Kayla
Hey. Hey, Tan.
Kale Lowry
I didn't even recognize you at first.
Kayla
Oh, you know, sunshine will do that to a person. Don't I look refreshed and rejuvenated?
Kale Lowry
You look so happy. And I just feel like maybe we get a vacation house in Florida. Because I want to is you.
Kayla
I mean, I'm literally about to buy. Welcome back everyone to karma and chaos. We're happy.
Kale Lowry
A wild couple. I don't even Know when I saw you last.
Kayla
Good morning, good evening, good day, good night.
Kale Lowry
Yeah.
Kayla
Whenever you're listening to this, when was the last time I saw you?
Kale Lowry
You were here for Elliot's play. And then I think you came the week after that. And then I left for Bama. Then you left us. We were. We were close, but not close enough.
Kayla
I should have just made a pit
Kale Lowry
stop on my way home, honestly. But I'll tell you what, what, what people say. I don't want to say too much about why I was in Delaware. I mean, why I was in Alabama. I mean, people know that I was doing something with Matt. What people think about, okay, like in terms of the incest and the no teeth and the trailer parks and like all of that situation, that's what you hear about Alabama. But I'm here to tell everyone, while there may be a small, small, small portion of that in Alabama, that is all of Delaware. So what people think about Alabama is true of Delaware and not true of Alabama. And Alabama is way more diverse than anyone would think to the point that I would consider. Like the two top places that I would move in the US Are Texas and Georgia. And now I have also added Alabama to the list. Like, that's how much I love Alabama. And you don't think that when you just hear Alabama, you think country bumpkin ass hillbillies.
Kayla
Tell me more.
Kale Lowry
There's just so much to offer. Like, there really is. Like, there's downtown where it's like super busy, and then there's like the countryside, but then there's like hills and mountains and then there's like fishing and then there's. There's like country stuff, but there's also city life. Like there. It's the perfect. It's everything that I also love about Texas and Georgia. Like, it's. It's city and country and I love that where like Delaware, unless you're at the top of the state. Like, it's all flatland, Amish cornfields, country. There's nothing here. Like, we don't. There's nothing here.
Kayla
I'm ready to give up New Jersey. So do you tell me where we're moving and I will find a house there as well.
Kale Lowry
Are you like, are you guys thinking about moving out of New Jersey?
Kayla
If I could move out of New Jersey, I would. And I love, I love the country of New Jersey. It is. Yeah. I live and breathe. I will die in the hill of New Jersey. But I have had an eleven hundred dollar electric bill the past three months and I just can't do that anymore. And I'm not even exaggerating. Like my electric bill has been eleven hundred dollars.
Kale Lowry
So you want to go somewhere warmer?
Kayla
I want to go somewhere warmer. I want to go somewhere where I'm not house poor because like all of my money is going into living.
Kale Lowry
You.
Kayla
I've been looking at houses in Florida and you could buy a really nice three bedroom house for $250,000.
Kale Lowry
I know.
Kayla
You know how much a three bedroom house costs in New Jersey? $600,000, $500,000.
Kale Lowry
That's baseline.
Kayla
That's just for the paying my property taxes. Here are fourteen hundred dollars a month.
Kale Lowry
Are you serious?
Kayla
Yes.
Kale Lowry
Per month.
Kayla
Per frickin month. I need to leave the country of New Jersey.
Kale Lowry
That's wild. Actually. That is insane.
Kayla
Imagine the life that I could live and I could bring to my family for a 300000 house somewhere and just enjoying life. Not paying eleven hundred dollars a month in electric.
Kale Lowry
Well, eleven hundred dollars in electric and then on top of it fourteen hundred dollars a month for property tax is insane.
Kayla
And that's not even including the oil for heat.
Kale Lowry
That's crazy. I actually, I rent out my 20 acres that we were going to build on, which I don't think at this point that we're going to build on it because I want, I would like to move out of the state and I, that's a bigger conversation when Lincoln is in high school because I probably, I won't move before then, but I rent it out to a farmer and the rent is just to cover the property tax. But it's literally like, I wanna, I wanna say it's, it might be like 3, 000 a year for the 20 acres. It's something like $3,000. And he called me while I was in Alabama and he's like hey, I just want to make sure like am I good to farm the land this year? And I'm like yeah. And then it just covers the property taxes and you just keep pushing there. It's not even about like it's fine here, but there's nothing more. Do you know what I mean? Like even New Jersey, like there are way more opportunities in New Jersey. But again like just the cost of living there is so expensive. But those same opportunities in New Jersey would also be in Atlanta, would also be in Dallas, would also be in Alabama. I probably won't move to Alabama but like my number one and two is Dallas and Atlanta and I just.
Kayla
Not to get political but Texas is a scary state for me to live in. As like a female and like abortion laws there.
Kale Lowry
Yeah.
Kayla
That scares. Not because I have to experience it, but like if I had a daughter and they lived in Texas and like just. I don't know what Alabama. I've never even. I don't even know what Georgia laws are. But I am. Lee and I are very interested in buying a house in Florida and becoming snowbirds at 30.
Kale Lowry
So what is a snowbird?
Kayla
Like you go down and live in Florida during the winter months.
Kale Lowry
Well, what would she, what would you. Because you can work remote. But what would she do?
Kayla
Yeah, so either like she could, what she could do in the winter is if she wants to go down to part time. I think, I think that's the goal is for us for her to be able to work part time. And part time is like eight shifts a month. So she could just fly back for a week and work like those eight shifts and then come back down, you
Kale Lowry
know, I mean the dentist that I go to, he splits his time between Delaware and Vegas. Like I think his full time home is in Vegas and he works in Delaware like X amount of days per month because his practice is here and whatever. So it's not unheard of.
Kayla
It's not crazy. We, we're really thinking about it just because we're going to see if Jean, her dad is interested too. And like spending time with my sister was so nice. Spending time with my niece, my brother in law, it was just such a relaxing. Like we did nothing except just went outside, went back in the house like,
Kale Lowry
well, I love that for you. So I didn't relax.
Kayla
No, you did not relax at all in Alabama. Can I just tell you, Lindsay Chrisley is unhinged.
Kale Lowry
She. What do you mean?
Kayla
Yeah, I recorded with her yesterday. First of all, she doesn't know where the router is in her house.
Kale Lowry
What's a router?
Kayla
Like a modem. Like Internet, like the box for your Internet. And then she, I said, she was, she was texting me this morning and she said, why is every. Why do I think everything is funny? I said, I think you're in a psychosis. And she said, meet at 10, me at 10am to all my friends. So what's everyone doing today? I said, do your friends work? She said, probably. I said, imagine if we live close to each other. She's like, kale would kill us. We'd be playing beer pong at 8am and then she goes, you know what's underrated is being done with everything at 11 and being able to take a. In peace is she. Okay?
Kale Lowry
I don't know what the she's talking about. Oh, my God. I want you to know I did take a stripper pole class, and I'm full of bruises all over my body. And when I tell you that there are bruises under the skin that you cannot see be. I'm miserable, and I do. I did also come with a. With a couple topics to discuss.
Kayla
I would not like to move forward yet. I would like to discuss the topic of strippers.
Kale Lowry
Well, I'll tell you again on here, the same thing I told you yesterday. The same thing I said when we were. When we were filming was there is in no way, shape, or form. Nobody can convince me that strippers are less than they work their asses off. Those midnight ballerina are busting their fucking asses for this money. So I don't ever want to say, like, nobody better ever come to me with some kind of joke about a stripper, because I'm going to defend them to the death of me the way that I worked my ass off and still couldn't do what they do.
Kayla
Yeah. I don't know if anyone knows this about me, but I love strip clubs. I feel like I'm almost retired because, like, I haven't been in so long. But any chance I get to go to a strip club, count me in. And Leah loves strip clubs, too. We all might. Like, I love, like, the athleticism and, like, what they can do, and it's just the. There is no better vibe than at a strip club.
Kale Lowry
I can't say that I've been to a strip club lately. I think I've only been to, like, a couple, and they were so long ago, but we went together. Yeah, we did. And then we saw that guy with the naked. Yeah, he was naked. And then. Yeah. No, the athleticism does not ever get considered. And people talk so much about strippers, but, like, it's not even about selling your body. Like, I'm just so impressed with the athleticism. Like, that's really what's down.
Kayla
Like, I love a strip club that has good dancers. Right? Like, not like, oh, I'll tell you what, though.
Kale Lowry
I barely got my feet off the ground. Like, I was fighting for my life. I'm gonna send you some pictures of me struggling.
Kayla
Okay. I can't wait to see the videos of this.
Kale Lowry
Okay. I've heard people talk about GLP1s nonstop, and Becky most recently told me that she's on a GLP1. So let's talk about it. There are tons of benefits of GLP1s. And sometimes people like me especially have fluctuating weight. We get frustrated when we go to the gym and we don't see results. And sometimes even eating right isn't always a one size fits all. That's where GLP1s can come into play. And you guys there are now GLP1 pills, which is amazing. And Robotic offers the first FDA approved GLP1 pill for weight loss at the lowest cost around. The new GLP1 pill has the same weight loss ingredient as the shot and packs a comparable result to the shot. And it can help patients lose 14% of their body weight in a year on average, which is amazing. And the new FDA approved GLP1 pill is available for $149 for the first dose in addition to your RO membership fee and $299 for the higher doses, which is amazing. And the robotic membership includes Access to the FDA approved GLP1s, Unlimited provider, Unlimited provider messaging, side effect management and more, all for just $45 for your first month and $145 every month after the row. Membership fee excludes the cost of the GLP1 medication. But in addition to the newly approved pill, Ro also offers a full suite of the most effective brand name FDA approved GLP1s at the lowest cost. And if you're interested in this, I definitely recommend checking this out after your first online visit. If you're eligible for treatment, you can expect to start your medication in less than a week if you're paying cash, two weeks if you're using insurance. You guys can go to Ro Karma to see if you're eligible for the new GLP1 pill on row. That's Ro Company Karma. To get started with Ro, go to Ro Safety for box warning and full safety information about GLP1 medications based on study in non diabetics with obesity or overweight plus a weight related condition with diet and exercise.
Kayla
To go backwards a little bit. I was just in Florida. Everyone warned me. They were like, because I, you know, talked my shit that flying. Oh my God. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me?
Kale Lowry
So here's me and the stripper heels.
Kayla
Oh. Oh my God. Wow. Okay. Okay. All right.
Kale Lowry
Yeah, it was like, I literally am so embarrassed. Like I texted Chandler and I'm like, Chandler is the videographer. And I'm like, you have to make me funny because I'm just adding zero like I'm doing. But when I tell you that I have no upper body strength whatsoever, you already know this. This is mainly for like all of my Any strength I have is in my legs, which is not much as it is. It was a rough experience.
Kayla
I can't wait to see the footage behind this. Did that influence you to get back in the gym?
Kale Lowry
It did actually. Like, that's really. I have actually been. The problem that I'm having is that I don't have time to physically go to the gym. And night literally was like, well, everyone's like, oh, you make time for what you want. You've heard people say it. You make time for what you want to make time for. No, it literally is not possible. And so I was like, oh, when we open killer sports, I'll be able to work out at killer sports. Well, guess what? We don't open until I go on tour. And so I'm gone for all three months. I'm gone all of June, all of July, and all of August. So, no, I won't be there then either. And then right after August, we're back to school. So I don't know when I'm going to have time to go to the gym. I hope at some point I am, but I have, you know. But it did, like, I'm like, okay, well, maybe I could do like a home workout situation. But like, realistically speaking.
Kayla
Yeah, when maybe let's do like a push up challenge. We have to do like 100 push ups a day or something.
Kale Lowry
I can't even do 110 push ups a day. Okay. Elliot is home today from school because they did PSATs. And then tomorrow he goes to hand in his National Honor Society application and. Hold on. I wanted to. I want to show it because Becky was so generous to write a recommendation letter for my son.
Kayla
Why wouldn't I? My pleasure. I was honored that he asked me to write a letter for him.
Kale Lowry
And I. It's just. I don't like, I cannot believe. So he has a little binder, and then obviously it goes by school. And I don't want his school to be. So this is like the multiple page application location. He had to fill out some of it himself. And then he had to write down, like, clubs and activities that he was in. And then any community service that he's done, which he also added the dream drive, which is what he did with you. And then he founded a ASL club. And then he had to write an essay, which he chose. Passion was his prompt. And then he has his two recommendation letters, one from you and one from somebody else. And so that was just really exciting. Yeah. So just really exciting times. And then Lux got his expander Creed started basketball. Oh, this morning the twins went to their first dentist appointment.
Kayla
And how did that go?
Kale Lowry
It went really well. The dentist opened, so we did Valley first and she was very nervous, but he's like literally the best, and I'll say the best in the state, but for pediatric. And so she's upset and she's worried and she's anxious and then he's brushing her teeth and he's like, oh, how old is she? And I'm like, she's two. And he's like, well, she has all 20 teeth, so she has all of her three year molars already. And I was like, oh, okay. So then. Then Verse gets in and. And he's like, oh, he also has all 20 of his teeth. That was just funny because I'm like, I don't even know what the teeth schedule is. Like, I don't know. But he was like a little bit surprised that both of them had all their teeth.
Kayla
I have no clue. Not. Not no insight to any of that.
Kale Lowry
Well, and then you sent me a picture of Bex with in the cockpit of the plane and you said, he's amazing on planes, which is so great because he's at the age where like they get a little hard at that age on planes because they don't want to just sit still.
Kayla
That's what everyone was saying. So when I said that he did great on his first flight at four months, everyone was like, just wait till he's eight months old. Or you know, above. The kid did amazing on the plane. Like we had the kid. Yeah, he was. He took a little nap on the way down and then we just like hung out with him the rest of the time. And then on the way home, he slept for like an hour, which was nice. And then he just like likes to just bounce up and down. So I was just bad. He was playing peekaboo with the guy behind me. Actually on the way there, I forgot to say this. So we book the first row because that is what works best for us. So that he can like sit in front of us or like not work. They moved our seats and so they were like, that first row is not available. You're here. And we're like, not your fault, but this sucks. And she was like, I'll try to put you so that there's no third person because we didn't get him his seat when we sit in the front row. And so there was a third person, but then there was a seat behind us open. So Leah moved behind us and it was and then me and Bex were in front, and Leah was sitting next to this woman, and she, like, wanted to hold Bex, like, half the floor. Flight, like, was just hanging out with him and, like, loving on him. It was so freaking cute. And it just, like, reminds you that there's, like, such good people out there. Like, he was fine, but. Yeah, like, he was fine, but she was just, like, so excited to, like, be in the presence of the baby. He's getting his second tooth. And also he started crawling, which is crazy. And there is nothing cuter than a baby drinking out of a sippy cup on their own. He learned. He learned how to drink out of a sippy cup. And, like, it is. It's the cutest thing.
Kale Lowry
I mean, it's a Stanley. Yeah, they have baby Stanley's now. I better get him a Stanley. I better order it. I'm writing it down. Stanley 4. Becks.
Kayla
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
I don't make the rules. That's just how it goes.
Kayla
He's just. It's so cute. He's getting, like, funny, except he has a really bad diaper rash right now, and that's really sad. But he loved Florida. He loved the pool.
Kale Lowry
He loved the weather. We have to get a vacation house in Florida. Yeah, if it wasn't for the hurricanes, I would also consider Florida.
Kayla
Why don't we get a vacation home? Like, in the same neighborhood? Yeah, I feel like you need your own house with that many kids.
Kale Lowry
Yeah, I would agree. I probably do. Definitely agree.
Kayla
Yeah. So, yeah, I have a million things. Oh, baby proofing the house. We have to baby proof the house now. Definitely just got outlet covers. I just ordered a thing for the fire in front of the fireplace, but I put up a really safe baby gate on the steps downstairs. But I don't think I'm gonna do much other baby proofing. I don't know yet.
Kale Lowry
I have never really baby proofed. I never. But my kids also didn't regularly get into things, so it wasn't something that I needed to do. But some people do.
Kayla
Wait, can I just tell you about what happened? We were in Florida. I met this guy, and he was looking at Becks, and he was like, oh, how old is he? And he goes, oh, like, something alluding to, like, him wanting another. He has two sons. They're older. They're like, not. They're not teenagers, but they're. They're not babies anymore. And I'm like. And I said, oh, you forget so quickly how disruptive a baby is. And he goes, oh, no. Like, I Don't really do anything the first two years. Like, I don't help. I don't really participate the first two years. And he said it in a way that, like, the crap, like the people around us like to like, you know, and like he thought he was so cool for saying it. And I. And Leah like, looks over at me and. And I was like, I can't believe people like this exist. Like, he was dead serious that he did not. And I was just like, what?
Kale Lowry
Like, I know a lot of. A lot of parents, a lot of dads. That's why it's when you would talk about how. How challenging it is to have an infant and a, you know, a toddler with a really good partner, like the. The parents that don't. And then so like, that's what I was kind of trying to tell you back when I was, you know, younger. And I had, like. Not that I didn't want to do it, but I was so young that I. My mind was just somewhere else. And so like me and Joe or me and Javi would go at it because neither one of us were in a position to be raising a child. And like, you have to be selfless and choose the child over yourself. And so, yeah, a lot of the. The brunt of that was put on me. And they got to do whatever it is that they can. They got to continue doing whatever it was that they were doing, you know, and so it was just like a default. But like, there are parents. I know one of my cousins used to talk about how her. I mean, she had two kids with her ex husband. He wasn't really involved until they could start talking and walking.
Kayla
That's crazy. Like the. I am so sorry for anyone that's listening that experienced this or that's currently experiencing it. And like, if you're in that situation like that, like, don't let the man act like, act as if he doesn't have any type of responsibility or it shouldn't be putting effort or shouldn't be helping because that. Raising a kid is hard.
Kale Lowry
It's so hard.
Kayla
Yeah.
Kale Lowry
Stuff will come up like. And you'll be like, oh, nobody prepared me for that either. So what we're going to talk about now is Rocket Money. Why? Because I love it. And when you find yourself in a situation where you just realize that you're spending too much money and you want to cut back, Rocket money is a great place to start. Start. And I'm going to tell you why. There's several reasons why I actually first used Rocket Money to help me find and cancel unwanted subscriptions. And I know that sounds so dumb, but when I did it, it pulled eight subscriptions right off the bat that I completely forgot about, didn't realize I was using. And I was actually paying for two streaming services with two different credit cards and they were both in my name, so that's embarrassing. And I did save for my in ground pool using Rocket Money because you can create your own budgets and accounts that through Rocket Money, which I love. And Rocket Money can track your subscriptions and has the ability to cancel the unwanted ones for you. And Rocket Money has actually saved over $880 million in canceled subscriptions. So I'm telling you, check them out for that reason alone. There's also automatic transaction categorization across your accounts and you can do customizable categories and tags to reveal your spending patterns, which is really nice. So this is how I was able to set budgets for my in ground pool. I did that in 2022. I believe you just create an account and you can do it all that way. And I absolutely love this app because it keeps everything organized and you can see everything in a really user friendly way, which makes it so easy for people like me. I'm not tech savvy at all. Through Rocket Money, you can set budgets and goals and get personalized insights and regular reports and receive real time alerts for large transactions, upcoming bills, refunds and low balances, which again, is really nice. And users who create a financial goal with Rocket money save over $70 on average within the first 30 days. Okay, when we're looking at the big pict, $70 a month could make a huge difference, right? So the Rocket Money app will actually help you consolidate checking, savings, loans and investments into a single dashboard to give the users a clear view of their financial picture, which is why my own financial advisor even recommended this. And they have automatic savings that grow towards goals with adjustable amounts and frequencies so you can set it and forget it, which is a nice approach to have. Rocket Money is a personal finance app that helps you find and cancel unwanted subscriptions, monitors your spending, and helps you lower your bills so that you can grow your savings. Let Rocket Money help you reach your financial goals faster. Join@RocketMoney.com Karma that's RocketMoney.com KarmaRocketMoney.com Karma this episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. I've been on this side of TikTok that is kids of kids of two mom households. So like adult kids that were raised in two mom households and just like learning like things that they liked and you know, things that help them. And I've so this side of tick tock of like growing up in a house that didn't have gender roles where it was based on what was the word? It was based on capacity, not on gender roles. So like responsibilities landed on those that had capacity to do so. And I thought that was such like a beautiful way to like kind of put it right. Like I don't have. We don't have gender roles in our house of like things that we do. It's just who has the capacity at the time to kind of do it and that's who it lands on. And I think that's such like an equal way of thinking.
Kale Lowry
Like sharing, sharing responsibilities, dividing and conquering is like okay Obviously, I see that you can't do that, but that's also like anticipating needs too, because you have to recognize in your partner that, like, sometimes it goes like, obviously communication is important, but sometimes you don't have the time or the ability to communicate in that moment. And so you have to anticipate, okay, that person's still. My partner's still working. I need to just handle this. And they don't have to ask me. I just do it a hundred percent.
Kayla
Yeah. Leah said to me yesterday, we were talking about vacation, and she was like, I feel like it was so nice because neither of us, like, felt like, fully responsible. Like, we like, tag teamed vacation so well. It never felt like one or the other had, like, had too many responsibilities at once.
Kale Lowry
And when you are the default parent or you have, you're taking on all of it, then you can build resentment 100% for sure.
Kayla
And, like, that's what we don't ever want to happen. Like, I'm a pool. Like, I'll stay in a pool for hours. Like, I, I, if there's a pool, I'm in it. Which works out for us because, you know, like, I enjoy hanging out with Bex in the pool. And like, so Leah got time to relax, you know, just sitting outside. And then when it came time for his nap, she took him and like, just in his stroller, he falls asleep, like, right by the pool in his stroller and, like, just walked him and he fell asleep. So it never felt like we were. Our time was just being spent taking care of him.
Kale Lowry
I love that.
Kayla
Yeah. So it was, it was, it was nice. Speaking of tick tock, are you, have you been on the match day? Like, it's back to match day time of year.
Kale Lowry
I have not been on Tick Tock. I haven't been on most socials, you know, in about a week. Like, I've scrolled a little bit, but I haven't been on it much because I've just been, I've actually been reading and then also all the things. Yeah. And so, no, I haven't. But I did see a video of Allison Cooch crying about Match Day. And I was like, damn, I'm missing the videos.
Kayla
But they're so good.
Kale Lowry
I can't cry right now. I have too much going on inside my. So I just, I don't have it in me.
Kayla
Well, I been getting a lot of, like, minorities, like people of color and, you know, people outside the norm of Match Day or not. Not outside the norm. Just like, you know what I'm Trying to say. And it's just so. I'm just so proud of so many strangers.
Kale Lowry
Oh, I. First of all, I'd be crying for these people as if I'm getting into the. I'm getting matched.
Kayla
Yeah. Literally. Yeah. Or if I know them, like, my life's gonna be changed because of it.
Kale Lowry
But I also. It wasn't until tick tock that I knew that people got matched to programs. Like, I. I did not know that last year. No, no, I know. But I'm saying until that point, I did not know that.
Kayla
Yeah, Yeah. I saw this TikTok that was talking about how it said, if my arms fall off, I can't make a new arm, but I can grow them. Grow them. And it was just going on to say how, like, I could lose a limb, but I could grow a million more like, babies. Like, as a female. Like, I can't grow back something of my own, but I could grow, like, a human from, like, scratch. And I. The first comment was like, this just pissed me off. And I was.
Kale Lowry
That brings me to my next question. And I did ask Lindsay on coffee combos, but Ike and I have had this, like, regular rage bait. Rage bait debate.
Kayla
Mm.
Kale Lowry
It irks my fucking soul that he has said to me, and I'm pretty sure it's rage bait. I don't want anyone to hate him. He says, men. Men bring life. And I. My argument is. No, the. They don't. Right. Like, they add a little splash to it. But women bring life, and the exact
Kayla
same piss me off.
Kale Lowry
You hear that?
Kayla
In what. In what world? In what world? Like, what is the logical thinking behind that? Men bring life?
Kale Lowry
Because his argument is that. Because without the semen, there is no life. I said, yes, but a mother could choose to abort mission, or if she dies by mistake, there's no life to be brought equal.
Kayla
It's equal playing fields. You can't bring life without an egg or semen. Right. So it's equal. We remove that equal playing field, that barrier is gone. It's 50. No, it's 50. 50 in the start. In the. In the playing field initiation. But that's one. That's 1%. That's 1% of child growth. Hell, no. No, no, no. You are growing a human for nine months in your belly. You think two weeks of fertilization is 25% of that? Hell, no. I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure I saw something that, like, if we killed off all men, we would still be able to, like, because of all the sperm that's in sperm banks, we would still be able to procreate and like, last a really long time without the need of any man. Like, if you wiped all women from the. If you. If you wiped all women from the face of the earth, there would be no more.
Kale Lowry
Oh yeah, that's a really good point.
Kayla
Also, I know that I'm like, reading through my list. I saw another tick tock and I think I'm on the up. I think I'm crawling myself out of depression. I am on a little bit of a cycle this month, which is I
Kale Lowry
have my period this month. I bled through my pants on the airplane yesterday to the point that I wanted to offend myself because I just bled through everything.
Kayla
Not the cycle I was talking about, but the great added value. Anyway, I saw a TikTok and it was talking about how it was like this girl, she was going on this poet poetic rant, but the premise of it was that the world is worth fighting for because my friends are in it. And I was like,
Kale Lowry
that's really sweet. I don't feel that way though. Like, I love you all, but I can't.
Kayla
What are you eating? From where? Wawa. Just a cup of pickles.
Kale Lowry
I went and got me a sub from Wawa, which I didn't even get to tell you. Wawa's out. Publix is in. I went to Publix for the first time, got pub subs every day I was in Alabama. Nothing will ever compare to a pub sub again.
Kayla
There's Publix in Florida.
Kale Lowry
What? No Wawa sandwich will ever compare to a pub sub?
Kayla
No, there's Publix in Florida. So we should. We should just move to Florida.
Kale Lowry
And so he got me a sub and he told them white bread and they put it on wheat bread. And I don't like wheat bread. And I tore my mouth up because I burned my mouth on pizza yesterday. And so it was really hard for me to even take a bite of the sub. But I digress.
Kayla
You certainly do digress. Have I eaten? I actually got good pizza. And when I was in Florida, which is surprising because it's the water that makes like up here that makes it the dough better. But like, what? It's the water. It like, that's why, like, pizza and bagels, like, it rises differently.
Kale Lowry
What?
Kayla
But look at how. Look how good this pizza looked.
Kale Lowry
Wow, that does look good. Yeah, I could go throw good Pizza Hut pizza.
Kayla
What?
Kale Lowry
I do love, like, pizzeria style pizza, but I also love Pizza Hut. Like, Pizza Hut has had my Heart since Susie took me there on a Tuesday in 1995. You know what I mean?
Kayla
Yeah, yeah, it's nostalgic.
Kale Lowry
Said. Oh, wow.
Kayla
Oh, Rebecca's there?
Kale Lowry
Yeah, she just got back.
Kayla
Oh, hi. How come she didn't tell me I looked tan?
Kale Lowry
What? You didn't tell her she looks tan?
Kayla
Oh, you do look tan. I saw the picture of you and Leah and Bex. Oh, my gosh.
Kale Lowry
You were so stinking dark. Well, jealous.
Kayla
I'm seriously jealous. My. You know how my friend. My friend opened up her med spa, so. Yeah, I told Lindsay yesterday when I was recording with her, too. So if you're listening to this, you're in the East Stroudsburg area, East Strasbourg, Pennsylvania area. You need to go and check out Thrive Aesthetics. It's a new med spa. It's beautiful. I'm so proud of her. Yeah. So maybe Kayl and I will do like a little live event there.
Kale Lowry
Oh, yeah, that would be fun. Also, while we're shouting out our friends, small businesses, I wanted to shout out my friend Tiffany's small business she just started here in Delaware. It's called Mother Nurture and it's a composting service. So normally all my scraps go to the pigs. So now I'm dividing it between composting services and the pigs. And you can also put paper products in there. And then she returns compost back to you with, like, soil. I don't know. It's cool. And I really love that it's good for the environment and I want to start growing vegetables.
Kayla
I don't think that's going to end well.
Kale Lowry
So I don't have to bend down. So I would like to. But for now, I can use the soil for, like, my house plants.
Kayla
That sounds great. That sounds awesome. Yeah.
Kale Lowry
I just love what she's doing for the environment. So I just want to shout her out and I'll take.
Kayla
Yeah. Where can they contact her?
Kale Lowry
Right now it's just locally in Delaware and she's in Smyrna, Delaware. But I will post the information because every little share counts, like when it comes especially for small businesses. So, like, even if you're not local, just showing support to her page or reposting something is free. It's good for the environment, like I said, even if it's not local to you, maybe it'll inspire you to look for other services local to you. So shout out to Mother Nurture.
Kayla
Shout out to Mother Nurture.
Kale Lowry
This episode of karma and chaos is brought to you by booking dot com. I've got to Say, if you're looking to grow your vacation rental business, this is the place to be. Booking.com is one of the most downloaded travel apps in the world. And for good reason. Since 2010, they've helped over 1.8 billion vacation rental guests find places to stay. That's billion with a B. But here's the thing. Most vacation rental hosts don't even realize that they can list their properties on booking.com and if you're not on the platform, your rental is basically invisible to millions of Booking.com travelers worldwide. After all, they can't book what they can't see, right? But once you start listing on booking.com, your property gets seen by a massive global audience of unique travelers. That means more visibility, more bookings, and more opportunity to accelerate the growth of your rental business. And it couldn't be any easier. You can register your property in as little as 15 minutes. And nearly half of hosts get their first booking within a week. So if your vacation rental isn't listed on booking.com, it could be invisible to millions of travelers searching the platform. Don't miss out on consistent bookings and global reach. Head over to booking.com and start your listing today. Get seen, get booked on booking.com.
Kayla
Speaking of small businesses and supporting exciting news, I will officially be releasing the new style of for the haters episodes on April 6th.
Kale Lowry
April 6th, 2026. Insert applause.
Kayla
I. Okay, I. I think I might have talked about. I don't know. I don't know if I finished it by the time I was there. I've never felt this proud about anything and like I've really excited. So I need to preface this and I need everyone to just give it a shot and listen to it. It is a sad episode. The first one and I under. And they're all not going to be heavy like that because I know that's a lot of the feedback. Like listening to constantly heavy episodes is a lot. This first one is sad. But they're like, just listen to it because I'm really proud of what I've done and my. I'm gonna call her my friend. My friend Emily is helping kind of produce. Is helping produce that as not kind of. She's helping produce it as well. There's narration. Like I speak through it as if like I'm reading, writing my reading my journal of listening to the story and kind of bringing that. Bringing the episode along with you, with me. So please give it a shot. April 6th. Mark your calendar. Listen to it. Let me know what you think? I'm really proud of this and I haven't felt like that around something in a while, so.
Kale Lowry
And Rebecca and I also were able to listen to a preview and I really loved it. Like I thought that it was, I don't know, it's just, it separates you from, from other podcasts that even Barely Famous, right? Because Barely Famous is a interview style podcast like yours. Very different topics sometimes, but it separates you from those like host based interview style podcasts or sorry, one host based interview style podcast 100. I'm really excited for you for your new, your new podcast.
Kayla
I think this is it. I really believe that this like I can see like these style, this style of like audio, like kind of even like winning awards for like the creativity and like the production behind it too. And I think it's just going to keep growing. Yeah. I did send the episode to Stacy and she sent really great feedback around it.
Kale Lowry
Stacy is great. We love Stacy from podcast one.
Kayla
Yeah. So please April 6th and I will remind you again, give it a shot. Listen to it, let me know what you think. I'm really proud of, of it. And yeah, I also was talking today to my friend Jamie who we talked about last time. I'm thinking about maybe doing like putting together a weekend retreat.
Kale Lowry
Oh, that would be fun. Yeah, that would be really fun. That was weird. That was a weird sound. When this episode is airing, tour will have been announced. And so. Yes. And so you guys can get tickets@kalelowry.com and see if we're coming to a city near you. Becky is gonna. I'm going to send you an updated list of tour dates. Vancouver and Anaheim were also added to the list as well as two New York dates, affiliate, etc. There are 23 cities and three countries.
Kayla
That's wild.
Kale Lowry
Like what the fuck?
Kayla
That's crazy.
Kale Lowry
Every single tour date is when I don't have my children. So I just want to say shout out to Oscar because he really hooked this shit up and Live Nation did this and made sure that I was booked when I don't have my kids.
Kayla
So yeah. So coming to a city near you. Hopefully I'm not going to be on all of them because I can't commit to that. But I'll be at the ones I can be at.
Kale Lowry
Yes. And then Lindsay will be at some, Alessandra will be at some. And then I'm going to have a couple other special guests for some of the other day.
Kayla
I feel like I will try to surprise you at one of them. Not surprise You. I'll tell you, but I think we should surprise Lindsay. Like, I should go to one where she's gonna be there.
Kale Lowry
Okay. And surprise. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you will 100 be at the London one?
Kayla
Yes.
Kale Lowry
And then second to that is. I was gonna say something else. Oh, we're doing. We're offering VIPs as well, and. But they're limited. The VIP is limited, so it's, like, not. I think I'm offering 75 per show. So the first two shows are 1300 people, and there's only 75 meet and greets for each.
Kayla
What are you going to talk to them about?
Kale Lowry
Whatever they want. Whatever they want.
Kayla
Okay.
Kale Lowry
Honestly, we'll just have a good time. Maybe I'll bring. Maybe I'll bring a stripper pole, and we can all have a class.
Kayla
Yeah, maybe.
Kale Lowry
I'm just kidding. I. That's too much. Listen, strippers don't get enough credit for the hard work they do.
Kayla
Facts, facts, facts. I accidentally agreed to playing softball this
Kale Lowry
summer for a team.
Kayla
Yeah. So, like, my friend agreed to that. Because my friend who opened this med spa was like, hey, would you be interested in playing softball? And I said, no.
Kale Lowry
So you accidentally agreed?
Kayla
And then she was like, don't you think it might be fun to, like, meet new people and, like, you know, like, have this sense of community? They all go and they bring their kids, and they, like, it's once a week during the night. Weekday, which is great. Like, weekends are hard to, like, do anything.
Kale Lowry
Yeah.
Kayla
She's like, if. If I. I'm only doing it if you do it.
Kale Lowry
And you were like, all right, now I have.
Kayla
And I was like, let me ask Leah. And I texted Leah, and she was like, it sounds like something that might be good for you.
Kale Lowry
Oh, see, we love supportive partners like that. Truly. Like, anyone. Any partner who has that sort of answer is like, all right.
Kayla
Yeah. And so I said yes. And so now I don't even know where it is, how it is, and then I don't even know if it's slow pitch, fast pitch.
Kale Lowry
I just. Also, before we get into is it karma or is it chaos? I need to tell you that apparently. Well, not apparently. Facebook told me, okay, that I was arrested after they found a dead body in my home. What? That's what Facebook said.
Kayla
Why would it say that?
Kale Lowry
It said Kale Lowry was a. Kale Lowry was arrested shortly after police discovered a dead body in her home.
Kayla
Like, how is this legal to do?
Kale Lowry
Because that. That's a really good point.
Kayla
That's crazy. And I Be believing stuff like that too.
Kale Lowry
You know it says yes. Clickbait headlines are generally legal, but there's an important line they can't cross. Click it. Clickbait is allowed when it's exaggerated or sensational. You won't believe what happened. Begged or curiosity driven. When it becomes illegal is a headline can cross into legal trouble if it. If it involves libel. Making a false statement presented as facts. Oh, wow. So that's like an illegal.
Kayla
That's what I'm saying.
Kale Lowry
What is this even legal? This is libel. And I'm going after you say liable. No, libel is when defamation is in writing.
Kayla
Like how's it spelled?
Kale Lowry
I B, E L. Oh, interesting. There's libel, slander, and defamation. Is this legal?
Kayla
Thank you, guys. I'm gonna. I gotta go. I gotta hand off to Ike. He's gonna do. Is it. Karma is a chaos with Kale. I love you guys so much. I'm. I'm crawling out of depression. I'm happy about life. I'm thankful for life. I'm thankful for you, Kale, and our friendship. And I'm happy to be here. And I'm looking forward to the next time we get to see each other.
Kale Lowry
Love you so much.
Kayla
Love you.
Kale Lowry
All right. I've been doing a little spring reset in my closet lately, focusing more on quality than focusing more on quality over quantity. And just building a capsule wardrobe with pieces that are well made, they're versatile and easy to reach for every single day. And that's why I keep going back to Quinn's. They truly have. They have so many fabrics that feel elevated, and their fits are just thoughtful. And pricing actually makes sense for me, especially for. I'm balling on a budget for myself. I have seven kids that all my money goes to. So for me, I want something that is timeless and it makes sense for my bank account and also looks good on. Quince makes the most beautiful everyday pieces with premium materials like 100 European linen, organic cotton, and super soft denim with style starting around $50. And their spring pieces are lightweight. They're breathable and effortless. It's the kind of things you can just throw on and instantly look pulled together, which is really nice. And the same focus on materials carries over to their accessories. So they have leather bags which are made from 100 hand woven Italian leather and honestly look way more expensive than you would think. I just got a crossbody bag. It's like an olive green color. I got new sunglasses. I got a ring. I love quints so much. And Quinn's work directly with ethical factories and cuts out the middleman. So you're not paying for that. You're paying for the quality, not the brand markup. Refresh your spring wardrobe with quince. Go to quince.com Karma for free shipping and 365 day returns. They're now available in Canada too. Go to q I n c.com karma for free shipping and 365 day returns. Quince.com karma. Okay, so Becky had to step out and now Ike and I are going to do Is it Karma or Is it Chaos? And this is his first one, so bear with him. We have a submission in the podcast group of the Is it Karma or is it chaos? My ex boyfriend cheated on me and I immediately went no contact, unfollowed, all socials. Blocked his number. It's almost been two years and it's been silent the whole time. Tell me why this pops up on my Tick Tock Follow suggestions and it's him on what I assume is his new Tick Tock account. He still follows my kids and I still follow his with the same exact profile picture that I use as his contact in my phone. It was a character from a show we watched. So hella specific. And his username is a secret hashtag we used. It was just a thing that meant I love you followed by my favorite number. Like what? In the whole. He's still the. He's still with the woman he cheated on me with and I just find it so disgusting and disrespectful. I think. I feel like this is good karma for me because he did make a whole ass account all about me two years later and complete chaos on his part when he was the one that ruined our relationship. Bro. Why. Why is he still doing things from their relationship when he's in a whole new relationship?
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
I feel like he trying to. Trying to show like some kind of like sympathy. No, wrong word.
Kale Lowry
Do you feel like she's the one that got away if he's still thinking about her two years later and making accounts with their like, relationship stuff?
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
Yeah. Yeah. He probably regrets what led up to him cheating and things like that. So he's trying to make it back. He's trying to do things to show that he's still there.
Kale Lowry
Would you do that?
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
No.
Kale Lowry
Once you're done, are you done?
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
I'm done.
Kale Lowry
You're not gonna make something with like hashtags from your previous relationship?
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
No. I don't even like having social media, let alone making fake accounts and doing all that unnecessary stuff.
Kale Lowry
What does it mean if A man's checking up on their. What does it mean if a man is checking up on their ex girlfriend or wife?
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
I feel like there could be kind of two different viewpoints. One could be, you know, I miss you and, and I regret all of this. Other things. There could also be something where, you know, hey, hope all is well, like, kind of on like a friendship level.
Kale Lowry
Would you talk to an ex on a friendship level?
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
Not necessarily. No. No, I, I don't like if the relationship's over. Right. And it could have been. If it's like a mutual, like, hey, like we're just drifting apart. Drifting apart. I, I think if you could, if you had to communicate with an ex, like, if it's just a mutual drifting apart, I think it, there could be some kind of healthy relationship where, hey, you know, if they're married or something, hey, I see that you're married. Your son or daughter's cute.
Kale Lowry
You know, just like niceties. What is it called? Niceties. Or like just saying hi, how are you? Like, things like that. Or if you run into them at the store, it's like just saying hi.
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
Yeah, but I, I think when it goes to the level of making a new account and really putting key things in that account, knowing that that person that you follow will check to see, you know, who is this person who followed. Oh, it's this person. Oh, they still have this hashtag. They're still doing all this other shit. So ultimately I think that they regret doing what they did and they're throwing out little key things to still try to remain relevant.
Kale Lowry
Well, I think it's also disrespectful to their current partner because they broke up two years ago. And you're making an account with your exes, like, whatever you had going on
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
in your relationship, they'll follow each other's kids.
Kale Lowry
That's tough. I think when kids are involved, that does get a little bit convoluted. But I also think that at some point you usually. Obviously there's always exceptions to the rule, but sometimes you do have to like break that with the kids as well. I'm gonna do a second one scene set. I'm 20 years old, Brand new wife and mom. My now ex husband is a chef with a gambling and drinking problem. Rarely comes straight home from work even though we have a new baby. So one Friday night, he does not come home from work. No surprise. But this man did not come home until Monday morning at 10am he says to me, I won at the casino. If I gave you $5,000. Will you let me sleep until I have to go to work, which is 2:00pm I said, sure, no problem. I took the cash, went and deposited it into my personal bank account, went back to the house and plopped the baby on him and left. I went to my mom's and and watched him struggle all day on the cameras until 1:30. I still don't feel bad. Only thing I will give him is he did stay awake and take care of our son. He was a good dad when I was there, which wasn't much, honestly. Job well done. That's not karma or chaos for you, babe. That is karma and chaos for him. Because who leaves their partner for three days and then just says, if I give you $5,000, will you let me? No, I'm taking the money and I'm going. I'm leaving because you just left me with the child for three days and you think $5,000.
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
And his phone was probably dead or
Kale Lowry
off or turned his location off location also. What? Who's to say that he didn't cheat during those three days? Because yeah, great, you went at the casino, but did you also sleep with someone?
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
That is true.
Kale Lowry
It's a fair.
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
It could be $5,000 to just. Hey, I know for the past three days I haven't done, you know, this is to make it up. But then also it was, well, let me sleep in.
Kale Lowry
Okay, But I just had the baby for three days. I want to sleep in.
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
Yeah, you can't have. You can't have both. Well, he's wrong regardless.
Kale Lowry
Well, thanks for doing. Is it karma or is it chaos? Where can people find you?
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
They could find me on only Tick Tock. That's it. My Tick Tock is the fliest fisherman.
Kale Lowry
Perfect. Thanks.
Guest Host / TikTok Commentator
