I think that's the first time someone said, like, thanks for having me.
Laura
You're special. You're polite.
Christina
I don't think I was granted.
Becky
Laura, if you want to jump right in. Yeah, jump right in. Okay.
Laura
So today we have a special guest. Christina is a life coach. She began as a room organizer. And is that the proper way of. What's like the. Is there an official term for that? Because I actually don't know.
Christina
Professional organizer.
Laura
A professional organizer. Sorry, I feel like I like, you.
Becky
Know, do you still do that?
Christina
So I still teach about it, but I don't actually organize the physical space anymore.
Laura
But if she organizes the.
Christina
The life figurative space. Yes, yes, exactly.
Laura
And that's. That alone is an interesting transition which I want to get into at some point. But if you can introduce yourself and start by explaining the motivations for why you got into being a professional organizer to begin with.
Christina
The professional organizing actually started because I needed money, fair motivation. I needed $5,000 to get to LA for something. And I think this is how a lot of businesses start. But it wasn't planned. And I actually came up with three different ideas of things that I thought I would be good at. And organizing seemed to be the one thing that I've loved since I was a kid. And I just wrote out a flyer and put it out there. I actually, I made my 5,000 in about six weeks with it. And then when I got back from la, I kind of thought it would be stupid to stop and it just continued from there. So it was not planned. Never thought I would ever do that. I didn't even know it was a thing. And. But I saw the opportunity for it and. And that's how it started. What.
Laura
What about it made you come, like, return from California and say, okay, you know, was it just how lucrative it was or did you Find that you were sort of applying yourself in ways that maybe you hadn't before.
Christina
It was more of the second reason. I mean, yes, I needed a way to make money, but I really saw what it did for people and it was. It was so much fun to see the before and afters and the transformation of it. And it was a lot of work, but it was really rewarding at the end. And I just thought to myself, you know, I went into people's homes and just started to see the chaos of it. And I really thought a lot of people needed it. You know, most people that I meet are not organized. And so I just. I kind of saw the opportunity for it. And, you know, at that time, I was also. The reason why I went to LA was for television. And the industry was changing to. They were looking for more experts. And this was something to pursue also for that to be an expert in. In home organizing. So that's how it started.
Becky
Very interesting.
Christina
Yeah.
Becky
I'm a pretty organized person, so, like, I can appreciate the understanding of seeing something before and after I have to see a project completed or. Like, it would drive me absolutely insane.
Christina
Absolutely. And I think it's. I think too, once you, Once you see something that you know you have a gift in or you can give, you kind of get addicted to it. And it was surprising. I'm sure you can relate this if you're organized, but when I see the mess of something, I can see how it's all going to transpire.
Becky
Yeah.
Christina
And a lot of people cannot do it. It's almost how a developer can see a plot of land and see the apartment complex that's going to be there, or an interior designer, like, a lot of people don't have that side of their brain that works like that. So I think just seeing how much, how, how, how much people were struggling, I would go in and people were so stressed out. They were so upset about what this was doing to their life. They actually felt like I kind of got the energy of them being paralyzed by the clutter. So to see that all go away and also to see that I could help them see the steps to accomplish it, it was just as rewarding. It was cool.
Laura
I think it's really interesting because, like, not only are you using choice words like transformation and paralysis and like, those are all things that I want to touch on, but you, you basically have. Have the gift of being able to envision something.
Christina
Right.
Laura
Like, you can see the vision for someone else's life.
Christina
Right.
Laura
And I think that that's what Also probably qualifies you to be a life coach. And why they're sort of transferable skills.
Christina
Right.
Laura
I mean, is that something that you found comes more easily because of the. Your ability to organize rooms?
Christina
Yeah, I think so. They. They transitioned nicely because I went from organizing the physical to then organizing their life. And there. There is a process to it of organizing the physical space and then working on all the other aspects. There's mental clutter, there's life clutter, there's job clutter, there's relationship clutter. So it goes hand in hand. It's the same technique. And with the life coaching, although that's technically what I am certified in, I actually go by spiritual coach.
Laura
I'm just getting all your titles wrong.
Christina
So I actually. It's interesting. I don't know. I. I never really resonated with that as much, and it actually bothered me for a while because I didn't like even saying it.
Becky
Yeah.
Christina
Even though I don't know. There's nothing wrong with it. I support life coaches. I am one. So it's. But I.
Laura
Is there an actual delineation between, like, so what. What is a spiritual coach versus a life coach?
Christina
So they can synergize, which is kind of what I do because I am a life coach. But I just resonate more with spiritual coach because my focus is on helping people re remember who they are in their most authentic version. And I also help them tap into their intuition. I help them with their energy. I help with.
Laura
Told you you were gonna like it.
Becky
I love this. This is right up my alley.
Christina
I help with manifesting, but I also help with even, like, clearing energy, because that will help you manifest. So we work on some trauma sometimes. I help people understand it's all about re remembering. So my job is not to tell you what you're supposed to do with your life. That's the last thing, actually, I do. I'm supposed to kind of shed these layers that help them get more in touch with their soul. So my focus is always on their soul and even just introducing that they have a soul, because some people don't know that. So I kind of introduce this whole other.
Laura
You were just, like, so excited right now.
Becky
It's because it's so, like, in that, like, realm of things, there's so much, like, everything happens for a reason. Like, things line up. And like I've told you before, like, I was listening to the Secret today, and I've talked about that book on this podcast before and like it like, it was explaining people's Souls and how, like, they're eternal. Right? And how, like, our bodies take up, like, 1% of what our actual, like, souls can consume. Like, you can walk into a room and your entire being could fill that entire room. Like, you're more than just who you are, like, as you sit. And, like, that's what I. Without knowing that this was the conversation, that's, like, what I was learning about today in this book I was reading.
Laura
Would you like to happen to a reason?
Christina
Yes. And I'm going to say a term that we have to say over and over again, because I yell at my clients if they. If they say weird or funny or even coincidence. It's synchronistic.
Becky
Synchronistic.
Christina
Synchronistic. And the more that you get into the flow with the universe, like, synchronistic events will happen over and over and over. Vocabulary lesson.
Laura
I like.
Christina
Yes.
Laura
Synchronistic. Synergized.
Christina
Yes. So I know that was, like, sort of off topic, but that's. That's how it. That's how it led in from the home organizing into the spiritual coaching.
Laura
You know, I mean, I didn't intend to ask this, but I think you bring up a good point. Is the change in language so that they weed out the idea that things are by coincidence.
Christina
Well, I want them to be able to work with the universe. So it's all about energy and it's all about language. It's all about frequency, vibration. It's how things. It's really, like a direct language with the universe. So. So when someone says, oh, that was so weird today that I ran into that person that, I don't know, I knew five years ago, it's kind of announcing to the universe, like, that's a bad thing. It has a negative connotation. Saying, that was weird. When you say, oh, that was synchronistic. It's almost saying, well, thank you, whatever. So this is important to preface.
Becky
I'm, like, blown away.
Laura
I knew this was gonna be a good conversation.
Becky
I just can't believe I listened. On the whole entire day at work, eight hours of work, I listened to this book. And, like, what you're like, were you about to say something about, like, saying thank you for, like. And literally, it talked about, like, that. I just told Leah before we came in here that I'm gonna wake up in the morning, and the first thing that I'm gonna, like, start thinking to myself is thank you, and. And being thankful for, like, every little thing I'm doing in the morning so.
Christina
That I, like, it gives Out a certain vibration.
Becky
Yeah.
Christina
So it's all about. So crazy frequency.
Becky
Well, not crazy.
Christina
Sorry.
Becky
It's a new word for me to learn.
Laura
Good job.
Christina
No, it'll help too, because it's. It's all about. So the one thing I was going to say is it doesn't matter what language. So I naturally will say God, energy, universe. That's just naturally what comes out of my mouth. But I work with a range of people that believe in different things. So if they resonate more with energy, I'll say that. If they resonate more with spirit, I'll say that. So that doesn't matter what language you use. I personally, what will kind of just come out of my mouth is God, the universe or energy. And so you kind of want to be in a constant dialogue with. Again, I'm just going to say the universe and God. And so when you're saying those words synchronistic, or you're saying, you know, thank you for meeting that person from five years ago, it's kind of literally in a dialogue with the universe, saying, I saw what you just did. Thank you. And you can also use that to explain what you don't like. So, like, when I used to get clients, this is my favorite thing to do when it comes to manifesting. So I'm obsessed with this one. If I got a. I did it with the home organizing, but even with the spiritual coaching, it's the same thing. If I get a call from a client, a lead, there might be points of them that I like, which is great, and I'm thankful for that. But let's say I just knew it wasn't a good fit. So I am very authentic. I don't force anything. So I. I explained to them that we're not going to be a good fit. That's not right, vibrationally, to do something that doesn't feel in alignment with my soul. So I say no, I decline to work with them after I get off the phone. You can say this quietly. You could say it out loud. I say it out loud because I just feel like I'm always talking to.
Laura
God and yell at the universe. Well, no, I don't.
Christina
I don't yell. Okay, let's know. Yelling.
Laura
You're not one to yell.
Christina
No, not one to yell. But I will say very calmly, actually, I will say, thank you so much for bringing this lead to me. I really do want to work with a new client. I'm open to receiving. That's a really good word to, like, jot down. I'm Open to receiving new business and new clients. But that was not the right fit. Then I'd say what I do want and I have to make up a name because I can't say my clients names.
Becky
Becky.
Christina
Becky. Okay.
Laura
Original.
Christina
So I would say. But I would love to work with someone exactly like my client Becky because she is on time and she pays on time and she always thanks me for my service and the conversations are easy and our sessions are great. Please send me a client just like Becky. So I am thanking the universe for bringing in the other lead. But it wasn't the right fit. So I vocalize that and also say exactly what I want, which is someone like Becky and you. Honestly, without fail, usually what happens is the next day I will get a phone call from the right person.
Becky
Yeah.
Christina
You know, and it's, that's how it works. So it's beautiful. So. But people are very scared to. You know, I used to. I remember there's one time I turned down a huge organizing project. It was a lot of money and I turned it down. It was not the right fit. Energetically and vibrationally. And you have to stay authentic to that and trust that the universe is going to provide in a different way. That's more of a match. And it's that constant dialogue of what is a match and what is not a match. And that's where the intuition comes in. And when I try to teach my clients that you always have a voice inside that knows way more than you. It's your authentic self. It's your soul. And as long as you listen to that, you will always be fine. No matter what you turn down, there will. It's. It's always leading you. Um, there's a guy. Is his name Gary Zuk. Zukoff. Zukoff. I don't know his name, but Gary Zukoff I think. And he explains that, that the soul is you with a capital Y. And I always loved that definition. So imagine Y O U spelled out with a lowercase Y. That's our personality. That's our character. That's our, our body. That's the, the personality that we're born into. That's that role. U. Y O U with a capital Y is your soul.
Laura
Interesting.
Christina
So that's a good way to think of it.
Becky

The conversation delves deep into Christina's journey from managing physical spaces to guiding individuals through their spiritual and personal transformations.
Christina begins by sharing her unexpected entry into the world of professional organizing.
“[00:02:04] Christina: The professional organizing actually started because I needed money, fair motivation. I needed $5,000 to get to LA for something.”
Her initial foray into organizing was a practical solution to fund her move to Los Angeles, but it quickly evolved into a passionate career. Christina highlights the rewarding nature of her work, emphasizing the joy derived from transforming chaotic spaces and the positive impact it has on her clients’ lives.
“[00:03:10] Christina: I really saw what it did for people and it was so much fun to see the before and afters and the transformation of it.”
The transition from organizing physical spaces to life and spiritual coaching was a natural progression for Christina, leveraging her ability to envision and create order both tangibly and intangible.
Laura probes into how Christina's skills as a professional organizer seamlessly translated into her role as a spiritual coach.
“[00:05:34] Laura: Like, you can see the vision for someone else's life. And I think that’s what also probably qualifies you to be a life coach.”
Christina elaborates on this synergy, explaining that both roles require a systematic approach to decluttering—whether it's a room or one's life. She discusses the overlap between physical organization and spiritual well-being, emphasizing that clearing one can significantly impact the other.
“[00:06:28] Christina: I help people remember who they are in their most authentic version. And I also help them tap into their intuition.”
A significant portion of the episode is dedicated to the concept of synchronistic events and maintaining a positive dialogue with the universe. Christina introduces and emphasizes the importance of terminology in shaping one's interaction with the universe.
“[00:08:43] Christina: It's synchronistic. And the more that you get into the flow with the universe, like, synchronistic events will happen over and over and over.”
Becky shares her personal connection with this concept, reflecting on how it aligns with her own experiences and readings.
“[00:10:34] Becky: ...I was listening to the Secret today...”
Christina advises listeners to adopt a language that fosters a positive relationship with the universe, transforming perceptions of events from coincidences to meaningful synchronicities.
“[00:09:30] Christina: It's all about energy and it's all about language. It's all about frequency, vibration.”
The discussion transitions into practical applications of Christina's spiritual coaching practices, particularly manifestation and energy clearing. She shares techniques on how to vocalize intentions and align energies to attract desired outcomes.
“[00:12:34] Christina: I say thank you so much for bringing this lead to me. I really do want to work with a new client... Please send me a client just like Becky.”
This method underscores the importance of gratitude and specificity in manifesting positive changes, encouraging listeners to maintain authenticity and trust in the universe’s guidance.
Christina emphasizes the critical role of authenticity and intuition in both professional organizing and spiritual coaching. She advises clients to listen to their inner voices, ensuring that their actions align with their true selves.
“[00:14:15] Christina: If you have a voice inside that knows way more than you. It's your authentic self. It's your soul.”
By prioritizing authentic choices, Christina demonstrates how individuals can navigate life's complexities with confidence and clarity.
As the episode wraps up, Christina shares a poignant analogy to illustrate the essence of the soul versus the persona.
“[00:15:03] Christina: The soul is you with a capital Y. Imagine Y O U spelled out with a lowercase y. That's our personality... Y O U with a capital Y is your soul.”
This powerful metaphor encapsulates the episode's central themes of self-discovery, authenticity, and the harmonious interplay between the physical and spiritual realms.
Becky closes the episode with heartfelt gratitude, reinforcing the supportive community fostered by the podcast.
“[00:15:05] Becky: Thank you so much for listening this far... Always remember you are not alone and your support means the world to me.”
