What's up, everybody? And welcome back to another episode of the Julian Dory podcast. I am Julian Dorey. And I'm Joey Deef. How you doing? How you done now, Deef? Before we get to my very traumatic experience almost getting my door busted down and arrested today, I do feel like we need to put this out to get ahead of the curve, pun intended. But we're not doing this again. I just want to say that we are not doing this again. I don't want to hear nothing about no viruses, no two weeks to stop the fucking spread. We're not doing this. We'll. We'll talk about what they're talking about on this cruise ship today and give you all the information as we always do. But, like, things are looking bright. I'm not going there. I don't know about you, Joey Dee. Yeah, yeah, you know, I mean. I mean, I don't know. I don't know what to think. Time will only tell. Time will only tell. I know what you think off camera, pal. But anyway, we'll leave that there, but, yeah, you just missed it today. De. It was like 20 minutes before you got here. I'm on the phone with our boy Nate doing a little biz, and I hear at the door, like, you know the full. Yeah, half fist on there, not the nice. Like it was. It was a full, like three bang, perfectly iambic pentameter. You're like, oh, yeah. I'm like, all right, I'm have to. I'm have to hate back. So. So I go to the door, I open it up, and There is a 6 foot 5 cop who looked like he just got out of jiu Jitsu and just put on the uniform, looking at me in a very menacing way. And he goes, julian Dorey. And I just go like this. I'm like, all right, what I do? He's like, no, no, I'm not arresting you. And he's like, I was. I was told to deliver this to you. He hands me an envelope and it's like, thick, and I'm feeling it, and I'm like, am I in trouble? Like, do I need a lawyer. And he's like, no, you'll be okay. He was real dramatic about it, which I didn't appreciate. And as you do, dude, with your surprises and this and that. All right, Don't. He got you at your own game and you don't like it. Don't turn it around on me. Those are nice surprises. When I say we're going somewhere around the world for business purposes, and I don't tell you where it is, that's a nice surprise. Well, you could argue this is a nice surprise, Jim. Just. Just saying it ended up being that way. But the delivery was not very welcoming. And so I'm like, I'm. I'm like opening it up. Like, holy. Like, you know, am I calling a lawyer after this? Is this a summons? And I'm. I'm looking at him going, what is this? And he smiled. Then he smiles and he goes, it's from. And I'll. I'll leave the name redacted. And I was like, oh, yeah, so. And so he's like, yeah, on him to be delivered to you. Have a great day. Walks away. And I'll just say this. It was a very nice note from a fan of the show who I don't think would want to be named, who is a longtime law enforcement guy in the area. We'll put it that way. And I appreciate what you offered Thief and I in there, and I'm sure we'll talk this week. But I did not get arrested. I remain crystal clear, not in jail. So I'm innocent of any pending charges, if. If there are any. I don't think there are, but that's a little scary. I was like, it's a. It's a tough way to end the week, you know? Yeah, yeah. Any. Anytime a cop, you know, is in my. Is in my vision, you know, you get. Yeah, you're like, come on. All right. What I know. Hey, guys, if you're not following me on Spotify, please hit that follow button and leave a five star review. They're both a huge, huge help. Thank you. Anyway, getting back to more important things, we are going to discuss more Epstein stories that went under. I can't talk today. More Epstein stories that went under the radar this week, including our longtime, dear friend Howard Lutnick, who kind of began this whole pivot of. Of the show on the weekends, you know, with. With his nice little lie on camera and. And his obfuscation of his longtime friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. So we will discuss that. John Kerry has also entered the Chat. Don't know if you saw that deep. No, I didn't. Yeah, Tara, pal. Mary was digging through some things on that. Tara's obviously dug into the Epstein case for years now, but as far as I know, hadn't pulled on this thread before. So we will go through that and, yes, we will discuss what's going on that cruise ship and everything and see what's what there. But, you know, Ham, the virus, they always got, like, the strangest names for these things, you know? Yeah. I mean, what do. You can't. You can't not call them anything strange. You're not going to call it the fun disease. Well, it's like another Asian name, too, apparently, you know, like, emanating from the agent region. Okay. So, yeah, it's funny because it comes from rats and it's the year of the horse. All right, I'm trying. Don't. I'm trying to bury the leaf. All right, all right. I just think it's. There's something very spiritual to this whole thing. That's very. There's always something spiritual to it. Last time I was eating a bird. This time it's a rat. Okay. Anyway, get to it. And then, yeah, the whole data centers thing that just came up on a podcast that is not out yet, but we were saying on there that with the guest who was in here, that we were looking into that because I was less familiar with what's going on. It feels like there's just been, like, almost a hurricane of attention towards it. That, as we discovered, does not mean it has not been going on in the sense that these massive, massive places haven't been being built for at least a few years now, all over the US and we will discuss the backlash on that. I have strongly empathized with different people around the country. Be it in Utah, be it in New Jersey and some of these other places where you're seeing constituents from local places go to their government meetings where these data centers are being basically rammed down their throat, and they're like, we don't want this. And. And I. I fully understand that because there's a lot going on here that is not the same thing in any way as, like, the fiber optic boom or some other booms like that that were far less intrusive, if you will. Yeah, this seems to have a lot of people up in arms and people from all across the spectrum of, you know, demographics, so. That's right. Yeah, that's right. And. And it really exploded because you get a big name on it, like Kevin o' Leary's behind one. We'll. We'll explain all that. Mr. Wonderful. It's funny. Weren't we talking about having him on the show? Yeah, I'm. I'm working on it. Working. Yeah. Well, now it. Now it has a whole new meaning. We got. We gotta talk to him about it. We got a lot to talk about, so we'll see if that one happens. But he's like, the face of it. But there's a lot behind it. And we'll get into the details. Definitely. We're just looking at that. And then also, you know, the fake alien invasion thing is, you know, starting to come out today. I saw a great rant from Tim Dillon last week on Twitter. Yep. Talking about that. But they did release some data today, and if you know me at all, you know I'm wildly interested in this subject, I want to know. But, yeah, this is a huge distraction. I've said it throughout the 14 now episodes we've done with this, where they started floating this before the Iran war. I was like, this is. I smell a rat here. And we'll get to some of the roll out there probably today. So I imagine people will agree to. With me on that. That said, I do want to start off with Bill Mercy, who was the inmate in charge of watching Jeffrey Epstein while he was on suicide watch in the prison, who was also featured on the Discovery Channel episode I did with Andy Bustamante. And I said last week, just to reiterate, I was not there when, when they filmed with Bill. That was the week before. And I was only told about it, what the vibes were from the crew. And I want to be fair, because if he changes his story or something, we got to put that out there. And, yeah, Bill seems to be changing his opinion back. He appeared. I'm going to play the clip in a minute. He appeared on TMZ with Harvey Levin. I think that was yesterday or the day before. And long story short, he's back to saying, yeah, Jeffrey Epstein 100% killed himself. What's very strange about that to me is again, when I spoke with the crew who was there filming with him, they said he was shook when he left there. He walked in there saying the same thing he's saying now to TMZ. 100 killed himself. Absolutely. He was depressed, all this, all that. Said the same thing to Andy on camera. And then when Andy went into the cell with him and went through everything with him, he was like, what the. So again, I wasn't there. I can't say I heard that from the guy's mouth, but that was the takeaway other people had. And I find it a little odd that now, a week later, he's going on more of a mainstream network. Not that Discovery's not mainstream, but a bigger mainstream news network, if you will, with TMZ and going back to the original story. So let's, instead of just hearing my explanation of it, let's hear his words so you guys can get a feel for this. And we'll go from there. Action Simon Williams audition for Wonder Man. I'm gonna need you to sign this. Assuming you don't have superpowers. I'll never work again if anyone found out. My lips are sealed. Marvel Television's Wonder man, all eight episodes now streaming only on Disney. At least to me. Feels very kind of weird that it's almost like off the cuff. Hastily written, the sentence structure isn't particularly good. Does that ring true to the person you interacted with for so many hours in terms of just the way he speaks? Well, it does and it doesn't. But it seems to me he was probably very stressed being in the special housing unit because that's a really bad environment. That's the worst of the worst in the prison. If you want protective custody, you don't. You're with the bad boys and they yell and scream all night and it's just harrowing to be in the shoe is what I understand. Fortunately, I never went because I obeyed the rules, but I think that he was probably very stressed at that moment and was just scribbling. You spent a lot of time with him and you know, obviously what, you know, people are saying that this may not have been suicide. There are some people who believe it was murder. Your take is really important because you spend as much time with him as anybody in the world. Weeks leading up to his death. Do you believe this was suicide? 100%. I'm sure he killed himself. Why? I'm sure. Well, first of all, he had to be in the prison. For somebody to get in there and murder him would take a. A big conspiracy involving a lot of people. And those guards were not true. Withered under interrogation. They weren't really ready for prime time. Half of them had PTSD from fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq. Those weren't the guards on duty. It wouldn't have worked. That conspiracy would have unraveled immediately. And additionally, I watched him ratchet down emotionally after he couldn't get bail from the judge. He couldn't give up his island and his airplane and get out as he had before. And he was facing life behind bars for the rest of his life, and he was not ready for prison. Okay, let's pause it right there. So the one thing I do want to say is looking at his delivery and everything, I think, Bill, it appears to me like he really is back to believe in this. I'm not. You know, he doesn't seem like stress seems like pretty matter of fact about it, so I can't speak for him. What I will say is that Andy very quickly disabused me of the notion that it would have taken a massive conspiracy to murder him, let alone get him out alive. It's not that massive. Secondly, the PTSD point about the guards and needing. Needing to be in on it doesn't make any sense. We can double check that. De. But Tova and then the other guard, I forget his name. I don't believe either of them were veterans. I'm not even sure how much that would matter. They were literally asleep at the wheel. Correction, my apologies to Billy Mercy. He was actually right about this. I did not know this previously, but Tova Noel, I looked at it. One of the two guards on duty, she was an army veteran who served overseas in Kuwait. So that's my bad. Let's make sure we get it right back to the show. But I have way too much energy today because I can't work out the way I want to work out. Let it out. I can just feel it. I hurt my shoulder a little bit last week and now I'm just doing like the physical therapy in the gym and I'm just amped. So sorry to everyone out there. I'll slow down a little bit. But, you know, Andy basically described it to me in what didn't make the cut in the final episode as he could do it with three people. And I believe only one of the people was actually involved with the prison itself. And it's an inmate. So I. I don't think that's not Bill's area of expertise. But it's very interesting to me that he's going back to the str same story. And is very interesting to me that he's doing it with Harvey Levin, who is reporting on the Epstein files, but has been leaving out the elephant in the room, which is that he's mentioned as being in those circles in the files themselves. I don't have J Mail in front of me. I haven't seen anything that makes like Harvey guilty of anything, to be very clear. Like he's not like one of the main characters by any stretch of it. But yeah, tried to call you har. Harvey Levin, who runs tmz is a good friend. So this is actually the other way around. This is in 2011 from Mike Steric. Citric. Citric, yeah. And he's telling that to Jeffrey Epstein, which again, that doesn't mean Harvey Levin's like friends with him or anything like that. And once again, I haven't seen anything to be like, yo, Harvey Levin was running around with Jeffrey Epstein. It's just weird that, like, he seems to have kind of ignored that. And they're going so hard on setting up a D.C. bureau to go after the congressman for like sex crimes and stuff. But then they do Epstein content. And a lot of it is just kind of like, hey, whatever the mainstream narrative is going to be, oh, he killed himself. What we. What can we do to support that? So I don't know. That was fascinating for me. I'm always going to show you whatever narratives are coming out. And so if there's something mentioned last week where then someone involved in that evidence changes publicly, and I see it, we'll put it up here and that's what it is. You guys can decide for themselves. But there was also another big one that got ignored, related to Ghislaine. I don't think I talk with you about this, Steve. No, but there was a report from. I believe this came from Julie K. Brown, who is the original Miami Herald reporter who broke this case back open in. What was that, 2017? She first did that one of those years in there. But the headline here is leaked email suggest Maxwell plotting to sacrifice big name for freedom. Famed reporter Julie K. Brown obtained a leaked email pen by Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghillen Maxwell while in prison just last year. An email Brown theorized that might hold a clue to the convicted sex trafficker's plan to secure either a pardon or other reprieve from her 20 year sentence. Republicans on the House Oversight Committee recently signaled an openness to offering Maxwell, who was found guilty of five federal charges related to sex trafficking, minors clemency and which would free her from prison in exchange for testifying under oath in a report published on her sub stack recently. Brown predicted Maxwell will ultimately receive a pardon or other relief, citing an email she sent her sister last October. I found this note she wrote to her sister from prison back in October that hints at what Maxwell has brown, whose reporting has helped lead to Epstein's arrest in 2019, wrote in her report in the email. Here it is Maxwell requests of her sister Isabelle Maxwell, who we have discussed in another context before that I believe that was episode three 90. That was the fourth one we did where we talked about some of her interesting company ties. But to Isabel and Maxwell, her sister that quote, send Leon's emails etc stuff to Leah, unquote, noting that quote, one day the spigot will dry up. Unquote, Brown concludes, and I and I agree with Julie here, I think this is what it is concludes that Maxwell was referencing former Apollo CEO Leon Black, a longtime client of Epstein's who has been accused of sexual abuse by several women but has denied any wrongdoing. Black has also been close friends with President Donald Trump for decades. As for Leah, Brown includes Maxwell to be referencing Leah Safian, a friend and lawyer of Maxwell's who helped draft her recent appeal for clemency. And that that's true. As far as like the relationships go with Leon Black, there's pictures of Leon Black at a round table meeting sitting like two people down from Donald Trump meeting with like some random Russian businessmen in like the late 90s or early 2000s or something. And it had nothing to do with any of that Russiagate stuff or anything like that. It was just like a regular business meeting. But like, meaning they're running in the same circles. They're running in the same business circles. There's a relationship there. And Leon Black's relationship is very well known to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars to Jeffrey Epstein in estate advisory. Yep, capacities. Looks like he's about to get blacked out, brother. Soon enough. Soon enough. You know, color me doubtful on that one. But what I'm sadly not doubtful of is that this I won't even say pardon, even though they have floated that the clemency, the freedom, whatever it is, whatever form it comes in, the freedom that is being floated around Ghislaine Maxwell, unfortunately, I think is a real possibility. And that will be a let them eat cake kind of moment. Like I Said a couple weeks ago. Yeah, I mean, they're already getting us ready with all of these articles and headlines. It's like they're trying to soften the blow. And they're doing it around the noise. Yeah, exactly. Data centers, missing scientists, Iran war, Peace but no peace. Better trading of Iran war, UFOs. Yeah, you know, it's hard not to think that way. That's rough. Palm Beach Pete had a moment this week. Yeah, I, I, I, I unfortunately saw that one, too. You know, I'm just gonna make a. It's a little weird. I'm gonna give some unsolicited advice to people out in the public sphere these days, because it just seems like we are having a crisis of PR talent in an advisory capacity. Hire someone good. Not Peggy Siegel. Hire someone good and do what they tell you to do. Because too many of you people. I'm thinking of a lot of different people in my head related to the Epstein case, unrelated to the Epstein case. Too many of you zig when you need to zag. And Palm Beach Pete, who, you know is a little excited. He's really soaking it up, dude. To look like it's the most prolific pedophile in modern history, he's a little too excited about that as it is. He. He said this this past week. That certainly perked up deep in my ears. Ask you, are you Jeffrey Epstein? I am not, but thank you for having me. Really appreciate it. I'm Palm Beach Pete, living my life. I'm retired. I'm 71 years old. How many people at my age get to hang out with young kids. Influencers. And really enjoy the journey? So that's what's happening in my life right now, Pete. Yeah. So Palm Beach Pete, cocktail. I would have never. You never would have thought this would happen, right? Never would have thought this would happen. Yeah. That's the question. Yes. How many people my age get to hang out with young kids? Influencer. My brother in Christ. Have you looked at this case? Read the room. I mean, that's not an admission of anything, but, like, optically speaking, optic. I feel like we're given optics advice every week. Yeah. It's just crazy. It just goes to show you, people don't want to lose their inner child no matter how old they get. He's like, I get party with the kids and the influencers. I'm all. And it's like, dude, you look like a renowned pedophile. Oh, my God. Yeah. Just. I could think of 30 other examples of instead of Jeffrey Epstein, where, like, you shouldn't be proud to look like X person. That's right. That's right. You know, Pete, it sounds like you did well for yourself financially. Go back to your life. Exit stage. You don't need cameo. You don't need podcast appearances. You damn well don't need appearances on News Nation or. What was this? News Nation. Yeah, News Nation. Just, just go back to the way it was. Friend to friend. I'm not your friend. But like, think of me as a public friend. Go away. It was fun while it lasted. How about that? I'll give you that. Yeah. For a week. There was another story that came out. There's so many. Just like, doesn't end. Layers, layers and layers. It's. It is the wildest onion of social circles, cultural settings, connections, rich people, underground railroads, whatever you want to say. Like, it is the wildest onion of. That we, hopefully that we will ever look at. But it's a famous chain called Cipriani. And you know, there's Cipriani Wall Street, I believe there's one in upper Manhattan. I've never been to that one. There's some in Miami. Like, like, they're all over. It's a very high end Italian restaurant. If you've been in the. I guess it's the flagship location. That's how I always thought of it at Cipriani Wall Street. It's, you know, tables on top of tables, but a lot of them. Usually a little weight when you go in there. Very kind of crowded place. A lot of history to it. A lot of serious people around. Yeah. I do have this article. I'm gonna want to open that up. Deef. But there's also an upstairs there, and I've actually never been upstairs because I, I. My understanding maybe I'm wrong about this is that it's generally for like private parties. And I believe they have stuff. I don't know how big it is up there at that location, but I think like, sometimes they have weddings up there and things like that. Exclusive. It's very exclusive. But they'll have late night parties as well. And I don't know if I want to say people like me, my, my dose of Cipriani is drinking their bottled Prosecco that you could buy at the liquor store. Yeah, that's how I get it. Yeah. There was a guy I was talking with one time. I will say this, there was a guy I was talking with one time. Another one of those stories where at the time you don't think anything of it and then you read something like this and you're like, huh, interesting. But we were talking about, I didn't know this guy well at all. I met him through this business and we were at lunch with a couple other people talking about like different social scenes, like in New York, but not the high level stuff like this. Until he specifically mentioned Cipriani and the Wall street location. Because we were at a restaurant, if I'm not mistaken, that was pretty close to there. And he really calmly threw in there, like, oh, yeah, I used to be there all the time. Yeah, it must be like a regular or something. And I'm like, yes, it's a great restaurant. I've been there a couple times. And he goes, we would do the upstairs stuff. I'm like, the upstairs, I like. Again, unaware of what this is. And you're gonna hear about some of it in a minute. He's like, yeah, I'd throw parties. He just said it just like that, like real serious. Like, I throw parties. I'm like, parties, like, like private party get togethers. He's like, nah, like full blown. Bring people together. Do the whole damn thing. Oh, we bring them together. Yeah. And again, maybe like I feel like some of the innocence of just basic conversation in the world has now been forever shattered. And whenever I'm in any conversations like this in the future, I'm always going to be thinking, like, what are you up to, pal? But at the time I'm like, oh, cool, whatever. Moved on in the conversation, never asked him about again. And this guy might be fine. I don't know him well at all. But that was just ringing in my head because in the Miami New Times, they wrote an article this week called At Cipriani, power dined upstairs. So did Jeffrey Epstein. So let's go down here. I want to read some of this so people can understand. On any given night in downtown Miami, it starts there. The glassy waterfront dining room at Cipriani hums with a familiar local energy hedge fund and crypto bros, Eastern European expats, glamorous women and barely their heels, bottles arriving unprompted. It's the sort of place where access feels baked into the lighting, the service, the crowd. It's also the kind of environment that for years helped power American financier and child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, social network. So I want to go down. It gives some of the history of Cipriani. We don't need that right now. It's been around a long time. But cheers to Cipriani's legacy and Miami's dynamic future, reads the caption. On a December 2025 Cipriani Residences Instagram post, an intimate world in the making, where the quiet glamour of Harry's bar meets a sanctuary for residents only. Let's keep going down because it's going to get to New York. There's a picture of Marilyn Monroe there. A September 2025 sub stack post by independent journalist Ellie Leonard described Cipriani Wall street as a Hollywood hotspot for people like Harvey Weinstein, Diddy, Woody Allen, Leon Black, Donald Trump and yes, Jeffrey Epstein. That is a all star cast, all star team. Okay, well, an October 2001 Vanity Fair story states that Paolo Zampoli hey, our friend Paolo, who we only talk about in a pora specalazione capacity, obviously, but Paolo Zampoli, an Italian former modeling agent turned presidential special envoy who is rumored to have introduced Donald Trump to Melania, had a standing table at the bustling joint. In January 2019. The Daily Beast described Cipriani's hotels, bars and restaurant as Harvey Weinstein's hunting ground. That's not creepy at all. Signing accounts from more than two dozen sources who described a close relationship between American former film producer and convicted sex offender Weinstein and Giuseppe Cipriani, women have alleged they were sexually assaulted by Weinstein at Cipriani owned venues. Cipriani associate Paolo Zampoli told the Daily Beast that Weinstein was a very frequent client and described Cipriani as a close friend. Weinstein is accused of three sexual assaults at Cipriani Properties and is charged with a fourth assault against a woman he met at Cipriani upstairs in Manhattan, the Daily Beast story reads. In 2002, a former employee at Harry's Table, a Cipriani restaurant in Manhattan, sued the company, alleging she was sexually harassed by both the restaurant's owner and Weinstein. One survivor, Kelly Brennan, describes a May 22nd Substack post how Epstein allegedly groped her at Cipriani's Manhattan location in 2003 while she was a college student at State University in New York in New Paul's, she recalls being brought to a semi private area filled with stunning girls and young ladies, most of which seemed younger than me. Soon after I was introduced to Epstein and friends including Jean Luc Brunel, a beautiful brunette woman that fit the description of Maxwell but I cannot be sure and other adult men, she said, Doesn't look good, no, it doesn't look good. It doesn't look good. It doesn't look good. It doesn't look good. No, no. Like no this shit stay away. You get invited to places like this don't go. Yeah, don't go. I've been to Cipriani downstairs in broad daylight at 12pm for lunch with people ain't gonna catch me upstairs there. Yeah. It's like Eyes Wide Shut. It's just. You don't go. Yeah. And. And there were other conversations I've had with other people not related to Cipriani where, like, they're inviting you to things. And this is before these Epstein files came out and any and everything. I'm thinking of some conversations last year where your head even then is like, I don't think anything good can come of that. Yeah, absolutely. And, you know, you and I talk about this off camera all the time because, like, obviously you're really connected in New York too, knowing a lot of people. You constantly get invited to things. You're like that, you know, and that's really happened over the last couple years for me around here. And I love New York. It's an amazing place. But you know what I like? I like going into a nice public bar with people that I actually like. Friends and enjoying the night and coming home when it's over. It just feels like there is this weird underbelly. I always knew this existed, but it is deeper and wider than I ever imagined. And we are now, at least, if there's some good to come of this, seeing some light shined upon that with reports like this. I mean, the. The. The angles that so many people are taking, digging into this. That was the Miami New Times right there. Y. Yeah. Shout out to them, like, great work. They're tying together different people, including prolific, infamous people like Harvey Weinstein, following similar patterns to same places that people like Jeffrey Epstein went. And again, you always hear me say, it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck. It's a duck. Usually. Yeah. It's kind of what it looks like. But yeah, that one sent a real. I mean, maybe it's nothing I have to say, maybe it was nothing in that conversation I had with that guy, but. Oh, yeah, that. Yeah. Yeah, I like. There's definitely not nothing. There's some shit going on there. Yeah. But the. The other stuff, no one goes to Hank's for spreadsheets. They go for a darn good pizza. Lately, though, the shop's been quiet, so Hank decides to bring back the $1 slice. He asks co pilot in Microsoft Excel to look at his sales costs, help him see if he can afford it. He's real Forrest Gump of things. You know, Skull and Bones. Guy from Yale, ends up being a senator, runs for president against his fellow Skull and Bonesian George W. Bush in 2004, loses, but I believe goes back to Senate after that. I could be wrong about that. Eventually ends up Secretary of state. He has come up in that capacity on my podcast many times. Episodes 249 and 2. Well, it was in 2 50, John. John Kiriak who really talked about it, because John Kiriakou was asked by John Kerry to be. That's what it was. The chief investigator of the Senate Foreign intelligence committee in like 09ish. So he was a senator again after losing the presidency election in 2004. But he's always described as a slithery figure, someone who will lie to your face and not think anything of it when he walks away, as it seems most of these politicians are, regardless of what party they're in. They're all the same thing. It's all the same team. We also played a video of him somewhat recently, maybe several months ago on a podcast where he was like at the World Economic Forum. What was he talking about? Like scaling back the First Amendment or something like these people. I don't remember what it was, but it's some cringy clip and it's like, dude, what is he, 75, 80, something like that? It was that. You've had your day. You got all the Heinz ketchup money. Go away. Yeah, he says. John Kerry says First Amendment is the enemy as elites try to stamp out free speech. Yeah, this is from 2024, I believe. We played it on a late 2025 podcast. But, you know, just odds. So Tara Pal Mary, longtime OG investigator of the case, decides to Take a look at some ties. So let's actually play this vertical video that she put out earlier. This was really good. This is a picture of John Kerry with Jeffrey Epstein's housekeepers. The former senator, Secretary of State, and member of Biden's National Security Council. Until now, John Kerry has largely escaped scrutiny for his connections to Jeffrey Epstein. I remember back in 2019 when Virginia Giuffre told me that she recalled encountering John Kerry. I was in shock because this would have been at the height of Epstein's sex trafficking operation and, and just a few years before he ran for president. I looked through thousands of documents in the Epstein files over 10 months. And what I saw was Epstein's fixation on John Kerry and his willingness to introduce him to people like Steve Bannon, a disgraced Emirati billionaire who said to Jeffrey Epstein, I love the torture videos. In these newly uncovered documents, you see Epstein's staff recalling seeing John Kerry in either photos or personally, like on his plane. Epstein also donated to Carrie politically into his packs back in 2019. His spokesperson said that Kerry had never encountered Epstein personally. But these documents reveal something that's very common in Washington. Power, proximity, and access as currency. Since I published this investigation, Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna said that he wants to call in John Kerry for questioning before the House Oversight Committee. I reached out to John Kerry's team to see if he will comply. For more of my reporting, head to tarapaulmary.com and you can read the full Deep Dive investigation. Shout out to Tara for that. So, yeah, she put if, if you were watching the video, not just listening to the podcast. She also put some of the screenshots of some of the official record, I believe, like depositions or court cases where these things are quoted. The picture of him, John Kerry with the housekeepers. And again, it's like all these people were coming out in 2019. Oh, I never met Jeffrey Epstein. I don't know him. And it's not everyone, but many people trickled out over the years and then flooded, especially over the past three, four months, that they lied and they did know him and he was around. And again, when John Kerry's in that Senate Foreign Intelligence Committee era and then we Secretary State era, these are similar eras to when we have it on record that Jeffrey Epstein is setting up meetings with the future head of the CIA, the current head of the CIA and John Brennan, at some point, you know, he's wired into the Obama White House's chief lawyer fixer, Katherine Rummeler, that we've covered A million times on this show. He's talking, setting up meetings with the fucking head of darpa. You think he probably didn't know John Kerry? I think not. John Kerry is also the same guy that. When John kiriakou discovered the whole. What was really happening with the poppy fields in Afghanistan, which was his job as senate foreign intelligence committee fucking chief investigator, to go find this shit. When he brought it home, John Kerry was like, no, not like that. Not. Not. No, no, no, we're not gonna talk about that one. And John Kiriak was like, what the fuck? And then, you know, I don't think it's coincidence he gets charged. Yeah. What's the oppenheimer quote? It's like amateurs seek the sun and get eaten. Real power stays in the shadows. Yeah, that right there, yeah, that's no fault to John kiriakou, but I think that's where he kind of drew the line with something like that. And that might. Yeah, it didn't help his cause, but, you know, it's just. You're just gonna keep hearing about people like that. When you have reporters like Tara, who again, have crazy sources that I could never compare to on this case because again, she's been on it for so many years. Julie K. Browns of the world, these OGs of the case, they're gonna find this stuff. So again, some unsolicited PR advice. If you knew Jeffrey Epstein or were ever around, and perhaps maybe come out and admit it, talk about it in the full context, tell the whole truth, because they'll find out and get out in front of it. It's the best you can do. You're probably still gonna get cooked as you should, but man, you might get. You might get baked instead of deep fried, you know? Yeah, you know, that's better. Come on. What are you going to do better for the cholesterol too? Now, there was a closed door hearing this week, Dave. Conveniently not on cameras and not recorded, but lucky for us, a stenographer did take it. I believe they haven't released any of this yet. I'll get to that video in a minute. That's perfect. But Howard lutnick. Who? I don't. I didn't see anything about Howard Lutnick being at the white house correspondence dinner. Deep. Wow, good catch. But seemed like the whole cabinet was there. Let me see if I could find. Yeah, let's see. I. I want to know if that's true. That's interesting. I haven't seen anything about him being there. Doesn't mean he wasn't there he might have been. But that was kind of interesting, right? The guy who has insisted on still being around the cameras, standing next to Trump, doing his thing through thick and thin. He wasn't there. Yeah, he didn't attend. He didn't attend. But Kash Patel, who is not officially in the Cabinet. That's right. Deep FBI director, is not in the cabinet. But he was there. Yeah, he was there because he had to get shit faced with the boys. This FBI. I will say this. As much as I don't like Cash Patel, I. I didn't believe that Atlantic report. Apparently that was turned down by, like, a lot of publications that were like, no, this is not true. And then, you know, he sued him for it, which, again, optically, you probably shouldn't fucking sue him while you're the head of the FBI, but he'll mind to talk on that. But, yeah, I mean, there's. That's my whole thing. It's like, there's enough to. There's enough material to work with on that guy. Oh, I mean, you know what I mean? Yeah, he's funny. I get a kick out. I get a kick out of. It's great. But how he wasn't there. How he was not there. So, you know, I'm glad he was safe at home while that was happening. Didn't have anything to worry about. But, you know, this is. This is a guy who, if you go all the way back to what started this with episode 381, which was just a genuine crash out I had on him. You know, he went on an interview in the New York Post last year and looked the camera the lady in the eyes and gave this whole dramatic retelling of the one time he was around Jeffrey Epstein in 2005, when he was, I think they were like, finishing construction on the house he had bought. Number 11, right next to Jeffrey Epstein on East 71st Street. He saw the massage table. Jeffrey Epstein creepily talked about getting a massage, the right kind of massage, right in his face, like right here. And he walked out and he said, in the eight to 10 steps it takes to get from my house to his house, I told my wife, we will never be around that disgusting individual ever again. And then he went on to list every which way that it turned out in the emails that were later released, he did spend time around Jeffrey Epstein by saying, so I was never involved with him, in business, personally, with philanthropy, nothing. Because he is disgusting or said something like that. And, you know, we. There was a clip we put together this of me flipping out on Instagram where we showed all the emails with the highlights. Shout out Danny Gonzalez helping me out with that clip. You know, where we see the emails and all the years after this, where he donates to things involved with Jeffrey Epstein directly on an email chain with him, where he discusses, I don't even remember what they were. But investing in stuff with Jeffrey Epstein where he discusses, obviously, infamously visiting the island in 2012 with his whole fucking family and some other guy in his family. And then can we pull up the picture? Howard Lutnick J Mail. You'll see it pop up. There was an image that was released in the original January 30th drop that, thank God J mail exists and copied everything. It was later removed by the Justice Department, but it shows very clearly Howard Lutnick in 2012. Here it is on the island with Jeffrey Epstein. I don't know this for a fact, but those may be Howard Lutnick's children to his left. They look like at that point, pretty close to grown adult males, maybe like teenagers, something like that. I don't know if that's them. I don't know if the guy on the right sitting down is Lerman, who was the husband of the couple that he references in the infamous email. But. But you can see they, they showed on the island that they're basically right by the temple right here. Howard Lutnick is in beach clothes, good flip flop game, I'll give him that. And Jeffrey Epstein's right there. And they seem happy as a pig and shit, you know. So Lutnick goes in this week in this closed door hearing, which again, he did testify publicly in front of Congress a few days, like a week or two after the Epstein hearing, January 30 drop, where he did get somewhat, certainly embarrassed there, but it was a light hearing, just going over like, hey, I think you lied about not knowing him. And he answered some of that and said, we were there for an hour. To which Steve said, who the spends an hour on a fucking island? Yeah, neither here nor there. But, you know, he also mentioned like, and I left with my wife, my children and our nannies. It's like, were you gonna leave them behind with Uncle Jeff? Like, was that an option? Was that. You know, it was just creepy. And I ripped him at the time, righteously so. For not walking out of there even before he walked in there. For not resigning. Yeah, you are when you serve especially any serious office, but the highest office in the fucking land that apparently reports to a lot of other people who aren't elected, but either way, the highest office in the land, the White House. When you serve that and you become a distraction, you resign. This is a tale as old as time is. This is what people do. It is bigger than you. The only person who don't resign is the President, which, you know, I'm not saying they never should, but I'm saying, you understand what I mean? Like, when you're a problem, you're gone. You do the right thing. If you don't, you get fired. And for some reason, he hasn't gotten fired. He's taking fucking, you know, white boys with motion pictures with Elon Musk six weeks later on and posting it to Twitter. Yeah, yeah, Like, Howard, I'm making it my crusade to see you gone from the White House. And you know what? Maybe after that, I won't bother you anymore. Unless new evidence comes forward, in which case I will. But, like the hubris or. Or the complicity in things far more than Epstein. Yeah. That you have to. Have to still be there. Yeah. And say fuck you to all of us. That hubris slash endor complicity, pretty large. So Ro Khanna came out of this meeting and again, huge shout out to Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna, bipartisan coming together on this. I couldn't even tell you half the political positions that either of these guys. I don't care on this issue. They have been consistent, trying to help, doing their best. They're in Congress. There's some limited power there. I understand that. But like, they're staying on it. You know, it's not just the soup du jour moment. And you saw it like, Ro Khanna's calling for. For John Kerry to be questioned on this and stuff. These guys are going across the aisle. They don't care if there's a question of guilt. At this point. Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna, to me, have demonstrated they don't care what political spectrum it's coming from. It's all the same spectrum to them. And that's exactly how it should be. But this is what Ro Khanna had to say when he walked out of the. The Howard Lutnick private closed door hearing. Well, now we know why that interview was not videotaped. If Donald Trump had seen the video transcript, he would have fired Howard Lutnick. It was really embarrassing. He was asked very straightforward questions about whether he regretted misleading the American people. I mean, he said that he would never see Epstein again in 2005. And everyone knows that he took his wife and kids to see Epstein in 2012. And yet it was just contortions and lies and no acknowledge that he misled the American public. And if you saw the exchanges that my colleagues had with him, you would see he made a farce of the English language. I mean, he was trying to define I. As if saying that what he really meant is that he would not see Epstein alone, but be totally fine with having his wife and kids, kid, cfc. They made no sense. And then he's raised even more serious concerns about the investigation. He originally had said that Epstein engaged in blackmail and recorded videotapes. Now he's saying, well, he was wrong. He was just speculating. Oh, he went pure spec. He didn't engage in blackmailing. This raises the question of what the COVID up is. Did someone tell him, whoa, I've not heard that he is that Epstein never engaged in blackmail. Why is Howard Lutnick changing his testimony, changing his story? He's lost all credibility. And really, it's a shame that the American people don't get to see what he did and resign. Resign. Get out of there. Now, that's a bombshell. Bombshell. Because again, and I believe James Comer, who's a Republican, I believe it was Comer who said this afterwards, to his credit, that even though it wasn't I. There was some weird semantics with this. They were doing some verbal jujitsu with what this official hearing was, but it wasn't, like, under oath. Comer said something like, lying to Congress is still a felony, so God help him if he did. The fact that Howard Lutnick, after everything we've seen and everything that's public now, went in there and went out of his way, it sounds like, again, we weren't there, but that's how Roe Kana is making it sound. Went out of his way to say, yeah, you know how I was admitting that? Like, he definitely did blackmail. Yeah. No, I don't think it was blackmail. I think he just, you know, despite all the preponderance of evidence that shows very clearly he was blackmailing fucking everyone, including Howard Lutnick, in all likelihood. It's like, Howard who got to you, who. Who whispered in your ear, who said, you can't say that, then you steal our line in the process, hitting them with respect. Are you fucking kidding me? Yeah, I should. I want two fucking. Yeah, we're gonna hit him with a trademark. Yeah. Complaint. You kidding me? Let's make his life hell. Come on. Def. I don't think we can do that. I don't even own a house. You know how much that fucking litigation costs? Yeah, I got nothing in this fight. I talked to the trademark attorney last week. It was like fucking, dude, 2k for like an hour and a half. Dude. Yeah, trademark is not cheap, dude. It's actually pretty wild. Like, who needs this money? Who needs it? You know what? It's just firewood, right? Anyway, the countdown of Howard Lutnick resigning or being fired, not that Trump would do the right thing on that, very clearly has been going since the beginning of this and the clock is still ticking. Occasionally I tweet the date and time and say Howard Lutnick still has a job in the fucking White House. In the White House cabinet, no less. And every time we all talk about it on Twitter and still nothing happens. And it just goes to show you that they feel impervious, if that's the right use of the word, to the criticism of the masses and the righteous. It's not just criticism. It's righteous. Evidence backed. Clear. Gotcha. Yeah. Criticism of the masses of people who are pretty upset that anyone related to this guy, be it, you know, with some sort of relationship, be it a Howard Lutnick, be a Paolo Zamboli, be it any of them have any sway or power at this point. It's, It's. It's a disgrace. Full on. Now, I'm going to put a pin in some of the Paolo Zampoli stuff because we're going to continue on that case. There was one thing with his aunt coming out and doing an interview this week, but I want to build more on that and probably do that next week as well, because he's been tweeting some stuff from around the world and in his very official capacity as special envoy to whatever the fuck. I don't even remember what, gets to travel a bit. Yeah, the prestige worldwide is prestige worldwide. It's pretty sick. Yeah. But, you know, again, it's all public evidence, Palo. And what are allegations, we very clearly said are allegations. Just want to remind you of that, my friend. You can run the tape. Pure spec. Pure spec. So we will. We will come back to you. But before we get to this Hantavirus thing, Thief. Can we do the fake fucking alien propaganda and just get that over with? This was today, Peter Doocy, Fox News, you know, which is basically Trump news, coming out in. In a very binder like fashion. Remember when they came out with the binders of the Epstein files? All the influencers. Yeah. They're like, here we go. Yeah. You know, Peter Doocy came out with. Was that a hard Drive? Yeah. Is that what it looks like? Yeah. District something. Some kind of drive. Let's just let Peter take it away. House official left this hard drive, this one on my desk overnight. You can see. Oh my God. Aaro files. Copy 2 of. Holy. All domain resolution office copy 2 of 3. This is the first big batch of UFO disclosure ordered by President Trump. Some of the clips and videos on there have popped up different places before. Some of them have not. And we have been going through this all morning and overnight to try to put together some of the best videos. Renowned alien expert Peter Doocy's been on the case here. So let's go to the world exclusive over the sky of the United Arab Emirates in June 2024. An inverted teardrop with a vertically linear trailing mass as described by the War Department. Suspended below. The War Department cannot say for sure what this is. It is officially listed as an unresolved UAP report. The next video over the skies of Iraq, December 2022. Moving bottom left to top right of the field of view. The aliens care a lot about Iraq gets from. This is an area of contrast. That's what they describe it as. It is officially still listed as an unresolved UAP report. Next video over the skies of Greece, October 2023. What is described as a small and circular UAP flying near the surface of the ocean towards land. CENTCOM can't tell us what it is. It is officially listed as an unresolved UAP report. Within the last two minutes, all of these videos have gone live on war.gov official tells Fox. First, while administrations sought to discredit or dissuade the American people, President Trump is focused on providing maximum, maximum transparency. Maximum can ultimately make up their own minds. That's right. Make up your own information contained in these files and there's also a fresh look at some historical records. Okay, I've seen enough right here. You know, I'm so fascinated with the alien thing, you know that I have talked about it a lot before. I, I think mathematically I've talked with a lot of physicists. It's near impossible that we're not alone in the universe. What that looks like, how that looks like, I don't know. There's a lot of noise that's come out of the government since 2017. I've seen a lot of that disproven over time. There's other things that I'm open minded on. You know, there's certainly some stories around the world of sightings that to this day fascinate Me, because it's like, maybe could be something there. Especially when you look at the timelines of when they happen, where they happen, the lack of coordination that could have occurred, the types of people who saw them. It's like, were they all MK Ultra in all these different countries at all these different times? Perfectly. To say the same types of things. I don't think so. But as I said earlier, early on, when they were right, when they announced that they were going to start opening up the UFO files when the Epstein was at Feber. Fever pitch. Take all this stuff with an enormous grain of salt. The videos there are some of the least excite that he just showed are some of the least exciting videos I've ever seen with this stuff. If anything, it's DARPA weapons or not even at that level. Some other country that has DARPA junior And they're working with some basic drones. One of them could have been, for all we know. It's not, but it could have been a bird like the, the white one over Iraq. You don't fucking know. But to be clear, I don't think it was a bird. Either way, you know, I'm just sick of this shit. It's just. No. And like, again, refer to that rant. I. It had to be four or five minutes. There was a clip of it on Twitter. Maybe we can find it. But refer to Tim Dillon's rant last week about this. I agree with Tim on everything, except if like real evidence were brought, like actual real evidence were ever brought out about aliens that he was like, no one would, would give half a shit. I disagree with him on that. But his point is perfectly well taken about the whole disclosure thing. Just being as he quotes, everything done from here on out is going to be the most embarrassing thing you've ever seen. Referring to this as like the soup du jour of the moment being alien disclos and how it's just, it's not going to be anything that's of note and it's just to change the narrative however they can. And like, yo, when stories like this happen, we'll talk about it because, like, it's happening. I can't be like, la, la, la, they're not doing it. But like, I'm gonna talk about it in the lens, calling it like, I see it as best I can. And to me, it's a nothing burger. Right now you're. You're rolling it out with Peter Doocy. I saw Sean Hannity talking about it. You know, no disrespect, but like, this Is this. Is this is the. The White House fucking media rollout? Personal rollout. Yeah, that. That clip of Peter Doocy. The first thing I thought is, aren't you embarrassed? What the hell is going on? Yeah, it's just. Yeah, we got to bring back shame, dude, say it all the time. Just a little bit. Nothing crazy. Nothing crazy. Just a little bit. But we got to bring back a little shame. Just a bit. Now, I don't want to spend too much time on the hantavirus thing. I don't want to spend a half hour on this. But it's a story. We obviously all get a terrible nails on the chalkboard feeling, especially when the media starts, like, pushing something like this after what we lived through with the pandemic and just the pure misery of all that. But hantavirus is. Again, we're not doctors or scientists. We're going off of publicly available information. In fact, we're going off information straight from the CDC and who. Who doesn't exactly have a great record of being on the side of people. I digress. Hantavirus is, at this point something that has been around since. I believe it's technically an ancient virus, but there was, like, a breakout in Korea. Is that right, thief? Yeah, I think so. Let's make sure we get it right. This episode is brought to you by Redfin. Level up your summer@columbia.com to spend more time outside and less time slathering on aloe lotion. You're welcome. Colombia. Engineered for whatever. Yeah, it began with the hot. I have it right here. The hantan virus in Korea linked to hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome. The major turning point in the U. S. Was 1993, when a mysterious, deadly respiratory illness appeared in the Four corners region. There have been 890 cases by CDC's count through 2023 since surveillance began in 1993. And this came up because there was the whole cruise thing where this crew, this cruise that I was believe. I believe it was a Dutch cruise, had people on it, contract the Andes hantavirus. And then different countries and ports didn't want to take it in. These people were like, quarantine, don't go on a cruise, alright? Like just don't go on a fucking cruise. It's a floating country where everyone's on top of each other. I was on a cruise when I was 16 where it literally caught on fire in the Mediterranean Sea. Not pleasant. I still never been. Never. Well, yeah, you know what, you're not missing anything. Yeah, please just go somewhere where you can get a fucking hotel, get an Airbnb or don't travel, I don't know, like stay home. I don't know if you're gonna travel, go, go by land, go by plane. Yeah, it might be a stay at home summer, honestly, a stay at home summer. I like the Jersey shore, you know what I mean? But this cruise was sitting there for like a month before I think they took it Spain, agreed to take it off the Canary Islands where they did the full fucking quarantine thing. Like all that stuff we remember from years ago. Obviously we hope for the recovery of everyone there. They did apparently like fly these people back all over the world because they were coming from different places. Great idea, great idea. But I did see, I definitely took a note of this. Let's see the threat assessment. Here we go. The personal threat is serious if exposed disease can progress rapidly and be fatal. The public threat is usually low. Very important because hantavirus is not generally efficient at spreading between people. The main risks are rodent infestations, disturbing droppings, poorly ventilated cleanup cabin, slash sheds after winter, rural work, camping and travel to areas with Andy's virus. The pandemic threat is currently low. Even with the Andy's virus. Person to person spread appears to be require close prolonged contact and is not like the efficient airborne spread of SARS CoV2. So there you go, the same people and we're gonna hold them to it. It I don't want to hear anything about. Oh no, this one's different. Ah yeah, dude, I, I just, I've talked about this a lot before. The thing that like Covid itself, like that time period made me realize more than ever and I realize it more than ever with each passing day and other things that occur in this chaos that we have access to now to see around the world. It just made me realize how fragile society is. And that is, some of that is a reality. It's just the nature of, like, living in a complex world with complex things and threats all around. Other parts of it are, you know, that's not a compliment towards us as a society and the way we operate and the way we do things and the constant peddling of fear or even not getting justice on things to remove people from power who shouldn't be in power based on actions they take. You know, it's a litany of things. But I do feel like I, I, I never want to see anything like the hysteria, which is exactly what it was of the pandemic, and, and that whole period of people just fucking fighting each other, dehumanizing each other. I mean, we do it for other things now, we, not us. But, you know, people still fight over all the time. It's just unfortunately in human nature and kind of the law of large groups. But that was a nasty time where the institutions failed on every level. And, you know, we don't, we don't talk about the pandemic a ton. That's not intentional. It's just, I think it's almost because, like, people don't want to talk about it. Like, oh, God, that. But like, when you see a moment like this where, you know, again, we were seeing the red flags flying with, like, the media pushing this whole thing immediately. Oh, two more cases, right? Yeah. Moderna's working on a vaccine for it right away. You know, same characters, same kind of little playbook. So that's why we're talking about it right now. And it's a good time to remind ourselves, chill out, you know, we're not doing this again. I, the one thing I think about Thief is like, if something actually really bad, you know, some sort of bioweapon or something really got released, and because of the bullshit and lies of the pandemic, everyone was just like it. But that's, yeah, that's, that's my biggest worry with this because it still has like a 38 fatality rate. And, like, I just worry when they tell us, ah, chill out, don't worry about it. I'm like, ah, my alarm starts. You know what? I don't know. Yolo. I'm an idiot. I'm an idiot. Yolo. Do what you want to do. Live your life. I'll do what I'm gonna do. Call it a day. Like, there's so many lessons learned from that period for Me personally, like, so many things that I just in the past took for granted. Oh, that's just the way it is. And pure stupidity on my part. There's really no other way to put that. So I don't want to be stupid again, but that's what's going on with it. I think a lot of people taking the. Taking a vibe check and people in my circles and stuff, they feel the same way. Would love to know how you guys feel out there. Let us know in the comments down below. But, you know, obviously hope for a full recovery. If all the people who are involved with this, I'm just. Yeah, I think. I think they'll be all right. Yeah, I think. Yeah. Hoping for the best. But there was also, you know, what we should do, the data centers right now to make sure we get to it. Yeah. And then if we can get to some of the stuff that happened in Iran, extremely under the radar also, just like the Epstein thing, same vibes. But some stuff happened in Iran this week that people should be talking about. And I did. I will say Clint did a really nice job in episode 4 19, which came out today. Which means if you're watching this on Saturday, yesterday, talking about some of this, especially towards the end of that podcast, we. We hit on it at different points throughout the podcast, the implications of things in the Middle east right now, long term. But, you know, my friend Clint Russell, who hosts the Liberty Lockdown podcast, he, you know, he understands economics very, very well. And this whole petrodollar thing and the continuing kind of ticking time bomb that's happening particularly in the straight of Hormuz right now, you know, this cannot last. This. This cannot last for months and months and months. Or there could be some cliffs that are jumped off that you. You can't fly back through the air and get back on the cliff. And the petrodollar is one thing people are not talking about. Of course we are all talking about gas prices. Because just like always, all regular Americans like you and me are out here now paying. You know, I saw one, like, 550, something like that. My buddy in LA sent me. It was like, 650. Jesus Christ. I mean, like, it's. It hurts. Oh, yeah. You go there and you're like, oh, my God, I just. I spent $40 on this three months ago. I'm spending 85 on it right now. Dude, Z paid $95 to fill an Acura tank. That's not crazy. That's nuts Sedan, you know, and it's like, this wasn't A part of the campaign promises that Donald Trump laid out to his many voters. And I, you know, I've talked to a lot of people who voted for Trump, and I, first of all, I don't blame him for voting for someone. And then the guy does the complete opposite on things. They can't control that. And I get that. And, you know, they also always say the same thing I do, in the sense that Kamala was an awful candidate. And that is just a fact that doesn't change. But, you know, to see the flip here, I fully understand why people are frustrated with that. And I think, I think that's absolutely fair. I think the whole, like, oh, well, you. You voted for him, that people say to all the Trump voters, like, how fair is that? When on the highest levels of things that weren't even in the purview of possibility, he's gone completely the other way on. I mean, that's. I saw Charlemagne going at Dana White on that. Yeah, yeah, he did a great job with it. That was cool. That was cool. Dana's. And like, that's not Dana's fault that he was friends with the guy and is friends with the guy and stuff. But, like, but like, at the same time, you gotta be real, bro. And Dana, choose your friends. Sure. But I'm saying, like, he was a pre existent longtime friend, whatever. You know, Dana's a billionaire. We're pretty close to it, at least. Yeah, this, this ain't hurting him as much, but his fans, people who support his business, it hurts them what's going on. And, and you, and you should, especially if you're publicly advocating for him and everything. You, you should be able to answer those questions. It's not in a hostile way, but like, I thought, you know, Charlemagne came with receipts on that. Oh, yeah, yeah. Cooked him. Yeah. So anyway, the data centers, this hit the mainstream, as we said at the outset, with the whole Kevin O' Leary thing. So. Kevin O', Leary, Mr. Wonderful, someone who's been on Shark Tank for a lot of years, extremely well known, very famous. He's involved in this project out in Utah where, what is it deep, 60 square miles or something like that. 62 square miles. Two and a half times the size of Manhattan. Two and a half times the Size of Manhattan. He is looking at building a data center that size in rural Utah, where, to be clear, he is. He is like, the face of it. There's a lot of investors behind it. There's debt financing. The governor of the state has signed off on it. There's a Military implication with respect to different things that occur in Utah. I'm not totally in on what those details are, but it says right here the project is being fast tracked by Utah's Military Installation Development Authority with the support of Governor Spencer Cox. So there you go. I'm not sure on the specifics there, but like, government's involved, investors are involved, and my understanding is that they're building this with the idea that it is a pure, like, if you're Kevin o' Leary and his investors behind him, it's a pure investment opportunity because there's going to be a massive. There already is a massive demand for these data centers in this AI world. So he can build this thing and then have tenants like Microsoft and Google and places like that and make money as like a landlord of an AI data center. The problem is you are building this in the middle of massive communities. You are building centers that in some cases might only end up employing like 40 people from the community to work there. These are centers that will use massive power, massive water supplies. I don't want to get into the math off the top of my head. It's a lot. I don't want to get facts wrong, but it is a lot. In a world where, like I said, everything's fragile and things we take for granted are hanging by a thread, constituents around the country in various places where these data centers are being proposed to be built are righteously very hesitant about the potential long term water effects, the effects on electricity bills in the area because of the consumption, usage. Yes. The destruction of wildlife, the changing of the literal environment, and in some cases generational hometowns that they have lived in for decades or centuries. Families that live in these places, the lack of jobs that will come from them, as I alluded to a few minutes ago, and also the noise and the quality of life data center. It's. It's not this. It's not a Tesla sitting on the road at full stop. You know, this is. I'm not an expert on these fucking places, but my understanding is they make a lot of noise. Yeah, you know, we were driving through Boonton. Was that you with me or was that Chaz? Yeah, it was Chaz driving through Boonton a couple weeks ago. I haven't been up there in a while and like, we're joking about some of the houses that are built right on the wall of 287. Like, literally like the wall ends and 287 is right there. And we're like, God, imagine. Imagine what that does to your property value. And shit like this isn't that different. And it's 62 square miles now. I know the art. Let's. Let's hear. Before he potentially comes in here. I don't know where that stands. But again, we got a lot to talk about now, Kevin. Let's hear what Kevin o' Leary had to say in response to this. Before we play the video, though, deep, I do want to say there was an enormous, I guess like local council meeting of the local government out in Utah where this was. And it was in an audit. It was in a, like a basketball auditorium. Auditorium, like a big place. And it. I don't know how many people there were there, but a lot. And these people were. Well, let's play it actually. Let's play this. Steve, All of this is false. Then why won't they let people talk? Why won't they let us that quick. Yes. This is not real information. And we sit here like it's okay way. It's a charade. It's a charade. It's false. Shame. Straight up. Game of Thrones. Love it. Look at all those people, man. Good for them. Yes. Okay, let's cut it. There a lot of. I don't know the number. A lot of people in there. Good for them. Clearly they're all on the same side. This isn't some fucking coordinated protest or anything like that. And there's other videos that show like the three councilmen. I don't know what their official positions are, but you know, the people in charge of like approving something like this. And despite all this, it looks like they're going to approve it. And it goes to show you side point here. Def. Oh, that was. That was after it was approved. That was after it was approved right there. So they already did it in front of all these people. They said, yeah, we hear you. Go fuck yourself. We're doing it. And it. As a side note, it goes to show you, and I mean this in a perfectly safe legal First Amendment capacity. Let me highlight that before I say this in a perfectly safe legal First Amendment capacity. We need to become a country again where those who govern us that we elect fear us rather than them sitting in a position where they believe we need to fear them. And shout out to all these people in Utah, regardless of where you stand on this issue, they have strong opinions about this with a lot of evidence behind it, by the way, that I just laid out. Oh yeah, shout out to them for making that heard and awful cynical moment for a government passing it. Despite all of that Backlash that occurs for something that is not that. Listen, I'm sure there's some economic viability that will come of it. But as far as jobs go and all the drawbacks we laid out, it's something that people righteously have a lot of hesitation on and should involve the will, the people deciding whether or not you have something like that there. And again, without being in any way to be clear, an expert on these data centers and all the AI processing and cloud computing and, and whatever that they, they do just optically. Maybe, maybe don't start with a 62 square mile. Yeah, but that's why they do it. We're stupid and we don't know how this stuff works. So that's why they're going to come in and explain it to us. Don't you see? I, I just, it's, it's so bad. But let's, let's hear what Kevin o' Leary said about this. How are you offsetting the, how are you offsetting these environmental concerns? Well, I'm actually the only developer of data centers on Earth that graduated from environmental studies, so I'm pretty aware of what these concerns are. They are around air, water use, heat, noise, pollution. So sustainability is at the heart of what we do in terms of all these proposals, not just Utah. We have 10,000 acres in Alberta County, Canada with the same concerns. And so we search for the best technology. There's many air cooled turbines now, so you're blending in air cooled versus water. There's so many different ways to generate power. We can also put a percentage of the power generation through solar, wind and batteries because the battery technology is 10x more efficient than it was just five years ago. So that's very helpful because it might makes the cost of energy. This is a monotone sale. So no one, you know, if you're environmentalist and you don't care about that stuff, of course you protest and that's what happens. I noted. You know what's happening in Utah right now is we think over 90% of the protesters are actually not people that live in Utah or Box Elder County. And so people live in Utah aren't stupid. There's people, no, there's, there's people flipping out. They realize why am I letting people don't even live in my state make decisions for me And I don't think it's going to work out for them. All right, pause. Professional. This, this, this is a really, really bad response. I did not watch that before we went on so I could kind of react to it, but it's monotone, it's unempathetic, it's pivoting to, hey, look at all the benefits you're going to get without actually looking at why people are upset about this across most of the variables. And then it's also playing the blame game and trying to say that, oh, it's just like another George Soros busing in people, which I don't think that's what that is. And again, as def. Alluded to correctly, there was a, there was a meeting, New Jersey, two days ago. Yeah. It's happening all over. It's happening all over Maryland. And these are, these people are upset about it because you're, this is, this is ripping the wax off Steve Carell in 40 Year Old Virgin. You are taking everything from the down to the pores. Yeah. And you know, this is actually a decent example if he ever comes in here and after this episode, probably won't. But decent example to give you an idea like how I approach these things. So I don't do gotcha sit downs with people. I talk with people for three hours. That's the way it's been since the beginning of the podcast. We had, without knowing about any of this, months ago, looked into having Kevin o' Leary in. I think I know some people who know him. I think that's how that came up. Yeah, I've spoke with his people too. Right. They've been receptive. And, and maybe that'll happen. If Kevin o' Leary came in here, I'm not gonna sit down and be like, yo, you bro, what are you doing? I want to hear him out. I want it. Rather than a 90 second sitting in his car answering a basic question on some mainstream network or whatever it was, I want to actually have a discussion, see what it is. Have him lay out his whole case, be able to lay out the same case respectfully and carefully that I just did to you guys in probably a way more forgiving tone to see what he does with that. And then you guys out there can judge away based on whatever his responses are. And wherever that lands, it lands. You know, that might. My job is as best I can to not. I mean, my opinions come into some things, but I don't want you to just like take my opinions, including on this show. Obviously my job is to present the things as best I can and then let you guys figure it out. Agree with me, disagree with me, agree with the guest, disagree with the guest however you want based on what the facts laid out are. But I get so many headaches every month. It could be chronic migraine, 15 or more headache days a month, each lasting four hours or more. Botox prevents headaches in adults with chronic migraine. It's not for Those who have 14 or fewer headache days a month. Prescription Botox is injected by your doctor. Effects of Botox may spread hours to weeks after injection causing serious symptoms. Alert your doctor right away as difficulty swallowing, speaking, breathing, eye problems or muscle weakness can be signs of a life threatening condition. Patients with these conditions before injection are at highest risk. Side effects may include allergic reactions, neck and injection, ejection site pain, fatigue and headache. Allergic reactions can include rash, welts, asthma symptoms and dizziness. Don't receive Botox if there's a skin infection. Tell your doctor your medical history, muscle or nerve conditions including als, Lou Gehrig's disease, myasthenia gravis or Lambert Eaton syndrome, and medications including botulinum toxins as these may increase the risk of serious side effects. Why wait? Ask your doctor. Visit botoxchronicmigraine.com or call 1-844botox to learn more. Yeah, I, I pro I haven't really thought about this in the context of now what's coming up. I probably, I probably still want to do that podcast because I think that should happen. Oh I, I and I and I know where my head's at. My I, I'm gonna be honest, my bias is with the people here. I think this is way too fast, way too much without even knowing all the specifics of just what a AI data race this is. And a big issue that I take with stuff like this and in and it was a big issue with the, and meeting a few days ago is that they're rolling out these projects for, you know, billions on billions of dollars with no incentive or very little incentive to the town, to the schools, to the people. So it's just like who is this for? Who is this really for? That's right. And again, it's a big part of the AI craze and like I don't and this is something I would say to Kevin o'. Leary. I don't think like Kevin o' Leary thinks Kevin o' Leary is a stone cold business investor. I don't say that as a slight or a compliment. He is just, he is a very successful businessman who is always looking at trends and what he gets off on as best as I can tell is like let's make a deal and let's grow from that deal and good for him. Like that's A part of what runs the economy. I don't have that gene. I'm a creative, as I've discussed recently, I'm romantic about how I make money. I like to do things I love, and wherever it lands, it lands. And that's probably why I don't have a lot of money. I should probably get a little better at it. Maybe I could take a point preacher. The choir brother. Right. But like, you know, the downside of being purely motivated that way is that maybe even through the right intentions in your head, you pave your way to hell with the wrong intention subconsciously. Because subconsciously what you're seeing is target, trend, acquire, go. And you lose the people that are caught in the middle of that because you see them as assets or liabilities or a mix therein. I don't know. But it takes the humanity out of things. And again, sometimes that's not intentional. Other times it is. They, these guys like Kevin o', Leary, they got to look themselves in the mirror at the night at night and decide what it is and they know the truth there. So I won't say one way or the other, but you know, when you're looking at late stage empires throughout history, we talk about it so much. There are all these different trends that happen over and over again. Go back to the Roman empire, go back to any empire, and one of them is a separation of classes, the diminishingly small, powerful, more and more powerful elites and everyone else, and eventually the scale of math and money tips. Now, what's funny is this is like the story of my life, but not what I just said, what I'm about to say. I was watching a clip a couple days ago, I believe Elizabeth Lane posted on Twitter. It was from the Rebel Wisdom show, hosted by David Fuller. It was from back in 2020 with Douglas Rushkoff, who spent a lot of time with billionaires guy I don't know a ton about, but I was thinking to myself, man, this would make a great podcast. And then today, Danny Jones drops a podcast with Douglas Rushkoff. So shout out Danny Jones, everyone. Go check out that episode. Danny Jones never, ever gets the credit he deserves. Basically, if you look at any big podcast where like a guest blows up, there's a 20% chance over the past like five years that this was Danny Jones plus X number of months. Like Danny gets people first turns over rocks, or you know, people maybe sometimes people who are known but just haven't done the podcast circuit or whatever, and he gets it and then it goes. So maybe that'll happen with this Douglas Rushkoff guy. But let's play this clip real quick. Deep, because again, this is back. This was released on February 7, 2020, so over a month before the pandemic started, which was obviously a world changing event and all that. And Douglas Rushkoff is talking about some very candid conversations he has had with people who I would describe as very separated from the realities of the average person. Let's run it. Yeah. I was invited to do what I thought was a talk to like bankers or something at a resort. And instead of me going out to do a talk, they brought these five guys into the green room who started peppering me with all these questions about the digital future, you know, like Bitcoin or Ethereum and augmented reality or virtual reality. I figured it was one of these things where it's just these five billionaires looking for, you know, investment strategies from someone who's on the ground in the cyber revolution. And eventually they got around to the question of, you know, Alaska or New Zealand. Right. So they wanted to know mainly how to prepare for the inevitable collapse of society. And the question we spent most of the time on was how do I maintain control of my security force after the event because their money is going to be worthless and these guys will turn on them. And it just struck me that here are the wealthiest and most powerful men I've ever encountered, yet they feel utterly powerless to influence the digital future. That the best they can do is prepare for the inevitable collapse and insulate themselves from the reality that they're creating by earning money in the way they're earning it. And it was sad, but indicative of the way these folks are thinking. You know, the, the high level billionaires like the, the Elon Musk's and Jeff Bezos, they want to get off the planet altogether, really just leave us behind. But the mid level billionaires who can't afford rocket ships, they're want to build, you know, bunkers and secret communities and get robot guards and you know, robot cards, protect themselves from the rest of us. You know, that this is where it's going. Or at least they're convinced enough that they're putting in 20, 30% of their wealth into these survivalist scenarios. And it's just a dark place for us to have gotten, particularly the people who are building the technological infrastructure. Yeah, and I think your conclusion to that was. So this last part we're going to watch of this right here, this is in a nutshell to me just encapsulates the complete separation from reality. And I would argue, at the very least, the basic human decency or straight up lack of humanity that some of. I'm not labeling all people, some of these elites, seemingly the ones that he's talking with, have of all of us. Let's play it. Well, if you want to stop your. Your kind of security force basically mutinying, you're going to have to treat them well. Basically, the only things that actually are going to be useful in those environments are things like trust, love, care and the soft skills. Because you can't actually. The money isn't going to help. Right. And a legacy of doing that, you can't just start when they arrive. I mean, the joke was I said, you know, if you really want, you know, you want your head of security to protect you, you know, pay for his daughter's Bat Mitzvah today, you know, and they all laugh because none of their heads of security are Jewish guys with, you know, daughters getting Bat mitzvahs. But they understood what I meant. You know, if you paid for someone's daughter's Bat Mitzvah, then when push comes to shove, it's going to be hard for them to kill you, you know, 20 years later in the shelter because they'll think, this guy paid for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. He punched it right there. Can't just kill him. It's so sad. It is so sad that advice like that needs to be given, basically. Like, yeah, you know, get a little ashtray money and fucking buy off your security guy. Throw him a. Throw him a hundred grand so he doesn't kill you in 10 years when the whole world's over. And the fact that these people are thinking that way. And to Douglas's credit, he talked about the only things that would matter in that type of scenario where he's like, love, trust, you know, lean on each other's safety and things like that. The fact that these people that he's talking with don't even know what that is. Yeah, those words mean nothing to them. They operate in a world of just this. It's crazy. You know, you gotta live with yourself, man, I wish you all the best, but, like, don't come to us, the people, literally everyone who's not a billionaire, and tell them how, how to live their lives, whether that be through dark funding to the government. Don't tell us how wars need to be fought. And I say all this knowing full well they're going to continue to do these things. But, like, I'm just like everyone, I'm sick of it. Like, you're not even. At some point, you're not even human. And like, I, I even do wonder a guy who I, I think has done some really good things in the past, and then other times, pisses me the hell off with Elon Musk. He's a controversial dude. But I wonder, like, he said this week, his goal is to, like, make Trent 10 million or 10 trillion. Like, why do you need that? Yeah. Now, Douglas Rushkoff says it's because he's trying to get off the planet. Him and Bezos. That's what he said specifically, because you think it's ending. You know, I, I, it's, it's dark. It's dark. And, and I don't like it. It's. Go ahead. It's got Red Rising written all over it. I know you haven't. You, you were touching it a little bit and reading it, but Crazy. That's Pierce Brown. Pierce Brown. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm trying to get into that writing style. His writing style is a little different. Well, you know what, that Red Rising was his first book, so you'll see by the second book, his prose gets a lot better. But, man, jeez. Makes you wonder. It does make you wonder, where will we be in it, like, a few hundred years from now? Yeah. Guys, I don't like pure sp, if you pure spec, but, like, if you know me politically, I'm cynical, fully admit that. But when it comes to life, I'm an unabashed optimist. Doesn't mean we're not going to talk about the dark shit. Doesn't mean we're not going to get pissed off at things. Doesn't mean I'm not going to shine a light in, in the alleyways that need it. But, like, when I walk out of here, I go for walks. The sun is up, I'm happy, I spend time with friends, I go on dates. I have a good time. Like, life is life. And I feel so. I, I don't know, like, I wake up happy to be here. As stressful as, like, life can be sometimes in the job and everyone out there, you know what I'm talking about. Like, it's an amazing thing and you never know when it's going to end. But if there's one thing I feel bad for these people on, it's that they're never going to know what that is, and maybe they never have. Yeah. Well said. I agree. You know. Yeah. Now we're coming up on the end here because we've been on for about 90 minutes, but I'll just cover this very, very quickly and I'm sure hopefully we see some good news with this last week. But there were, there was various bombing exchange between the United States and Iran. It was a he said, she said of who started it. But the US then bombed a couple spots in Iran and said that this wasn't an act of war and that they got bombed for we got bombed first in this case. Either way, Iran did say today through their representatives that they are reviewing the US's 14 point peace plan. Hopefully that hasn't changed by the time this comes out tomorrow. I hope to see that be the case. But one thing that should get a deeper light than what I'm going to do right now with more facts that should piss all of you off is the fact that through our very much betting on everything society with poly market and all the different prop bets and trends that could be bet on geopolitically at any time there is open and this has been going on open, clear insider trading happening on any piece of news. Yeah. Especially related to this Iran war where people behind anonymous accounts are making tens of millions of dollars on various announcements. And there was even reporting this week potentially implicating some people at Axios which has been a very, I mean we cite different news stories they do on the show all the time. Obviously they got a lot of people there so it's not like the whole company. But this shit needs to stop. Yeah, I mean we've, we've joked about that, not joked about that, that openly called for it with regular stock insider trading with Democrats and Republicans all over the place and having that stop and now we're even seeing them do it on fake news as it turns out that just moves markets. This week it was buying crude oil based on, based on news that was going to come out. So I'll read this tweet and then we'll sign off. According to our analyst, $920 million worth of crude oil shorts were taken 70 minutes before an Axios report claimed the US and Iran were near a 14 point deal to end the war. Which apparently these near deals have been reported over and over and over again specifically outta Axios in some cases and then they never end up being the case, at least so far at 3:40am Eastern today, which I believe that was a couple days ago now nearly 10,000 contracts worth of crude oil shorts were taken without any major news. This is equivalent to 920 million in notional value and unusually large trade for 3:40am and they have all the stats on this. That's why they're saying it at 4:50am Just 70 minutes later, Axios reported that the U.S. is quote, close to a quote, Memorandum of Understanding unquote to end the Iran war. By 7am Eastern oil prices had fallen over 12 with these crude oil shorts gaining approximately 125 million. Minutes later Iran launched the Persian Gulf Strait authority and oil prices surged 8%. What just happened happen? We'll dig into this more. I'm sick of the elitist like this. I know you guys are too. But we're still gonna have our fun around here. That's all we can do. Nothing changes. So shout out to everyone who has been subscribing Enjoying the show? We are putting out two full guest episodes every week along with this episode on the weekends. "New Epstein Hunting Ground, Shiny ALIENS & Hantavirus – PURE SPEC"
Date: May 9, 2026
Host: Julian Dorey | Co-host: Joey "Deef"
In this wide-ranging, high-energy episode, Julian Dorey ("JDP") and co-host Joey "Deef" dive into a grab-bag of current events and wild stories with a mix of humor, cynicism, skepticism, and sharp investigative instincts. The focus is conspiracies, elite circles, and societal underbellies, with stories ranging from new Epstein-related bombshells, political entanglements, UFO disclosures, a hantavirus media scare, data center controversies, and elite billionaire paranoia. Julian and Deef keep their raw, conversational tone, pushing back on mainstream narratives while digging up receipts, notable testimony, and overlooked stories.
Sharp, raw, irreverent and deeply skeptical, the JDP tears into establishment narratives, PR spin, and elite hypocrisy, while highlighting the importance of grassroots pushback and the need for accountability. Equal parts wild stories, investigative receipts, and musings on society, it promises "PURE SPEC" and delivers.
For listeners: If you want a deep current on elite power, media narratives, and what’s NOT being reported, this episode brings receipts and urgency—without taking itself too seriously.
