And it's like, no, Monday and Wednesdays, I really do pack my schedule as tight as possible because that is the day that I like my work days. So I felt like it was a good use of it, you know?

Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking too. Because I was like, we could have done this on a day we didn't do the podcast. But I'm like, that means I have to like glam another day. And like I said, I like to get use of my glam and just get the bang for the buck. So I have a full like 15 hour day. Cause then afterwards I'll be going to Pilates and I have to get my spray tan for tomorrow's event. And then, you know, it's like a full day. So it's like never stopping. And then my glamour's just like, wow, you really pack it in. I'm like, yeah. Cause then the other days you get like, yesterday we just did nothing. Yeah, but I love. But I was doing the same thing. I was like, I need to be glam for the photos. Cause normally I wouldn't care. When I go to amusement parks, I just like, whatever. Actually, that's not true. I guess I glam it. I guess I do love a photo op too. Well, I'm very excited. I am very excited for this.

Like, everyone's like, you need to go. Yep. So I. I am. I'm seated. I'm ready to be. I'm ready to be Brat. Cause that is what the movie's about. I know it's like, past brat era, but that's what the movie's about. It's about post Brat. Open that.

But now I feel like it's, like, less intimidating because it's not as fierce. You know, no one's shoving at the Charlie concert to do the Apple dance. It's, like, safe.

Right? Right. I feel that way, too. I didn't realize, like, it was such, like, party, like, because I only knew the apple one, too, and apple's just like. And that's, like, cutesy. I was like, okay. It's like a cutesy little dance, but then when you really get into the Charlie lore, it's just, you know, three, six, five.

Yeah. So I'm ready to channel that tomorrow, today. And, yeah, I'll get a spray tan even. I'm very excited for that. I really. Is it from RuPaul where he's like, if you stay ready, you don't have to get ready? I really should have been on this grind, you know, I'm always this person like, the day before, I'm like, I need to lose weight before tomorrow. And I was like, oh, I should have just been doing that since the beginning of the year. But yesterday, on our day out, because I still didn't know I was gonna go because, like, in the morning, I already planned Max and Helen's to get up at, like, 5am to go to Max and Helen's. And then we had the pancakes and the waffles. And then I realized I'm going to this premiere, and I'm like, do I even fit into any of my dresses? I don't know, but I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

It's so brat to not fit into your dress. I will stand by that.

Yeah, I am. I am. Because, like, no, look, here's the thing. Like, I'm totally fine with everything, but I. Yesterday was just a day of eating, but anyways, it doesn't matter. Who cares? We went to Max and Helen's. It was, you know, it was okay. Do you know what I mean?

Like, the bar was high.

The bar was too high. You know, we drove about two hours in traffic to get there, and then we got to get up at 5am and it was, like, this whole thing. I was, like, really excited. Yeah. And then you go, and then you're kind of like, well, I've had this food before. I probably didn't need to get up at 5am to get this. But, yeah, I did eat the pancakes. The pancakes and waffles were good, and I had everything, but the pink and waffle were good. The hot chocolate everyone loves tasted like. It was good, but it tasted like literal hot fudge just going down your throat like a thick hot fudge.

Oh, chocolate syrup. And they put a little bit of water.

[Trisha Paytas]

That's what it tastes. Oh, that's a perfect example. Like, when you put chocolate syrup on your mouth, like, that's what it tastes like. It was crazy. Look, I like it. I'm here for the gag of it all. You're here for the hype of it all. If you're waiting three hours for any restaurant, I would say you're a little crazy. Maybe don't do that. I'm glad I went. I've been thinking about it nonstop. I'm glad I went, But I don't know.

Some people have extra time, you know?

That's true. I used to wait. Didn't we wait at a Cheesecake Factory for, like, three hours one time?

[Moses]

But not by choice. It was one of those. It was like the boiling frog, you know? It's like, we waited a little bit.

You know, and where's the boiling frog?

[Moses]

Like, the water slowly gets warmer, but it doesn't. It doesn't know. Like. Like, we didn't. They didn't tell us. You're gonna wait two hours. It was, like, 20 minutes, 30 minutes. 40 minutes. Was 45. We're like, it's been 45 minutes. We've been out there 15 more minutes. Another. Oh, was that how slowly, slowly we. And. And then it was too late to leave. After an hour, we're like, okay, we've been here for an hour.

Why did we wait?

We're not gonna go somewhere else, right?

Once you're, like, that far into it, you're like, well, might as well see.

It was. It was.

Why was. It. It was the Marino Del Rey Cheesecake Factory. And I'm, like, just trying to figure out why there was such a wait.

I think they were just insanely busy. And also, it was deceiving because you didn't see all the people outside. Some of them were waiting in their car. Some of the, like, people were just not. Like, suddenly people will show up to their reservation and walk in.

[Trisha Paytas]

Oh, maybe that was it.

[Moses]

Yeah, it was, but it wasn't said people are. People were going crazy outside.

[Trisha Paytas]

And then there was, like, a rat in the back. Remember? We, like, finally got to sit outside, and then there was, like. It was on the beach, to their credit. And you know how I feel about rats in a restaurant. It's like, it just happens. There's trash, there's food. A Rat's gonna get in there. But I remember everyone was making a big deal and it was like a Saturday night. It was popping and the waiters were just like. Which is kind of crazy. The wait staff has to deal with that. It's like, we don't want this rat in here either, but they have to go catch it. That's kind of crazy. But, yeah, I guess we've waited in line before. So who are we?

[Moses]

Yeah, but not by choice. Not because of hype or anything. Out of desperation. We're just like, we're not going to a different place.

Yeah. I feel like you don't really have to wait for restaurants. I remember back in the day, you go to, like, Red Lobster, you have to wait like, two hours. But you don't have to do that unless we just go for lunch. I guess we don't wait. Do you wait in line?

Not in a long time. Yeah. I usually. I'm now at the age where I'm like an off hours kind of girl. I'm like, I think in Google Maps, it even shows you, like, for businesses, the.

Yeah. If it's busy.

Yeah.

If it's busier when the peak hours are. So I plan my day accordingly to avoid as many crowds as possible. The last line I remember waiting in that was like, truly a huge line was the Kylie Jenner pop up Shop. Like her first pop up shop. And that was like a whole day fiasco. Like, that line was long. It went through the entire Topanga Mall. And I think it was like five hours.

Lip kit. Was it the lip kit? What was it?

[Jimmy]

It was when she launched her, like, clothing line, kind of. She had a shirt that was. That's like realizing stuff. Because she talked about her New Year's resolution. This must have been like 2017 or 2016. She was like, I'm so excited for New Year's. Like, the new year. I'm just all about, like, realizing stuff, and that's what I want to do in the new year. And I was like, it was so fierce. So she was just selling like, King Kylie merch. It was like King Kylie era.

And you waited in line so long. What'd you get?

I kind of blacked out by the time I went in there. So that's the problem. You wait so long that by the time you get in, you're like, you're in a tizzy. You're like, okay, I waited, so I got to get my money's worth. So I was getting everything. I got like a T shirt, sweatshirts. Oh, yeah.

And this is the worst thing to tell someone who was like, bigger. Like, people always tell me this too is like. But you carried it well. Like, you know, and I, like, I feel like I can't like, you know, and I don't think anyone carries it not well. But it's just like when you're bigger, some. Some people look good bigger. And I feel like you look great bigger. And I know you're happier smaller like this, but I'm just saying you look way bigger. And me too. I gotta be nice to myself because I was like, I know I look good, but, you know, sometimes the Internet can be mean.

What are you excited for? For the Grammys.

Justin Bieber was just announced as a performer this morning, so I'm very excited to see. I'm out of nowhere. He's been. I mean, obviously has Coachella coming up, but other than that, he's been pretty low key, like, performance wise. Right. I can't really remember his last, like, major performance.

[Moses]

Yeah, the one that he joined.

[Trisha Paytas]

Yeah, yeah. The one that kind of went a little off the.

[Jimmy]

Which one was that he was.

[Trisha Paytas]

Was he with. He was with somebody. He was duetting with somebody and he kind of was a little.

[Jimmy]

Oh, I think Sza. Yeah, yeah. He was a special guest at Scissors Concert. Yeah.

I think I was like.

[Jimmy]

But I'm excited to see him at this own production and stuff. I was even thinking about, like, who am I excited to see? Like, at the Grammys, I was like, who's gonna be my muse? Because when I'm covering, I always have to have like, someone to get excited for where, like I look in the odd, like in the audience footage to see. Oh, who's interacting with who. And I'm like, I think Hailey Bieber is going to be my muse. I think I'm really going to be looking for her in the crowd footage. And we have like producers and stuff inside that. I'm like, you better be. I don't care about what's on stage. You be filming the crowd and see the reaction, see who's dancing, see who's standing up and clapping. And I think Hailey Bieber is going to be. Yeah. The focus. Like, I want to see what she's into, who she vibes with. I don't think she has any ops. I think all her ops will not be there. No Selena, no Taylor. So I think she'll be in the clear.

I was gonna say I thought she had ops, but they're not gonna be there.

[Jimmy]

Yeah.

And how does that work that you get the raw footage from them?

[Jimmy]

Yeah. Well, the Grammys will usually upload randomly, like crowd clips, YouTube channel. And then, yeah, we have like producers who'd like upload on icloud to a shared folder.

[Trisha Paytas]

Like, who'll be the one to find the reaction? Me. Really? Well, that's a good. A good eye. Because you know what I always think of, like the one with Nicole Kidman clapping like this and like, who even noticed that? Who even was like, let's focus on that, you know?

[Jimmy]

Yeah, I'm very locked into to the audience footage. That's where it's at. That's where I feel like that's what people want to see too. Because obviously everyone has access to the performances and the speeches and stuff. But the real tea is what's happening when they're sitting down and they just.

[Trisha Paytas]

You said. You said at one they can just like, never, ever let the camera up from like Haley Bieber. They just focus on her the whole time.

[Jimmy]

Yeah, VMA is. Is kind of the. The biggest crowd filmer, I guess, because when Taylor was there last, last, they're literally they literally just had a live stream and they called it Taylor Cam, and they had a live stream of her in the crowd the entire time, which is, like, kind of crazy.

[Trisha Paytas]

Were people loving it or were they annoyed by it? Like, oh, okay.

[Jimmy]

It was, like, an optional thing. Like, you had to go online to access it. But I imagine it would kind of be annoying if, like, you're the one that's being filmed the entire time. Ariana was also a big focus at the VMAs this last year. I know they were like, VMAs were on her a lot. It'll be interesting to see this year, like, who they're focused on. Usually Taylor's just very reactive, and she stands up and she dances for everyone. But this year, I'm like, I don't know who's going to be. I think Hailey Bieber will kind of be the tea. I think Cat's Eye will probably be T2. They also are very, like, reactive.

And they're performing.

Yeah, they're gonna be performing as well.

I'm surprised they're not your muse. You love the cat size.

I do, but I think it's harder with them because there's, like, this six. So, yeah, it's kind of. It's a little bit harder to focus on. And I know with them too. They're just, like, so sweet of them. It is quite short. But a lot of their songs are not that long. Like, Cat's Eye songs are usually like two and a half minutes anyway. So, yeah, it'll be short and fierce, I guess.

I love a short and furious song. All my songs I cut down to, like, 90 seconds on tour because I feel the same way. Like, as much as I love somebody, sometimes I do think, even if they have the best voice, I feel like it's going on for too long. I'm like, this is too long. Cut the song.

Yeah. I think in Grammys in particular, they have so many performances and the show is so long. I think it's over three hours. So it can kind of drag if, like, there's one song that's just going on too long. Because they really don't announce that many awards during the actual show. Because it's like 70, 80 performance.

I think that's why I tune out of the Grammys. I feel like I don't love music, so I'm like, I don't wanna.

Another artist, though, that has been getting a lot of backlash this week is Harry Styles, which kind of gagged me. The Harry Stands have been upset because he announced his tour kinda, and residency at Madison Square Garden.

Oh, you going?

No, because it's. Here's the. The gag because the tickets are over a thousand dollars starting for one ticket.

[Trisha Paytas]

Starting.

[Jimmy]

Yeah. Like, they say that the range starts, like, at. What did they claim? They claimed it started, like over, like at 100 something. But every. Fans, when they were buying tickets, all the. The lowest price they were able to find was a thousand dollars. And it's for lower bolts. Not even like pit. It was like lower bowls. Like a thousand dollars. They. The tickets were claimed to be from $50 to a thousand. $182. But no one was able to find tickets that were that cheap.

[Trisha Paytas]

Wow.

[Jimmy]

Yeah. So like lower bowl was a thousand dollars and fans were really upset.

[Trisha Paytas]

Yeah. I feel like this is a trend. Right. Not trying, but I think everyone's like going up in price for tickets.

[Jimmy]

Yeah. And even like in the UK and like in Europe and stuff. Those tickets when he was on tour previously, they were like around 150, 200, and then now again they're like 800. Yeah. So people were really upset with Harry.

[Trisha Paytas]

Oh, no. People can check now the dots to see how things are selling.

[Jimmy]

It has been selling really well. He actually broke the. The record for Ticketmaster, like pre. Pre sale registries, like people trying to get tickets. So it has been selling well. But a lot of fans were really upset because of the price difference from his pass tour to this tour and because the residency at Madison Square Garden means he's not traveling. So then fans are also having to fly to New York.

[Trisha Paytas]

Right.

[Jimmy]

And pay for like travel and expensive. Yeah. And obviously New York in general, like just eating and like even traveling there is expensive. So it is kind of. Yeah. It's been a little crazy.

[Trisha Paytas]

I guess it's like supply and demand. I guess it's like people just want the tickets. So it's got to be more. But again. Yeah. This time right now where like people are not affording anything. Like what certain people can go. That kind of sucks.

[Jimmy]

I know. So it's been crazy to see the backlash because people like, okay, Benson Boone, come back. Back flipping over here. Yeah. Tucker, role model. Come on. I'll be the Sally girl. The fans have really been on Harry. There's this one tweet of him for like, I think 2012 where it's like he's quoting that Jesse J song. It's not about the money, money, money we don't need your money, money, money.

[Trisha Paytas]

I love that song.

[Jimmy]

And then he tweeted that, the lyrics and he put a little happy face. And everyone's been quote, tweeting that and they're like, what happened to this, Harry? What happened? I guess it is about the money. They are so upset. I get a thousand for one ticket.

That's crazy.

And that's not a meet and greet.

No. And it's not even like the best seat in the house. It's like a mid. A mid tier ticket is $1,000.

And that's not resale. That's just like their site.

[Jimmy]

Yeah. That is the price up Wild. And it kind of goes Back and forth. Like, I do think artists have some say, right, in their tickets because, yes, Olivia Dean, she's one of the best new artist nominees. Obviously she's smaller compared to Harry Styles, but her tickets were. Ticketmaster was pricing her tickets for, like, hundreds of dollars. And like, when people brought it to her attention, she tweeted, she's like, these are not the prices that I said that, that they should do. And she had Ticketmaster change the price and make it more affordable. And then Ticketmaster said it was a glitch, but coincidental that, like, she got the best new artist nomination and then they try to price her tickets.

[Trisha Paytas]

Yeah, yeah, they do ask you. I don't know. There's something and it's like, you just have to tell them, like, no, like, cap it. Like, can't be this much because there is, like, those things and there's just, like, less money. I remember they asked me to. They're like, I forget what it's called. It's something like if there's more demand in one city, it's more money pricing. Yes. I think it's that. And then, like, you can choose to shut that off, which is like, what I did.

[Jimmy]

Yeah.

[Trisha Paytas]

Yeah, I think you can.

[Moses]

Yeah.

I think you definitely have a say. Definitely. Because you do a free concert if you wanted to.

[Jimmy]

Like, that's why I'm very selective about concerts now because they are so expensive.

Yeah.

And even like a tail like Taylor Swift, her ticket, her concert was like three and a half hours, I think for her for like the vip, which is just like the floor seat and you get like, merch or whatever. I paid 600 and I think Sabrina was also 600.

Wow.

And Chapel, she was like, very, very. She didn't use Ticketmaster. She is another service. But she was very, like, adamant about, like, the price, about it being like one set price. I think it was like 115.

[Trisha Paytas]

Wow, that's really great. Yeah.

[Jimmy]

She was, like, adamant. There was no. You could like, choose to upgrade to, like the VIP or whatever. So it was twice as much. But like every. The general mission was just one set price and you couldn't be like, reselling it for more or whatever. Like, she was like, very specific. So, yeah, in this day and age, pricing that much, especially when you're doing that many dates in Madison Square Garden.

I think he's doing 30.

That's a big residency.

Yeah. I feel like costs would be less because you're not traveling either.

So you build a set once, and that's kind of it. I will say, I've heard Madison Square Garden. Well, obviously New York is just like. Yeah, he probably does that because, like, in general, at least in my experience, like New York, you don't really make money there because everything's like, union and it's just, like, a lot. It's just really high fees for everything. So maybe he's thinking that. I don't know. But at the end of the day, it's like, I guess you're doing it for money, but, I mean, I don't know. And it says there is some weird.

Tea, too, with, like, his new manager, or, like, Irving Azoff is like, the. The company. They own Madison Square Garden as well. So that also is kind of tea, because if they own it, his management's getting money from it. So there are some stunts and shenanigans going on, I think.

Yeah. Yeah. It sucks. That sucks.

I know. And I. I haven't seen Harry in a while. I saw him for his first two albums at the Forum, and I think that was the last time I saw him. And then when he was with One Direction, I saw him like, three times.

No. I'm, like, so specific about concerts, though. Like, I have to be like, they have to be my number one, top of the roster. Like, and that's very selective these days. It would be the obvious. Yeah. So her look is, like, pretty, like, drastic. I mean, she's a very creative girl. You know, like, she makes music, she listens to a lot of K pop and she watched a lot of anime, so she is very influenced by that.

And her parents are like, literally Kim and Kanye, like, two of the most, like, unique people out there.

She's like kind of like, no. And she keeps walking. And then they post it. I'm like, yeah, that's not normal because that's a child.

And I was at the mall.

Was she by herself? Who was she with? Like, friends?

She was with an adult. I don't know who, though, but I saw that too. She was like, at the. At the mall, like, by the Cheese factory.

No. That's so weird for, like, an adult to go up to, like, a child. That's so weird. No, absolutely not. But they're never normal. Like, they'll never like, even the Lion King. Everyone was so pissed about that. They're like, what the hell? Like, so I'm assuming if she's wearing a girl, I'm sure people have something to say about them. Love her. Be even blue hair. People are like, what the hell? Like, people do get so up in arms.

Yeah. She got asked about her grills, like, when she was on Live because people were like, why? Why are your teeth black? And she said, are we okay? Like, this is just temporary. I can take them out. She went, I guess, controversially, I guess she had like a piercing on her, like, finger right here. And people were really upset about that for some reason. And she ended up like, releasing a song about, like, why she dresses the way she dresses.

Oh, so she has. She, like, puts out music.

Yeah. Like, she does it herself. Not, like, officially. I think she just, like, posts it herself, but she makes music and, like, posts it.

I got in trouble school because public school wouldn't let you have them. But like, kids always do. I always had like fake piercings. Those like magnetic piercings I'd always put in my ears and nose. Like, kids just are that. They just express themselves.

Yeah. And it's. It's so I feel like people are generally pretty judicious about like commenting about celebrity kids and stuff. But I. The Kardashians, I think people feel maybe more entitled to for some reason, I guess because they share so much.

But she's still only 12.

Yeah. You know, so like anything you say about child's like, weird.

It'd be weird if I was like, I love Ellie, but you know, there's probably some weird people out there that are like fans of children, which is weird. But. But also, what is she. As a mom. Like, she is. She doesn't like. Of course she has a lot of help, but she's very Much, like, with them a lot. Even if she's working, she'll drop them off at school a lot. I think north is homeschooled now, but even before that, like, she was always dropping them off at school. Always, like, at the school events and stuff, and always, like, really nice to everybody. Yeah, I feel like, God, you almost have to be homeschooled because, like, how could you even have a normal school life when you're that famous?

I saw another argument, too, from some fans on Twitter where it was like, they almost wanted the younger Bridgerton siblings to get recast by the time it's theirs because they felt weird that, like, if they're doing sexy scenes, but they saw them as kids. But, I mean, if you were like, obviously they'd be, like, 20 by the time it'd be their season by 30.

Look at Benedict being 40 years old.

Yeah. Because it's almost like every two. I mean, it has to be years between seasons.

I'm like, God, I really dislike him. I was really trying to be friends. I love, love Kristen, but I think everyone said that. But he's kind of. He's just the worst.

And not even, like, the worst interviewers, like, even think of the questions he asked. And to think of the subjects he asked is like, you're just, like, a weird person, you know? I've worked with the smart producer because there's always a smart producer behind the talent of the podcast. Right. Like when I did Soul Boom. Not to say Rainn Wilson's not smart, but he has a really intelligent producer, Kartik, who, like, gives him information about me because, you know, Rain Wilson does not give up me. But, like, Cardic will know. Or like Devin, when I did, like, you know, another podcast that he was a producer on, like, he knew all this stuff. So I just feel like there's always like, a producer that's just like, a little smarter or at least more in the know than the host. And I think Dax is going just wild. I think he's just going off, off script because he does have that co host and she's seems intelligent. Maybe she's the one. But, like, rarely does he let her interject. And he always has stuff. And I don't know why that co host. I would feel like if I said something so out of pocket, I feel like you might be like, well, or edit Jimmy Note, like, maybe edit that part down. You know what I mean? Like, something. No one's stopping him. It's crazy.

Experience or how I knew Whitney was from Chelsea lately. Like, whack. When Chelsea had her e late night show and like she had like the round table of like her comedian friends kind of like weighing on Hot Topics. Like, Whitney was one of the guests on there and I always loved when she was on. So that's how I knew her. And I kind of associated her with Chelsea for a lot of the time too. So I thought. And Chelsea's like, like, very liberal, very like outspoken for like, you know, for queer people, for trans people and everything. So I kind of thought they were aligned. I guess I just assumed. And also Whitney's friends with like a lot of celebrities. Like, she's friends with Miranda Cosgrove. That's where the actually do cuss a little. Like, that was right. That was Whitney show and stuff.

So I clocked it back in the Crystalia show days. That one, I was like. I remember they had like a weird, like, joke on there. That's kind of weird.

Yeah. And Whitney has kind of like done. She has a lot of takes about like trans people and queer people that are kind of really problematic. I know Trixie Mattel collabed with Whitney and people were like, wait, I don't collab with her because specifically, like, her takes on like.

Yeah, because it's like you can't just disguise everything under comedy. Like, I hate when people are like, it's comedy. It's when they get called out or being like, hateful or racist. I'm like, oh, that's like comedy anymore. I don't think that was ever comedy, but I feel like especially now it's like, not comedy. This was not comedy. I don't even think she like, apologized. I think she was just like, I took it down because I didn't know she was for near to virgin kids. And people like, you just missed the whole point. Like, that's. I don't know. Threads needs to go away. It's ruining lives.

I. Random aside, I. When I collabed with Jimmy, I had to make a thumbnail for the Two of us. And I just Google like Jimmy Wetzel and Google Images. All the his photos were on threads. He was like, where'd you get that photo? I'm like, I got it from your threads. Like Google just took me to your threads.

He had no idea. So Jimmy's just threading willy nilly.

There used to be. This was also 10 years ago, so maybe it's not there anymore. But even just seeing the sights of the stage that they filmed pll, I'm going to feel Shooketh. I am like, I love me saying Shooketh going back to the era of pll, but I love that. Yeah.
