Welcome back everyone to Karma and Chaos Podcast. Yeah, happy you're here. Happy we're here. Happy to be alive today.
Kale
Happy Pride.
Becky
Happy pride. You know, the last time I opened up our podcast was saying letting people know if you're struggling, if you need a reminder that you are enough to be here, this is it. Thankful that you're here. You don't hate Your life. You just hate this chapter. So keep on going, keep on moving. I got a lot of responses from saying that, that people needed to hear that. And I'm just gonna throw that in every once in a while again, because sometimes life sucks.
Kale
I actually needed that myself. I posted it wasn't meant to be cryptic. It was meant to be very blunt. Was like, I'm going through it. 2026 has whooped my ass and I am working on the cussing, but I'm saying that with my whole chest. 2020. Did I say 2025? I meant 2026.
Becky
No, you said 2026.
Kale
Oh, okay. So 2026 is whooping my ass so hard that I'm. I needed to hear that. But I do come with a cute, not so cute little post that Becky literally just sent 30 seconds ago in the group chat. And I just want to say that this is the type of people that we need in the world. So this woman goes on our karma and chaos page and she says, hello, killer team. I'm a big time listener of all the podcasts. I figured reaching you would be easier than messaging Kale, which she is probably accurate there. I have purchased a single VIP ticket to the Anaheim show on July 2. Ironically, the fatherless Behavior tour ticket I purchased is the day of my dad's service, who passed away this week. So sorry. Rest in peace. I was thinking of reaching out for a refund, but I figured you guys can do a giveaway for the ticket. It's a vip. It's a vip. One, front row, please let me know. So I just want to say that, one, I'm so sorry about your dad passing away, and two, the fact that you're not asking for a refund and willing to allow me to give that away is the sweetest thing that I've ever heard, especially during a trying time. So there are still good people out there.
Becky
Rip to your pops. I don't know if it was unexpected, expected, whatever the scenario is. I'm sorry. And nothing like losing a dad around Father's Day. I might. Actually, speaking of losing a father, my dad's two year anniversary is Friday, which is crazy. So I get it.
Kale
What?
Becky
Why?
Kale
Because I'm sorry, like, I'm sorry because, like, where do we go from here?
Becky
How do we transition out of there?
Kale
How do we transition? Well.
Becky
Well, the thing. Let me just talk about this for a second. The thing that's interesting. The. The one year was hard. Two year I thought would maybe be a little easier. But two years, my first year with Bex. So, like, it adds. It's just my dad would have loved him. And so it's like, a very weird feeling. Like, I'm grateful to know what their relationship would have been like, but also sad to know they would have never had that, because, like, videos pop up of my dad, and if you guys have followed me, you have seen him. He was, like, such a silly, goofy guy. And then even with, like, the thing we talked about today with Piper or yesterday or last time we recorded with Piper's thing, just seeing their relationship. Right? Like, so, yeah. RIP Larry, two years. Anyone that has a dead dad or losing their dad or doesn't have a dad or whatever the situation with your dad is with Father's Day coming up, you are seen invalid and welcome here. I'll be your dad if you want.
Kale
Daddy Becky. Daddy Ducky.
Becky
Yeah, Daddy Ducky in the house. I went over to the house this morning. They're starting H Vac over there. I had to load up a truck, a dumpster, more floorings. I'm mad at Lowe's right now, and if you guys want to know, not to get political, I support Lowe's, not Home Depot. For whatever reason, it's just stuck in my mind. But with that being said, I'm. I'm fighting with Lowe's right now because I keep ordering this damn flooring, and I can't get it from one store, and because it's on clearance, I have to call different stores to get the flooring.
Kale
Habitat for Humanity. We already talked about this.
Becky
You know what? You know, it's annoying is I went to Habitat, and they did have really good flooring there, but I had already ordered this floor. It was on clearance. So the. Anyway, but Lowe's is pissing me off because they're telling me this one store to get the rest of my flooring is too far away to deliver, and that I have to come pick it up.
Kale
So, you know what? Champagne problems. But the flooring that I have in my house is discontinued, and I wanted to do hard. Like, I wanted to do the same flooring upstairs. It's discontinued. So, like, what do you do then? Because I'm not.
Becky
You want to put hardwood flooring in your house? Upstairs in the house that you're moving from.
Kale
Did. Sorry, I don't want to do it anymore. I thought about it, because when we were gonna stay here, and so I was like, oh, well, like, it's just easier. Because to me, like, nothing against, you know, carpet, but we did have, you know, a dog. We. We've gone through dogs. We've gone through cats. We still have a cat. We still have. You know what I mean? So it's just. Yeah, there's a lot going on. So I was like, oh, like, it makes more sense to do hardwood. Yeah. And it's not even hard hardwood. It's just like. What is it called? No EVP or LVP or something. It's like the. Is that what it is?
Becky
Yeah, whatever.
Kale
You know, hardwood is not a thing anymore. It's, like, not popular at all.
Ad Voice
Yep.
Kale
Okay, cool. I'm cool. Cool. I actually. So my meds have been on a shortage for some time. I'm going to therapy after this, and I also. I'm out of my meds, so I also have to tell them that it's this. It's two different providers in the same, like, company or whatever. So, like, one's for therapy and one's for, like, meds. And so when you go to the pharmacy to pick up your meds and they're like, oh, by the way, there's a shortage. I'm like, oh, okay, well, can you do, like, a lower dose that will equal what I'm supposed to do? And they're like, yeah, we just need permission from your doctor. I thought they were calling the doctor. Apparently, I needed to call the doctor. So I've been out of the meds because I'm like, oh, they're just gonna call because they need permission to do that. So. No, that's not how that works. Like, I have to. So I basically was just like, it. I'll just say it when I go in person. So I'm going today, moving up ceremonies tomorrow. When this has. When this will have aired, Lincoln will be have. Lincoln will have left for the summer. Creed will have graduated kindergarten. Lux moved up from third grade, going to intermediate school. And today, as we're recording right now, Elliot's last day of school. Oh,
Becky
that, like, hurts me a little bit.
Kale
Like, he's gonna be a junior and we're gonna have to start planning college tour visits.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
And I mean, I'm fucking ready. Like, I'm excited. I want him to go live life to the full experience, but, like, to the fullest. But, like, we're going to look at colleges.
Becky
Yeah, that. You know, sometimes for some people, it's, like, stressful to think about college for their kid because maybe they're a little bit recluse and, like, they're not ready for the big world. Right. Like, but Elliot, that kid. That kid is gonna thrive, and maybe not Automatically, maybe he'll have his bumps and bruises and whatever. But when I think about Elliot going to college, I think about him blossoming into this, like, man, right? Like, and just doing so well. I don't know. But it also makes me really sad because it's like, holy. How is he gonna be a junior? How is he driving?
Kale
And I think he's ready. But I also think that it still will be a learning curve and a little bit of a culture he's having, too, because right now he's in the phase of like, mom, will you buy this? Or do I have to spend my own money? So when he gets to college, it's not. I'm not giving him unlimited access to my credit card. Like, you're just not. Like, you kind of have to learn your own way and your own budgeting and things like that.
Becky
So are you going to give him an allowance? Like, I was thinking about that before, too. Of, like, do I get a credit card for Becks that has limits to it, that he can use for emergencies, knowing that there's X amount of dollars, like 500amonth on it or something like that?
Kale
No. No. Because if I'm paying your college tuition, fair, the rest is on you. Like, he's so responsible and he does a really good job managing his time. And he does get money. He makes money on social media. Like, I think if there are big purchases that he wants or he needs. Like, he already has a MacBook, almost brand new. So unless he needs one, like, what are you really needing?
Becky
Yeah, fair.
Kale
Do you get what I'm saying? And, like, I just think that if I am paying for his college tuition and give him an allowance and pay for his meal plan and pay for all of his thing, like, his dad can give him an allowance if he wants.
Becky
When you put it like that, you're right. Bex doesn't need an allowance.
Kale
You know what's so annoying is when you're checking your bank account or you get an automated text that your subscription just automatically pulled out of your bank account and you completely forgot about that subscription and you don't want to pay for it anymore, I have a solution for you. And. And that is Rocket Money. So Rocket money is a game changer because if you're. If you're like me and you're trying to grow your savings and you want to save for very specific things, this is a great option. And so I want to remind you guys that Rocket Money is a great option if you're kind of looking for a place to start. Becky
I don't even know I'm thinking about this now. I was literally thinking about this the other day.
Kale
No, because you blink and they'll be 18. Speaking of budgeting, hold on. Because I have a bone to pick with the economy.
Becky
Oh.
Kale
So I go to Family Dollar today. I'm like, lincoln, hey, text me this list because we're on our way to school. I'm like, text me this list. I need to run to the store after this. I'm talking five items. Okay. Literally five items from Dollars from Dollar Family Dollar. I want you to guess how much did I spend on. These are the five items. Are you ready?
Becky
Yes.
Kale
Zyrtec deodorant detangler. Like, leave in spray detangler toothbrushes. And hold on, there's one more thing. Took a picture of it because I'm dumbfounded. Razors. How much do you think I spent on those five things?
Becky
$42.
Kale
No.
Becky
How much?
Kale
$52. 52?
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
At the gosh darn Family Dollar. You know, these are items that I needed. These are not things that I wanted. These are things that are literally personal hygiene and also allergies. And I'm like, 5250. Like, are you. What about the middle and lower class? Like, what about them? You. If you need those once a week, that's 200 on five things. Like, I feel bad and I don't know how to fix it. This.
Becky
I also wish I knew how to fix this. It is really overwhelming and I, I do feel when we leave, when we like go, we have a grocery store in town that's really expensive too. And it's really overwhelming because anytime I go in there, I spend $200 on basically nothing. And it's like, how, like, how is this the world that we live in? But I will say if you are someone that is looking to budget more effectively with food, there's this dude on Tick Tock that does five dollar meals, like family meals. And it. And he shows you how to cook like, like inexpensive meals with a lower budget for your full. I think he normally does like a family of four and it's really, really cool to see.
Kale
I've seen a woman like that who does the dollar store meals and she does the Thanksgiving meals and all the things. And like obviously we are talking about processed foods, but also that is the entire economy right now. The entire.
Becky
What are you supposed to do? I mean, you can't, you can't go, you can't starve and just not. I don't know. It pisses me off. I'm so sorry that we are all in this struggle in some way of let everybody navigate choices made by billionaires that make our economy awful. And that goes. And that's not a specific party. It's all of them. Burn it all down and start over. Have women lead. That's all.
Kale
Anyway, yeah, what she said.
Becky
There's something that I want to discuss and I'm not going to say why I want to discuss it. Well, I'll just, I'll just say this if this is completely a different topic. If you're okay with that.
Kale
I don't care.
Becky
I miss you. I wish we could hang out all the time.
Kale
I wish we lived near each other.
Becky
I know. Anyway, if in the world of cheating. All right guys, let's. We're gonna talk about cheating here for a second. First and foremost, let's just stop cheating. All right? If you are listening to this and you are actively cheating on your partner, don't do it. Because you aren't the only one that is going to have long term effects of what you're doing in the same breath. I need you guys to understand this. If you are being cheated on, right? If you find out you're being cheated on, you are not crazy. Because for the past six months, for the past year, for the past however long you've been cheated on, you've been being emotionally manipulated by someone and their emotions have been affected by their cheating towards you.
Kale
You.
Becky
Right. So like someone that is cheating cannot give you the love that you need. They will manipulate how they act towards you. They will manipulate how, like if they're being frustrated with the situation, they're going to take it out on you. They're going to be more irritable. You are not crazy for noticing that change. And if you are in that for a long period of time, it is going to like, like significantly disrupt how you think and how you process because that changes you. So we are going to heal. We are going to leave people that are in really long term cheating relationships. We're not talking oopsie moments. And yeah, I, it's. I'm not going through cheating. That's not why I'm bringing this up. I have a friend. Yeah, I have a friend that is. And it's just brought up so many. Because I've been in like a cheating situation and it's just, it brought up so many emotions of just like how it is so painful going through it, like being cheated on. That, like, let's just not. If you, if you don't want to be with someone, just tell them. Okay,
Kale
sounds good. Like it's not as black and white as everyone wishes it was. I'm gonna add a layer to that.
Becky
Okay.
Kale
The justification that people will say, well, they'll, They'll. They'll partner shame. Oh, well, she wasn't doing X, Y and Z or he wasn't doing X, Y and Z or she. The most common thing that is said about me and Elijah is that I treated him like a babysitter and so I deserved it. And he will even tell you your, like, he will tell you himself that despite whatever communication or lack there lack thereof in our relationship, like, he shouldn't have done that. Whether he wanted to be with me or not, whether I treated him like a babysitter or not. Like, that is still just not. And like, right. Because I, I'm a recovering cheater. I have cheated before or like the once a cheater, always a cheater thing. I actually don't believe that.
Becky
I don't believe that either because I
Kale
have cheated on, you know, I cheated on Jordan. For anyone else they think that I cheated, I didn't. And I. So I do feel like I'm speaking from experience, not because I'm like, pop me, cat. I'm not trying to be a hypocrite. It's like I've been on both sides and honestly, the one that is the cheater, how I was like I wasn't even sleeping at night because I was fearful that that person would go through my phone.
Becky
Sure.
Kale
Did I delete everything? Yeah. But you never know when you get a random text. You never know when you get a random dick pic, like, or whatever. So. And then, like, I.
Becky
The fly, just flowing. I think it's in the back. I think it's on the back of your head.
Kale
Great. But then, like, when you look at, like, two of the other people I dated that I didn't really claim, like, I didn't cheat on them, per se, but, like, it was like, okay, we would fight and we would break up, and I'd go back to you know who, and then I. We would get back together or me and him would be done, so I'd go back. So, like, that also is, in my opinion, a form of cheating, because it's not really honest. It's not something that somebody should sign up to do. And so I say all that to say, like, stop doing it to yourself. Like, you're. You're sabotaging your own self, your own mental health, because not only you have to keep your lies straight, you have to. You lose sleep at night not wanting them to, you know, go through your. Your phone.
Becky
You.
Kale
You can't go anywhere without, like, looking over your shoulder to make sure that they're not around. Like, it's just not. Like, both sides of it is not fun. It's not cute, and ultimately always blows up in your face no matter which way you spin it.
Becky
So. Yeah.
Kale
Yeah. Agreed.
Becky
Yeah. Let's stop. And let's stop dreaming about cheating, because sometimes I dream Leah kissing. I just had a dream that Leah kissed someone and. And not in. Like, it was a weird. And then, like, I've just been mad at her since, you know, dude, that fly is crazy.
Kale
This fly is. Like, that's not how that works, Becky. You can't just stop dreaming about it.
Becky
Yeah, I know. I'm just putting it out, out into the world, hoping that. Hoping that maybe it'll. It'll change one day for us.
Kale
Probably not.
Becky
Can I just tell you how funny this is? That this is just sitting here?
Kale
No. That's the funniest thing that has ever been. So I recorded with Tracy and Jessica from Bad Examples at Becky's house over the weekend. And Jess asked Chat GPT to create a family tree for me. And I just want to say that Chat GPT did me dirty, because if my baby daddy looked like that, first of all, the only one that is even remotely close is Javi. The rest of them, if that was my baby daddy lineup, nobody would say about me. Nobody would say to me. They'd be like, oh, kale pulls men. You know what I mean?
Becky
I do know what you mean, because they are very.
Kale
They're very cute kids are not even remotely close to mine.
Becky
Yeah. Oh, I saw this tick tock and it was so funny. It was a cop. It was like a best cam shot and it would. I had seen the original tick tock prior because the girl was talking about how she got pulled over and the cop accused her of something she didn't do. And she was just waiting for the. For the footage to come out so that. That. So that she could share it. The arm one. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. And like. And so the. It was like the footage of the. The vest, whatever it's called. And the cop walks up and he was like, hey, ma', am, you're. Blah, blah, blah. You're being pulled over for distracted driving. Your. Your phone was in your right hand. And she like whips her her arm up and she was like, this hand. He goes, yes. And she doesn't have a hand. Like, her arm is. Is.
Kale
She literally only has an elbow. I think her arm is amputated above the elbow.
Becky
And he was. And he kept going with it. And he's like, yeah, you ha. And she's like, what? How? How? And he's. And he just. Instead of apologizing and just like owning that he was wrong, he like, kept going with it, saying that she had something in her hand. It was so funny, obviously that it was dismissed. But like, like it was just so. I guess you had to be there. But you've seen it.
Kale
No. It's so funny.
Becky
Yeah, I. I saw another one recently too. I love those kinds of things.
Kale
No, but like, because people don't know how to say that they are wrong. Like, you could just be like, hey, oh, I'm sorry. I thought I saw something. Like, but I think it's alleged. Like they say that there's not really a police quota for like, like tickets and stuff, but. So I don't know where that rumor came from, if it's true or if it' not true or if it's like an un Unofficial.
Becky
Like, I think it is true.
Kale
I mean, I don't know because I don't. I mean, whatever. But why not? You could have just lied and said, oh my God, I'm so sorry. I thought I saw something. It must have been a shadow. Yeah, like, it must have been a shadow. I'm so sorry. Like you didn't have to like double down.
Becky
Yeah, like his embarrassment. Just. You know,
Kale

No, I volunteered at it was the ten year anniversary celebration. It's called Kindness Between Friends and so they had reached out. It's actually a listener who had told the founder of it to reach out to me to see if I would come out and bartend. And so yeah, it was, it was so much fun because first of all I'm a retired bartender and it was like so cool to be back behind the bar.
Kale
Just like behind the bar is such a cool name for either like a podcast or a tick tock series behind the Bar trademark it.
Becky
It's probably already used but I bar behind the bar but I was slinging drinks like doing all the stuff. It was so much fun. There was raffles. I love a good raffle. Like that was so cool and it was so funny. I one of my, I told my friends in the area that I have a couple friends because it was like an hour and a half from here. I forget where it was but I told a couple friends that live out in the area that I was doing it and I didn't know like none of them really confirmed or anything but one of my friends showed up and she sat down and the woman next to her, she like, walked away. The woman goes, is that your wife? And I was like, no. Like, that's just. It's one of my friends. And she goes, she goes, man, your face lit up when you saw her walk in. And I think that just perfectly describes how much I love my friends and how, like, I was so happy that she came and I was so excited to be able to see her. And I feel like my entire being changes when I'm in the presence of. Of people that I love and my friends being included.
Kale
Can I stop you right there? Because I feel like. So I've been talking a lot about, like, a rebrand and like, cutting people off and like, reevaluating my life personally and professionally. That right there is something that I needed to hear because maybe I don't outwardly show my face lighting up, but if that is not the internal feeling that I have around someone, I need to cut them off.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
Thank you for that.
Becky
You're welcome.
Kale
If you don't feel that warm, fuzzy feeling when you see your friends, it doesn't have to be on the outside, but if you don't feel it on the inside either, maybe cut them off. Maybe distance yourself a little bit.
Becky
Yeah. Even I was at Carson and Kelsey's kids birthday party and I didn't know Spencer and Amanda were coming. And they showed up and I was like, it made me so happy to see them and so happy to see their baby speaking. And speaking of two things. First, someone commented on a post of ours and people kind of consistently comment on it about how I'm so in love with you.
Kale
And first of all, do you know what that would take for Becky to be in love with me? Becky, like, loves. She hates to love me, actually, because that would not ever be a thing.
Becky
No, but I think it's true. But like, I am, like, I do love you and like, for someone to see me looking at you with love and. And then turning it into a negative, it's like, man, I feel bad for you that you don't have friends that love you like that. Right. Like, truly.
Kale
But also, like, they don't know you as a person then, because that is how you are with all your friends. It's not just me, so. But I think because, like, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt, they don't see you with your other friends, so they don't know you to love your other friends like that. And like, they don't know you to Love. Like, you could post until you're blue in the face with Leah, but, like, they don't know you as a person because to know Becky is To know that she's obsessed with her wife. Like, literally. I don't think that I've ever known someone to be as in love with their partner as you are with Leah.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
Yeah. So, like. And, like, I think most people would be able to tell if, like, somebody was, like, catching feelings. I mean, I'm blind or I'm blinder than a bat, but, like, most people would be able to discern that. And I feel like I've never felt in any way in all these 15 years if that you ever were attracted to me in any way.
Becky
Yeah, sorry.
Kale
No,
Becky
you know what I mean about it.
Kale
Sorry. Like, you know what? But I think that people. Oh. And I do want to touch on something, too. That kind of brings me to that point. But I. I think that people are overall, and. And I. Maybe it's the economy and society and all of the things I don't know. But I think generally speaking, people would rather listen to and have something to complain about. Like, nothing is ever good enough. So you could say, no, I just love her because she's my friend. I'm actually in love with my wife. But then they will continue on with this narrative, right?
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
And that brings me to my next point. Last week, we talked about Ali Rose coast trademark. Hey, Leah. I was just saying that I have never known someone to love their partner as much as Becky loves you. Happy Pride, everyone. Happy Friday.
Becky
Happy Friday. Oh, is this, like, actual. Yeah, yeah. We're recording next week's episode. Happy Pride land on her way to work.
Kale
Is this actual?
Becky
And I'm late because I have to meet for the.
Kale
Look.
Becky
Your things are looking a little baggy.
Kale
She looks great.
Becky
She looks great.
Kale
She does.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
I forgot to tell her that. But look great, Leah.
Becky
Love you so much. Love you so much. I'll see you later. Happy Pride.
Kale
Happy Pride.
Becky
So, dinner in the fridge.
Kale
What'd she say?
Becky
Dinner in the fridge.
Kale
Oh, that's sweet. Last week we talked about Ali Rose Co's trademark.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
And try to follow the bouncing ball here, because I'm going to get back to the point that people are so miserable, they say they don't want to hear us complain, but they're also complaining all the time. Right. Like, Ally Rose Co disappeared off of social media for a few days after she announced her trademark because people were pissed. And I don't think that I bullied her in any Way I said my opinion, it made me a little uncomfortable. I was conflicted at first and didn't really agree with it. But ultimately, at the end of last week's episode, I said, I still think that Ali Rose Co's stuff is cute and I would still buy from her. Okay. She gets online yesterday and she posts an apology video saying that she was advised to trade market and that she fully hears everybody and she's sorry that she did it and she's abandoning the trademark and she's donating 100 of the profits to any hot girls read merch on her website to two charities that are in the book community. And I liked it, and I support her because I think that sometimes good people make bad choices or are misadvised or they think it's a good business strategy and it ends up not being. I'm guilty of that too. Like, we're all human, right? I see the fucking comments and the comments are diabolical. Like, just fully just continuing to rip her to shreds. And I can't get behind that because what more do you want? Like, literally, what more could you ask for? Like, she's reading the room now and it's like, okay, cool, like, she fucked up. But to sit here and then to con. To continue to rip her to shreds, I can't get behind that.
Becky
The thing is, like, I would do the same thing that if someone was like, oh, you should trademark this. This is a great business idea. This is great. Yeah.
Kale
But then people are in. The comments are like, that you should fire your lawyer. Your lawyer shouldn't have suggested that. No, because I do think in other. Well, I'll call it a community. I guess in other communities, that is something that would be recommended. And I have a trademark attorney in Florida. So, like, I know for a. Like, they don't. If they're not in that specific community, they can't predict what the. What the perception or the reaction will be. And I will say that, like, I think that that lawyer probably did suggest that based on whatever their knowledge is in each community space. Like, each, like, business space. Right. Why else would they suggest it? They're not. I hate to tell you, but, like, it's not super, super expensive. So it's not like they were making hundreds of thousands of dollars for trademarking this for this woman.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
And I. I feel bad because I do think that, you know, she. She thought it was a business strategy and it upset everybody. And I just. I don't know what more you could ask for her she literally showed her face back on the Internet. Do you know how many people would never come back on the Internet ever again?
Becky
Yeah, and she did. Like, she's literally giving back to charities, which is something she didn't have to
Kale
do either, but then they were ripping her to shreds for that. Saying that, yeah, I'm glad you're donating to charities, but you shouldn't have been here in the first place. And like, yeah, okay, we all agree. Great. Move on. Either support her or don't. But to sit here and then you're complaining that she did it, you're complaining that she apologized. If you don't like her, just don't comment there.
Becky
There's no winning in today's society at all.
Kale
No. And then people say, oh, like, I've read podcast comments that we are out of touch and we complain all the time. Have y' all read your own comments that you leave on people's. Like, do you read your own reviews that you leave on? And this is not meant to be fair.
Becky
You are a little out of touch sometimes, but I think that's what makes you a little funny.
Kale
Okay, but I also don't want to spend 52.50 on five items either. Like, I get it.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
You know what I mean? Like, I, yes, I am a little out of touch sometimes, but I also am self aware enough to know that. Right? Yeah. But, like, I would go out on a limb and guess that Ali probably, like, lost sleep over this. She had to get off the Internet. She lost thousands of followers. Like, if you think that she's not already suffering the consequences of her actions, she doesn't need you to turn around and bully her even more.
Ad Voice
More.
Becky
Yeah, Just let it be.
Kale
So anyways, I inserted. If you haven't listened to that episode, I did insert her. I had Alessandra insert her apology video in there too, because we did discuss it and I just wanted to give her like, a fair. Like, yes, this happened. Yes, we're talking about it. But, like, also, she said sorry, and I accept her apology.
Becky
If you accept her apology, then I accept her apology.
Kale

Thumbtack presents uncertainty Strikes I was surrounded the aisle and the options were closing in. There were paint rollers, satin and matte finish, angle brushes and natural bristles.
Kale
There were too many choices.
Becky
What if I never got my living room painted? What if I couldn't figure out what type of paint to use? What if I just used thumbtack? I can hire a top rated pro that knows everything about interior paint, easily compare prices and read reviews. Thumbtack Knowshomes. Download the app today. That was so relative to the conversation we were having. So I'm glad that you brought it up.
Kale
It wasn't. You said it was. Oh, okay. Because I'm, you know, just the complaining aspect of it.
Becky
But yeah, I had the other day. I want to continue on the Spencer conversation. I don't know if he probably listens to these. I feel like he's the kind of guy that would. But I had my Sunday reset. I host a Sunday reset every month month with my Patreon like people. And I had it this past Sunday and I'd posted on my story and Spencer was like, what is this? And I was like, oh, it's my Sunday reset with my Patreon people. And which it was so it's so much fun. I think there was like 20 of us and we just like yap. And. And the more I get to know someone, the more I bully them. And it's. It's just so fun for me to feel like I have this personal relationship now with all this group of girls and. But Spencer joined and I was like, Spencer, what do you do? What are you doing here? And he's like, I just want to support you. I don't. He's like, I'm just here to hang out. And it was just so cute. Like Spencer's this big burly man that is such an. But has such a soft heart for the people he loves. And I, I just love him so much and he's just always been like, what is this?
Kale
That's actually really funny.
Becky
Yeah. Yeah. But we were all talking about tour on there because everyone in. In there is going to like a different tour somewhere. And I was like, well. And then we were talking, talking about going out after and I was like, well, we could go to the strip club if we really want. If we want to. And everyone's saying the different cities they're going to and I'm just naming strip clubs that I've been doing those cities. And I'm thinking to my. And the half of most people are like, I've never been to a strip club or my mom was a stripper, so I don't go to strip club.
Kale
So, I mean, listen, if the family dollar is charging 52, I mean, we're averaging $10 an item. I might be a stripper myself.
Becky
I don't think that you would make a great stripper.
Kale
But first of all.
Becky
What?
Kale
I have no rhythm, first of all.
Becky
But to be fair, I've seen really bad dancers at strip clubs.
Kale
So what about me specifically wouldn't make a good stripper?
Becky
I don't know if, if you would be able to have the ability to, like, get people to spend money, engage in the conversation aspect and, like, the influencing aspect to a man.
Kale
The part where you have to, like, talk dirty to them and get them to spend money immediately, count me out. I would be so awkward. I wouldn't even know what to say. And then you kind of have to, like, have the confidence to be able to act like you're gonna do those things to that person.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
I don't even put those dicks in my mouth. You know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, yeah, we're not doing that. Like, I am not. I couldn't even be a strip tease if I wanted to.
Becky
That's that. Yeah, so that's, that's where I'm like, you could walk. You're hot enough to be a stripper. Right? Okay, but. But, like, I don't think that you could accept a man. Like, a man coming up to you and touching you and you having to, like, just be okay with it.
Kale
Nope. I. No. The way that I'm so awkward in an intimate relationship where I know somebody. I mean, we're 18, not 18 months. That's an exaggeration. But we're over a year in with Ike, and I'm still awkward.
Becky
Yeah, you are. I saw you posted something doing, like, a nighttime chat with Ike on your Patreon. That's such a cute idea.
Kale
Oh, thanks. I,
Becky
I.
Kale
People don't like him. People don't like.
Becky
I know, but it hurts my heart
Kale
because, like, one, not trying to shove him down anyone's throat. Two, like, there was no, like, lead up love story prior to. I think that's why people fell in love with Elijah. And he's in everything because I love to be around him and we have a good time, and it's like, he's a person. Like, if I was not in a relationship with him, like, he is still such a fun and good person that it hurts my heart. I. He looks like he cheats for a living, and he used to, but he doesn't now, and he's just such a good person. That I'm like, I don't. I guess time.
Becky
People will come around. I think in time with just like the scenarios of obviously his history. I. I think people will come around.
Kale
I hope so. But I also understand on the other side of it, like, I do. Like I've seen, I'll call them like public figure couples or influencer couples where like, what is she doing with that guy? Like, I also see it from that perspective, but clearly they're with that person because they love and trust them. Right. Like, I just give people a chance. Like, he's just a guy, you know?
Becky
Yeah, I know.
Kale
You know that that hurts. But it's not my story to share. It's not my. And he's not really like a super public person. So like he's in our stuff, but it's not like he's talking about his personal life online.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
Yeah.
Becky
But all that to say, I thought that was really cute and I like that you're doing that. I think it's like a fun, like.
Kale
Okay, well, I hope other people like
Becky
it, but did the first one get. I didn't watch it.
Kale
This was fun. My takes that no one asked for. I was a single mom for some time and never ever thought of posting Happy Father's Day to me. Okay, so that was on. So cute. This was nice and wholesome. It felt like a glimpse of your life and we, we love. Without giving us details of your actual life. Like, it's bad when I have to call the dad to remind him of her birthday. Yes. Loved this. I love you guys. People are being really supportive and nice about it. So I'm actually, I hope that maybe this will just give like a glimpse of like who he is as a person.
Becky
Even if. Even if it's like a five minute recap chat about your debt. Like, that's so cute.
Kale
But yeah, I'll tell. I'll tell Ike your feedback. I'll give him your feedback. I'm excited to see you for tour, but also excited for Beck's birthday. I got a text, like an automated text text from like the online Evite situation.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
And it was like, the time has passed. You can't rsvp. Let the host know. And I was like, oh my God, of course I would forget to rsvp. And I hate when people do that to me. And then I got three RSVPs to weddings this year. Like, this must be. Either I have new friends that I like that are like just now getting married, or this is like 2026 is the year all three of them. One's in September and two is in October.
Becky
Fall weddings are great.
Kale
Yeah, I had one. I had gotten married in September. Agreed. I think that fall and spring. I feel bad for people who are like, they want a summer wedding, a beach wedding. The one wedding that I went to is a destination wedding in Mexico in the middle of July. Worst thing that they could have ever done. But I know they got a discount for doing it that way. But, like, for me, I mean, it was. So I left. I ended up leaving within. I was supposed to stay for like, four days or whatever. However, like, I was supposed to stay for several days. I went to the wedding and I left. Like, I flew home.
Becky
Was it too hot?
Kale
It was so ungodly hot that it was miserable. Like, it wasn't. And then it was also seaweed season.
Becky
Yeah, seaweed season, I feel like is all year round, though.
Kale
I think it.
Becky
Maybe our wedding was hot. That's our only regret. We obviously had to see. Not had to see. What the fuck was I gonna say? We had our wedding in July and it was hot, and I regret that. But yes.
Kale
If I ever got married again, I wouldn't even have a wedding. So
Becky
you would just elope?
Kale
Yeah. Like an elopement or like. Like a court. Just justice of the peace.
Becky
But Beck's birthday will. Like, we have our photographer that we use for all of our big moments. So she's gonna come and it'll be cute because then we can get all the kids and stuff.
Kale
Do you want me to bring my outdoor industrial fan so that if it's hot.
Becky
No, because you can go inside. People can. Like, you. Like, you can. People can go inside. People are going to be swimming. People can go inside. It's not a huge. Like, it's not huge. We didn't invite everyone, which. Oh, I have so much guilt around it too, because, like, I have my college friends and I didn't invite them because it adds like, 30 more people if I invite them.
Kale
Are they parents?
Becky
Yes. Oh, they're all. Yeah. And. But they all have kids. Right. And so it's just like, it adds so many more. But I told them that. And like, we're just really gonna tell
Kale
them they weren't invited.
Becky
What?
Kale
You had to tell them they weren't invited?
Becky
Well, they had asked if. If I was doing anything because we talk every day.
Kale
I mean, I'm a family of nine, but we're only coming with eight. But. Because Lincoln won't be here. But, like, do you want me to not bring my. Some of My kids?
Becky
No, you and all of your kids.
Kale
Well, I'm just trying to think, like,
Becky
not the amount of people. It's not like it's. Once you start inviting one, it turns into 200 people, right? Like we are just like we are. And it. I. I don't care if I'm invited to a first. Like, I don't want to go to a one year old's birthday party all the time. You know what I mean?
Kale
I was gonna ask you that. So I did not have a birthday party for the twins for first or second. We just did a home setup. Like literally five people to do cake because they're so little that. And it's also in winter. But personally, like, if I don't have my kids and I'm invited to a one year old's birthday, I'm. I might send a card and a gift, but I'm probably not gonna go.
Becky
Yeah, for sure.
Kale
Maybe that answer would have been different like a while back, but like today, like, not that I wouldn't have wanted to see you, but if that fell on a day that I didn't have all my kids, I probably wouldn't come fair. I don't, I don't.
Becky
I'm not offended if people don't want to come, you know, but like, we're just trying to. To man.
Kale
So how did you decide, like, who to invite and who not to invite?
Becky
We didn't. We didn't invite anyone that would, like, besides you, but I think you're obviously different because you're different. We didn't invite people that would have to travel here.
Kale
Okay.
Becky
We just invited the people that we are around that are here. We didn't want to put it on anyone that would have to like, travel all this way to come here.
Kale
Okay. You know, that makes sense. I get that. Insurance isn't a one size fits all, and shopping for it shouldn't feel like squeezing into something that just doesn't fit. I started Ornod in 2013 and we make bike apparel.
Becky
The best part of Shopify for me
Ad Voice
is our ability to run the business as essentially non technical people. We're able to admin everything on the back end, front end and sell things online easily. If Shopify were a bike accessory, I think it would actually be the bicycle.
Becky
It's the thing that you do the thing on. We run the business on Shopify. Start your free trial on shopify.com. We invited the people we invited to like our ceremony. We had a private ceremony, wedding ceremony.
Kale
I wonder like, well, you guys could also celebrate like if you guys could like meet up to celebrate at a later time.
Becky
For sure. Yeah, I think I'm actually going to see them a different time anyway. I, I might end up texting him and being like, listen, I feel bad if you guys, if you guys don't have anything and you want to come, come. But I might see them this weekend. So I don't know. They're. They're the only group of people that I have a really hard time with because like they are all such good friends to me and we're all such good friends to each other and we're always there for each other through like our hardest moments and all the things. But also like, like they all have kids and it's summer and driving all the way up like, I don't know.
Kale
Do they live far?
Becky
Yeah, they all live probably like two hours away.
Kale
Oh, I could see. Yeah, I mean you could always just give them the option like hey, I don't want to put this on you, but like you're more than welcome kind of deal.
Becky
Yeah, I have to talk to Leah because we're really trying not to. Our baby shower like set us over
Kale
the edge with how much it costed or what?
Becky
No, just with like, like the organization of it.
Kale
The clean up too. And that's. I was going to bring that up. Did I tell. Did I talk about me renting? Not even renting it out, like me doing that graduation party year.
Becky
No, but please speak about it.
Kale
So Becky and I got into. Not we. We're on the same page here.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
Okay.
Becky
So the room got into a disagreement.
Kale
The room at Becky's on Saturday got into a disagreement. It was like just like a debate, I guess. It wasn't like heated or anything like that, that. So I meet this Guy who I'm supposed to potentially be going into business with. Everybody that I know around here speaks very highly of him. We meet up to discuss a business opportunity, and with that, he brought his daughter to the meeting. No problem. I have no issue with that. It was nothing that she couldn't know about. And in just like having casual conversation, she says that they were having a hard time finding an Airbnb that had a pool for her graduation party. She's a graduating senior. Oh, you guys can just come to my house and have it at my house. And I don't care. Like, I don't give a. And so to me I'm like, whatever. Like, okay, they're gonna come to my house. I'm not gonna participate in the party because I barely know you. Like, I'm not gonna. You can use my house in my pool, that's fine. But I'm not gonna join your party because it's not my party. So they send over a blow up slide. They send over a tent and chairs and they're doing the food and they're so, they're nice people. Like, I had no issues with them. That caused a debate in the room because people are like, what the are you thinking? So from that, because of that, another friend of mine said, hey, can I have my stepson's birthday party here? And then from that, that my friend was like, oh, I misunderstood. My third friend, I say third friend. My second friend, third person was mentioning something about her son's graduation. And she's like, are you free on this day? We're gonna have his graduation. And I'm thinking to myself, I thought, I don't know why I thought that she was asking me if she could have that also at my house. And I was like, okay, yeah, that's fine. Like I'm free that day. Didn't realize because I go at my house. And she was like, no, at whatever. I'm like, oh, okay, well, let me know if you change your mind then. So then she texts me and was like, can I have his party at your house? I don't give a single. And the first people that had their, the daughter's graduation, I mean, not only did they offer us a plate of food, like, that was so nice. They didn't have to do that. I did not charge them. I did not ask them for anything. I just asked them to sign a waiver basically releasing me of liability if someone wanted someone were to get hurt. That's all I, I had them sign. They signed. What about their day? They Cleaned up everything. And there was not even a scrap of food on the grounds. Like, they did such a good job. And I literally texted them and was like, hey, like, you guys cleaned up so well. Like, you guys can do this anytime. So then that was, like, further, like, kill everyone. Like, Ike. And everybody was like, kill. What the. Like, what are you doing? And I'm like, like, they cleaned up after themselves. Like, what more could I ask for? Like, they needed a spot, I didn't care. And they cleaned up after themselves. What's the problem? What is the problem? And you were on my side. You were the only one on my side.
Becky
I. Yeah, the. I. I've spent so much time, energy, money, working hard for what I have, I want other people to enjoy it,
Kale
too, because, like, imagine they had to spend, like, three grand on an Airbnb at the beach or something. And then, like, I don't know. And. And then. And then it was like, well, are you charging them? Well, no. I mean, what would I even charge them? And, like, also, is that even allowed? Like, if this is not. First of all, I hope my home insurance, homeowners insurance doesn't hear this, because, I don't know, they might drop me, but, like, do you know what I mean? Like, what, what would I. Hey, you can have it at my house. But I, I, I'm taking a 200, like, fee. Like, I don't even. Like, what would you even say?
Becky
Yeah, I. Community. That's. You know, if someone told me they
Kale
were cold at the Wawa, right here, I'd take my shirt off and give it to them.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
Like, I don't give a. Like, I don't care. And I just was like, why? I don't know. I guess I see both sides of it because Jess and Tracy were like, like, that wouldn't. What did Jess say that said she.
Becky
She would.
Kale
That would not. She said that would not even have crossed her mind to offer her own house. And I laughed because I'm like, yeah,
Becky
I guess she also said that, like, she wouldn't. She could never even ask someone. Like, she won't even ask her brother if she could have something at his house.
Kale
How do you feel about it?
Becky
It. I mean, I. We're on the same page. I, like, please come use if. If I have friends in the area or anyone. Like, come use my pool. Like, I spend so much money on this thing. I don't use it that much. Like, please come use it if. So when we. I forget someone was talking about getting married, I'm like, you Guys can get married at my house. I don't care. They're like, really? I was like, I don't. The hell do I care? I think as long as there's zero weight that I have to give or zero thought that I have to give to it, have at it.
Kale
I think, too, that, like, it's a liability. And I see that aspect of it. I do see that aspect of it. And it's like, people do target me just because they think I have money or they think, you know, they can get something out of me, and I do get that aspect of it. But, like, I don't know. The people that used it for the graduation party, I. I'm here to say, if you're listening, like, you did a great job. It was great music. I heard it from my bed. And, like, you cleaned up. Thank you so much. I literally text them. I was like, you can do it anytime. I said, if your daughter ever wants to use the pool when we're not home, like, they sign the waiver. I don't care. She's.
Becky
So the difference between you and I is I wouldn't have been in my bed, like, because I was like, oh, what kind of food did they have?
Kale
They did have good food, though.
Becky
I would have been joining the party with. With them.
Kale
No, Ike did walk around, like, he was, like, walking around outside and, like, be bopping around.
Becky
Well, that's because I feel like Ike and I are similar in personality that way.
Kale
But I had all the kids, and it just would have been like, I'm not trying to ruin someone's graduation party with a bunch of toddlers. You know what I mean? Like, that probably wouldn't have been a good time for them. So anyways, I say all this to say, like, what would y' all do? Would you agree to let someone do it? I mean, and then the. The mom texted me and was like, hey, like, they're gonna come at this time to pick up the water slide. Feel free to use it until then. So did, like, they were having a great time on the water slide, and we didn't even pay for it, so they got, like, a couple hours out of that, and so I felt like it was a good deal.
Becky
Speaking of the water slide, did you decide to buy one?
Kale
So I didn't decide I would like to buy one. I don't know where to get it, though. And because all the rental places, like, I was like, oh, well, I'll just rent one one weekend for the summer. Like, for the kids.
Becky
Kids.
Kale
They're all booked up already. Like you can't you. I guess you book pretty far in advance. So I was like, at that point I might as well just buy one. I don't know where to buy it.
Becky
I think that they have like distributors for them.
Kale
Okay. So if anyone has a link for me to buy, I'll even buy a used one if it doesn't have any holes in it. Because my kids actually will. Because my kids do 5050 in the summertime. It's so exciting for them when they come home because they have different stuff at different houses. So I think it would get so much use in the summertime because it would be like an every other week thing. It's not like it's out there like a trampoline every single day. Although I will say that we've gotten really good use out of our trampoline as well.
Becky
I was just talking to Leah yesterday because we had someone come and give us a quote to add a stamp. Concrete patio at the back of the house and sidewalks like from the house to the pool. And I was like, oh, should we do it like a in ground trampoline?
Kale
I've done both and if I. Are you asking for my advice at all or. Okay, I've done both and if I could give you any advice. 1. Do the in ground one will not be good for adults. The adults will jump and hit the bottom. But if it's. If we're talking strictly for kids, 1000% wish that I would have done an in ground one again. But also your homeowners insurance, if they find out that you have an above ground trampoline, they might not allow it or they might raise your rate. And if you have an in ground one, they might not.
Becky
Oh, good to know.
Kale
Just look into that.
Becky
Because I, like, I could dig a hole. Like it's not like it costs more.
Kale
They make one specifically for in ground.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
Which is what I have. I had.
Becky
You have one. Yeah.
Kale
Yeah. I didn't do it this time because the dirt, the soil here is a little bit different than my old house. House. But when we move, we're 1000% putting it in the ground.
Becky
But couldn't you just dig deeper into an adult won't hit the ground.
Kale
Yeah. But I had a company come do it. So they just did exactly what specs were on the trampoline.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale
So but I'll send you the. The link to the 1. I'm sure there's more companies since I had one because when I had mine, I think it was like when they were Mostly new.
Becky
Yeah. So I think we are gonna actually do this the do the patio up back. There's two like cement things that I want to do. They're both similar in cost but I, I don't think we can budget for both of them right now. But I think we're going to do the patio. I'll send you a picture of what I want it to kind of look like.
Kale
Okay.
Becky
And I can do the trampoline. But be how old do kid are kids when they can start enjoying a trampoline?
Kale
He'd probably like it now just to crawl around on it.
Becky
True. Liz gonna kill me.
Kale
I get the twins are two and they love it. We have an indoor one too.
Becky
Oh yeah, yeah.
Kale
And they love it.
Becky
Cool. Okay, well, I'll look into.
Kale
I'm gonna go to therapy. So unfortunately I don't have time for. Is it karma or is it chaos? Okay, I guess the graduation is my own. Is it karma or is it chaos? Like yeah, fair, let that be it. You know what I mean?
Becky
Well, that's it folks. This hour flew by quick.
Kale
It really did.
Becky
It really.
Kale
I was like, oh, I don't even. But need to go get my meds, need to go to therapy. Okay, love you guys so much.

Kail Lowry & Becky Hayter (PodcastOne)
June 16, 2026
In this heartfelt and unfiltered episode, Kail and Becky dive deep into the realities of adult life, navigating everything from family milestones and personal growth to friendships, grief, and the chaos (and humor) of maintaining homes and budgets in 2026. “Let’s just stop cheating. If you're listening and actively cheating, don’t do it … If you’ve been cheated on, you are not crazy. You’ve been emotionally manipulated…” – Becky (19:22)
