Send a textCody and Colby are joined in Studio 34 on the square in Canyon, Texas with the one and only, Scottie Davis. Scottie shares with us his life journey, weaving together stories of resilience, risk-taking, and relentless perseverance. From a young age, Scottie tested his limits, riding 100 miles on a BMX bike during the Wild West 150 and later abandoning football to pursue bull riding, where he trained under legendary cowboy, Eddie Blackshear. His rodeo career carried him to the finals before ending due to injury and a shift in perspective. Scottie transitioned into corporate life, later living in Hawaii where he discovered endurance sports, a passion that led him to ultramarathons such as the grueling Leadville 100. Scottie then was hit with the tough news he has cancer. He talks about the process, his mindset, and how he and his family have handled it. Throughout, he emphasizes faith, community support, disciplined health choices, and the power of persistence, using both triumphs and hardships to mentor youth and inspire others facing adversity. Scottie has an amazing testimony and it is not even finished.
