Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. All right, let's get into it. This news came from some creators that I follow earlier last night and it was like from good sources. Angie from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. She is the Greek girl that said you had high body count hair and she owns many salons and and she has a husband named Sean and one daughter and they've been married for very long, I think 26 years. And so I started to see some things pop up last night saying a very good source said that they are separated and that allegedly it's because he is having an affair with one of the stylists at these salons that they have. I was, you know, didn't know that it was true or anything. But then today, Page Six did say that it's an exclusive through Page Six that the Angie Katsanovas, I know I'm saying her last name wrong. And her husband Sean, have separated after, sorry, 27 years of marriage. Now, I did not have time to add up how many divorces within the Real Housewife franchise what this one would be. I think last I checked, it was 18. It's gotta be up to like 24 by now with Bronwyn, just from this alone franchise alone, Bronwyn had filed for divorce. And now I assume they're getting divorced as well. Now, for those of you that don't remember, there was controversy in their marriage, as every marriage. I mean, we've talked about how when you go and audition for these shows, they want to know about your life. Want to know that it's intriguing anybody that's been married that long, nobody has a perfect marriage. Everyone's going to have some type of cracks. And there were rumors that then got brought up to light through the other cast members about Sean possibly being. Being gay. And she took offense to that. There was no proof to it. It was annoying. And just because they own hair salons and he, I think himself was a stylist, doesn't mean he's gay. There are male hairstylists that do women's hair that are straight. There was a whole famous movie called Shampoo about this character that, like, just slept with all these la beautiful women that he did their hair and they just, you know, and he was straight as could be. Anyway, this news did break. This is all we really know is that they're separated. We don't know if it's an affair. We don't know who this. If anybody cheated on anybody or if they have just come to the end of their marriage together. Of course, being on reality tv, it highlights whatever cracks in the marriage there is, and it changes the dynamic. The biggest thing is that you're famous. The biggest thing is that you. You are not who you were before you allowed the cameras in. And then with all of that comes. Everyone is on social media, including your husband, your daughter, and they see all these comments and it could just be really hard on a marriage. And it's possible that it wasn't that strong of a marriage when they started the show. And you never know when someone goes on this show, whether it's solely to. I think it'll be fun and it'll highlight our business with the hair. I think they also, like, teach hairstyling at these Salons that it can, you know, really. And also just fun to be a famous person and fun to, you know, do photo shoots and all of this. But as we see, it can really change a dynamic in the home and in a marriage. And I remember asking one housewife, I'm not gonna say it was. Who did get divorced after a couple seasons of. And this was quite a while ago. And I said, I just have to ask you, when you said yes to doing the show, did you ever think it would affect your marriage in a negative way? Where was your marriage at the time when you accepted being on the show? And she said, I never thought. I always knew I'd eventually get divorced, but I thought it would be further along. I thought I would get divorced, like, at 60. I didn't. You know, I just thought. And this, this. It just. It speeds up something that's already broken. I don't think that you would get divorced because of the show, but I think it speeds up something. And it certainly doesn't heal it. Like, if there was a crack, it makes the crack bigger, and then the crack spreads apart and everything falls in like a giant sinkhole.
B
And.
A
And in la. And also in la, giant sinkhole. Just like Holly would just go into a giant sinkhole. That can happen. So I've met Angie. We've had dinner. She's lovely. We've hung out. So this is sad, but also, hopefully a new beginning. It's a great storyline to be going through divorce. It's a great way of. Another storyline of when you start dating. It's. They do have a child. I believe she's like, around, like, 14 or 15 now. That's going to be really hard. She's an only child. I think that's even. Could be even harder that you don't have a sibling that you can turn to and go, oh, these two crazy assholes. Thank God they're fucking getting divorced. We hate them. I don't know. So. And then, of course, it's all on tv, so it'll be interesting. They've been currently filming this whole time. So will we see when the show starts to air? Will we see them having issues or sharing about things? Are there fights? Is there moments like that with Bronwyn on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City? You know, they were already having issues. Somebody caught him sending or looking at nudes of somebody on his phone while on a plane. Do you imagine you see a real housewife's husband's on plane and then you lean over and see that he's like texting and, and sending nudes or something or looking at nudes of another woman while texting. And then you like DM that real housewife who you're a fan of. And like hate to break it to you, but your husband literally on a plane, like where you can like read someone's text. Crazy. So Bronwyn is doing amazing though. Her castmate, she's been dating this guy for a while. He's like a 36 year old model. She's getting divorced. She is the winner and nobody liked her husband. Now Sean seemed always really nice and respectful. So hopefully this marriage can stay nice and respectful. This divorce, I mean, because over in Beverly Hills, the divorce is not going so well. It's not Beverly Hills, the real house of Beverly Hills. It's Encino. PK is really letting this get out there. It's another exclusive from TMZ where PK has called out Dorit over the child's passports fiasco. Last time we discussed it, he was put it out there and asked the judge, could I have the sole responsibility of selling this Encino house that we cannot afford anymore. Can we not push off this sale anymore? We need to sell it so it doesn't go in foreclosure because if we sell it privately now, there'll still be some profit that we can split. But if it keeps going, it's going to go into foreclosure and we're going to be screwed. And she keeps putting off the sale because she was traveling in Europe for her birthday where he said she, you know, wasn't with the children. The children didn't know where she was. Yeah, right. They were in Florida with her parents.
B
Who.
A
Well, he said that he has asked the court, letting the court know that he had asked Dorit to make sure that the kids passports were up to date because he is English and he wants to take the kids to England when it's his time later in the summer and he just found out they are both expired. So now he cannot travel to Europe without with the kids. So he's furious. His story is that it was her responsibility and that she knew she had to take care of this. I'm guessing renewing someone's passport to someone like Dorit is a big pain in the ass. And was it done on purpose? I don't know. But she certainly knows how to update a passport. She said she was a child of. How did she say it? She was like, I was a worldwide traveler. I was a child of the world or something. I traveled so much I speak four languages. She of all people would know to check the kids passports. So I believe even though it's a little bit of a pain in the ass, she knows how to do it. Being a world traveler, it's something that she'd be checking. But because she didn't have any international plans with her kids, maybe she did let it expire. And you know what? This is what happens when divorces get ugly. And Dorit even said to Kyle, like, really, Kyle? You're going to say that about how much money I should be spending at Love Shack? I certainly can spend $4,000 on dresses. And it's none of your business. And I really hope that you and Mauricio, I hope that your divorce stays nice forever because mine certainly hasn't and it has not. You know, and I think sometimes things start out nice and then they don't. And then you're like, oh, fuck you for not paying that mortgage and making me move out of Encino. All your plans with your family and your relatives involving the kids, Guess what? I didn't renew the passports. Whoops, sorry. I was too stressed trying to pay the mortgage that you didn't pay. Sorry. Speaking of which, Mauricio was seen making out with a very attractive young girl, appeared in a bikini somewhere in Europe, just, just kissing on like a little dock thing. And so he's having the time of his life. They're still not divorced. He's doing special forces with Alexia. They're gonna go do that show together. He's sick of doing real estate. He's like, let me be a star, let me make out with these girls. It's all good. He's not taking listings. He's the face of the agency. He's set up this thing perfectly. The fame of being married to Kyle and being on the Housewives got him this real estate thing that's going on and they're still not divorced, but Kyle has been sober four years and she celebrated that. Taylor, Frankie, Paul over at Secret Lives of Born Wives. Her whole situation with her kids is just horrible. And every she's posting several times a day, people report on it. She has a huge following and the discussion is, should she not share this with her? Fighting with her two baby daddies. And now there's a CPS or whatever the name is for cps, Child Protective Services. There was a report on that that said that they were disturbed that her eight year old daughter was changing the two year old's diaper and that it shouldn't be on the 8 year old to do that. I disagree. I think kids that age can help with their siblings. It's not like she's left alone with the child for eight hours. You know, it's just like, sure, she could change a diaper, I don't know. So Taylor felt she had to come on and explain that that is not something that happens all the time, that the 8 year old wants to help. And it's just so gross that we know that there was a CPS report made and that we know all this and it's just like, I get it. She's like, I am going to respond. I feel that I have this platform and I'm going to share this journey of fighting with these, with my exes about my kids and all that's going on with me and my mental health and exchanges and all of this. I'm going to share it all in this journey so that I can help others. And I feel, I definitely think you should tell your story. I think it would be healthier for you and the kids if you did all these videos and you journaled it or filmed it or whatever. Or you know what she should do? Oh my God, she should go offline right now and she should record all of this, film it and podcast it with a podcast mic in case she doesn't want to use the film and just do a podcast and do dates and times and what she's feeling and what just happened and do it all herself and don't put it out in real time. That's what I think she should do because then she can edit it, she can decide what she wants to share what she doesn't, if she wants to really actually write a best selling book that we don't know the truth because we haven't seen it all happen online and therefore we don't need to buy the book or we don't need to listen to the podcast. I understand she makes a lot of money off of social media, but I just think if she just didn't post it, you know, maybe after each day before she went to bed, she journaled or talked into a podcast bank. And then those times that she is with her kids or those times when she's not with her kids, she is not overwhelmed with it. You know, she's taking care of herself, she's working on other things. She can still tell her side. I just don't know that we have to hear her side while it's happening. I don't think that's the best situation for her or her kids. And that's Just my personal opinion. I don't need to report on this anymore. Season 20 of Real Houses of OC came out and I was inspired to do a very well received, funny video. So please go to my Instagram, go to my TikTok. It's I. It's the Shadow Bedor school of acting. Because I feel it's a lot of acting, it's a lot of goofy, whoa, pratfalls. They go to this bungee jumping exercise class. Shanna Bedor does. Listen, maybe the producers did it knowing that they'd get a laugh. I think she upped it a little because it's like this weird. You know what it looks like? It doesn't look like you're getting. It looks fun. It doesn't look like you're getting a ton of exercise out of it, but it looks like a fun time. And so we had to see that. And then we had to see them all dress up like old ladies to celebrate Emily's birthday at a drag bingo. And this is an awful idea. I was talking to some younger girls and it was her friend's 40th, and they were like, yeah, we're all going to dress up like old ladies and go to this club out in Westlake. I'm like, why? Why? I'll dress like old ladies. No one looks good in it. It's awful and it's not funny. And we don't need to see it. It's a stupid schtick. We don't want to see dress up stuff. And they are old ladies. I mean, two of them are well into their 60s, you know, and it just. Just was weird. And I don't even. There is no storyline. There's nothing even to discuss. It was like, Jen is basically poking at Heather to be like, remember, Heather? Remember when you said you were annoyed with Tamara, you know, four months ago? Remember that? Remember when you said that? And she's like, what? No, I'm not gonna fuck with Tamara. The woman scares the shit out of me. I'm gonna stay her friend until I'm not on the show anymore and I don't have to see her face. That is what she's thinking of. That's what Heather debrow is saying when she's like, excuse me, Jen. Excuse me. You asked me over and over what I was saying about Tamara. Tamara and I are historical friends. Sometimes I don't love everything she says, but I can still call her the next day when we have to film, and we can certainly get along. Oh, and the other thing that was interesting that Brandi Howard said to me when we were hanging out this weekend is she said, remember when Heather says, oh, why does your hair look like that or something? To Tamara? And Tamara goes, oh, Eddie and I were paddleboarding, and they show this tiny clip. Less than three seconds of the two of them paddleboarding, and she's getting hit by a wave. This is February in the OC it's cold, so it might be sunny out, but it's cold. So she has to wear a full wetsuit and she has to paddleboard. And then Heather Dubrow goes, yeah, I'm done with the. With the daredevil stuff. I'm over that. We don't need to do that anymore. And we thought that was a sign. To the producers of, like, you're not going to make me jump out of a plane, paddleboard, go horseback riding, do a stripper pole, take a bungee class. I'm not doing any physical shit anymore. I'll dress up like an old lady and go to a drag brunch, but I don't. I would rather just have a beautiful dinner, have a $75,000 party that we paid for, not Terry's dead brother from Quiet Riot, and have a good time.
B

Thank you for coming on everywhere. Thank you.
B
Europe, they're Asia, they're Australia, obviously, but all over. They are everywhere.
A
Love that you just had your third child with your second husband. It's very Hollywood of you.
B
I love it.
A
Your baby is so cute. Your baby looks like the husband.
B
He, he, he does. And I, I look at his help and I free that he may lose the privilege to say chink. You know, I don't think he can say it. There's no way he can say it. He got crucified. He's a white man. He's like open world white. He's not just like a regular white guy. He's like Ohio white. My son is like, well, he has
A
like a mature man name too.
B
I can't say it. It's Arthur. I see it. I say author. My daughter's like, it's not author, it's Arthur. She's correcting me. I'm like, whatever. He's here.
A
What is home base now for you?
B
So Austin, Texas is home base. Okay. I kept, I, I, I sold my house in Arcadia. I bought a condo in Hollywood, West Hollywood. So I can just live in West Hollywood where I come here for a week. But I, I miss la. I realized that we are paying for the weather here. The weather is worth every penny here. Yeah, you can love or hit la, but there's no weather like LA weather.
A
I know. It is so great like this and it's, it's been actually really nice. You gotta avoid that sinkhole, though. That happened.
B
Oh, this is in West Hollywood, right? I think I missed. It was the last week.
A
Yeah.
B
What happened?
A
I don't know. I don't live in la. So I just see it and just go, oh, God. Thank God.
B
Where's your home base?
A
It's in Thousand Oaks in a place called Sherwood. Yeah, it's like, it's out. We moved out that way, so it's. Everything's a little further. But now let me just get into how. How is your mother accepting the new husband, the new baby? What's going on with your mom? Because she is like a tiger mom. Yeah, right. Which is the definition of tiger mom is pretty critical.
B
Yeah, she's very tough. It's been really hard. She was not approved of him because she just feel like I should be focusing on my career after my divorce. I am not good with men because I. I talk back and she's like, if you talk back, she'll stay single. Just talk back. You know, you stay single after I. My divorce and she came to take care of the two kids and I met my husband and she just think I should just not get married. I should not have any kids. I mean, she just feel like if I have a kid, it's gonna age me for five years, I'll expire. She just sick woman. Like, she's like, you gotta be selfish, you know, you gotta just not get married anymore.
A
So would she critical that you got pregnant before you were married?
B
Yes. She's very mad and she's like, you are ruining your life. I said, that's all. It's already ruins like, yeah, it's getting worse now. And she said, he's gonna leave you because you are turning 40. I said, I'm 34. She goes, you're 35. 35 is 40, you know, 34 is 30. I just. You are 40. And he's gonna, he's. It's not gonna work.
A
You're only 34 though, right now?
B
No, I'm 36. It was two years ago.
A
To her, you're still. She's reminding is coming.
B
Yeah, 40 is here. And she said that he's. I don't think he loves you because he's young. I said, he's one year younger. He's like, if a man is one year younger than a woman, it's actually. He's actually 20 years younger than you. It's different. Different, you know, like you can't remember.
A
Is she with your dad?
B
No, they are still together. They. They. He's drunk, so I'm happy for him. You know, I understand why he drink now because why was growing up. I feel like he's lazy and drunk now. I understand that you have to be Drunk to survive around her because she's a problem. You know, women are over the problem. You work and you take care of the kids and you're a. You make your husband drink. You know, we do everything, but people still hate us. People just hate women. I. I hate her too. She clean for me, she cook for me. She take for the kids. I hate her. I realized that, oh, my gosh, that's. That's what it's like to be a woman anyway, right? Like, we do everything and people just hate us. Just like, why are you breathing? Like, why. You know, why you still look so beautiful? Or like, why you look fat now. It doesn't matter how you look. You're wrong. You're. Yeah. So basically, she. When she. Then I got pregnant, she was furious.
A
She's like, how did you tell her?
B
I sent her the. The little ultrasound thing.
A
Oh, just out of the blue, you just texted her an ultrasound photo?
B
I just like, oh, my God, Mom, I'm so excited. She just like, can you get an abortion now? Like, she said this to me. She's so Chinese over text. Yeah. She's like, can you get an abortion now?
A
And what did you say?
B
I said, it's a boy. She goes, oh, okay. I'm serious. I came home, she made me dumpling and she hugged me. And she's like, it's gonna be a white man. He's gonna be privileged. I mean, he's half Asian, but, you know, you gotta take what you have. He's gonna be white, so he can just like, do whatever. His life's gonna be easy, so you don't have to worry about him. This is good. It's an easy child. It's an easy one.
A
Oh, my God. How did the older kids. Your. Your kids are 7 and 5. How are they about the. Around the baby?
B
My. My son just being a boy is like, it's a baby. My daughter, she's only five, but she's very mature. She just. She bring the diaper, she likes to clean the milk, and she likes to put a pacifier and clean the pacifier for him. So she's full on big sister duty. She's like, she loves him and she thinks he's adorable and that she is the best big sister. My son just kind of. He's a boy. He's like, oh, there's a boy. He also had penis. Oh, Ha. Like a dumb boy stuff. But you can just see she's two years younger. She's sophisticated. She's. She. She look at him. She smiles. How cute. I love him. And he look at her, in awe of her, amazed by her, just because she's so, so nice to him. And they just have this beautiful bond. Oh, I love that.
A
That's so sweet. Now, for those that don't know, not only are you a stand up comic, but you really went about becoming the comic in such a great way and so smart and so entrepreneurial because it's so hard to get stage time as a comedian, especially in la. They say it's easier in New York and maybe even Chicago. So you have your own comedy club and that's where you were able to really work and hone your craft. And you had an incident that happened that I thought was so terrible but so interesting about these influencers that came for a night of comedy and chose to make not flattering content out of your club. Can you tell us about that?
B
Yeah, I, I think they were not really trying to do stand up. You actually just want to go there and insult the art. Just go there and get on stage, read things on phones and get a reaction. Because they actually reached out. We're booked out. The open mic night. They're booked out. There's only 10, I think eight spots every hour. And they reach out to the manager, she's actually here, Paige, and she said, well, we can't guarantee a spot. You know, if there's no one show up, you can get a spot, but it's not guaranteed. So they went there, there's. There's no spot.
A
And who are these girls? Are they actual triplets?
B
They are not really triplets. They also put in, they are 15, but they are in their 20s. The youngest one is 18, the other ones are 26.
A
So they have a Persona online as 15 year old triplets.
B
Yes.
A
And they're not triplets and they're not 15.
B
No. No.
A
Okay. They are pretty smart to make yourself 15 year old triplets in this gross world.
B
I know.
A
So I know.
B
That's why I should.
A
I mean, Playmate Playboy back in the day was always into twins and triplets and all that. Okay, so go on.
B
I should learn about nine, about my age. They are smart about that. Yeah. Anyway, they just basically they start cursing at a host like a stupid, like
A
while they're on stage or while they're
B
before they got on stage because they're like, oh, it's booked out, you know, blah, blah, cursing and screaming. It was awful. And then they, the host was young and he's like, okay, I just got on stage, you can go on stage. They get on Stage you start basically making fun of everyone and they're reading things off their phone. People don't, don't laugh. And they're like, you guys, the whole room, you know, blah, blah, blah. And people just don't laugh because.
A
Right.
B
It's open mic, you know, nobody care about. You have followers. They have like followers right. Everywhere. Anyway, so they basically, they left the place and they just had a terrible review about it. They talked about.
A
So then they went on the YouTube,
B
they post on YouTube and they did
A
a video about their night bashing the
B
club before the club, during and after. They basically said they wait for three hours, which is a lie. And they said that the host were harassing them, sexually harassing them, which never happened.
A
Wow.
B
One of the audience, one of the open micro on stage is like, wow, those. You are attractive. It's like three girls and one boyfriend. That's normal. It's open mic. It's like, oh, you're attractive, you guys look rich. You know those kind of stuff. Like, oh, they were like sexually harassing us. I'm like, they are not.
A
Someone was on stage.
B
Yeah.
A
Doing crowd work and they were waiting to go up. So they were sitting there and he's like, oh, who are you three attractive ladies. And they called that sexual harassment.
B
Yes. And that person is also like, he just the open mic comedian who signed up to the mic.
A
Right.
B
They, they said this person is my host who works like the staff of the club. And they, they basically made up stories and the fans because they are, you know, those fans. So stupid. And they basically send us thousands of like death threats. Like non stop. Like I got death threats. The ugly, stupid chink. They, they come off our host the N word and you should kill yourself. It's like then they start giving us like negative reviews on Yelp and Google. My review went to like a one point.
A
Wow.
B
It was like 4.5. It went to one. It was so nasty. But thank God it's a Chinese business. You know, if we have bad review means it's authentic. I don't care. But it was very bad that all of like a staff were affected because the death threats, those people are vicious.
A
So did any. I remember you were, you know, doing videos about it and letting people know that this had happened. I of course never had heard of these triplets. But you know, there's so many people that are just famous within a different demographic that you wouldn't know today, you know, so I understand the power they have. So what happened? Did they ever apologize or take it down or anything.
B
No, we.
A
Who are these people again?
B
They are three bitches from Edmonton. You know, you will think Canadian, but
A
is that their name? Three from.
B
No, I wish. I wish they are that funny. But no, they call them like a categorized sisters. I don't even say it. It's like something like a yeast infection, you know. Okay, okay, okay. Anyway, they're just. My dad told me this and the dad would be in the video. I'm like, yeah, he's. All of you guys. Of course. He's like. The dad is like. You know, it's so cringy. It's like a daddy can I do. I'm like, God.
A
But that's not the real dad because they're not real triplets and they're not 15.
B
It's so gross.
A
Okay.
B
Yeah, they. They don't do anything. They're just dumb and this big. I don't know, big red hair. So it looked like a fetish thing, I think. Whatever. So they. It was. They won't take it down. The video. They want me to apologize to them because my staff was. First of all, it's not my staff calling them hot and like advancing on them like a prod. Predator. Predators. I'm like, by the way, like just making up a story is so ugly because it makes a real victim.
A
Nobody's a weird world where like people do that, you know, and they. Or. Or they think that the world is going to be on their side because the checker took too long to check out their items. And they're like, can you believe this? And do this thing? And then. But then depending on how certain people present it. Yeah. They're their quote unquote fans can really come after. It can be so disturbing.
B
Yeah. You know, with the rare reviews about our club being shitty. They've never been to my club and it's very bad for the business. And I. I think the press reached out because they. They want to talk about it because there's a. A chef in San Francisco refused to give an influencer a free meal. And she basically made a video. A negative review about it. And they had to close the restaurant. They lost their business because of the. The review was so low that.
A
That recently happened with.
B
That was a few years ago.
A
But that. Not these triplets. Other people.
B
Yeah, other influencer.
A
Oh my God.
B
So I was lucky. I had a platform.
A
Yeah.
B
Also I was lucky is the. Is a comedy. It's open mic place. You know, people expect. Right.
A
So if you were just an eatery, like just a restaurant and they Believed they had an awful experience and chose to do it. You're right. How could a small restaurant that maybe doesn't even have social media but does have a Yelp review, how would they ever recover from something like this? That is true.
B
It's very sad. They wouldn't be, they wouldn't be able to recover and yeah, just destroy businesses because they had a, didn't get their free VIP treatment. They, they are so entitled to, they have no talents. Those girls. I think they're, I, I, I, they are really sick people and I, I hope them well. Like they, they need it. They need whatever. I, I realized that as a comedian, I can cry about it. I feel bad how they treat my staff, but the best thing I can do is make fun of them. So I just did a roast on them. I, I joked about them, made fun of them, and that was good. That was good for my mental health.
A
Right.
B
Yeah. People are so mad. I, I call them Horus from Edmonton. I don't care. You know, I really don't care anyway.
A
And did they, and did you still get some backlash from their family? You like, put up a video and there's comments in there every day.
B
We still have Google review that's negative still to the day. I don't even look at anymore because it just. Yeah.
A
Why? Why?
B
Yeah.
A
And so you've got some exciting things going on.
B
The short film is Andre 3000, which is, which is crazy because I had no idea he know who I am and he likes my comedy and we became good friends. He brought me Young Andre 3. I mean, he brought me on LeBron's podcast the Shop. So I, that's how I met him for the first time. And then we became very good friends. And I'm very inspired by him as an artist and was amazing to be in his short film seven Piano Sketches for his new piano album. Wow. It was, it's, it's a lot of fun in New York.
A
That's amazing.
B
Thank you.
A
And so tell me what else is going on. What has been, like, how has the standup been going? What you do a lot of crowd work, or at least that's what you show on your.
B
Yeah.
A
In your videos. Because, you know, that's always good. Here. You said, what's your mama think about you being a Malaysian gay? You always talk to the audience and you get a lot of, you know, fun people to go to your thing, you know, different couples and things like that.
B
I love them. So I was just really desperate about to build my social media and it's so difficult. We can't show our materials. Sometimes if it's our new jokes, it belong to a new special. You can't really show it. But how can fans come to see you if they don't see you? So I just. I realized, like, after I do my materials, the last 10 minutes, I'm just gonna talk to the front row. And I start doing that, just asking, what species are you? Because I think it's. We're different species, you know, because racism is. Racism is so stupid. If there's an alien, like, a human has black ones and yellow ones and white ones, they don't think which one is better than which one. They just see us as different species in different. So I just start calling them, what species are you? And then I realized that all my fans, they come to front row, they expect to get roasted. They'll get ready to get roasted. You just look at me like, what you got?
A
So do you ever feel like they. Since you're doing your material and not talking to them till the end, do you think they're kind of like, yeah, they're a little disappointed, like, or, like, wanting to get attention or yelling stuff out or anything?
B
Oh, yeah. For my. Some. Some shows that I kind of just do over time. And I know sometimes the theaters, they are very strict. They just don't let you run over time. They're gonna find you money or anything. I'm Chinese. I'm like, don't take my money. So I would not do any car work. I was just like, bye. They were like, what? What? You're not talking to me? I paid for the front row, you know? Then they didn't say, but they were just like, huh. They are sweet about agents. Don't talk about how disappointed they are. They just don't come anymore. But anyway, they. They actually talk to me after the meeting like, oh, my God, can you roast us now? We are buying a T shirt. I'm like, yes. So it was so cute. The front rows expect that the people in the back know I won't talk to them because I can't really see right who they are to. To roast them. So the front row actually now expect to. To talk to.
A
Has anyone ever been offended by your roasting?
B
Oh, yeah. In one was in Pasadena. The, the. I, I can't say that.
A
The Ice House. I say the ass. Ice House.
B
Ice House. Ice House. One girl, I, I. She was just. She was roasting me.
A
Huh.
B
I was on stage. She, this beautiful Asian girl is an old white man. Like, oh, there's a white man. I know. There's an Asian lady nearby. She's like, hey, that's rude airing your shirt. You know, iron your shirt. Yeah. Because your dress is wrinkling. Oh, you look cheapen. I'm like, I'm sorry, Mom.
A
How old was she?
B
She was probably in her 30s and pretty and little tipsy. But like I said, I'm sorry. You know, she's like, I said, I, I just. I want a green card. That's what I'm talking to a man. She's like, she was so mad. She's like, I'm a single mother. I make my own money. I'm also divorced. I'm like, I know. I would divorce you too. And then she just got more angry. Angry. But you are trying to roast a comedian. Come on.
A
So did she leave half. Did she leave or stay the whole show?
B
She was getting more and more rude, and the security took her out. Please leave. I'm like, okay. I guess she's deported.
A
Yeah.
B
So that was, that was one time. She was my own people. Asian lady is literally just, like, upset with me. But I was just calling her, like, you are so pretty. You have. You know, if I'm hot like you, I would be a too. It was.
A
I'd be a what?
B
A too.
A
A too.
B
Yeah, because I, I, I'm not like, be like, hey, you ugly. You know, it's not funny. So funny is like, sure, she's a pretty girl. I just, I don't offend her in a way that's direct. So she just, like, she's. She didn't hear that in her life. She's like, wait, but you are offending me, but not really offending me. So she just, like, get mind fucked by me.
A
Yeah, that. Okay. You know, I talk about housewives a lot, and they do this thing called she knows how to read you that expression, which is like. And I. Someone showed a clip of. What was her name? Kenya Moore, who used to be on Real Housewife of Atlanta. And it's back when she was on Celebrity Apprentice. Okay. That's how long ago it was. And the clip came up, and it was like, wow, Kenya knows how to do it. And she did this thing where another housewife from a different franchise, Brandi Glanville, was sitting next to her down the Whatever.
B
Oh, no, Brendy.
A
Yeah. So she was like, look, I try to keep it classy. I didn't say that. Her short skirt. Short. Whatever. She said, I'm just making something. Like, I didn't say that. Her Tampon string was showing because her. Her skirt was too short. She has great legs. Her skirt was short. I'm sure she didn't intend to have her tampon string show. I never said that, did I? And it's like, you know, that kind of thing. And of course, now you're saying it and it's on TV and you're saying in front of people. It's. That's kind of the same. I love that thing that you're doing, which is really clever and really funny. Like. Oh, it's a little bit like a. Bless your heart. You know how Southern people go, bless your heart. Yeah, bless her heart. You know, she didn't have the. You know, bless her heart. She's. She's so pretty, but she can't read, so she wouldn't have known what I wrote on that piece of paper. And that is why she misunderstood this whole situation. Bless her heart. Like, whatever it is.
B
That's so. I love that. Housewives. That's so funny. The Housewives. I love when they are.
A
That's not really my, like, forte, but I see it. I'm like, oh, my God, I fucking love it. You know, but. So when doing that. Yeah, that's crazy. Now, does your mom care when you talk about your mom?
B
She. She doesn't care. I remember that she was on my podcast because Pattern Oswald got Covid. I. I think I gave him covet by texting him. Oh. But he came. He did my podcast. Anyway, so I. We got the studio, and he had to cancel because he got not feeling well. And my mother drove me. I was desperate. She drove me. Yeah. Because of my doi. I couldn't drive back then. And I was, you know, student mom. I pay for the studio. What. What do I do? She's like, you pay for it. What do you do? I said, can you be my guest? She said, I don't speak English. I said, I'll translate. So she just sat there and I said, mom, you know, China and America is very different because in America, they love when ladies are tanned. Because when you are tanned, it means that you are fit. You love. You know, vacation means you are wealthy. It just. People love tan skin, and my skin is dark. So in America, I'm actually not ugly. I had to actually explain to her because she laugh when I say I'm not ugly here. And like, in America, I'm actually not ugly because my skin's tan is considered attractive. She's like. She lost. It's like, you're. That's so funny. You're still ugly, you know? You know, your skin's dark. It means you work at a farm. You're poor and ugly. And then I said, my lips is big in America is a good thing. Big lips is. Is sexy. Like Julia, Julia Roberts and Angela Jolie. She's like, no, you have pig lips. You got big, big lips. You know, she's just, like, roasting me. And I just try to keep explaining to her because I know her. She didn't hurt me anymore. But for the audience, I want them to be like, hey, that's actually what she thinks. And, oh, my goodness. I left China probably 16 years ago. China changed. All the girls start to, like, you know what? Try to, like, be more confident. And they. The girls with dark skin before, they're like, yes, I'm ugly now. Like, you know what? There should be diversity in beauty. You know, we should ask curvy girls. A girl with dark skin should also be considered attractive. So they have the movement. So people saw my video. They're like, oh, my God, that's my mom. That's my mom. It just went viral. It went to, like, a billion views on one clip. I end up in China. I did Cosmopolitan and a lot of big magazines, and all the people in China were, like, cursing about, like, what a beast. She's a monster mom. Like, what kind of mother would do that to her daughter? And she was getting bullied online.
A
Your mom was getting bullied?
B
Yeah. I said, mom, I'm sorry. You had. Because she was sending her thing. Even on her personal WeChat, like, her personal Facebook, she getting hate comments.
A
They were able to find her on
B
Facebook, her Chinese WeChat, her Chinese account, like, her Chinese social account.
A
Oh, okay.
B
And I said, mom, I'm sorry. And she's like, oh, oh, don't worry. I'm making you famous. Next time I got your podcast, I slap you. I don't care what they say, as long as it's good for your career. I'm happy. I don't give a. She's like, she's my spirit animal. I now realize that she's cool. Yeah, she's cool. Because life can be. Be hard, and you gotta be a tough bitch in order to.
A
Yeah, she did make you perfect for comedy.
B
Mm, I think so.
A

B
She didn't have time to play because my father was drunk. She had to work all the time so she loves mahjiang. But she did have a mahjong room in our restaurant so people can go there and play and she can make money.
A
Oh really?
B
She take the the fee for being for housing it.
A
How does she feel about it being so popular now with women of all ethnicities and all ages? Like everyone is playing mahjong now.
B
I think everyone is China maxing and drinking hot water. Everybody is want to be Chinese now.
A
China maxing is a great expression.
B
Yeah. Everyone's trying to Maxine. I everyone on social media you want to try maxing. Your mother has to be hit you on the face, be like you're ugly. That's how you really become Chinese.
A
You're right. With a Korean skin care.
B
Oh yeah, yeah. Japanese things always being popular. The anime has always been popular.
A
What about lymphatic massages? Did you guys used to do that?
B
What's the lymphatic?
A
I don't know. It's like everyone just says like you're supposed to like oh yes every day. And then all of a sudden like all, all the lymphatic like I'm like what? So if you do this massage every day then you're just gonna like pee out all your fat.
B
I don't think it works. I think, I think like cursing at your husband, drinking wine helps with beauty. When you feel good, you look better. Yeah, yeah. If you hate someone, you have to make sure they know.
A
So is your dad still a drinker?
B
He didn't drink anymore. It was very cute. Me and my dad never had a connection because he's always drunk. But he read a lot of books. He love reading and he's very smart. He will help with my math homework. And he's always been drunk. I remember that it was probably around the four or five years ago, I was doing projects in China and getting a little popular. And then my father had his high school reunion. And then I. I was giving speech in my high school.
A
In China.
B
In China. And it was a big thing, televised and for. For my city and my. My dad just like, oh, by the way, my daughter is going to come, you know, if you want her to meet your daughter who is inspired to go to America. They're like, wait, your daughter is Jiao Ying? He's like, yeah, they're going to. Come on, there's no way she's your daughter. You are such a drunk loser. And he just felt like he's bringing shame to me. He's like, I feel so guilty. Like I felt like I never was there for your life and now I'm bringing shame to you. So after that I just stopped drinking. And he stopped drinking.
A
He stopped drinking cold turkey.
B
He just stopped.
A
And they just. So just four years ago or whatever he did.
B
Yeah. And because he didn't want to bring shame to me and that made me cry. And we are very close now. He likes me a lot because I say money. But you know, I was talking to
A
somebody recently and I wasn't aware that did work like, you know, a lot of business and stuff in China. And he said, you know what I didn't realize is what heavy drinkers.
B
The close deal. Yeah, you gotta drink to close deals. That's why it's so weird.
A
Had they always been like that or is it a more recent thing? Like the last like decades or. No, it's always been like, it's always like that.
B
We say wuji. If there's no alcohol, it's not a real gathering. And what is there?
A
What is their alcohol of choice?
B
Baijiu is basically soju or like white liquor. Very, very, very like a whiskey, Vodka, very. Not wine. So a lot like a high alcohol. And the thing is, in China, if you drink a lot, you close the deal because deals Are made at a banquet. If you can drink more, you can close the deal. Means that you are more sincere because. And also like in China, if your husband come home, open the door, just vomiting at you at 1:00am you're like, oh my God, my husband works so hard. Close a deal. You know, blow job, hand job, I'm gonna give you a massage. In America, you come home drunk, you sleep on the couch, you have a problem. You're going to AA tomorrow. Like, you have three glass of wine, you have a problem.
A
So they have AA in China?
B
Not really. We don't.
A
What about rehabs and stuff?
B
Not very popular. I don't know how people.
A
They just expect people to kind of quit on their own. Like your dad.
B
Yeah. Or you really get. You drink and you got liver disease and you die from. From that slowly. But people just not taking it seriously because it costs a lot. I have a lot of my. My father's friends, my uncle. I call them uncles. They. They die from liver diseases. Wow. From. From heavy drinking. But they don't think is a big problem.
A
And are. Are the women big drinkers too?
B
Generally women to drink skillfully at banquets, you probably have to drink and try to like you drink. Here, you have your rice ball. You spit like this.
A
For real?
B
Yeah. Like when someone like one come in your mouth, you. You won't make them happy. But you're like, yo, I don't want your coming inside. It's. It's poor, you know, it's like you, you. You put. You are drinking. But you're like, but you want. They want to see. Because in Chinese culture, when someone gave you alcohol, you don't drink. It means you are not sincere. You are sneaky. Because my first husband as a mom, he's a great man. He does not smoke, does not drink, and he does not gamble. She's like. It means he's selfish. He's gonna murder you. There's something wrong with him, why he's not drinking. When someone is like care about their body so much. They are selfish. They're gonna you up. I'm like, okay.
A
That is one way to look at it.
B
Yeah, right? Like this person, I think she turned
A
out to be right.
B
Yeah, she's right.
A
The first husband. Because I remember your story. It was awful.
B
Like American Psycho. Right. They wouldn't do anything harm their body because they want to fucking kill you. Bitch. They'll eat you. Right.
A
Like women.
B
So perfect. No gambling, don't watch porn, workout every day, eat healthy. Must be wrong.
A
You mentioned. And I do Remember this from last time you came on, that you did get a dui?
B
Yes.
A
But nobody was hurt or anything. You just pulled over.
B
No, I killed three trees. Oh. They are very expensive trees. They sell me nine grand for three trees.
A
Oh, really?
B
Yeah, it's insane.
A
What is your relationship with alcohol now?
B
I think my drinking will be binge drinking. Okay. I don't drink every day. I would not drink for three months. I think it is with like the bipolar depression. Sometimes I got into a very bad place or hypomania. I have energy. I feel like I won't sleep for three days. I keep working and working and working and I don't eat. And then, you know, you, you just feel like, oh, I have so much energy. Like I'm, I'm feeling great. Then I'll be drinking and then I feel great. I keep drinking, but I had no food. There's, you know, there's no food in my system. Therefore I would get really drunk without even knowing it. I'll be driving, I'll fall asleep because of. I think I wasn't concerned.
A
That's what happened.
B
Hypomania. Yeah, that what happened to me.
A
Yeah. So have you been diagnosed with bipolar?
B
I, I did, Yes, I did. And I tried lithium and it didn't really work for me because it really make your stinky. It happened like it's.
A
Wait, it makes your smell down there.
B
Oh my God. It's sinister. It's not like, like gross. It's like your mother start talking hell. Like the like.
A
When did you realize that it was affecting your cooch?
B
My coach. I remember that I had. I, I, I, it was actually my husband. I, I started the first husband or the second one. Okay, the Chinese men. The first one, Chinaman. They don't eat. They think it's gay.
A
They do.
B
They don't like, they don't eat the like that's why like for any Chinese woman have never did a man who eat pussy. I'm like, honey, you're missing out because they don't. That's like not eating is like the gayest thing ever. Like, why would you think it's gay to eat? Yeah, the gays like, oh, they are ghost star gays. But anyways crazy. I was, I was dating this my, my now husband and I just like realized he didn't eat my. I'm like, why you don't want eat my. He just won't tell me. I, I just got so angry at him. I'm like, no, I just. Oh my God. I'm like, what Is this. It was so bad. It was so bad. It's. It smells.
A
Have you looked it up? Is that a real thing?
B
I looked up and I asked my. My doctor. They said it doesn't happen to everyone, but it does change your hormone, it changes your ph.
A
Balance.
B
Balance. And it actually happens to some people. So it happened to me and I just felt so bad. Like when I was crazy, I was amazing in bed. Now God made me a nice girl and I. I have stingy kuch. I can. You know, that's why this crazy bitches is getting bad because.
A
Because they're not lithium. Yeah, because they're crazy. They should be on lithium, but they're not.
B
Yeah.
A
So they're crazy, but their cooch still smells nice.
B
Yes.
A
But you tried to get healthy, took the lithium to make you less crazy.
B
Yeah.
A
Gave you a smelly coochie. So how did they find another medication? Or are you just not on anything?
B
I'm not on anything anymore.
A
Because you have a baby to prove it.
B
Yeah. Lithium also make me a little. Like, I just, I just. I'm happy. Like, I'm just like, okay, I'm very mellow and it's just not me.
A
Do you think it affected your, like, jokes and creativity?
B
It definitely affected my creativity, I think, because I just don't get angry at things anymore. Well, I'm angry. I write good jokes. Yeah, because you're invested, you're emotional. You're like, oh, my gosh. But I just, I'm going to be
A
opinionated and I just be wanting to rant about something.
B
Yeah. I was just like, okay. I'm like, who's this bitch? I didn't like her.
A
There is this drug that people talk about called Retta. Have you heard about Retta?
B
It's Retta.
A
Retta's like a new. It is a weight loss, like a Ozempic.
B
Nice.
A
And I'm watching these people give their testimonies, you know, online, and they're like, reta is the greatest thing. You lose weight. You. You also became. Become super focused in, you know, whatever your business is. You. You're cleaning things, you're, you know, doing. But they're noticing that they aren't looking to have fall in love or have sex or they're. And they're not like wanting to be social or anything like that. They're only like. It's like probably if you're like a sex addict and you like to drink too much and you eat too much, it's probably perfect for you for a while because you'll just be focused on, like, cleaning your house, not eating, not drinking, and not being social. But then a certain amount of time goes by. This one guy said he went to a wedding and he just, like, felt nothing. Like, he felt like nothing about the love that was being shared or wanting to pursue that kind of love. And he's like, I think it's because I'm on this drug.
B
That's so interesting.
A
Yeah, I mean, that's why I found your thing. Really. I mean, it's funny, but it's also, like, interesting.
B
It's make you asexual. Make you like, asexual robot.
A
Yeah. Or you're just.
B
Yeah.
A
The dopamine that you would get from having sex with someone that you're attracted to, what makes you fall in love with them is, like, not there.
B
Oh, my gosh.
A
Yeah, it's kind of weird.
B
This would be good for someone with like, who's. Who's. Who's addict.
A
That's what I'm saying. Like if you're a sex addict or a love act or whatever it could
B
be pedophiles need to take that.
A
Maybe.
B
I don't know.
A
But I don't know if it works. I don't know with them. Yeah, I don't know if there's anything that can cure.
B
I hate that.
A
So I want to talk about this. I noticed that Chloe Feynman, she is on snl. She's one of the best impressionist. She does such good celebrity impressions. She's pretty, she's very thin. And according to the New York Post exclusive, she just announced she was leaving NBC's late night sketch show SNL after seven seasons. Which is interesting because the way I always remembered it is that that's kind of the time people leave. I don't know if the contract changes or the contract is good for seven years or you go up to seven years and then it's either you need to sign another five or something. So then people leave around seven. But they said while she. She's 37, formed close friendships with some co stars. She didn't necessarily mesh with everybody. Chloe could rub people the wrong way at times. Well, who the fuck doesn't?
B
Yeah. But
A
you know, I did not realize and probably other people didn't realize, she is like a scientist. She is a Scientologist. And I don't really think that matters. I think the people that I've known throughout the years that were Scientologists in, in entertainment, they kind of like keep that separate. Like, they're not like trying to like recruit you when they're at her level, like, but. But she's also probably still a part of it because they also are so in it. And now I don't know if she is like a second or third generation Scientologist or what. But when it comes to entertainment, it's such a weird religion in that they like, they, the people feel like their success is sort of dependent on all these different weird things that they do within the religion.
B
Mm.
A
So they don't really ever try to leave it. And also they know all their. Your secrets and all this.
B
It's so interesting. I'm just curious because I know that Scientology, sometimes they would offer free acting classes.
A
Yes.
B
You know, and sometimes it'll be very easy for someone who moved to la, cannot afford acting classes. And you, you, you meet Danny Davido. You know me acting like what, you know, you just like, I sign me up. But when you are very successful and super smart doing those shows, at which point you join when you are rich and successful, I feel like it will be easier for someone join when they are broke and hopeless and just like, oh my gosh, this is amazing. Free classes. I got me celebrities.
A
I believe that anybody that they're getting any new people, like, there's been like so many exposes and stuff on it.
B
Yeah.
A
I'm like, who is. I could see how some people felt into it five years ago, 10 years ago, 30 years ago, you know, trying to make it in Hollywood and walking in and getting the free class and all of that. But you're right, like, no. Who's joining now? And. But I mean, I can also see why she's, why she's leaving snl because like, if you stay, some people want to stay there forever. Like, what's the one guy Keenan, he's been there forever. But most people, it feels like,
B
you
A
know, I'm sure she met with her team and everything of like when you need to make the leap so that you can go and do something else. But of course there's also that risk that you won't do anything else. But she is, she is such a huge Instagram and TikTok following too, because she'll just, she'll just come up with characters and do them.
B
Yeah. She's so pretty and she's really talented. I think she, she, she's gonna do well.
A
Oh yeah. She will do perfectly fine. Did you ever have a desire to do that kind of comedy?
B
I. I can barely speak English. I can barely sound like myself. I don't know. How do I. I'm just. I have so much respect and mayor people who do impression. It's such a gift. So talented. But I can write. Like, I can write a whole script. I, I read poetry and I wrote novels in China. So I can write a lot of things. Create things that. With my pen and my imagination. But I, my, my body as a vessel. I just, I can't do impression. And I just love my friends do impression. I just hunt them down. When I have. I'm around Matt friend or my friend Godfrey. I just keep begging them, please stay like this. Talk like Trump talk like this. It just is amazing. So I, I really think she's gonna do very well, but. Oh yeah, yeah. But I think you're, you're very funny. Like someone's like she dropped people the wrong way. Who doesn't like. Yeah, yeah. It's just like, it's not even like they want to try to make her sound like she's difficult, but they don't have any, don't have any evidence that
A
seems like, yeah, somebody was just trying. It's exclusive. Like, this is like.
B
What?
A
Exclusive to what? Not everybody liked you. Not. You know, you got along with some of your co stars, but not every single guest star that came on. Not every person at craft services. Like so stupid. Like, I'm sure she was fine.
B
Yeah.
A
Um, now you said you were. You're working on your own. Do you have a sitcom coming out? What do you have?
B
Well, in development, I'm working on a TV show that is inspired by my life is. And then I have a movie I've been working on for years. It was, it was based on my real life experience in Kentucky at a haunted Kentucky ranch.
A
When were you in Kentucky?
B
When I went there. 2000, 2009. I got to Kentucky for four years.
A
Before you had kids?
B
Before I came to LA. Before I got.
A
That's right. When you went to college there, right? Yes, okay, I remember that. And you lived on a haunted ranch.
B
Yeah, there, there. There's a lady that they need to hire someone basically do a in house assistance. It was on Craig list and I couldn't find a real job because I didn't have a green card. I was, I was. I found that job and they need this assistant to drive them around and stuff. They hire me to driving around because the lady was blind. You know, I was Asian.
A
She told me how you were just like her personal assistant that drove her and did everything. Yeah. While you're going to college.
B
Yeah, she. Okay. She told me how to drink. I'll be Driving her. She'll be having the box wines.
A
Okay.
B
You gotta have some. This is the grape juice.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. I just. I'm like. This is. Tastes like a piss. Yeah. Oh, it's. It's good for you. So I started drinking because I was driving her. I'll be like a. Drinking. She'll be holding the. The box juice. I'll be drinking. She hold one for me, one for herself. She was. She was a Wyatt. Wow. Like, she was a riot. She was a sweet, funny lady.
A
Yeah. Yeah. So what. So what. How is this. How was it haunted?
B
Yeah, it was just.
A
I. I lived at this ranch.
B
I wasn't living there. And then she offered me something. She said, listen, you can live in an attic. I didn't know attic is bad because I'm not American. Yeah, in the attic, you know, you can live there. I was like, I can save my money because I just got a car. I spent like a 500 on this car. Yeah, my first car. I have a car now. I'm a real. Like, I used to have a bike, so I can really live a real life. I said, okay, I can save money from my rent. I moved in there. It was. I. I don't. I don't see any ghost. I. I'm not delusional, but it's off. Like, it feels. I was in the attic. I just hear door knock. I just. When I hear that, I laugh. I'm like, okay. And then nobody. It just is.
A
Really. Yeah.
B
And then.
A
So you're living in the room?
B
Yeah.
A
And was the first night. And was the attic like. Like, not high ceilings? As you're an addict. Was it like a pitched roof, like. And just a little bed there?
B
Yeah, little bed there. And I just hear door knock. And I just. I'm like, what is it? And steps. And there's nobody live there. Just her. And.
A
And you open the door. No one's there.
B
No one's there. And then I. I went downstairs. I said, I also, like, my. My computer fell from bed. It was sitting there. It just fell. And then the things fell from the bookshelf. I mean, like, I asked, like, what. What is it? Someone else comes to visit. She said, oh, it's Bitsy.
A
Who's Bitsy?
B
Oh, she died in the attic.
A
How old was she when she died?
B
I asked her. She's like, oh, I don't know. She's a. She's the. The mother of the owners of the house. I bought from them. She's nice bit.
A
So Bitsy's been around for a long Time. But she, she said she's nice.
B
Yeah, busy's nice.
A
Well then why is she trying to break your computer and throw around?
B
I'm like, what does busy want? She goes, she's nice. I don't think she likes Chinese.
A
No way.
B
She said that. She's so funny. She's, she's so funny. She's like, I'm sorry, but I don't think she's a bad lady. She just never see you people. She's afraid of you.
A
Now you're supposed to worry about the ghost being prejudice and discriminatory.
B
Yeah, it was so funny.
A
And so how long did you live there with Bitsy the ghost?
B
Three nights. And I couldn't, I just keep going on. It's just there's like a Keep you up at night. Yeah, just the not.
A
But did it make you less afraid because she was so not weirded out by it.
B
I wasn't afraid.
A
Did it make you less afraid that it was just a racist old female versus being a man? Because I would always think about a ghost. I just think I would know. I would immediately think like an old scary man. Not.
B
Oh, scary. Oh, scary man's worse than scary woman.
A
Yeah, like a man. I just would have thought, yeah, scary.
B
I, I wasn't very afraid because I'm Chinese. I'm saving almost 900 in rent. That's I can, whatever she can. Yeah, she can spend.
A
But after three days you had to leave.
B
I couldn't. I just, I remember that it's getting really like the sound is like really loud, like footsteps going upstairs. I hear that. I, I, I, I just want to laugh because am I crazy? Am I crazy? Because I know I'm crazy. So I'm afraid that maybe I'm being crazy because I've been guest led my whole life, you know, by my mom. And I, I, I open the doors. Nothing. So I just started like. I just thought like, okay, I think I should go out and check what's going on. I walk outside. It's snowing. It's around Christmas. There's nothing. My car is outside the driveway. There's nothing. I went down, upstairs again. There's a footsteps right there. Over and over. I just kept going down and up. And I call my mom. I think something's wrong here. I hear steps and stuff. She's like, there's a ghost there. I think, I think you should leave. She said, you don't want to mess with ghosts. And I want to leave. I remember, I just, it get when I want to leave, it just get more violent.
A
Did you believe that ghosts existed before this?
B
I see things like my grandmother. Is she believing ghosts? And I see her getting possessed by ghosts, but again, I didn't see ghosts coming in. She talked like someone who's already dead. Like an impressionist. She's the best impressionist.
A
Your grandmother possessed by ghosts.
B
Yes, But I. I didn't know. She's just good at impression or she's actually there's. Because I don't see ghostly come, like, you know, I just don't see it. And she. She would talk like the lady, her. Her neighbor who had a tongue cancer. She. Oh, she talk like this. She sound just like her. I'm like, oh, my God, Mom. Like, oh, your grandma's possessed by this lady? I just laugh. I'm like, oh, my God, My grandma's so funny. She can talk like this, that lady just like her.
A
Oh, my God. I. You know, I did Celebrity Ghost story. Oh, many years ago.
B
I love that. I just love ghost stories because there's something we don't know. We can't just say it's not real.
A
Because I had a weird experience in a hotel room.
B
I love that.
A
And then when I was in the airport after leaving that hotel, I got the call saying, do you have a ghost story? And I just thought that was a sign. So then I said, well, maybe this was a ghost.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
And then I had to kind of embellish the ghost story to get on the TV show. But, I mean, they told me how much they were paying me $6,000 to do the show for, like, three hours of work. So I was like, yeah, yeah, I have a ghost story.
B
Was a ghost. Yes, because why would you call me in the airport right after. Yes, because, you know.
A
And so, yeah, so I did that. This was on any celebrity ghost stories. And I mean, so many celebrities had a ghost story. Clearly, we weren't all. We didn't all really have a ghost story, but we all really needed $6,000. So, yeah, anyway, I kind of. My ghost story was. I. I felt. I. I did feel it was the weirdest kind of dream I ever had where I was in this hotel room and I felt like a man was in the bed with me and kind of on top of me. And I remember, like, feeling, like, a man's hairy arm. And I didn't feel like anything like, inserting inside me. It wasn't like I was, like, raped by the ghost, but it was something weird. And I just remember, like, waking up in the morning and going, but I felt like I was awake during that time, but it was like, I just was like, oh, that must have been a really weird dream. And then when I had to do my story, we kind of had to add some things. So it was like, oh, the air conditioning was hot and cold all the time. But it really wasn't. Also, I kept misplacing a lip liner that weekend. So then I was like, well, does this man. Is this man kind of like into cross dressing? I don't know. But we added that to the story.
B
That's amazing. Oh, my gosh. It could also be Rosemary's Baby. But he didn't. Because he was on the red drug. He can't get his dick hard. You know, he's like, he's trying to like give you a demon baby, but he's like, fuck, I'm hot now, but like drugs, like, my dick's not hard. Yeah.
A
Remember, do you dream, do you have weird dreams?
B
Oh, I have very similar, Similar dream. I would think it was in Kentucky.
A
Yeah.
B
I got in this new apartment. It was a duplex, very old duplex. I, I was laying in bed. I can't move. It was night. And this man with fedora hat, he just walked right next to my bedside and just staring at me and got closer and closer and closer to my face. I can't move. I can look at him. I can see.
A
But that was a dream.
B
It should be a dream.
A
Because you think it was a dream or you think it was a ghost?
B
I think it is a dream. You know when, when you, you have a nightmare.
A
Yeah.
B
Terror. So I, I just, I, I can see, I see him. I just can't move. Until I woke up. I got up like, oh, my God.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. But again, maybe, maybe I was a week. Maybe that was a ghost. But I, I didn't touch it. You know, I don't have evidence after. I wish I filmed it. But again, you, you can't see ghosts. But it feels so real, though.
A
Like, is your. I'm going to switch subject a little before we wrap up. Is your show that you're working on, would it be like in front of a live audience or do you think it'll be more like a filmed. Single camera?
B
I think is a film single camera. Oh, yes.
A
Cool. And it's about your life here, your kids and.
B
Yes.
A
Awesome. Well, I can't wait to see it. And you have a bunch of dates. I want everybody. This one was just one that I popped up. That's coming in September. But I know you have international dates and everything. Where can everyone find you?
B
It's jellying comedy.com and social media, jogging summers everywhere.
A
And you post a lot. You're so funny and your shows are great. And you have a stand up special.
B
Yes. Called what species are you on Hulu and Disney plus.
A
Then this tour is called the pony. What's it called?
B
Lucky Pony Tour.
A
The Lucky Pony Tour.
B
The year is a horse is this year. And then my baby is a horse. He's a little pony. Oh, my new baby. So I think a lucky pony because he's my lucky pony.
A
Yes.
B
He had a horse is a good sign. Horse is good. Yes, I must.
A
You're a snake.
B
What are you?
A
I don't know. Do I tell you the date and you'll tell me?
B
I just needed the year.
A
The year is 1970.
B
It's dog. Oh, dog is good.
A
It is good. What's bad? That's awful. That all. I mean, what does that. That can't be. That means an entire everybody born in one year is a bad person or a good person.
B
Yeah, it depends on the person. I think dog is like a loyalty Lucky. Yeah, yeah, Lucky.
A
Oh.
B
Like it means money. Because we say one time, one time a dog represents money.
A
And then what snake represent which is you?
B
Creativity, beauty, but vengeance. Oh, like you have your bad part of it, you know?
A
Okay.
B
Like every sign has like a. Like a dog is too kind.
A
And what's the best? Is dragon the best? I feel like, oh, really?
B
Dragon. Everything has a good and a bad. Even pig. Pig would be some Pigs are like a rat. My daughter's a rat.
A
My friend was just bit by a pig.
B
Pig can bite people. So they are vegans.
A
They're not vegans at all. No. We went to this beach where the pigs roam in Bahamas and my friend and her husband, she wanted to feed them all this food. They said, don't, don't feed them. But she wanted to because she thinks she's like, you know, helping the pigs. And he had all this chicken and this one big ugly pig just bit his leg. I was not into the pigs at all.
B
No, they're ugly.
A
I was. They were not cute.
B
No.
A
I was like, there's. I swam onto the shore where the pigs were because she said, just swim from the big boat. And I'm like, there's shit in this. They're shitting. They're pigs. Yeah, it was so it's not. Nobody do the pig beach thing. I really. It's not cute. It's not cute. And they live there and they be. They will.
B
They don't deserve to live on the beach. No.
A
Well, I'm so excited for everything that you're doing and I'm so glad you came back.
B
Thank you so much.
A
Thank you.
B

In this lively episode, Heather McDonald delves into major Real Housewives news and pop culture drama before welcoming returning comedian Jiaoying Summers. Together, they unpack everything from celebrity splits and influencer scandals, to cross-cultural parenting stories, the art of stand-up, and ghostly encounters. The discussion is heartfelt, hilarious, and unfiltered—filled with insider anecdotes, real talk on marriage and fame, and the unique perspective of being a female comic and immigrant mom in today’s America.
Heather breaks the news: Angie Katsanevas of RHOSLC and husband Sean have separated after 27 years. Rumors swirl about infidelity with a salon stylist, but nothing is confirmed beyond the official split.
The “Housewives Divorce Effect”: Heather notes that being on reality TV often amplifies marital cracks and speeds up inevitable breakups.
“I don’t think you get divorced because of the show, but it speeds up something that’s already broken. It certainly doesn’t heal it... like a giant sinkhole!” — Heather (06:10)
On fame and family: Reality fame impacts family life, especially for couples like Angie and Sean with a teen daughter, making any instability even more public and painful.
RHOBH & Passport Fiasco: PK and Dorit’s messy divorce is dissected, including feuds over selling their house and issues with expired passports for their kids.
Mauricio's European PDA: Mauricio (Kyle’s ex) is seen making out with a young woman; the divorce saga continues.
Social Media & Family Battles: Discussion of TikTok star Taylor Frankie Paul’s public custody and CPS battles, with Heather advising caution about oversharing real-time family drama online.
“I think it would be healthier for you and the kids if you did all these videos and you journaled it... and don’t put it out in real time.” — Heather on Taylor Frankie Paul (14:56)
Real Housewives of OC Recap: Heather pokes fun at the show’s staged antics, including dress-up parties and forced “daredevil” scenes.
Note on Reality TV Acting:
“It’s a lot of acting, a lot of goofy, whoa, pratfalls... I think she upped it a little, because it’s like... does not look like you are getting a ton of exercise, but it looks like a fun time.” — Heather on RHOC (17:20)
Hollywood-style blended family: Now a mother of three with her second husband (“very Hollywood”).
On her mother’s harshness: Jiaoying describes her “tiger mom” and the endless criticism about age, marriage, and kids.
“You are ruining your life... He’s going to leave you because you are turning 40!” — Jiaoying’s mom (28:08)
Cultural differences in parenting: Hilarious contrasts between Eastern and Western attitudes on beauty, success, and marital roles.
Owning her own club: Jiaoying discusses founding a comedy club to create stage time after struggling to break in through traditional channels (“It’s so hard to get stage time as a comedian, especially in LA.”).
Influencer drama: Viral incident where pseudo-influencer “triplets” tried to manufacture drama and torpedo her club online, leading to waves of negative reviews and even threats.
“I got death threats... ugly, stupid chink. It was so nasty. Reviews went to, like, 1.0. But thank God, it’s a Chinese business—if we have bad reviews, it means it’s authentic!” — Jiaoying (35:22)
Online mobs & cancel culture: Both discuss the struggle of small businesses in the face of influencer-driven negative campaigns.
On being bipolar, lithium, and side effects:
“I tried lithium… it makes your coochie stink.” — Jiaoying (58:10)
Crowd work and cancel culture: Jiaoying recounts handling tough audience members and the series of events that occur when roasting goes awry.
On cross-cultural drinking norms:
“In China, if your husband comes home vomiting at you at 1am, you’re like, ‘Oh my god, my husband works so hard! Close a deal!’” — Jiaoying (54:36)
On the hard truth of being a woman:
“Women do everything, but people still hate us. I hate her. She cleans for me, she cooks for me, she takes care of the kids—I hate her. That’s what it’s like to be a woman.” — Jiaoying (29:28)
On generational beauty standards:
“In America, I’m actually not ugly because my skin’s tan is considered attractive. She laughs: ‘You’re still ugly!’” — Jiaoying on her mom (46:26)
“It speeds up something that’s already broken… doesn’t heal it. Like, if there was a crack, it makes the crack bigger, and then the crack spreads apart and everything falls in like a giant sinkhole.”
— Heather (06:10)
“They won’t take it down. The video. They want me to apologize… making up a story is so ugly because it makes a real victim—nobody.”
— Jiaoying (37:11)
“We do everything and people just hate us. Just like, why are you breathing? You know, why you still look so beautiful, or why you look fat now—doesn’t matter, you’re wrong.”
— Jiaoying (29:28)
“I tried lithium and it didn’t really work for me because it really make your stinky [down there]. It changes your PH balance… When I was crazy, I was amazing in bed. Now God made me a nice girl and I have stinky cooch.”
— Jiaoying (58:21)
This episode is a classic “Juicy Scoop”: sharp, irreverent, honest, and packed with both celebrity drama and meaty personal stories. Jiaoying’s humor, resilience, and fresh perspective keep things rolling, while Heather’s pop culture savvy and candor ground even the wildest anecdotes in relatable, insightful commentary.
