Trisha Paytas
No, I hated that so much. And I was like, you're such a loser. And, like, you're just like, you contribute nothing. Like you said, he's not rich, he's not high. He's, like, contributing nothing. So also, you're not a good father. On top of that, like, you. You have to pick. You have to pick one. You have to pick one thing that you're, like, good at. And you're good at nothing. Nothing. You're literally good at nothing.
Kali
Her name is
Trisha Paytas
Filthy Think she's just strange. Yay. Hello. Welcome to the Justice Podcast. I've just come back from across the pond and it was amazing. Although I don't know if it was amazing because we're filming this a couple days before I've even performed my show. But hopefully it's good. I don't know. What do you think, ma'? Am? Miss?
Kali
Honestly, your accent eats. I can never crock.
Trisha Paytas
It's really good. Pip, pip, cheerio. I appreciate it. Oh, oi, Crocky.
Malibu
No, thank you.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. I hate when he doesn't want to do an accent with me. Thank you for doing it.
Kali
You're welcome.
Trisha Paytas
What do you think of when you think of a British accent? Like, what's the first sound that comes in your mind right away? I think parlay.
Kali
Oh, my God.
Trisha Paytas
I was gonna say pirates of the Caribbean.
Kali
Even though it's like Caribbean, but like, it was.
Trisha Paytas
They were from England, I think half of them.
Kali
Well, yeah, Commodore Norrington. That's what I think of, though.
Trisha Paytas
She was everything. Karen Eiley was like, oh, my God.
Kali
She was like my everything.
Trisha Paytas
The national treasure of the uk and she has disappear.
Kali
Want to have a straight hair, you know?
Trisha Paytas
Oh, okay. She's what made me. What? I remember when they did piles of hair, being like, she had a 20 inch waist. I remember being like, I need to have a 20 inch waist now.
Kali
That's like a Barbie.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. I don't know if that's ever gonna be possible for me. But we love Karen Knightley and she was so good in love actually, too.
Kali
Oh, I was gonna say low, actually.
Trisha Paytas
Anything British was Keira Knightley for me. Yeah, Ben, like Beckham. Like, she was. That's what I'm saying. She was London.
Kali
I know.
Trisha Paytas
I hope. Hopefully it went good. Anyways, if you guys saw me, I was at the Royal Album hall and. Yeah, I'm probably flying back now.
Kali
Well, the merch is tea.
Trisha Paytas
The merch is tea. Yes. The British invasion. I hope that it was good. I mean, the merch was good. The concept is Good. In my mind, I think it's going to be really good. I think it's going to be great. I think so, too. We're having a string quartet.
Kali
It's your first time performing over there, right?
Trisha Paytas
Time performing over there. I'm going to be singing my new Saranghae live. I think a lot of people are like, but can she sing this live? I would sing for you guys right now, but maybe just come to the show and then as they. But I have full confidence in that song more than anything else because I practice that song more than anything. But first time live, gonna do a little Sweeney Todd. I'm opening the show with, like, there's no place like London. Did you ever see Sweeney Todd?
Kali
It's so funny that you say that because I constantly quote Sweeney Todd.
Trisha Paytas
What?
Kali
I don't know why. And I don't think anybody understands, like, where I got it from, but it's like.
Trisha Paytas
Did you love it? I don't remember you.
Kali
I was gonna hum you. Not while I'm around. I always sing that. I don't.
Trisha Paytas
That's such a good one.
Kali
Wait, what? How do you. How did you watch it?
Trisha Paytas
Cause I watched it. I remember watching.
Kali
I literally watched it with you.
Trisha Paytas
But I watched it first. In 2007, after I got out of the hospital for three weeks, my dad found me in my apartment just covered in, like, feces and stuff, like, anyways. And he took me to the Riverside Hospital. I don't know how that even happened. I don't know how he even. We weren't even talking to my dad. I think my neighbor Superman, who was like, literally Superman at the time. Rip, Christopher, Dennis, I think he must have called my dad or something, because I was just, like, in feces or whatever. And then my dad takes me to Riverside Hospital in 2007, in December. And I remember, like, getting out of the hospital, and he's like, do you want to go see a movie? And I remember with Sweeney Todd, and I remember it gave me, like, will to live. I was just like, I want to be in this world.
Kali
Okay, good.
Trisha Paytas
A little dark, though. I mean, he was just sliced.
Kali
I mean, he's, like, literally killing people and, like, cooking them into meat pies.
Trisha Paytas
I felt the pain, though. I felt. I felt it because he was doing it out of vengeance. He lost his daughter. Yeah. And Alan Rickman, we love. Rip was Judge Turpin, but he was keeping her as his ward, but also, like, his lover. I don't know. It was a very weird. It was like he was kind of like into Joanna. And did you know Vecna was. I feel you, Joanna.
Kali
Oh, my gosh. I didn't know that. But I do love him.
Trisha Paytas
Jamie Campbell Bower. I wonder if he's over there. Anyways, I'm gonna find a bunch of people coming. I heard I would cry. I would actually cry. That would be everything. By the way, my sister's here as the co host today. Kelly is here? Yes. We had a pre film ahead of time and Oscar's coming this afternoon to help me for my Thursday because I'm gonna be gone for a week. So I was like to switch it up because there's always very different topics. Oscar is, like, the smartest person ever when it comes to Hot Topic. I'm always like, what? Tell me. And I love learning things. My sister, right away, the first thing she said is, like, not even a Hot Topic. Do you hear Nicocado straight now? I was like, it's very different. This is a very different hot top. So we're switching up only because we're filming. We have to film the Hot Topics in the same day. And there's only so many Hot Topics. Literally. My sister's like, well, hopefully something happens before that Oscar gets here. I'm like, don't worry. We. He already has, like, his Hot Topics figure. He has Hot Topics if there's no Hot Topics. But I'm excited to hear your Hot Topics today. Are you prepared? I'm here.
Kali
It's like more of a Kiki and I like that. But, like, we're trying to get the hot Topics. But yes, I am excited.
Trisha Paytas
But we don't have to get started right away on the Hot Topic. You look great, by the way. You look fabulous. You look like Kier Knightley. You used to look, like, here nightly to do the. Oh.
Kali
Oh, my God.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
You know what? Okay, so I know she got, like, flamed for it on the Met Gala. Kenightley. No, Rachel. Oh. And I.
Trisha Paytas
We didn't even talk about that here. And I was like, I wouldn't.
Kali
I didn't.
Malibu
It's mouth acting.
Trisha Paytas
I was like, it's giving, Kieran. I leave it skinny. Mom doesn't. It's giving. Like, look at my jaw.
Kali
And you know what, honey?
Trisha Paytas
I was looking at that job. That's what we do. Always. You put the tongue above your mouth and you're just like, you have to, like, you have to do it giving here. And I, like, people were just not
Kali
familiar with her mog game.
Trisha Paytas
No, they don't know. They don't know her Mogging. Because she outmongs everybody and she is so good. I know we didn't talk about that enough because I was like, people just love to hate on a girl who's serving. And she was serving so much. And that is a great. And you immediately was like, oh, my God, Keira Knightley, like, it reminds me
Kali
of, like, that jaw, that strong jaw.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. Get it. She'd be like, parlay by pirates, right? You have to. Parlay means this. It's like, also very Hermione.
Kali
I was so jealous of her. She was gorgeous. She was with Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, but not in real life. In the movie. Yeah. She gotta kiss both. I remember she went on like, Regis and Kelly are, like, one of those shows. And I remember they were like, what was it like to kiss a Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom? It's like, it was quite nice. And I was like, I bet it was girl.
Kali
I don't know where she is anymore, actually.
Trisha Paytas
Just living her life in England town.
Kali
She probably makes hella residuals, honestly, with pirates and love. Actually.
Trisha Paytas
I wonder. I do wonder. Yeah. Love actually was so good. Alan Rickman, too. I miss him.
Kali
Do you remember how to.
Trisha Paytas
Alan Rickman? Yes. For real. I feel like people like, oh, I loved Alan Rickman because of, like, Harry Potter. But like, I was like the original Alan Rickman. Stan before Harry Potter.
Kali
I know.
Trisha Paytas
I loved him in Die Hard as Hans Gruber. You remember that? Hans Gruber and Die Hard. No, you never got Die Hard.
Malibu
The first one.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Yippee Kai, gay mother.
Kali
I literally watched it with you growing.
Malibu
I said, like, then when it came out, that's like the.
Trisha Paytas
The classic. When someone comes to America, they watch Die Hard because they just think that's like, so like Bruce Willis and like, fighting. Oh, geez, what was he fighting?
Kali
I don't know if. I have no idea.
Trisha Paytas
I don't know.
Kali
I was like, so young watching that
Trisha Paytas
with you because, like, Because Alan Rickman.
Kali
Yeah, because you were obsessed with Alan. That was when you got obsessed with someone. You would have to see all of their. Like, all of their movies.
Trisha Paytas
All of it.
Kali
And you have they made a soundtrack or if they made an album, you would have it. Any kind of merge posters, whatever.
Trisha Paytas
I have so much Alan posters.
Kali
Like an Alan from Memorabilia is insane.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, I like, loved him from everything. Do you remember the most obscure Alan Rickman movie we watched? Because we would, like, rent movies and I would watch so many of these.
Kali
I don't remember. If you say it, I'll remember.
Trisha Paytas
Do you remember the movie, I think it was called Blow Dry.
Kali
Yes. Oh, my God, yes.
Trisha Paytas
With Heidi Klum.
Kali
And I love that movie, actually.
Trisha Paytas
And they did like the hair show. Yeah. And they did like I. A heart. Pubic hair.
Kali
Yes. I love that movie.
Trisha Paytas
And they did like, crazy styling. And I just like, loved that. That was so. Yes, that was. If you have not seen that movie,
Kali
you have to see it. It's really good.
Trisha Paytas
Go see Alderman. And that. He was also in Dogma. And I remember he was pantless. And I was like. He was like my sexual awakening, I feel, because I was like a weird, like, corny teenager. But I remember they're like, al man is pantless in this one. But like, he was like. He was almost like an alien, I guess, like there. Because it was kind of like. I guess he was like an angel in Dogma. I'm trying to think of how that worked. I guess he was like.
Kali
I don't remember that.
Trisha Paytas
So he kind of had. Oh, is Jay and Silo Bob's like, first movie. And I remember being like, yeah. And he kind of had like a. It was covered. It was basically just like a. Almost like a vagina without the slit, I guess. I don't know. It was kind of that also Galaxy Quest.
Kali
I didn't. I don't remember that one. I know, I know.
Trisha Paytas
And he had the crazy. And he was like, signing at comic Cons. They were just actors who were in like a Star Trek show. But real aliens came and Rainn Wilson was one of the real aliens.
Kali
I got it.
Trisha Paytas
And they like, come to space with us. But they're like, we're on a TV show, we don't know how to do this. You don't remember.
Kali
I did not like any kind of sci fi movie growing up.
Trisha Paytas
But it was like a sci fi parody. Yes. Oh, my God. Alan Ringman had such a good discography. Is that what it's called?
Kali
I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
He has such good. I know you guys might like him from Harry Potter, which. He was great in Harry Potter.
Kali
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
But there is such a. So much that he's done, obviously. Like, Sweeney Todd was so good. I love actually. I mean, he's so good too, in that. I mean, those are like his mainstream ones. But I like a deep cup. I like a Michael Clayton, if you will. Like, I love a deep cut of Alan Rickman. And he is. Moses gave me Alan Rickman a little bit when I first met him. I was like, you're giving. I made him Professor Snape. Yeah, he's Giving you everything.
Kali
He gives.
Trisha Paytas
No, he has.
Kali
He's kind of like Jason Momoa. Oh, he's kind of like Alan Rickman. I was like, okay.
Trisha Paytas
That's why I married him.
Malibu
He's a little bit of all my face sounded like him.
Trisha Paytas
Who? Yeah, do your impression. You remember.
Kali
Oh, silly incantations in this class. Oh, okay.
Trisha Paytas
Just doing the whole monologue. That was close. That is what. That was great.
Malibu
No, something about like actually, like, what was the.
Trisha Paytas
It was. Oh, God. It was a Tick Tock trend. It was. And I know I can't remember either possibly like something about TikTok sound and.
Malibu
Yeah, because it was about water.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, okay. Well, it wasn't you. He was pretty good. Yeah. You did it good. Do yours again.
Kali
I don't know the first part. Or silly incantations in this class as such. You know what? That's a trend right now on Tick Tock because like they have these dogs running around like. Because you know how I put blankets on my dogs or whatever and then they get up and like it looks like they have a cape when they're running.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, no, I know.
Kali
They use that sound. I don't know. It's like Professor Snape with his big black.
Trisha Paytas
Yes, I remember. We used to know that whole like monologue.
Kali
Oh my God, everything.
Trisha Paytas
How are you? How is Mucky? Update on Mucky.
Kali
Mucky's doing okay. You know, he's got kidney failure.
Trisha Paytas
But. But how's he. How's his spirit?
Kali
He's good.
Malibu
So he can drink.
Trisha Paytas
He's making a joke. He said he can't drink because he has kidney failure.
Kali
Right. Alcohol, right?
Trisha Paytas
Like, no, he's drinking water. He's surviving.
Kali
Actually, that wasn't serious.
Trisha Paytas
I call.
Kali
But no, when I found out, I was like, can I. Can I give him my kidney? I know that's crazy, but can they do a kidney? They said that it's not very like you. It's not successful dog to dog. Yeah, it's not very successful. The.
Trisha Paytas
There's Mucky.
Kali
I know. You mean Miko. No, because that's like the Lovely Bones or My Sister's Keeper. What is that?
Trisha Paytas
I don't know.
Kali
Remember like they had another child to. Because the other one needed a transplant plant. And I'm like, could you imagine being born just to give your sister?
Trisha Paytas
I think a lot of. I think that happens a lot. I know. No, it's awful. I think it's awful. But I do think that's like if I were. It was a movie.
Kali
Yeah. I don't remember what it was called. Well, it was a book, but. But yeah, if you were born.
Trisha Paytas
Well, we had different dads. I don't know if you could give me your kidney. I don't know how that works.
Kali
You have to have, like. Oh, maybe you can able, like, the same blood or something.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, no, maybe not. Because, like, Cine Gomez got a kidney, and I think George Lopez got a kidney.
Kali
Yeah. You have to have the same, like, blood. Or if you're O positive.
Trisha Paytas
What are you, our sponsor today?
Kali
Well, that's why I'm like, oh, positive. It's like the neutral universal blood you could donate to everyone.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, positive.
Kali
I think it's oh positive.
Trisha Paytas
I'm A positive. I know that. And I.
Kali
Because I actually don't know what my blood type is.
Trisha Paytas
Well, you should probably know what that is.
Kali
Yeah, I know. I don't know how to figure that out.
Trisha Paytas
Go to the doctor.
Malibu
Blood test.
Kali
That's where you lose me, because I don't like getting my blood.
Trisha Paytas
You usually get a blood panel just overall, you are over 30.
Kali
I usually do, but I don't know your blood type. I don't know. I will die.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my gosh. Yeah.
Kali
So if, like, I'm in need of anything. I don't know anything about my health, so.
Trisha Paytas
Well, let's get knowing about it.
Kali
Yeah, probably.
Trisha Paytas
Well, I'm glad Mucky's doing good, because they were, like, saying he was. He was sick, but he is in good spirits when we see him.
Kali
He is in. My dad just visited recently, and, like, when he came in, like, oh, my God, you wouldn't even think that he was sick because he was just, like, jumping all over the place and so obsessed with my dad.
Trisha Paytas
So he loves. He loves boys, huh?
Kali
Well, we don't have a lot of
Trisha Paytas
male figures in his life, so he gets excited.
Kali
So when there is one, he gets really. I mean, even when Moses was first coming around and I would bring monkey over to your house, he would be all up in that hair. I don't know if Moses was into
Trisha Paytas
that, but I'm like, no, he is. Yesterday we were at boiling crab. We made it to boiling crab. By the way, if you guys saw watch last week, it was like, if we were gonna meet a boiling crab, we did. By the way, boiling crab is insane right now. They even said, like, we haven't seen you guys in here in a while. It's because last time we went to boiling crab with the two girls, when I was pregnant with Aquaman, it was like, literally, we get there, okay, Boiling crab opens at Noon on the weekends. We got there at like 11:30 and it was already like literally like 30 people outside. We were waiting in the hot sun. Then it happened again yesterday. They open at 3pm on Monday and we get there at 2:30 and we're. We're like the. Now we're like one of the first couples there, but by the time that gets let into, it was like so hot. And then everyone behind us. But they said usually it's a two hour wait. Like if you're not there at rope drop. That is like a two hour wait. Yeah, the rope drop for boiling crab where they. Oh, there's like 50 people at the rope drop for boiling crab. And we want to get a booth. We want to get in there boiling crab. There's any connection to get me like a VIP card or something. I would love to like, have a number because we do love it. So it's so good. It's also so expensive and it's packed. And I'm like, how do people afford. It's like a. It's like a bougie thing for us. Like, we were celebrating something. So I was like, okay, let's go to boiling Crab. But like 160 bucks. And we got some crab legs and some french fries, which are delicious.
Kali
I love the crab legs, but the crab legs.
Trisha Paytas
And we only got like two crab legs last time. And I'm like, this is insane. But like everyone eating there, like six tables of six to eight people.
Malibu
I was like, I think most people are celebrating something or they get the different things on the menu. Yeah, some things are.
Trisha Paytas
Because you like the wings there, right?
Kali
Or the chicken.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, those were good. We did get chicken wings.
Malibu
Deep fried oysters.
Trisha Paytas
Well, we got fried oysters too.
Kali
Okay.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, we did get some eggs. Hard boiled eggs.
Malibu
But they have new menu items too. And they have those sandwiches with fried. So they have lunch options now that are ch.
Kali
If I go there, I gotta get some crab legs.
Trisha Paytas
I did think of you. It was like late. You had a. We also had to wait in line. Like, we got there at 2:30 and we had to wait in line for a half hour. So it's like this whole thing also was like a mean greet. We had a lot of fans there yesterday. Like, when we were like lined up, people were like, can we get pictures? And then when we sat, everyone was like, great. We were eating and as soon as we got up, everyone's so respectful. Everyone's like, then I got. Literally, I got like a little bombarded. And I love that they're like, oh, my God. Can we have a picture? I smell like crab. And I was like, I'm so sorry. But I did love it. It was fun. It was like a little mean Greek people were getting up out of their seats in their little bibs, and I was like, love this so much. So obviously they need a location down here. That's what I mean. It's close.
Kali
It's like, no minutes. No, they need one closer.
Trisha Paytas
That's crazy. And the ventura, we drive 30 minutes to get into Benihana.
Kali
That's true. I mean, we drove an hour.
Trisha Paytas
We drove an hour and a half to get to the Santa Ana one, which was worth it. It was an Ann. Yes.
Kali
No, Santa Anita.
Trisha Paytas
Okay, well, same thing.
Kali
It's not the same.
Trisha Paytas
It's also called, like, Arcadia. There's, like, so many names for that area. Because we're like, my mom dated someone in Arcadia, and she goes, oh, my God. This was, like, the worst to get to. But then she loved the little peacock park. Oh, my God. It was actually so cute. Yeah, we should have brought the kids, because they were like, There was little peacocks.
Kali
I wanted to go part peacocks.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, it was cool. She did like that part of it. Anyways, it was. It was an adventure. We drove. You know, it's our bonding time, though. We don't see each other as much. And so, yeah, we had an hour and a half bonding time. We got the big fishbowl drinks, shout out, Benihana. Go get that Trish Trio love happening. We got to see the sign. Everyone was so nice there. The general managers with everyone was just, like, a vibe, and it was so much fun, and they were so nice, and they offered up as a private room. And I was like, no, I need to sit with everybody. Like, I love to just sit with the people when I go to Benihana. You know what I mean? Like, that's the experience, and it's fun. So go get the Trish Trio. Thank you, guys, everyone. Seriously, for everyone who goes out there, like, that's so nice. It's so weird to see, like, humans, like, you. You see numbers, you see comments, but, like, actual people going out and, like, dressing up and, like, taking their boyfriends or, like, someone did a full Trish cosplay at Benihana. Jimmy Wetzel went with a group of people. Our editor, like, the fact that, like, people, like real life humans are, like, going out of the house and taking pictures next to, like, my little Trish trio. I'm like, that's so cool.
Kali
No, it is. Really cool. I love seeing all the tiktoks, too.
Malibu
And it's a good deal that go. They're, like, so happy about it.
Trisha Paytas
It's all I ever ordered for the show.
Kali
It's a show and dinner.
Trisha Paytas
Yes. And it's the best one. And it's quality food. The filet mignon with that truffle butter and the shrimp.
Kali
You won't leave hungry, that's for sure.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah. You guys had, like, leftovers for days after we had a whole box of them.
Kali
I always get so full on, like, the soup and the salad and it's good.
Trisha Paytas
Can I say, you know, I don't like soup.
Kali
That soup is so good.
Trisha Paytas
They're soup.
Malibu
You should make that at home.
Trisha Paytas
I do eat some of it. I don't eat all of it.
Kali
It's like, a little bit. I do like it.
Trisha Paytas
I do. That's why I was saying is I don't like soup, but I do love that, like, little mushroom soup there. It's pretty good.
Kali
It's really good.
Trisha Paytas
Anyway, so thank you for all the love on that. The UK show just ended, but the Vegas show is coming. Trish and Tanner. Vegas coming.
Kali
Yeah, I'll come. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
He loves a Vegas moment.
Kali
I love a Vegas moment.
Trisha Paytas
You can really be in it, actually. It's a whole show, like, where we have so many people. Like Holly
Kali
Molly. Yeah, well, maybe I'll be there when I come out.
Trisha Paytas
We're doing a variety show. One thing with Tana, and I love this about her is because I'm so the opposite. But I like. I love it. Like, I love when people bring out. It's like, she's like, more people, the better. Like, Tana will travel with, like, 20 people deep.
Kali
I love that.
Trisha Paytas
And just have the most part of everything. And I'm so opposite because I'm so such an isolated. I even googled because I'm like, is there something wrong with me that I'm such, like, an isolated person that I'm just, like, always wanting to be alone? There's just two different types of people is what I found out.
Kali
Personality traits.
Trisha Paytas
But I do love. I will say when I want to. Tiana want to on well together. I do love kind of the camaraderie where everyone's just, like, trying to, like, squeeze into one car and just like, oh, we're all going here together. Like, there is. There is a vibe to it for sure. Yeah. Like, let's all go get lobster tails at the Golden Steer. And Holly's so great, too. She'll be in Daggett. And it's just such a fun vibe, so I'm inviting everybody. I was like, you wanna come too?
Kali
I'll come.
Trisha Paytas
You know Tanner loves you. June 12th.
Kali
June 12th.
Trisha Paytas
Right at the Cosmo Slay. And she loves you too. She loves you.
Kali
I actually was like, oh, let's. Let's, like, channel our Tana with this.
Trisha Paytas
You are giving Tana what they had. I love it too, so much. Also, last time you were here, I figured this was the great update because you're on this episode.
Kali
Oh, the dumpling. You got the glitter dumpling.
Trisha Paytas
But I thought it was gonna be bigger. This was my 600 StockX.
Kali
600 Dumpling.
Trisha Paytas
It was supposed to be the big.
Kali
Can I see it? Can I touch it?
Trisha Paytas
I don't know. I'm just kidding.
Kali
Call you the mom in the car.
Trisha Paytas
I know. Wow.
Kali
How do we feel?
Trisha Paytas
It looks good. It's good.
Kali
I don't like how sticky it is. Okay.
Trisha Paytas
Malibu. Anything sticky. If it's a Rice Krispies, like, it's sticky. Oh, my God.
Kali
It looks like it's literally oozing out.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, you think it's a knockoff? What's happening?
Kali
Oh, maybe not. No. I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
They verified it. I thought it was gonna be a little more sparkly. Let's see.
Malibu
I thought they were big.
Trisha Paytas
Feels like an implant.
Kali
Well, there is. It kind of does.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, it is sticky. You thought that? No. What'd you say? They do have big ones. Yeah. I thought this was gonna be a big one. I'm so bad with sizes. You know, I like.
Kali
You're so bad with sizes. You're so bad with quantities.
Malibu
Quantities.
Kali
It's so bad.
Trisha Paytas
And size.
Kali
You're so bad at knowing if you've already ordered it or not.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, that part. Yeah. I'm always getting done.
Kali
You had one time, you had two of the same Prada person you did
Trisha Paytas
sell one on, and you're like, oh,
Kali
well, I'm like, no, I will try and return it for you. You don't need two of these.
Trisha Paytas
Well, that's what I. That was when I was done with money.
Kali
You're like, I'll just take the L. I'm like the l on a 2500.
Trisha Paytas
Well, that wasn't before I had kids.
Kali
This was a long. This was like crying on the kitchen floor.
Trisha Paytas
Maybe the product store needs it more than I do. You know, maybe they need that 2500 more. So I was trying to help Mr. Prada. He probably has kids too. People, forget about the.
Kali
I think he's Doing quite well.
Trisha Paytas
We don't know where Mr. Prada is. You want to see this over there, my little dumpling?
Malibu
Probably. Oh, that's sticky.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, okay. Everyone's just like, first reaction.
Malibu
Maybe that's the. The realistic side of it.
Kali
It feels like one of those, like, car cleaners, like, in the vents that you, like, push it on and, like, gets all the dust off. You know what I mean?
Trisha Paytas
No, a car cleaner, like, the key.
Kali
It's where the keyboard. It's like a sticky utensil that you use to, like, pick up all the dirt and debris.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, they do that with slime, too. Like, slime picks up slime. Ew.
Kali
I hate slime. I'm a slime hater. Can I just say that? Well, Malibu wants to play slime with me, and she's like, kiki, can you get this how I'm like, oh, can
Trisha Paytas
we play with Play D'oh. Oh, I do. When she asked me to get the slime, I do say, oh, Abba's so good with.
Kali
I just, like, don't love the consistency of it. I was like, you know, Kiki doesn't love the slime.
Trisha Paytas
I know it does get everywhere. But if you go to the slumu, like, the slime museums, like, they do tell you that slime takes off slime. So if you get slime on it, like I said, I'm sorry, that's a
Kali
residue on my hand that will never come off.
Trisha Paytas
Unless that is surprising. They like slime because malpu. Even if it's like a sticky, like Rice Krispies, she doesn't like sticky, so I'm surprised she likes a slime.
Kali
I know she loves it.
Trisha Paytas
Thank you so much to NOCD for sponsoring today's episode of Just Trish with maybe Mental Health Awareness Month. It is super important that we talk about mental health and be open with how we are feeling. You may hear the term OCD and think, that doesn't really apply to me. You know, I'm not obsessive compulsive about cleaning. That's what I thought for a long time. But sometimes OCD can also mean intrusive thoughts, wanted thoughts, getting the best of you. And sometimes when you talk to someone, it can help make those interest thoughts less powerful and have less power over you. You guys know I'm super open about my mental health and everything I go through online sometimes. Yeah, that means a moment of me crying on the kitchen floor. That might turn into a meme. But honestly, sharing all that stuff has helped people see what mental health struggles can really look like and reminds people that they're not the only ones going through it. I am very thankful for that. While I get embarrassed sometimes of my past struggles being so public, I am appreciative that it can have a visual to what a lot of people feel internally. And a lot of people say it's so relatable. And sometimes you can't tell just by looking at someone what they're going through. But a lot of us relate to these same intrusive thoughts or other mental health issues that we have to work through every day and work on every day, and you don't have to do it alone. And that's why I want to talk about OCD right now. Because it is a mental health condition that's so misunderstood and a lot of people struggle with it without even realizing. So the stereotypes, let's get those out of the way. OCD is not really about being just organized and liking things clean, like a lot of people. I think it's not funny, it's serious. It can actually show up in ways you might never expect. OCD could look like having terrifying, unwanted thoughts, that you're going to hurt someone. And even though you never want to do that, the thoughts feel so real that you still avoid everyone you love just to be safe. Or maybe you're constantly doubting your relationship, asking your partner over and over if they're really happy but still feeling unsure no matter what they say. Or playing a conversation on repeat in your mind for days because you're convinced that you said something offensive and feel like you can't move on until you're totally certain about what happened. That happens to me all the time. Relationships, overthinking, et cetera. And those could be symptoms of ocd. When you have ocd, you get unwanted thoughts and create intense distress, and you feel like you need to do certain things to try to combat distress. Those thoughts can latch onto your relationships, your health, your morals, literally anything you care about. That's why it can be really debilitating. But it doesn't have to be that way, because OCD is actually really treatable with the right kind of specialized therapy. And that's where no CD comes in. NOCD is the world's leading provider of OCD treatment. All of their licensed therapists specialize in erp, or exposure and Response prevention therapy. Unlike regular talk therapy, which isn't recommended for OCD and can actually make it worse. ERP was designed specifically for ocd, and it's been proven to be the most effective treatment, which is I can attest to this as well. I've done talk therapy, which helps other parts of my personality disorder, but with the erp, it really helps regulate your thoughts without having to overthink. With no cd, you meet your therapist in live face to face virtual sessions. It's covered by insurance for over 138 million Americans. And they provide support between sessions so you're not left dealing with OCD on your own. This is also very special because a lot of times going in person, like human to human, and you have to like, go somewhere, it can be also anxiety inducing. So doing it online can help ease that as well. So if any of this sounds familiar, visit nocd.com and book a free call with their team to learn more about how NOCD can help. That's NOCD.com thank you so much, NOCD, for sponsoring today's episode of Just Drink. It's like a texture thing.
Kali
Yeah, I don't like the feeling of it. Do you like slime?
Malibu
No, I always divert to play. D'oh.
Kali
Oh my God.
Trisha Paytas
We're all doing the same thing. Yeah. Who loves to see?
Kali
That's interesting.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Malibu
Slime and sand. They have all kind of sand toys.
Kali
I like the kinetic sand.
Malibu
Yeah, it's fun to play with, but not to clean. No, it ends up everywhere.
Trisha Paytas
Oh my God. Yeah. Well, we have a sandbox now outside. They can just go to the.
Kali
Ooh, like the turtle one. The old school turtle one.
Trisha Paytas
That was a sailboat. Oh, have you not seen it outside?
Kali
No, I haven't.
Trisha Paytas
And for Elvis's birthday, man, I got our trampoline. Like he's always. I think we're going to run out of room in our backyard now. Trampoline.
Kali
A big one.
Malibu
Eight foot.
Trisha Paytas
Is it up?
Malibu
Not yet.
Trisha Paytas
Oh my God.
Kali
Are you underground?
Malibu
I think it's above ground.
Trisha Paytas
No, it's cuz it's a kid. It's kind of like for kids. Oh, no.
Malibu
I mean it's big. It's eight feet.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, is it? I don't know what that means. As we know, I'm bad with dimensions, so.
Malibu
I mean, you. You can lay in there.
Trisha Paytas
Are you eight? What's eight foot? You?
Malibu
No, no, I'm a little bit less than six, so. Oh, so two more feet so I can lay in it.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. They'd love a trampoline.
Kali
I love a trampoline.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah. The house with the slides had a train ground one.
Kali
That's been my dream.
Trisha Paytas
I think that's gonna. We'll get that one day. I'm so hoping for the slide house.
Kali
Well, I was very excited for the birthday present then, so I can play.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah. Well, her birthday was just literally yesterday, so that's why Elvis is.
Kali
Yeah, that's right.
Trisha Paytas
I was.
Kali
Oh, no, I was supposed to bring. I have gifts for her.
Trisha Paytas
Well, I'm sure you'll see her, right? At some point. Yes, we'll be here. I'm very excited to the new Michael Jackson movie.
Kali
No, but I heard it was really good. No, I don't see movies usually. You know this about me.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my gosh. But the Michael Jackson. I don't know. That was my other hyper fixation as a child was Michael Jackson. I really, really loved him. He was just even red.
Kali
You loved him. That was your first one, I think, like, your first everything.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, because it was 2001.
Kali
It was Michael Donnie.
Trisha Paytas
I mean, Alan Rickman's somewhere in there. It might have been at the Byron house. He might have been earlier Michael Jackson. I think elementary might have been before Michael Jackson. Really? Michael Jackson was a little edgy. I remember when I found him, I was like, whoa, you love.
Kali
That was like your hardest crush.
Trisha Paytas
I think it still was. I remember when he passed away, we were living together in Sherman Oaks, and I was, like, devastated. He passed away, and then Brian passed away like, a week later. And I remember being that. That was like June of 2009. I was like, this is like, the worst month ever. It was so awful. I was like. I was so sad about it, you know, because, like, I think people who have, like, delusions, like, I really thought I may marry Michael Jackson as a child.
Kali
You did go to the Neverland Ranch
Trisha Paytas
all the time with my dad, and we'd always go up there and just like, like, hang out, hoping to, like, see him and stuff like that. We'd always go up there and, yeah, I really thought in my mind he
Kali
may want to marry me.
Trisha Paytas
And so when it became an actual possibility, once I became 18, I was like, okay, I'm in California now. I'm living here. Like, this could be a thing.
Kali
I went to his.
Trisha Paytas
All his court cases up at the Santa Maria courthouse. I used to go and, like, hang out there and just. I mean, there were so many fans.
Kali
But you had all of the colors of the Heartbreak album.
Trisha Paytas
Invincible album.
Kali
Oh, Invincible.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. But it had. There was a song, Heartbreaker.
Kali
Wow.
Trisha Paytas
So you were a Michael Jackson fan, too? Because Invincible is kind of a deep cut.
Kali
Well, of course. Because I wanted to be like, my big sister, too.
Trisha Paytas
Wait, did you like her? How did that song go?
Kali
Wait oh, no, that's invisible. Hold on, let me look it up.
Trisha Paytas
Break.
Kali
No, it's like. That was a good album.
Trisha Paytas
That was good, because. What were you singing? What song were you just singing? Oh, yeah.
Kali
Well, that's Invincible, though. Not after you do. I'm still gonna be here.
Trisha Paytas
You can't try to stop me.
Kali
Cause.
Trisha Paytas
Or is that Unbreakable? There's Unbreakable. Invincible. I think Jay Z was on Unbreakable.
Kali
Wait, I don't even remember.
Trisha Paytas
Remember Butter? Was it butterflies on that one? No, you give me butterflies. Oh, no, there's another one. Okay, tell me. The Invincible album gave me butterflies Inside, Inside and I just want to do your touch I swear Butterflies on that one.
Kali
Heartbreaker. It's giving Britney.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, a little bit. That girl. I can't take her. I should have known she was a heartbreaker. God, we loved that one.
Kali
I did love that.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my God. And play the. There's a one called Butterflies. What's like a slow song?
Kali
Oh, yeah, it is. It is.
Trisha Paytas
Butterflies Inside. Inside. This is a good album. It was such a good one.
Kali
I gotta add some of these songs on my playlist.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. That was so good. Rock my World I wanted to be that girl in Rock My World so bad. I know My world, you know you did. And everything I own I'd give. There is nothing then that Find someone like you to come. Remember Chris Tucker? He's like, oh, look at that girl right there. You know, she's fine. She's like, I can get her. No, you can't get that girl. I can get her, Chris. I can get her. Well, show mom then. And then he's like, I do. He goes over with his arms.
Kali
Never be the same.
Trisha Paytas
God, he was so good.
Kali
He was really good.
Trisha Paytas
You need to go see the new one. Because his nephew, Jafar Jackson, plays him. And he's uncanny, Michael.
Kali
Like, really?
Trisha Paytas
His eyes, the way he looks. I've DM'd him multiple times. Come on the podcast. I'm like, can you please come on the podcast?
Kali
So you saw it?
Trisha Paytas
Yes. Actually, was gonna go. Actually, almost was by myself. I think Moses thought I was going with you or something because of Moses. I had two tickets for me and Moses, but Moses had to go, like, take care of something. And I was like, can you make meet me? He's like, I don't know if I'm gonna make it. I should go get groceries. I'm like, all right, I'll just, like, watch. And I was literally in the theater by myself. I'm like, I guess I'LL just watch it by myself. And he's like, oh. I thought she was like, sister was coming.
Kali
I'm like, what?
Trisha Paytas
No.
Malibu
I was like, what are you doing? It's like, I'm gonna watch a movie. I was like, usually when she says that, it means she has a plan.
Kali
Right, right, right.
Trisha Paytas
To go together.
Malibu
But you didn't ask me, do you want to go watch a movie? Well, you're just like, I'm gonna watch
Trisha Paytas
a movie, but you should just not go.
Malibu
I was, like, finishing up something. I was like, you know what? I might actually make it. So anyway, the guys were installing something. We were installing something, and then they were, like, about to clean it. I was like, no need to clean. Just wrap up.
Kali
See that Michael Jackson.
Trisha Paytas
Well, because you know what I did? I sent him the ticket. I was like, in case you can make it. So I already had the ticket. So he was like, oh, I thought you were. I guess I could have asked you,
Kali
but I. Yeah, because I do like Michael Jackson.
Trisha Paytas
He was just. And now, you know, favorite Michael Jackson song. God, I did my top four, and they're all ballads. I love Michael's ballads.
Kali
Which ones?
Trisha Paytas
Give me your one. Just give me a top two. Michael Jackson song.
Kali
I think I like. Hold on, let me. Let me look. Because I do like a lot. I like Heaven Can Wait and.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, Heaven Can Wait. From what album? From that one. Yeah.
Kali
Oh, and then Earth Song.
Trisha Paytas
Earth Song. Okay, so that was one of my.
Kali
I love Earth song.
Trisha Paytas
I love Earth song. I love his vocals. I love the music video. I love Earth songs.
Kali
We Are the World. That was a really good one, too.
Trisha Paytas
Have you seen that Trend all over TikTok?
Kali
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
When you're down and out there's no way we can fall and if you just believe there's no way we can fall we realize that saving our own life can stand together as one and Michael's just, like, looking in the back like, what the. Did you ever see, like, they are like, I haven't seen that one.
Malibu
I was a kid when that song came. I mean, I remember.
Trisha Paytas
Did you love it?
Malibu
Of course.
Trisha Paytas
Did you feel healed? Were you like, the world is healing?
Malibu
Yeah. I mean, I love this. Yeah. The song was like a moment. It wasn't as good as, like, you know, the COVID song Imagine, but it was pretty good.
Trisha Paytas
They were trying to be We Are the World people, like, stop singing this whole episode. No, but I do love it. I love Michael, too. Anyways, I was. I had to go deep into the Michael lore with you because we didn't really fully get into it, but the movie is really, really good. I do think he should win an Oscar. Have you been seeing John Travolta's beret?
Malibu
Yeah, beret and new face.
Kali
I seen it.
Trisha Paytas
New face.
Kali
I was like, wait a second.
Trisha Paytas
I'm loving this new face era of facelifts.
Kali
Oh, my God, he looks.
Trisha Paytas
Looks so good. He looks so good. You didn't see him in a parade with his head. He's like this. And like me when I tip my Starbucks barista.
Kali
No, no. I think I saw a picture with him and his daughter, I believe. I think.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, does he have a daughter? He does, yeah.
Malibu
There's a picture of him with someone randomly.
Kali
And that's when I was like, oh, my God, he looks so well.
Trisha Paytas
He kind of went away for like a couple years, and all of a sudden he came back.
Malibu
You can see that he's dying his beard and then something. You know, people think he got some work done.
Kali
Does he have hair now or is he so bald?
Trisha Paytas
He doesn't wear a beret, so. Oh, got you. But I do love the brain. He said he was wearing the beret because he's trying to act the part of a director, and I love that. I love a cosplay. I couldn't find my berets.
Kali
Oh, I see the beret. The white beret.
Trisha Paytas
He has a white and a black. You have to see the black beret with him, like, being posing. And he's kind of doing a little Pierre. You know, he's doing like a little, like. No.
Kali
You know where I saw him? Well, you can.
Trisha Paytas
Recently, he was at the.
Kali
He was in the front row of the Scientology, like, hundredth anniversary or whatever.
Trisha Paytas
Why were you there? She wasn't there. Why would I be like, you know where I saw him, and I was like, yeah.
Malibu
Are you one of those kids that's run into the building?
Kali
I think I'd be much more successful if I was. Wait, why cut it?
Trisha Paytas
Are you scared they're gonna come get you?
Kali
No, I'm not scared.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, it does. That picture does something.
Kali
Why is he cosplaying a director?
Trisha Paytas
I think he plays the director in his new movie at Cannes.
Kali
Oh, I see.
Trisha Paytas
Have you been keeping up with the Con Film Festival?
Kali
No.
Trisha Paytas
Ever been to the south of France?
Kali
I've never been to Europe at all.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, really? Why did I think you did? You've been to Asia?
Kali
Only Asia?
Trisha Paytas
Oh, I need a desire to go over to Europe?
Kali
No, I don't. I mean, I. Maybe, maybe, but I. I love all of, like the more tropical.
Trisha Paytas
Yes.
Kali
Places, destination.
Trisha Paytas
You went to Bali?
Kali
I went to Bali.
Trisha Paytas
I went to Billy. Bali.
Kali
Oh, I love that movie. And I've been to Singapore, Bahamas.
Trisha Paytas
Left your phone in Singapore?
Kali
Left my phone in China on my. My layover. Yeah. Oops.
Trisha Paytas
Bahamas. You were trying to get into the Australian tour of eras of.
Kali
I was. I was like, wait a second, we're going to Australia.
Trisha Paytas
We might be going to Australia. You do love an Australian.
Kali
But. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
So the koalas. I just want to hold a koala.
Kali
You can visit the. The koala ward. The koala ward is where they have like a.
Trisha Paytas
In. In Australia.
Kali
Yeah. Are you gonna go to Robert Irvine's?
Trisha Paytas
You sound like Mom Irwin's. Literally like, you should go visit Robert Irwin. I was like, I don't think you just go, like, hang out with him over there. I don't think he's like over here doing Dancing with the Stars and all that stuff.
Kali
Is that still going on?
Trisha Paytas
What?
Kali
Dancing with the Studio?
Trisha Paytas
I mean. Yes, it's been going on for 40 years. What do you meant with him?
Malibu
He won, right?
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, he's the new. But he's hosting the spin off the Dancing with the Stars Search for the pro.
Kali
Oh, yeah.
Trisha Paytas
And he's on the tour. So when we went to the tour here in la, he was one of the dancers that came out with like Andy Richter and stuff. People went. That was like the loudest applause I've ever heard was for Robert Irwin dancing. Like, it was. They went insane. It's.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
No, I love him too. It's just an interesting how amazing though,
Kali
like, to be loved and like, your dad was super loved and adored.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
And have that memory go on forever. I love that for him and continue
Trisha Paytas
being a good legacy because, like, Steve Irwin was like, so problematic. Everyone loved him and that's kind of like the new generation. Bindi and Robert, like, everyone just like
Kali
loves them so much, you know?
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. They seem like they have it all together. And Terry, his wife, like, she never remarried. I was like, she said, once you have like the greatest, you can't remarry.
Kali
So that's. I know.
Trisha Paytas
And it's so sad. And then your kids turn out to be so good. Hopefully there's like a heaven and you can actually like, you know when they say they're watching, I really hope that's true. I hope like our souls or something can, like watch. I don't know. I don't know how that happens, but that's a whole deeper. A deeper subject. Let's see I'm looking at my. Have you been doing the AI baseball trend? You haven't seen that where the girls use AI and they're just, like, beautiful in the. In the baseball stands? No. What? Oh, yes.
Kali
On the Jumbotron. Yes. Yes, I have.
Trisha Paytas
And just. I'm like, serving face. Everyone's feeling mad about it, but I'm like, if I knew how to use AI, maybe. No, I shouldn't.
Kali
I can't. No. AI is not very. It's not good. Don't use AI.
Trisha Paytas
Right.
Kali
I am against AI.
Trisha Paytas
I don't even know how to honestly, people be like, oh, I put it into AI And I was like, where do you put it?
Kali
I don't know. You have to, like, sign up for something. But they're popping up everywhere. Speaking of AI, did you hear that Alexa is. Or Amazon is going to have an Alexa plus where you can have. You can put in a topic and you can have a podcast on demand. It will AI generate a podcast and have, like, AI voices host the podcast for you.
Trisha Paytas
It's just, like, not gonna be good. I just feel like you can't get this on AI, you know what I mean?
Kali
You never know what we're gonna say.
Trisha Paytas
That's the part. It's just like, oh, did AI predict that I was gonna do a K pop song?
Kali
No.
Trisha Paytas
Like, you know what I mean? Like, if you typ church of pay as, like, they're not gonna just give you church singing Korean unless you type
Kali
that in the prompt, in which case
Trisha Paytas
I'll just do it. So I feel like, yeah, they don't know. And even those, like, AI fruits and stuff that I used to like, I'm just kind of like, it's not even that good. Like, you know what I mean?
Kali
Like, dancing fruits.
Trisha Paytas
No, the AI fruit dramas. You never watch those. No, where, like, the fruits, the banana would be cheating on the strawberry. And then when they had the baby, it was like an avocado.
Kali
No, I. I quite literally don't even know anything about that.
Trisha Paytas
And now they're getting crazy because it's like, AI like tampons with, like, a menstrual pad. And they're, like, having babies on YouTube. Where is TikTok?
Kali
Oh, my gosh.
Trisha Paytas
No, we don't support them.
Kali
No, I don't.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, you're right. No, I don't either.
Kali
Yeah, my dad sent me because we had. I had baby hummingbirds in my backyard, and he sent me a video, like, of a baby hummingbird. I'm like, dad, that's AI. He's like, is it? I'm like, look at the fingerprints on it. You can tell. I fall for two moments. She falls for it all the time, and she's just buying stuff. I'm like, okay, Mom.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, I know. She'll be like, can you dispute this with the card company? Like, it was. Was it the dinosaurs?
Kali
It was a 3D dinosaur blanket. I'm like, mom, why didn't you. You need to start asking me if it's real. Otherwise.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
I'm like, you could have made your own sew. Some freaking stuffed animals on a blanket. Boom. You got a three Dino blanket.
Trisha Paytas
Did she keep the dino blanket?
Kali
She did. She couldn't send it anywhere.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah. She's like, I don't know where this is.
Kali
Damn. I don't know where this is.
Trisha Paytas
In Illin, Illinois. I'm like, okay, well, it ended up all being.
Kali
And then I'm like, where did you buy. Where'd you even find this from? She's like, Facebook. I'm like, oh, my God.
Trisha Paytas
All the Facebook.
Malibu
Oh, my God. That's the problem. That's the target market.
Kali
I know they are targeting elders because they don't know any better.
Trisha Paytas
Just people on Facebook that are like.
Kali
It makes me so sad.
Trisha Paytas
I don't know.
Kali
Or, like, even AI like, like, articles and stuff, like, are just so not true.
Trisha Paytas
Like, oh, yeah. Well, actually, Facebook in general. Facebook Marketplace. I think Tan talked about this on that Loveline, and she got, like, scammed with, like, a car, like, this, like, blue convertible. And this guy was like, hold on. Right there.
Kali
A car on Facebook.
Trisha Paytas
Marketplace. Tana, I forgot what the scam was. Check on all of. I don't remember, but I guess.
Kali
You know what it reminds me of?
Trisha Paytas
What?
Kali
Little Lambo on offer up.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my God. Yeah. When my Lamborghini was stolen, the guy sold it on offer up for $10,000, and then a fan of mine bought it, and he's like, is this Tripadis at Lambo? I was like, yeah, I'm selling it for her. Like, this, like, ran this guy that stole in, like, broad daylight. And then the guy. That's how we found it. But I felt so bad, and I couldn't communicate with the guy because, like, obviously you can't, like, give a reward because then it looks like insurance fraud or something like that. Like, you just can't do. Yeah, I, like, I had to stop communicating with them because they're like, well, this is now, like, a criminal investigation.
Kali
And I felt.
Trisha Paytas
So that's what it's.
Kali
Getting a car on Facebook, marketing Oh, right.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. This guy would be like, this is my like, baby, I love this so much. Like I never want to part with it. I could part with it for you or something. And she says she felt something like something was off and she like ended up like not getting it because something like it was weird. But I guess he was, was like in this business of just like selling like these, the same car over and over.
Kali
Okay.
Trisha Paytas
But like wasn't selling the car that before.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
I don't know. I don't really get the Facebook marketplace. She does love a Facebook marketplace. But I'm like, Oscar does too. He'll like meet someone like in the middle of like a mall parking lot to get a little boo boo.
Kali
And I was like, back when the
Trisha Paytas
boo boo's were a thing. Which they're canceled now. But the boobies are canceled. I think just they're over expired.
Kali
Okay.
Trisha Paytas
God, what a craze. And that lasted. That was such a short lived.
Kali
They made their money and now they're.
Trisha Paytas
They bounced out.
Kali
Yeah, I'm sure people still buy the boo boo.
Trisha Paytas
So.
Kali
See, this is why you don't go with the trends. Because I don't have any. Well, I was gifted one, but that doesn't count because I never bought it myself.
Trisha Paytas
What one were you gifted and where?
Kali
My friend Jenny gave me one. It was just like a gray one with like the rainbow.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, that was like a rare one. That's like a rainbow. That's like a really ultra rare. Thank you so much to DraftKings Casino for sponsoring today's episode of Just Trish. Kali
I do have the. I have the Lefoufu that you gave me with the wig or Oscar A fan gave us one. That one podcast. She's got acrylics and. Oh, she's fierce.
Trisha Paytas
She's fierce.
Kali
Yeah. Bust down.
Trisha Paytas
That one was a good one. That was a good little boo boo.
Malibu
That's the difference between something fashionable.
Kali
There we go.
Trisha Paytas
I thought that was real.
Malibu
This is true.
Trisha Paytas
I know. Where did you get that from? Where did it come from again?
Malibu
What do you mean? He. He just finished his shift.
Kali
He got it at Barnes and Noble.
Trisha Paytas
No, but I mean, it was like last year. Now it's still here. You kind of.
Malibu
That's what I'm saying. It's not like people just get the labubus and don't care about them anymore.
Trisha Paytas
And is that an Arby's hat on it still?
Malibu
And shirt? Yeah.
Kali
I do love that, though. I still want the hot girls wear Arby's shirt.
Trisha Paytas
I have one. I think it's sold out. I have one, but it's a double XL on your tiny, teeny tiny.
Kali
I'll take it.
Trisha Paytas
How's your streaming going?
Kali
It's going really good.
Trisha Paytas
We've got to give you a shout at the beginning of the episode, but let's do it right now.
Kali
Caviator143 Calcator143.
Trisha Paytas
How often are you streaming?
Kali
Five days a week.
Trisha Paytas
Week. Do you ever do collabs?
Kali
Streaming collabs? I used to, but a lot of the time viewers would just want me to talk with them.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, like not play a game?
Kali
No, no, no. We were always playing again. Okay, but like.
Trisha Paytas
But yeah.
Kali
No, I haven't done a collab in a while.
Trisha Paytas
Any streamers? You want to go on their stream? A little kaizen at I show speed?
Kali
No.
Trisha Paytas
Clavicular neon?
Kali
No, none of those people that. Absolutely not. No, none of those.
Trisha Paytas
You wouldn't do like a vanilla amaze?
Kali
I would do an open amaze, yes. Katie B.
Trisha Paytas
Okay, why don't we hear about these? You know what? I collab with Jimmy.
Kali
Shout out Jimmy.
Trisha Paytas
You did? What was the collab?
Kali
Jimmy and Oscar. We played fortnite before.
Trisha Paytas
One time. No. Multiple. And how does that work?
Malibu
Who won?
Kali
Oh, well, there's. We're on a team. So did you guys lose? I don't think we won one.
Trisha Paytas
Okay, well, that's okay. You do have.
Kali
I Do carry them.
Trisha Paytas
Sorry, you do carry what?
Kali
Carry the team.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, with Fortnite. Yes. Well, maybe you need to play on their field, like Animal Crossing or Pokemon.
Kali
I'm down. Yeah, but, like, that's not a. That's not a shooter.
Malibu
Competitive game.
Kali
Yeah, it's not a competitive game. That's just like a hangout.
Trisha Paytas
I'd rather do a hangout game. Give me a Minecraft all day long.
Kali
Oh, I love a Minecraft. Oh, my God. I would love to have a Minecraft server with you guys.
Trisha Paytas
I feel like they like Minecraft too. We need to get on it. Maybe not Oscar, but I think Oscar
Kali
plays it, But Jimmy definitely does.
Trisha Paytas
He did, like, an edit that took two hours of me playing Minecraft or something. This is the one for E312.
Kali
Do you love Minecraft? Yeah, we play it all like the
Trisha Paytas
movie, but I don't know about them. Mario haven't played it. What?
Kali
You haven't even played Minecraft?
Trisha Paytas
Minecraft.
Kali
Ex Trish.
Trisha Paytas
When you tell me, you tell me you like Mario.
Kali
Yeah, I don't. I watched the first movie, but I don't like to support Chris Pratt. Why?
Trisha Paytas
That's so random. What a random beat.
Kali
He's problematic, and I just don't like him.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, because of his. Right.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
It's something with, like, his first son. He doesn't really, like, acknowledge as much that.
Kali
And just. Just there's a lot there. We could go on a deep dive, but we. We won't.
Trisha Paytas
He's a politician now.
Kali
Now he's not a politician.
Trisha Paytas
He married one.
Kali
Lds. What?
Trisha Paytas
What's that?
Kali
Mormon.
Trisha Paytas
No, that's two different things. Latter Day Saints is different than Mormons.
Kali
It's the same thing.
Trisha Paytas
No, it's not.
Kali
Yes, it is.
Trisha Paytas
Someone Google it.
Kali
Yes, LDS refers to the Mormon faith.
Trisha Paytas
What's the other one?
Kali
And the Mormons are like, don't call us Mormons because it's a slur. I'm like, okay, calm down.
Trisha Paytas
Who said that? Which Mormon? Well, the Mormon wives didn't.
Kali
Well, the Mormon. So the actual Mormons got mad at the title because they're like, oh, they're giving us a bad name.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, right, because they're not practicing Mormons.
Kali
Right, right, right. So now they don't even want to be called Mormons.
Malibu
Okay, well, they said the term Mormon typically refers to members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. LDS Church. I'm thinking of something the largest branch, which follows Brigham Young. Anyways, that's not God. But they can also be independently religious, secular, and non. Practicing.
Kali
Well, anyways, I think that he owns a. Like, a house that was on, like, a plantation. Just, like, not good vibes. Or maybe that's Blake Lively, and I
Trisha Paytas
think that's Ryan Reynolds. Oh, no. You know what he did?
Kali
He tore down a historic house.
Trisha Paytas
Chris Pratt. Yes. Okay. Yeah.
Kali
So my hate for him runs.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my God. I hate him.
Kali
I don't hate him, but I don't
Trisha Paytas
want to support him. Who would you rather support, Chris Pratt or James Charles?
Kali
Oh, God. Oh, my God. That's. I guess I'm gonna have to go with Chris Pratt.
Trisha Paytas
Wow. Yeah, that makes sense. Yeah. He doesn't seem like he's making fun of people who lose their jobs or anything.
Kali
Or he doesn't, like, do inappropriate things with underage children.
Trisha Paytas
Right. Yeah. Young boys.
Kali
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
So, speaking of awful people, the Valley.
Kali
Oh, my God.
Trisha Paytas
Did you watch a hey, Sister watch for you for research. I love that she started from the beginning. We tried to start from the beginning,
Kali
and I was like, let me just
Trisha Paytas
get into the episodes everyone's talking about, because from the beginning is diabolical when you're like, do you watch the show? I was like. Like, it's a tough one. Moses was tuned out. It was.
Kali
Can I just. It's not a good show.
Trisha Paytas
It's not a good show.
Kali
It's. I was bored.
Trisha Paytas
But everybody loves it, so I'm like, you know what? Let me know. Everyone does not love it this season. They did love the first season. They're like, how is someone worse than Jax? Like, I guess, apparently Danny and Luke. Luke, that's the name. The one that's married.
Kali
The one who just had a baby with Christian.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Yes, Luke. They were kind of, like, beloved the first few seasons because I think they didn't talk. But this season, they're, like, diabolical when
Kali
they open their mouth. That's the problem part.
Trisha Paytas
I think Jax was on the first couple seasons. I don't know. I only know Jax is a Britney, and I just know he seems like. He looks like. I don't know, you know him. I don't know his vibes.
Kali
Yeah, well, I would catch a few episodes of Vanderpump Rules.
Trisha Paytas
People love that one. And bpr.
Kali
That's why people like the Valley, because it's them now grow up, grown up and, like, married and have children.
Trisha Paytas
Well, that, to me, kind of got me. Which I like, by the way. I'm not, like, hating on this. I like that they're, like, my age. I kind of like that they're like millennials, because I thought that everyone was, like, young and not to say they're not attractive, but it's like, oh, these are people that, like, look like me and act like me. And I. Yeah, I think it's a
Kali
show geared more towards you because it's definitely about, like, young families and, like, navigating the new relationship with the new baby and, like, struggles with postpartum and stuff like that. So I do see it for that audience. I don't relate to that.
Trisha Paytas
But that. That is like. Right. It is kind of like my era. But I think it's also like, like, maybe you watch it to feel better about your own life because. Well, let me tell you, I did
Kali
feel better about my own life and my decisions. I'm like, if this is trying to make me want to have a trad
Trisha Paytas
wife, I don't try. Like, no, for sure. No. And that's what I said, too. I literally started off my tick tock. I was just like. Because I'd never make tick tocks unless I'm, like, really upset about something. And I was seeing all the clips of Danny and Nia and I was just like, this actually is the reason people don't want marriage and don't want babies specifically.
Kali
And he just looks like.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my God.
Kali
He reminded me of like, a.
Trisha Paytas
No. Old Smurf. No.
Kali
Like a soap opera actor.
Trisha Paytas
You know what I mean?
Kali
Like, he's got that look.
Trisha Paytas
And I'm just like, he also kind of looks like a pug.
Kali
Kind of.
Trisha Paytas
But so sorry to the pugs, because pugs are pretty cute. But. But when they. He's like, human.
Kali
I'm like, okay, maybe he's like, rich. No, they just moved to Santa Clarita. I'm like, girl, no hate on Santa Clarita. Very unfortunate.
Trisha Paytas
It is affordable living.
Kali
But she was, like, not having it. She's like, I'm away from my friends who's like, I'm struggling with postpartum too. That it could be close to them.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
Far away.
Trisha Paytas
Well, she also has been pregnant, like me for like, literally, like. Well, she has four, so she's been. She said she's been pregnant or breastfeeding for literally, like, the past five years, six years.
Kali
I don't know how she does it. It's.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. I don't know if that's. I'm not like, hating on it. I don't know if that's like a recommended thing. Because your body, like, I feel like, needs to, like, adjust time to the hormonal adjustment. Yeah. Like, reproduce some milk replenish. Your body. I think it's recommended to usually wait a little bit.
Kali
I think you are even worried that you had gotten pregnant so fast the third time. Yes.
Trisha Paytas
I'm like, especially with C section. They're like, you're supposed to have at least a year. They recommend like, a year and a half and, like, two. Okay, fine. You're only supposed to really have three C sections total. But also back to back, like, when
Kali
you told me that.
Trisha Paytas
No, no, same. No. I. We didn't even record our reaction. We have reactions to our first.
Kali
I wish you had that reaction of me because I'm like, what?
Trisha Paytas
I know.
Kali
I was like, you just had a baby.
Trisha Paytas
No, but, like, it was so hard at both those babies. Like, we did the HSG test both times, and if you guys don't know, that's, like, when you clear out your tubes. We did it both times. And you get, like. If you have trouble with, like, infertility, like. Like, it's the first step when you take your fertility journey to, like, do IVF or something like that, to kind of check and clear all your stuff. And, like, a lot of people do get pregnant after those tests and those work. So if you're struggling with something, might I recommend. They don't usually recommend IVF to you. Or. I'm sorry, not IVF. HSG test before IVF because it's less expensive. It's only like, 600. So I think in general, they kind of want to, like, make more money, so they sometimes skip that. But I would ask if you're struggling with infertility, to ask for an HSG test. We learned that from Tiffany. We learned that from someone else, too. That I was like, let's just try this out. So it's hard for people. Yeah.
Malibu
And they'll use it basically as a test before they do the ivf. So it was even hard to get it because we went to the doctor. The doctor was like, wait, why are you here? How'd you get here? How'd you get this test?
Trisha Paytas
So we're like, oh, our doctor recommended it.
Malibu
You can say, yeah, we're going to do Ivan, but we want to do this test first and then go for
Kali
it after the test, you know?
Trisha Paytas
Although by the second time we went, they're kind of like, okay, you're back. And I was like, yeah, well, we got pregnant the first, so let's try this again. So, like, and sometimes they're. Sometimes they're good, and they will, but, like, yeah, a lot of times they don't want to tell you that. Whatever. And we recommended to some people we know in irl and it worked for them, and they were, like, over 40, so that was. That was great. But all that to say, where was I going with this? The hsg.
Kali
I'm just saying it was so back to back.
Trisha Paytas
For Elvis and Malibu. We did the HSG test because, like, with Elvis, it was taking, like, a little while. Like, longer than expected. Because we wanted them back to back just because of age. Our ages and stuff. In my age particularly. And then so when we got pregnant with Aquaman, it was literally, like, one time having sex. And it was just like the floodgates were open apparently. I guess so, because also it was like, way we were. I was actually, like, tracking. And I was like, that week of ovulation, like, not even anywhere close to it. So this was, like, right before my period, all this stuff like that. I was like, oh, this is. Whatever, it's fine. Insane. That wasn't. That was the most insane thing. And yeah, like, they. Again, I'm not a doctor, but what I've read a lot is you're really only supposed to have, like, three C sections and definitely, like, wait a year in between because you. Something where it, like, needs to, like, rebuild. Like your. Because you can structure.
Kali
Yeah.
Malibu
You have a scar that's healing and there's like, six different layers.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
Even if after getting your boobs done, it's like six months.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Malibu
Here you get another pregnancy, which means all of those cars are going to stretch now. So you need them to be fully.
Trisha Paytas
It's also, like, you risk uterine rupture. Like, that can happen. And so you have to, like, really monitor really well. I think even. I mean, Aquaman came so early, but that was the not problem. But, like, I had such a traumatic birth because his head was, like, really, like, far down already. And I think they did say it was really thin. Whatever the layer was, was super thin. And that's why he got the fetal laceration, which was, like, cutting his head and stuff like that. So it was just like, well, now
Kali
he's got a perfect head. So he doesn't have a perfect head now.
Trisha Paytas
It is wonderful. It healed nicely. Babies are resilient. We talked about this, like, I think yesterday on Hot Topics talked about how resilient they are, but. Oh, yeah, I think Oscar talked about he accidentally dropped a baby on the head. Or. No, it was baby fellow. I don't know. Something. But I was like, maybe they're resilient. But a while ago, when he was a little Kid. Not now, anyways.
Kali
Got it, got it, got it.
Trisha Paytas
But I. Look, they're resilient and they are. So don't be too scared of a baby. Obviously. Watch them. But if they get a little bump, they're usually fine. But all that to say aside from the physical aspect, also just like, emotional, hormonal. Everything's just like. And it's a lot. Can I tell you now, being I'm 10 months postpartum for the first time, I've been pregnant for the past. Since 2021. Since December 2021, I've been pregnant or yeah, like, postpartum, and I only had, like, three periods in the past four years, which is, like, so crazy. But now being 10 months, which is still not fully out, you're really kind of fully out at, like, two years. Like, you kind of start feeling yourself again. But even now, just, like, energy and the way I feel, I was like, oh, my gosh. Like, you really are like a different. Like, you feel like a human again. Something when you're pregnant. I loved it. But it does feel very surreal and very abnormal and hormones are crazy, and you are like, just. It can be all out of whack. As much as I love being pregnant, I also realized that I was just a little bit out of my head.
Kali
I felt bad for you during postpartum, though.
Trisha Paytas
You can't tell any.
Kali
You can't tell a woman about postpartum, you know?
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. And sometimes you don't know. Sensitive, right? That's for sure.
Kali
Being respect. I was trying to be respectful of you and, like, your feelings are valid, too.
Trisha Paytas
Like, yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Kali
But your emotions are super heightened. And I just felt so bad for you that I would be on the verge of tears because I'm like, I see my sister suffering.
Trisha Paytas
No, it's a lot. It's a lot. And people, like, don't realize. I think also people, like, online, it's like when someone just had a baby. Because people, like, are really respectful when you're, like, pregnant. They're always, like, glowing. Love this. And then, like, they forget. Like, the aftermath is like.
Kali
It's so funny that you say that. Kristen on the show.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
Had said, oh, my God. Everyone was like, oh, my God, you're pregnant. What are you doing at the, like, the store? I was being praised and I was. Everyone was being nice to me, and I have the baby and then they forget.
Trisha Paytas
Quiet. Everyone just quiet. Forgets about you. Like, just, oh, she's fine now. Like, whatever. She's had the baby. But it's like, that's, like, the hardest. And then you also have to take care of a baby on top of that. We were talking about last Hot Topics, Elsie Hewitt, who just had a baby with Pete Davidson.
Kali
Oh, yes. Apparently he's a deadbeat dad.
Trisha Paytas
Right? We talked about that yesterday. Yeah, allegedly. Not allegedly. According to healthy. She's like, I'm doing this on my own. And she's just like, he's. She's not around, like, financially supporting or physically supporting. And it's just like, you just had a baby. All your hormones are out of whack. And then on top of that, and she, like, put out an Instagram story. Elsie looking for, like, a mommy's helper, a nanny. Like, she was, like, looking for this. Like, he's not helping her. He's not going through an agency to get, like, a nice nanny or something like that. Like, she's posting all this alone. And I'm telling you, you are like, the worst kind of person. Because it's like, even if you, like, don't like each other, because usually, guys, we always say this. Well, we saw it from the Valley back to the Valley. Was it. Was it Luke who was like, like, oh, I don't get, like, any, like, intimacy or any, like, sex. And she's like, my body, like, hurts. Like, my body. I just, like, don't feel good in my body. Like, what do you mean? Like, I don't want to have, like, I just don't have sex with you right now. Like, I have this baby because not only that, you have to take care of the baby, but then when your man is a baby too, when the father is also being a baby, which is both Danny and Luke. Luke, I give a little more pass, I guess, like, first time dad, he, like, maybe is a little shook that he's not getting all the attention. But Danny, it's your fourth time around and you don't know how to swaddle your baby. Like, you have to, like. And then he's like, mad that she's eating a sandwich. And I was like, did you see on the train? So, okay, so the Valley is okay. Vanderpump. So they worked at Vanderpump Rules. That's what it is. And now they're, like, grown up, some of them.
Kali
I. I don't know if Nia did. I don't recognize some of them because I watched the earlier seasons of Vanderpump.
Trisha Paytas
Okay.
Kali
I don't really recognize.
Trisha Paytas
Where does Tom Sandoval of it in this role. In this role. He was on Sandoval So he was,
Kali
he was on Vanderpump Rules.
Trisha Paytas
He was with the, the group like Jackson, Brittany. Yes. Okay.
Kali
And Schwartz and Ariana and Katie and Lala.
Trisha Paytas
All of them. I do like Lala. I love her. She was the one that came out and was like, I'm not comfortable with the way you're speaking to Danny.
Kali
I don't like, first of all, he was belligerent. I think that was apparent. Yes. Yeah, absolutely. And like he was just so weird. The fact that like I don't see them together as like a couple, Danny.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, it is.
Kali
She seems so much more like, like together and he seems like a mess.
Trisha Paytas
That's what I don't get either. I guess he was like a child star or something like that. So maybe she thought there was like some appeal there, that he was like famous at one point or something. I don't know what his deal is. I don't know what he does now on the show.
Kali
I don't know either. I have no idea. It didn't mention it on the show.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, I don't know if he's like.
Kali
And then he went to go get his like his vasectomy or whatever. Did he?
Trisha Paytas
Oh, I didn't see that. Where, what episode was that?
Kali
Was that before?
Trisha Paytas
After the San Diego trip Before?
Kali
Oh yeah.
Trisha Paytas
And what did he say? Oh, so that's good. At least he got that.
Kali
Well then he's like, like the doctor was like, oh, first of all, he's very crass about his genitalia.
Trisha Paytas
What did he say?
Kali
He's just like, oh my God, my balls are so big or whatever. It's like, who cares about that? Okay.
Trisha Paytas
Just like on TV you have like. I get it.
Kali
Maybe they're like trying to play it up for the tv but like, honestly it's very off putting.
Trisha Paytas
It's off putting. Cuz I, I think like you don't need to play that up for the TV being like, no, no one cares about your balls.
Kali
Maybe Nia does, but I don't, I certainly don't.
Trisha Paytas
Nia does stand 10 toes down for him because I feel like next episode
Kali
she's so meek and like, like so like, you know, quiet.
Trisha Paytas
Maybe it gives someone who like kind of like what you were saying who doesn't know they're being. I don't. Abuse is like such a crazy term but like doesn't know they're in this like manipulation cycle. This like gaslighting cycle.
Kali
I think that she does.
Trisha Paytas
So she kind of just is like, I don't know what Are you gonna do.
Kali
She's got four kids with him.
Trisha Paytas
That is. That is the hard part. That is the hard part.
Kali
And of course, we don't know how their relationship is out of just this one segment, but it is not. Look, it does not.
Trisha Paytas
He was saying that she is the one who wanted more kids, that he was, like, good with, like, two.
Kali
She was the one that made the vasectomy appointment.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, okay.
Kali
So I don't know where he's getting that from.
Trisha Paytas
Okay, so maybe I don't know either, but that's. Yeah. Four kids is a lot. I always say that. I always say three kids is a lot. Four kids seems insane, but more power.
Kali
But going back to, like. Like, the vasectomy appointment when he got. The doctor told him, like, you won't be. You'll still be able to. Your sperm will still have. Be able to create a child after 35 times of ejaculation. Then you'll be sterile.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, I didn't know. Is that true for all vasectomies?
Kali
I believe so.
Trisha Paytas
Good to know. Because any vasectomies and be like, we're pregnant again. I'm like, well, maybe know the fine print, right? I didn't know that. But.
Kali
So then he gets home, and, like, she's struggling. She's always, you know, breastfeeding or doing something. That poor girl.
Trisha Paytas
And like, four kids under four almost, right?
Kali
Like, oh, she's, like, trying to, like, have a serious conversation about, like, how hurt she's feeling, how she's been feeling about, like, away from whatever her postpartum. And he's like, well, you're gonna be a lot busy because I put 35 days of sex on the calendar. I'm like,
Trisha Paytas
when people say that, it's, like, actually so gross. Like, what do you mean? Like, that's not what I'm thinking about at all.
Kali
So gross.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. And that's. That's what you say to someone who's, like, trying to open up and be like, I'm kind of struggling right now.
Kali
I. It's, like, juvenile.
Trisha Paytas
Like, humor is what he's doing. And they're like, middle. They're like, marage. My. My age. Right? Like, middle age.
Kali
Older. He's older.
Trisha Paytas
Is he 40?
Kali
I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
Let me look it up.
Kali
Because, honestly, I hate that guy.
Trisha Paytas
I do hate that guy. I do hate him, too. I did. No, my blood boiled. That's why I was like, this is why women don't want to have kids with men. And, like, I honestly. I don't blame them. Like, I. It's. It's. I don't know. I don't know. I. I would. If I had kids with anybody that I wanted to have kids with before,
Kali
I probably would have been, like, 42.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, you're way too old and too grown, and it's not cute, like you said. I get it if you're, like, trying to play it up for the thing, but this is not cute. But what people were saying is, like, if this is you on camera, like, imagine, Right? Yeah.
Kali
Like, if this is how you talk to her in front of people, how do you talk to her behind closed doors?
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. And then he's like, it's none of your business. I was like, you're in. In a communal house that you're all sharing and you're being loud. I hated that episode, too, when she was giving the makeover to him, and he was being so, like, condescending, like, just, you know, just put it on, and I need it to be perfect, and I need this. And it's just like, you're taking the fun out of everything. When they went on their little date on the. The pier, and he was just like, you're being performative right now. You're being performative.
Kali
He insane.
Trisha Paytas
Reminded me of an ex, and I think you know which one I'm talking about where. Like, a switch.
Kali
Like.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Where. You remember, we were, like, on the set of the music video, and he was, like, so grouchy. And as soon as someone came around, he was, like, turned it on. And I was like, that is giving Danny. That is giving. Psychopathic tendency, in my opinion. And that was, like, so scary to watch. And then calling her performative, I'm like, you're. Without the kids. She's probably so happy. She's probably trying to, like, you know, you. You try and get the energy up. Like, okay, we're out without the kids.
Kali
What are we gonna do?
Trisha Paytas
Like, and to, like, throw it in her face.
Kali
The fact that she had to explain to him, like, I've. You've only been around me for the last five years when I've been with. With kids.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Yeah.
Kali
And so this is me without kids.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. And it's like, he didn't know the, like, difference. And she just had a baby, so she's also still going through, like, the postpartum changes and everything like that.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
The fact that he, like, couldn't.
Kali
What really was concerning to me is that, like, I forgot who mentioned it, but someone was like, they don't air their dirty laundry. They very much keep it at home. So I'm like, who? I, Danny and Nia.
Trisha Paytas
Who said that though?
Kali
I don't remember who, just somebody like someone had prefaced it. So the fact that he is doing this like so openly, I'm just like, oh my God, what are they dealing with at home?
Trisha Paytas
At least, like, that's out there and people can like see it now. And I think it's good. Honestly. It's giving like 16 and pregnant where it was like, you know, the, the pregnant. The teen pregnancy rates like dropped greatly after 16 pregnant. I feel like that's gonna happen with this. It's like girls will stop or women will stop having babies with like lose men. You know what I mean?
Kali
Because the lowest it's ever been.
Trisha Paytas
Is it.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
If you are just like, I'm not gonna have kids.
Kali
It's so expensive to have kids too. It's very hard to find a partner that's willing to help you raise a family.
Trisha Paytas
The men are actually like so worthless in this like partnership. Like that is actually like so crazy how you can't help at all. When she had the baby in the carrier on the train, bouncing, trying to eat a sandwich and he's laying back, getting a massage, I wanted to, I wanted to like, I know, shake him so hard. I'm like, what is your problem? Take the baby or something. Feed her the sandwich.
Kali
Like, what are you like?
Trisha Paytas
And then she's like, can you take the baby? He's like, I'm going to get a coffee. And then she's like, okay, well when we get upset, I was going to get a coffee first. I was like, I, I like. And she doesn't see it like you said. Like, I feel like Lala will get like chewed out for like, you know, saying any of that stuff because she like doesn't either see it or like,
Kali
like you said, has her own past. So she recognizes Lala has.
Trisha Paytas
Shares a baby daddy with one of the other people, right? No, no, that's another person. There's two girls who share a baby daddy. No, the blonde.
Kali
Oh yes. Lacey and. Oh, Michelle.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, yeah. And they're like, like, cool.
Kali
They don't have a baby together. Lacy and the other guy.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, okay. They don't.
Kali
They just, they're just dating.
Trisha Paytas
They're just co parenting. Got it. Okay. The other. Okay, so.
Kali
So no one shares baby daddy, but Lala had abusive or manipulative, whatever kind of narcissistic relationship with a Hollywood producer.
Trisha Paytas
And okay, yes, I did see something like that.
Kali
So she has experience in seeing like shifts in men. And, like, so she gets very triggered. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
As she said. And then that Danny just started taunting her with the triggered word. He's like, oh, I missed. Trigger. I missed.
Kali
I was like, actually, no, you're just a douche, essentially.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Oh, my God. No. Like, you're actually the worst person. Because it's one thing to do it to your partner, and it's like, all right, she has to deal with it, not me. But then you're doing it to other people on the cast, in the house that are obviously all down there for the same purpose. No, I hated that so much. And I was like, you're such a loser. And, like, you're just, like. You contribute nothing. Like, you said, not rich. He's not hot. He's, like, contributing nothing. So also, you're not a good father. On top of that, like, you. You have to pick. You have to pick one. You have to pick one thing that you're, like, good at. And you're good at nothing. Nothing. You're literally good at nothing. And that's.
Kali
Her mom is around a lot of the time, too. And then on that trip, they brought a nanny, and it's just like, what do you do, though?
Trisha Paytas
What do you do?
Kali
Except for complain that you have to put the baby down and her eyes are waking up. Her eyes are waking up. I'm like, first of all, sir, I don't think that's how you say that. You say, I can't get the baby down. Not, her eyes are waking. Her eyes are waking up.
Malibu
And I'm like, english is not my first language, but I would not.
Trisha Paytas
That was. We saw that because that was the clip you were watching you saying it over and over, too.
Kali
Like, I don't think that's the right
Trisha Paytas
way to say it. Have you never put, like, your baby down? Like, you know when her eyes are, like, open and she's just not sleeping? Like, what? Like, it's so. Like, he's so.
Kali
He's like, never done this before, ever.
Trisha Paytas
That part, like, scared me. I'm like, this is your fourth baby. I get it for a second. Okay? But, like, fourth baby, you can't put your baby down. And then he's like, well, we have to sit her. Like, what is she for? She's also, like, cleaning the. The nanny's, like, cleaning stuff and everything like that. And there's three other babies. I'm like, you are. So imagine being the nanny.
Kali
And he's like, well, why did we
Trisha Paytas
get a nanny here? But they showed her, like, doing the bottles or something. Like, she's cleaning something else, which he wasn't doing. I'm like, he's just, oh, my God, you're eating a sandwich. I'd be like, oh, my God, I'm gonna bite your head off next.
Kali
How about that? Don't ever comment on my food that far.
Trisha Paytas
I was like, wait, what do you mean you're so upset? She was getting like, a little huffy and stuff. And I'm like, understandably so. But it's. It's like, God, just one thing after the other. And then the makeover and then this. And I'm just like, this person is awful. And people do not want him on the next season. And I think this, overall, this, like,
Kali
I actually don't really like a lot of the people on there.
Trisha Paytas
I like the girls. I like.
Kali
I like Lala. I like.
Trisha Paytas
Which one? Schwartz.
Kali
Tom. And that's going to be controversial.
Trisha Paytas
Which one is Tom Schwartz?
Kali
The one that's single and he's.
Trisha Paytas
He's on there now? Yes. Was he on the trip to San Diego?
Kali
Actually, yes, I think so. He's gay. No, he's very much straight.
Trisha Paytas
There's a gay one, Zach. I like the gay ones.
Kali
I like Zach. I do think that he gets into everybody's.
Trisha Paytas
Well, that's his character, I guess he's.
Kali
I guess, like, if there is an
Trisha Paytas
issue, Zach's right there. Yeah. That's why we need a sassy gay all the time. We need you in the weeds. You need to be in the mess. I just, I.
Kali
He's like, in everything. He was. He was at the appointment with Danny getting a vasectomy.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, see, that's what I'm saying. He's just there for the tea. He's there for their time, honestly. And I love that. That's why you need that in the. Okay, so I like that they have it like the morn was needed again.
Kali
But, you know, it's not even that. He's, like, in the middle of it. I feel like people go to him for issues. Like Kristen and Luke.
Trisha Paytas
Like, they were both voice of reason.
Kali
I'm like, why don't you go seek a professional maybe?
Trisha Paytas
Well, maybe he is. What does he do? We know. Yes.
Kali
Because he said, you guys need to go see.
Trisha Paytas
Was he working at. At Vanderpump?
Kali
I don't know. Like I said, I didn't watch the later seasons of Vanderpump. But what happened to Pump?
Trisha Paytas
What happened to that restaurant I love with the lobster pasta? So the show couldn't keep it alive one time where's Tom. Tom.
Kali
TomTom.
Trisha Paytas
I think. No, it's down.
Kali
Really?
Trisha Paytas
I think.
Kali
I don't know if it's down. I think Jack's bar is down.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, Jax had a bar in the Valley. Maybe that's why. Was it in the Valley? Was it in, like, Student City? It was in the Valley, yeah. It's like, oh, no.
Kali
But I think Tom. Tom's still around because I think they
Trisha Paytas
had brunch there or something. Okay.
Kali
In the show.
Trisha Paytas
Well, Jackson on the season, right.
Kali
He's no, thank God. And you know what? I never understood why Stassi and whoever it was Kristen. Maybe because Kristen Dan him. I don't know. One of the girls dated him.
Trisha Paytas
He's not.
Kali
They were fighting about him. I don't think he was hot.
Trisha Paytas
Like, even in his youth, his body.
Kali
I. I don't think he was like,
Trisha Paytas
Tom said, well, okay, kind of hot back in the day, but back in the day.
Kali
But he's.
Trisha Paytas
Jack's not.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
I don't get it at all. Brittany was hot. Britney is hot.
Kali
High.
Trisha Paytas
I still think she's high. Obviously. She just had, like, babies and stuff like that. Like, but she was also very hot when she, like, she was always the hot one in that relationship. So I don't know what happened.
Kali
The Valley would be fine if there was no men on the show.
Trisha Paytas
I think that's. That's what I was gonna say because
Kali
Britney's man was also pissing me off too.
Trisha Paytas
Which one was he?
Kali
Brandon. It's a new thing. And like, by the next episode, he was like being in everybody's drama.
Trisha Paytas
I was like, okay, you're new here. You're new that you're new. Yeah, that was like Mormon wives, too. Like, he was new and he was like, telling her, like, you're being manipulated by your kids. I'm like, you're new here. Like, who are you? You're like a 24 year old, no kids. Like, why are you. I hate when that happens.
Kali
Like, hey, you're the new kid in school.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Don't come on your lazing unless you're on Real Housewives or something like that. Yeah, it's 100% with you. I'm 100% there. Yeah, yeah. The Vander Vanderpump. What is it called? Valley. The Valley.
Kali
Valley.
Trisha Paytas
It's giving. Look, I like. I like the women. I do like the women. And I do love. I like what you said. Like, you're not in that era, but I do love that it's like showing real. And I love that they do Wear, like, no makeup, because that's, like, me half the time. Like, no, make hair down.
Kali
I felt really bad for Kristen, though. She went out for, like, breakfast with some of the girls, and, like, she just had a breakdown about, like, how she doesn't feel good about her body and herself and her self image is like, yeah, I felt really bad. And I do think that's really positive to show other women that are at home that, like, yeah, don't get to see that, you know?
Trisha Paytas
Oh, I've been loving the conversation on it, too. Like, Hidden Penny here just went on Jay Shetty, and she was talking so much about her. Her postpartum depression, and they diagnosed it as alcoholism. Like, obviously, she was, like, drinking at the time, too. She goes, but they didn't even tell me that it could be postpartum depression. It was just like, oh, you're an alcoholic. We're gonna treat you for that. Like, not tying in, like, maybe the reasoning behind the drinking and stuff like that, which was the postpartum depression, which is when she, like, signed over custody of her daughter kind of unknowingly, like, how, like, she wasn't, like, gonna, like, get her back, and now her daughter's in the Ukraine, and now they have, like, a good relationship and stuff like that. But it is so wild when. And she was young. She was, like, 25 when she had her daughter. And it's just, like, I do, like, that people are about it, because it's scary, too. People judge. Like, Hayden Pantiere was like, you know, she talked about her. Her mom. She was scared she's gonna be like her mom. And the thing is, is, like, everybody, I think, goes through it, even if you don't know it. Like, I feel like with Elvis, I felt like I had a perfect postpartum, but I was just also, like, maybe not, like, looking back, because you just don't know. You don't know when you're in it. But certain things can, like, trigger you, and it is a crazy thing. Like, I was pretty happy. I had so much support from Malibu to Elvis Aquaman. I had so many people, but it still, like, one of those things that's just overwhelming. And it's a change every time you have a baby.
Kali
So even if you have people around you, doesn't make you feel it sometimes that doesn't make you feel any better either. Like, it's the internal thing of yourself, you know, like, you're 100 hormones. You're dealing with your thoughts, you're dealing with your. Your new body and stuff. Like, that. That part can't.
Trisha Paytas
You know, your body changes, like, so much. Even if you, like, snap back, whatever. Just, like the internal of everything, like, your body changes. So I do appreciate the value for that because it is giving, like, realness. And it's because, you know, there's the housewives, right? But they're a lot older than me, and it's like, they're a different lifestyle. They're all like, you know, whatever, skinny, rich, everything the Valley gives. More real. And so I don't know where any of these people are, but I like it. And that's what I like about it.
Kali
I kind of like.
Trisha Paytas
I love that these people are just on there.
Kali
And. But the fact, like, Brittany, though, she is very attached.
Trisha Paytas
I love Britney. Yes.
Kali
What can I do for you? Like, she's so.
Trisha Paytas
Because she knows she's. She was getting a mommy makeover. I was kind of like, I need you as my friend. Yeah. She's taking care of everything at the house. I think she said she was, like, paying for his taxes.
Kali
She made a whole sensory room for her son. I was like, that's so. No, I like to go in that sensory room.
Trisha Paytas
Me, too. We all need a sensory room. I think that's so.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
She's so special. I just wish they would show, like. I do love that they show, like, musty, dusty men. Because that is the reality that so many women.
Kali
I don't think there's one man on
Trisha Paytas
there that I like. That's what I'm saying. I wish there was, like, one person kind of like. Like Connor with Whitney on. There's, like, one guy that gives you a redeeming hope, like, maybe one day, you know, but you just see all these pieces, and it's like, we get it and we like that.
Kali
But, like, you know what's crazy? Here's the crazy part. Janet is not a favored person on the show.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
She was pretty much alienated from the group because she called out Danny for being inappropriate.
Trisha Paytas
What season when this was, like, early in the episode. Earlier in the season?
Kali
No, like, previous season.
Trisha Paytas
What did she say? I didn't know that.
Kali
Something about, like, her, like, him being grabby. And so I'm like, wait a second here.
Trisha Paytas
They try to like.
Kali
And so they alienated Janet, which, honestly, I don't know much about Janet because I only watched this season.
Trisha Paytas
She's not on the season.
Kali
She is on the season.
Trisha Paytas
Was she in the San Diego trip? No.
Kali
Oh, yes, she was.
Trisha Paytas
Which one was okay? Was she on that?
Kali
Or maybe she was at a different Party anyways, but I thought it was very interesting that she called out Danny.
Trisha Paytas
And that always happens when you're the one to call out bad behavior. They try to.
Kali
To.
Trisha Paytas
They try to extract you. They try to be like, oh, no. Like, they protect like the toxic one and then they extract the person. But then it's like, that's the problem. And we were talking about this the other day too, on Hot Topics is when you're the first to call out someone, everyone says you're crazy. They were talking about this because when I called out James Charles Back in 2021, Oscar read me the list of people who were like, yeah, get her. Eat her up. It was like, dream Charli d', Amelio, like, all these people. And I was like, let's. Let's ask their opinions on James Charles now. You know what I mean? But when you're the first to say something. That's why nowadays I am being a little more meek and mild these days. I know. Shocking. But it's like I. I just kind of like to sit back because it can't come from.
Kali
You can have your own thoughts.
Trisha Paytas
I know, but if it's like a James Charles, like, okay, well, I've been saying this about James Charles, but yeah, I try to, like, yeah, the cats
Kali
are already in bag.
Trisha Paytas
Sometimes the messenger, it's like, maybe, okay, maybe not for me. You need to hear. Maybe you need to hear from someone else.
Kali
Which is.
Trisha Paytas
Which makes sense. Like when Jackie Aina called out James Charles, everyone's like, oh, you know, because they listen to her. Which makes sense. She's respectful, never in drama. We love her. She's a queen.
Kali
But honestly, I don't think maybe Jackie or Jackie Janet was wrong because about Danny.
Trisha Paytas
Well, obviously, because look at how he
Kali
gets when he gets drunk. He gets. Yes.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, I don't know. Yeah, I haven't.
Kali
I don't know about Grabby, but I'm just.
Trisha Paytas
We believe it when we. Or we're believing her because context clues is like, he seems a little.
Kali
He needs to get it together under the influence.
Trisha Paytas
You are like parents at the end of the day. And it's just like, you know, obviously you can like, let loose and make mistakes and all that stuff like that. But like, also like, you know, your kids will see this one day. Like, I don't understand how you. You're just also the way you treat their mom. It's also just like, she's like taking care of all your kids for you. Like what? Like, it's so weird.
Kali
But anyways, well, yeah, I'm glad that you don't like Danny either because I was looking at it and I was like cringing.
Trisha Paytas
He's the. I don't wanna say he's the reason I started watching the show, but I guess I had to because I was just seeing clips. I'm like, there's just no way. This must be out of context. There's no way he's this bad also.
Kali
He's that bad. Just don't ever comment on what a woman is eating ever in your whole life, ever.
Trisha Paytas
Okay?
Kali
Not what she's buying at the grocery store, not what she's putting in her mouth.
Trisha Paytas
Nothing ever, never forever comment.
Kali
If you didn't learn from Love is Blind. How many years ago with the clementines?
Trisha Paytas
Oh my God. So specific.
Malibu
Well, because we're going to have dinner.
Kali
Well, still don't.
Malibu
If she was.
Trisha Paytas
He's joking.
Kali
He was.
Trisha Paytas
He's joking.
Kali
I know.
Malibu
Just remember that whole scene.
Trisha Paytas
He knows. Well, he knows.
Kali
He knows because he knows me.
Trisha Paytas
I'm like, not that he ever did. I'm very sensitive with food. It comes to food. It's like, nope, don't even question if I'm hungry, whatever. But. But you've always been good with that. But some people, it's not that way
Kali
and they need to get it in line.
Trisha Paytas
It's like weird. But it's weird what you will put up with. Because I do. I had exes like obviously who had issues with me just eating in general. And it's like so insane what you put up with and thinking like, oh, it's like cutesy, it's this. Or you like laugh or whatever. Sometimes I'd be like side eyeing. But I was like, you have to realize if you have a partner. Oh my God.
Kali
You with the chicken nuts nuggets. Hello.
Trisha Paytas
Yes. Amongst other things. But even like just eating like a simple Panda express meal, like, I can't believe you would eat that. I'm like, but if you have a partner who says that stuff to you, just know it's like projection. Like they're, they have issues. They got some issues with their own food and body and their intake and so they're trying to project it on you just because you're just like eating like a normal person. If you're eating, you're fine. You should be eating like it's, eat
Kali
what you want, eat what you crave,
Trisha Paytas
Eat what you want, eat what you crave. We lose that like as like children know so well when they're hungry, when they're not. When they're full. Like, they just know. Know, like, some. And it goes in spurts with children, with adults, too. Sometimes you're, like, so ravenous and you just want to eat a lot because that's just your body going through it. Sometimes you don't want to eat a lot at all. Like, you just listen to your body and don't comment on people's foods. And if someone is commenting, they're projecting their insecurities. Danny, with your shortness. Danny, with your ugliness. Danny, with your lack of anything. Like, able to provide for your family. Like, all of it. Like, you can't even clock it, hunt or gather. Like, you can't do either. And so I think that insecurity he's projecting on this woman who's literally a goddess, who's starring on a show, who's birthing all these kids for you and taking care of them and carrying the show. I guess it makes for good tv. I don't know. I try. I'm kind of hooked on it. I guess. I kind of been like, you know what?
Kali
I didn't actually like it, but I'm like, well, now I got to see how it goes.
Trisha Paytas
I know I need to see it for these women. I need to see them through, but I'm. I'm here for it. Well, maybe they'll be on the next season of My Worst Ex on Netflix, season three.
Kali
Okay, I hope not, because that's terrible.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, right, right. Okay, that's.
Kali
That's a bad transition. Bad transition.
Trisha Paytas
Ask her. When he's not here, I'm like, let's transition.
Kali
Very good at that. I know. That is a quality I don't have.
Trisha Paytas
I don't have it either. Me being like, maybe they'll be on My Worst Ex. I was just thinking, like, they'll be an ex. But you're right. This is about killers, and they're not killers. That's very different.
Kali
I guess you can abuse, so.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, well, I only watched the first two episodes of the new season. Jeffrey was on the second season.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Yes, he was. Episode two.
Kali
Yes. Or episode one, maybe. I don't remember. But regardless, he's on the.
Trisha Paytas
Episode one Was Wade.
Kali
The new season.
Trisha Paytas
My Sister's a True crime Girly. Which I didn't know.
Kali
Which is so funny because you texted me super late last night. Yeah. You're like, well, I don't know what. It wasn't even that late. I think it was 8:30. I went to sleep.
Trisha Paytas
I was going to bed. When I texted you. You're like, I Don't know how late you stay up. Well, I was about to go to bed, so I'm like, I sent my sister to watch a documentary at like 9pm the day before.
Kali
Oh, I already know that story.
Trisha Paytas
Oh yeah. I was like watch the crash on Netflix because like I really want to talk about it. I don't think Oscar's watched it it yet. And then on Hulu they had one called Mean Girl Murders and she was also featured on that. So I was like, oh, watch the crash. Because that to me I was like, I'm in my documentary area for sure right now. I'm like, so like have to do a documentaries.
Kali
I know it's crazy because like you were not messing.
Trisha Paytas
I never liked. My mom is always like, oh, it's
Kali
not all the time. Yeah, she's not. Somebody feed Phil.
Trisha Paytas
It's a documentary. True crime. Yeah. You guys have been on it and you like already knew about that story so. Well, where do we go?
Kali
My worst.
Trisha Paytas
And then the crash. Okay, which who is. I was gonna say who's worse but I guess probably obviously way worse. These guys. It is crazy because. Right. Comparing. Not to compare the two but like obviously the crash, I do think it's horrific and I think she's like not held accountable at all. And like she was like the 17 year old girl and you're just like, what is wrong with you? Like you slammed your car and killed these two people. And I think intentionally in my opinion. But these men on my wear sex and I watch it because grow men though. Grown men. Jeffrey has kids.
Kali
Kids, like several kids. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
And you're just like, are you a monster? They look.
Kali
So he has a mom normal.
Trisha Paytas
Well, we doesn't look normal anymore, but like did look normal at one point. It's like Jeffrey very unassuming. I only watched in.
Kali
In he started or not starred but he was like in the.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, he was a main character. A nine day fiance.
Kali
No, I'm talking about actual acting shows.
Trisha Paytas
What show was he him? Oh my God.
Kali
I gotta look it up.
Trisha Paytas
Really?
Kali
Yes, he was like he. He had speaking lines in actual shows, like cop shows or whatever.
Trisha Paytas
What? Oh wait, before 90 day or after 90 day?
Kali
Before. Because he always wanted to be famous. Did he even watch the thing?
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, I didn't know he was acting.
Kali
Yes, it said it in there.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, and the. I did not. I did not watch this full episode. I had only had seen the Wade one and I watched clips of the Jeffrey one because Jeffrey's a hard assignment. I mean Wade is too but like I think because Jeffrey is hard to
Kali
stomach for me because I had an exactly like him.
Trisha Paytas
So you saw.
Kali
And so I was, like, cringing the entire way. He was on Fatal Attraction episodes, like, those kind of, like, shows.
Trisha Paytas
But it was scripted.
Kali
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, that's so weird.
Kali
I didn't know.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, I watched it because, well, you told me. I love true crime.
Kali
It was on Snap too. Like, you know how they do flashbacks, facts.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, I do remember that. Was he doing, like, a reenactment?
Kali
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
Twice. Right.
Kali
He was a detective or whatever.
Trisha Paytas
Ironic, because now they're going to have snapped about you because it was. It's so insane. I remember talking to him on Instagram Lives.
Kali
I remember you talking to him, too.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my God. Like, he was on 90 fiance and that was kind of, like, scary, right? Is like. So he went on 90 Day Fiance. He had just did assault, like, a physical assault on his. Was his girlfriend, not wife.
Kali
Fiance.
Trisha Paytas
Fiance. Where he Trigger warning. Like, it's obviously like domestic abuse where he, like, smashed her head. But he said. She said even before that he had charges. He had so many charges before because it's, like, one thing she was. Okay. It was six months before he left for the show, so maybe they didn't know hers, but, like, there was so many, like, charges prior and they still had him on the show, which is, like, risky because again, like, you show him girls are hitting him up, which obviously we know from my worst exes. I like that doesn't stop anyone. The Wade was in Wade Wilson.
Kali
Yeah. They are very. Usually abusers are very charismatic and they're very, like, good at schmoozing. That's how people get hooked into these relationships. And then they get stuck in these relationships. Because the hardest part about it's like leaving.
Trisha Paytas
That's the hardest part is leaving.
Kali
It's the most dangerous part in a relationship.
Trisha Paytas
Or is. Yeah. It's hard to get out of it. And but on top of that, these. Some of the. These, like, Wade, they know what he's done and they write to him.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
I mean, when he went to prison the second time, after killing the second girl, he literally. Tick tock is flooded with, like, he's so hot.
Kali
I literally don't understand that. That whole mentality of, like, this man is an abuser. He's killed women and you violently. He's hot. Like, no, he's psychopath.
Trisha Paytas
And it's like, one thing to be like, that guy's hot or whatever, but to like, write him and be like, I want to have a relationship with
Kali
Books, girl, you look so desperate. You actually look like a clown. Okay, Dan.
Trisha Paytas
Like, I don't.
Kali
And being so openly public too, like, people have, like, made tiktoks about it. Why would you make a tick tock on that? Yes, and there's something wrong with you, actually.
Trisha Paytas
Well, then Jeffrey's current wife, Varya is like, still supporting him after hearing all these stories because they show his Jeffree's ex that he physically assaulted and like, she's telling the story and grabbed graphic detail and how he was like, trying to, like, get away with it and stuff like that. And Varia is, like, still supportive of it. And I'm just like. I guess because he's in prison and she's just like, peace. I had.
Kali
She doesn't have to deal with, you know, she doesn't have to deal with the repercussions of him, I guess. But because he has.
Trisha Paytas
Is he have life sentences. What is his.
Kali
No, he doesn't because he didn't kill anybody.
Trisha Paytas
But I thought that was like the get. Because he. I thought he did have life sentences for not even though he didn't. Or am I just, like, getting that wrong? Like, I thought he had like, consecutive one ones, right? He didn't.
Kali
20, 37, 18 years. Oh, more than still. Pretty good for not murdering.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Yeah, that's pretty good that he's in there. 18 years. Wow, that's so wild. So will he be with Vari when he comes out? I guess. I guess she'll be like, maybe she's
Kali
still around if he's still around. No one's promised tomorrow, but yeah, it was crazy. I had an ex that hid his son from me and I didn't find out till I hit a son. Yes. That hit.
Trisha Paytas
Which is this, your first one or second one?
Kali
First.
Trisha Paytas
Remember? Oh, no, I don't.
Kali
So what?
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, I remember him, but I didn't know because he had.
Kali
So he had two and I only knew that he had one.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah, that's right.
Kali
Oh, and like two years in a relationship, he was like, I found out that he had a second one. And I'm just like, you start like, thinking like, oh, my God, I don't
Trisha Paytas
even know this person. No, that's terrifying. That's terrifying. If mo. Like, I. By the way, I had a kid, I'd be like, oh, my God.
Kali
I would be like, I. I'm sleeping with a stranger.
Trisha Paytas
That's what part is so scary. So how old was the kid?
Kali
Seven years younger or. No, he was like four years younger than me.
Trisha Paytas
The kid that you didn't know about?
Kali
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. You were 18 at the time.
Kali
No, I was actually 20.
Trisha Paytas
So he was 16. How was old was the other kid that you knew about?
Kali
13. But, like, when they mentioned that he had, like, these two teenage boys over and like, the fiance was there, they're like, oh, these are my friend's kids, or whatever. And then come to find out they're his kids, I was like, girl, yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Like, how are you lying about that to someone that you're like.
Kali
Apparently multiple men do it. Because I've experienced it too.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, you're so right. That is so scary. That is so scary because then I
Kali
feel like, oh, what, are you gonna go date? I'm like, I'm really good, actually. I'm really good.
Trisha Paytas
I think that's the consensus for a lot of women online. And I feel the same way. If anything happened to us, I don't really. I don't think I would. I, like, it's so scary because, like. What do you mean? Like, well, even people who've been married like, 20 years. Oh, my God, we go on hikes, like, because you just like, sometimes they're like, oh, they were married 15 years. Then he just pulled her scuba diving.
Kali
She like, God, there's one in Hawaii when they went on vacation and the husband, like, gave her an injection and tried to push her off the mountain.
Trisha Paytas
I just saw one too, in, like, Indonesia. He, like, threw off a train and I was like, the husband. I'm like. Because, like, she took her. Took her purse off to help her and then just like, threw over. And I was just like, what? And it's, you know, not all men, but always men. Because if you look at, like, the females who have done some of this stuff, like, there's usually, like, there's a reason.
Kali
There's the one from Monster.
Trisha Paytas
You're Charlize. Yeah. Like, there's always, like, some provoking. Yeah.
Kali
And usually they're protecting their children.
Trisha Paytas
That part. I've seen so many women on, like, death row and it's like they literally, like, shot someone that, like, killed their daughter or something like that. Self defense. Yeah. Or also just like, you should be able to, like, if you. If you did something to my daughter, I should be able to shoot you if you did something. Like. That's so insane. Especially when you're underage. So. Yeah. Or self defense or any of that stuff. Like, it is wild. Yeah. Mom should just be able to do that, period. But yeah, these men do it truly, just out of nowhere, like random people and you're just like, I don't, I don't, I don't get like that's why I don't like watch. I don't, I can't watch true crime too much because it does like freak me out. Even the case I don't know know her name from the crash, but she's like the 17 year old girl.
Kali
Mackenzie. Mackenzie Schrella Mackenzie.
Trisha Paytas
Yes. Even watching that it's like obviously not as like eerie, but it's also very much like those kids were very young. I mean he was like she was 17 I think at the time. But he like Dominic was like 20. His friend was like 20. And it's just like the dangers of really just like your child. Like who is the. Sorry, I don't want to get his name wrong. It's Dominic. And who is the friend? Davey on Davion who was like a friend that like just was it like just knew them and just was like why he was in this car. But it's like you also have to worry about your kids being friends with people who are like toxic with each other because you could end up in that backseat of that happening and stuff. And it's so, it's just so scary. And these are children, right? She's in high school and it's just like you just don't expect it. But maybe he did, maybe that's why he brought him. And it was just like I don't really like trust her or whatever and it's just, I don't know. And then the fact that there's parents, parents like hers that were just no accountability.
Kali
They are so tone deaf still until this day, to this day.
Trisha Paytas
And that's the thing. It's like take some accountability. Yes, she was like underage but still like take some accountability of where like you went wrong. Like you can just tell she was just like coddled like this her whole life and it's just there's zero. Oh, she's not a murderer. And like let her go. Those were her family, those were her people. It's like, it's like that black box
Kali
does not lie though. She never stepped on the brain break, right?
Trisha Paytas
It wasn't.
Kali
Tell me that's not intentional.
Trisha Paytas
Some people said that they were trying to shift to neutral and then back to drive and they were like that they may have been trying to like fight.
Kali
We'll never know really the truth and
Trisha Paytas
but that's I think at this point very like least now is like if you are so. If you are remorseful and you're so sorry. Like tell the truth to the family so at least they have the closure. Because it's just like not. And she got two very different edits on the Hulu versus the Netflix one. I think with the Netflix one, I think the family thought. Because I think she's up for. What is that called?
Kali
She's not up for parole yet.
Trisha Paytas
She's not. Or is there like a retrial happening? There's something.
Kali
She's trying to appeal it. The first one got denied. They're trying again.
Trisha Paytas
So I think they thought this might make them look good. It actually made them look.
Kali
The appeal is based off of making one of the victims look bad. And I'm like, this is not what
Trisha Paytas
you think it is. Yeah, no, that's the thing. It's like, why are you, you victim blaming at all? Like your daughter was.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Recklessly driving regardless of why the intentions were Which.
Kali
Imagine going 100 on the freeway. Imagine doing that on like cross streets, like little streets.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. There was somebody doing like a hundred. Like they already went to trial in this area too and same thing. And they were trying to like plead like that there. What? They weren't even reckless driving. I'm like, what do you mean 100 miles? Like that's so.
Kali
It's so fast. First of all, a car going 100 miles an hour. A lot of cars will shake because. Because they just can't like.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
Handle going that fast. But also what's really triggering too is that like she was like they thought that she was under the influence, absolutely sober. Yes. She had THC in her system. But like that stays in your system for a while, but.
Trisha Paytas
Oh right. They're so unfazed by her like smoking and stuff like that.
Kali
I'm just like, I'm living with your boyfriend when you're 17.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
That tells me everything about the parents.
Trisha Paytas
100 is the parents fault. Fault. I mean she is a product of her parents and we can see why she is the way she is and has all. Has like zero accountability and also like zero remorse and just like cold blooded and all this. It's like that's why like obviously the parents were like neglectful in some way. Like you're just like letting her live with a boyfriend. Oh, you're not, you're not like shook by her like smoking like the fattest joint. Like it's just so. It's so crazy. And the fact that. Yeah. Watching them like in the court also still trying to like defend it all and stuff like that because it's like One thing to, like, love your daughter, but you're.
Kali
Oh, Davion is a new friend. Friend.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
Sit down.
Trisha Paytas
I know. I like, stop talking.
Kali
He, like, because one, you're not making it good for your daughter and two, you sound like a idiot.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. And there's like, their families are there and you can't like, give them some sort of.
Kali
Absolutely tone deaf.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Your daughter is still alive, even though she's the one to cause it. And it's always. It's always the case it's the one that caused it. But I do think my opinion. I feel like it was intentional. I feel like it was like an intentional murder. And that's because who goes that fast under that with those pretenses? Yeah. So I just. The documentaries are crazy, but I guess also it's. It's good that it's out there again. Awareness for everyone. For parents too. Like, to not let your kids, like, drive to tell them, like, don't drive with other teenagers. No, that's the law.
Kali
That is a law, too, that I wanted to bring up too.
Trisha Paytas
Once you're.
Kali
If you're under 18, you have. If you're driving with another underage person, you have to have someone, I think, like, of the age of 25 or you can't drive.
Trisha Paytas
That should be. I didn't know. Is that a lie?
Kali
It is a lie law. It is.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
I guess that's so another neglectful parent issue.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. And it really does come down. Honestly. They should be tried, too. It's like, okay, if they can't try them for. Yeah.
Kali
Well, she was right as an adult, but.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, she was.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Because, I mean, 17 and also.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
And it's just good awareness, I think, for. Also people in toxic relationships don't get in the car with, you know, and not. And that's not their fault, obviously, but it's just.
Kali
Well, the saddest part is dating. Davion was supposed to go home with someone else to help him do something, and he's like, I just want to go to home and, like, get some sleep before I go help you. Oh, that just. It's so hard.
Trisha Paytas
It's so awful. And also the other people on the road, too. It's like one thing with them, but there's like, other people on the road and it just like, is. Yeah. And there's no. You know what? There is, like, no solution. That's what, like, sucks is. Like, these people will continue to do it. They'll continue to go to prison. There's people who were in the same prison or her at the time and saying how awful she was and how she, like, just thought she, like, got away with stuff and everything. Like that signal, girl, you're in prison.
Kali
So if you are younger and watching this, you do not have to go fast. Whatever you're going to can wait. It doesn't matter if you're late for work, for school, whatever.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Because a lot of times people do. You're right. They try to go home and, like, rush home.
Kali
And it always.
Trisha Paytas
I see that, too. I see that a lot.
Kali
Everybody.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, yeah. Nothing is worth risking your life for. For other people's life. That's what I'm saying. She had just. I think she had malice because she absolutely. She's not remorseful. If you're really sorry, like, you. You give closure, you give admission, you give something. But she's not. And she's still trying to, like, get away with it. And the parents, too.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
And, yeah, it's.
Kali
It's.
Trisha Paytas
It's awful.
Kali
I heard Korea loves you after your new song.
Trisha Paytas
No, seriously.
Kali
They've been, like, tweeting or, like, commenting about you.
Trisha Paytas
Yes.
Kali
Next show for you.
Trisha Paytas
Go to Korea. Go to South Korea. I would love. That's, like, the goal of all goals. I would absolutely love it. I know. It's the. The response has been really nice and we talked about a little yesterday, so I won't like it too much, but, like, the response is, like, super nice because, like, I'm just so not used to people. I love making music. I will make music and music videos forever because I just, like, love it so much, even if, like, no one cares about it. But, like, this was so much fun, and I, like, loved learning the language and people were, like, really supportive of it and. Do you like the song?
Kali
I love the song. You sound so good. Bilingual queen, people.
Malibu
Breaking news.
Trisha Paytas
It's breaking news.
Malibu
US K pop charts. It's number 45.
Trisha Paytas
How did you find out? Just on Twitter. Stop.
Malibu
On itunes.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my God. 45 is crazy.
Malibu
Okay. Just to understand.
Kali
I have.
Malibu
Sorry, my hair is beating. So number 47 is demon hunter Strategy. Like, one of their songs.
Kali
What?
Malibu
Number one is golden. So you're like.
Kali
Oh, my God.
Trisha Paytas
In between the hundreds. Oh, my gosh. Congratulations. I appreciate it.
Malibu
So by the time you watch this video, we might be number one.
Kali
Imagine.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my God, I would cry. I literally was telling Moses, like, I'm being. I was being so serious about crap. I'm like, are we ready to go. Go to South Korea? Like, are we ready to go over there and like perform, like, because I, I love it so much. And I have other Korean songs in my roster. They're not like fully done yet, but I have other ones that I've like, started working on like before all this came out because I was gonna do an ep, but I was like, let me just see how people are liking water.
Kali
Yeah, big toe in there first.
Trisha Paytas
And I'm glad people appreciate it because I do it always out of like, respect. Like, I love the culture so much. I love the language so much. Much like I. I appreciate K pop in all its entirety. As I've said before, it's like my kids, like, love K pop so much. So I'm just glad people liked it because I, you know, again, I can always never know. But it is a good song too. And shout out to Alex Wright for writing it. It's like really a really good song. But yeah. And Amy, who was helping me with my pronunciation through it all, she would send me like voice memos if I needed help with something and she was like, so proud. She was like, sending me it too. You did so good. Like, and I think, I don't know if I mentioned or not maybe I'd mentioned. But yeah, I think I mentioned it last. Well, I'll just like touch on it again. But like, yeah, a lot of people were saying maybe do like some English in there. But a lot of people appreciated that I did all Korean. And that was just important to me. I didn't realize how it was important, that important to like the K pop world, that there was more Korean in here. It's all Korean. There's no English words in it. But like, for me it was important because I just, I really wanted the challenge. But I also just think it's a really beautiful language that I was like, okay, if I'm going to do a K pop song, I want do to. To be all in Korean. And I'm glad that people also appreciated that as well because I just, I, I love the language. I always have. I love languages at all. Like, yeah, always you do. And, and specifically Korean is like such a beautiful language. So I'm trying to learn more as I go. But yeah, I really, I appreciate it.
Kali
Well, congratulations.
Trisha Paytas
Thank you.
Malibu
Yeah. Cuz I saw all the craves. They were like, you know, stream the song now. Let's get it up. Because it was like 577 this morning just an hour ago.
Kali
Wow.
Trisha Paytas
Oh my God. That's so cool. That is really, really cool. I'm really.
Malibu
And I've never had this happen to me Like, Instagram, I'm just scrolling. And it's like. It's all different people reacting, like, different accounts. There's a lot of, you know, obviously fans of K pop accounts, and all of them are just your song and the video and everything.
Trisha Paytas
What's so crazy is yesterday Oscar's like, you should create do the dance. Like a dance trend. People start, like, recreating your dance. I was like, I don't know. Like, I don't want to just do it myself. He's like. And then afterwards, like, maybe she, like, pay people to do it. I was like, I don't know. It's not your only thing. Literally, this morning, we woke up to people just doing the dance on their own. Like, did not pay. Do not, like, reach out. And they have, like, 20,000 likes on it. Like, there's. You have to show her the one. There's three people who are doing it phenomenally. And doing the choreo. Exactly. It's. I don't know. It's so wild. Oh, my God. Crazy.
Kali
They're eating.
Trisha Paytas
Wow.
Kali
Oh, my God.
Malibu
Sometimes I'll scroll and, you know, it comes up. Somebody watching the video, putting a post about it, and Elvis will hear. Hear it. And she runs to me. She's like, demands to watch it.
Trisha Paytas
She loves it.
Malibu
And she wants me to put on the tv. And she stands there and she's watching. She's learning. Yeah, she's learning the dance and the words. It's so.
Trisha Paytas
She's so focused on it and. Yeah. Learning the words of it, which is, like, so cool because they do with, like, demon. Demon. They know all of it. Yeah. It's. It's wild. And I will get better. Oh, my God. Just like, even the encouragement where it's like, pronunciation is not bad. Where people. It's actually pretty good. Like, understood, like, 80 of it. It makes me just, like, want to do it more. So I've been like, really? I was telling Alex, I was telling Amy. I was like, I really want to, like, get with someone. I wanted to, like, really learn it. Because now I already loved it as is. But now with the encouragement, I was like, I really. From native Korean speakers, which makes me feel really happy. And I want to do it even more. And I want to just be fluent in it. I want to be fluent in Korean. That's my new goal. So thanks. I appreciate that. I love that.
Malibu
Getting on the music bank.
Trisha Paytas
Music bank. I'm gonna come there. I'm gonna be there. I would love. I will fly over tomorrow.
Kali
Sometimes I want to play Your music videos on stream. And I'm like, oh, I might be copyrighted.
Trisha Paytas
I don't think so.
Kali
I think mine are.
Malibu
You leave your.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, I usually leave mine open. Like I think I leave it white listed. I think all of them do. This may be different because I do have different producers on this, so maybe they do. But all my songs you can use. But maybe this one is different. I don't know. We'll see. I guess we'll find out. Did you see the Bethany Frankel shoe scandal?
Kali
Shoe scandal.
Trisha Paytas
See, she wore a pair of shoes from another housewives daughter. I think her name's Dina from Real Housewives of maybe New Jersey. I don't know. Dina's daughter has a shoe line called New N O U like new shoes, no shoes. And she gifted a pair to Bethenny Frankel. Bethenny wore them. She does outfit of the days. She tagged a dupe of the shoe. And so then the daughter who made the shoes called out Bethany. And then Bethany's like, I don't usually respond to this, but I'm gonna call out. Cause it's bad business practice. She's basically like, why would you post a link to the. You got them for free. I gifted them to you. Why would you post a dupe where you're an affiliate? Then Bethany Frank called her out and sent us bad business practice because she's like, everything I wear sells out. Gap jeans, all this stuff like that. So she thought her calling her out was bad business practice and that it wouldn't do well for her small business. However, the gag is the shoes are now. And I guess they. I guess they were sold out. Bethany I think said they were sold out and people want to get the shoes now. So she found the dupe. Because I also think when I went to go order the shoes because I did like the shoes, I thought they were cute. When I went to order them, it did say like six to eight weeks. So I think it was like a pre order. So like I kind of understood what Bethany was saying where it's like people want to know what the shoe is now because we were asking what the shoe is.
Kali
Wait though.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, and she could have like tagged them and people could just find out their back order or whatever.
Kali
Find dupes on their own.
Trisha Paytas
Her own. Yeah, I think, I think I'm with you on that one. I think her do like linking a dupe was a little tacky. Your gifted shoes, she.
Malibu
She used. She wore the shoes a few times. The first time she didn't take anyone anything Right. And then later on she was asked and then she started taking tagging, but not the person that sent her the shoes. And then when they called her out, she was like, she said, well, I get PR all the time.
Trisha Paytas
No obligation to post.
Malibu
No obligation. I do what I want with it. You send it from me for free. So I do what I want. So it's like, you know, it's, it's. It's nice to acknowledge who sent you the thing.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Especially if people are asking. She did say she had made the content saying what the shoes were, but it was banked meaning like it hadn't been posted yet. And I think she ended up posting that video from that same day. So you see she's in the same outfit saying glam, same like New York stoop. And she does shout it out. So she did have it banged. She does say these shoes. She takes out the shoes. She looks at it from new or something. So she did say it, but it just hadn't been posted yet. So she's like, I already did. I did shout it out but like I hadn't posted it yet. So I think the girl's issue was like she tagged the dupe. I think if she just like never said anything or like posted it later or something like that. I get being upset because I do feel like they're also mutuals because if her mom was a housewife too, they probably know each other. So she probably was like, this is annoying. And she's a small business, a female run business. She's like, you know, it would have helped my business.
Kali
So much happened to female females supporting females, that part, especially in the business industry.
Trisha Paytas
But it did work because everyone is now going to these new. No, no new o new shoes. Nou shoes. Did you look up the shoes? They're kind of cute.
Kali
I didn't pop up.
Trisha Paytas
You did you typed about any Frankel shoes? It didn't come up. This was everywhere. Where'd you type it in?
Kali
I. They don't show the shoe. They just show. They just tell me about the. Is it like a peep toe?
Trisha Paytas
It's a peep toe. It's a black piece.
Kali
I see it.
Malibu
Her website. Does it curate things or is it the shoe itself is hers?
Trisha Paytas
It's the shoe itself, I think.
Kali
Oh, I see.
Trisha Paytas
I think so. I think it's the shoe itself. I think she's a shoe designer. It's a good shoe. It's like 350 bucks or something. It was so must be good quality. I don't know how it Feels for wide feet. But I should look. People ask me why you wear Crocs all the time. Like cuz they're made for wide feet. That's why I wear them. Of course I would love a shoe for a wide foot, but I suppose it's a niche. Maybe not. Probably a lot of people.
Kali
You know what, you buy dance shoes, you can wear them all the time.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, that's all I wear on stage. Are those capezos.
Kali
Well I, I wear them if I go anywhere. Go out.
Trisha Paytas
A capizio?
Kali
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
A character shoe.
Kali
No. Well no, no, no, no. Not like the, like the theater shoes. Oh, they made like dancing shoes. Like Dancing with the Star shoes.
Trisha Paytas
Cuz they're meant to be flexible.
Kali
Wear them all the time.
Trisha Paytas
That is a good life hack. Life hack. Yes.
Kali
You can't wear heels. Those itty bitty stilettos. Get some dance heels. They're super flexible.
Trisha Paytas
That is a good hack. I found a pair of heels. What did I wear that were comfortable? I found a pair of Jimmy Choo chunky heels that were pretty comfortable too. I wore them to euphoria. I wore them everywhere.
Kali
Yeah. The good thing about those is like they're flexible. A lot of shoes are. They've got that stiff sole.
Trisha Paytas
So are you team Bethany or team new designer?
Kali
I mean they didn't have a contract. I get it. From that standpoint, however, like if her daughter, if Bethany's daughter went into business, she and did that with a housewife, you know, she would be down their throat.
Trisha Paytas
That's true, that's true.
Kali
Like so.
Trisha Paytas
And she is a businesswoman. Didn't she had a skinny.
Kali
If the shoe was on the other foot, no pun intended. Literally, how would she be.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
You know.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Kali
And she could argue, well, I know business. I would never let my daughter do this. But like regardless. Whatever.
Trisha Paytas
But you also know business and you know that would help.
Kali
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
So much.
Malibu
It's a tough one because I would imagine Bethany gets lots of pr.
Kali
Yeah.
Malibu
So you know, it's like you have. She probably has a garage full of boxes, lots of pr. And when you send a pr, you feel so personal. You're like, I hope she gets it, I hope she uses it, I hope she tags me. But it's like lottery.
Kali
Yeah, yeah.
Malibu
The chances are a small percent and you'd be thankful if one of the 10 influencers you send it to actually does it. So it's a tough one. Right. You have a lot, like a lot of emotion invested in it. The person sending it.
Kali
Yeah.
Malibu
And the person receiving it has Zero emotion into it. It's one of a hundred boxes they received to them. It's like, you know, you're like, I'm even cheap showing it kind of thing. So it's like, It's a tough one.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. But she did wear it and she did, like, love it. So it's like, damn, I would have loved a little tag because it. Tag can go well.
Malibu
But it seems like she was about to. So in theory, if she was holding back a little bit, her emotion, waiting a minute, the tag would have happened. Things would have happened. So it's like. But I understand also the emotion. You're like, so emotional about it. It's a tough one.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, I guess also when you link something else, when you're like the traffic
Malibu
elsewhere, that case, I would just send a nice DM saying like, hey, thank you so much for using my shoe, by the way. You tagged the wrong one.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, a little bit. Oh, that's not my link, actually, girl,
Malibu
I know it was sold out, but now it's back in stock. If you can update the link, something like. I would just try to make her aware of that, but definitely not blaster for it.
Trisha Paytas
So bad.
Kali
We were supposed to do the Disneyland
Trisha Paytas
recap at the top of it because you're supposed to do Elvis's birthday. Alice's birthday was when I was performing my UK show on the 24th, and originally we were all gonna go over there together, so I thought, I'm gonna cute little tea party theme for her. And then it just didn't work out because we just couldn't find anyone to help us over there. My dad was. Couldn't go for that period of time.
Kali
It was just.
Trisha Paytas
It was kind of complicated. But anyways, so we ended up, like, staying back and I. So we celebrated Elvis's birthday early at Disney, which we love. A Disneyland experience. We love it so much. I guess my only hot topic from Disneyland, which is not really a hot topic, is ever been to that bird Tiki Sam's? It's a ticky tiki, Tiki, Tiki tiki Room.
Malibu
I love Tiki Room. What?
Kali
I love the Tiki Room. I feel like I'm transported in Maui.
Trisha Paytas
The Tiki Room with robot animatronic birds.
Kali
Hey, you like pirates? Don't even come for me while you're
Trisha Paytas
just sitting there watching these birds. Malbor is, like, so dark.
Kali
Oh, my God.
Trisha Paytas
The birds are literally doing what you just did. And they're like. But they're above you and you can't really see what's going on and it's just kind of like loud. And then it's just like Map was like, is it done? And I'm like, no, but you're in there for like 15 minutes and you can't get out because the doors are all like closed around you. And you're just like, what is happening right here? And all I want is some dull whip. And we have to sit through these birds just yapping. And then it doesn't stop yappy. It's just tweet, like birdie tweets, tweet, tweet, tweet. And I'm just like, what? And then it starts raining and for no reason.
Kali
Oh my gosh, you're in the rainforest. It's giving Rainforest Cafe, but at Disney without the food. Okay.
Trisha Paytas
And I still live at the end, I guess. Do you like it?
Kali
I love the Tiki Room. Well, I love birds in general, so.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, that doesn't make sense. Actually we forgot to talk about that. You saving a bird? Moses found a baby bird and was holding it at the stone house the
Malibu
other day and we were at lunch and there's birds. And both Malibu and Elvis are obsessed with. They just want to touch the bird, you know. So they chase birds all around everywhere we go, the lake, the. And then suddenly I see like below Aquaman there's like a little baby bird. It was a baby. And I was like, oh, wait a minute, let me. So I picked up the baby and then I got Malibu and Elvis to come and they could finally touch a bird. They could finally. And they were so like.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, it was, it was like so cute because the baby bird couldn't fly.
Kali
And was it a fledgling?
Malibu
I don't know what that means.
Kali
A fledgling is like when they're learning how to fly. So sometimes you'll find it was really young.
Malibu
It was really little. It had some feathers and some still like little white feathers sticking out. So it was really tiny.
Trisha Paytas
And Malibu, even cuz she gets a little nervous. I mean Elvis was about to pick up that bird right out of your hand.
Malibu
She's like, let me get that bird started holding it. But I didn't want her to squeeze it too hard so I held it and I let them touch it.
Trisha Paytas
And then, and then Malibu did it on the back. It was really cute. So you save the baby bird. But birds are not my thing.
Kali
So that's why you thought the Tiki Room would be fun for them.
Trisha Paytas
We didn't know.
Malibu
So I think the Tiki Room seems like more like a place to stop, reset Cool down.
Kali
AC action.
Malibu
Yeah, you can sit down in the shade for a minute.
Trisha Paytas
It was our first stop, though, and I think we were just too. I was too anxious to get to, like, Dumbo and stuff and like, Mickey's
Kali
on pirates because it's dark and scary.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. I want to, though. That's my fave. But we can barely gonna say yeah.
Malibu
If I think we're building up towards.
Kali
Didn't like the dressing, the dress up. No, it was too dark.
Trisha Paytas
No.
Malibu
But they did love this time for the first time, the mermaid ride.
Trisha Paytas
They did love the mermaid and small.
Kali
Oh, that's a dark one too. Mermaid is dark. It's dark.
Trisha Paytas
It's all dark when you're in there. But then she gets a little nervous at first, and after she's like, I want to go again.
Kali
It is really pretty in there.
Trisha Paytas
It was fun. We love Disney. And then real quick, sorry, guys. We're like, I was on a little time frame today. May as mental health awareness month. And I love Martin Short has been doing a bunch of interviews. Have you seen this about.
Kali
Just saw his documentary on Netflix too.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, there's a documentary about Martin Short.
Kali
Yes, it was so. And it's so sad because he's such a great human. Like, he just oozes joy and, like, it really shows in the. Because they have, like, old footage of, like, him hanging out with friends like Eugene Levy and o' Hara. And, like, it's just like, genuine friendships. And it's just like all the kids know each other.
Trisha Paytas
I did see that. Like, those clips of that have them and genuine. It's like back in the day when people just be friends with people just to be friends. It's not like YouTubers who are just collabing, what can we get the clout? All this stuff. And then like, oh, let's start drama for beef. Like, I just love back in the day where people would just be friends with each other because Steve Martin was in it too.
Kali
And, like, he's had a hard life with his parents passing pretty, like, young
Trisha Paytas
in his life and his wife and now his daughter. And I liked what he said about his daughter. She has. She had borderline took her own. She took her own life. And he said she struggled for a long time. And he said it is like a disease, like cancer. Like, he equated. He lost his wife to cancer and he lost his daughter to, you know, mental health struggles. And he said it is a disease. And I thought that was, like, so important. That's why I like Hayden talking about stuff like it is so important to recognize it, because people show on TikTok, too. Even just people that I don't know will show, like. Like, this was him two days before he took us. And they're, like, laughing and smiling and stuff like that. So it's just. It's important to, like, check up on yourself, of course, but check up on the people around you, because it is an illness. It is a sickness. It is a disease just like cancer. Like, you can fight it so hard. And he said she did. He said his daughter did fight it so hard. And sometimes you just lose the battle. Just like cancer. You don't want to. And just with it being Mental Health awareness month is to just. Just check on yourself, check on others. And I always say this. The thing that helped me the most is, like, asking for help. And sometimes I had family too, you know, Sometimes you have family around, and you're like, family's a God. I wish they would talk to me about it. But sometimes you just don't feel comfortable. Sometimes just getting outside help is also the answer. It's great if you can talk to friends or have support or something like that, but if you don't feel comfortable with it, like, sometimes just talking to others, because it can help so much. And at the end of the day, like, we're interested in said, it is. It is a disease, and. And it's just something you have to fight every day. I fight it every day. I fight it every day while I have good days and bad days. Like, it is something that you just have to really actively work on and have to check in on yourself and know your triggers, know your breaks, and give yourself that grace. And I wanted to, like, go into more about it, but.
Kali
And I know it's isolating. It may feel isolating, but just know everybody has some sort of mental, you know, struggles.
Trisha Paytas
Everyone does.
Kali
So you're never alone. And just. Even though it may feel that way.
Trisha Paytas
And for those of you who are still here that have also had the struggle of wanting to live, just. Just hang on, hang on. Because it's, you know, you leave behind so many people who, like, love you, and. And I don't know, I just. I feel like if you can just hang on, it's the answer. Life is short, as the Martin Short documentary says. Like, life is short as it is, but it's also like a gift. And it's just. I know it's hard. I know it's hard, but, like, man, if you can just, like, survive one more day, like, it'll get Better. There's highs and lows and sometimes going through those, like dark times make you appreciate when, like the light times come. And as someone who obviously has been there as well, like the light, the happiness I feel now is something that I never thought I could feel in my life. For my first 30 years. I really thought I was just doomed to always feel like alone in this world, even if I had family around me, even if I had that. And the happiness and the joy that I feel now is like, thank God I made it through. I would have missed out on so many core memories. And I just want everyone to, like, hang in there and hang on. And it's, it's really tough. And you know, the people you, you leave behind, it's, it's, it's, it can be really painful. And there's always solutions and it's just hard. But anyways, I say all the people who have lost someone, I've lost someone dear to me too. For to taking their own lives. There is American foundation for Suicide Prevention that can provide support if you've lost someone or if you're someone going through it. There's hotlines out there and there's people who will help and support groups for it all. But never stop sharing your stories and I'll continue to share mine. And I appreciate Martin Short sharing his. It's very tragic. His life or his losses. But keep going. Keep hanging on there. And I want to talk more too, because I know you've gone through stuff too. But we'll save it for the next next one. Hold on for one more day. They had it right. Wilson Phillips. Okay.
Kali
They really did.
Trisha Paytas
Orchard Charlotte. Hold on. If you feel like letting go.
Kali
All right. That's it.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. We love you guys. And I sorry I had to, like, cut this off short abruptly. Thank you, Cali, for being here.
Kali
Check her out, Cal.
Trisha Paytas
Gordy Calcator 143. Check out Moses. He's changing all the things right now. Moses cooking videos. We love you guys. Thank you you so much for the support in England. I think Australia might be happening soon, so I'm very excited. Well, in the near future and maybe South Korea. Maybe I'll just pop over there in between.
Kali
Love that.
Trisha Paytas
Love you guys. Thanks for watching. And we'll be back with Hot Topics with Oscar for the next one. And we'll recap England for real after I have come back with my. My old fish and chips. We will. And have a spot tea. I'll bring some tea back for you.
Kali
I always do.
Trisha Paytas
Okay.
