or the best one. One go.

Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Hey, guys. And welcome to another episode of the Joe Rogan Experience Review, joined today by my buddy Brandon. How you doing, bud?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
What's up? Great to be here.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah, good to have you here. This week we have. Oh, the legend that is Jim Brewer.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Love this dude.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
He's great, isn't he?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Yeah, as a metal head. He's opened for Metallica a few times. So has he. Really awesome. He has, yeah. And he's pretty funny. A lot of conspiracies in his head. Famously. Every time he's been on the show, it's been really just like, whoa, really crazy stuff. And to get into kind of the fan reception here, a lot of people had that impression of like, all right, we get it, like, relax, because some of his conspiracies are like really out there. But I found this episode to be actually pretty good and pretty tame. You know what I mean? I feel like a lot of the things they touched on were like, yeah, like that makes sense. Like, there's a pretty good possibility this conspiracy you're talking about is true. Because this is the world we live in, Adam. I think the only people who aren't eating good are flat Earthers.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Right.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
But you never know. In a month, there might be a new Epstein file uncovered where it's like, hey, have you been to the ice wall yet? Like, who. Everything's coming true. It's. It's crazy. But a lot of people who did like this episode did praise Jim for just being really authentic here. And that's something that definitely came off on this episode, for sure.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
I feel like the Bigfoot people are still being left out, too.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
That's. Yeah, exactly. That's. You're talking about me. Yes. Yeah, I feel very left out, unfortunately.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
You'll have your time.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
It's. It's coming. It's coming. You know, I think Epstein right now is sharing a cell with Bigfoot, wherever he is.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah. Well, first off, talk about Epstein still alive. Maybe.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Let's get into it.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Come on.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Let's just start right away. They start right away with Epstein. Now, let's just. Let's just get this out of the way. Do you think he's alive or not? What percentage would you say? Is it a 50? 50.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
You know, this is a 50%. Realistically, this is a lot of. Where I joined Sam Harris's camp of logic, because really, where he stands is with that type of thinking and why he doesn't often go down the route of conspiratorial rabbit holes is he's like, you know, the most likely explanation, you know, is the narrative that already exists. It's like the thing that is said to have happened is what happened.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Right.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Because everything else is more likely to be far fetched, Even though it's fun to think about and there could be some level of plausibility. But realistically, think of the levels that would need to go in to get him out of there and hide him and put him somewhere else. Sure. Is it possible? Yes. Are there things that are starting to line up? Potentially, but in my mind, it's low. Okay, it's low. It's like maybe 25%. However, in this case, and everything that does seem to revolve around the Epstein files when it comes to conspiracies alone, as conspiracies go, this one does seem to be a bit of an outlier because so many things are really bizarre and often have been coming. Very true.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
So say we go over some of those things. Let's go. Really? Do you. 20%. You said 20%. 25.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Maybe 25, but with an asterisk.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
So I'm at about 85%.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Oh, damn.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
So let's talk about it. Let's just. Let's just talk about it. Okay. And so here's some crazy evidence right here. So in the Epstein files, they did scan some of the lined paper that was like, on his desk, I guess, and it's just a bunch of scribblings. He had terrible handwriting. And there's just a bunch of like, random notes everywhere. And one of the notes says, jail out equal 10. Huh? What? What's that? Jail out equal 10. What does 10 represent? August 10th, weirdly enough, when his body was found. Huh. What the hell does that mean? So there's also evidence that the FBI went after a prison guard at the facility that held Jeffrey Epstein. So here's the whole thing. It's a four chan thing. Every conspiracy leads to four chan, right? Good ones. So commonly used by whistleblowers though. Forchan. And on a political board, a day before Epstein's arrest, a user posted, don't ask me how I know, but Epstein died an hour ago from hanging. Posted 40 minutes before any coverage. I believe this was scrubbed from the Internet, but there's so many screenshots of this going around. And then an anonymous user then added to the original message in a thread right after saying, not saying anything, Please do not try to dox me. But last night, after 0415 count, they took him medical in a wheelchair, front cuffed, but no, not one Triad nurse says they spoke to him. Next thing we know, a trip van shows up. We do not do releases on the weekends unless a judge orders it. Next thing we know, he's put in a single man cell and hangs himself there. Here's the thing. The trip van did not sign in and we did not record the plate number. And a guy in a green dress military outfit was in the back of the van, according to the tower guard who led him through the gate. You guys, I am shaking right now, but I think they switched them out. This was taken down. And like I said earlier, there is evidence that the FBI went after a prison guard. So why would the FBI go after a prison guard? Potentially from maybe whistleblowing here. Now let's keep going down this rabbit hole. All right, so the Epstein files definitely has a lot of information about Jeffrey Epstein's accounts.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yes.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Right. Emails. Also his. His YouTube channel, Littlest Jeff One. Maybe not the most original name. Maybe he's talking about his penis. I think that's probably the case with littlesjeff1 as a username. So they found out that is his YouTube channel because he purchased a movie, right? Probably the Lorax or Space Chimps. Something. Something you might like. People found out the same username exists as a Fortnite account. So. Okay, maybe a coincidence, right? Little is Jeff won. Anyone could use an account name like that. It's very vague. So the account activity on Fortnite showed that the biggest gap of playtime in the account's history pairs exactly with the lead up arrest and death of Epstein. Maybe another coincidence, right? Who knows? It's a weird world. And a few days after his death, the Littlest Jeff account resumes playing Weird. Strange. Within days of people knowing this, the account was scrubbed off the Internet. Fortnite came out and clarified. Fortnite came out and said something about it claim that there is no history of any of Epstein's emails in the database. Okay, so. So Fortnite just cleared it up. There's no evidence of any of these emails in the Fortnite database. Then why in the Epstein files are there receipts to V Bucks, the currency that you need to pay for with real money on Fortnite? That doesn't make any sense. There's evidence he was playing Fortnite in the Epstein files. So either the that's a fake Epstein file, which why would that be fake, or Fortnite's lying.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Do you think they asked like the FBI would have said hey Fortnight, you need to say that he didn't play Fortnite. And they were like sure.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Probably because also though I think, I think what also happened was there is a list on in the Epstein files of his emails because he had a lot of emails.

Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
but at the same time, there's other ones that are scattered around as well on like random pieces of lined paper or other random Epstein emails. So I don't think everyone has like, you know, knows the full list of emails he truly had. But we know as a fact that he did buy V Bucks on Fortnite. So he was playing Fortnite. And I do think little as Jeff won was his Fortnite account, weirdly enough. Still, the playing time exactly pairs with his prison time, weirdly enough. Maybe after he died, a hacker got into the account and started playing. But the Epstein files weren't released yet. How would they know that Little is Jeff one was his account and why would they even want to get into it? I'm thinking 85. Man, it's looking weird. It's like all these things are lining up. The 4chan thing, the whole idea where the FBI is going after some of the prison guards legally and you know, the, the post on 4chan being like, hey, I think they swapped them out unmarked fan came in and we didn't get a plate number. It was all just really sketchy. And then he hangs himself randomly the next day. Also, you see what they he hanged himself with. Have you seen the picture where it's just like a ribbon? Yeah, it's like no way. So I never thought I'd go from he hung himself. He didn't hang himself.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
He's alive to 85% sure. That's pretty sure. That's like a solid B I think.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
I think he's chilling. I don't think he's being tortured like, like Jim was talking about. But I think wherever he is, he's drinking Mai tais. He's. He's on the battle bus.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah, it's more like what Joe said. I think he's. He's getting taken care of quite nicely rewarded almost for his services and just chilling. It just seems so sloppy that he would log into a service again unless he's massively addicted. How old is Epstein? He's, like, in his 60s. I don't know.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
There's evidence in the Epstein files. He was, like, a gamer. Like, he played a lot of video games.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Okay.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
And it's just like, Littlest Jeff Won, which was an account name he used as evidence in the files. The fact that then, like, a random Fortnite account had the same exact account name. And by coincidence, that that coincidence pairs exactly with his arrest. And then a few days after, I think maybe a couple weeks after his arrest, he starts playing again.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
So he was 66 in 2019, which was almost. August 10, 2019, is when he died. It's almost seven years ago. So he would be, like, 73 now. Like, that's. That's, like. Seems old to be playing Fortnite, right? How good is Fortnite? I played it, like, once. It just seems annoying, you know? Really cool. I don't know.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Jeffrey Epstein has a lot of preferences I definitely don't agree with. And Fortnight is definitely one of them,
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
for sure, that you don't agree with.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Right.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Okay, It's. Yeah, but maybe it's all also, like, a signal, too. It's like his way of letting certain people know, but it's. It's one that isn't enough of a signal to where it's, like, clear that he's alive because it's, like, there you go. But maybe that was his way of being like, you'll know I am, because I'll use this account again, and people will know. Like a message.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
I don't think people would think, though, that just some random account would be found in the Epstein files, like a Fortnite account or something. Also, they didn't know. It's not like they sat him down and like, hey, so we know you play Fortnite. Just don't play Fortnite because people might connect your.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Like, so to be clear, just to be clear on this point, that actually was his account that's been found. Or is. This is a guess.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
So this is his. This is a guess. This is a guess. But it just makes a lot of sense.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
The dates, line.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
It's also random that, like, Then if it's. If it's not his account, why did Fortnite scrub this account off the Internet? Also, this account, the play information can't even be found on archives.com. you know how hard it is to scrub information off, like, Internet archives? Oh, why did, you know, whoever did this go out of their way to that extent to scrub this if it's just some random player, just some random coincidence?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Sure.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Why did Fortnite make a statement? Why was all the information scrubbed off the Internet? 85, man. Okay, I. I think 85. I'm not sure if that changed any of your thinking, but I. I really like this dude we know as civilians was extremely powerful potentially. He can. He can pretty much crumble governments with some of the information he has. Like, they were saying on the podcast, they're not just gonna throw in some random, like, drunk tank.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
They're not gonna throw them in some cell. Like, they're gonna. They're gonna put this guy behind. Like, they're gonna vault this guy.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Right. That did seem strange that it's like, throw him in with this murderer. And then also, the cameras went down. And also sloppy, sloppy security. And, yeah.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Also, there's evidence of Cash Patel lying. So, okay, he, like. He lies. What else is he lying about? Like, he also said on his new podcast, I can't believe he started a podcast where he's like, yeah, there's some information that we just need to, like, keep safe, like, what's good for society.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Oh, Cash Patel said this?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Yeah.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Wait, he has a podcast?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Important decision. He just started a podcast. I think he either resurrected his old one. I forget who it's with. It's someone who's, I think, X. FBI. What? Yeah, it's like. It's like, what are we doing, dude? I don't know.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
You shouldn't be allowed to have a podcast if you're like.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
You also should be allowed to have the FBI be your girlfriend's DD when she gets drunk with her friends. Have the FBI escort her around to bars. I think that's a little. Also, to take an FBI plane to fly out to see your girlfriend's concert, I think is maybe a little abusive when it comes to that kind of power. Also, like, hiding the fact that one of the. The biggest pedophiles in the world is still alive. I think that's also a. A big.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
No, no, that one's not cool. Yeah, I don't like that last one for sure.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Well, I mean, really, you're playing Fortnite at, like, 7 years old like who are you?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
There we go. There we go. Well, the autopsy and the prostate thing was, was glaring to me. And if that's true, I mean, there were emails saying, you know, you have low TRT because you don't have a prostate. Right? And the email back is him saying, yeah, that's right, I had it removed. And the autopsy says that he had a prostate. So what is that about? So who's lying can't grow back. Right. So that's very strange. You know, you would have thought if they're faking autopsies or you know, faking a body that they would also put somebody in there to do the autopsy that knew what to put on the report to match what was expected from Epstein. But maybe they didn't even know that he had that removed. If they didn't have his updated medical records, they would just have to assume that maybe people don't look into things as quite this much because maybe a
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
more realistic approach is maybe he was like, well, I can't come as hard unfortunately, so I think I'm going to get a prostate transplant that doesn't exist. You don't think so?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
I don't believe you don't think he
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
can pull some strings?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
It's just not a thing. Is like it doesn't matter how much money you have. Like they don't have.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
They grow ears on mice. You don't think they can grow a prostate on a mouse?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
I don't know.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Listen, Biden's a clone. There's lizard people. What is impossible at this point, Adam?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Well, let's talk about that. They. It is funny how they circle back to Tor Biden and I haven't thought about Tor Biden for a long time. But when they played that clip, he once again did look unusually tall. What was going on that. Did they just want to see if they could get away with having a 6 foot 8 Biden for a minute.
Commercial Narrator

Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Try it@photoshop.com be like, I wonder what would happen? How will the news deal with this? And will it just blow over like anything else? Like, what can we get away with?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
I saw that footage recently and I'm like, oh, Baron, I thought it was Barron Trump.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Who else is that told?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Biden, who's like, seven. Seven foot. It's insane. And then I watched some videos and saw some comparisons. Standing next to Jill, his wife, and it's like, what did he grow? Like, It's. It's obvious. It's not like, here. Here's what's tough about things like this, where it's all about perspective. You know what I mean? Where a lot of people were saying, well, he's taller than Jill. It's like, well, Jill's like, you know, 30ft in the distance. That's why. But you can also see pictures where he's standing right next to her and where her eyeline is compared to Biden. And there's a few pictures where she's next to him, and that eyeline seems to change compared to Biden. What's that about?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah, and the. The film of this is like, slightly from underneath, too, and he's in front of everybody else, so it could just be perspective and angle. I mean, it's hard to know with that one.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
I don't know.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
But he does look unusually tall.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Yeah.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
I mean, is that enough, though? And what would be the point? What are you even doing? If you. If you are replacing him for a day for some reason, why replace him with somebody that happens to be 6 inches taller? That makes no sense. You've made his face look the same. You've made everything else look the same. You can't get his height correct.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
That.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Unless you're testing us to see if we can figure out height differences. It just seems like a really bad move.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
This really isn't passing the Biden sniff test, you know? Also, I want to say that in the Epstein files, there is some talk about this. Oh. Which. So what is that about? Well, to Biden, like. Yeah.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
What does it say?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
So apparently it's talked about Biden was killed by a firing squad in 2019.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
What?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
I don't know what that's about, but that's mentioned in the Epstein files. Now connected to that is what is Epstein saying? This. The mask malfunctions on Biden are getting worse every day. On purpose. This will end badly for redacted who is posing with a clone on Facebook. Okay, so that's in the Epstein files. That's an email that I believe is. That is being sent by Jeffrey Epstein. Also, Trump made a post about it on Truth Social. And I will pull that up right here. And it reads this. All right, Listen to this.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Okay. Okay.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
On Truth Social, this is. This is on Truth Social, I believe it was deleted by Trump. Trump says there is no Joe Biden dash executed in 2020. Biden clones, doubles and robotic engineered soulless, mindless entities are what you see. Democrats don't know the difference. That was posted on Truth Social by Trump. And then I believe he deleted it. But what is. I put my hands up, Adam. I don't know. This is one where. I just don't know. I don't know what to say about this.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Wouldn't. So that was the beginning of his term. So they would have executed him at the beginning of his term. Is that what it's saying?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
What did Biden do?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Well, maybe he did cheat on that election. So then they. According to this conspiracy that you're bringing up, maybe that's what it was. And they were like, yep, you. We found out, so now we're offing you, and we've got to just put this robot in for four years and
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
deal with what I don't understand. Exactly. Here's what I don't understand, though. So you've seen those interviews with Hunter Biden, you know.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Whatever your thoughts on Hunter Biden are, wouldn't.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
He's a wild guy.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Shooken up. If your dad was replaced and you're just in an interview being like, yeah, my dad's a great guy. I love talking to him. He's going through a lot right now. But, like, how do you say that with a straight face? And you're. You know, someone might listen to this and be like, we'll buy it. A hunter's crazy. He's a crack addict. He's. He's mental. He's unhinged. Yeah, dude. Then, like, that should have come up out in the interview of him, like, being like, they. Something's wrong. I think my dad. Something happened to him. Like, he's talking like, yeah, you know, we were hanging out the other day. It's all good. Unless. What? He's a fed. Like, Jill Biden as well. She seems pretty chill with the clone.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Mm.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
What's going on with that?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Like, so. So say this is true where it's a robot or a clone. Like, why is the family seem like nothing's Changed. Well, also the ties. Are they drugged? I don't. I don't know what's going on.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Well, we could see his cognitive decline during his term. Why would you have some sort of clone or a person replacing Biden slowly have cognitive decline over a term? I mean, you've replaced them anyway. You would just have them function almost more effectively. Like that doesn't. Unless that's all part of your plan as well.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Yeah, but Epstein is saying the mask malfunctions on Biden are getting worse every day. On purpose. I don't know if we're going by this line of thinking where it's like, on purpose. Why? I don't know.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
What would an email like that possibly even mean? Let's just think in the more sensible, literal sense or even joking sense. Like let's say they're joking around, right? They're just rich people joking around about people Mask. Like, what could you mean metaphorically Mask like he's putting on a face, right. So he's being two faced. The mask that he's putting up is malfunctioning.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
So yeah. Now with that, then the next line. Let's look at the next line that says on the email, this will end badly for redacted. Who is posing with a clone on Facebook.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Posing with a clone on Facebook.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Now what's the metaphor there? You know what I mean? I don't know. Like, I'm looking for holes in this, but the only holes in this are. It's just too crazy.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
It seems just too crazy. It seems fairly literal writing, right?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Yeah.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
You know, I guess you could take that as all just kind of metaphorical, but it seems quite literal the way that.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
And the fact that a name was redacted as well. And that is weird.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Oh, I wish we knew what the name was. Because then you could look up that photo on Facebook.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Yeah. Maybe it's the same guy who did Jim Carrey. Huh? That's a whole can of words.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
So cover that. So the whole truth social thing I think is weird too. I don't know. Do you think Biden's a clone
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
again?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Robot again?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
I have to go down that Sam Harris line of just being like the most likely answer, which is no is and at the most plausible is yeah. I mean, since I've seen no evidence of real clones and we pretend, you know, we say that we can't make them. And even if we could, making one and putting it in the place of something else under the scrutiny of watchful eyes and pulling it off, it all seems like way too much out of the capacity of our capabilities. So other than a really fun story and a great sci fi movie, I can't imagine that would be possible. It seems far too unpleasable.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
I agree. I'd say I'm at 25% on that one. Yeah.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Okay. So far more on Epstein being alive.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Way more likely. I think it's getting to the point where like I. I hate doing research on this because it just scares the out of me, you know, because I'm always looking for holes. Even though it maybe doesn't sound like that and like how convinced I sound with some of this. But I am always looking for holes when it comes to this kind of research because it's like, it's so insane. And you don't want to just like chase the high of knowing something that everyone else doesn't. You know what I mean? That's the fun of conspiracy theories. But this, it's like. Like the whole Epstein where there's a note that says jail out equals 10. Like what the hell is that supposed to mean? Except I get out of jail on the 10th when they swap me out with a body and I play Fortnite
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
because though they did play some video of him inside and he didn't look too stressed or bothered at all. Maybe he's just a lawyer the day of the infinitely chill individual, but it seems like that would be a pretty stressful time in your life. You just went from island owner, multiple massive mansion owner. All of your freedom well connected throughout the world.

At Charmin we heard you shouldn't talk about going to the bathroom in public, so we decided to sing about it.

Your booty pass the clean test. Shaman ultra strong.

Enjoy the go with Charmin to incarceration and possibly looking at no escape ever. And you're just freely chatting about what just happened. You know when you're getting some sticky tape from someone and someone tried to kiss you.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Exactly.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Seems to look fun to look at
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
it in a non conspiracy way. Which is crazy to say this because maybe he felt that way because he thought he was going to get off and then someone came in and murdered him, which is pretty. Which what happened? Is it not a conspiracy anymore to just say he was killed?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Well, that's what they say happened. So then it wouldn't be because.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Because he didn't hang himself.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Somebody strangled him.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Yeah. Like, even in the. The autopsy.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
I mean, if I was to believe anything, I would think that is more plausible that he still is dead. But it wasn't a hanging. But even then, I'm still more likely to believe the original coroner than anything, because, again, it just lines up more likely to be true.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
But she's still alive. Yeah. Yeah.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
However, Joe talks about that other autopsy guy that they brought in and said that the injuries are more indicative of somebody that was strangled.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Yeah.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
So that one's a tough one. It's weird, but who knows? He's kind of like a TV autopsy guy, so, you know, I don't want to take anything away from his abilities to do his job, but it's a great way to drum up a bunch of clickbait and a good story is to have an opposing determination.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
I agree. Yeah. It's weird, man. I. I don't know. The. The tape and the fine lines. I like. I want to believe he was killed, but, like, I'm seeing way too many coincidences with. With Tall Biden. I think maybe he's just a crypted and maybe not real, but Epstein. O. I kind of don't want to research it anymore, because every time I do, I think he's playing Rocket League, you know?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Right.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
He's. He's chilling.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
It's almost.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Vodka crayons, you know?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah. It's almost too. Too depressing and too.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Exactly.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Too bizarre.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
But some good news is, though, in all of this, Joe and Marc Maron, the battle that I thought would never end.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Huh?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
The. The hatchet, the ax has been buried. So what?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Well, what do you think happened is my question. So Joe said he reached out because he needed to help Maram with something. What do you think that was, and how do you think that came about? Joe didn't bring that up. So it sounds like Joe is happy to just kind of keep that somewhat private, which I respect.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
And I don't understand that, though.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Well, it may be somewhat of a personal issue. Maybe it was something to do with his podcast. You know, Marin is. Did he stop doing the podcast?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Yeah, it's. It's over. It ended with Barack Obama's episode of a few months ago, I think. Two months ago.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Oh. So Barack came back on for another
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
one for the final episode.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Okay.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
And, you know, I just don't know what specifically Joe would offer. Like, why is it specifically Joe that can solve Mark's problem here. That's just where I'm.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah, that's true. Am I just.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Am I thinking. Am I too in conspiracy brain?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
No, no, no, no. That's reasonable.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
I. I look at something like this, I'm like, I gotta connect the dots. What is Joe specifically? You know? But I think it's.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Let's just brainstorm. Let's take a guess, because Joe said it. I don't think Joe's lying.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
No, not at all. Not at all. Like, it. It was definitely something where Joe himself had to reach out to Mark Merritt for something that specifically he knew how to solve that Mark had a problem with. Is it podcasting stuff? But at the same time, it's not like Joe produces.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
No. He might just have some connections somewhere for something.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Maybe he just wanted to hook him up with Jamie for Jamie to help him out with something related to the podcast. That's something else.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
I mean, Marin can get a hold of his own producers and editors and things. I mean, Jamie's very busy. You can't get Jamie for that. It would have been something else on a. More like. I don't know. And, you know, there's a bit of humble pie in there. I mean, the fact that Marin would even kind of. I don't know what would bridge that gap, because there has been some energy between the two of them that. Yeah, but it sounded like Joe was the one that reached out. Yeah, that's cool.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
And then Mark sent a message of being like, hey, man, I'm sorry, and sent this long message, and Joe's like, it's all good, man. Dude. To have Mark on the podcast.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Let's go.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Would be a great episode.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
It would be amazing.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Like, that would be the episode of them reflecting on this and talking about it. And I would love to see Mark kind of just be honest with Joe and like, hey, I. I do have real feelings about what you're doing when it comes to the comedy scene. And just Joe and Mark kind of hash it out. I think that'd be awesome. But is that gonna happen? I think there's a more likely chance that Biden is a clone than Mark being on Joe Rogan's podcast.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
I don't think. I don't think it would be impossible. I think it would be a great conversation. I mean, Marin's obviously good on pods, and I think that they could really hash it out and have a good conversation. I'm sure Marin misses being on shows, and I think Rogan could even have great advice about how he could start his show back up. And Marin pray misses it. You know, there's probably, like a good avenue there. So I ran it through chat and I said, have a think. Have a guess, like, what it could be. And it said, yep, it was that episode Jim Brewer. Rogan had to help him with a problem, had to help him with something, inform him about something. And Mark said, thank you. Give him a heads up. Rogan clarified the misunderstanding, the feud, what it's likely to be deep personal, medical therapy type problem. Rogan's wording is inform, not talked him through. And the public framing is more about being cool and not having enemies than about personal crisis. So it was. It's kind of impossible to pin it down. We don't know.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
It's very.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
But that's a shame. I just. I want to be nosy. Rogan. When Rogan doesn't want to tell you, though, he's not telling you. Like, he's all about.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
It's probably something personal.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah, I get it.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
I get it, too.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
But we're nosy. We like to know.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
That's. That's the point. Like, it's. This podcast is practically conspiracy podcast at this point. So it's. I feel like I am in that mindset of, like, uncovering the truth, and this is something that I do want to know about, of, like, what really went down. What was that? What did that message say to Joe? I also would love to know more about that, but, hey, I'm just. I'm just glad the beef's over, you know, it just got annoying.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Well, I mean, Joe talked about it and it's. And it's interesting. He's talked about it before. It's like, look, it's easy to get jealous. It's easy to be in that position. You know, we've all done it. Someone's doing better than you, or you just wish. But again, if you could, if you can catch yourself and realize it's a waste of energy, you're tiring yourself out, you're not thinking correctly. You need to change that as soon as you can and get yourself on a better path. If anything, it's like, just turn it into admiration. Don't turn it into bitterness and jealousy. Just be like, okay, they're doing better than me. How are they doing that? Like, I'm inspired by this. Maybe I should work harder. You know, what's wrong with my approach? What do I need to do to do better? Maybe I could learn from them. You know, it doesn't need to get you down. And it's also, okay, that you think like that right away for a second. Just don't hold yourself there for too long. I mean, Rogan talked about it when he was talking about Chris Rock selling out stadiums in a day after the Will Smith slap. And Rogan was like, it takes me, like, two weeks to sell out a stadium. That's bullshit. And he had to catch himself and be like, why am I being such a bitch about this? He's like, yeah, that's normal to have a feeling, but it's a smart move to catch yourself. Like, if you stay there for too long, hold that bitterness for way too long. Which it sounds like Mark Marin has a tendency of doing. I mean, it probably does result in things like your show collapsing over time. I mean, how big was Marc Maron show for a long time? Huge.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Yeah, it was really big. I'm not sure exactly whether the show just ended because of viewership. I know he did talk about publicly how it was viewership to end the show. Dude, did he say that?
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
My. I don't know if he did, but you could tell on the podcast chart. So when before. Before Spotify bought up charitables and you could see where the charts were, my show started charting higher than Marin's. For real. In the top 100 Apple Podcasts. I would slowly watch my show take over his as his, like, dropped out of the top 100. And that's, like, a strange thing to see and to think that he wouldn't have noticed or known. Like, not like he's watching my show, but he's seeing all the shows as he just drops past them. And then every ad comes in that's worth less and less. Every check that he's getting is worth less and less. And then he's not getting the deals. You know, Rogan sells his show for 100 million, then 200 million, and then, you know, there's just no deals coming in. Contracts are getting signed for way less. And then back in, I think it was like, 23. Apple came out with this new update. There was a big shift in how podcasts were delivering payments. And it was earlier in that same year, a bunch of exclusive contracts had been made. And then all of a sudden, the downloads for a bunch of shows dropped because of this new algorithm that was set up by Apple, the way that they, like, downloaded your back catalog. So none of the podcasts were producing at the download rate that was expected. So none of the advertisers or the hosting companies, I mean, were able to deliver. Excuse me. Able to deliver the way that they were selling out their shows, yet they still had to pay all these podcasts. So it destroyed the bottom line. So people that were in those exclusive contracts were doing fine because they had to get paid out on. But a bunch of these hosting sites went out of business, and that destroyed the exclusive podcast deal setup. Did you ever hear what happened to Theo that whole deal?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
No.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah. So there were companies that owed him a ton of money and they ended up, I guess, just going bankrupt. They couldn't even pay him because they. They just weren't getting paid. But they had signed all these exclusive deals and the advertisers weren't paying him. It was just this whole turnaround from that. So who knows? Maybe Marin was like caught up in all that business too.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
I mean, also, Marin was just too stubborn to adapt and change his show. Like, if his show had the three camera format. Right. And was on YouTube and there was a visual and he didn't do that rant before every episode, I think we'd be talking about a different.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Oh, yeah, like 20 minutes on how he's feeling, which is usually terrible.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Like, dude, if Joe's podcast was just audio only and it started with like a 20 minute rant of him complaining, he would be nowhere where he is now.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Exactly. Yeah. Not good. Not good.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Like seeing the get. Like, people love watching podcasts now. Yep. Back in 2000, it was the thing to listen to it. Like in 2008, it was only audio in 2007 and all that. And then Joe kind of with his podcast, when he started, it was like, what? It's. You're videoing it like you're doing a video with this. And then they paved the way and now it. It's like mandatory with a podcast.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Like, in a lot of ways, 95% of podcasts are video based. It's. It's funny we're talking about this on an audio only podcast, but. But that's just the thing for, like, when it comes to comics.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
I know I need to step on my game and.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
And Come town. Come town was audio only, but there we go. But we're. That. That's. We're kind of a hidden gem here. And I think that's kind of the charm.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
That's it. You know, we need to upgrade. We're probably gonna do it. There's gonna be some changes coming up. I've got a feeling Got a feeling
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
I've got a feeling yeah I got a feeling I can't explain it.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Yeah. Well, anyway, let's wrap this one up. Jim Burr, legend. What do you give this one out of ten, would you say?
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
Also the whole comic stories. That was cool hearing about, you know, the pool halls and Jim Brewer and Joe's relationship and John Tobin, who I know.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
Oh, sweet.
Podcast Co-host (possibly Adam Thorne)
That was cool. And yeah, for me, I'd give it a 7.
Podcast Host (Adam Thorne)
10. Yep, solid 7. I liked it a lot. Yeah, it was good. Well, check it out. There's going to be more reviews later in the week. We appreciate you guys, as always, and we'll talk to you soon. Later.
