My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is one of the most sought-after executive leadership coaches in the world. Her extensive cross-cultural expertise spans 14 countries, six languages and hundreds of companies. She has written thousands of articles, columns, speeches and presentations. She is the author of two books: Trust Inc and Thoughts Spoken from the heart, where she brings expertise to her work that is grounded in behavioral and psychological principles along with 30 years of experience. She has worked across a wide range of industries and organisations within corporate, nonprofit, government, and business development domains, encouraging, pushing and setting guidelines for achieving high and consistent performance And now after decades of coaching powerful executives around the world, our guest has observed that leaders rise to their positions relying on a specific set of values and traits. But in time, every executive reaches a point when their performance suffers and failure persists. Very few understand why or how to prevent it. And she has bound up all this knowledge within the covers of her new book "The Leadership Gap" what gets between you and your greatness which is coming out shortly. So of course its great to be great, but how do you push past those feeling of doubt and insecurity that all high achievers struggle with in their lives? And did she work to get to this point in her life, or as so many guests have revealed…it's been a pleasant surprise to her, that her dots have led her to this point? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Lolly Daskal. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Lolly Daskal such as: Why we should realise that when things are hard, the more focus we put in the easier things will become. It may seem the harder route but will get us to where we want to be quicker. Lolly explains her theory that we all should just go for what feels right in your life, which is where success is waiting. Trust your gut to make the right decisions for you. Why so many people fail to reflect on their own lives due to their busy schedule, until someone reflects it back on them by their own failures and struggles. and lastly…. We discuss how the imposter syndrome can hold us back in our lives, unless we accept that perfection wont ever happen, just get on with it.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a New Zealander who has lived in London for 10 years, She is an expert in business growth and entrepreneurship, and has overcome extreme personal trauma to become a leading expert in her field. Having become a mother in New Zealand 15 years ago, whilst supporting a client during their multi-billion dollar merger – she later experienced the trauma of multiple pregnancies (12 babies in total including conceiving triplets), sadly without giving birth to another child. Through a period of personal discovery, she successfully overcame the huge emotional trauma that this period in her life involved. She is now keen to use this experience to help others identify how they can use the vulnerability they have experienced, which could be fear, failure, grief, sadness or shame, and turn it into power - regaining control of their lives and becoming successful in business and in life as they define it. Heartbreaking and life changing information I'm sure you will agree. But her life now only seems to be going one way. Into a world leaping out of bed, excited by the possibilities that are coming her way. As she says "I passionately believe that entrepreneurs should not be a slave to their businesses, rather they need to control them, enabling the entrepreneur to enjoy a full personal and family life too. I hope that I lead by example, enjoying an entrepreneurial career while also participating in many other of my life's passions and personal interests." So what made her take on the bold decisions in life instead of crawling into a tight ball and letting the world pass her by? And has she ever been the classic entrepreneur checking her emails, and twitter feed five times a minute, or has she always seen the right way to do stuff? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Adele McLay

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who seems to me was certainly born with the entrepreneurial genes. Starting his first business at age 11, (even hiring his parents for logistics support), over the last quarter century he's started and owned more than 30 different companies including an insurance agency, precious metals firms, a venture capital company, a coaching and consulting firm, and more than a dozen real estate investment and development companies. He's also the founder of Yokido ™, his own martial arts and holds 3 other black belts. But it hasn't all been plain sailing in his life, as by age 27 he became a millionaire, and then lost everything (including his Ferrari, girlfriend, and even his dog) before going again in a new direction. But it seems to me that at his core he is a man who believes in personal control, and having the ability to show the world how we can free ourselves from the control that money worries have over our lives. By learning the ways to simplify investments, and taking the mystery out how to make money work for us, we will all have a better standard of living, life and health too. The life that most of us would say was the dream. Today, he resides in Austin Texas and is the Founder and CEO of Total Control Financial, a company who are obsessed with Disrupting Wall Street & Empowering Main Street, and as we said showing the world the promised land. So the big questions are, did he need to lose everything to be able to gain the clarity of financial knowledge that he now has? And what is the number one mistake that people make when attempting to gain financial freedom Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Damion Lupo.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is the author of the newly published book The Gifted Storyteller which tells the story of Michael. A man who followed "the plan" and did everything he was supposed to for life to be successful; great job, money, dates, yet despite it all, everything wasn't the dream he expected. One night after work, he meets a beautiful and mysterious woman named Jeannie, who introduces him to the Gifted Storyteller, and changes his life forever. Now the question we will need to ask is how much of Michael is fictional and how much is autobiorphicall? As it seems to me that todays guest has trodden a similar path in many ways. As certainly im sure that seeing how his life is changing so amazingly in front of him, he may well feel that he could have taken more risk earlier in his life. Allowing him to experience growth in mindset, confidence and the ability to create the life of his dreams. He works in the field of education, with over 20 years experience as a teacher and Principal in NYC. Where he has received numerous awards and accolades as a leader in his field, and utilizing his degree in Psychology from StonyBrook University and certification in Strategic Intervention in coaching, his focus is on helping people see empowering meaning in the present moment and seize the opportunity to create lasting change for themselves and others. So looking back at what he has achieved and what he is working towards, does he feel that it is simply a case of getting going, or a lot more than that? And where does he see his attention turning to now, more books or something quite different? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Mr Gregg Korrol

Todays guest, joining us on the Join Up Dots free podcast interview is Ani Alexander, someone that I am proud to say has become one of my closest friends in the world. I have never met her, don't know too much about her personal life, but can honestly say she has become one of the people that has helped me so much as Join Up Dots keeps on growing. She has a fascinating story, which starts by being born in a country that now is no longer there, the soviet union, and as teenager loved to write. In her heart she believes that everyone has a story to tell, and would like nothing more than putting pen to paper and getting creative as a child. But as we see time and time again, the thing that we liked as kids somehow got forgotten as we grow into adulthood. And instead of thinking "Lets make a career out of something that I love doing"…which of course is the sensible thing to do, she instead went into the corporate world. And joined the masses. Yes, for the next twelve years Ani Alexander followed a path that left her with a paycheck every month, but nothing more. She was lost and definitely feeling uninspired. So she took the leap of faith and went for it on her own And now with her business flourishing, her network of aspiring authors flocking to help her get them in the bestsellers list, life is getting better everyday. She is also the author of three books "Emotional Moments", "Dream Down" and "Highfall" But if this sounds like an easy transition then think again. I know her well, and I know the hustle and work ethic that it is taking to get to the point she wants to be. She is climbing up the ladder of success everyday, one rung at a time even when exhausted, even when she was unsure she could climb any higher? So how does she keep herself going when sometimes the world seems against her? And why did she feel along with everything else on her plate, she would go and conquer the world by recording the Write 2 b Read podcasts in English, not her natural tongue. Well lets find out as we bring on to the show to start joining up dots the one and only Ani Alexander

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who was kind enough to have me as a guest on his show Smashing The Plateau. This is a great show where he raises the question that we all need help with in our lives - How to get past that huge obstacle that keeps us stuck in our lives. How to smash the plateau. you see its all in the name. Now the interesting thing about our guest is his desire to not only help individuals achieve success, but also companies too which has taken up the bulk of his life over the last decade.. He is the President of TEND Strategic Partners, and is a recognised authority on leadership and management capabilities that lead to organisational excellence. He is the creator of the TEND System™, specifically designed to take advantage of existing resources from a team…building upon successes they have already achieved… integrating and managing structured changes, with built-in accountability, without adding excessive workload or unnecessary expenses. By tapping into time-tested blueprints to overcome emotional and tactical roadblocks, he designs and implements the innovations needed for business to thrive, and empowers organisations to become the recognised go-to resource in their niche. But of course within all organisations their are individuals with their own problems, so is it as simple as helping the man is the quickest way of helping the boss? Or do we simply have to find a world where the right pegs are banged into the right holes. Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Mr David Shriner-Cahn.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who calls himself the coolest guy in SEO. And when you see him perched on his motorbike, in leathers and wearing a contented smile of "Yeah baby....I have created something amazing come and check it out"..then you think then he is probably spot on with that name. He has created Ardor Media Factory an online company specialising in content marketing, content writing, search engine optimization, search engine ranking, keyword research, web analysis, web design, link building and image linking After obtaining his degree in 2006 degree in Software Engineering from Queensland University of Technology. he decided to scratch his itchy feet by heading off to London. During his time in London, Dublin and Brussels, he worked under contract with Euroclear, Visa Europe and Sony Research & Development. But it was when he really stractched his itchy feet again, and started backpacking around the world a few years ago then one of his big dots really jumped out infront of him. As he says " because of my love for software development, I built an online game. As the completion day came near for the game I made, I thought that I should learn how to market if anyone else is ever going to play with it. So, I started studying how Google works and learned about Search Engine Optimisation. I quickly discovered how important backlinks are – not just any backlinks, but only quality backlinks with relevant and compelling content on powerful industry-specific websites." And the rest is history. Not easy history, in any shape or form, but one that has seen steady growth, a move from his home country of Australia to set up in Davao city in Philippines in January 2013, and now clients flocking to his company from across the globe. Life seems good and should be good, as he has taken control of his own destiny, and worked his socks off to make things happen. So does this kind of success simply come from putting one itchy foot in-front of the other until you start too see things happening? Or is there a blueprint for all of us to follow, as we look to leave the corporate grind, and sit on our own motorbikes to ride into our special futures? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only, Mr Cool SEO Guy Mr Kris Reid.

Today's guest joining us on the Join Up Dots Steve Jobs inspired podcast contacted me and said "Hey I Think I Should Be A Guest On The Show" And so of course I said, "Ok, then, do you have some interesting back-story that will make the show amazing!" Two seconds later he hit me with: 1. Started out on 6 figure salary at age 23 2. Went broke and got evicted onto the streets with wife and first child 3. Started business from scratch. 4. Went broke again 5. Outsourced my business to a competitor 6. Ran my company out of a hotel lobby for a year 7. Grew it and semi retired on passive earnings at age 31 8. Started a podcast, digital agency and investment fund Which is quite a good list I'm sure you agree, oh and then he also told me " ok, lets talk about how I almost died, I haven't mentioned that one" So with this lot to cover this could be episode one of a ten part serial, but we will see what we cover in the show. But its clear to see that this guy has hustle muscle by the bucket load, has the ability to overcome setbacks and keep going for the big picture, and of course loves what he is doing. You can hear that on the "Can I Pick Your Brain?" Podcast. So, the question is would he have got to where he is today without succumbing to the huge ups and downs that life has thrown at him? Today's guest entrepreneur reviewing the words of Steve Jobs, on the Join Up Dots free business podcast, is a lady who has gradually built her way to where she is today. She quite simply has been through the lifecoach school of hardknocks and now through her top ranked podcast Coming Out Of The Fire she is showing others how to overcome lifes issues. As her professional bio states "I am known in pop culture as America's crisis Coach. I come alongside celebrities, professional athletes, corporations and other high-achievers to manage their crisis situations, save their reputations and minimize damage to themselves and their families." Which is quite a dramatic statement to make. But what has lead to her to want to build a career, and one that is hugely successful around dealing with other peoples heartaches, and personal distress. What made her want to step boldly into a world of crisis management and create a lifestyle of freedom and success. Well reviewing her career, you can see clearly the dots that have lead her to this point starting with a ten year stint as a Senior Case Manager at Tehama County Mental Health in California. Before undertaking the role of Executive Director responsible for a 24 bed, licensed residential facility for the mentally ill. But to my point of view, and we will discuss this on the show the true signpost showing her the way to her current position was as a Court Investigator researching petitions for conservatorship or guardianship to prevent abuse, neglect or fraud. Combining the personal issues that are encountered by mental health, with the day to day stuff that life throws at people, it is obvious that one word is formed: Crisis. So does she see her career dissection in the same way as I do, or does she feel that other elements have lead her to where she is today? And how does she remain bright and breezy at the end of the day after dealing with the kind of issues that her clients are bringing to her? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only entrepreneur herself Faydra Koenig. To hear more from Faydra Koening go to: Podcast: Coming Out Of The Fire Description: Join Faydra, America's crisis coach as she interviews high achievers who faced unimaginable obstacles and came out on top. A bold approach to crisis management.
