Kale Lowry
This is my fourth podcast of the day. And your third.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
This is your fifth?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
This is your fifth? What?
Kale Lowry
No, no, this is my.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Her fourth of the day.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Her fifth of the day?
Kale Lowry
No, it's my fifth. Oh yeah.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Why the. I forgot about Jody. Completely in my brain. That was. Never happened. No. Literally never happened. Like, it was gone.
Kale Lowry
Wait, I recorded five episodes today.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
And y' all said I don't have a job.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Me?
Kale Lowry
No. Oh, the trolls.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I'm editing that out. Oh, come on.
GoFundMe User
Leave it in.
Kale Lowry
The Patreon exclusive.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
The amount of times that there is the words. I'm editing that out.
Podcast Host / Announcer
That's not true. We.
Kale Lowry
We do all of our episodes go right to Lush.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Every single episode. It is said at least twice. I'm editing that out.
Kale Lowry
What do you have on the list for me today?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I have nothing on the list today.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Today we're gonna do a fun question game.
Kale Lowry
I'm excited for this because it's how
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
to fall in love.
Shopify User / Business Owner
Right?
Kale Lowry
How long does it take you to fall in love with a person?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
You already asked me this.
Kale Lowry
And what was your answer? How about you, Alessandra?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
A long time.
Kale Lowry
How about you, Madison?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Six to seven months. At six months. Currently, definitely in love. Oh, six to seven months.
Kale Lowry
That's insane.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
No, it's not.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yes, it is.
Kale Lowry
It is.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
But, like, I think there's different levels of love. Like, I think there's surface level love. I think there's deep love. I think there's the difference between being in love with a person and loving a person.
Kale Lowry
How long does it take you to fall in love with someone?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Two seconds.
Kale Lowry
Same.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
But that's not real.
Kale Lowry
No, it is.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
No.
Kale Lowry
Yes, it is.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Two seconds.
Kale Lowry
No, not two seconds.
Podcast Host / Announcer
That is so for real.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I know you did.
Kale Lowry
You can fall in love with someone,
Leah (Kale's Partner)
have a conversation with someone in a day.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
That was different levels of love.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Nobody knows where it's going. Nobody knows where it's going on that. At that moment. But you can still fall in love in that time.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Yeah.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
With. With that being said, here are 36 questions. To fall in love. Are we gonna fall in love by the end of this, me and you? Yeah.
Kale Lowry
I thought we already were. Why are you doing this?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay, let's simmer down. Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest? Would you want.
Kale Lowry
Am I answering this like I want Becky to be there, or is this.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Now you're answering the question.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
It's your own opinion. It's for us to get to know each other more.
Kale Lowry
Can you read the question again?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Given the choice of anyone in the world, whomst would you want as a dinner guest?
Kale Lowry
Am I answering this out loud?
Podcast Host / Announcer
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Post Malone.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Interesting.
Kale Lowry
Me and Postie would just vibe out. You know what I mean?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I'm gonna go with Michelle Obama.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Wow.
Kale Lowry
We didn't have to be intellectual for that.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I just think it would be a really great conversation. I feel like I would learn a lot from her.
Kale Lowry
Great. And I was just going out of pure selfishness. I don't know why you had to do that.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Number two, Would you like to be famous? In what way and why?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Oh, I know.
Kale Lowry
I would not like to be famous. And I would like to be rich.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I would like to be famous for finding the cure for cancer.
Kale Lowry
I'm done with you today. I thought we were doing this for funsies. And you're giving.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
It's a. It's a serious thing is a second
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
question into the 45 minute quiz. They're definitely not falling in love.
Kale Lowry
We are not compatible in any way. Thank you. And you're a Virgo.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say?
Kale Lowry
Why, yes, I do. Mainly because I want to get off the phone, so I have to think of what my exit strategy is. Kristen's the only person I like talking to on the phone, so I don't do that to her.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay, good.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I'm never calling you again.
Kale Lowry
You don't call me. You FaceTime me. And that was not the category that was asked.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
No, I don't, like, think about what I'm going to say before I call. I've never done that in my life.
Kale Lowry
No, I don't want to talk to random people on the phone ever.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay. What would constitute a perfect day for you?
Podcast Host / Announcer
A day or date day?
Kale Lowry
The pool and a book and snacks.
Podcast Host / Announcer
Snacks, Snacks.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I think I would start my morning. Give it to me.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay. What time are we waiting?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I think that I would start my morning off with maybe nine holes of golf and then go to the diner with all the people that I love and then go back to my pool. I would definitely agree with that. And hang out by the pool, order some pizza, have a movie night. That would be a great day.
Kale Lowry
I love that for you.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Can't wait to do that together. Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Not without me.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I knew that was.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
When did you last sing to yourself?
Kale Lowry
This morning.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Today.
Kale Lowry
When? What'd you sing?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I was just singing before.
Kale Lowry
I don't know. I just hum a tune sometimes.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay, and when was the last time you sang to someone else?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Last night.
Kale Lowry
I don't know.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I love Leroni.
Kale Lowry
Is that your song?
Pluto TV Advertiser
Yeah.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Then she'll go, I love Becca Rose.
Kale Lowry
Lesbians are so fun.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
It's also like Becky and Leah. Like, they are the quintessential millennials. Like when you think of millennials, like, that's who I think of. I love Becca.
Kale Lowry
Ron, who is the golden retriever and who's the black cat in your relationship?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I'm probably the golden retriever, but I
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
don't think Lee is a black cat.
Podcast Host / Announcer
I don't either.
Kale Lowry
Maybe gray, maybe. Maybe a tabby cat.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Too soon, you know.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Oh.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Oh, that was up.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I'm so sorry.
Kale Lowry
Why did you do?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Well, like, why is she blaming you
Kale Lowry
as the next question. Oh, no, that was. I'm so sorry.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I'm hot. I'm literally sweating.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
No, she is literally crying.
Kale Lowry
Can we move on?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Oh, my God.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Okay.
Becca Tobin
Wow.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30 year old for the last 6 years of your life, which would you want?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Mind. Ah, wait, I answered that real quick. I thought you said six years.
Kale Lowry
You are 90 years old. Would you rather retain the mind or the body?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
No, I'm still going with mind.
Kale Lowry
I'm gonna be so morbid. I.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
We know.
Kale Lowry
I just want to die.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Yeah, okay, but just pick one. If you had to gun to your head.
Kale Lowry
Body. Yeah, I'm. I'm already insane. So, like, if I'm 90 and I don't have the mind, you know what I mean? Of like, younger, I'm still insane, so it doesn't make a difference. Did you say mind or body?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I said mind.
Kale Lowry
I'm proud of you. At least one of us is normal.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I mean, I watched my dad, like, literally, like, lose all of his mind, and that was like the worst part of.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Do you like when you. No, but like, okay, listen to Becky.
Kale Lowry
Can't keep doing this. I really can't.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
She's literally. Okay. This is the last episode. Thank you so much for listening to the 15 minutes of the last episode of Karma Chaos ever. Thank you. No, like, okay. No, because my question with that situation, Becky, do you think it's worse for the person going through it or the family? Like, because you're not as aware of it when you're going through it, do you think?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
No.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
No.
Kale Lowry
So it's worse for the family, the
Leah (Kale's Partner)
people around the family? Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Yeah. I mean, I watched my grandma go through the same thing.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Like, people at 90 aren't like, there are physically capable 90 year olds. It's not like you're automatically losing your. You're just like, can't run or jump, but, like, you still have, like, body autonomy. Yeah, I'm not just like, assuming I'm paralyzed at 90.
Kale Lowry
I am.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah. So, like, you could still function as a 90 year old. I'd rather be able to enjoy the like. And people around me, you know.
Kale Lowry
Yeah. Don't ask any more questions like that. I can't with her. Answers are like, well, that's why you're not. I want to jump.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
If anybody ever gives a rumor that they're dating again, just this is going to dispel it.
Kale Lowry
Okay. This is one reason 169 why we are not compatible or dating.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
69.
Kale Lowry
I can't do anything right. Like, what is going on?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
That's funny. Okay. That's funny. Are we okay?
Meltdown Oven Advertiser
No.
Kale Lowry
And everyone's gonna hate us. It's fine.
Podcast Host / Announcer
Grilling season is finally here. And let's be honest, the difference between a good cookout and a great one comes down to the quality of your meat. Funny enough, there was a story that Sterling and I cannot stop telling. Usually when we get together, we always talk about it. We had this big 4th of July party one year and I was so upset about the meat because it felt like we were cutting off so much of and she was like, kale, just cook it off. And I'm like, no, you have to cut it off. But you don't have to worry about that if you use Butcherbox. Okay. ButcherBox delivers over 100 premium protein options straight to your door, from grass fed beef to wild caught seafood. And there will be less scraps from cutting off these pieces of meat. Just clean, reliable protein that you can feel good about serving. I absolutely love it. I did order pretty much every single meat because Ike does eat fish. I don't. We also get our beef from there and our chicken. We absolutely love it. Plus, it's super flexible, so you can customize your box with what you're actually cooking. And it all ships free with recipes, grilling tips and exclusive deals. So whether you're a beginner or a grill master, you kind of have everything to make it a great grilling season. Do you have a secret hunch about how you will die?
Kale Lowry
I do have a secret hunch about how I'm gonna die.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
It's not secret.
Kale Lowry
It's gonna be thousands of people know. I do. I don't have to say it. Do you? I also. If it's not the way that I want to go out, if I ever get murdered, I really need you guys to push for an episode on Dateline.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
You've been telling me for five years.
Kale Lowry
Okay, I just drill it In.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I know.
Kale Lowry
I'm manifesting.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
No, no, you're manifesting being murdered.
Kale Lowry
No, no, no, no. Manifesting getting an episode of Dateline because I murdered. Do you know what I mean? Like, I wanted to be so dramatic.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Heavy on the if. Okay. Manifesting only the if.
Kale Lowry
The if.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Right.
Kale Lowry
What's your, like, situation, Your plan? Exit strategy? Old age. I love that for you.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
My kid would kill me with morphine.
Kale Lowry
Oh, I'm. That's what I'm hoping for for me
Leah (Kale's Partner)
of old age, though. Like, when I'm ready to go, they're just, like, injected in.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Yeah. Name the three things you and your partner appear to have in common.
Kale Lowry
Oh, we have in common. Oh, we dress the same.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Where? When? In your parallel universe. What are we talking about here? Hello, Patricia.
Kale Lowry
I can't do this job anymore. I can't.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
All right, I'll answer. We both are business oriented.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
We're what?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Business oriented.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Can't answer.
Kale Lowry
You can.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
We are both business oriented. Right. Like, we have business mindsets. Yeah. Wanting to do fun. We work. We are both very, like, hard workers.
Podcast Host / Announcer
I would agree.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
And we both love your kids a lot.
Kale Lowry
Oh, I love that.
Podcast Host / Announcer
We also love Leo a lot.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Yeah.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Okay, next question.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
For what in your life do you feel the most grateful?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Oh.
Kale Lowry
Oh, wow. Don't make me cry at this point. You know what I mean? No, everything.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
What?
Kale Lowry
Truly everything. Grateful for everything.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
No, you have to be specific.
Kale Lowry
Specific. Oh, my God. Grateful for the listeners of this podcast that allow me to pay my bills, to take care of my family, and give me the flexibility and structure to provide for my children.
Shopify User / Business Owner
Porch.
Kale Lowry
Because if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be able to do any of that. Like, I wouldn't be able to do anything.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Thanks for listening.
Kale Lowry
What are you grateful for?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I would say, Leah, I love that. I mean, everything boils down. Like, anything I have in life boils down because of her.
Kale Lowry
So that's really romantic.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
That's my girl.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay. If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be?
Podcast Host / Announcer
Everything.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
How much time do we have?
Kale Lowry
I wish my mom fed me more.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I gotta see myself out.
Kale Lowry
One time this lady called me.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
No, no, I know, it's not funny.
Kale Lowry
I know.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
It's about to be so traumatizing.
Kale Lowry
Her name was Nancy, and we're friends on Facebook. And she called me and was like. She was like, your mom used to leave you in the crib, go to the bar, and I used to climb through your window to get you because I was just crying in the crib. You know what I mean? Like, literally and figuratively. It was like the crib, but also like the crib you get was rough. So she's telling me this and I was like, oh, I love that for me. So I wish she didn't do that. I'm thankful for Nancy.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
And you wish your mom fudgy horn didn't leave you in the crib. Physically and metaphor,
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Roger.
Kale Lowry
Thanks, Susie. What are. What are you wishing that was different about your childhood?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I wish I had more diversity and representation.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
You can't. Like, you can't compare, especially. Yeah, what the hell? Like, what are you gonna do?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I was fed, dude.
Grainger Advertiser
Like, sorry.
Kale Lowry
I was fed. Yeah, my. My bad.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
You know what? You should watch this episode on patreon at like 8 o' clock with a glass of wine. Yeah, for sure. Be on the same vibes as us.
Hospice Nurse Julie
Okay.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
For sure.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Not that we're drunk or on edibles. We're just deliriously tired.
Kale Lowry
It's been a long, long week.
Lowe's Advertiser
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Take four minutes and tell your partner your life story in as much detail. We don't have to.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
No, we don't have to do that. No, we can skip that. How about we do it in a minute?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
No, listen to the last 18.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Eight years of coffee convos, coffee combos. Read pride over pity. Read. We can skip all the things. Yeah.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay. If you could. Okay. If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be?
Kale Lowry
I wish I was funny.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Okay, let's be real.
Kale Lowry
I wish I was. You are.
Podcast Host / Announcer
No, like, real funny.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
You are real funny.
Kale Lowry
Like, like witty funny.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
You are witty.
Kale Lowry
Okay, when I think of funny, I think of, like, the one liners. Like the one.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah, yeah, that's fine.
Kale Lowry
Liners that are so like Lindsay Lux. Like the one liners that, like, Lindsay will just run her mouth and be so.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Lindsay is very funny.
Kale Lowry
I want to be that kind of funny.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
You are funny.
Kale Lowry
Not like her, though.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Okay.
Kale Lowry
What do you want to be?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
My quality would be maybe a little smarter from like a.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
A book.
Kale Lowry
Academically.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Academically smarter.
Hospice Nurse Julie
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Fair.
Kale Lowry
Me too.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Like, I wish I could consume and remember.
Kale Lowry
Retain.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah, love. That's it.
Kale Lowry
Also same.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future, or anything else, what would you want to know?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I don't know if I want to know anything because that's really heavy to like, think of.
Kale Lowry
What were. What were the things that it was
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
like, you can ask the future about yourself or anything at all.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
What would I ask? I. I Wouldn't ask, like, when I die, because then I wouldn't. I don't want to know when I die. I don't want to ask how many kids I have, because what if they say zero and then I already expect to have some and then it's like, oh, do my kids die? Oh, I know what I would ask. I would ask what I'm supposed to do in life so that I start it now.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I like that.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
I would ask it if
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
where Susie Q is.
Kale Lowry
I know, I'm funny.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
It's the trauma.
Kale Lowry
I really don't know. I feel like maybe, like, will my life ever calm down?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
You have seven kids.
Kale Lowry
I know, but like, and that is chaotic in and of itself. But I just wonder, like, will the like the drama aspect ever calm down? You know what I mean?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Yeah, yeah. Because the chaos you're talking about isn't your day to day chaos of like your schedule and your kids. Like, when you talk about chaos, you mean like the dress that you can't control, like, the drama and like the outside, like, anxiety of not knowing what shoe is gonna drop or, like, what is gonna have something stupid to say? Exactly.
Kale Lowry
Yeah, exactly. And a lot people are like, well, Kale creates the own, like the chaos in her own life. And I, while I think part of that is true, and I do create, like from the decisions that I make, I create some amount of chaos. But I do think that at least 50 comes from people that I cannot control what they say or what they do or what they post. And so I just wonder if any of that will calm down at all.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Is there something that you dreamed of doing for a long time?
Kale Lowry
I want to be an attorney. I want to be a lawyer.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay, and why haven't you done it?
Kale Lowry
Because when I was going to take the LSATs during COVID I ended up having Creed and then it was homeschooling and then I pushed it off. I had Rio, and then I pushed it off again and I had the twins. So maybe when they go to kindergarten,
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I'd like to start a non profit.
Kale Lowry
Oh, cute.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
And why haven't you? That was the question.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I think I have enough on my plate right now.
Kale Lowry
You don't say.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I think I'll eventually start one. Maybe we'll start one together.
Kale Lowry
Oh, I would love that.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Honestly, I've always had this idea of creating a non profit that is like a summer camp for specifically like underprivileged and foster kids that they get. They come the first. When they come, they stay intense. And then throughout the summer they build where they're gonna live. So they build like a cabin. So it teaches them how to like serve like skills and stuff too so they can learn maybe aspects of what they would want to do.
Kale Lowry
I really cool like like carpentry and stuff like that.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Like electric and like stuff like. Yeah. So you essentially are building out like little cabins that like you would live
Kale Lowry
in habitats for humanity sort of.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
But like it would be more of like, like enjoy. Like there would be more summer camp. Summer camp vibes too. Like to it as well. Like teaching like I don't know skills. Yeah. And no. And like bonding with other kids and xyz.
Hospice Nurse Julie
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
That's really cute. I like that.

What is the greatest accomplishment of your life?
Kale Lowry
I don't know that I've made my
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
greatest accomplishment yet, but what's like so far?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I would say allowing myself to become a better person to deserve the life that I have now.
Podcast Host / Announcer
That's deep.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I mean, I mean it took a lot of work to like grow so like I feel worthy of what I have and like I didn't always deserve to have the life I have. I don't think.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Why?
Kale Lowry
Why?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Just like, I don't think like, not that I was a bad person, but like, I like, I don't think that my intentions were like. I don't know, I was just a little bit. I don't want to say too much, but trying to navigate where I belonged. I think that I wasn't always being true to myself and then like being a good partner, being a good, good friend. I think I've like grown a lot in that area.
Kale Lowry
Okay. Fair. I mean, I still think like when we fell out, like we were at our worst and I still feel like you deserved the world then too.
UnitedHealth Group Narrator
Yeah.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I don't know if I. Yeah. I mean, thanks, but I don't know.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
You're always going to be our harshest critic. True. Yeah.
Kale Lowry
I don't have an answer. I really don't.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Definitely not. The rebrand.
Kale Lowry
The rebrand was nuts.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay. What do you value most in a friendship?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Ooh, presence and intention.
Kale Lowry
I don't know. These are hard. Yeah, like I didn't get the value most in a friendship.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I think you value loyalty the most in friendships.
Kale Lowry
That's what for that was like.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Because that's what bring to mind that would be the pious thing that would break your friendship is like that lack of loyalty and trust. Trust.
Kale Lowry
It's just sort of nuanced and layered and like sort of complicated because that is only one the loyalty with like media and social media.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah, but that's in that relevant to your life.
Kale Lowry
Yeah, but I don't necessarily like some friends that I Have. Are not social media.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
But loyalty is. It doesn't just have to do with, like, social media. It has to do with, like, knowing that someone's gonna have your back no
Leah (Kale's Partner)
matter what, in a room you're not in.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Like.
Kale Lowry
No, I know, but when I think of it, when she says that, I think of the loyalty in terms of, like, not running to the Internet. That's what I think of as loyalty.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay. Like, okay, I know that you always. You used to say that you don't have a village. You've stopped that.
Kale Lowry
Yeah, I don't. I definitely feel like I have.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Yeah, you do. But so then do you think that, like, showing up, like, being there without asking? Because, like, I feel like you have a hard time. I. Like, you have a hard time asking for help.
Kale Lowry
Fair. So, yeah. Showing up, anticipating needs.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Love it.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Sexy.
Kale Lowry
Sexy.

What is your most treasured memory?
Kale Lowry
My mom cooked for me in ninth grade. I just talked about it, like, a week ago.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
That's your most treasured memory with your mom?
Kale Lowry
Yeah, it's the only time that she ever cooked for me in ninth grade.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Like, why? Like, what?
Kale Lowry
Because my boyfriend came over, so I asked her to make food, and she was, like, good.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
She wasn't, like, super.
Kale Lowry
I don't really remember. Also, she didn't yell at me when her dog ate weed once.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I'm sorry, what?
Kale Lowry
And it had to get its stomach.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
What the.
Kale Lowry
I think that they're yell at me, though.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
There's a lot to uncover here that when you think of your most treasured memory.
Kale Lowry
With my mom.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Did it say with your mom?
Kale Lowry
Yeah, no, I was saying with my mom.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I know.
Kale Lowry
The most treasured memory.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah, but it didn't say with your mom. Like. But, like, your automatic mind went to your mom, which is wild.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Well, she's got a deep.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Oh, I know, but, like.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I know, I know. That's interesting.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I mean. Yeah.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Yeah.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Crazy.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
You should talk to your therapist about that one.
Kale Lowry
One time on the podcast, they asked me what my deepest treasured. My deep treasured memory was, and it was. Yeah, I'll tell Lisa. I have. I have therapy on Monday, so she should just listen.
GoFundMe User
Wow.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
No, she said she definitely should listen to this one. And Poppy. God, folks,
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I'm gonna give two treasured memories because my. This is gonna sound really morbid, but my dad, like, the surrounding days before my dad died, I think are, like. Because my whole family was there. I really value that time. And then when Lee and I got engaged, it was also.
Kale Lowry
I. We weren't friends when y' all got Engaged. So can you tell me the story?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah, it's. I'll tell it another time.
Kale Lowry
Oh, is it long?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
A little bit.
Kale Lowry
Okay.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
What is your most terrible memory?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Literally anything about Kale's mom.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Being told anything about Kale's mom.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Any of it.
Kale Lowry
Susie, this one's for you.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Do you know I can't eat Ferrero Rocher anymore?
Kale Lowry
Oh, one time my mom starved me.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Did you take a picture?
Kale Lowry
No, my flashlight was on. On accident. Left me home for several days by myself. And there was no food in the house. So I'm digging through the cabinets and you know those, like, gift baskets that have, like, cellophane wrap on them that you give around like Christmas or whatever? My mom had one that was like, years and years old. Like, I couldn't tell you how many years old it was. I don't even know why she still had it. And so I ate the Ferrero Rocher out of that basket that was years and years old. They're little hazelnut chocolates. And I was so tormented inside because then I had to hide the basket that I, like, like, opened. And I didn't know why. It was, like, being saved. So I thought my mom was, like, attached to this basket. And so finally I told her about it, and she wasn't mad, but I was so concerned that she was gonna be upset that I ate the chocolate out of the 12 year old chocolate basket. I don't know. Eight, nine. It was rough. That was the same apartment I lived in. When I walked my uncle's house, which I'm gonna see that uncle next week, which will be nice.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I think you should do a group trip for EMDR therapy.
Kale Lowry
Everybody turned out okay.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Did we?
Kale Lowry
I wonder where Susie was that those days.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Oh, she probably don't know. She probably don't remember.
Kale Lowry
She was blacked out.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay. She don't know. If you knew that in one year you would die suddenly, would you change anything about the way you are now living?
Kale Lowry
Yeah, I would. If I knew I was gonna die in a year, I would get off of all social media and I would just be present in every single thing.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Why?
Kale Lowry
I wouldn't want my kids to remember and be present and not worried about anything. Anything else.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I mean, I would quit working, but, like, that's not realistic for someone to do. But I think otherwise. I'm living a life that I'd be happy to live, like the last year of my life. But, like, not working would give me more time to just be more, like a little more present.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Yeah, that's really Nice.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I wouldn't get off social media, though. I'd be like, day 99.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Becky. Ms. Becky said she was gonna pretend suicide on live.
Kale Lowry
So what? I forgot about that. You said that girl.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
You weren't here.
Kale Lowry
What
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
podcast.
Kale Lowry
She said this?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
When I asked you guys, like, if you had to fake your death, how would you do it? And she said she would fake her. A drowning, like a suicide. I don't know why online. You were here.
Kale Lowry
No, I wasn't.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
What did I say? That was Patricia.
Kale Lowry
What did I say?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Probably not even disappear. Like, flat out disappear.
Kale Lowry
No trace. Disappeared without. What's that show on ID channel? I think it's Disappeared without a Trace. Yeah.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Yeah, that would be me.
Kale Lowry
The Curious Case of Kale Lowry.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
She said I would disappear without a trace. What's the name of that show?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I think Disappears without a Trace.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I'm really tired because, like, I don't think anybody listening to this is gonna think it's okay. As funny as we do. We're so delirious.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I think they will. I think they'll enjoy this episode.
Kale Lowry
This might be Patreon exclusive.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
No, they. They enjoyed the last time we did this.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
They sure did. I think it took me nine hours to edit that episode.
Kale Lowry
Fair. Over time,

There is a version of you that sleeps through the entire night, okay? Thinks clearly and actually think. Feels like yourself again. You haven't lost her. You just need a little support. And that's where I want to tell you about Biologica. Biologica is a drinkable daily supplement that goes well beyond a multivitamin. They brought together a comprehensive vitamin and mineral foundation, probiotics, electrolytes, and clinically researched botanicals all in one drink. So there's no more juggling a handful of pills, trying to recover and cover all your bases. Okay. These are what I'm taking in between my tour stops, too, because I'm so scared of getting sick or I just not taking care of myself, maybe stressed out. What makes it different is that it's not a one size fits all. Biologica has three formulas designed for different hormonal life stages. So you're actually supporting your body based on where you are right now. I love how easy it is. And you can't taste it. You just throw it in your drink and you have no idea it's there. So they have the primary essentials, midlife essentials, and then post menopause essentials. I'm currently using the primary essentials. This is for women roughly between 18 and 45 in their reproductive years. It's supports mood, skin energy and cycle comfort, which is something I definitely need and desperately need. Flavor is great and it's super easy. You just put it in a drink and you'll notice that your your bloating is clearing up. Your skin will clear up, your hair will feel pretty good, and then there's more clarity. You'll get a boost in your mood, energy and more patience. If you've tried a bunch of other things in the past and they're not really working, there's no harm in trying this. So you guys can head to biologica.com karma to get started. You'll take their quick Hormonal Life stage quiz to find the formula that's right for you. And right now subscribers can receive up to 32 off their purchase. What does friendship mean to you?
Kale Lowry
Oh, why do you have to ask these deep questions? I don't want to talk about my feelings.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
We shouldn't have done this.
Kale Lowry
What does friendship mean to you?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Friendship for me means having a community to allow yourself to take risks in life and enjoy life to the fullest because you have a support system to fall back on.
Kale Lowry
My friends are my family because I don't have one. So.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah, yeah.
Kale Lowry
Is there snacks? Because my stomach's growling. Okay.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
With snacks. Snacks.
Kale Lowry
Get snacks.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Okay. Get snacks. Okay. What roles do you love and affection play in your life?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
A lot. I need a lot of love and Validation to make me feel like, secure like that. If I don't have flea, like, walks into the room and doesn't acknowledge me in like a physical way, I'm like, same. So love and affection, like, is why I am who I am and that's what, like, fuels me as a person. So without that, I don't know what I would be.

Leah (Kale's Partner)
I mean, I had a pretty traumatic childhood, but I think overall, like, from a. Like, I was fed. I was, like, set up for success. I was given. Given resources and given access to resources and things of those sorts. But, like, I think we're all. Most of us have some sort of experience from being raised by boomers that, like, will always kind of be traumatizing. Right. The lack of emotional intelligence, a lack of, like, physical, like, love and things of those sorts.

Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Share with your partner an embarrassing moment in your life.
Kale Lowry
No, no, no, we're not doing this one. Pat us, babe. No, no.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
The amount.
Kale Lowry
Pass. Literally no.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
The amount of embarrassing stories you have told on this podcast about her. No, like, about your life.
Kale Lowry
Oh, thank God. I thought she was gonna have to say an embarrassing thing about me, and I'm not prepared.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
No, she didn't listen to the question.
Kale Lowry
Oh, Lindsay makes up and people believe it.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
What?
Podcast Host / Announcer
Lindsay.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Oh, yeah, she do. Be she to play like that.
Kale Lowry
And I'm like, that is not true. Okay, embarrassing thing that you've done.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
That you've done. You say you've been embarrassed.
Kale Lowry
You go first. I want to know what level of embarrassing we're talking about.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
One time. Ugh, this makes me so sick to even think about. This is one of the worst times of my life. One time, this. This person called my job looking for free T shirts, and she told me she had cancer, and I forgot to mute the phone, and I said, hey, this lady's saying she has cancer and trying to use her cancer to get free T shirts. And she heard me, and I am so sorry if you're listening to this. And it was you. I hope you're still alive. It makes me fucking sick to think
Kale Lowry
about the most horrible thing I've ever heard. You did that.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I was so hot. I've never forgot to mute a phone ever since. Dude. Oh, my God, I'm hot.
Kale Lowry
She said, if you're listening to this,
Leah (Kale's Partner)
if you're still alive, I am so sorry.
Shopify User / Business Owner
That was.
Meltdown Oven Advertiser
That was.
Kale Lowry
How many jobs have you had?
Lowe's Advertiser
A lot.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I did custom apparel.
Kale Lowry
When was that?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I was 23.
Kale Lowry
And you still remember it?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Oh, my God. It was traumatized. It was so embarrassing. I did. And she said, like. And she said something. She's like, never mind. Like, thank you. Anyway, and then hung up. And I was like, oh, my God.
Kale Lowry
When was the realization that you forgot to mute.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
No, she, like, acknowledged that I didn't mute it. Like, she said, like, I forget what? Like, oh, it makes me sick. Okay, your turn.
Kale Lowry
I got my period in the seventh grade in front of everyone.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
That does not compare to the story.
Kale Lowry
I can't think off the top. There's so. I'm so embarrassed by my own self. Okay.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
When did you last cry in front of another person or by yourself?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Today?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I probably.
Kale Lowry
Yeah, probably yesterday.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yesterday. I think I cried four times. So. Okay.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
The day before.
Podcast Host / Announcer
Why were you.
Kale Lowry
Why were you crying?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
My cat was like, stop.
Kale Lowry
I'm sorry.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I think you have amnesia.
Kale Lowry
Not. Okay.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
You know, like, 50 first dates. Like. Like, is there any.
Kale Lowry
Like, when I'm having a guest on. It's like, is there anything. You Is off limits.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
She's like.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
She's like, please stop my cat. Yeah.
Kale Lowry
I'm really not calculating.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Oh, I. Yeah. Very aware. Yeah.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I'm right here.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I am in this room.
Kale Lowry
So sorry.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about?
Kale Lowry
Dad's dying, cat's going missing.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Too bad. We laugh about all those things.
Kale Lowry
Like, we are going straight to hell first class.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I think maybe, like, other people's losses and other people's, like, pain is probably too far. But I was thinking about it today or yesterday, like, I made, like, a weird cat joke to Leah, and making morbid dead dad jokes, like, is what got me through my dad dying. And, like, making cat jokes has also helped me get through it. So, like, I don't know if there is off limits of joking.
Podcast Host / Announcer
No.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
But I think when you just accept it.
Kale Lowry
Jokes about yourself. Self.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Your situation, yourself. But, like, if someone I didn't know was making jokes about, like, my mom, I would be like, oh, we're gonna fight.
Meltdown Oven Advertiser
That's what I mean.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah, like. Like, other people's pain. Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Like, y' all make fun of my mom is funny to me.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
But, like, a random person on the street is gonna catch these McDonald's.
Kale Lowry
This guy was, like, talking to my mom. He went to my high school, and I jumped over the counter and tried to fight him. So it was like, I can talk about her, but you can't.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
If you were to die this evening with no opportunity to communicate with anyone, what would you most regret? Not on.
Kale Lowry
And I love them, I think, but
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
do you have anybody in your life that you love?
Kale Lowry
There's a couple people I would like to apologize to. And then also just certain people telling them I love them because I don't answer FaceTime calls, and I don't always intentionally reach out. Not. It's not unintentionally either.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
I just, like, don't.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
You're not in a space of your life where you're intentionally like working on your friendships.
Kale Lowry
So I think like apologizing to some people and then also I love you.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I don't think I have anything I would tell anyone. I don't have any people I would want to apologize to. The people I love know that I love them. I would hope at least.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
And why haven't you told them already?
Kale Lowry
Me, I don't really like to talk about my feelings.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
No. Really,
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
you.
Kale Lowry
You won't stop talking about her.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Let us talk.
Meltdown Oven Advertiser
Any.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I wear my heart on my sleeve.
Kale Lowry
Good for you.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I love that your house, containing everything you own catches fire. After saving your loved ones and pets, you have time to safely make a final dash to save any one item. What would it be?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
That's such a great question. That's such a stupid answer. You can get that replaced.
Kale Lowry
Yeah, I don't hold on to anything. There's nothing of value in my house.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
House.
Kale Lowry
There's literally nothing that I have. I don't. I don't care about like, sentimental.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Your computer.
Kale Lowry
No, I want that to burn in the fire. My Social Security card or my passport because they're a pain in the ass to replace. Like, yeah, you can replace them, cool.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
But like, yeah, I've never had to
Leah (Kale's Partner)
use my Social Security card in my entire life. So I'm trying to think if there's one thing that is like something of like tangible item that like can't be replaced. Right? Like all my photos can be replaced. Like I'm trying to think if there's anything from like of Leah's. Like a note she gave me when we first started dating that. But like, I don't know, like, what
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
is it like to deal with Baby back, sir? Yeah, like the Larry doll.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah, but I could get that remade.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Yeah.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
What is, I think, impractical?
Kale Lowry
The passport.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Yeah, but mine's expiring soon anyway.
Kale Lowry
Well, you better get it renewed because you can't go to certain countries if it's expiring within six months.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
No, it's not that far removed, I guess, like my wedding ring.
Meltdown Oven Advertiser
But that'll be on my finger.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I don't know. Moving on.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Of all the people in your family, whose death would you find the most disturbing and why?
Kale Lowry
My grandparents deaths were really hard for me.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I don't know if I could assert like that. My siblings maybe.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Right.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Because like I don't have any grandparents.
Kale Lowry
Right.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Like my mom would hurt, but I feel like my siblings probably would hurt more because they had more life's life to live.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
I don't know. Share a Personal problem and ask your partner's advice on how they might handle it. Also ask your partner to reflect back to you how you see them to be feeling about the problem you have chosen.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
What was it? What was the beginning?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Share a personal problem and ask your partner's advice on how they might handle it.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Personal problem. My cat. How would you think? You probably wouldn't give a. You're going out.
Kale Lowry
Is that the problem? For real?
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
She's like, please don't make me answer this.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
I don't really know what other pro. The hospital bed, the hospital room that we're delivering in. The seat doesn't recline. So should I get a cock?
Kale Lowry
Wait, really? There's no like couch situation?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
No, I saw it yesterday.
Kale Lowry
Could you just like lay in the bed with Leah?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
That's what I said. She said, no, no, it's too small.
Kale Lowry
That is fair. She's gonna want her own space after that. Yeah, I'd get like a little blow up thing and. Or bring a blow up mattress.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Okay.
Kale Lowry
My problem is the private and public lives that I live. Like how do I balance.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Suck it up, buttercup.
Kale Lowry
In what way?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
You just gotta accept it. Make your choice and accept it. If you want to choose to live private, live private. But you can't do that and have your m like income come based off not being private. It. It's just not possible and you just gotta accept it.
Kale Lowry
Yeah.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
If you want to create boundaries to it, there's a possibility. But the issue is, is that when you start becoming more secretive, more people are going to be more question, like questioning and more like invasive to your privacy. Opposed to when you're open about it, like not being like hiding something.
Kale Lowry
But do you feel that way? Because I feel like there's a. The same amount of curiosity and like in invasion of my privacy. No matter which way I do it, there's the same amount. So to your point, it's like I might as well just do whatever I'm gonna do because they're gonna be as invasive as they would be if I didn't share. So it's like, do you even think that is true for me?
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Well, like the thing for me, like, I know this is not relative at all. Like, but I think about when I worked in corporate America and people would ask me if I had a husband and I wouldn't correct them because like, it wasn't worth the conversation until I realized I was hiding the best part of my life.
Kale Lowry
Stop. I'll cry right now. Yeah, that is the sweetest thing I've ever heard.
Meltdown Oven Advertiser
But that's.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
It's like you're hiding for what? I think that you just have to navigate how you get to that, that place and it's just going to take a little bit of time. I think you have a lot of clearing up to do about other things before you bring other situations like present which is fine, but like there's just a little bit of what if those
Kale Lowry
people don't want to get on board to clarify.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
But then that's there. Like you're not, you're not Claire. Like you're just giving people timeline and like you had a lot of hurt and pain around that and people will recognize that for what it is. And the people that don't fuck them. Like what fudgeing ever. But like give it a timeline of understanding why you are in the present place and then as that moves on, like move on with your fucking life. Like be happy. Fudge it sounds good.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Fuck it.
Leah (Kale's Partner)
Fuck it.
Podcast Co-host / Interviewer
Well, that was the last question.
Kale Lowry
Thank God. Thank Rihanna.

Becca Tobin
Hi there, it's Becca Tobin. I am currently the mother of a four year old, which means I have been through it, but I still have questions and maybe even a few answers from surrogacy to Toddler chaos. I have learned a lot and also. Also not nearly enough. That's why I decided to launch Baby Gang, a six part series from the Lady Gang where I'm getting real about fertility, parenting and all the stuff nobody actually tells you. I'm bringing in some experts for the tough stuff and some other celeb moms and friends for parenting survival stuff. It's honest, it's messy, it's emotional. And yes, we are definitely laughing through it. Because whether you're in it, thinking about it, or just curious, we've got you. So join the Baby Gang wherever you get your podcasts.

Hi, everyone. I'm hospice nurse Julie and I have some bad news, but also some good news. Bad news? We're all gonna die. I know, but good news? That might be the best thing to ever happen to your priorities. I've spent years at the bedside, and what I've learned is simple. People don't usually regret the big things. They regret the small things. They regret the things they didn't say. My new podcast, It's Okay, We're All Gonna Die, is where we talk about the stuff everyone avoids. Death, dying, and all of those we should probably talk about this someday conversations. So if you're looking for something that will help you check out. It's okay.
