There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. And we're still continuing with our series called In Christ I Can. And so we've done a couple of of these episodes on this topic and there is so much to it. And we're so glad that the Holy Ghost has us emphasizing this because knowing who we are in Christ is the foundation of our redemption. When we understand who we are in Christ, we. We quit struggling with a poor self image. We. We quit struggling trying to think that we have to accomplish something apart from the Father. Listen, God authored a plan for our lives and, and then he filled us with Himself so that he could accomplish that plan through us. And what is it that invites him to move and flow through us? Number one, it's our faith. And number two, it's our obedience. And really, faith is obedience that when we're in faith, we're obeying the Father. And if I could say this, we're to have the obedience of faith. And so our faith life is so important to becoming a partaker of this Divine One that host. Listen. When we recognize that we are the temple of the Holy Ghost and how that elevates our existence, how that elevates our life on a daily basis. And it is our privilege to learn, to become mindful that the Holy Spirit is in us now, when we recognize that it's going to affect the way we live, if we'll recognize that we're hosting a divine genius, we are hosting God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. There needs to be a reverence about that for us, that we walk in a way that we're pleasing him and honoring him, not out of a fear, but out of reverence for who it is that we're dealing with. And he's not just somebody. He is God Almighty, and He is our Father. And we are where we honor him as God, but we obey him as Father, a loving Father. And we don't fear penalty from him. But we know this when he gives us the standard to live by. He's helping us to keep the door closed to the Devil because He knows if we fall short of the standard he gives us in His Word, that opens the door to the Devil. He's trying to keep us off the Devil's territory. So he puts his guidelines, he puts his instructions, he puts his commands in the word for to obey. And it's not to fear him, but it's to keep us safe from the enemy who wants. Who is looking for an opportunity to attack us. And so it's so important that we obey him because we are hosting God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. And that should elevate how we live, how we think, how we speak, where we go, what we participate in. It's not about us trying to do better. It's about us recognizing. Wait a minute. Because I know who's in me. I'm going to honor Him. And so that's going to. That's going to affect our interaction in this world with one another and with locations or places that we would go. We're going to think of him first instead of just ourselves. And one of the things that we have that belongs to us in Christ is the plan of God that He has authored for us. He has already, in Christ, fully supplied everything we need to carry out that plan. Now, I state it this way. I call Jesus the treasure box of heaven. And everything that God intended for us to have, he put in Christ. And then he put Christ in us. So when we have Christ, we have everything. I want us to read in Colossians, chapter 2, verses 9 and 10 in the Living Bible translation. This has been a golden text for us. It reads, for in Christ there is all of God in a human body. So you have everything when you have Christ. And you are filled with God through your union with Christ. Now look at that, what that does for humanity, that we are filled with God. We have everything when we have Him. He's left none of Himself outside our reach. It all belongs to us. So we have Him. So we have everything. Now what's that mean? We are possessors of him, but we need to become partakers in our daily life of all that we possess. Now, I've made this statement before, but it's so important for us to realize just because we possess something doesn't mean we're partaking of it. You can have a kitchen full of food and a kitchen full of things to eat, but that doesn't mean that you're eating any of it. And it's the same thing with what belongs to us in Christ. We have a full. We have full cabinet. The shelves of our spirit are to be fully stocked with what we possess in Christ. But it's not enough to say we have it. That needs to play out in our everyday experience that we become partakers of everything that has been made ours in Christ. Well, how do we partake? Well, it tells us in Philemon, there's only one chapter in the book of Philemon, but we go to verse six and it talks about that as we acknowledge everything that belongs to us in Christ, that our faith becomes effective. So our faith is effectual as we acknowledge every good thing that belongs to us because we belong to Christ. So notice this. We have to. We have to know what belongs to us, and then we have to acknowledge what belongs to us. The day we don't acknowledge it is the day we don't partake of it. But the day we do acknowledge it is the day we become a partaker of that which we possess. So it takes faith to acknowledge that which we don't see. We acknowledge that we have wisdom even before we know what to do. It's faith that says, my body is healed and free from any pain, any symptoms. And we do that by faith, even in the face of symptoms. So we are a partaker by faith. And so we don't let what we see, we don't let what we feel determine the way we live. We choose what flows in our life. The devil can bring opposition, but we can either close the door to that or open the door to that. Well, we're learning that when we know who we are in Christ, that we're learning to keep that door closed to the devil. And if it's not out of the household of faith, we refuse to allow it into our life. So by faith we have to recognize what belongs to us, and we believe for it. But not only that. Every time that we need to make a demand on the greater one within us, he will give us something to obey. So faith is an obedience. Faith is obeying what he tells us to do. And he will direct us in what to do. When you need a miracle from God, God is not going to leave you out of that process. He's going to give you something to obey. And we see that happen time and Time again, through Jesus earthly ministry, he would tell the lame man, get up, take up your bed and go home. So he would always give him something to do. He didn't just, he didn't just expect people. People weren't just laying there on their bed and doing nothing. And the power raising them up, they had to put forth their agreement. And that was an act of faith. And when they would do that, the power of God would meet that act of faith. So know this, that faith is an act. Faith is an act of obedience. Not just a random act, but something that the Holy Ghost and God is telling us to do. And then when we, when we move in obedience to that, his power meets our faith. So it's so important that we realize faith is critical to us becoming a partaker of everything that belongs to us in Christ. It will not just automatically drop on us. We have to partake of what we possess. It won't come into play without our faith. Now, we've been talking in previous episodes talking about the different components that have to be present in faith Number one, we have to hear the Word. We also have to be teachable. We have to be so quick to be easily persuaded by the Word instead of being hard hearted that we are critical of the Word. No, as soon as we see that something is in the Word of God, we quickly and easily accept it because faith is easily persuaded. Now that doesn't mean faith is gullible. It doesn't believe everything that it hears. But when it sees it's in line with the Word, it's quick to be persuaded. We're quick to believe. Another thing about faith is we walk in love. Why? Because faith works by love. So we need our love walk in place. Not only that, we need to release the faith that comes from hearing the Word. So faith comes by hearing. It's released by speaking and by acting on the Word, but it operates by love. So we have to have these different components in place. And I want to. We started on a previous episode talking about another component that you're going to find in the faith life and that is to endure. We are to stand our ground. The Word tells us Paul was writing in the book of Ephesians and he said, having done all to stand, stand, therefore. So what's he talking about? That from the time you release your faith until the time your answer comes into manifestation, you're going to have to fill that span of time with endurance. And I want you to know endurance is a joyful, is to be a joyful flow. It's not a hard something that is, is, is a heavy weight or pressure upon us. But we endure. But we endure with joy. And why is that? Because as we stand our ground, that we will receive a manifestation of everything we're believing. For this word endure. The definition for endure means to support without breaking or yielding to force or pressure. Yes, there's going to come pressure against the different arenas of our life. The devil will make sure that there's pressure that we can feel, feel, feel that pressure against the mind. Feel it when in a financial setting we can feel it with our body, with pain and symptoms. And that's just a pressure to get us to believe the wrong thing or act in the wrong way. But I want you to know we endure. And we don't cast away our confidence, but we hold fast to the faith that the power of God is working. Listen, the moment we release faith, power always begins flowing. Now you need to know that the moment we release faith, power always begins moving and operating. Now it doesn't necessarily mean that there's immediate manifestation of things, but just think of it this way. If you've ever taken an aspirin or something, the moment you swallow it, that starts breaking down into your system. But the system doesn't fully benefit from that aspirin. The moment it's swallowed. It has to have time to process. And I want you to know that there is a process in this walk of faith. The Word talks about that process. It says, first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear. Sometimes that process can happen more rapidly and sometimes it can take a little bit more time, depending on the nature of the need. But I will say this, if you we shouldn't get occupied with how long is it going to take. Our job is to just keep believing. And people say, well, when is it going to manifest? When's my answer going to show up? Well, I will say this. God is the manifester. We're not the ones who can cause a manifestation. All we can do is cooperate with God who is the manifester. The Holy Spirit will perform what we're believing for. But the manifestation is not our job. The manifestation is not our part. Believing, speaking in line with the Word, acting in line with the Word, obeying God. That is our part of faith. And so we need to not touch in to God's part. Because the manifestation, the devil will say, well, how long until your answer manifests? Say devil. That's not my business. My job is just to believe. Do not allow the devil to dupe you into If I could say this, getting occupied with when is the manifestation going to come? Because real faith ignores the calendar and the clock. And so this is why we are just enduring. And I want you to know that enduring is as part of much of the Word is as receiving the manifestation of our answer. You know, we all love it when the manifestation comes. But I want you to know enduring is still part of the Word. And when we're enduring, we're working the Word. And people think that, well, if the Word was working in my life, I would have the answer manifested. You know, just standing on the Word and enduring and holding fast to what God said. That is the Word in action. And so don't be deceived into thinking that it's something that is not important. It is so important. And I want you to know that people, when we're feeding our faith and our faith is growing, it can look like the graph on a chart to where that faith line is increasing. But people just think that the faith life is just this, up, up, up, up, up. Well, I want you to know it's partially that, but we'll have a measure that will come and then we have to endure. And it will. If I could say this, it will go right across. It'll. It'll cap off right there. What is it? We're walking out that measure of faith that we have just come into. So it's faith will come, then we endure, then faith will come, and then we endure. Faith will grow, and we will endure. You cannot get away from the process of endurance. It is part of the, of the faith life, and it keeps us to where we are more usable to God when we know how to endure. What's that mean? We don't quit. That's simply what it means. We don't let the passing of time. We don't let the calendar or the clock discourage us, because we know this faith is the substance of things hoped for. I like what one translation said. It says, faith is giving substance to what I hope for. So would the devil will say to you, or your mind will even say to you, when is the answer going to show up? How come it's taking so long for the answer to show up? You are completely right to answer it with my faith is giving substance to that which I hope for. And so we, we just keep our faith on assignment. We keep our faith ever moving and ever ready that every day we're believing God for something. There's never a day we shouldn't be believing God for something. You should always have A faith project, because it's by faith you draw on who you are in Christ and the treasure box of heaven. Who is Christ in you? The hope of glory that you are drawing out of that treasure box and spending him instead of just thinking that you have to accomplish these things apart from him in your own ability. And so endurance is such a mighty part of this life of Faith. Proverbs chapter 24, in verse 10, the Amplified classic translation says this. If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. So notice this. We're to have a great strength with our faith. What's that mean? We don't quit. We endure that. We're not looking for a place to stop, but we're looking to continue. And we're not just going to settle for relief. We're going to go all the way to victory. The devil will offer you a measure of relief, and he wants you to quit before the full victory comes. So don't just accept relief. Go all the way to victory. And if you'll do that, then your strength will be great. And I want you to know that there's going to come adversity, and we can face that strong. And if we're strong in that day of adversity, we're untroubled by that which we're facing or that which is opposing us. So it says again, if you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. That means if you quit, if you go backwards, if you lay down what God has said to you, no, don't lay it down. Pick it up. And you say, well, Pastor Nancy, I can remember things that I have laid down that I have not endured. I haven't kept at it. Well, pick them back up. Because everything that ever belonged to you in Christ still belongs to you. I don't care how much time has passed. I don't care if it's been one year. I don't care if it's been 20 years that you have let things go on that you know are against the plan of God. You can pick back up what God has said in His Word or what he said to you by His Spirit. And you can endure and you can reach the end of that. That means the manifestation, the fulfillment of that which you're believing. For I want you to see what Hebrews chapter 6 in verse 15 says. It says, and so after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Look at that. After patient endurance, he obtained the promise. So the Word tells us that it's not just by faith. It's faith and patience. Listen, without patience, faith will. Faith will quit. It has to have patience added to it. And in that, we can find ourselves enduring patiently. And that belongs to us in Christ, that we do not have to. We do not have to struggle in our walk and our life of endurance. You know, my husband, when he faced one of the greatest tests that he ever faced, this was well before we got married. But he had invited Dr. Lester Sumrall, who is a bold man of faith, he had invited him to come preach in his church. And when Dr. Sumrall came, he preached, don't quit. And he just, he. He left a note to my husband in his office and just said, talk to him about endurance. Because it's not just enough to love God. You have to endure. You have to by faith. We hold to the word, we hold to what God has said, and we endure. I love. I so love something that happened toward the end of Jesus earthly ministry. Something that happened with Peter. Jesus was preaching a sermon that the congregation, the multitude, did not understand. He said, you have to drink my blood and eat my flesh or you have no part of me. And I don't know what they thought about that sermon, but they didn't understand it. And it says, from that day forward, the multitudes quit following him. What was it? People who had been healed quit following him. People who had been raised from the dead had quit following him. People who had been cripples, quit following him. People who ate of the loaves and the fish that were multiplied, they quit following him. Why sermon? They didn't understand. And so during his. During him preaching this, it's during his service, the multitude gets up and they walk out on him. You think as a preacher that you've had people walk out on you? Well, welcome. Jesus had his entire congregation walk out on him. And he turned around and all that was Left were the 12 disciples. And I love what Jesus said. He said, you want to go on, go on, too. In other words, if we're cleaning house, let's get it all out. And Jesus was not trying to keep people who did not want to stay. He was telling these disciples, if you're going to leave, now's the time to leave. And I love what Peter said. He said, if we leave, where do we go? He said, you have the words of life. So Peter didn't understand that sermon either. But notice Peter recognized, if I'm leaving this place, where better am I going? He recognized there was nothing better to go to. So he stayed right with Jesus, along with those 12 disciples. But I want you to see this. There's going to come opportunities for you to leave. Where are you going to go if you're going to lay down your faith, what you going to pick up in its place? Fear. Because that's all that's left to pick up. If you're not going to hold to the plan of God, what you going to go to your own plan? Well, that's a failing plan because it came out of all it's authored by man. Anything we author will end up causing difficulty in our life. But anything God offers that there is no heartbreak with it, there's no heartache in it. And I want you to know that the devil will always try to try to pressure you to back up on your faith. But if you back up, where are you going to go? You're going to go into the dark. You're going to go into uncleanness. You're going to go into a place where you don't have the clarity you need for life. Listen, remember this. There is no better place to go than with the plan of God. There is no better way to live than by the word of God. So don't ever fall prey to. Well, I'm just going to lay down my faith or I'm going to quit this. You know, I'm going to quit this Bible business. I'm going to quit this believing business. Well, where are you going to go that's better? I want you to know that it's not about going to something better. It's about us learning the better one. It's about us learning our better covenant. It's about us believing and it's about us holding, holding strong and standing firm. Because I want you to know that if we will, if we will find out what the Word says, it gives us the best life when we hold to what God says. And people will say, well, you know, I've been believing for healing and it hasn't shown up. Well, if you're not going to believe for healing, what you going to do? Where are you going to go after that? There's no other. There's no other place of hope, there's no other place of light than the Word and what God says. So don't back up on anything. I don't care what pressure comes. If you will endure, you will receive the fullness of the victory that belongs to you in Christ. So just keep going and just keep feeding on the Word and fortifying yourself and being, being made strong by the Word. Amen. Well, we don't want you to miss next time. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

Date: March 30, 2026
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
This episode continues Nancy Dufresne’s expansive series "In Christ I Can," with a focus on the believer’s identity in Christ, faith as both possession and participation, the necessity of endurance in receiving God’s promises, and the practical steps to walk out what has been made available through Christ. Key themes include the importance of faith, obedience, and endurance, all rooted in recognition of God’s presence within the believer. Listeners are encouraged to move beyond passively possessing God’s gifts to actively partaking of them, standing their ground in faith, and enduring until manifestation.
