For a reason. And we were. We weren't very far from home. We were at the Roan World show, which, yeah, everyone's like, why are there so many world shows? You know, that's just the big shebang at the end of the year. It is, it is actually open to the world. It. People just didn't travel for it. It's a newer organization, and so it was a bit smaller than, let's say the AQHA World show or the Apha World Show. But. But yeah, I don't know if you. I don't know if you notice in the middle of the table.

So. Well, I was about to get on something that's a conspiracy theory, and we're just not gonna get.

But we did, so. Yeah, you might have to just, like, jump and run at any moment, though. Is that why you're in a suit?

No, I'm just. What? I'm just trying for catch up with Katie. I did almost watch a YouTube video for, like, birthing in a car. It's like, the last time she woke up, she was like, I. Like, you know, her water had started leaking or whatever. Like, oh, we should go to the hospital. And went to the hospital and had a baby. Like, it was never, like, the baby's coming type situation. So that's what I'm more nervous about.

We're like, an hour from the hospital. So I was, like, birthed in the car. Like, I would for sure if I felt like I could.

But I didn't end up watching the YouTube video, so I want to be out of luck.

Yeah. And I've seen the Andy Griffith show, and I've like, oh, my gosh.

I'm. I'm too confident that I think I could just handle it.

Yeah. Like, you see it in westerns all the time. They're like, we don't have a doctor. Like, well, the husband's going to have to do it. Just get me some hot water. And all you need is hot water and towels.

But, like, what's the hot water for.

I've always wondered sterilization.

Well, she had just like, this is just a different process. Like, she's like, the. The. She's doing the. The. The. And I'm so naive on this subject. She's doing, like, the. The things as opposed to, like, the water's leaking. Now we're gonna go do all this. It's like we're doing the process. Like, oh, she. This is happening. So, like, okay, now we're in. Like, it's probably gonna happen within a week or whatever. Like, these things are progressing, so it could be. It's like, hey, you know, we're just on. We're gonna find out more today in like, an hour.

Yeah, I don't. This has just been different. It's just like, the first one, we were just like, oh, my gosh, first baby and whatnot. And we're like, Maddie made a comment yesterday. She, like, feels bad for her because we weren't like, oh, my gosh, belly. Because there's just another live one right there.

You know, it's just so second time around is a lot more relaxed, so

I feel that a little bit.

Well, jumping back to the. The horse show, a lot of people were like, what is. What does this mean? Like, what? Like, you. You're saying this is a Rhone World show, but then you're going to the NSBA World show, and then you're going to the AQHA World show, and then you're going to the Congress and, like, what. It. This is words at this point. And I'm like, what kind of. It is? Like, it is just kind of like what you want it to be. And so, like, I made a video explaining it as best as I could. And the comment section, instead of being like, oh, okay, that makes sense now. Was like, how very American of you to make it all about you. It's not the world. And, oh, it was so wild. Like, what did you do all the comments? No, I was just like, Jamaica video. Like, stock horses, which is in the United States, generally, like, thought of as quarter horses and paint horses and like, Appaloosas and stuff like that. So stock horses, they all kind of had the same standard for their, like, how they're built, how they move, the same types of classes at the shows, that kind of deal quarter horses. And I want to be careful with how I say this, because I don't want to, like, take away from any other breed. But, like, quarter horses tend to be, like, the standard and they're the foundation. So for that reason, like Appaloosas, an Appaloosa mare can breed to a quarter horse stallion. But, like, I. I couldn't breed one of my mares to an Appaloosa stallion and register it. Quarter horse. Like, Appaloosas are allowed to bring in quarter horse blood, but we're not allowed to bring in Appaloosa blood. Yeah, same thing with, like, paints. So, like, there are double registered paints and quarters. I don't know how that got started, and I don't know how it works. So, like, my double registered mares who are painting quarter, they can kind of breed with either. And I don't know, it's kind of. It's kind of weird, but those are, like, the breeds. And then there are color registries. So for the color registries, you have to be first a part of one of the stock breeds. So you have to be a quarter horse or a Appaloosa or a paint horse. And then if you're a palomino or a buckskin or in this case, a roan, you can be a part of the color registry. And they have their own separate kind of deal. Like, you go. It's kind of. It gets smaller and smaller because you're just limiting the amount of horses that can be in the association. And. And the Roan Horse association is newer, and so there's just not that many people there. Like, and it's getting bigger, and it was bigger this year, and I sponsored the super horse, and I was so happy that we got to, like, see this really cool show. And. And, I mean, I thought there was a good amount in my class. There was 19 in my class.

Oh, yeah.

So, like, if it keeps getting bigger, it'll have to be split into prelims and then go into finals and all that good stuff. So.

Yeah. Cause it wasn't that long. It was four days. Yeah.

Uh, they don't have as many classes as they would like. To as well. They want to grow. Um, and so for that registry, you have to either be roan or have a roan parent. They probably, as they get bigger, will limit it to where it's like, okay, the Rhone bred horses. So the horses that have roan parents are over in these classes, and then the roans are in these classes. But, like, they do the same thing with buckskins and with palominos, and I think they do it with Duns and I don't know.

But the comments were upset that it was called the World Show.

[A]

Yeah. And I'm like, well, here's the thing.

No.

So there's no geographical restrictions on.

No, absolutely not.

So anyone in the world?

Yes. Nobody in the world just showed up.

No, but like, at the World show, like, I remember as a youth kid at the AQHA World show, which people say the same crap about that. I'm like, no, there were so many countries. Like, it was a whole thing. One of the. One of the evenings at the Youth World show, we would have, like, our parade of states and countries. And so, like, Canada, Austria, Germany, Italy. There was some South American countries. I think there was Mexico and Argentina. And, like, I mean, it was a lot of countries, and a lot of them would bring over kids that would lease horses in the United States, so they didn't have to, like, fly the horses over. But there was tons of. Of participants that were international. And so same thing for, like, the paint World and the NSBA world and stuff like that. Like, people come over. It's mostly that they, like, house their horses here and then. So there's not a whole lot of transporting horses over, but this is just smaller. It is open to the world. And the thing that I was trying to get across that just really wasn't resonating from the video I made the other day was that, like, our breed is the American quarter horse. It's not that. Oh, this is the American championship. No, the American quarter horse is the breed. And it's everywhere. Denver bred quarter horses, like, American quarter horses. The breed. Denver bred them in Germany. Germany in France, Australia in Australia, in Canada, in Austria. Like. Like, there's one coming in New Zealand next year. Like, he. He bred them all over the world. So it's just that our breed originated here. So that's why the World show is here. But it's from everywhere.

Yeah.

That's another thing I've been pushing for is international travel. International.

But like even still there were very nice horses there. There were very good riders there. But all that to say I am extremely proud of my, my Roan World championship.

I'm very proud of it and my. I love the trophies and Kennedy was great and Taft Dickerson showed her in the senior and so spoiler. Some people were like did you. Did you give him the trophy? And I was like no I didn't. You should have though because here's why. Here's why it. It's always dependent on. He didn't care. It's always dependent on like I think he did care. Your no he didn't. Your deal with the trainer because I was going to show her the senior and who's to say I wouldn't have won on her in the senior and I would have gotten that trophy and I. He was like you should let me show her. And I was like okay.

But what happened was is that he did show her. He did and he did win.

She was naughty and I don't know why my. The worst ride of the entire show was the Roan World show. I don't know. Cuz she's so smart and she's. She does take notice of when things are like different and so they had us trot down the center which normally I'm like heck yeah, that's so fun. Not on Kennedy. We will be practicing that. It felt very. We don't know where we're going. It felt very like well let's just go straight, Kennedy. Like, let's just.

Let's just go straight. And she can, she could take notice when things are different. Like even Stephanie said at the Kentucky show, they had them enter into the left instead of the right one day. And she was like, that's different.

And like, acted different. Like, yeah, she, she takes notice and she likes her routine. She's just a very, very quirky girl.

And so immediately, like, I trotted down the center. I was one of the first ones in. I have to go line up on the rail because that's just how the, were trying to make it like a big show. And that's what you do at the, at the world show and all that good stuff. Well, I, I, I stand there and I'm waiting. We have like 14 more horses to come in, so I have a minute before they're ready to go.

And we're having to just stand there and I'm like, just stand here. That's all you have to do. And she is like, like, just like going, I don't know what she's doing. She's sneezing.

That's her, her allergies were sneezing every five seconds.

We were talking about that and I don't know because we wiped her nose out afterwards. And she didn't do it for Taft. She didn't do it for Taft. So that was great. But it was a very quirky go. And there was a lot of traffic and there was a lot of different speeds going on. I also noticed that there was a lot of passing. There was a lot of. It was just, it was just different than, than a lot of the classes we've already been in.

You had like a herd of five behind you.

I will say there is something about, like, you're in a quiet pleasure class and you just hear the like behind you. It's a little daunting. But she held it together good enough. And she is fancy legged enough to the right, which someone posted to circus music. So that was great. But to the right. She did look a little bit marchy other than that.

With that logic, though, you can't go anywhere because it's like, you can't go. You can't get home. So it's like, oh, I could walk outside of my Airbnb at 10pm But I can't. I can't leave here. I can't get home.

So I guess it's more of like. It's not even that. It's like, hey, if. If it went down, we are getting hijacked by pirates or whatever. Like, I am screwed. And literally, as comical as that. Well, Cruise is probably 10th on the list.

I'm also at the point where I. If I go on a vacation and I time to be away and whatever, I want to not be with horses. Like.

I like, I'm like, I. I want like a. Like we're about to go to Vegas. Like, I want to not see a horse while I'm here. I get that. Like, I love them. I do. But I like. I went to shot show one year, but we. We went for a very short amount of time.

And we're going to Evan Rebecca and I'm like, I stayed in the Venetian the last time, and I think it's so pretty with, like, the gondolas, like, in the middle and everything. But I'm like, do we. Do we branch out? Do we go somewhere else?
