Kale Lowry
I think we should release some music.
Becky
Okay. I'm tone deaf, literally.
Kale Lowry
Me also, but at least people would pay to stream it and we would make at least a check real quick. Like, run it up real quick. You know what I mean? Are we rolling?
Becky
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Okay. Welcome to Karma and Chaos.
Becky
Welcome. Welcome back to Karma and Chaos. If you came here for an elephant, it's not in this room.
Kale Lowry
I will be presenting a haiku here in a second.
Becky
Seven kids, four dads, roosters, toddlers. All scream loud. Who's the real farm hand?
Lux
That's actually pretty good.
Kale Lowry
Who is it? Big old Farmer Becky. Big old farmer Becky. I would have loved to see you do farm chores. And I think the next time you come to my house and we need to be refilming, you do farm tours.
Becky
Okay. I just want everyone to know I've spent way too much time with Kale in the past week.
Kale Lowry
What's wrong?
Becky
Nothing. It. This is the most time we've spent together. We spent more time this week together than we probably did in the eight years of our friendship.
Kale Lowry
We missed five years.
Becky
No, but, like, the time.
Kale Lowry
And actually, it's been longer than that because you were at my wedding to Hobby, where I was pregnant with Lincoln and Lincoln's 11.
Becky
Tomato, tomato.
Kale Lowry
You know, tomato, not tomato. So we. We have known each other for 12 years.
Becky
Yeah. And this week, I.
Kale Lowry
You have been at my house since, like, what, Saturday night?
Becky
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
And I have appreciated the quality time. The qt, if you will.
Becky
I have a question from that. Do you. Did you train your kids to. Why do you make that face?
Kale Lowry
They're not dogs. I feel like I don't know where you're going with this. Just continue.
Becky
Did you train your kids to always sit at the kitchen table to eat food?
Kale Lowry
Yes.
Becky
Why did you answer so easily? If you don't. If you don't have to train them.
Kale Lowry
If you do something regularly, they'll just do.
Becky
Was just really impressive to see. Like, they would get their dinner, they would get their food, and then just go right to the table. All of them would just sit. And I was like, oh, this is really nice.
Kale Lowry
That was a learning, like, because our life. Our lives are so chaotic with, like, all the kids and, you know, different schedules for some times and sports. Sports and work. And it was definitely something that was coming and going, depending on our schedules. And then we got to a point where once the babies were born, it was like, we really, really wanted to have something that the kids could look forward to and something that you told me forever ago that really resonated with me. And you had said that when you were a kid, you knew to come in for dinner every night and your mom had food on the table as a family, and you guys would sit at the table and eat. And you being an adult and remembering that was something that I wanted for my kids. And so that was really important to me. So it doesn't happen every single night, but it does happen often enough that my. It's going to be a core memory for my kids, and that's something that I really want.
Becky
That's really cute. My eyes started getting a little. I'm, like, emotional today. I'm emotional always. This week made me even more emotional because, like, spending time with your kids, getting to see my new future, and, like, obviously I love your kids more than I love most people. And getting that quality time is something that is. What's the word? Like, nothing money could buy.
Kale Lowry
Sunday, you took the boys to football.
Becky
I did.
Kale Lowry
I took Lincoln to soccer. And you got to see them play.
Becky
I did.
Kale Lowry
That was really cool.
Becky
I was a mom this week. I took. They asked me to take them to school. Creed asked me to put him to bed. Me and Isaac bake cookies together. Isaac had me, like, we had a movie night, just the two of us. He came into my room and we watched a movie. I feel like the only one I didn't get really one on one time was with Lincoln, but he's such a busy little guy, you know? But I do. I do want to talk about something.
Kale Lowry
Okay.
Becky
I was. I came to your house, and I was working from there, right? Like, I still have my day job. Was working. And all of a sudden there's just these people outside just, you know, with excavators or skid steers or whatever it is. And they were redoing your driveway. And I said, kale, how, like, did you. How, like, this is awesome. Like, when did you know that you were getting your driveway done? And you said, well, they knocked on my door on Friday and asked if I needed my driveway paved. And they caught me at a vulnerable moment. So I just said, yes. This is three days later. I. I said, kel, oh, did you price shop? Did you get a second quote?
Kale Lowry
No.
Becky
She said, nope.
Kale Lowry
I was spiraling in that moment. I was so tired. I was so, so tired. And I'm there, and one of the twins was having an appointment, and his teacher was at the house, like, versus teacher was at the house. And I'm, like, walking her out, and all of a sudden this guy, like, tells me this Story. I mean, it's not like, no neighbor, like, canceled on you, and you had all these materials, and it was just enough for, like, my drive. Like, you're lying to me through your teeth. And I looked at him and I said, how much is it? And I said, okay. So.
Creed
Insane.
Kale Lowry
I literally. I just said, okay. And then he goes, all right, I'm gonna go get the machinery. He was like, I'll leave it here. And we'll. This was on Friday. He's like, I'll go get the machinery. We'll leave it here. We'll start on Monday. It'll be done. And I'm like, okay, perfect. And then every. Like, that Monday, when they came to do the driveway, every hour, they were knocking on the door, asking to basically upcharge all of this every hour. And I got so pissed off. They knock on the door, sorry to bother you, but, like, we have extra material to do. Like, we could do, like, this extra thing. And I'd be like, no. And then we'd be like, come back an hour later.
Becky
She wouldn't say no. She would be like, becky Handle was not a no. Is Becky Handle it?
Kale Lowry
So, needless to say, I will never.
Becky
Forget this for the rest of my life.
Kale Lowry
The driveway.
Becky
Yeah. Just the unhinged decision.
Kale Lowry
Well, that's what you.
Becky
It does look good.
Kale Lowry
It looks really good. It makes things a lot easier. There was also a lot of potholes. Like, I gotta. I have a lot of company. I have. You know, I have, like. People are in and out of our driveways.
Becky
So I also walked into $2,000 worth of plants.
Kale Lowry
I feel like the plant thing was, like, it wasn't just an impulse buy. It was a buy for life because we are placing life inside the house. We're killing toxins and the.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Photosynthesis.
Creed
How many plants that you've bought in the past have.
Becky
Are.
Creed
Have life still?
Kale Lowry
Are they. Several of them? No, I keep them alive, mostly. And the ones that I bought have the reservoir, the water reservoirs. So, like, they're even more likely to survive. I think the decision to buy it was 1200, not 2000. $1200 in plants was a little bit of overkill. We have clean, fresh air in the house now. We have a trampoline. It is Disneyland.
Becky
Yeah. Just for everyone. That's not. Well, obviously, you can't see into the whole entire room. We have a live studio audience again, which is my favorite time to record, because Kale, she gets hyped up when people laugh at her. All it takes. All it takes is one person. So you guys are in for a treat these two episodes.
Kale Lowry
Becky and I drove to New York last night, super late, got the kids to bed, drove to New York, and we're s. Going through the McDonald's drive thru, and I'm like, let's get a double cheeseburger. So we're driving and she's like, we've been through a lot in these, you know, this last like eight, six to eight months since we've been friends again. And we started listing off all of the things that have transpired in the last six to eight months. And truly, it is diabolical. Why?
Becky
Why would you do that?
Kale Lowry
You know what it was? It was eye openening. Because sometimes I wonder, do I have enough going on?
Becky
Can I tell the story about the tattoo?
Lux
Yes.
Becky
So I'm in the kitchen. We have so many good things that came out of this week. Lux just is like a walking one liner, right? Like comedian. But this is actually about Creed. So I was standing there making myself my plate for dinner. All the kids that Lux and Creed were arguing about who I was going to sit next to. So they finally moved and made a seat for me in the middle of them. So I sit next to both of them, and Creed looks at me and says, becky, do you have tattoos on your chest? And I said, what an interesting thing to say. No, I don't. And he goes, do you think you could get some? And I said, why, Creed? Why would you want me to get tattoos on my chest? And he said, well, my dad has tattoos on his chest. And I said, do you want me to be your dad? And he goes, yes. And so I sit down and. And Lux said something like, you know, she. She can't be our dad, but she could be our mom. And Cree was like, yeah, you could be another our. Like our other mom. And. And Lux is like, yeah, you could be our third mom.
Kale Lowry
Yeah, him, me, Chris's girlfriend, and you.
Lux
I guess we're all gonna.
Kale Lowry
We're gonna co parent and be three happy moms.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Love that.
Becky
I also.
Kale Lowry
But, like, for Creed to say, you said, do you want to. Do you want me to be your dad? Yes.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Like, just didn't care.
Becky
Yeah, Creed. Also, the first day that I was there, he drew a picture of us and he handed it to me, and it was. He drew me with gray hair and a bon. He said, I know, but he said, this is you with your silver hair and bun.
Creed
So cute, though.
Kale Lowry
I mean, he's not wrong.
Becky
Wait, hold on. I have a picture.
Rio
I Mean, has he seen you with your hair down?
Kale Lowry
No, I don't think so.
Becky
That was really cute as well.
Kale Lowry
Yeah.
Becky
And then I just want to say that Kayl needed to take a little bit of alone time last night, and she went and took a shower. And so I was tasked into helping.
Kale Lowry
Lux with his homework in Spanish, by the way.
Becky
I was getting there. Okay, Lux goes to Spanish immersion school, and so I sat down to help him with math. With math in Spanish.
Kale Lowry
How was that? What was that like?
Becky
I did pretty well.
Lux
Did you?
Becky
Yeah, I, I had to screenshot everything and then translate it on my phone.
Kale Lowry
Here's the thing about it. Being in Spanish is not the hard part for me. It's the math that they teach today. The new math there was humps. It doesn't matter if it's in English or Spanish. I do not understand why am I explaining my answer? When math is math, it is what it is. The number is the number. I don't know how I got there, but if it's correct. Shut the up. Why are we teaching? Like, the whole mentality behind the new ways of math is, like, to try to get kids to think outside the box. You either think outside the box or you don't. No amount of new math is going to teach us to think outside the box. You know what's going to make us think outside of the box? Trauma. Trauma will make you think outside the box.
Creed
Snap, sister.
Kale Lowry
Trauma and taxes will make you clever. So what they're doing right now with the new math is absolutely sickening.
Becky
Well, he was, it was funny because I, like, wanted to give him a simple way to do it instead of the humps. And then I was like, I can't just completely. I had to just sit there and let him teach me how he does it.
Kale Lowry
Yeah.
Becky
I was really surprised, though, because he looked at a hand of coins and was able to count them all. I was like, wow.
Kale Lowry
Why? Taught him what each of them were, like, worth.
Becky
Yeah. Like, he was able to add 425s together.
Kale Lowry
Oh, yeah, that's great.
Becky
I was really impressed.
Kale Lowry
Lux does tutoring twice a week, and I think it's been really beneficial. But also, I just, I don't know how the kids do it. I, I, I wish that I could learn in Spanish. I wish I would have learned in Spanish and English as a child so I wouldn't be, like, struggling today. But I do think it's cool that he able to do, like, the half day English, half day Spanish.
Becky
Yeah. I hope that my kid will learn Spanish as Well, right off the bat.

Kale Lowry
Creed specifically and Rio also. I am scared of their. Their level of intelligence. They are highly intelligent to the point that I'm, like, afraid. Like, they're gonna be very calculated.
Becky
Yeah, yeah. They're very smart.
Kale Lowry
And then Lux is just witty like him, Lincoln and Isaac. Like, if you're insecure about anything in your life, don't come to my house. Don't do it.
Becky
Yeah, that's facts.
Kale Lowry
Don't do it, because they will call you out. They'll smell it on you.
Becky
They'll smell you.
Kale Lowry
They'll smell your fear, your insecurities, and they will call you out. And I think we had a great week.
Becky
We did have a great week.
Kale Lowry
We did.
Becky
I'm exhausted.
Kale Lowry
And I was telling you before when we went to soccer practice, I think it was last night. I was telling you. Like, I don't think that people understand, like, when I say I'm busy. I don't think that they understand.
Becky
You're driving so much. You drive through the kids in the morning to three different schools. You pick up from three different schools. You go to two to three different sports every evening. Not even just sports, tutoring, sports. So there's like three hour gaps that you're just not home, just driving kids places.
Kale Lowry
So. And then I took the week, like Monday through Wednesday took off, so I wasn't even actually like working.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
And then on top of it, Verse has three, three therapy appointments that come to the house and then we have the farm and then we have any appointments that I have outside of the house. And what's really hard is like on most days I have to leave my house by 3, 2:30 to go get my kids. And so when I. I don't come back until 8pm because from 2:30 I'm picking up the kids and go right to sports. And then a lot of times 8pm, 8:30, when I'm like trying to do bath and dinner and bedtime, I have back into the office to get anything done for the next day or to get prepared for the next day. But I have found that last week, this week, getting everything ready on Sundays, packing the lunches for the entire week was like really helpful. So I think, like, moving forward, I'll be able to like implement that. But you'll only have one and there's. It'll be.
Becky
I might have seven.
Kale Lowry
I mean, you might, but you'll have a slow buildup to get there. You know what I mean? So you'll have some time to like. I feel like I went from four to seven like this.
Becky
Well, you did.
Kale Lowry
So I didn't have a whole lot of time to prepare.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
And like fully understand what was going on.
Kim
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
I mean, I'm, I'm an adult, so I know better, but.
Becky
Do you?
Kale Lowry
No.
Becky
Do you know better?
Kale Lowry
I don't know better. I do, but I don't.
Becky
I wanted to talk through. I have so much to talk about. I don't even know where to start. So I called, I called Lindsay this week and me and her were chatting, just shooting the, you know, just catching up on life, just. And I said, and I said Lindsay would like, do you want to come to my baby shower? And she was like, maybe. What? Like I said, I said, it's. Well, it's not really a baby shower. It's more of like a barbecue. Like it's co ed and kids can come. And she goes, oh, yeah, I love lesbian. It's like the boys hanging out.
Kale Lowry
What is she talking about? What the is she talking about?
Creed
I'm obsessed with Lindsay Chrisley.
Kale Lowry
Marriage is like just the boys hanging out.
Creed
I love lesbian. It's absolutely wild.
Becky
You. I like started cracking up and I went to text, you know, I'm like, never mind. I'm Writing this down so I can bring it up.
Kale Lowry
I love lesbian.
Becky
Yeah. It's like the boys hanging out.
Creed
It's like the boys hanging out. Baby rocking down at the barbecue.
Becky
Hell yeah. You know? Hell, yeah. So maybe she's coming.
Lux
Okay.
Becky
Yeah. I mean, apparently she loves lesbian.
Kale Lowry
We can ride dirty from the airport all the way to New Jersey.
Becky
It was cute. And I also felt bad because I must have asked Isaac if he was coming in front of the other kids. And I didn't. Like, they were in the room. Just that. And then later, I was like, oh, like, to Lux, I said, oh, like, are you going to come to my baby shower? And he goes, I thought I wasn't invited. I said, what do you mean? He goes, I thought it was just Isaac. And I said, no, you're invited, too.
Kale Lowry
Yeah, I was going to bring all of them. I'm not bringing the babies, though.
Becky
Okay, but they should all come.
Kale Lowry
I'm not bringing the babies, they said.
Becky
I said it was cute. I was like.
Creed
My boy Rio. I'll watch him.
Kale Lowry
Oh, you're gonna go. Okay, bet I'll bring Rio.
Becky
I said, you guys can all come too, if you want.
Kale Lowry
Oh, Jordy should come. Yeah, you should come. Yeah, she loves the lesbian.
Creed
We love lesbian. We just want to hang out with the boys.
Becky
I told. I, like, reminded the kids. I was like, do you guys know. You guys know my wife's pregnant, right? Like, I'm having a kid. And Lux goes, yeah, we're getting another cousin.
Kale Lowry
Oh, it was so cute we said that.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Oh, that makes me so happy. Yeah.
Becky
And then Isaac introduced me to someone as Aunt Becky, and I was like, ah, I'm too emotionally unstable for this. Anyhow, we'll see if we get Lindsay up here out of. Well, isn't she coming up in May? Anyway, you guys should make it. So it's that.
Kale Lowry
That weekend?
Becky
That weekend, Yeah.
Kale Lowry
I gotta. I think that's my weekend with the kids. But we'll see.
Becky
I have. Okay, I need to talk about this. And I'm really glad that Jordy's here, because I think that he might. That was really up for me to say that.
Kale Lowry
What are you talking about? I don't know what's going on.
Becky
I forgot. No, no. Well, let me just.
Creed
We don't have an HR department. Becky.
Kale Lowry
Don't get me sued.
Becky
No, no, no. I was on. I was on vacation, and there was these group of, like, older white people, and they were all, like, in the pool, and they kept asking the, like, the waiter guy, the server guy to get Them poppers. And I was like. And I'm. And I'm, like, sitting there, and I'm like. I'm like, this is crazy. Like, they just keep asking. I'm like. They're like, oh, get us more poppers. Get us more.
Kale Lowry
What's a popper?
Kim
Okay, so poppers are something. It's like, it comes in a little bottle. They used to sell them at sex shops. I don't know anymore. I've retired from poppers. But I used to do them a lot in college.
Becky
Sniff it.
Kim
Like, it's kind of, like, kind of.
Kale Lowry
A lot more comfortable.
Kim
So it relaxes you. A lot of people use it during sex. It, like, intensifies it. But I used to do it whenever.
Kale Lowry
But, yeah, that's why I've never heard of this. It's just in the gate with the gays.
Kim
Everybody does it.
Becky
Yeah.
Kim
Well, not everybody, but, yeah, mostly the gays. During sex is magical. Sorry, I'm just.
Becky
No. Yeah. So, like, to my. I'm like, wow. Would have never pegged these people for.
Kale Lowry
No pun intended.
Becky
Yeah. For wanting poppers. And then finally, my nosy ass just went right over to him. I said, excuse me, why do you keep asking that poor waiter for poppers? And they're like, we're hungry. I said, hungry for what? And they're like. Like, jalapeno poppers. And I said, do you. Do you know what poppers are? They were like, no. So I explained it to them. They're all from, like. Like, Missouri or something. And they were. They were mortified.
Kale Lowry
I was about to say, like, why are they asking servers for drugs?
Becky
That's. Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Well, you know the gays.
Becky
Yeah, I. It. Yeah.
Creed
That's some lesbian shit. Hanging out with the boys, having to explain what.
Becky
It was a funny, funny experience.
Kale Lowry
I wish I was there.
Becky
They're coming to get you arrested. A really long time ago. I accidentally did poppers.
Kale Lowry
Accidentally snorted something.
Becky
Hear me out. Okay? This was before no one got me in trouble. This was a really long time ago. Yeah. It is legal, so it's not like.
Kale Lowry
They sell these at the, like, royal.
Becky
Yeah. It's just. Yeah. So I was in. It honestly was an honest mistake. I was in Manchester in the United Kingdom.
Kale Lowry
I know where Manchester is, babe. I was born.
Becky
I don't even know where Rhode island is.
Kale Lowry
I know I was born.
Creed
Was the longest river in the United States, but you know where Manchester is.
Kale Lowry
Just sending me because Lincoln likes Manchester United, which is a soccer team. Thank you very much.
Becky
Okay, that's fair. Anyway, I was There and they have like a drag or like a gay strip there.
Kale Lowry
Okay.
Becky
Like gay bars. And Leah and I were there and we were just like exploring, going in and out of bars.
Kale Lowry
Sure.
Becky
And this gay little twink guy, is that just me?
Kale Lowry
No. Twink. What is twink?
Becky
You don't know what twink is?
Kim
Fair, I was called an ancient twink on tik Tok, but ye, it is a young, skinny gay guy.
Kale Lowry
Okay, I can see that.
Becky
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Okay, so you are so like.
Lux
Who can give me another example of a twink?
Kim
And is it Troy Sivion?
Lux
Matt Matthews?
Kim
No, no. He's like a twunk. He's a twunk. Do you know what.
Creed
He is?
Rio
Actually, could you facetime him and ask.
Creed
That to his face, please?
Lux
Hey, do you know what a twink?
Kale Lowry
What is a twink?
Becky
Are you a twink? A twink.
Isaac
It's like a real skinny, like girly, flamboyant gay guy.
Lux
And what's a twunk?
Becky
A.
Isaac
A tw is, I would guess, a step above.
Kale Lowry
Like, step above in what way?
Lux
Like, like a little fluffier, maybe like.
Isaac
A little less flamboyant.
Kale Lowry
Okay, maybe.
Isaac
I don't really know.
Kale Lowry
Okay, I.
Lux
This is. We're recording and I.
Kale Lowry
This is the first I've ever heard.
Lux
Of a twink in my whole life. Would you say that you're a twink?
Isaac
I don't think I'm a twink.
Lux
A twunk.
Becky
Maybe I'm a. I don't know.
Lux
I've never heard this.
Isaac
I feel like I need to take a poll now.
Becky
Breaking news.
Kale Lowry
Okay, hold on.
Lux
Every single person in this room is gay?
Becky
I've never met him before.
Lux
Including me.
Isaac
Are you gay now?
Kale Lowry
I've always been.
Isaac
Well, we know. Well, we know you've like a little kitty cat meow, meow every once in.
Kale Lowry
A while, but just a little.
Isaac
We also like. We also like a little. A little pee pee.
Lux
So. So would I be like a female version of a twink?
Isaac
I don't think so.
Lux
I'm not skinny enough, am I?
Isaac
I think like, twinks are like real skinny.
Becky
We already established that.
Isaac
You're attractive, white, a like super gay. That's what a twinkie is. Like, no hair on their body, like no, no, no beard, like no nothing.
Lux
Okay, you're definitely not a twink then.
Becky
Yeah.
Isaac
And then you have a bear, which is like. A bear is like super, like big hairy dude.
Lux
Have you ever been with one of those?
Isaac
Yeah, that's my. I mean, I don't like, not like super fat.
Becky
Ones.
Isaac
But I like hairy guys.
Kale Lowry
I like. I like very skinny guys.
Isaac
Yeah, I know. Gross. Makes me sick.
Lux
I'm hanging up.
Kale Lowry
Good luck at your show. I love you.
Isaac
I love you.
Kale Lowry
Bye.
Becky
There you have it, folks.

Lux
Twink and TW and a bear. Okay, continue. What the is an odd.
Kim
An otter, right? An otter is like a less bigger bear still like a little hairy like a chapstick.
Kale Lowry
So it would be like a bear.
Lux
An otter and a twink. And then it's like mask femme chapstick.
Kim
What is chapstick?
Kale Lowry
Me?
Becky
Chapstick is like a switch neutral. Like it's like someone that.
Kim
Is that a lesbian term?
Becky
Yeah.
Kim
Okay. Yeah, I don't know about that.
Becky
Glad we got. I didn't even finish my story.
Kale Lowry
I have no idea what you were saying.
Lux
No clue.
Becky
I didn't even get. I didn't even get to the point of it. I just, I said I would. So there was this. There's this gay guy that like started hanging out with Leah and I like showing us around the streets, like showing us the bars. And he pulled this thing out of his pocket and he said, here, smell this. And I thought it was cologne.
Lux
It was probably chloroform.
Becky
And I smelt it. And he was like, no, like really smell it. And I was like, what do you mean? And I really smelt it. And then all of a sudden I was floating behind my body and I was like. I turned to Leah, I whispered in her ear as a little angel ghost. And I said, if this lasts longer than 15 minutes, you need to take me home. And that was my one and only experience with accidentally getting high. Yeah.
Lux
Was that ketamine or what was that?
Becky
It was poppers.
Kale Lowry
Right, right, right, right, right, right, right.
Becky
Where did ketamine come from?
Lux
Because we were talking about it all day.
Kale Lowry
So I was like, maybe that's where.
Lux
We were going with this. But then I remembered we circled back.
Kale Lowry
To the poppers because I forgot about the poppers.
Becky
Speaking about topics from today, I saw a tick tock that was speaking to how like only fans, people and people in that industry, like the adult industry shouldn't get paid as Much. They do as they do. And I just disagree with that so much.
Kale Lowry
But here's the thing.
Becky
Who else would get the money?
Kale Lowry
But they set their own prices, so who.
Lux
If people are willing to pay it, then let them pay it. I think that they need to take that conversation up with the NFL and NBA and the mlb. Like, those are the companies that need to not pay those people twofold.
Becky
Let me. Sorry, I got yelled at for cutting off finish.
Lux
It's fine. No, I'm just saying, like, how do you determine who, why, who determines how much a sex worker should make?
Becky
That's what I mean. It was. They were comparing it how like people that work stereotypical jobs don't ever have that chance to make that much money. And it's like, yeah, they should get every single dollar that is given to them. Why wouldn't they? Like, why should there be a cap? My argument with NFL and pro sports is that someone is going to make that money. And I rap, like, why not? Like, all that money is being given into that professional environment, so it has to go to someone. I think the argument is maybe other people in the industry should get paid more. But it's not like if you take away that $20 million that a professional athlete is getting paid, that money is still income that the NFL is making.
Lux
I see what you're saying, but I mean, is there not a way to give it back to like the literal communities fair?
Kale Lowry
Like, yes, maybe the people that allow.
Lux
The, you know, big sports to be as successful as they are get paid more. So the people that are all behind the scenes get paid more. But also there will be money left over too, for the community. Like, yeah, I mean that there. I just read somebody, one of the women's basketball coaches, I think was like not taking a 10 million dollar donation from.
Kale Lowry
Who was it?
Lux
Was it Elon Musk, I think, and refused the donation and was like, that money can be put somewhere else. Like there are actual foundations and parts of the community that could benefit from this. I just saw it. That's so weird that you brought it up. Hold on.
Becky
What a wild just train of events this podcast is, huh? How about it, folks?
Lux
Oh, okay. It looks like it might have been a rumor.
Creed
That's karma chaos. We never fact check over here.
Lux
No, I didn't.
Becky
I didn't do my research.
Lux
No, no, it was an article.
Kale Lowry
That's why I was. I thought it was legit.
Lux
It says Dawn Staley, or Staley.
Becky
Yeah.
Lux
Was offered $10 million from Elon Musk.
Becky
North Carolina or the South Carolina coach.
Lux
Yeah, South Carolina.
Becky
She's like the highest paid coach.
Kale Lowry
Yeah.
Lux
So she allegedly had turned down saying that there was places in the community that could benefit more from it.
Becky
Allegedly.
Kale Lowry
Allegedly. Yeah.
Becky
So to wrap that, wrap that up, we think that people in that industry and the adult entertainment industry deserve all the money that they, they get.
Lux
I think people in the adult entertainment industry, yes. But then am I going against what I'm. Am I contradicting myself when I say that then athletes should not get that much?
Becky
I think there's other air. Like concession stand workers could probably get paid more. A living wage. I don't know how much they get paid, but like there's other outlets inside athletics that makes that company continue. I don't know if I'm ready for the hard conversation around if females should get paid as much as men though.
Kale Lowry
Why?
Becky
What money are you paying them with if the company itself isn't making the money?
Lux
We're not making. They're not making money the way that the NFL, like the male dominated sports are. Because their men are doing that. Like men are doing that and they're not watching the women because it's not as highly publicized. We could. Women could make.
Becky
Yes, there should be more money in put in to women.
Lux
They're not highlighting it and never have the same way they have for men's sports.
Becky
Agreed.
Lux
And so I think in some ways, like the, the powerhouses and the power people behind men's sports are causing this. Like, they know what they're doing. They've known what they were doing since day one. And all it takes is like a powerhouse of a marketing team or several to be put behind women's sports and we could at least even the playing.
Kale Lowry
Field a little bit.
Becky
Yeah, I think that that needs to happen before they can get paid more. They can't get paid more right off the bat if there's. That money's not paid them. But like, so there needs to be money put into women's sports in general to get more promotion and payment coming through.
Lux
And, and maybe, and maybe we can do that. Like maybe we can.
Becky
Like me and you.
Kale Lowry
Yeah, like, just like, like if we're.
Lux
Like, hey, instead of going to an NBA game, we see what girls sports are playing instead. Or like just like an advertising WNBA game. I'm down. My kids should take it.
Kale Lowry
We should all go. Like, we could all do like, like, I love nobody. I love lesbian.
Lux
Just.
Kale Lowry
Yeah, just with the boys. I just, I feel like when people.
Lux
Are not speaking up and making those changes, nothing can change.
Becky
Yeah. I agree with that. I agree that there's changes that can and should be made. I don't think that it is the ability is there to automatically just pay female athletes.
Lux
It's.
Kale Lowry
It would.
Lux
It would take an entire marketing strategy behind, you know, all of that.
Becky
But I think WNB NBA game Caitlin.
Lux
Clark's base salary is $76,000 is insane. Like, I make more than that. So. And then we're talking about sponsorships and stuff.
Kale Lowry
She makes a lot of money even.
Becky
Like, still, though, like, for endorsements.
Lux
But that's not. That's not okay compared to the man who. I mean, even NHL players are making, you know, between what, 3 and $10 million and, like, make that.
Becky
Yeah, I think that. I think with the whole nil, like, changing in the past, I don't know when. That. It was probably like, four or five years ago. Do you know what that is? Do you know, even. Do you know what I'm talking about?
Lux
The nil.
Becky
Yeah.
Lux
I have no idea.
Becky
Okay, so they change. Like, college players can get paid money.
Lux
Oh, I didn't know that.
Kale Lowry
Yeah. Yeah.
Becky
And so I think that that might help with showing that, like, female, like, athletics in college could also bring in money. So I think that it's all relative. There's a lot of. Of positive change happening.
Lux
Yeah. Well, I think we need to just keep speaking up about female athletes. Female everything.
Becky
Hell, yeah.
Lux
Hell, yeah.
Becky
Valley's gonna be.
Lux
I wonder.
Kale Lowry
I would love to see her do.
Lux
Gymnastics, but it's like, whatever she wants.
Becky
You know, she's gonna be a pro athlete. Maybe one day.
Lux
It's possible.
Becky
Speaking of, we spoke in the past episode. What a wild. Just like, bouncing ball. This episode has been good luck.
Lux
Alessandra.
Becky
Let me go next on my list. I do want to bring up. I thought about this the other night. I got catfished.
Lux
Excuse me.
Becky
And I. Honestly, now that I think about it, I blame you.
Lux
Just because I came from MTV does not mean. Okay, that I catfished you.
Becky
No, I blame you for the catfish.
Lux
And you brought this up today because you.
Becky
Because I thought about it. It.
Lux
Okay, tell me the story. Do I know this story?
Becky
No. I've actually never told anyone this story ever.
Lux
Okay. I'm embracing. I'm.
Becky
I think it was 2014, I lived in Philly. Whenever it was I lived in Philly, I had this girl reach out to me on social media. Probably that followed me because of you. Okay, so that's why this is your fault. And, you know, we became friendly on social media. Nothing like. Like flirting or anything like that it was never like a relationship, like just a friendship. And she reached out to me and was like, becky, oh, my God, I just came into so much money. And I want, like, we should start.
Kale Lowry
This is.
Lux
This cannot be blamed on me.
Becky
Yeah, I wouldn't have known her or been in a position for her to burst my dreams. Anyway, she told me she came into a lot of money, someone died, she inherited, like, millions of dollars, and that she wanted to start a business with me.
Lux
And you thought, yes, I absolutely love that idea.
Becky
Exactly. Well, why wouldn't I want to start a business? Why what? Why wouldn't I want to do something?
Kale Lowry
Right?
Becky
And so we drew out business plans for this business. It was a great business idea.
Lux
What was it?
Becky
Okay, so the business idea was I wanted to open a T shirt making business, but for parties for kids, so, like, kids could come in and design their T shirts.
Lux
Okay.
Becky
Birthday party.
Lux
I did that before.
Kale Lowry
And then when I was a child.
Becky
And then get them printed there on a T shirt. Like, actually, like, get them put into designs and then printed on a T shirt.
Lux
So it'd be like, I had a lizard. It was like a. Like a stencil situation. And then, like, it was like a T shirt making thing. And it was like the design. It was a lizard.
Creed
I just love how she waited it. So you said another sentence. And then she goes, I had a lizard.
Becky
Anyway, it was, I. I build out this business plan. And then I went. I, like, went to realtors and like, oh, my God. And found buildings for us to build it in.
Kale Lowry
And.
Lux
And okay, continue.
Becky
And so she's like, great, great. What if she listens to this podcast?
Lux
So where are you going with the catfish story?
Becky
Well, I reached out to her, and then all of a sudden, she stopped answering.
Kale Lowry
Oh, and then it's probably one of your.
Becky
And then her lawyer reached out to me and was like, what?
Kale Lowry
Are you sure it was a real lawyer?
Lux
Did she, like, pretend to be a lawyer?
Becky
I think it was a real lawyer.
Lux
No, she was catfishing.
Becky
He told me that she had been lying to me about how much money she had, that she did come into money. But it, like, it was.
Lux
No lawyer is saying that. Alessandra met my attorney here in New York Up City and New York City.
Creed
New York Up City. We're all so fucking done.
Lux
My lawyer is never New York City. My lawyer would never.
Kale Lowry
Reach out to.
Lux
Alessandra and divulge any information without a waiver.
Becky
You know, the more that I've never said any of this, I am.
Kale Lowry
You're like, Actually, just take it back.
Lux
I wonder why I rebuke this in the name of Jesus.
Becky
Her name was Sam.
Creed
Was it? Actually, though, we don't really know.
Lux
Sam said she came into millions of dollars. Her lawyer reached out and said she was lying.
Becky
And you did what, Sam, I want reparations. Is that the right word?
Creed
Yeah, well, restitution.
Becky
No, like, it. Like it wasn't a physical or thing. Anything like that.
Creed
Did you send her money?
Becky
No, I never gave her anything except my time and attention and my hopes and dreams.
Creed
Nobody steal Becky's business idea.
Becky
Enough time that it's making me still think about it. This went on for a year.
Kale Lowry
Becky, are you.
Lux
Is this why we were not friends?
Becky
No, this. We were friends.
Lux
Why didn't you tell me?
Becky
I didn't tell anyone.
Kale Lowry
I wonder why.
Becky
I wonder if Kim even knows about. I don't even know if I told her.
Kale Lowry
Your ex?
Becky
Yeah. Okay, maybe she listens. Kim did.
Kale Lowry
It was probably her.
Becky
No, I talked to this girl on the phone. It wasn't like. Wasn't just texting. Like, we had. We had business ideas, you know, I.
Creed
Just need to know, like, how did the conversation even start that she was like.
Becky
She probably told me she was a fan of Teen Mom.
Kale Lowry
She told you that?
Lux
And you were like, yes, let's go into business together. This is a great idea to make.
Kale Lowry
T shirts and have stencils.
Becky
I think it was a park coffee shop, too.
Creed
Becky, did you also think that a Prince of Arabia was in your DMS asking you to marry him when you were in high school?
Kale Lowry
What?
Creed
Don't you remember when you would get those DMS or those messages on Facebook? Facebook or MySpace, and they'd be like, I'm the Prince of so and so Place. Like, I love you so much. Will you be my wife? And they're just, like, scamming you. I'll show you my Tick Tock DMS later.
Becky
Yeah, mine are filled of those.
Creed
Yeah.
Becky
On Tick Tock right now.
Lux
I wish someone would ask me at this point. So for those listening, truly, you should call Neve. Call Catfish and let's.
Becky
No.
Lux
So have you talked to Sam since?
Becky
No. And she had a. Like an Instagram. Like it was her. Like, her on it. Like, it wasn't. She catfished me. Like, she was. She catfished me about her money in this situation. Like she was a person. Had a full. She had a girlfriend. I think she was gay. Wow.
Kale Lowry
That's sort of like that random thought that you. You have throughout the day, or like.
Lux
You'Re washing your hair and it just like pops up in your head. That was sort of like my story that I told earlier.
Becky
Well, that's.
Creed
That's karma and therapy for y'all, period.
Rio
Okay, let's talk about what I don't miss at all. The vicious week before your period when you feel like you're crawling out of your skin. And skin that's covered in pimples, mind you. The cravings. I don't know about you guys, but I could have eaten my own hand if it was rolled in batter and deep fried. Okay, but now it's easier to manage PMS with Estro Control. Estro Control is a formula developed by Happy Mammoth. It's a supplement company dedicated to making women's lives easier. Estro Control contains science backed herbal extracts help support hormonal health, especially in women who suffer from pms. I know Becky and I have both talked about this. We've both suffered from it. But the way that extro control eases PMS is actually interesting. So the ingredients help support the liver and that's where the hormones are processed, especially estrogen. So when the estrogen isn't processed well in the liver, women may start having pms, which is just so annoying. Spots on the skin, they get cravings, they feel low all of a sudden. Estro Control was created to help women feel like themselves all throughout the month. Because PMS can rob us of a week of our lives every single month. And it's not fair. Estro Control is made specifically for women who are pre menopausal. So it's perfect for women that haven't entered menopause yet. In fact, it's amazing for perimenopause when hormones start to fluctuate and PMS can turn into an absolute beast. But the great thing is that for a limited time, you guys can get 15 off your entire first order@happy mammoth.com. just use the code Karma at checkout.
Becky
I think about it often. Yeah, she owes me, I think.
Kale Lowry
Yeah, definitely.
Lux
For like emotional damages. Because you thought you were going to be a millionaire.
Becky
What if I look up this concept and she's just like an owner of this company? She stole my idea. Speaking of business ideas, can you give us an update on killer sports?
Lux
Killer sports is breaking ground in the next two weeks. And I'll go to the design meeting to figure out where my office will be, where we're gonna put the bathrooms. We're doing two, like different bathrooms and then just trying to figure out like the layout to get the most use of this.
Becky
Locker rooms or Bathroom?
Lux
No. Just bathroom.
Becky
No locker rooms?
Creed
No.
Lux
I don't have a whole lot of.
Kale Lowry
Space to work with.
Lux
Unfortunately. I only have 10,000 square feet, so unfortunately won't have room for lockers.
Kale Lowry
But this, the goal is for this.
Lux
To be phase one and phase two would be like another building. So I'm really excited. I. You were there last night when the coach of the league that Lincoln and Lux play for were asking do I need financial advice or do I need financial investors? They would love to partner. I've had two other different entities. I guess I'll call them, reach out to talk about contracts for the use of the space. And you know, I, I have high hopes for this and I think that, you know, the next, next, the next several months are going to be really busy trying to like narrow down like the design plan and making sure that we can open December of 2025.
Becky
That's so exciting. Yeah, we were, we went through turf options.
Lux
Yeah, we looked through the turf options, got the estimate on that. And I'm proud to say that as of right now, this is completely self funded. So I'm hoping that people will use it. I know the gym teacher at school, at the kids school was really excited about it and I was like, I.
Kale Lowry
Hope you'll use it it I need.
Lux
I'm self funded. And he was like, I don't worry. So I'm really excited. I'm. I'm hope, I'm hopeful.
Becky
I saw the lot where it's going.
Kale Lowry
Yeah.
Lux
Yep. That was cool. Yeah. And it's like really prime location on the highway. So I'm really, really excited.
Becky
I will just how be fun fact about me.
Lux
I never know what's going to come out of her mouth.
Becky
I. I don't.
Lux
I'm not that sure.
Becky
My first, my first three years of college were spent.
Creed
I'm insane.
Becky
What did she say?
Rio
I'm not that shocking.
Becky
Oh, my first. It's relative to what you just said. All right, just follow this. You just said gym teacher. My first three years of college were spent thinking I was gonna become one of them. And there's this thing where it's. You're not supposed to call them gym teachers.
Rio
Phys Ed.
Becky
Yeah, they're phys Ed teachers that teach in the gym.
Lux
Oh, I didn't know that.
Kale Lowry
Phys Ed teacher. Okay, so the phys Ed teacher said that he was excited about the building.
Becky
If there's a phys ed teacher listening, they'll probably be like, thanks, Becky.
Kale Lowry
Probably.
Lux
Mr. S. Hey, Mr. S. I think you might have passed him that day.
Kale Lowry
I did, yeah.
Becky
When I was dropping off my kids at school.
Lux
Thanks, dad.
Becky
Anyhow, Killer sports.
Lux
Killer Sports will be opened later this year. And I'm very excited. The kids are excited, and I'm excited.
Kale Lowry
Just to have like. Like, it feels really cool to be.
Lux
Part of, like, building something that the community can use. Because I know, like, my hometown, where I grew up in Pennsylvania, has like a really huge try to follow the bouncing ball here. Opioid epidemic, heroin epidemic. And so it's gonna. And I just think back to, like, when I was growing up there, I was not involved in anything. And so when I think about, you know, people that I grew up with that have passed away, I think, okay, well, if I stayed there, that could have been me. And I didn't. I wasn't involved in anything. So, like, knowing that I'm creating a space for youth athletes and, you know, high school athletes or, you know, whoever, to come from the community and be able to use it and have somewhere safe to go to, like, have an outlet and have, you know, leaders and coaches and trainers and be able to have. Because sometimes all it takes is just one person in your childhood to make such a difference and an impact. And I. That's more so, like what I'm thinking of, like, small Kale would have loved to have somewhere to go and like, connect with, like a leader or something, you know?
Becky
Yeah. I just never know if I'm gonna laugh or cry.
Kale Lowry
Well, do you think I'm okay?
Becky
No. That is very sweet and very. Makes me feel very proud of you.
Lux
Thank you.
Becky
You're welcome.
Lux
And I'm happy that I got to, like, share it with you and like, I don't know, like, you are invested in it and I, I am, like, really thankful for that.
Kale Lowry
That you, like, ask about it.
Becky
Yes. And then I'm gonna open up a franchise.
Kale Lowry
Yes. We.
Lux
We literally made jokes about her opening up a franchise in New Jersey, which I think would be cool.
Kale Lowry
And your father in law has like, the property to do it too. So.
Becky
Yeah, I could open one up right in town.
Lux
Perfect.
Becky
Yeah.
Lux
Killer Sports takes New Jersey.
Becky
How crazy would that be?
Lux
That would be really cool.
Becky
That'd be so cool. Look at us.
Lux
Look at us, look at us.
Becky
Wait, I do want to take a poll of what is the saying that you said yesterday?
Lux
I don't know him from a can of paint.
Becky
You've heard that Your guy's opinion doesn't matter. You've heard it. She said it to me in the car on the drive here.
Lux
And I Was just, like, thinking of. Let me think of an example. So we're walking down the street. You might recognize someone. Oh, do you know so and so? No, I don't know him from a can of paint. I don't know him from a can of paint. Like, I could not. I couldn't point him out in a crowd. He's not significant.
Becky
I get what it means now, but, like, it's still. I've never heard it in my entire life. It was like, anytime people. People say stuff around me, like, the people star. And I was like, star pupil.
Lux
A star pupil is the star of the classroom.
Kale Lowry
Who. It just.
Lux
Yeah, like, just the star pupil.
Becky
So this was fun.
Lux
This was a lot of fun. And it was. I needed it. And I hope you don't leave tonight.
Becky
I texted Leah to wrap this up. I texted Leah because my wife misses me. My pregnant wife misses me.
Lux
So you have to go home.
Becky
No, she. She doesn't. She doesn't own me. She's not the boss of it. She said, are you coming home or what? I said, I don't know yet. I briefly mentioned it. Mentioned it. And Kale almost had a nervous breakdown. We haven't started recording yet. Once we finish recording, I'll have a better idea. She said, okay, fine.
Lux
Oh, I guess you can go home to her.
Becky
Thank you all for listening. Stay tuned for the chaos. There was something I wanted to ask everyone, but now I forget that is on my list. Come back next week to hear my ghost stories. Love you guys. Where can you. If they find you? Kale.
Lux
Kale Lowry, come find me. Or don't subscribe to the Patreon Patreon period.
Becky
Make sure to subscribe to for the haters.
Lux
Yes. And we'll catch you all next week.
Becky
Catch you all next week.
Kale Lowry
See ya.

Karma & Chaos with Kail Lowry & Becky Hayter: "In New York Of City" Episode Summary
Release Date: April 1, 2025 | Host: PodcastOne
In the "In New York Of City" episode of Karma & Chaos with Kail Lowry & Becky Hayter, listeners are treated to an engaging and heartfelt conversation as Kail and Becky delve into the complexities and joys of modern adulthood. From rekindling their long-term friendship to navigating family life and tackling unexpected challenges, this episode encapsulates the blend of karma and chaos that defines their lives in their 30s.
The episode opens with Kail and Becky reflecting on the unprecedented amount of time they've spent together recently. Becky humorously acknowledges feeling overwhelmed by their extended time together, stating, “This is the most time we've spent together.
