There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad to have you joining us today for Jesus the Healer. And we are thrilled to continue with you on the series called In Christ I Can. And we see this, that in this series we've been looking at what we would call our golden text. And that's Colossians, chapter 2, verse 9. The Living Bible translation says, for in Christ there is all of God in a human body. So you have everything when you have Christ. And you are filled with God through your union with Christ. Look at this. You have everything when you have Christ. So it has been our privilege to move with you in discovering all that belongs to us in Christ. And we're just so thankful that the Holy Ghost has led us this way. Because when we come into the realization and we establish in us that we are in Christ and Christ is in us, then we come into the highest order of faith. And know this, that we have to establish this in us, because it is the very foundation of our redemption. If we don't gain knowledge of who we are in Christ and who Christ is in us, we'll struggle thinking that we have to get something from God when we don't really understand that he's already made it ours. So this is why we're establishing it in us. Because we don't want to think that we've got to get God to do something. He's already done everything for us in the sense that he has made everything. He's everything he wanted for our life. He put in Christ and He put Christ in us. We are deficient in nothing. I want you to know that our kingdom is an all sufficiency kingdom. And we don't have to go outside the kingdom for our help. Every single need that is going to arise in this life, it finds its supply in the kingdom. And part of that, remember What Jesus said, he said, the kingdom of God is in you. And in this kingdom we are. We are indwelt by Christ. Christ is in us and we have everything we need. The thing is, is that people, many times they're struggling to get something because they're not aware that it's already been made theirs. And this is what we see in the King James translation of verse 10, Colossians 2, verse 10 says, you are complete in him. And I want you to know that means there's not to be anything left incomplete in our life. We are complete in him. Meaning we lack nothing. And so in the face of every adversity, in the face of every circumstance, in the face of all opposition, we are not trying to get something from God, but we're drawing on the all sufficient one who is on the inside of us and who has filled us with all sufficiency enough in the face of every test and every trial, you know, Jesus was so aware that he that within him was the Father and that he was anointed by the Spirit of God. And every word that Jesus spoke and every action that Jesus took, it always worked. There was no deficiency in his word. There was no deficiency in his actions. He would speak to the sea, the wind, they obeyed him. Sickness and death obeyed his words. Why is that? God? It wasn't because he was born the Son of God. It was because. Listen. Because the Word tells us he laid aside his mighty glory and virtue when he was born into the earth, so he walked on this earth as a man. But we know this when he was baptized by John the Baptist in the river Jordan, the anointing of God came on him. And it wasn't until the anointing came on him that we see miracles being recorded. And so he had to be anointed. But I want you to know you're anointed. The Spirit of God is within you. You are the temple of the Holy Ghost. And Jesus lived this life on earth to show us what the new creature in Christ can be living. That he was the example of what the new creature in Christ can produce. So Jesus was a man, but he was filled with God. And that's what he was drawing on. He wasn't drawing on the humanity side of him. He was drawing on the anointing. And that was upon him, that was within him. He was drawing on his union with the Father as he went about blessing humanity. And I want you to know that same union is ours. We are one with the Father in Christ. Christ is in us. We are in Him. So what is it that made everything that Jesus said and Jesus did work? The secret was his union with the Father. Jesus made much of his union with the Father. He kept that as the forefront of his thought life, and he often spoke of it. He exercised his authority from this place of union with His Father. Every miracle, every answered prayer, and every divine and every divine flow that came from him was from a place of his awareness that he was one with the Father. Now this is what we must develop is an awareness that the greater One is in us. We are the temple of the Holy Ghost. And those who are more aware of this are the ones who are going to see the fruit of it in a greater measure in their life. I want us to look at something. In John 14:10, Jesus made this statement. He said, believest thou not that I am in the Father? Now, what a bold statement. No man had ever made this statement before. He said, I am in the Father. Look at this in me. And the words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself. So what's this mean? He wasn't drawing out of the human side of him. He was drawing out of the One who indwelt him. And I want you to know you too are indwelt by the Father. You are indwelt by the Word of God. You are indwelt by the Holy Ghost. And so this is what our privilege is, is to draw out of who abides in. In us. And he's in us and abiding in us so that we can spend him, draw on him, put him to work for us, in us and through us. And he will not force himself upon us. So that means this, that we have to open the door for him to manifest the honor of God is so great that he will not involve Himself without invitation. I love something that Brother Hagin, who was our spiritual father, used to say. He said, God is a perfect gentleman. He will not enforce. He will not force himself upon anyone, even if he knows they need Him. He will not come uninvited. Well, how many of you know? Every single one of us were saved because we invited Jesus in. Listen, God knows that every human needs a Savior. That's why he provided Jesus. But even though a Savior belongs to them, he cannot work for them unless they open the door and invite him in. Why is that? The honor of God will not violate a man's will. And so when we, when we invite him, acknowledge him, turn to Him. That's how we draw on the One who's in us. So Jesus was constantly Acknowledging the Father that was in Him. And so he made this statement, I am in the Father and the Father's in me. If Jesus needed to be aware of that, we need to be aware of that. That when we're getting up in the day and living our life, it's not as one separate from the Father, we are one with Him. And we have to build that awareness in us. Because too many times people are saying, well, how come as a believer, this person is more blessed than this person? It's not because they have more available to them, but they are more aware of who is in them. And so as our awareness of him grows, our dependency upon him grows. As we lean more on him, draw more on him and allow him to work for us, we'll see greater demonstrations of his power through us. And so know this, that you are one with the Father, but it's as you acknowledge him throughout the day. And I remember something I said to God years ago. You know, when you're not very knowledgeable, you'll say all kinds of things to God. And I remember probably about 30 years ago, I made this statement to God. I said, God, how come I sensed more of your presence yesterday than I do today? And he said, because yesterday you yielded further to me than you have today. So I was putting it off on him as to why I didn't sense his presence, but he put it back on me. Know this, the more aware we are of him, the more we're opening the door to him to manifest and move for us. Every single day, we have to set our awareness in his direction. I remember something God said to me. He said, see each day as its own individual container. That every day you have to fill that container with your faith. Every day you have to fill that container with actions of faith. You have to acknowledge me that day. So too many times we think, well, last week, you know, I prayed. Last week I studied. Last week I released my faith. Well, that's good. But every day needs its own filling. And so it's not living off of yesterday's filling, but it's filling up each and every day. And so this is what. What we have to practice is living aware of Him. And so God said something to me years ago. He said, start every day in the spirit and then keep your heart turned toward me all day long. Well, what did he mean by saying, start in the spirit? Well, to start, if I could say, getting connected to my spirit, that I'm not just connected to the mental arena, that I'm not just living out of the soulish arena. But I'm turned toward Him. And how do you do that? Well, you can connect with your spirit or turn toward your spirit. Start every day in the spirit a number of ways. Sometimes I'm led of the Spirit to just feed on the Word. Other times I'm led by the Spirit to just spend time worshiping God. Sometimes I spend time praying in the Holy Spirit. I don't just do the same thing every day. I'm led every day. What's the best way for me to really keep my turn? Turn my awareness toward Him. And this is the thing we see with Jesus is that he was so aware of His Father. And this is the place that miracles and healings flowed from because of his awareness of the Father. Everywhere he went, good works were produced. There was such rich fruit that was coming out of Jesus because he was draw on the Father again. I want you to look with me at John 14, verse 10, the King James translation. Jesus said, believest thou not that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself. So he would not even go to himself to find his words. He went to the Father to find the words that he should say. What's this mean? That means we turn toward our hearts, we turn toward our Spirit, and we let these flows of our life come from a higher place, not just from the mind of man, not just out of what circumstances are facing us, but we draw from within our spirit. And then he says this in the last phrase, he said, but the Father that dwelleth in Me, he doeth the works. So notice there's three different things in this verse that we see. Jesus was aware that His Father was in him. He was in the Father. Then that affected his words. And then the words opened the door for God to do mighty works through him. Well, Jesus is showing us a pattern that we are to bear the same kind of fruit. Listen, the next verse tells us that the works that I do, shall you do also. But he's telling us how we're going to do them. And that is the way that we're going to do them is we're going to acknowledge I'm in the Father and the Father's in Me. And I'm simply the channel that he is going to flow through to manifest through me. So God is in us because he wants to perform through us. Jesus rich fellowship with His Father meant miracles for the people in need. I want you to know your rich fellowship with the Father should manifest as miracles. For other people, help for other people, write words that are going to assist and elevate other people. And you know, when you are aware and living mindful of the presence of God, do you know that that's going to affect when you're around other people, that they sense God about you? I remember there was this world famous, world famous evangelist. If I were to say his name, most of you of course would recognize it. But when he turned 80 years old, he was on television and for his birthday, someone was interviewing him. And the interviewer said to this minister, he said, you know, a lot of men get to the, to the latter years of their life and they look back and they regret how they spent their life. But he said, you must be quite fulfilled and satisfied to know that your life has produced so much blessing for other people. And this well known minister made this statement. He said, I feel like I am one of the greatest failures of all men. He said, because I was so busy with people, I was so busy doing the work of the ministry, that I was not with God enough. If I would have been more with the Father, people would have sensed more of the Father about me when they were with me. So in his latter years, he had more time, his travels had slowed down and he had more time to spend with God. And he recognized I could have been spending more time with God all along and the outflow of my life would have been different. Well, this man was by no means a failure. He blessed the earth. But he recognized I should have spent more time in the presence of God. And I would say this, no one has spent time in the presence of God and regretted it. Everyone who spends time with the Father, it changes something about the way they move that day. It elevates everything. And they come into a higher flow. The Word tells us In Isaiah, chapter 40, verse 31 says, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Notice this phrase, they shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Different seasons of life and different job descriptions call for different paces in life. Sometimes the plan of God has us running. Sometimes the plan of God has us walking. But we can run and not be weary. We can walk and not faint. But how can that happen? It's preceded by the first phrase of that verse. They that wait upon the Lord. What's going to happen? What's he mean by waiting upon the Lord? Spending time in the presence of God. So they that Spend time waiting upon the Lord, listening for what he would say to them. They that wait upon the Lord, look at this. They shall renew their strength. Now, the Old Testament was originally written in Hebrew, and the word for renew in the Hebrew means exchange. So we could read it this way and be correct. But they that wait upon the Lord shall exchange their strength. What's that mean? God's strength comes into them and they exchange their human strength for divine strength. And so, as we spend time waiting on the Lord, what happens? Something of an elevated flow begins to move in us. There is a strength that sometimes people have not spent time with the Lord, they have not spent time waiting on the Lord in the presence of the Lord. And sometimes their bodies can break down, sometimes their strength can break down and they go, well, I simply need to rest. Well, that may be true, but I will say this. There is a strength that even rest won't give you. It's just by being in the presence of God, waiting on him, spending time in his presence, that until some people make that adjustment, there won't come the strength they need. Because there is a strength, a flow of strength that only comes through his presence, that just taking days of vacation, taking days of rest, won't even supply for you. Because there is an elevated place of strength that comes from his presence. And so that, that lets us know that we can't just run and run and run and run and neglect the flow of his presence. Because in his strength we can do so, we can produce so much more in a short amount of time that all running and all the efforts that we put forth to accomplish the plan of God, that if we do it from the place of his presence, we can accomplish so much more in so much less time. Because it's his strength bringing it to pass. So they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings. As eagles notice this, they're going to come up into a higher flow. They're going to mount up above what? Above the natural, above the flesh, above the soul of man, the soulish side. They're going to come into the higher flow of operating by their spirit, that they're going to flow out of that deeper well on the inside of them. This is in line with what God said to me when he said, start every day in the Spirit. What's he talking about? Start every day by living aware of him, turning toward him, drawing on the One who abides within you. And what that's going to do, that's going to elevate your Life, it's going to elevate the strength. It's going to elevate the place you operate from and then go out the rest of the day and operate from that elevated place that you mount it up. Notice this, when we spend time waiting on the Lord, there's a mounting up. That means that we're not left to the low flow, but we come up into the higher flow of God's presence that he offers us and then we run from that place. We're not running from a low flow that will wear the body out, but if we will take time in his presence. There's something that George Mueller, who was a minister in the 1800s and he was located, his ministry was located in Bristol, England and he had at one time he had an orphanage and he had over 2,000 orphans under his career that he just believed God every day for their care. And one of the things he would write to other ministers, he would say, no amount of work will ever substitute for spending time in the presence of God. He said he started his day always in the presence of God because he said he would find himself in a weakened state if he did not take time in the presence of God first. Because doing work for God is not the the same as spending time in the presence of God. And if we're not careful, we forfeit really the higher flow, thinking we've got so much to do. I want you to know God is not a hard taskmaster. He will not expect you to run yourself thin, work yourself down to a place of weakness, working for Him. The first thing we do is if we get in his presence, spend time with him, become fortified by his presence, and then we, we find ourselves in that mounted up higher flow and then we go out and we function from that higher place. This is what George Mueller was talking about, warning especially ministers don't think that the work of the ministry is going to elevate you. It's being in the presence of God that is going to cause you to get connected to your spirit and operate from that higher place of the Spirit. So this is what Jesus was so mindful of. He said, don't you believe that I'm in the Father and the Father's in me. He's talking about a spirit exchange. He's not talking about something of his soul. He's not just talking about works of the ministry. He's talking about that he was mindful. Everything that flows out of me comes from a place of oneness with the Father. And that's why the results came about that's why there was so much good here went about doing, so much fruit that came out of his life. It came out of his fellowship with God. You know anyone who's in the fivefold ministry, I want you to know that that ministry is to be nourished by the fellowship with God. That that ministry is to produce from a place of fellowship with God, not just from a place of works. And no matter what you're called to, because every person on this earth has a call to something, not necessarily the five fold ministry, but they're to something. The way to fulfill what you're born for is to spend time in the presence of God. And then you operate and function and bear fruit from that place of oneness with the Father. And Jesus was very clear in recognizing that the works that are done are the works that the Father does through him. But they, they flow through him because he was so aware of his union with the Father. I want you to know that as we recognize who we are in Christ and who Christ is in us, it brings us into awareness. I am one with the Father. I'm not trying to earn something from the Father. It's not something I'm trying to achieve yet it's something I receive of. I receive from that oneness and that oneness with the Father, that He is the laborer and I am the co laborer. Listen, the Word tells us that we are co laborers with God. Know this. We are the co laborer, but he is the laborer. And we, we come up into what he's doing and we labor alongside Him. And really Jesus said, take my yoke upon you. My yoke is easy, My burden is light. Why is his yoke easy and his burden light? Because when we're yoked up with him, we are living aware of our oneness with the Father. We're understanding this. God's doing the work. And so that's why it's easy for us, because we're yoked up with the One who's doing the work. And he simply brings us into the flow of his own success. And so, you know, if there is a yoke of oxen, they're moving together. One, that yoke keeps them from moving independent as one moves, the other moves also. Well, even so, they would share the load or the work of that load that they're pulling or they're carrying. But with the Father, he does the work. And so as we stay yoked up with him, he's pulling the weight and he just draws us into his success. And so everything we do looks like success, but it's not. Because we're doing it because the Father in us is doing it. And we're yoked up with his plan. We're yoked up with his presence and we are yoked up with his anointing. And we're doing these things by the anointing of God. Amen. Well, I tell you, it's such a joy for us to share this with you and I would encourage you go to our website and for free. Completely for free. You can download some in him scriptures. Go to our bookstore page and you can download this smaller collection of In Him Scriptures or you can download The Complete Collection, 120 verses that draw on 229 different Bible translations. Feed on these. Find out who you are are in him. And as you feed on these, I guarantee you it's going to fortify you in such a way that struggling with a self image will be a thing of the past. It's not who we are apart from him, it's who we are in him that's the real us. And when we see who he is, we find out who we are because we're one with Him. Amen. Well, you don't want to miss next time. And until next time. Until next time, remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

This episode focuses on understanding and living in the sufficiency believers have in Christ. Nancy Dufresne’s tone is warm, encouraging, and filled with scriptural confidence. She weaves together scriptural teaching, personal stories, and practical application, maintaining her signature blend of faith and pastoral care.
Nancy Dufresne teaches that in Christ, believers possess “all sufficiency”—nothing lacking. The key to experiencing this is daily awareness, yielding, and invitation of the power and presence of God within. Fruitfulness in life and ministry flows not from effort, but from union and fellowship with God, drawing strength and wisdom for each day. Nancy’s exhortation: Start each day in the Spirit, feed on your identity in Him, and watch His sufficiency manifest in every area of life.
