Welcome to the Jonathan Shuttlesworth Podcast. To stay connected, go to revival today dot com. And now, here is Evangelist Jonathan. Why does God heal number one? Matthew 14:14. And Jesus went forth and saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion toward them. And he healed their sick. Matthew 20:34. So Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him. Mark 1:41. And Jesus moved with compassion, put forth his hand and touched them, and said unto him, I will be thou clean. Mark 6:34. And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people and was moved with compassion toward them because they were as sheep not having a shepherd. And he began to teach them many things. Why does God heal number one? Because of his compassion. Other gods. Now, I'm not saying this to knock other religions yet study it for yourself. No other God of any other religion claims to love the people. You won't read anything in the Quran. I am Allah and I love you. And I pour out my nothing like that Buddha. Nothing. Nothing you do. The gods of other religions are like the irs. Do what you're told and there won't be any trouble. But if you don't do what you're told, there's going to be trouble. But there's no lifting or care for the people. That story Bishop Dag Heywood Mills tells that he was preaching crusades and he heard the Lord speak to him and say, you're actually not even a minister. That'll hurt your feelings. I've been preaching crusades, calling people to cry. What do you mean? I'm not a minister. And the Lord said, you don't pray for the sick. How'd you skip that part? Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I didn't just talk. I told them, everywhere you go preach the kingdom, preach the good news, announce that the kingdom of God is at hand and heal their sick. He didn't just give them power to heal the sick. So I was reading. So the Mormon Church teaches that healing is for today, but it's not to be done in public services. It's to be done privately. And then the testimonies are to be kept quiet so that no one gets pride. Well, I'm going to tell you something that makes me think nobody's getting healed. Because anytime Jesus told somebody, listen, don't tell anybody that you got healed. They nodded their head and then they went and told the whole town, when people get healed, they tell everybody. And there's testimonies that are great, that are represented here today, but there's more Testimonies getting ready to bubble forth from this church. Year two is going to be a double portion of healing and miracles and revival today. Arizona number two, John 11:40. Jesus said unto her, said I not unto thee, that if thou wouldst believe, thou should see the glory of God when he raised Lazarus from the dead. Number two, to reveal his glory. Why is it that when people get healed, like that video you've had me play from our church in Pittsburgh, that girl that tried to commit suicide and jammed a 4.6-inch knife into her chest and missed her heart by a millimeter, but punctured that artery and still almost died from internal bleeding. Well, when Jesus healed her, she immediately broke up with her abusive boyfriend of 11 years, stopped drinking and stopped partying. How? Because in healing is the glory of God. Why in Acts, chapter 19, when Paul was casting out devils and healing the sick, did everybody go get their books of curious arts, it says in the King James witchcraft books, and burn them in a public bonfire? Why, when my uncle Ted was preaching in West Virginia and after the third person got healed, everybody just took their cigarettes and chewing tobacco and threw them up on the platform? Because there is a deficit of the manifestation of the glory of God. If you cut healing out. But if you pray for the sick, the power that's released, that heals the sick, grabs people from their insides and pulls them in to what God wants for their life. Can you say amen? Number 3 John 9:3. Jesus answered, neither hath this man sinned nor his parents, but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. Third reason. Jesus heals. Number two. To reveal his glory. Number three, to manifest his works. Healing is a work of Christ that he wants manifested. Number four, Matthew 16:20. And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, confirming the word with signs, following number four to confirm the preaching of the Word. Healing confirms the preaching of the word of God. Anybody can travel somewhere and teach. You know, Mormons do it, Jehovah's Witnesses do it, all kinds of people do it. Everybody can talk. Everybody can talk belief. But miracles settle the question. When people start getting. I'll tell you one. When. When I was in India, I gave a call for people that wanted to get healed. After the salvation call, the whole place lined up. It was an indoor meeting, about 800 people, I would say. And a lady through the interpreter said, I have a tumor on my breast. And, you know, when you pray overseas, the tumor's open, you know, like in bad shape. So I said, put your hand on Your breast. And then I prayed for her. In the name of Jesus, I curse that tumor. Command it to come out of your body. And she started crying. So I thought I had my hand on top of her hand. I thought maybe I got excited and pushed too hard on the tumor. She said, it's already deflating to the interpreter. So when. When she left, she was in a full burqa. Islamic woman. So the. The translator, who was an associate pastor, you know, that's the problem. Somebody wrote on X, what's the biggest threat to Christianity in America? I wrote lukewarm pastors because if the pastor's on fire, the people will be on fire. And so what do I mean by lukewarm after that happened? The tumor goes down. The associate pastor goes, her husband's a Muslim, and he'll probably beat her for that. I said, shut up. Say this with me. He that began a good work in me will bring it to completion. Yeah, why not have faith that. Well, that guy was wrong. The next night, that woman was sitting there with her big, tall Islamic husband sitting next to her. And when I gave the invitation to get saved, his hand went up first. And he came to the altar and he told me. You know what he told me? He said, I have served allah faithfully for 30 years, and he's never done anything like that for my family. I'll be serving Jesus from now on. Jesus is superior to all other gods. He is the most high God. He's the Son of the living God. He's. He's the Son of God made flesh. He is the one that was the one that is, and the One that forever will be. If you're thankful you know him today. Let him hear your mighty hand. Clap and shout, he's alive. Alive. Number three to manifest his work. Number four to confirm the preaching of the Word. Number five, John 14:11. Believe me that I am in the Father. The Father is in me. Or else believe me for the very work's sake. Number five, to help people believe in Him. Healings and miracles help belief. Yeah. The Bible says, can you find the scripture? And many believed on him because of the miracles that they saw him do. And many believed on him. Seeing the miracles that he did. I think it's John 2 John 7:31. Many of the people believed on him. Let me see. John 2:23. Now, when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover of the feast day, many believed in his name when they saw the miracles that he did. You know, I don't know if I've told this Story here. My Uncle Ted's a 10 evangelist. He was preaching, and there was a guy that had had an inch and a half of his spinal cord taken out from an accident, and they stabilized his head on his collar bones. Well, my uncle didn't know that. He just felt to pray for me. So his neck was jacked up. So he said, sir, do you mind if I pray for you now? Just if you don't know if a ten evangelist asked, may I pray for you, he's getting your consent to physically assault you. So when the. The guy nodded his head like this, and my uncle grabbed his head and picked it up where it should be, which should have killed him because his. His spinal cord was. Was stabilized like that, and they said if he ever moved it like that, he'd die. So his wife gasped. So before he prayed, my uncle Ted looked to see, like, what's your problem? And while he was holding his head, he felt the vertebrae grow under his fingers. So, you know, when you're a faith preacher, you're supposed to act like it's not your first rodeo, but when something like that happens, it's difficult. So even my uncle went, whoa. And he was crying, and the wife was crying. Now, just like happened with that Muslim lady in India, the miracle is like throwing a rock in a pond. Ripples go out. So as much as great as that is, it also helps people believe. Behind them was a row of Muslims. Father, daughter, and two sons, long beard. And so you know why? Because everybody wants to be where healing and blessing is, no matter what their background is. So the daughter, my uncle, doesn't know any of this. The daughter's crying because, like, with her eyes big, she had been sitting behind that guy for 90 minutes. When you're our age, society teaches you don't stare at people with disabilities. When you're nine, you sketch it, you put it on TikTok nonek for 90 minutes. She saw that this guy didn't have a neck, and now he has a neck, and she's like this. And the Lord speaks to my uncle. He said, little girl, would you like to feel what a miracle feels like? She went like this. He said, take your finger and touch his neck. When she touched his neck, whatever residue of the glory of God that was still there shot into her. And she started speaking in tongues. The father. Now, if your kid started speaking in tongues right now, even you as a Christian, I'd be like, hey, not now. So he just had a reaction, reached and grabbed her arm. But the way to put live wire out is not by grabbing it. When he grabbed her arm, he threw his head back and started speaking in tongues. They all three got saved, and the next night he brought the rest of his family and ushered them down like a traffic cop. Because miracles help people believe that. This is not just a book or religion or a philosophy. It is living power with a living Christ. Hallelujah. There's a living Christ. He's alive. He said, call on me and I will answer you. Let me see John 14:11 again. John 14:11. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. And if you don't believe that, then you should believe because of the things that are happening. Then he makes it, takes it a step further. No, put on 11. Well, that's. Some of you have heard this before. Yes, because that was Jesus and Jesus was the Son of God. But we're just people. Did you know Jesus actually said the exact opposite? Verse 12. I'll show it. It got quiet. So it's good that I can show it to you. Verily, verily, I say unto who? Everybody say, that's me. He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also. And greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my father. 13, Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, not that I might do. Whatever you ask in my name, that will I do. So I want to tell you something. Don't say in your name we pray. Why are you censoring the name of Jesus like we live in Islamabad? Father, in your name, say the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus has literal power. You say God. Everybody stay seated. You say higher power, no one cares. You say karma, no problem. You say Jesus. Three of the women on the View get up and storm out immediately because there's power in the name of Jesus. It rattles hell, it rattles devils, it rattles sickness, it rattles disease. It's illegal to say that name all over the world, but it's not illegal in Arizona. So we should open up our mouths and say the name that is above every name that at the mention of the name of Jesus, Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do. Now, I'll be honest with you. I'm ashamed to admit it. Maybe it's why it's taken her eyes a long time to come open. But I was shocked when I heard that because I prayed for her. You couldn't see anything happen in the thing. She just thanked me for praying. Hey, I can see figures. And I Can see the sky. She says she knows when it's lighter, when it's dark. Well, when you have no optic nerve, that's the beginning of a creative miracle. But see, when I heard that, I thought, really? But if you'll just act on the word, just pray, take your feelings out of it. I don't really just feel. Who cares how you feel? What are you, four? Once you turn five, you should stop basing anything on feelings. Can you say amen? Say this out loud. I'm anointed. When I feel anointed, I'm anointed. When I don't feel anointed, say, Jesus lives in me. His power is on my insides. And say, I believe in him. So the same work that I saw him do, I will do. And greater works. Yeah. See, even studying lds, Mormon when I was there. You know, healing is something that elders can do. No, did you know? And that's what they'll teach in most Christianity. It was for the 12 apostles. It doesn't say the 12 apostles. It says, Let me see 12. Verily, verily, I say unto you. And let me see. Nlt. I think it says, anyone who believes on me there it says, he that believe on me. Because it's. It's 17th century English. I tell you the truth. Anyone who believes in me, everybody say, that's me. There's an old Baptist song that the chorus is, whosoever surely meaneth me. That's an 1800s way of saying, that guy read the Bible and realized everywhere it says whosoever. It means me. Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Whosoever believes in me, the same works that he sees me do, he shout. Why? Because Christ, not like a dilet, not like a temu. Jesus lives in you. Jesus lives in you. So because he lives in you, then the same way he manifested himself on the earth, he manifests his glory and his power for those that believe. That's why if I were the devil, and I'm not the devil, but if I were the devil, I would make sure that seminaries got stocked with teachers that taught people with a call to ministry that miracles aren't for today and God doesn't heal and the gifts of the spirit died out, and Jesus isn't the same today that he was back then, because if he can get you to not believe, it short circuits the power of God. But that's why when churches like this are raised up and we tell you the God of that Bible is the same today that he was Back then, the Christ you read in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, he's alive in you. And the same work that you saw him do, you shall do in greater. If you receive it. Go ahead and do what you're already doing. Clap your hands, all ye people. Anyone? I'm divorced. Anyone I just got out of prison. Anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done and even greater works. Because I'm going to be with the Father. 13 you can ask for. Is that a need or a want? Anything in my name. And I might do it. I will do it. So the Son can bring glory to the Father. Now, they must have been staring at him when he said that, like this. So he basically restates it in 14. Yes. See, you can tell that. Me? Yes. Ask me for anything in my name and I will do it. Number five. To help people believe in Him. Number six, Matthew 11, 20 and 21. Then began he to upbraid the cities or rebuke the cities, wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not. Woe unto thee, Shoreazin. Woe unto thee, Bethsaida. For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. So miracles are not just to go thanks God and then go back to snorting cocaine and dancing and stuff. They're to make, you know, wait a minute, this thing's real. And so the. The sin that got me into this mess, I'm repenting of it. And I'm going to. I'm going to do what the guys did in the Bible that got healed. I'm not only healing, getting healed, I'm going to follow Jesus from this point forward. Miracles lead to repentance. Can you say amen? Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the new campus pastor of Revival Today Church Arizona, Reverend TJ Malkandje and his wife, Pastor Kerry Malkandje and all their kids straight from Canada. Just got off the plane right now. Can you say Amen? All right. Be seated. I get insecure if the focus isn't on me. Number six. Jesus heals to lead to repentance and change. Number seven, Acts 2:22. Ye men of Israel, hear these words. Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves know. Number seven. Healing and miracles show approval of God's servants. They show. They make people treat you differently. Because it's not. This is not Some over caffeinated white guy that came to my country to tell about his God. You can't fake blind eyes coming open. I'm gonna tell you, you know, I'm not those most soft hearted individual, but that blind girl hugging me last night and saying thanks for praying for my eyes. She said I couldn't get people to do that. You know, people are afraid. Can you pray for the God will open my eyes. Here's some sunglasses. I'm more of a sore backs, bad dreams kind of guy. And you know what? I know exactly how those pastors feel because that's what I felt like. You almost in your flesh, you see somebody that's blind, you think, I hope they don't ask for prayer, you know. Has anybody ever heard of a. There's a small struggling pastor in Texas. His name's Joel Osteen. Anybody ever heard of him? He had a dad named John Osteen. And John Osteen was a Baptist. He pastored a huge Baptist church near Houston or in Houston. And then he got baptized in the Holy Spirit. And they don't like that too much. So they told him, you know, you're out. And then he was the opposite of Kenneth Hagin. Kenneth Hagin was Baptist. He got healed and thought the tongue stuff was nuts. John Osteen liked the tongues, but thought the healing stuff was nuts. So TL Osborne was coming to preach in Houston and he met with John Osteen, Joel's dad. This is a long time ago. He said, listen, we have pastors interview the people that get healed before we pull them up on the stage to testify. So I'll make you one of the interviewers. If you can tell we paid these people and it's all fake and they're faking, then you'll know. But if it's real, then you'll know it's real. So John liked that. So he said the first person that came up was a mother with a daughter. My daughter was born blind and she can see. And the mother was crying and praising God. And he said after that he said, not only did I believe, I repented to the Lord for doubting it. Well, the Lord speaks to him. He loses his big church, his salary, everything. He rents a feed store in Houston. And the Lord says, announce that the blind will see, the deaf will hear, the cripple will walk. And so he announces that he's never preached on healing before. He gives the invitation for if anyone wants to be healed and they wheel up somebody crippled from the neck down, blind in both Eyes and deaf in both ears with cancer. And he said it was like God, can we turn the difficulty level down a little bit? Jesus said, pray for him. So he said he laid hands on him and prayed. That guy got all those first person he prayed for. And that's where Lakewood started to spring from. You know, and I will say this, I've never met Joel Osteen. I've never interacted with him in any way. He doesn't know I exist. But I'll tell you when people. How does he have such a big house? You know, when you have a dad that spends all day Monday every week sending hundreds of thousands of dollars to missionaries all through India. India was his main place. He would go to India twice a year and because he couldn't be there, he'd send millions of dollars in the 80s. Then what do you think is going to happen to the children? The Bible says when you do what God tells you to do, your seed will be blessed. Joel's not the only one blessed. Both of his sisters blessed. His other brother is a doctor that does free medical care overseas. Because just like you can make bad choices that destroy your children, you can do something like you did today and come to the house of the lor and hear the word of God. And every battle you had to fight, your children will never have to fight those battles. And they'll enjoy the blessing of God. Get ready for a breakthrough for your family. Let me see. NLT a man approved by God with signs and wonders. People of Israel, listen. God publicly endorsed Jesus the Nazarene by doing powerful miracles, wonders and signs through him, as you well know. Numbers 8, Matthew 10, 7, 8, as ye go preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils freely you've received freely. Give number eight to announce the kingdom of God. Number nine. This one's powerful. John 6, 2. And a great multitude followed him because they saw his miracles, which he did on them that were diseased. There's a study that came out today that 90% of churches will never go above 250 their whole life. In their whole life. And this is year one. We're at 269, above 250 and climbing because. And one of the reasons is people know this is a place you can come to be healed. And it draws people. Brother Abraham that's with me, had to accompany a friend of his to the hospital. The doctor was from what African country? Cameroon. Cameroon. And they started talking. And what did he. What did he bring up about Christianity? He was new to Pittsburgh, moved there as a doctor from Cameroon. In Africa. French Africa. And what did he say? I'm looking for a church. Mentioned a type of church that we used to go to. And we told him, yeah, I. In Africa. I wanted, you know, he wanted like an African church where they believe the Bible, that kind. So said I, you know, I've been having trouble finding a church like that, like where they'll like pray for the sick and stuff. And he said, well, you should come. You know, that's. I had trouble finding it too. Here, I found one. It's revival today Church Pittsburgh. So they're talking. Where were you? In the lobby. The thing to talk to you. Yes. So that. Okay, I want to come to that church because of healing. Then as they're discussing a lady in the waiting room. Well, there was a lady in there and said, Jonathan Shuttlesworth. I said, yes, that's my pastor. And then she goes, I was in youth camps when I was a teenager and so mentions the name of the church that she used to go to. And I invited her to come to church. So she's going to come with her family as well. Yeah. Remember, because that youth camp that she was at, I, that was the, the week before I was going to go to Camden, New Jersey and hold that crusade. So I was on a 21 day fast. It was, I want to, you know, I don't know how to phrase it. It was like not a great youth camp because I was in like psycho mode. But people, you know, there was one girl that was blind in her one eye. When I lined everybody up to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, I wasn't really preaching a youth camp. I was just like flowing in the Holy Ghost. So I laid hands on her, said, close your eyes. She received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, went down the line praying for everybody. And when I got about five people down, her youth group started freaking out because she closed her eyes, received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. When she opened her eyes, both eyes could see. And I'll tell you, when I found out, I was preaching at a Redeemed Christian Church of God church near Baltimore, Maryland. That's from Nigeria. It was all Nigerians in Nigerian clothes. Then you had like seven redneck white people with mullets there. So out of curiosity, I went up to him and I said, hey, can I ask how you heard about this meeting? Not that you're not welcome, but I just was had the Sesame street song playing in my head one of these things is not like the other. They said, this is our daughter. And the other guy said, this is my niece. She was born blind in her eye. And when we sent her to the youth camp, you prayed for her. She could hear. We all wanted to come see it. And those were the people that got saved in that meeting. Those, those rural Maryland white folks came to that church because miracles draw crowds. Now, miracles won't keep crowds. Miracles draw them. The word keeps them, but the miracles draw them. And so if you're trying. See, basically all church growth classes that are taught in America should be titled. Since we're not going to have miracles, these other things help. But if you have miracles. I played that video before. Do you have Greg with the cane? This was in the soccer dome in Pittsburgh. This guy came right up to me with the cane. He had had a stroke, I think, that affected half of his body. Never been to church. And he walks up to me with the cane. He goes, excuse me. They said if I came here, I would be healed. Okay, So I prayed. Guy shoots out into the turf, gets up, picks up his cane, tosses it to the usher. And yet I'll let him tell it. My name is Greg. I came from Greensburg, Pennsy hours this morning for the first time over to this church. My cousin actually told me about this young. My cousin told me, you know where his cousin goes to church? Nowhere. When he had the stroke, because of them blabbing their mouths about our church on the news, meaning to shut it down. And everyone in Pittsburgh started to hear and look it up, his cousin said, you should go to that church and have them pray for you. You'll get healed. Did you know you actually can get more faith sometimes out of somebody that hasn't had unbelief sewn into them, that's never been in church? A Christian wants to go to that church, you'll get healed. They tell. Maybe it's God's plan. But that guy said, you should go to that church and you'll get healed. And why did he get healed? Because he wasn't coming to church to take in a service. He was coming to be healed. And I pray for the rest of your life, every time you come into the sanctuary, there'll be an expectation that God has something fresh for me today. Go ahead. Who is quite the minister here. I walked in here. Well, trotted in here using a cane because I had Ms. That's Mississippi walking. How does he know how to talk? Right? You can't even get Christians to talk like that. My cancer. Your cancer. What do you think? It's a teddy bear? It's mine. He didn't say I have Ms. He said I had Ms. Can you say amen? Hallelujah. Whatever you came in here having, that's not of God. You had it, but you're leaving out of here free. Whether the devil likes it or not. Hallelujah. His reign of terror is over. In your life continue was a real challenge for me. This gentleman over here across the way, he was off camera right now, saw you walk in here and found me after the sermon and introduced me to the pastor. And immediately I can actually feel my toes. I can feel my feet. I no longer need this. This thing. It is just absolute joyous that I can just actually know I can feel my toes and my feet. Like it is crazily crazy. I love it. Number number nine. To draw multitudes to hear him in his word. And a great multitude followed him because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased. Oh, there's that girl. Dang. You found that. I didn't even know I had a picture of that. There's the can. You can tell I've been fasting. That shirt. That shirt was a small. If I put that shirt on now, five buttons would kill five people. 2015. Jasmine, totally blind, knows the Philly one I was getting ready for. Yeah, I was in a different M.O. that was right after Adolesce hemorrhaged 37% of her blood out. Let me tell you something. If you could see me in the spirit, I was bare chested with like the Mexican cross of bullets and a sombrero and two six shooters. Jasmine, totally blind in her left eye, closed her eyes, received the Holy Ghost and opened them and could look at the joy on Greg's face. On her face. Hallelujah. I said hallelujah. I'm gonna give you a bonus one. Jesus heals to restore your joy sickness. I'll tell you the first time in Montreal when I walked in to pray for a girl with stage two cancer and I saw the parents in that oncology ward. Pediatric oncology. And no, not one smile. Everybody said, everybody awaiting test results to see whether their kids going to live or die. I said, this sickness is a work of the devil because Jesus came that you might have life and have it more abundantly. He came that your joy would be full. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. And one of the main ways he does that, theft, killing and destruction is through sickness and disease. And Jesus came that you might have life and have it more abundantly. And the way he restores that life is through his healing, miracle working power. My friend, for 23 years I've been watching people with their hands up, crying and giving glory to God and hugging their friend and tossing crutches. That is the work of Christ, to restore life. The things that made you sad, the things that sucked the joy out of your insides. The Lord puts it back by his miracle working power today. And a great multitude followed him because they saw his miracles which he did on them. Which were what? Disease. Jesus hates disease the same way he hates sickness. Same way he hates sin, he hates disease. Number nine to draw multitudes to him in his word. Number 10 to restore your joy. That's the and then I'll give you 1 bonus. 11. First John 3 8. He that committeth sin is of the devil. For the devil sinneth from the beginning. But for this purpose was the Son of God made manifest that he might destroy the works of the devil. Jesus didn't come to help you deal with the works of the devil, survive the works of the devil. You know, that's what they you ever notice at churches where they don't believe in healing and miracles, they always teach about Jesus is your anchor in the storm. Jesus is with you in the storm. Jesus never was an anchor in a storm. Jesus never put his arms around people in the storm. Jesus went to the edge of the boat and told the storm to shut up and calm the water. He does not come with you in life so you can survive the attacks of the devil. He accompanies you in life with his power to destroy the work of the devil. And I want you to see that. Because without knowing it, there's a multi trillion dollar ad campaign. You can't watch anything on TV without them talking about death and cancer, depression, suicide, all the work of the devil. And you start without knowing it thinking it's normal. You think it's normal to turn 50 and lose mobility? You think it's normal to be 55 and your eyes not work right anymore? You think it's normal to be pre diabetic or diabetic if the devil can convince you just like he convinces people that sin is normal? Basically, show me any show that has a preacher on it where the preacher is not living in sin or having an affair. The devil wants you to think this is fake. Nobody lives like this. Nobody lives free from sin and healing. Nobody. Everybody gets sick. Everybody's sick. But I'm telling you the word of God is true. The Same power that gives you dominion over sin, gives you dominion over all sickness and all disease. You're stepping into that dominion today in Arizona. Stand on your feet, everybody. Acts 10:38 Acts 10:38. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power. Who went about doing and healing how many who were oppressed by who for God was with them. That's Christ's ministry summed up in one verse by the apostle Peter. Satan is the oppressor, Jesus is the healer and he never changes. Denominations change, religion changes, people change, but Jesus never changes. Hebrews 13:8. Jesus Christ. The same yesterday, today and forever. Some people preach about Jesus. It's like you're talking about a once great athlete who is now old and can't pitch anymore or whatever. But that's not Jesus. He's still in his prime. Can you say Amen? He'll always be in his prime. Hallelujah. He enjoys healing people. He enjoys healing you because you're his child. Can you say Amen? Hallelujah. Just lift your hands. If you're filled with the spirit, begin to worship him in the Holy Ghost. If you're not yet filled with the spirit, just say stuff like, jesus, I love you, I worship you. You're awesome. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Now here's how we're going to minister today. So, you know, this irritated me a little bit. Who's the piano player? You know, I like this guy. You know how hard it is to find somebody to play an upbeat song at the end of the service? You're anointed, my friend. Thank God we don't have to listen to Happy Birthday. We got an actual gospel keyboard. When I was preaching in one of the towns, a guy wrote the next morning when I was doing the news, he said, I brought my wife for you to pray for it. But she didn't get prayer. It irritated me and I wasn't able to hide it. A, I stayed at the altar till everybody left and I never saw him. B, I said, what do you think it was? Was when I said, put your hand on the afflicted part of your body. I'm going to pray. If you can only receive by the laying on of hands, you're going to be in rough shape. When this church is at 3,000. You can't lay hands on 3,000 people every Sunday. So you have to learn to be able to receive from 20ft of 40ft. Don't just be a low post Christian who can only score under the Net learn to be able to receive from three point range. Can you say amen? So this is what's called the prayer of faith. But I will lay hands on one person, this guy in the, in the black T shirt and running shoes to stick three steps forward, lift both hands, close both eyes. Power of God's on you, my friend. Thank you Lord for your healing power. Jesus name, go right through you. Be healed in Jesus name. I want you to take your right hand and put it on the afflicted part of your body. If you've got like four things or nine things or 11 things, just put your hand on top of your head. That's your sign to God that you need an overhaul. Everybody that's watching online, you can do the same thing in your house. Just like we pray, you know, how can that lady receive a new liver by facetime? And somebody can't receive from six rows deep. Don't have any faith. Not you them. But you can work on the faith part. And I want to pray and wherever your hand is, I don't believe God that the nail scarred hand of Jesus passes under that hand and makes you well. I want to pray for one more person, this lady in the nice pink. Pink. There's like pink flowers. You mind if I pray for you? You don't even have to come up to the altar. Just step out into the aisle. I feel like that, that guy Greg with the cane. I feel like you came, somebody told you like you can get healed here and you believe them. Lift both hands, close both eyes. That's it. Now, as hard as life's been for the last 15 years from today, it's going to get that easy. Jesus, yes. Everybody say, I have faith, not unbelief. How come those ladies at Lupita's Hot Dogs in Phoenix came out and said, you're a preacher. Will you pray for us? Not you're a preacher, you. You trick me. I don't like you could have done either one. They decided to believe. When you decide to believe, when you decide to not believe, you shut off God's ability to help you. He can't, he can't move where there's. He won't move where there's unbelief. But when there's faith, it draws on his power. Can you say amen? Close both eyes in the name of be healed. Father, I thank many testimonies after today from this service. People that came in here sick came in here bound and left, never came back. All everybody had it in their mind they're going to be in a continuous battle. God will give them like a little help today then. No, I thank you that the sickness and disease is eradicated by the blood of Jesus Christ. We receive that today. Let me pray for my, my brother here. Come right out. Put your hands where the cancer is. In Jesus name, I curse that cancer you found. Devil that tries to take this man out early. I rebuke you and your word. In Jesus name, be healed. In Jesus name, be healed. Be healed. Praise God. Now with your hands lifted, just say this from your heart. Thank you Jesus for healing my body, for delivering me from every oppression of the devil. In Jesus name, you can put your hands down. Every head bowed, every eye closed. The word for salvation in the Bible is S O Z O sozo, which is basically the healing, restoration and deliverance of the entire man. So I think a lot of times altar calls are smaller than they should be because people on, off the street don't know what salvation is, but they know they need healed. They know there's something on the inside of them that's wrong, that they've tried to wash it away with alcohol, smoke it away, do everything to get it to go away, but it won't go away. But the blood of Jesus will heal you from the inside out. If you have never received Jesus Christ as your savior and you've never turned your back on sin, and you say, Jonathan, today I want Jesus to heal me from the inside out and make me new. Heal me from sin, deliver me from things that bind and destroy my life. Jesus will do that for you, but he won't kick the door down and come in. You have to invite him in. You have to surrender your life. So if you're here and you say, Jonathan, today when you pray for people to be healed on their insides, for Jesus to save them, to come into their heart, I want you to pray that with me. I want today to be to mark a new, a different life. A new life, a new beginning. Old things passed away. All things new. If that's you, let me see your hand up high. In Jesus name, I see you. Who else? I see you. Everyone that lifted a hand, come out of your seat and I'm gonna pray with you right now. Won't be long, but it's gonna be powerful. Go ahead and clap for them as they come in. Jesus, Come right up. Who else before we pray? I want Christ today. I want to give him my whole self. Yes. Awesome. Anybody else before we pray? Lift both your hands to the Lord. I want to give you the Word, the words to pray. Oh awesome. Praise the Lord. I'm a happy man today. Lift both hands to the Lord across the front. Pray this from your own heart. Our real God hears you. Pray it and then does a mighty work in your life. Say this out loud. Heavenly Father, I've come forward today to give you my life. Forgive me of all my sins. I repent. I believe in my heart you raised Jesus from the dead. I confess with my mouth Jesus is Lord and my Savior. Right now I receive forgiveness by the blood of Jesus I am saved, I am forgiven. I am clean. In Jesus name Amen. Thank you for sharing the Jonathan Shuttlesworth Podcast. Host: Jonathan Shuttlesworth (with remarks from Adalis and guest testimonials)
This episode centers on a deep Biblical teaching of the ten reasons why Jesus heals, delivered with passion and a focus on practical ministry. Drawing from Scripture, real-life testimonies, and personal anecdotes, Jonathan Shuttlesworth unpacks how healing is core to the Christian message—showing God’s compassion, glory, and power, while also challenging religious norms and inviting listeners to participate in healing ministry.
Jonathan’s delivery is energetic, direct, and often humorous, intentionally bypassing religious euphemisms in favor of bold statements of faith. He frequently interweaves personal testimony, contemporary analogies, and encouragement aimed at both skeptics and believers. There’s a strong expectation for active participation—belief, receiving healing, and publicly declaring faith.
This episode serves as a potent challenge to passive Christianity and religious skepticism, with Jonathan Shuttlesworth asserting that healing is not peripheral but central to Christ’s work. Through doctrine, storytelling, and live ministry, listeners are invited to expect healing, pursue it for themselves and others, and recognize it as essential evidence of the gospel’s reality in a skeptical world. The podcast ends with collective prayer for healing and salvation, affirming the ongoing, tangible impact of Jesus' ministry.
