There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now. I receive it right now from the top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the Healer. Thank you for taking the time to join us. And we're in the middle of our series called In Christ I Can and we have made some materials available to you. We encourage you to get hold of them. You can go to our website@jesusthehealer.org and you can download them completely for free. Go to the bookstore page and you will see what we call in Him Scriptures. And this is just a small sampling, but it is enough that you can just put it in your purse. Put it it's something that you can easily carry with you if you want to print it out or you can just leave it on your device. But then we also have the larger that is a complete listing of all the in Him Scriptures. And this is like 120 pages or something like that. But we have a friend of the ministry who took all of the all the in Him Scriptures and they referenced 229 different Bible translations and they pulled the best translations out of all of those and they compiled them and made them available to us so that we can offer them to you. So we ask you go to that website that download those for free and if you want to, of course print it off and have those with you and not only just print them off or download them, but feed on them. Because we see who we are in Christ. And I want you to know that when you recognize who you are in Christ, the struggle is over. You quit struggling with the things that used to be a struggle to you because you recognize that your everything that you need is is contained in him and he's in you. So it's not about coercing God to give something, do something, manifest something, but it's about us just receiving what he's already made available to Us. I want us in this episode to go through some scriptures and we're going to see how sufficient our kingdom is for us. We've been reading on in some. In some verses that I want to go back to today, but I want to go to some further verses. So Colossians, chapter 2, 9. This is the living Bible translation. Paul is writing. And he makes this statement. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body. So you have everything when you have Christ. Look at that, the largeness of that statement. You have everything when you have Christ. And you are filled with God through your union with Christ. He is the highest ruler in authority over every other power. So every other power is a lesser power because this one that we belong to, he is the greatest power. Well, I want you to know that when it says you have everything, when you have Christ, that means that outside of Christ is just you, but in Christ is him. Everything God planned for your life, he put in Christ and then put Christ in you. He authored a plan for your life and then he filled you with himself so that he could fulfill that plan through you. Don't try to accomplish anything apart from him, because in him is where your success is. When you draw on him, when you put him to work for you. Then we also have this. I want you to listen to how it reads in 1st Corinthians 3:21. The Living Bible translation says this. Paul is writing. He says, so don't be proud of following the wise men of this world, for God has already given you everything you need. He has given you Paul and Apollos and Peter as your helpers. So he's saying this. He's given us men of God in our lives that are, that are there to teach us the word of God and to take us into further understanding of what's ours in Christ. Then he goes on and says, God has given you the whole world to use. Notice not for the world to use you, but for you to use the world. Why? To fulfill the plan of God to bring God's best into place in this earth. And he says he has given you the whole world to use. And life and even death are your servants. Death isn't pushing you around. It obeys you. And it says he has given you all of the present and all of the future. So notice the past isn't mentioned. Why? Because the blood of Jesus has cleansed away the past. So all that's left is for you to take your faith in the word of God and write your present and write your future. Then he makes this statement, all are yours, and you belong to Christ, and Christ is God's. Look how large all of these statements are. That there is nothing that your life is going to call for that hasn't already been provided for you. Now it's just about us, but partaking of it by faith. Then I want you to look at second Peter in chapter one. This is the King James translation, but two Peter, chapter one and verse two it says this. Peter was writing and he made this statement. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God. So notice this. The grace and the peace level that we walk in can be not only increased, but multiplied. How is it multiplied as we come into the knowledge of God, who He is in us, what he's made us to be. When we come into that knowledge, we come into an increased flow of grace and peace. And verse three says this according as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. Notice this, another phrase. All things that has been given unto us, it pertains unto life and godliness. And how are we going to partake of all things he's made ours? The next phrase tells us through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue. So when we gain knowledge of who he is in us, who we are in him, that we are in Christ, then that activates all that he has made ours. Verse 4. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that's in the world through lust. So notice this phrase. He says that you might be partakers of of the divine nature if you're born again. The nature of God is in you. The divine nature of God is in you. But he not only wants you to be a carrier of the divine nature, he wants you to be a partaker of the divine nature. That that's the nature dominating you. That you're not being pushed around by the elements of this world, by the elements of the circumstances that try to surround you. But we are following. We are following the one we're full of. And we are living the best life that we are living according to all things that have been given unto us. And we see this, that there's nothing left out that your life is going to call for. He has given unto us exceeding great and precious promises. I like this word exceeding because it's saying this. Every opposition, every circumstance that comes against you, the power of God, the promises of God exceed them all that everything that's in you, in Christ exceeds everything that you're going to face. Any opposition is far exceeded by who's in you and what's in you. So verse four again says, whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises. But by these. That by these we might be partakers of the divine nature, not just carriers, but we're partaking of that which we carry. So we are partakers of the divine nature. And by partaking, look what happens. We escape the corruption that's in the world through lust. So that which trips up other people doesn't trip us up. Why? Is it because we're partaking of a higher flow? We're partaking of who we are in Christ and who he is in us. I want us to look now at 2 Corinthians, chapter 9, and we'll start reading in verse 8. Now this is the King James translation, 2nd Corinthians 9. 8. Paul is writing this letter and he said, and God is able to make all grace abound toward you. Look at this. All grace. Nothing of grace left out. What is that? Grace is God's ability, God's power, God's ability manifesting through you. God doing the work. So God is able to make all grace abound toward you. Grace is God's part, but faith is our part. It's faith that receives of the grace, or the ability of God to bring it to pass. So God is able to to make all grace abound toward you. What's this mean? That no believer has something more available to them than you do. Everything that belongs to one believer belongs to every believer. That one believer doesn't have access to greater. But we all have the same flowing through us and for us. And God is able to make all grace abound. Look at this. Toward you. Not just toward the pastor, not just toward the favorite preacher, but. But toward you. All grace abounds toward you. And why is that? What's the outcome of that? That you always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work. Look at all of these large words of abundance. It says that you always having. Do you know what? There's never, never to be a day that you think of yourself as not having. You can meditate on this. I always have everything that shows up in my life that needs a supply. I always have a supply. I always having. Look at this. Always having what? Always having all. There's nothing left out of the provision of God for your life. Always having all sufficiency. Look at this. In all things, even the things that seem overwhelming to you. Do you know what there is? There is more than enough in you to see you through to the other side of that. Always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work. So know this, because all the goodness, all the abundance is abounding toward you. You never have to pick and choose. Where am I generous? You can be generous all the time, every place your heart desires to be generous. You can do it because you always having all. Then I want to read 2 Corinthians 9, 8 out of the amplified classic translation. Listen to these words. It says, and God is able to make all grace, every favor and earthly blessing come to you. Look at this in abundance. In abundance. Not just a trickle, but an abundant flow of God's grace and blessing coming to you so that you may always and under all circumstances, and whatever the need, look at this, be self sufficient. That means that you're not having to run to the family for help. You are self sufficient. Why? Because of the one you belong to, the one who's in you. So it says, so that you may always look at this. And under all circumstances. What about all economic circumstances? What about all political circumstances? What about in the circumstance of any situation in your life? What about the circumstance when symptoms show up? What about the circumstance when unpaid bills threaten you? And you are to say this, I always and under all circumstances, whatever the need, I am self sufficient, possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. So he's saying there is so much flowing to you that you can't take it all in and you begin distributing it because your needs are so abundantly met. You know, in our system here in the United States, the government has set up some things, it's called the welfare system. And that's a help to people who are going through a certain crisis in life. Maybe something very dramatic has happened in their life and they're not able to really tend to their needs as they would like to. Well, the government says we'll step in and we'll be a help during that season. But I want you to know if there's a, if there's that help that we draw on for that season, we not need, we not need to have the mentality that that's always the place I'm going to draw from. Because God says here that we will always, under all circumstances, whatever the need, be self sufficient. Look at that. Not government minded. And too many times we have to break the mentality of the, of me leaning on the government for help, if that has to happen in a family for a short time, that's not a problem. But to think that that's your long term solution. God has a better way, he has a higher way. He has something that he wants to increase you so much that you don't need something else supporting you. You don't need family members supporting you. You don't have to go and put pressure on others to take care of you because you're putting pressure on the Word. You're putting pressure knowing that that Word will support you. And you can send all the pressure, the way of the Word. And the way of the Word will always furnish you in abundance. Notice this, it says possessing enough to require no aid or support. Look at this empowerment furnished in abundance. So you're not going to offend God when you have more than enough. You don't have to cap off the increase of God in your life by thinking, well I shouldn't have that much, why shouldn't you? God provided that much, why shouldn't you have that much? And you know, sometimes people have this idea, well, I don't have a problem giving to others, but I have a problem receiving for myself. I want you to know that still a mentality of poverty, even if you're generous towards someone else, if you're not generous toward yourself, that's still poverty thinking. And I want you to know that's not what God planned for you. That you be furnished in abundance. That's what belongs to you in Christ. So don't settle for something less than, than full abundance. And you need to, if I could say this, brag on God by how abundant your provision is in your life. It makes him look good. You know, when my kids were young, my husband and I had two sons and we would go to church. It mattered to me how they dressed. It mattered to me how they looked. It mattered to me how they were kept. Because people could look at my children and know what was going on in that household. They could see, why do the parents look nice but the children don't look nice. Well, I want you to know Jesus looks nice, but Jesus children need to be looking nice too. God doesn't want to be misrepresented by you not having your bills paid. God doesn't want to be misrepresented by you struggling when he. He is so, he is so capable, he is so able to take care of all of his children in abundance that he doesn't want us to diminish what he's made ours. Because the more we are really living the life he authored for us, the better we're making our Father. Look, I want you to know, when you have everything that you desire in your life to be met, it makes God so pleased. It makes him look so good in your life. So let's live as rich as he made us and make him look good. Because we are, in the best way, family on earth. When you belong to the body of Christ, we have the best Father and He will not leave our needs unmet. Amen. Now I want us to look at 2 Corinthians, chapter 3 and verse 5. It says this. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God. So know this. God's not putting any pressure on you. He says, I am the one who will be all sufficient for you. So within our kingdom is all sufficiency. That means we should never have to go outside the kingdom to have our needs met. We should never have to go outside the kingdom to have our health needs met, to have our family needs met, our financial needs met, our mental health methods. Our kingdom is more than enough. So we need to draw on the greater One who's on the inside of us. Because in that kingdom is sufficiency to care for all of his own children. God has more than enough to take care of us. We don't have to go to a lower kingdom, but we have to find out what belongs to us in Christ because He is our sufficiency. Amen. Our sufficiency is of Christ. And God put in Christ everything you're going to need for this life. Listen, I love it when Peter says, we have been given everything that pertains to life and godliness. So we have to change our thinking. Quit thinking and being impressed by. Look at all what the world has. What we need to say is, look what my kingdom provides for me. Look what God has provided for me. Look how abundant he has provided in Christ for me that there is so much in him that I have more than enough. I want you to know it cost Heaven everything for us to live with the abundance God provided for us. So we should not be dumbing down what God's made ours. Amen. But we should be living as rich as we are. But how are we going to do that? We have to put a demand on this kingdom that is ours. We have to develop our faith for it. We have to see ourself with it. You know, we have to. If I could say this for, you know, as young Christians, as young believers, and we're renewing our minds and we're not really recognizing all that belongs to us in Christ. God will put up with us going to the world to have some provision, to have some help. But as we see what belongs to us in Christ, that needs to shift, that we don't go to the world first we go to the kingdom first we go. And where is the kingdom? Jesus said, the kingdom of God is in you. So what is that? That everything God already planned, he put in Christ. Put Christ in you, so that at a moment's notice you can draw on and spend all that. Now, think of this. You'll remember when Jesus, during his earthly ministry, the multitudes were following him for several days. They were following him out into some rural areas and he was teaching them. And before he sent them back home from that convention, he. There were 20,000 men. So they're not counting all the women and the children. So you can imagine. Excuse me, there were 5,000 men. But. But if you were to count the women and the children, there's at least 20,000. Because where you see men, you see women, you see children, you see families together. And so there's a great multitude. And Jesus turned to his disciples and he said, feed them before they go home. They have no idea how are we going to get the resources. Well, they started thinking, well, if we go around and we ask people. No doubt they had asked for some kind of resources because a little boy offered, what was it, five loaves and two fish. How would they have known that he had it if somebody hadn't been discussing the need to feed this multitude? So notice this. All Jesus needed was a seed. All he needed was a starting place. So he took what that little boy offered and he joined his faith to it. He offered it to God. He blessed it. He looked up to heaven and it says that he blessed it and then he handed it out to the disciples for them to distribute it to the people. Now, you know it hadn't multiplied in Jesus hands because he never could have held enough in his own hands that could feed 20,000 people. But when did it multiply in the distribution? So what was it? He believed that as he distributed the amount he had, it would become more than enough. It would become something different than it was to begin with. But I love what one translation says. It says that the people. One translation said they took as much as they wanted till they were full. Notice this. They took as much as they wanted. It didn't say they Took as much as Jesus told them to take. Jesus put no ceiling on this distribution system. He didn't say, now listen, we got so many people here, just take a little bit. Don't take too much. He put no limits on the taking. He left it up to the people how much they wanted to take. And you know, there would have been some that would have taken more than others, but they had. Jesus had no problem with how much they took. He left the taking up to them. I want you to know it's up to you how much you take. It's. God puts no limits on how much you'll enjoy of his abundance. He will. You'll not offend him by taking much because he's. He's provided more than enough. And there will never be an end to the provision that God has for his children. So just know this, don't try, don't dumb down your taking, thinking, I shouldn't have that much. God provided more than enough because he wants you to have what represents Him. And I want you to know he leaves it up to you. If you want more, take more. If you're tired of not having enough, take more. And in your taking, always notice this. When God talks about our provision, he always talks about at the end of it, our generosity toward others. Don't just take enough for you, but take enough to be a blessing to someone else, too. When you're believing God for your finances, believing God for your flow, get more than enough with your faith for all your family needs, all your life calls for, but then take more so that you can turn around to somebody else who doesn't know how to believe God and you can be a blessing to them. Amen. I love something that E.W. kenyon made the statement. He said, since I've learned how to take by faith what God's provided for me, he says, I don't pray for myself anymore. When I need something, I just take what I need. He said, I spend my prayer life praying for those who don't know how rich God has made them. So when we see it's all ours, we're not asking God for anything else in the sense of he's already made it all ours, but our prayers are to just be spent helping those who don't know how to receive for themselves. So I could say this. Not only have a faith that takes enough for you, but take for others so you can be generous to. Amen. Well, we're able to come to you for one reason, and that's because of the generosity of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. They have sown this airtime to our broadcast as well as every other broadcaster you see on the Victory Channel. That's an amazing decision of faith that they have made. Episode: 985 | In Christ I Can, Part 225
Date: April 10, 2026
Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
In this episode, Nancy Dufresne continues her teaching series "In Christ I Can," focusing on the believer’s sufficiency and abundance in Christ. Through scriptural exploration, she emphasizes that everything necessary for life, godliness, healing, and provision has already been made available to believers through their union with Christ. Listeners are encouraged to renew their minds, rely on God's kingdom rather than external sources, and operate in generosity and abundance as an expression of faith.
Nancy Dufresne’s teaching is encouraging, faith-filled, and conversational. She uses scriptural authority and practical examples to equip believers, frequently prompting confession, self-reflection, and action. The emphasis is on what God has already provided, the believer's privilege to receive, and their call to generosity.
