Reality star, sister, daughter, and total delight sometimes. Everybody, welcome back. Lala Kent.
B
Hello, my love. You know I will only do your podcast.
A
I appreciate that.
B
I get in too much trouble.
A
Look what happened to me yesterday. Apparently, someone so ugly. Okay.
B
No. Okay. So I think you look good without makeup on.
A
Well, thank you. You know what? I.
B
Where they catch you? Where is this?
A
This is at Calabasas Starbucks. So I think that the TMZ was waiting for someone more exciting, but I walked out. No, I didn't have makeup. I was on my way to get a facial from my girl Susanna Menendez. Calabasas facials. Okay, So I didn't have makeup on, and I was getting a coffee, but they're asking me about the. The thing I've been talking a lot about. Ryan Reynolds, Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively, you know, since I did the show. Just a couple days ago, the voicemail came out, the voice note that he left for her.
B
What did it say?
A
Well, he sounds sexy as shit. Okay. So everyone's, like, getting wet listening to him. Like, is this cat on cameo? What can we do? And he left this. He released it.
B
Okay.
A
And it came, and I thought he had to save it, But I guess if it's a voice memo that you send to somebody, it automatically saves on your phone, which I did not know because I'm like, if I left you a voicemail I would never know how to retreat retrieve that.
B
Oh, it's like a voice. It's not a voice memo. It's a voicemail. Like a message.
A
No, it wasn't a voicemail. It's a voice memo. And somehow he had it, you know, from like two years ago. And so my initial thought was what compelled him to save it.
B
He released it on his own.
A
It wasn't. Yeah, he's releasing all the evidence from his $400 million lawsuit, which apparently someone discovered that Blake and Justin are worth 100 million.
B
Okay.
A
And so this is four times what they're worth that he's suing them for. And he put it out, he shared this because some people thought it sounded too sexy. Cuz he has such a sexy voice.
B
Right.
A
And it was six minutes long and he's like, blake, God, I hope I'm not waking you up right now. I just want to say, man, I'm so sorry if you're not feeling supportive because, God, I don't want that. I don't want that. You've shared so much. You're vulnerable about other directors and I want you to be part of this. My love to Ryan. And what he's responding to is when she said, my two dragons, Ryan and Taylor Swift helped me rewrite this rooftop scene and gave it to him. And he was like, yeah, I like the changes. And then she wrote back something to the effect of like, I wish. I don't know how I feel about that. I wish you were more specific, like what you liked about it, what you didn't. So she left that text to him at 1:44am and then he chose to just leave her a voice note instead. Quicker.
B
Yeah.
A
And so he did that. And so to clear up any confusion, if some people still think it was creepy because he was like, oh, God, I'm sorry, maybe you've got kids crawling on you, you probably have a baby on your boob. Because she was breastfeeding at the time, so people thought that was a little invasive. At the same time, though, there's evidence that she was like, yeah, come into my trailer, I'm pumping, or I'm breastfeeding. And she was okay with, I'm sure, having herself covered, but doing that while she was talking about notes.
B
Right.
A
So he was establishing in this how close and how accommodating he was. And he was placating her changes and really wanting to make this work.
B
What is she saying that he has done? Cause it's a sexual harassment.
A
So that's. She had put out this complaint about all the different times that she felt uncomfortable, that he said strange things, that he tried to, you know, kiss her neck when it wasn't called for in the script, when there was, you know, there was plenty. But then in his countersuit, he really has combated every single one of her complaints. So now the biggest thing is. And listen, I know I've talked a lot about this, so we are going to talk about other things with Lala today. But the biggest thing is the juiciest part of it that I touched upon in my last episode. But now I really think it's. The thing is that there is a sequel to this book. It ends with us, it starts with us, and it's about she and the character of Justin. Blake and Justin, if they were to both stay in it now, co parenting.
B
I think they can both stay in it.
A
Yeah, co parenting. But he has the rights to the second book. And the writer has been very much from the beginning now she's gone silent. Team Blake and Ryan. And so now the idea is apparently there is something in his deal in which he has the rights to the second movie. He can lose those rights if he violates any kind of morality clause. And specifically, it's sexual harassment. So the theory, I mean, the whole.
B
Book really is about abuse. Right, right. In the movie.
A
It's crazy. So then, so now the thought is, was this exaggerated brought on in attempt to have him lose his rights to the second movie so she and her.
B
Husband can be in it or take.
A
It over or, you know, recast him or be in charge of the movie? Because right now it's in his hands and it's staying in his hands. And apparently he'd already been offered to sell it and he said no.
B
Do you think that this will be like, covered by media? Kind of like the Amber Heard Johnny Depp?
A
Well, as of two days ago, I predicted that they would settle out of court. But just yesterday they have a date. A court date.
B
Okay.
A
But it's not for March of 26.
B
Oh, shit. It's over a year.
A
People that are already sick of this. I mean, we gotta move on. But anyway, I think they'll settle it.
B
Just because there's a court date. You could settle at any. You could settle the day before your court date.
A
I think they should. I think they should figure something out and be like, you know, but I think the damage is done. But like I said before, people recover, just. Just go away for like a year and everyone will forget. Everyone will forget that you were kind of a Dick.
B
The news cycle just moves.
A
Meaning Ryan Reynolds, not Justin.
B
Oh, is Ryan Reynolds a dick?
A
Yeah, you. You need to listen to Juicy. I've talked too much about. I'm not going to bore my people. I've got Lala in here and Lala.
B
I'll go back and listen. I'll go back and listen.
A
Watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and tell me what you're thinking of this season.
B
Well, I'm obsessed with Beverly Hills every season, even when they have kind of like an off season.
A
Me too.
B
I'll never stop, never give up, Never. I think it's great. I feel really badly for Kyle right now.
A
You do?
B
I do. I.
A
You're one of the few.
B
Really?
A
Yeah. I don't think she's getting a lot.
B
Of love because of the text message.
A
Yes. And just people are, like, tired of her shit or whatever.
B
But what show? I don't get it. I. Here's the thing. And I love Dorit too. This is one of very few casts where I'm like. I literally, like. Like, no one really annoys me.
A
I agree.
B
Love everyone for their quirky, weird little ways. Sutton kills me. But there was. I think it was last night on Watch what happens live. And they cut to a clip of Garcelle being like, I think Kyle's a little lost right now. No fucking shit, Sherlock. She's been in a relationship for 27 years. She's always known herself as a wife and a mom. Her baby just turned 16 and she's looking at her life going, this was not the game plan. Of course you're gonna be a little confused and lost. And I feel like no one's giving her any grace.
A
Well, that's what I love about Erika Jayne in the last year, but especially this past season. Love it. I love that her voice has changed. It's not the same voice even. And I love it because she's just like a cool. Shit. She's cool as shit. She's the voice of reason. She's a good girlfriend. And she says. So they go to lunch and Kyle is there. And she is there to apologize to Sutton, Garcelle and Erica to say, like, I got really upset at the manly hands massage day.
B
Yeah. That I wanted to be there between the chef and the.
A
I've had manly hands come to an event of mine.
B
Really.
A
Years ago. So good.
B
Fuck.
A
So good. Let's do it.
B
Where was my invite?
A
Screw the next.
B
I would have let them all run train.
A
I know, I know Ocean's birthday is coming up, but maybe we have Ocean's birthday. But we also have manly hands for the moms.
B
Come to the slime place when the kids make slime.
A
Oh, do it at your house and get all, like, have them do this. Have the kids stuff, and then the moms can get a little manly hands in the corner.
B
Love this idea.
A
Yes.
B
Because I was getting off in that scene. I was like, oh, my God, I know. We're all really, really hot. But she stood by the sentiment. She just didn't stand behind her, like, leaving in a huff and puff.
A
Right. So she was like, I'm sorry. And Sutton was being so awful. Well, I don't understand. What exactly are you sorry for?
B
It was like, am I making sense?
A
Yeah. It was so weird.
B
It was just like, did you say that you're sorry for. And it's like, oh.
A
I was like, I'm sorry. Are we. Is she up for murder? And Sutton is, like, the bad cop that comes in, and she's on, like, hour five until the final point. Kyle just gonna commit to killing someone. She didn't. Cause it was just like. She was like, okay, so. And I'm like. And then she says it then. And you can relate to this, being a reality star, where I'm like, no. For some reason, she acts like they are all working at a factory. And Kyle got to leave before the whistle blew.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, she was literally like, why are you get to walk out? Whatever. It's a good scene. And anybody, any normal person would walk out at that point.
B
Like, I understood, because, you know, when you're. You're kind of being pushed in a corner, and you. You don't know how to defend yourself because there's nothing to defend.
A
Right.
B
That is the worst position to be put in. It's like, I don't even know what to say to make this look, because I. There's nothing that I did wrong. Like, I don't know how to defend something that doesn't need defending.
A
I didn't think Kyle behaved poorly at all in that moment. You know, she didn't think she was doing anything wrong. You can't.
B
She spent 27 years with Mo, and then she's gonna, like, be with PK.
A
No. I mean, but I did think. Yes, she should have recognized you stopped communication. I actually said 100% about you in a previous episode, because I was like. When you had your breakup with your ex and I was friendly with him, and then I had to be like, I'm not talking to him anymore. And that was it, like, right in the very, very beginning. When I didn't know what anything was wrong. And he was like, you have to talk to Lala.
B
And I was like, yeah, no, I'm very flawed.
A
So I was like, right off the bat, I was like. And then I remember I was going through a Starbucks drive through, and you were like, I need to. I'm asking all my friends, like, can you not? And I'm like, oh, it's been weeks, and I will never. So. But I can see, you know, she might have thought it wasn't as contentious their breakup. And it was okay. And it was just. But. But regardless, no, you dump, you know, and we see last night that she kind of goes, okay, I got it. Stick with the girl. But what I loved about Erika Jayne is Erika's in her interview is like Garcelle. Like, you did a public announcement by sending an email to all of CAA that your husband was cheating with this woman for five years in Chicago. And Sutton, we were. I'm guessing you didn't have a great breakup. And we still don't really know much about it.
B
Right.
A
So you both have been through a divorce. Like, why are you not giving her a little grace? And, you know, and Erica went through the worst situation.
B
Totally.
A
And so I love that Erica is, like, the only one. Like, she's being nice to Dorit. She's being nice. Like, she's the only voice of reason. And like, a girl's girl, like a cool woman that's, like, been through some shit. Like, it's very nice to see.
B
It's very nice to see. But I. I understand why Dorit is having her moment. There's something about. And the Bravo fan base. They're definitely intelligent. Like, that's just a known fact.
A
Yeah.
B
But they do love a scorned woman who is angry because they with me hard season 10 when I was scorned out for blood. I was taking no prisoners. They loved me. They do not. Like a compassionate calm has your shit together. Not at all. They want, like, so that's why they love.
A
That's why they love Shannon Mador. Cause when her life is tragic. Wish it was this past year when she was, you know, going through weight struggles. She told me herself, I've never been more popular.
B
Yeah. And so I'm like, they do.
A
They like it.
B
And I love that because that's when we need to be supported. Right. So Dorit is having her moment of like, I'm fed up. We don't know what it was like behind closed doors with she and pk but people are she's like the star of. And before, it was just kind of like, she shows up in Chanel. And, like, I watched her just because I loved. She was just so fun to look at.
A
Right, right. But when I think about the clothes, since we're talking about the clothes.
B
Yeah.
A
So she went out with Bose for a drink on yesterday's show, and she's wearing a, you know, a Louis Vuitton top.
B
Yeah.
A
I love that. And it's always. Except for that one time when she said it was vintage when she went to Kyle's cowboy party. This is Louis Vuitton vintage.
B
Y.
A
This is from my collection. And I mean, it's not counterfeit. It's not old. She's not brand new. Not getting it for free.
B
New.
A
She's paying for it all. And okay, I gotta say, if I had. If Peter was spending that kind of money on luxury items for himself, and we were a little bit financially struggling, and it was going on for the last five years of our marriage with the glam and the whole thing and not thinking about, well, maybe I could do my own fake pony. Maybe I could not wear another $7,500 outfit to go work out in. I think that can add to their problems.
B
I mean, she's decked to the nines.
A
Even if she resells it, it's still not. Still not getting. No, you get 50%. Yeah.
B
Even the time alone in doing that isn't worth it. Communicating with some random person is not fucking worth it. This is going to Goodwill drop off. See you later. But that bodysuit. There's an account that posts all that. I know. I don't know why it doesn't get more love. There's, like, one comment, and I apologize.
A
That we don't have her name at the top of her head, but it is cool because sometimes you see something, you're like, oh, I love that. And sometimes it will be, you know, Zara. And then other times, it's $7,200 for a bikini bag.
B
36 grand. Yeah, that. That onesie that she was wearing, the Louis. I know what you're talking about. The purple one, I think it was, like, over three grand.
A
I've never had one piece of clothing in that price range. I've had, you know, maybe a bag or a piece of jewelry, but that's just me. And that's fine. I spend my money differently than others. But I'm like, that is exorbitant.
B
Well, it's every house.
A
And your house is in. Was in pre foreclosure. I don't know where it is now. I don't know what's going on with that. But we see in the preview that she's like, he is filing because. And then Erica. Oh, before the 10 years. Before the 10 years.
B
Wow. Smart motherfucker.
A
I remember, I think Tom Cruise did that to Nicole Kidman. He did it right at like nine and a half years.
B
Well, then you only owe alimony for half the time you were married.
A
So, yeah.
B
That makes.
A
Right. And if you go past the 10 years, you owe alimony till the day she marries someone else or dies.
B
Yeah, exactly.
A
And so a lot of people then are like, well, I'm never going to take another spouse. I'll have. I could. You could have a boyfriend live with you for the next 30 years if you're in that situation. To someone really rich. Yeah.
B
Because I don't know that common law marriage exists in California.
A
It. I think. And I don't know everything, but I think it did before same sex was approved.
B
Okay.
A
And then somehow same sex kind of like crossed that out. Where the palimony, like, the palimony doesn't really exist anymore because.
B
What does that mean? Like, if you just lived with someone and then you get alimony.
A
Yes. So like, if you were with someone for 20 years, and especially if you were gay, it was a good thing to have because you couldn't get married. So you could be like, oh, my God, you know, I was with this guy and I took care of the home and the dogs and da, da, da. I should be entitled to that.
B
Same sex marriage was passed.
A
And then they said. And then I feel like that I'm not 100% sure, but I think that went away because every time I get married, everyone can get married. So we're just going to go by the marriage laws and not try to decipher what the relationship is anymore. And I'm just assuming that because I.
B
Don'T hear about it every time I look it up, it does not exist here.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, it's not even acknowledged. Which I do love that part because as someone who doesn't want to get, like, married like that.
A
Yeah.
B
I want to know that I could shack up with someone and not have to deal with the same type of issue, you know?
A
Yeah.
B
I'm not a big inheritor. I don't want to inherit your beef. I don't want to inherit your debts. I don't want to inherit nothing from you.
A
Right.
B
Which you do with that contract.
A

And I want to also ask you, as someone who has been sober for how many years now?
B
Six. Over six.
A
Six.
B
Yeah.
A
And what did you think of that scene where Dorit says we were meeting with his sober coach or whatever? Al Anon. What did you call? What do you call it? Sponsor.
B
Sponsor.
A
We're meeting with a sponsor because PK is sober and the sponsor is the one who suggested, I think you guys should separate. And she's like, I was blown away. And I didn't know if that. If PK had told him that or if this guy was just coming up with it on his own. And I thought that was very strange. I know there's no like real rules. You know, it's not like as you're a sponsor, you. But I would think there's like something to adhere to if you choose to be a sponsor in the AA program. Right.
B
Well, there I remember when I first got into AA and I started talking about it, my then sponsor was like, hey, like, like the rules are you don't do X, y and Z. Like you don't talk about it. And I said, well, that's great for all of you. I won't mention that you guys are in it. But like I'm in the public eye. The program is single handedly keeping me sober. There's people like me. So I'm gonna talk about a program that exists for other people to know about. I won't mention your names. And you know, she, she. She put her guard down and was like, that makes total sense. I really think it depends on who you are, how you practice your program. Dorit. I wonder if. Cause when she first brought up like, my husband's an alcoholic, I immediately went like, not your story to tell. You should not be outing him as that.
A
And I felt like that's where Kyle was team PK too. She was like, he doesn't have a place like she does. Cause he's just the husband who even if he does a scene with Mauricio, I don't even know if he's getting paid, because the way it works is the wife gets paid and everybody else signs off on it. So I'm like, he doesn't. She was like, he doesn't really have the same platform, the same place that Dorit has. She's the one on the show. She's the one that can say the story first.
B
Right.
A
And so her saying he was a raging alcoholic and I covered up for him for 10 years because he did.
B
Not mention any sort of drinking problem when he sat down with Mo. So I was a little. I was confused by that. Yeah, but who's to say if she had a conversation with him and said, can I talk about this on camera? That he didn't say? Sure, you can talk about your perspective. This is your show. We don't know. He could have said that. And I want to give her the benefit of the doubt because, you know, I do like her. She and I had a really great time in New York, and we had a really fun conversation.
A
She's fun, and I like.
B
She's great. And again, I like all of these women. There's not one that I'm like, fuck this bitch. I don't want to see her on my screen. I want to say that he told her, whatever you want to talk about. He knows what he signed up for. Right. He appears on camera, too.
A
But you said that kind of made you go, mm. Like you didn't at the very beginning, I didn't like that she was saying that.
B
Well, I just know the way that I practice my program. I would not. I'm out talking about my sobriety, but no one else can have one fucking word about my sobriety and my story. Like, that's not your story to share. So it was. I was taken aback when she said, I'm married to an alcoholic. It's like, well, if he's in a program that's anonymous, and unless he's out here talking about it, he needs to be present when you're talking about his alcoholism, quote, unquote.
A
I think she is coming from a place that I feel like she has, like, was, you know, like, covering. Like, she said I was coming up for him. I was doing all this stuff I got on the show. Cause he wanted to do, and I. And he was a dick and everything. But I was willing to stay till the end. Like, I've had friends where they're not in a happy marriage, really, but they were like, I'll stay Till, you know, till you die. Till we die. And then they are surprised when all of a sudden someone comes in and hands them the, you know, the notice of I'm filed and they're absolutely shocked. And they're like, I knew it wasn't gonna marriage, but I wasn't ready to. To leave. Like I was gonna just put up with it. I thought we were just gonna be one of those miserable couples till we die.
B
Well, people get comfortable. People get addicted to the comfortability.
A
So I think she is coming. This is a while ago, you know, this is like 9 months ago or whenever this was filmed. And I think she was really coming off a place of being really quite shocked. And we see it in real time, which is very compelling to watch, where we talk every day. We're best friends to. Oh my God. Now, like clearly, I mean, now I. I have no doubt that they will eventually divorce. I think, like, there's no way they're gonna make it.
B
No. And I think that once she. Once there's that. That final, you know, stamp that you're on your own and go do your thing. I think what kind of. And I shared this with her. I was like, what kind of revived me is when like I went out and met someone and it was like, it was supposed to just be a one night stand. And it like truly revived me. Like, I felt like that was when I could really move on and know, like, okay, I'm still like, the only.
A
Way to get over someone is to get under someone new.
B
Yes. And you start feeling that, like, oh, I like, I feel sexy and why do I feel like I want to? You know, you fall into it. I think you need this person anymore.
A
She needs to get laid. She needs to be romanced and get laid. And I think sometimes when you're in mommy mode and you have been in kind of a sexless marriage with these, they both kind of admit that that was it for a while. I think that you can get to a place where you don't really miss it. I think there are women that they don't really know what they're missing. It's like when you give up whatever, something your favorite thing to eat, and then you're like, oh my God, I haven't had McDonald's in like five years. Then you're on a road trip and you're like this fucking sandwich. Like, oh my God. Like, you're like, toes are curling. And so it's like. I think that can kind of happen.
B
No, I think it with women when.
A
You'Re so in mommy mode and you're so busy and you're in career mode and you're like, I don't. I'm not looking for it. I'm not out flirting. I'm not, you know, But I would love to see her date someone that kind of sweeps her off her feet.
B
I think we're gonna see that.
A
Yeah. What do you think about now? Some people feel that Garcelle and Sutton, you know, are not really giving that much to the show. But I feel like.
B
But do they ever.
A
No, I mean, what are they supposed to do? Like, they don't have men, so you can't have that storyline. Yeah.
B
I mean, I like them as an addition.
A
Yeah. And how do you feel about the Jennifer Tilly?
B
How do you not love her? There's not one thing that she could say or do that would make me not love her. But also there's thanking Sam in every confessional for all the cool shit she gets to buy. I'm like, you're in a real world husband who passed.
A
I think she's really fun, and I think she's like a fun little perk that kind of takes that Kathy Hilton role.
B
I don't think they're ever going to give her. What do they hold? A diamond.
A
She's got nothing to lose. She doesn't have a child that can hate her for being on tv. She doesn't have an ex husband who could hate her for being on tv. She has a boyfriend that we don't.
B
See who is a poker player.
A
But, however, we're not really seeing much of her life except for her possessions.
B
No. But I think that that's what's fun about her. She comes in, shows us her weird little fucking. A boat bag from Louis Vuitton that caused like, as much as someone's car.
A
Or a boat.
B
Or a boat. An actual boat. Like, I just think she adds that lightheartedness.
A
Yeah.
B
And it's not like she needs the paycheck.
A
No. That's why I think they're not gonna fuck with her and try to, like, ruin her life with a weird storyline. But. So I think she'll come next. Back next year. But, like, if it just kind of continues on this path, she might be like, I'm good after. I don't know, like, something needs to happen. Yeah. She's also a voice of reason.
B
She's a voice of reason, but I can tell, like, she's calm.
A
Yeah.
B
But one wrong move, she will demolish you. Right. Like, those are the ones. The ones that are Very calm. I'm like, oh, see, I'm a. Well, I'm like a barker, right? Not much of a biter. Like, you don't really need to worry about me. I'm like, all. I can't blow.
A
I can't. Again, one thing I don't believe. I just don't believe that she wants to have another baby. I think that is kind of a little bit of a storyline. Who would want to have. I know people do for your boyfriend, but she's 47 or 48, no exhaust. And her daughter is, like, already 16.
B
16.
A
I don't know, but that's always a story. Remember when Luann said she wanted to have another baby with. With the French guy?
B
Yeah. And then Ramona takes a pregnancy.
A
Oh, my God, my period is late.
B
She's like, I have my period. I have my period right now.
A
And then Kim Riptridge was like, I want to have another baby. And Kyle's like, what? Remember when Kyle Richard was dating the guy that she met on her mailbox?
B
She didn't say, I want to have another baby. She goes, I'm going to have a baby. She's like, are you sure it's not something else? It's at sir. And she's kind of like taking the trash out of the fucking limo.
A
No, the limo was another episode first.
B
It's the same season, though.
A
It's the same season. It's like, what? Lipstick. But remember, remember she was dating Kim Richards. She was dating that really unattractive guy that Brandy Glanville called that. He looked like a dog mastiff or something. I'm always like, where is that guy? Like, like, where is that guy?
B
Where is that guy?
A
Where is that guy from New Jersey? That was Daniel Stobbs guy that was like, basically a gangster with long hair. Danny. Like, where is Danny?
B
How they roll up into that? Very, like, it was such a cute woman for the woman whose child had, like, cancer or something, right?
A
You're like, what are you guys talking about? When you know. You know this. It's like the vintage. It's so good.
B
Everyone knows that. The brownstone, you guys, you know.
A
Do you. Now here's the question, because I, you know, I've talked about this so much. I've taken a strong, unique stand recently on. I don't think Kyle's a lesbian. And I don't know that she and Morgan were ever anything but friends. And that's my shocking statement.
B
No, she seemed too conflicted.
A
What do you think?
B
I think maybe they had moments of, like, I Don't think that they ever had sex or, you know, I don't think that she ate her box or anything like that. I think there were moments of maybe, like, laying in bed together in some cuddles and it feeling like, okay, this feels like more than a friend, and I'm seeing myself.
A
Yeah.
B
Could I see myself with this person?
A
No.
B
She seemed too conflicted at the reunion about that. Like, she was battling. I don't know what I want. And I've eaten a few cookie in my day, and it is kind of confusing. You're like, all right, well. And I think that's, you know, she gave up drinking.
A
Right.
B
She's desperate for clarity.
A
Right. I said she didn't have a midlife crisis. She had a midlife awakening.
B
Yeah.
A
It was an awakening of being sober, working out, stepping away from Mo. But it now feels like there's some regret of making it so easy for Mo and her to live separately. Like, she's. His life is so easy. He's in a concierge run penthouse that was staged beautifully. His daughter can see he works with three of the daughters. And the other daughter got a Porsche that she can come over anytime she wants.
B
The last episode, she slept at her dad's.
A
Right. So his relationship with his kids are not suffering at all because they waited so long. You want the house in Aspen this week? Great. I'll take it next week. I'll go to La Quinta instead with my Dancing with the Stars partner or whatever. And she has to be like, oh, okay. Did you get the sheets I sent you? That's all right. I already got sheets.
B
What?
A
Like, I just kind of like. I feel like that is honestly the juiciest part for someone like me that's been married for, like, a really long time, who's now, like, basically an empty nester. And, yeah, you might, like, be over your husband sometimes, but then you're like. But, you know, I don't know. Like, I don't think. He's not giving him. He's definitely having his cake and eating it, too. He's not missing anything. They're not splitting up the money. He doesn't care that he's not at the Encino house with the four dogs. No. He doesn't miss the dogs.
B
No. That's really sad. Men are just very different than women.
A
They are.
B
And I don't think we're supposed to be together.
A
I mean, yeah, I do think gay men are the happiest couples.
B
They are. Have you gone to Palm Springs?
A
I mean, I. They are the happiest.
B
A dreamland.
A
They are the happy. And also because many of them, you know, have maybe not a total monogamous relationship for 40 years, but they can stay together for 40 years because they're men. Yeah. And they see things in a different way than we do.
B
When you talk to. It's like we miss the. The little things. Like we. We were gonna grow old together and like watch our grandkids come through these doors where like a dude doesn't think about that. He's like I. A 22 year old last night. Life is awesome. You know. Right. We don't think that way. We are. We like memories.
A
Yeah. And we like experiences. Yes.
B
And we hold on to those things. Men are more in the moment of. Oh my gosh, we got the wop. We're popping champagne. It's very. We're not supposed to be together.
A
Well, let me get. Let me get into this breakup that I'm a little bit obsessed with since we're talking about this.
B
Oh, what is this?
A
This is Matt James and Rachel Kirkconnell. Okay.
B
Okay. 28 years old, she's a baby. They were gonna get married.
A
Okay. So let me tell you the whole story. Cause I am obsessed.
B
Okay, Tell me.
A
I watched this whole season and he was the first black bachelor. And his mom was white, his dad was black. But they broke up when they were young. And his mom was very attractive and. And he was delight. Okay. And so she. So they. They've been together four years. But I'm gonna. So. But they've broken up. But I wanna tell you what's interesting about a couple things. So she goes on call her daddy. And I listened and honestly it's heartbreaking because people should realize this is what happened with this girl. This guy did not stick up for her a few times. And she should have believed it the first time. And this is the controversial part that I'm the only one talking about it. And even I believe she and call her daddy Alex danced around a little bit. And the controversy is they were on the show post George Floyd, Black Lives Matter, but really close to it. Like the world was at a racist racial talking all the time. Right. And while the show is going on.
B
And she's in 2020.
A
Yes.
B
This place. Okay.
A
And while. Or 21 or whatever. While it's going on, she is a front runner and somebody goes deep dive and sees that. When she was a freshman in college, she went to a fraternity party where the theme was Antebella. Antebella. Whatever the like wearing the Civil War Type outfits.
B
Like lady antebellum type.
A
Yes, like, wearing the Civil War outfits. And.
B
Okay.
A
And actually had nationally said, stop doing that theme. And these people did it. And she attended school. I'm not sure, but she was just there in a photo.
B
It's a strange theory to have.
A
Yes, it is. It's awful. But she was 18 and she was invited, and she went with her sorority sisters, and she's in a photo.
B
Okay, okay. All right.
A
So cut to, you know. And I've told this story before, but I just think it's interesting. So Chris Harrison, the host of it for 20 years, he's doing an interview promoting something else. And the host asks him about these photos of Rachel. Now, he, I believe, you know, he has the knowledge that she's the front runner, but he's. I think he's protecting everything. But in it, he's like, this is crazy. She's. You know, he also has young college kids at that age, and he's like, this is a college kid that went to a party and, you know, like.
B
Didn'T understand, like, the gravity of what she was doing.
A
Yes.
B
It was more like, this is just a platform for me to go get wasted with my friends.
A
He was just. He was saying, let's give some of these kids some grace when they make a decision where they, you know, we didn't know. It doesn't. She. Okay. It was bad, but it wasn't like, oh, my God. Did you know that she and her family were, you know, part of the Ku Klux Klan? It wasn't that. Okay. But at the time, it was like, oh, my God. It was the height of cancel Right Culture.
B
Right.
A
So she doesn't really know this is going on. This is what I'm gathering from what I'm listening, and I don't have the purpose. And she says in the interview, we are getting along. We're having, you know, our alone time off camera in the fantasy suites and, you know, everything.
B
That's where they have sex, right?
A
Yes. And so then she says, so. But then all of a sudden they're like, you know, we don't have an engagement. We don't. Like, we. No, he doesn't ask anyone to get married and we don't have an engagement. And it felt like the producers were sort of annoyed that we didn't have our engagement. Then between that and then after the rose, all this stuff explodes where she is, like, public enemy number one. But she's very careful. She doesn't really share this, of how she's feeling. But Then she goes back on the show. They have a different host. Cuz they fired Chris Harrison for that, for his comments in defending her.
B
Really?
A
Yes.
B
Where have I been?
A
Because nobody talks about this because it's too sensitive. But I don't fucking care. It's 2025 and I'm fascinated by the story because it's like a moment in history that needs to be discussed. Discussed. Because basically they bullied him to not be with her. The public, everybody was like, don't be with Rachel because she went to that party. Okay, okay. So she has to come out there and they have a new host who is a black guy and he was good at the job. And Matt James won't barely look at her. And he's like, could you give her a hug? And he's like, no. And she is shunned. I have to work on myself. I have to, you know, learn. So she leaves and then. But he's still talking to her every day. They're secretly seeing each other.
B
So on camera he shuns her for the photos.
A
Yes. And because of all the public of like, how could you be a black man with this woman?
B
Okay, okay.
A
So I remember at the time I was like, this is. This is our version of the 1960s. This is crazy that, that the public won't let this couple be together when.
B
He wants to be with her, period.
A
Yes, he wants to be with her, but he's so wrapped up in everybody in his ear and talking about and this career that he's now having in tv, he's like, I can't fuck with you. So they are in all purposes of everybody in the world, they are broken up. I find out when I do my guest spot on the Bachelor where it was the cute. It was this cute girl, Katie. She was a bachelorette, okay? So I'm there and I get the scoop from people. And the scoop is they're secretly seeing each other.
B
Oh, we got the juicy scoop.
A
And I go, what? That is the saddest thing I've ever heard. Like, that is. So why are people not seeing that? This is sad that the social media, everybody is making him be like, you can't be with this girl because you're black and she's white. Literally, that's what it was. So she secretly is talking to him and seeing him now. She reveals that also at that time, someone sends something to reality Steve, that he has reached out to this girl on somebody's talking, okay? And she's like. The girl's like, I have been talking to or seeing Matt. I've been talking to him, but I've also been hearing rumors that he's actually seeing Rachel secretly. So Rachel finds this out, and she's like, oh, my God, Like, I'm done with you. He lures her back again, and then he's like, okay, now let's date. Okay. So now they date for three years. Three years. And I'm following them, and all they do is go and travel and are food influencers. But it's really his account. It's all him making this perfectly cute face with her perfect body. Eat all this food. And he'd be like, okay, try this Mac and cheese. And I was like, how's this girl staying thin? And they're traveling all over the world, and. And he's like, oh, yeah, you put that hot honey on it. And they're, like, eating all this food, and they're traveling all around, and I'm like, wow, this is so cool. They're, like, traveling the world, and they're getting all these sponsorships, and they're like foodies and bloggers and bloggers and tiktokers and all of this stuff. So when I was listening to it yesterday or this morning, she goes, yeah. And then, you know, one time with our final fight was that we were supposed to go to this restaurant in Tokyo or something, and I. And it was closed. And then the place I picked really wasn't good. And so therefore, he wasn't gonna be able to make a video out of it. And I put so much pressure on myself because, like, I failed him and because every meal was for content.
B
Oh, my. What a nightmare.
A
And that's what they did for three years, was travel and let. And so my question to Rachel is, were you getting half of this money? Like, how were you guys splitting up? Because every time it was just him eating something. I didn't watch it through. I need to see her cute face with her perfect brows eating. I was, like, a weird little freak, like, watching her want to eat. Like, I was getting off on it. So I'm like. I think what happened is. I think it's so fascinating for so many reasons why this relationship didn't work. It started out in this weird social climate.
B
Yeah.
A
It was the foundation was grandma that your influencers around traveling and food. And he's talking about marriage and kids, but he's never asking you to marry him. And you're on year two and year three and, like. And she's so. It's so sad because she's, like, so insecure, and I Think he's such a. He totally mind fucked her. And I also just think he might have. And this is harsh. I think he kind of lost respect for her because, I mean, he was like, I've lied to you a bunch of times. I've dragged you around the world a bunch of times. I've shoved all this food in your face. I don't know how she's staying thin and like, you still are trying to please me and you're still hanging on, and I just am like, oh, that.
B
Like, breaks my heart.
A
I know. I don't know if that's true and that's sad, but I'm just like, I don't know. But I think, like, it's a good lesson for girls to learn because she's so cute.
B
It is so cute.
A
People want to see her with Craig from Southern Charm.
B
Awkward. Very cute. How's that going? Are people like team one or the other or people like them be kind of pretty amicable?
A
I think nobody's team one or the other. I think he handled it so well. And she was sad enough, like both of them were sad enough about it that I think people were. And both of them are likable enough that it just like didn't. It just didn't pan out. Yeah, there was nobody. But in this one. This is my prediction for Matt James. He stops being a food vlogger and gets his real estate license.
B
Oh. And then he's on selling Sunset and.
A
Then he's just whatever realtor that like, some hot women will like, ask him to show him a place.
B
It's very hard to be a female right now dating and figuring out, like, what you want in a dude. Because if you, if you're like a woman who cooks and cleans and does the whole bit of housewife, the dude doesn't have a lot of respect for you. But if you have your own shit going on, then he feels like he's not masculine and wearing the pants. It's like, I don't know what lane to be in. So when you know what you want, let the rest of us know because it is fucking hard out there. And I, I totally agree. Leave my four walls to me to do. Like, I understand, but I just, I watch my friends leave their four walls pretty often and they're not having any luck. And to be honest, it's like, so I'm gonna waste my time going out and when you're telling me what's out there. I know. Or I could stay home, watch some housewives, eat some good Food, put some zip patch little things on my face, hang out with my kids. Like that to me sounds more fulfilling than going out there to see what clowns exist in the circus. Do you agree?
A
It is really. It is really. No, but it is really hard. And it is. I definitely think it's harder for your aged girl. Well, it is.
B
And I could find someone, but a.
A

A
And then it's like there's this whole, like, flexing of like, I don't have to work. Look what my man got me. And we see it all on social media. I mean, a lot of it is just the fuck up of seeing everybody's life. Like, you can see every type of woman's life inside of their home life, whether they are struggling, whether they are showing unpackaging because they are a proud sugar baby. And they, I got your daddy and like, your man wants to be with me. That kind of shit. Or they're that girl that is like, sorry, I'm gonna have to postpone me screwing a thousand men. That Lily girl, like, and she's like this cute English girl and she's like, I wanted to break the records, but U.S. customs is being a bitch, you know, like with letting the thousand. I don't. I couldn't even read the article. I was like, this Is so I'm like, you're seeing all of it and it is really, really hard.
B
And I, I agree that it's very hard.
A
Yeah.
B
But looking back, and I think that this has a tremendous impact on why I am the way I am now is. Let's take out that my ex turned out to like, not have money. Right. When I was with him, we lived a pretty lavish life. We were flying private every other day. It was no big deal to walk into a designer store and get decked head to toe. Right. And I was in the darkest place of my whole life.
A
During that time.
B
During that time, why I was just unfulfilled. I was not like, I think I was forcing myself to like say how great this is. Yeah. And it just, I'm like, this, this looks fun. On. I saw what I was posting. It looked fabulous, but it was dark. So now that I have a 30,000 foot view and I've gained my independence, I don't care to go in. And I've walked through Louis and Gucci a million and one times and I'm like, I don't want anything.
A
Does it give you kind of an ick factor?
B
It gives me an ick factor.
A
You do have a cute Gucci purse here, though.
B
Well, this was my grandmother's.
A
I have a classic one for my mom too.
B
Yeah, this is like very vintage edgy.
A
I love it.
B
You know, you hear about all these people who are being robbed blind, where you're like, I don't even want this stuff. Because then people just want to break in and steal it.
A
Or worse, be at gunpoint. Like to read like, like, you know, leaving a restaurant and being walking in your car.
B
Yes. So there is something about when I see social media or when I'm with girls who think I'll. I'm the wrong audience member to talk about any of the, the big expensive things that you have. Because I've been there. It brought me nothing. Not even a little bit of happiness.
A
Not those Gucci slides, which, by the.
B
Way, I did leave when I aborted Mission. I left those. I left the Mrs. Emmett hanger that my dress was supposed to be on. So good. I was like, fuck these slides.
A
Yeah, I definitely think there's like an ick factor when you see all of that and the people that cherish it and yeah, also all the counterfeit, like how much, how easy it is to get counterfeit of it.
B
Right.
A
And then you see these breaking windows for it and people, you know, stealing, but also risking their life because they're stealing like, their life screwed if we ever catch one of those people. Like, you know, it's like all of it, like, it's just. It's just kind of like. Yeah. It's a turn off.
B
Yeah. It doesn't, like unfazed by all of it.
A
Yeah. Which is why I'm also like, dorit, why don't you just move away from that? Like, I'd like to see a different. To like what she, you know, she has a great fashion sense. What she should do is get back into fashion and have it made in America and have it quality and should.
B
Have her own fashion line.
A
Yeah. And have it chic and cool, but not at a $3,000 price range, but at like, you know, 50 to 150 is, you know, you can get a piece for.
B
Yeah. And that's. That's, I think, a quality item.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, you're right in the middle. It's not, you know, 150 completely doable.
A
Right.
B
To show up in 4000$, you know, tops.
A
Yeah.
B
Every single episode. It's. It's a lot. And I have appreciation. I shouldn't say that I don't have appreciation for, like, the designer bags and all of those things.
A
Yeah.
B
Because I'd be heartbroken if someone did come in and take all of them. But it's just not something that I need to go out. And if I see it on Instagram, I'm not like, oh, you don't get.
A
The high off of it. You don't want that.
B
Yeah, no, I.
A
And the opening and the boxing.
B
Not in the least.
A
I think in some ways that's made people desire it and in some ways that's made people be turned off by it and be like, oh, it's so common now.
B
You know, that's exactly what it is.
A
And the dupes are so. Not even dupes. The fakes are so down to the box and the bag.
B
No, but even that runs. Like I talked about this Gucci North Face puffer jacket.
A
Yeah.
B
And it was fake and I had. I was not going to buy it. $800, granted. The other, the real one probably ran at $8,000, but like $800 for a fake Gucci, I'm good.
A
Yeah.
B
I'll go to Zara or I'll go to, like, aritzia and spend $800 on a bunch of shit.
A
Right.
B
Not one fake. Like, I'm not that desperado to make someone think that I can afford this jacket.
A
But I also get it, like, you know, brings you joy. Brings you joy. But this girl is adorable. She's a good girl.
B
Get off on that tangent because we're.
A
Just talking about life in general. And like, she kept saying, like, I would say I'm so. I would say I'm sorry for things that I really didn't even know what I was sorry for and like, all that kind of stuff. And I just. And so then, anyway, she was totally blindsided. Like, he. He announced they were broken up without, like, they broke up. And then the next day he posted, we're broken up. And that was the other thing. They, you know, were obviously sleeping together. They were traveling together. They were going to, you know, on all these trips together, but they never lived together.
B
They never lived together because he said, did they live in the same state?
A
No, but like, he had a place in apartment. He had an apartment in New York. He had an apartment in Miami. She had a place in Georgia. And so they oftentimes were together, but they never officially lived together. And he would be like, well, because I'm so religious, I don't want to live with anybody until I'm married. And we'll keep these places because we're going to be that couple that trounks.
B
Religious men, live in Miami and have apartments. Sorry, don't buy it. I think they pretend. I think.
A
I think anyone in Miami was like, the real thing in New York.
B
Like, come on, New York, I could let slide. You like to have fun, and it's like, you're not trying to hide anything, right? You tell me you have a place in Miami, you're a dirty fucking dog. And the sad part is you're like the Lord Jesus Christ compared to most of the people who live in Miami. I mean, I'm gonna have people from Miami come for me, but I have women from Miami who tell me, you know, with my ex, they're like, oh, yeah, that should have been your first clue, right? Like, I'm from there and I know, right?
A
So anyway, I wish her the best. I say yes.
B
Kind of like the Potomac guy.
A
Which Potomac?
B
Doesn't he. Stacy's guy? Doesn't he say they can't sleep together or live together because he's religious too and everything?
A
Let's just go to. Let's just go to that right now.
B
That's like the new thing.
A
Okay. Real Housewives of Potomac. I know I haven't covered it that much, but you guys don't need to really be up on it for this discussion.
B
No.
A
So there's this new girl in it, and she's very pretty. Her name's Stacy, and she is dating this guy who's pushing 50 who won't even.
B
He does not look 50, though. He looks good.
A
No, he looks good, but I can tell he's like that old and he won't even. I don't even know that they've dry humped. I don't even think they French kissed. They've been dating a long time. And he's like, I will sleep with you eventually, but I just won't do it right now because I'm so religious. And I'm like, I think. I don't know if she's the smartest person in the world. And she kind of came up with this so that she could be on the show because it's such a weird storyline. I would hire her too if she's like, this is my boyfriend who seems a little gay and says he's religious and is also on, like, QVC with me. They met on QVC and won't touch me. I would hire her too. Or is she really thinking that this is gonna go somewhere and this is the love of her life? Because she's kind of dumb about her divorce too. She was.
B
That was wild.
A
Yeah. Married like 16 years to some, like, guys. She's rich, German or Swedish or something. And she's like, no, we're just gonna. We. We don't have. We don't need to have. I don't need to have a lawyer. He'll always take care of me. And they're like, he says that now, but once he gets a new girlfriend, you think that girlfriend who then is married to him or has his baby is going to be like, did you make sure that your ex wife got her payment? Oh, your ex wife wrote me and said that her Range Rover is up for an upgrade. I want to make sure you take care of your ex wife because you promised that you would 10 years ago before we got together. No, like, you have to have.
B
She said she waived child support, but she won't waive the alimony. And the lawyer said, why are you willing to waive the child support but not the alimony? Because I want to make sure it's in writing that he takes care of me. But you don't want it in writing that he'll take care of your child.
A
Men get weird and they go. Because then either they or the new girl is like, why? Why is like, let's just say where we live, whatever. Like, why is the daughter. Why. Why can't your daughter go to Calabasas? Like, that's Such a great, you know, public school. Why does she have to go to oaks Christian for 22,000 a year or what? Like, why, why? And then. Right, yeah, well, I checked and it is one of the best schools. And then, you know, and you're like. But you said. But you're denying your daughter this. My daughter doesn't even call me. Like, that's the other thing now. The teenager daughter doesn't want to hang out with the dad. And hence you get, you know, Alec Baldwin calling his daughter a little pig on the answering machine 30 years ago. You know, like, it just happens.
B
That was wild.
A
It happens.
B
No, it does.
A
You gotta have your shit in writing with real lawyers, everybody.
B
Well, I think so, too.
A
Yeah.
B
He'll always take care of Arabella because he does it right now while I know him. But you don't know him.
A
His business could fail. He could. He could come on hard times. And if he doesn't have that, he at least has to pay you a certain amount or a certain percentage. Then you could be screwed that way, too.
B
No, I think she's. She's seeing the best in people, which I appreciate.
A
Yeah.
B
Her age, she's stunning. You would think she's been a little bit more wounded. She'd have more life experiences under her belt. To be like, this is kind of weird.
A
Yeah.
B
Because the guy who's like, I don't want to sleep with you because I'm super religious, by the way. Such a turn off.
A
Yeah.
B
You're probably super fucking bad in bed. And it's not.
A
James should go do a show together and fall in love. Make them eat the food.
B
We should put them in Matt James's penthouse in Miami. Because I'm just so confused. Like, you're just out there with a bunch of, like, blow and tons of bbls and you're like, nope, I'm a Christian.
A
Yeah. What do you think about Ashley? Did you see that Ashley was a drag king?
B
Obsessed with her, by the way. She is so pretty, so cute. Everything about her. I love that she, like, ripped her fucking top off with her lump there.
A
So for you guys, this was a moment in Housewives history. It's. This show is not your typical show. So Ashley, who is divorced from an old, ugly Australian who I think was married to somebody when she started. When she met him, I think she worked at one of his restaurants.
B
Okay, that makes sense.
A
And I'm just saying. I think. But someone told me, and then. And then she has these two little boys and she was, you know, is bisexual and always brought in, like, thirds and whatever. And then he got caught, you know, helping a lady that wanted to take a nap in his hotel room. She was very tired and she took a photo of him in his underwear. And finally she came to. And also there was some guy in London that said he also had to take a nap in his hotel room.
B
Lots of nappies.
A
Anyway, they get divorced, and now she's out bisexual, and she does a drag king show.
B
Yeah.
A
So she dresses like a guy and does this whole big dance because she's a good dancer. And. Yeah. She rips off her shirt.
B
She do boobs.
A
She gives Karen a lap dance. She rips off her shirt with her mom and her uncle there with just her pasties. And I mean, yeah, it was something we hadn't seen before. We've seen a lot of drag queen shows, but we'd never seen a housewife be a drag king. So I want to say congrats for that.
B
She looked hot.
A
The Josh is the most unlikely pairing. Her boyfriend.
B
I'm obsessed. I'm obsessed with it.
A
Yeah. But he seems cute and nice.
B
No, he's so cute. So nice. And I love the way that I'm sure he just looks at her mesmerized.
A
Like, how did I get this piece of ass? Like, she is amazing. Yeah.
B
Because, you know, she's good in bed.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
Sober or lit.
A
She says she's. What did she say? She said, I'm a top as a lesbian and a bottom as a. As a hetero.
B
Wait, top as a lesbian? Yeah, like bottom.
A
I guess, like, she's the she. I don't know. I guess she does. Wears the strap on or.
B
I don't know. I don't know. But I.
A
She's sexy. And then we have Karen Huger, who did get a DUI when she crashed into this tree.
B
That was wild, that. That body cam footage.
A
So the body cam footage, she said.
B
She was Jefferson's concubine or something.
A
She said Thomas. She was. She was Thomas Jefferson's concubine. She was really. She was so drunk that when I see something like that, I think as someone who has enjoyed cocktails in my life, when you are so wasted, sometimes it's almost like you're in a dream state and you, like, don't even know what you're saying. Like, and that. I think that she was that drunk.
B
Well, obviously. Like, what the are you talking about?
A
And then, like, Rey is like, shows. So anyway, she gets her attorneys the whole season. She's like, I'll be vindicated. And this and that, yeah, she is.
B
Saying she'll be vindicated. And she's like, I'm stressed. I'm not eating. And then it comes out that she's like, actually on Ozempic because she doesn't want to get diabetes.
A
Right. Well, you know what? Also, the days of shaming people of Ozempic are also over, okay? Because it used to be you're stealing it from the diabetic people, they're gonna lose a limb.
B
And Ozempic's like, we can make more.
A
We can make more. Now that is not the case. There's lots of companies that you can get it from and do it if you want to do it. Great. One of my predictions came true.
B
What is it that you could lose your hearing, your eyesight?
A
No, this one I'm very proud of because I said this over two years ago.
B
Tell me.
A
I said, lizzo is going to go on it and lose weight. And she has.
B
She looks good.
A
She has.
B
She looks very good.
A
And I said, and it'll cause her to lose some popularity. But once people accept that, people are getting thinner because they can. And then eventually you're just gonna have to enjoy them because they wrote a good song and so she'll. She'll come back around. But it's like, yeah, they don't like that she was getting thinner. They also don't like that she was, like, horrible to her dancers or whatever.
B
Yeah, that could be it. I think that should outweigh the Ozempi.
A
Yes. And then also, Mia had the craziest storyline ever. She pretended that one of her sons that she gave birth while she was married to her husband was maybe not her husband's and her boyfriend.
B
You think she was a random storyline or you think she was not totally sure?
A
No, I think she knew. I think she knew.
B
I trust you.
A
I think she knew.
B
You're always right in your predictions.
A
There wasn't a crossover, but since she had already left her husband and she knew it was controversial and probably wanted to punish him a little bit, so she told the girls for two years, I don't know if my son is actually my husband's or my current boyfriend that I've been seeing on and off for whatever, 15 years. And then he says, well, no, we got the paternity test and he is my son. And they're like, so she's another one, like a Brin from Roni that I think had a fucked up childhood, is super, is kind of overly sexual because of that, and is a pathological liar.
B
Oh, fuck. That's scary. It's a very scary.
A
And I know it's like you want to pick these fucked up people for reality tv, but one. One more weird thing and it can just go dark.
B
Anyway, it did go dark on Roni. I didn't watch one episode until the finale because of all the social media attention that that finale was getting.
A
But I was just gonna say, like, I think that was so weird because they. They talked about it with the kid, like, playing Frisbee in the back. They talked about it many times and I thought it was so weird, but I think she talked about it because she knew the result was that he was the dad. The dads. And therefore she was like, who cares? But I thought that was very, very weird. Okay, wait, so let's. I have talked about Roni some and I just want to get your opinion of the latest on Bryn. And did you watch last night's reunion?
B
I did. It was very boring.
A
I fell asleep. But in the beginning, they did ask her again, what do you do for a living, Bryn? What do you do for a living?
B
I didn't do what you do. I didn't get that.
A
I think she means the show and I do your job influencing.
B
Okay.
A
But I think in the past year or two, she probably did make enough money on that. But I think she was lying about having this marketing job. I don't think she ever had some. We know.
B
Like, she said she worked for like, Dove and all, like, marketing campaigns, but it's always been.
A
But she acted like she was like Joan Collins or whatever favorite, like in like Mommy Dares. Like, don't with me, fellas. Like, I was like, where? Like, she's wearing a hat to work. And I'm like, what are you talking? Like, we never saw you at any of these jobs. And I get it. Like, I don't know that she's like a hooker light or whatever, and I don't really care, but just. It's just again, not really being truthful.
B
No, it is very strange because someone said in the comment section of some post that she did pull up Bryn's resume and it's pretty impressive. And I'm like, okay, where is it?
A
Why are.
B
Why isn't it here? Like, we're just talking more. Talking about it.
A
What do you think should happen with this show? Because they sent out a post yesterday.
B
What'd they say?
A
Farmshed Media now again. And I see things and I'm like, everything can be AI and generated all this stuff. But it said from Shed Media, like, want to hold an Apple, we're holding auditions.
B
They need to. And I have heard, Yes, I have heard that they're shaking it up big time because it's just not working.
A
It's. I.
B
There was.
A
Do you think they'll do a combo of like keeping two girls, bringing a couple OGs back and maybe two new.
B
I just don't think a vegetable soup can hang with the OGs. Yeah, bring in. Bring back all the OGs. It was the most iconic of all the Housewives. There was nothing like it. They were unproducible in the best way possible. It's the only franchise I've watched where I'm like, if I just randomly was mentioning these friends of mine, a producer would step in and say, law. No one knows who you're talking about, this show or the og. Yeah, they just had to let him roll and figure it out later. Like Tammy Sue. Does anyone know who that is? Well, I guess she banged, like all of these side characters were brought in and it made it so interesting where it really felt like you were a fly on the wall and not watching a produced show because how do you produce so much chaos? You can't.
A
And also. Well, the biggest thing is, you know, it was a different time and these women are OGs. Were not on their phones while filming and they weren't filming content. They didn't say, take a photo of me so I can post it. They weren't also, you know, doing stories while they were filming the show. And if I was the producers of these shows, I would have some strict rules about the phones being out while you're filming. I don't know if that was like, for, like for you with Vanderpump. I just feel like it's such a. It is part of being real is having your phone out, but I feel like that is taking away from like living in the moment.
B
No. There's so many times that we would be filming something and I'd get a text from a producer that says, put your phone down.
A
Okay, well, good.
B
Yeah. And it is weird because I want to say these are probably the youngest of the housewives. Maybe not Jen Alliance. So they're in that sweet spot of like the posting any other franchise. They're not making money that way. They. Most of the Housewives do have a pretty impressive resume. Or they say, my husband made the money. I truly am a stay at home mom and a housewife.
A
Yeah.
B
Whereas that's what we loved about Housewives is it wasn't like Vanderpump rules even Summer House. Those People have legitimate jobs, Right. Vanderpump Rules is the only show on Bravo's network where it's like, these people, you know, what they do, they worked at a restaurant and then came into, you know, this world.
A
And this is a fun thing to watch because it was, you know, it was truly what it's like to be in la. Struggling actor, starlet, musician. You work at a restaurant, you make friends, you have opportunities. I mean, that is what it was like for all of us. Anybody that I worked at a restaurant, anybody. And you're trying to get a little. And we saw it from the start, and then, you know, and that's really cool to see. And then the show, you know, evolved with your careers. And I thought. I felt. Yeah, at one point we were like, we get it. No one's really working there anymore. But that's what I like about, like, the Valley now is. Cause it's like you guys are still all friends. You're still, you know. Yeah. But we're following your real lives and your real thing, and nothing is, you know, you're not driving an hour to go, you know, seat someone for goat cheese balls. You know, like, it's like, you know, and I think they got back now. They got in the groove of that. And what. I mean, let me ask you, what do you think? Do you think anything about the new season?
B
Which new season of the Valley?
A
The new people of the Vanderpump. You don't know anything, right?
B
I don't know anything of the new.
A
You appear on the Valley, though. You're coming back in the Valley. And you went to Brittany's party this weekend, her birthday party. Yes, and I really had some FOMO about it.
B
Well, she had two things.
A
Okay. I was invited to the Saturday party at her house, right.
B
But there was a 6:00 dinner.
A
Okay.
B
And I'm looking and. 6:00 dinner, you know, that's right up my alley.
A
Oh, that's totally up my alley.
B
Yeah.
A
Wait, that's not what my thing said.
B
Okay, so let me tell you, okay?
A
Now I don't feel as bad. Okay?
B
No.
A
Okay.
B
So there was like an intimate dinner, okay. Which was beautiful. You had Britney in the center. And then it was one side of the table, which I was over on that side and another side. And you could just tell who didn't mess with who, right? So she did a very good job of making it an intimate dinner. But also, you didn't cross paths with someone who you didn't really like.
A
I need to know what they Served really quick.
B
They served. What are known where I'm from is Mormon potatoes, all rotten potatoes, great Brussels sprouts. They served. What's the meat that you eat with horseradish?
A
Oh, roast beef.
B
Roast beef. I don't know if there was a dessert. I'm sure there was a dessert.
A
Was there a salad dessert?
B
There was a salad to start. That was fantastic. They had a bar, which was really cute. And then the 8 o'clock party was when people started arriving where it's like, okay, it's time to get lit. Have fun. So we're ready to sit. I'm there for like an hour and a half. And I'm like, it's 7:08 people. You know, my Virgo and sobriety have kicked in now. I'm like, y'all, we have to sit down. You can't have people arriving at 8 o'clock to all of us having dinner, being like, you weren't good enough to be invited to the dinner, but, like, maybe curl up on the couch and watch some Sex in the City while we finish our roast beef dinner. So the moment that I was finished, I started seeing people trickle in, and I was like, this is when it's my time to exit. But I heard that the party that you were invited to was fun.
A
Okay, wait a minute. I am so happy because this has haunted me for three days now.
B
Why?
A
Because I was very flattered to get the invite. I love Brittany. I know so many of you guys. I'm close to you and Sheena and people like. So I'm always flattered to be invited to, like, the premieres and all that kind of stuff.
B
Yeah.
A
And. But I was in La Quinta, and I was kind of like.
B
And I was having FOMO of you.
A
Yeah. And I also had plans with Brandi and Julie. They were gonna come to my little country club.
B
So fun.
A
And. Cause Peter wasn't there. We were gonna have a girls night, and we were gonna go and. Because Julie told me that the planets are lining up. I don't. Nobody seemed to know this.
B
The planets. Yeah. She went out for one night to see it.
A
Well, I didn't. We didn't see anything but the planet. So she goes, we need to get together for the planets to line up and everything first. I just thought she meant, like, spiritually. The planets are lining up. You know how people are like, oh, so and so is in the seventh ray of the Jupiter. Like, I don't understand that. And I go, oh, wait, Planets are really lining up.
B
So I think when people Talk like that. Heather. They're also lining up in a certain way. I don't think that they're just bullshitting when someone says Mercury's in retrograde. I think that actually is.
A
Yeah, Mercury. Yeah, whatever that is. Okay, so I go. So we made plans because they have a place to pause for me for them to come over and have a girls night. And we're going to wine tasting at my country club, which is on, you know, in my little area. Like, right. I can walk across the crowd and then come back and we're going to play Mystery Date, which is a game that my sister and I played when we were little. Which is. We have to play it. It's for eight and above. Eight years old above.
B
Oh, then I can for sure play it.
A
It is so much fun.
B
Okay.
A
And Julie won and got a bowling date, which is so appropriate. And then we watched this movie that I found the day before on Amazon Prime.
B
What's it called?
A
Hollywood High. It was made in 1976.
B
Okay.
A
I cannot believe that Amazon prime bought this movie. It is a straight up porn. I don't think it was SAG AFTRA. I want to know where these 70 year old women are today. Because I was like, how. What horrible shit did they have to go through at like the Troubadour or Sunset or whatever to get these movies?
B
It is like a porno.
A
It was like, yeah, it's like they're sitting in class. It's like the worst acting. I go, it felt like something that I honestly rented like at Blockbuster when I was like a teenager to be like, oh my God, this is like a juicy movie called Hollywood High. And it's like four girls and they're all hot. And like in class the girl's like showing her. I mean like, how is this on Amazon Prime? So that's. That was my night. Okay. And I, you know, wrote it.
B
Does not Brittany and I seem like an Amazon prime click?
A
I know. So then I wrote, you know, wrote Britney and I'm like, I'm so bummed, but I'm in La Quinta and I don't wanna flake and everything. But then when I saw the beautiful photos and I saw the scene and there's nothing I like more than an all girls plated dinner.
B
So fun. The best.
A
But mine was for eight, so I was never invited to the plated dinner. So. You have just made me feel so much better.
B
Yeah, don't worry about it.
A
Because I was like, oh my God, if I knew it was gonna be. And you looked so beautiful. I'm like, first of all, I wouldn't have dressed that fancy, but it's okay. Cause now I realize I would have come at 8.
B
It was freezing, by the way, because that was the day that there was all the rain.
A
It was freezing and I was like, oh, my God, this is outside. And there's nothing.
B
There was one heater, Heather, and because I was seated first, I had the bartender put the heater right behind me.
A
Of course you did. And also, nothing worse than an open toed high heel on a cold California night.
B
The worst.
A
The worst. Because you're like.
B
But I was. But she did have a bunch of blankets.
A
It looked beautiful. It was fun. And I would have had fun if I'd gone at 8 and like, I would have danced and everything.
B
So, yeah, she's the most heartfelt sweet speech.
A
She is so genuine and she was great. And I'm excited for her. Year ahead of her. I am too. Now what? She's still doing her restaurant.
B
She's still doing that restaurant.
A
That is amazing. That sounds so fun.
B
You know, I'm very proud of her.
A
Yes, I agree.
B
Just what she does on a regular basis for her. Her life, you know, she doesn't have. Jax is not helpful. He does not contribute in any way, shape or form. I don't care if he hears me say that either. This is a fact. And she wakes up, hustles her ass off, provides for her son, and I just have a lot of respect for her.
A
Well, she looks beautiful.
B
She does.
A
And she's just.
B
The titties are tittying.
A
The titties are titting the hair flowing.
B
I said, girl, we're gonna have an areola if we don't pull up just a tad. And she gave it a little adjust and I said, we're good now.
A
Is she seeing anyone? Because last time I was on your.
B
Show, was she seeing some.
A
Your podcast, Julian?
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
There was a guy that she. We. That I guess she went on a date with or something. But you. Did you date him? What was the story behind that?
B
No, that was so. Yes. Julian, the guy that I had talked to for years and then whatever, introduced him to the group, and then he still stuck around and then Brittany started hooking up with him.
A
Okay. But there's someone else now.
B
I don't know, maybe.
A
Okay.
B
I think she's in. I think she's having fun. I think she's out talking to dudes.
A
As she should, sounding like she's having a good balance, hopefully between like, work, mommy life and Then some fun, which.
B
Everybody needs and she deserves that.
A
Yeah.
B
She had many year of dealing with Jax and now she needs to go and enjoy her life and have someone make her feel beautiful because she is, you know.
A
Well, I can't wait for that show.
B
I will say you made me feel better though, because I was. I didn't realize that the dinner was at 6 and then the party was at 8. I thought just it was a dinner for everybody at 8. And I'm like, all right, whatever. Then I realize you're going, but that's to the 8:00. We're having dinner at 6. And I was like, like, this is like the fifth thing I've told Heather that I'm going to be at. And then I'm like, I'm actually bailing. I told my mom. I was like, I have got to, because I had friends in town. I said, go entertain them. You'll watch the kids. I have to stay at the party because I cannot bail on Heather another time. And then you said, you're in the desert. I was like, I'm out of here the moment dinner is finished, the minute.
A
I get my dessert. Did they have a dessert?
B
No. Maybe they did. After. I didn't stay. It was like.
A
Honestly, it kind of inspired me for like my next birthday.
B
It was stunning.
A
I. I mean, I. I won't do a, an A and a B list, but I do, I do. I did think it was fun because your.
B
Your thing won't say it's Heather, bitch.
A
This was hilarious. Heather. No, but I. I was thinking, like, it is, it's kind of fun. Was it mostly. So it was mostly girls, like people.
B
Girls and gays.
A
So nobody brought their husband that's a straight person?
B
No. No, no, no, no, no.
A
I kind of like that. No, it was great because, I mean, I mean, I love having like a couple's dinner too, because I am that person that's married to like an old straight golfer. But also, I think it makes it real fun. I like to have several celebrations. So it's like you could do your couple's dinner or whatever. I like the girl. Everyone looking cute. Have a sit down, beautiful, like, housewives type dinner. Yes. Yeah.
B
As someone who's not in a couple, I very much app the people who are like, we're gonna do two things. Cause I can roll third wheel with the best of them. I've been doing it for many years.
A
Yeah.
B
But I love a girls and gays birthday dinner.
A
I'm all for having multiple events and milking it. Out all month. I feel bad for people who are at the end of a month. Like, if your birthday was today, you.
B
Gotta call it a day. You can't go into the next month.
A
So I'm June 14th, which is perfect. Perfect. So it's the whole month of June. Yeah, it's like.
B
But it's like, it's not because I'm September 2nd, where it's like, if I do do that, it's like, enough already.
A
Yeah, like, shut up.
B
14Th is great.
A
Yeah, it's good. It's also flag day.
B
What the fuck is that?
A
You celebrate the flag. My mom used to be like, everyone put out the flag for your. No, like American flag. And everyone had a gay flag. Did you just say the gay flag?
B
No, I said an American flag.
A
Yeah, the American flag.
B
Well, we were talking about gay.
A
We've talked for so long and this has been so.
B
Oh, 118. Yeah, we have.
A
Oh my God. So, so fun. And you have so much going on. Let's do all the stuff that you have going on. Well, your mommy of two.
B
Yep.
A
Now ocean's gonna be four in March, right?
B
Yep. Ocean will be four in March.
A
And how old is Sosa now?
B
Sosa's four months. Over four months. She'll be five months and just doing great. Doing great. So I'm submerged in just like mommy life. You saw my new car. It's giving me a heart attack.
A
It's full mom mode.
B
No, I'm getting another car.
A
It's too much of a mom mode. It's too big.
B
That will be my mom car. I need to feel like I can't be constantly covered in spit up. Breastfeeding, pumping, disciplining and then get into my car.
A
You know what really screams mom card?
B
What? A minivan.
A
No, the. When you get in and it's that smell of like that the milk spilled into the rug. You know that milk smell that like. Yeah, that formula or that milk. Or like, like a. Do like a Cheerio that was crushed in the rug.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You don't need to get in the back of my car quite yet. Run it to the cleaner and.
A
Okay, so you have your podcast.
B
Yeah, the podcast. Give them lala that every Wednesday and Monday.
A
Okay.
B
Amazon Live, which is like the modern day version of qvc. I have all the best pics you'll ever have in you.
A
And I did a little fun thing with you over the holidays.
B
Yes, super cute.
A
So that was really fun. And then I know you have other things. You can't, can you? You probably can't talk about this.
B
Not yet. But I'm really excited for this year. I think it's gonna be me coming into my own.
A
I think you're in a real, like, creative space for yourself.
B
I needed that.
A
Yeah.
B
I was getting a little too comfortable in life. And the moment I get too comfortable. The last time that I uncomfortable was with my. My situation with my ex. And I was like, oh, my God, where are we? And I did really great things. So now we're uncomfortable again. And I'm really excited to see what we do.
A
And then you have. You're a big part of the Valley. Like, you're on it.
B
I wouldn't say I'm a big part of it. I pop in. I'm very, very pregnant at that point in time. Yeah, we'll see what makes it. It just made sense. Sheesh is a part of it.
A
Yeah, I know.
B
She gets. I think she gets her hands a little bit dirty, which I love.
A
Sheena.
B
Yeah.
A
And she has a book coming out.
B
She does have a book coming out.
A
My good side, which I can relate to because I only have one good side. And I love it.
B
I'm so. So many people are.
A
I was so bummed when I did your thing.
B
What do you mean?
A
When I did your. When I did your Amazon show.
B
We have the same good side. That's a problem.
A
I know. And they're like, that's Lala's seat. I'm like, but actually, I wasn't sad. I didn't hate it. I didn't hate it.
B
Yeah, you looked great.
A
But it's funny. Cause Sheena and I can take a photo together. Cause it's. It. It matches. It's like.
B
Yeah. That's how Sheesh and I are.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
We make great friends.
A
Yeah.
B
We. We share the opposite good side.
A
And so. Yeah, I'm excited for her. She has a book coming out too, so we'll have to get those pre orders in for her too.
B
Yeah, get them in, you guys. I wanted to make the New York Times bestseller list.
A
Give them Lala. You have so much going on. And I'm so excited to just watch you blossom.
B
Thanks.
A
This is so fun.
B
And thank you for having me.
A
Please come back. We can always talk about. We could talk for another five and a half hours.
B
Yeah. Because it's easy.
A
Yeah.
B
Thanks for having me.
A
Love.

Heather McDonald (A) warmly welcomes Lala Kent back to the show, expressing excitement about their upcoming "Fire Aid" concert—a charitable event where proceeds support fire victims. Heather shares details on how listeners can watch and contribute to the concert, emphasizing the community-building aspect and the star-studded lineup including Billie Eilish, Jelly Roll, and Nikki Sixx.

Lala recounts a recent run-in with TMZ at a Calabasas Starbucks, where she was approached about a leaked voicemail from Ryan Reynolds. The voicemail, originally a private voice memo, was sensationalized, leading to widespread speculation about Reynolds' intentions and the nature of his lawsuit involving Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
Lala:
"He sounds sexy as shit. Okay. So everyone's, like, getting wet listening to him." ([05:22])
She delves into the legal battle, questioning Reynolds' motives and the authenticity of his claims, suggesting the possibility of an exaggerated sequel to the lawsuit aimed at reclaiming rights to the second movie.
Lala:
"The thing is that there is a sequel to this book. It ends with us, it starts with us... co-parenting." ([08:55])
Heather and Lala draw parallels between Reynolds' situation and the infamous Amber Heard-Johnny Depp case, discussing public perception and media influence. Lala predicts a settlement, reflecting on the public's weariness with prolonged legal disputes.
Lala:
"I thought they would settle out of court." ([09:32])
The conversation shifts to RHOBH, where Heather and Lala analyze current season dynamics, focusing on cast member Kyle Bryant. Lala empathizes with Kyle's struggles, criticizing the public's harsh judgment and the lack of support from fellow cast members.

Heather:
"If Peter was spending that kind of money on luxury items for himself... I think that can add to their problems." ([19:07])
They explore the authenticity of reality TV, questioning whether the extravagant expenditures are genuine or fabricated for viewer appeal.
Heather and Lala delve into the complexities of long-term relationships and divorce, using personal experiences to highlight emotional challenges. They discuss the societal expectations placed on women post-divorce and the struggle to regain independence and self-worth.
Lala:
"When you have your breakup with your ex, I have to be like, I'm not talking to him anymore." ([15:06])
They touch upon Ryan Reynolds' portrayal in the lawsuit, examining the legal and emotional ramifications of public breakups highlighted in reality TV.
Analyzing other cast members like Garcelle Beauvais and Erika Jayne, Heather and Lala discuss their roles in maintaining a balanced atmosphere on the show. They praise Erika Jayne for her composed demeanor amidst chaos.
Lala:
"I love that Erika Jayne is a voice of reason. She's a good girlfriend." ([12:12])
The duo also critiques the introduction of new cast members versus retaining original personalities, emphasizing the importance of authenticity in reality TV.
Heather and Lala speculate on the future directions of reality TV shows like "The Valley," discussing potential cast changes and the impact of social media on show authenticity. They advocate for original cast members to maintain genuine interactions devoid of constant online presence.
Heather:
"They weren’t filming content... living in the moment." ([72:03])
Additionally, they share updates on their personal projects, including Heather's upcoming shows in New York and Lala's podcast activities, highlighting their continuous engagement with their audiences.
