There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the healer. And we're in the midst of a series that we're so. We're so grateful we get to bring this teaching to you. And we've been teaching on in Christ I can. And what we've done is we've made some resources available for you. And there are scriptures that tell us who we are in Christ, who He is in us, and what he will do through us, for us and in us. And so we want you to go to our website and download these resources. They're completely free to you. So you can download them and store them on your device or you can print them out. But we have a small sampling here of the in Him Scriptures, some of the main ones that we would feed on. And so it just looks like the. A small booklet called In Him. But then we also have a complete listing of what we would call the In Him Scriptures. And so they're here available for you in the larger text. And there's. Oh, goodness, there's 120 pages of this. And on this larger one, we have a minister friend, a friend of this ministry that he. He resourced 229 different Bible translations. He pulled the best translations out and compiled them for us. So we invite you, go get, get load. Get ahold of those, load them on your device, print them out. But not only that, meditate on them, feed on them. Because it's by you meditating on them that you take ownership of them. And that's how you establish the Word in you as you meditate on it and drive these truths down into your spirit and establish them in you. And I want you to know the best way to establish the Word in you is to feed on it through medit. And so we wanted to make those resources available to you. So go and enjoy those in this series. The last few episodes especially we've been on John 14:10. I'd like to start there again today. And Jesus is speaking. And he said, believest thou not that I am in the Father and the Father in me? So notice Jesus was public, he was vocal about the Father is in me and I'm in the Father. I guarantee you this was the first time he had said this. How many times he would have said it to himself, Even to remind himself that when you're faced with opposition, remind yourself, wait a minute, the Father's in me, I'm in Him. And what that does, that removes the struggle out of every circumstance that you may face in life. And then Jesus went on and said this. He said the words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself. So he's letting us know that to find his words, he went back to the One that who was in him, he went to his Father and he spoke the words that he heard His Father say. And then it goes on in this passage and says, but the Father that dwelleth in Me, he doeth the works. So Jesus ended up talking about the works that were done through him, was the Father doing the works through Him. And then not only that, he spoke the Father's words so that the Father could do the works through him. But we see that it all is prefaced by Jesus establishing in Him, I'm in the Father and the Father's in me. You know, when I go out to minister before a congregation, I don't, I don't go out there mindful of, oh, you know something about me. Because I always say this. I say when I. Before I go out, I pray to the Father and I say, father, there's nothing in me to bless the people, but there's everything in the God in me to bless the people. So I'm not, I realize I'm not trying to draw something out of me for the people, but the greater one in me has all they need. And I'm just perfect purposing to yield to him, respond to him, so that they can receive from him through Me. And so that's exactly the way your life is to be lived, that the one, the greater One in you, working through you. Well, Jesus said this. He said that the Father in me, he does the works. Well, the same one is in us. And know this, God is in us to do something through us. He's not just in us just to remain dormant and inactive. He wants to do and perform through us. Well, what determines whether or not he does that? Well, it's by how much we respond to Him. We're to start by acknowledging him and we're to knowledge him all throughout the day, turn toward him in our thoughts, turn toward him in our actions. And dad Hagin, who is our spiritual father, he used to say this often he would say to us, he said, when you're faced with any circumstance, when you're faced with any opposition, first think to say to yourself, what does the word say about this? What was he doing? He was turning us God inside minded. Whenever you're faced with a circumstance, always remind, remind yourself that you had the greater one on the inside of you to draw. To draw from that he will work through you. And that removes all the struggle of that circumstance out of your life. And so we see this. God's part is power, but our part is to respond to Him. Well how do we respond to Him? We obey him whatever he tells us to do. However the Spirit of God is leading us, the more we obey him, the more he can manifest through us. Everywhere that Jesus went, everything he did was nothing for Himself, but He was always obeying the Father for the benefit of the people that they received from Him. Because he responded to His Father and others lives will be benefited as you respond to the greater One in you. Not only will it benefit your own family and your own life, but the more we respond to him, the more others will be benefited by our obedience. I want you to know something. Obedience is so very important to the greater One who's on the inside of us, getting his way through us. One of my favorite passages that I go back to often is recorded in a book by Kenneth Hagin. And he, he has a book called I Believe in Visions. And it's an account of the different visions that he had of Jesus throughout his life. And the favorite chapter that I have in that book is called the Hospital Visitor. And he was talking about the time that Jesus visited him. He had fallen as a young man in ministry and he had fallen and hurt his arm. And so he had gone to the hospital. And while he was there in the hospital, Jesus walked into his hospital room, pulled up a chair next to his hospital bed and sat and talked to him for an hour and a half. And one of the things that Jesus said during the course of that visitation, he said, it is my best that my people. And he listed three things. He said that my people never be sick, never need to be operated on, and never have any accidents, so notice it's God's best that we never be sick, that we never need to be operated on. And number three, we don't have accidents. But then Jesus followed it up with this. He said, very few of my children ever live in my best. And he said, the reason is. And then he gave three reasons. He said, number one, they don't know what belongs to them in Christ. He said, number two, even if they do know what belongs to them, they haven't developed their faith enough to receive what belongs to them. And then he said, number three, due to disobedience. So we see this that there are things that will rob us of God's best. Number one, not knowing what's ours in Christ. Number two, not releasing our faith for it. And number three, not obeying. But I would say this remind us that all three of these things are completely fixable. That if we're not experiencing God's best, we can fix that and we don't have to be cheated from receiving of God's best. But I want to focus on the third reason. He said that many of his children don't receive his best, and that's due to lack of obedience. Because when we disobey God, we open the door to the devil. And when we open the door to the devil, he has a right to attack us. And so if we'll stay on the ground of obedience, that will give us the best life. And not only will it give us the best life, that's how we're responding to God, so that he can manifest through us. Remember, Jesus said, the works that I do, shall you do also. But listen, Jesus was obedient to His Father. If we're going to do the works that Jesus said that Jesus did, and the greater works he referred to, we're going to have to be obedient to the Father, just like Jesus was obedient to the Father. Obedience is not optional. It's mandatory to be a channel that God can manifest through and operate through. We were looking at a previous episode on Isaiah, chapter one. In verse 19, it's written, if you be willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land. Now listen, how many times God will tell you something to obey that's really not for your benefit necessarily. Maybe he'll tell you to do something for somebody. He'll tell you to give them something. Maybe he'll say, bless this person with an amount of money and as you obey him, what happens? That obedience boomerangs back into your life and it ends up making your life better. Because if we're willing and obedient, we eat the good of the land. Even if what we obeyed him in wasn't directed toward us but directed towards something else or someone else. So I want us to see this, that the devil is constantly trying to push back against our obedience. That he's wanting to paint it as though obeying God in something is a difficulty, a challenge, a hardship. How many times people have stepped back from the plan of God because they don't want to obey what God's commanding of their life. But know this, we have to practice stepping past our flesh, stepping past our mind and the reasonings of man every time to obey God. But the more you just step past it, the easier it is to step past it. But if we let our mind talk us out of obeying God, if we let our flesh cause us to step back from obeying God, then we lose skill in obedience. But every time we obey God, it becomes easier and easier to obey him the next time. Haven't you ever learned this? I've recognized this, that when God tells me to do something, the quicker I obey that that shuts down the window. I'm giving the devil to trouble me. That if I delay my obedience and I struggle with obeying, then I'm giving the devil more time to trouble my mind about it. For example, if he. If God tells me to give a certain amount of money to someone and I just struggle, oh, I need that amount. Oh my goodness, that's going to really. Oh, I'm going to feel that if I do that I'm giving the devil in that time I'm delaying. I'm giving the devil more time to trouble my thought life. So I've learned this. The quicker I obey, the shorter time I'm giving the devil to try to trouble me. And I found this out, that the struggle before I obeyed was far worse or far more difficult than just obeying God in the first place. And then after I obey, I go, my goodness, why didn't I obey to begin with? The obedience ended up blessing my life. And I struggled against the obedience. And the struggle against the obedience is what troubled me. It wasn't obeying that troubled me, it was the struggle against obeying that troubled me. And so here, if we be willing and obedient, we all, we begin to partake of the goodness of God at a whole level. Now what should be our attitude in our mindset toward when God tells us to do something? Because like I said, the only way God can manifest through us is through our obedience to him. So Psalm chapter 112. 1. I want us to see this. It says, praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that fears the Lord. Or we could say this that honors and regards and reverences the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. Notice this. He said that the blessed man is the man who reverences the Lord, and he delights greatly in his commandments. Do you know when God's telling us to do something that's a command? He's not just talking about the Ten Commandments. Anything God commands of our life, anything God tells us to do, anything the Spirit of God is leading us to do, we need to look at it as a command from God. And notice this. What is to be our attitude and our approach toward what God leads us to do and what God commands us to do. We're to delight greatly in his commandments. Now, how many of you know that's not a feeling, that's a choice that we are to choose to be greatly delighted that God ever commands something of us. But how many times people will take to themselves, oh, I hope God didn't tell me to do this. I hope he doesn't tell me to go there. I remember something that one minister was saying years ago when he was young in ministry. God said to him, and God dealt with him about going and pastoring in a certain location. And he goes, I don't want to do that. Oh, I don't want to go to that city and pastor. I don't want to pastor in that city so bad. And God said, would you go pastor? And gave him the name of a city he didn't tell him to. He said, would you? And he said, I didn't want to do that. He said, I struggled with that. He said, I wrestled with that thing for six months. And he said, the more I wrestle against it, the harder the struggle became. And finally he said, I got so weary of the struggle that he finally said, after six months, yes, God, I'll go pastor that church. And God said, I didn't ask you to pastor the church. I asked you, would you be willing to pastor the church? He said, I don't want you to pastor the church. I just wanted you to be willing to do what I said. And then the minister said, I troubled my own life by struggling against something that God had said to me. I want you to know anything God commands of our life is to bless us, not struggle against. And God said, I didn't want you to do it. I just wanted you to be willing. Do you know It'll bless our life to be willing. It troubles our life to kick against what God is commanding of us. Remember when Paul was on the road to Damascus and Jesus. Jesus visited him that day and he said to Paul, his name was Saul. Then he said, saul, Saul. He said, why persecutest thou me? But then he said that you only trouble yourself when you kick against the pricks. In other words, when you kick against the will of God and the plan of God, it ends up troubling your life. And it's not the devil. You're troubling yourself through disobedience. Well, I want you to know the devil wants to paint obedience as a hardship. But we're commanded here of how to see obedience to God. We're to delight greatly when God commands us to do something. So when there have been times that God has spoken something to my life and I might not have naturally in my own self preferred to do that, I've immediately learned to say, thank you Father, that I get to do that. I immediately start worshiping him, thanking and praising him and choosing to be delighted at that command. If God were to tell me to give a certain amount of money to someone, I'd say, thank God, I have that money to give. Thank God you'll even use me to bless them. To bless them with that amount of money. Because God will always give us the resources we need to obey Him. So know this, that faith delights greatly to to obey the commands of God. So I want you to see that there's three things to do in this verse in Psalm chapter 112, verse 1. There's three things to do in this verse that positions us to enjoy what the rest of the chapter holds for us. Verse one is the key to all of this chapter. Number one, praise the Lord. How many of you know this is a lifestyle, a lifestyle, worshiping and prais. What's that mean? Our attention is on him. That's why we're told that we are to daily ongoing that praise is to be our lifestyle. Why is that? Because it keeps us mindful of him. So praise ye the Lord. Be mindful of him. Releasing our faith through praise is one of the greatest ways to release faith. So that when we're praising the Lord, we have our faith in our mouth that we're ever ready with faith words whenever we're praising the Lord as a lifestyle. So number one, praise the Lord. Number two, blessed is the man that fears the Lord. So what is this? We reverence what God, who God is in our life and we reverence anything he would say to us. Number three. We delight greatly in what he commands of us when we carry out these three things. When these three things are in place. Having a lifestyle of praise and worship. Because it's a releasing of faith, fearing God, honoring God, and then delighting greatly in what he commands. The rest of the chapter belongs to us. Now let's look at what the rest of the chapter says. What will happen to the man of verse one? What will happen to the one who delights greatly in obeying God? It says in verse 2, his seed shall be mighty upon the earth. The generation of the upright shall be blessed. So what do we see? The blessing upon the man who delights in command, in obeying the commands of God. The blessing upon him is so great that it will spill over into the next generation. His life will be so full of blessings that his life can't contain it all. But that blessing will spill over into the upcoming generations. And they are partaking of the obedience of that man who obeyed God and delighted greatly in his commandments. The third verse of Psalm, chapter 112 says this wealth and riches shall be in his house. Look at this. We won't even have to struggle to get them. They'll show up. They'll be there. Why? Because Matthew chapter 6, verse 33 says this. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. And all these things. Look at this, shall be added to you. You don't have to chase for things to come. If you will delight greatly in obeying God and yielding to him, responding to Him. The blessings of God will show up in your life. They will follow you everywhere you go. And they will fill your life. And they'll be so full that your life can't contain it all. But it will spill over and bless others. But verse three says, wealth and riches shall be in his house and his righteousness endureth forever. What's that mean? He will increase financially. He will be blessed financially and his righteousness will be intact. He won't have to compromise his ethics. He won't have to compromise his righteousness for the sake of trying to gain increase. He won't have to violate his conscience. He won't have to violate another man. But he will be pure in his motive. He'll be pure in his financial endeavors. Because the commandments of God will bless his life as he obeys them. He didn't have to do anything unethical to compromise his reputation. He didn't. He didn't take advantage of another brother in Christ, he didn't have to cheat somebody so he could get ahead. He trusted in God to increase him. When he obeyed the plan of God for his life. For the will of God is your wealthy place. When you obey God, the blessing of God will fill your life. And your attention won't have to be on trying to get something. Your attention is on obeying him and delighting greatly in his commandments. And the blessings of God will fill up your life with all the provision of heaven that you ever need. Then look at verse four of chapter 112. It says, Unto the upright, there ariseth light in the darkness. Well, what does that mean? To the man who praises God, to the man who reverences God, to the man who delights greatly in the commandments of God, it says that to that man, unto the upright there ariseth light. What is that? It's revelation of the word. That God will unveil his word to the man who's moving in obedience. When those people that refuse to obey God, they will not come into further revelation. But when we choose to obey God and we delight greatly to do it, we're willing to, and we're obedient. The revelation of God is going to be made known to that man. Light of the Word, the wisdom of God will be made known to him. Look at this. It says, unto the upright, there ariseth light in the darkness. What's that in the darkness? When it's dark in the world, it'll be bright for the one who's obeying God. When the. When those in the world don't know what to do about their lives, when there's economic upheaval, the man who's obeying God, he will have revelation. He'll know exactly what to do. At those times. What troubles the world will not trouble this man. Because his obedience has put him in a place of blessing. And in that blessing comes the leading of God, the revelation of God, the wisdom of God. And he'll not walk in the dark. When everyone around him is in the dark and stumbling, not knowing what to do, this man is walking in the light. What is this man? He's the man who is greatly delighting in the commandments of God. And then it says this in verse four, that this man is gracious and full of compassion and righteous. What's this mean? The nature of God's dominating this man. When he's a person that is willing and obedient to God, the nature of God will be evident in his life. That it will dominate his actions. That love Nature in him will cause him to walk and move even as God does. He'll move in graciousness, he'll move in compassion, and he'll move in righteousness. Now let's go to verse five and we'll see further what it says about this man who is delighting greatly to obey God. It says in Psalm 112, verse 5. A good man. He shows favor and he lendeth. Look at this. He has so much that he can. He can help someone else fulfill their vision he's lending to them. And it says, and he will guide his affairs with discretion. What's this mean? He won't have to compromise and go against his conscience to have his needs met because the blessing of God will be so abundant. And then verse 6 says, surely he shall not be moved forever. What's this mean? Circumstances aren't pushing him around. What puts others in upheaval in their lives? They won't be able to touch this man. This man is immovable. He is so established in the Word that his life is not in upheaval. His family is not suffering. His family is not going from one crisis to another. This man shall not be moved. He shall have nothing but the blessing of God established and flowing in his life. Then it goes on in verse 5 and says, the righteous shall be an everlasting remembrance. Look at this. That he's always in the thoughts of God. God will not forget the man who obeys him. God will not forget the man who is delighting greatly to move with God. He will always be remembered by God. And what's that mean? He'll always have everything he needs because he's not a forgotten man. Verse 7 says this. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings. What's that mean? The devil may threaten him with something. Won't make him afraid. He may see fearful circumstances rise up in the world and they won't have any effect on him. Why? Because he is so absorbed with obeying God that that takes his total attention. And it says this about him. His heart is fixed. He's trusting in the Lord. He's not wavering in the face of adversity. He's standing strong and immovable because he delights in obeying God. And then verse 8 says this. His heart is established. He shall not be afraid until he sees his desire upon his enemies. He's not talking about people as enemies, but evil spirits. The devil in his kingdom working against this man is so untroubled by evil spirits that would try to oppose him because he's in a place of obedience, and in that place of obedience nothing but good can reach him. And then in verse 9 it says this, he has dispersed and he has given to the poor. This man has the nature of God flowing so strongly through him that he can be generous no matter what circumstances are around him. Because he's not living self absorbed, he's living mindful. How can I be a blessing? Listen, the man who obeys God. When he hears a command, he seeks to hear God. What could you command of me? Because when you command something of me and I obey it, the blessing of God only increases on me. That's why we delight greatly when God commands something of our life, because we know when when we obey him that the blessing of God only increases. Well, I trust that this has been a blessing to you and we're going to continue along these lines next time. And until then, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

In this episode, Nancy Dufresne continues her extended teaching series, "In Christ I Can," exploring themes of faith, healing, renewing the mind, and living out the blessings and authority that belong to all believers in Christ. The central focus in Part 200 is on obedience—how responding to God's Word and commands is key to receiving His best, experiencing blessings, and becoming a conduit for God's works in the world. Drawing from the words of Jesus, the example of Kenneth Hagin, and Psalm 112, Nancy thoroughly unpacks practical steps for believers to transition from merely knowing God's promises to actively walking in them.

By doing so, believers not only experience personal blessing and stability but become channels for God’s provision and power to flow into their families, communities, and beyond—even in times of darkness, upheaval, and need. Obedience is not drudgery; it is the pathway to intimacy with God, supernatural provision, and a lasting legacy.
