Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Welcome to 2026. We have so much to cover. I hope you all had a great holiday season. I did do episodes on my Patreon in which I covered My holiday, my holidays, My Christmas. What I did. More details on this celebrity wedding, which I'll get into in a minute that I attended. And so much fun. So that's all on Patreon. You go to heathermcdonald.net you click on Patreon, you join that dropped a bunch of episodes over the holidays there that are all the juiciest stuff. But for you right now, we have got it going on. Okay, so let's get into it. So, yes, I went to a New Year's Eve wedding, and. And it was technically not in Palm Beach. And that's very important because there's a new show on Netflix called Members Only. Palm beach or Palm Beach Members Only on Netflix, which I believe is Netflix first attempt to kind of get into the Real Housewives world without saying Real Housewives. So. But it's the way they do the Netflix shows. Kind of like owning Manhattan and all the selling sunsets. It's a little more glossy. It has that. All those kind of songs like, yeah, I'm a gold digger. That's what I do. Got my yacht and everyone poo, you know, whatever. Those dumb songs. And so. But this glossy and it's fun. And it premiered just. Just like last week in that kind of dead week of where you're like, what day is it and what am I doing? And the kids aren't back in school yet. Do I take down the tree or do I just sit here and binge? Members Only on Netflix. So I have a very special guest from the show that we're gonna interview her, and you're gonna hear that on this episode later after I get through some updates and hot topics. But the show is ridiculous. It's addictive. It's funny. It's real estate porn. It's beautiful. But one of the things which I will be talking to my guest Hillary about is, is the Palm beach versus West Palm Beach. And not everybody lives in Palm Beach. And I don't really get why that's such a big deal when we've been watching Real Housewives shows for years. When Kim Richards, in the beginning of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, lived in Westlake Village in a rental. Dorit and Kyle owned an Encino. These are not Beverly Hills homes. So I think it's just. It's, you know, they're just trying to give you something entertaining. And I believe this show is. There's. These people don't totally match up. They don't all seem like they would ever really be friends and hang out. I don't know, if it's coming for a second season, maybe Hillary will know and would they recast anybody? But, you know, in my Juicy Scoop obsessed private Facebook page, people really were into it. You can criticize it, but. But they watched it. And it's better that it's a rage bait show that gets people to watch and binge the whole thing than if it was so boring you didn't bother to watch at all. Like Meghan Markle and Harry's series about hot polo players living in Santa Barbara. You're like, what? There was a show like that? Yeah, it was on Netflix. Nobody watched it. Nobody cared. I tried. It just didn't catch me. And so this did. And of course, it's somewhat controversial and everything, which we will get into. So, technically, I said I was in Palm beach for this wedding. It was at the beautiful home of Rachel Yukatel and now her husband Dan. And they did a beautiful wedding on New Year's Eve in their backyard. It was absolutely stunning. I am not really a fan of New Year's Eve. So when I got invited to a New Year's Eve wedding in a warm location, technically Palm beach adjacent, okay, I had done shows in Palm beach, like, a year and a half ago, and I absolutely loved it. And I knew that Jill Zarin would be going as well, and she lives over in Boca, so I got to spend time with her on New Year's Day and spent the night. And in my next life, I want Jill Zarin to be my wife. Not in a sexual way, just in a way that, like, she made me homemade matzo ball soup for my slight hangover of New Year's Eve. Homemade ice cream, the comfiest bed that you've ever gotten into. Like, she's just. She's very much that woman. And even when we went to go play Padel, which is like the new rich person's pickleball, she's filming me being like, look at you, Heather. Look at you go. Look. I'm horrible at it. And she's just so. I need her to be my wife slash mother in my next life. But anyway, we had so much fun, and we even went out to dinner one night before the wedding, and I ran into the infamous Harry Dubin, who I had met before when I was out there a year and a half ago, actually, with Rachel. He was not at the wedding, but the same night that I ran into Ramona Singer, she was at this bar along with Harry Dubin. Then this other night, I went out to dinner during this last time, Harry Dubin was there with another cute blonde woman. He seems to get them all. I also ran into Ramona Singer at the Colony and she's like, oh my God, what are you doing here? And she had a new guy. He's a really nice guy. He's really, you know, he was very dressed, very nice. And we're just gonna have a little cocktail before our holiday party for New Year's Eve. Yeah. Living in Palm Beach. And so it was so fun and the wedding was absolutely gorgeous. And there's more pictures on my Instagram. And I think I got a little bit of press this weekend because I went to Hillary's house the day of the premiere of the Netflix show and she had some press there for a little like luncheon premiere party. And then of course, Rachel's wedding was in People magazine and stuff like that. So made it very, very fun for me. Okay. So moving on. Oh, so also, let's talk about some other New Year's Eve scoop. Alix Earl, who I've spoken many times about, she is just like the number one influencer. She was on Dancing with the Stars. She really popped a couple years ago. She's very attractive and girls just love her. They love her personality and her style. She broke up with her very cute professional football player boyfriend named Braxton and found herself at a party in Aspen. I think it was Aspen or maybe it was Saint Barts. I can't keep track of where everybody was. Half the people were in Aspen and the other half were in St. Barts on New Year's Eve that were like big celebrities. Oh, and then there was me, okay, at my thing, which I was very thrilled about. But the big stories were coming out of those two places. And Alex Earle and Tom Brady were seen snuggling up, giving each other little like tickleblack back to back rubs or whatever. And people were kind of dying over it because, you know, she broke up with a football player. This is probably his hero and who knows if it's going anywhere. I think it was kind of badass that she was flirting with him. I hope it doesn't. He's much too old for her. He has four kids. That's not where a 25 year old should be headed. But that was fun. There were also in Aspen. So there was a party in Aspen that I believe Kate Hudson threw. And it was, you know, Brooke Nader, who's like this new. She has her, her own series with her model like sister. She's a model. She has a good personality. She's Gorgeous. She was on Dancing with Stars. She and her sisters wanted to be seen. They went out for New Year's Eve to this party and they were just wearing bodysuits and like the Taylor Swift, like thick, shiny, like roller skating type nylons with just like after ski high boots and like, you know, a jacket. And this is the way, this is the thing to do to get, get seen like that. Like wear a kind of crazy outfit. And the paparazzi, either you call them or you make sure that your weird outfit gets featured, but you know, they have good bodies. So that was that. But also at this New Year's Eve party, which I don't know if it's the same one that Kate was throwing, but Kyle of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Mauricio, who are technically friendly, separated, living in two different residences, they got together and they were seen watching a movie together over the holidays. One of their daughters put it on their Instagram, like when your parents are, you know, eating popcorn, watching a movie together. So that seemed like a very natural, loving thing to do. And then they were seen allegedly getting snuggly at this New Year's Eve party. So what is going on on there? Well, also the next day I saw in the news that she confirmed Kyle Richards, that she bought a house in Tennessee. Well, I believe Morgan Wade, being a country singer, probably owns a house in Nashville, Tennessee as well. And as you if you're watching Real Houses of Beverly Hills, Kyle has said without saying her name, I had a very significant relationship. I felt hard for this person. She doesn't say he or she, but that person no longer wanted to be in the limelight of this life. And so it wasn't up to me. So the first speculation is, no, she's not getting to back together with her husband, but they have a great friendship or whatever. Or maybe they, maybe they do have a booty call once in a while, I don't know. But that a lot of people like buying in Tennessee. I think it's one of those states where you get like a tax break and people love Nashville and a lot of Californians have gone there and it's a fun vibe. And so maybe she want to have a property solely in her name. Maybe this is leading up to a future of doing other documentaries about lesbian country stars. I'm going to make you love me. I don't know. I don't know. But, you know, I think it's smart to kind of plan for a future that might not be you continuing your life on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As you enter what I like to call like the third or fourth chapter of your life, you know, post like 55ish. What do you want that world to be as your kids all get older, as Portia goes off to college? You know, wouldn't it be fun to just live a Nashville late in life lesbian hoedown? I think it could be very nice. Anyway, so that was scoop. Okay, so then last night was the Critics Choice Awards and I was just saw stuff on the red carpet and I thought this was really fun. So the Hacks stars a very funny character of an assistant, an agent's assistant, Megan Stalter. She's hilarious. And who plays her boss is also Paul W. Downs. They showed up wearing the same outfit that Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner wore to a previous. I think his movie premiere, Marty supreme is out and it's getting critically acclaimed. So much that he did in fact win the Critics Choice award for it. Kylie was in the audience and. And what was juicy is that he for the first time in winning an award, but maybe he's been nominated and hadn't won it yet. I'm not sure. But he had a lot of. She went to awards ceremonies with him last year, but I think he didn't win. But he got on stage and he said and to my partner. And it was funny because the camera went to Michael B. Jordan first and then it went to Kylie's face for the last three years. I love our foundation and I couldn't do it without you. And then she like mouthed I love you back. And Kylie is just been looking gorgeous forever and I love her look. And we all, we wondered if this was a real relationship when it started. He said it was three years. A lot of people in the comments were like, wait a minute, I thought her younger, her youngest child, her little son heir is three. Then people corrected, no, he's almost four. Shortly after she gave birth, they made it clear that she and Travis, the father of both Air and Stormy, were no longer were not together but considered themselves each other family. There was this big vogue. I think it was Vogue. But they did a big like photo shoot right before the tragedy of Astro Astroworld happened. And then like they scrapped that. But people saw the photos and whatever, they are not together. She has been with Timothy in his real relationship. He's acknowledged it on stage. Of course, if he gets the Oscar, my friend Anna Roisman, who does an incredible Kris Jenner. I hope that she is in the audience and can also be acknowledged as the greatest momager in the world. But I think people really like this. And you know, people speculate, will Timothy and will Timothy and Kylie get married? What's next? And you know, the Kardashian girls are not big on actually getting married. You know, it doesn't seem to work out for them. What works out is choosing to have children and, and, and just being incredible mothers. How they go about that is it seems to work out as far as the mothers and choosing some of the fathers that they're in. Relationships worth don't seem to work out. So I don't know, I would, I would assume maybe Kylie would want to have more kids. But then I also see her loving this time in her life and thinking, well, my mom had like two sets of kids with a big break in between when she had the four kids with Robert Kardashian big break and then the two with Jenner herself and it all worked out. So I think she has plenty of time to think if she wants to have any more kids with anybody else. And they're so young and this is like a whole new world for her to enjoy as a partner of a Oscar winning actor who's only gonna have more exciting roles in his future. And being that she's been so successful in her own right, I just like love this and I love that they're out there but a little more private. They also went to the Palm Springs Festival that was also just the night before. And they, you know, Kylie has a house, Madison Club and so they could go there and it was like she looked gorgeous and, and Leo Decap, Leonardo DiCaprio couldn't make that because they, all these people were stranded in St. Barts because they couldn't fly. They stopped the air. You know, no one could fly in that area because of what was going on in Venezuela. And so these people, including Shep Rose, had to go back or stay at Saint Barts for another night or two and keep the party going with Jeff Bezos and all those St. Barts people. So. But I heard now they are back, people are, you know, the plastic surgeons have come home, the stars have come home. Every. Everything can get back to normal now. And you know, in that world, which is kind of funny, but anyway, I loved that, that they wore the same out. At first I thought it was kind of like lame, but then I thought, you know, again, this is a really smart way. If you're going to go to something and you're a comedian, why not? You're not gonna be no one's gonna care if you just look stunning now. You want enough of those red carpet outfits where you just look stunning. I think if you're truly gonna win the Oscar, that's when you have to. When you're nominated, like, for anything where you will give a memorable speech, don't go goofy. Go the most gorgeous, the most classic. I remember Julia Roberts had this, like, big hairpiece, and it was just like, that's what she wanted. She wore, like, a vintage dress, which was cool. So maybe that's why she wanted, like, a 1960s, like, bouffant. But I always thought as your possible one and only Oscar win, you just should have looked classic Julia Roberts. Like, you should. It's kind of like your wedding day. Like, you want to look good, but you also want to really look like yourself. And you kind of want to just have like a really. You know, if you never wear your hair up, I don't think you should wear your hair up on your wedding day. And if you never wear your hair up, I don't think you should wear it when you're possibly accepting the Oscars. So, like, but if you're just, like, going as a fun guest and your thing's being nominated, but you can have some fun with it. I thought whose every idea this was, and I assume it was Megan's to wear the outfit. The orange outfits was very funny and very clever. I just thought was a perfect dress. I thought it was perfect for her. I thought it was perfect for a lot of women that have this because I wanted you to see this. It's a great color. It's flattering on everybody. It has the pockets, it has a lot going on. It has just enough glitter. The color is that great color that looks great on everybody. It's like a burgundy wine. But then I noticed that she had or maybe the designer made it extra burgundy material kind of added to like the part. You know when you wear something like this and you're like, I don't like my vagina armpit or I don't like that my back fat is like squirting through. Just added some material to that. And I just think for these big nights, whether it's like your mother, the bride or it's your wedding, whatever, like go See a tailor. If you see a dress you love, get it enough in advance and say, like, you know what, I want this part covered. Or could you add a piece of material? If, like, if it's off the shoulder, can you add a little more material? Because my bat wings are showing and I'd like it covered up. I would like a bustle because I have a flat ass. I would like, like, you can do this in this day and age and get the best dress for you. And she looks great. I also thought saw Miley Cyrus wore a great pantsuit at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. And she is looking really good. I think that she got new teeth. I think she went too big on her teeth and then she returned them and got smaller veneers. And I also think Lisa Vanderpump did that. And so there's a movement there, but a great pantsuit. And especially if you have like boobs like her kind of far apart and you do a low cut blouse or, you know, no blouse or whatever, that is really sexy. So the point, as I'm saying, 2026, dress for your body. Know what looks good on your body and then go with that. Even if you admire a look on someone else, if that ain't your body, don't do it. Kate Hudson, great dress. This movie that Kate Hudson is in, weird name I know Sing Song Blue and it looks weird and they have like weird haircut. Anyway, it's with Hugh Jackman and she. And you know, she has started singing and I guess she sings in this. This is supposed to be a really great movie about a Neil diamond like, cover band. But it's like a. Everyone's saying, like, it's a surprising, unique story. So that is something I would go to see. I also saw Housemaid at the Movie Theater with Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Siegfried and it was very juicy and good. Totally up my alley. If you like a psychological thriller that deals with infidelity and like rich people, it's. It's there for the taking. Anyway, this dress for her, fabulous. You know, she has. It was like a low back and she has a great back and it was like a great dress and that's the perfect dress for her. Now, I have talked about fashion predictions and unfortunately many of mine have come true. The sheer dress, the groin vagina, cleavage that we've had to see, that like, you know, line between your crotch area and your thigh, that being featured as a type of cleavage that we don't need. Now it's crack cleavage. So there is fashion now saying this is the look how with a low back. Are you ready to show your crack? And I want to say, hopefully this isn't going to catch on because the fashions last night looked to be. Everybody looked really good. I didn't see anything weird or tacky. Now they are a level of actors that this isn't. That's not the Grammys. The critics choice is like, you know, a little bit up there. But anyway, let's hope that that doesn't come true. We talked about Kris Jenner inviting Meghan Markle and Harry to her 70th birthday. And then they called the next day and was like, oh, can you remove those. Those photos? Because we don't think we should have been partying when there was like this day of remembrance happening in the uk. Well, word on the street is Kris Jenner and Kim were like, we're never inviting those dorks again because that's the last thing we want. The day after a huge party when we have a team posting shit and getting it together and then we have to go and like, delete a photo. No, you don't. You don't do that. Okay? And also, if you've got a photo with any of those people, the Kardashians, you make sure that you get approval before you post. I made that mistake once. Went to a birthday party of Kris Jenner's. We took a bunch of photos. She knew we were taking a bunch of photos. It was girls dinner that morning. I thought it was a cute photo of her. I posted it and she did ask me to take it down. I peed a little in my bed. It was like six in the morning. My heart started to beat. I immediately removed it and, well, you know where I am now. Okay, this was weird. Okay, this. I came across this person. I was not following her. She came through my feed. Her name's Katherine Gordon. And she just did a photo of these three women in visors playing tennis and wrote mean girls. And I wrote, are these real women from your tennis group? I need to know more. Have you heard from them? And she just wrote these things like, women are toxic and da, da, da. And I'm like, is this just like a stock photo of like, mean tennis girl? I mean, did you really post, like, women from your tennis group that are not famous? Like, I thought that was so crazy. And also because this week a story came out about Ashley Tisdale, the actress singer. I believe she sings too. Anyway, she opened up about walking away from a toxic mom circle, saying the vibe turned fast and left her Frozen out. And people went and researched who this mom group was. Cause they all, you know, maybe they go to have kids at the same school, whatever. And they've talked about it like other people have talked about, oh, I have a great mom's group. And we just came back from Montecito and we did. And so they kind of figured out some of the women that are in it. And it involves Hilary Duff and maybe Mandy Moore, I'm not sure. And in the article, I guess I think there might have been a reference to opening up the phone and seeing that they had a girl's time without her and she saw it on social media, and they did not invite Ashley Tisdale. And this is really hard. No matter how old you are, whether you're Gen X or a millennial mom, it's really hard to think, like, why was I left out of that group text and not invited to this thing? And then you're like, well, fuck you. And this is so hurtful. Like, I've just got to write an article about it and expose that these people are bitches. But then the other side is like, well, you know, the group got really big and we couldn't include everybody. And it doesn't mean that we don't like you. And. But it's really hard in the mom era, time of, like, being included in things and not being included or opening up the Facebook or the Instagram and seeing that a kid in your son's or daughter's class had a party, your child wasn't invited. There's so many things that I didn't know I was missing out on. Thank God. Goodness. Growing up and being younger before social media. And maybe it's good that you know, because it's like, ah, may, okay, let me reevaluate this or let me utilize this relationship best as my ability without hurting my mental health. But, you know, not everybody can be invited to everything. And sometimes, Ashley, you've just gotta let them and. But now this is all exposed. So some of these people who are not famous because it's on the COVID of TMZ are probably like, oh, my God, like, I did not need this to start my 2026 year of just being, like, a rich millennial mom in Hollywood at a private school. This was not what I Now they. Now she's definitely not being invited to the next, like, wine night book club. Will Smith was sued, is sued by violinist Brian King Joseph for sexual harassment. One of my predictions was, I believe 2026 will be the year of the male me Too. It already started in 25. And before with Kevin Spacey, though he seemed to have prevailed in those lawsuits. Then there is a second person suing Tyler Henry for sexual harassment, a second male that worked on films with him. And now this story is that Will Smith did this tour, like, where he was singing and like, telling stories. And I don't know, it was a tour, like, happened this year. And he had this violinist. And the violinist said that he came back to his room and there was like a note and there was some like, P. Diddy kind of stuff there, like a baby oil. And he said there was like a threatening note that, like, he better put out or whatever, something. And so then when he was like, no, then he got fired. This is what allegedly it is. It's kind of hard because it's like the whole story's not really out there. But this is basically what he's saying is that he was harassed and coerced. And when he said no, then he was let go from the tour and they replaced him with another violinist. So that, you know, of course, the Will Smith and his people are denying it and everything, but technically he is being sued for sexual harassment. And the Brian King Joseph said it was a traumatic series of events that he endured while working and performing for Will Smith on his tour. Now let's get into a little bit of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The Cult of the Real Housewife is a three part limited series, just three episodes. It's on HBO, Max. The trailer dropped the weekend of BravoCon. And. But people are like, now, some of you guys, I know what I love is when you say, Heather, I don't even watch the Real Housewives, but you tell me the interesting things I need to know about it, and I love that. Okay? So if you're not watching it, you can still listen and find this interesting. There is a Real Housewife on there named Mary Cosby. And the. What is interesting is that she married her step grandfather and had a child with him. And the story is in a nutshell. She had a grandmother named Mama who came over from Indiana to Salt Lake City and formed her own Pentecostal church, which is like where they're kind of like dancing in the aisles and speaking in tongues and like saving people. And. And they had this church. And the mama also created all these other businesses while she had the church. Then she married this guy 20 years younger than her name, Robert. Then she died when she was 65 and he was 45. And when before she died, she said, I want you to marry one of my girls. So Mary Cosby, her granddaughter, ended up marrying him who is her step grandfather. So no, it's not truly incest, but it's weird as fuck. So that. And that was all on the show when, when the season, the first season. They're in their fifth season now. Real Housewives of Salt Lake came about. Now within the first year of the show, people were putting out stuff and I think I got stuff from the infamous Von Teese reality. Von Teese, where I listened to this audio of where she was berating her. She. Oh, she. So then she became the pastor of her own church with this husband of hers which was also the husband of her grandma, took over the church. And there was audio that got out after her first year of being on Real Housewives of her berating her parishioner saying it's my birthday and she's like screaming at them and I only got 14 envelopes of money and all of you better, you know, give me more because God doesn't like poor people and you're poor. You should have given me more money for my birthday. I heard that years ago. I never got over it. I always thought it was awful. But so then she left for a minute and wasn't on I think season three. And then she came back and was like not very involved in season four. Now season five, she got a standing ovation at BravoCon and people are loving her. She's interesting, she's funny, she appears to be a good friend to the other women. She's very involved, she's quirky, she isn't as mean. She was very mean to the girls in the past. And so if you're interested, this is a three part series laying out why they believe technically this church is a cult run by Mary and at one time her husband. Now we don't really hear from the husband much at all. There's other accusations in it. I am going to get more into it on Thursday show. I'm going to give you guys a little time to watch it. Tell me what you think. I have a very. A major player in the documentary that I'll be interviewing for a little bit of Thursday's show. So I want to get your questions about it. I think that Real Housewives and reality shows are for entertainment and the people that get cast are cast for the reason to get people to watch and, and get people to talk about it. Even if they're horrible people, they're not boring, they're interesting. I heard when Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was happening. There was a whole nother show that had a green light that was about people in Salt Lake City that was going to be greenlit by Bravo. This is allegedly told to me, okay. They're telling me that this was true. And then that person who thought their show was gonna go got the call and said, listen, we're gonna go with this other Real Housewives Salt Lake type show, because we found a woman who was married to her step grandpa, and they're like, game fucking over. That's the show that we're gonna go with. Sorry about your other show that had interesting Salt Lake City people in it, but you can't beat this, and you can't, because it really got people talking. And then she is drenched in what appears to be real label y stuff. Even if it wasn't real, her closet and her clothes are probably worth a million dollars. Even if it wasn't real, there's such an excess of it and there's so much of it. And she has multiple homes and everything, so where did the money come from? And she's like, well, it didn't come from my congregation. I only have 300 people. So did it come from businesses? What is it? But then there's all these excommunicated members that put together the. That are being interviewed on this show that tell what happened. And I think it's very easy for someone to sit back and watch a show about a cult or whatever and. And say, I can't believe this person stuck with it. How. How did they not see how this. They were being used and how weird this was. But that's the thing. If you weren't raised with religion or that kind of intense religion, where there's a lot of heaven and hell and who's God is talking through this person, and it's. It's very easy to get sucked into it. And just like when I interviewed on Juicy Crimes, Miscavige's niece about being in Scientology, it's like you just don't know anything else. And then when you. You don't want to leave the church because that's all, you know, it's your whole social life. It's. It's your whole family. It's, you know, all of that. So it is. It is well done. It is interesting. But do I think it'll affect her career on Bravo? No, I do not. I think that they already filmed the reunion. I'm sure none of this documentary was even brought up to Mary. They want to keep Mary. She is well liked. And this show was not done on Bravo. And there you go. However, they used a lot of comments, tweets, a lot of TikToks, a lot of clips from podcasts and Instagram videos and everything of people that are in this world that talk about Bravo shows and. And some of those content creators have also done other videos saying they never asked for my permission. They never. And they just used it. Well, once you put something out there on Instagram and TikTok and stuff, they can use it. They don't have to ask you. I know this because I did an interview with someone a couple years ago, and it was also used for a documentary, and I had actually removed that interview. It was with Joe Francis. I removed it from my YouTube and then they had already taken it off the YouTube and put it on their show, and there was nothing I could do about it. So sometimes they ask for permission. Bravo has asked me when they have, which I think is cool. And it's kind of nice to know, oh, you're using that. Great. But technically they can. And they use so many people to put this together that I think, you know, you're just one of many. But I get why it would kind of bug if you. If they didn't ask you then to, like, be a bigger part of it, though they took your content. So there is the juice there. So watch it. And we'll talk more about that on Thursday. One thing I did notice is on Mary underscore M. Cosby, 450,000 followers, which is her because it's got the blue check mark. Her profile doesn't. Doesn't start out with Real Housewives. It doesn't say pastor of the faith temple church. It says entrepreneur, event specialist. Then R H O S L C on Bravo, philanthropist and spiritual leader. Faith, fragrance and fashion. So I'm assuming she's coming out with a Holy spirit perfume. And, you know, she likes fashion. So to my prediction is come next season, the church will not even exist anymore. I think she will. I'm surprised she even came back and did anything at the church this past season. She said, oh, it was re being remodeled for three years. I went and checked it out, like three years ago when we were out there on spring break and it was. Nothing was going on. And I saw the photos of the mom and I looked in there, and it was kind of scary and like a ghost town. And then they go, we finally finished the remodel. It looked exactly the same. It looked exactly. So I'm like, what? And then Shay's like, oh, I'M back to preaching. I don't know why they even did that. But my my prediction and advice is that she abandons the churches altogether, divorces the Robert Sr. And then just has starts doing her own thing. And it was and then anything that happens she can say, look, I was under the spell of being married to my step grandpa. That's why I behave that way. Now that I'm a real housewife and have been freed by Andy Cohen himself, I can be a divorced housewife and I can sell holy water perfume. How are you?
B
Oh, thanks, Heather. I'm so excited to be here with you on this podcast.
A
Well, it was so great seeing you again. We met many years ago through our mutual friend Jill Zarin. And she kept telling me, she goes, that's Hillary's show. It's so exciting. Got to see Hillary's show. And then she's like, writing me because I was coming there for the Rachel, you could tell wedding. And she's like, come over to Hillary's house. You're going to die. When you see your closet, it's sick. You're going to die. And it was so fun to come to your house. Before I'd seen the series, though, it dropped that day. And then get to see your house on the show, which really is truly stunning. You have quite the eye for real estate and design.
B
Thank you. I appreciate that. It was fun having you by my pool and. Yeah, had a good time.
A
So the show, for those who haven't seen it's, much like Housewives, but it's not a Housewives show. And it's on Netflix. Takes a handful of women. I think there's six of you in the poster, right? Oh, no, there's five of you in the poster. And, you know, and that brings you together and you're in this beautiful setting and we see these beautiful homes and. And technically, they say. They say it's Palm beach, but people say it's not filmed in Palm beach. And that's a big controversy where I'm like, who cares? I don't really get why people are so weird about it. But I heard somewhere that they won't allow filming in the actual Palm Beach. Is that true?
B
No, it's actually not true. And just to set the record straight. Cause it's really, you know, I'm reading, you know, as much as I can, but it's so overwhelming. So many people are like, well, Hilary Musser lives in West Palm Beach. Never said I didn't live in West Palm Beach. But just for the record, moved here in 2005, bought a house at 137 Woodbridge Road, or lived in a beautiful Mediterranean mansion, which was right across the street from Mar a Lago. And actually, the only reason or how I would ever become a member at that young age was because the houses all came with a membership. So, you know, it's. It's just funny because every house he gave a membership to was because when he bought it, you know, it was a lot of construction that he had to do. So he wanted to keep the only neighbors that he had.
A
Yeah, I get it.
B
So either way, the whole street, if you live Dunwood Bridge, you gotta membership, right? And then you just had to pay the dues. Of course, when I decided to move to West Palm beach, it was because, you know, my husband at the time, big joke about husband number three, really loved boating. And so, you know, we could afford a house in West Palm on the water, you know, but in Palm BEACH, actually, in 2005, I almost bought a house on the water. It was less money than the house I bought from Jill and Abby Glaser. You know, they are a fantastically well known couple here that own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the soccer, what is it, Manchester United. And they actually just are opening up the new playhouse in Palm Beach. Are a wonderful couple. They've remained friends and I bought the house from them. I joke. It was a beautiful Mediterranean mansion, brand new. They never even used the kitchen. That it was like their starter home was they were building their mansion. But it was quite a mansion in and of itself. And, you know, they wrote about that when I moved down there. They were like, socialite from Philadelphia, Hillary Musser, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I hated being called a socialite because it always minimized, you know, my credibility. I felt as a business person because I am a true entrepreneur. So. So I've lived on the island for many years, guys. I am a Palm Beacher. I belong to two clubs there. And I really take sort of offense being here for 22 years. I played in the Palm beach town tennis team for 19 years to be treated like I'M not part of the real Palm beach when I, in fact, am. And I am proud to be living on the water in the house you went to.
A
Oh, my God, it was gorgeous. I said, you know, when I got there, you were like, you know, you can stay here. And I'm like, well, I'm already at this other hotel that was close to the wedding that we were doing it. But I did. I came back the next day, and I said, I just want to lay in your backyard. I don't even care. And you're like, okay, just come on by. And I just laid. I was like. It was. It's so stunning, you know, and you have such an eye and your art and everything. But before we get into that, I just want to get a little into your life so that people kind of understand you shared a little bit with us right now. But one of the things that adds to the fun of the show and what people imagine this wealthy world to be is you're on your fifth husband, your fifth and final husband. And he is delightful. And I met him, Luke. He's lovely. And so can we go through the husbands? Like, who is one, who is two? Like, can we just get a little Cliff note of your life and love life?
B
And I did that on the show, but it somehow made it to the cutting room floor, so I'd be very happy.
A
We'll do it here, then. Let's hear it here.
B
Husband number one, great guy, Danny Schwartz. We dated for five years. You know, the perfect Jewish guy for me to marry. But, you know, about 10 months in, we just really weren't getting along. It was just quite that simple. You know, we didn't live well together.
A
Right.
B
And Danny and I, you know, went on trip to figure out if we should stay married. And I got a liver tumor that I almost killed me from. Birth control pills. My liver had a tumor on it this big. I had two and a half liters of blood in my stomach. By the time I got to a hospital, my husband almost killed me because he just wasn't taking me seriously. And my parents came, flew in from Boston. I was in intensive care. They cut me open from here to here, took out my gallbladder because it was in the way. So thank you very much for that. And then, you know, saved my life. Instead, I had 30 minutes left to live.
A
Oh, my God. And that was all with husband number one.
B
Yeah. My parents said, we need you to leave him.
A
Okay. So then you got rid of him. Then you. And then you met Musser prior to.
B
My even marrying Danny. I had met Pete Musser through work. Anyway, this started the flirtation and you know, I knew that he had the hots for me, but look, I'm 38 years younger, like serious. I wasn't even taking him to seriously.
A
So then who was number two?
B
Musser.
A
Oh, so Musser was number two. Okay, so then you fall in love, you get married to him, and he's much older and wealthy, obviously. And how, how long were you married to him for? Because you had your son with him. Right. Well, it's.
B
It's kind of like I woke up in the hospital, he called me incessantly, he was madly in love with me. And I kind of had this aha moment. Like, you know what? He's amazing and he's so smart and he's so sexy and life is short. I almost died. So what if he's 38 years older? Who cares? It was like a defining moment in my life, whereupon I said, what am I doing? And it had. People love to write. Oh, she married a billionaire. Number one, at that time he was worth like say 30 million, which in today's standards is not a lot of money. Really. It's not billionaire category by any means on paper. Over the next five years, for about two and a half months, Pete Muster was a billionaire on paper. And guess what? Then he was negative 40 million. And that was real because all that money was gone. And that was in October of 2000. And we got married in November of 2000. So I really get pissed when people say Hilary Musser married a billionaire. And Hillary Musser has this because she married a billionaire. You know what? It's all in a book, Richard, written by Robert Frank. You can read it. The true story. It's in a million different articles, but yet still today, these rags, I'll call them, are writing about me like I'm only where I am today because of my billionaire husband. And that's just horseshit. Didn't happen that way. And in fact, I had bought a lot of real estate, done really well in Nantucket doing developments as a builder, and I saved his butt. They, they said if you pay off, you know, a big amount of money. Let me just say I won't tell you the number of his debt. This is right after we got married. We won't fire him as CEO of his own company. I paid it off. I took a big mortgage out of my Nantucket properties to do it. And guess what? They fired him anyway. So we ended up in a hole, A big fat hole. We Turned it around. We started our own company called the Muscle Group and started investing in different businesses together as venture capitalists. And I was an entrepreneur and I got booted out of my own company from Safeguard, which was his company, and he got booted from his own company. So here we were, just having to start like two young entrepreneurs all over again. People don't know that story. And that's a really. It's a really important story. And I'm writing a book.
A
Good.
B
And it's not really a biography, but it's going to touch on the real true story, so.
A
And then you have your son. You do get pregnant with your son, Cooper.
B
Yeah.
A
So who I met, who is a delight.
B
Thank you.
A
And we see him a little bit in the show, but he's really so. Was so pleasant and charming and. And so why did the marriage end?
B
Well, as I say in the book, and I've said in many articles, everybody knew Pete Musser was a ladies man. Nobody ever thought that he would be a ladies man with me. You know, like, I'm 38 years younger, really cute. You know, we have a baby who is the light of his life and was until he passed away. And, you know, I think it was the loss of the power, you know, the loss of his company, the loss of that money where he was looking for affirmation that maybe I just wasn't giving him anymore because I was really focused on the baby, you know, and all my attention all of a sudden was placed on Cooper. So when Cooper was a year and a half old, you know, I caught him cheating with like, the town, you know, on Nantucket. And even though it only been going on like two or three weeks, I just, I was, I was devastated. Yes, really devastated. I thought, oh, my God. And for six months, he wrote me like a ten page love letter, really loved me, tried to explain it away. And the most profound thing he could come up with was, I'm really sorry, honey. It was a brain fart. I'm like, did you use the word brain fart? Like the most intelligent man I've ever met in my life just said brain fart. Okay, I can't do this, right? Like, seriously, brain fart. It's not a brain fart. It's a big, huge breach of trust. And at the end of the day, I was very proud and very young. And I picked up my. I picked up all my stuff and I said, I can't give you six months. I'm done at four months. And I took Cooper and I moved to Our house on a dirt road on the ocean in Nantucket. And come about the middle of October, I said, ooh, this is pretty lonely out here, you know? And even though I had a boyfriend on the island, I was like, I gotta go. So all my friends, like, one of my friends flew me down on the private plane to Palm beach, and I bought a house that day. And that was that house next to Mar a Lago. And I was like, this is cool. And then I could just walk across the street, like, I lived in a country club, pick up my tennis racket, get a meal, you know, And Cooper had swimming pools, you know, with other kids and playground and, you know, it was just a lifestyle.
A
Is that how you met three?
B
I met number three at, like, a bar restaurant with a friend who dragged me out that night. And I said to this guy next to me, he's really cute. And he goes, oh, yeah. He's, like, in real estate. I know him. His name is Tom Bishop. And, you know, would you like to meet him? I go, yeah, hell, yeah, I'd like to meet him. And I really click with him all that much. But I hated dating. We were very different. But he came over for Thanksgiving, and my sister goes, he is by far the hottest guy you have ever dated in your entire life. And I was like, yeah, he's really hot. And then all my girlfriends were like, if you don't want him, we got a line of girls that'll take him. And I was like, no, I'm going to keep him. I'm going to keep him. You know, it was like a contest, and we weren't suited for each other. He was hot. He was really hot, and he was funny, and he loved my kid.
A
So how long did that one last?
B
Seven years.
A
Okay. And so then that ran its course. And then.
B
And Pete was 12. Pete was 12 years.
A
Pester was 12 years. Number three was seven years. Number four is who you were with when I hung out with you during that Jill Zarin luxury weekend, Hamptons. And he seemed nice enough. So how long were you with him for?
B
For nine years. Dating and marrying together. Oh, and he was a bank. He's a banker. His name is Dale. And he was the antithesis of Tom. So, like, if you could take somebody and put them in two different compartments, he was never gonna.
C
And.
B
And Tom also was a bit of a, you know, ladies man. Let's put it that way. That's an idea.
A
Tom was three. Tom was three.
B
He was a ladies man. And I'm like, I'm done. With these ladies, man, you know, this is so stupid, and I need a loyal guy. He was loyal as a golden retriever, okay? But he was, you know, just didn't last. He was, you know, he was a little too boring for me.
A
A little too boring. And then you go on vacation and you meet Luke.
B
I meet Luke, not boring.
A
And he was. He was the doorman at your hotel?
B
He was the doorman at my hotel, the Hotel de la Rope in Amsterdam. So I didn't meet him the first two days. And I made friends with this concierge, Saunder, and he was darling. Just. Just text me when you need a ride back from. You know, it was like the Champs Elysees of. Of Amsterdam. So I'm buying remote luggage to put all my new stuff in that I bought. And I texted him, I need a ride, and drives up this gorgeous fancy Mercedes golf cart with this really tall guy with the most gorgeous blue eyes with a black top hat. And I looked out the window and his blue eyes just pierced through my soul. But what really got me was I told him they would deliver the luggage, and he goes, no, I'm getting. He goes in, he grabs the luggage, puts it in the car, and I go, I need to go to go Gucci. And he goes, let's go to Gucci. That sounds like fun. And that man knew his way around Gucci. And I could tell he was not your average doorman. And the reason he knew his way around Gucci was because he'd been there many times growing up with his mother and his father. You know, he came from a really nice family. His dad was an uber famous doctor, research doctor. You know, his mom had passed away. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet her because she was really into shopping like I am. And he hung out with me for like an hour and a half in Gucci. We had the best time. We were drinking champagne, and he was really smart, but I still wasn't thinking about dating him. I was in Amsterdam. My son went off to his summer program. And then Luke and I were flirting. If you look at that picture of us, it's on the show that was just in front of the hotel when I was walking out to go do something with Cooper.
A
And.
B
And. And it looks like we're madly in love. And you could just tell the energy between us was there from the beginning, before any kiss, before anything. Then I went seven hours to Baden Baden, Germany, to a spa. And he whatsapped me the next day. And he was, you know, really sweet. WhatsApp. And somehow I had the guts to write back and say, well, I'm doing fine, but it would be. I wouldn't be so lonely if you were here. Can you believe I said that?
A
And that was it.
B
He drove seven and a half hours and said he'll be there for a late lunch the next day.
A
Wow.
B
And he never left.
A
So he never leaves. You get married, and then this opportunity for the show comes up. So now let's just jump to the show and what people are. I have questions about the show, so let's go through some of the. The girls. So you're good friends with Taja?
B
Yes, I met Tasha through Jill.
A
Through Jill. And. And what I love about, like, you and Jill truly are friends, and. And are very supportive of each other, which I love. She was very excited about all of this for you, which I love. And. And Tasha, you know, she comes off, well in the show, like, you guys come off pretty normal, but there's, like, some. There's some interesting characters on your show. So there's Maria, who is a dj. Like, she's the DJ at the country club. And I don't really understand. She seems, you know, like a nice person, but I don't understand how she. How they found her. I mean, but she is someone that you kind of can't take your eyes away from, so I understand why they cast her. But what was. Did you ever know her prior to filming?
B
I didn't know her prior to filming. Actually. Taja recommended her, and they knew each other. I mean, she's not the DJ at Mar a Lago so much as she was the DJ in the past, you know, couple years or so for the Big Dog Ranch event. I have no idea if she's doing it again, but. So there isn't one DJ at Mar a Lago specifically. You know, they have different DJs for different events, just to be clear. But she does DJ a lot in Del Rey and places like that. And she is a character. Yeah, she's, you know, she's. She's got a lot to say, and she's, you know. Yeah, she's filled with a lot of drama, so I guess she's good for tv. Yes.
A
And then really, in the poster, the woman that I think got a lot of airtime that didn't make the poster was Gayle. And Gail is much older than you guys, though, very attractive. And she's doing this whole thing with Rosalyn, who is. If you cast. If this was a scripted show, I think someone would say Rosalynn is too over the top. Like, no one will believe that Rosalynn exists because the bright blonde hair and, you know, the way she talks with her voice and everything, she's just. She's also a character. And so the whole thing is, Gail is like. They have this love affair, friendship, where she's like, I'm gonna pass the baton. You're gonna be the queen of Palm Beach. And I didn't know if this was put on for the show because it's kind of like they wanted. The producers wanted to be like, Palm Royale, but it just was so weird and unbelievable. And then it's like she was so name droppy about her life in the past, but it was funny. It's like everybody has met that woman that's like, oh, when I walked into a restaurant, I was so stunning, busboys used to crash into each other. And then I was hanging out with JFK Jr. And, like, whatever the story is, like, it just. It was. She is ridiculous. But funny.
B
Well, yeah. I mean, I think the producers really loved her because she added sort of a, you know, a dose of complete ridiculousness to the show. I'm sure you could see my reaction, you know? Yeah. I mean, I think the funniest thing I said was. And I was, of course, being cheeky, right? I said, you know, you should go to Elon Musk and ask him if he'll donate a trip to the moon for one of your very many charities, which you haven't shared in over 20 years. But that's okay. I mean, I think that was hilarious. And she took me seriously. You know, I don't.
A
I know she took you seriously. It was so funny because, you know, if anyone has ever been to a big auction or whatever, people will give their house or their whatever. And you're like, ask Elon to, like, send someone to the moon for, you know, and bid on that. That'd be a great charity. And, yeah, it was like, she did not. She didn't get. It went right over her head, and it was. It was very funny. And you know what's so funny is that scene, that famous scene in it where she sits too much on the edge of the lounge chair and she falls, and her wig, which was not a good wig, falls off, though the women. All of the women helped straighten it on her head. This past weekend, when I was at the wedding, I sat on the edge of a chair and fell. And I was like, oh, my God. I just pulled a gale. I wasn't wearing a wig, thank God. When I just pulled a Gale. I'm like. I just felt like exactly like this woman. So she just was like a friend of. I guess that's why she didn't make the poster or what?
B
Yeah, I mean, Roslyn brought her in. Reportedly, Rosalind said she brought her in because she had no friends on the show, which wasn't true at all. I mean, see, Rosalind knew romina for many, 20 years or whatever. I mean, I think, candidly, that she brought Gail in to say the things that she didn't have the chutzpah to say on her own. Right. So there were certain things she kind of wanted to attack me, but she couldn't really do it. So she. She. You know, she. She shoveled that over to Gail, and Gail had no problem, you know, blurting out anything. So I felt like, you know, she kind of used Gail a little bit as a mouthpiece maybe. She used her to give her some. Some credibility, which she was lacking. Right. You know? Yeah, it's. It's sort of no secret in Palm beach that Rosalind has not made a lot of friends on the island. And so the problem that I had was, you know, I. First of all, she said she wasn't doing the show. So when I invited those people that she had legitimate issues with, they had legitimate issues with her. And I mean, issues I can't talk about, you know, because. Can't talk about them. Okay, but they're legitimate, right?
A
Yeah.
B
I didn't think she was on the show. So this whole story, you know, about me being, you know, excluding her, I'm not an exclusionary person, but she wasn't on the show because she said she wasn't doing the show. And then all of a sudden, like, two days before we started shooting, she was like, I've decided to do it. And meanwhile, I had three people who. Who could not be in the same room with her, like, legitimately could not be in the same room with her. So when.
A
So when people talk about, like, oh, you can't do this on the island, and all that stuff, I mean, that really is true. Like, once you've lived there for that long, there really is. There really is that kind of society life that really does exist.
B
Well, look, you know, if you piss off one person, a group, you piss off them all. People stick together, right? So, like, just somehow in the group of folks that. That, you know, that I know, and I hang out with everybody, really, you know, I mean, I don't have a group I hang out with. I'm sort of friends with everybody. I've been there 22 years. You know, there's not, like, I'm not, like, part of a clique. That's not my style, but. But, you know, one of the people in the group is my neighbor. I see him every day. I mean, you know, we're close. And so it was impossible for me to include her in that. In that first event. And, of course, that became the whole story for the show. You know, it was like Rosalind against Hillary, Roslyn against Hillary, you know, and she wasn't even supposed to be on the show, so it was. It was kind of difficult to navigate that for me because I couldn't really talk about what really was the truth.
A
Oh, well, maybe that'll come out next season in a way.
B
Yeah. I mean.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
Okay.
B
Well, I do have to say one more thing about that. I mean, I call her Rara. But the thing about Rara is, you know, she makes it out like she's this big, innocent person who's only ever looked left or right at her husband. She's been married. Married before. You know, that's her second husband.
A
Who. Wait, Rosalyn or Romina? Oh, is the second husband the one she had all five kids with, or.
B
No, no, she had two kids with the first husband in Israel, married to an Israeli guy, and. And then she moved back to America, and, you know, it just wasn't really a true story, you know, and her mother was friendly with a really good friend of mine, and the mother's husband was the CFO of a very big company. I don't think she grew up so poor, you know, so that's kind of a story. And, you know, it's kind of used to sort of make me look like, you know, I'm this flaky person with five husbands, and she's only ever had one guy in her whole life. Well, that's not true. So, you know, I kind of want to push back on that. Right.
A
Okay, good. And then Romina is the youngest of the group, and she comes off very likable and relatable. And, you know, her storyline is like, can I fit in here? And she has this big party, and much in the housewife fashion, she is a singer. So I need to know, how was that song that she performed at her own birthday party?
B
Look, I like Romina. You know, I tried to mentor her, but she chose, I think, the wrong horse to be mentored by. Yeah, she was a different horse next season. I like Romina. I tried to mentor her, but, you know, look, you know, Rosalyn has known her a long time and brought her onto the show, so she's gotta show some loyalty there, and I respect that, too. Yeah, but where we are with that. Right. Is she is trying really to be a fashion designer, but singing is a passion. I thought she was fine. I mean, my voice is so bad that anybody sounds better than I do. So to me, she sounded great. And I think her clothing line is kind of gitchy. You know, I think she has some good stuff and she has some not so good stuff.
A
But.
B
But I applaud her for putting it out there and trying to do it.
A
But in real life, have you ever really, like, mentored, like, a young, younger woman who's trying to. Trying to fit in, that needs, like, the tips of, like, what to wear, what not to wear, or. Or what to do, what not to say?
B
I've mentored plenty of young women professionally, but certainly nobody's ever come to me and asked me how to act.
A
Oh, okay. So only professionally, not, like, society wise.
B
Yeah, I mean, you know, I'm so not into that stuff. Really?
A
Yeah, about.
B
Oh, no boobs and no knees. And you have to act a certain way. You see, me, I don't act like that. And I got a lot of friends in Palm beach island, and I've been there 22 years, and I really, you know, I really haven't made very many. I haven't can't. I can't find any enemies that I have. And I think I've navigated my way through, like, quite easily. I fit right in when I got there. So, look, I don't know really what that's all about. I don't. I think it's. I think it's a little bit blown up.
A
So did you know Jill while she was currently filming Housewives, or did you meet her after she had left Housewives? Cause I know you guys have been friends for at least a decade or so.
B
Yeah, I mean, this mutual friend of ours, Maura Fiore, said, hey, you know, let's go. And I met her playing tennis at Mar a Lago. She. And then she was a captain of the town tennis team. And we've been great friends. Still great friends. She moved to LA at the time. She still lived in Palm beach. And she said, I'm making a tennis game with a friend of mine, Jill Zarin. You know, she's not fantastic. It's not going to be the best game that we've had, but you'll love.
A
Oh, she'll love this.
B
But you'll. No one Knows she's such a better tennis player now. She's really improved. She's amazing.
A
Yeah.
B
I come do the member guests with her at Woodfield every year, but at the time she just started playing. Yeah. So, you know, but let's have fun. You'll love her. I'd like to introduce you to her. Aka, by the way, she was a New York housewife. And I go, well, I've never watched the show. I have no idea. I don't. I don't watch reality tv. So she, she came and we just were like sisters from the minute we met.
A
And so since you weren't someone that, like, watched it, you know, like the way I've been into it since, like day one. And that's how I met Jill, through the business. When did you ever think that you could be on a reality show? What did you think when the opportunity presented itself at this point in your life?
B
Well, I've been asked at least five or six times to be on a reality show. I mean, many, many people have tried to do a Palm beach show. You can film on the island with a permit, inside of buildings and inside of private homes. You just can't walk around with your video camera, you know, filming, you know, Rod Stewart's house and so. And so's house. That's what they're trying to avoid. So they tried to do a show. They came and filmed at my Woodbridge house on the island, and I filmed with Cooper with my husband Tom at the time. And that was contract signing time, right? They. They gave me a contract. It was just a production company. And I saw that contract. I'm like, I don't like it. I didn't sign it. And then it didn't end up happening, Right. It ended up, you know, just falling apart.
A
Right.
B
And, you know, I. I was bringing my son to some castings I got. Casting director pulled me aside and said she wanted me for a show on hard money lending. And she sent my. She asked to film me. And I'm like, all right. I was taking my son to a casting. He's an actor in Miami. And then that guy called me and wanted to do a show with me. It never panned out into anything. I said I would be interested in tennis, doing a show on tennis. And we couldn't get that together. Ladies on the island didn't really want to be filmed playing tennis, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And then, you know, another time I was at Paramount with the head of casting there, and he was green screening Cooper and he goes, I want to put you in the movies. You would be so funny. You'd be so great on screen. And I'm like, no, no, no, I'm here for my son. Like almost TV and film was calling my name for the last 20 years and I kept pushing it away. And then when this one came, you know, I talked to Jill about it and I was like, I think I'm ready. And you know, I used it in my mind to convince myself that this is a great opportunity to expand my brand. Hillary Messer Homes and the developments that I do. You know, I knew that I would just be finishing the most expensive, most exclusive, high end home designed interiors by Paltrona Frau. Do you know who they are?
A
Yes, you told me that's all the leather interior of Ferrari. Right?
B
Every Ferrari in Rolls Royce. Your seats and your dashes are made by Paul Trenifrau. So it really is a Hilary Musser interior design Paul Trena Frau house.
A
Have you gotten a lot of inquiries since it's been featured? And you know, you show it on your Instagram as well. So have you gotten any interest?
B
Yeah, I mean, it is my passion. I'm sorry for the pitch, but yeah.
A
Yeah, no, I get it. It's. It's amazing. Everyone needs to go to her Instagram and watch her videos about this house.
B
It is the culmination of 30 years worth of mistakes.
A
Yeah. Oh, that's so interesting.
B
So for 30 years I've been building houses. I took all my mistakes, I corrected them, and I made a house that I want to live in, which I think is a really high standard. Right. Because you got to always be prepared. If you don't sell it, you got to move into it. So we have been on the market for less than a couple of weeks live and I have had several really great showings. I've had two people contemplating an offer. So I'm waiting and I have another really interested guy on Friday. So I'm feeling that the house is really hot and I'm hoping like by the end of January, you know, somebody else is going to own it and be a really happy camper.
A
Well, I got to drive by because Jill gave me the wrong address. So I go, I go, no, I.
B
Gave you the wrong address.
A
No, no, Jill. Jill did it. Jill texted me and I go, are you guys like in this modern house that's like construction going on? And she's like, oh, no, that's the one she's building. Oh my God, it's close. Oh, I'm such an idiot. So Then I go to the other house. So I saw it in person, and the location is to die, and it's amazing. I know we have to wrap it up. So I just want to ask you a couple things. What's been, you know, providing the show goes forward and you do another season, what would you like to. What would you like to experience in this next season that you didn't experience in the previous one?
B
Well, I'd like a little more truth. You know, there was a lot of things that sort of were swept under the carpet. Right. And I'm right out there with the truth about everything. Right. I'm a straight shooter. You know, I'd like to get another new cast member that's a little bit, you know, maybe actually from Palm beach island to squelch all this talk about it's not real Palm Beachers.
A
When.
B
When I am. I'm both a Palm Beacher and a West Palm Beacher.
A
I'm both.
B
Right. I'd like to get somebody maybe a little bit more down to earth, like me. Right. A little.
A
What about the. How do you. Did you know that Sue Bell. Because people follow her on Instagram, they loved seeing her in one of the days. She was fun to pop in.
B
She's one of my best friends. I brought her onto the show.
A
Oh, okay.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
But she's great on Instagram.
B
Yeah. Her brand is taking off. Yeah. You know, look, she's, you know, like 79 years old and. And the shooting day was really long for her, and she just sort of shared with me that she's not sure she's going to be able to put the kind of time in that she did last year. Because, you know, we. We. We have some long days, and it's a lot.
A
Yeah, it's a lot harder than people think. It's a lot more exhausting. And what have you liked about this past week of the show being out and what have you. What has been hard?
B
I think some of the things that I've loved, you know, the attention is great. I got my first fan photo, you know, the day after the show at table 26 with my son at the bar. It was like she was like, oh, my God, I want to work for you. I want to change my life to be a Realtor. I want to do this. I want to. And she was so cute, you know, and those kind of things are great. And I've had a lot of great. Thank you for all the fan mail. I've had. Like, like, no haters. And I'm really Proud, like people are talking to me about the fact that I'm inspiring them other women. And that's what my book is about. So I'm really excited about that. And that's been really positive, right? I mean, the only negative is, you know, when they start publishing stuff that's not true, right? Like, yeah, I am self made. Don't, don't, don't put me in a different category than I am. And I've worked so hard. I hate that. So, you know, but you, you go on tv, you go on reality tv, you go on a show like this and you just got to expect it, right?
A
Well, I'm excited for them to see more of you because I got to meet your sister and your niece and they're fun and cool. Like I said, I got to spend time with your son. Luke is a delight and fun and funny. So I just think more of your life. So I felt like, you know, out of all the girls, I felt very blessed to be able to interview you, who I met many years ago and we had fun together and that, you know, that you're the real deal. And like I said that you really, you really have a business. You really have done it for years. You really have talent and in a hard business. And so I think it's great. And I think the show is extremely entertaining. There's a lot of like people hating it, you know, but they watch the whole thing. Cause they think it's somewhat, you know, a political side just because of where you're located. And so there's some of that where I'm like, well, so what? You watch the whole thing. That's the point, you know, like, whatever. But I think I'd like to see more of it and I think it would be really fun if this takes off that who's ever doing this show? There's more like members only, LA members only, Scottsdale members only, just finding kind of exclusive parts of America where people want to step in and go, what's it like to live there? Not so much like a housewives thing, more like, what's it like to live there? What is, what's the vibe about? And I think that's why they were dipping their toe in with the Palm beach, because of the interest of Palm beach and Palm Royale. But I could see it really growing as a franchise. And so I think it's great.
B
Well, we actually started, you know, the show before we knew about Palm Royale. It just was uber lucky. And we also started the show before Trump was elected, so. Oh, I think we got really lucky with the timing, you know, with. And it's so exciting to be in the top 10, at the top eight this morning. And then my executive producer, Johnny Gould from Super Luna told me on the phone today that we're like, top five in Canada. He goes top three in Kenya. You know, my husband's talking to friends from all over the world and he's going, oh, the women in Singapore love you. You know, And I'm like, oh, my God. Like, all of a sudden I've lost my anonymity. And I was fairly anonymous before in my own mind at least, even if I wasn't. And I think that this is a journey, a new journey, at least in my life.
A
Yeah, I think it's a journey. And my advice is, especially at this point of your life, you know, you have a grown son who's got his head on straight, so you're already in a better position than a lot of housewives that started where maybe their kids didn't ask to be in the limelight or whatever. And I think that you should just have a blast with it and utilize it like you are and just have so much fun, because I think it's a great future and you're at a great point in your life. It's good this didn't happen when you were 40. It's happening now for a reason. So have a blast with it.
B
No, thank you. And, you know, look, it's, there's, there's, there's no harm, no foul with the, you know, with all the girls. It's a group of girls, you know.
A
Yeah.
B
And, you know, at the end of the day, you know, this is a little journey that we did all do together. So that's, you know, been, you know, we have a little camaraderie there, but I think we could use a little bit, maybe a couple of other people to mix it up. So I think you'll wait to see next season. You might see some new faces. Yeah, I might see some younger faces, too, you know, just to give it a little spice. Yeah, just hold on and wait and see. Who knows what's gonna happen. It's certainly not my decision.
A
Well, tell everybody where they can follow you on Instagram.
B
Hillary with one L@HillaryMusserHomes on Instagram. And that's my website, too.com and tick tock. Oh, gee, I don't know. I think my Tick Tock is the same.
A
Okay, good. But.
B
Oh, you know what's funny? You'll love this, though, before you hang up on Me?
A
Yeah.
B
There was a tick tock with Jill and I next to each other. Did you see it?
A
No. But I know people are saying they look so much alike. And before they knew your friends, people were commenting saying, she reminds me of Jill Zarin.
B
And it's so funny because we. We really are different. Like, we. We're totally different in a room, right? You put us in a room, we're different, but people put us together. It must be the energy that we have together, you know, and I'm not some energy guru or anything, but that energy we have together must. Must make people sort of feel it. And that's the energy we felt when we met and the energy I felt when I met you. I mean, I met you, you know, probably 10 times now over the last 10 years. And yeah, I've always loved you. So I'm so honored that you chose me to sit here and do this podcast with you. And I hope it's not our last one.
A
Oh, no, absolutely not. Well, thank you so much. And everybody, the show is members only. Is it Palm beach members only or members only? Palm beach members only.
B
Palm Beach.
A
Okay. And of course, it's on Netflix, so you can binge it and it's fun. And. And then follow Hillary as well. Thank you so much. I'll talk to you soon.
B
Thanks. Take care. Have a great one.

The heart of the episode is a candid, entertaining interview with Hillary Musser — one of the main personalities on Netflix’s glitzy new reality series.
