Danny
All right.
Julian
I have done a lot emphasis on a lot of different podcasts over the years. I'm a generalist. I do all different topics. That's what keeps this show fresh, and that's what I love about it. That said, this is without a doubt the most different kind of podcast I have ever done. For those of you that are already familiar with Matan, you already know what you're about to get. He is one of my most requested, if not the most requested guest of all time. Baron Coleman obviously was, like, huge over the last couple months, but over the history of my podcast, I constantly have people asking me to have Matan on. If you are not familiar with Matan, he'll never admit this, but he plays a character online, and what he does is he comments on social, cultural, and political events through this character. It is very funny. It is satirical. It's way over the top. And like, we just did it live for a couple hours and rolled with it. And I stayed in character with him on the other side. And you'll see several times, like, I just broke. Because it's absolutely hysterical. But none of it is meant to be taken literally. Like, if you see his channel, this is what he does and what it is. But it's basically an episode. If I could describe it, like Seinfeld, it's about nothing but everything at the same time. And it was absolutely hysterical. So a lot of you are going to love this. Some of you are going to be like, what the is this? Either way, for those of you this is not for. I'll see you for the next episode. This is also the first time in the history of my podcast I've left in a bathroom break like this didn't cut that part out like you always do, obviously, when you're not by the mics, because it was hysterical. And Matan is just like, extremely entertaining. So if you have not subscribed, please subscribe. Also, please hit that like button. It is a big help. YouTube is really emphasizing that these days. So I appreciate you guys hitting the thumbs up. And that said, please enjoy. What you spraying there.
Danny
The smiley face.
Julian
Spraying a smiley face with my Lysol from my bathroom. Yes, let's make you feel.
Matan
That's exactly right.
Julian
Steal other people's and just make yourself at home.
Matan
I'm in your house. I'm a guest.
Julian
Well, this is what Mossad agents do.
Matan
Are we filming now?
Julian
Yeah, we're filming.
Matan
You didn't even give me a notice.
Julian
It doesn't matter. We're on. But like, the. You Know massage agents, they come in, they play with all your. They tell you what to do and don't. Don't fuck with my angles. Hold on a minute, Danny. Now we got to go fix that. Did he fuck with it? I don't even remember what the focals were there. Yeah, yeah, don't worry about it. We'll mark it in a minute. You just, like. You're not answering my question. Everyone on the Internet is pretty sure you are in the Mossad.
Matan
In the Mossad.
Julian
And you've never denied it.
Matan
I guess I would deny it. I've been asked it before, actually, and I've denied it.
Julian
You've denied it?
Matan
Yeah, but, I mean, the Mossad, but.
Julian
So you weren't Jeffrey Epstein's son? That's not true. You weren't born at Zorro.
Matan
Unfortunately not. That would have been pretty cool. Imagine living that life.
Julian
Why would it have been cool?
Matan
Okay, for one, you have a bunch of money, and your daddy's a legend.
Julian
A legend? You think Jeffrey Epstein's a legend? Yeah. Why do you think he's a legend?
Matan
I mean, does anybody think about him anymore and, like, get, like, a disgusting taste in their stomach? I feel like that time has passed now.
Julian
It's like I get a pretty disgusting taste of myself.
Matan
Yeah, listen, I was, like, a little too. For, like, a little bit, but now I've. I've got past that. What are you telling him?
Julian
I'm. I'm just directing over here. I got to produce the show as well. You know, you're keeping Danny all off balance with our cameras. And by the way, when you were coming in here, you started touching all the electric equipment. I noticed. Like, were you putting any bugs in there?
Matan
The electric equipment?
Julian
Yeah, anything that's, like, plugged in.
Matan
Focus all your cameras too much because
Julian
you want us to have the camera on you the whole time?
Matan
No, no. I would have got into those ones, too, if I was close enough, but these are within hands reach. Look.
Julian
Right, right. So you're just gonna make them have to fix this the entire time? Yeah. Yeah. I'm gonna ask you to not touch the cameras again.
Matan
Is that a thread? You said that so threateningly.
Danny
It's.
Julian
Well, I mean, you're the one that sprayed Lysol on me.
Matan
I'm cleaning your table.
Julian
You're not cleaning my table. It's wood. Do you know that liquid is not very good for wood?
Matan
I did not know that.
Julian
Probably unaware of this.
Matan
I'm unaware of it, yes.
Julian
Well, now you're. I've made you aware.
Matan
Awesome. Well, no, I. I'm not Mossad. I have been asked that before.
Julian
Who asked you that?
Matan
A couple people, I think. Sneako asked me that.
Julian
Sneako? Sneako's kind of onto that. You know, he's always looking out for the. You got duck and dived. A little Mossad alligator.
Matan
He's always trying to find things, you know.
Julian
Yes.
Matan
He hasn't found anything.
Julian
He's found nothing. Would. Not one thing.
Matan
I don't even know if he knows where he lives. I think he just happens to find out every once in a while. Just by, luckily, stumbling across it, maybe.
Julian
Is this what you're like all day?
Matan
Like what?
Julian
Like this.
Matan
Are you like this all day?
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
There you go.
Julian
So do you, like, get yourself ready in the mirror in the morning? Do you have to put that face on and, like, you know, kind of, like, frown like that? A little bit?
Matan
I'm just relatively serious all the time. You know what I mean?
Julian
Yes.
Matan
I don't have to look in the mirror and make a face. Is that something you do? No, I would say just imagine the way I behave is exactly like you. If you were way more intelligent and aware of your surroundings at all times.
Julian
So you don't think I'm intelligent?
Matan
I didn't say that at all.
Julian
Well, you said if I were way more intelligent and aware of my surroundings,
Matan
which makes if you were more so, not if you were more so.
Julian
I've been very aware of everything you're doing. I'm aware of what you've done to my table. I'm aware of the.
Matan
How could you not be aware of that? You'd have to be physically blind to not be aware of.
Julian
That's true, but there's a lot going
Matan
on that's not being particularly aware of your surroundings. Hey, there's a massive bunch of. On my table.
Julian
I understand that, but I was kind of out of the room when half of this was happening, watching your guys attempt to plant bugs in my place.
Matan
No, this is gonna do this.
Julian
Okay, zoom that one a little bit. Okay. Just a little bit. You're gonna make this difficult, aren't you?
Matan
On him, because he said he's not the producer and you're not paying him any extra money. He's just the editor on Instagram reels.
Julian
I pay Danny a lot of money.
Matan
No, he said he doesn't get extra money for this.
Julian
Danny Gonzalez is a kid killer, bro.
Matan
He told me for a fact when you weren't here. You're not giving him extra money for this.
Julian
Did you really tell him that?
Danny
I getting extra money. I'm saying, I'm just. This is just my.
Matan
He said he's doing it.
Julian
You're already losing.
Danny
Come on.
Matan
Yeah, you see how he's stumbling across his words now?
Julian
Stumbling across his absolutely nervous individual?
Matan
Absolutely. Told me he's not getting any extra money for doing.
Julian
When did you ask him that? When I was in the Pisha dul.
Matan
Is that the bathroom?
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
Yeah, it's exactly what I asked.
Julian
Gave him this information without my permission. Oh, I told you, this guy's in the fucking massage. You know you can't just volunteer that kind of stuff.
Danny
I thought the facade only came here on Tuesday.
Julian
No, they're never here. But they're planning bugs outside right now. Why did you roll in with like five fucking guys?
Matan
Well, I had a couple of people with me.
Julian
You had a couple people with you? What are they doing out there? What are their instructions?
Matan
They're probably sitting on their phone right now watching, like, Hitler speeches on Instagram reels.
Julian
Speeches? The ones that are translated back into English?
Matan
Like. No, just in German. Pure German.
Julian
So they speak German with their learning. They're learning. Is that you making them learn that?
Matan
No, this is like, outside of my control. That's just what's on Instagram nowadays, right? I'm not telling them to do that. I don't even know if they're far right. That's just what shows up nowadays.
Julian
But you're far right?
Matan
I would say on some topics, yes.
Julian
What topics?
Matan
It depends what.
Julian
Hey, guys, if you're not following me on Spotify, please hit that follow button and leave a five star review. They're both a huge, huge, huge help.
Danny
Thank you.
Julian
All right, on abortion, where are you on abortion?
Matan
That's an interesting one. You're saying you want to move to one because that's boring or you want to stay?
Julian
No, I'm saying let's start with a real boring one.
Matan
Well, I think there's a birth problem, right?
Julian
You think there's a birth problem?
Matan
Well, you don't agree? I feel like that's kind of objective.
Julian
What, that we're not producing enough? I agree that, yeah.
Matan
So why don't we just collect a lot of smart radio, relatively attractive people and then not give them a choice? So beyond abortion, I'm kind of a eugenics master.
Julian
You're a eugenics master. So you want, like, the highest IQs, you know?
Matan
Yeah, but they won't agree to do this. So at some point you just have to implement a small amount of slavery. But it's for the Good of the
Julian
world, small amount of slavery, what would that look like?
Matan
It would look like a small amount of slavery.
Julian
Like, you know, is it kind of like you're.
Matan
It would look like you go to a school of like people who are in college above the age of 18. Because that's just this arbitrary law we've decided.
Julian
What's arbitrary? 18.
Matan
We'll move on. Okay, so you get these 18 year olds, you figure out who's the smartest, and then you turn them into slaves. Basically.
Julian
Now how would you figure that out before you turn them into slaves? When you're figuring out who's the smartest, is it just like an IQ test or how would you determine that?
Matan
There's a couple things. That would be one of them. Maybe you asked him if they watch shows like this, and what would the
Julian
correct answer be to get them to be?
Matan
If they say yes, it completely eliminates them from the prospect of being a slave. So actually you'd be saving all of your fans from being slaves.
Julian
Okay, so the ones who are not smart don't have to be slaves.
Matan
What?
Julian
What do they do? I'll come back to the slaves in a second. Also, I drank out of that before you stole it.
Matan
No, that's not true.
Julian
It's very true. I refilled it. I drink a lot of water.
Matan
No, it's not true. You're lying to gross me out.
Julian
It's 100%.
Matan
I saw the water was completely full.
Julian
I don't have herpes or anything as far as I know.
Matan
But you know, I. I saw the water there completely.
Julian
Uh huh. All right, now you're gonna spray my cot. My phone's right there too.
Matan
Now you'll get sick. It'll be in your nose all day.
Julian
Yeah, but the straw is up pretty high. So anyway, back to their slaves and non slaves before he starts spraying away.
Matan
So you don't even know what I can do. Okay, go ahead.
Julian
Whatever you're saying, I don't know what you can do. I don't know what they taught you in Tel Aviv. But back to the slaves and non slaves thing. So the people that you would characterize as dumb don't have to be slaves. Isn't that kind of like you're rewarding them for being dumb?
Matan
That's exactly true.
Julian
Yeah. Now why would you do that?
Matan
Why would you reward somebody for being smart? It's not like it was up to them to be smart.
Julian
Yeah, but it wasn't up to them to be dumb. And you said you're okay, but we're
Matan
doing this pragmatically, we're not just doing this in a fair way. What are you trying to like, make sure that there's no direct cause of who becomes a slave? That's it.
Julian
Why is that?
Matan
Because then you'll get a bunch of dumb slaves.
Julian
But isn't that what everyone who's done slavery throughout history always wanted it to be? So that the slaves would not be smart and uprise them. So you're saying you're flipping around.
Matan
You're saying no amount of intelligence can get you out of a metal room if you're chained by every limb.
Julian
If you're chained by. So you would chain them? Cuz you said it was only moderate slavery. When I picture a metal room and someone chained by every limb.
Matan
No, I meant like a small amount of it. Very extreme circumstances, but only for like 100,000 people.
Julian
On a scale of one to Django, what are we talking?
Matan
I haven't seen that movie. Oh, Django. Which one?
Julian
That was the one with Jamie Foxx and Leonardo.
Matan
I thought you're talking about the one with the lizard.
Julian
The lizard, yeah, Django. What was one. Yeah, Django and chain. Yeah, yeah, that's the slave movie. But what's the lizard one?
Matan
The lizard with the gun? An awesome lizard who fights the snake.
Julian
I don't remember this one. I must have missed it.
Matan
Rango.
Julian
Rango. Can we look that up? Rango. I think I missed that one.
Matan
Yeah, that's a real.
Julian
You know, you don't want to go like full Django.
Matan
I don't really remember exactly what happens in the movie, but doesn't kind of get free relatively easily?
Julian
No.
Matan
And then isn't there like a law that once he's bought out for free, he's then a free man and you can't like even take him?
Julian
Well, technically, with Django, yes, but then they broke that law because that's what the slave owners would do.
Matan
Okay, but that's illegal. Like technically that would have been illegal. They're just breaking the law also. Okay, so that obviously has to be. We have to be more extreme than that.
Julian
You have to be more extreme than that.
Matan
This is a pragmatic thing I'm doing. This isn't me supporting slavery. This is trying to get a bunch of. A bunch of children born. Right.
Julian
So you were picturing Rango here.
Matan
Yes.
Julian
Yeah. That's an unfortunate looking creature.
Matan
He's an awesome lizard. He's green and he's smart and he has a gun and he fights a snake.
Julian
And he fights the snake. So you were rooting for him over the snake?
Matan
Absolutely.
Julian
So, you know, the devil was a snake.
Matan
I haven't watched the movie in a while, but I think the snake has a rattling gun.
Julian
A rattling gun.
Matan
Get it? Because it's like a rattlesnake and he has a gun.
Julian
That would make sense. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. A lot of you out there are business owners, and you know exactly what I'm talking about. When you just have all different kinds of accounts, your money is in all different places. You got business accounts, you got personal accounts, you got subscriptions, you got business subscriptions. And keeping track of it is so difficult. It also doesn't help that when we're growing up, schools don't teach us a real financial education, including how to actually budget things out, organize your money, and plan for the future appropriately. Seems like that'd be pretty smart to put in the curr, right?
Danny
Thief?
Julian
Oh, yeah. But if you check out my friends over at Monarch Money, your financial picture can become clearer than ever, and you can get yourself on your way to organizing all your finances. Monarch is the personal finance app that tracks everything. Your accounts, investments, savings goals, and spending. You can see it all in one place, organized and laid out for you so that you can easily see all of your blind spots. Whether that's spending too much, wasting money on old subscriptions that you don't use anymore, or not properly allocating extra cash to investments that could be earning you money each month. I'm a real visual guy, personally, so it helps when I see everything organized with my money and therefore see where it's all going and where my blind spots are. Essentially, Monarch takes a huge mental load off track of my finances. So go ahead and write your own money story today with Monarch. Use code julian@monarch.com link in my description below to get your first year of Monarch Core F off at just $50. That's 50% off your first year@monarch.com link in my description below using code Julian.
Matan
Very creative.
Julian
So anyway, what would you do with the dumb people that are below your test that you're not going to enslave?
Matan
You just answered that by even asking
Julian
me why did I answer that?
Matan
By what are you gonna do with the dumb people who don't fulfill your test who are not gonna become slaves? They're not gonna become slaves.
Julian
Right. But, like, what are you. What's gonna happen to them? Are they gonna, like, get to go out to the prairie? Like, what's going on?
Matan
I would prefer everything stays the same. I like the. The modern Western world in most of its ways. We just have to have more people so it doesn't turn into the non western world. Right.
Julian
I'll come back to the slaves things. But when you say in most of its ways, what ways don't you like?
Matan
There's a couple of them. I guess it depends when you ask, like where I'm. I'm at on the. Where I have. Right. Political views. I guess it just depends on the problem.
Julian
So what might be a problem? Like trans, that kind of stuff?
Matan
Yeah, I think that should be legal.
Julian
You think it should be illegal?
Matan
Actually, you know what? I think it should be legal. I take it back. I thought about it for a second.
Julian
You just don't think they should be reading in kindergartens?
Matan
I think it should be legal and I think they should be reading in kindergartens because it's really funny. And back in the day, people would let clowns into kindergartens to entertain the children. And I'm not saying the transgender people are clowns. I'm just saying typically they look like them.
Julian
Right, so you're saying it's on brand then?
Matan
Well, I mean, they're usually entertaining at least like when they're talking about the drag queens in the kindergartens. I used to be concerned too. Like, you know, I don't want my. If I have children seeing that. I wouldn't want any of my family who are young to see that, especially when they're that young. But then again, it's like, you know, it's like a real time movie you get to watch.
Julian
It's a real time movie. Like a comedy movie or just like a documentary?
Matan
I guess it's kind of like National Geographic.
Julian
National Geographic. Oh, you're going out there in the wild?
Matan
No, they're coming to you.
Julian
They're coming to you.
Matan
Yeah, but that is their wild sort of.
Julian
How's that?
Matan
They're wild because clearly that's where they want to be instinctually in a kindergarten, dancing like a clown. Okay, got it.
Julian
So when you hold some of these views, you feel like not all of it is compatible with what people in the west are doing these days that you disagree with because you like the traditional West.
Matan
I don't even know what you just said. It sounds like you don't want your bullshit.
Julian
No, it was. There were a lot.
Matan
When I hold these views, I want to do them but not implement them. Because they're not compatible with the west, right? No, I would like to implement them. What is. What is ridiculously stupid question?
Julian
You can't call my questions ridiculously. Stupid because you agreed to be here. You knew what kind of questions I asked.
Matan
Well, you've been asking me for two years, so I felt like. No, you went first. No.
Julian
Yes.
Matan
No. You found my number somewhere. I don't even know where you got my number. Absolutely not. And I'm not even saying that to, like, sound like I'm cooler than you or anything. That's just not what happened.
Julian
So you're changing history now?
Matan
I don't even. I think. And I don't even mean this in, again, a way to sound cool or anything, but I think you just somehow found my number. And I'm a nice guy and I'm not paranoid, so I just.
Julian
So you just agreed to text me back, even though I'm just some random guy that found your number? Which never happened, by the way.
Matan
So how did we get in contact? I'm pretty sure that's what happened.
Julian
You wanted to come on, and then I got tossed on a group text with you.
Matan
Not what happened.
Julian
That did happen. No, you had the hair. You already had the hair then.
Matan
Okay, well, regardless, I don't. I don't really remember, but I'm pretty sure you found my number somewhere. Right?
Julian
Do you wake up like this, or is there, like, work that goes into this?
Matan
Very rarely. I'll take a shower.
Julian
Very rarely. So you don't even do the shampoo? It's bad for your skin to shower?
Matan
Yeah.
Julian
What about if you have one of those, like, shower filter things?
Matan
What would that change?
Julian
Well, filters out all the bad. So the shower.
Matan
No water touching your skin is bad for you.
Julian
Why is water touching your skin bad for you? We're made out of water.
Matan
It'll make you die quicker.
Julian
Why does it make you die quicker?
Matan
Because the water that you're made out of is killing you. That's what kills you. It's not compatible with the oxygen.
Julian
You totally made that up.
Matan
No, I. Okay, on the top of my head, something that complicated.
Julian
I mean, it's not that complicated, but I think you made that up.
Matan
It's not. It's not computer. Why do you think people die? Why do you think people get diseases that don't exist in their body?
Julian
A lot of different reasons.
Matan
Yeah, because they're vulnerable. Because the water is not compatible with the oxygen. The solution is a. Is a ball of rotting meat.
Julian
A ball of rotting. That's what you did? Describe a human being as.
Matan
No, like, I think it's eating one. I think that's what the guy said on Instagram. It's a clip. I Saw a while ago.
Julian
It's a clip. Like a cannibal?
Matan
I don't think so. I think the guy's probably dead by now.
Julian
The guy in the clip. Right. He'll keep fixing it. It's okay.
Matan
Does he have to fix an hour later?
Julian
No, I mean, he'll fix it now, and then you'll probably undo it and he'll fix it again. It's fine. We'll get that part.
Matan
I'm just trying to get him so irritated that by the end of this, he tells you, I'm going to get paid for this.
Julian
No, he's like the nicest guy.
Matan
Yeah, I'm going to. Everybody has a breaking point.
Julian
You could kick him in.
Danny
Comfortable? I'm great.
Julian
No, he's good. He's good. He's good. I guess we're just going to be farther away for a lot of today. It is what it is.
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
Yeah. So you understand, like, there's a lot of time that goes into lining that up to the exact right number and everything. No, you don't.
Matan
I have no idea.
Julian
Well, you just make studios, right? You just set up.
Matan
Oh, you're saying you have to have the exact zoom in number that you said?
Julian
Yeah, I'm ocd. I like it. On a certain, you know, certain setting, for sure.
Matan
Way beyond the point of that happening today. That ended, like, immediately.
Julian
It ended immediately. When the paper towel hit the ground.
Matan
When the paper towel hit the ground.
Julian
The paper towels you put over there, that I think.
Matan
No, I was cleaning some other. The mess I made over there.
Julian
So you just put it on the ground. You know, there's a trash can right here and there's two right outside the door.
Matan
It's right here.
Julian
Anyone over there. Anyone could have seen that.
Matan
I can't see that.
Julian
Anyone could have seen this. You were looking around at all my equipment. I know. You saw the trash can. Look, it has trash in it.
Matan
That mini trash.
Julian
This has trash in it. You can see it.
Matan
That doesn't even look like a trash can.
Julian
It is a trash can. You can see that. It is waste in here.
Matan
Let me see it.
Julian
Yes. Don't dump it. You don't do the New York Knicks lady. I know what you're doing. You're gonna take it. You're not. Who? Oh, so if. So if you were, you would dump
Matan
it yourself and then I would steal it. Yeah, you would steal it because that's actually what happened, right?
Julian
Yeah, it's kind of racist.
Matan
No, but that's not racist. That's what happened.
Julian
That's that's what happened.
Matan
Is that racist?
Julian
I think she was Spanish, but that's neither here nor there.
Matan
She wasn't white, that's for sure.
Julian
Could have been a little bit in there. Might have been.
Matan
That's not why.
Julian
It might have been nicked by it.
Matan
Nope. Not.
Julian
Are you white? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Matan
German.
Julian
You're German
Matan
with, like, a small amount, like, Spaniard. You know, like the conquerors.
Julian
A little bit of Spaniard. Now, is that Spaniard, like, kicked out of Spain in the late 15th century.
Matan
No, no, no.
Julian
Got it.
Matan
I said the conquerors, not the conquered.
Julian
Not the con. Oh, so they were conquered when they were kicked out.
Matan
I mean, clearly. Isn't it like 1500 years before that they got conquered by the Italians or whatever? I guess they were the Romans back then in their own place.
Julian
Yeah. What year are we in something? 0b0.
Matan
You're like that. You know what I'm talking about. But yeah.
Julian
So you're a fan of the Roman Empire? You like conquerors?
Matan
I was just saying, I'm, like, mostly German. A little Spanish.
Julian
Mostly German. A little Spanish. Now, like, you know, is this the kind of German that, like, in 1934, 1935, say, they would have considered German? Or is it. You know,
Matan
I feel like we just went over a different way of describing that. I'm not Jewish. And now we're doing it again, obviously. I mean, just German.
Julian
Everyone points at that, though. They're like, man, this guy. Really? You don't like Israel too much, but.
Matan
Well, because I used to be Jewish. You know what I mean?
Julian
You used to be. So you can be unjewish?
Matan
Yeah. Well, I guess by. I used to think that only if you don't become religious, you can get out of being Jewish.
Julian
Only if you don't become religious. There's a lot of secular Jews.
Matan
According to who? Well, that's just because the rabbis say if you're born Jewish, you're Jewish forever. Right, okay, well, according to rabbis who believe in the religion that I don't.
Julian
Right.
Matan
So I don't have to agree with that. I'm just not Jewish.
Julian
So you view it as a religion.
Matan
Okay, well, I also. By the way, I don't know when this is releasing, but I recently spoke to a rabbi in my show. It hasn't released yet. It'll be out, like, maybe 10 days from now.
Julian
Was it Shmuley?
Matan
No.
Julian
Okay, that's good.
Matan
When does this release?
Julian
Probably around that time.
Matan
In, like, 10 days.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
Yeah.
Julian
What are we. We're recording on, what, Thursday? So Yeah, probably like, 12 days.
Matan
What day?
Julian
Probably a Tuesday.
Matan
But not.
Julian
But I might just be saying that to lie to you. I don't know.
Matan
Okay, well, regardless, this rabbi told me that I'm the most wicked man in the world, basically now that I'm also serious. He was serious.
Julian
He was serious.
Matan
He was serious.
Julian
Did he know, like, you do A bit.
Matan
Well, that's. That's part of it. That he thinks I'm doing a bit. I'm not, but he thinks I'm doing a bit. He thinks I'm mocking him, like, on
Julian
the show or off camera, too.
Matan
I didn't really interact with him that much off camera, to be honest with you. It was a big debate.
Julian
What do you do? Like, do you talk with your people for a while before they're on air, or do you guys, like.
Matan
Yeah, not typically. I like to start immediately if I can just get into the show.
Julian
So you just walk into that White house.
Matan
This is super disrespectful.
Julian
I know. That's what I'm doing. I'm trying to distract you. No, you weren't doing Lysol 100. Yeah.
Matan
Not a distraction.
Julian
You spray. You sprayed Lysol at my.
Matan
Don't try to.
Julian
Coffee.
Matan
Don't try to make me think that's a distraction. I know. You're just having to make texts to people. I mean, you should have got that sorted earlier.
Julian
It's just. It's just.
Matan
Yeah, you switched it.
Julian
That's right. No, I didn't switch. It says, live with Matan. See that? No, I'm not gonna hand you my phone.
Matan
Why not?
Julian
My phone. Despise. I'm sorry.
Matan
Why?
Danny
Just a.
Julian
Just a matter of habit.
Matan
Is he not who you'd want to hand your phone to?
Julian
No. Why? No? Because I don't know what you're gonna do with it.
Danny
Look.
Matan
Oh, I got it.
Julian
I don't think you got it.
Matan
Yeah, I did, because that was like. There's a little spray. I got at least one of them in there.
Julian
Yeah. So now I gotta drink out of the actual thing right here. See what you did to me? Because you thought you. Hold on a minute. That's gonna hit the mic, and then I'm gonna be, like, huffing in whatever that is, you know? Oh. Oh, God damn it.
Danny
Come on. You're asking for it.
Julian
You were. You practiced that. You practiced.
Matan
I was. That was my plan to get that straw.
Julian
That was.
Matan
Yeah, I'm gonna drink it.
Julian
I have another one in the fridge. It's the brown one on the left. Can you Just bring it and put it, like, down there. Like in the bunker chamber.
Danny
Oh, yeah.
Matan
Are you coming?
Danny
You don't want me to bring it back in here for you to drink?
Julian
Yeah, bring it back in here for me to drink. Just don't.
Matan
Are you coming this way again?
Julian
He's coming.
Danny
I might. I don't know.
Matan
You might as well just.
Julian
We're gonna have to fix this thing up.
Danny
Give me something to do. Yeah, I'll get out my way.
Julian
You and I can just sit in here and wait for him.
Matan
But he wasn't really contributing much to the conversation, was he?
Julian
That's not what he's here to do. I thought he was contributing just fine because you made him have to get up a bunch of times to fit, fix the mic and.
Matan
Or you're the one who sent him out, and this is your show, so I don't really care how much time you waste on it or what silent parts you decide to cut out. Yeah, because you want better retention.
Julian
No, we never. We've never done that ever.
Matan
Okay, well, then if you want. I don't. Then it doesn't matter to me either way.
Julian
Yeah, you just gotta let it roll. Do you, like, cut out a lot of parts?
Matan
No.
Julian
I was gonna say it seems like you're like, bing, bang, boom, yeah, the whole time. How do you decide who you're gonna bring on? No, no, no. The. The brown one on the left. Well, nothing.
Danny
Thanks.
Julian
How you decide who you want to bring on?
Matan
I guess it depends if I'm interested. To talk to them.
Julian
Right.
Matan
Seems like a pretty reasonable standard.
Julian
It's a good start. So you were really interested to talk to Palm Beach Pete?
Matan
Mr. Epstein thinks he's Epstein. So who would turn down the opportunity to talk to Epstein?
Julian
Did he agree to do a DNA test?
Matan
I think he's claiming on Instagram that they're not giving it back to him. I don't really know what the situation is. He's saying that they won't give him the DNA.
Julian
Took one on separately.
Matan
Why are you on a thing that says live with me? Are we going live?
Julian
It's not live yet.
Matan
Well, we're gonna go live.
Julian
I'll decide if we're gonna go live.
Matan
On what? On Instagram?
Julian
Yeah, it would probably be on Instagram.
Danny
Okay.
Julian
Just trying to keep you off balance, you know?
Matan
That's not really working. It's like the level one trick. It's like, I'm gonna play and do random on my phone and go live. I did that three years ago.
Julian
Well, I. You know, unfortunately, you stole all my cleaning supplies, so I was.
Matan
I sold them. I just moved them to a different room in your house. If I leave this. If I leave this apartment and then the building. Then go back to LA with your half empty Lysol can. Yeah, but we can call it stealing.
Julian
I built this table with Danny Jones, who's a terrific craftsman. No, Danny Jones. The podcast.
Matan
Danny Brown.
Julian
No, no. Danny Jones. And, like, you just sprayed liquids on the table that he flew up here from Florida to build with me. It's not.
Matan
You had to have a guy fly up from Florida to build a table with six wooden planks.
Julian
It's actually got eight.
Matan
Should have learned that in, like, Minecraft at, like, 10 years old. How to do this?
Julian
No, this is. This all happened in a day. We got this guy.
Matan
I would. Yeah, that's not impressive. He was able to. To put six or eight wooden planks together in one day.
Julian
In one day. What's impressive about all the planks? And we had to get them up here. We had to go to Home Depot.
Matan
This doesn't sound maybe as complicated as you think it was.
Julian
Listen, it was a process we used.
Matan
Like, your mic actually smells like a complete.
Julian
It smells like I just had Ed Calderone there. I thought he smelled perfectly fine. That one. No, no, don't take off the COVID Oh, you're changing the COVID Oh, yeah. Okay. That's never been done before. Oh, what's. What's like. Is Mike. Mike coming in, or is he just gonna, like, sit out and stare at me through the wall? I can feel his eyes.
Matan
He's just sitting outside. Yeah.
Julian
Yeah. Does he. He's always like that, though.
Matan
Are you always like this? We already went over.
Julian
Yeah, but I'm always like this. He's on a different level, though.
Matan
Like, he's a crazy homeless guys to scare people.
Julian
Where'd you find him?
Matan
On the street.
Julian
You found him on the street?
Matan
That's correct.
Julian
Which street? Like, which?
Matan
I don't want to specify because I feel like I might find more people where I found him, and I'd like to acquire those people.
Julian
You like to acquire.
Matan
I don't want to give other people the opportunity, make it easier for them to acquire.
Julian
So when you say acquire them, are you implying that, like, Mike. Mike is your slave, so you're testing out your whole slave thing?
Matan
It's illegal to say slave.
Julian
It's illegal to say slave, so you might.
Matan
It's not illegal to say slave. It's illegal to claim.
Julian
Is my slave right to verbally and publicly claim that, but maybe privately.
Matan
But. But I don't even know you like that. So if that was true, then you would still be illegal. Privately, I would just be risking it. And that's not happening today, so.
Julian
We know. We never talked about the smart people. You would turn into slaves. What if there were enough smart people above a certain IQ line? That there were way more of them than there were of you and they were. You weren't able to.
Matan
There were a bunch of people who had a higher IQ than me. Well, it's not possible.
Julian
It's. What is your IQ?
Matan
I believe it was about 400.
Julian
That's not even possible. One of the highest ever recorded is 220.
Matan
Yeah. And I destroyed the record. You're looking at the highest IQ man in the world.
Julian
You were just born like this.
Matan
I. That's probably how it happens for most people.
Julian
So when Jeff also.
Matan
Some environment as well.
Julian
When Jeff put you in an IVF tube at Zoro.
Matan
You think I know Jeffrey Epstein? I mean, I do kind of. I just interviewed.
Julian
You kind of look like him.
Matan
Epstein.
Julian
Yeah. You look like a young Epstein.
Matan
Is that just an insult or is it a Jewish joke or what?
Julian
No. Can we pull up his Dalton image? Just type in Jeffrey Epstein, Dalton School. There's an uncanny resemblance. No, it was a high school that he taught at. And then abuse the. I mean, you know what he does. Yeah, there he is.
Danny
See?
Julian
And let's just pull that over on the screen right there, Danny. So we got that.
Matan
I can't see any.
Julian
He's. He's about to pull it over for you. There's the window. See? That kind of looks. It's like remarkably similar. He's got a similar thing going on with the hair.
Matan
I actually think he looks completely different. He looks just like the most stereotypical Jew there ever, but he doesn't.
Julian
What makes him look stereotypical Jew there?
Matan
His hair, his face.
Julian
I mean, he could be Italian.
Matan
He doesn't look Italian.
Julian
That seems a little anti Semitic of you to say that.
Matan
I'm saying a guy who was extremely Jewish looks Jewish in their 40s when he's like having the bald thing.
Julian
24 right there.
Danny
Oh, really?
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
He doesn't look 24.
Julian
He doesn't look 24. I'll agree with you there.
Matan
That's 24 right there. What did he do? You said he did something bad there.
Julian
Yeah, he was a teacher and he would go the parties with the students.
Matan
That's bad. Can have a little fun.
Julian
They were underage, so it's not great.
Matan
You just Said he went to Dalton, which sounds like he taught at Dalton.
Julian
That's when he's a teacher.
Matan
That sounds like a college. That sounds like a college.
Julian
Dalton is a high school.
Matan
Oh, it's still not that.
Julian
You know who the principal at Dalton was?
Danny
No.
Matan
Dalton.
Julian
I'm actually surprised you don't know that.
Matan
Who is it?
Julian
You remember Bill Barr, the Attorney General?
Matan
Maybe.
Danny
Why?
Julian
Okay. His dad. His dad was the principal there.
Matan
This is part of a conspiracy, I'm sure.
Julian
Oh, it's got to be. I mean, there's all kinds of pieces to this thing.
Matan
Yeah.
Julian
Did he ever tell you officially who he worked for when you were born to him?
Matan
Who, Epstein?
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
No, he was denying that he was even Epstein. He was saying, oh, no, I'm Palm Beach Pete. I live in Palm beach now.
Julian
So you really think that Palm beach paint is Epstein? Yeah.
Matan
Impression.
Julian
What made that was Palm beach be.
Matan
I thought it was like, Joshua Block. What?
Julian
What made you think that?
Matan
That he looks like him. They will grow up in the same place. They then move to the same place. And they're also about the same age. And it's also.
Julian
He's, like, three, four years younger than Epstein would be.
Matan
Yeah, but that's, like, really impossible to prove. Sort of, right? I mean, how is he gonna prove that he's not 74 instead of 71 or whatever?
Danny
We do.
Julian
We. I mean, we got to get that DNA test that they're holding back.
Matan
We gotta get OR one that he's just lying about taking.
Julian
I mean, I think he very well.
Matan
So the DNA test, as I said to him, doesn't prove anything. He could get that tampered with extremely easily.
Julian

Julian
it was very interesting that he said his one time in Israel he played against the head of Mossad. That was, that was enlightening for me.
Matan
Even more interesting, he said that he took the one free day he had and he went to the the Wailing Wall.
Julian
Have you ever been there? No. Why not?
Matan
Why haven't I been to the Wailing Wall?
Julian
You're Jewish. You're supposed to go.
Matan
No, I'm German.
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
What are you.
Matan
You look like a skateboarder. You look like the guy that Conor McGregor was insulting for like a 40 year old retired.
Julian
That means you can't pinpoint. Pinpoint me. I can no guess my ethnicity. I'll even. There's like 10 in there that I don't even know.
Matan
Well, I was just gonna say white. You're asking me to guess what type of white? Because you're clearly just white.
Julian
But emanating from where? Give you a hint. I. I don't think I really had any family whatsoever in the tree here before the year 1900 or maybe like 1890.
Matan
In America.
Julian
Yeah, in America, I'm. I'm a spawn of immigrants.
Matan
I would have said Italian, but obviously that doesn't seem likely after that.
Julian
Well, you know, the Italian face didn't happen for sure, but I got the. I got the half Italian, half Irish.
Matan
So I was right. Yeah, I was actually about to say Irish after that. Guess.
Julian
Yeah, I got the Irish looks.
Matan
Yeah. So what do you mean? I can't pinpoint you. I just did it perfectly.
Julian
Yeah, but you didn't before. I had to give you a bunch of hints.
Matan
A bunch of hints? Like what? A bunch of hints that actually made.
Julian
You shouldn't have to give someone who
Matan
has a. I didn't ask you for any hints. You started giving me hints.
Julian
Yeah, but I felt bad because you were way off.
Matan
I was way off? You said Italian.
Julian
No, that was before.
Matan
What did I say before?
Sponsor/Ad Voice
White.
Julian
Before that even.
Matan
And what did I say then?
Julian
Skateboarder.
Matan
You look like one. I didn't say you wore one. I said you look like the guy that Conor McGregor insulted.
Julian
Which guy was that? He's sold him up.
Matan
Look up. 40 year old retired skateboarder.
Julian
40 year old retired skateboard. Is this Tony Hawk? No, no. You know Tony Hawk, right?
Matan
Yeah, I met him.
Julian
How's he?
Matan
Nice guy.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
This guy doesn't you. Don't you look kind of like him?
Julian
Yeah, I could see it. That's the first. I don't know who it is, but yeah, I could see that for sure.
Matan
That's Uriah Faber.
Julian
Yeah. I like fitted hats.
Matan
The ufc, that's the difference.
Julian
Unless I'm wearing a forward. If I'm wearing a forward hat, I won't wear a fitted. Sometimes I like fitted hats.
Danny
Yeah.
Matan
Yeah. But you know that you look exactly like him, right?
Julian
I think I look similar. Yeah, I think that's a good.
Matan
You look a lot more like him than I look like Epstein.
Julian
I don't know about that.
Matan
I don't even think I look like Epstein. Is it?
Julian
You never thought it even so when you were talking.
Matan
I want to do like a Jewish trick and start just saying anti Semitic. Anti Semitic. I'm being attacked on the train. Police.
Danny
Police. Police.
Julian
Who is this guy?
Matan
He's a ufc. I don't know if he was a champ. I might have been a champ.
Julian
Right. So you really think Palm Beach Pete is Epstein?
Matan
Yeah, I think so. I think it's likely. It's a great trick he's doing.
Julian
How are the teeth looking with him?
Matan
Oh, I thought you said I had something on my mouth.
Julian
No, no, you're good. You're clean. You got a lot of Lysol. You're clean. But, like, his. You ever seen people break down, like, his teeth and Epstein's teeth?
Matan
Yeah, I don't really think that means anything. I did see a video where they say they look similar, but to me, that's almost irrelevant, because an operation that big where Epstein is coming back is like a planted meme. You'd think that he would consider making the teeth look different if he thought that was an important factor.
Julian
All right, so this is just me, but, like, if I went. Let's say I were Jeffrey Epstein back in the year 2019, and I had to go get, like, a face transplant, you know, we're gonna fake my death and all that. I would definitely. Not that I know how face transplant surgery works.
Matan
Transplant?
Julian
I don't think that's like, I hear it's a thing with the elites, and you never know these days.
Matan
Well, you're schizophrenic, so you believe anything you hear from, like, the crazy idiots you have on your show.
Julian
Hold on.
Matan
A face transplant?
Julian
Hold on a minute. Are you an idiot because you think Palm Beach Pete is Epstein, which would require him to have had a face
Matan
transplant because he has this same plane with your face?
Julian
It's not the same face.
Matan
What are you, an idiot? What are you talking.
Julian
No. Can we pull up.
Matan
Get a face transplant to implant what? The same face? What are you talking.
Julian
That's my point. I would have gone there and said, make me Asian. Make me something totally different.
Matan
Yeah, well, I don't think a face transplant exists. You would have said, hey, insert me into a video game.
Julian
You never seen the movie Face Off? That was back in the 1990s.
Matan
The same. What do you mean, a face transplant? They're not.
Julian
They're. They're similar. They're not the same.
Matan
They're identical.
Julian
They're not.
Matan
That's just dude. That's just him when he's older. What's that photo from a Epstein? Like, that's an older photo of him when it. And when they claim he died. The latest it could even be from is, like, 2019. That looks exactly like that guy, but, like, years older, which is exactly.
Julian
Ever seen Jeffrey Epstein's gums and teeth? No, I wouldn't recommend it, but they're way different than. Can I see it on the top side yeah. Can we do Jeffrey Epstein smiling? Also the way that the eyes sit way softer on Pond.
Matan
He's older.
Julian
No, that's not.
Matan
Some pretty fucking cool teeth.
Julian
That's a meme. Those are memes. Type in Epstein TRUMP 1992. Did you ever meet Donald back in the day with Jeff? You never did.
Matan
Back in the day, yeah. Even if I was related to Epstein, like your joke is implying. How old do you think I am? I'm 19 years old.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
1992, you know.
Julian
Yeah. You're born in 07.
Matan
That's 15 years before I was even born.
Julian
Right, well, this is before. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. They're a lot younger here. I don't know if I can see on the video. You can see him smiling. His teeth are very small and he's got, like, big gums.
Matan
And unlike a face transplant teeth and reconstruction, you can actually exists.
Julian
But it's very.
Matan
That's the truth, by the way. That's not just some crazy. You heard from a schizophrenic guest you had on that thinks they're either being gang stalked because they were in the FBI, which they weren't.
Julian
Who was that?
Matan
I don't know. Probably like half of your guests.
Julian
Half of my guests, they thought they were in the FBI.
Danny
Yeah.
Matan
And they think now they're being gang stalked.
Julian
I don't think I've ever had anyone actually like, accused that of happening. That's a first. You're the first guest to bring that up.
Matan
What is.
Julian
What is stalking?
Matan
What is.
Julian
What is. That's just the production notes. It's like coffee. Do you have water? I didn't put Lysol on there.
Matan
You had to. You had to write that on a notepad to get you coffee and water?
Julian
Yes. It's like a little checklist just to make sure we got everything. Are the cameras turned on? Are they in right focus? No, they're not. All right, Danny, we're gonna have to go. We have to go fix that because now he took out the. We make that like F6. F6 or something. That's like a little close for people. Don't. Don't implant your bugs in there. Is he really going to turn this off? Like, I'm waiting for it to go black because he just did something to it. What's crazy is you walk through the door and you were the nicest guy, and then you said, can I go take a shit? And five minutes later you walk out with Lysol with this, like, you know, Kim Jong Un look thing.
Matan
No, I wasn't I was just peeing. But then I looked, I was like, this guy has all these items that I.
Julian
That's right. So that if something happens, someone can spray it without being embarrassed. And now they can. If one of your guys takes a shit and it like goes upper decker and all that, they got nothing to clean it up with, thanks to you.
Matan
I much prefer they shit all over your bathroom. You think I prefer they make your bathroom smell good. If I could convince them to do it, which I probably could. And you just gave me a great idea.
Julian
I thought you were a nice guy.
Matan
You should apologize to the Nectar guest show.
Julian
I. I hope I'll clean it up before they come.
Matan
I'm gonna have them on the floor in the bathroom. That's actually a great prank idea.
Julian
So like, did you just sit in your house one day and look for fashion influence and like pull up a bunch of pictures and land on Kim Jong Un and say, you know what, maybe not the hairstyle, but that's the look.
Matan
No, you know, I just. I had this suit and you know, I grew up in the projects.
Julian
You grew up in the projects?
Matan
I don't even know what the projects are, so I can't really continue.
Julian
Okay, so that was a lie.
Matan
Yeah. Yeah. That line of lying isn't going to get very far. Right? I don't even know where the projects are located or if the projects are just an idea of a poor place, which. Is that what it is?
Danny
No, they're.
Julian
They're like a real place.
Matan
You look like you. You definitely don't know what the projects are.
Julian
I did not grow up in the project. So no, I do not like that
Matan
you think you're better than me because I didn't grow up or. What am I talking about? Well, where are we?
Julian
I think I'm better than you.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah, you do.
Julian
No, I don't. I invited you here after you asked to. Come on. I already got rid of that coffee.
Matan
That's a wasted one.
Julian
Yeah, it's already done. It's already it already on it. It's hidden away. I put it in the compartment so you can't get it.
Matan
Am I getting close?
Julian
You're getting a little too close to the board. And if you wet it, you gotta buy it.
Matan
What board? The road caster. Yeah, I don't think that's how road
Julian
cast is a pretty penny.
Matan
They're like 400 bucks.
Julian
No, I don't remember what it is actually. We bought everything all at once last summer, me and Dave.
Matan
You took out a loan?
Julian
No, but they actually, they ID'd me at B H. They pulled security in. They're like, there's no way this guy is buying.
Matan
You bought it at bh?
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
You're a fool.
Julian
Why am I a fool?
Matan
You should have bought it from Amazon and then bought a bunch of broken ones. Or just found broken ones and then returned them to Amazon. No, that's what I did.
Julian
That's what you did.
Matan
How do you think my production quality got so much better in the last two years?
Julian
Kind of shitty. That's the whole point.
Matan
You should see how it was at the beginning. The cameras barely even focus.
Julian
They were like 360 at the beginning.
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
Yeah. Now they're 1080. That's good.
Matan
Another 1080, at least.
Julian
Don't go too far, because that's like the stick. The stick is like. It's, like, far.
Matan
Well, I'm not playing a character or doing a shtick, so whatever.
Julian
You're not playing a character.
Matan
You think I'm playing a character?
Julian
I think you're playing a character.
Matan
No, I hope you're playing one or you're fucked.
Julian
Why am I.
Matan
Leave it at that.
Julian
You can't just say something like that and leave it at that. If you're gonna insult, I can't. It's intriguing if he asks you the
Matan
reason the insult is, like, so obvious to understand that. It's like me continuing forward just makes it less funny. That's. Why did I have to explain that to you? Was that funny? I'll punish your guy over there.
Julian
With what? Lysol.
Danny
Ah.
Julian
He was dirty. He needed it.
Matan
Helping you on a show that gets at least a hundred viewers.
Julian
At least a hundred. Yeah. Yeah.
Matan
What do you.
Julian
What are you gonna do with that plunger? I literally just had to use that the other day.
Matan
That's not a plunger.
Julian
That is a plunger that says something
Matan
on the floor I found in the bathroom next to the toilet.
Julian
I'll tell you what. Why don't you check out the bottom of that right there?
Matan
See if I'm not gonna touch the bottom. Do you think I touched the bottom when I brought it here?
Julian
I think it might have. No,
Matan
I like that on the floor idea when I go on somebody's show, though. That was great. Do I have to credit you for that?
Julian
No, you can credit the Mossad. That's what they do.
Matan
You're the Mossad.
Julian
I'm not the Mossad, but.
Matan
But you're the guy who always is interviewing, like, the crazy, schizophrenic people.
Julian
Like, who?
Matan
I don't know. Can we pull up?
Julian
I don't know. You get. You get guests from me, so I
Matan
get guests from you. What does that mean?
Julian
It means people are on my show, and then somehow they show up on the Ton show.
Matan
You're saying you book me guests?
Julian
I'm saying, you know, you're looking at the guest list and you're booking them. I'm not booking them for you. We never talked about booking you a guest.
Matan
So what even. Are you implying that I see guests?
Julian
I'm just implying that maybe some of the same, like, people that you're implying are schizo. You actually then selfishly bring on your show and claim they're not schizo.
Matan
No, no. I'll bring them on my show and then think they're schizo and then make them real crazy.
Julian
Make them real crazy.
Matan
You're interacting with them like they're normal.
Julian
They are normal because they're not schizo.
Matan
Anyways, let's move on skating.
Julian
You want to move on?
Matan
Yeah, we're just talking.
Julian
What are you moving on to shampoo now? Is that. Yeah, yeah. That's a Purple heart that was given to me by a World War II veteran.
Matan
What?
Julian
And he's dead now. He just sprayed on it.
Matan
Where's the Purple Heart?
Julian
Right there.
Matan
Is it purple? Because it's not working anymore. His heart?
Julian
No, he earned it in Germany, actually.
Matan
Fighting the Germans.
Julian
That's right.
Matan
Well, him then. Maybe That's a little far.
Julian
I was gonna say he's dead.
Matan
Are you joking, though? I feel like you're kidding.
Julian
I'm not kidding.
Matan
Oh, really? He died fighting the Germans?
Julian
No, he died earlier this year at age 101, I think.
Matan
Why would he give you his purple heart?
Julian
It's.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
It.
Julian
It's not the actual one. It's.
Matan
Okay. Well, now I don't care anymore. That's it. Give you a replica. You have, like, a fake gold piece of. Right there.
Julian
Smells good. Now I'll give you.
Matan
I have also things from people who died.
Danny
Who.
Julian
Like what?
Matan
Just, like, couches that they left outside their house.
Julian
Couch. Did they leave them there, or is that where they lived?
Matan
Would they have no use for them? And when you leave a couch outside your house, the general idea is that somebody can come take it.
Julian
Die on the couch outside.
Matan
How would I know that? What are you talking about?
Julian
I don't know.
Matan
Maybe. How would I know something like that?
Julian
If it's a friend, that happens sometimes, you know, do it.
Matan
Well, if it was a friend, I wouldn't have to get the couch from outside the house. I'd go in the house and take what's mine.
Julian
So you look for couches on the street. That's.
Matan
Sometimes I'll come by them and if the couch looks nice and doesn't have that many bugs on it, I'll take it.
Julian
Right, but what makes a couch look nice on the street?
Matan
Like, if it looks like I could maybe resell it.
Julian
Resell it?
Matan
Maybe there's a funny lamp on Amazon.
Julian
On Amazon?
Matan
Yes.
Julian
Don't you have to pass, like, certain standards there with, like, couches to actually be able to sell it? I feel like they don't want musty, like, street couches. No. I'll get you some bad reviews.
Matan
Okay, so what? I saw a video where this guy explained. He goes on Amazon, he sells somebody a camera. He doesn't have the camera. He then messages the guy who paid 6,000 bucks for a camera. He says, the camera has been delayed. Sorry about that. You can either cancel the order or I'll give you a 500 gift card while we wait. He then gives him a 500 gift card. He delays it again past 60 days. He gets the money into his account. He's in a different country. He shuts the account down. $6,000 for 500 bucks.
Julian
That's what you're trying to do.
Matan
And the only guy who loses money is Amazon, because the guy will get his money back from Amazon. That guy just effectively stole six grand from Amazon. Five and a half. Really?
Julian
And actually.
Matan
Okay, did you hear what I just described? It's beyond morally. Okay. It's like. It's like dancing great. I don't even know how.
Julian
Dancing great.
Matan
It's amazing.
Julian
It's exciting. Yeah.
Matan
Imagine the rush you would have after just fleecing Amazon for six grand.
Julian
It's like you and. Right out of Jeff Bezos mouth.
Matan
Yeah. And he doesn't need it.
Julian
He doesn't need it. You're right.
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
Yeah. But he does need cranes to get furniture into his house. I don't think he's getting the street couches, though.
Matan
Exactly. Yeah, well, that's just because he. He has so much money that he now. Oh, wow. Look what happened to his shirt.
Julian
Yeah, you ruined. Literally has stains on it.
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
Pull that in. This was a black shirt.
Danny
Can you get that?
Julian
You sprayed Lysol on it and now it has stains on it like he pooped himself. Yeah. Yeah. Grab that. Yeah, right there.
Matan
Zoom in.
Danny
Much more doesn't. Zoom in. No.
Julian
Yeah.
Danny
We're gonna have to. We'll figure it out. I'll go do that.
Julian
I hope thief knows the settings.
Matan
I feel bad now. I didn't mean to ruin your shirt.
Julian
No, it's okay.
Danny
It's fine.
Julian
But now he my dirty black shirt. So now he can get paid for being here today. Look at that. You solve the problem.
Matan
You're gonna buy him a new one.
Julian
No, you just said you are. So he's getting paid.
Matan
Did that really stain it like that?
Julian
Yes. That works. Yes. It's all purpose cleaner. And sometimes the cleaner goes the other way.
Danny
It's like a. You know.
Julian
Yeah, it's. Yeah. When it comes to cleaning, it's bisexual
Matan
himself away from me.
Danny
Yeah. I just. Myself on my arms, you know.
Julian
That's right.
Danny
Yeah.
Matan
You're an idiot.
Julian
He's actually the editor.
Matan
How do you even manage to do that, you weirdo?
Danny
Yo. I don't know. I. I surprised myself.
Matan
You're the editor who does other stuff besides editing, but only gets paid for editing. Sounds like a pretty bad job.
Julian
I give him a lot of raises.
Matan
How much do you pay him for editing?
Julian
Don't worry about it.
Matan
I'm worried about it. I'm actually very concerned.
Julian
A lot of money.
Matan
Well, you.
Julian
Yeah, yeah, he's gonna.
Matan
You're only getting a new shirt because I ruined yours.
Julian
Does he look like he's missing any meals?
Matan
No.
Julian
That's right.
Matan
You see how many fat homeless people there are?
Julian
Well, you got a really skinny crackhead homeless guy out there.
Matan
Yeah, they're skinny ones too. But I don't think the concern with homeless people is food. That's why whenever they ask for money for food, they're either lying and they want it for drugs or I just don't care. Because you just don't care.
Julian
You just walk right by.
Matan
You could go to 711 right now and get two donuts for $2 and a Big Gulp for 59 cents. Right.
Julian
So do you.
Matan
What is that, like 900 calories for $2.50?
Julian
That's right.
Matan
Okay. And then realistically, you could just keep refilling the Big Gulp.
Julian
That's right. We're the first society, as far as I know. Maybe someone out there can correct me in human history where we have a problem with obesity in, like, the less money you have.
Matan
Yeah.
Julian
Kind of crazy. You think that's the plan, but you
Matan
were saying that is a. Is to represent that you pay him enough, and now you've proven that you don't.
Julian
But I know he eats premium foods.
Matan
Where's the most expensive food? It's like that healthy from Erawhan. Right.
Julian
And that's what he eats a lot.
Matan
Clearly, he's not eating that. Clearly he's eating the cheap from McDonald's.
Julian
No, he just. He's got big appetite.
Matan
You're just eating a ton of healthy food. Yeah.
Julian
You have enough of those protein bars, bro. You could be for days and you know, it still stays in your system.
Matan
Doesn't look like he's eating protein bars.
Julian
He's like, listen, he can. He can throw around some weight.
Matan
What did you buy him? What did you bring him? Dunkin Donuts?
Julian
No, that's just coffee. There was no food product there.
Matan
I'm sure.
Julian
Yeah, look, it's coffee now. Has Lysol in it, thanks to you.
Matan
Anyways, we'll move on. I don't want to. I don't like doing fat shaming on your producer.
Julian
We'll move on. That's okay.
Matan
I feel bad. I don't know him well enough to do this. And you're in a position of power
Julian
over him and it's uncomfortable enough to spray him with Lysol?
Danny
Yes, sir.
Matan
Well, I didn't know it was going to ruin his shirt. And by the way, it's even more uncomfortable because you're in a position of power over him. His entire livelihood depends on you. You. Is he going to confront you? He's going to tell you after the show, like, hey, man, I didn't really like that you made fat jokes about me on that show. We did. No, he's gonna pretend it's funny.
Julian
Nah, Danny's a sweetheart. He can take it.
Danny
Yeah. No, this is great.
Julian
That's right.
Matan
I feel so bad for this.
Danny
He's.
Julian
He's. He has produced two podcasts as a fill in stu Finer. And you.
Matan
You better start eating better, though, or you're gonna have a purple Heart.
Danny
I would be honored. I would be honored to have a purple Heart, you know?
Matan
Yeah, you're on the way there. You'll be there soon. You'll be honored soon.
Danny
So, like, that it could sit on Julian's desk and, you know, you can just like, spray the liquid onto my purple heart.
Matan
There'll be so many people honoring you.
Danny
Yeah, I'm sure there will be. I hope so. I hope so.
Matan
Yeah. It's like, oh, that's that idiot that wanted the purple Heart. Not even gonna pay my respects.
Julian
It's a good way to go out.
Matan
No, it's not. It's maybe the worst way to go out.
Julian
Why is it the worst way?
Matan
Just a fat piece of dying of heart problems. It's the worst. Most Egregious way to go out ever. Completely pathetic.
Julian
When did you know you were funny?
Matan
I don't believe I'm that funny. I'm not laughing at anything. Well, is that an insult?
Julian
No.
Matan
You're saying I'm funny or you're laughing, you're laughing at me or anything.
Julian
I'm not laughing at you. I'm laughing with you, but I'm not laughing. That's it. By the way, it's a sign of intelligence.
Matan
Yeah, well, I know, but I'm not laughing. So you're not really laughing with me, right?
Julian
Yeah, I'm laughing with the actions that you're taking. I'm not laughing at you.
Matan
That kind of means laughing. Yeah. No, but you're laughing.
Julian
Laughing at someone is laughing at them for existing in a way that they don't intend to exist.
Matan
You're explaining it bad, but I get the general idea, so whatever. I'm not going to pretend that you're explaining it so bad to the point I don't understand. Whatever. I get it. You're not laughing at me. You're laughing at my mad. Me, but in a different way. Whatever.
Julian
Right.
Danny
Okay.
Julian
So you don't think you're funny?
Matan
I'm. I just don't view it that way. It's just not my concern.
Julian
Was your dream to be a content creator, making people laugh?
Matan
No, it just kind of happened. I mean, if you look at, like, where I started, Hong Kong. Well, that's true, but there was a big break after that, and that certainly wasn't.
Julian
Do you actually know Bill Clinton?
Matan
Do I know him? No, I've never met him, actually.
Julian
Why'd you call him as rabbi in front of the international audience?
Matan
I've done that. Going over that too many times to do it again. But I'm saying I mentioned. I was referencing that when I said where it started, but you're right to correct me. You have it also written on.
Julian
On a mug?
Danny
Yeah.
Matan
Why?
Julian
I always write something on the mug before someone comes here. Whatever comes to mind. Huh.
Matan
You erase it?
Julian
Yeah, it comes right off. Don't even need Lysol. It's right in the sink. Been doing it since.
Matan
Kind of like how they're trying to erase all of his good deeds from the history book.
Julian
Oh, so you think Jeffrey Epstein did good deeds?
Danny
Yes, he did.
Julian
What? What made him good?
Matan
How many people covered his mouth?
Julian
He had trouble not laughing at that.
Matan
No, I swear. I'm just scratching my face. I'm not laughing at that at all.
Julian
Lysol on your face?
Matan
Nobody's a little stuffy now in this room.
Julian
Little stuffy in this room.
Matan
How many people went to his island?
Julian
How it's stuffy, huh? The AC is on 65. I don't know how it's stuffy.
Matan
I just sprayed cleaner all over the room.
Julian
While you sprayed cleaner all over the room. And maybe you're also dressed like you're gonna fucking invade a country that has a temperature at zero.
Matan
I would be interested in invading a country if I had the prospect to do it, especially if the guys were idiots and didn't know how to defend themselves. How can you get mad at somebody for invading somebody else?
Julian
What's a good recent invasion that happened? Let's start there.
Matan
That's actually a good point. I mean, have there been that many recently?
Julian
I mean, there's. There's been a few.
Matan
I can only think of, like, two, sort of. One of them is not really an invasion, is kind of just like a mass killing.
Julian
Yeah. Where that started with an invading.
Matan
It's not really that recent, though. I guess it depends what you mean by recent.
Julian
I'm talking the last five, five, six, seven years.
Matan
Been a couple.
Julian
Big ones.
Matan
I'm talking about Israel.
Julian
Yeah, I know.
Matan
They haven't really been invading them recently. They've just been killing all of the Palestinians, right? Yeah. They already took over the land, like, 80 years ago. I guess the most recent thing that I'd call strictly an invasion would be kind of the Ukraine one. Not really.
Julian
Yeah, that's the other one.
Matan
Not unlike that one.
Julian
That's still happening.
Matan
Yeah, but nobody hears about it anymore. We've moved on.
Julian
We've moved on. People are dying. Their families can't move on.
Matan
I don't want to hear about it anymore.
Julian
Why don't you want to hear about it? I'm bored.
Matan
I'm bored. I want to.
Julian
Bored of people dying on the streets.
Matan
Too many of the same people die. You want to move on. You want somebody else? You want some other type of people to die?
Julian
What types of people to die?
Matan
Not Ukrainians, because we already.
Julian
Oh, yeah, but they're still dying. You can't just, like, move on mentally and they stop dying. They're still dying.
Matan
I've moved on mentally.
Julian
You've moved on mentally? Yeah.
Matan
I don't even think about it.
Julian
You don't think about them at all?
Matan
Nope.
Julian
It's below your. Below your bar.
Matan
I thought about them, and then I was like, oh, is this gonna end soon? Then I was like, holy, this isn't ending soon. And then Trump said he was going to end it in one day, and
Julian
then it didn't end and.
Matan
No, and then it ended.
Julian
It didn't end.
Matan
Yes, it did.
Julian
Can we pull up casualties in the Ukraine, Russia war over the past two, three months, something like that? Danny, it's very much still happening. People are dying.
Matan
No, Trump ended the war.
Julian
He did not end the war.
Matan
Ended what? On January, probably 8th, 2025.
Julian
January. No, no, no. He wasn't in office yet. That's bullshit.
Matan
Wasn't that when he got.
Danny
No.
Julian
What was it he got in office? It was like the 20th or 21st one of those.
Matan
So then he ended on that day.
Julian
So he ended it. It just went away because he walked into office. But they didn't even fight with Zelensky yet in the Oval Office at that point.
Matan
He's reading an article, right?
Julian
Yeah. That's what we do here. We got to make sure we have a good source. So just go back. Go. Go back to Google, Danny, and type in the Google AI. How many casualties have happened in Ukraine
Matan
in the last three months? To ask Rock as pbd.
Julian
To ask Rock,
Matan
have the PBD podcast had. In the last six months, how many what casualties have the PBD podcast?
Julian
They've had at least one. Yeah, and I think that happened a couple times. So 2. How many casualties have been in the Ukraine war in the past three months? An estimated 100,000 to 110,000 total casualties, which is not just killed, it's also injured and stuff like that. But to you, this doesn't exist. It's not like you just moved on.
Matan
Yeah, but Russian military casualties, it says, is a hundred thousand of it.
Julian
Yeah, can't really call still people dying.
Matan
Civilian. 8,000. That five or eight. 5,000.
Julian
5,000. Verified.
Matan
Yeah. Yeah, it's. It's. The war has been going on for so long that if I was to still be like, yeah, I want to get riled up about it, those numbers would have to be switched.
Julian
Have you thought about going over there to fight?
Matan
To fight for who?
Julian
I don't know. Pick a side.
Matan
Just fight for something I don't even give a about and die.
Julian
Maybe not die if you're a good fighter.
Matan
So my legacy can be giving an idiot like you a little fake medal to honor me?
Julian
Well, he was alive when he gave it to me. He lived.
Matan
Okay.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
So my legacy won't even get that far?
Julian
No. Well, if you die, I'll be a
Matan
complete idiot on the Internet for, like, three weeks until people forget about me. There'll be like, an article this dumbass podcaster went to Russia and died fighting and did nothing. He affected nothing.
Julian
Wouldn't affect anything. I feel like that might make a little ripple.
Matan
You'd make a ripple among what?
Julian
I don't know. The butterfly effect of life?
Matan
No, I don't think so. I don't think I'll have that.
Julian
No, you don't think. You don't think Putin would be moved that Matan the podcaster died?
Matan
I don't think he'd even hear about it.
Julian
I think he'd hear about it.
Matan
He may hear about it, and if he does, he'll probably just laugh and be like, what an idiot.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
What a waste of his life.
Julian
He might do that.
Matan
That would be all.
Julian
You might be right about that.
Matan
Yeah.
Julian
But you just forgot it, even though the war still happened, and you just.
Matan
Are you constantly thinking about, like, wars that have been going on for half a decade now?
Julian
Yeah. All right, well, I don't admit I do.
Matan
I don't. And not because I don't care about civilians dying.
Julian
But you say you don't care. You move on. I believe your exact words where I don't. I stopped caring.
Matan
I stopped.
Danny
Like.
Matan
I check out. I mean. You know what I mean?
Julian
Check out.
Matan
I'm still sad, I guess, that civilians are dying, but I'm gonna be concerned every second. I'll be crazy all day, all time.
Julian
Yeah. Every second successive. Yeah, I. I agree with that.
Matan
Somebody's dying every second.
Julian
Yeah. Do you use substances to help you check out, or do you just.
Matan
No, I've actually never been intoxicated.
Julian
Never.
Matan
I'm not joking.
Julian
I've never had any alcohol.
Matan
Never had any alcohol.
Julian
What made you not do that?
Matan
Okay, well, for one, I'm 19.
Julian
I mean, that never stopped anyone before.
Matan
Yeah. Well, I was gonna say, I guess that's a contributing factor, because it's not like. It's a little harder to get it, like, 13 than it is at 18.
Julian
What's the drinking age in Israel? Can we check that out?
Matan
It's probably, like, seven. Seven for Arabs, 21 for Jews. No, it's actually 18 across the board.
Julian
Across the board, it looks like.
Matan
Shocker.
Julian
Yeah. So you. You're of age there. So when you go visit hq, you don't tie one back.
Matan
It would be more grueling process to go fly to Israel to have a beer. Then I could just probably steal one from.
Julian
Yeah, but when they call you back for, like, a meeting or, you know, like to go through intelligence and stuff, like, you already got to be there when in Rome or Tel Aviv.
Matan
Right. Or doing the stupid. Whatever.
Julian
You think it's stupid. Stupid enough to throw that? It's that conditioner.
Matan
You tell me.
Julian
I don't know. Yeah, it is conditioner.
Matan
No, but no, I've never been intoxicated.
Julian
It's got. Oh, no, that's Lysol.
Matan
I'm very, very anti weed.
Julian
Very. What made you anti weed?
Matan
That. It makes all these people bums. I'm pro. Other people smoking weed.
Julian
Why other people but not you?
Matan
Because I don't want to be a senseless bum.
Julian
Right. So why are you okay with other people doing that if they become senseless bums?
Matan
Because it makes it easier to manipulate them.
Julian
Also, can you stop take a. Ripping apart my. My microphone?
Matan
No, I cannot.
Julian
Why?
Matan
Because it's fun and I've had to start asking the question, so.
Julian
Yeah, no, that's what happens. We flip it around on you.
Matan
Or you just weren't prepared because we only did listen.
Julian
There's no way to prepare for you. There's. It's just not, you know, it's a hurricane. I mean, your hair looks like a hurricane. You're on brand the whole way. Yeah, that's. That's not.
Matan
I'm kind of using it like a.
Julian
What kind of autism is this? Like.
Matan
No, I. I'm not autistic. That's actually a big insult. I think those people are either dumb or evil.
Julian
You think artists are dumb? You think Elon Musk is dumb?
Matan
In some ways, definitely. Yes.
Julian
Maybe like socially, but like IQ wise, I feel like he's kind of.
Matan
I mean, but like socially, he has the social intelligence of maybe a slightly dumb African Grey parrot.
Julian
African gray Parrot from. I. You know what? From a social intelligence standpoint, you might be cooking there.
Matan
Okay, so that's my point. So, okay, whenever people ask me, because they always say they think like I'm autistic or whatever, that actually is where I get offended.
Julian
You get offended by that?
Matan
Pretty. I don't like that.
Julian
Yeah, it's pretty big compliment then.
Matan
I'm autistic.
Julian
Yeah. What sign a high intelligence? Maybe that gray parrot for like social intelligence. But you seem to be doing okay.
Matan
I don't. I don't know if autistic people on average are higher intelligence.
Julian
Depends on where. It depends where they are on the spectrum.
Matan
Jamie, can you look that up?
Julian
Jamie? His name's Danny. Yeah, and actually, if you listen.
Matan
Are autistic people smarter?
Julian
Yes, you're gonna look that up.
Matan
Are autistic people smarter? And what's their fascination with ripping apart Small bugs when they are children, Right?
Julian
Ripping apart small bugs?
Danny
Yes.
Julian
You ripped apart my microphone.
Matan
Yeah, but this isn't a living being.
Julian
What if it is and we just haven't gotten that higher power of consciousness yet?
Matan
Okay, well then that wouldn't reflect anything on me because I didn't know it, you dumb idiot.
Julian
Didn't know it at the time.
Matan
Autism does not dictate a person's intelligence. Autistic people display the full spectrum of cognitive.
Julian
That's right. So it depends. That's why I said it depends where you are on the spectrum.
Matan
All right, what's the point about the small bugs? Go down?
Danny
Yeah, sure.
Julian
Okay, this is.
Danny
This is the end of the page.
Julian
The behavior is not meant to be malicious or cruel. For many is simply a hyper.
Matan
It just has to say that it's definitely meant to be malicious and cruel.
Julian
You think so?
Matan
Look how powerful I am. Look at all the organs in this small worm and this rat that I ripped apart. Maybe I'm by the way, a four year old. I should be sent to a room for my life.
Julian
Have you ever killed something living?
Matan
Yes. Small bugs when I was a kid, I used to rip them apart. I used to show them to people. I'd say, look how powerful I am.
Julian
Right?
Matan
This is the sign of a normal person, not an upand cominging serial killer and rapist.
Julian
Right? I wasn't accusing you of that though.
Matan
I'm accusing that of the people who do this to bugs.
Julian
But you just said you did that.
Matan
Well, that was a joke, you idiot. Maybe you're autistic or something.
Julian
Might have been nicked. You never know. I feel like a lot of us get nicked these days.
Danny
What?
Julian
What are you reading?
Matan
Autistic individuals can enter a state of deep focus when studying intricate small scale details. You see, that's exactly what I mean. They're trying to like figure out why the bug is like that, right? Why do we need to know that? We already know. They need to know that.
Julian
If you know what small life looks like, maybe it can affect large life in the future. I don't know. I didn't rip apart bugs when I was go.
Matan
Look, I don't know if you can find it. I don't know what the year was, but if there's like videos of Jeffrey Dmer and Charles Manson, etc. Etc. Like talking, I'm sure you would not come to the conclusion that they weren't autistic.
Julian
That wouldn't be an out though, to do what they did. That's a. That's not. That's.
Matan
That's why I'm saying autistic people are evil. You think it stops. You think it stops its small bugs. Did you not get where I was going with that?
Julian
I mean, I see where you're going now, but that's like a really dark thought.
Matan
Matan, what do you think is like the common association with people who kill animals when they're young? It's obviously that they're much more likely to become serial killers. And if even Google will try to make it sound all nice and say that autistic people are hyper focused and want to kill small bugs and rip them apart, then there you go.
Julian
Have you ever talked with a serial killer?
Matan
Probably not that I would know of. Right, right.
Julian
Well, I don't know if you, like, visit a prison and do the whole psychological thing. Feel like you'd be into that.
Matan
No, that seems like a waste of time. I don't think we should do prison systems. I think if somebody gets a long enough sentence regardless of what they did, we should just kill them and save some money and not do it in a way that's nice, because not doing
Julian
it in a way that's nice.
Matan
Way too much money to do the electric chair.
Julian
Right.
Matan
I think we should just hang them.
Julian
Just quick little. Yeah.
Matan
Or just like hire one really, really strong fighter who can just snap them like that. Yeah. I feel like it costs money that
Julian
would cost, you know, cost some money.
Matan
It would cost some money, but it would be probably less money to pay that guy per year than it would to do one electric chair.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
What is he doing now? Where are you going?
Julian
I. That's my secret to know. And you did not find out. He's just keep it. He's just here to keep you off balance. That's what he's here to do, you know?
Danny
Okay.
Julian
Are you comfortable?
Matan
I am completely comfortable. I'm dominating you in your own home.
Danny
Good.
Julian
That's fine. That's what I brought you here to do. Maybe I'm into that.
Matan
That sounds a little gay. I just want to clarify.
Julian
Hard pause. Just when did you find out you were gay? Owned me, huh?
Matan
No, I'm not.
Julian
You're not?
Matan
No.
Julian
So you do like women?
Matan
Yeah.
Julian
I wouldn't have pegged that for you.
Matan
You think I would be gay?
Julian
Yeah, I kind of thought so.
Matan
Interesting. After all the horrid things I said. Yeah, I guess that does coincide with gay.
Julian
Sort of sometimes. Depends. It depends. I've seen. I've seen projection before. I've seen projection before.
Matan
Projecting and I Like to kill bugs.
Julian
But I didn't say you were trans. Yeah, that's kind of. I think that's.
Matan
Different trends.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
Interesting. What else? What are some other topics? I feel like we've ran Our. Our thing with me saying really despicable things about autistic people.
Julian
Yeah, that. You know, we kind of got that.
Matan
That's. And I'm not even joking, by the way. What I'm saying is, like, probably actually just objectively true. I think people like killing small animals when they're young. That's just a trait that everybody knows coincides with killing people. Go look at a video of the serial killers. They're clear visually impaired otherwise.
Julian
Does that mean they're autistic, or are you just assuming that?
Matan
I was just guessing. Obvious. It's pretty obvious.
Julian
It's pretty obvious to you. What if it's another type of disorder that just shows itself in similar manifestations? I'm gonna need those later, by the way. So it's not.
Matan
Well, then you'll have to pay your. You'll have to send. Did I. What?
Julian
Okay. Yeah, just gotta make sure.
Matan
Can I bend it?
Julian
No, no, don't do that. Don't do that. I actually need that. I really need that.
Matan
Bendable.
Julian
Yeah. It's not bendable. Well, it is.
Matan
You're just not really needed. Right.
Julian
You don't really hit the gym much.
Matan
You could just buy another. Sure. Mic, steal those pieces and return it, and they would never know.
Julian
Yeah, they would never know. But, like, that mic is special to me. Yeah, a lot has happened on that mic.
Matan
You don't ever switch your mic.
Julian
Not that one.
Matan
Okay.
Julian
This one's been switched a couple times because, you know, I'm a little clumsy. But the guests are always better until you.
Matan
It's the first time something like this happened.
Julian
It's the first time.
Matan
All the Italian gangsters who pretend that they're not answers anymore.
Julian
Very respectful.
Matan
And also pretend that they're way, way cooler and more dangerous than they are. Don't usually rip apart your mic.
Julian
Most of them that come on podcasts are that way. You're right.
Danny
It.
Julian
Yeah, there's a lot of, like, fake lore, for sure.
Matan
Yes.
Julian
There's. Most of them are rats. I've had one guy that. That was not a rat.
Matan
So then how did he do your show?
Julian
Because he did his time and he left.
Matan
Interesting. Did you pay him?
Julian
No, I've never paid a guest in my life.
Danny
Interesting.
Julian
And I've never accepted money for someone to come on either.
Matan
Oh, people try to pay you to come on.
Julian
I've had people offer that I will not do that. It has to work both ways.
Matan
I don't really get that offer on my show. I think that it makes more sense for people to try to pay to get on yours because I feel like your audience is the type of people looking for answers to questions that don't exist.
Julian
And those are questions that don't exist. Well, clearly someone's asking them.
Matan
No, no, They're.
Julian
They're.
Matan
They're even looking for questions. Sometimes they're just looking for something. They're bored and they're on welfare and they need something to think about, so
Julian
they listen to Julian Dory podcast.
Matan
Yep.
Julian
You did some audience recognizance on me before you came here.
Matan
I'm just guessing based off your show and based off your. Your way of speaking and, you know.
Julian
My way of speaking?
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
So you think I'm retarded?
Matan
You could say that.
Julian
What led you to think I'm retarded?
Matan
Your way of speaking?
Julian
My. Just. Just that. Nothing else.
Matan
Those glasses contributed to it. It's like a douchebag. You know, you're not really.
Julian
That was kind of the idea. I didn't put them on until you sprayed Lysol on my table. Then I put them on.
Matan
Yeah, I know that you did that on purpose.
Julian
Yeah, absolutely.
Matan
Yeah, exactly. Even more of a douchebag.
Julian
You threw me off balance.
Matan
And you got back on balance by
Julian
seeing a little worse to rebalance it. You can't.
Matan
You're just coping. You're trying to make it seem like you're in control of the situation, but you're not.
Julian
I'm not in control of the situation. You've been in control since you got here.
Matan
Then don't pretend that those glasses have changed anything.
Julian
They've only changed the dynamic of you not understanding where I stand. Now, see, we gotta find that later. I'm gonna need that.
Matan
Tell me which hand it's in.
Danny
Him.
Julian
Your right hand.
Matan
All right.
Julian
I heard where that goes. I have an idea. We'll be able to get it.
Matan
I'll make this one much harder.
Julian
Okay, I. I saw where that landed. That's all right. That's going to be difficult to get.
Matan
That'll be good.
Julian
That one.
Matan
That was a good one. That was a good play on my end.
Julian
I'm going to have to. Have to stand on the table to get that.
Matan
That's a good play.
Julian
That was a good play, I'll give you that. That's a hard, good heart. I didn't see that. In you? Yeah. Anyways, I didn't see that kind of strength.
Matan
Any other topics?
Julian
Yeah. I also thought you were going to be way shorter, I'll give you that.
Matan
Really? People say that to me all the time. They think I'm short.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
No, I'm like five foot. Maybe like nine. Almost 10.
Julian
Maybe close to 11.
Matan
No, no, no. Now you just want to be taller than you are. Maybe I'm like five, eight and a half tall.
Julian
I'm not trying to be tall.
Matan
Am I taller than you? I don't know.
Julian
No.
Matan
No, I'm not.
Julian
No.
Matan
I don't remember standing next to you.
Julian
No, I did. I did stand next to you.
Matan
And we were.
Julian
I bent over a little bit. A little bit. And you were like right there.
Matan
Okay.
Julian
So it felt like 5, 10, 5, 11.
Matan
Because you want to say you're 6 foot.
Julian
No, I'm 6 foot one flat. No, I. I am.
Matan
Okay.
Danny
What?
Matan
Whatever. We have some better topics. And you lying about your height because.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
You feel emasculated.
Julian
Yeah. Do you want more water?
Matan
It may be in a bottle form.
Julian
In a bottle form? Why would you want to drink out of plastic? Just to give yourself cancer.
Matan
That's correct. You gotta go someday.
Julian
You're trying to get cancer.
Matan
I'm not trying to avoid it.
Julian
You're not trying to live forever? No. You haven't had on Brian Johnson on your show.
Matan
I think it's gonna. And this sounds real mean, but I think it'll be really funny when he gets in a car crash one day and his entire head explodes. Explodes. All for nothing.
Julian
What if they can bring him back by that point?
Matan
Yeah. Well, then they probably could have brought him back if he was dying due to microplastics, Right?
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
So then it was all for nothing anyways. What does he do? Doesn't he drink his son's blood?
Julian
That part's a little weird.
Matan
He's kind of just like a freak show clown.
Julian
Tell us how you really feel about him.
Matan
I just said it. I know, but I do respect him.
Julian
You respect them?
Matan
Yeah.
Julian
Why do you respect him?
Matan
Because he's a crazy fool. And those guys are usually very interesting and funny to talk to.
Julian
So you respect them for the ideas that you could have him on your show and it would be good. Content.
Matan
I'm just trying to not completely exit out the idea and possibility of him coming on my show. I think I just went too far with the head exploding.
Julian
That's all right.
Matan
And I think I just wiped out a guess for myself.
Julian
It's satire. I'll bet he'll come on after that. He'll see that.
Matan
You think it'll help?
Julian
I think it might help.
Matan
I think I'll send him a message. Brian Johnson, you'll be dead soon.
Julian
Okay. What? What do you think? What did you think of his response to the Epstein files and being in them?
Matan
Rian Johnson?
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
Was that true?
Julian
Yeah, I actually think he's. He's one of the people. It's. It really was innocent. I do believe that.
Matan
Are you joking or you're serious? He was in the Epstein files in
Julian
one email where he was then agreed to meet on a zoom with Jeffrey Epstein in 2017.
Matan
Innocent.
Julian
He did address it. He did address it and I actually, actually believed him.
Matan
Yeah, yeah, I see how he addressed it.
Julian
Yeah. Go to Brian Johnson Epstein email. He was a little way too over apologetic about it, like to the point of exaggeration.
Matan
It was in an Epstein email and he zoomed with him.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
So why didn't he mention that before it got.
Julian
That's the one thing. I agree. That's a great question.
Matan
And I know you were joking the whole time about me knowing Epstein, but I swear, if I wasn't joking, had met him. Well, then you're an idiot.
Julian
Why am I an idiot? You thought Palm Beach Pete was Epstein.
Matan
I think he is Epstein.
Julian
He's not Epstein.
Matan
Okay, well, if I had met Epstein, I would be bragging about it.
Julian
You'd be bragging?
Matan
If I could confirm it was and not through Palm Beach Pete.
Julian
Why would you be bragging about it?
Matan
Because that's awesome.
Julian
Why is it awesome?
Matan
Anything to do with Epstein is awesome. He's a cultural icon.
Julian
It's a cultural. So you think he's a good guy?
Matan
Dude, I see people in the streets wearing shirts of him, of his face.
Julian
I mean, people wear shirts at Che Guevara.
Matan
And to give context, they're wearing that because they're homeless. And I gave it to them and I told them to put it on. They weren't just doing it, but I'm starting the movement.
Julian
What was the island like?
Matan
I wish I had went.
Danny
Truly.
Matan
You wish you'd went to just see it? It's like a historical place. No, hopefully not to be raped by a bunch of older guys. That sounds like the worst thing that could happen. Awful.
Julian
It just seems like me, I don't
Matan
know, I would just want to see the idol. It's like when you go to see like that for that, that painting, the Mona Lisa, when you see the Coliseum, he's like, here's some stupid Artistic bullshit that actually had no effect. And here's where all the powerful people gather to secretly be pedophiles. I want to see what that looks like.
Julian
The Mona Lisa. Hold on a second. You think the Mona Lisa and Coliseum are artistic? That have no effect?
Matan
The Coliseum was cool. They would have.
Julian
Yeah, they fight it out to the death.
Matan
That's when we didn't have empathy as. As people for autistic people. These people who couldn't interact in society would give them a spear and we would tell them they have to rip off a bull's head, knowing damn well that that is the opposite of what was going to happen. Well, I would like to have you on my show.
Julian
All right, Brian.
Matan
Mr. Johnson.
Julian
Yes, Mr. Johnson.
Matan
Fake name.
Julian
Well, if you call him Mr. Johnson the whole time, he'll do it. Will you call him Mr. Johnson?
Matan
I probably would have done that if he had asked me not to. Right.
Julian
What would your approach with him be? Would you open up with this?
Matan
I didn't even know about this. This is, like, not particularly shocking, but it's interesting. How did he get his money, by the way, to start stealing his son's blood?
Julian
What was it, Danny? It was like a payments company or did I just make that up? Can we Google how did Brian Johnson get rich?
Matan
I will say, by the way, the idea of taking nutrients from your son.
Julian
It's crazy. Yeah.
Matan
To give to yourself is pretty awesome.
Julian
You. Oh, you think it's awesome?
Matan
I mean, most people, they are always these parents, you know, always say, like, oh, you know, I love my kid more than anything. This guy is stealing from his kid to live longer. And it probably won't even make him live any longer. It's just going to ruin his son's life because everybody's like, holy shit, are you the guy. Who is that dad who's stealing your blood?
Julian
Well, it's not stealing if he agrees to it.
Matan
Crazy family of nuts.
Julian
Isn't he giving his blood to his. To his own dad, too? Or did I make that up? Yeah, it's like the blood brother or bloodline or something like that. Yeah. All right, so Brian Johnson made the bulk of his fortune in 2013 by selling his fintech company Braintree to PayPal for 800 million in cash. He did. In cash. It's. Yeah. No, he's. He's pretty loaded. He's pretty. In cash. I feel like that's how you would want to do a deal. In cash. That's how I would want to do a deal.
Matan
I mean, if I could get more Money.
Julian
Right.
Matan
In a similar amount of period where like, it's more when you count how you could have invested in. With inflation. I would take. Not in cash, but not. It's preferable to take it in cash if it's the same thing. Regardless.
Julian
Yes. What would you do with $800 million? Well, 400 after taxes.
Matan
I would probably buy an island.
Julian
An island? Where? Any place specifically.
Matan
I would buy that island and then I would open it as like a. A tour, a museum.
Julian
It already got bought, though. And they actually are already turning it into a resort. Did you hear about this? Could we Google Epstein island being turned into a resort? I know, I know. They took your idea. Yeah. Was that your idea or Jeff's? Because he wanted to pass it down in the family.
Matan
It was Pete's.
Julian
It was Pete's. So his name's Pete now? He's not Jeffrey Epstein?
Matan
That's his nickname.
Julian
That's his nickname. Okay. Yeah. Jeffrey Epstein's former Caribbean Properties, Little St. James and Great St. James were purchased in May 2023 for 60 milli. See, you could have done it by billionaire Steven Deckhoff. Deckhoff originally announced intentions to transform the locations into a luxury resort. Oh, look at this. No major construction or development has been reported, though the islands currently remain in a state of limbo with no active resort or confirmed plans for the site. Matan, you should go do. You should go break onto that island with Tyler Oliveira and do one of your podcasts without the tent, just like right outside the temple. I think that would be awesome.
Matan
I would immediately get her. I've seen the videos of the guy sneaking onto the island. They just get arrested or kicked off immediately.
Julian
Not if you bring a lot of.
Matan
Can you imagine one of the worst. Like, isn't it like next to all those islands with like those immigrants?
Julian
Probably.
Matan
I guess they're not immigrants of their own islands, but you know what I mean.
Julian
I don't know what you mean.
Matan
There's certainly.
Julian
I was just going with it.
Matan
Isn't it next to the islands with the people, they're like kind of animalistic and.
Julian
Oh, you went from immigrants to animalistic to their non immigrants to their animalistic.
Matan
You just made it more complicated than it is.
Julian
That's right.
Matan
I can't imagine a worse place to be in jail than there. So I'm not going to take that risk. I would tell you to go to a luxury resort, though. That would be awesome.
Julian
Well, imagine how they're not building it.
Matan
Yeah, well, imagine if he built like a big resort all in the style of that house.
Julian
In this. In. In the house in New York or the temple house?
Matan
The temple house.
Julian
The temple house.
Matan
Everybody gets a little. Everybody. You can rent a little like that. That would be so like. Okay, I'm not even joking. Would you, wouldn't you go there?
Julian
No.
Matan
What?
Julian
No.
Matan
Why?
Julian
I mean, I've had someone sitting in that seat who was a victim on that island. So I feel like the, the spirits just in general, Even if I hadn't experienced that, hearing that story firsthand would have been bad enough to me be like, yeah, I think I'll go to any other island in the world, but
Matan
that I want to go to that island, that I want to go to that one in a house that looks like the place where the bad stuff probably happened. But you know, we don't know that for sure.
Julian
Well, we don't. We don't know that.
Matan
But we don't know exactly if it was on that house, do we? Or is that confirmed?
Julian
Well, some of what may just seems very like there is not confirmed, but like that any bad things happen in there? Some of that's confirmed. Yeah.
Matan
Oh, yeah, it was on the house specifically.
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
There were people assaulted in there. Yeah.
Danny
Okay.
Julian
Yeah. You could do a podcast right outside it though, with Brian Johnson and talk about if he knew him or not.
Matan
He's gonna go, I did not know him. I did not know. He's just. Now he's gonna keep repeating himself because he's like probably severely autistic.
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
What about the, the one in New York? You ever been there?
Matan
No, actually, I haven't, but I can take you. Where is it? Is it in Manhattan?
Julian
It is on East 71st Street.
Matan
What's, what's that close to relative? Because I'm not good with like New York directions.
Julian
Aren't you here all the time?
Matan
I come here often, but I mean,
Julian
you just don't look outside and what street you're on.
Matan
Well, I usually like, I was probably from where I'm staying like a 30 minute train ride away, but I don't really. I just get on trains. Right. So if you get off, just directionlessly and then I'll just get off and if I'm in the wrong place, I'll do it. So I actually, this was like a three hour journey for me.
Julian
No, if you get off at Penn Station, which is where Madison Square Garden is, and you're on roughly 32nd, 33rd street and you just walk up to 60th at the park, you make a right.
Matan
You have to walk 30 streets.
Julian
Yeah, it's it's like 26. They're half blocks that way. And then you make a right, go to the corner of the park, make your first left right there, and then walk down to where it says 70 first half blocks.
Danny
Very easy.
Matan
And how long is this walk from this? Penn Station?
Julian
Well, who's walking? Am I walking? Sure. Okay, then it's a lot faster. If you're with me, you're gonna have trouble keeping up. But if you're walking with like Danny here or something like that, it might
Matan
be a couple day journey.
Julian
No, 90 minutes.
Matan
And with you probably about 55. Why don't you just take a train that's closer to this place?
Julian
Because it's a lot of work. You know, I don't. I don't like taking the train in New York City. I like walking in New York City.
Matan
Okay, well, now you're just an idiot.
Julian
I'm not an idiot. It's good exercise. Good for longevity.
Matan
A 90 minute walk.
Julian
Well, no, it's like 55 with me.
Matan
It's really an hour 10 or 110. I'm gonna go back.
Julian
Oh, on the. On the round trip? Yeah. I didn't say we were walking back.
Matan
So what's the solution then?
Julian
I don't know. Maybe we'll teleport.
Matan
See, now you have no answer. So now you're just saying because you're an idiot.
Julian
No, you've been thought about that because you're an idiot all day.
Matan
But I know that I'm saying you're
Julian
the one spraying Lysol.
Matan
Well, that was calculated to make his
Julian
shirt look like he himself.
Matan
That wasn't calculated, but it came out pretty awesome.
Julian
It did come out pretty awesome. I agree. We may frame that shirt afterwards.
Matan
Will you frame it?
Danny
I'll frame it, yeah. I'll frame it.
Julian
Yeah. What's your opinion on the moon? You think we went.
Matan
I think the moon is the same size as the sun and it's only 25 miles up.
Julian
All right, hold on. What?
Matan
That's what the guy on my show told me, and he was. I believe him.
Julian
It's only 25 miles up, but it's the same size as the sun, which
Matan
is also only 25 miles up.
Julian
No, the sun's a lot farther than that. Oh, look at you. You were lecturing me about distracting you with texting.
Matan
Yeah, because you come off like a guy who would want to be perceived as respectful.
Julian
I come off as a guy who'd want to be perceived as respectful. I never thought of it that way.
Matan
I'm clearly not that. That way.
Julian
Right. So you're okay being a dick.
Matan
I mean, I'm not trying to be an.
Julian
I mean, I see you're just obfuscating here because you're not answering my question.
Matan
What's that? What was the question?
Julian
If we went to the moon and you just told me something about the sun and the size and everything.
Matan
What's that? Joe Rogan. Guess where they said if they got into it, they would be in danger. I think that's the position I'm in.
Julian
I think that was Elon Musk that said that, right?
Matan
No, no, it was like a. No, it was. It was like. I don't think it was even a particularly famous guy. Look it up.
Julian
The guy who hacked. Who does the search engine on Google?
Matan
I don't remember, but I remember seeing that clip all the time.
Julian
Who told Joe Rogan.
Matan
Is it true that like every time Joe Rogan has on, like a crazy, like a type of schizophrenic guest, it come. It like expands your potential ceiling for how big your show can get?
Julian
I think it depends on the guest.
Danny
So.
Julian
All right, so who told Joe Rogan he would be in danger? He would be in danger if he spoke about something publicly?
Danny
I don't know.
Julian
We'll see if that. Let's see what Google AI can do. Joe Rogan stunned his podcast guest refuses to answer a mushroom related question. Oh, Paul Stamets was. Yeah, let's hit it.
Danny
I didn't.
Julian
I don't know.
Matan
He sells. He got famous from selling stamps. Did you know that?
Julian
From selling stems.
Matan
Stamps. Stamps.
Julian
Stamps, yeah. Paul Stamets. Yeah, I see what you're doing there. Okay. Joe Rogan was left stunned during an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience when guest Paul Stamets refused to answer a question claiming it could put his life in danger. All right, what was the question? All right, let's go down. Let's go down.
Matan
The question. Are you Paul Stampitz?
Julian
During the com. During the conversation, Rogan asked Stamets, what are the benefits or the negative effects of visibly. Yeah, go ahead.
Matan
I was just trying to interrupt you and confuse.
Julian
Okay. A question that approved to ref. To reference Portobello.
Matan
Now you're tripping up on your words. However, you're having a harder time reading,
Julian
saying, this is an explosive area of conversation and puts my life in danger, so I reserve the right not to answer a question. Rogan appeared visibly surprised by the statement, responding, whoa, didn't expect that. It puts your life in danger. Talking about Portobello mushrooms. He's looking.
Matan
Are you reading it now? Just to read it? To prove you can read it? Because I said you were having a hard time reading it.
Julian
I'm answering.
Matan
Are you even. Do you even know what you're reading? I feel like the information is going not even into one ear. It's hitting the side of your head.
Julian
My brain. And I'm saying it to people.
Matan
What the hell are you even talking about now? We're just talking about nothing. About complete nothing we're arguing about.
Julian
Explain. It's going into the people.
Matan
Complete argument on a pride. It's like two birds yelling at each other.
Julian
That's why we used to wear headphones. Episodes like this, you know? But, yeah. No, you were right. His life was in danger of her mushrooms. Pound it, baby. You do have a good. You got a good punch. I didn't expect that on you.
Matan
No, see, it's like the height thing.
Julian
I didn't expect that either. But I'm saying, even once I saw
Matan
the actual thing, people just think I'm like, I guess, physically so unintimidating. Not that I'm particularly physically intimidating, but.
Julian
You don't like wood very much, do you?
Matan
Wood?
Julian
Yeah. You got a problem with wood?
Matan
Wood either.
Julian
Yeah. It's not good for wood. I put sealant on it. I have an idea the Lysol is not good for wood either.
Matan
What about water and Lysol?
Julian
It's. I mean, it's not.
Matan
You're gonna have to fly that guy out from Florida real soon again.
Julian
Danny's a big fan of yours, but I feel like he's not going to be very happy.
Matan
He's. Danny.
Julian
No, not that Danny. Danny Jones.
Matan
Jamie, go.
Julian
Go under the table. You can see it.
Matan
It's like a weird Epstein trick.
Julian
It's not a weird Epstein trick. I got pants on. I'll stand up. I'm good.
Matan
Whoa, whoa, whoa. That was real.
Julian
Go under the table right here.
Matan
You know, keep your distance.
Julian
You can go under the table and you'll see it.
Matan
Do you think I'm gonna go under the fucking table, you weird creep?
Julian
I told you to go under the table.
Matan
Well, you have no pressure over anybody. Maybe if you really wore that retired skateboarder fighter, I would go under the table.
Julian
You don't want to fuck around and find out with you.
Matan
I feel like you probably have guns. You strike me as a guy.
Julian
I wouldn't tell you if I did
Matan
or probably has a bunch of illegal shotguns.
Julian
I would definitely do it legally if I had them in here.
Matan
You would say that. Obviously, on a podcast.
Julian
No, no, I would say that privately, too. I would definitely do it legally.
Danny
Interesting.
Julian
Yes. There's a process there, but there's no reason to not do it legally. Do you own guns?
Matan
Can I own guns?
Julian
Do you own guns? Not can you? I was already giving you credit for being able to.
Matan
I get it. No, I don't. Not yet.
Julian
Okay. All right. Do you plan to.
Matan
I'm sure, at some point. Right, right. But I live in la, so I'm. I think it's very strict there.
Julian
I've heard that. I don't know the full process, but I've heard it's very.
Matan
I'm not sure of the process either.
Julian
Does your security have guns?
Matan
Security?
Julian
Yes.
Matan
You saw me with security?
Julian
Yeah, the three guys out there.
Matan
The stupid homeless crackhead.
Julian
That's right.
Matan
The cameraman that's following me around that I told not to sit in here.
Julian
You told him not to sit in here? I told him he could sit in here.
Matan
Well, I told him not.
Julian
Why'd you tell him not to?
Matan
Because. Why would he sit in here?
Julian
I don't know. He could add something to the audience. I have no idea.
Matan
All right, well, just to expedite the conversation, I don't have security.
Julian
Have you thought about getting it?
Matan
No, not really.
Julian
A big target on your back and a big head. That's a big target.
Matan
I actually
Danny
don't.
Matan
I just don't go in public that often, so I'm not. I'm usually able to not have to be concerned with that. And when I do, I'll just put on a hat.
Julian
You do. I was going to ask you that. So you do wear hats sometimes in public?
Matan
Yeah, I mean, preferably. I feel like this is a pretty recognizable.
Julian
Yeah, there's a fat. There's a hat that fits on that head.
Matan
A beanie.
Julian
Oh, so it comes all that. Is it, like, in your face?
Matan
No, it'll go to the back or put a hoodie on. People usually don't.
Julian
Sunglasses?
Matan
No, I feel like that's too far now. It's, like, kind of giving it away.
Julian
It's giving it away.
Matan
Then you start looking suspicious. You have a hat, a beanie on, and sunglasses.
Julian
I mean, that's what Leonardo DiCaprio does. I don't think he looks suspicious.
Matan
Well, he's just doing that because he doesn't want the paparazzi to get good photos, I think not to hide when he's, like, walking.
Julian
I mean, he hides pretty well. They don't get. They get him, but not as much as you Would think.
Matan
Yeah.
Julian
I don't think he's paying him off to not get him all the time.
Matan
But no, I don't know. I don't think I would need security because even when I walk around like this and I do get recognized a lot, it's usually good interactions. Almost entirely good. I don't know if I've had a bad one.
Julian
Right. Were you wearing sunglasses on 9 11?
Matan
Sunglasses? Why? What's the joke there or the reference? I just.
Julian
I want to know where you were on 9 11.
Matan
I was six years away from being born.
Julian
That's what I would say, too. I would lie about my birth year.
Matan
I mean, you know, But I wouldn't, though, because I would have liked to be around for 9 11.
Julian
You would have liked to be around, like, to what? A witness, like in a. In a. What's the context there? A good way, bad way. I mean, New York rooting against it,
Matan
to witness it in general.
Julian
Just to witness it.
Matan
I'm not gonna root for it to happen. Root for 911 to happen.
Julian
Good, good, good.
Matan
Why would you say. I think I would say that.
Julian
I don't know. It seemed like you were going there.
Matan
No, I would have just liked to witness that.
Julian
Just to, like, be able to take it in.
Matan
You don't think that every single person who was physically witnessing the planes flying to the buildings doesn't tell that to people all the time?
Julian
There are people who refuse to talk about it that did that.
Matan
Yeah, they refused to talk about it.
Julian
Refused to talk about it.
Matan
Why?
Julian
Because it was so traumatic for them.
Matan
I'm not talking about people who saw, like, dead people, you know.
Julian
Well, a lot of those people did see both.
Matan
Yeah, well, that's. That obviously would be traumatic. I'm saying, like, let's say you were like, you know, five miles away. You just saw the plane go into the building. I'm sure they talk about that shit all the time, right? Let's say you were dancing or something. I'm sure they were.
Danny
They knew.
Julian
You still haven't answered my question either, about, like, the Kim Jong Un. Get up. Where'd this come from?
Matan
Well, it's just the only suit I have.
Julian
It's the only one you own?
Matan
Yeah. So why get another one?
Julian
I kind of like that logic. That's. That is smart logic. Because it. Does it ever, like, smell? Because you wear it too many days in a row, especially in hot places.
Matan
Yeah, but then nobody will want to steal it, right?
Julian
But people won't want to be around you. It's like, you know, Some of those, yeah.
Matan
But that's. That's. That's not necessarily a bad thing.
Julian
People around you. You like being alone?
Matan
No, I'm not, like, particularly like that. It just sometimes if I. I guess it would be preferable, depending on the day and the situation and what I'm doing. I feel like I didn't even need to have to explain that. But you're so far behind that I think I'm ahead. No, you're not even on that dumb level.
Julian
I'm not on that dumb level. I'm, like, below that.
Matan
Yeah, you're just far behind.
Julian
Okay, well, my bladder's behind. I gotta take a piss, so we're gonna take a break real quick.
Matan
Are we done or what?
Julian
No, we're gonna continue. Absolutely.
Matan
Okay.
Julian
I have a lot of questions for you.
Matan
All right.
Julian
I don't know who sent you. Just a reminder. This is the bathroom break part. It's about two or three minutes, and I'm leaving it in because it was really funny. All right, we'll be right back. Good job so far.
Matan
It's good so far. You're having fun? Yeah, it's great.
Julian
You're doing great. Don't leave the room.
Danny
Me or him?
Julian
Just watch him.
Danny
Okay, you got it. So who's the craziest guy you've ever met?
Matan
Hold on. I'm gonna leave the room.
Danny
Oh, hold on. You shouldn't. You shouldn't leave the room.
Matan
I'm gonna leave the room.
Danny
Okay, that's fine. You know what? Let's. Let's leave the room together. You know what I mean? I think that would be great. Is that for you getting their seat? Oh, not enough for the regular water for you? No, it's the regular.
Matan
You see those cups that are nasty?
Danny
Oh, I see. So he's gonna drink straight from that? Yes. Okay. I could get you a better cup. Would you like a better glass?
Matan
No, no, this will work fine.
Danny
This will work fine.
Julian
Oh, goodness.
Danny
There you go. Would you like a chair for that?
Matan
No.
Danny
No. Okay.
Matan
Maybe. Can you grab those napkins?
Danny
Those napkins? Yeah, sure.
Matan
And then maybe wipe this up a little so I don't destroy his ball.
Danny
Yeah, yeah. That's not. Let's. Let's try not to. Let's mitigate some of the damage, you know?
Matan
Oh, it says Israel on here.
Danny
This is Israel. That's one of those Israeli.
Julian
His Ra gloves.
Danny
All right. There you go, sir.
Julian
What are you wiping down?
Danny
The water that he's just going to pour more. He grabbed some sparkling water from your fridge. You weren't Planning on drinking it? Yeah.
Julian
It's all right. That wasn't. That water wasn't for me.
Matan
Okay.
Danny
Okay.
Julian
Everything's still on, right?
Danny
Yep. Yep.
Julian
All right, let's run it now. You're stealing my globe and my sparkling water. That isn't mine. You think that's cool? Just going to keep texting.
Matan
You said there was a break period.
Julian
Yeah, well, the break's over. I'm talking into the mic. You're supposed to be a professional. You know what this is.
Matan
Say again?
Julian
You stole my globe. You stole the sparkling water. That's not mine.
Matan
It's not yours?
Julian
No.
Matan
Who's is it?
Julian
A females.
Matan
Oh, your girlfriend or something?
Julian
No. No.
Matan
A victim?
Julian
No.
Matan
So who?
Julian
None of the above. What do you call it? The talking stage? Yeah. How is it? Any good?
Matan
I'm not a big fan of sparkling.
Julian
I'm not a fan of it either, do I guess. All right, we agree on that. Now why'd you take my globe?
Matan
Because it looks funny.
Julian
Why does it look funny? It's a globe.
Matan
You know, you bought the Israeli version.
Julian
I did not buy the Israeli version.
Danny
This was.
Julian
This was my grandfather's, actually.
Matan
Well, he bought the Israeli version.
Danny
No.
Matan
I forget grandfather. But an Israel one, probably before it even existed.
Julian
Again. Yeah. Is Israel even on there? I've never checked this.
Matan
Israel, Tel Aviv, Yafa, Jerusalem.
Julian
Okay, it's there.
Matan
I don't see no Palestine on here, though.
Julian
Right. So do you think Israel should exist?
Matan
Yeah, people have asked me that before. I think that's almost a futile argument.
Julian
I think it's a futile argument.
Matan
I think there's. We've now progressed into a point where I think fighting the land battle about it is a little too late in the process. I would like to mitigate the killing of a bunch of innocent Palestinians if possible, though, because that team is more realistic.
Julian
You know, I think I agree with you. Yeah. You got to start with the simpler, humane argument before you can tackle the real issues. Yeah.
Matan
I mean, it's just like if they're getting genocide, they're not going to be in the position to fight and take land back.
Danny
No.
Matan
So let's maybe stop that first. Stop funding it at least.
Julian
How many countries have you been to before?
Matan
England.
Julian
That's it?
Matan
I think so.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Really?
Danny
Yeah.
Matan
I haven't traveled that far out of the US I've been to a bunch of states, but that's it.
Julian
What's your favorite state?
Matan
I like New York.
Julian
Why do you like New York?
Matan
Because there's always crazy, funny homeless people dancing and singing Borderline homeless people dancing and singing. Rich people who are looking very upset that they have to be in their presence.
Julian
Right. You enjoy that dynamic from an entertainment perspective?
Matan
It's amazing.
Danny
Yeah.
Matan
It's like, unlike any other place I've ever seen.
Julian
Yeah. So, like, when you come here or anywhere and record, do you just go find a warehouse and set up, like, the white tent or.
Matan
Well, I have a studio I use in New York. I'm using a studio.
Julian
Okay, and they let you do. Just make a tent.
Matan
That's my set.
Julian
It's the second best tent set in podcasting, for sure.
Matan
What's the. What's the competitor?
Julian
Mark Gagnon. His tent. His tent's better.
Matan
Who's that camping?
Julian
My boy, Mark Camp Gagnon. You never seen this?
Matan
Oh, is that the guy on flagrant? Yeah, flagrant.
Julian
Yeah, yeah. Best hair in the game for sure. Shout out, Mark. See him right there? Oh, there's him before the hair. Look at that. Hold on. Go over two, go up. Look. Yeah, yeah, hit that. That's before he had hair.
Matan
But him being in a tent isn't fair because he looks like a homeless person who would be in a tent. So he has an advantage.
Julian
Do you think he looks homeless? I think it looks pretty clean.
Matan
Maybe not in that photo.
Julian
He is from Florida. In your defense, go to the recent one. Yeah,
Matan
homeless fair.
Danny
That's fair.
Julian
It's good hair. But he could. He could be home.
Matan
Would you like some water?
Julian
I've never seen him in a home. Now that you say that, I don't want sparkling water. No, like I said, I don't drink it. Now you got sparkling water on the table. That's like, actually. Is that acidic, Danny? I don't even know. Yeah, let's Google that. Is sparkling water acidic in any way? I'm not a biologist or chemist, you know.
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
Yes, mildly acidic. When carbon dioxide dissolves in water, it forms carbonic acid, dropping the drinks ph to roughly 3.5 to 5.0. So you just put like a 4 ph on my table, and now you're gonna put more. That's awesome.
Matan
Will it melt by the time we're done?
Julian
It might melt by the time we're done. And then, like I said, Danny Jones is. He's gonna have to build a whole new table. I clean the carpet, so that's not a big.
Danny
Okay.
Julian
All right, Keep adding to it.
Danny
Just.
Julian
Let's not hit the wires down there.
Matan
Carpet melt.
Julian
The carpet will not melt. Oh, the carpet will not melt. It's a very. I. I sleep on this Carpet, sometimes.
Matan
What about the wooden floor?
Julian
No, don't. Don't do that. This guy.
Matan
It's an experiment. I'm not trying to.
Julian
It's an experiment. You're not trying to things up. You're just experimenting on my.
Matan
See if it mess.
Danny
Melts.
Julian
We'll see if it melts.
Matan
Isn't it a fun experiment to do in your house?
Julian
Not really. Not really?
Matan
It's fun because I don't have any damages.
Julian
Do you want to be president one day?
Matan
I don't think that's really even a relevant thing to consider right now.
Julian
Why is it not relevant if I
Matan
want to be president?
Julian
Yeah. Bill Clinton's already your rabbi.
Matan
How many years off of that before I would even be allowed to run? If I ran.
Julian
You got another 16 if your birth age is correct. Yeah. You might be a Dikembe Mutombo, though. I. I'm kind of leaning towards that.
Matan
I don't look 19 to you? I look older than that.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
How old do I look?
Julian
28 and a half, maybe.
Matan
Are you serious? Yeah. I don't know if I should interpret that as an insult or not.
Julian
No, it's for a guy. It's not an insult for sure.
Matan
Seems like an insult. I mean, you could just find a video of me from 2019 when I'm 12. It exists in the Hong Kong.
Julian
Maybe you were on puberty blockers.
Matan
Okay, well, see, now you have to come up with all these excuses. This is how.
Julian
That's not an excuse a lot. I mean, you're from California. A lot of people were on those.
Matan
Do I look like I was on those?
Julian
You might have been.
Matan
Do I sound like I was on those?
Julian
Well, you might have formulated the voice at this point.
Matan
Yeah, see, you come up with all these excuses.
Julian
It's not excuses. You play a bit. You play a character.
Matan
No, I don't.
Julian
What'd you just throw at him?
Danny
I think it was the.
Julian
Oh, it's the cap to the. It's not. It's not gonna hurt you.
Danny
No, no, that's fine.
Julian
Yeah, you'll be all right. You'll be all right.
Matan
Well, I wanted you to head it. You wanted with your head. He's soccer.
Julian
No, he's not a big soccer guy.
Matan
You want to try?
Julian
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's a relic.
Matan
I won't do it because you said it's from your grass.
Julian
That's not even like a bot. Thank you. I appreciate that. I'll let him know he's still alive.
Matan
Okay. No, no, no, no.
Julian
No, no, no, no.
Matan
We're just almost messed up there.
Julian
We're just gonna put this back over here. No one can. No one can harm that. But you've only been to England.
Matan
Yes.
Julian
So you haven't done your world tour yet.
Matan
A world tour? Just traveling or like.
Julian
No, like actually doing the show too. I feel like that would suit you.
Matan
Like live or just filming with guests across the world.
Julian
I think filming with guests across the world.
Matan
I just. I mean, I don't know if there's any. Yes. Across the world that. What would. I could get a hold of that would be interesting.
Julian
Not one in all.
Matan
I don't know anybody in like, Austria.
Julian
Yeah, but they know you and there's probably a few interesting there.
Matan
It might be true, but I just haven't got a hold of them.
Julian
You haven't done that. I think you should do that.
Matan
I think it would be good.
Julian
Yeah, but you. Have you never thought about being president just because you're way too young, according to what you say to be.
Matan
I mean, it's just not. I have no political. No political background.
Julian
Weren't you just speaking it like some fucking young.
Matan
No, but I mean, I don't have. Like. I haven't been in the government at all. Usually you have to work your way up. Trump didn't. I was speaking at the New York's Young Republicans Club gala.
Julian
Who invited you?
Matan
Some idiot, I guess, who got fired. I won't call him an idiot. I appreciate that he got me off there to be this.
Julian
Why did he get. What'd you say? To get him fired, I guess.
Matan
I mean. Well, they immediately didn't let me back up to continue. I was the host of the whole event. Every time somebody came back up.
Julian
Oh, they asked you to emcee.
Matan
I was the mc. I was gonna do my speech in the beginning, which I did. I supposed to go off. Go on, go off, go on the whole time. Do a middle remark, conclusion remarks. I got my first six minutes. That was it.
Julian
Who yanked you officially?
Matan
They didn't even yank me. I went up. I was supposed to be up there for five minutes. I did my intro for like. Like six just went off.
Julian
But then they didn't let you back up, so somebody.
Matan
Well, I asked the guy because there were two guys, the two guys running the show. They were like almost shaking. They were like, maybe partly out of anger and like. I don't know what they. What. Whatever they were expecting. Not that I. They should expect that I would with them because I don't. With people.
Julian
You don't with people.
Matan
Because I don't do any of that nonsense.
Julian
Yeah, you don't.
Matan
That's for dumb babies.
Julian
Yeah, dumb babies. Some evidence there that, you know, somewhat. Some evidence against what you just said.
Matan
Well, that was a defensive position.
Julian
It was a defensive position, yes. All right, let me play some defense too.
Danny
Look at that.
Matan
Yeah, well, I don't want to mess up my jackets.
Julian
You don't want to mess up your jacket. Hey, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Want to come in?
Matan
I'll use. I'm a better defense.
Julian
Okay. All right. Okay. You're going to. You're going to. You can defend with the camera angle. Can we just make sure it's at least facing me? Yeah, yeah, over there.
Danny
All right.
Julian
I got the shampoo and conditioner.
Matan
Those are a lot less deadly.
Julian
That's. They're a lot less deadly. Have you ever seen these things squirt?
Matan
Oh, well, they don't go far, but yeah.
Julian
Just make sure it's at least lined up. If you need to play defense with that, you can, but let's make it like an actual.
Matan
What time is it, by the way? You know I have to do that show with Gavin.
Julian
That's right. Yeah. I gotta get you out of here at 2:15, so we got like an hour.
Danny
Okay. All right.
Matan
That way.
Julian
This is kind of like an interview now. Almost like a casting couch kind of thing. I don't know if you're into that, but I'm not gonna play along with that.
Matan
Like where I'm like a rapist.
Julian
Yeah, a little bit. I feel like you're about to talk dirty to me or something.
Matan
No, no.
Julian
Okay, that's good. That's good.
Danny
That's all right.
Julian
That's heterosexual.
Matan
There's no main shot. That includes everybody.
Julian
Yeah, there is. It's right there. But we didn't put it on for you. We put on this camera in case Mike. Mike came in. I didn't want the main shot for you.
Matan
Seems like a bit of an oversight.
Julian
Why is it an oversight?
Matan
Did I have a main shot?
Julian
Well, that's. I mean, if Joey Deef were here, we would have had it for sure. There was a lot going on. You were spraying a lot of things. I never put it on. You want to turn on camera five, Danny? We haven't needed it today. Yeah, yeah, because we got multiple angles.
Matan
It's not too late watching at this point.
Julian
Yeah, absolutely.
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
People watch these whole things. Look at that. That's it. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. No, that's on you. Yeah, take the COVID off. Yeah. We almost just lost producer Danny.
Matan
It's also clearly a very good defense.
Julian
It is good defense, I'll give you that. But it won't look good in court. Yeah. Is it on? It's not on. You got. You got to turn it on. You have to turn like the switch on top. He's not going to die. All financial issues, but, like, I've seen him fall. It's not great. It's not. It's not great. You see on top, there's like a switch right there. You turn.
Matan
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're good. Now that knows how to turn on a camera.
Julian
Like I said, he's. Danny's the editor and today. Today, you know. Oh, did you turn that off now?
Matan
Yeah.
Julian
Why'd you turn that off?
Matan
I want to see if you can figure out how to turn it on you.
Julian
No, no, no, no, no.
Matan
Not.
Julian
Not there.
Danny
All right, all right.
Julian
On the. On the back of the camera, you see the power button? No, no, shut up.
Danny
The power button.
Julian
All right.
Danny
Yeah, yeah, hold on.
Julian
Yeah, just flick it.
Danny
There he goes. Is it.
Julian
Yeah, yeah, it's on. It's right on me.
Danny
Is it. Can you even hear you like, you're not even near the mic.
Julian
Yeah, yeah. I mean, he's. He's loud, but now he's gonna move it again. Okay.
Matan
Just as long as we don't do this stuff.
Julian
We won't do this stuff. Now we have. We have equal weaponry.
Danny
You know, you both have nukes.
Julian
You still haven't touched the bottom of the plunger.
Matan
Why would I touch the bottom of a plunge?
Julian
I mean, you were touching it on the way in here, and now, you know, there's on of it. Yeah. When you brought it in, you were carrying it like that.
Matan
No, I wasn't.
Julian
Yeah, you were.
Matan
Are you crazy?
Julian
Yeah, I think Danny actually has that on video. He was shooting some. No. Yeah. Have you talked to any cartel guys?
Matan
I don't think so.
Julian
You should.
Matan
Why is that?
Julian
Because I think you would actually be able to ask them good cutting questions and get them off balance, provided they spoke some English. If it's a guy, just speak Spanish. That's because to be tough.
Matan
I feel like that might be a little dangerous for me.
Julian
It might be a little dangerous, but you can just hire what he trying
Matan
to figure out right now.
Julian
No, he's taking notes.
Danny
Just taking notes.
Julian
He's just taking notes for you.
Matan
You know, I would like a coffee after this. I was treated unfairly. I would like a coffee.
Danny
Another coffee.
Julian
You're not Supposed to agree with him.
Danny
Oh, no.
Matan
I got you a coffee.
Danny
Okay. Yeah, yeah, no, that's.
Julian
You need two coffees.
Danny
I don't know. I. That's what he's saying.
Matan
Clearly he needs it more than one.
Danny
That's compensation.
Julian
It could be compensation.
Matan
He needs more energy than the average person to keep it running.
Julian
Yeah, but if you talk with a cartel guy that spoke English as well, you might be able to get to the bottom of the fentanyl crisis. And I feel like that would be something that could put you on a pathway for political.
Matan
Is it really a crisis, though? Or is it really just like the process of elimination?
Julian
Process of it. That's dark Madonna.
Matan
It's true, though.
Julian
Why is it true?
Matan
I don't know. Figure it out yourself.
Julian
Okay. Someone. Someone gets. Someone gets hurt on the job. They blow out their back doing nothing wrong, and then doctor over prescribes them opium, and then suddenly they're on the streets looking for fentanyl because the doctor got him addicted to opium.
Matan
They should have been stronger and not hurt their back on the job.
Julian
Okay, so you would have just stopped them doing the. You think that it's like a evolutionary Darwinism. If you just hurt your back on.
Matan
On the job, you shouldn't have hurt your back on the job. You should have been strong.
Julian
What if you're working really hard or
Matan
like, you know, you should have worked as hard as you can without not hurting your back because you should have been stronger.
Julian
Have you ever hurt your back?
Matan
No.
Julian
But if you did and got addicted to fentanyl, would you see it differently then?
Matan
I would think that I got eliminated by the process.
Julian
Eliminated by the process. So are you like a population control guy?
Matan
I was arguing against that earlier. I know.
Julian
That's what I'm saying.
Matan
Not a population control guy. I'm just questioning how big this crisis is and if it's really a crisis.
Julian
Crisis in air quotes.
Matan
Yeah. Is it a crisis or is it really just like, we're getting rid of some people who probably we don't need anyways? And also, they look really funny. And, like, we take photos of them and send it to our friends in a group chat and, like, look at this crazy guy. Okay, well, I do. I'm like, is this the craziest one we've seen so far? We have, like, a whole collection. We have, like, a shared, like, photo group where we are all the best ones.
Julian
Right. You do that with Mike. Mike.
Matan
Well, he's in one of the photos from when I got him. Right, but he's not in the group, he might find it a little offensive.
Julian
So you're worried about offending him so you make an exception for him.
Matan
Actually, that's a good point. I don't think he's even capable of really being offended or interpreting why he should be so. Actually, no. Yeah, I just. He just wouldn't understand. What funny about.
Julian
For his drugs?
Matan
He's not on drugs anymore.
Julian
He's not?
Matan
Yeah, it's just his brain is so fried from all the ones he did.
Julian
I don't know. Listen, when he had to be a lawyer for Palm Beach, Beauty was pretty good. I don't think your brain could be fried to say some of the things he was saying.
Matan
He's a great slave.
Julian
It's a great slip. So you just admitted it. Yes, yes. Let's go back to that. We never fully answered that question. You were talking about maybe chaining them in rooms and stuff. The people that passed the IQ test or whatever your smart test is and everything. But, like, what would you make them do? Do as slaves?
Matan
The whole point was to grow the
Julian
population so it's strictly for eugenics. What about the kids that they have? Do you make them automatically slaves too? Or are they going to be a
Matan
part of maybe some of them? Maybe just to continue at some point. Maybe we don't have to do this thing anymore where we.
Julian
Right.
Matan
Take IQ tests. It can just be those children that's smart.
Julian
So you. You keep some and then send them?
Matan
Yeah, like you have. You start with 10, you have 30 kids, right. Then now you will leave it 15 and 15. So you've grown by 15 and now instead of 15. You know what I mean?
Julian
Right. So what do you think?
Danny
The.
Julian
The world population is 8 billion right now. How many of those people do you think would qualify to be slaves?
Matan
In America or the world?
Julian
The world. Let's start at the world and then we'll go to America, work our way
Matan
down in the world. Maybe about 150 million.
Julian
So you think a lot of the world's dumped.
Matan
Are we going to move on to America now?
Danny
Okay,
Matan
in America, probably about 150 million.
Julian
So the rest of the world's pretty dumb to you? You only been to one country. How can you.
Matan
Well, I guess I'm kind of counting.
Julian
I think that's a lie.
Matan
But I meant Europe in America.
Julian
Europe and America.
Matan
Yeah, Europe is very similar. I mean, it's the same.
Julian
So you don't think they're good at math in Asia?
Matan
The issue is that they are not just isn't that they're not good at math. It's more of a cultural crisis.
Julian
Cultural. How so?
Matan
I mean, you don't see, like, the videos of, like, the guys in Tokyo just, like, collapsing on a bus, like, not even finding their way home to. To go to sleep after they've worked for 18 hours straight.
Julian
Huh. I feel like you're making the opposite argument, though.
Matan
What's the opposite argument?
Julian
Because you were saying 150 million only, including America and Europe, where some of these problems exist, but you're saying in Asia those problems don't exist.
Matan
Which problem exist?
Julian
You're talking about people that are, like, falling over.
Matan
The population problem doesn't exist in Asia.
Julian
No, no. Are you talking about, like, people that are actually falling over from being on fentanyl and like that?
Matan
No, from. From just not resting. Because.
Julian
Because they're not resting.
Matan
You haven't seen the videos of, like, the Japanese guys on the. On the subway?
Julian
I don't think I have, actually. Can we pull that up? Japanese guys falling over on subway video. Okay, let's see. This is a common thing. They just fall over.
Matan
I get, like, three of these videos a day.
Julian
Like that.
Matan
What does that mean?
Danny
Okay, Is this it right here?
Julian
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's grab it. Ever heard of the Oshia? Have you?
Matan
There it is.
Julian
This one. This is what you want? Don't worry about the volume, Danny. Oh, they're. Oh, they're trying to fit him into the sub.
Matan
Holy shit.
Julian
Look at him just pushing them in like a sardine. That's interesting, at least. Okay, go back and let's get the video. Matan once, because you saw it. Which one do you want?
Matan
Well, I don't. I don't see a video, but I see it says videos and photos of Japanese salary men falling over, passing out, or sleeping in unusual positions or. Subways are highly viral phenomena online. They're deeply tied to Japan's intense corporate culture.
Danny
And drinking. No.
Julian
So drinking habits, too. That's a drug.
Matan
Yeah, well, that's why I don't drink. I don't want to end up like a Japanese man sleeping on a bus.
Julian
Right, but we have that here, too, and I'll bet It's in that 150 million as well.
Matan
Yeah, that. Well, there's a lot more than 150 million people who live in the US and Europe.
Julian
I know.
Matan
We kind of had to cut it down a little bit.
Julian
Yeah, so you're automatically cutting down anyone who drinks?
Matan
Anyone who's an alcoholic that doesn't find their way home at night? Yes. Okay, you've been eliminated from my eugenics.
Julian
What if you just do it once?
Matan
You've just done that one time. Yeah.
Julian
Does that eliminate you, like if you have one like bender night?
Matan
Ideally, yes, but I feel like then we're not going to have enough people.
Julian
Yeah, yeah. See, there you go. That's true. Now, what is your master race look like? Is it like all one race or is it just strictly based on.
Matan
I don't think the culture hasn't progressed enough for me to get that racist. But maybe we can revisit that soon.
Julian
We can revisit that.
Matan
Yes.
Julian
Do you want them to look like you?
Matan
As I said, maybe we'll revisit soon.
Julian
But is that a possibility?
Matan
Maybe if Israel bombs like one more country.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
It'll progress to the point where we can start getting into the master race.
Julian
Would you go back to Israel at this point?
Matan
Go back. Get it. Do you think that would trick me? That stupid ass trick? If I was really a liar and I was from Israel, do you think that that would catch me? This whole sophisticated plan I've been doing this whole time, we get caught like that, maybe by an idiot skateboarder.
Julian
Probably wouldn't take much.
Matan
Clearly not.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
But also not really clearly.
Julian
Is that a Trump voice?
Matan
Does he say that?
Julian
I mean, the way you said that was a similar tone. You were going down on the.
Matan
You know, he does have great speaking patterns.
Julian
You like his speaking patterns?
Matan
Yeah.
Julian
Would he make your eugenics plan? He doesn't do drugs or drink.
Danny
Oh.
Matan
Would he get into the plan?
Julian
Yeah. Would he be like a pro creator for your eugenics?
Matan
We can do that.
Julian
We could do that.
Matan
I mean, I think it's going to be easier to find the men. Right. Sounds kind of women. Yeah. Because they're gonna have a lot more of an issue. The man is kind of like a one day process. Even thinking about this is a little.
Julian
What do you mean one day process?
Matan
I don't know if you know how having kids work, but you don't really. Oh.
Julian
One you're saying on the actual procreation
Matan
side, but you're saying it's easier for any male slaves. You know what I mean? Oh.
Julian
You would only make the slaves females because you'd have to require watching them for nine months while they are.
Matan
Actually you don't really need that with the men. So it sounds like the sexist eugenics plan, but really it's just practical.
Julian
I'm a practical guy, but you're practical guys.
Matan
It's all about being pragmatic and practical. So Always looking for the right solution to help everybody.
Julian
So are you saying you would only enslave the guys for like one day at a time here and there to, you know.
Matan
Unfortunately, I feel like they'd be happy to volunteer, as disgusting as that means.
Julian
Yeah. Did you talk to Bonnie Blue about that?
Matan
Well, that's a good example of it. I didn't talk to her about it. She certainly wouldn't make the eugenics plan.
Julian
She wouldn't make it, right? Yeah, it's a good call.
Matan
The brain is too screwed up. Yeah.
Julian
You didn't like her, right?
Matan
No, not particularly.
Julian
Yeah. Why'd you talk to her if you didn't like her? You were just interested.
Matan
I'm sure you have guests on your show all the time you don't like.
Julian
No, not that often. No.
Matan
You like me.
Julian
Yeah, I like you.
Matan
But not gay. Gay way, right?
Julian
Not in a gay way. No. Hard pause. That's right again. I thought you were into that so I'm happy stuff.
Matan
Yeah, yeah, we already went over that.
Julian
Yeah, we did.
Matan
See, this is why I don't run my podcasts for four hours because we just keep revisiting the same thing.
Julian
It's like, oh, but then I can catch you doing some.
Matan
You know, even caught me in a slip up. This whole time I think I've caught,
Julian
you know, a couple. You actually told me once that was good. And you fist bumped me.
Matan
What was it?
Julian
I don't remember. There's a lot going on today. What are you looking at?
Matan
Seeing if there's anything else to discuss.
Julian
You don't have any ideas?
Matan
I mean, I didn't prepare for this and honestly, that's good.
Julian
I don't want.
Matan
Usually I'll blame the guest for not prepare or the host when I guess on somebody show for not preparing enough. But we only scheduled this with like what, eight hours advance.
Julian
Yeah, I talked to you last night.
Matan
Yeah.
Julian
So I like to free will all of them though. How much do you freewheel versus like preparing? For years.
Matan
I'm very prepared.
Julian
It seems that way.
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
But then you have a lot of off the cuff stuff and you let it go on tangents, which is good. So the preparation is really just getting people going. And then you.
Matan
The preparation is the questions. I write questions down.
Julian
Do write them down. But then you.
Matan
Questions I need answers to.
Julian
Not always.
Matan
Well, always to me, or I wouldn't write it down.
Julian
Now, some of the questions I don't think you need the answer to. I think you just want them.
Matan
That's. That's what? What now? We're having an argument about wanting and needing.
Julian
Yeah. These are two different things.
Matan
Do I need to know if. If he's Epstein, for example. Mr. Epstein.
Julian
Right.
Danny
Yeah.
Matan
I don't really need to. I want to. I don't think I ever ask questions that I need to know the answer to to a guest on my show.
Julian
Why not?
Matan
Because I don't think those exist. I'm usually not in such a life situation where I need to ask a question. It's mostly just about wanting.
Julian
So you just do it because it's fun for you?
Matan
Yes.
Danny
Okay.
Julian
All right. One more question then.
Matan
Okay.
Julian
Do you think John Kiriaku is still in the CIA or not? Because you talk to him now. That's my boy.
Matan
It's a good question. I would say probably not. Probably he actually went to prison. Well documented.
Julian
That's right.
Matan
So unless he was. And, okay, assuming it wasn't a trick the whole time, he would have then had to rejoin them after not just exposing them for something that he didn't like doing, but then they basically put him in jail for it. Or alternatively, he was willing to actually go to jail for a long time, which neither seem as probable as just a. A guy who's not in the CIA anymore.
Julian
You ever hear a sheep dipping? No. That's where they. That's where you agree to do that purposely. It's like that scene.
Matan
Prison thing.
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
It's like I'm saying in the Departed
Matan
where he's like, it could happen. Yeah, it could happen.
Julian
Could.
Matan
But it seems like probably not.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
Yeah. I don't know. Also, if he's really swaying, like, public sentiments on any serious issues. He's just telling funny stories.
Julian
You don't think he's swaying any public sentiments? I might disagree with you there, because the funny stories open up the bar to him actually having a very big platform. And then when he's able to actually give opinion on things, people are listening.
Matan
Well, we're yet to see that then, though.
Julian
I think he's probably moved the needle on some things.
Matan
Such as?
Julian
For sure, I think he's moved the needle.
Matan
I'm not trying to say he's not influential, by the way. It just seems like most of the stuff he's talking about is, like, personal stories to him or stuff that's, like, mostly unproblematic. Like, hey, we probably shouldn't be torturing Arabs.
Julian
That's. That's unproblematic?
Matan
Mostly, yes. Why is that unproblematic that we shouldn't be torturing Arabs?
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
Are you Jewish?
Julian
No.
Matan
So then they should be.
Julian
But no. But you're saying why is. Maybe I'm misunderstanding. Why is it unproblematic to not want that to happen? That he's discussing that public publicly? Are you saying.
Matan
Well, I'm saying he's denouncing it. And that's not really a problematic position to say. You don't want to torture Arabs. You're not in general. Well, specifically Arabs, yeah.
Julian
They did it to a lot of Arabs. In that case, you're not going to
Matan
get a lot of comments like, hey, I was a fan of you, but now that you said you don't want to torture Arabs, I think I'm done watching.
Julian
But it might be. It might be ruffling the feathers of people who do want to do that.
Matan
I think that's a small segmented group that John Kiriakou, who exposed torturing Arabs in the government, is probably not worried about.
Danny
About.
Julian
I hope he's not worried about them. He certainly seems not to be.
Matan
Doesn't seem like it, but yeah. I don't know. I would guess that he's not in the CIA anymore. I liked him. He was a really nice guy. Maybe he fooled me, but I would guess not.
Julian
No, he was definitely off balance with you, which was cool.
Matan
Yeah.
Julian
So I was glad to see you do that one. What about Bustamante? You think he's still in.
Matan
Much more likely than. Far more possible.
Julian
I 100% think he's.
Matan
Then again, I think it's also far more possible that he. Maybe he wasn't even ever there really. I don't know.
Julian
He was there for sure.
Matan
Yeah. But what he. What he might have been in there seemed like debated upon and what. How high level his position is.
Julian
He wasn't crazy high up.
Danny
Yeah.
Julian
Frankly, he. And he's talked about it. His career really only. Really only ended up progressing because of who his wife was. His wife was like a high level targeter.
Matan
He seems like he might well be in the CIA still.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
You think he is 100. Have you spoken to him before, Ton?
Danny
Yeah. Really?
Matan
He comes on the show a bunch.
Julian
Yeah, I tell him every time since the beginning.
Matan
Do you think he's in the CIA? Yeah, I think I said the same thing to him and I think, yeah, he probably still is.
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
I don't get the same impression of that with John.
Julian
I agree. It would break my heart if John was actually still in CIA.
Matan
Yeah, that would be unfortunate.
Julian
It would be very unfortunate. Yeah. Would you disband the whole CIA?
Matan
These band?
Julian
Yeah.
Matan
Get rid of it.
Julian
Like Kennedy.
Matan
What's the purpose?
Julian
Well, there's a lot of people who are like, well, they've gotten way too out of control. They take advantage of every single constitutional.
Matan
I'm really just not informed enough to really answer that question.
Julian
If that's a great answer.
Matan
Disband the CIA. I feel like that probably involves so many intricate problems that would solve and create that I can't answer that.
Julian
Okay. Are you gonna fix my table before you leave?
Matan
Well, it doesn't really seem like this melted your table.
Julian
Well, it definitely left a stain on it.
Matan
To remember me by.
Julian
Not to remember you by. I don't want to.
Matan
You want me to buy you a 30 wooden plank?
Julian
It's not there. It's more than that. And I'd like you to come in here and actually rebuild that part personally and put the ceiling on. I'll give you the ceiling. I have it back there.
Matan
You can go yourself.
Julian
No, I won't do that. Okay, you're gonna.
Matan
You're gonna come back, and then we're in. Pass.
Julian
Okay.
Matan
Okay.
Julian
You can get the out of my studio now.
Matan
Don't do a pretend. That means we're having some.
Julian
No, no, that's okay. We're not. I don't. But it wasn't nice to see you.
Matan
Okay, we're doing this. We're doing, like, a fake bit at the end.
Julian
Oh, a fake bet.
Matan
Julian Skateboarder is mad his stupid friend over there still doesn't know why he's here.
Julian
Yeah, we'll leave that up to people to decide if I'm actually mad. We're faking it. I think they know I'm faking it. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they know.
Matan
And what's the point? You thought I would play along? No, I'm not a faker, guy. I don't fake.
Julian
You don't fake anything.
Matan
Nope.
Julian
You didn't change your personality at all after you walked in here. You just move that to me.
Matan
You think I acted differently outside?
Julian
Yes.
Matan
Did we even have a conversation that lasted 30 seconds?
Julian
It was about.
Matan
I said, hey, nice to meet you. Where's the bathroom?
Julian
It was about. Well, there was. There were a couple other commentary in there.
Matan
What did I say outside?
Julian
Asking me, oh, so you live here and record here?
Matan
I was like, yeah, that seems like a reasonable question. I would ask you this on this show. That's not.
Julian
Yeah, but it wasn't in this voice or.
Matan
That's tenor.
Julian
And you weren't wearing that jacket. You were wearing a T shirt.
Matan
Yeah, because I had just had my hat on when I was outside because I didn't want.
Julian
So this is hat head for you.
Matan
What does that mean?
Julian
I mean, it's. That's a pretty good hat head right there, if you had a hat on.
Matan
Oh, well, I. I see what you're saying. Yeah, sure, I guess so.
Julian
Okay. All right, Matan, in all seriousness, thanks for coming. I appreciate you, bro. Everybody else, you know what it is. Give it a thought back to me. Peace. Oh, you're funny, bro.
Matan
That's it.
Julian
That's it.
Matan
That was great. Did you think it was good?

Summary in a Nutshell:
A satirical masterclass in podcast mayhem—if Seinfeld directed a Mossad-themed fever dream starring a deadpan Internet troll and a host determined to keep up. Add Lysol, Epstein bits, and a live bathroom break. Nothing is sacred, but everything’s fair game for a laugh.
