There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the Healer. Come on in. We just want to spend this time with you around the Word. And know this, that every time we spend time in the Word, it pays such rich dividends in our life because God became an author and he wrote down his thoughts. That's why we feed on the Word. The life of God is in it. The power of God is in it. It rewrites the story of our life. And so we're so grateful that we had this opportunity to share this time with you. We're in the midst of a series that we've been on for a while now. What number did we say we're on? 3, 33 and 2 33. 233 episodes in this. In this series called In Christ I Can. And so we are so thrilled to share this with you and we have some resources that we want to get into your hands. They're completely free of charge. Go to our website@jesusthehealer.org go to the bookstore page and you can download a sampling of, of some of the in him scriptures. You can download them, keep them on your device, or if you want to, you can print them out and just have them so you can keep them with you. But we also have an enlarged version of the In Him Scriptures. And that's all the scriptures referring to in him. It's about 120 pages. And the thing that's so beneficial to this version is that a friend of the ministry compiled and went through 229 different Bible translations, pulled the best of those translations, put them into one document, and those are the ones that we're making available to you. So we invite you, get hold of those, feed on them and it will rewrite the way you see yourself. I want you to know A poor self image is completely annihilated. When you find out who you are in Christ and when you see yourself in him, there is no struggle with. With who he made you to be in Him. And we've been using in this series as our golden text, Colossians, chapter 2, verse 9. The Living Bible translation says, for in Christ there is all of God in a human body, so you have everything. When you have Christ, listen, there's none of God that has been left apart from you. Do you know even the fruit of the spirits that came into you when you were born again? Galatians 5, verse 22 talks about those. Those are the attributes of God, that God's own character, his own integrity, the characteristics that help make him up, he has made them part of you. That we have the nature of God, the life of God. There's nothing of him that he has withheld from us. And so it's about us becoming skillful at drawing on who he is. Now, how do we draw on the Greater One that's in us? By faith. That's how we put him to work for us, in us and through us. And this is the important thing about renewing our mind. We have to go to the word of God, find out what God says about who we are in Him. We have to discover that before we can spend who he is, before we can draw on the Greater One as we ought, we have to discover all he is and in us, for us and through us. And I want us to look at something here because like I said, it's by faith that we partake of who we are in Christ. I want us to go to First Corinthians, chapter three and verse six. This I'm going to read out of. First of all, let me read out of the Moffitt translation. First Corinthians 3, 6, the Moffatt translation. Paul is writing and he makes this statement. He said, I did the planting, Apollos did the watering, but it was God who made the seed grow. And then in verse nine, it says, you are God's field to be planted. Look at that. You are God's garden, you are God's field. And he gives us the seed of His Word to. To sow into the soil of our heart, the soil of our spirit. And as we sow that Word in us, then what happens? Things begin to grow. What is it? The Word begins to produce in our lives. The Amplified Classic says this in verse 9, 1st Corinthians 3, verse 9. The Amplified classic says, for we are our fellow workmen joint promoters, laborers together with and for God. You are God's garden and vineyard and field under cultivation. You are God's building. He's cultivating us. He's helping us to produce in line with him and his kingdom. We are not our own. We've been bought with a price to be his garden, to be his field. So that means listen when we call Jesus, not just our Savior. Yes, he is our Savior, but He's also our Lord. What's that mean? That we don't just have him as Savior, but we have him as Lord. And as Lord, he's going to want to have something to say about how we live every day. He's going to want to have something to say about where we go, who we fellowship with, what we allow in our lives. As Lord, we're submitting that to Him. And as we as allow ourselves to take that Word into our spirits, sowing that Word into our hearts, then we will start producing after the seed that's being sown. The Word is the seed. God tells us in His Word that the Word of God is the seed. God. God. God's Word lets us know what we can trust him for by what we. What we see recorded in the Word when it says that Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses. Matthew 8:17. Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses. When we see that in the Word, now we know what we can trust him for when we see Philippians 4:19. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. He's talking then, to the person who sows. He's saying that there's a harvest that belongs to you and that God will meet all your needs. Because of that Word. We know what we can trust him. For the seed of God's Word can accomplish such wonders that God wants all of the seed of the Word planted, not just a little bit of sprinkling of the Word. He wants His Word to find the fullness of His Word, to find its place in our heart. Because the seed is powerless until it's planted. The seed of God's Word won't produce for our lives until it's sown into our hearts. Why am I saying this? Because in Christ, all these things belong to us. But we have to plant in us the truths of who we are in Christ. The Devil comes immediately to steal the seed. Remember what the Word says, that once that seed is sown, the devil comes immediately to steal that seed. Why does he come immediately? Because he knows that if we have any experience with the Word that produces, we'll keep doing the Word, we'll keep sowing it, we'll keep watering it, we'll keep bearing fruit from that seed. And the devil wants to come immediately before we see any kind of productivity from that seed. He doesn't want us to know how well the seed of God's Word works. And so nothing can take the place of the seed of God's Word being sown in our lives. Now. Thank God for prayer. We need to pray. But I will say this. The seed is not prayer. The seed is the Word. We can't just pray and not sow the Word into our lives. Know this, that you must have a life in the Word that is equal to. To your life of prayer. You can't be lopsided and spend more time in prayer than you do in the Word or be. So just have the Word, but no time in prayer, in fellowship with God. We need both of these moving together. Because if someone just prays, prays, prays, and they don't have a foundation of the Word, they'll get deceived. But if someone just feeds on the Word, feeds on the Word, feeds on the Word, and they don't. They don't labor with God in prayer. Their lives won't produce what it should. They won't have the place of fellowship with God. Because you need the Word and prayer. And this is what keeps us sound. This is what keeps us balanced. Do you know when my husband and I, when we started the church that is now in place in Southern California? It's in Murrieta, California. We started that in 1991. For the first seven years, there was very little operation of the gifts of the Spirit in the church. Why is that? Because we were laying the foundation of the Word. We were giving it a broad, rich foundation. And then the Spirit could take us anywhere he wanted because there was a foundation of the Word laid. Don't ever promote a flow of the Spirit above the Word because you need them both. But the flow of the Spirit is most accurate and most productive when it's got a rich bed of the Word. So pastors, when you're starting a church, take time to lay the foundation of the Word. I'm not saying there won't be any operation of the gifts of the Spirit. But just know this. Everything that you're building in your life, it needs that rich, broad foundation of the Word. Then God can take you anywhere when you know what His Word says. The Spirit of God can use you in. In any way. When you're. When you're founded on the Word of God, prayer will not take the place of failing to sow the seed of the Word in your spirit. So make sure that you recognize nothing takes the place of the seed of God's Word. We can't just pray our way into faith. We have to sow the seed of God's Word because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. The Word is a revelation of what God is eager to do for his children. When we see what God has said is ours in the Word, he's eager to see that fulfilled in our lives. So when we have a revelation, we see the eagerness of God that we become a partaker of all that he's provided. It's a thrill to plant the seed in our spirits. It's not a hardship. I mean, it is a joyous work. My dad being a cotton and wheat farmer, he never lamented parting with his seed. He never said, oh, I wish I didn't have to sow that seed. Oh, no, it was a joyful thing to him to sow the seed. Sowing day was a happy day in the. In the. In the Chapman household because Daddy was always knowing, once I get that seed sown, there's a harvest on the other end of that. And so it is a thrill of a work to sow the seed of the Word in your spirit. Because this seed that we're sowing, it's. It's. It's imperishable. It will never rot, it will never ruin, and the harvest on that seed will never rot. Getting full of the Word makes it easy for you to stand your ground in the face of opposition. Now, there are some times that people, they. They embrace the Word. They're excited about the Word. Then opposition comes, and then they start backing off. They stop, if I could say this pressing. They start yielding up a measure of their victory. Why is that? Well, you're going to have to stay full of the Word so that you're not swayed by circumstances. When someone is swayed, it's a lack of fullness. So as you keep full, full with the Word, it holds you on course no matter what comes your way. You know, I grew up in southwest Oklahoma, and it was the plains of Oklahoma. It was farmland. You know what that meant? It was flat. There were no trees. If the. If the farmers needed to protect their crops, there would be. They would plant, you know, rows of trees to have a windbreak just to help protect the topsoil from Being blown off because we had so much wind. Well, if you were going to have a potted plant on your porch, on your, in your backyard somewhere, you better make sure that pot was full, full of dirt. Because if you didn't, you'd find that thing two miles away by the time the wind was done with it. And that's the same thing with the Word, that if you will be so full of the Word, no matter what winds blow, no matter what comes, no matter what storm, no matter what kind of flood, floods would come, it's not moving that vessel that's full. And I want you to know your place of safety is be full of the Word. Be full of that word that will produce God's best. So, number one, the thing that we're going to do, to have a faith that lays hold of all that belongs to us in Christ, number one, we are going to plant the seed. There is no such thing as bypassing this step, this priceless step of sowing the seed in our hearts. The next thing, once that plant, once that seed is sown and planted in our hearts, we've got to do something else with that seed. We've got to water it to keep it alive. You can't just plant a seed and walk off and be mindless toward the seed. You have to be aware of what that seed calls for. And so my dad didn't just plant cotton, he didn't just plant wheat and just walk off and leave it. He had to make sure it received proper watering. And so the seed of God's Word, it needs watering. In your life, we see this. How do we water the seed? We water the seed through repeated hearing of the Word, through meditating on the Word. The first time that you hear a truth taught and you've never heard it before, that's the planting of that. Of that truth. That's the planting of the seed. The next time you hear it, hear it taught, hear it preached, that's the watering of it. That's why we have such a benefit in this digital age that we're in that you can online watch a sermon and something be planted in you that you did not, you'd never heard that truth before, but when it's planted in you and, oh, it sounded, it felt so good when it landed. I mean, it sounded so good. And your, Your spirit was so satisfied and fulfilled when that's planted in you now you need to water that. What's that mean? Listen to that same sermon again. Keep listening over and over, because every repeated hearing is a Watering. And so I know this. There was one time years ago, I was in my 20s and I was having some problems with my back. And I remember this God, God started rebuking me for not. Not being active enough with the Word toward it. So there was this one particular sermon that dad Hagin preached. I loved this sermon. It was called calling those things which be not as though they were. And he would preach that sermon and that. That the truths of it and what he addressed in that sermon answered specifically what my need was. And so I listened to that over the next three weeks. I might have listened to that at least 100 times. I didn't just sow the truths of the Word in me that he was preaching, but I kept watering and watering and watering. And do you know, at the end of three weeks, I realized all the symptoms are gone. I never knew when they left. I didn't recognize when they left. Why was it I didn't just plant that word, I kept watering that word and that thing grew up and produced in my life. So, number one, you plant the Word in your heart. Number two, you keep hearing it, you keep speaking it, meditating on it, thinking deeply into it. Don't just. Don't have a shallow life in the Word. Don't just scatter and touch things, touch truths, just real briefly and then run on to the next truth. If there's one truth that you really need, you say, well, which truth should I be feeding on? Well, where's the need in your life if you're. If you need healing? Don't be studying things that aren't going to help you with healing. Feed on healing truths. Feed the direction of your need. And if you'll stay with that, and stay with it and stay with it and follow the Holy Spirit will lead you on what to feed on, what verses to hold to, what sermons to listen to, what books to read. Keep just filling up with the truths that water is that truth. And as you do, what's going to happen? First the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear. It's going to produce for you. So, number one, plant the seed. Number two, water the seed. Jesus said about the stony ground. The seed fell on the stony ground and said it had not much earth. So what happened? The sun came and it dried it up. Why did it have not much earth? It was no moisture around it that it could not grow. There was not enough earth to hold moisture. So the seed had no root in itself. If the seed is to grow, the ground must be kept wet. It must be kept moist. What's that mean? That we are keeping these truths in front of us. This is why some people, they say it's just taking so long to even see any kind of progress or manifestation for my need. Well, how wet are you keeping the ground? If you say, well, you know, I'm listening to the word, some increase the hearing because what you're doing, you're increasing the watering of that seed. It's because of the lack of constant watering that many of God's plants are withered instead of growing. Many of the trees that we've planted aren't growing in us as they should because they're not kept through constant watering. And so you can't just water something once, walk off and say, why isn't it growing? Keep it wet, keep it fresh, keep it, keep it well supplied. Amen. A garden is a place for growth. If things aren't growing, if we're not growing, something's missing in that garden. And we have to hear continuously and meditate on the truths continuously. That's what Joshua chapter one in verse eight says. This. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night. Let's say this, you shall water the seed day and night. That's exactly what it means. You shall water it. How do you water it? You think about it. You speak about it. You. You let the truths of this roll around on the inside of you. I love what I heard. One person, how they described it. They said, get in the story of the word and live there. That when you need a healing, when you need something, find someone in the word who needed what you needed or something that would compare to what you needed and said. Then put yourself in that. In that story. See yourself in that story. Well, how do you do it? That's really just meditation. You see the truths of that word working in you just the way it worked for them. And so we have to meditate on the word. We have to give it our attention. That's really what meditation is. It's directing your attention on something that's going to be your help and your deliverance. So In Joshua, chapter 1, verse 8, it says, this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate in this word, or water this word day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that's written in it, for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Now look at that. The book of Joshua, chapter 1, verse 8. This is the verse that shows us the law of success. What's the law of success? Speak it. Think it, do it. Speak the word. Think thoughts of the Word. Do what the Word says. This is the law of success. Did you know in this verse God's not mentioned? Did you know in this verse the devil's not mentioned? It's not about God. It's not about the devil. It's about. You're listed five times in this verse. And the Word is listed three times or referred to three times. What's it showing? The law of success is about what you do with the Word, what you're. How you're going to treat the Word that's going to determine our success in this life. It's not up to God. It's how do we treat His Word. What does. What place in our life does His Word hold? So learn to give yourself the habit of watering the seed of the Word. How can you do that? What about when you're getting dressed in the morning and. And just put the Word on and you just keep listening on some device. What about this? You're in the car, you keep listening to it. What about this? You're running errands and you keep listening to it. The more you keep the Word going in the wetter that ground is becoming. And that seed can thrive in that kind of an atmosphere, the seed of God's word. But if the seed that you planted is neglected, it can fail to produce as you know it could produce. So when God delivered his people out of Egypt, why did they not arrive? They didn't hold to what God said. God said, I have a land I've given you. It flows with milk and honey. They didn't hold to that. They heard that it was planted in them. But they never tended to that seed. They never watered it. They never meditated. You know what they did? They complained against what God said. They complained against their leadership. Complaining will destroy the seed. The complaining will keep the seed from producing. They never arrived at what God said to them because they had. They criticized the seed. Don't ever complain about the plan of God for your life. Don't ever complain against those gods put in your life. Never complain about any supply or provision. Well, this isn't enough. How come I don't have this need met? Do you know when Jesus wanted to feed the multitudes and the disciples brought to him the lunch of a little boy, five loaves, two fish. Jesus didn't take that and say, well, this isn't Enough. He found no fault with the seed he held. Every answer in your life begins with a seed. Every miracle in your life begins with a seed. Every healing in your life begins with a seed. Honor the seed. Don't complain against the seed. Don't criticize. Don't say, why is it taking so long? How come? Well, it's. It's because of how we're treating the seed. Not. Not because of the fault of the seed the seed will produce. But if you want to. You want an accelerated answer, then fill up with the seed of the word. Fill up with the watering on the. On that. On that seed. And as you do, it will accelerate the prosperity. It will accelerate, rather, the harvest on that. Now, we don't have time today, but we're going to be on the next time. We've been talking about to be a partaker of all that belongs to us in Christ, we have to have a faith. And where. What. What does faith do? It plants the word. Number two. It waters the word. We're going to come back to in the future episodes. We're going to talk about number three. It cultivates the word. It cultivates the seed of the word number four. Then it puts in and it harvests that seed. So I wanted to give you those four steps, but we've only talked about them about two of those in depth. But next time, we're going to address the other ones. But I want you to see this, that we should never leave all that's been provided for us in Christ unaccessed simply because we're not doing our part toward the seed. Amen. Well, there's one reason that we're able to come to you on this broadcast, and that is because of the generosity of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. They made a decision that none of the programmers on the Victory Channel would purchase the airtime. They sow this airtime to us, but really they're also sowing it to you, the viewer. And so I'm going to ask you, if you're not already a partner with kennethopel Ministries, I don't really think you have to pray about it. I think you need to just honor what you're receiving. And one way of doing that is become a partner with Kenneth Copeland Ministries. You know, it's honorable to sow back into the place that's feeding your life. And so I don't really need God to speak to me that I should flow in honor. I can choose to be honorable toward the place that helps feed my life. So if you're not already a partner, Become a partner today by going to kcm.org and you can follow the prompts there and sign up to become a partner. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.
