What a bizarre thing we've created. Now with your hosts, Adam Thorne might.

Either be the worst podcast or the best one.

One go.

Enjoy the show.
Host 2
Hey guys and welcome to another episode of the JRE Review. This week we are joined by comedian Brandon Battik, good buddy of mine. Known him a while, he's helped out in the pod for a long time, been a huge supporter of the team and he's also the host of Disturbing the Priest podcast. Well, I'll put a link in the bio, go check that out. It's mostly what, like heavy metal.
Host 1
Heavy metal. I have comics on occasionally. A lot of like fun skits too.
Host 2
Love it, love it. It's a good show. I enjoy it. And I'm not even like a huge heavy metal fan. I just enjoy it. It's like set up well. So this week we are reviewing Kash Patel. Now a lot of people wanted to review this one with me. I think it it revved some people up and yeah, it was Interesting. Like, who to pick for it. But wanted. I wanted Brandon's take on it. So here we go. What was your overall sense of Cash?
Host 1
Like, so, you know, I'm glad I finally have a use again for my tinfoil hat, because I cannot wait to dive into this episode, man. Like, it's just crazy what. And we discussed this before airing, but it's crazy what Joe's podcast has become for these wealthy elites, for, you know, the government. It's become almost like a propaganda machine where people feel like they can go on this podcast, be like, don't worry, everyone. Everything's cool. Don't worry about it. Where, yeah, like, Rogan definitely pushes them a little bit, which is great, but I feel like he might not understand what these people are trying to get out of his podcast instead of just having, like, a hangout conversation. There was some obviously great, valuable information on this. I think the fentanyl thing was, like, really, really interesting.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 1
And I really didn't have any kind of knowledge on, like, the war going on with that, like, because you hear fentanyl, you know, I was never sure where it originated from. Why is it being pedal into the US Now? It's like, okay, that's crazy, you know? And of course, the. The COVID stuff, which is, like, kind of just funny how he worded all that, you know? And then obviously, you know, you got Russia gay, and the whole Epstein thing. Wild will be this massive thing we'll have to dive into because it's just fucking bananas.
Host 2
Yeah. They covered so much of, like.
Host 1
It's just insane.
Host 2
The big elements of stuff. It was just. Yeah, I.
Host 1
But the contradictions. Like, it's like, what? Like, check all. Like, check in with everybody before you're. You're saying this information out. Because it's like, regardless. And. And I might be jumping ahead a little bit, and let me just say this. It's like. It's just so funny how Cash is saying all this as if it's fact. And then there's like. There's people saying, you know, that the opposite's true, that there's tens of thousands of hours of footage out there.
Host 2
Yeah, it's.
Host 1
It's just like Pam Bondi, for example, saying there's tens of thousands of hours of this, of footage. So it's like, okay, so one is obviously lying. It's not. You don't even have to put on your tinfoil hat for this stuff.
Host 2
Dude, he had. He had cameras in every room of, like, multiple houses. How would he not have tons and tons of video. Like, something stinks. And, you know, don't get me wrong. I'm not throwing the baby out with the bathwater like his fentanyl stuff. It was like, yeah, I'm following this. This makes sense. This is reasonable. I'm inclined to believe that to be true. When he said that he calls every family and. Or the chief of anyone that dies in the line of duty, police officer, whatever. Like, great move. Awesome. You know, even some of the withdrawal of Afghanistan, I'm like, okay, I could see that. But a little bit of the. I mean, let's. Let's just jump right into the Jeffrey Epstein bit, right? This is what revved everyone up the most. So he's basically under the impress. Like, he believes, from what he knows, that Jeffrey killed himself. Now, the way he lays it out is very reasonable, I think. Like, he does have experience with prisons. It would be a tricky operation. Now, did enough people with enough money want him dead? Definitely, yes. But I don't know enough about the ins and outs of what it would take to put that operation on. However, I also understand the motivation to cover up that that was done because, one, it makes law enforcement look terrible. And you know, that we can't even stop those things. That's, like, a big worry for, like, the American people to know that there are groups out there that can just kill people whenever they want to. So I get why it was downplayed, however. Also could have been a suicide as well. It's just things like the tapes. Why haven't we seen it? He's saying they have it. Are they ever gonna release it? And even if they do, who knows these days? Is it AI? Is this gonna be a blurry, scrambly AI video of some dude hanging himself? I'm like, that's pretty fucking convenient, though. All of a sudden, you found the.
Host 1
Tapes, and his cellmate, you know, magically vanished before. It's like. It's just so ridiculous, man. And it makes me think. It's like, yeah, it's like, you know, you. And. And he has a point where he's saying, okay, what do you think? People just broke in and. But it's like, it. And the truth here is maybe something I just don't want to accept. It's like, does the F.B. what? What controls everything? Yeah, you know, the FBI? No.
Host 2
No.
Host 1
The government. No, probably not. Money.
Host 2
Money.
Host 1
And. And when you look at this Epstein list, you know, it's like, yeah, it might be a fake or whatever, but when. When Jimmy Kimmel is on it and when he was approached about it. And Eddie Bravo talks about this. Kibble's like, it's a fake. It's. Chris Tucker was on. It was like, yeah, I was actually on the. On the flight list, but we were going to Africa. It was a diplomatic thing. So it's like, okay, maybe there is some truth to this flight list here. But at the same time, it's like, I don't even know what the fuck to believe anymore.
Host 2
Right?
Host 1
It's so hard because there's so many different voices saying so completely different. So many completely different things.
Host 2
Yeah, well, they've muddied the water too much, right? And that's a great tactic if you just want to confuse the narrative completely. You know, just throw in so much that by the end you take it away. You're like, I don't even know if up is down anymore. Like, I don't know where I am with this story. You know? And just the fact that he's like, do you really think, as the head of the FBI, that I'd be hiding or, you know, covering up any videos of people doing things to children? And I'm like, bro, if they're a billionaire or a king or like the Saudis, yes, I fucking do imagine that you would cover that up.
Host 1
Yeah, there's. There's totally no evidence of the FBI ever lying.
Host 2
I know.
Host 1
Like, come on, dude. Like, what. Do you even know what podcast you're on? It's like, people come on this podcast and they don't realize, like, the. The Joe Rogan fan base, they're like, mainly like conspiracy guys. Like, it started as a conspiracy podcast, dude.
Host 2
People were shouting into their radios. Bullshit. No doubt. No fucking.
Host 1
It's ridiculous. It's ridiculous. It's like, what are we fucking doing, man?
Host 2
And even if it is true, then sell us on it, because you didn't do that. I was not convinced. All it made me think is, oh, they are really working hard to cover this shit up.
Host 1
Yeah, like, exactly. You know, and him just kind of flip flopping because in 2023, he said that the reason it hasn't come out is become. Because billionaires are lobbying Congress night and day to keep this shit classified. That's what he said on record. It's not AI, you know, there's footage that's dated and now he's.
Host 2
And that's actually. I believe. I believe that that's part of the truth because.
Host 1
Because that makes sense. There are obviously like. Like Epstein obviously shook hands and made deals with a lot of powerful people.
Host 2
He.
Host 1
He obviously Partied with a lot of powerful people.
Host 2
Bill Gates.
Host 1
There's no conspiracy behind the fact that there were extremely important people involved in this Epstein thing.
Host 2
Yep. Exactly. Bill Gates wife left him.

Sick2H24 product analysis because of something that happened in that sphere. So to believe that there isn't some videos out there and who are they worth more to? The FBI releasing them to the public or the FBI holding onto them and saying, hey, Mr. Gates and everyone else that we have videos of, you're going to play our little game when we need it.
Host 1
Yep. Yeah, exactly. And it's exactly.
Host 2
It's all about leverage. This is J. Edgar Hoover's, you know, whole thing is he. This is how he rolls. I mean, yeah, I do want to.
Host 1
Say at the point we're recording this, which this podcast maybe came out four days ago. Yeah, the top comment on the episode.
Host 2
Oh, yes.
Host 1
Didn't it kill himself button? And it has 43,000 likes.
Host 2
I love that. God, the Internet is undefeated, dude. Undefeated. 43,000 likes. It's so perfect, dude. Talking about things that actually do kill people. The whole fentanyl thing. Right?
Host 1
Yes.
Host 2
This is, this is one bit where I really felt like, okay, I'm following this. This is reasonable now.
Host 1
Right?
Host 2
You could also say, oh, he's just trying to get us to hate China. Which is like, all right, whatever. But we do know that China makes those precursors mostly. They're sending them out. Not many other countries are having, like, massive fentanyl deaths. So it is kind of focused towards the US for whatever reason. And 100,000Americans a year is. It's a lot aged 18 to 45. I mean, that's a way to really hit the population, because if in their life, they would have had. Who knows, what's the average kids, like, 2.4, you know, that suddenly becomes a lot more people over a few generations, and it's just across the board, devastating. And the fact that they're not making a lot of money on these chemicals, it's. It just seems real suspicious to me. They just.
Host 1
Well, the fact that they're being shaped like gummy bears, that's the whole idea of China, you know, pretty much making it and sending it to Mexico to be pedaled into the US Is crazy information.
Host 2
Yeah, like.
Host 1
Like, he's saying fennel isn't a. Like, a drug OD kind of issue. It's a chemical warfare thing.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 1
Like, it's. It's a weaponized attack.
Host 2
It's poisoning. Right. It's like, most people think they're getting something else. That's what they're going for. These aren't, like, cocaine overdoses. It's like, okay, you OD'd on the drug that you thought you were doing. That's what happens. You do too much, it's gonna happen. You can do it on alcohol, but if you take a sip of alcohol and then all of a sudden your heart stops because there's some other compound in there that's a whole different ballgame. That's poisoning. That's like getting roofied, you know?
Host 1
Exactly. And he's saying the amount that can kill you is, like. Oh, the tip of, like, lead on a pencil.
Host 2
Tiny. It's terror. Yeah. Very scary, dude.
Host 1
Horrifying.
Host 2
Supposedly, like, if there's a bag even open around you, it's the equivalent of, you know, those people that are, like, really allergic to peanuts? You just open a bag, like. Like, they only need to smell it, and they go into shock. Well, fentanyl, is that for everyone? If a bag was open and even a few little wisps get up your nose, like you're having. Cops have had, like, real issues with it trying to just even transport it.
Host 1
I can imagine, man. And it's like, we also don't know what's going on behind the manufacturing of the Shrug and how much more powerful it's becoming, because we've seen its rise to power recently and, like, how the dosage that it can kill you has become smaller and smaller. It's kind of terrifying.
Host 2
Yeah, well, it's like 10,000 times more, I guess the word is effective than, like, morphine. It's something crazy like that. Maybe a thousand. So you need a thousand times less of it to get, like, a similar anesthetic thing happen. I just heard recently that they've made something even more powerful than even fentanyl.
Host 1
Yeah.
Host 2
Yeah. And the idea is that it's all for anesthesia. Like, if you use these tiny amounts and it's. And it's all prepared correctly and, you know, it's about getting that desired effect for surgeries and other things. There's also people that can't go under or be sedated because they're allergic to different chemicals. So it's good for them to have a variety. The problem is you're making the nuclear bomb of drugs. It's too dangerous. You sprinkle it over whatever, and it's like you just. You wiping people out. If they can get a hold of this, I don't know.
Host 1
And now it's killed, you know, how many people at this point.
Host 2
I don't know how they're gonna be able to slow that down. I mean, honestly, like, Trump's approach with, like, how he's really hammering the cartels and doing all the. I. Yes, I understand Trump's, like, an extreme dude, and he's pushing it, and that's upsetting a lot of people. But if you're looking at it purely from a results standpoint and a national crisis of, like, okay, 100,000 people are dying. Let's do everything we can to stop it, you got to be real aggressive with that. Like, it's the only way you could do it, I would imagine. Now, I know there's a lot of blowback for lots of other reasons that maybe aren't super beneficial or, like, you know, fuck up people's lives. Like, all this ICE stuff that's happening in Cali, you know, there's plenty of families pretty upset about that, and. But it's kind of like the baby in the bathwater. They're like, we don't have a lot of time. We want to change all this stuff. Boom, it's. It's all in and.
Host 1
Right. And. And it's like. I also want to add, like, Cash saying how, like, Mexico is peddling a lot of this stuff is. And there's significant evidence that Americans are also bringing fentanyl into the country. You know, I feel like it's not as black and white as. A lot of people are making this fentanyl crisis where it's Just one cartel, one drug organization bring this stuff in. There's so much of it. People have to realize there is so fucking much of this and people are bringing in from all over.
Host 2
Well, you gotta.
Host 1
You can, you can. I can definitely agree that, like, the main supply of it is, you know, we're seeing it from China, going to Mexico, coming into the States, but a lot of it is also flown into the country, unfortunately.
Host 2
I believe it. Yeah. And back to your point, and what makes that very logical to me is Americans are less likely to be stopped. They're going to have easier access to get across the border. So you throw enough money that way and. Yeah, why would they not bring it? Fuck it.
Host 1
Turn them into mules, you know, Fuck it.
Host 2
That's it.
Host 1
Like, that's. That's what it's turning into at this point.
Host 2
No doubt, man. It's just. It's so sad because it's like, it's. It's not like really anyone that is dying from this is like, even wanting that drug. That's what's gross. Not that dying of any drug is good. Like, it always sucks, but the fact that it's like, it's just designed to poison the product, you know, or make it way more dangerous. It's. It's just so nefarious, dude. Yeah, it's a. Poison is behind it is even. Even more sad.
Host 1
It really is. And like, yeah, obviously, like, don't do heroin and all this, but it's in. It's. There's laces of it and weed, coke. It's really just terrible how much this thing's spreading. It's like a roofie almost for alcohol.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 1
We just put a little bit in and you're dead.
Host 2
Yep.
Host 1
It's. It's so wild, man. It. It's really unfortunate. It's crazy because, like, I've talked to people who are doing coke in, like the 70s, because I talked to a lot of bands and stuff. They were like, doing hard drugs way back in the day and they're saying, like, they're like, yeah, man, even if we wanted to do this still, there's no way we're touching it. It's just drugs are more dangerous than they've ever been. And that's weed. That's everything.
Host 2
Yeah. But let's map out this week's amazing destinations and travel tips.
Brandon Battik
Honestly, Will, I didn't plan any trips, but I did switch to T Mobile with their new family freedom offer.
Host 2
That's not the itinerary we're following.
Brandon Battik
Well, I'm departing from AT&T and embarking on a new journey with T Mobile. They paid off my family's four phones up to $3200 and gave us four new phones on the house.

Cmintmobile.com it's crazy and it's really unfortunate.
Host 2
I bet when you talk to them and you're like, well, what was it like in the 70s? They were like, it was all pure as hell. Nobody was cutting anything. You could snort it all week. And yeah, that, yeah, you don't get a lot of sleep.
Host 1
But we do lines all night. We're doing quaaludes. We're doing till the sun comes up. We're not worrying about, oh, is there this, you know, drug, secret drug that's in this? Thank God, like, you know, weed's legal now.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 1
Because it's like, and it's like even, even blow. You know, I, I've had friends who've done blow. You know, being in comedy, it's something that a lot of comics have done. It's always around and you know, allegedly, allegedly in la, it's very rampant for, or you know, whatever your opinion on that is. But it's just like, it's crazy that you know, you're, you're juggling with it as it almost, as almost if it's like heroin at this point, it's just not worth it at all to even try it. If you're doing it to even keep doing it. And I guess that's a good thing. But at the same time, it's killing a lot of people and it's getting into people's systems. You know, people buying street weed. It's killing people that way, I've read. Which is insane to me.
Host 2
Well, but that's the problem. It's like certain people are just not gonna stop doing drugs. Like, it's always a bit of a gamble anyway. And, yeah, it's put off the more sensible people in that group, but it's not like sensible people are doing a bunch of cocaine oftentimes. It's the wild animals, and they're just out there, you know, trying different things. And what's awful, too, is, is like, for a lot of people, there is a stage where they try something new and it probably isn't something they keep doing. You know what I mean? It's like, pretty rare that anyone hasn't smoked a bit of pot. It doesn't mean you're a pothead. It doesn't mean that you'll continue to do it as you're an adult. Maybe it didn't work for you, but you're gonna try it, like some people will. And the fact that there's now this possibility of, like, these people that are exploring and trying things can just die. It's. It's a whole different game, man. That's. That's something I really am excited that they're cracking down on. I'm not gonna lie.
Host 1
For sure. I'm excited too. But my fear is like, how big of a picture is this? And, like, is the issue as black and white as Cash is saying? You know, because I, like, I believe him in certain areas in this podcast, but at the same time, it's like, should I question literally every single thing he's talking about?
Host 2
Yes.
Host 1
To this whole Epstein thing?
Host 2
Yes, you should. Because he's basically a politician. Any politician you should question like that dude, you know, not to say none of them can be trusted, but I want to watch him closely. You know, I want to treat them like I would someone babysit my kid. I'm going to do my own background check. I'm gonna keep my eye on them. You know, they've really gotta earn my trust before I start taking everything that they're saying to be fact. And that's why I think it's so great to do these three hour forums. It's like, well, maybe this is what he believes to be true across the board. Maybe there wasn't an agenda for him, and he's just like, well, this is what we found. I'm gonna repeat it. And we're all blinded because of social media conspiracy theories, and we can't work our way through it. But I don't know, I just got a bit of a sense of it, and I felt like he's still a corporate man, you know, and those that he knew when to shut the fuck up. And that brings up the biggest bombshell of all, which I love the timing on this. It almost seems like that was planned out. Trump, Musk feud in the middle of the episode.
Host 1
Just beautifully poetic.
Host 2
Beautiful.
Host 1
Just beautifully poetic. And it's. And this is a tough thing to talk about because, like, Rogan has aligned himself with Trump and Musk.
Host 2
Yep. So he's definitely middle. He's real tight with Musk, for sure.
Host 1
Yeah, yeah. But he even criticizes Musk in this episode.
Host 2
Oh, yeah. He's like, dude, take his. Take his phone away. But that's the difference, though, right? Rogan, think what you will of him. You know, he knows he has different people's respect, but he's still, even today, talk shit about Trump when it's appropriate and when it fits. Here he bag on Elon, and that's his friend. You know, he's like, he's just more likely to tell you what he really feels about something. And I didn't get that feeling from Cash. It's hard to do. I get it. He's got a lot of games that he has to play, but, you know. So basically the tweet was Musk is like, Trump's on the Epstein list. That's why we don't release it.
Host 1
Well, have a nice day.
Host 2
Yeah, yeah, have a nice day. Dude, what a crazy. It's so wild, dude. I couldn't have been having more fun. When I saw this few kickoff, there was something about it that I was just like, oh, my God, this is better than television. This is.
Host 1
It really is. It really is. You know, it's like. And then Donald Trump being like, you know, Musk was on ketamine the whole time. He's a fucking idiot. It's just great. Like, it's just. It's so entertaining.
Host 2
Well, to be fair, so fucking entertaining. If there's one thing that kind of surprised me and why I think this is a bit of a 4D chess game that they're playing. And I'm not trying to give them too much, much credit, but you can't put anything past Elon. I think he is a very smart person, even though he seems very wild. And this wildness and all these tweets, I think is like. Is the similar cover that Rogan gives himself when he's like, no one should listen to me. I'm just a comedian. It's like a bit of a get out of jail. It's like Elon will say so many crazy things that he can throw something else out there. And we're just like. It comes at us so fast. We're just willing to be like, ah, that's fine for whatever. He's just having a rough day. But Donald Trump didn't come back at him in the same way that he comes back at most people for a lot less. And that's very interesting to me. That's very interesting. And I don't know what the long play is. I'm too stupid to figure that out. I'm not even going to pretend to take a guess. But I think. I think there's something else going on. This is like. This is like a card trick. There's a bit of misdirection they're having. You look at the left hand, some shit's going on in the right, and I don't know what the hell it is.
Host 1
Yeah. And it's like. And I. This might be, you know, with the whole LA Riot thing going on right now. And I think that does feel a little bit like a distraction, even though it's like there's. That's a whole can of worms within itself. But it's just so funny how Cash Patel is just like. Yeah, it's. There's, like, no footage at all. The crime scene, we only found, like, a condom wrapper and some Chinese takeout. You know, it's really. Nothing happened. And then Musk is like, the current president of the United States is in the Epstein file. It's just like. It's crazy. It's like you have back to that thing we're talking about where, like, every side is telling a different story. Every. Yeah, who the fuck do we believe? And it's like. And at the same time, it's like, you know, I find that's an interesting point you bring up with the whole dynamic of, like, Musk versus Trump, where, like, he's not really treating Musk like he would any other person, where Musk just dropped a fucking bombshell. You know, if it's fact or lie, it's still fucking terrible to have someone say that about you, dude. Imagine in the government, yeah. You know, that has everyone's Social Security numbers. Who's like, such a. He was. A lot of people were calling the shadow president.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 1
And he's fucking saying all this shit. It's crazy. It's like, I don't know what the fuck to think anymore. And Musk is saying time will tell. And I'm not sure if I even believe that, because for me, you know, and people on Rogan have said before that this whole Epstein thing don't even think about it anymore. I do kind of think that all this information, all this evidence is just buried.
Host 2
Yep.
Host 1
Buried, destroyed. I don't think any of this information's coming out. I think this whole flight log thing that's on archive.org I think that's like, kind of good evidence because there's been some people on that list who've confirmed they've been on the flight.
Host 2
Yep.
Host 1
Rfk, you know, for. For ex. Yeah, there you go. But at the same time, it's like, it's crazy how so many different sides are saying we have 10,000 hours of footage and there's all these women in it and all these. All this child porn. And then, you know, Cash Patel saying, even if we, you know, did have footage, it's like, why the would we put that stuff out? Because we don't want to revictimize these women. And it's exactly what Tim Dillon was saying where it's like, dude, like, fucking, like, edit them out.
Host 2
Yeah. Like, do you realize how much footage.
Host 1
How much, like, technology we, like the fucking FBI has? We can't do that.
Host 2
Tim's rant on Patel being on Rogan is some of the best two minutes of. Let's map out this week's amazing destinations and travel tips.

Host 2
He's like, you're dressed like you just played squash. I don't believe a fucking word that you're saying. You're a liar. There's tons of, like, Tim went off and it's brilliant. It's almost like it is still funny because it's Tim, but, like, the mastery of Tim Dillon is like, sometimes it's only a little bit funny. And it's mostly just this, like, kick to the nuts Reality check. That's, like, so brutally honest that you're just like, oh, my God, genius. Like, I was kind of thinking that, but I wouldn't say it. He does that so well. And I think. I think in that short clip, he really sums up. I gotta find the clip and I'll put it in the bio for anybody listening. I'll find it and put it on there. I thought it was so good, but, yeah, it kind of sums up the feel of the whole pod, the whole conversation for me. I mean, of course, he stepped away from the Elon Trump thing a little bit. He had to be like, I know my lane. I'm staying out of this. But he's right in the mix. He's the guy that's supposed to be releasing those files. And then that said. And he quite cleverly worked around it. He knows how to speak. And there was a bit of misdirection, and then he focused on, you know, kind of the negativity of social media and the potential harm it can cause. And, you know, he kind of skirted it, but I don't know, man. I don't think Joe should have dropped it. It was too big of a thing.
Host 1
Yeah, it was too big of a bombshell. And it's like these guys have to realize these. These, you know, people in the government and these billionaires have to realize, like, being on this podcast is not good. You know, look at what happened when Zuckerberg was on it, when Zuck was on it. All the comments are like, you're a lizard. You're a fraud.
Host 2
Eating a lot.
Host 1
And he was. And he was. He's like, the whole. The. The great clip of, you know, he's like, yeah, man, I do bow hunting.
Host 2
Oh, that was it. That was where he Up. He should.
Host 1
Joe's like, what kind of bow. What kind of bow do you have? He's like, you know, the one with the string? You know, it's like, you know, you're a fucking. We caught you. You're you're trying to. You're a fucking wolf in sheep's clothing. And I feel like that's what a lot of this is. It's either that or, hey, guys, it's all okay. Stop worrying about this shit. It's all going to be okay. You know, it's bullshit.
Host 2
You. You want to grow out with Rogan, you better come. You better come honest, genuine, and you better know what the fuck you're talking about, because he's going to ask a question. You know, in fact, the jiu jitsu thing was, like, really actually a legitimate good attempt. Should have just stuck with that. And then being like, I don't know shit about hunting. I'd love to go with you sometime. Like, don't try and pretend like, what are you. I feel like before he went in there, he was handed a. You know, how to connect to Joe Rogan and his audience, like, top 10 bullet points. And then he had to bring up Beau, and I'm just like, what are you thinking? You know, it's.
Host 1
And he's. It's so. He's trying to, like, be a chameleon, you know, he's bringing up all these. These, like, alpha bro. All these, like, topics, and it's like. And I think, like, you know, going back to Cash Patel, it's like. Like Tim Dillon said, it looks like he's. He's coaching, like, his son's, like. Like, college football game or something with how he's dressed.
Host 2
Tracksuit and it's.
Host 1
Yeah, the tracksuit. Like, he's just smoking cigars the whole time. It's like, dude, like, you're. It's just crazy to me that, like, this is all in the open. It really is. It's. It's like. It's like they're teasing us, and they're just, like, making fun of us. That's what it feels like to me. And just, like, the idea how he's like, oh, I'm not in the lane of this. It's like, dude, you couldn't be more in the middle of the fucking road on this topic.
Host 2
Yeah. Yeah. You are literally the person that stands between the two sports cars and starts the race. Like, what are you talking about?
Host 1
You might as well be wearing a bikini at that point.
Host 2
Yeah. Yeah. You are the absolute referee. He should be in a bikini, holding up what round it is. It's like, yes. It makes no sense to try and step away from that. I mean, to be fair, he didn't have a lot of time to kind of prep for like, whoa, what is that? But it's also like, you need to be genuine on Rogan's show. And this is why of all the powerful, rich, whatever people that go on, it works so well for Elon because, you know, he's just his own kind of weirdo. He's definitely, he's definitely not trying to impress Joe. I mean, maybe a little bit, like, just as friends.
Host 1
I think it's two sided for sure. I think they're trying to impress each other.
Host 2
I think so. But I, but I do think that he's very much him. Right. He's not coming on trying to pretend that he, you know, knows martial arts or he's into all of Joe shit or. I mean, he, he just. Like the first time he came on, he just. Well, smoking weed was actually very interesting. That was probably the biggest moment in podcasting up until that point, I would imagine. And it was wild. It showed us a lot about him just being like, I don't really give a fuck. I'll do it. I'll do what I want and we'll figure it out.
Host 1
And why Trump put him in the position where I kind of saw this coming from a million miles away.
Host 2
Oh, the fight.
Host 1
Cause he's gonna. Yeah, he's gonna say whatever the fuck he wants.
Host 2
Yeah. It was only a matter of time that one of them blew up.
Host 1
Right. Because they're two very different people.
Host 2
Yes.
Host 1
Love or hate, Elon or Trump, like, you gotta at least admit they're two very, very different people. This was bound to happen. And also, like, you know, Elon Musk on Ketamine and everything. It's like.
Host 2
But if it's real. Right?
Host 1
That is true.
Host 2
I still wouldn't be surprised if there's like this really interesting makeup event. And then we're like, wow, Trump's really maturing. And like, and now they come together to, like, make something else work. I mean, I just, I think something's gonna happen. I can't see it. You know, it's almost like I'm staring at those Magic Eye pictures. Remember those old pictures where you have to go like, cross eyed and then you see a pirate ship? It's like, I don't know how to see the thing yet. I can't figure it out. But I'm staring at this, like, squiggly picture. But.
Host 1
But my fear is when I cross my eyes, I see a mushroom cloud.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 1
You know what I mean?
Host 2
That's a reasonable.
Host 1
I don't know what the is this is turning into.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 1
You know, and the Then the whole Ukraine going on at the same time. It's like, there is so many things. It's, it's so hard to focus on one thing. It's like, one day it's the were. Was every celebrity in Hollywood a pedophile? Next day is fucking, you know, is Ukraine going to get nuked? Yeah, it's like, what the. It's like, this isn't even real life, dude.
Host 2
I was terrified when I saw those, when I saw that fricking airfield, those multiple airfields just getting destroyed by those drones. Like, think how disrespectful that is. Right? The fact that Ukraine destroyed so many of their bombers and spent like, I don't know, a couple of thousand dollars on drones. Like, seriously, I mean, it makes it so much more disrespectful. Not one Ukrainian person died. Didn't need to. He just flew those fucking little things in there and blew it all up.
Host 1
I was like, Xbox 360 controller, dude.
Host 2
Putin must have been so pissed, right? And this isn't like pro Putin or pro Ukraine. Like, just looking at it from the standpoint of whatever. It's like Ukraine doesn't have the army that Russia has. Like, you've got to do some shit like this if you're a war with someone. Also, you're really stirring up a bear. To be fair, the bear's already attacking you, so I don't know what you need to do there. But I was just like, I don't know how much closer to drop in a nuke like the world has been since the frickin Japanese nukes we dropped.
Host 1
It's, it's really starting to feel like the Cold War. It really is.
Host 2
Much hotter version.
Host 1
Yeah, the warm War. Because it's like, you know, I shouldn't laugh.
Host 2
It's not fun.
Host 1
You see, like, you know, Zelinsky or whatever being like, yeah, Russia doesn't have on us. We're, we're way better than them. We're, you know, our war tactics are way better. We're going to kick their ass. It's like, dude, do you want to get your ass handed to you? It's like Putin just, he's a button on his desk that can end this war in two seconds. It's, it's just, it's crazy to watch this. And then once that happens, what the, what, what's going to happen? How, how is the world going to react to that? Yeah, what's going to be the next step after Ukraine gets n. Dude, Like, I, I, I feel like it's going to be like one day I'm going to wake up and it's just cod zombies. Well, that's what it's gonna feel like.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 1
Like it's, it's just crazy. The, the tension between, you know, a potential, you know, with the cold, like of this Cold war situation going on. The. We're learning about the fentanyl stuff. Even just like kind of looking back at this, the whole Covid origins, which we didn't touch on in this podcast where he was talking about COVID and how it started and the COVID up with Fauci and everything. It's like all this shit. It's like they're.

It's like, what the. Should I be paying attention to what, what is a crazy revelation? It's like, it's so overwhelming as just like a citizen of like America, you know, or just like probably anyone of the world at this point. It's like, what the. How am I supposed to process all this?
Host 2
I don't know if you can. I mean, back to the Russiagate thing, even so that was like clearly government collusion. It's been proven. These guys still hold strong that it was possibly real, even though it's been proven to be just complete bullshit. They use the media to do it. They really push that narrative. How Trump even survived that, I have no idea. The same as the Hunter laptop. It's like again, proven that it was real, it wasn't fake, it wasn't Russian misinformation. People are still somehow managing to stand by their commitment to that. And it happened right before an election and they downplayed it and they contacted Mark Zuckerberg, who. That was another thing on Rogan's show when he was on that people were like, bullshit, you're a liar. The fact he comes on, he's like, we're never fact checking anything again. And with no way we're doing it our way and no one can tell, and it's like, bro, you already did it. Like, you're not in the same league as Elon. Elon's like, that sounds like bullshit. I'm buying Twitter, and no one can tell me what to do.
Host 1
And these people fucking hated Trump.
Host 2
Yep, Hated Trump.
Host 1
And now they're coming on the podcast being like, you know what? When he got elected, I was depressed. And then I got dinner and the waiter was like, hey, he's pretty good. And I'm like, you know what? Maybe he's pretty good. And here we are. And I'm like, you know what? He is pretty good. It's like, what the fuck is happening?
Host 2
Yeah, the only convincing version, the only convincing version of that that I've seen is Bill Maher going to dinner with him. So it was Kid Rock, you know what I mean? Because he came back and it's like, dude, if there was anyone you can't win over, it was going to be built. And he goes, honestly, he was. Look, I talked to a lot of people. He fucking listened. We talked about stuff. I talked to tons of politicians. He was engaged. He took some jokes, he took some shit. He goes, there's two versions of this man for sure. And he had no reason, very little reason. I'm sure he got more hate and lost more fans than he gained. But one thing I think he did that was great and he's very good at is being genuinely him. Like, to him, that was the truth. You take it wherever you want to. He's rich enough. It's like he really couldn't give a fuck. And it was interesting. I mean, I'm not saying it changed any opinions I have about Trump, but it was a good example of somebody, like, analyzing a situation and giving us something that I can believe in. And again, back to these politicians that are all full of shit, you know? And Elizabeth Warren with her light, like, Biden was so sharp. And even. Even that super liberal podcast is like, seriously sharp as you. And he's. She's like, trying to shut him down. I'm like, you're fucking lying. Like, you are lying. After this, we should not trust you at all, like, you're a liar.
Host 1
And now too many people are lying to the point where I can't even distinguish the two.
Host 2
Right.
Host 1
I really don't know who's telling the truth anymore. And it's really, it's really upsetting.
Host 2
It bothers the hell out of me because I hate the fact that the older I get, the less I like believe in the institutions and the politicians. Like I was like always, you know, growing up. Like, you just kind of in, in the mindset of like, well, the adults know what to do, you know, the grown ups know what's going on. The politicians, they know how to keep it together and, you know, they keep us safe. And like, the more I think about it, I'm amazed anything works half the time. And I'm not trying to be too cynical. Like, I love my country, I love my city that I'm in. I think I support it. You know, I think that there's gonna be great things in the future. I'm excited to raise my daughter and show her all the awesome things in the world. But yeah, there's also a lot of questions for sure.
Host 1
And you know, to build off what you're saying, the reason I'm sad is because I love this country.
Host 2
Right.
Host 1
You know, it's not because I hate this country or what. Like, it's because I love this country.
Host 2
Those people stop it. Like go live somewhere else.
Host 1
Exactly.
Host 2
Stop it.
Host 1
Exactly. Grow where it's like, that's why I invest, you know, all this time into speculating, into being updated with politics and policies and everything going on with world affairs. Because I love this country and I don't want it to like, be a fucking crater. Be the next, you know, COD zombies map. I want it to be fucking nice.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 1
Like, I don't want it to go to shit.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 1
And it's just like I don't, I.
Host 2
Don'T want to be part of the generation that let the next generation down, you know, And I kind of feel like some of that's happened to us because like, look at buying a house right now. Like when my parents were in the 80s, they didn't have almost any money and they were able to buy a house. They had almost no money. There was just systems in place. Houses were reasonably priced for whatever, you know, like metric you want to throw at it. And now it's like we're getting priced out. We're all of a sudden becoming like, you know, they cramming us on planes. The whole experience sucks. Used to be like peanuts and Meals and watch a movie. And now it's like, pay 50 bucks for your bag and squash in there and stand in this line. Now it's like, go buy this house. Well, that's impossible. You know, minimum wage is like, whatever, 15 bucks. And it's like, how do you buy a $300,000 house on that?
Host 1
Well, it's like, you know, it's crazy, because before Trump, when Trump was getting elected, I'm like, okay, will egg prices go down now? I'm like, you know, asking questions like, did Tom Hanks fuck a kid? You know, is ketamine in the White House?
Host 2
Right.
Host 1
Like, it's, like, so fucking crazy.
Host 2
Yeah. Yeah. We went from eggs to, like, pedophile cabals, and you just like, wait, what? Hold on. We shouldn't be even having to process any of this. I want to go back to eggs. Also. Prices did come down, and I'm happy about that.
Host 1
That is great.
Host 2
I don't know how they. I think it was. I think it actually had something to do with them killing a bunch of chickens because of, like, avian flu or something, and that's why the prices went up. So they were inevitably gonna go down when they got more chickens. I don't know.
Host 1
I'll have to look into that, because I did not know that they actually did go down. That's actually really great.
Host 2
One thing I want to end on with this is the law enforcement stuff, the trends. If we'd take him at face value, he's saying this could be the lowest homicide rate ever. I would imagine that's a percentage because there's a lot more people now than in the past. So. But that's great. That's incredible stuff. However they're doing that. Love it.
Host 1
Great.
Host 2
You know, I did like what he was saying about calling all the families. You know, I mentioned earlier. I think that's a great move. I don't know if other FBI directors have done that. To me, that's a big deal, you know, and it's a tough job out there for those guys. Tough job for sure. Yeah. I want it to be safer, just like you're saying. I want it to be safer.
Host 1
Safer for just also makes me think, like, how many fucking people are. Is he calling? Like. Like, that's a lot of people. Like, in terms of, like, the population of America, it's like, yeah, it might be, like, the lowest rate or whatever, but, like, at the same time, it's like, there's still, like, you know, a lot of people dying from this shit.
Host 2
Yeah. But it's it's police officers too.
Host 1
That is true. And it's also like, what does that do to someone at the same time? Like, it's like you watch the thing of like, you know, the soldiers telling, you know, the family that their, their son, husband was killed. I can't imagine the toll that does to like, have to deliver that like multiple times a day. Like, that would fuck me up personally.
Host 2
So in 2024, 147 law enforcement officers died in the line of duty. 64 FBI officers says, yeah, killed. And then, well, I don't know what ODMP lists. Oh, it's just a certain list. 165. So yeah, still a lot of phone calls, you know, and that's probably rough. Pretty difficult to do. And God bless him, I'm glad that he does it. But yeah, overall, I, I still have some questions. I don't know if I really trusted a ton of what he said. There were plenty of bits that I did. But also, what can we really expect from the head of the FBI? You know what I mean? It's like, aren't they always supposed to be a little bit kind of guarded and secretive? It would make sense.
Host 1
It's their job to cover shit up.
Host 2
It's their job. Right? That's really, that's the point here. Let's map out this week's amazing destinations and travel tips.

Host 1
Fucking look away. Everything's fine.
Host 2
Oh great, bro.
Host 1
All good.
Host 2
Any final thoughts?
Host 1
I am excited to see the backlash of this podcast because it's still Happening. The ripple effect is still, you know, it's still rippling, I guess, as you would say. And it's really interesting to see what everyone's saying about it. And I cannot wait to see this footage because he's saying, you're gonna get it. There's shit out there. You're gonna get it.
Host 2
Dude, I wouldn't put five bucks on that happening. I wouldn't even bet that little. It would be a total waste of time.
Host 1
We'll see what happens. Like, I agree, but I want to at least. I'm trying to be a little optimistic.
Host 2
I guess, but I mean, I hope we do.
Host 1
You're probably right.
Host 2
Yeah.
Host 1
Like the most we're gonna get is some ass blurry camera of a. Yeah.
Host 2
Or to be. It'd be heavily selected. They pick the least powerful people that, you know, that everyone can scapegoat and blame to take more eyes off people like Bill Gates or whatever else. I shouldn't keep saying that my PC is about to crash.
Host 1
Oh, no.
Host 2
Yeah, I feel like he's gonna send me virus immediately. Yes. Stephen Hawkins. Yeah, easy to. Easy to put it on him because he's already dead. That's probably how they do it. They just pick people that are already dead because then it's like, oh, well, it's their legacy and whatever. But it'd be some bullshit. It'd be carefully curated bullshit. And it's. It's not giving me a ton of confidence, honestly, I have to say. But I will say what is giving me confidence is having you on, bud. This was awesome. We're definitely doing more pods. I hope you enjoyed it.
Host 1
Fuck yeah. Loved. Loved it. It's a. It's awesome to finally debut on the pod. Adam, always a pleasure talking to you.
Host 2
Yep. Love it, buddy. And to everyone listening, thank you so much. Go check this out and let us know your thoughts. It's a wild one. Cheers, guys. Talk to you later.

Joe Rogan Experience Review Podcast - Episode 449: Review of Kash Patel Release Date: July 30, 2025
In Episode 449 of the Joe Rogan Experience Review Podcast, hosts Adam Thorne and his co-host Brandon Battik delve deep into the latest episode featuring Kash Patel on Joe Rogan's widely popular podcast. This detailed analysis not only breaks down Patel's discussions but also explores the broader implications of the topics covered. The hosts aim to provide a comprehensive understanding for listeners who may not have tuned into the original episode.
Brandon Battik, a comedian and host of the Disturbing the Priest podcast, joins Adam to review Kash Patel's appearance on Joe Rogan's show. The episode with Patel touched upon several contentious and high-stakes topics, sparking intense discussions among the podcast's fanbase.
[02:05] Host 2: "Love it, love it. It's a good show. I enjoy it. And I'm not even like a huge heavy metal fan. I just enjoy it."
One of the primary discussions centers around the notion that Joe Rogan's podcast has evolved into a platform leveraged by powerful elites and government entities, potentially serving as a modern propaganda machine.
