I apologize that Roger Waters flaked on us today. Big fan of his. I was really hoping to do the interview today. He. I had a weird feeling about it. So get in. Look, so when I woke up this morning, I had an 8, I got an 8:15am flight back to LA from New York. We were in New York this week doing comedy. And, and I wanted to get. And I wasn't going to come back, but they had scheduled the Roger Waters. I'm like, well, out of respect for Roger Waters, the legend, I'm going to get up at 5 in the morning, which is actually 2 in the morning, Los Angeles time, get, go to JFK, get on a plane, fly home, come home, prepare the show and interview Roger Waters. And, and it's about 9 11, which is something I also care about. So I wake up at five in the morning, I look at my phone, it goes, oh, your flight has been postponed till 4pm And I'm like, oh, they're gonna cancel this flight. Okay. So I immediately get on the phone, I call American Airlines. I know, I'm like, hey, my wife and I are supposed to be flying on this flight. It just got pushed back to 4, I gotta leave. So they go, okay, well, we have a 7:15am so now I'm supposed to be there at 8:15. You know, we have a 7 an hour earlier. And, and it doesn't fly to LAX, it flies to John Wayne, which is in, where is that, what it's called Santa Ana. And I'm like, okay, it's a much longer drive home, but I'll do it right. So I get in a. I call the car immediately, we pack like maniacs as fast as we can, run downstairs, get in the car, we go. We just make it to the airport, we get on the plane, we fly home. Okay, Six hour flight home, okay, I get in the Uber, I get here, but. And then he's not here, and then he doesn't show. And I, when I, when I, as I was, when we're driving the airport, I told Steph, I go, stephen, we didn't have Roger Waters here. I would not have, I would not have changed my flight. I would have just waited till 4pm I would have went to Bryant park, which is lovely. God, And I would have had breakfast because I've been having breakfast there every day. Oh, my God. Have you ever been to Bryant Park, Kurt?

They have guys. Not only is it the cleanest park I've ever been in with the cool. They've got three restaurants in the place in the park.

They have the cleanest public bath. The bathrooms that are cleaner than at the Hilton Hotel. That's all clean.

I'm not kidding. Because they have guys in there working there 24 the whole time. And not only did is the park clean, they have guys. As I was sitting there drinking a coffee, guy came by to sweep up the leaves.

Or 40. I'm sorry, 40th. It's right by the public library. It's in the back end. It's in the. Behind the public library. And I was like, I've never seen anything. And so I just turned this off. I go. This is living proof where there's a. If there's political will, they can do government works. It's the. It's the. It's beautiful park. It's clean. It's. They have cops everywhere. Not cops, but special cops just for the park. So they have special garbage crews. The garbage is constantly sweeping, cleaning. The bathrooms are beautiful. These three open air restaurants, it is. It is like a Shangri La in the middle in midtown. I've never. I didn't know that was ever there. Bryant Park. I've heard about Bryant Park. And you know what, Kurt? Back in the 80s, they used to be called Needle Park.

Because that's where all the people go to shoot up. And then somehow the government was like, hey, let's make this nice. And they did.

Anyway, it was. I was nervous as hell. We did about 10 takes, and at the eighth take when we were doing coverage is when I finally settled down and I felt like I was really in it, but it was too late.

Yeah, that's how it usually goes. But anyway, you do seven, eight takes of things. It's not a lot of takes.

No more takes. The merrier for me. You got to get. You got to not care. And then you could just get in anyway.

I just do. I mean, you get good stuff, I think.

Yeah, I'm not a great actor, so it takes me a long time to get into a groove. But anyway, Tucker Carlson made a lot of people upset because what do you do now? He came out and he told the truth that, hey, we've been fed a bunch of propaganda about Muslims, and let me play it for you. And this is what's got got. Everybody's in a knot and let's listen. Did you. Did you see this, Kurt, by the way?

No, I heard about it.

[Jimmy Dore]

I heard. I heard about it too. Okay, Very. Here we go.

We should not be surprised that the end result is genocide. We shouldn't be surprised. Like, this has been coming for a long time. Israel has completely changed. I feel sorry for Israel, but the Israel that I first visited decades ago bears no resemblance to modern Israel.

Is the United States complicit?

[Tucker Carlson]

Of course we paid for it. We made excuses for it. We made it possible. And there are weapons, obviously, of course we're complicit. That's one of the reasons I'm upset by it. That's my country. These are my tax dollars. This is my reputation. This is the moral authority of the nation that my ancestors built. So, yes, I feel very implicated in this and enraged by it and not primarily enraged at the Israelis, who I think are delusional for a bunch of different reasons. I don't think that's an Israeli specific phenomenon. We felt a little bit of that after 911 when people bought the lies about 9. There were many lies about 9 11. But the net result was to convince Americans that they were under siege from global Islam, that there were a billion people trying to kill them. I felt this way myself and Many times I said on television, the problem is Islam. The problem is Muslims. Like, they all want to kill us. They're all crazy. They're all in this lunatic suicide cult created by Muhammad in the seventh century. And I believe that. I was hysterical. I believed that. Now, that's not true. Nothing about that is true, but I believed it. So it's a little harder for me to judge Israelis when they're like every Arab. Christian or Muslim, it doesn't matter. Arabs are by definition committed to the extermination of Jews, and we must kill them before they kill us. Like they believe that.

Now, there's a couple things in there I want to say. First, it's classic Carl Jung psychology. So what Carl Jung says is when you hate somebody, you are projecting that thing about you in your unconscious that you hate onto that person. He realizes that. He goes, I can't hate the Israelis for thinking that the Muslims are trying to kill, because I thought the same thing. So he doesn't now hate them. He made that darkness in himself conscious. He integrated it into his conscious mind. So when he sees it outside himself, he doesn't hate it. He relates to it and. And has sympathy for it. So that's amazing. That's such. That's. That's called personal growth. That is amazing. Right. Now, this. The second thing there is that I know people who still think like that. I know people who I love who still think Muslims are incompatible with the Western world and that they did 9 11. Now we know who really did 911

was most likely Israel, and it's us and the Saudis.

[Jimmy Dore]

It was. It was the CIA, it was an inside job. It was the south, it was the Saudis, it was the United States, it was Israel working together. So nothing they told you about 911 is true? Nothing they told you building seven, the

passports in the rubble, as they told them?

[Jimmy Dore]

Right.

That would you expect me to believe.

So that building was brought down in a controlled demolition, just like Building 7 was. You're going to tell me a building that wasn't even hit by a plane several hundred yards away from the Twin Towers fell in it to its own footprint in sympathy because of Colombo.

Jimmy. But just the passport thing alone. Nobody needs to explain any engineering to me after that?

That's such an obvious lie that I don't know how I didn't hear at the time or.

Yeah. So the next day they said they found a passport from one of the hijackers on the street, okay? The whole. Everything was turned to dust. But they found the passport. It survived.

There's like thousands of people missing that. They couldn't find their IDs or bones or anything.

They were pulverized. The whole building was pulverized. So that's the. So this. And the second thing is, he's telling you that there's been a propaganda war on your mind. Because as Michael Parenti taught us, they don't. The establishment doesn't care if you have health care. They don't care if you have a decent house. They don't care if you can buy a house. They don't care if you're in debt. They don't care if you go bankrupt from health care. They don't care if there's a million homeless people on the street. The only thing they care about is what you think. And so that's why the propaganda came to pretend that Muslims and Christians hate each other and that they're natural enemies. They're not. They both have reverence for Jesus. Muslims. Do you know who doesn't? Zionists. Zionists hate Jesus.

And there he is talking about, we've been fed a bill of goods and that's why we went into Iraq, and that's why we went into Afghanistan, and that's why we did Libya, that's why we did Somalia, that's why we did Yemen, that's why we did Syria, and that's why we just did Iran. Because we've been fed a bill of goods. Zionists has poisoned our mind to make us the Christians and Muslims to fight. So they wanted Christians to go kill the Muslims, to fight their wards for them so they could do the Greater Israel Project. So that's what he's revealing there. And that's not good. Under Bill Clinton, the US slashed tariffs on subsidized American rice, flooding Haiti and wiping out local rice farmers in Haiti. Clinton himself later admitted, yeah, it may not have been good for some of my farm. It may have been good for some of my farmers in Arkansas, but it has not worked. It was a mistake.

While the Dominican Republic has served as a base for anti Haiti operations and mainland greater relative stability and resources and have maintained greater relative stability and resources. So they use Dominican Republic as a staging ground to go in and overthrow.

Without equivalent recent US overthrows of its government or direct crushing of progressive leadership, no comparable recent US military overthrow of worker crushing intervention hit the Dominican Republic in the same way as Haiti's 2004 events. Haiti's trajectory reflects heavier external interference preventing recovery from popular policies Alongside historical burdens resulting in stark economic gaps. The Dominican Republic handles crises with more capacity while Haiti suffers compounded underdevelopment from repeated US backed destabilization. So you think I explained it well? You think that anybody with a functioning brain would understand? Oh, I didn't know any of that. That's crazy. I didn't know that. That's really a big difference between Dominican Republic and Haiti. Well, this is the response. Ideology prevents the fundamental truth from being acknowledged. The Dominican Republic is a success because of the Dominicans, while Haiti is a failed state because of the Haitians. There is a law in the Dominican Republic saying you cannot cut down trees and that the law, that law is obeyed. In Haiti, the trees are cut down. Culture matters. And. The history of Haiti's indemnity is not taught as part of education in France. And aristocratic French families have largely forgotten that their families benefited from the debt payments of Haiti. President of France Francois Hollandais would eventually describe the money paid by Haiti to France as the ransom of independence. And in 2016, the Parliament of France repeated the 1825 ordinance in a symbolic gesture. And I just wanted to remind you what Michael Parenti, my hero, says. The third world is not poor. You don't go to poor countries to make money. Most countries are rich. Only the people are poor. Ordinary people pay the cost of empire. These countries are not underdeveloped. They're overexploited.

Let's listen to what he had to say because I, I know exactly what he's going through. I went through it in 2016. I was a Democrat all the way up until 2016. I would not support the Republican Party. There's no chance I would support the Republican Party. Not gonna support the Democratic Party. I Don't know what I'm gonna do. But at this point, you know, how could you support. How could I or any American voter support a political party that's not loyal to the United States, that puts the interests of a foreign country above those of its own citizens? Like, that's, you know, it's not possible to vote for people like that. And I'm not going to. And I think I voted Republican my entire life. I worked at Fox News, CNN, MSNBC. I've been a consistent defender for 35 years of the Republican Party. I mean, very consistent defender. But there's no defending this because it's immoral. And it's exactly the opposite of what a political party in a democracy is charged with doing, which is representing its own voters, its own citizens, its own nation. And they're not doing that. So, no, I'm out. And if I'm out, then I think a lot of other people are out. I would not support the Republic.

He's right about that. And here's what I said. I came to a similar conclusion after the Democrats rigged their 2016 primary and cheated Bernie Sanders, which gave us Trump. They then rigged the next two primaries in a row, completely skipping a primary altogether in 2024, which again gave us Trump. Democrats like to blame Theo Vaughn and Joe Rogan for Trump because they know it's their own fault and won't allow their own supporters to choose a candidate that represents them but force a warmonger who represents Wall street down their throats f the unit party. So I felt very good about that. Tucker came out, and now we're on the same page. Here's what I got. I have something here. Tucker Carlson says he's done voting for Republican Party and basically urges his audience not to support them because it would be immoral. When socialists end up taking over the country, all fingers should be pointed at Tucker. I like Shalom, and I can't say that last word because I'll get in trouble. Even if it's without a hard R, I can't say it. Shalom says the fingers have been pointed at the GOP and Trump for criticizing Americans. Let me start over. The fingers have been pointed at the GOP and Trump for criticizing American voters, for holding them accountable on their own campaign promises. They are the ones destroying the country. American voters are the ones who have been trying to save it for decades. There's no good reason why the mandate has not even been started by now. We will. I don't know what he means by that. We will not accept the lesser of two evils. Another time. This is our country, not the politicians and not Israel's. I would say shalom. The N word is. Is kind of on it one day. Kurt, any response to Tucker Carlson quitting the. It's a. It's a. I hope he starts another party. I hope it's him. I hope it's Marjorie Taylor Greene, Thomas Massie. I hope they start a third party.

I don't believe in America or democracy. So, like, hey, guys, it's great you're having this thing. The whole thing's fake, and it's. It. Look, I know everybody thinks everyone should know better, but I know firsthand that everybody does not know better. And you'd be surprised what people do not know better about. Okay? And. And it's a real shock to people to find out everything is a lie. Like, they don't want to hear it. So everything I see from Tucker I think is commendable because most people where he is couldn't. Couldn't accept these truths or say these truths. They can't. You know what I mean?

I don't know. Hopefully it figures out the whole thing's fake, but you're not going to. There's a voting that's going to fix it. Okay?

I don't think voting is going to fix. I'm all for a third party, don't get me wrong.

Now, do you understand that we have all that disappearing money went to some independent country that's under the ground or I don't know where the hell they keep it, but you're not in that, okay, that big club they talk about, Maybe it's in another dimension. Who the hell knows? I could give a shit about any of this. I would.

I, I am, I don't. I, I'm all for a third party. If a third party happens, I'll, I'll try to help. But the problem is they're going to take corporate money. They're going to take money because they're going to say, well, we got to fight against them. We got to have money to fight against them. And so they're going to take that money, they're going to take the billionaire money. And that's the problem. What we need to have is workers shut down the machine and demand publicly funded elections. So you don't have billionaires controlling politicians. You don't have APEC and Israel controlling politicians. You don't have corporations control. You don't have banks controlling politicians. You don't have the tech pros, the military, industrial complex, insurance companies, big pharma, because that's what's wrong with our country. Capitalists sit above the government and, and which is why the economy doesn't work for the citizens. In China, the government sits above the capitalists and the economy actually works for the people. They've taken 80 million people or 800 million, how many out of poverty in the last 30 years. They did it. We're putting people in poverty. It's going the exact opposite way. And so I'm all for a third

and I hope Tucker does it, but they're going to take corporate money, and that's what's wrong with the country. If we had publicly financed, that's the only thing that could, that could save this country. If not, we're going to keep spiraling. We're going to keep printing money, we're going to have runaway inflation, we're going to have deflation, we're going to have all kinds of horrible things, and your money's not going to be worth anything.
