And I was like, well I already prepaid so I'm gonna wait. But like should I wait here? I'm in shorts and like a T shirt and it's like 8 o' clock at night. So it's like the fancy dining hour. And I'm double park shop for the valet at Capitol Girl. They're like, you can just park it here. And I'm like oh my God, thank you so much. Because the parking is like down. It's like a whole thing. And I was like, well I prepaid it. So I'm like well do you want to wait in the waiting area? And I was like, cause I had the shorts on. I was like, well I'll just like wait in the car, like if that's what you want to do. I was like okay. But then the guy who brought it out and he seemed, I don't know, they're all, they were fine. She was fine. I think she was just like probably annoyed that I was. I wasn't even annoyed at. Anyways, whatever. I had to get home, right? And I was like, the fact that it was a 45 minute wait for food. I was like, I was like okay. And I was just like. But I brought home, you know what the girls loved that steak. We ate that filet me, Elvis and Malibu. We chowed on that fillet. It was so good.

So they do have a stylist, and the stylist helps those ones that don't have, like, a big wardrobe. Like, maybe, like, Natalie got a lot of help. Rob Roche got everything he wore was from the stylist. A lot of the gamers got help. But the housewives, of course, you know, they got their own stylist. And Colton has his own stylist. Mark, Kristen. A lot of people brought their own stuff. Season 44. That was like two years ago. I think it's gonna be three years now in May, because now season 50 is gon airing, which is like a super milestone for survivor or any show. Any show that has 50 seasons.

Crazy. I remember when it first started, like, the first season. That's why I was like, how old are you? Did you remember when it first started? You don't say how old you are, but you remember. Okay, I do too. And I was like, how is this 50 seasons? I guess they do like two sometimes.

They do two per year. I was 13, and I remember my parents were divorced, and they came back and we just. They just bought this house. Was huge house, House of dreams. And we're sitting in the floor because we had no furniture. We just moved in, just the tv. And this is the first show that come on that summer. And we're watching this show. He's eating pizza, and I'm like, I need to be part of this somehow. I could not stop talking about it from the beginning.

So are you an outdoorsy person?

So I was like, I'm gonna be part of it. And my life just continued. And I was like. I studied communication at Syracuse University because I thought that was gonna be my way in. Then I live in New York City for, like, four years, but I was like, this is never gonna happen. And then I moved to Puerto Rico, and I applied one time, telling them that I was living in New York with my driver's license because they were not open Puerto Rico applications.

Wait, really?

So they got me into the process because it was Covid and now they had, like, the 50% vibe cop. You have to be, like, 50% of the cast have to be people of color.

Yeah.

Yeah. So I was like, I think this is my way in. And they called me, and as soon as they called me, I bought my flint because on Survivor, you have to do fire. And I said to myself, I'm gonna win. And I said to myself every day in the mirror, you're gonna win Survivor. You're gonna win Survivor. You're gonna win Survivor. And I got on it, and I won't.

That is crazy. So you really did, like, manifest it just by speaking it to existence?

Yes.

Okay. I literally. Okay. I want to, like, start with, like, the lore so you get it. You got onto fire. You said you had to bring your own flint so you knew how to start a fire.

They only give you now a pot, a machete and a flint. A machete that you have to earn. Yes. Because you're in the junior. There's no open buffet and, like, catering. You have to do your own thing. You're eating papaya, snails, worms.

What are you using the machete on the snail?

Because you're doing. You're doing the shelter. You're chopping the wood to, like, burn it.

Well, if you find a pig, that would be amazing. But there's no pigs. There's goats. But on Fiji, you cannot touch goat because they're, like, sacred. So there's goats around. You can get the chicken. But we never got chicken.

Because you earn them on challenges, and in my season, they were like. They got us very little things on the rewards, and we were, like, literally starving. I lost 42 pounds on my game.

I was having so Much fun.

No. I mean, I was hungry, but I knew everybody was hungry. I was like, everyone? If everybody's hungry, I can be hungry.

And then some people won rewards and they got food. And then I got mad once they started eating.

How do they get that food in there?

But like, how do they fly it in, like helicopter or what?

So production, it's like a hundred people production, it's like over there. So when they have this department where if there's a reward, it's always cold. It looks pretty, but it's like been sitting there for hours.

Which you would take though, I guess, if you're starving.

Yes. I got one time I got sandwiches. Like we did like pedicures, which is very amazing because I own a hair salon. So I got a pedicure while playing Survivor.

Was it worth it or I'd rather have like a pizza, I feel than a pedicure.

It came with food, so I was really happy.

Oh, it came with. Okay. I was like, you got one or.

The other I'm gonna see with macaroons and everything. A little like tea sandwiches. I was, I was like, tea sandwich.

Yeah, take me to a food court. And then at the final, we got this breakfast that we get to cook ourselves, which is cool.

It's really cool. So they give you like some bacon.

Like put it over there the last day. It's always like part of the thing on survey. If you get there to the last day, you get the finale breakfast which is like all the things you need to do at breakfast. Egg, bacon, avocado bread. And they bring you like a griddle. So you put on top of your fire, they bring you a champagne bottle. Wow. But our final three was with Carolyn. Carolyn w Traders from last season and she doesn't drink, so it was more for me.

That's why he won. Everyone's like, we love that. Is that to me, the hunger part would get me. I did big brother and I self evicted because they weren't like there wasn't enough food in the house. I was like, I can't eat.

I saw plea that they were gonna give you a pizza but you could not have safety or something. Yeah.

Like put yourself up for eviction. I'm like done and done. Give me that pizza. And it still wasn't enough. But I still was get me out of here. It really affected me. I was 10 days in, and I was like, I need to go, you know? So that's crazy that you. That means you have very strong, like, willpower. You don't have, like, a food addiction or anything.

Poop in the ocean. Bring it. So that's, like, my thing. And everybody was like, did you? I was like, that was the best. I did it after I came home. When I was going to the beach, I would go to the beach, because, you know, in Puerto Rico, there's popular beaches, but there are ones that are, like, less people, and I would just go into the water and do it.

You know what? People should assume that in an ocean anyways, that people are just peeing and pooping in there. Like, that's probably an assumption everyone can make.

You need to wipe.

Oh, it's like a bidet all over nature's bidet. Yeah, it's just, like, soaked in a bidet.

It's not my most glamorous aspect in life, but it happens, okay?

It's real. And honestly, can I tell you, too, I'm also someone who's like, I don't love to shower. That does kind of sound nice not to, like, go into a shower, you know, just kind of bathe in the ocean.

I'm gonna wait. It's disgusting. That part is bad. That part is bad. I would go into the water every day, but some people didn't go in for the whole month, and they were smelly. Oh, no.

I would try wear every day in the water, in the ocean and then at the water. Well, I would do, like, my beard, and that's how I did a lot of my alliances. I would go with the girls that had long hair to the water world in the morning. Like, do my beard, but talk with them. And then I would go with the boys to the water and the ocean and watch myself. And I had my little cruise.

[Trisha Paytas]

I was gonna say, how do you think? Like, obviously you, like, said it out loud that you were gonna win, but was there, like, a strategy? Was it just, like, be nice to everyone, like, be friends with everybody, and then you'd have no enemies.

[Jam Jam (Survivor and Traitors winner)]

That's a hundred percent how I went for it because I wanted to be, like, super social, know what everybody was doing and not be a threat. So I would be going, someone's like, oh, my God. I heard this about me. What do you think? And then people say, no, don't worry. This is what we're doing. I was like, oh, thank you. And then I would go to the other person and say, like, oh, my God. I think it's happening because this person told me this is happening. But I think it's being said, no, no, no. It's not what this person is doing. This is what we're doing. So I would get everybody information even though I was a threat because everybody liked me in the middle way of the game. In the middle part, when it merged at the beginning, that threat went away really fast because I made myself vulnerable.

[Trisha Paytas]

Yeah.

And then people thought that they had to protect me. Oh, no. Jam. Jam is with us. Is our number. He would never. No, it's okay. He's not gonna, like, why would he win? He's like, just, jam, Jam. You know, he's having fun and he's a number. So we, Carolyn and I and Carson, from being the bottom of the three tribes, three people versus five and six, we got all the way to the final four.

[Trisha Paytas]

Wow. Wow. And so by the end, because, like, Carolyn didn't have enemies either. They're just kind of just like, chill and going.

They didn't believe she did a good game and she didn't sell it for. I thought she had a great game. But at the final tribal council, you have to talk with the jury, and she was, like, saying nothing.

Yeah. Well, you're good. You're good at people just liking you. I would vote for you. Even if you backstabbed me, I'd be like, give it a jm.

You know what I mean? I told them. I was like, this happened. This happened, this happened. And I backstabbed everyone, but I told them why, and they respected that. Yeah.

So, okay, so did you try to use that same strategy going into traders?

Traders. So hard, girl.

Is it. I love it.

So hard. Because there's. It's two parts of the game. Of course, everybody sees, like, there's the traitors and there's the faithfuls.

When I got there and I started, I saw everything that was on the table. The black roses, the cards, the tarot cards, the different chalices and chairs. I was like, I think something might go down, but I'm not gonna follow anybody's instruction. I'm not gonna take what everybody tells me to do. I'm not gonna drink it, I'm not gonna eat it, and I'm not gonna sit what they tell me to sit with it.

So you kind of were aware then.

Yes. But then Lisa walks in with this amazing outfit.

And Lisa and I were friends. I mean, I think Lisa. Lisa is one of the most amazing persons in the whole cast. Yeah. I mean, I love Rob. I love Natalie. I love, like, a lot of people. But I found her so special because since I was a kid, a big reality TV fan, Lisa has been part of the reality tv.

She is the most iconic, for sure.

So I was, like, into her so much that when I see her walk in, I was like, oh, my God, you look amazing. And then she goes like, oh, the brooch pins. She was like, let me help you. Isn't that stupid?

They didn't put a game player as a traitor that season the first time. Cause Carolyn was right. Carolyn was a traitor. That is kind of wild that they didn't do that.

First season, they got Serie. That one. She's from Survivor. Second season they had Parvati, and they also had a big brother guy from first season was a big brother guy. And Ceri Serie won. Second season they had a big brother, another big brother guy that brought in Parvati, which is from Survivor. Third season they had Carolyn and Rob, Boston Rob and Danielle from Big Brother.

So everybody's all game players.

The beginning of the end. Yeah. Which I mean. Yeah, I guess it just. You just don't know when you're in that house. Like, I just don't know how you could ever get a who's who. Like, you just have no idea.

It was like, no, Donna. I got minute one. As soon as I saw her come out of the car.

But I said, like, because Lisa and I had connected, or I felt I connected personally, like in the cars and stuff, when she was talking to me in the banquet, it felt so much extra. And I say in the episode, there's something about your eyes. There's, like, stars in your eyes and the way you're talking to me. But it was that she was acting with me. It became Lisa the housewife or Lisa the actress. And that's why I felt something happened, that it was not what. It was normal for me. And that's why I started screaming. It was her.

Yeah, you, like, felt okay, because that was chaotic. So are they actually, like, dragging you?

Oh, my God. They pull the chair away. It's super heavy. And they start grabbing me, like, from their armpits. And they're like, I thought I was going like this, but I was walking.

I meet traitors in Scotland in the castle with 22 people that I've known since I'm, like, 13 years old. I was like, of course I'm gonna be excited.

So what happens with the gamers? They don't trust each other. Because I go like, I'm not a traitor. You must be a traitor. Or you or you or you. And everybody has the same energy. So that brings down the gamer. The ability of gamers to work with each other.

But even if there was a traitor in there, I'd like it would be like let's just all gamer stick together and get the other. Especially like the random ones like the Michael Rappaport. He has no one. You know what I mean? You could have just easily gotten those people out and stuck with Survivor big brother to the end.

Exactly. But the first two murders were gamers, so there's three left. And then one of the gamers, Tiffany, comes for me and then my group of friends protect me and we banish her. So it's only Natalie and I left left and we Were working together.

So it's, it's a weird spin on like the web and Twitter and stuff and chat. BCC was like why gamers did not work together but we never had a chance.

I think it is hard though now for the gamers after I guess kind of after Parvati season. Right. Because like the traders being so like gamer focused and so like strategic now. People are going to be suspicious. Like if you're going there, I feel like you'll be suspicious of anyone who's on Survivor.

If they work together. But they don't because they, they're, they're not game players and they have no strategy, which is me. But I would know also with someone. But that's why I said even for drag racing you have some more drag like some more queens in there.

Because it's not fair. It's just like one. And if you're like in the same show like you know you just kind of like have that like camaraderie and stuff like that. With COVID Yeah. There were no vaccines yet, but it was.

I started to cry because even though it's not me, I got to do Survivor and I got to do Traders, being Puerto Rican and being one of the few people and do whatever I did with the shows. So I was like, this dude is doing it, like, in a way that it's obviously magnified and so powerful and the number one in the world right now. And I was like, yeah, go. You go, bad bunny. You go, Benito. You do it for us. So, yeah, I got really emotional. It was really special.

It was. Yeah. It was, like, so beautiful and so impactful.

It was so tasteful, the way he incorporated everything about that's going on without being, you know, to in your face, which would have been understood. But I thought it was great and just the education.

We were saying like, like the stuff I didn't know about Puerto Rico. Right. Like there was the. Everyone showing the Easter eggs of it of like, you know, the electricity and the power outage. I like didn't know about all that stuff. And it was crazy. It's cool because it was so beautiful to watch. It was very. To me, I love theatrical ness and it was cool. And then getting to learn about Puerto Rico too. When you don't know that much about it.

And people in a game, this is, this is normally for everything in life. But in a game, when you are trying to do something else that is not 100% who you are. It comes across as fake, and then it just brings people not to trust you.

I already know I won. And then this guy Mike Gabler wins and says, I'm donating my million dollars. And I'm like, not this mother. Saying he donated the million right before I'm supposed to win my million. Hell no, dude. Why you did that to me? And Then. Then when I won, everybody was like, what are you going? So, what are you gonna do with your million?

I'm keeping it. Honestly. Same. I'm like, I have an expensive lifestyle. Oh, yeah. Same, same. I'm like, I got kids that's going to the kids. That's why you want.
