Trisha Paytas
Thank you guys for all the encouragement and it means a lot. I'm gonna get my eye into your head, but I just like. But it was just like, oh, my God. Oh, my God. It's so weird that you need my period or something. I know.
Oscar
You're just like Ari and Cynthia on the press tour.
Jimmy
I'd like to thank my parents, the academy, I'm even in the movie.
Trisha Paytas
But I. Her name is Trish. She's got the mission all across Filthy rich, pretty and pink Hot topic queen and says what everybody thinks. She's just Trish.
Oscar
Yay.
Trisha Paytas

Once again, we just placed the same amount that we had last time because we placed them before we sold out. We didn't know, so I don't know. This will probably be the final restock on the shirts before Christmas, I'm pretty sure anyways. But you go to just trish.com they have the pink and the black versions available. They're literally my favorite shirt. I love to wear them. They're super soft. They're super wonderful and you guys love them too. So if you guys want to get some of these original styles, they're available now before our new styles come in. We love you guys. Also, we have our patreon. Patreon.com just trish. Me and Oscar did a whole little filming session on Friday. We really bond during those sessions. I feel we really Do. Yeah, it's like I feel afterwards, like, wow, I really feel like I got to know you. It was fun. I don't know why. Friday was good Vibes. I don't know why.
Oscar
It was really good. Vibes was right before Wicked. I feel like that played into it. But also, yeah, like, I think we were. We filmed two videos. I think we thought they'd be like an hour, but they both ended up almost being two hours.
Trisha Paytas
Two hours. There's just so much to say. Even one was just like trying Christmas hacks and it was like for everyone who wants a full in depth Oscar interview, it's a good two hour Oscar interview. It was good. And it is like, it is crazy because I always think about that. I'm like, well, I know so much about you. But then when we do those, I'm like, wait, I don't know all this about you.
Oscar
Like, I forget things about me and I'm like, oh wait, yeah, that's my lore. Yeah, I forgot my own lore.
Trisha Paytas
I can't stop thinking about those Porto meatball things, the potato balls. I want them. What are they called?
Oscar
Papada.
Trisha Paytas
Papaya. I want them so bad. I think in the next one we should do like a little like Cuban food muffin from Porto's and anything else. It just sounded so good. It's all I could think about as a car. I really want to get them. There's just so far from us. But we also posted reacting to Tana Khan, which Tan approved. I was kind of trying to hide it. I didn't post it on Twitter because I was like, well, maybe she won't see my stories. But then she replied to my story, hahaha. I was like, oh thank God. And I was like, girl, like low key. However, we watched Shane's documentary about it, which I had never seen before. So if you guys want to see, check it out. Spoiler alert. At the end, Tanner really comes in with receipts of her asking about safety issues before the event happens. So I know it's like a bad rap. I know something she can laugh at now. But like, like overall it's like a very serious thing. And I was like, wait. But at the end of the day, when she was 19 at the time, asking these questions like, okay, is there going to be enough security? Do we have this? And there's like, there's so many receipts shown. Shane had nothing to it. He did not help the case at all. But it's still fun to watch. So go watch there. And then this week will Pie react to Getty Images, which we have a lot to talk about. Getty Images on this episode. But we recorded it with Jimmy actually reacting to my Getty Images. So if you want to see who, what one and where. Because some of those Getty images on there are actually wild. I didn't even know some of those. Some of them were like paparazzi shots from back in the day. I was like, this is very weird. I did not know they existed. So go check that out. It'll be up this week. And yeah, there's so much. Also, shout out to baked SoCal cookies.
Oscar
Wow.
Trisha Paytas
There's like three boxes over there. We'll try them. I got plates. Baked SoCal on TikTok. She's just a girl who cooks, who bakes them all by herself in her kitchen in Santa Monica. She only can do like a certain amount of orders each week because she's like literally by herself. And I think she's like sold out every week. So I don't. She doesn't even need the promotion. But I saw her deliver cookie to ask Warren. So then I sent her a dm. I never took my tick tock dm. So I sent her a DM and I saw she had like DM a bunch before asking to make me cookies. And I was like, oh my God, cookies are my favorite thing in the world. So I did actually already open a box over there and it's literally the best cookie I've ever eaten in my life. So we'll try them. There's chocolate chip and she has like a white chocolate biscoff, s'mores and apple strudel or something like that. They're so good. She's literally a 22 year old breaker. She came today to drop it off and she's like, oh, and we're gonna wait for you. Cause then she's like, oh, Oscar will be here soon. And then you were in the traffic.
Oscar
So I was like, oh, I think I saw her leaving then because someone waved.
Trisha Paytas
Really?
Oscar
Yeah, because she was. Someone was driving down and she was like waving. I was like, oh, no.
Trisha Paytas
Did you just miss each other?
Oscar
I think so.
Trisha Paytas
I thought it was gonna be like a minute because I was like, well, we can wait. And then. And then Mo's like, oh, he just texted. There's like an accident. I was like, oh, it's gonna be like a minute. So we can just like. Because she wanted to like come like during like a taping and like, you know what I mean? And I would have been cute. We faked it. I don't know how well it looked, but we faked it enough. But she did want to meet you. She said she loves the podcast and that's what she listens to when she bakes. Yeah. So thank you to bake. So cats, they go get her cookies, but I don't know, I think they. So I don't think you can get that. Try to get the cookies. But me just trying to feel skinny again. You know, some people come on here, they say, crisscross. Who was it? Oh, we had Jake. He's coming up. And he said. He's like, can I say criss cross? And I was like, yeah. And he did it so easily. And I'm like, oh, I'm gonna do that too. And I was like, it's always a struggle. Maybe because of. Maybe it looks like you do it.
Oscar
Yeah, Okay.
Trisha Paytas
I never can do it effortlessly, but everyone who sits in these chairs looks great. So how are you? There's so much to talk about.
Oscar
Oh, my God. There is so much. Like, where do we even start?
Trisha Paytas
I don't know. I feel like we should go start from the begin. Friday. Oh, I don't know. There's so much.
Oscar
It really is not that much on my end, but.
Trisha Paytas
No, there's no Hot Topics.
Oscar
Remember I told you, you have to spin it. You have to spin it. There are definitely a lot of hot topics to discuss, right?
Trisha Paytas
A lot of hot topics. Maybe just wait till the end for those. The first two hours are just catching up. Well, there was a hot topic. We had windstorms here. Did you have windstorms last Wednesday?
Oscar
Yeah. Not as bad, though. You guys get them?
Jimmy
Yeah, we get them on this side. It's the Santa Ana wind.
Trisha Paytas
Well, I only say this because I had a big music video shoot. The best day of my life. This is the second time the wind has ruined my music video. Literally, like our. After our first scene, it was literally like, they're gonna have to shut off the power. And I was like, what do you mean? Like, we have lights, we have music, we have hair curling irons. And they're like, oh, the winds. They're like gonna cause. Like, if they go into the power lines, it's gonna cause a fire. And there was like, fires around here. And I was like, oh, no. So then we had to get generators. It was a whole thing. But we shot my music video, Pink Christmas, and we rebuilt the Just Trish set on stage. It was very cool. And then it made me think, shout out, by the way, Thousand Oaks Theater, where I'll be December 15th. Oh, by the way, there's still tickets available for San Diego. Love you, San Diego. Get the tickets. They're selling. People are actually, like, buying. They always give me ticket updates every single day. And I was like, okay, let's calm down. But people are actually, like, buying them, so it's gonna be good. It's my first show in San Diego, and I feel like that's where you're gonna get all the good stuff, you know what I mean? Or the mishaps, I think will happen in San Diego, which is also good stuff for TikTok.
Oscar
You know, it's an investment.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
If you're a content creator that covers, you know, influencer news, San Diego is the place to be.
Trisha Paytas
San Diego is the place to be. Because that will be. If there's any mishaps, it'll happen there. And I think that's kind of. I was like, how to hope this goes smoothly, but I'm also like, even.
Oscar
If it doesn't, it's kind of, like.
Trisha Paytas
Iconic in a way. So I'm trying to put on the best show as possible. But if you also want to see Pink Christmas behind the scenes, it's posted on our music tier on Patreon. But, yeah, we rebuilt the whole set and. Oh, the whole point of that was. Is we shot at the Thousand Oaks Theater, the smaller one, and I'm in the bigger one, and we shot the smaller one, and I was just thinking, like, it was set up like this. It was huge because I pushed down a wall, like, it was pushing one of these down. So it was a whole thing. And then there was like a. There's, like an audience set up. And that theater maybe had, like, 300 seats or something. We were trying to count them, I think maybe like, 260 or something. And I was like, this is where we should do the podcast, like, for. That would be so cool to have an audience, like, all the time for this podcast. I don't know how the logistics work. Thousand Oaks Theater, if you want to hit me up. I don't know how it works, but it be so fun to shoot in front of an audience. Because even when we have, like, you guys, like, Jimmy and Isaiah and everyone here and my mom and sister, like, it was just so fun to be in an audience. Like, I feel like it'd be so cool if we did that.
Oscar
I know it would be. And you really thrive in that environment because you love, like, when you get a laugh. And I guess so it's like me times like 300.
Trisha Paytas
That's so true. There is something about live. I don't know what it is. Like, it just. It encourages you. It gives you, like, height, you know.
Jimmy
And it's the right size theater. We looked at it and you see the aisles and you can watch. You can imagine Trisha walking down the aisle between the audience members.
Trisha Paytas
And she's from New Jersey, she's from Texas, she's from Arizona. Like, I could see me doing it. I think it'd be so much fun. And I think we need to do that. I don't know how or when, but we'll figure it out. Especially here in Thousand Oaks. We're both close. Just go down the street. Yeah, I would love. I really felt like that was the right place to do it.
Jimmy
Maybe like the first, like, Jess Trish special. You know, when they do comedy special.
Trisha Paytas
We love a special over here.
Jimmy
Be a special. I know, like once a month or at least start with one like the justice special. And then.
Trisha Paytas
Wait, what is that, though? I don't understand what we're doing. Just the podcast, you know, it's a.
Jimmy
Special show, so I don't know if there's a subject or it needs to be, like, time.
Trisha Paytas
Shows are so much work. I'm putting together this show all by myself, and it is a lot of work. I just stay up, like, late at night trying to put it all together. It's so much work to everything. I love it, but it's also a lot. Maybe they have, like, a director and, like, someone to do it for me, but it's just like doing it all myself is just a lot of work.
Oscar
Yeah. If you're like the Sabrina Carpenter, you know, you step in, you say, I want this, this, and this and this, then you give approval.
Trisha Paytas
Is that what she does?
Oscar
I think that's kind like what artists. I mean, they're involved, obviously, but it's like they don't have to worry about all the little details.
Trisha Paytas
I'm like, thinking now, I'm like, okay, what's the tech aspects for, like, ratio? Like the. When you do the in ears, you have to make sure there's, like, compatibility. There's like, so many things. I also don't know, like, if our tour producer is, like, pushing the button or if it needs to be in, like, you know, all those formats. I don't know, MP4 mov. Like, I don't know.
Oscar
That is your worst nightmare.
Trisha Paytas
Worst nightmare. And I have Jeremy, my sound technician, helping me, but we need to like, figure out, like, the logistics. It's like, so. And then putting it all together and then like, yeah, video. How do they know when to cue the video? Like, it's just a lot. I don't even remember how we did on the past tours, but. But it's gonna be spectacular. So, yeah, that was my hot topic is the wind.
Oscar
Yeah, it was quite windy.
Trisha Paytas
It was. Yeah, that was a windy. So that was the Wednesday, and then Friday we saw each other and did our Patreon.
Oscar
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
You went out Friday night.
Oscar
Oh, I'm breaking news, everyone. I did go out.
Trisha Paytas
We're always going out on the same weekend.
Oscar
I know. That's true. Huh.
Trisha Paytas
It's like, this is our time we got now.
Oscar
And it's like. Is it like once a month kind of thing, too? Right? Like, I feel like that we always have, like, one. Sometimes twice.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. I guess Beetlejuice was my last thing I went to, which wasn't nighttime, that was more daytime on a Monday. I think my last night was maybe Ben Platt. But yeah, that's. Yeah, we're always going out.
Oscar
Yeah, it was really fun. I went to this event called, like, it's called as if. And it's basically. It's just very gay. It's a gay time. Yeah, it's like at a. It was at a club. It was Los Feliz, not West Hollywood, but same similar spirit. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Wait, really? Really? I don't think I've ever gone out in Los Villas.
Oscar
Me either. But I know it's like, pretty poppin. But, yeah, it was really fun. Leland was one of the DJs, and he's Troye Sivan's producer. He does all the music for Drag Race. Troye Sivan was there, but I missed him.
Trisha Paytas
Would you have gone up to him if he was there, if you saw him?
Oscar
Probably because I was drunk and when I'm drunk, I'm so sweet. Yeah. I mean, I literally had two drinks, but that's enough because my tolerance is so low because I never drink.
Trisha Paytas
What do you drink?
Oscar
Vodka soda, which is the signature, like, gay wanting to be skinny drink.
Trisha Paytas
Really?
Oscar
Yeah, it's like the least amount of calories.
Trisha Paytas
Wait, really? That is vodka. No calories in it.
Oscar
I have no idea. But the soda water has no calories.
Trisha Paytas
I love that. Just by itself, I'd be like, vodka soda, hold the vodka. Yeah, that sounds delicious. So you were, like, in. Was that your boyfriend that you posted on your story?
Oscar
Yeah, boyfriend reveal was on my story.
Trisha Paytas
Wow. He looked so different because he showed me him before and I was gonna like, that doesn't look like him, but wow. He Looked really good. Okay. Very cute.
Oscar
Yeah, it was really fun. A lot of viewers were there, so that everyone came up, was like, oscar, thank you for your service. I felt like the president. I was like, yeah. I was like, kamala tease. I was like, yeah, they were coming up, and I was like, no, thank you. And I was like, it was very nice. I was like, yes, thank you so much for watching. It was fun.
Jimmy
It was Veterans Day today, so what? Thank you for your service.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. Okay. Love our veterans.
Oscar
And, yeah, Misha, who a friend of the show, basically, at this point, because I feel like we talked about her a lot. Chaperone, creative director. She was one of the hosts, and I saw her. My boyfriend Darian is obsessed with Misha, too. I mean, she's genuinely, like, just the sweet. Like, she's just an angel. Like, everyone loves her. She's kind of friends with, like, everybody. But my boyfriend was like, we met her at the Chaperone Pop up last month, and he, like, instantly became obsessed with her. It's like, if he was like, my boyfriend was bisexual, I'd be a little nervous because he, like, thinks about all the times, like, like, should I DM Misha when I get there so, like, we can find her? Like, do you think? Do you think? And then he'll like, oh, Misha liked my story. Like, I feel like he, like, literally talks about her, like, so much. Literally. I'm like, what's going on here? But anyway, he, like, is just so gagged by her. But, yeah, she was so, so sweet. Like, we were just dancing the night away.
Trisha Paytas
So what is it? It's like, you. You said a host. So she's like. It's like, host how? Like, is there, like, a show happening?
Oscar
It's just like, a DJ set. And then I actually don't know what the. I guess the host, like, a special guest. Guest of honor, basically. You know what I mean? Yeah. And then her friend Evan also helps put on the event. He's a listener here, so he's very sweet.
Trisha Paytas
Shout out, Evan.
Oscar
Shout out, Evan, we love. He was so nice. Everyone was just nice. It was a good time, especially. Yeah, I was actually. I almost didn't go because I was so sleepy. That was another thing. Everyone was like, wow, you're out really late. And I'm like, I know.
Trisha Paytas
What time. What did it happen?
Oscar
I got. It ended at 2. I got there at 11:30.
Trisha Paytas
Couldn't. I, like, want to so bad. And, like, honestly, it was the night before the Wicked premiere, so I couldn't. Anyways, I Was like, oh, the next one I want to go. But I'm like, thinking realistically, like, 11:30, like, we got home from the Wicked premiere at, like, 10, and I was like, wow, I'm so tired.
Oscar
It does start, like, around. It starts allegedly around 9, but they say, like around 10 is when.
Trisha Paytas
8:45. I'll be there 8:45 to 9:30. Catch my set? Yes. That would be the early set, which, honestly, they should have someone come be the early set. You know what I mean? Because some people just want to be there early and then.
Jimmy
Yeah, you'll be the opener.
Oscar
Yeah, the opener for sure. Yeah. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Would love to be, if there is one.
Oscar
I. Well, I feel like it's hard to follow you, though, so I feel like you'd be the opening. Yeah, it's like, how do you. Troy Simon. That's.
Trisha Paytas
That would be great. I would open for Troy Savannah, actually. He said him and Charlie XCX couldn't get their schedules lined up for a European tour, but I forgot about that. Yeah. Gosh, Troy would have been a great one to see there. I would have gone up to him, I think. I think I would.
Oscar
Yeah. I was just, like, feeling the vibes. I was going up to pretty much everybody, but. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Really? What do you mean, everybody?
Oscar
I was just like. There was. What song? There was some. Oh, it was like a Miley Cyrus song came on. There was girls dancing next to me and then I was like, lip syncing with them. I was like, really living. But it was nice, especially after last week. It was nice to, like, have community be a part of something. All the queer people. I was like, wow, this is what life is about, you know, it's about community, so.
Trisha Paytas
Sure. I mean, it really is.
Oscar
So it was a lot of fun. Oh, yeah.
Trisha Paytas
I wish I could have been there.
Oscar
Well, I. Yeah, I feel like everyone wants you to be there because, like, they're all fans of you. So I think you really should have a little 9:00pm DJ. 9:00pm, 9:30.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, I love a Los Feliz night, too. That's everything. Because I was thinking you were going to Wee House. Like, okay, fierce. But, like, mostly this is kind of, like, unexpected. It's like having a Thousand Oaks gay night. You know what I mean? I love it. Is there any around here? Yeah. After the Trish show.
Oscar
That's true. There must be some. I don't know. It's kind of a heteronormative up here, but is it? I think so.
Trisha Paytas
I guess maybe. I see a lot of gays.
Oscar
There are but like, in comparison to, like, you know, LA proper.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oscar
Because the further you go out of, like, the LA core, the less gay it gets.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, that's yucky. That's why we got so many winds over here. It was a windstorm. Oh, my God. Well, that sounds so exciting. You posted and you posted pictures. You were out and about. I was excited to see her.
Oscar
I know, it was nice. It was nice to get out. No giddy images.
Trisha Paytas
But was it Getty there?
Oscar
There was a photographer there though, that. And she was fierce. She was, you know, really documenting the whole vibe.
Trisha Paytas
But if you weren't getting images, I'd get. You're on Getty Image. Have you ever looked at yours?
Oscar
I. Not on Getty Images.
Trisha Paytas
Really? I feel like. Like, no shade to anyone, but I feel like everybody's on there.
Oscar
Honestly, Tea, I'm like, I don't. I mean, I. I'm happy. Not beyond getting images. Cuz, like, what if you don't like it? You. You can't be like, can you?
Trisha Paytas
Every one of my images. But that's everybody. Everyone's like, ew, I don't hate my Getty image. It doesn't look good. But my. Like, at the end of the day, that's just what we look like. You know what I mean? There's so many people that are like, oh, that doesn't look like me. And I was like, that looks like you. You just. It's not your angle or your filter, which is like, me too. I was like, oh, I such a fat face. And then I was like, oh, that's kind of my face. So it's like, yeah, it's a whole thing. Oh, my God, Getty Images isn't even. You know what? I didn't even care about it before this podcast. I didn't even know about it. Think about it. And now I'm like, obsessed with it. And I'm like, gosh, I wish I wasn't. Because now that's all I think about. I waited to post from the Wicked premiere till the next day because you're like, well, they're still uploading. Maybe there's a chance. And I was like, no, there was one.
Oscar
You have to start from the beginning, though, of the whole. The whole Wicked premiere, because you were good at keeping this a secret. Like, you were really, really good. And it's smart, you know, you never know.
Trisha Paytas
So with everything. Because you never know. I don't like to talk about things until they happen sort of thing, for the most part. So I was, yes, I. I went to the screening for Wicked in October, and even that, I was like, yeah, I didn't talk about that until it happened either, because I was like, I just don't want to jinx anything, whatever. And that was my first Getty Image moment. And I got on getting images and then I got taken down. People ask me, they're like, where's the first Wicked ones? I'm like, I don't know. They were up and then they took them down and I guess they just didn' care to put them up again, which is so annoying. But so I got invited to that. It's so weird how it all came about too. Like, obviously everyone knows that I signed with agents and stuff this year, which I love them, they're so great. But this one literally just came to, like, my general public email. And I thought it was like a scam, but then I looked at the mentions. That's what you always should do if you think you're being scammed. And I saw it was like, you know, from the Universal email, and I was like, oh, my God, so cool. So, yeah, I was like, you're invited to this early screening. It was this whole thing. It was at this bougie place here in West Hollywood. And I was like, so excited. So I went to there. I got to meet the people at Universal, and they're like, super, super nice. And then that night, actually, they're like, okay, just, you know, maybe keep November 9th open. And I was like, oh, my God, I was so excited. But, like, again, I never to get my hopes up. I actually didn't hear anything for like a few weeks, but obviously they're like, so busy. I didn't hear anything for a few weeks. And then Harry Daniels texted us and he's like, oh, you guys are gonna be at the LA premiere. And then I was like, oh, do I say something? Do I not? Cause I'm like, I don't know for sure. Cause I still hadn't gotten the official invitation. And. Yeah, and then, like, literally two days after they were like, I got the invitation. Where were we? Oh, we were at Disneyland when I got it. We were at Disneyland when I got the invitation. So excited. You can tell.
Oscar
Yeah. Ye.
Trisha Paytas
I was like, oh, my God, we got the official invite. And keep in mind, I've never been invited to a premiere ever. So the fact that my first premiere was Wicked, it was actually so cool. And I probably wouldn't go to another premiere again. I had the best time ever. Spoiler. But I probably wouldn't unless I, like, really love something because, oh, my God, it's so much overwhelming.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
You've gone, right, Obviously. Yes. What's like your biggest carpet Oscars? Have you gone to Oscars?
Oscar
Yeah, I've gone to the Oscars.
Trisha Paytas
I can't even imagine that. That sounds overwhelming. Thank you to the sponsor of today's episode, ro Curious about Ozempic, but not sure if insurance covers it. That's where RO comes in. Rogue can help you understand if GLP ones are right for you and your goals. But that's just the beginning. RO members have support throughout the process. That means no insurance paperwork and you'll have access to your provider on demand for any questions. Plus, you can sign up online from the comfort of your own home. That means no waiting for an in person doctor appointment, no commute to the doctor's office, and no waiting rooms. Join the over 250,000 people who have already chosen RO to access GLP1s. Go to RO CO Trish to find out if you're covered for free. That's RO Co Trish. Go to Road Co Safety for box warning and full safety information. Prescription only.
Oscar
Yeah, I think, honestly, I feel like Wicked is probably more overwhelming because there is a lot of fans there versus the Oscars is very, like, locked down. So I think one of the, like, a big premiere like that, like, that's a lot of. They have a lot of like, fan areas. So it's like hundreds of fans that, like, I don't know that that's bigger.
Trisha Paytas
I think that was my favorite part, though. Okay.
Oscar
I love it.
Trisha Paytas
I love it. You guys know sometimes I get anxiety, like, right when out in public in the parking lot Target, like, I get nervous. I'm like, oh, my God. Like, you know, this person coming up to me because they like me or they're gonna make fun of me or they're gonna film me secretly. Whatever. I was, I was so nervous. I was so nervous. I didn't even eat all day. But you know, you know when you don't eat all day or anything, but you still feel like you have to go to the bathroom? I know this is like tmi, but, you know, you just. I couldn't like the whole. The whole morning I was getting glam. I just felt like I had to go into the bathroom going. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's like a nervous.
Jimmy
Excited.
Trisha Paytas
Is it? Yeah, because the glam people tell me too. They're like. It's like a nervous. Almost like a nervous poop, I guess. I don't know. I hate talking about it, so sorry, it's disgusting. But it was like that I hadn't eaten anything. Like I literally had two bites of oatmeal that morning. That's it. Because I was just like, I don't want to eat anything because I don't want to have to go to the bathroom that way or pee or anything. But I just. Oh my God, my stomach was hurting all day. I was just like, oh. And I was like, dang. And I was, it was, it was nerves. I was so nervous. And then, and then it was in downtown. It's at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, which you know, is humongous. It's huge. I looked at the capacity beforehand. I was like a 1300 capacity for the theater. I was like, oh, this is gonna be. And then I start seeing like everyone that was talking about going to the Wicked premiere. I was like, oh my God. I think they invited all of TikTok, which is like great. Obviously I'm happy to be a part of it because they did that for Barbie. They invited every single influencer. And I was like, how's everybody there except for me? And I had really bad fomo, so at least I was a part of it this time. And so they had all these maps, like where parking was, where car drop off was, all this stuff. I was just. I was. Anyways, so I was super excited. I had gotten my dress custom made before I even got the invite by Shout Out Garo Sparrow. They make Sabrina Carpenter's dancers. They're her dancers on tour. Their outfits, they're so great. I think I found them. It was definitely during. One of the queens uses them a lot. Maybe Sugar and Spice use them. I don't know. They're great. They do a lot of queens outfits and I love them so much. So they did the little, little dress for me and I hadn't made before the invite. Anyways, so then we go to the thing and we have a time slot, right? They the, the carpet for influencer started at 4 and it ended at 4:45. But then they were giving time slots to everyone. So we got a 15 minute time slot of 4 to 4:15. Then they moved it up. They're like 3:45 to 4. So we live super, super far from downtown LA. Like without traffic. Take us maybe an hour and a half. And it took us. It took us like almost two and a half hours together. It took so long, but we left plenty of time. We were supposed to get there at 3:45. We left at like 1, so. But we didn't get there. Plenty of time. It was like, right at the cut off almost. But we got there, and then they dropped us off and whatever. And then there was just like. You know, it's at this point, it's like, have you ever gone as, like, an influencer or just like, not with E.T.
Oscar
No.
Trisha Paytas
You never gone as, like, a guest or just, like, got tickets to a premiere and when.
Oscar
No, you're like, I want to overwork.
Trisha Paytas
I'm not gonna go by myself. Okay, well, they kind of like. And like, that's to be expected, right? You're kind of like. You're kind of like, hurdled in. Hurdled. Huddled, you know, like.
Oscar
Yeah, herded in.
Trisha Paytas
Herded in.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
That sounds like cattle or something, though. That's not what I was trying to say.
Oscar
Oh, I thought that's where you're going.
Trisha Paytas
With that, bringing us in. I don't sound like we're like, okay.
Oscar
So there were dogs.
Trisha Paytas
There was so much happening. There was things roped off, and we didn't know how to get where all these people were getting tickets. So I'm like, okay, let's go there where they're all getting tickets. We're trying to, like, ju these ropes. But then someone did come get us from Universal. Like, oh, you come this way. Like, your tickets are gonna be down there if you're gonna do the carpet. And I was like, oh, thank God. Because I. We're just like. We're just kind of going. And no one knew anything. We're asking the other people who are attending. We're just like, where did we go? I was like, I have no clue. So then they, like, take us down, and we see the carpet. The carpet shut down on, like, Hope Street. I think it was. It was all, like, shut down. And I was getting so nervous. I almost was gonna pass out. I think I almost was getting and the nervous because. Just a lot of things to be nervous about. One sometimes you kind of like, I have, like, imposter syndrome. Like, what am I doing here? Like, this is why. This is why I've always avoided. I've never been invited, but in my mind, I would never want to go to the Oscars because I just think, like, so many people be like, why are you here? You know what I mean? I don't think that about any other influencer. I think influencers thrive by the way in the setting. Like, all the influencers were living their best life. And I, like, I was, like, so excited to see that. So it made me excited But I also got really nervous because that's also like, I don't know what I'm doing. Like, I don't know. I'm just. I don't know. I felt like not in the loop. Every other influence I saw there has done this million times. They even told me, like, oh, oh, yeah, Barbie was great. The joker one was like this. You know, they're like, telling us this experience. Yeah. Like, this is what happens. And then this. And I was just like. And it was nice. It was great because it came in a little more, but I was so nervous. So then we come around to the barricade and all of a sudden, so there's like a fan. I guess they call them, like fan pens, which I didn't know. Like, little, like, pens to hold the fans and I guess. So there's like a first one before the carpet even starts. And it was like just kind of like on the street, like a parade almost. And all of a sudden it was just like a roar. It was just like, woo, woo. Like, literally everyone starts looking around. And I was just, like, looking around, looking around. And I was just like, what? And then all of a sudden I started hearing, like, Trisha. And I was like, oh, my. And then, like, it felt like, honestly, like I hallucinated for real. I really felt that way. And that's why I was, like, so confused. And I was like. And then people were, like, looking. And then I was like, I'm like, I don't know. Because there was a lot of influencers there. You know what I mean? And I was like. And obviously they probably did it for a lot of influencers, but it was just so weird and so unexpected. I was so, like. I felt like I hallucinated. I was like, in disbelief for a minute. And then I was like. And then they kept saying, trisha, Trisha. And I was just like, oh, my God, this is so weird. So then I was like, can I go over there? Because no one's going over to the little fan pad. I didn't know if we were allowed to. And no one's stopping me. No one's saying no. Most, like, there's no can just go.
Jimmy
Like, you know, like, just go.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, yeah. Because there was like, security and I. I don't know, everyone was just like, waiting in line for this carpet. But you're like, waiting there for 30 minutes.
Jimmy
What's the etiquette? Like, what are you supposed to do? Supposed to do. But really.
Trisha Paytas
But I'm like, well, they're calling my name. I want to go over there. And I got so excited. They were so cool. One of the shout out to one of the people in the little pen holding area, he. It was like, interview. He was like asking questions like, trisha, Trisha, where's your Rainbow Birkin? And I was like, and it's on TikTok. I saw it. And I was like, thank you. This was the question we all want to know. And I was like, were we talking about the Rainbow Birkin on Friday?
Oscar
No.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, I was talking about someone, maybe it was my glam people. And they were saying like, oh, you. Oh, I know. My choreographer asked me if I wanted to perform at Pride next month or next year. He's like, do you want to go to like, LA Pride and like, perform? And I was like, yeah, maybe, because, like, I can probably do it now. And I was like, if it's an opportunity, if there's like anything, yes, I love Pride. Like, absolutely. I'll go on the 10am slot. I don't care. Like, put me in Pride. That'd be the best thing ever. And then he's like, oh, maybe we can like, you know, incorporate your rainbow Birkin in the choreography. And I was like, absolutely. That'd be so cool. So I told him, I said, oh, I'll probably perform with it next year at Pride. That's what I told the person. So I'm keeping it now. And then all the Comments are like, a.k.a. nobody wants it. That's fine. If no one wants it, I want it even more. So currently not for sale. Unless you want to buy it, you can email me.
Oscar
But it was, it was, unless you want it.
Trisha Paytas
Best offer. But. But yeah, it was cool. It was cool, like so many people. It was cool, like, it was actually really cool. Cool that so many people cared, I guess. Just, no, maybe no one else just went over me. That's why they shot at my name. Because maybe they shot other people's names. Like, we're not going over, but.
Oscar
And they were. I saw that they were waiting for like, I think six hours in that pen too.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, they're waiting so long getting up so early. Oh, my God, that's wild. So it was cool. It was. That was the first thing that made me like less nervous. And then all of a sudden I was like, okay, I feel like there's like some reason to be here. You know what I mean? Like, at least I get to meet like cuts up people, like in real life. And it just made me really excited and got me really excited, oddly enough, for my shows, which Is, like, so weird. Like, when we went to cancel, then we went to this, I was just like, oh, I' kind of, like, really excited to perform now because these are people here, obviously for Wicked, for, like, Ariana and Cynthia and all them. But I was like, oh, this is cool. So then it got me really excited. So I kind of, yeah, went over there. It was really fun. They did a little chant when I left. They're like, trisha, Trisha. Which is this. It's so cool. Like, it really is. Like, I don't know how to explain it. It was really, really cool. And again, like, something I'm not, like, used to. But then, like, there was a one someone in front of me and like, oh, they really, like, like, love you or something. I'm like, I think they're just, like, shocked I'm out of the house. You know what I mean? I think that was never. Yeah, I think all the other influencers go the time with these, which is, like, wonderful. But I think everyone's like, that makes.
Oscar
It so much more fierce, though. Like, a rare Trisha Paytas, like, personal appearance. Like, I think that's why Twitter. Just the one video of you, like, walking over to, like, meet the fans. Like, I saw that first.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
And everyone was, quote, tweeting it, like, oh, my God. Even, like, the film accounts are like, quote tweeting at pop crave base. I mean, you know, it's big when, like, Trisha is out on a carpet, you know?
Trisha Paytas
That was cool. I feel like, yeah, I wouldn't have the same impact if I go do it again next week. You know what I mean? It was really quiet. We thought too. We were standing. We're standing in that very line and it was already up. Like, it was like, crazy.
Oscar
So quick.
Trisha Paytas
Wow, that was so fast. That's why I started posting. I was like, okay, let's just post or whatever. And then. Yeah, so we're shading that line and it was cool. Then once again, someone from maybe Universal or somewhere else, someone else pulled us again to come do, like, a little style cam for. Was it for E? I don't know. One of those. Yeah, yeah. So I did a little style. Camera was in the little montage, which was fun. And then at that point, I just blacked out and disassociated because I honestly don't remember anything like, me posing all this stuff like that. I was just extremely nervous, as I always am. And then, like, the very first, there was three parts to this carpet. There was three parts to it, which I don't know, I guess. According to Lauren Gray, I saw her there shout out Lauren. She's like, oh, it's usually not like this. It's usually a really short carpet. And then you go right into the theater. This was like a whole. This was like a three step process. And then they like held you in this like little. Like we were like held from like 4 to 6pm in this like little. Not little, but it was like a bar area until we could go up at 6:00. So it was like a whole thing. Thing. But the carpet itself was like three pieces basically, and it was huge. And like the first part is like, it really was kind of like Hunger Games. There was like different levels to this. Right? Like, and when you went through no Not Hungry Games, what is the one? Have you ever seen Legends of the Hidden Temple?
Oscar
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. It was like that where you had like each, each. After each thing you like leveled up to the next thing. You know what I mean? And so it was like scary. You didn't know what was coming up in the next level. So the first level. The first level. This is the wire image, I guess it's Or Getty, I keep calling. Well, there is a wire image, but there's like, this is like the photographer, Getty Image 1. I think in the first round, it's where the wicked and like we were like the very first people to get there. There was maybe like, I don't know, maybe 30, maybe, maybe like 40 influencers before us. But we were like, definitely one of the first because we got to stand there by ourselves as opposed to later on. I saw when influencers were coming, they were putting someone on the W, the C and the D. So ours was just like. I just got like a moment which was cool. It was cool. But also the. It's not like a bad thing. But the other thing was like nobody was there. So there was like four photographers.
Jimmy
We got to say hi to Danny as he came in.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, well, we'll get to that. We'll get to Danny at et, which we love by the way. But so. And we'll pro. We'll go back to like our preparation for it too. But so I was like on there, you know, and it is like, it is scary because at the end of the day there was like. I'm not. I said four. But like, realistically, I'm trying to think maybe There was what, 12 photographers already there in that first section.
Jimmy
Well, the still photographers there was a lot. I would say even 20.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, okay.
Jimmy
But that's because they were, like, layered, you know, but there was, like, a lot of still photographers just, like, shooting.
Trisha Paytas
And I will say. And like, also on me too. But it was scary because obviously you see people go before you, and a lot of them don't take pictures. Like, they just. They don't want to take pictures of the influencers, which I think Britney Brooks talked about that one time, how they took, like, one photo of her and then just, like, didn't care. And I think that's just, like, in. In general, like, for influencers. And me too. So when I went up there, it was scary because I saw so many people for me, where no one got there. Like, they got, like, one picture. I was like, oh, my God, that's gonna be me. Like, one picture, whatever. And so, you know, and it's fine. Nobody really cares. But it's kind of like it's all like, older, like, men for the most part. It's like people who don't know you or whatever. But there was a lot. And then so I was like, oh, no, I'm gonna go up there. Like, no one's gonna care. And so. And they kind of. Whatever. So then Moses goes around. At least Moses, like, taking my video.
Jimmy
They did. So you have a good sign of how it's gonna go. They. They got somebody with an iPad. They wrote her name. Yeah, okay. And he goes and put the name up. So, you know, at least. Okay, they know to take a picture. There's a name.
Trisha Paytas
Well, everyone got that. Everyone got that. And sometimes they didn't take a picture. Which is what was making me nervous because we had talked about this too, where they're like, they don't care. And these guys, these are men. They don't care. They're just like, we're here for Ariana Grande.
Oscar
You know what I mean? Old school. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
So I saw so many people not get their picture taken. They were still eating it up, by the way. Everyone was still posing as if there was 5,000 people taking their picture. That's what I thought. I was like, honestly, same. I'm going to just do that too. So I was like, well, at least when Moses like filming. So I'm just gonna, like, give it my all, whatever. And I was giving a lot. Now I will say, like, okay, yes, there was only one Getty image that went up, but I will say there was maybe, I think at least six photographers taking pictures of me.
Jimmy
Three times they stopped you because you were starting to walk away. And there's another group of doctor like, Trish. Trisha and then the next one took more pictures.
Trisha Paytas
I don't know.
Jimmy
I'm sure there's more publications.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Cuz I was super. I was super, you know, embarrassed. So I was like, oh my God, let me just. Okay, one person. Like one. Like there was like three people that took pictures. I was, okay, I'm gonna run. And then they would stop and be like, trisha again. So I was like, okay, at least I got like, maybe like, I don't know, probably like 20 or 30 pictures taken. And then I was super excited to check Getty Image when we got into our little thing. And I saw one picture, but not even in my full dress. And my dress was so iconic and everyone said it and I was like, wait, why did they do that? I was like, like, that's so. It was just like of my face and. And there were so many pictures of everyone else. And I'm like, it's fine. But also like, what? Like, I was so sad. And I mean, it's fine. It's just a Getty image. But then the day I still kind of like, they have like thousands of pictures of everybody and like influencers too. So I was like, damn. I really. I guess that's why I don't like, I avoid those things because it's like a ranking of influencers. So I just felt like bottom of the barrel. Like. But you know what? That's why the fans hyped me up. Because then once you got through there, there was like another little, like two little fan pens. And they hyped me up every time I'd come through the next like, level. It was cool. That's why I felt like Hunger Games, because I felt like, yeah, you made it through. And everyone was super excited. Then I got hyped up again. So even though, like Getty Images didn't care about me, the fans cared about me and that's what mattered. And it was really cool. And everyone was really excited because they know I'm like such a wicked fan. And so are they, obviously. And everyone from the pen got to go see not the ones outside, but the ones on the carpet got to go see the film after. So everyone was just excited because we could see the movie again. So then we went to the second one and the second one was more like a free for all where you could just like take your own pictures. That's where we took our picture. And everyone was very nice. All the influencers were really nice, nice in front of us. Like we were taking pictures of them. They took pictures of Us and video. And that was really fun. That must be where they did video was in that second one. Because when I was, like, posing in front of the thing, that video seemed to go everywhere. So I don't know. I guess that was where it was at. But I guess the advantage of being there early, too, is when E started their life from the red carpet. I was like the first person they show. They're like, let's take a look at what celebrities are like a minute.
Jimmy
Our thumbnails here.
Oscar
I love it.
Trisha Paytas
Arms up. Yeah. You're like, current mood. I don't know why my arms up. I hate my arms more than anything in the whole world. I try to hide them at all costs. But for some reason, this is why I know I disassociated or blacked out because for some reason, everything is like, up and up. And I was like, oh, my arms. I'm usually not self conscious, but that was. I was like, I don't know. I don't know what came over me. I just. I guess I was just like, this is my moment. Like, let me just try and make something. I don't know. But I always. All my getty images are always just like me, like, mid laugh, like, me looking crazy. I just. I can't help it. I just got. I get, like, really excited. Everyone else is fierce. I will say all the influencers, they're like. They, like, they know how to post. Chris Olsen just, you know, carpet. Yeah, that's because I think it's weird. I know Chris Olson's car, too. I saw like a Behind the scenes, like, someone. Whatever. His car pulls up right to the carpet. I was like, I didn't know that was an option. I'm just gonna do that next time. Just like. Because they give you very specific instructions. You have to park up here. Come down, down here. He's like. His SUV drops him off right there. I was like, oh, my God, Next time we'll know. Another carpet. But it was cool because then that one, I got to be it because it wasn't live yet. Obviously, when I was there, like, people were just getting. But. But you know what? Okay. By the way, can I just say. And like, this is not me trying to brag or anything like this, but I did check E News's Tick Tock that featured me, and I was the most viewed TikTok.
Oscar
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
I mean, I don't know. Like, I'm just saying it was 2 million views, and I think the second one was Frankie Grande with like 1 million. I was like, I don't usually get views like that, but I was like, damn, this is really good. So, because we did run into Danny, I don't think there was any urgency to interview me, which is fine. Which is totally fine, because I did see his interviews later. Obviously, he's like E.T. too. We saw. Because we saw. As I was exiting the carpet, we did see them. Like, they have, like, a platform. Like, they had a platform. It was, like, set up, very bougie and very nice. And, yeah, we did. So we saw Danny, like, right when we got into that little, like, media area. Denny's living his best life. He's, like, walking. He's posing. Walking. Just. He's with. Who's the lady he was with? Is she working?
Oscar
The one, the producer?
Trisha Paytas
Did you know her? No. I say I know Oscar by. So, like, I didn't know if you knew her. Okay. She was really sweet, too. So they were all very sweet, but they were posing. He's getting his content. Like, he's like. He really is like, influencers. I guess he's a host, but he's like, more influencer status. Which, again, I love everyone. I will say this too. And I really liked this. Is everyone hyped everyone up. Because what I consider, like, cringey for myself, like, me being there, I think I like seeing everyone, like, thrive in this red carpet. Whether people were taking pictures or they were just on their phone or not. Like, I. I loved it. Like, people were really, like, happy and excited. And again, I think at this time in this world, like, it is nice to just have, like, this, like, fantasy escape where you get to be. Because I think everyone. Maybe not everyone, but I think a lot of people dream about being on a red carpet. I don't know. It seems glamorous. It seems fun. It's like, you know, So I think everyone was just like, this is my moment. People flew in from New York, so I don't think they're doing a New York premiere, but I don't think it's, like, an influencer, heavy premiere. So I think this was the premiere everybody was at. And everyone hypes people up. So I'm, like, twirling. I'm doing all my crazy stuff, and people like. But they're doing it for everyone. We did it for everyone. We met. There was two. Two French influencers in front of us, and we were hyping them up. Like, everyone was like, everyone was really hyping each other up, which felt really nice because, you know, I was thinking of people being mean, being like, oh, look at this girl. You know, eye roll. I got one eye roll. I will not say who it's from, but I did get one eye roll. And it was in the. Not the after, but the like, little holding area. We were before the screening.
Jimmy
The reception.
Trisha Paytas
Huh?
Jimmy
Like, the reception.
Trisha Paytas
The reception. And we were like exiting and it was like super crowd, everything. And I. I saw this girl that I just. I just know from TikTok. And usually most people that you know or you know, you know their face or something, everyone's like, oh, hey, o. Hey. And I'm like, I watch you on TikTok. So that was my, like, attitude all night is like, even if I just kind of recognize someone, I was like, oh, my God, I love you on Tik. Like, and it's true. I recognize so many people. And I think people were like, shocked. Like, there's this boy that raps that I've met and he was. I was. I was just really excited. So there was like one person that I was like, oh, my gosh. And then she's just like. Like that. And she like did an eye roll and I was like, kind of gagged and I was kind of like. And it's someone we don't think we've ever talked about here on the podcast. I was just kind of like a little shook. And she was the only one because everybody else was just like. So their energy was like an all time high. And so I don't know if it was me or I'm just gonna say because we were like all crowded and squeezing and she's kind of going the opposite direction. We're all trying to get out of this little bar to go to the screening and she's coming the opposite way as if to go to the bathroom or something. So she's just like. Like that. And so I was like, maybe it was just like she couldn't get through. Maybe it's like, oh, this crowd or something. So I'm not trying to think of that way, but I was like, oh, okay.
Oscar
So who sound? We'll bleep it.
Trisha Paytas
But say bleep it, Jimmy.
Oscar
Oh, okay.
Trisha Paytas
I know, but like, kind of shocking, right?
Oscar
Yeah. Not who I was expecting.
Trisha Paytas
Thank you to the sponsor of today's episode, Kickoff. Kickoff is a great credit building tool and I'm here to tell you more about it. So if you guys know anything about me. You know, a common theme is that I ruined my credit in my early 20s. It's a very simple to do it. A lot of people happens, but credit is Everything these days, if you want to buy a house, a car, get the best rates. Credit is super important. So even if you didn't ruin your credit like myself, building credit is also important. You may think, well, I've never had a credit card, I've never done this, I'm golden. But even if you've never had credit, it also can reflect. You want to be able to show that you can pay off your payments on a timely manner. With Kickoff, it does just that. When you make your payments on time, it helps build up your credit. So if you want to fix your financial health and build up your credit, use Kickoff today. So many people have used it and have found a huge improvement in their credit. Don't get denied anymore for having bad credit or no credit, all with Kickoff. So how does Kickoff work? Well, the most basic plan is Kickoff Basic, which is the most popular plan at just $5 a month. Kickoff Premium is the most powerful plan at just $20 a month. Kickoff gives you a credit line just for credit building and reports it to the three major credit bureaus. Kickoff helps you quickly improve the key factors and determine your credit. Factor one, your new account immediately diversifies your credit mix. Factor two, each on time, monthly Kickoff payment builds payment history. And factor three, because your monthly payments are so small, your credit utilization, the amount of credit you're actually using, gets healthier faster. This is a great way to build your credit. Other credit cards can seem daunting. The interest rates, all of that stuff, starting small shows a huge improvement on your credit. I know for me personally with my bad credit, whenever I've gotten loans, I've had to pay huge interest rates. Yeah, I didn't and like I said, every single person was nice even if they didn't know who I was or they didn't recognize me. If I was like, oh my God, I love you. Like everyone was nice. Like it was really. And again I like honestly it could have been the crowd. So I'm not even saying it was because of me but that was like the only, only thing. But everyone was in such good and high spirits. So there was nothing negative to report. As far as far as influencers. I do think there was like a separate call for like bigger influencers. I do think like the Chris Olsen Dillon Mulvaney's. I think they were like a separate call because they were getting the variety. Like variety wasn't even there. I will say shout out to Out Out. Is it out magazine? Yeah, out magazine. They interviewed me. I was super excited. Only One person wanted to interview me because I will say to. Like, nobody was set up. Like, there was literally, like, there maybe was like, 20 people there. But, like, as far as interviews, nobody was giving an interview. Like, no one is doing.
Oscar
For the. To clarify, too, like, the call time for the cruise was the same time that your call time was. So everyone is just getting there, setting up.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, so. Yeah, so that's totally fine. So I. There definitely was, like, no variety. Again, that's. I would not expect to be interviewed by them, but it was one of those. It was in the area where we were just taking pictures anyway. So it kind of was like, whatever. I was just, like, trying to get through it. But. Shout out. I was super excited. I also did the, like, the actors from Wicked, all the queer actors. Like, I really, really love them. So I loved the person who was doing the interviews. I did not get his name. I asked his name and I forgot it. But he was so great. He was in his bright green and he was just. He had the best questions. He was, like, so excited. I guess Moses said he was, like, calling me a couple of times. I didn't hear.
Jimmy
Making sure that you go and go to.
Trisha Paytas
I had tunnel vision because I just, like, didn't want to be embarrassed that no one was. And it's fine. Like, nobody was getting called over. I don't know why. Like I said, they're obviously there for the big stars, but in me, I'm just embarrassed by every single thing that happens. Like, I could literally be at, like, Jamba Juice and, like, if they don't call my name, I'm embarrassed. I'm like, oh, sorry. Actually, I had a. I had a peanut butter chocolate. I'm very, like, embarrassed. So I think this is the same. It was that, like, times 20, but I guess I didn't know this person was calling me over and I was like, oh, this person? I was like, oh. I didn't even know who they were, where they were from at first. And I saw their microphone and I said, out. And I was like, oh. And I just. That just made my whole day. So. Shout out. I don't know if the interview ever went up or anything, but he asked good questions. The obvious and my favorite musical, all stuff like that. The final question he asked me, though, was like, oh, you know Ariana Grande? Like, if you could pick any one of her songs to put into the movie, what would you put? And I was like, oh, my God. Like, I was trying to think. I was like, I love Ariana Grande, but I Was like, wait, I can't even think of one song. And then I felt really, like, on. I felt really pressured. And I was like, I obviously know her new ones. But I was like, oh, I know the breakup with your girlfriend. But I was like, okay, that has not been to Wicked. So I was like, oh, my God. Side to side. I was like, what is it? Like, I only know her sexual ones. And then I was like, I couldn't think. So then luckily it popped in my head, like, we can't be friends. Well, maybe for the beginning of the movie, it could be we can't be friends because I cannot think. Oh, see?
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
What would you have said? What gets you break free? Oh, how'd it go?
Oscar
This is the part when I say, yo.
Trisha Paytas
You knew that the second you said the question.
Oscar
I was like, well, yeah, it's great.
Trisha Paytas
Wait, really? I didn't know that was her song.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Is there someone else on there with her?
Oscar
No, but it's more like a. It's early Ari, so it's a lot more like edm.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Like, I know that song. That's so crazy. I never knew that was her. So he had the good questions. It was really great. And I did talk super fast. I was like, make sure you talk slow. And I was like, that'll never happen. I get so nervous and excited. But I was so excited he wanted to interview me, so. Thank you. We love you so much.
Oscar
Well, did you know about the news thing?
Trisha Paytas
No. No. We knew about it when we were in that little bar area. Yeah, because then the red carpet. Because I told you, they're going to do a live red carpet. I was super sad. Like, watch for me. And then, like, people were watching and like, oh, it doesn't start till 5. I was like, oh, that's awkward. I'm not going to be on it. So when they. When I was the first person. I think. I don't know. Do you see on Twitter. You saw it somewhere. You showed it to me.
Jimmy
Twitter? Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. When they did the announcement, I had the two hosts from E. And they were like, hey, guys, welcome to the Wicked PR Premiere. Like, let's see what celebrities are on the red carpet app. When they panned me for, like a good, like, 20 seconds, I was like, oh, my God, that's crazy. So it must have been just cut in.
Oscar
No, but the other E. News thing, did you hear about it?
Trisha Paytas
No.
Oscar
I'm like, how did I tell you? No, there was a demand that they interview you, so the producers went to go find you. But you had already left that like, section.
Trisha Paytas
What do you mean demand?
Oscar
In the live stream chat where they were live streaming, everyone's like, you need to interview Trisha. And then they're like, okay, we're going to go get her. But then you had already left that section. And so they're like, sorry. Then the producers had to come and let them know, like, sorry, you guys, she's already in the other section. We tried to interview her.
Trisha Paytas
Wait, when did they say that?
Oscar
In the chat?
Trisha Paytas
Yes, the producers in the chat said, sorry, communicate.
Oscar
Yeah, they're like, let. Cuz it was being flooded by people saying, interview Trisha. Stop it.
Trisha Paytas
And I didn't even ask them. I didn't even say that cuz I had no idea that was happening. What?
Oscar
Yeah, so.
Trisha Paytas
Oh my God, that makes me.
Oscar
Well, there.
Trisha Paytas
I wanted to go back around, but they wouldn't let us. I was like, dang. Like, you know, I was like, oh, maybe if I just go back more time, mostly for ET Because I was like, well, I haven't, like, they're going to want to interview me. But oh man, he knew it would have been such a slay because then.
Jimmy
He said, you know, come back later and find me. Yeah, it sounds very casual. What does that mean?
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, he was great. I did a little interview on him. I was like, where's your bling microphone? And he was great. He was great. He's really nice. I really do love Denny so much. He was really nice. And we got selfies and video and yeah, we talked for like a good like two minutes on the carpet. So I thought like, so should we go back and do an interview now or. Cause I was like, this is it. But obviously he interviewed the stars of it all. That's so cool. Thank you guys so much. Oh my God, that's so sad though.
Oscar
Your time will come. But again, the more elusive you are. I feel like it's. It adds to the campness.
Trisha Paytas
I don't know. One interview would have been great. One interview would have been nice. I was so jealous. Variety interviewing Chris and Dylan. I was like, I'm so jealous right now. It would have been great. But yeah, you're right, I was being elusive. I was sitting. Sitting in the corner, in the corner because my feet hurt. But you know what?
Oscar
It's like Chap one at the Olivia Rodrigo premiere, like, you know, she's like, no interview. She's like, you know, blows me a kiss, but then she keeps moving. You know, that's the energy that you have to have. Yes, yes. Yeah, it Makes you more elusive, more in demand.
Trisha Paytas
Okay.
Oscar
Because it is true. Like, whenever people want to interview someone and it's like, ooh, like, maybe we'll get them, like. Like a chapel or something. And it's like, oh, Chapel wasn't talking, so Trisha wasn't talking. Except for out, because she's an ally.
Trisha Paytas
Of all the interviews I was most proud of, I was so excited. I was like, absolutely. This is what I'm here for.
Oscar
Trisha wasn't talking to any other outlet at the time.
Trisha Paytas
I. That's. Oh, my God. That kind of makes me so sad, though. Like, someone kind of came into that. It was such a small holding area. They knew I was in there. They wouldn't let you leave anywhere else. Someone could have been like. But I guess that's a lot for. I guess. If someone went to go look, though, if there was, like, a producer.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Do you think he actually went to look? Sorry, guys, she's not here.
Oscar
I feel like, why not? If the demand is there Was this.
Trisha Paytas
What time do you think?
Oscar
I think it was later on, but not when, like, Ari.
Jimmy
We were already going to the. To see the movie, so we left the reception.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, really?
Jimmy
That's when they looked for us.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, but I feel like that's. They were already on the red carpet by then. Like, Ariana and Cynthia. I thought they were because they were there when we were in the bar because everyone rushed. They're all like, oh, my God, Ariana's out there. And they all rushed out. So I think it was. I guess we'll never know. But that's so mad. I'm so. Well, that's cool. Well, whatever. I think we were just there, like, super, super early, which was, like, fine. And we got there actually even earlier than 3:45. I think we started maybe like, 3:30. So also, I don't think they would have known because there was just so many people. So we just got in a line with them and, you know, no one. Did anyone check us? I don't know. Maybe not.
Jimmy
They obviously recognize you.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, maybe they had.
Jimmy
They had papers with headshots.
Oscar
The face shape.
Jimmy
Oh, yeah, yeah. So the people that kept talking to us, they always had.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. I was like, we really didn't show ID because I lost my ID that morning. And I was, like, trying to find it. I was like, oh, my God, I need id. And then I was like, wait, they're. We didn't even check, but everyone looked really good.
Jimmy
Everyone looks like you.
Trisha Paytas
So it's like, okay, thanks, baby. It was it was fun. Who else did we see on the red carpet? So we saw. Yeah. Then there was another. There was a whole fandom in one of the pens that were all cosplayers. And I think their costumes were designed by the costume designer, Wicked.
Oscar
Whoa.
Trisha Paytas
I think.
Jimmy
Yeah, they. They work with it or something. Yeah, there's a connection to it.
Trisha Paytas
Their costumes were so amazing. And I actually was. I actually. Next premiere would want to. Well, I. It's hard to see because Wicked is so unique. I would have wanted to be there in the pen because not only did he get to see the movie, they got to be on the carpet the whole time. So they got to see all the celebrities. Jonathan Bailey came and kissed one of them. And I was like, man, I wish I could have just stayed in that little pen with them. You know what I mean? Because that would have been. You get to see everybody. So we didn't get to. I was, like, super grateful, obviously, and obviously was trying to get that getting image. But other than that, I would have loved to have been in the pen. Maybe next time. I don't know how they even get that. Like, how those fans got to be there. Like, I don't know.
Oscar
I don't know either. I think a lot. I know, like, Ariana. Ariana's, like, top listeners were invited, so maybe some of those. There was a lot of different, like, little contests and stuff, so maybe that way. And I know, like, the, like, the Wicked Instagram and, like, Twitter account, like, dm. Some fans who are, like, really active on social media that are promoting the movie. So maybe that too. I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
I didn't get a dm. I promoted the movie. There was. There was two girls I was so excited to meet. They have Oz accounts. One's called the Oz Vlogs and the others follow that Yellow Brick girl. And they're, like, huge wizard of Oz fans. Like, their entire accounts are always just wizard of Oz all day, every. Every day for the past, like, five or six years. And I got to meet both of them and they've been, like, doing a lot. They got to go to the movie set. They got to interview Cynthia and Ariana at the junkets the day before. Like, they're really cool. So I was excited to get to meet them. And they knew who I was. The Oslo was like, oh, my God, do you wanna be on one of my TikToks? I was like, yeah, you girls are like queens. So I got to meet them. It was cool. It was cool to get to meet everyone. I Sat next to the creative director of Mac Cosmetics and too faced.
Oscar
Whoa.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, he was cool. And he had sent me a dm. He was like, oh, happy to be your seat partner. And I was like, oh, my God. Same if you ever want to collab. Because, you know, I don't really ask people what they do. But he was asking me. And we had so much time to talk, and Moses was running down to get me a popcorn. We were like, in third. We were kind of like, it would be considered nosebleed. I don't mind it, by the way, but we were, like, kind of in the nosebleeds. I think all the influencers were together in the nosebleeds because I think the cast was probably down there, and I think the fans were by the cast is what it looked like. Like, the hardcore fans. And then there was, like, a second story, and then we're like, in the third story. And so. Yeah. And then he was asking me, like, what I do. And then I was asking him what he does, and I said he was like, creative director for Mac. I think he, like, used to own Paper magazine and sold it. Like, he. Yeah, he was really cool. He was really nice. And then I was like, oh, like, do you guys do the Viva Glams? And he said, ken, Petra sister came with a lipstick. So then I DM'd him because he DM'd me. And then I was like, there's ever a clap happening, let me know. He's like, oh, we at Mac, like, love you. I'm like, oh, my God, you guys know who I am. Like, thank you. So it was, I think, I guess the point of all that is, like, it's cool to go out and meet people because, like, one, it's like getting to meet other creative people you normally would to me. And two, just like, people I don't know. It's just nice to be like, oh, we like you, we know you, we recognize you kind of thing. I think that's cool because I think I forget that happens a lot.
Jimmy
We consume TikTok more than any other media. And this was like. We were walking in our for you page.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Yeah.
Jimmy
It's like every person you see is a person that you've. We've been watching for years, like, since the Pandemic. Some of those early creators that.
Trisha Paytas
Lauren Goodwin, she had her pink hair.
Jimmy
And so it's been. It was kind of interesting. It was nice, and they were all so nice. And.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, everyone was. Everyone was very nice.
Jimmy
And it was, like, really nice.
Trisha Paytas
We saw Lauren, shoot from the podcast. We saw Bob the drag queen.
Oscar
I was so excited about Bob.
Trisha Paytas
I was gag. This was, like, Taurus, yet I was so gay. I almost didn't recognize him. He looked, like, so fierce and, like, I just. A lot of his stuff, I guess, is just, like, from trash up. So I didn't realize, like, how tall?
Oscar
Tall? Yeah, he's really tall.
Trisha Paytas
Statuesque. Like, his body was, like, insane. I was just like, oh, my God, he looks so good. So I almost didn't recognize him. He looks so beautiful. Got his number. He said he was down on the podcast.
Oscar
Yeah, I love Bob, but I love.
Trisha Paytas
Well, you know what I told him. I was like, oh, my God, girls, you. But then I was like, my. And he. It's so funny because he, like, gets my biggest. It's not like a pet peeve, but I would say, like, 90 people come up to me, will always be like, my sister loves you. My mom loves you. Like, oh, my girlfriend loves you. Like, say hi. And it's like. So I said that to him. I said, oh, I don't know why I said that. I said, I love you. I don't know why I just said, like, I guess I should have said, me and Oscar love you. Because I'm like, I love you too. I'm trying to act like I'm not a fan or something. Like, oh, let me get a picture for Oscar. Like that. And I was like, why did I say that? Because it's so annoying. And he said. He's like, no, I get it. He goes, because you always meet. You never meet your own fans. You always meet a fit. Someone is a fan. That's so true. Because no one will ever say, oh, I'm a huge fan. There. I was like, my husband's a fan or someone, you know? And I did that. I was like, oh, my God, that was so weird. I'm like, I'm a fan, too. I don't know why I said that. So he was really nice. And yeah, I told him. I'm like, you're the reason we started Patreon, because your Patreon is popping, and.
Oscar
We, like, love.
Trisha Paytas
Patreon. So he was really, really nice. I met. Oh, I met someone who works over at Little Chapel Horrors on Off Broadway. He came and sat next to me, and he's. I'm like, I don't know. I was that drunk. But I also have the confidence. I don't know every single person. I was like, why am I not in it? Like. And he's like, no, but Would you actually do it? I'm like, yes. What? Like, he's like, you would come to. Yes, I will move to New York. Like, what? Like, yeah, I would do it. So he's like, no, I'm sure. Because I thought they were closing this year. He's like, no, we're not closing. And I was just like, oh, I would love to be in it, you know, so. So, yeah. He's like, okay, I'll talk to them. Let him. He also runs the socials for Smash on Broadway, and he reposted my Smash video. So it's nice to meet those people who repost your stuff, because they just reposted it, like, a month ago, my Smash music video. And I was like, oh, that's so random. And he said that, too. He's like, people in. In the. In, like, inside. In the internal part of Smash. Like, what is this? And he's like, oh, it's so. He knew. He was like. He had the tea. He was really great. And I talked to him for a while, so it's cool. I guess it is kind of, like, not sound how, like, networking.
Oscar
It really is. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. I guess I should probably go to more things. I don't get invited to anything, but I would. God, I don't know if I would do another premiere again, only because it is, like, just, like, a lot of work, a lot of waiting. My feet were. Oh, my God, they were numb. They were, like, literally numb. My toes were so squished.
Jimmy
You should do a little shoe cam.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. This is my shoes I wore. These are the jeweled slippers. They look like the ones from the movie. They're a recreation from the movie that Nessa Rose wears. And so I wore these. They were comfortable until they weren't. They were, like, squeezing my feet, so I think all the blood was being squeezed out of them. So I was sitting for most of it, but people came over and I tried to, like, sit up and down. It was just, like, a lot of walking. But it was great. Of course. It was wicked. Like, if they're like, do you want to come to New York tomorrow? I'm like, yeah, absolutely. But I think anything else. I'm, like, trying to think. I'm like, God, what other movie?
Oscar
I know. I think that one, too, is really, really big. A lot of them are a lot more like. I mean, in comparison, Chill. Because it's like just the photo section. You. The press line, and then you go in.
Trisha Paytas
So, yeah, that's what they were telling me. All these experienced influencers, like, it's never like this, because even they were like, this is a lot. This is so much. I was super grateful and I was super happy to be there, but. But I. We also didn't get to eat at all. They had. Which is like, fine. But they. So they had, like, charcuterie, which I like. I don't really eat that kind of, like, meat or cheese or whatever. And obviously I didn't eat all day because I was like, whatever. But then there was, like, popcorn, and we were, like, all the way up on the third floor. By the time we got the third floor, we went up the stairs because elevators were like, there's a long line from. So we went up all the way stairs. I'm like, hiking. I'm like, out of breath, but I get. I'm get to the third floor. I was so excited to get popcorn. So we went up there and literally Moses, like, runs. I'm like, run. Because, like, I could tell that the popcorn was, like, running out or whatever. He runs. The person right in front of Moses gets the very last box of popcorn. I know. I was like, no. And I was so hungry. I was like, no. And the person was a fan. I love you. And I was like, do you want to share some of that popcorn? I really was about to say that.
Oscar
Okay, thanks.
Trisha Paytas
Like, so hungry. So dying. So then I was like, well, if you want to sit, like, I'll run and see it. There's some popcorn. And I was like, okay. So then I sat. And that's what I sat next to the guy from. Oh, right behind me was Remi Jo Bader.
Oscar
Bitter.
Trisha Paytas
Yay.
Oscar
We talk about her all the time.
Trisha Paytas
All the time. I saw her. I was like. And literally, like, from here. She was like, right there. She was right there. I was like, oh, my gosh. So it really was like, just like, hi. Like, to so many people. And she was really sweet. And we talked, and I'm like, you look so great. And we saw Jake Shane. He came up to us, which was really cool. He's like. He just had his birthday with Elliot Grange.
Oscar
Sophia Richie Grange.
Trisha Paytas
And yeah, you're here at the Wicked. Was he by himself or did he have someone with him?
Jimmy
There was somebody with him.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, was it okay? He came out. He's. I really love Jake Shane. He's so popular and famous right now, but we love him. And he's always so nice. Like, he really helpful.
Jimmy
He was trying to help. Like, if you need this person and that person living.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah. No, he's literally the sweetest and he. He actually came up to us there. I think I. Ben Platt, I came up to him. So that was, like, really, really nice. Because to go out of your way to say hi to someone is really nice. So he was cool. Like, literally. Influences are very nice. It's giving me, like, a re. Like, my faith is, like, reinstated in these influencers because, like, everyone is super nice. And even though when that rolled her eyes, it was. We were stuck in a thing, so maybe she was like, oh, no, I get it.
Oscar
So no Jonathan Bailey run in?
Trisha Paytas
No. Can I say, I feel like. I feel like my Jonathan Bailey era is, like, coming to an. Only because he's just so massive and popular that I'm just like. There's just never. There's no chance for me. And I'm just. I'm just gonna fold it in right now, I think maybe if he becomes niche again or something, but he's just too mainstream. It's like Justin Bieber, you know, it's like, I guess why I never was fans of a Justin Bieber, even One Direction, because I'm like, this is too massive. There's no way for me to get in there. And I just. I just given up. I've just given up on it, to be honest.
Oscar
I can't tell. It's like, you're genuine or if this is like the weekend again, like, where, you know, if you say you give up, then you'll get the attention. But it's.
Trisha Paytas
I love him so much. And seeing him in person, you know, was amazing. But at least I wasn't, like, crying. Do you know what I mean? That's what I knew. Maybe my. My infatuation's over a little bit. You know what I mean? Because I was like. I thought I was gonna be, like, sobbing hysterically that I couldn't meet him. I was gonna be like, oh, my God. I thought I was gonna break my heart for the rest of the night, but I kind of was just okay with it. I was fine. He's cute. We love him and. But he's just so massive and wonderful.
Jimmy
He was really good in the movie.
Trisha Paytas
Glowing review. He was. You liked it?
Jimmy
Yeah, I loved it. I loved. I mean. I mean, the movie is amazing. I want to see it again. I can't wait to see it again. Like, in the actual theater with the surround system and all that.
Trisha Paytas
We were kind of far back, so the sound. Because it's also not in a movie theater. Dorothy Chandler. What is like. Is that, like, for plays or. What is that for?
Oscar
I have no I think maybe like live. Live shows. Live shows.

CU Amundsen's right next door where we saw Hadestown and like that seems more like a live show. The way these seats were. Even the bottom, it just didn't seem like a place.
Jimmy
I guess it would still have an orchestra. Stuff like that.
Trisha Paytas
That seems maybe more like like an orchestra. Because the way it was like seated was so weird. It was like so high and tall. So like the sound, I mean it.
Jimmy
Looked and sounded good. But you know when you're in a theater and the sound just wraps around you and you're inside of the movie.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Yeah. It's gonna be even better. It was great. Oh my God. I was like crying all over again. Everyone was crying. Everyone's tick tocks were crying movie.
Jimmy
I mean to watch the movie with the number one fans of the Wicked Empire is amazing because it's just like so everyone are just like screaming and crying. You can hear people crying, applauding and it was really.
Trisha Paytas
And the cast stayed, which is really cool. The cast stayed for the whole thing. Yeah, it is. That was the coolest part is because everyone is such super stands. I didn't know like Remy behind us was a super. Even Jake because like, oh my God, what are you doing here? You just had a birthday party with Elliot Grange. Like, why are you here? I literally said that to him. He's like, it's wicked. And I was like, yeah. So it was kind of fierce. Everybody was just like really excited and. Yeah. Just applauding and cheering. And Jonathan Bailey really is amazing. Like, he is great and just so handsome and good looking. But again, it's like the popular jock in high school. It's just like you're never going to get access to that. So just stop, you know, so. But he was beautiful.
Jimmy
How much, like, how funny the movie is. It's really funny and. But I think Ariana Grande stole the show. Like, she is funny. She is so funny. Like, her character, the lines they gave her. And like, I loved it.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, I was. It was really good. I loved all of it. I love it. I love everyone. I can't even pick my favorite because I feel like everyone was so good. Everyone was there except for Bronyang, who was doing snl, but I was like, everyone was there. It was really cool. It was really cool to see everybody and the cast. Oh, Jon Chu was not there because he was having a baby.
Oscar
Yeah, he just had a baby.
Trisha Paytas
It was crazy. He was showing the video before and he was like showing like, literally him in the hospital and it was like his fifth baby, which I didn't. I had no idea. And it was so. It was great. He said he was like, right across the street in a hotel, like, ready to come. And then I guess like, it was going into, like, labor. And I was like, okay. He was really sweet because he's like, you know, I've been waiting years for this moment, for this premiere. He's like, I've been waiting my whole life for this.
Oscar
Oh, that's sweet.
Trisha Paytas
It was really cute. And I was like, oh, I want another baby too. It's so cute. But everything. Yeah, it was. It was cool. Yeah. And everyone was crying. Yeah. I didn't know. I guess I should have done a TikTok after because everyone was recording themselves after the movie. Did you see everyone's like, crying? I was like, why not?
Oscar
This was me before and then after.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, getting to do that.
Oscar
They're just living in the moment because.
Trisha Paytas
I really didn't get any content. I was looking, I was kind of. I got no content from this. But I was living in the moment. From the red carpet to the thing. And seeing all the cast was cool. Like seeing people in person, like all the stars. I don't know what it is about, like, celebrities or movie stars. They just look like, so beautiful.
Oscar
Although.
Trisha Paytas
And I was really far up and I'm kind of blind, but, like, they all looked like I was zooming in on my phone and I was like, wow, they all look like celebrities. You know, they all just look that way. And. And yeah, everyone was loving Ethan Slater and kind of say, I've been on the Ethan Slater bandwagon since the beginning. So, you know, just wanted to put that out there. Ariana looks beautiful. Cynthia look beautiful. They've been, they've been really giving their all in this press tour. They've been staying afterwards. I think I saw Ariana and Cynthia, like, taking pictures with people afterwards. Harry Daniels got to sing to.
Oscar
Yeah, Harry Daniels, who I am kind of like, he's so camp that I'm like, I can't help it. The second I saw is his Getty image because he wore.
Trisha Paytas
He's on Getty Images with his pajamas. How many Getty images?
Oscar
I think just the one.
Trisha Paytas
So, yeah, full body.
Oscar
So that is a pro tip. Like, because I remember when I did the Olivia one because it is like when I did the Livia premiere, like, all the crew guys are just so old school. So, like, like, our. The guy who was doing the videography for me was like, anytime an influencer would come that, like, look really, like, sexy or have like a cool outfit, he'd be like, shooting. He's like, oh, I'm going to shoot B roll. I was like, no, but I'm not going to use that. I don't know who that person is, but he's like, no, but she looks great. You got to get. And I'm like, no, really.
Trisha Paytas
He like, that's so.
Oscar
So I think, like, the more like, outlandish the look, maybe that gets you a little bit more attention too. But yeah, Harry Daniels, he wore a cookie Monster pajama bottoms, a shirt, a pink shirt that said, what was that? Eat, pray, slay or something?
Trisha Paytas
I didn't see.
Oscar
And they had like, a hat on. And his. His sister slash, like, manager Madeline had just got chin lipo. So she had her, like, bandage for her face and she was like. She had a bodycon dress, but then she had her, like, chin, head bandage. And I'm like, honestly, this family, I love them. Like, I really do love them.
Jimmy
And then we saw them the most that night.
Oscar
I bet you did.
Jimmy
We saw them the most and talked to them because it's fun. It's like, you know, it's fun to see people you really know. Well, no, but they were like, bringing.
Trisha Paytas
People over to us. Like, I want you to meet this person.
Oscar
I love it.
Trisha Paytas
Okay, great to meet you. And then I'd be like, in 20 minutes, Trisha, gotta meet Jen. And I was like, okay. It was nice because, like, we didn't have to move. Like, we were kind of in the corner and only because my feet hurt. So we're kind of like in this, like, little corner. And luckily we got a seat because everyone was just like packed in there, like a thousand people. So we did get a seat and I didn't want to give up the seat. So I'm like, standing there the whole time. Moses gets up at some point to get charcuterie. And I was just like, I'm staying here because I don't want to give up the seat.
Oscar
Oh.
Trisha Paytas
And even Ariana came. Everyone rushed to the window. And I wanted you to, but I was like, my feet were killing me. So I was just like, let me just chill. But yeah, then Harry Daniels kept bringing people over.
Oscar
To, you know, he was going to go.
Trisha Paytas
I didn't. I don't know if he, like, Moses thinks his theory is that it was set up for him to do that. I don't think it was. I feel like it was just like a bunch of fans went inside.
Jimmy
I think he's invited. Like, he's invited by the movie.
Oscar
I don't know. Some. You can tell this one, I think, because he was just so, like, in the crowd. I think he was just like, no, because even we texted him and I was like, oh, are you going to sing to Ari? And he's like, oh, I don't know. Like, I'm going to try. So I don't think this set up.
Trisha Paytas
I don't think it was either. I could just tell because I didn't recognize all the other, like, cosplayers were next to her. So I just recognized so many of the fans from the crowd. And it kind of looked like the hallways of the theater. So. Think you just knew how to get to her? I mean, the fans really didn't know, like, where she was going to be. I just. You just knew, like, when you saw, like, a rush going over to her. So I didn't even try because I was just like. Again, I was just like, I don't want to be. You know, also they're all very young, and so I don't want to be like a 36 year old, like, pushing my way through to get to Ariana. I mean, I would have been a slave for sure, but I just don't want to be that person. I was like, well, let me not. But everyone else, like I said, they're young and like, you know, it makes sense and cool. I think if I was like front and center trying to talk to Ariana Grande would have been like, weird. But I wanted to all of them. I thought they were all. It would have been so cool. But yeah, they keep you pretty separate, which makes sense obviously for these. But it was cool to be in the same room. Oh my God. Yeah, that was wild. I did see that. Yeah, it was cool. I was. It was cool to be in the same room as all them and it was cool to watch the movie with them and every time someone came on screen, they applauded and. Yeah. What your favorite, favorite song?
Jimmy
Wow.
Oscar
Wow song.
Jimmy
Cuz every. Every song is like a big. Cuz I've heard them all so it's like a big hit. But you know, defining Gravity is amazing.
Trisha Paytas
Oh my God, that one.
Jimmy
Her voice. I was shocked by her voice.
Trisha Paytas
Cuz you never heard it before?
Jimmy
No, Amazing. Like her voice is just perfect. Just perfect. The whole every song she sings is perfect.
Oscar
Is that Cynthia's? Yeah. Oh my God, she's incredible.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, the Wizard Eye and Defying Gravity are like her big two solo songs. And it's like it's. I mean, it's. It's actually insane. Everyone was crying. It's like, it's. It's also just like beautifully shot and it's like just. She's like. It's like mesmerizing to. It was like that last like Defying Gravity is like the finale of part one and it's just like, just gives you like chills. Everyone's crying and everyone's like cheering. Like people were cheering so much. Like there's so many different layers to that song. And there was cheering like in between the whole thing. Yeah, that's. Defying Gravity is my favorite. Even though, like, I mean, because even in the stage production, it's so good. But seeing it like in the movie version is just like, oh my God. It gives me. It gives me chills. It gets good. But you were also saying like you were surprised. Like Jeff Goldblum was very good.
Jimmy
He was great. He was a perfect cast for his role. Like, perfect cast. Because I'm not his number one fan at all. But. But this role specifically was just perfect for him.
Trisha Paytas
Michelle, yo was so good. Professor. Yeah, popular.
Jimmy
The song was good. I like the songs that we did. Tik Toks too. You're perfect.
Trisha Paytas
You're perfect. You recognize the Little Tik Tok sounds for it. I mean, John the M is amazing. I. I know. We just. I know we're over him.
Jimmy
He was perfect for his character. That was a fun character too. Him. Him and Ariana Grande, they're kind of like mirror image of each other. Kind of like, you know, the Vanity and the. They were funny.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, those were good.
Jimmy
Ethan Slater, well, he didn't do much in this movie. That's why I'm excited to see number two. Because. Because it sounds like from what you told me, everyone has a bigger role in number two.
Trisha Paytas
Spoiling number two for him already. So anyways, number two becomes this.
Jimmy
I'm excited to see his character too.
Trisha Paytas
It becomes so good. So it's. I'm really excited for that. But it was all good. And they're all so good. I know, because we went with like super stands and everyone's like laughing so much and cheering so much. You missed so many of his lines because he had so many good little lines that you couldn't hear. But I feel like they're all so good. But anyways, I'm so excited. I can't wait to see again. I'm gonna go see it the 21st as well. I just want to see it with everybody. It was thousand out of ten night. And honestly, like, getting to see the social media reaction after was. That was the best.
Oscar
It was. I literally was liking every single thing that popped up because it was so sweet. All the courtesies are like, that were just like celebrating you going. I think because it's like, it was so cute. I'm like, I don't know, just maybe. And even like me posting the. That one photo of you going like this. Everyone responded. She's like, I'm so. I'm literally crying. I'm so happy. I was like, as if. I'm like, I don't know you. It's so funny. Yeah, except you're my client. I loved it. I did. I did feel like a publicist or something. I was like, everyone, look, I texted you right away.
Trisha Paytas
I was like, did I only get one wire image? Am I flopping? Like. And you sent me the Shutterstock ones and you were on.
Jimmy
When we saw the beginning of the movie, wasn't Platt the producer?
Trisha Paytas
Mark Platt. Yeah, Mark Platt.
Jimmy
So he was talking about the endeavor of this movie over 20 years it took to get to this point to make the movie. And I felt like the same as, like, Trisha being at the premiere of the movie was the equivalent. Was the equivalent achievement.
Trisha Paytas
It is crazy. There shout out Trisha paytas lover on TikTok. She did an edit of every single time I've ever seen a popular. Popular. Really?
Oscar
Oh, I need to look that up.
Trisha Paytas
And it starts when I. In like 2006. I'm like 18 years old. So it has like an 18 year old church. It has like 22 year old church. It's crazy. I didn't realize how many times I have sang it online.
Jimmy
Like, Jimmy, she did it up, right?
Trisha Paytas
She did the whole edit as if it's like one song of all the different ages of me singing this. It was super cool. So, yes, I also felt like this was 20 years in the making coming and it was really. It was really cool and I was just happy to see, like I said, the reactions from everyone online was very sweet and very nice and it just makes me want to be better. Not to say I feel like I'm accepting like an Oscar award or something right now. But like, I just want to be a better person because honestly, like, I've been trying and I, you know, it's been like a journey and whatever. I'm just like, I just want to stay on these good vibes and make people. People happy because making people happy is a lot better than making people sad and upset.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
So I'm just like, I want to keep these vibes going and I just, I don't know, the fact that people were so happy and I was so happy and I'm like, let's just keep everyone in this happy little bubble. It was really, really wonderful. So thank you guys for all the encouragement and, and it means a lot. I'm gonna get my eye into your head. But I just like, so stupid. But it was just like, oh my God. Oh my God. It's so weird that you need my period or something.
Oscar
You're just like Ari and Cynthia on the press tour.
Jimmy
I'd like to thank my parents, the.
Trisha Paytas
Academy of the Movie, but I, I don't know, I guess like to be recognized also by like Universal and then like also people excited that I was there.
Oscar
No, it's so sweet.
Trisha Paytas
It just was really nice and I just, I'm like, you know, I just like the past like year or two people have been really nice and supportive and it's like, I'm like thankful for like forgiveness and like second chances and all that stuff. And I always just want to keep trying to be like, better and, and thank you guys. Like, the love was crazy. It was really crazy and it was really nice and like seeing it in person. Was really nice. And I don't know, it felt really. I don't know, it just felt really amazing. Like, this, honestly, was, like, the peak of, like, my life, next to giving birth to my children, of course, but it was just. It was really, really cool. So thank you, guys, for just being nice, and thank you. Of course, Universal. Like, I was, like, so in shock by all of it. Like, I'm still, like, in shock by all this. And, like, I really am just trying to be a better person all the time. But, like, honestly, like, this stuff just, like, encourages me to keep going that way. Like, I was talking to Oscar right before. This is, like, just about things in life. And I'm like, I just always want to make sure people are, like, happy, and, you know, I'll, you know, keeping. I don't know, keeping joy in people's lives because there's so much, like, hard in this world. And I just, like, want to keep bringing, like, happiness to people and stuff. And I didn't realize me going to this premiere would bring happiness to people.
Oscar
So sweet.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Oh, my God, that's so weird. Okay, sorry. I know. I literally.
Oscar
No, it's not weird. Literally. It's like, you spent such a good portion of your life, like, passionate about something, and it's, like, the most validating thing in the world, even though obviously it's not like you're starring in the film. Yeah, obviously. But you're, like, just like that. Recognition and validation, even on a small scale for something you love so much. It's like. It is like, it gives you such a fulfillment and, I don't know, makes you feel, like, okay, the world sucks sometimes, but, you know, things are going to be okay.
Trisha Paytas
You know, things are gonna be okay. It feels like I'm like, It gives you also sort of. For me, it feels like I'm on the right path. You always talk about energy if something feels right or if something doesn't feel right. And I've been trying to listen to intuition more these days. Like, if something doesn't feel good or right to me, I'm like, let me just not do it. And so, like, it has felt like a good path. And, yeah, like, I've never been recognized in my life ever. Like, I think people always think I'm, like, being humble or whatever, but I've never gotten invited to a premiere ever, like, or to anything. So it's weird to be invited to not only the screening, but then also to the premiere. And, like, I said, I was really lucky and grateful and thank. And it Was nice that people were nice to me. And yeah, I got so many texts too. Yeah. Tana had texted me. Joshua Robert Collie, who was here, had texted me. Who auditioned for Wicked. Rachel Zegler sent me a DM, said, you look so beautiful. Misha. She DM'd me and said, you look great. Like, so many people. Oh, of course. And Chapel Row commenting on my Wicked pose. Like, how would. I can't even post anything now. I don't ever want to post another Instagram ever again. Because that final one of me with the wire image and then getty image. Sorry, that's why they don't post me. Wire image. She posted. You know, she's like my photos before and has DM me before and it's been like, super sweet and obviously has given me shout outs. And I just. I don't, like. That's another thing I'll never. I don't think I can ever fully fathom that. Like, to me, it just is, like, so surreal. But then she commented, okay, work. And I was like, oh, my God. And, like, Chapel really is, like, my, like, favorite person in the world right now. So that was like. And we had the chapel. Oh, my God, we didn't even have that. We had the chapel on bow and cosplay, but we were missing a wig and a shirt. The wig got delivered literally this morning after I glammed. And I was like, oh, so it'll come next week. It'll be late, but it'll. It'll happen. And then. Then I think I'm gonna wear my chapel outfit, the Pink pony one I was gonna wear on the thing, but I think I'm gonna wear that for my show. Maybe during Pink Christmas or something. I'll wear it. So I was like, it's a really fierce outfit, so maybe I'll wear it there. But it was very nice. I got so many texts and so many people and be like, oh, my God, this is so wonderful. It's cool. Like, I really just didn't think it would be, like, a big deal to anyone. So. Yeah, it was very cool. And probably night of my life again, next to giving birth to my children. That was, like, the best. Yeah, I was really excited and I was. I was even, like. I said, like, I joke about, like, not being interviewed by ET or whatever, but, like, it was cool to see Denny, too. And he was. He's just a really nice person. He's just, like, excited. Yeah.
Oscar
You know, and just so sweet and genuine and just. That's, like, a good vibe. He does really good interviews because his vibe is just so like light. He's easy to talk to. And another one he's like works. He's literally started like working in like the digital department. He like worked. I think he's worked there for like 15 years or 20. A long time since I interned there. And again it's just seeing someone who's like really passionate, works really hard, gets like a where you know, fulfill their dreams. Like you know this. He loves Wicked a lot too. Like he's a Wicked Stan. So he was like so excited. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
And he could tell. But then when he said he's like oh this is like the best thing ever.
Oscar
Yeah. It makes me so happy. I love seeing like other people so passionate and like I don't know, the whole thing just like makes me feel.
Trisha Paytas
Cuz you just need something in life to. Because life can be like just so sad sometimes you get like I start to spiral. Like what is life even about? Life short. And then you die and you leave your kids here and it's like what a depressing world. But then it's like when you have something to get excited about, something that fills you with joy in life. Like it's. And a lot of people don't have that. I always think about that too. I'm like there's a lot of people who don't have like a passion in life and it's like that's sad and I don't know it just trying to find some. Something that makes us all happy and it's cool when a lot of people like it. So anyways, I know we just spent the whole.
Oscar
Well I do have a wicked hot topic and I feel like you know what it is but I feel like.
Trisha Paytas
There'S a lot of wicked hot topics.
Oscar
Well I mean this is like the like the viral one with the dolls.
Jimmy
Yeah.
Oscar
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
Yes.
Oscar
Okay.
Trisha Paytas
Yes.
Oscar
I'm glad that you bought them all because you have an investment on your hands because really? Yes. So this has been viral. So I don't if you guys have somehow missed it. There was a misprint on the Mattel Wicked dolls where it listed a website for an X rated site instead of the movie site. It was on the bottom of the packaging. It said wicked.com and that's an X rated site instead of wicked movie.com.
Trisha Paytas
It'S on the dolls.
Oscar
It's on the packaging like in the box.
Trisha Paytas
I wonder if our dolls have it. We should go check it. You.
Oscar
I think they just issued a recall of the dolls after this became viral. Cuz Again, it's like such a small detail, like who's reading the find print on like the packaging of the, of the dolls? You know, I don't think a lot of people are because they've been on the, in the stores like what, like a month, almost two months now. So someone on Twitter just noticed it and it went viral. Everyone's like, oh my God, how could this have happened? So, yeah, Mattel had to issue a statement apologizing it. Apologizing for it. They said it was a misprint on the packaging and they issued a recall of the dolls. They said, we deeply regret this unfortunate error and immediate action to remedy this. Parents are advised that the misprinted incorrect website is not appropriate for children. And people who have already purchased the dolls are advised to discard the packaging or obscure the link, but.
Trisha Paytas
Obscure, what does that mean?
Oscar
Like, just cross it out?
Jimmy
Yeah, kids don't.
Trisha Paytas
Oh my God. But yeah, it could be worth money if you have it, I guess.
Oscar
Yeah. So as soon as this went viral, there is like all these like scalpers went to like Walmart and Target and stuff and we're trying to like buy the dolls out. So they were removed pretty quickly. So I guess before they were removed from stores because there was like an official recall for the dolls. But some resellers are currently selling them for 100 to 800 when they're originally priced 2499 to 39.99.
Trisha Paytas
With the. Just because it has the thing on that one misprint. Yeah, I guess that becomes a thing, I guess like, like old record player, like vinyls and stuff. They'll be like, oh, it's the Beatles before they.
Oscar
Yeah, it's kind of like a first edition, I guess.
Trisha Paytas
That's so occupying. Who wants it worth more than a rainbow Birkin, to be honest? That is wild. Oh, that's so bad. That's so sad. Especially because it's like such a big collab.
Oscar
I know. Again, it's so small. At least I like, I could see. I don't know. I was gonna say I could see how it can go. I don't know. It is such a small little detail, obviously. It's been on shelves for so long and no one noticed it until like this week. Weekend, but still, that is pretty, pretty bad.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, no, that's. I. I mean, yeah, I don't know who's. Is it Mattel's fault? I guess, obviously.
Oscar
Yes. Yeah. The graphic designer. I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
That's because I just like, that's like. I feel one thing you always double check. Like, I do a lot of online shopping. I feel like you just double check so many times, the address and so how do they not? I don't know. Honest mistake, I guess.
Oscar
Yeah, yeah.
Jimmy
Assumptions, you know, they assume. They're like, oh, I'm sure they have wicked dot com.
Oscar
It's been around forever.
Trisha Paytas

Oscar
Oh, yeah, I forgot about that.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Which is, like, so random. Okay, so it's weird when you're in the theater. They were doing it. They were showing the live. The live footage so you could see everyone on the carpet while you're, like, sitting there or whatever. And it was so weird. So, like, JLO comes in, right. To get her picture taken on, like, Getty Image or whatever, all those, like, you know, cameras. But then she, like, goes out the same way she came in, which is, like, towards the street. Do you think she just, like, had her car waiting there, came into a picture and went back to the car? Because you're supposed to go this way to go to the theater. And she went back towards the car, probably.
Oscar
But that's so random.
Trisha Paytas
That's what I'm saying. I'm like. Because I do. I, like, wouldn't. Don't you come to a movie premiere, obviously to get seen? But, like, don't you want to see the movie? Like, Sarah Paulson brought all her nieces.
Jimmy
Like, from where we were. Then you climb up all the stairs to go up to the theater itself. So maybe they drove her up there, like, because you just drive around.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, do you think she stayed? I don't think she stayed.
Oscar
I don't know. I'm trying to think. Why else would she. Unless she has, like, some kind of, like, deal with Universal. I guess so, like, maybe because she has productions that are going to be Universal. She showed up to support it. But. Yeah. I don't know. Usually I feel like people, like guests especially, just wanted to see it. Like, Blue Ivy and, like, Tina Knowles were there.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
And they didn't do, like, photos or anything. They just went because they wanted to see the movie, you know?
Trisha Paytas
But she still wore pink. Blue Ivy. JLO did not.
Oscar
Oh, my God. I didn't even think about that.
Trisha Paytas
You're right, because the attire was, like, green and pink. And by the way, we got this attire. We didn't know the theme or the. The thing until we got there. That's why Moses was in black and I. My dress was black. Otherwise I would probably gone more on theme. Like Shiz University. No one really went with a theme which was supposed to be their academy, but. But Jayla was, like, the only one that wasn't wearing, like, pink or green. And I was like, I don't think that's a real Wicked stand because even Blue Ivy had pink. Like she wasn't photographed on the carpet but she was photographed inside.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
And she wore pink. So maybe like said maybe she's had a deal or something. Or maybe she didn't stay and watch. I don't know. I didn't see what happened.
Oscar
I don't know either. I'm trying to think because even like Beyonce when she showed up to like the Taylor Swift era's movie premiere, like she's still like people thought she just did the photos, but she ended up staying for the movie. Yeah. At least part of it. Photos of her and the theater.
Trisha Paytas
That's so funny.
Oscar
So yeah. I don't know. But I guess like, like I know definitely stars don't usually a lot of them don't watch themselves in the.
Trisha Paytas
Really?
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
I was so interesting. The Wicked cast does. I guess they just love it.
Oscar
Yeah. I mean they're really like so passionate about it and like going all out to like promote it.
Trisha Paytas
So they all like saying. And Michelle Yeoh did an interview talking about how she had to like sing in front of like Cynthia and Ariana. I'm like, oh God, that'd be so nerve wracking to do. But she's kind of the star of the carpet, to be honest. When she has showed up and everyone looked at her blonde Bob, they're all blonde.
Oscar
Was the. Was a showstopper.
Trisha Paytas
She's kind of like actually so beautiful. I have. Do you know her age? I know it's like rude ask but like is she like in her 60s, 50s? Cuz she looks actually amazing 62.
Oscar
Oh, she looks great.
Trisha Paytas
Oh my God, she looks like amazing. I was watching the movie too. I was like, God, she's like so. Everything about her is beautiful.
Oscar
I love that she won her Oscar when she was older too. That's such a good.
Trisha Paytas
Like how old was she?
Oscar
That was. Was that last year? So she was 60 or 61?
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, I love it. And I used to be the Renee rapper. I'm like old women, they're so bitter. I hate them so much. But you know, as you get older and become an older woman, you're just like appreciate life so much more. And then when you see women thriving and still being like stars and beautiful and wonderful, she might win an Oscar. She might be. Would she be nominated for what? I guess supporting. Oof.
Oscar
I know it's going to be her because. Yeah, yeah. Because they all. I don't know. I think best actress would be Cynthia. Best supporting would be Ariana, so.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Though they don't put two people up in the same category.
Oscar
I don't think so. Like, even with, like, with the other. I'm trying to think the other Oscar movies this year, like, Emilia Perez, is it out? Oh, it's not like, next. I think next week or something. Or maybe this week on Netflix. It's a Selena Gomez one, but it's Carla Sofia Goscon. She's going to be in the running for Best Actress. But then Selena Gomez and Zoe Saldana are both supporting, so that's where it's like. Like, I think Selena went down in the ranking because Zoe is also from the same movie and also in supporting, so it's tough when you have two.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my God, what a crazy year for the Oscars because both lead actors and supporting actress is actually insane.
Oscar
Yeah. It went from, like 0 to 100 because at first it was like, who was going to be in the running. And then all of a sudden, there's a lot coming out at the end of the year, so it's going to be.
Trisha Paytas
I feel bad for everyone else nominated in that category because it's also like, between those people we just mentioned, there's like, no one's gonna stand a chance. I don't know who else is nominated, but I'm sure they're gonna. Damn, it sucks. Cause there's some years where it's like, nobody's good. You know what I mean? In general, no one's getting buzzed. And then it's like, oh, man, you should be nominated that year. Boys, do we know men being nominated?
Oscar
I know Paul Mescal for Gladiator. For Gladiator would be Best Actor. I forget who else. Let me see. It was a lot of. I think Timothy was in there for Wonka. No, not Wonka was last award season.
Trisha Paytas
Was he nominated?
Oscar
I think he. No, he was in the running, though. Like, he was on the short. Shortlist for Wonka. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Wild. It was good.
Oscar
Oh, yeah. A complete unknown for Timothy's. That. The biopic.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, is that out?
Oscar
I don't think it's. A lot of them are like December releases.
Trisha Paytas
Oh.
Oscar
Oh, yeah. Angelina Jolie, Mikey Madison, Tilda Swinton. Fernanda Torres. Yeah, I think it'll be a lot of, like, it'll be a heavy Wicked, a heavy Gladiator. And then Selena with Emilia Prez. I feel like that it'll be hard because there's such big names, you know.
Trisha Paytas
So they better not pull an Oppenheimer and take every Barbie. Every Barbie category. I'm gonna be so annoying.
Oscar
I know.
Trisha Paytas
That's wild. That is actually crazy. Oppenheimer. One of those things is like, what? Who saw it? Did you see it? No.
Oscar
A lot of people did. Yeah. Not me. Not us.
Trisha Paytas
But that's gonna be. Well, wait. We can have someone. It just has to win everything. There's just no. I mean, I haven't seen a million. Press do want to see it, but Wicked is just so big. It's just like, so huge. It's been such a big project, but I guess we'll see. Maybe I'd go to the Oscars. No, I don't think so. I was gonna say when I go to Oscar's red carpet, I just think it's too much. And it's like, yeah, I still don't know what I would do. But, you know, some of these people really do go to all the events. They really go to every single thing. But I guess it's like, I get it. Because I guess you do get to meet people. Like I said, next to the career director and Mac, like, I guess you could. So I guess I get it. It's probably why they're doing so well. Everyone's just like, also.
Oscar
Yeah.
Jimmy
If you're an influencer and TikTok is your. Like, it's content.
Trisha Paytas
I forgot to get any content. I was the worst Tik Toker.
Jimmy
That's why I was filming all the time.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Every shot is just Moses in the background filming me just with my pink phone. Which was very nice of you, by the way, because even when I've, like, been with people who don't necessarily need to be in a photo with me, they still don't like to take photos of me. Like, people would take one photo and you're just like, okay, can you take more Moses? Is there 20? I have to tell them to put the camera. You know what I mean? So it was. Yeah. Damn, that's gonna be crazy. That's gonna be a crazy award season. Oh, God. I'm just not looking forward to. You know, Barry K was supposed to be in Gladiator.
Oscar
Was he really?
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, I think the director said. Or maybe he said. I think he just did an interview. Barry Keoghan and said that he was supposed to be in it, but it was like. Or maybe the director said it and it was a scheduling conflict. He was shooting. Salt, Salt, Salt.
Oscar
Oh, wait, I did see that. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Crazy. I can't imagine Barry Coogan as Gladiator, but pretty amazing, I guess. I mean, he's cute, but maybe he's.
Oscar
One of the, like, like the Joseph Quinn type because it's like they're. They have like these weird little, like, Julius Caesar wigs on. Like, they don't look hot. They look.
Jimmy
But his face fits that kind of old Roman Greek.
Oscar
Yeah, that's true.
Trisha Paytas
He says he hates when people make fun of his face. He's like, it's not nice.
Oscar
Who makes fun of his face?
Trisha Paytas
A lot of people online say that he looks like a rodent or something. You know, people.
Oscar
Oh, he says not in like the complimentary, like, rodent boy.
Trisha Paytas
No, I think he said. I think he said something like, you know, it's not nice when, like people, like the past year, people just called me, like, ugly and that I'm not, like, worthy of some interview he did recently. And he said he doesn't like it when people make fun of his looks, so. Stop it. I think he's so, like, unique looking, but, like, I think he's good looking. I know. I need to get better at that, too. I used to, like, not make fun of people's looks but, like, oh, by him. You know what I mean? Not with Barry. I've always liked Barry, too. I've always been a Barry. But people just need to be nicer to people. But that would have been so crazy. I wonder what part. I wonder who he would have been. Maybe Joseph Quinn's part, because it was like he said someone else came along last minute. Or maybe it was Pedro Pasco. I don't know. Someone was supposed to come along last minute. I just. You're going to go see it, aren't you?
Oscar
Which one?
Trisha Paytas
Gladiator?
Oscar
I don't know. I don't know. I have. I have Wicked tickets. I don't have Gladiator tickets right now, so it kind of depends. It's just not my type of vibe of movie.
Trisha Paytas
But I thought you were excited.
Oscar
I'm excited because I love Pedro Pascal.
Jimmy
Nothing of girls.
Oscar
Yeah. It's not like, girly coded and it's like. And then I saw the trailer. I like the idea, right? Because I was like, oh, Gladiator. Pedro Pascal. He's going to, like, look hot, like in the little, like gladiator skirt or whatever. But then I saw the trailer and then there's like a rhino in it. And then there's like. It's like so violent. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Like Jumanji.
Oscar
Like, so aggressive that I'm like, I don't know if it's really my tea. And I feel like it probably is long and stuff. So I don't know. I don't know if it's really. I like a good, like, light hearted, colorful, a little girly or at least like fun. Like, I'll see a bad, like, movie if it's just like dumb but like fun, you know.
Trisha Paytas
Well, Wicked is the fun one for you.
Oscar
Yeah, I mean, I definitely have Wicked tickets, but yeah, I don't know. We'll see about Gladiator. I'm not, I'm not 100% on it.
Trisha Paytas
Wait, tomorrow Sexiest Man Alive comes out, right? Oh. Do you have any insight and information?
Oscar
Not this year. I had it last year.
Trisha Paytas
How do you not?
Oscar
Because my friend does. My like, friend that I'm really close with doesn't work at people anymore. So I don't have the.
Trisha Paytas
You don't have any contact at People?
Oscar
The guy who interrupted the apple dance, but I don't know if he still.
Trisha Paytas
I don't know.
Oscar
We're on the he said people.
Trisha Paytas
That's iconic. I have to apologize to people too. I feel like people who pay to be in people honestly do it. You know what like, that gets you, that gets you notoriety, that gives you credentials, that gives you verification on Instagram. I would do it. I would pay to do it too. I would pay to be at the red carpet. I'd pay to be in people. Do it. Do what you gotta do. You know what I mean? And here I am being like, oh, my God, you have to pay to be in people. Oh, my God. No, do it. Do it.
Oscar
And love it.
Trisha Paytas
I love that people accept that. You know what I mean? I wish I could be paid to be in something. I wish you pay to be on Variety or something. Like, so my apologies to people. You've always been really great to me. You voted us number one this year.
Oscar
And I love Halloween costume.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, that's crazy. So we love you people, whoever's working there. That's why I love one of these events too. The person I met from Little Shop posted me on the smash was like, you're the real one. Because, you know, and he's. All the people there were just like, what is this? Why are we posting this?
Oscar
So funny.
Trisha Paytas
So anyways, gosh, I wanted to know. I'm so sad. Comes out. We're not going to know. Oh, God. Who is it going to be? You think it's.
Oscar
I think he has a good chance, a really solid chance. Because I'm trying to think who else? Like, I feel like Jonathan Bailey feel like is out because he won Sexiest Fiero. So he. I feel like they wouldn't give him Sexiest Fiero if he was the main cover.
Trisha Paytas
Really? Someone told me that's like, that they can still get it, but. No, you don't think.
Oscar
I don't think so. Because, like, it's like, historically at least, like, it's the main cover. Sexiest man alive. And then they have a million categories where it's like, sexiest influence, influencer, sexiest football player.
Trisha Paytas
You know who's the sexiest influencer?
Oscar
Do you know last year it was. Oh, my God, why am I forgetting his name and what he does? He has, like, a catchphrase. Oh, he has a catchphrase in his car. Oh, my God, Pookie.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, the. The one that's married.
Oscar
I think he's married, right?
Trisha Paytas
Oh, oh, oh, not the. No, they're is two Pookies. There's one that's like, pookie is looking fire tonight. Look at her outfit. That one.
Oscar
Not him. Not him.
Trisha Paytas
You're thinking of the guy like, hey, Pookie, the one that is by himself, talks straight to camera.
Oscar
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
Tall, dark, and handsome.
Oscar
Yes, yes, yes.
Trisha Paytas
I haven't seen him in so long. What's his name? I liked him. Was he married in real life?
Oscar
I have no idea.
Trisha Paytas
He was like the Internet boyfriend, right?
Oscar
He's like, hey, yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah. That's crazy, because there's another Pookie that calls someone Pookie. He's always like, you don't see anybody. Like, this is Pookie's outfit. She's wearing all black tonight.
Oscar
Yes. But he wasn't in sexiest.
Trisha Paytas
He's cute. But I was like, wow, sexy. Okay, who do you think will get it this year for Influencer? Who would you give it to?
Oscar
I mean, take a guess.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, win Hasan, huh? Yes. Because everyone even had Jake here. Like, everyone just like, he's just so bored. Like, he's talking about how he wasn't like, yeah, I feel like he has to win.
Oscar
I think he would be Sexiest Influencer for sure. And then who is Ted Nivison? Maybe second, he is good looking.
Trisha Paytas
I don't know. I just see Hasan everywhere. So I feel like that's the thing.
Oscar
Those would be my two guests. I hope it's not someone like a Noah back, because that's, like, too obvious. You know what I mean? Like, even though.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah.
Jimmy
In the last few years.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
I feel like he would have been on the issue already. Like, he's always doing underwear photo shoots. I'm like, we get it. He's hot. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
I did get invited to a Noah Beck red carpet for that football.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Did it already happen or no?
Oscar
I have no idea. To be invited.
Trisha Paytas
Me.
Oscar
We love it to be said.
Trisha Paytas
Sent me the free merch. They. They love. They love me over there. Yeah, I guess I could see that. Good friend for acting, maybe.
Jimmy
Jake. Jake win it.
Oscar
Oh, yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Because he is a real cutie. He's like, works really hard.
Oscar
He's a heartthrob. Everyone loves.
Trisha Paytas
He is. I feel like, though, you know, like, his type is like, the people. Like, like, he is just so cute. You don't mean. I think that about Jonathan Bailey too, because while he's a super, super attractive, obviously he's not like, like a. Like a Brad Pitt.
Oscar
Do you know, like an intimidating. He's like approachable hot.
Trisha Paytas
Approachable hot. Like, we're just like, oh, he could be your restaurant. Like him, like, kissing that fan on the cheek and him giving, like, looks to the camera. Like, he's just like, very, like, cheeky, funny. He's. He's like the jock that's also like. He's kind of like the Finn Hudson where he's like the jock, but also like sings and dances and sweet and all that stuff like that. So very good looking, obviously, but kind of when you see him, remember that one photo of him, Matt Balmer, and there's like two other people.
Oscar
Yeah. Paul Mescal and Andrew.
Trisha Paytas
Paul Mescal's in that photo?
Oscar
Yeah. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Wait, really? Oh, wow. Okay. Well, he's obviously. They're all so good looking. To me, Jonathan Bailey is like more like boyishly good looking, you know, has a boyish charm. Rather opposed to just like, you know, like, chiseled. I'm so hot, you know, But I mean, he's obviously very hot. But Hasan makes sense. Hasan does look like someone who should model. He's done magazine covers and stuff. Right. Hasn't done, like, King Kong.
Oscar
I don't know. I feel like he'd probably do something intellectual, like a Wired or something. Aren't they, like technological, Techno, maybe? Something like that.
Trisha Paytas
Anyways. Well, that's a good one. I would give it to Moses Hackman.
Oscar
I knew you were gonna say, oh, my God.
Trisha Paytas
I just was really. Thank you again for taking all those photos of me at the premiere. That was really exciting and fun and he really does let me just do my own thing. I just, like, run away and start posing and talking to everyone and buzz just kind of like follows and he's very sweet. Anyone else? I've been with so many people that like, like Literally just get like, get mad if I like, like I don't know, just for any little thing. But I appreciate that. Like oh, you ignored me the whole time or you didn't even talk to me or why was I even there or like that kind of stuff in your.
Jimmy
No. Beside if I wasn't there. Cuz I know nobody else will take the pictures and the videos. You know, it's like.
Trisha Paytas
That's very true.
Jimmy
You kind know who the star is.
Trisha Paytas
Thank you. Of us. Not of the movie. Well, you're also the star, right? You're. You're a co star with me.
Jimmy
There's a difference.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, wow. Dang. I want to know. Sexy smell. I love getting that issue. Damn. We're going to have to wait a whole week.
Oscar
I know it's going to be like.
Trisha Paytas
Stale tea, but that's. I want to. Do you go and buy it?
Oscar
No.
Trisha Paytas
Oh no, I will. I love buying magazines. I really do. I wish I was telling the guy who owned paper for a minute. I was like, I wish they'd bring back print. He's like, yeah, I don't own anything.
Oscar
I like the magazines where it's like a spread like that. Like, but this one like the people sexiest issue. It's like, you know, they wear teachers T shirt, they pose outside. It's not like, you know, it's.
Trisha Paytas
I love that though.
Oscar
It's a vibe I like. I like a more like something fierce, you know? Yeah. Like you're like your shoots are always like conceptual. I like a conceptual kind of shoe.
Trisha Paytas
Right, right, right.
Oscar
Not just like a. You know, I'm a guy. I'm just a guy that's hot and I'm gonna sit here in a shirt, you know.
Trisha Paytas
Did you always wear like a white T shirt or something?
Oscar
Yeah, like a. Always really plain.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, I just really think, I just really think Jonathan, Millie should get it just because I Again, I feel like they never, they never. It's crazy. They never had an out gay man. Like they've never. That's so weird to me. I did a tweet about it. We already talked about it. But I'm like, there's been so many like sexy gay men throughout history that I was just like, how. Or even like a Matt Bomer like you said. He was on that really popular show back in the day. I was like, how did he. Ricky Martin was like the biggest thing in the whole world. Like how does he not get a cover? Like it's very odd and it's been around for a while. So I Feel like very strange. Alan Cummings has never been in it, which I was surprised someone told me.
Oscar
Shocking. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Wait, what? So, I don't know. Let's do it, people. Let's get it together. You think they already shot it? Yes. Oh, we can't change it last minute. Okay. I'm still going down. Should we place a bet?
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. What are we betting?
Oscar
What should we bet?
Trisha Paytas
What's something cool that we both like? I don't know. We don't have to. Bets are so dumb because I always lose and I bet.
Oscar
I don't think I've ever won a bet, ever.
Trisha Paytas
I've never.
Oscar
But are you still waiting? You were going to wager on Jonathan Bailey. I'm gonna wager on Pedro Pascal.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. We'll figure out who is the winner next week.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
How about whoever the winner is, that person gets to. Come on. Just. Trish.
Oscar
Okay. Gee.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
That'S a good bet.
Trisha Paytas
That'd be.
Jimmy
I think, Pedro because. Has the most benefit. SPR move. Because the movie is coming up.
Trisha Paytas
Well, so is Wicked.
Jimmy
Yeah, but he's. He's more of a main character.
Trisha Paytas
Right.
Jimmy
In the movie than Pedro in comparison, like in that whole, you know, gladiator world.
Trisha Paytas
Who's like, the star of Gladiator?
Oscar
Paul Mescal, I guess. But then Pedro Pascal would be, like, right under.
Trisha Paytas
I mean, Jonathan Bailey is the romantic lead of this film. He's like the main lead guy.
Oscar
But I just. He already got, like, a title, so that makes it. Pedro hasn't got any title. Like. Yeah.
Jimmy
And I feel like Wicked is not celebrating the sexiest man, you know.
Trisha Paytas
True.
Jimmy
It was more about the one, not about that. So that's why I just have a feeling Gladiator is about man.
Oscar
Yeah.
Jimmy
Sexy man. You know, it's pr. I'm just thinking pr.
Oscar
You know, he's marketing right now. He's got his marketing house.
Jimmy
There's people behind the scenes moving things around, and they're like, okay, we need this for the movie.
Trisha Paytas
Remember last year it was Patrick Dempsey? Like, why.
Oscar
Yes. Because he was the only one that could. Really. Yes.
Trisha Paytas
What does that mean? He's the only one that could, though.
Oscar
Because Thanksgiving had the. The. Because it was a smaller movie. It had the. They worked with SAG to get the exemption so he could do it. Because Thanksgiving came out okay. Like. Yeah. Around this time. Right. November. So.
Trisha Paytas
Okay.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
That makes so much more sense because I do think he's very attractive, obviously. But I was like, that's so random. Yeah, I love that. I would love to win by default.
Oscar
Another strike.
Trisha Paytas
That was me when I got interviewed by Entertainment Tonight. Danny's like, we can't do interviews. Anyone because it's a strike except YouTubers. I was like, all right, that's so funny. Well, that's going to bring some joy into the world this week.
Oscar
Or controversy, so we'll see.
Trisha Paytas
Even if it's Pedro, I would just support it because he does also seem like a very likable man. And he is very.
Oscar
So sweet.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
As long, like, I feel like if it'd be controversial if it was, like, a Blake show, and I feel like that year was very controversial. Everyone's like, well, where did this come from?
Trisha Paytas
Was he sexing man alive?
Oscar
Yes. I want to say, like, 20. Maybe 2013, 2014.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, that seems like he got a paid. It is people. Maybe he paid to be on the COVID Love people, though. That's so funny. Well, we'll see. Why does someone so random.
Oscar
I know none of our productions who.
Trisha Paytas
Hosted Bill Burr or something like that.
Oscar
Right.
Trisha Paytas
We watched us, and I was like, that's so weird.
Oscar
Should we get into Hot Topics?
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Oh, my God. We're. My cards. I have nothing. Oh, yeah. Oh, wait, no. What time is it? I mean, I. We have an Oscar hot topic. I want to talk about it because I was saving. I want to talk to you about Patreon and what we're gonna do on Patreon. I was like, wait, I want to say this for a main hot topic.
Oscar
So funny.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my God. Shout out Oscar. So I saw you replying to Oscar Crave. That's how I saw it. You're like, oh, my God. Where did you find this? I was like, oh, my God. What is it? So I, like, clicked on the thing. I was like, what did they find? This made me so happy. Like, how you reposted my arms up. I wanted to repost this a thousand times over. I reposted it on my Twitter. Oscar on American Idol. Even Moses is, like, giggling watching this because he's just like, what? What is happening?
Oscar
I literally, like, have this removed from my memory. Like, I forgot about it.
Trisha Paytas
You never talked about this. And I'm like, we are so alike. Because everyone's like, oh, pops up on all these random things. Oscar has popped up on more random shows that I could even count. Like, I'm. I'm so shook. We had. We watch it, like, five times. I'm trying to get every single, like, nuance. Like, what? Oh, he works there. Like, when did he work at American Idol? Like, it was. It seemed like, at first you were a fan, but then Ryan's like, no, this is our worker. And I was like, what is happening? Also didn't know you were Katherine McPhee, Super Stan. I was like, when did that happen? We've talked about it.
Oscar
I was thinking about that, too. I was like. I literally had this memory, like, so suppressed for some reason. I don't know why. Like, I completely forgot I was on American Idol for an episode, but. And yeah, we've Talked about Katherine McPhee A handful of times.
Trisha Paytas
So many times.
Oscar
You never mentioned American Idol a few times. And I've never mentioned. I literally, like, completely forgot that I did this.
Trisha Paytas
How do you forget?
Oscar
I completely forgot.
Trisha Paytas
Is this season two?
Oscar
No, this was the final season. On what? Like, it was like the JLO season, you know, like before, like, when people thought it was over. Right before it moved to ABC. Like, moved from Fox. ABC? What year is that? Maybe like a 2013. No, wait, maybe like 2016 or something. 2017.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
But, yeah, I worked for Ryan Seacrest very briefly. I didn't know you worked for me.
Trisha Paytas
Told this story. I thought you, like, just did his Twitter or something.
Oscar
Yeah, but I like, follow. I had to go with him everywhere to, like, get almost like a Moses. Like, I was like, very much like he had a film, like, you know, behind the scenes, employed. Yes. Very professional.
Trisha Paytas
So you were like his, like. Oh, you were like a social media person.
Oscar
Yeah. So I'd like, get all the content and stuff. So, like, you know, film everything, bake it, bank it and stuff. So I would go with them to American Idol in the two days that they shot the show. And yeah, I remembered that. So I had to sit behind in like, this little, like, control room back, like, on the side of the stage. And it's like the directors there, and that's where like, Ryan like, watches the show, like, as their filming or whatever. And we were in rehearsals and Catherine McPhee, who was. I don't even remember what season she was on season two.
Trisha Paytas
That's why I thought it was. Oh, no, she was season three. It must have been. It must have been season three. Like an early season, because I watched it early se.
Oscar
Maybe four, because it was like, it was later. Yeah. It wasn't like.
Trisha Paytas
Well, she was. Who was her comp.
Oscar
Who was the guy with the gray hair? Taylor Hicks.
Trisha Paytas
I loved him.
Oscar
What age?
Trisha Paytas
Do I make you proud? That was. That was the single or Dancing in the Streets. Like, I loved him. I really did love him.
Oscar
He kind of had a little Elvis vibe. Right. Wasn't that he had, like, a little bluesy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. A little bluesy.
Trisha Paytas
Yes. And because he was young with gray hair once, like, he's. So anyways.
Oscar
Yes. Catherine McPhee in that season. I remember, like, I really campaigned. I was in my political era because I was really campaigning for Cat. I must have been, like, seventh or grade, I think, and I was really campaigning for Kathy McPhee. And then I remember I was just, like, standing backstage and, like, Catherine was rehearsing, and I was like, wow. Like, when I was in seventh grade, like, I, like, really campaigned for her. Like, I brought cookies and made stickers and, like, passed them out at my school so, like, get votes for her to win, because I knew she was the underdog going in.
Trisha Paytas
Wait, really? Oh, my God, that's so funny. And you actually did that?
Oscar
I actually did. I shout out to my parents, actually, the more I think about, I was like, that is really nice because, like, that is such a weird thing. I remember, like, we had to go to, like, the UPS store and, like, print it out on the sticky labels, and then I would cut it out.
Trisha Paytas
And like, wow, Your parents actually seem, like, amazing. Yeah. I feel like I can never compete with them. Like, they would, like, wait for you outside of Taylor Swift concert. I was like, that's so nice.
Oscar
They're the best. Yeah. And, like, I had a lot of hyper fixations as a kid, and they were, like, on board for all of them, I suppose. Yeah. And I remember I was just standing there and, like. Because we had to sit there and watch the rehearsals, whatever. And I was like, oh, that's so funny. And then the director's like, wait, Ryan, did you hear that? And. And then she told them, and he's like, oh, well, he has to go on the show. Like, he has to come out. And I was like, okay, we really.
Trisha Paytas
Ryan. Sequence of that.
Oscar
Yeah. Which was so random. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
It's like a dream. That's like, what I. That's what. Not to make it back real good. But before I do the Wicked premiere, Oscar's like, I feel like one of them's just gonna know you and call you. I'm like, where's Trisha? And I was like, I don't know if that's gonna happen, but that's what you always dream of and it never happens. So this sounds like a dream come true. Wait, what?
Oscar
Okay, it was kind of then. Yeah. Then in the show, like, when they actually filmed the show, Catherine, she performed. I think she sang over the Rainbow, fittingly, because that was like, her big number. And the.
Trisha Paytas
She does sing that one. Really?
Oscar
Yeah. And this is the final season. Season of American Idol, quote, unquote, final. So they had, like, Kelly Clarkson. They had like, all the, like, you know, iconic alums come.
Trisha Paytas
I love that she was. She kind of is the most successful besides KY Clarkson. Right.
Oscar
There's like a Carrie Underwood. There's definitely.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, I forgot she.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, Jennifer Hudson.
Oscar
So there is, like, a lot of, like, staples of the show, but Fantasia was back, too. But, yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah.
Oscar
So I don't know. Catherine was there one day. Anyway, yeah. So I said that, and then, oh, well, he has to come on. And then I. I kind of thought it was a joke. I don't know. I was still kind of like, this is sitting. And then. Yeah, I remember I was like, oh, well, at least I liked my. I liked that sweater I wore. I had a little, like. It was, you know, the brand Wild Fox.
Trisha Paytas
I love them. I love them. Yes.
Oscar
It was from the, like, the outlet sale, so it was like. I remember buying it. $60. Anyway, but you looked so cute.
Trisha Paytas
I told Oscar, I was like, this is like, this is the Oscar I love so much. You're just so cute and happy and excited, and this is you now. But I think because you become more like, you know, you're just more look more like, man. Like, I don't know, you're like a little boy.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
And this one, you know, you're just like a hot guy now. So it's like, you know. But I do think that relatability. I just being this cute little, like, fanboy, that's like, that's the Oscar I would be best friends with.
Oscar
But, you know, it is, like, so random, though. Like, if watching it back, I'm like, what was going on? I don't know. Anyway. But yeah, like, Catherine performs. Ryan's like, oh, we have a surprise. Like, Oscar, come on out. Say your story. And I was like, okay. And then. Yeah, I remember telling her. I was like, I literally told her the story. The sticker said, call Catherine your idol. I thought that was a clever catchphrase. You know, a little play on.
Trisha Paytas
And was she, like, excited?
Oscar
She's like, oh. But that was as long as she came backstage and was like, thank you so much for your support. Which I feel like in retrospect, I'm like, she should have been, like, more gagged, I think, because I don't think anyone else was campaigning for her the way that I was.
Trisha Paytas
She probably was confused.
Oscar
I think she was. I Was also confused too. So that does make sense.
Trisha Paytas
I loved it. Which is so random.
Oscar
So random.
Trisha Paytas
Big finale night. Everyone's here. Like, bring out Oscar and you coming. I was so.
Oscar
I was gagged. I was like. And then I. I think I did a little skip because I was trying to get there quick, you know, Cuz it's like, it's a little bit of a walk. And then I didn't want anyone to, you know, delay the show. It's a live show. So I was like, let me get over there.
Trisha Paytas
So random. Like we were watching, like, wait, how did this happen? Because I didn't catch the first time that you worked there. He's like, oh, he works for us. Or something like that. And I was like, what? And then I was like, I didn't know he was like a super fan of K. Like, I think he's just a super fan of everyone. Like, me too. Like, you need hyper fixation. I think also when it, like, fits, like, I could theoretically be a super fan of anyone because I do love a lot of people. So someone's like, we need a super fan. Like, in the pan. It's like, we need an Ariana Superman. I'm like, oh, I could be an Ariana super fan. Like, I feel like we can just like, turn on the fandom, like, quickly because we, like, love pop culture.
Oscar
You know, with American Idol specifically, I would always pick a girl, and that was like, my girl throughout the whole season. And I was, like, very dedicated to, like, getting them to the top. So Catherine was my girl that season. I always had, you know, Kelly Clarkson. I had a good track record because I always got to, like, at least top three, you know, Kelly.
Trisha Paytas
I was a Justin Guerini fan.
Oscar
No, no, no.
Trisha Paytas
I was like, oh, he's so cute.
Oscar
I had Kelly at Kimberly Locke.
Trisha Paytas
Ooh.
Oscar
Who else was? Oh, Diana Degarmo. Randomly, she became second place on Fantasia season.
Trisha Paytas
Did she marry Ace Young?
Oscar
I have no. Maybe.
Trisha Paytas
They did a tour of Joseph in the amazing dream coat. I saw them at the Pantages and then they're like, oh, they're married. I was like, what?
Oscar
Wow. Good for them.
Trisha Paytas
I love American Idol Lord too.
Oscar
There is. It is crazy. And all this is somewhere deep in my brain. And then it doesn't get like, I like, literally seeing that clip, I was like, how did Oscar crave even find this? I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
It is crazy. Did you ever ask him, like, DM them?
Oscar
No. I don't even know if I want to know the lore of how that clip Resurfaced because I remember I reacted it to it on my YouTube channel, but I privated it because I was like, I privated all my videos from, like, that area, that era, because I was like, I don't know, I was like, cringy and stuff, But I remember I reacted to it, but I'm like, it's definitely private. So I have no idea how he found it.
Trisha Paytas
They're on it. You were Sanjaya.
Oscar
Yeah, I do remember.
Trisha Paytas
Didn't. No, not. Didn't one of them get, like, arrested? Like, there was a really hot guy. It wasn't Sanjay, but it might be on the same season. He got, like, arrested.
Oscar
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
And I was like, I think his.
Oscar
Name is Corey something.
Trisha Paytas
Corey. And didn't he, like, hook up with Paul Abdul?
Oscar
Yes, allegedly, I think. I don't know if that was confirmed.
Trisha Paytas
But yeah, there was almost scandal when I would say, like, oh, just who even remembers any of the guys? But I kind of remember every single person. I was like, oh, I love every single person. I was such a Clay and Rubenstein. I kind of was like, definitely. The patriarchy took over for me when I was a kid because I was always rooting for a guys like Justin, Garween, Clay and Ruben. Like, I was definitely them. I think I loved. Who was the rocker guy with the bald head? I liked him too.
Oscar
Chris Daughtry.
Trisha Paytas
I loved a Chris Daughtry. Did he win? I loved him.
Oscar
No, he didn't win, but it was a big upset. And then, like, he became really successful.
Trisha Paytas
After the show with Daughtry. Loved him. I loved. Who was the one that was. They called him chicken little with the glasses.
Oscar
I forgot his name.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, and he. Did he sing? Oh, no, there's another one that, like. Did he sing the. With a low voice? You know, there was one that didn't look like it.
Oscar
He won. I forget. No, he wasn't Chicken little.
Trisha Paytas
There's a different one.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. There was. I just loved. I really did love all the boys. I think I was like, in this, like, era where I was like, oh, they're also cute. Sanjaya used to have those cool hairs and, like, leaning back. Was in Jaya the best? No, but, like, I really didn't want him to win. I think his sister was on one seat. Like, I was kind of an American. I literally lost track after, like, I don't know, maybe some of the seasons. But I love Fantasia. I did love, like, Jennifer Hudson even then. I remember thinking she was so great. But Simon was very fat phobic on that. Show. So how did he not get canceled over these years?
Oscar
You know, he ended up getting canceled.
Trisha Paytas
For being fat, for being mean, I.
Oscar
Think for being, like, greedy and stuff. And, like. Yeah, because a lot of his, like, clients and, like, look at, like, One Direction and stuff, like, he cared more about, like, the money. I think he said he wished that he, like, like, had the licensing to One Direction so he could still profit off, like, the name of it or something. Then he tried to, like, find the new boy band because he wanted to do it again, but it was a flop. So.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, well, maybe he learned his lesson, and we're all about growth here. And I feel like he. Maybe he's grown because if you watch talent, he's nice to every single act. And I was like, some of the acts are, like, not that great. He's like, this was amazing. You guys are so great. So maybe he's, like, learned his lesson how he's the mean one these days on America's Got Talent. But Simon, I guess it turned over the new leaf, which is good. I guess that's why cancellations are good sometimes, because he's like, I gotta start being nice. And that's better because I remember he would, like, every contestant that was a little bit big. He'd be like, oh, I guess we need a bigger stage this year. Like, he'd always say, like, the meanest stuff. And I was just like, okay, so anyways, too soon.
Jimmy
We don't even know what skeletons he has in the closet. Everyone are.
Trisha Paytas
Well, I guess we do. He said that he came out with One Direction. He want to be the sixth member or something? Something like that. I don't know. I didn't know he started One Direction. Did he start. No. Nicole Scherzinger, I thought did. Isn't that the controversy, or am I just, like, making this up?
Oscar
Well, he, like, after X. X Factor, I think he was signed. They were assigned to Psycho. I want to say S ico. And then that was, like, Simon Cowell's record label. So it was, like, after the show. And he was, like, their mentor, like, during the show, after they were formed. But yeah.
Trisha Paytas
So he didn't really discover them.
Oscar
No, he just, like, was. Helped their career after, I would say, and, like, mentored them throughout the show. Because, like, it was. Yeah, it was like, Nicole Scherzinger helped put them together because they were all solo acts at first, and they put him in, like, oh, no, I think this. This is the group. But then. Yeah, then after X Factor is weird because after it's not like American Idol. It's like there's different divisions. There's like the girls, the boys, the old, like the old people and then the groups. Each judge gets like a group of one of those categories and they mentor them. Like the boys kind of.
Trisha Paytas
I think putting old people separate is kind of fair because it's hard to compete with like One Direction if you're like a 60 year old man. So I guess that's nice, but it's still like hard, I guess, Susan Boyle, I guess that people really liked her. But that's so interesting. I. So I showed God. When we did. We did a really unhinged Patreon video this past Friday. What was the one where we like started watching like One Direction TikTok because.
Oscar
You started with Joey Graceffa's cover. Destroyed my life. And then you wanted to see the. The Coldplay. Viva la Vida.
Trisha Paytas
Keep. That's my favorite TikTok. I want to do it with you one day. I want to dress like them. Like, I want to dress like N. Wait, which part are you doing?
Oscar
I can do Harry because he goes really into it.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. It's so good. It's actually so good. Like even if it's not like on Perfect Pitch or whatever, it makes. Makes me so happy. And it's like a trend on TikTok now where people are like doing the little. No, no, no.
Jimmy
And they're Coldplay.
Oscar
It's cold.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. And it's so cute. It's like them on Actor, so they're all like super young. And yeah, Harry's going like, it's. Everyone's doing like this thing now with the blonde wig. So maybe one day I'll do a Niall cosplay. You can do Harry and I don't know, I don't know if he ever wore pink, but I could look or something if you ever did. Harry definitely has. I guess. I mean, I should do Harry. The Harry lookalike contest.
Oscar
Yeah, that's a perfect segue.
Trisha Paytas
I love these lookalike contests. I hope they have them everywhere. Oscar crave. Doesn't Osc look like that would be so iconic. When we do the gays eating garlic bread in the park, we're gonna do an Oscar lookalike contest. That would be because a lot of people look like you and you look like a lot of people. Remember we talked about this way early on how you like Jack Antonoff. You look like Elliot Grangent. Like you look like all of them.
Oscar
But you're like your condition to look like me is glasses.
Trisha Paytas
Though the Hair. You have the same jawline as a lot of these people. Like, you kind of do the smile. You have a face that kind of looks like. Like a lot of people in a good way, but like, all the hot people. And I think if you had an Oscar look, like. Because this hairy competition, I mean, a lot of people just had long hair.
Oscar
And, like, you look like it was a bootleg. For sure. It was like a bootleg hairy competition.
Trisha Paytas
So when did they do this in London?
Oscar
Yeah, this one was in London. Obviously inspired by the Timothy Chalamet lookalike competition in New York, but then also the Paul Mescal lookalike competition in Dublin.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, I didn't know they had that.
Oscar
Yes, they had another. That Paul Mescal lookalike was the second one that was in Dublin. And so. And the Paul Mesco one was actually pretty good. I mean, for him, I think it's a little bit easier because it's all kind of like. I feel like Timothy is kind of easy. And I don't know, they look like a lot. A lot of people feel like look like them.
Trisha Paytas
Timothy was surprisingly. Because to me, he looks unique. And then when I saw everyone look like, I'm like, well, kind of like a lot of people look like that.
Oscar
So, yeah, Paul mascot, maybe, because everyone was just wearing the little, like, jogging shorts because that's what Paul Mescal wears. And they're in Dublin and he's Irish, so maybe that also had something to do with it too.
Trisha Paytas
He's Irish. God. The Irish are taking over. We called it from the beginning, since St. Patrick's Day this year. Gosh. You told me Adam McIntyre is going on tour. I was like, oh, my God.
Oscar
Irish people are dominant.
Trisha Paytas
That's wild. Oh, my God. Okay. Love it.
Oscar
But yeah, the hairy lookalike competition, I mean, was generous, I will say, because they were the winner. Didn't really look like him that much. The winner's name was ironically Oscar, though, so.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my God.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Do you ever get mad when other people are named Oscar?
Oscar
When they're hotter than me? When there's an Oscar who's hotter than me? I'm like, damn. Because then it's like, I don't know. I feel like they are taking ownership over the Oscar name. You know what I mean?
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
Like Oscar Isaac. I feel like he's. He's an actor. He's also, like, very attractive.
Trisha Paytas
Just hot people are named Oscar or.
Oscar
The, like, meets, I guess, the Oscar Mayer.
Trisha Paytas
Oscar Mayer. That's kind of cool too, though. And the Oscars True.
Oscar
Okay. Yeah, yeah.
Trisha Paytas
My favorite Oscar. Oscars. Oscar the Grouch.
Oscar
Yeah. Tea. I think mine too.
Trisha Paytas
You should dress as a different Oscar every year for Halloween. That's a good idea. I have an agent at ca, his name's Travis and he just says Travis each year. This year he was Travis Barker. The year before he was like a different Travis. Like he always dresses as a Travis.
Oscar
Don't you run out of Travis's though? Like how many are there?
Trisha Paytas
Actually? That's a good question. I think he's been doing it for at least three years. I would be like, okay, yeah.
Oscar
But yeah, the prize for this one was £50. So again very similar to the Timothy competition. And there was different categories of Harry. There was a daddy Harry, quote unquote who was a little bit older. And then there was a blonde Harry.
Trisha Paytas
Well that's not really Harry. That's not at that point.
Oscar
But this one, his name was Keenan and he flew all the way from Toronto to London to compete in this contest. And he said, my whole life I've been told I look like Harry. My natural hair color is more brown. But he was blonde at the time for the competition and the judges did not and crowd did not not agree because he was not among one of the winners.
Trisha Paytas
The crowd needs to be a lot nicer to these people. When people like boo, I'm like, can we not?
Oscar
Well, no one. I don't think, I don't think he got booed.
Trisha Paytas
Who got booed? I thought someone get booed. It wasn't him because I saw a blonde guy get booed.
Oscar
Maybe it was him. Oh, you might be right.
Trisha Paytas
They were apparently in England. Correct me if I'm wrong but apparently like booing is part of. They call it like panto. Like it's part of the. It's. They told me that big brother, like my, my managers over there was like, oh, it's just, it's called panto. Where it's just like it's part of the shirad. Like it's part of the. It means like they like you if they boo you. So maybe that's what it was. I could be way wrong, but that sounds right. Okay. Cuz they're like cuz I got booed every time and no, that means they love you. And I was like what? That's why self evicted cuz everyone booed me and I was like okay, they hate me. And they're like no, that means they like you.
Oscar
Well the daddy Harry did an interview and he said as long as there's no booze. That's the main thing. So he was scared about getting booze.
Trisha Paytas
Is he British or American?
Oscar
He was British. He was 30. A 36 year old.
Trisha Paytas
I think my managers lied to me and they're like. That means they like you.
Oscar
No, but I can see what that makes. Maybe they just get more into it. It's like, not personal. It's just British. Just British.
Trisha Paytas
Ooh, it's just British. Maybe if I go over to England and do a tour, it's. It's just British. Wait, is British with a T? Why am I, like, getting this confused?
Oscar
You just add an R in there.
Trisha Paytas
British, British.
Oscar
British. Oh, B, R, I, T. But can.
Trisha Paytas
You spell British with Trish or. No, I'm looking now. It looks like a cat.
Oscar
P, R, I. Yeah. What do you mean? Yeah, you just add an R. I.
Jimmy
Would say like a braid trick. British.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, British.
Jimmy
British.
Trisha Paytas
It's like if you have a lisp, it's a British. British. But, like, without. Oh, I need a B. Just a B. I need to, like, to reorganize it. Right. Like if I don't need anything.
Jimmy
But it would be Beatrice. Beatrice.
Trisha Paytas
Right. So my name can spell British without a B. I just need a B. And then I could spell British.
Oscar
Right, you need a Br.
Trisha Paytas
No, the R is there. So just put the R before the T and then it's British. Right. So I just need to.
Oscar
I see what you're looking at, right?
Trisha Paytas
Or am I looking at that wrong? British.
Jimmy
If you're moving, there are.
Oscar
Don't you need two eyes?
Trisha Paytas
Well, I'm duplicated anyways. Not important. Not important. Yeah, I thought the winner looked good. He's cute.
Oscar
Yeah, he's cute. I mean, good style. He's. The winner went for a more quote unquote, cozy Harry style styles look and a brown leather jacket and scarf. And then the runner up, Mitch, went full red carpet glam with a red tweed jacket and pearls and they had, like, the messy hair and stuff. And the winner said he claims that he's missed, like, his train before because people would stop him and ask for autographs because they thought he was the real Harry Styles. But I don't know, people on Twitter were really clocking them, though, because it was like they were all dressed little. I mean, they were just quirky, but they were just, like, safe. Yeah. Or like. I don't. Interesting style choices for sure, you know.
Trisha Paytas
Which Harry would you dress as?
Oscar
I love, like, the Coachella. That's like the iconic one. I also love his outfits from his last tour. At the Forum, I think he had like one was like the heart print, like shirt or something with like the big bell bottom pants. I like that one too.
Trisha Paytas
Did he have an opener?
Oscar
I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
You didn't get there for that?
Oscar
No. His first tour, Casey Musgraves open for him, but I don't know if his last one had an opener because I was like, he did a mini residency so I don't know if he did.
Trisha Paytas
That's so fierce. Where's he at? Where does he live?
Oscar
I think he's in England. Yeah. Right now. He's been like low key though, and someone kind of like try to like impersonate him. I mean, like try to make it look like he was a surprise guest because they had like a mask on and glasses and like a hoodie. Like, like Timothy when he made his little surprise appearance, like, oh, is Harry making an appearance appearance here?
Trisha Paytas
But so funny.
Oscar
He didn't. No.
Trisha Paytas
That means he probably didn't know what's going on. I don't think he knew.
Oscar
I don't. I feel like this one was more low key, so I don't know if he would have known. Like the Timothy one was kind of.
Trisha Paytas
Everywhere, just the pop ups everywhere. I love Harry's out but I never became like a fan because same kind of Jonathan Bailey effect where I'm like. It's just. He's just so massive. There's just like no getting. Yeah.
Oscar
I. Maybe that's why I chilled out on Harry because I. I was a Harry Stan. But then it kind of almost like too much competition.
Trisha Paytas
Like we're never going to become friends with him. So. So I kind my fandom. Could I be friends with this person?
Oscar
Honestly, you know, that does make a lot of sense. Yeah. Because I'm trying to think who I stand now and it's all like, everyone.
Trisha Paytas
Loves Ariana because she's definitely that girl where you feel like you could be friends with her because she like talks to everyone and like is very sweet.
Oscar
And very nice to comments and stuff.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. So that's why I feel like that's that, you know, person you could be friends with.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Well, I would like to see a Frankie Grande lookalike competition.
Oscar
That would be interesting.
Trisha Paytas
Even Slater wins. No, just kidding. They're both. I like to see them hug at the carpet. You know what I mean? Like, I love to see it. I love Ethan Slater. I think he's very good looking. I don't think they look alike. I don't think they do. But I liked Frankie Grande's outfit. I thought he looked good. I don't remember what he looked like, really. I guess I never really, like, looked at what he looked like. I think he's very handsome.
Oscar
Yeah. I think he's like. People give him a hard time just because he's very gay. Again, it's like, almost like.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
Like, I kind of. Again, James Charles, if you take away the allegations. Right. But, like, even before that, like, when he was just, like, very femme and gay, like, would get a lot of, like, homophobic stuff, too. And I feel like Frankie gets a lot of that. Yes, Frankie was annoying on Big Brother. Yes. I can admit that. But, yeah, his existence is very. Just like, gay flamboyant. And he gets a lot of flack.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. People like when you just hate on someone's existence outside of, like, you said, like, being. Whatever. Big Brother. I didn't watch it, but I think. Was he on the regular Big Brother?
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Not the celebrity one.
Oscar
No, the regular Big Brother. And no one I remember, like, the one thing is, like, he sat everyone down and he's like, I am a social media superstar. My sister is the Ariana Grande. And, like, people were like, didn't really know him, so they're like, oh, okay. Like, no one really cared that much.
Trisha Paytas
Do you think they thought he was lying?
Oscar
I don't know. Gag. If you clocked out, there was one girl who kind of had a suspicion the whole time, so she, like, kind of validated it.
Trisha Paytas
But how do you have suspicion? Was he just, like.
Oscar
It wasn't Frankie in disguise. It was literally just like, frankly, in his little short shorts and rainbow shirts.
Trisha Paytas
Like, you know, we should have watched that season. I missed it. That's so funny.
Oscar
He got pretty far.
Trisha Paytas
I love that he just went in the normal one.
Oscar
There's one Ariana, like, went into the audience for a live show, and there's one, like, gif of her and she's literally just like, sitting there like this. As they pan to her, she's just like. And she has her ponytail because it's like, classic Ariana. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
So she's like.
Oscar
And everyone's, like, clapping around her and she's just like.
Trisha Paytas
Not like. She's looking down.
Oscar
She's just looking straight, like, I of, like, dead. And her and her little dimples there.
Trisha Paytas
She's just, like, no reaction. Yeah, that's so. Let's say she's supportive. I know they seem supportive of each other. Yeah. I just liked his entrance. I like his thing. That's so funny.
Oscar
I guess that's A good transition. Another gay who we love gay news only our poor Key lawn, AKA Iconic, AKA Terry Jo.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my God. I know. I didn't want to talk about this because I felt really sad about it, but.
Oscar
No, but I like, I think it's a good, like, support and support of Keelan because this is another video that went viral. Keylon was at Shoddy Bay's birthday party, and this video went viral of him getting, like, jumped by, like, three guys. But Keelan went swinging and stood up for himself, stood on business. And I think he took, like. I think if they even security came and kind of pulled them Keel on away, but I think that if that wasn't the case, he would have handled them all. And I love that.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
And he left so fierce, Joe smiling. He's like, you got that on camera? Oh, hey.
Oscar
Yes. Everyone was just like, recording him and he. He was getting escorted out and he was just like, you know, waving to the cameras and stuff. It was fierce.
Trisha Paytas
Why did he get escorted out? Because he got.
Oscar
Exactly. It's so weird. And there's hasn't been any clarity around the situation. There's been, like, speculation. The thing I saw the, like, most often on, like, Twitter and Reddit was that allegedly one of them used the F slur against Keelan. And then that's why. That's kind of what started everything.
Trisha Paytas
But what does that mean? Like, he, like, then he just swung and then they swung back, I guess.
Oscar
But I think it was like, the three. I don't know who. I. I feel like Keelan wouldn't just go swinging. You know what I mean? But, yeah, so I think they definitely.
Trisha Paytas
But were you talking about this? Like, if someone. If someone.
Oscar
Oh, yeah, the Jason Kelsey. It's like fighting words.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. So someone says something so they call you the F word. You can swing at them, which, I mean, I think you should be able to.
Oscar
Yeah. You have, like, a defense in court, if it went to that. But it looked like, because it was the three on one, it kind of looked like they were the ones that were instigating. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Which is also like, I just think if you, like, go three on one. I've never been in, like, a physical fight. Like, hopefully it never happened. But like, if you have to go three on one on someone, I feel like you already kind of, like, lost. Like, you're like, that's like, cowardly. Right. It's like, that's not fair. And it's like, I guess if you want to have, like, a fair fight, I guess. But it's like, also what? Like, also people fighting. I just don't get fighting at all. Like, physical fighting. So crazy. But if you have to be three guys on one, I think that's like, so.
Oscar
Yeah. Especially if you're running your mouth and then you run, all three of you.
Trisha Paytas
Are going to drop.
Oscar
No. And the fact that he ate them up, too, I was like, yeah, you go. I was really proud of him for that, like, standing up for himself. I think there is something to say, like, especially for gay people. It's like, you know, I think a lot of guys think they can just say whatever and that, oh, they're gay. They're like, effeminate or whatever. No, like, we're still guys, you know, so don't underestimate a guy.
Trisha Paytas
But yeah, yeah, that's. That's so. God. Did we talk about this, too? I was, like, talking to someone else about how they, like, I guess I didn't. Like, you don't fully realize until you know someone who's gone through it. Like, I think I talked to me. Maybe it was my glam team where I was, like, asking. Maybe it's because of the situation. And I was asking them. I was like, you know, have you ever been, like, you know, in person? Got like, a hate crime and they're like, in, like, oh, I know. I know where it was. I remember what this was. And, like, everyone had a story of it happening to them. Like, something physical, like, of them. Just, like, even in West Hollywood, there was a guy that. That was doing my makeup, and he was like, yeah. He goes like, literally. I just. Like, in West Hollywood, where you think it's, like, very, like, gay accepting all stuff like that. He was with three of his girlfriends and someone just, like, jumped him, like, going to his car. And it's, like, so wild how often it happens. And, like, you just don't hear about a lot of it. And it doesn't get reported in the news. I don't know why, but it's like, everyone has that story. Like, any one of my gay friends has a story like that. And I was like, that's just like. I don't know. I guess you just don't think about it. And, like, we know key line, obviously. So, like, I can't even imagine, like, that makes me. That's why I was, like, so sad about it, because I was like, that's. He's, like, done nicest, and he's also very, like. At least when I've seen him, I never got on to party with him, but he's, like, very, like, quiet and, like, sweet. So it's like, I can't even imagine, like, for what reason do you call someone that name? And, like, what. You know, like, it just doesn't make any sense. And I'm sure if there was some sort of altercation before, it would have been filmed. It's just like. I don't know. The whole thing is sad. I don't know. People calling people that in 2024 is like, what?
Oscar
I know.
Trisha Paytas
It makes me sad. It's like this whole world. World is like, going to. People are just like. Homophobia is, like, a thing, like, so weird. I don't know. I don't get it. But he did, like you said, he did hold his own, which is, like, nice. It just sucks. Like, had to happen.
Oscar
I know. And it's weird that there were so many people there and there's still, like, no, like, clarity of the situation. Everyone just filmed. That actually kind of bothered me the most because, like, everyone just sitting there filming. I feel like I, like, help someone. You know, if you see three versus one person, it's like, yeah, especially when.
Trisha Paytas
There'S a crowd, like, come in. Well, so that was security that took them out. So there was security. Security there?
Oscar
Yes, Security came, I guess. Like, he. Keelan was on the staircase, and then security was by the front door. Like, the door people. And then they can't. They ran up the stairs quick enough. But again, like, why was Keelan the one kicked out? Like, it was all. It's. I have so many questions. It all doesn't really make sense to me. But I think at the very least, like, you know, helps someone. Like, at the event, the, like, club, the gay club thing I went to on Friday, there was this one, like, little twink that got, like, really drunk, and then he was, like, causing a ruckus. He jumped on the DJ table. He, like, fell and, like, his nose started bleeding. And then one of the bartenders was trying to, like, get him out because he was being bad and, like, he was hiding under a table and he was starting to run. I was like, no, dude, wait. Chill.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, did you?
Oscar
Yeah, I felt cool after. I was like, wow.
Trisha Paytas
He stopped.
Oscar
I stopped. And then the bartender came and was able to get him.
Trisha Paytas
But what did you do? Were you, like, standing in front of him or you're just like, how.
Oscar
He was, like. He was, like, at the table. He got out from under the table and was about to run, and I just, like, put my hand in front. I was like, no, dude, stop. Chill.
Trisha Paytas
Wow.
Oscar
Yeah. I guess, like, the normal thing to do. And like, I don't know. I feel like people not. I wouldn't get my phone out. Like, oh, let me record this.
Trisha Paytas
Definitely. Not that. I don't know what I would do because I'm so scared.
Oscar
You kind of freeze. Right.
Trisha Paytas
And Keelan's my friend. Right. So it's like, if I was there with him, like, it's so scary, especially when there's like, three guys. But I do think, like. I don't know. I don't know, because I don't really, like, massage. Guys should jump in. But I guess if it's guys on guys.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
I don't think a girl.
Oscar
Because even there was a girl that was, like, behind, and she kind of, like, ran down the stairs. I feel like, especially. I don't know. I'd be more scared about a girl. I don't know if that's sexist, but I'd be like, I wouldn't want her to get, you know, put herself in there. I think for. Yeah, as a guy, I definitely would have gotten in there.
Trisha Paytas
So. Yeah, I know the other people are just standing there, I guess, like you said.
Oscar
Yeah. Like, laughing and, like, filming and stuff. I'm like.
Trisha Paytas
I see that on, like, in this, like, streets too. There'll be, like. There was like, this one. It's like, I think she was like an unhoused lady or something like that. She, like, punched a kid in the face. And, like, no one did anything about. They were just, like, filming. And I was like, how are people. I've seen that too. Like, in broad daylight. People just filming instead of helping. It's like, okay, let's not. Not film it. Because also, like, it doesn't need to be out on the Internet. And so I guess it's good, like, to, like, if there's, like, a report and whatever.
Jimmy
But that party, any clip you see, everyone is on their phone streaming live and filming everything. Like, it's not really a party. Like a real social interaction.
Oscar
Yeah.
Jimmy
Everyone are there to film other people or themselves.
Trisha Paytas
Makes me not want to leave my house again. I, like, was so excited to leave my house, and I was like, now I'm scared.
Oscar
Like a house party. Kind of a sh. Bay house party. Party seems a little. I, like, love the girl, but I don't trust the. The crowd. You know, before this, I would have.
Trisha Paytas
Been, like, so excited. But then I think she did do a stream and she was kind of, like, not really, like, defending him. She was kind of like, oh. He was like, A plus one. He wasn't invited, that kind of thing is what I said. And I was like, girl, come on. Like, maybe just don't say anything at all because it's like, whether he's a plus one. He's still in your house, he's still at your party and stuff like that. Yeah, I just. Yes. A house party. I don't think I'm going to. No, but it's not his fault. I mean, you should be able to go to house party and not have to get.
Oscar
Get job. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. He hasn't said anything that's.
Oscar
He's just keeping it moving. Even on his Instagram story. I was like, he ordered, like, Taco Bell and, like, food. He was, like, listening to music on the way home from the party. So he's been just living his life.
Jimmy
Yeah, like the Britney Broski getting shoved.
Oscar
Honestly, Tea.
Jimmy
Because he. I mean, everything I saw was people praising him. Like, look at him. Because when he walked out, he was walking out like a diva. He was like, just waving.
Trisha Paytas
Right, right, right. So she was there. We didn't see her at the premiere. She was. She was. I saw her outfit, but I didn't see her. That's what I'm saying. I think the main influencers came, like, closer to the celebrities. I think they were all there at, like, the same time. So I think, like, the Britney Broskis and everyone was there. So good. We didn't see her. But why did you bring her up? Why did I talk about that? Oh, cuz.
Oscar
Like that.
Jimmy
Even though he's the one that got hit. She got shoved. But he came.
Oscar
There's nothing you don't have to say.
Jimmy
He came on top. Yeah, he came on top. He's the one that everyone are talking about and praising and praising. Yeah. Every. Every tweet I saw and everything, people were like, you know, I think they got.
Trisha Paytas
He got a lot of hate, too. I think there was people like, why did he do this?
Oscar
No, no, I didn't see any hate.
Trisha Paytas
I didn't see anything with the apple dance guy.
Oscar
No, like, Brit, he was saying, like, a comparison. Like, Britney didn't have to make a statement.
Jimmy
So the people that Jim are the guy that.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah, yeah, for sure. I thought you were saying the apple guy got praise. I was like, like, okay, well, I guess that's good too. I don't know. Oh, man. Yeah, that was really sad. Yeah. Well, I'm glad he's keeping it moving. Like, if you can order Taco Bell after. Then he looked fine. Like, when he came not fine, but he looked relatively unfazed for what happened.
Oscar
But yeah, I mean, he did. I feel like if it was. If you had to pick a winner, you know, he definitely.
Trisha Paytas
He's a big dude. Like, I don't know anyone who would mess with him. Like, even three people.
Oscar
It's kind of like the Jason Kelsey thing. It was like that little skinny guy that was trying to start beef with Jason Kelsey and he's like a big guy. It's like, what do you think is going to happen? Weirdo.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, yeah. I was kind of. I'm. I'm on more Team Jason. We talked about that in Patreon. I think More Team Jason. Even though he did use, like the slur back, I feel like overall I'm more Team Jason.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Is provoking for no reason. Well, sexiest man. He should get sexiest influencer. I think Elon is so handsome. Like, outside of Terry Joe, obviously, I think Terry just funny. But outside Terry Joe, he's very handsome. He's very, like, broad and cutesy.
Oscar
Yeah. Tall. Another one that's just like so tall.
Trisha Paytas
So tall. Yeah, I think because I'm like, not. I'm always like, wow, me too. You know, and when you meet like Ted or any of those people, like, wow.
Oscar
Yeah, it is. Especially in like, remember Ted just being like, whoa. Like, same with Keela, actually. It's like they said they almost the lights, you know, it's like, oh, my.
Trisha Paytas
God, we've had a lot of Talio Skeptic. And then I'm like, do you ever get annoyed with people being wild? You're so tall. Because it is crazy. And they're like, they're abnormally tall too. Because like, Leo Skeppy is like six four. I think Ted Niffin was like, six four. Like, that's tall. Like, six foot is tall. But then like six four is like very tall. So. Because they said they're used to it. I guess as a guy, probably not a bad thing to be called tall. I don't know.
Oscar
No, not like. Remember that movie Tall Girl where. Starring Sabrina Carpenter randomly she was so.
Trisha Paytas
Was she the sister?
Oscar
She was tall girls. Little like big sister, but short sister.
Trisha Paytas
That's so funny. Yeah. No, I feel like. But talkers are very. I love tall girls too. I feel like it'd be so fierce because I'm not tall. And I used to like being like short. But I think tall girls are kind of fierce, especially when they're taller than they're a man.
Oscar
I'm like, yeah, like a Zendaya Tom Holland.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah. Are they making a movie together?
Oscar
Yeah, they're in a Christopher Nolan movie. They have two movies that come out.
Trisha Paytas
Wow.
Oscar
Yeah. Because it's next. No, 2026 in July is Christopher Nolan has a movie with the two of them and then the next week they're in Spider Man.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my gosh.
Oscar
So it's a lot. It's going to be a lot of Tom Da in July.
Trisha Paytas
What's the Christopher Nolan movie?
Oscar
He hasn't. They haven't said any, like, plot details. It's allegedly like a vampire kind of movie. But yeah, I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
I want to be in it, I guess.
Oscar
They're still casting so there's still hope.
Trisha Paytas
I want to be in that.
Oscar
It'd be awkward. Like, obviously I like, I love them. I think they'll end up getting married, but it would be so awkward if they end up breaking up because then they have the movie to together and then they have a. Two press tours for two blockbuster movies together.
Trisha Paytas
For the press tour.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Otherwise it's like a Joe Jonas, Demi Lovato situation where they're singing.
Oscar
Yes. And I think they will. I don't know. They seem like endgame to me, but just so just thinking about that possibility, I'm like, oh, that's.
Trisha Paytas
She should be nominated for Challenger. She was so good.
Oscar
I know. I think it just like so much other stuff is coming out now that it kind of got lost and it came out so long ago. But I think it'll get some nominations. Nominations for something. I think for the Golden Globes. I think it's entering like comedy or something. So I think. I think definitely a Globe nomination.
Trisha Paytas
We love the Golden.
Oscar
Yes. I could see you at the Golden Globe for sure.
Trisha Paytas
I would love to go present.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Like, who is this? I wonder, was it the Golden Globes where Billie Eilish is like all these tick tockers. Was it there?
Oscar
No, that was the People's Choice Awards, which is even worse because it's like the people's choice was. Of course there's going to be tick.
Trisha Paytas
Tockers there, you know, that's so funny she said that. That's like, that's like always made. But I guess that's how it is that these things. I guess to keep influencers and celebrities separate for them.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
For the most part. I think that's so funny she said all these tiktokers. I loved the tiktokers there. I guess because I'm a TikTok. I loved them there.
Oscar
I thought it was the Community.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
There's another, like, kind of related to, like, I guess, the Tom Dare hypothetical situation. There's been this, like, viral drama around Outer Banks, which is a show. I watched season one. It's not really an Oscar show, I don't think. It's not really.
Trisha Paytas
For me, it's a Tati Smith, Scotty Sire show because they loved it.
Oscar
That honestly makes so much sense. I remember it does seem that kind of show for them.
Trisha Paytas
When I was in that group, they did, like. I think he did a series based on Outer Banks.
Oscar
Wasn't it on oaf or something? I think he had, like, a. Like a. I think it was before os. Okay.
Trisha Paytas
Because I remember they were, like, filming it, and it was like, a scripted series, and it was supposed to be, like, outer. But maybe they did want to know after. I don't know. That was before I. That was after I left, so. But when I was doing it, I remember they were, like, really obsessed and they were trying to do, like, an Outer bank show.
Oscar
Oh.
Trisha Paytas
And I was like, okay, I don't know what. I don't know what it is. That's all I know it from is them.
Oscar
That's so. It's. Honestly, I don't even really know how to explain it. It's a group of high schoolers in the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Something about treasure. Like they're treasure hunters or something. I don't know. I topped out after season one because I just, like, couldn't keep up with it. It's all very yellow, which I. It kind of.
Trisha Paytas
Okay, cool.
Oscar
Doesn't really sit with my eye. Like. I don't know. It's like they put, like, a yellow filter on everything.
Trisha Paytas
Oh.
Oscar
Oh, yeah. Like, and it's definitely a creative choice. I'm not really sure, I guess, to set the scene, but the yellow. I can't remember.
Trisha Paytas
What is it set? What's the scene? It's setting with yellow?
Oscar
I have no idea. Like, the outer bangs is, like. I don't know. It's, like, beachy. It's like. I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
It's like sepia tone.
Oscar
Yeah, it is kind of like that. But, like, the yellow was kind of like. It's almost like an amber. Like a yellow amber kind of color. It's really weird to me. It's so. Yeah, honestly, it is that tone, so I couldn't really deal with it. But everyone in the show is beautiful, so.
Trisha Paytas
Oh. That's what I always thought. I thought it was like Outer Banks. It reminds me of, like, OC where everyone's just like a hot.
Oscar
Yeah. Like, random teen drama. And, like, it's very. I don't know, this one. It's something with, like, the treasure hunt and stuff. I don't go to the. I know I don't go here. I'm not like an outer bank stand, so don't get mad at me.
Trisha Paytas
Sounds not bad. Like, I don't mind a show about a treasure hunter. It sounds original.
Oscar
Yeah. And like, Madeline Klein. I mean, all of them are. So she's the blonde girl. Like, she's the main blonde girl. She dated Chase Stokes, her co star. She dated Pete Davidson for a little bit.
Trisha Paytas
Wow.
Oscar
But she's beautiful.
Trisha Paytas
Okay.
Oscar
Anyway, but there's been this viral drama because two of the stars of the show, I guess, ended up hating each other. And then I'm going to do a spoiler alert here, so you've been warned. But this is a spoiler alert for the ending of this. That season four, this character got killed off. And then people, the fans think it's because he had started all this drama with his co star who they were like, in the. A relationship in the show. Madison Bailey. Like, their characters were together, but they. And they each have partners in real life, but fans really wanted them together because of them in the show. So it started. It allegedly started this rift when they were filming last year. All of a sudden, like, they unfollowed each other. Like the two star. The two co stars still follow each other, I guess, because they have to. But, like, their partners each unfollowed everyone involved. Oh, yeah.
Trisha Paytas
So.
Oscar
And that became like, it got picked up right away and everyone kind of ran with it. And even in this season of the show, like, they still play a couple in the show, but people have noticed that they use stunt doubles and, like, cuddling scenes when they have to, like, lay on each other because they didn't want to, like, actually be intimate. Allegedly, they didn't want to actually, like, be intimate in the show.
Trisha Paytas
But not even, like, sex scenes. Just, like, laying on.
Oscar
Not even sexy. Yeah. They're literally just, like, laying on each other.
Trisha Paytas
Sounds like something deeper rooted that people know because that's weird. Like their partners unfollow and, like, you can't even, like, lay on each other.
Oscar
Yeah. So that's weird. And like, if you look at the scene, there's like all these. There's like 17 cuts and like a really, like a 30 second scene because everything is tight. Like, you have to go to her face and then you pan down to his face. It cuts Back and forth. Like, there's no shot of them together. Like, why?
Trisha Paytas
So are they, like, honest doubles. Check chest. Like when she's laying.
Oscar
Yes. And then. So they're reshooting basically everything twice. Like, she's shooting with, like, a stunt double for the guy, and then Rudy is shooting with a stun double for the girl. Allegedly. But. And it's so crazy.
Trisha Paytas
It's real. That's not.
Oscar
I do think it's real because they unfollow each other. There's been all this drama before. That's Madison Bailey. She even posted. There's like a tick tock of her from 2023, where because they've been with their partners for a long time. Time. She had to say, like, she yelled at the fans. She's like, you guys have to stop causing this drama for us. Like, I just talked to Rudy. There's no drama with him. There's no drama with my girlfriend. There's no drama with his girlfriend Elaine, so you have to stop. Basically, they felt like, pressured to be together in real life because they were shipped in real life. So it caught. It kind of started this rift.
Trisha Paytas
She has a girlfriend.
Oscar
She has a girlfriend. He has a girlfriend or maybe fiance now.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, that's even stranger.
Oscar
Even stranger. Yes. And his girlfriend was the director's assistant on the show. And the fans have been really mean to her, though, and, like, said that she's, like, leaked photos of him. She.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my God.
Oscar
Keep. Like, she had to defend herself. He had a defender. Like, he kept issuing these statements to go easy on her. She allegedly got fired from her position as the assistant director because the director unfollowed her.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, my gosh.
Oscar
And unfollowed Rudy.
Trisha Paytas
Where's all this tea? I haven't seen anything about this.
Oscar
I saw it everywhere on Twitter because the part two of season four just aired on last week.
Trisha Paytas
So they're clocking it. They're like, yes.
Oscar
And then now everyone's like, these breadcrumbs have been laid throughout the years. And people think that Rudy tried to. Like, he's been wanting to get off the show, that he, like, asked to be written off. And that's why they killed him off, because it didn't really make sense. And they're supposed to be, like, together. They, like, the only thing they would do is, like, shake hands. Like their characters. They wouldn't kiss, kiss or anything.
Trisha Paytas
Wait, they're like, dating and they're shaking hands on the show?
Oscar
Yes. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
So they're like, hi, babe, good to see you. And their hands Would go out.
Oscar
Yeah. There's, like, where they say goodbye and then they shake out. They shake hands.
Trisha Paytas
Why do they do that? That's so weird.
Oscar
So everyone, like, the fans have been like, wow, this is, like, really unprofessional. Like, why couldn't they. Because Madeline. Madeline Klein and Chase Stokes dated each other in real life for years, and they play love interest in the show, and they are still. No. Madeline dated Pete Davidson, but Chase Stokes is dating Kelsey Ballerini, a country singer.
Trisha Paytas
Oh.
Oscar
Everyone's like, how come these, the two stars who dated each other can still play love interest?
Trisha Paytas
Oh, I see. Right. Yeah. Because.
Oscar
But. And then you two, who aren't even, were never dated in real life, you know. Weird.
Trisha Paytas
That is so.
Oscar
Isn't it weird? Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
There must be something more underlying somewhere.
Oscar
Yeah. And that's why, like, there's just all these theories. Like, there's literally no, like, concrete proof of anything. Because literally, it's just like, the fans put pressure to ship these two people in real life. I get that. But then why would you let.
Trisha Paytas
She's queer.
Oscar
She actually has a girlfriend. She's been with her for a while. And he has a girlfriend, maybe fiance. Now they think that he's engaged now.
Trisha Paytas
But he must be trying to get off that show or something. That must be the only thing if he wanted to try to get off of it. Maybe that's what he was doing. Just being difficult or something. That sounds so weird because. Yeah, who would hire him? Like, I would never hire him for a movie if, like, you can't even, like, cuddle with somebody. Like, that's so weird.
Oscar
And a lot of the fans are blaming, like, Elaine, his girlfriend, like, because they think that she was just really jealous. Jealous of how they were. But again, this is all kind of just speculation. There's no, like, hard evidence or statements or anything. People just think because Rudy's girlfriend Elaine unfollowed his co star and his co star's girlfriend, they think that she was the one that was, like, jealous or insecure that the fans like them together so much.
Trisha Paytas
Well, they're just trying to pin it on. They always do. I'm like, the significant other.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Well, there must be something with that person. Kind of sounds like it, I guess. Also, it sounds like, I don't know, people who, like, can't at least cuddle. Like, just an act, you know, we talk about this all the time. I'm like, oh, my God, if you can't, like, act, then it's like, why are you an actor? You know? Like, act like you, like the person. Act like you're having, you know, And I get like.
Oscar
And then I saw a producer, like, give her take on it. She's like a producer that did like the Vampire Diaries and stuff like that. She was like, well, like, as a producer on set, like, it even you can't do anything without people's consent. So, like, she was saying, like, from her experience, like, even if they're, you know, they have kids on a show, like, she has an intimacy coordinator as much as possible possible, like for cuddling scenes, like sex scenes, even, like scenes where, like, if they're on the beach and a kid is in the bathing suit, like, she wants an intimacy coordinator to make sure the parents are okay with everything.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, that's good.
Oscar
And she was like, well, you can't. You can't even make people cuddle if they don't consent to it because it's still like their bodies. So I get that perspective, but I'm like, at the same time, I mean, it just was literally like they were. She was just like laying on him. So, like, they.
Trisha Paytas
Surely they knew this. They know the scripts, right? They know, like, what they signed up for.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Or do they just start kind coddling this last season?
Oscar
No, because I think they've been together since like season one or two.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. So it's like, it's kind of like you. Right. Like, he saw the script. He sees it's all sex heavy and it's like. Well, I think at that point you should consider if you want to do it or not, because otherwise it's not really fair to the show. It's like, that's what's written in there. And yeah, if you don't want to do. If you're not comfortable, fine, but like, give the part to someone else, then that will.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Be totally fine with it. That is kind of odd.
Oscar
Yeah. And he's like one of the main charact. He plays one of the main characters and people were upset that he got killed off. And you guys, if you watch Outer Banks, let me know because this is all like research that I did for like two hours to get to the bottom of it because I tapped out of the show. But people, it was like a. There was like a rumor he was going to get killed off, and people were like, no, there's no way. That makes no sense. So it also kind of came out of left field.
Trisha Paytas
But he wanted to be off.
Oscar
Yeah. People, he, like, did an interview last a couple of months ago where he talked about, like, you know, his experience on the show, it felt like he was leaving because it was like, yeah, it's been a great experience, blah, blah, blah. So people think that he's been wanting to be done with it. It did get renewed for a fifth and final season, so it's ending anyway.
Trisha Paytas
But because he left me, like, well, we can't do the show without him.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Okay, well, what's his name?
Oscar
Rudy Pankow.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, that's his actual name. What's his character name?
Oscar
Oh, my God, I forgot his actual. Oh, jj, I think jj Like Cocomelon. And then Mad Madison Bailey plays Kiara, who is this love interest. But, yeah, it is really weird. And, yeah, started all this controversy. Like, I. Most people were like, yeah. Like, I think especially in comparison to Chase Stokes and Madeline Klein because they were together so long. Chase's girlfriend Kelsey Ballerini also came to.
Trisha Paytas
Set a lot, so she's asked to see what's going on.
Oscar
Well, she was just there because they, like, are always together, so she was on set a lot. Just, like, be supportive, I guess. And obviously, Madeline never made a big drama about that, even though they dated for so long. So people, like, in comparison, it's like, how come those two are fine and these two are causing so much comparisons.
Trisha Paytas
Are the root of all evil. I don't think we need to. Compared to other people, they're like, well, they're fine. Well, they're obviously not. Okay, so let them have their space. I don't know. On one hand, I'm like, okay, they're actors. They should get over. But on the other hand, I guess they set a boundary. I don't know. I'm so torn between mental health and professionalism. I don't know.
Oscar
What would you do if Moses like, oh, no, you can't do a cuddle scene with Jonathan Bailey. Would you get a stunt double?
Trisha Paytas
That's the tough question. I'm just thinking about it. No, no, we won. No, no, wait. Especially Bailey. I'm gonna be like, I will do.
Oscar
It's kind of similar, right? Because she is queer. She has a girlfriend.
Trisha Paytas
Right.
Oscar
You know, but it's just like, you know, the fans really ship you and Jonathan Bailey for some reason. I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
And in this case, I'm a professional, and I would cuddle all day long.
Jimmy
I would say that. I would say no to Ethan Slater.
Trisha Paytas
Really? Ethan Slater is hetero. So you'd rather me cuddle with him than Jonathan Bailey?
Jimmy
No, that's what I said.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, you said you'd rather Jonathan Bailey. Oh, because he's hot or because he's hetero?
Jimmy
Because there's a chance.
Oscar
I see.
Trisha Paytas
This has a swag to him for sure. He's.
Oscar
So you would have a stunt double. She had a cuddle with Ethan Slater.
Jimmy
Yeah.
Oscar
Okay.
Trisha Paytas
Where'd you know?
Jimmy
What?
Trisha Paytas
You would not.
Oscar
Well, now that he knows it's an option, I know.
Trisha Paytas
No, I feel like, no. My chance. Oh, my God. If I'm, like, in the Wicked movie and it's like, Challengers with Ethan Slater and Jonathan Bailey, I'm going to definitely cuddle both. Even the makeup scene. If Tom Holland is okay with Zendaya making out. Mike feist and Josh O'Connor, Chalamet and Doom. That's the most secure dude in the whole world, I think, because it's like, at the end of the day, is acting, and it's like. Like I'm flipping it around. Like, we always do this. I like Moses, right? Like, he gets a big movie and it's like he has to make out with. I'd be like, it's a big movie. You know what I mean? Like, okay, you're gonna. If you gonna leave me for that person, I guess that's just gonna happen. Like, there's nothing I can do to stop that. You know what I mean? I don't know. It just is, like, So I always think it's silly. I always think it's silly when someone's like, I'm not gonna, like, kiss someone. Because I'm like, well, if it's in the role, it's weird. It's like, I guess if you're, like, outside of filming, like, the Menendez brother with his mom or whatever, that's kind of weird because you're not filming.
Oscar
Yeah, but I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
I just think acting is acting. But I. Did I talk about this, too. I'm like, but is it because you have to feel some type of emotion? So then are you just acting? I don't know.
Oscar
I. To me, it is. Especially, again, looking at Madeline and Chase, I think that's a good example, like, especially, like, on that set. So I don't know. I was kind of just like, that's weird. Of Rudy. Especially because it's not like, everyone is a huge name from the show. It's like, what do you really have lined up after this? You know, like, it's a really good paycheck. It's like a really big, big show on Netflix. So I was like, wow, you would really, like, jeopardize that? I don't know. But I guess it's if his girlfriend was uncomfortable, I guess that is good on him to, like, you know, respect her.
Trisha Paytas
I guess I just don't know. That's not cool of that girl. Because it's like your big chance, right? Like, it must have had a big chance if I had a big chance. It's like, oh, it's the idol to starting the weekend. It's like, this is my moment. You know, I've waited my whole life. It's like, so weird to be like, don't. Because I also just feel like neither one of us would be inside insecure about it because I like, again, if he, like, want to leave me for someone, I'm like, I guess it just happened. Like, it's not going to be me being. No. If anything, I think it pushes away someone more. Like, if it was like, you absolutely can't do it, like, maybe I'd be like, maybe I wouldn't. But then I'd have resentment for the rest of my life. I'd be like, well, you never let me do the weekend. The idol too. You know what I mean?
Oscar
Yeah. And I get it would be. Even if she is insecure, I would get it because it is annoying if, like, fans like this other girl with their boyfriend instead of you. So that is annoying. But also, like, if she's queer as kind of like, maybe just don't look at the comments. You know what I mean? That's like at some point you got to just tap out and like, you know, put your filters on Instagram so you don't get like the name, like the certain words on there and just kind of call it a day, you know?
Trisha Paytas
I think that's the way to go. It is weird. Something seems deeper rooted with this.
Oscar
There has to be something more. And like, I. This feel like I just love like a little on set little debacle like the Harry Styles, like Olivia Wilde1. Don't worry, darling.
Trisha Paytas
I wish I was more involved in that. I can't. I don't remember that time.
Oscar
Oh, my God, I love that song.
Trisha Paytas
Was it 2022? What year is that? 2020.
Oscar
Was it 2020? It must have been 2022. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Like pregnant and out of it. I was out of the drama because.
Oscar
Yeah, it was before. It was before, like, we did the podcast, right.
Trisha Paytas
I just don't remember, like, any of it until we watched the movie and I was like, oh, I kind of remember. There was something about it. And then I started, like, following it more where he was, like, serving her papers and all of a Sudden I was like, what is happening?
Oscar
Yeah, that was crazy. And then Florence Pugh wasn't doing the prize and stuff. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
And didn't like Chris Pine spit on Harry Styles or something.
Oscar
Yeah. It was proof that he didn't. But everyone ran with it.
Trisha Paytas
I remember, like chaos. And I had no idea what was happening with any of it. And then I made me want to see the movie and then I really liked the movie. I was like, it's a pretty good movie. It worked if it was a marketing strategy, because I definitely saw it. Harrison's a good actor. He would have been a good Elvis too. I know. He was like, up for it. He would have been a good one. Austin Butler was great, though. Austin Butler's not doing anything, is he? Where's he at?
Oscar
He's filming something right now. I forgot who he's. It's like a big movie though. It's with someone else. Who's is it with? Now it's gonna bug me because I'm forgetting, but it's with another name. No, he just got cast into something big. I don't know what it was.
Trisha Paytas
I haven't heard it. Thing about.
Oscar
Oh, upcoming. Let me see.
Jimmy
Was it. What was Pirates was the last thing he was working on.
Trisha Paytas
If that's happening. That would be crazy.
Oscar
I think that was still alleged. That's not confirmed. Yeah, it was like a. I would.
Trisha Paytas
Love if he was in that one.
Oscar
He got casted in something big with someone else, but I forget who really. But he has a couple movies. He has. He has four movies. Five movies that are in production and pre production right now.
Trisha Paytas
Okay. He's busy, so. Yeah, he's been in huge movies. I guess he deserves it break too. But.
Oscar
Yeah, I mean, he's still doing his thing too.
Trisha Paytas
He's very handsome. I'm attractive. People in this world shout out to Addison Ray and I'm a Chamberlain. I opened my Instagram this day and it literally was like Emma Chamberlain's butt, which was like gorge. Like butt reveal. It was for a campaign. Some like high fashion campaign she's doing. Did you see it?
Oscar
No.
Trisha Paytas
It turned naked with just purse and I was like, oh, wait. Oh my God. Body so tea. I want. I don't know what the brand. To me it looked like. It looked like a Bottega, but I don't think it was Bottega. It was something I didn't know she's.
Oscar
With a Louis Vuitton. I wonder if it was.
Trisha Paytas
I don't think it was Louie. It was so. Oh, my God. It was. I was mesmerized. It's like this girl with, like, the yellow bag. Is it? Yeah. She looks so good. I was like, I love this age of it girls coming back, just being so hot because, like, Emma Chamberlain to me is like this, like, you know, quirky, like, little, like, nerdy girl. Right, Whatever. That's how I think of her. I guess now she's like high fashion. But then I saw that, I was like, oh, my God, she looked.
Oscar
Oh, interesting. I guess it's. He's a stylist now, fashion designer. And he also is Sabrina Carpenter, stylist.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, really?
Oscar
And Emma is like, guess because all his photos are Emma and Sabrina.
Trisha Paytas
Love that. Damn.
Oscar
That's crazy.
Trisha Paytas
Was. Is it like his designer. That purse or something was his.
Oscar
Yeah. Now that's his new line. That's fierce.
Trisha Paytas
She was gorgeous. And then right below it was Addison Rae. And I was like, I just wrote like, oh, my God, I'm so glad the world has you in it. Like, she looks so good. She's like, in a see through black lace, like, body suit. She looked so good. I forgot the caption too. The caption was something fierce. And I was like, I love this girl so much. Like, I just love this era of, like, beautiful it girls, like, coming back. Like, it makes me so happy. And I just. I don't know, I think we, like, missed out on these, like, girls just, like, owning, like, everything that is about, like, femininity and sexiness and everything. I just. I love it so much.
Oscar
Oh, yeah, she does look gorge.
Trisha Paytas
What is it? What's the caption?
Oscar
I love the edge. I feel safe here.
Trisha Paytas
Love it. It sounds like a Lady Gaga song.
Oscar
I know. It does sound like it would be some kind of lyric.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
Is that from Aquamarine? No.
Trisha Paytas
Maybe she's fierce. I love her. That was my feed today and I'm Made me so happy. Right before, I was like, wow, they're so beautiful in every single way. And I want them on the podcast. We love fierce Girls, I guess.
Oscar
Speaking of fierce Girls, should we end on Brianna chicken fr.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah. This is all over my.
Oscar
I see it. Literally. It's all over Tik tok, Twitter, all over the news sites. It really became a big thing.
Trisha Paytas
I did DM Brianna. She DM me back ot. I was like, girl, I know we ain't always see eye to eye, but, like, because this was when it first happened, I'm like. Because I didn't even see the BFFs. I don't think it was out. I think it was just like the teaser. And I was just like, hope you're doing okay.
Oscar
Like, I know, because it is a lot. Especially the amount of media attention, too. I feel like that is, like, really overwhelming.
Trisha Paytas
I just didn't realize this guy was, like, so famous, honestly.
Oscar
And I still cannot really process it. I still can't process it.
Trisha Paytas
I don't get it. And how he had, like, has all his money. I'm just like. And all these girls and why is he so awful? And I'm just like this. It's always. I know we weren't going to call people ugly, so we're not going to. But always the. Yeah. The not sexiest man. What if he's sexiest man alive tomorrow? They can't report the issue. Like, the sexiest country cheater. That would be so wild. Like, I just don't get hit. I just don't. I don't get this at all. I don't get all of it. But. Yeah, but I love Brianna. I love. I love a good exposed video on a guy. I feel like I was, like, doing this, like, 10 years ago. And I think some guys just need to call. I regret some of it. Trust me, I do. Because I'm like, oh, maybe look messy. But some guys, when I. Guys are awful. Guys are awful and they should be called out, you know?
Oscar
Yeah. And I think Brianna, I mean, even she said, like, it wasn't technically an exposed video. She said she has a lot of stuff that she could do. And she was. I feel like she just kind of like, you know, it was like, scratching the surface.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah. You guys think that was an exposed video? She's like, oh, no, that was just me telling what the story was, like, setting the scene. I was like, that's wild. There's more.
Oscar
Yeah. And I guess, I mean, there's a lot that came out of her talking about Zach on bff. But I guess the main thing is that Zach, Brian allegedly, I guess, offered her 12 million. $12 million NDA after the breakup. And again, it is crazy that I guess he has that much money. And then people were saying, well, he does stadium tours. And, you know, he would make like, millions from. You know, I think people said he made like 3 million from his, like, each night performing or something.
Trisha Paytas
Each night?
Oscar
Yeah. Because even, like, a Taylor, I think she makes like. I think it was like 10 million a night and she has a stadium tour. So I guess that kind of makes.
Trisha Paytas
Sense on a stadium tour. Sophie the Delusion. I'm, like, so excited. Let's go. That's you know what? Not to get sidetracked real quick, but like I looked up for some reason like the Ovon, I looked up his touring. He's playing like 18,000 seat theater.
Oscar
I believe arena is like, what? Like you believe it?
Trisha Paytas
Okay, man. All right. So Zach Bryant offering 12 million. It's also like, you know, you're saying when you are offering that much to keep quiet. Like, also, who said. Who tries to silence someone after a breakup, right? Like that's kind of awesome. Weird. Obviously someone who's done really things.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
If this is like scratching the surface, it's like, yikes.
Oscar
Like, and she said that she would have had to sign all her experiences, everything that she is away to this person and that his team would have been monitoring, monitoring everything that she does and the money would have been given to her over the course of three years. But I love that she like wanted to make a statement. She's like. And she's real for admitting she thought about it. And then she's like, you know what? No, I'm to be someone. I'm going to be established, I'm going to be successful after him. Maybe I'm not going to be selling out stadiums and making hundreds of millions of dollars, but I'm all right where I'm at. I don't want the blood money, which is tea.
Trisha Paytas
I think I would have taken it.
Oscar
Really?
Trisha Paytas
Would you have not? I.
Oscar
No, I would take it. But like I'm thinking about my like my financial situation versus Brianna's. I guess even for Brianna, I mean $12 million for anyone is a lot me right now.
Trisha Paytas
I still would take the money, I guess. Oh, it's so hard because it's also like if that's like an evil person, like maybe I would want to like make it my like life's mission to let people know. And I wish she would honestly, like look again, whatever is like good for her mental health and like her peace or whatever. But like if someone. It just sounds like he's like really either. I don't know. It's hard to describe if he's like an actual evil person or it does also sound like he just has a really big issue with alcohol. So I'm like, is he just like an alcoholic that's just like can't control himself? Which obviously like you need control yourself. But like is that because everything seems to be like around drinking and being drunk. Like she makes a lot of references to that. So I'm like, does he just have a problem or is he actual like evil guy?
Oscar
I Think he probably has some kind of narcissist. He's definitely a narcissist. So he has some kind of psychological, like, narcissism. Something Brana would talk about how, like, he would emotionally control her. Like, she couldn't listen to other, like, singers songs. Like, she couldn't listen to Noah Kahan, who is supposed to be, like, friends with him. He's another, like, he's like a folky kind of singer. Also, like, really popular, like the name. And so it is that weird, like, control thing.
Trisha Paytas
Because I guess if that was just like, controlling me, I take the 12 million. But if he's, like, being, like, abusive and he's like an actual evil person, then I'd want to expose him. I think the way, by the way, should clarify. Like, I think she's like, so morally, like, all of us are like, wow, she really, like, turned down $12 million. Like, that's amazing. Yeah, I think that's like, the most amazing thing. I think it's good to speak your truth. But, like, if it was me and even in the thing I am now is like, I to make $12 million, like, I don't even know. Like, o f aside, I don't think I've ever made $12 million in, like, the years that I've been on YouTube. Maybe I didn't spend a lot of music videos, but I have no money to show for. I would take it right now. I would have taken it. Unless again, I guess it was something so evil. And I was like, oh, you should. It should be known.
Oscar
Yeah, I guess. But it's also like, the fact that she is, like, a podcaster entertainer and that this is like, like so much of her life experience and her job is like, her life too. So to have that fear for the rest of your life, you know what I mean? Like, oh, like, I can't slip up or anything.
Trisha Paytas
Right.
Oscar
And that also maybe, you know what I mean? Like, it obviously, like, she would get the 12 million over three years, but then who knows? Like, if she slips up once here or there. She talks a lot. Just because that's her job. Yeah. Like, who knows what is in that contract?
Trisha Paytas
You know what? Yeah. In that case. Yeah. Because there's nothing more, like, therapeutic than being able to. Even if it's like, here or there, even if it doesn't consume your life. Talking about a guy being to you. Because there's guys that. When I was 18, I still love talking about it here and there because there's something just like a little bit therapeutic about it because someone else went through that same experience, or you can just talk about it and not feel scared of them anymore or something like that and, like, gives you. Gives you some sort of power and control the situation. It's like, no, actually, what you do is really, like, I think it should be talked about because that's not fair. So especially someone with Zach Ryan, with so much power and, like, influence and everything he did do to her, like, is actually awful and terrible. I've actually never been in a relationship like that. Like, that's. It's something I can't even fathom. Like, someone's so controlling and so, like, I don't know. Especially Brianna, like, she said is like, what we've seen from her on podcasts and social media is like, she's not like, a quiet girl. She's not someone who's, like, a submissive girl. So for her to just be like that with this guy is, like, so, like, surprising to me because she has, like. She is, like. I don't know the right to say. Like, she has a loud. Like a loud mouth, like, a lot of personality. And honestly, online, so it's like, how does someone like that let, like, this guy do it? But I guess that goes to show, like, these guys just, like, take over the emotional, like, control and. But that's what I had said to, like, while I'm, like, it really feels like she was going through something, obviously something so deep because I'm like, the way she would, like, talk online, it was like she couldn't control something in her personal life. So she was trying to be, like, this person, like, lashing out online. It was very, very odd. But it does make, like, a lot of sense now because that just doesn't seem like who she is to take that kind of abuse. But I guess she just was in that cycle and I know how to get out of it.
Oscar
Yeah. And it's. He just sounds like such a terrible person, too, because the way that he, like, love bombed her at first and like, after she said they were, like, met for three days and went camping, and all of a sudden he's getting her tattooed on him. And, like, you know, you get. You feel like it's going to be forever based on how he treats her. But then, like, the way that he would, like, unfollow her and, like, block her when they were dating and then refollow her again. It's so weird and, like, so manipulative. It's. I. And the other thing, too, is, like, his whole thing, right? He's like a son. He's a songwriter. He's like a poet with words. Like, he's like, such a soft guy. And that's like his whole career. So part of me was like, damn, like, how does you come back from that? But then at the same time, like, he's a guy. He did release a song after Brianna came out about this.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, really?
Oscar
Yeah. And it's. It's like something about life's been hard right now, so I'm going to release this song or whatever, and I'm just like. And I really. It's unfortunate, but that's kind of what it takes, right? He's going to release a song that everyone's going to like. And people like, oh, he's so troubled and sad. Like, I feel bad for him and. Yeah, and he'll bounce back, whatever. So that's why I am also extra proud of Brianna, because then she can also. She's almost too classy because I feel like she won't really be honest as much, but Dave will. We at least we know that.
Trisha Paytas
I know we go back and forth with him, but I think in this situation, we're kind of like, this is why I have this. As for Dave, I'm like, I kind of love that she has this, like, man in her life to, like, stick up against his other man. Because at the end of the day, like, it does suck. But, like, and I've known this from experience, whenever you have, like, a man on your side, people, like, listen to you more, take you more seriously. It becomes more aggressive. If it was just Brian Aversa, Zach Bryan, like, Zach Sands could, like, destroy her. But I think because she also has.
Oscar
Dave, it's like, who has witnessed so.
Trisha Paytas
Much to witness so much, has firsthand experience. I've quiet about so much. Has done, like, two diss tracks on this person. Like, it is actually amazing and remarkable. And he's always said, I mean, and Grace too, Like, they never liked him, like, from the beginning. And I do feel for Brianna where you're kind of like, blinded either by love or just a lifestyle. Because she said. I think she said it herself, that she probably would have never gotten out of it if it wasn't. If he didn't, like, pull the plug. So I think that's, like, it all worked out. But, like, for all your friends to dislike this person and Dave and the stories he tells is just, like, so wild. And she did clarify. A lot of people were like. And I thought that too. I was like, well, maybe like, Dave gave her some Money to be like, don't take the money.
Oscar
Oh, yeah, he gave her $10 million to.
Trisha Paytas
Because he has a lot of money. I would think that.
Oscar
I wouldn't think that. No. Because I think that's just like, where else would she go to say that BFS makes the most sense for her to go and do that?
Trisha Paytas
And for me, it was more my mentality. Like, let's say someone offered you that money and I was deporting always, like, rich or something like that. And I'd be like, oh, I'll give you 10 million to not do that.
Oscar
I see.
Trisha Paytas
You know what I mean? Like, it's. It's almost like I think I've done that before in a situation. I'm trying to think. But it's basically like, if someone offers you something else, I'll give you money to not do that thing.
Oscar
You know what I mean?
Trisha Paytas
Just because, like, if it's about the money, then I'll do it. So that's how I would look at it. Not to necessarily have a towel all on the thing, but just to be. Especially if she was going back and forth. I think she told him she was kind of, like, thinking about it and not, you know what?
Oscar
I see, I see. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
But I don't know. But she clarified. She did. She didn't. Which makes it even classier. I was like, girl, that's wild. That's crazy. But good. Honestly, good. And that way doesn't happen because she said, I guess it's like a pattern that he does this with, like, all. Which makes sense because you don't hear anything about his past relationships ever. They never talk about it.
Oscar
Like, his first, he was married, right? They got his wife. His first wife that was, like, deployed when he wanted to break up with her. And then the second, his, like, last girlfriend, she didn't really say anything afterwards because she. He, like, went from her to Brianna, like, right away, and no one really heard from her. So I guess that what everyone is inferring is that they signed some kind of NDA or whatever.
Trisha Paytas
But, like, broncos and dogs and houses and stuff. It's so weird.
Oscar
So weird pattern. Same timeline.
Trisha Paytas
And you know what? There will be a girl after this that he'll find on Ryan. They'll be like, oh, my God, we're going to date. And they're going to get, I never been love bombed. Have you? I've never had that happen.
Oscar
No. No. That's so rare.
Trisha Paytas
How would you know? I would just think, oh, that person really loves me. Yeah, I guess if it's too soon. Too much too soon. I think I'm the love bomber. I think I love bomb people.
Oscar
Actually. I don't know if I got. I got. I guess maybe on a really light scale. Like, I remember I would date. There was one guy dated who was, like, obsessed with me for like a week and then kind of, like, ghosted. So I guess in that way, maybe.
Trisha Paytas
What happened?
Oscar
Good question. I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
Guys are so weird. I don't understand, like, how that has happened to me, too. I've had people not, like, obsessed with me, but I had people, like, really into me, like, never hear from them.
Oscar
And like, out of nowhere, I guess that is, like, degree. But it wasn't as intense because also it was like. I don't know, we. It was the beginning stage.
Trisha Paytas
Right.
Oscar
I guess that is kind of love bombing, now that I'm saying it. But yeah, it didn't. I feel like it was a lighter scale because it wasn't as intense as, like, you know, Brianna's situation. So, like, no tattoos, you know, so, like.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, it is. It is odd. Yeah. I don't think I've ever. I've always been very, like, love me, where I'm like, I want to marry you. But I don't ever think of it as, like, manipulation. I think I just really love the people. People instantly.
Oscar
Yeah. I wanted to, like, keep them. I don't know.
Trisha Paytas
It usually scares people away, though, so it doesn't work in my favor. I guess maybe men to girls is different. Or men to men. I don't know. I guess when girls do it to guys, they're not as scared.
Oscar
I guess it also depends on, like, the receiver of the love bombing. Because I feel like it has to be someone who, like, finds that valid, you know, it's like good love language or whatever.
Trisha Paytas
Like, me too, you know, like, wow, that's a lot of people. I guess that's why they fall for these people. I guess that makes sense. Oh, God.
Jimmy
I mean, the love bombing is a problem. When somebody is. It's not genuine. They do it to get something and then they leave because it's not real. But you put the love in there and you kept it.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Jimmy
You know what I mean? It goes all in love easily.
Trisha Paytas
Pretty quickly. I'm, like, in love with somebody.
Jimmy
It's different. But the people that love bomb and then ghost you and move on to somebody else love.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, gosh. And how are they long together? A year and a half.
Oscar
Yeah, they had two breakups in there, I guess.
Trisha Paytas
But, oh, God, this is awful. And you just get this new house. And she said she was, like, losing money at the moment. She was. I have to, like, pay for movers. And I define a new apartment. She's going back to New York. And then you lose. You know, her friendship with Grace obviously has, like, suffered from this. Like, it just, like, sucks, like, the whole thing. And then you just, like, lose so much of yourself. At least she's getting a lot of support right now. I mean, that's all. That's, like, another good thing about, like, bringing it to the Internet in the sense is, like, you do get a lot of.
Oscar
Because she was going through it for.
Trisha Paytas
A long time and not telling anybody.
Oscar
Yes.
Trisha Paytas
And then people just speculating and shaped like, no, we're fine. Like, because I remember she'd be so defensive. We're fine. We're together.
Oscar
You're a loser. Or like, yeah. Oh, no. What's his name? Zach Bryant. He. Remember, he commented on, like, yes. Her Instagram was like, you're a loser if you. If you're so concerned about her life. Blah, blah, blah.
Trisha Paytas
Like, okay, you both are public figures. Like, so. But, like, that makes sense because you're going through, like, so much. He's like, a piece of. Honestly, like, all the stuff was, like, talking about what she can wear to the. Like, anytime a guy, like, will talk about, like, what a girl wears and stuff like, that is so, so weird. But then to fight, like, this main story was, like, the one I took away was, like, the fire for her birthday, like, the bonfire or whatever.
Oscar
Yeah. Where he got in a fight with.
Trisha Paytas
With all the girls, like, all her girlfriends. I was like, you are such a weird. She, like, went upstairs and she woke up to, like, screaming downstairs. And her aunt's, like, trying to calm him down, and he's screaming. And, like, allegedly, what people are speculating is, like, Grace was, like, obviously, like, the receiver of it. And, like, she was filming or something. Like, she was the one filming. That's, like, what people had heard, but just, like, screaming at them and calling them losers and telling them they're, like, leeches and stuff. Like, what a weirdo. I will say, like, I. Like, I think alcohol, alcoholism is like, a disease for sure. But I think it's like, you have to obviously get yourself help, but just sounds like a really sick person, which is, like, sad. But, like, sometimes these situations are, like, mirrors. Maybe he can, like, get some help, because that's wild. And to scream at, like, women, too. We kind of go back to that. It's like, when you're a guy screaming at a girl is, like, so weird.
Oscar
Oh, he was arrested in 2023.
Trisha Paytas
Oh.
Oscar
For drunkenly yelling at a state officer in Oklahoma.
Trisha Paytas
What month?
Oscar
September, 2023.
Trisha Paytas
Oh, yeah. That kind of was, like, not talked about. That's. So obviously he has a problem.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
And it is crazy, too, because you would think that it would be like. Like, he's so, like, in, like, it seem. It seems like an insecurity of, like, his own, like, manliness or whatever. But, I mean, he still, like, went and, like, started drama with Dave, and I feel like you would think he'd be like, Dave is such, like, an alpha guy that you would think you would be, like, afraid. But he wasn't. So that also is. It's a weird.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
I don't know. I don't understand it.
Trisha Paytas
Well, I guess he maybe was maybe trying to, like, isolate her, like, have, like, issues with all her friends and family. She doesn't think she had a lot of friends and family like me. It's, like, easier to, like, isolate. No one's ever tried to isolate me. But I'm saying, like, I feel like it'd be easier because I don't have friends and family. But she seems to have, like, a big support around her, so it's, like, odd to try and, like, fight with all her people. You know what I mean?
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
And I guess, like, you're in the relationship, so you're kind of, like, blinded by it, I guess. I don't know. It is odd. Yeah. I guess you don't know, like, the full situation of it. But if she's like, I don't know.
Oscar
I don't. I mean, she. At least. At the very least, thank God she had, like, a platform so everyone could know about his actual, like, behavior. Because if he's writing these, like, sentimental songs and everyone thinks he's just, like, a softy, sweet lady, you know, but that's what he's really like, you know, if she didn't have a platform, no one would ever know. So.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. Yeah. Don't mess with the social media influencer.
Oscar
Don't mess with the girl with the podcast.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
A girl with a microphone is a powerful.
Trisha Paytas
That is so true. And I love that people can rally behind her because I feel like people are, like, anti brief for, like, her Menetta's comments, like, all stuff like that, which is, like, you know, valid points and criticism or whatever. But I think, like, there's, you know, when people are a victim of something, people can rally behind like you know, two things can be true. You can like not like someone for like their like takes or whatever. But then also like when there's like a victim, people still rally behind.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
So I think that's good that people didn't like get. Some people did. I know she said some people were using like Herman and his brother's comments like against her, you know, but they go, you should just ran away or something like that. So like some people did. But I think it overall people could have like the sympathy and empathy for her when like you hear that full situation because like she didn't even say every single story. But just like hearing all that stuff, even the like the breakup with him, like posting this stuff and being on riot, telling her like, I mean all that is like a lot, a lot. And well, hopefully she's back. She seems like she's doing relatively okay considering your whole life is like turned upside down. Cuz she. They talked about having kids and like getting married. That's the worst. Especially like as a female. I mean she's still so young, but it's like the worst when you feel like you've wasted like your life. It was short, it was like a year and a half. But when you feel like you wasted time with someone, you're like, especially if you want kids. You're like, oh my God, why are you wasting my time? It's like you're on a clock when you're like a female. So sad situation. I felt bad. I felt sad before I even saw all of it. I was like, oh my God. Because I feel awful. But she seemed to be in a lot of support, so that's good.
Oscar
Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
And Dave's in her corner and everyone's on dates. He released another song, Country Daddy. I was like, okay, same.
Oscar
I'm like, mama, kudos.
Trisha Paytas
Did you hear it? Did you listen to it this morning?
Oscar
I thought we could react to it on Patreon though.
Trisha Paytas
So let's do it.
Oscar
They've been getting close. Claimed on YouTube or whatever. So that first song kept getting claimed, so.
Trisha Paytas
Oh really?
Oscar
Yeah. I guess I get according to Spill Sesh. But she said that like I guess Josh forgot that he was in a recording contract and it violated his contract for him to do that, to do that song. So it got removed from like Spotify and YouTube and stuff.
Trisha Paytas
Joshua is in a recording contract allegedly.
Oscar
And he forgot that he was in one. So that's.
Trisha Paytas
And it violated record recording contract. Damn. Okay, well they have the time, that's for sure.
Oscar
They've been doing Music videos, like, high production, high budget. Yeah.
Trisha Paytas
That'S wild. Like, to have that much hate from, like, the people in your life. Like, then that person's awful and terrible. What a crazy. I wonder if he's talked to him. Like, I wonder if he's trying to reach out. Like, you know, whenever I've made videos about guys, they always will try to reach out and be like, she said.
Oscar
He blocked her, right? She said that.
Trisha Paytas
Well, I have two. But then they unblocked. Oh, you get after, like, Yeah, I always get it. Even now, like I said, like, there's sometimes, like, 12 years later, people are just like, hey. I, like, no, I could see him.
Oscar
Doing it as, like, another plea, you know, like another, like, attempt to control her. This is just me projecting, obviously, like, hypothetically.
Trisha Paytas
Right.
Oscar
But I could see him wanting to, like, kind of, like, rein it in before. Because obviously she has so much against him that she could, if she wanted to, like, you know, go scorched earth at any time. She could.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah.
Oscar
So I could see her.
Trisha Paytas
I could see that. Even, like, two years later. I mean, even when Moses and I got together, I had someone reach out and I was like, hey, call me. It was like, someone I, like, dated before, and I was just like, what? Like. And then they found out from another person. They're like, oh, yeah. They're like, oh, let me just call her up. She'll, like, you know, she'll be so excited here for me. I'm just like, oh, people are so. Guys are so psychotic. And, like, even there's someone from, like, 15 years old, like, people just, like, reach out and you're just like, what? What? I don't like you. Like, I don't care how much time has passed. Like, you were awful. But they think they have some sort of, like, oh, Trisha's so obsessed with me. She'll be so excited. That's happened multiple times from people. And I'm just like, I'm not that same girl. Yeah, I'm not. That's a wicked song. I'm not that girl. I mean, and it's true. But guys, no matter what, no matter how old, how much time has passed on. Famous, famous. It's crazy. And that's why I say, like, don't date famous guys. They all seem to have this, like, weird ego thing. And he's, like, really, really famous, too. But, yeah, I guess in the song he said, Pink Skies is about Grace O'Malley. That's what Dave said. Yeah.
Oscar
What?
Trisha Paytas
It's about her grandma's funeral. That he was forced to go to by Brianna. Oh. Brianna responded in a comment on TikTok saying they're like, how does pink skies have to do with grace? And she goes, because I forced him to go to her grandma's funeral. And he hated it and complained or something.
Oscar
I don't even know what the song is about, but.
Trisha Paytas
Well, we can react. We can react to it. We have so much more.
Oscar
Looking at the lyrics, I'm like, what? I don't even know what this. I don't understand how he's so big. You. If you're a Zach Brian fan, I want to hear from you. Please let me know in the comments down below what you see in him, what you like about him. Is it just because he's a guy who has, like, poetic lyrics? I don't know. Like what? I just don't get it.
Trisha Paytas
Nobody watches us. Are his fans? I hope not.
Oscar
I mean, maybe.
Trisha Paytas
Maybe.
Oscar
I mean, you do you.
Trisha Paytas
I guess, like, he's like a. Like that's the same, like, Theo font. Like, I feel like they're all like, share a fan base.
Oscar
I mean. But I like Noah Kahan and Zach was friends with Noah Kahan, so I don't. I don't. I'm unsure. I'm uncertain. I'm unsure. I don't get it. I really don't get it. I like Casey Musgraves. I know Zach collaborated with Casey Musgraves.
Trisha Paytas
Wow.
Oscar
So I don't get around to everybody. Yeah. I just don't get it.
Trisha Paytas
I don't get it either.
Oscar
Especially you. Because sometimes, you know, a sentimental guy with a guitar, you kind of like a Clinton Kane.
Trisha Paytas
Yeah. The song eats. I hate Clint Kane, but I love the song.
Oscar
Even if you can't see it, then that's when we really know something is.
Trisha Paytas
Well, I was gonna say we should watch. Exactly. I just don't know his song. Maybe they're good. Maybe.
Oscar
And Patreon. We'll listen to one just to see for journalism.
Trisha Paytas
Virginalism.
Oscar
I'm confused.
Trisha Paytas
Not a stand. Even if it's good, I'm not going to know. But if you guys want to go over to our Patreon do extended. We're going to react to these songs. No, we have more Hot Topics over there. Actually. Do I have like three Hot Topics? Okay, so guys want to know more? Go over to patreon.com/just trish. Thank you to the sponsors of Today's video.
