First order when you sign up for email. So Dave was here like last week and he was in a car going to some event and it was him, Austin and Pat, security guard Pat. And he sees just these freaks in New York and he gets disgusted in the car and he just goes, this city, man. These freaks everywhere. Who was it? Me and Tommy.
Kevin Clancy
It's another edition of KFC Radio on the Barstool Sports Network. We've got a new addition to the studio. If you're watching on the podcast, we'll put some pictures and some clips in right now. This is. This piece of furniture has been added to the room. This is. This is one of the more important pieces of KFC Radio folklore. By the way, there's a fly in this room. It's going to drive me.
Jackie
We can't leave till we kill it.
Kevin Clancy
I like that. I like that.
Jackie
Oh, actually, the fly. KFC radio.
Kevin Clancy
I actually have a really. Yeah, let's go. I have a funny fly story.
Jackie
Oh, I got this.
Kevin Clancy
Oh, yeah. Got him.
Jackie
I thought you were gonna be here. I thought we're gonna be here for four hours.
Kevin Clancy
That took 40 seconds. That was a big boy, too.
Jackie
That was a big boy. And he's right there.
Kevin Clancy
Got him. I was gonna say, do we have definitive proof?
Jackie
Yeah, grab him.
Kevin Clancy
Grab that. Get carcass. Yeah, that's a big old horse fly. Yeah, got him. Show it to the camera.
Jackie
Put.
Kevin Clancy
We gotta put it on the wall like a. Like a buckhead bing bong before we get back into what I was gonna open up with this funny, funny little detour. So while we're on the topic of flies. Oh, don't tell me. I deleted it. Did I delete it? No. Come on, where is it? Okay, bro. In the never ending adventures of my house being renovated, I got new windows, by the way. Windows. If you're listening out there, kids go into the window business. It cannot possibly be as hard to make window windows as. As the cost is, you know what I mean? Tens of thousands of dollars to get my fucking windows replaced. And everyone, like, people like my mom and like, people who, like, care about these things are like, oh, my God, these are beautiful. I'm like, they're just fucking windows.
Jackie
But they make sense that they're expensive, right? Because it keeps everything out of your house, I suppose.
Kevin Clancy
But it's like, you know, they're like the efficiency of your heating is going to go like. I don't know if you can show me, like, tangible, like, here's how much money I'm saving every month, and one day it adds up fine. But right now it just feels like I paid a fucking boatload of money to, like, there was windows there. Now there's windows still there. Anyway, one of the windows they replaced in the bat in the bathroom, and it was supposed to be, like, in conjunction with the rest of the renovation, however, everything's backed up, so they replaced this window, but they didn't, like, seal the outside because they thought that, like, we were going to be ripping the bed. We did not. So there's just, like, open holes exposed to the outdoors.
Jackie
That one should probably be cheaper.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, I would say maybe. Maybe I get a discount on that one.
Jackie
We got a window. Bunch of holes around it, though. It's beautiful.
Kevin Clancy
Anyway, this bug. Oh, it's alive. He came back to life.
Jackie
No way.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
Yeah. What a.
Kevin Clancy
Now I kind of want to let him live, bro. Lazarus. This. This. We're naming the fly Lazarus. You smushed him.
Jackie
Not only did I smack with my hat when I tried to pick him up twice, I squeezed him pretty good, and then I was trying to gingerly pick him up. Yeah, he's alive. As are.
Kevin Clancy
But are we. Is he suffering? No, he's doing.
Jackie
He's suffering. He's. He can't fly. That wing's broken.
Kevin Clancy
That's that.
Jackie
That's that. That. I feel like I'm not happy about what I just did, but, no, I am happy about it, that he wasn't flying ever again. That wing was all a skew. That's. He's toast. I did kill Him. I'm now like, I'm like, trying to be like I was, I did it out of, out of respect. And you're a murderer. It was me the whole time. The whole time. I was like, ah, the poor guy was suffering. What was he suffering from when I whacked him with a hat, bro?
Kevin Clancy
When you think about what it must be like to be a fly that gets swatted, what's the equivalent? It would be like a, it would be like getting hit with like a building, right? Like a building collapsing on us. Like a 911 tower collapsing on you.
Jackie
Imagine people came out of the tower, like, what the fuck was that? That's what that bug's like every morning. What the hell was that.
Kevin Clancy
Bro? So, so this hole in my bathroom, when I tell you it was the biggest bug I've ever seen in my life. Fluence, my house. I, I, I don't know what it is. To this day, it's either a giant hornet or a cicada killer. By my, by my investigation now. Let me give you just, just a quick picture for like, for cicada killer.
John F. Kennedy
Okay.
Kevin Clancy
It was minimum this.
Jackie
Holy smokes.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, it was probably bigger than that. This picture, I mean, it's, it's your entire hand. Yeah. So I heard it first because when that thing flaps, it's like a plane propeller. And, and I walk in there and I, I mean, it was like a dinosaur. It was like, you know when they, when you, like, you like, like bugs used to be huge back then.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
I was like, this is from the Jurassic. This thing is 65 million years old. And, and so, I mean, I'm like, I, I don't know what to do here. I end up trapping it in my medicine cabinet. Like, a door was open, it flew in and I just closed it. And then I left it there for a while. And I was like, all right, I gotta go in there and take care of this because we're gonna forget about it. I'm gonna open it up, my kids are gonna have like, this dinosaur coming. And so I put on, I had just gotten dry cleaning, so I had the plastic wrap that comes around your dry cleaning, and I put it over my head and then two extras and I put it around my arms as well. So I, I like, turned myself into like a beekeeper. And I'm like, I'm ready to go. I've got a ugg slipper. And I mean, it, it would maybe would defeat the UG slipper, you know what I mean? Like, I don't even know what it's going to take to kill this thing. I'm like, here we go. Open it up. Nothing. Open it up. Nothing. Open up the last one. Nothing. Now I'm like. I was like, now I. I was like, I got to move. Like, now.
John F. Kennedy
I don't know where it is.
Kevin Clancy
It's like when you see a spider on the ceiling and then you look away and it's gone. It's like, well, now where is it? You know, I. I never found.
Jackie
You haven't found it?
Kevin Clancy
I never found it.
Jackie
Oh, he's like, in a bottle of mouthwash.
Kevin Clancy
That's what I mean. Like, he's gonna be. He's gonna be in a shoe I'm gonna put my foot in. So I. I gotta, like, I. I opened up. So the days go by and I was like, all right, this thing's got to be, like, dead by now or whatever. So then I. I haven't fully, like, taken everything out of the medicine cabinet, but I did do a pretty good, like, look through, expecting to find, like, a dead one of these, but still nothing. So I gotta go home and, like, look through the whole medicine cabinet or move, because it's somewhere and it's probably breeding and laying eggs. I mean, it was the noise that it was making, man.
Jackie
I mean, that's crazy. I've seen the animals you see up there and that stuff, but that. That gives me pause.
Kevin Clancy
Oh, did I show you that?
Jackie
I didn't move to Australia, did I? Yeah, I thought, this is only supposed to be on the penal colony we keep.
Kevin Clancy
Did I show you the. The. The pelvis?
Jackie
No.
Kevin Clancy
See if I could find that picture. I showed you the snake not too long ago. I never talked about that. There was a. A decent sized, like, garter snake, and I had to chop its head off, and. Little known fact, harder to chop off snakeheads with a shovel than you think. I thought I was going to give it a good just. And that was it. No, sir.
Jackie
No. It's like eating steak with a spoon. Yeah, you got to kind of.
Kevin Clancy
So, like, this. This snake had been, I think, probably like, picked up or grabbed by, like, a bird with its beak or his talons because, like, the middle of it was, like, ripped open and there was, like, blood and it was kind of suffering. And so I. I had like a whatever, like a pointy shovel. And I just think nothing. And then eventually I had to, like, saw it off.
Jackie
Yeah, yeah. You kind of, like, on the plate, like.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. I mean, I was like, man, these are.
John F. Kennedy
This is.
Kevin Clancy
This is no joke. And then and then I like, the next day after that, I find a. Some sort of animal pelvis. Like a. A bone I think I deleted. It was like a bone dry bone that was like that clearly like the hips of some sort of animal. It's like, where the do I live, man? Get me back to, like, the hood. Take me back to Mount Vernon where my car got broken into every single night. But it was humans. I can deal with humans more, you know, before I can do any animal. Anyway, we got off track here. Rip to the bug. Congrats to the cicada killer who now owns my house. But we have a piece of KFC radio lore now in the studio. If you're watching on the video or if you check on social media, you can see the pictures of it. We now are the proud owners of the bench. That Feidalberg fellow sleep on in Vermont. Montpelier, Vermont, while you were traveling to.
Jackie
A concert, I believe it was. It was. It's so funny this weekend. Like, it worked out perfectly because Eric, who, who was kind of the police chief of police, who was kind enough to give me the bench, and his son J.T. who's graduating from St. S.E. hall today. Like, when I first told the story like four or five years ago, not first time, but when they first heard it, JT reached out and then. They're huge. We've met them at. They've come to KFC radio shows, They've come out of order.
Kevin Clancy
Shows are great, great people about, like.
Jackie
Yeah, we have Mount PE Police stuff around here. But they were coming this weekend, and Eric had reached out to me and was like, would you like the bench? And I was kind of like, I don't know. I can't. Obviously I can't put in my apartment. And then I asked you, and you're.
Kevin Clancy
Like, we got to have it in the studio. Have the bench.
Jackie
I was like, all right, fine, we'll do it in the studio. And you.
Kevin Clancy
You were like, you were on like a 24 hour journey, weren't you?
Jackie
Day three day journey. I was on my own odyssey. And it's in Homer over here. I was talking to. My parents were here this weekend again, too. We went to see good night and good luck on Saturday.
Kevin Clancy
Oh, it's awesome. Really good.
Jackie
Yeah, Cluty's the best.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
But the. So they were here and I was telling. I was telling them we were planning Sunday. And I was like, yeah, I can get brunch, but, like, I have to be on call Sunday because Eric is coming with this bench. And I Have to be able to go. And I was like, actually, funny story. I don't know if I ever told you guys this story. And my mom was like, I know the story, John. And because she had I. Which I forget. I forgot she had told me. So what I did, I was at St. Michael's College my freshman year, and there was a Thursday night football game at Boston College. It was bc, Virginia Tech, early, early in the school year. And my buddy goes to bc and I grew up a big BC fan. So I was like, I want to go to that game. And so I told my mom, I'm coming home, I'm going to go to the BC game. And she said, do not talk to me until you're back on campus. It's crazy. You're already doing something like this. And I said, okay, fine. And after the game Thursday night, we got drunk and we realized that OAR was playing in Toronto, Canada. And I being someone who was in Burlington, Vermont was like, dude, I live right by Canada. Why don't.
John F. Kennedy
Like.
Jackie
I was like, you can come, we'll go and then you just come crash at my place after and you can come home. And he's like, this is the best idea ever. And so we put in the GPS Toronto and we realized it takes us through my buddies. My buddy went to Hobart, William and Smith. We realized it goes through Hobart and we're like, fucking pick up Graham on the way. Dude, this is gonna be the best trip ever. Get into Canada and realize it's nowhere near fucking Burlington, Vermont. Like, Like I was like seven hours from Burlington. I was like, son of a bitch. And so we party that night. We go to this OAR show at like the Ice Horse or something like that in Toronto. We go to Brass Rail Strip Club in Toronto, have a blast and come home. I get to. And then I was like. So I had done enough research or Googling since I found out where we actually were, that Hobart is in Ithaca, New York and Burlington is right here. And they're like, they're perfectly parallel. It's like a two hour ride. So I was like, oh, I'll just take the bus when we get back into the States. And then we get to Hobart, we drop my buddy off. I was like, I'll grab a bus ticket. Bus ticket from Hobart or from Ithaca to Burlington goes down to Newport, Rhode island first. So it's like a two day bus trip. And I had an exam on Monday. I was like, well, I can't fucking take that one. So I go back to Boston with My buddy go to South Station. He's like, I'll get you a train ticket. I'll get you a bus ticket. I get on the bus. I tell the woman I'm sitting next to. I was like, don't let me sleep past Burlington.
Kevin Clancy
This is sleeping days, too.
Jackie
I have. I have an exam Monday morning. I have to be there, yada, yada, yada. This woman sitting next to me is like, I got you. I will wake you up. I promise. I was like, word. I fall asleep immediately. She wakes me up and is like. She's like, I'm so sorry. I forgot to tell you. We're here. This is your stop. So I jump up and I sprint off the bus. I watch the bus take a right, and I. Then I look around. I go, not Burlington. I was in Montpelier, Vermont. I went to the one open hotel on the street, which they told us the name of it last night. But I forget. And the guy. I was like. I told the guy my whole sob story. I was like, I've been on the road for three days. I don't have any money. I lost my wallet. I. I lost my phone. My phone was dead, whatever it was. And I said, can you. Is there anything you can do to help me? And he said, you can get the out of here. And I was like, God, right? That's mean, dude. It was. It was probably October in Vermont. I was definitely in a T shirt. I had a backpack.
Kevin Clancy
A white man. Come on, hook it up. That's. This is white privilege, man.
Jackie
Just privilege I've been hearing about. Yeah, but. So I leave. And the kicker of the story is that a St. Michael's student had just been murdered in Mount Pilier. Now, if I'm being perfectly honest, it wasn't consuming a ton of my brain. I wasn't, like, horrified, like, I'm gonna get murdered out here. But it was a little piece being like, hey, there's people who are murdering people who look just like you. And. And so I'm like kind of just walk around the street being like, I don't know what the I'm gonna do. I see a payphone in an alleyway. So I call my bro, my buddy, who had just dropped me or just bought me a bus ticket in Boston. And I was like, yo, you got to call this hotel that's open, and you gotta get me a room. And I'm gonna go back. I'll sleep for a few hours. I'll get back to campus. And he's like, done deal. Done deal. And as that was happening, a car pulled up and just put on its high beams and never turned the car off. And I was like whispering that to him. I'm like, dude, this is. I'm telling about the murder thing. I'm like, this is car and it's just got tie beams on, just on me. And no one's moving. And I'm thinking he's gonna be like, dude, you're an idiot. Don't worry about it. And Prez comes back with put the phone down and run. So I just like throw the phone and take off going. And. And I, I didn't. I was running aimlessly. I didn't know where I was going. But I stumbled upon the police station and I went to open the door and just like, ask them for help where the door was locked. And I was like, son of a fucking bitch, the police station's closed. And that bench was sitting right out front. And I was like, look, they're not going to murder me in front of a police station. So I'll just.
Kevin Clancy
Not a bad.
Jackie
It's a sound logic.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
And I was like, I'll just sleep on this bench. One of the cops coming to work in the morning, wake me up, yada, yada, yada, fall asleep on the bench. Cop wakes up a few hours later, I tell him my stob story and he's like, call me, I'll buy you a bus ticket. And he buys me a bus ticket from Burling, from Mount Peely to Burlington. I actually do. I forget what I got in the exam, but it's like the only exam I ever did well on. It was philosophy. I know that. And I. I don't even know what it was about, but I know I did fine. Because philosophy, you can just bullshit your way.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
And so anyway, all that happened. I told that story however many years ago, they found out about it. Eric's the one who gave us the ride. Gave me the ride. So Eric, now we took a picture on the bench yesterday. And it kind of is one of those crazy things of like that if we had a picture of the first day when Eric is probably like a beat cop and I'm a wayward college kid. Yeah, he found me on a bench. And now we're on the bench. He's the chief police and I don't know, things are doing all right. Things are going. Yeah. I was like, this is cool moment, dude.
Kevin Clancy
I love it. By the way. It is a bench, bro. Like cast iron, like heavy duty slabs of wood. It is like the real deal.
Jackie
And he said. He said he talked to the city planner in Mount Pilier and said that he was going to give it to Barstool. And he said, he's like, they'll. They'll say, you know, come visit Mount Peliar. And I actually told the Nordensens yesterday that I think this is my only time in Mount Pele, Vermont, so I owe it another trip. I gotta go back. Yeah, yeah. I've been to Vermont 10 million times, but Mount Pillar itself, I don't think I've ever been again.
Kevin Clancy
We gotta get like a plaque for it.
Jackie
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Probably maybe dedicated to that dude who got murdered. I don't know.
Jackie
That was a woman. It was a woman, naturally. Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
I love it, though, because this. This was like proof of your body of work. This. This was like. There was a period of time early on KFC radio. I. I guess. I don't know. Now, like, now. So many podcasts are out there, so many storytellers are out there. We've heard every ridiculous story under the sun, and I don't think people question anything anymore. But back in the day, it was like, every story we told on the podcast, it's fake.
Jackie
Everything was.
Kevin Clancy
This is made up.
Jackie
I think that's a lie. I actually stopped looking at. It wasn't like a direct correlation.
Kevin Clancy
Why you stopped what, like, ever.
Jackie
I got rid of comments in my, like, in my life.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. Because it was just like.
Jackie
It bothered me so much.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
I'm not fucking lying.
John F. Kennedy
It's a story.
Jackie
Crazy things happen sometimes.
Kevin Clancy
Especially. It was always like, college days, like, out drinking. Like, that's some crazy shit.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
So this was like. It was like the movie Big Fish. Like in the end when all the. All the people from the stories show up in the.
Jackie
And.
Kevin Clancy
And the sun's like, oh, shit.
Jackie
It was all true, dude.
Kevin Clancy
This one in particular, this cop found us, was like, it's me. I know he's talking about. I'm the one who found him. I saw the bench. This is all real. And it was like vindication. He came to our live show, right.
Jackie
He had said that. Well, he is in. I said yesterday that the only part of the story that I ever questioned in my head where I was like, it couldn't have been closed. Like a police station closed. And he was like, you should have rung the bell. He's like, we do lock up at night, but we are there.
Kevin Clancy
It's not closed, it's just locked. It's just locked.
Jackie
Yeah. I probably wasn't in the state to.
Kevin Clancy
Look for you're running for your life.
Jackie
But that was the part I always questioned. I was like. I mean, locking. That would be nuts if this is well done.
Kevin Clancy
That's also the other part about, like, a lot of those stories is like, Yeah. I don't know the details.
Jackie
Like, yeah, I said it was locked.
Kevin Clancy
I thought it was closed. It wasn't like. And people would be like, the police station's. Don't lock. That's a fake story. It's like, all right, that one part of the story I got.
Jackie
I don't know. But I didn't get it wrong. Well, right. It was right. It was locked.
Kevin Clancy
But I'm saying, in general, it's like, you know, I know someone who said that it was on a Tuesday, not a Wednesday.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah, okay.
Kevin Clancy
I don't know, man. Sorry. I got one part. You know, it was weird when that.
Jackie
Happened because it was like, it. Everything was like, I don't know, man. We're telling stories there. I don't. They're. They're. First of all, they're real. I've never made up a story ever. But the, like, also, like, you're telling a story. So. Yes. I don't know. I'm not. I'm not doing the debating of, like, I don't know. The door couldn't have been locked, right? Telling a story and it was locked. God damn it.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, it was like, every angle, every detail was vindicated, like, told you so. And then you gotta. Then, you know, everybody was claiming all this is fake. You got to run through and be like, well, it's like when these conspiracy theories come true, it's like, well, that one MK Ultra was real. I always get.
Jackie
I was like, look, I. I completely admit a lot of my stories are crazy. I put myself in a lot of crazy positions. Probably shouldn't have, but the fact of the matter is they're real and they happen.
Kevin Clancy
Lucy is the obvious choice for true nicotine pouch connoisseurs. I would say you are maybe the number one nicotine pouch connoisseur, maybe on the planet Earth.
Jackie
I would say, you know, I was kind of late to the game. I. I'm up. I'm up there. But I was.
Kevin Clancy
I was talking about. You were like, 12.
Jackie
Well, that's a different. Oh, are you talking about when I invented nicotine pouches? Talking about. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, yeah, I'm probably a connoisseur. Lucy's better than me. I'll give them that. I'll give that.
John F. Kennedy
They.
Jackie
They do better than what, 14 year old Fidalberg did with teabags.
Kevin Clancy
But I mean, yeah, you should have, you could have. If you put your name on that, you'd be retired right now, bro. Lucy is the official nicotine pouch partner of Barstool Sports. The Lucy pouches go up to 12 milligrams in strength. They got a unique shape that feels great. What is that shape?
Jackie
The shape, I don't know.
Kevin Clancy
I'll call, I'll call it like banana. Almost like it curves your.
Jackie
I was gonna say pillow. It's kind of like a longer pillow. You know, like the, the hotel pillow they put in front of the pillows.
Kevin Clancy
Got it.
Jackie
Yeah. All right. It's actually I, I, I. One of my favorite things of Lucy, despite, aside from the mango flavor, is the shape. I know, honestly, until right now, I did not know that was something that was like a thing to them. But I do really like, like the, the. Yeah, it's kind of pillowish. Like it's unbelievable.
Kevin Clancy
Well, they got the pouch that fits like a pillow and then they got the breakers, which is the only pouch that has a hydration capsule in size inside. So it's a new kind of pouch that's only available from Lucy. All you do is you gotta break this little. The little center of each capsule cracks open with your teeth before you toss it in your lip so that it's all, you know, mixed up in there. The capsule releases a burst of flavor and helps release the nicotine faster. So it's an experience that you get with Lucy that you cannot get with any other pouch. Gas station pouches get the job done, but once you try Lucy, you won't want anything else in your pocket or in your mouth. So get Lucy shipped straight to your door right now. Visit Lucy Co KFC. Use promo code KFC to get 20 off on your first order and subscribe to for another 15% off. Plus shipping is always free. So I don't know, you get like a 30 something percent off discount plus free shipping when you go to Lucy Co kfc. Lucy products are for adults of legal age and every order is age verified. Warning. This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical. And that's also. It's like again, when we were early on, it was like there wasn't that many stories out there on podcasts like that yet. Now it's like you know everything, right? You've heard every urban legend, all the real stories, all the fake stories. You heard everything.
Jackie
Why did they do that?
Kevin Clancy
What?
Jackie
Just why did they not believe anything?
Kevin Clancy
Well, they just hater like, those. Those people just don't want it to be. You know what I mean? They want.
Jackie
No, no. Everything I ever said, it was like, that's fake. It's not, dude. Like, why would you do that? Really bothered me. Really bothered me.
Kevin Clancy
And there was always. There was never, like, one story. Like, if there was a big one that was proven false, it'd be like. And then it's the opposite. It's like, well, now you got to question everything.
Jackie
Yeah. Never.
Kevin Clancy
No one ever came forward and was.
Jackie
Like, this one was by far the most unbelievable. And this is the one that has the concrete evidence, like, it happened proved.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. So we have this monstrosity of a outdoor bench inside now that we'll have to, like, you know, keep here forever in. In honor of. Of what it meant to the podcast. What do we got? You got a few things, but the. That Mexican boat crash into the bridge is. Well, there's dead people. Yeah. Yeah. The people who are up on the masts, I believe, died.
Jackie
I was thinking about those guys yesterday, and, like, Pops and I were talking about a little bit. How. How close would you have to be before you said something? Like, I was thinking, like, I'd be on top of Mass. I'd be like, they're going to turn.
Kevin Clancy
They're going to.
Jackie
I mean, he's got to see. You know what I mean? Like, right there. I don't want to be the one who's like, hey, hey. You see the most famous bridge in the world, right?
Kevin Clancy
We're at 147 meters. That looks like it's 145. I think we're. No, but as. As I understood it, at least my dad, you know, is into naval stuff, and his friends are even more so. And they were saying that, like, they were. It was like a boat in distress. Like, they were. Like, the tide had taken them. The story, I think, was something like their engine was off so they couldn't, like, flip it on. And so it was. I think it was something like they knew it was coming and they just couldn't stop it. To us, it looks like it was like, you idiots, you just drove it to a bridge.
Jackie
Right, Right.
Kevin Clancy
But, you know, they were like. They had just gotten out of. You know, off out of the port, and, like, it was. They were supposed to be going north, and it started to turn south or whatever it was. So they. But that of everyone standing up on the mast is like, again, I don't think they're gonna be doing that anymore. That tradition sounds like it's out the.
Jackie
Window, I guess how gangster it would be if it was, if it parked beautifully. You're like, dude, those guys are standing so high. Well, that's it.
Kevin Clancy
I bet you, I mean, I bet you that was, it was. So if you're not familiar, it was like a Mexican naval training vessel. Yeah. So I'm sure all those kids are like, they want to be the guy on the mass. You know what I mean? Like, that's got to be like the thing that you do. I mean the picture like prior to the crash of when they're all on it.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
This is sick. But you know, it's not awesome when you crash into the Brooklyn Bridge. I mean those, the, the guys who were like still up there were like dangling and like flying around after it hit, like, Jesus Christ. But I almost, I think about the people on the bridge too. Imagine you're just like driving over.
Jackie
See, I was thinking about that. I don't think you really see it. I've driven over the Brooklyn Bridge a couple times recently and I, I don't think I, I, I don't think you'd.
Kevin Clancy
See it, but I bet you it's pretty loud.
Jackie
Yeah, I guess that makes sense.
Kevin Clancy
It's one of those things where I see what you're, if you're going like slow but like in terms of the amount of force and you're crashing into it, it's probably like a. Yeah.
Jackie
And if you're on a bridge and just you probably, it's probably worse not seeing the boat. Yeah. Cuz you're just start hearing the cracking and you're what the is happening on this bridge?
Kevin Clancy
For real. But I mean, just like it's also, it is the perfect storm for like tragedy in the sense of everybody was filming it because it's like this big beautiful boat. It's right by the bridge and like there's a picture of a girl, like, arms out on the, on the, like underneath the bridge, you know, like posing basically. Like, give me, get the, get the.
Jackie
Boat behind me from that like dumbo like Water street spot.
Kevin Clancy
Yes. And then it, it crashes and like, and also in the video, people are laughing, they're like, oh, oh my God. You don't realize there's gonna be, you know, dead people and critically injured people. So it went from like this instagrammable moment to like, you know, tragedy. Yeah. And people.
Jackie
Yeah. I think about that either. That's a great point.
Kevin Clancy
And it's again, it's something that, like if you, if you see a car accident, an average person knows oh, you know what I mean?
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Something like this, you're like, oh, I don't know, the masks are broken. You don't think that there's people up there. You don't know what you, you know what the extent of it all is.
Jackie
You know, like, surely there's probably 20 Mexicans standing up there.
Kevin Clancy
I think I've seen this before. They put all the Mexicans up top.
Jackie
Yeah, it's all, it's, yeah, it's, it's. You're right. With like the, it is the perfect storm of everything, of being like, oh, headline, headline again. It's beautiful. Yeah, it's beautiful.
Kevin Clancy
It's going under a beautiful bridge, beautiful skyline.
Jackie
Yeah, it's a beautifuls situation until it turns chaotic.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, awesome. As P would say.
Jackie
I forgot to say the, the one more thing about yesterday. The. So when Eric and J.T. and Jen were coming, I was at brunch with my parents. And I was, I, I, I had forgotten this detail of the story because I was like, do you guys remember the story? And my mom was like, yeah, I remember. You were gone for four days. And I, when, when I called her to tell her I was going to the Virginia Tech game, I was like, she was pissed. She was mad. She said like, I can't believe you're doing this kind of bullshit. Like, do not call me until you're back on campus. I don't want to talk to you until you're back on campus. And I was like, okay, we're talking four days.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Jackie
And that's why Thursday night, I was like, look, I'm not going to talk to my mom till I'm back on campus. We're good. Let's go to another country.
Kevin Clancy
The logic of that is so unbelievable. And what I meant was, call me back in six hours when you're back on campus. You.
Jackie
My mom was saying, like, all her friends on day three were like, have you talked to John Henry yet? And she's like, no, I told him to call when he's campus. He'll call me then.
Kevin Clancy
She's so gangster. You're, you're a stray cat. Just, like, leave the door open.
Jackie
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Kevin Clancy
He'll make his way back. He always does. That's so good.
Jackie
Four days. I want you, the stray cat. Because again, further conversation we were having is like, I was talking about how we, we did the math. We were at, like, brunch at their hotel, and we were doing the math of, like, where I lived from ages like 15 to 28. And I was like, I never thought of myself as, like a wandering man.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
I was like, I've moved every six months for 15 years. That's crazy.
Kevin Clancy
Especially if you count, like, the college years. It's like, like you're in and out of this dorm twice a year, bro.
Jackie
No, you can start when I'm 15. Like boarding school.
Kevin Clancy
Right.
Jackie
You go even four years early for a summer. I went to Florida for a bit, then Vermont for a bit, then the Blackout tour for two years. I was like, I, like. And then we did New York. I'm sorry. Then New York for a bit, then Boston for a bit, then Blackout tour, then New York again, then like, I was like. And I was doing Newport every summer still.
Kevin Clancy
So I was like, I was.
Jackie
I didn't settle down for like, literally six months until I was 28.
Kevin Clancy
That is crazy. I mean, I remember thinking of about like, I. It's like, all right, I lived in Manhattan, but I was on Murray Hill and then the Upper east side and then the west side and then Hoboken, and it's like incomprehensible amount of moving.
Jackie
Yeah. Like, this is my first apartment where I've ever been. Like, okay, I'm gonna. It's not like, all right, I'll figure it out in a year, right?
Kevin Clancy
That. Yeah, it used to be. Because especially if you're like, my lease is up in a year, it's like, you got to start worrying about that. Six months. Yeah, it's like this neverending, you know, cycle. Like girls getting their periods. You ever realize that girls are just on their period always?
Jackie
Always.
Kevin Clancy
Because it's either they have it or it's the P of the PMS or it's like, this is lasting longer than usual. There's like a three day window where they don't have.
Jackie
It's like, yeah, dude, like, be a chicks. It's like literally three out of five weeks a month. You're like, I feel like, nightmare.
Kevin Clancy
It's. It is crazy. Then they get pregnant and it's a whole nightmare being a girl. I would just kill myself. Straight up. What else we got? The. I'm fascinated by what's going on with his Diddy case. The amount of, like, support that he's getting.
Jackie
Okay. It's kind of crazy. I saw guys in T shirts that said Free Diddy, but I guess they were getting paid 20 bucks an hour.
Kevin Clancy
I'm sure. But it's not that they're. It's just more like there's a lot like, this is the case where everyone's decided to be like, we gotta be impartial here. Like, she might. Cassie might have been, like, a willing participant. And like, all this.
Jackie
That.
Kevin Clancy
It's like, I'm sure. Yeah, listen, like, they. He was a monster. He abused her, I'm sure, at. For at least a decent chunk of that relationship. She was willingly there and did love him and did love the lifestyle and all those things. I get all that. But, like, when you've seen what's happened to her, I just don't think this is the case to be picking that apart. You know what I mean? Even I saw people, like, they released the full video.
Jackie
She's not on trial, so who cares? That's the.
Kevin Clancy
That's my point is, like, it doesn't matter. She is not under any sort. There's no charges. We're not trying to prove anything with her. Yeah, I mean, I, you know, I understand why by association, there's certain things that you can prove or disprove about him through her. So I get it. But, like, not really.
Jackie
But what is. But, like, proving that. Are they saying they want to try her next? Which I don't know if that's the case.
Kevin Clancy
No, no.
Jackie
But being like, just like, you're right, fine. He did bad. Were doing it too. Like, well, we're fig. Figuring out him.
Kevin Clancy
So it's like, I'm not on trial here, and, yeah, if I am, then we'll have to figure that out. But a lot of it is, like, there was a. There was a time where, like, she. They were broken up, and, like, she was with somebody else, I think. I think somebody in, like, the entourage. It was like, let's say the. The masseuse that worked for Diddy or something. Something like that. A chef, masseuse. Somebody was doing service. Like, she was like, they broke up, and he. She was with him for a little while, and, like. And it was okay, I guess. And people were kind of like, well, how. How could she have been, like, kidnapped or trafficked if, like, she was in another relationship and Diddy knew about it and nothing was happening? It's like, I don't know, man. Just because they're like. Like, we're throwing out all of this evidence that we've, like, seen happening to her because at one point, she was with Kid Cudi. It's like, yeah, I don't know. But then Kid Cudi got his car blown.
Jackie
Are you saying all this is happening at court or.
Kevin Clancy
No, no, no. This is like the Internet, the public opinion, you know, And. And I. I just. It. It's just there, there were people looking at the full 15 minute video of her in the elevators. And they're like, if you really were, if you really needed to get away, you would, you wouldn't wait for the elevator. You'd run down the stairs. I'm like, first of all, first of all, stairs, no.
Jackie
You ever try to find a stairwell in a hotel? You could be, you could be backed into a corner quick. Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And also, what if it's the 50th floor for all we know did he's on the penthouse or. I don't know. Just because you're waiting for the elevator does not mean that you're not getting abused. Like these weird little details that, that people are fixating on. And I mean I, you know, I'd have to imagine this is based out of like they're fans of his and they love his music and they just don't want it to be true or whatever. But it's like, I don't know, they're, you know, everyone all of a sudden is a lawyer and very specific and very like, well, this is not proving this, that and the other. And it's like, I don't know, if this was somebody you didn't like, you would just be like, this guy, he's horrible to her. Throw him out, you know? And instead it's very, it's like, yeah, there's text messages of Cassie being like this freak off stuff. They, I can't believe they actually call it freak off. Like in conversation he's like, do you want to freak off? She's like, I love a freak off crazy. I'm sure they were. She's, you know, kinky and they, they like animals and all that. That doesn't mean you're not getting abused and beaten and you know what I mean? Like I just, the, the amount of, of excuses being made and, and on his part and the amount of like that they're tearing her apart for is just crazy to me. Like the one case where I, I thought the world was gonna kind of unite on this one, this guy. I don't know, there's a couple details.
Jackie
But it's not like what do people just going off on like quotes they see because it's not.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
Streamed, right?
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. Yeah. There's like, yeah, I don't, I don't understand how that works because there are like quotes from Cassie. There's screenshots of text messages that I assume are evidence that I, I don't know if that, that public record or whatever. But like, you Know, it's also just people don't comprehend an average person, regular person can't understand what goes on in an abusive relationship or like a kidnapping situation, whatever. Like there's those stories of like Elizabeth Smart was like in like in public like next to a police officer. It doesn't say anything.
Jackie
Right.
Kevin Clancy
Cuz you're warped in the head. And like an average person just goes well I don't know, something must be.
Jackie
Going on in that situation. I just, it's like well you're not in it.
Kevin Clancy
Right. That's a different thing. That is the thing you want to.
Jackie
Know how you'd react because if you were in it you wouldn't be the person you are, you'd be a different person.
Kevin Clancy
Thousand and it's like, I mean I don't know the timelines here but it's like he, he told Kid Cudi he was going to blow up his car and he did.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
So after something like that happens, you probably don't fuck around.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And even the fact that like again I don't know what went which happened first or second but the fact that he did do that, Cassie was probably intimately aware that he's the type of guy who can do that. Yeah. Yeah. So when you're like okay, now's my chance to get away or whatever but.
Jackie
If I ultimate like you come at the king, you best not miss. Yeah, I better have a clear shot at his head.
Kevin Clancy
And that's for regular ass people getting out of abusive. It takes so many times for abusive people abuse people to get out of a relationship.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Where it's like you have to have your, how you're leaving, where you're going, who. You know what I mean? And before all that's lined up like you don't around because it's always the.
Jackie
Most detailed plans you'll ever make ever.
Kevin Clancy
Cuz I think there's all sorts of stats of like it's like most often women that are killed. It's like when they were trying to leave because you know what I mean? So like and that's a regular, you know, dude who, who is a problem for some of these women. Let alone like one of the richest, most powerful people in New York City.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Who like could snap his fingers and have you killed. You know. So I'm pretty sure she was probably keenly aware of all these things and then even like the text messages of her. I guess there was one time where she was like I want to have a freak off and Diddy was like, you are. I Think auditioning for a role or filming an album or something. And she. He was like, no, no, you need to like focus, you know? And they're like, how could. How could that. You know, how could he be the monster if he was the one saying no? And it's like, I'm sure every now and then there was a case where Cassie wanted to have sex and Diddy didn't. That does not mean he's not abusing this girl.
Jackie
Sometimes predators ain't horny.
Kevin Clancy
Even the freak off maniacs every now and then just want to roll over and go to sleep, bro. Come on.
Jackie
Sometimes a T. Rex one hungry.
Kevin Clancy
But I can't even imagine her, like. And then of course there's like, she got. She got a bunch of money. You know what I mean?
Jackie
She got.
Kevin Clancy
She got the settlement from this, she got the settlement from that. So, like, oh, she got paid. It's like, I'm pretty sure if you ask Cassie, like, would you rather like have your life back or have this money? You know, maybe I'm wrong. I don't know, maybe she didn't want the money. But again, that's all like, that's. The settlement's there for a reason.
Jackie
I also don't like talking about money with someone who's just rich. But Cassie doesn't need. Cassie's rich. Sure, she got Diddy's money when they were. But Cassie's a rich person, right? You have more money. But she wasn't like, I'm gonna swindle this guy. Look again, maybe she could have been. I don't know. But. Well, Cassie had enough money to live on her own.
Kevin Clancy
These are the things that people are. Are talking about. It's like she, you know, she. She's with him for all that stuff. And like, this is what comes along. It's like nuts. Nuts, guys. It's just, you know, there. I. There are instances, I'm sure, where there are people who are complicit in relationships or. But I don't know, it's just like once you cross the line that he did where he became like a literal monster. And it's not just her, by the way. It's like, okay, fine, let's say the Cassie thing. Like, she was complicit. Let's go to the producer and the this and the that and like all the other people that he's. But yes, it's. It is wild sometimes to just see who gets the benefit of the doubt and who becomes vilified. Like there are people who have done far, far Far, far less who are, you know, have the scarlet letter and our career's over or whatever.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And then this dude is like, we have him on camera, like, maliciously beating this girl's face. And people are like, she did send those text messages, though, that she wanted everyone reasonable.
Jackie
No one reasonable is like that.
Kevin Clancy
I know, but it's. It's just like, I just think about from her point of view, like, and her. Her new husband. I mean, I'm sure that's a lot for them to go through in general. It's like, imagine just being on trial and it's like, hey, babe, there's going to be a lot of documentation about, like, me having baby oil gang bangs.
Jackie
Yeah. Like, it's gonna.
Kevin Clancy
You're gonna see a lot. You know, that alone is a lot to go through, let alone reliving the abuse. And then to have, like, albeit idiots and people who aren't reasonable, like you said. But, like, the fact that that's kind of a movement at all on the Internet, it's got to be infuriated.
Jackie
Yeah, I'm sure it is, but, like. Yeah, no, I'm sure it is. I'm sure it is.
Kevin Clancy
Imagine like, when you finally, you know, after years and years, you, like, build up the courage or that the whole thing with this was that deadline came up with, like, the statute, they changed it so she had to file a lawsuit. And you're like, all right, I did it finally. And everyone's like, you're. You're like, guilty or whatever. It's like you. You really one of those, like, lost faith in humanity moments. But I also, you know, none of this really matters. It's like the criminal court. And all that is actually, is, this is criminal. This is civil. I don't even know what this is.
Jackie
Federal. I think it's federal, but.
Kevin Clancy
But, oh, but it's not the abuse. It's all. And that's the other thing is people are, like, going through with a fine to everyone now is a expert in racketeering and. Yeah, but. And prostitution over state lines and all these things. It's like, you don't know a thing about this.
Jackie
But that's like. That's what Twitter is. Like. We learned that during the pandemic. Like, everyone's gonna get and be an expert about that. And, like, you're gonna be an expert and it's not gonna be fun. And that's what it is.
Kevin Clancy
I. I'm surprised by the way that, like, assault has the pretty quick statute. It's like a couple years like, they have that video of him beating her, but it's, like, not. Not abusible. Like, it's like, I understand some things, like thefts or whatever. It's like, yeah, I don't know. You didn't catch me for 10 years. That's over. Whatever. But it's, like, violent. Like a violent abuse.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Like, ah, it was 24 months, so you're good.
Jackie
It's just crazy to me. Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Just common sense that. That shouldn't really be. But. But, I mean, it'll be. It'll be nuts if he gets off. He can't. Right?
Jackie
I. I mean, I'd be shocked.
Kevin Clancy
That would be truly. Like, there's no. There's no, like, karma in this world. There's no, like, justice.
Jackie
But you can't say there's no justice if we haven't read it either. Like, if we haven't gone through all the evidence.
Kevin Clancy
Maybe.
Jackie
Maybe they. Maybe we're all wrong, I guess. Like, maybe we're all wrong.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm just hoping that, like, they have. Again, public opinion doesn't really mean much. For all we know, inside the walls, like, the jury and everyone's like, oh, yeah, yeah. Like, but if it's.
Jackie
Maybe if we're in the courtroom, they're like, yeah, this is clearly. Cassie was the ringleader here.
Kevin Clancy
Also, I'm. I'm a big fan of, like, if I was on that jury and I knew everything that happened, and they're like, so. You know, they didn't really technically prove that it was, like, prostitution across state lines. Like, I don't care.
Jackie
Guilty.
Kevin Clancy
You know what I mean? Little vigilante justices. I think you know what the doctor ordered in this case. Crazy man. Reef is the brand that made flip flops cool and kept them cool for 40 years. Born from surfing, Reef has grown into a huge lineup of ridiculously comfortable sandals and shoes, too. They've elevated their entire game. I actually got a new pair of the Neptune sneakers, I guess you'll call it. It's more of, like, a shoe than it is a flip flop, but it's, like, a leather upper, rubber sole, super lightweight. Pretty stylish. Like, I like it. Yeah, they're. They're like, I'm not a huge. I do like reef. Reefs are, like my sandal of choice. But in general, like, the thong flip flop is not my jam. You know, I like something that has, like. I don't know, I do this thing when I wear flip flops where I, like. I think I, like, pinch my toes.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
But my Calves hurt. What's going on? You were wearing flip flops all day. So I like a shoe, but I don't want to wear, like, sneakers in the summer. This is the perfect thing, I think it's called the Neptune. They have it available in, like, leather as well as, like, mesh. And I think all these different. Other different types of materials. So I recommend the Neptune. They also have the sandals, the rubber ones, the leather ones. The iconic fanning sandal is like the one that has the bottle opener on the bottom that everybody knows. And they've got all sorts of different footwear for the summer. So they have the full lineup of stylish, super technical sandals and shoes like the cruiser slide, the Phantom 2.0 slide, and the Swell Soul Neptune shoe. That's the one I'm talking about. Swell Soul Neptune. Get 15 off your first order over 49 bucks when you go to reef.com KFCradio and then use promo code KFCradio15. What do you got? How was your weekend?
Jackie
Weekend was good. Saw. Saw Clooney. Good night. Good luck. That was awesome. Yeah, it was really good. And I've seen the movie. I actually hadn't seen the movie until last week because I wanted to see it just to, like, have an idea. I didn't know what the movie was about.
Kevin Clancy
I don't know anything about you.
Jackie
It's the Edward R. Murrow who was.
Kevin Clancy
Like, that's like the. There's an award, the Edward Murrow Award.
Jackie
Probably Radio journalist of the year. Yeah. Yeah. He was a radio guy, but then became tv. And he was the first journalist to speak out against McCarthy and, like, McCarthyism. They were rounding up people. They had. It was a lieutenant in the Air Force, got fired because his dad read, like, the Daily Worker or something like that. And they were like, well, all right, this is getting out of hand. Like, no one's even seen the evidence. No one knows, like, what the going on. And basically it was him versus McCarthy until the Senate voted to censure McCarthy.
Kevin Clancy
This looks like so Clooney, dude. He's sitting in this, like, solo shot in a chair, smoking a cigar or Whatever.
Jackie
Like, it's actually. It's gonna be on CNN on June 7th. They're gonna air the penultimate performance live, so that wants to watch it. It'll be on CNN June 7th. But it's cool, too, because in the movie, he plays. He's younger. The movie's like 25 years ago. So in the movie, he plays the. What are you? Producer. He plays the producer Fred Friendly, but in the show, he plays Ed Morrow.
Kevin Clancy
Oh, so he. So he did the movie, but a different role.
Jackie
Different role, yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Interesting. I feel like when these guys get in there in their stage acting bag is. Is when they're.
Jackie
Oh, that was a really cool thing, too, in the playbill. So, like, if you, you know, playbills have, like, all the actors, and it's a big. It's a big production. Good night, good luck. And they have all the resumes of every actor, and they must have let Clooney write his own, because every. Everyone's resumes, it's. They're not. They look like obits. They're like really small little blocks in that same newspaper style. And so it's just like all the productions, they've done, their recent work, all this stuff, like, they're. Whatever. They're. They're mini Wikipedia. And Clooney's just said. George Clooney has not been in a stage performance since the Equity or. No, he has not been in an Equity Theater since 1986 in Louisville, Kentucky. So buckle up.
Kevin Clancy
I mean, it's a different animal, right? I saw. Did you see that clip of Denzel not too long ago, or at least I saw it. I don't know. When he. When it aired, they. They said. The interviewer said something like, you're the only, like, Holly Hollywood blockbuster actor to blah, blah, blah. And he was like, what? And he was like, you're the only Hollywood actor. And he's like, what does Hollywood mean? What does that mean? He's actually kind of being a stickler. And he. But he was like, I'm a stage actor who also does movies like Don't Get It Twisted.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And I. I actually thought he was kind of coming across unlikable. It was like, you know what he meant.
Jackie
Really? That surprised me, because every Denzel. I'm guessing this was from Gladiator because, like, he did, like, a press tour for that.
Kevin Clancy
I think so. Yeah.
Jackie
And all the clips.
Kevin Clancy
But he's doing was. He is. He's on.
John F. Kennedy
He's.
Kevin Clancy
He's on that.
Jackie
No, he's in. It is. It is a fellow. It's him and Jill and all.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, right, Right. So maybe it was that, but I. It was kind of. I think he just was, like, not clicking with the interviewer. Was just giving him a hard time. But. But I was like. It was interesting because, you know, he's done. Denzel has done Broadway and stuff, but, like, he's not a stage. You know what I mean?
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Like, if you were to describe him, put him in a box, like, he's not you. You've done, too. You know what I mean?
Jackie
He's not to us, but if he's stage trained, he's a stage actor.
Kevin Clancy
So to him, he' probably worst.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
But it. You know, I don't think people really appreciate the difference between a play and, like, Cut. Take three. Get your makeup done, say three lines, run it back and all that. So.
Jackie
Oh, speaking of that, I don't think I ever told this on the podcast. The. So Dave was here, like, last week, and he was in a car going to some event, and it was him, Austin and Pat. Security guard Pat. And he sees just these freaks in New York and he gets disgusted in the car and he just goes, this city, man. These freaks everywhere. Who was it? Me and Tommy. Fat goes. I think that's fights of Tommy. And then they all know. They all like, look, they're like. It is. It's fights at times. Me, we were in the mascot costumes, just sprinting through traffic.
Kevin Clancy
They don't have video or anything. Say, that would be like the perfect promo for the. For the.
Jackie
We've been causing scenes throughout New York. Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
I was going to say, you guys are like, you know, you're probably known in these streets out here. We are locals like havoc throughout parks. Yeah. We almost need, like a Making of. I wish. I wish somebody was filming you guys filming. Just to capture all this. Look at these freaks, this disgusting city. I. I hate these people. Who would ever associate with them? They're your employees, sir.
Jackie
There. And I'm paying for this, too. Yeah, I'm funding this.
Kevin Clancy
I'm the executive producer. I'm the executive producer of this show. Did they say what he said?
Jackie
Like, I haven't spoken to him. I haven't seen him. It was just Austin texted Tommy, like, you just provided, like, a funny moment in the car. And Tommy was like, what are you talking about? And Austin explained the situation, but I think because Pat's seen us walk out the door.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
A million times. So he was just like, that's fighting Tommy, man. That's great.
Kevin Clancy
I can't wait for this show, man.
Jackie
What do you think your average time having sexes, not length, time of day.
Kevin Clancy
In my older years right now, you.
Jackie
Know, combining everything throughout your life right now to this day, all the times you've had sex, find the median.
Kevin Clancy
I would honestly say it's probably smack in the middle of the day.
Jackie
I think I'm. I'm. I think I'm shockingly because. Because my times are like probably it's like 2am or 10am yeah, so I'm like. I'm like.
Kevin Clancy
So I was gonna say probably not 2am I'm probably like probably like a 9.0pm like I'm probably like 9pm, 9am so what's the middle of that? That's a 12 hour shift. So that's like right in the middle.
Jackie
No, it's not.
Kevin Clancy
4:30, 10, 11, 12. 1, 2, 3, 3, 3. 4:00 clock. Yeah, I was gonna say that was my initial guess it was gonna be 3pm I think I'm like right in the middle.
Jackie
I never thought about before and I was like, oh my. I just think sex night. And then.
Kevin Clancy
Well, yes, but like for me in my later years is morning, all day morning. It's. I'm always like, I'll get you tomorrow. Everyone's involved is like, we'll get you tomorrow.
Jackie
Yeah, you're probably like, you're probably. I'm still a t am probably. See, I think, I think in my day with you it was. It was not with you. Pav's not usually like eight. Like when I was in my mid-20s, I probably did. I probably was getting some 8pm, some 9pm, 10pm I was a lot of that.
Kevin Clancy
It depends on if you're like a relationship person or not.
Jackie
Yeah, right.
Kevin Clancy
Like if you're, if you're not in relationships, it's probably late night drunk sex. But for. I was always like pretty steadily in relationships. So it was like, let's before we go out or like. Yeah, before the night ends or whatever. So I was not. I don't think I really. I probably have. Not that much 2am at all, really.
Jackie
Yeah, it is that. That's like even in, like I was, I was.
Kevin Clancy
My dick was never working at 2am I was either like, we're getting it now or I'll get you in the morning. Very rarely.
Jackie
All right, get out, get out.
Kevin Clancy
Film it coming in there.
Jackie
Yeah. I don't know why I was thinking about that the other day.
Kevin Clancy
That's a great question. Your average time.
Jackie
I think it's. I think it's in the dawn hours would be mine, right? Dawn's in the morning.
Kevin Clancy
Dawn hours.
Jackie
No. Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
Chirping.
Jackie
What do you prefer? It's a great question.
Kevin Clancy
Have you heard of the first theory? It's like all these like relationships, tik tok couples and stuff like that. Who put out these, you know, act like experts or whatever. But I actually agree with this one is that like before you go to dinner, before you go out all that first.
Jackie
Oh, I like that.
Kevin Clancy
So like they do these little skits where they're like on their way out the door dressed up and they're like, wait, first. Which is obviously a little bit dramatic.
Jackie
But like, well, dude, once you hit like 30, there's nothing worse than walking home from a good dinner and being like, we gotta have sex. She's gonna want to, I just want to catch the third period.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, yeah, but that's why I, I, I'd have to imagine, bro, if you.
Jackie
Could tell young, just a young boy, young man who's on the precipice of puberty. If you're like, dude, you're gonna, it's not dreading sex.
Kevin Clancy
There's going to be times no part.
Jackie
Of sex when you're like, no, get away from, get that away from me.
Kevin Clancy
Down, girl, down. Skedaddle. I, I, I can't get down. Also, like, if we've almost, we're not going out after that.
Jackie
Oh, so you're first. But then we order.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, yeah. Like I, I'm, I'm like, I can't tell you how many times like water is boiling to put the pasta in. And I'm like, wait, hang on, let's, you know, I mean like, like not, not a fancy night, not a date night, not a dinner. Like, I'm in the middle of cooking dinner and I'm like, once I eat this like bowl of pasta, I'm not gonna, so let's just go do this. It's only gonna take like six minutes. And I'll like, really? But by the time we could put the pasta in and I'll come back and I'll be like al dente. It'll be perfect.
Jackie
You know, we'll put the pasta, then we'll go have sex, we'll come back, we'll give it a few more minutes and we'll get that pasta.
Kevin Clancy
Literally.
Jackie
I'm laughing, but that is literally it.
Kevin Clancy
That to me is, that's the perfect night. Like I, you know, because there's also.
Jackie
Just, that's the worst the, you ever, do you ever pause, like, kind of watching a movie Watching a TV show, and you're kind of doing some petting, and the petting gets a little heavier, and you're like, all right, let's bang. And then you get done banging, and you're like, ah, we gotta rewind the movie now. And then it, like, you missed an establishing shot.
Kevin Clancy
All right.
Jackie
So they were in this house. I don't know how we would ever caught up if we didn't.
Kevin Clancy
Didn't even get to the punchline.
Jackie
Didn't even.
Kevin Clancy
Nobody else even came on camera here. Yeah, I, I, there's just something about, like, it looming. It's like your night's not done until you, you know. So I'd rather get all that done, and then you can have your dessert, get in your pajamas, start the movie, light the fire, whatever else you're gonna do. But until that stuff is done, you can't do anything. I'm a big fan of first. I'm a big fan. I also think, like, there was a long period of time where people were like, I've never had sober sex. Like, when we were younger.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And I was like, again, being in relationships, I was like, that was actually kind of one of the, like, as much as, like, looking back, I wish I was single more often and, like, had more fun, more people. It was, it was like, I always, like, got to do what I wanted at night. Like, Like, I would. The nights were fun because I wasn't, like, worried about going home with somebody.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
It's like, I'm gonna stay out all night.
Jackie
Right.
Kevin Clancy
I'll do the extra shot or watch the full game or we'll go to the next bar, whatever. And, and sober sex is always a. I liked it. Some people are like, again, I'm not good at it, but it is more enjoyable, I think.
Jackie
Dude, I, I used to love the. You're talking about, like, hating that looming over. Dude, I would love. Only, Only like, if I was in a relationship, particularly one relationship. I had one relationship where a girlfriend really didn't like, period sex. And that's fine with me. It's not my favorite thing either. Like, we don't want to make a mess of the house. That's cool. Okay.
Kevin Clancy
That, that to me is the thing where it's like, I don't know. You got. You gotta really be into. It's like, I just, I don't need it.
Jackie
Yeah. I can get you next week.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
Is that right? Right.
Kevin Clancy
Or, you know, three weeks if you.
Jackie
If you want to have sex while you're on it. I'm down if you don't. I'm not gonna fight you and be like, what the hell, babe? I got blue balls, you know?
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, yeah, those guys, to me, it's a little bit like, okay, yeah, that bad.
Jackie
But when I had, you know, that girlfriend in particular, and she'd be like, I'm on my period. I. I would be like, the governor's coming off tonight, baby. I'm having 30 drinks tonight. I would get so jacked up, dude. I'm like, shots. Let's get some shots at the table. I don't have to. Tonight.
Kevin Clancy
There also was a period of time I remember as a young man, this is a young man's game where if it was like, oh, you're on your period. I'm getting head tonight. Now it's like, no, that's. That at this age, it's like, oh, you're gonna be, like, uncomfortable and like in pain and agitated and you're gonna suck my dick. I don't think so. That's not happening. That is so funny, though. That really is, like, for as much as I. I really do think, like, when most girls are like, I have, like, just as much sex drive as men, it's like, no, you don't. No, you don't. You never made, like, horrific life decisions based on sex. Okay? Even the period stuff cracks me up where it's like, imagine there was a world out, like, just outside of sex. If I was like, if you do this thing, your dick will be covered in someone else's blood. You'd be like, whatever it is, I'm not doing it. And then. But please, please, can I. Can I get in there?
Jackie
I'm the guy in seven Knife to me, he strapped. He strapped it to me. Whoever that guy is, he's a good ass, great actor. He.
Kevin Clancy
Imagine that being like, okay, here's the scene. You just. Someone to death with a knife.
Jackie
Go.
Kevin Clancy
It's like, you did that a little too well, dude. I don't know. I don't know how you summoned that.
Jackie
He's in one other thing that I'm really pictured him in. I want to say it's like the Fugitive or U.S. marshals or something like that right there. Leonard. Leonard, yeah, him. That's the knife guy.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, man, I don't remember. He's in all the Takens, huh?
Jackie
Bone Collector. That's what it is, the Bone Collector. He's the doctor. Great movie. I love that movie. It is not well reviewed. Dude. Denzel, Angelina Jolie and my guy, Leonard fucking movie rock.
Kevin Clancy
It is funny. To think, like, you know, you look back again. This is why I still believe, no matter what people say, that music and entertainment, there really was like a little golden era back then where things were that much better. If you. You would tell people now there's a movie with Denzel Washington and. And Angelina Jolie that absolutely sucks. What? That's impossible. No way. It's like. No. Yeah. There were so many of those movies out there that they. There's dog ones. Absolutely crazy. Omaha Steaks. It's almost that time. We got Memorial day coming up. So it means summer is here. Jackie
Me too.
Kevin Clancy
I hate the big fat ones that are, like, a mess. Give me a thing you got away from.
Jackie
The idea of, like, a burger is a sandwich. And sandwiches to be able to be handheld.
Kevin Clancy
Yes. I don't want to cut it in half. I did learn from our boy Philip Franklin Lee, though, that smash burgers are like, you can have a thin burger. That's not a smash burger you have. It's a technique you really have to, like, smash the burger.
Jackie
Really?
Kevin Clancy
Otherwise, like, you can just have a thin patty that's not smash burger style. Smashing apparently. Like, it, like, releases the flavor while capturing the char. It's a whole thing. Learned all about the burger science. So if you want the smash burgers, you want the filet minions. They got pork chops, they got chicken cutlets. We have to address what's going on in the sports world right now.
Jackie
Ah.
Kevin Clancy
I don't think I've ever seen anything lamer than the people literally raining on the Knicks literal parade.
Jackie
Yeah, but, like, it's. It's incredibly lame. But they. It's every. Every team does it to, like, oh, that's your Super Bowl. That's your.
Kevin Clancy
Totally.
Jackie
But it's.
Kevin Clancy
But it's gone on. It's everybody. It's like, Paul Pierce and the analysts are doing it. Dante's, like, suicidal over this. The only Dante is. Oh, my God.
Jackie
He's a deranged person.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. He's like. Like, there was a video of the. The Celtics bus, like, slowly leaving.
Jackie
Yes.
Kevin Clancy
And the Knicks fans were, like, filming it, and they were kind of in the way, but it wasn't. I mean, that's. The bus just, like, slow rolled away.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And Dante was like, look at this trash. Like, I was like. Like, it's just a bus driving away, dude. I thought they were gonna, like, throw stuff at the. Like, break the windows or something. It's, like, literally just a bus driving away. And he was like, yeah. Like, I mean, every tweet is. Is like, this from Dante. He's. He's, like, flipping out about this. The only people I saw, Mick McMahon and Greenie, were like, the Knicks beat us. The next Beat us. They definitively beat the. Out of that team. Not beat the. Out of him, but, like, handled their.
Jackie
Business again, from what I saw. Yeah. Obviously, it. It's probably easier for me than anybody since I'm not really. I'm a. I root for the Celtics, but you guys are a great silver place for me. I'm happy to root for you guys. I'm happy you guys.
Kevin Clancy
So this is what I don't understand. I mean, I do. I know exactly where it's coming from. It's coming from.
Jackie
It's.
Kevin Clancy
It's New York. It's. There's jealousy about the city, the. The people, the life. And then there is an element I get of, like, why have the Knicks been, like, crowned, like, treated like a crown jewel of the NBA when they haven't won? I get that. But all the more reason, like, that's the point. Like. Like, I. I likened it to almost, like, the Cubs and the Red Sox. Like, I mean, at this point, you know, nobody was like, them 86 years and 108 years, but we're at 50 for the Knicks and like, so for the vast majority of a lot of us, like, nothing in our lifetime. And so it's like a curse. And if along the way of breaking one of those curses, you get excited like this, like, I, I just don't, I feel like maybe, maybe I'm wrong. Were people doing that with the Red Sox and the Cubs when they were like, getting excited along the way? You're kind of like, oh, they're, they're like finally gonna do it. And instead the Knicks, it's like, act like you've been there before. And it's like, we haven't, dude.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
We haven't been here in 25 years. We have not been here before.
Jackie
It's hard to compare because like, you know, 2004, social media, like, yeah, my friends in high school did make fun of me because, because I went to a high school where people were from everywhere. So like, we were the lovable, we were like, ah, you're the lovable losers.
Kevin Clancy
There's, this is like the hatable losers.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And I feel like that way with the Mets too. It's like when the Mets were, you know, making a run last year, there was like a lot of people rooting against them. And I'm like, you're rooting for like the Dodgers right now, like over the.
Jackie
But there's also, again, I don't like, in my world, there's people rooting for you. Like, my parents are happy. Like, there's, yeah, there are like lovable loser aspects of it. But social media is going to be angrier and meaner. But like, it's, it's, it look, I wish the Celtics won. It's definitively cool that the city is jacked up. It's cool to be in a city.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, like, like there was a clip of precious Achua, like walking, I think just like out of the arena and he crossed the street and went over to the fans were like behind the barricade and he like high fived the mall and was talking.
Jackie
Yeah. Watching a city embrace a team and a team embrace a city is cool no matter where.
Kevin Clancy
It's definitively cool. Like, I mean, in, I mean, I guess, like, I hate Boston. So if it's the other way around, but I don't know, I, I, I would find something to make fun of. Don't get me wrong. But I don't think I, I think that like, when people like, you know, you did this for the second round, it's like, yeah, we do this for the second round. We do this for the regular season.
Jackie
We did it for the first round three years ago. So, yeah, obviously we're doing game two literally.
Kevin Clancy
Like, there are. You win a big regular season game in New York right now, you'll get a little block party.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah, I think that's cool.
Kevin Clancy
I can understand people saying, like, you know, you're, you're, you're doing it too early, but it's like, we are so into it and so like, jacked up that, like, every night's a party. That's cool. I can't. And even if you think it, if you want to, like, you know, you don't want to give any credit, whatever, but to be like, if you're like the face of this, like, again, Paul, Paul Pierce, he's kind of a clown, but he's like an analyst, you know, and he was like, they, they beat up a, a injured Celtics team, like, without Tatum, like, bro, I mean, fine.
Jackie
But that's what happened. That was the team they had to.
Kevin Clancy
Play, but they also.
Jackie
And they beat the team they had to play.
Kevin Clancy
They beat Tatum three times, right?
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
So, you know, people try to claim that the, that the game he was injured was not. Like, that game was over. Yeah, they said it because he was. You know, it's crazy. So I get it when there's like, desperate fans, like the Dantes of the world. I understand, but like, some of the people who are a little more established playing this angle is, it's a weird.
Jackie
Thing that we do. Just like, as society, like, this happens in every good city. Like, some fans are, some fans are bandwagon, some fans are nuts. And like, every, every time it happens in a city, like, look what these idiots are doing. Like, I, I, it's kind of what we were talking about with Josh the other day, where it was like, talking about being anti ring chasing or ring ring, whatever you want to call it, commentating. And I agree with that. Post career, I think I, I'm sorry, I, I think post career, you can start being like, well, did he even get a ring? But, like, while games are happening, it's just, did we win or lose? Are we having, like, Right, if we won, I'm having fun. If we lost, I'm mad.
Kevin Clancy
That's it. Yeah. Did you see the, the billboard guy?
Jackie
Yes.
Kevin Clancy
That guy's iconic.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
I, I don't know if it was easy to get up that. I, I feel like it was probably harder to get down. I feel like that's one of the things you get up there, you're like, this is sick. And then you're like. But I mean, he was. He was in his slides.
Jackie
He was in flip flops. It looks sick there. It's got to be a ladder on the back of it, right? There were like, five people up there.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, I think it's more like there's just like, kind of scaffolding on the side, but I don't think it's like a ladder ladder.
Jackie
I think it's definitively dangerous, but I don't think it's as hard as is it. Cuz, like, when I first, I was like, how the hell do you even scale a screen? But on the back, there's probably something, right? I found myself in a situation where I was the opposing fan. Sat Friday night.
Kevin Clancy
Wait, what was Friday night?
Jackie
Friday night was a game.
Kevin Clancy
You were at the.
Jackie
So I was. We were. We were shooting mascots, and we were shooting on the Upper west side. So, like, I got. I took a subway home from 95th, and I got on the subway, and it was just me, five kids. Five, like, eighth grade to sophomore year. And three of them were big or four of them. No, I think it was four kids. Three of them were bigger, and one was just a kind of a little run to the group. And he just looked at me, and I had, like. I. I don't know, I got a fast and furious T shirt on, sunglasses on. And he just looked at me. He's like, hey, man, you going to the game? And I kind of smiled, and I was like, nah, dude, I'm. I'm just heading home. You don't want me at the game, though. I'm a Celtics guy. And he was like, what? And he got up and he, like, started, like, walking around the. The. The train. The train. And he's like, man, you like the Celtics? And I was like, yeah. He's like, you fucking going down? And I was like, no, you guys are. And then the bus gets. The train gets to another stop, and people start coming on, and there are people in some Knicks jerseys. And he's like, hey, guys. Hey, this guy is Celtics fan, right? And I'm like. And like, everyone started like, the fuck you. And like. But, like, we're all having fun. Like, it was, like, a great time, and. And I was laughing and then more in every stop. You know, we're coming down from 95th around the one, so closer and closer to MSG. So, like, more and more Knicks jerseys are getting on the train. And he's letting all of them know, right?
Kevin Clancy
Okay, joke's over. Joke's over. Hey.
Jackie
He's like, hey, hey, this guy's a Celtics fan. And about. I forget where it was. Maybe Columbus Circle. They started chanting, was it Boston? Boston. Yeah, Boston. And he's jumping up and down, bouncing up and down the train car, going, hey, let him know.
John F. Kennedy
Let him know.
Jackie
And then he. There was, like, a Foreman, like, coming home from work. You know, the guys have, like, the Milwaukee bags.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
He's got his arm around that guy, and he's going, let him know you got the wrench, Mr. Foreman. Let him know you got the wrench. And the whole place going, Boston.
Kevin Clancy
That's great.
Jackie
It was awesome, dude. It was so much fun. It's like, you know what subway ride I've ever had?
Kevin Clancy
That. Those are funny, though, because those. All it takes is, like, one. It's a powder keg. Yeah.
Jackie
You know what I mean?
Kevin Clancy
Like. Like that. That's. That Pacers fan was kind of getting heckled. And it was okay until someone hit him in the head with a bag of garbage. And then it was like, oh, we turned the corner here, you know?
Jackie
Well, he's lucky. Like, you can't be going, I am fully.
Kevin Clancy
Like, I. I really don't. I really don't like when people start fighting, shoving, touching. But when you are, especially right now, going into 7th Avenue dressed in opposing colors or being a dick, like, you're asking for it. Yeah, you really are. Like. And that also wasn't. That was embarrassing, but that was not, like, he didn't get hurt. Yeah. Garbage. If it was like, a chair, but, like, bag of garbage is probably the best thing that could happen to that guy. But I. I, you know, I feel like nobody should do that. But also, you got to be aware of what. What you're putting yourself potentially, you know, in the middle of if you're gonna do all that. But I. I. Yeah, I made a video that I really didn't even think was that I just made a video being like, knicks fans have been through a lot, and that's why this is happening.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And it has, like, been embraced by everybody. It was really nice. It's so awesome. Like, a million views, and everyone's resharing it. Being like, this is why. And I was like, oh, wow. Usually when I do sports videos, they're kind of just like, I do them because I like sports, but they don't, like, perform well for me. And this thing is ripping every. Because you can't have it both ways. It's like, people have been making fun of the Knicks for 25 years. More than just. You're a bad team. Yeah, they are in a mortally bad program. They have the worst executives, they made the worst moves, they had the worst luck, the worst picks, the worst trades, the worst contract. All of that. If you're going to make fun of us for 25 years about that when we now win, you can't just be like, act like you've been there before.
Jackie
Yeah, yeah, you've.
Kevin Clancy
You have been documenting for the past two and a half decades just how bad it has been. So now you have to recognize that it's good. So there's a reason why people are that jacked up.
Jackie
So it's almost, almost like saying, like, imagine if someone told you there's a Denzel movie and Angelina Jolie movie and it sucked. Like, what if I told you Phil Jackson was the president of the New York Knicks and it was a nightmare.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. What if I told you that there is a New York franchise, Their arena is in the middle of Manhattan, they're worth billions of dollars. It's called the Mecca of basketball. And they're the worst team. It's like, all that is. It's not just your average bad team team. It's not just like, we were the Bucks and we were bad for a long time and then we won a championship. It's like, no, you have all the expectations and delivered in the worst way imaginable for the last, really, five decades, minus a little run in the 90s. And now I had John Stark's jersey.
Jackie
I was actually thinking about that on the subway. Here I was having this very conversation, and I was like, a New York fan, like, until I was like, five. Then my dad put the kibosh on it. But I had a.
Kevin Clancy
Your dad, like, beat that out of you.
Jackie
But he was the one who'd always bring me.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
Like, I was in New York, York fan, because we came to Rangers games with his friend Jamie and we came to Giants games.
Kevin Clancy
He probably real quick was like, oh, wait a minute. Yeah, I can't do this, you know.
Jackie
But I had a Jason Seahorn jersey. I had a John Starks jersey and a Mark Messier jersey.
Kevin Clancy
Wow, you really were.
Jackie
Yeah, I never really.
Kevin Clancy
Trinity right there.
Jackie
I liked them all individual. I just, I, I, I. And my. If you asked me, like, was I a fan of any New York teams, I would have said, yes, the Rangers. And then I just kind of, like, liked other players. But I guess if I had three New York jerseys, I guess I kind of did. Like, yeah. But again, like, me and my dad would Come down here all the time and go to games. So no, I liked him when I was five years old.
Kevin Clancy
I'm sure he was doing that, just being like, ah, it's like this fun thing for me and my kid, but we're Boston fans. And then the day that, you know, they won the cup or whatever, he was probably like, oh, wait a minute. Yeah, yeah, I'm about to like, lose my son here.
Jackie
He won the cup and he took down all the Rangers. Yeah, yeah.
Kevin Clancy
This is all fun and games until. Until they win a fucking cup. By the way, how did you get.
Jackie
Anything done over the course of 20 years? Because like, every single night, now that.
Kevin Clancy
My teams are good, oh, I have an appointment.
Jackie
I can't make plans a week in advance because I don't know if there's gonna be a playoff. You're drunk every night, you're eating like every night. You're tired every day.
Kevin Clancy
Especially this when the Celtics and Bruins are in it like every year.
Jackie
Celtics were in every year, but particularly.
Kevin Clancy
When they're both going on at the same time.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, it was like, we have a stream tonight, tomorrow, the next night, the next night. Like, it never ended.
Jackie
It's. It's an extra three months of. Or two months of like I have something to do every night. It's. And you can't plan because you don't.
Kevin Clancy
Know when games are.
Jackie
Like, I'm looking. I'm looking ahead to finals game, scheduling out.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, you gotta. You gotta be smart about it. And it's one of those things where.
Jackie
Like, it's all I do. So like, I don't like. But looking back on it now, like now that I don't do things the entire playoffs, I'm like, God, that was. It was grind.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. Like I. I'm almost like thinking about things where it's like I thought I was gonna have a nice little like, slow start to the summer. Maybe take some time off. It's like, no, now actually have more. More. It is, it is.
Jackie
You're in the prime.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
Sucks for you.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
You're like in your 20s. It's awesome excuse to go out every single. But like, like now again, what you're saying, like, I look at it now and thinking like, damn, even watching. Like I watched the Leafs Island Leaf's Panthers last night and like, it was great to just watch it and be like, all right, I don't have to do anything. But usually it's like, well, we play again tomorrow night and we play last night and the Celtics played in between.
Kevin Clancy
The Leafs are just, they're awesome. They never, they never, I think Ryan Winnie said they never disappoint.
Jackie
It's like, great.
Kevin Clancy
It's insane every time. Because I, I saw some, a lot of Leafs fans, I said, they're the.
Jackie
Same thing as you.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, well, I said, like, I cannot imagine what would happen if the Knicks win the title. Like, from 7th Avenue to 9th Avenue was like, shut down.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Like, if the, if they win the championship, I, I think the entire island, if not all five boroughs would be like, shut down. I'm not even kidding. Like, I really think, like, it would be like the city might have to like, give everyone a day off or something. Like, I really think it'd be that crazy. And I had a lot of Toronto fans being like, the Leafs got you beat. And I was like, you know, I, I, I, My reaction was like, no, no. Then I was thinking about Canada and hockey and like, it is that important, so maybe. But it's kind of like Kanye. I guess we'll never know. I don't think you're ever going to do it, dude.
Jackie
The Leafs haven't beat the Bruins in the playoffs. We sold a T shirt last year since Dwight D. Eisenhower was President. Like, that's, I don't even. Eisenhower was what, the forties? Was he World War II?
Kevin Clancy
Eisenhower dropped the ball.
Jackie
But was FDR FDR was for World War II or was FDR the New Deal? I think.
Kevin Clancy
Who dropped the bomb, Truman or Eisenhower?
Jackie
Eisenhower. Eisenhower. Wait, we, I mean, I, I, I can.
John F. Kennedy
Truman did.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. So Eisenhower was probably. Yeah, like in the 50s.
Jackie
It doesn't matter who, but it was.
Kevin Clancy
A long five years ago.
Jackie
But yeah, so no, if it was, it's probably Eisenhower. Hower then if it's 5,000, 361, it's probably Eisenhower the. But like, that's insane. You're the, what you're speaking of with the Mets. The, like Toronto, home of the Hockey hall of Fame. Like, it is, it's.
Kevin Clancy
I, I mean, they are, it actually is similar to like, New York, the Mecca and all that. It's like you don't ever win.
Jackie
But my only thing would be, it might be Montreal would be like the fair Mecca. Toronto has the hall of Fame, but personally, I think of, I think of hockey, I think of like, Montreal.
Kevin Clancy
It's probably similar to Celtics and Knicks. It's like, yeah, you guys are the Mecca, but like all the banners, you know what I mean? Like, it's probably them, but they, they have won a bunch, like, in the past, right? Or no, The.
Jackie
The Leafs. Yes.
Kevin Clancy
But like, many, many years when it was like, original six. Yeah. Beating. Were they winning, like, every year?
Jackie
No, the original six, that was Montreal. Montreal was winning every year. Because when the original six happened, you.
Kevin Clancy
Had Toronto, not original six.
Jackie
They were.
Kevin Clancy
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Jackie
But Montreal still won like Montreal was. And then they had in the 80s with Patrick Waugh. Early. I went into the 90s.
Kevin Clancy
Patrick Watt played in the 80s.
Jackie
Like late 80s. Like 90. I feel like 92. My, my, like, youth sports are all based around 1992. Because 1992, the year in sports. The Sports Illustrated VHS. I watched that 100, like, thousand.
Kevin Clancy
Everything about that.
Jackie
Yeah. Oh, so, like, I know they won the cup that year. Patrick Wall was the goalie, but I think that, like, they were on a run. So he either bled into the 80s or went more into mid-90s. I'm not positive. But yeah, he was. He's a Canadian guy. But they're. When the original six started, you had to play with players from your area.
Kevin Clancy
Oh, wow.
Jackie
So that's why Montreal was awesome. Got it.
Kevin Clancy
Got it. I mean, yeah, I would. I would almost like to see. I wish the Knicks and. And the Leafs could win, you know, in the same year or something and compare. I really. I mean, I'm partial to New York, obviously, and basketball is a sport. I don't think there will be anything like a Knicks championship.
Jackie
Yeah. But hot, dude, hockey in Canada, it's crazy.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
I mean, dude, they were booing their team in the second period last night. It's game seven.
Kevin Clancy
Were they down like four nothing right away?
Jackie
Two nothing. Oh, that's not bad.
Kevin Clancy
But props to them. They knew we were going.
Jackie
Like we. We've seen this movie before the second period.
Kevin Clancy
I mean, but like, has. Has there been antics, like the Knicks fans, like, in this little up to the second round, like, I haven't seen.
Jackie
I don't know.
Kevin Clancy
I just can't. I can't. Can't imagine any. I mean, the Knicks hands are just nuts. Oh, by the way, I don't even want to give him any attention. Trey Young, that was the lamest I've ever.
Jackie
What do you do?
Kevin Clancy
He just tweeted. By the way, the Thunder crowd is louder than the Knicks crowd. And it's like Trey Young had this quick little rivalry for the one playoff series where he did win and he was good. So, you know, and. And I'm not trying to downplay it, where. Oh, there's nothing with Trey Young. Like, there is. They hate Trey Young. I love the fact, like, you celebrate A Celtics win, and it'll just be like, Kevin Durant, fuck Trey Young.
Jackie
But.
Kevin Clancy
But this is very clearly, like, he. He wants there to be a Knicks rivalry. You know what I mean?
Jackie
I don't know. I think it's. I think it's funny. Pals and I were kind of talking about this yesterday with Soto and the. And the Yankee stuff. I think it's funny when teams do, like, the player does what they're supposed to do, and the fans do what they're supposed to do, and it's like, all right, we got a little rivalry going. Yeah, we got some juice here. Like, but that's where.
Kevin Clancy
Like, there is one. There was one. But, like, it's not like, you know, they had the one playoff series. If it was like, we.
John F. Kennedy
We.
Jackie
But it's still ongoing. Like, you guys still hate Trey Young and Trey Young still.
Kevin Clancy
Yes, but the only thing I would say is, like, I think the. The last, like, 10 matchups, he stunk in. The Knicks have won.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
I mean, it's very. He won the playoff series, so it's like, you know, that's a big, big check for him. But since then, he's been, like, garbage. And it's not like the Hawks and Knicks have, like, this thing. You know what I mean? Yeah.
Jackie
Because last.
Kevin Clancy
Last eight games against the next.
Jackie
I like what Trey Young is trying to do, but he's just not good at it.
Kevin Clancy
Well, okay, that's my point. It's like, it's. What you're doing is very transparent, and I think it's a little too. Try hard. And like, if there. If someone asked him that question and he just answered it, but it's like, you logged on to say that on purpose for a reason.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And, you know, and this.
Jackie
This isn't a tweet, but this also happened last night, and this is like, this. I started dying laughing. This is perfect. It's Brad Marchand last night after Game 7. Brad Marchand, in case you don't know, is 50 against the Maple Leafs in Game 7. He was probably the best player on the ice last night. Two assists, one goal. He's a gangster. He's a gamer, man. And. And he gets to his press conference last night, and he goes talking about the Leafs because they've been working and building something really big here for a while, and they were different brand of hockey this year. They're getting crucified, and I don't think it's justified. 5 and oh. Against them in game Sevens.
Kevin Clancy
Take the high road.
Jackie
Just be like, I Don't know. A good group of guys over there. Like, I think that that's funnier than being like, yeah, they suck.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
The back of it.
Jackie
And then one of a Maple Leafs fan quotes we. And said, houses made of sticks and straw have worked fine for years. Said the wolf. I don't think the sudden rush for brick houses is justified.
Kevin Clancy
By the way, speaking of the Yankee fans with Soto, the bleacher creatures are the losers, dude. They are. They are tough these days. There was a time where the bleacher creatures were a cool thing. The roll call was, like, popular. They were like a scary bunch in the bleachers. Now it is that the turning the back thing. I thought it was so corny.
Jackie
See, I. That I like, too, but I didn't know. Pavs. Pavs enlightened me a little bit about, like, the quotes and stuff like that. But I. I saw the clip. I didn't see that until the other day, but I saw the clip of the booing and then Soto tipping his cap. I love.
Kevin Clancy
That was good.
Jackie
That's how it should have been the whole time. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Kevin Clancy
I like that. The. The. The turning it back is like. And this is what the bleacher creatures do. It's all very coordinated. They have roll calls and they have, like.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
You know, but to me, it's like a. That just means that there was some. And I'm pretty sure they're like the leader of the. It used to be that guy Baldivin. You remember him? Yes. And he was like, a scumbag trash New Yorker.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Kind of like fat face jj where it was like, I want the typical Yankees fan, you know, I believe at least one video I saw recently. The leader is like this, like, Ned Flanders looking, right, like, card collectible guy.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And so that. That kind of loses its luster right there. And so the fact that that means that, like, they showed up and that guy was like. They had a meeting, you know? Okay, here's what we're gonna do, guys. When he gets out here, we're all gonna turn around. He turned our back on us, so we're gonna turn our back on him. To me, that just. It loses all the.
Jackie
Yeah, he played.
Kevin Clancy
40 games, bro. It really is. It's very. It's like, dude, you went on one date with that girl, and you're acting like, you know, you were married. Yeah.
Jackie
The sex was great, but not last long.
Kevin Clancy
And. And I mean, like, there are. You would. You would think it was like.
Jackie
Like.
Kevin Clancy
Like Johnny Damon didn't Catch as much heat going, like, right. He's Red Sox. You know what I mean? There are people who, like, switch after a career amount of time to go to a rivalry. This guy was like a hired gun for a season. Like, get the. Over it or. You don't have to get over it. They're not gonna get over it. I understand why, but it does. It just loses, you know, it doesn't have as much teeth when it's like, you're doing these kind of, like, corny, organized things for a guy who was not, like, a Yankee.
Jackie
Yeah. I mean, but like, like, what? As a fan, what's fun is beating, you know, your rivals and hating your rivals. And if your rival doesn't play ball, then it's not really as fun. Like, and I thought Sodo was kind of playing ball. Like, you want your rival to do things that you can be, like, you. You son of a. And. And like, I kind of like that from Trey Young. But the, like, like, I. I didn't. I wasn't aware of the fact that he sucks and you guys don't really care about him. But, like, you're saying, like, he does come up a lot.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. You know, there's something there. It's. It's not like there's nothing but. Knicks fan should react to this by.
Jackie
Just never speaking about him again because that was where his juice was always. And like, you look at the Kobe's, the Jordans, the Reggie Millers, you're like.
Kevin Clancy
I love MSG more than anything.
Jackie
And then you did, like, discredit that. Yeah, that's kind of your whole thing, dude. By the way, the one last thing about the Knicks, this is the coolest.
Kevin Clancy
Thing in the way. Oh, my God. So what is that Brunson just waving to the crowd? Is. It was actually what that was game.
Jackie
That was the one where they got blown out in game five.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, yeah, when he. When he. When he got fouled out, he just.
Jackie
Fell down 30, and then now he got put on the Jumbotron.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. So here. Here's. Here's. Here's what's funny, though. I'm watching all these games with Shea. Shay is really into watching sports. Keegan plays sports. Doesn't really watch it. Shay really likes to watch the Knicks. And so I'm watching her develop into, like, a sports fan, you know, and she's. God bless her heart, she's just so pure still that she doesn't worry about mushes and superstitions and stuff. And, like, she. She was watching that game. She's like, we're up by like 30 and it's not even half time. It's over. I was like, don't say that. Be quiet. She's like, no, I mean, it's over, dad. And I was like, don't do this. So I'm just watching her be like this, you know, non jaded, non bitter fan. And meanwhile, I, on the other side, the Knicks were probably up 35. And I'm texting Clem and I was like, do you think I can tweet out the Jalen Brunson waving? He goes, I don't know, man. And I was like. And I remember having this same exact logic with the Patriots 23 at halftime. I was like, I, I had a tweet queued up of, of Lady Gaga jumping off the roof. And I was like, patriots fans right now, like, jumping off the roofs. You know? And I was like, should I send it? Should I not? Because I really, I'm, I don't know about anybody else, but I was like, I'm, I was not surprised by that comeback. I was waiting for it to happen. But my logic was, if this comeback happens, I'm going to be suicidal anyway.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
So what's, what's one tweet Cold takes exposed, where everyone's laughing at me on top of that, that's just sand to the beach versus. This is my one chance to run up the score a little bit, so I'm going to take my shot. You know, had the same exact thought. If the Celtics come back from this, like, we're in a world of hurt regardless, so I might as well get some, get some fun in. And, and I, like, I was tweeting, text with Pav. Sex with a clam. Like, should I do it? I was like, it. I'm doing it. I'm just doing it. It's like I'm afraid to talk shit when I'm up by 40 points because that's how much I've been, you know, beat down and battered by this goddamn life. As a sports fan, that was. I remember being like, I, I, I think we won. I think we can, I think we could take out the starters. It was like a 42 point lead. Like I was watching at a board every time we would be up 35.
Jackie
Every time they hit like two threes.
Kevin Clancy
In a row, because they did. They went on like a 90 run quick. And I was like, this could go real fast.
Jackie
A group of, like, a massive, massive group of mixers.
Kevin Clancy
Everybody would be silent. We're up 40 till I don't even think, like, I don't know what it would take for me to shake the. Like that. Like the Knicks, Mets, jets could all win a title. And I still think I'd be like, every time. You know what I mean? It's, it's decades of, like, ingrained, like, behavior, you know, that I just don't know if I could ever shake.
Jackie
You shake it, you win. You win, you shake it.
Kevin Clancy
How long before you, like, you know, were not like, like when the Red Sox won one, were you like, all right, we're good.
Jackie
I think, I think the socks.
Kevin Clancy
Because you also won it in such a definitive fashion with the Yankees. You know what I mean?
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Like, like, like had you just beaten like the Indians to get to the World Series and then beat the Rockies or whoever. Be like, all right, but you haven't, like, exercised the demon yet. You know what I mean? But eating the, you know, it was like.
Jackie
What also helped was the Pats had already won three.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
So that was the pats of 1 3. And it's like, okay, we're not a cursed reason city.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. We have logical talk. All right, so it's not the black magic. It's not sorcery. We know that.
Jackie
And then it was. But then it was like, but maybe the socks are. And then they won an 04. And I was like, all right, we're just good best. And then we were the best for 15 more years.
Kevin Clancy
I can't even cannot wrap my head around it. I really can't fathom it.
Jackie
I recommend it. I recommend it.
Kevin Clancy
Highly recommend. Yeah. 10 out of 10 would do again.
Jackie
During the Nixon when they were up.
Kevin Clancy
40 soda went to the plate with.
Jackie
Three men run or two men on.
John F. Kennedy
And like, it was.
Jackie
And everybody's attention just shifted there for like one second. I was like, this is. I've never experienced anything even close to.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. The, the, the night that like, I guess it was game two maybe, and the Mets had like a big win or a walk off or something. And I was like, it's probably the best 12 hours of my, of my sports life like, ever right now. Thank God. Shout out to the Knicks for just. Nobody gave a. About the subway. It's like, ah, whatever.
Jackie
I actually, I don't know how it went, but I, I was. If I didn't go to the play, I was like, I think Friday night, I was just like, looking for stuff to do on the weekend. I was like, I actually might check out Subway series game.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. Go to City Field.
Jackie
Yankee Stadium.
Kevin Clancy
Yankee Stadium. Definitively sucks.
Jackie
I've never been. I've never been to a game at City. I've been. I went to Blink 182 at City.
Kevin Clancy
But City, no, City is like, great baseball experience all around. And I'm not just saying that. It really is. And then I've been. I saw a lot of Yankee fans tweets this weekend that I guess the Yankees are doing, like, a lot of extra. They're playing, like, music all the time. They're playing sound effects all the time. And, like, all Yankee fans hate it. I'm like, this is so great. You hate your own product. It's the best. All right, we're getting into our interview with Michael Turner. We haven't done voicemails in a little while. We're gonna get back on the horse with that. So we'll start next week. Everybody make sure you submit your voicemails videos. Head over to any of the social media channels, KFC Radio, and you'll see the link to submit your video. And we will get back on that. It's probably the longest we've gone without doing some voicemail, so we got to get the people back in the mix.
Jackie
But for today, call in with some timely ones, please. And specific ones for Pavs and Jackie, please. I don't know why. I just saw Pabs and I was like, I bet he's got some dumb.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, our girl Jackie's out on jury duty, by the way, so.
Jackie
Oh, yeah. Have we not said that?
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, I don't think.
Jackie
Yeah, Jackie's on jury duty. She's got some. Hopefully she can tell him, but she's.
Kevin Clancy
Got some great stories. You know, if I know Jackie, I'm sure something ridiculous is happening.
Jackie
Oh, by the way, never mind. We'll talk about Jackie's insane tech when she's back on the show, too.
Kevin Clancy
The hairs.
Jackie
Yeah, she's a nutcase.
Kevin Clancy
She really is. The things that come out of her brain, it's just like. But anyway, so submit your voicemails. We'll get back to that next week. And right now, it's Michael Turner on KFC Radio. Let's talk to him. You know when a new shirt becomes your. Your new go to? That's what happened when I picked up a few new pieces from Quint. They are the first things I reach for in my closet. Jackie
U I N C I Sometimes I.
Kevin Clancy
Think if I like you just said I wanted to get out of Cincy and like, yeah, that makes sense. And sometimes I feel like if I was. When you're in New York, you don't think of like, I got to get out of here. You know what I mean? So that was.
Jackie
Yes.
Kevin Clancy
It wasn't really a thought of mine to be like, oh, I'm in this, like this small town and I got bigger things to do. It was like, we're gonna go to the city, I'm gonna live in the city. So I wonder sometimes if I lived somewhere else, came up in a smaller place if I would have had that feeling.
Jackie
I was thinking about that the other day because I don't think of myself as someone who was like, I got to get out of here or anything like that.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
And for some reason I was, I was just thinking about. I don't know, I was high and I was just kind of like just thinking about my life. And I like did the math on where I live from ages 14 to 28.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Jackie
I lived in like 12 like 12.
John F. Kennedy
Different places in the whole cities.
Jackie
Like, like, like, dude, I was in. I mean technically, if you. I want to start at 15. I. I did a summer in Salamanca, but then from there it was like I went. So I lived in Massachusetts and then it became Rhode island and then back to Mass. Back to Rhode Island. So like I'm counting those as okay. But then to Vermont, Rhode Island, Florida, Rhode Island, New York, Boston, New York. There was like from like 15 East.
John F. Kennedy
Coast gum like every year.
Jackie
Yeah. Every six months I moved.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
And I never thought of myself as a person who was like on the road or on the go or like a person who was traveling.
Kevin Clancy
Dude, there are people who never Move like once.
John F. Kennedy
I know, dude. I'm from Cincinnati, bro. I go back and these cats are.
Kevin Clancy
Like, you might get a new apartment or something, but you're in the same town your whole life.
John F. Kennedy
Some people haven't left. Like, they think Kentucky is far away.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, right.
John F. Kennedy
You can see it across the river.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, but I, I probably would be one of those guys. I, I don't think you would dwell. I don't know, I, I just, I'm not a big. Like, I don't think you're fancy if you're from New York or LA or whatever. I think you can be in Cincy, you could be in Arizona, you can be in Milwaukee. And maybe, maybe it's more of a modern thing with the Internet or whatever. You can be wherever. You can be in a small market and kill it. You can, whatever. And I don't, I just don't put stock in the fact it's like you happen to be born in a different place than me. So you think you're like, fancier, smarter, better, more popular. I don't believe that. But it might just be convenient that the place I was born happened to be a big time land of opportunity.
John F. Kennedy
Because it's funny you say that, because literally the exact opposite mentality in my household growing up. My mother's born, raised in Brooklyn, then Long Island, Westbury, all that. And then my father's from la, they met in Chicago, so big city. I was like raised by big city mentality really. And like by my, you know, dinner table. Growing up, my mom had the New Yorker thing where it was the painting of, it's just New York and then the river and then nobody knows what else is out. It's like the world is New York City, right?
Kevin Clancy
Yes, like that.
John F. Kennedy
That like literally lived to buy every chicken parm she ever cooked. You know what I'm saying? Like, all that. And she wasn't Italian, so it wasn't the best chicken. Love you, Ma. But, but like, I think that that mentality probably catapulted me to the way that I thought about leaving Cincy too, because she was a. They always moved around. My mom and dad were always like wherever. Wherever the, the money might be and like that. Before they settled in Cincy, they were in San Diego, Louisiana. Chicago, New York. You know, my dad was in the 80s. He was a salesman in New York. He ended up class. He was like a Steely Dan song. He was Scarsdale doing cocaine and a little bit too much tequila. Ended up. And ended up kind of like flat on out of that didn't go well. Ended up in Cincy, so that's the only reason I ended up in Cincy. But they both had that big city mentality.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
So I think maybe that's. That's what it was when I was, like. I felt like I was capable of that because of them.
Kevin Clancy
To me, like, when you said, like, New York is, like. To me, that's just. My whole life is New York really.
John F. Kennedy
Right.
Kevin Clancy
So, like, when I. That's also why I will, like, on New York or why, like, I hate the Yankees more than other teams because, like, this is just my everyday life. So this is what I think about. And I don't even consider what's going on outside of this bubble.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
You know, and I guess maybe when. I don't know if there was a. It's kind of like, you know, you can talk about your own family, but if someone else on the outside did. So I don't know if there was ever a time where, like, it was the world against New York, maybe I would be more, like, prideful of it. But right now, it's just like, this is the only place that I live that I like sometimes and I hate.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Other times. And, like, I don't care about the outside.
Jackie
See, I think. I think of it as the world versus New York a lot. I think everyone. I think people.
John F. Kennedy
It is that way.
Jackie
People love coming to New York, and I, like, I'm. I'm actually, like, defensive in New York.
John F. Kennedy
I really like New York. Yeah.
Jackie
And people come and they're like. It's like, the only place in the world people feel comfortable on.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
Like, if.
Kevin Clancy
Like, if I.
Jackie
If I start going down.
Kevin Clancy
Because they know this.
John F. Kennedy
Because they know you can defend yourself.
Jackie
It's number one.
John F. Kennedy
You have this skin. And they.
Jackie
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
It's like.
Kevin Clancy
It's like you said about Frank being fat. You don't go to an actual fat person like, you're fat. It's the person who, like. It's like, you can talk about New York because, you know, it's thriving. And.
Jackie
Dude.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah. They're gonna be fine if you talk.
Jackie
Yeah. Like. Like, for. Particularly, like, you know, Mason Dixon's a good divider. But, like, when. Nor when Southerners come up and they'll be like, look at these liberal elites and, like, look at the homeless.
Kevin Clancy
Get me back to God's country.
Jackie
And if I went down South. Look at this piece of. With all these goddamn cousin.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
These pumpkins. Yes. Yeah.
Jackie
If you just like. Like, lean into whatever and, like, to be fair to People who come, like homeless people do exist here, and they're.
John F. Kennedy
Kind of thriving here.
Jackie
What's that?
John F. Kennedy
They're thriving here.
Jackie
But you know what, dude? I was just in Tampa. I wasn't around in Arizona. Arizona, It's a good city. I thought Tampa's a good city to go to if you got something else to do there.
John F. Kennedy
Interesting. I'm plugged in. In Tampa, I've had some good times.
Jackie
But again, we were there so quick. I had some really good food. I'll give you one.
John F. Kennedy
From Tampa to Scottsdale recently. Yeah, that's some of the hottest chicks in America.
Jackie
In both those towns, I. I hung out with Bert Kreischer and Barstool Sports, so didn't see any of them.
John F. Kennedy
You guys really know how to do it.
Kevin Clancy
I'll tell you what, some of the.
John F. Kennedy
Biggest, biggest titties in Tampa shout out to Bert.
Kevin Clancy
There was the 5k that they put together. Jelly Roll said it best. He's like, you guys have put together this. This 5k for, like, the outcasts and the underdogs. And there's a lot of people who were like, yeah, I was fat, and now I'm getting in shape. There was also a bunch of sexy chicks that I was like, I bet. Are you for real?
Jackie
Like, yeah.
Kevin Clancy
People always say that about bar stool, like our parties, like, like girls like this. So I'm sure it's the same thing. But I was like, damn. Okay.
Jackie
All right.
John F. Kennedy
Well, I mean, they're just everywhere in Tampa and in Scottsdale, too. It's just. It's. It's one of those good markets. Yeah. Because that's. That's the best. That's why I went to Arizona State. Like I said, just the best thing about ASU is you fall into undeserved. You don't even have to. I didn't have game as a 19 year old. I'm saying I got the gift of gab now, but, like, you just stumble into like an 8 because they got to settle on something.
Jackie
It was. Dude. Because I went to fsu, that was one of my times living in Florida. And it was always like, what is that? Like, how did that happen? KD doing it? Because I was in a frat, and it was like all that mattered is what frat people are in. That's all that you care about. That's crazy.
Kevin Clancy
The bar was pretty low. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I. I also think that's not just the city thing, though. That's just the world. Like, when we. When we first started Barstool, we Used to do a post every day called the Local Smoke show of the Day. And it was like, this is a girl who lives in this in your city or goes to a school in your city. And they were regular girls, and they were like, like, so pretty. And I remember being like, I've never seen a girl like this in my life. Like, I can't believe this girl is not like a Hollywood star or a Runway model. Like, she's just a regular chick in college. And that was a part of the appeal of this, this running post that we did. And then, like, Instagram happened and it's like, oh, they're everywhere.
John F. Kennedy
They are everywhere.
Kevin Clancy
And I, I. It used to be like, I.
Jackie
But they're really not.
Kevin Clancy
Yes, but, but I'm saying that.
Jackie
And I mean, attractive people. I mean, people. I remember there was one time, I think Jackie and I had a video we were doing in fucking fishing. We did whatever, Louisiana.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah, right.
Jackie
And we were at the airport and Jackie was like, looking on her phone and she's like, I just feel like everyone has gotten so much hotter. And she was like, kind of just being like a young woman being like, everyone's so hot. And we were sitting in an airport terminal and I went, jackie, take your fucking head out of the. Look around.
John F. Kennedy
Right?
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
Oh, I was you in here. I would have asked too. The buddy.
John F. Kennedy
We're in a layover in De Mo.
Jackie
Look around the airport.
John F. Kennedy
Mud ducks and booga wolfs.
Kevin Clancy
You never even used to have the, like, you're right that it's not everywhere, but you never even used to have access to it. So the only people you saw that looked like that were like, Megan Fox, you know, and now in the regular world, it's still that way, but you have. I mean, there you'll find a random girl who has like 5 million followers and looks like, you know, she should be famous, but she hasn't even know that. Chicken.
Jackie
Yeah, all those followers. Because everyone's like, who the fuck is this? Like, what percentage do you think is. I don't, I don't even, I don't even want to say, like, crazy bananas hot. What percentage of the population is hot.
John F. Kennedy
Like, above, like, a seven or something? Sure, probably. Damn.
Kevin Clancy
10%.
John F. Kennedy
I was going to say. I was going to say. I was going to say 15. But you're right, it's probably not.
Kevin Clancy
I just try to think of it as a sample size. If, like, you walk into a room, you walk into a bar, and there's like 10 people, like, one of them is hot.
Jackie
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
There's like 100 people.
Jackie
I was gonna say sub five, I think. I think it's three to five.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
Is like, sounds like you're pretty picky. My father has said you walk into a bar with everybody below your standards. What do you. Do you lower your standards?
Jackie
I don't think people. I don't think a majority is ugly either. I just think most people just.
John F. Kennedy
But there is that classic cliche of like, there's like, I'm from Cincinnati. It's like there's Cincinnati hot and then there's LA hot. Right. And that is a real thing because you got to lower your standards in each of these markets. Also, when you go back to the Midwest, I fall in love with like a different type of chick. I'm in a relationship now, so I don't actually don't really fall in love with her. I love you, baby. She's Vietnamese. She will kill me. No, but like, like you, you, you lust after these chicks where you're like in Cincinnati, like, oh, this is great. She looks like she's got some sneaky tits under that flannel that she hasn't taken off since November. Like, you're like, there's probably a couple of extra lbs to like fuck around with, but you know, they're hot for Cincinnati.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
So I don't know. It varies everywhere. I'm also more open minded to it. Just being from the Midwest.
Jackie
I'm. I'm very open minded to. I've been like, I've been thinking about this recently. Just like I've been watching more movies and stuff and the more I watch Artist, the more I think like, yeah, it literally was fast five, dude. The best of those things actually. I don't know if Paslo did. Owen loved it. Oh, and loved it.
John F. Kennedy
That's the best of the movies.
Jackie
It's the peak of the five to seven is if you, if you're like, you will. If you want to understand the fast universe, five to seven, those are great.
Kevin Clancy
That's where it was.
Jackie
The bones were made. But like in just watching movies, I'm like, oh, these like. Because I. I had like actors on like this pedestal and most of them just look like a regular person.
John F. Kennedy
I mean, I'm out in la, I do run into some people and you are like, yeah, when. When you just see them eye to eye, it is crazy. I will say one person I saw that was like almost angelic, like a being of like some other level was I saw Kate Beckinsale face to face. And this was like also like Eight years ago. And I was like this.
Kevin Clancy
She, she's the one. She's always been the one. You know what she did is she kind of came down from like her pedestal with the commoners though. She was dating MGK and these people who are, are famous. But it was like you should be with like a tech billionaire and. Yeah, yeah, you know, she shouldn't be around with any of us.
John F. Kennedy
She was the only one that I've seen but like then I've seen also seen Gwyneth Paltrow, you know, not great anymore. Tough looking broad. She had a good run though.
Jackie
Rachel Bilson is the only person who's ever stopped me in my track.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah, there are some.
Jackie
I walked out and I just instantly. I, I didn't even know she was on a couch. I walked into a room and she was there and I didn't know who. I didn't clock her originally, but I was just like, I just saw the being and I was like, that person is a different breed than me. Well like that was. She's in the 3%.
John F. Kennedy
Yes.
Jackie
Other than just like the rest of us, I think there's 3% that are really hot, 3% that are disgusting and then everyone else is in the middle.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah. I mean I think also to your point, it has changed now because the algorithm will hit you. You could be in any town in America and if you post the right pictures, you're gonna blow up just because that's how dudes are. Just thirsty on that shit. So you can live wherever. Because when I like we were referencing, I went to Arizona State when I was 19 or 18 or whatever this is. Oh, five. Right. So like back then the algorithm didn't exist. So what I always knew was the five hottest chicks in every high school in America, one or two of them went to Arizona State.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
Before the algorithm, you're saying. So that was the collection of all. There were some of the worst people in the world at their core.
Kevin Clancy
Most vapid people, horrible people.
John F. Kennedy
But I mean just certified smokes.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, that's a different.
John F. Kennedy
I mean that is a different time.
Kevin Clancy
It's. But it's, it's, it's ever, it's like, it's men, women, it's jobs, money. It like these big cities will funnel more of that. You'll have more of that. Yeah, but I just think that, you know, you can find like the prettiest girl in the world in Milwaukee. It's just, I don't know. You didn't. She didn't get out or didn't Want to get out? You know the phrase get out is. I was like, I don't know. I have a nice job and a nice family in Milwaukee. I don't want to fucking.
John F. Kennedy
Well, one thing I know too, when you. When you move to LA or New York too, the city will you up too. So these. These more beautiful women that come there. I know that I got lucky because I met my girl within the first six months of her being in la. And I think about that because you don't know what that city will do to somebody.
Jackie
Somebody.
John F. Kennedy
It can turn you into the worst person. It could just turn you into just, I don't know, somebody that's miserable, you know, whatever.
Kevin Clancy
But, like, she should have given a few more months. You probably could have found something.
John F. Kennedy
Honestly.
Jackie
100.
John F. Kennedy
But she's stuck now. The boy's locked in.
Jackie
But.
John F. Kennedy
But yeah, she's just, you know, a regular chick that moved there that was beautiful and a dope ass chick and not tainted by the city yet.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
And so you got to find them early. He just moved from where? A regular town in America. I'm Mike. I put out.
Jackie
Turner's doing the gypsy Cabs. He's holding up an Uber thing like.
John F. Kennedy
The pimps in the 70s at Penn Station.
Jackie
All your records off, people.
John F. Kennedy
Oh, my God. I'll help you with your first apartment. You gotta do a little work now. You're gonna have to put a little work in now. Pimping is not easy. Do you ever watch that show the deuce the Dudes?
Kevin Clancy
Oh, yeah.
John F. Kennedy
That's like.
Jackie
I didn't ever watch it, but I know that was.
John F. Kennedy
I was like, oh, damn, they did do that, huh?
Kevin Clancy
That was real life.
John F. Kennedy
They got him.
Jackie
Was that with the dude from how you'll make your mother? Was he in that Josh Radner?
John F. Kennedy
I don't know, but I know Franco played two people. And what was the dude, the Wire dude? David Simon.
Jackie
Yeah, yeah. Franco's who I was thinking of. Not Josh Radner, but yes.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah. More problematic, man.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, the Deuce the Minx was another one.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah, that was actually a decent little show. It didn't last.
Jackie
Yeah, dude, I was watching. I was telling Kevin about this one the other day, but I was watching Ted 2 the other day. Like I said, I watched.
John F. Kennedy
I watched Ted too.
Jackie
I watched a lot of the class.
Kevin Clancy
I love Ted cinema.
John F. Kennedy
It's probably. It probably hits, right?
Jackie
Honestly, it hits really hard.
John F. Kennedy
It's like the same.
Jackie
Yeah, it's really funny. Yeah. But there's a scene in it where Ted and Mark Wahlberg break Into a house to get. They're trying. I think they're trying to get. Oh, they're trying to get. Ted's wife is trying to get pregnant. And so they break.
Kevin Clancy
Fictional.
John F. Kennedy
Animated.
Jackie
Yeah, yeah.
John F. Kennedy
His wife. I forgot he's married.
Jackie
Yeah. I had watched Ted 1 the night before, and if you forget the girl from the. That he works with, I love it.
John F. Kennedy
You're like, I don't want to miss any character development here. Any storylines. I can't.
Kevin Clancy
Guys, read the red threads.
John F. Kennedy
I had to watch 101 first.
Jackie
Yeah. You gotta catch up. But they're. They're married and they're trying to get sperm. Obviously, Ted doesn't have sperm.
John F. Kennedy
So they break into this house. Yes.
Jackie
And Tom Brady's in bed.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Jackie
And he freaks out. And then like the next scene after that is Wahlberg getting covered. And come. And it's all like. I was like, God, that's crazy that Brady did that. And then I realized that they called him a four time super bowl champion. And I was like, oh, my God. After Brady won this. After Brady did this, he won three more Super Bowls. That's not a move you do like when you're still in the middle of your career. I'm getting jerked off by covering.
Kevin Clancy
Wahlberg with my comms.
John F. Kennedy
My career, seven time super bowl champion doesn't get covered four time, though.
Jackie
You do that.
John F. Kennedy
Terry Bradshaw would have done it. We know that.
Jackie
Yeah. Terry Brad. You ever seen him naked? And failure to launch four time super bowl champion. Not a seven time super bowl champion.
Kevin Clancy
That's the barometer. That's.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah, that's the difference.
Jackie
Papa homes. Get your.
Kevin Clancy
Get your.
Jackie
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
Nobody wants to see your dick.
Kevin Clancy
Go do your dumb movie ROLES because after 5, 6, 7, you can't be doing that.
John F. Kennedy
Oh, my God.
Kevin Clancy
That is crazy, man.
John F. Kennedy
It's so. It's still insane. We always talk about his sports fans still. It's like that he has seven is insane. It's got to be the craziest thing.
Kevin Clancy
In Tampa Bay at the stadium. I'm looking at.
John F. Kennedy
I was at that game.
Kevin Clancy
I was looking at the boat, the cannons, just like, looking like. Just Tampa. And I was like, this was Tom Brady's. Like, dude, you know he built one of these.
John F. Kennedy
Tampa Bay.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
It was like they. I was at that super bowl again. I'm Tampa plus. Yeah, yeah, yeah. My best friend lives down there.
Jackie
That was a couple.
John F. Kennedy
It was the coven one. It was the weekend one too. It was weird, but, I mean, we just got bombed.
Jackie
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
We got so hammered. My buddy bought a mike allstad sign helmet and was wearing at the end of the night trying to hit himself.
Jackie
It was great.
John F. Kennedy
It was a special weekend, but it was also like. Also Covet didn't exist in Tampa, so it was cool, right? But yeah, that was a. It was. It was insane to see it. I didn't think it would happen. I remember betting on the Chiefs, but it was a good time.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. I mean, in hindsight, it's like, don't ever bet 100%.
John F. Kennedy
It was the stupidest bet in the world. You're like, why the Am I doing this right, folks?
Jackie
It's the foreplay. Guys. Let's talk Truly Unruly. When you spend every day following the countless laws of golf like us, it's refreshing to get a little unruly. Whether that means using the old hand wedge to. To escape the bunker or just cracking.
John F. Kennedy
Open a hard seltzer that breaks all.
Jackie
The rules, few things feel better.
Kevin Clancy
Truly Unruly is the first high alk.
John F. Kennedy
Seltzer that actually tastes good.
Jackie
It's hard hitting, but still light and.
John F. Kennedy
Refreshing, making it perfect for everything from.
Jackie
The front nine to the clubhouse. Find it near you at trulyhardceltzer.com locations. That's trulyhardselter.com locations. Hard Seltzer Beverage Company Boston, Massachusetts. Please drink responsibly.
John F. Kennedy
But yeah, super bowl you've been to. You guys been to Super Bowls? Now with the.
Jackie
I've been to a couple.
Kevin Clancy
I've been to the game we always go to.
John F. Kennedy
I go to the. I've gone to two. Fortunately. I got. I got into that one. And then the next year the Bengals were in it in la.
Jackie
Oh, right, right.
John F. Kennedy
And I got. I. I'm a. I'm a finesse champ. I get. I find a way. I put the feelers out there and I got, I got into that.
Jackie
Dude, the super bowl is like admit I've never gone unless it was a Pats game because like Kevin said, we go down and then usually if it's not Pats, get the out of town.
John F. Kennedy
Right.
Jackie
It is really cool. I had always thought of it and, and it is accurate, an accurate description of just like it's very corporate and a lot of the people there aren't actually fans, but there are way more fans than I actually expect than I expected that part.
John F. Kennedy
But it is, it isn't a real. I'd rather go to having been to like an AFC championship game and a Super Bowl. The AFC Championship game is cool. I went to Arrowhead. I got. I've seen the Bengals lose twice in person in Horrible fashion. The super bowl and then the next year the AFC championship game when the.
Jackie
Flight gate game is the best game I ever been to.
John F. Kennedy
Really.
Jackie
AFC championship game.
John F. Kennedy
It'd be, it'd be fun to see a W in a big game but like it is dope as fuck. Yeah, but the AFC championship, NFC championship. Those vibes are like, yeah, this is crazy.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
I did a, I filmed outside of the NFC championship this year with Philly Commanders game. I've also never seen any group of people more rude and disrespectful to people than after the commanders lost. And you're just like, dude, just let them be.
Kevin Clancy
This is the first time they've been.
John F. Kennedy
Slightly happy for 25, 30 years.
Jackie
They're walking out celebrating.
John F. Kennedy
They were so disrespectful to these dudes. And this 18 year old kids.
Kevin Clancy
Billy earns their, their reputation, man.
John F. Kennedy
Oh my God.
Kevin Clancy
I don't know why like the, the people who still don't embrace it like fight it. It's like, yo, if you just are who you are, accept it. I think you don't personally go out there and like spit on people and fight them. I get that. I'm not saying you all do that as a whole we're going to describe you as that because it always happens.
John F. Kennedy
Oh, some of the I felt bad. I'm. And I'm like, I'm AFC north dude. Steelers, Ravens, Browns. We say some up to each other and rightfully so. I mean the Browns got desean. Most of the, most of the other teams in the division have all had at least accused rape. I'm saying. So they're easy.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
There's two girls in Rural Dreams Georgia that still said no to Ben Rollins. But the, it was crazy. I felt, I've never felt bad for people more than that. I was like, damn, dude. This kid.
Jackie
I don't see you as a guy who starts feeling bad dude often.
John F. Kennedy
So I knew, I'm telling you. Yeah, it was horrible.
Kevin Clancy
Like I don't like we cheered that like one time. It's like, okay, fine. Yeah, you were nice to your team like once. The rest of the time you're like spitting on people.
John F. Kennedy
Levels of things they said about like these people's families and mothers, you're just like this, but congrats on your Super Bowl.
Kevin Clancy
I went the, the Super Bowl I did go to. I, I, it was early barstool and I got plugged in with this guy who flew us out. He was like, you want to fly? We'll take a private flight to the Super Bowl. And I thought he meant like, we're going to hop on a PJ. He rented like a 747.
John F. Kennedy
Oh, damn.
Kevin Clancy
It was like, there was like a hundred plus people on this plane that he just took a bunch of like Wall street bankers and a bunch of like. It was just a.
John F. Kennedy
Which is kind of weird. You're still flying coach.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, it was.
John F. Kennedy
You're just like, still kind of crazy.
Kevin Clancy
It was one of the craziest experience of my life. I. We show up, we flew in, landed, went to the game, flew out all in like a. Like a. You know, it was in Indianapolis, so it was probably like a six or seven hour thing, like total.
John F. Kennedy
Which game was it?
Kevin Clancy
This was the second Pats Giants.
John F. Kennedy
Oh, damn.
Kevin Clancy
And so it was awesome. But we got on the plane and people were so up.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And there were these two brothers who were. These two Irish guys who were. They must have been from Philly. They were the most disrespectful people I've ever seen in my life. And they were. There was flight attendants who were like. I don't even know what. How this works because they were like flight attendants. But it was a private chartered thing. I don't know where these girls came from, but these guys, it was like straight mad men. They were like, how about you go get me a drink? I'm like, I remember this one guy telling this flight attendant to open up her clamor. And I was like, oh, my God. And I. And I remember this. The. The chick, one of the flight attendants hopped on like the phone and was like, contrary to popular belief, this is still an airplane.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And there are rules, like, where you need to behave like humans in order to get this flight off. And I remember there was a, like a MSNBC anchor who was a part of all this. And she just clocked this guy right in the face.
John F. Kennedy
Really Clamboy.
Kevin Clancy
Very end. It was getting on the plane to fly back. So by then it was after a Super bowl, drinking the whole night. And she just put a.
Jackie
An MSNBC anchor punch a dude in the face.
Kevin Clancy
I don't want to give names, bro.
John F. Kennedy
I didn't shout out to Rachel Maddow. That's a tough.
Jackie
Until you give a name. It was mad.
John F. Kennedy
No questions asked.
Kevin Clancy
It might be cnbc.
Jackie
I don't want to.
Kevin Clancy
She.
Jackie
Bam.
Kevin Clancy
But it was like. It was like being on the plane with like the 86 Mets was like food flying, drinks flying. No. You know, it was crazy.
John F. Kennedy
That's so first of all, Yeah. I say some of the most Vulgar, like, of anybody that I know. And clam still makes me uncomfortable.
Jackie
Yeah, there's no. There's no certain words. Vaginas or vaginas or pussies. Anything else, like, just vulgar shit.
John F. Kennedy
Sometimes you're like, bro, bro.
Kevin Clancy
Ax wound.
Jackie
Yeah, dude.
Kevin Clancy
All those phrases. If you use those, it's tough. I almost feel like cut has become like, more regular.
John F. Kennedy
Gun is. Is nice. The British have really.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
Shown us how to do it. I think they've shown us how to make it nice.
Jackie
You got to tip a cap to the British because. Because they could have. They could have bent the knee. They could have been like, all right, the whole world's not saying it. We'll stop saying it.
Kevin Clancy
They power through.
Jackie
No, it's our cultural thing. We say cunt. Right.
John F. Kennedy
We're the second Empire. Let us have fun. You guys won the world.
Jackie
We'll drop fags and cigarettes, but we're keeping coming.
John F. Kennedy
That was actually.
Kevin Clancy
That was actually pretty ridiculous when you think of the two main slang words. Yeah. The most offensive words that was in the.
John F. Kennedy
I was in the L in the Revolutionary War. It was like, we're Cuban. Cunt.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. You can have the.
John F. Kennedy
You know, take the country, but take the colonies.
Kevin Clancy
We will still be saying that.
John F. Kennedy
We're taking cunt.
Jackie
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
That's good.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. So you're in Arizona now, so.
John F. Kennedy
No, I'm LA in LA now.
Kevin Clancy
Right.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah. So Cincy born and raised. ASU went hard as fuck. Are you gonna start comedy? I like it. It's. It's funny. I oftentimes think about New York just because comedy. I mean, to your point, also, like, earlier with, like, comedy kind of being.
Kevin Clancy
A lot and then la. You're not coming to New York.
John F. Kennedy
I know. Because I don't fuck with winner. I like, even the winners are doing a little bit more mid now. They're a little bit more tolerable. But, dude, I love. It is funny. There's a lot of. To be talked about LA, but, like, when I go back, it'll be 72. It'll be whatever. The most comfortable number you can think of.
Kevin Clancy
It's that outside you're not. You're cooked.
John F. Kennedy
October is soft, bro.
Kevin Clancy
You were once Midwest strong, and then you slowly went west. And now, like, the only thing that is, like, Hawaii's next. That's it. I would love that.
John F. Kennedy
I've been a couple times. But no, I like. I do like it out there, but I also do hold on to the Midwest. I do think I cut through. I've done really well in LA. I moved there in 2020. I moved to the day Kobe died. Which is a crazy day to move there. And then I've been there through Covid. But like that Midwest work ethic never goes anywhere. And it does. You can. You can hustle. LA is a funky hustle. I don't know how to really compare it to anything else. It's like information in New York will punch you in the face. Information in la. You'll catch up to it six months later and realize people have been talking behind your back and you're like, what the is this? And it hits you differently. But I've. It's hardened me in a lot of different ways. And the Midwest hustle is. It shines through. I can out hustle that. Think they're doing it.
Jackie
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
But it's a lot of rubbing elbows. There's a lot of kissing ass. And I don't with that.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
But I think my realness cuts through in a better way. So.
Kevin Clancy
Right.
John F. Kennedy
It's. It's worked for me. And also. Yeah. I don't know if I could go back to the east coast time zone. What the is going on with these sports? Like I can't. I don't. Are you.
Kevin Clancy
What the going on with yours? You gotta wake up at like 9am Dog.
John F. Kennedy
Are you kidding me? Monday Night Football is done at 8:30. What are we doing? That's great. That's great. And we're grown men. Wake up at 8:30, get some job in sneak a jo and get ready. Dude. I'm betting on the or. Morning shits are like, dude, what's the fantasy lineup and what are the parlays for the 10am kick?
Kevin Clancy
Too. Too early. I agree. Late games get tough. Like championship games starting at like 9:30. Crazy. But early, early, early starts like like a big game. You need to have the right vibe and moment. I've completely come time games.
John F. Kennedy
I would never move.
Kevin Clancy
That's basically watching like a playoff baseball game at 4pm is insane.
John F. Kennedy
Bro.
Jackie
We just. We just did. I did it Monday night.
John F. Kennedy
What'd you think?
Jackie
It was awful.
John F. Kennedy
You didn't like it?
Jackie
We were watching Celtics, Knicks in the sunlight outside.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, the sun.
Jackie
I love it. No, that's a prime time.
John F. Kennedy
You getting happy.
Kevin Clancy
See, that's happy hour price. You guys are worried about happy hour and sunshine. We're like, it's nighttime and it's ready. We're ready to die.
Jackie
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
That's also the biggest realization I had when I went to asu and I. I obviously come from Cincy. I'm I hate Ohio State. But some homies that went to Ohio State, whatever. I'm from Cincy. All that.
Jackie
But.
John F. Kennedy
But, like, they care so much, and they're like, well, you guys don't even have a fan base. It's like, yeah, dog. Because when we lose, it's still 80 degrees outside.
Kevin Clancy
That's what.
John F. Kennedy
I might still go to the ground and get a blower before sun goes down.
Jackie
My. With us, we're doing living, die.
Kevin Clancy
That's all we got. That's all you got.
Jackie
I'm gonna go to bed at 1:00am either. Mm.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
Jackie
And I'm just gonna let it continue to sink down deeper.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Jackie
I'll wake up in a bad mood, and I won't be able to put myself.
John F. Kennedy
So we can immediately. We can immediately drink it away. It's actually kind of nice.
Kevin Clancy
So you're telling me, like, let's say you're a Yankees fan on the West coast in 2004.
John F. Kennedy
Okay.
Kevin Clancy
And you have blown three games in a row. It is now game seven of the ALCS. And you've got to watch that in the afternoon. You've got to worry about, like. Like, sneaking out of your job to go watch whether your team collapses and is the most embarrassing thing ever or fends them off and goes to the World Series. And you're doing that at 4pm that's fair.
John F. Kennedy
I would say. On the. On the back end of it, the best thing is it's 7pm when you catch that L. And you can drink it all away with the boys. Because I. I'll never forget the lowest. The lowest point in my. In my 20s was. It was. First of all, I've had some probably lower points. I had a close friend died. 21. But it's like. But the lowest point. But the Bangles Bengals were on a night. It was one of those nice Marvin years with Dalton and A.J. green, like, 11 and 5. But I think we did win the division. But it was like. You probably don't remember, but, like, let's say week 16, 17, like, we had A.J. green injury. I believe, like, whoever our running back was at the time was out. So we went from, like, winning the division to having good momentum to having, like, a depleted offense, and. And you're completely overmatched by whoever you're playing. Andrew Luck. Early Andrew Luck, and we lose the Colts in the first round of it. In a year where you were like, yo, five weeks ago, I think we could have won the fucking afc.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
And it was also the same day that Stuart Scott had Died and we lost. We caught that L to the colts by like 2pm and I was able to drink so heavily to get through that loss. My boys still tell me it was the drunkest I ever was. I was like, I. Because we, you know, you've also RIP Stu Scott, but secondly, you're, like, able to just get blackout drunk. Yeah, sure, the sun's out, but, like, you. If you want it to get dark, there's a strip club down the street. You're gonna feel a little better. And I did feel better about things. And you do. Like, I. I got through a lot of dark, dark between like, 4pm and 10pm The Vontes Burfig Pittsburgh collapse happened at like, 7pm so weird to me. And I was in a Vontes Burfect jersey. I almost got in a fight with the Steelers fan a little bit after that, but I did drink it away.
Jackie
And I bounced back the dream way does. I remember 07 Super Bowl. Pat's Giants won. And I was at FSU at the time.
John F. Kennedy
Wasn't that in Arizona, too?
Jackie
Yes, I think so. Yeah. But I was at fsu, so I was in Tallahassee, and I was at, like, you know, everyone hated the Patriots, so, like, there wasn't a welcome party I could go to. So I went to just my buddy's party and sat on the couch. I was the only person who, like, really cared about the game. And I was just sitting on the couch like a 12 pack right here, right in front of the TV. And I remember once that ball went through, not through Moss's fingertips, but right in front of his outstretched hands, I just got up and it was like. It was like out of a movie where, like, once that ball went through his hands, the party went nuts. Like, everyone's spraying stuff. People jumped over each other. And I, like, didn't. I was very smooth, just got up, grabbed the 12 pack between my legs, and just started walking the streets of Tallahassee like, like, like, like a drifter. Like, I was just walking the streets of Tallahassee, 12 pack in my hand, drinking a beer, throwing it into someone's yard, just, like, walking around just, like, praying it would start raining like I.
John F. Kennedy
Deserve Eeyore on the way home. Speaking of another low point that it's speaking, like, of LA, too, and the softness walking out of that LA SoFi Stadium after the Rams had beat the Bengals in the Super Bowl. And I just. That was the time where I remembered how Rams fans and LA fans are so soft because all I wanted to do was, like, Getting a. Not. Maybe not a physical altercation, but I wanted to talk some to a Rams fan. And what you realize is all these are some of the soft people in the world. They were coming up to me, like, really fun game. Like, shut the up. They're like, what. What a fun day. You ever been to the stadium here? I'm like, get the. Out of my face.
Kevin Clancy
I remember we.
Jackie
You see Rob Low. Was he.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah, like, what the. The was great.
Kevin Clancy
Mets, Cubs, nlcs. When the Cubs were like, great. It was the year before they ended up winning the World Series. So they were the heavy favorite. Mets came out of nowhere. And I was like, nice little first round win, but we're going to get smoked in the nlcs. And we swept them. And I was at game four in Wrigley and. Or maybe game three, but it was game three because I was at home, so. But it was like three, zero, you know, it's over.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And we walked out of Wrigley and everyone was like, we did karaoke. They're drinking Wrigleyville. And I remember being like. I was kind of like, I could keep a low profile here. Like, I don't want to get. I'm not gonna get beat up. And everyone was just like, where are we going? I was like, aren't you guys going to, like, the cemetery? Aren't you, like, gonna kill yourself right now? It's just because they drank it away.
John F. Kennedy
That's why Wrigleyville is great, because they know that the sorrow outside is just drowned away with the booze. It's great. I do. Like, I. I talk about Cubs fans a lot because they're mostly. They're mostly mediocre baseball fans. A lot of them, I've gone like, I'm Cincy. So they would come down and watch a lot of games and Cincy when the Cubs would be in town. And like, I would hate on them because it's like, yo, it's a pop flight of left. You thought that was a home run. Those types of fans were like, shut the up. You ever been in these? But they are kind of.
Kevin Clancy
They're fun.
John F. Kennedy
They're fun. They're. They're harmless.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
I'm happy.
Kevin Clancy
They want to one claim to be the thing you're not. Fine. Whatever.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Jackie
That's something I've always had to defend. Because once your teams get good. Yes. The fan base grows. And some of the fans suck.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Jackie
But for like 20 years, it was like Boston, like Red Sox fans, pink hats and all that stuff. Like, yeah. I don't know everyone's not a Die Hard. They're good. So like people are happy to come on board. If you're a bad franchise, you'll never have bandwagon. That's why I love good teams.
Kevin Clancy
There's a good thing.
John F. Kennedy
I do appreciate being a Bengals and Reds fan. Like I have been my whole life. And Bearcats because Reds fan, bro.
Jackie
My whole life. Thank God for Joey Voto.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, we're gonna do it.
Jackie
We're gonna do a lot here today.
John F. Kennedy
We're not gonna talk about Joey.
Jackie
Look, I like Joey.
John F. Kennedy
Joseph Daniel Bottle will not be disgraced.
Jackie
I'm honestly, I'm a Joey Votto fan. He seems really funny.
Kevin Clancy
Of all time.
Jackie
I'm really happy I had David Ortiz. Not him, him.
John F. Kennedy
No, we were bad because of a.
Jackie
Lot of different things.
John F. Kennedy
We also ran into like Cliff Lee and the Phillies one year we had such a good team. We had like 2010 to 2013. We had the Brandon Phillips year and we literally ran into like Roy Holiday. Perfect game and like something. It was like Jesus christ. We were up 20 against the giants. And when it was a five game series and you'd play two on the road and then come home for three, we go to San Francisco, win two and we lose three games in Cincinnati because Roland can't get a. Why are we bringing up old. What I'm saying is, what I'm saying is the bank being a Bengals, Reds fan, even Bearcats too, is that when it pops off, when it happens, it's going to be. The fan base is going to be so like it might grow then, but we deserve nice things. Like the people that are really there riding will be so it makes it sweeter.
Kevin Clancy
It makes dope.
John F. Kennedy
But it.
Kevin Clancy
But I'm so sick of hearing that, man. People keep saying that when, when you finally do win, it's going to mean so much.
John F. Kennedy
I'm like, well what you're talking as a Mets fan. Yeah, yeah, it's tough.
Jackie
It's like people who try and use it to. As an excuse to trade franchises or change franchises. I think that's crazy. But I think what like I would.
John F. Kennedy
Want to trade if you're like, like.
Jackie
Like if you're like a Mets fan.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Jackie
We're never gonna win. I'm gonna become a. Oh no, you couldn't.
John F. Kennedy
Right?
Jackie
But if you give I. I give my franchises less attention when they're not trying. I, I will. I would never trade or something. I don't let them.
Kevin Clancy
I don't know. It's about take picking A new one. Like, if you said to me, like, I know people, old people who are like, I was a Brooklyn Dodgers fan, they left. I'm out. I'm no fan. And even then, you probably have more of a right. You, you know, the team left, you know.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
And. And when the Mets had bad ownership, I remember being like, I'm done with them. That I will tolerate. No, but it's the picking up of another team. You don't live there. You don't go there. You're not. It's not.
John F. Kennedy
You decide how you interact with the team, but that's still your team. Yeah, because I know it's like any.
Jackie
Relationship, if you're not fucking trying, I'm not going to try. Like, dude, when the Bruins sold the deadline, I watched four games after the.
Kevin Clancy
Deadline, but we're still married.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah. You know, when the Bengals had, like, the Bengals had a couple of zero and eight starts in my life at least multiple times. And I'm like, my. As I grew older, I remember being like, my brother would be like, yo, we, we got to go watch the game. It's what I'm like, Doug, I'm not letting them hurt me.
Jackie
Right.
John F. Kennedy
I can't. It's abusive. I cannot let them continue to do this to me.
Kevin Clancy
And I reached my absolute. I was on the verge. And then Cohen bought the Mets. And like, that's the only thing that if that didn't happen, I would probably be out by now. Jackpocket is America's number one lottery app.

John F. Kennedy
It is funny because I know it's. It's easy to on like Reds, Bangles, Bearcat. But like dude, jets, mats guys are.
Kevin Clancy
I don't know the reason I on them. It's like, it's like again fat people like. Like I'm one of you. You know what I mean?
John F. Kennedy
It's.
Jackie
It's.
Kevin Clancy
I always argue it's worse because in smaller cities you win together and you lose together.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
When my teams, I have right across town, I have dynasties. Giants winning. Giants have been bad for a while now, but they had Super Bowls, Yankees and you know, there, there's the halves and the have nots. So it's like not only do we suck, but we have an example right across town of the right way to do it. Yeah. With the money and the resources and all the things we could have and we're just not doing it. And when you win 70, 60, 70 of the city still shits on you. So we've got it like coming from all angles. Whereas in Minnesota you're all happy together, you all lose together.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah. And since we even we get. You go to Kentucky. They're mourning our losses there too.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
We're like, let's go. You guys are sad too. You got a casino basketball. So since. Oh. So then. So the only teams I adopted outside of Cincy was when I went to Phoenix, obviously. Sun Devils, Hardcore. Which is dope. Last year saw them win the Big 12 championship. And then so I went 05. I moved there and Nash got there like either 0405 fun. I just saw him in Arcadia too.
Jackie
And I was like, I saw him.
John F. Kennedy
Did you see him for the. Did he come out?
Jackie
Yeah, he's.
John F. Kennedy
He's. I saw him like two weeks ago at my brother's bar. And dude, I was like, I was cool the whole time but my girl was with me and I was like, baby, that's that guy that I. I told you about it. My favorite honky ever.
Kevin Clancy
And dude, the all time great whites.
Jackie
Yeah, you just like honestly Canadian whites, dude.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
100 Joseph Daniel, bottom Steven. They've done well by me. And dude, I did play it cool. But I. I had to say something because I was like, yo, man. I mean some of my. That's what sucks is I'm Cincy As. As. But like some of my happiest memories have been actually Steve Nash and the sun.
Kevin Clancy
They didn't run into, you know, Shaq and the Lakers. They probably wouldn't Chip.
John F. Kennedy
Or if they didn't. Or if Steve Nash didn't get run into by Robert or with a hip check. And all of a sudden two guys are coming off the bench. They suspend them. Game 6.
Jackie
What the is going on again?
John F. Kennedy
That pisses me off, dude. Oh, seven Spurs. You dude also Popovich, you're a great coach, but you enjoy your retirement. First of all, not a retirement. He has to be president.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Taking on more responsibility.
John F. Kennedy
But no, those Suns teams were so fun.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah, Mari.
John F. Kennedy
It was such pure joy.
Kevin Clancy
And then it's funny Marion.
John F. Kennedy
And then you look at it now. Yeah. Mar. Like early Q Rich like was popping off. Jason Richardson was popping off on those teams. And then I think one of them banged Nash's wife. Barbosa. I think Nash's kid.
Jackie
That's the rumor with every tra. Like, like the same thing happened.
John F. Kennedy
That's a fun one. They divorced like six months later and Barbosa got traded.
Jackie
There's some tea leaves.
John F. Kennedy
There's some tea leaves on that one where I can connect the dots.
Jackie
It was Tony Parker with the Spurs. Right.
John F. Kennedy
Tony Parker. And.
Kevin Clancy
And then before that it was. It was Jason Kidd, Jim Jackson and Jamal Mashburn back in the early Mavs days.
John F. Kennedy
And then, and then by the way.
Kevin Clancy
Those are rumors but like NBA players are. And I don't doubt that that's happened.
John F. Kennedy
West banged his mom, but that's the best. The best one.
Jackie
Yes. They're. They're have greater sexual exploits than us. But like it's a job. Like can you imagine it just at your work?
Kevin Clancy
I think it's more the women. I think there are women who are plugged into that scene and they're like, I'll this one or that one or that.
John F. Kennedy
And I think they then they also misread value where she probably was like, yo, Barbosa's kind of on the come up.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. She doesn't understand that Steve Nashley.
John F. Kennedy
She didn't see the 2010 Suns run to the Western Conference finals ahead of her shout out to Nash. But some of my happiest memories. Yeah. So that's the only two teams I I rock with outside of that is Sun Devils. Obviously. I got to be. I was there at James Harden. Those. Those years were dope. And then I also will say is.
Kevin Clancy
Less clutch than James.
John F. Kennedy
Dude, nobody has disappointed me ever. I've never been more ashamed of being associated with somebody at their college.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
My guy to turn into a pro and I'm actually out on him completely. I mean that's the anti. Whatever he does is the exact opposite of how I think people should play basketball. And I get that he'll be. He'll be a Hall of Famer. He'll be one of the great.
Kevin Clancy
He changed the game like the most Jordan Shaq like a bunch of the main greats. He changed the game probably just as.
John F. Kennedy
Much as those guys in the worst way.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. I. Dude, I saw a statue. He has 55 playoff games with four or less field goals.
Jackie
What?
John F. Kennedy
That is crazy.
Jackie
55.
Kevin Clancy
A lot of duds.
John F. Kennedy
It's crazy when you see the line because the other game was what nine point games was it game seven was like nine points or seven points.
Kevin Clancy
Terrible. Game seven is just like his because.
John F. Kennedy
If it was like 18 points, you're not even. You're a little pissed off still.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah. But like these are single digits disappearing games.
Jackie
That actually shocks me too. Just because like I don't think of James Harden as someone who would get scared of the bright lights because I don't think he's even like acknowled.
Kevin Clancy
Like almost like Kanye in a way. Like he's like a bug. But I think he's.
John F. Kennedy
But he seems like a dude that's calm collect. But then he's too calm in those moments that.
Kevin Clancy
That. Yeah, that's the thing that stays the same.
John F. Kennedy
Because I was a. I'm a. And I'm sure we're kind of all same age range. Like I was AI was like my first love. And then I did I. I used to hate Kobe just because I hated that. That Lakers early 2000s run. And then you're like I love this guy.
Jackie
Oh yeah.
John F. Kennedy
I was a Russell Westbrook after Eagle Colorado. Come on.
Jackie
And then you got it just did.
John F. Kennedy
You eight different guys DNA in that panty line. What are we talking about?
Jackie
About.
John F. Kennedy
But. And then Kobe and then Russ. I was a big. I'm still a big Russ guy actually. I still like have love for that dude too. Yeah. But like those guys that are just.
Jackie
Like, all out, like, recent quote where he was like, my job is just to create like a storm or whatever.
John F. Kennedy
He said he finally figured out to be a role player.
Jackie
Yeah, yeah.
Kevin Clancy
It took transition 17 years. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
John F. Kennedy
But those cats are always my love, dude. And. And that's. And then James Harden is the exact opposite of that. Meanwhile, I talk all this about James Harden. If he was in the same room as me, I'd be like, oh, my God, he prob. The same broads shout out to you. Definitely not.
Kevin Clancy
I. I saw Melo was telling a story the other day about how much Kobe hated JJ Redic because on the Olympic team, Coach K kept being like, JJ does this and JJ does that. We need to be more like jj. So then I guess when he was on the team or practicing or something, they were in practice, I think, for the Olympics, and Kobe wouldn't let J.J. redick score and was like, busting his ass. And. And he said. Mello said that he was like, why is Kobe being so mean? And Kobe would be like, J.J. redick.
John F. Kennedy
I hate that we won't get the. Obviously it was a Bulls documentary, but it was. It was a Michael Jordan documentary. That 10 part or whatever it was. I hate that we won't get that Kobe perspective other than the interviews we already have, because he was that. You know, that line of like. And that. I took that personally. Yeah. MJ thing. The Kobe line of that would have been so much more, like, psychotic.
Jackie
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
I would have loved to see that.
Kevin Clancy
I wanted to ruin him. There's a story of, like, a. A trainer who Kobe would make like, like shooting free throws or something. Right. And this guy was rebounding for him, and Kobe would, like, make him run to the other baseline and come down and then pass in the ball. And he just made like, this guy run sprints or something like that. And people were like, like, yeah, what a competitor. He's just being an. To some, like, minimum wage, like, you know, locker room attendant.
Jackie
What do you.
Kevin Clancy
Why does this have to do with competition?
John F. Kennedy
I love it all, you know.
Kevin Clancy
It'S funny, man. So what. What's. What's. So. Just killing the LA comedy scene.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
You're gonna move to New York? You're not gonna.
John F. Kennedy
Oh, yeah, maybe. I don't know. I think about it. I. I would. I definitely, comedy wise, I would love to just the stage time here. And I also do think I have more like. Like, I don't know, more of an east coast type comic the way that I am on Stage, like that's. But again, I kind of stand out in LA because I'm a little different than most of these. And I'll walk off stage sometimes. Like, I'll do a show in Venice. I was running the 10 minutes for a big taping I did. You'll see it at some point this summer. You guys know, don't tell comedy. Yeah, I did a 12 minute or 1012 minute special for them that'll be dropping at some point. And I'm running that set in Venice at this. This room that's probably, you know, it's. A lot of it ended up being like, I don't know, there's like eight to ten just lesbians throughout. Whatever. I don't. I know. I knew that because two comics before me were both lesbians. So they're talking, I went up there and I ate a dick with this polished set for like 10 to 12 minutes. And I'm able to know enough about LA and my comedy to walk off that stage and be like, like, that's gonna kill when I tap it in Columbus, Ohio. Because, like, these don't know what the.
Jackie
They'Re talking about, right?
John F. Kennedy
They. Sometimes they hate me in la. Yeah, they really hate me. But I've. I've gotten to a point where I understand that, hey, when they really don't like what I'm saying, that actually means it's gonna kill. You know what I'm saying? The Midwest, I'm like, it's gonna crush. They might raise me out of Kalamazoo, Michigan, as the mayor, you know what I'm saying?
Kevin Clancy
Like, so gotta know your audience. It's.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah, but, yeah, no, and no, no, the reactions and. But yeah, LA has been good. And then I do the thing every. The last two years, because I think the last time I was here, I was just starting it, but I started a comedy tour every football season where I go to every Bengals road game. I do a show the night before and then I'll do the tailgate and do man on the street. And then so I'll do every Bengals road game and then I'll also do probably like five, six games outside of that. So last year I went to Philly a couple times.
Jackie
What are the crowd like? Are they like, did the crowd for your show the night before the game, is it largely Cincy fans still growing? It.
John F. Kennedy
It is a lot of Bengals fans that are on the road of the game. But then also, like, the nice thing is when I go to these road games and do the tailgates, I'm Actually with these fan bases more so like those fan base. I'm not like being an either. I, I am but like in a way that a fan would be an. Right. I'm bringing up the fact that Ray Lewis definitely, if he didn't kill him, knows who killed those two people. I'm saying we're going to talk about that.
Kevin Clancy
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
And so that I do get the, the football fan bases but also like, like I'm popping in comedy. I. In comedy these days, you got to hit the, throw the spaghetti against the wall as much as you can. I do stand up clips. I do the man on the Street. I do walk and talk videos where I'm talking, you know. So however the audience finds me, those, those audiences are football based a lot of the times. But you know, sometimes it's just people that found me through stand up, whatever like that. So that's dope. It's nice and diverse. I can get my football off though if I want to do those jokes. But I can also do whatever.
Kevin Clancy
That's great.
John F. Kennedy
So it's been fun. And then, and then I'll do just cool. Like I went to the NFL draft a couple like recently. So it's good to you know, stay.
Kevin Clancy
Plugged in in sports. Like you have your comedy thing with sports is a, you know, get some of that gambling money, get some of that, that, that fan base. Do what you diversification.
John F. Kennedy
You guys know it though. It's like what I looked at it like a couple years ago. I was like, yo, what do I love? I'm. I love comedy. What are the other things I love that I can die and gram it and like sports. I love talking and I, and I know sports well enough to talk. I go to, I did Madison Square Garden a couple years ago for the Knicks game. Like I'll just go pull up with a camera and a mic, see what the happens.
Kevin Clancy
Right.
John F. Kennedy
And I'm not trying to be the dude that's like putting a microphone in front of you and being like, you say something dumb. Yeah, yeah, I'm actually doing whatever. Yeah, I'm gonna cut into it too and, and start some. So like went to the NFL draft in Green Bay. I just tried to find a sober packers fan for like an hour. Didn't. I did find a 12 year old and he was on his father's shoulders and he's like, I am sober.
Jackie
I was watching that draft. I, I can't imagine like what. Paint me the scene, dude.
John F. Kennedy
What's the draft guy?
Jackie
What's the draft like, dude?
Kevin Clancy
Going, going to the draft.
John F. Kennedy
It used to be in New York. It is insane. I was thinking about that too.
Kevin Clancy
You're just going to watch names be called out for some reason.
Jackie
I watched like the fourth round.
John F. Kennedy
It is the saddest version of, of a 45 year old football fan with his 12 friends that are traveling in to watch young 20 year old black men get drafted by 80 year old white men. It's weird.
Kevin Clancy
And, and you scream and yell and you don't know whether it's gonna be a bust or a hit. You're just reacting based on whatever Mel Kiper says and like you have no idea.
John F. Kennedy
I hate, I hate overreaction guy on NFL draft day too because like the Bengals drafted this dude that had four and a half sacks. It was SEC defensive end Shamar. Switch it. I don't know any big about this guy, dude. Everybody's mad.
Kevin Clancy
I'm like, this guy looks like a guy. He's the one and then he's the bus. And it's like now you're the ass.
John F. Kennedy
It's like, dude, just chill. Yeah, just chill.
Jackie
I, I said that recently that like I've realized with my sports fan, like I watch, I like watching the sports. I don't care about like yes. Projecting where this guy's gonna be. His trade was smart. No one knows. I don't know. Let's go play the game and figure it out.
John F. Kennedy
They act like there's a bunch of evidence that you can take and predict it. It's like, no, there's more evidence to prove that you're wrong. We all don't know what the we're talking about. Just let this happen. Hopeful, good coaching.
Jackie
Yeah.
John F. Kennedy
But like the draft in general was weird. I like that they've done. I never went when it was in New York. I bet that was a thing. I don't know. I think it's weird still. But at least you're going to New York. You can be like, yo, let's go to New York City, make a weekend. Now they're going to these. Wisconsin is like, it was bizarre, dude. Luckily I was in Green Bay and I got a homie from Milwaukee.
Jackie
We were.
John F. Kennedy
You need like two people to be plugged into the whole scene there. Yeah, I knew the two guys. So like it was fun. End of the night, we were just getting bombed at this bar, 335. You ever in Green Bay? Great spot. And then like we were, we were plugged into the social scene. Well enough where the nights were fun, but I could see that being a Very sad weekend. If you were just like, dude, I was gonna.
Jackie
I was saying. I think the episode after the draft, I was saying to Jackie and Pavs that, like, it's gonna change our standing in the world where we're after the trash. Because again, I watched, like, the third or fourth round. I forget which round. And you watched the third.
John F. Kennedy
It was like, I had already left Green Bay, bro.
Jackie
It's how I actually liked watch Draft. Like, my uncle would have a draft party when I was a kid, and I would go. Because it was only.
John F. Kennedy
Sounds like you have trauma.
Jackie
It was on Saturdays.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Jackie
It wasn't like a Thursday night event. Friday night fair. It was a Saturday. It was like, what? You just kind of watch, like, midday as you're kind of mulling around. And so I still like watching the afternoon on the weekend. And so I had, like, the Saturday. What? Again? Whatever round it was. And it was the round where they had the international fans reading the pick.
John F. Kennedy
Oh, yeah.
Jackie
And I was just watching, like, these dudes from Germany and Peru and Brazil get up there there and not be so excited to announce their pick.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Jackie
But then I was thinking about, like, what does someone from Peru think? They're like. They're telling their friends, like, I'm going to America.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah.
Jackie
That's a NFL pick. And they're like, holy, that's gonna be insane. And they get off the plane in Green Bay, and they're gonna go back home and be like, everything we've seen on the movies is not true. It's all alive.
John F. Kennedy
That's a perspective.
Jackie
In New York and, like, building things in cities. And, like, you get dropped off at a stadium that's in the middle of a neighborhood. Like, America is not as cool as we thought it was.
John F. Kennedy
Have you been to Green Bay, though?
Jackie
No.
John F. Kennedy
Dude, go to Green Bay. Yeah. That is a good football experience. It is cool because it is in the middle experience.
Kevin Clancy
But a draft.
John F. Kennedy
But a draft experience.
Jackie
But the.
Kevin Clancy
There's no such thing as a good.
John F. Kennedy
I've been. I've been to the game that I saw Sunday Night Football. Cowboys were in town. It was dope. It is in the middle of a neighborhood. You're getting bombed in somebody's front yard, just ripping fireball shots, walking through the neighborhood. And then all of a sudden, you turn this corner, and it's like, yo, they're. The stadium is right there. It is wild. But the draft, you're right that it is a very embarrassing thing if somebody flew in, because last year was Kansas City. And it's like, I don't know if you've been to that stadium. It's in the middle of nowhere. Like, it's not a flex that you'd want.
Jackie
No, it just if you have this built up image of, of America, which I think most of the world does, and you just get here and it's.
John F. Kennedy
Green Bay, it's in Pittsburgh coming up and it's like, dude, what are we doing? Dude, These guys are gonna fly in from Peru getting knocked out by some at a bar over a darts game. You lost a fight to a 42 year old woman. Yeah, she bowled a turkey right after. It was crazy. It was like, what?
Kevin Clancy
And Michael Turner will be there. Tell me about that.
John F. Kennedy
Oh my God. These are tough looking broads in these towns. They are going to weird cities.
Jackie
Like it's, it's a. I was just watching, just being like this must be so bizarre because I'm. I'm assuming they research a little bit.
John F. Kennedy
It was great. I, it was funny from my perspective though because I go all these games and do the shit, right. And you get the fan bases at these games. Like I went to NFC championship. You're really just dealing with commanders and Eagles fans. The tough thing at those games is I'm trying to talk a little. You can't talk to two teams that are in the NFC championship.
Jackie
Right.
John F. Kennedy
So it actually is tough.
Jackie
Right.
John F. Kennedy
Like, so we, we had some good clips. I ran into the. Are you garbage boys there. Tommy and Chris were there too. Like so like some classic Philly guys made the Elevated the video video. But like when I went to the draft I was like, oh, this is kind of what I'm building towards. This is all the saddest fan bases. Yeah, the Titans fans are there with face paint and the crown on thinking like it. And so it was actually shooting Fisherborough for what I wanted. Yeah, I like I rolled around you.
Kevin Clancy
That is, that's your Super Bowl. For this content I pulled up to.
John F. Kennedy
Every Steelers fans I, I saw and I was like, what part of Pittsburgh you from from? And they were never from Pittsburgh.
Jackie
Suckers.
John F. Kennedy
Rural Iowa.
Jackie
My grandfather though.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah, I hate.
Jackie
I just like the Steelers after Ben Roethlisberger was down in Georgia.
John F. Kennedy
Well, also their fathers. Their fathers don't even like them because they're from Pittsburgh. It's usually just dudes that in the 70s picked the Steelers, but either way. And that's the best thing about Bengals fans I saw. I found one, he was like going for Forest park park, which is such a, like just a specific area of Cincinnati. Picking up the bangles it's on the birth certificate, dog.
Kevin Clancy
Well, keep doing it, bro. It's a good, you know, it's a good, like it's a Venn diagram, so it's been good. Yeah, that's all available like your YouTube.
John F. Kennedy
Yeah, YouTube. The most recent one I dropped is from the NFL draft. I do. There's a fun one from the waste Management Open in Scottsdale. So I got Aaron Rodgers. I go to the program with the celebrities that day.
Jackie
Jelly Roll.
John F. Kennedy
Now I got Jelly Roll. And I got Aaron Rodgers to say shout out to 9 11.
Jackie
Yeah.
Kevin Clancy
Funny.
John F. Kennedy
It was very funny. That one went pretty viral, so. Yeah, turn a pretty good brand, bro. No, I think Rogers with me.
Kevin Clancy
Good.
John F. Kennedy
Good sense of humor.
Kevin Clancy
All right, bro.
Jackie
Good.
Kevin Clancy
Thank you, man.
John F. Kennedy
Appreciate you guys.
Jackie
You're the man, dude. Thank you so much.
John F. Kennedy
Thank you guys.
