We gotta put it on the wall like a. Like a buckhead bing bong before we get back into what I was gonna open up with this funny, funny little detour. So while we're on the topic of flies. Oh, don't tell me. I deleted it. Did I delete it? No. Come on, where is it? Okay, bro. In the never ending adventures of my house being renovated, I got new windows, by the way. Windows. If you're listening out there, kids go into the window business. It cannot possibly be as hard to make window windows as. As the cost is, you know what I mean? Tens of thousands of dollars to get my fucking windows replaced. And everyone, like, people like my mom and like, people who, like, care about these things are like, oh, my God, these are beautiful. I'm like, they're just fucking windows.

But they make sense that they're expensive, right? Because it keeps everything out of your house, I suppose.

But it's like, you know, they're like the efficiency of your heating is going to go like. I don't know if you can show me, like, tangible, like, here's how much money I'm saving every month, and one day it adds up fine. But right now it just feels like I paid a fucking boatload of money to, like, there was windows there. Now there's windows still there. Anyway, one of the windows they replaced in the bat in the bathroom, and it was supposed to be, like, in conjunction with the rest of the renovation, however, everything's backed up, so they replaced this window, but they didn't, like, seal the outside because they thought that, like, we were going to be ripping the bed. We did not. So there's just, like, open holes exposed to the outdoors.

That one should probably be cheaper.

Yeah, I would say maybe. Maybe I get a discount on that one.

We got a window. Bunch of holes around it, though. It's beautiful.

Anyway, this bug. Oh, it's alive. He came back to life.

Now I kind of want to let him live, bro. Lazarus. This. This. We're naming the fly Lazarus. You smushed him.

Not only did I smack with my hat when I tried to pick him up twice, I squeezed him pretty good, and then I was trying to gingerly pick him up. Yeah, he's alive. As are.

But are we. Is he suffering? No, he's doing.

He's suffering. He's. He can't fly. That wing's broken.

That's that. That. I feel like I'm not happy about what I just did, but, no, I am happy about it, that he wasn't flying ever again. That wing was all a skew. That's. He's toast. I did kill Him. I'm now like, I'm like, trying to be like I was, I did it out of, out of respect. And you're a murderer. It was me the whole time. The whole time. I was like, ah, the poor guy was suffering. What was he suffering from when I whacked him with a hat, bro?

When you think about what it must be like to be a fly that gets swatted, what's the equivalent? It would be like a, it would be like getting hit with like a building, right? Like a building collapsing on us. Like a 911 tower collapsing on you.

Imagine people came out of the tower, like, what the fuck was that? That's what that bug's like every morning. What the hell was that.

Bro? So, so this hole in my bathroom, when I tell you it was the biggest bug I've ever seen in my life. Fluence, my house. I, I, I don't know what it is. To this day, it's either a giant hornet or a cicada killer. By my, by my investigation now. Let me give you just, just a quick picture for like, for cicada killer.

It was minimum this.

Holy smokes.

Yeah, it was probably bigger than that. This picture, I mean, it's, it's your entire hand. Yeah. So I heard it first because when that thing flaps, it's like a plane propeller. And, and I walk in there and I, I mean, it was like a dinosaur. It was like, you know when they, when you, like, you like, like bugs used to be huge back then.

[Jackie]

Yeah.

[Kevin Clancy]

I was like, this is from the Jurassic. This thing is 65 million years old. And, and so, I mean, I'm like, I, I don't know what to do here. I end up trapping it in my medicine cabinet. Like, a door was open, it flew in and I just closed it. And then I left it there for a while. And I was like, all right, I gotta go in there and take care of this because we're gonna forget about it. I'm gonna open it up, my kids are gonna have like, this dinosaur coming. And so I put on, I had just gotten dry cleaning, so I had the plastic wrap that comes around your dry cleaning, and I put it over my head and then two extras and I put it around my arms as well. So I, I like, turned myself into like a beekeeper. And I'm like, I'm ready to go. I've got a ugg slipper. And I mean, it, it would maybe would defeat the UG slipper, you know what I mean? Like, I don't even know what it's going to take to kill this thing. I'm like, here we go. Open it up. Nothing. Open it up. Nothing. Open up the last one. Nothing. Now I'm like. I was like, now I. I was like, I got to move. Like, now.

I don't know where it is.

It's like when you see a spider on the ceiling and then you look away and it's gone. It's like, well, now where is it? You know, I. I never found.

You haven't found it?

That's what I mean. Like, he's gonna be. He's gonna be in a shoe I'm gonna put my foot in. So I. I gotta, like, I. I opened up. So the days go by and I was like, all right, this thing's got to be, like, dead by now or whatever. So then I. I haven't fully, like, taken everything out of the medicine cabinet, but I did do a pretty good, like, look through, expecting to find, like, a dead one of these, but still nothing. So I gotta go home and, like, look through the whole medicine cabinet or move, because it's somewhere and it's probably breeding and laying eggs. I mean, it was the noise that it was making, man.

I mean, that's crazy. I've seen the animals you see up there and that stuff, but that. That gives me pause.

[Kevin Clancy]

Oh, did I show you that?

I didn't move to Australia, did I? Yeah, I thought, this is only supposed to be on the penal colony we keep.

See if I could find that picture. I showed you the snake not too long ago. I never talked about that. There was a. A decent sized, like, garter snake, and I had to chop its head off, and. Little known fact, harder to chop off snakeheads with a shovel than you think. I thought I was going to give it a good just. And that was it. No, sir.

[Jackie]

No. It's like eating steak with a spoon. Yeah, you got to kind of.

[Kevin Clancy]

So, like, this. This snake had been, I think, probably like, picked up or grabbed by, like, a bird with its beak or his talons because, like, the middle of it was, like, ripped open and there was, like, blood and it was kind of suffering. And so I. I had like a whatever, like a pointy shovel. And I just think nothing. And then eventually I had to, like, saw it off.

Yeah, yeah. You kind of, like, on the plate, like.

Yeah. I mean, I was like, man, these are.

This is no joke. And then and then I like, the next day after that, I find a. Some sort of animal pelvis. Like a. A bone I think I deleted. It was like a bone dry bone that was like that clearly like the hips of some sort of animal. It's like, where the do I live, man? Get me back to, like, the hood. Take me back to Mount Vernon where my car got broken into every single night. But it was humans. I can deal with humans more, you know, before I can do any animal. Anyway, we got off track here. Rip to the bug. Congrats to the cicada killer who now owns my house. But we have a piece of KFC radio lore now in the studio. Montpelier, Vermont, while you were traveling to.

A concert, I believe it was. It was. It's so funny this weekend. Like, it worked out perfectly because Eric, who, who was kind of the police chief of police, who was kind enough to give me the bench, and his son J.T. who's graduating from St. S.E. hall today. Like, when I first told the story like four or five years ago, not first time, but when they first heard it, JT reached out and then. They're huge. We've met them at. They've come to KFC radio shows, They've come out of order.

Shows are great, great people about, like.

Yeah, we have Mount PE Police stuff around here. But they were coming this weekend, and Eric had reached out to me and was like, would you like the bench? And I was kind of like, I don't know. I can't. Obviously I can't put in my apartment. And then I asked you, and you're.

Like, we got to have it in the studio. Have the bench.

[Jackie]

I was like, all right, fine, we'll do it in the studio. And you.

You were like, you were on like a 24 hour journey, weren't you?

[Jackie]

Day three day journey. I was on my own odyssey. And it's in Homer over here. I was talking to. My parents were here this weekend again, too. We went to see good night and good luck on Saturday.

Oh, it's awesome. Really good.

Yeah, Cluty's the best.

But the. So they were here and I was telling. I was telling them we were planning Sunday. And I was like, yeah, I can get brunch, but, like, I have to be on call Sunday because Eric is coming with this bench. And I Have to be able to go. And I was like, actually, funny story. I don't know if I ever told you guys this story. And my mom was like, I know the story, John. And because she had I. Which I forget. I forgot she had told me. So what I did, I was at St. Michael's College my freshman year, and there was a Thursday night football game at Boston College. It was bc, Virginia Tech, early, early in the school year. And my buddy goes to bc and I grew up a big BC fan. So I was like, I want to go to that game. And so I told my mom, I'm coming home, I'm going to go to the BC game. And she said, do not talk to me until you're back on campus. It's crazy. You're already doing something like this. And I said, okay, fine. And after the game Thursday night, we got drunk and we realized that OAR was playing in Toronto, Canada. And I being someone who was in Burlington, Vermont was like, dude, I live right by Canada. Why don't.

I was like, you can come, we'll go and then you just come crash at my place after and you can come home. And he's like, this is the best idea ever. And so we put in the GPS Toronto and we realized it takes us through my buddies. My buddy went to Hobart, William and Smith. We realized it goes through Hobart and we're like, fucking pick up Graham on the way. Dude, this is gonna be the best trip ever. Get into Canada and realize it's nowhere near fucking Burlington, Vermont. Like, Like I was like seven hours from Burlington. I was like, son of a bitch. And so we party that night. We go to this OAR show at like the Ice Horse or something like that in Toronto. We go to Brass Rail Strip Club in Toronto, have a blast and come home. I get to. And then I was like. So I had done enough research or Googling since I found out where we actually were, that Hobart is in Ithaca, New York and Burlington is right here. And they're like, they're perfectly parallel. It's like a two hour ride. So I was like, oh, I'll just take the bus when we get back into the States. And then we get to Hobart, we drop my buddy off. I was like, I'll grab a bus ticket. Bus ticket from Hobart or from Ithaca to Burlington goes down to Newport, Rhode island first. So it's like a two day bus trip. And I had an exam on Monday. I was like, well, I can't fucking take that one. So I go back to Boston with My buddy go to South Station. He's like, I'll get you a train ticket. I'll get you a bus ticket. I get on the bus. I tell the woman I'm sitting next to. I was like, don't let me sleep past Burlington.

This is sleeping days, too.

[Jackie]

I have. I have an exam Monday morning. I have to be there, yada, yada, yada. This woman sitting next to me is like, I got you. I will wake you up. I promise. I was like, word. I fall asleep immediately. She wakes me up and is like. She's like, I'm so sorry. I forgot to tell you. We're here. This is your stop. So I jump up and I sprint off the bus. I watch the bus take a right, and I. Then I look around. I go, not Burlington. I was in Montpelier, Vermont. I went to the one open hotel on the street, which they told us the name of it last night. But I forget. And the guy. I was like. I told the guy my whole sob story. I was like, I've been on the road for three days. I don't have any money. I lost my wallet. I. I lost my phone. My phone was dead, whatever it was. And I said, can you. Is there anything you can do to help me? And he said, you can get the out of here. And I was like, God, right? That's mean, dude. It was. It was probably October in Vermont. I was definitely in a T shirt. I had a backpack.

A white man. Come on, hook it up. That's. This is white privilege, man.

[Jackie]

Just privilege I've been hearing about. Yeah, but. So I leave. And the kicker of the story is that a St. Michael's student had just been murdered in Mount Pilier. Now, if I'm being perfectly honest, it wasn't consuming a ton of my brain. I wasn't, like, horrified, like, I'm gonna get murdered out here. But it was a little piece being like, hey, there's people who are murdering people who look just like you. And. And so I'm like kind of just walk around the street being like, I don't know what the I'm gonna do. I see a payphone in an alleyway. So I call my bro, my buddy, who had just dropped me or just bought me a bus ticket in Boston. And I was like, yo, you got to call this hotel that's open, and you gotta get me a room. And I'm gonna go back. I'll sleep for a few hours. I'll get back to campus. And he's like, done deal. Done deal. And as that was happening, a car pulled up and just put on its high beams and never turned the car off. And I was like whispering that to him. I'm like, dude, this is. I'm telling about the murder thing. I'm like, this is car and it's just got tie beams on, just on me. And no one's moving. And I'm thinking he's gonna be like, dude, you're an idiot. Don't worry about it. And Prez comes back with put the phone down and run. So I just like throw the phone and take off going. And. And I, I didn't. I was running aimlessly. I didn't know where I was going. But I stumbled upon the police station and I went to open the door and just like, ask them for help where the door was locked. And I was like, son of a fucking bitch, the police station's closed. And that bench was sitting right out front. And I was like, look, they're not going to murder me in front of a police station. So I'll just.

Not a bad.

It's a sound logic.

And I was like, I'll just sleep on this bench. One of the cops coming to work in the morning, wake me up, yada, yada, yada, fall asleep on the bench. Cop wakes up a few hours later, I tell him my stob story and he's like, call me, I'll buy you a bus ticket. And he buys me a bus ticket from Burling, from Mount Peely to Burlington. I actually do. I forget what I got in the exam, but it's like the only exam I ever did well on. It was philosophy. I know that. And I. I don't even know what it was about, but I know I did fine. Because philosophy, you can just bullshit your way.

Yeah.

And so anyway, all that happened. I told that story however many years ago, they found out about it. Eric's the one who gave us the ride. Gave me the ride. So Eric, now we took a picture on the bench yesterday. And it kind of is one of those crazy things of like that if we had a picture of the first day when Eric is probably like a beat cop and I'm a wayward college kid. Yeah, he found me on a bench. And now we're on the bench. He's the chief police and I don't know, things are doing all right. Things are going. Yeah. I was like, this is cool moment, dude.

I love it. By the way. It is a bench, bro. Like cast iron, like heavy duty slabs of wood. It is like the real deal.

And he said. He said he talked to the city planner in Mount Pilier and said that he was going to give it to Barstool. And he said, he's like, they'll. They'll say, you know, come visit Mount Peliar. And I actually told the Nordensens yesterday that I think this is my only time in Mount Pele, Vermont, so I owe it another trip. I gotta go back. Yeah, yeah. I've been to Vermont 10 million times, but Mount Pillar itself, I don't think I've ever been again.

We gotta get like a plaque for it.

I love it, though, because this. This was like proof of your body of work. This. This was like. There was a period of time early on KFC radio. I. I guess. I don't know. Now, like, now. So many podcasts are out there, so many storytellers are out there. We've heard every ridiculous story under the sun, and I don't think people question anything anymore. But back in the day, it was like, every story we told on the podcast, it's fake.

This one in particular, this cop found us, was like, it's me. I know he's talking about. I'm the one who found him. I saw the bench. This is all real. And it was like vindication. He came to our live show, right.

He had said that. Well, he is in. I said yesterday that the only part of the story that I ever questioned in my head where I was like, it couldn't have been closed. Like a police station closed. And he was like, you should have rung the bell. He's like, we do lock up at night, but we are there.

It's not closed, it's just locked. It's just locked.

Yeah. I probably wasn't in the state to.

But that was the part I always questioned. I was like. I mean, locking. That would be nuts if this is well done.

That's also the other part about, like, a lot of those stories is like, Yeah. I don't know the details.

I forgot to say the, the one more thing about yesterday. The. So when Eric and J.T. and Jen were coming, I was at brunch with my parents. And I was, I, I, I had forgotten this detail of the story because I was like, do you guys remember the story? And my mom was like, yeah, I remember. You were gone for four days. And I, when, when I called her to tell her I was going to the Virginia Tech game, I was like, she was pissed. She was mad. She said like, I can't believe you're doing this kind of bullshit. Like, do not call me until you're back on campus. I don't want to talk to you until you're back on campus. And I was like, okay, we're talking four days.

I was like, I've moved every six months for 15 years. That's crazy.

Yeah. Like, this is my first apartment where I've ever been. Like, okay, I'm gonna. It's not like, all right, I'll figure it out in a year, right?

That. Yeah, it used to be. Because especially if you're like, my lease is up in a year, it's like, you got to start worrying about that. Six months. Yeah, it's like this neverending, you know, cycle. Like girls getting their periods. You ever realize that girls are just on their period always?

Because it's either they have it or it's the P of the PMS or it's like, this is lasting longer than usual. There's like a three day window where they don't have.

It's. It is crazy. Then they get pregnant and it's a whole nightmare being a girl. I would just kill myself. Straight up. What else we got? The. I'm fascinated by what's going on with his Diddy case. The amount of, like, support that he's getting.

Okay. It's kind of crazy. I saw guys in T shirts that said Free Diddy, but I guess they were getting paid 20 bucks an hour.

I'm sure. But it's not that they're. It's just more like there's a lot like, this is the case where everyone's decided to be like, we gotta be impartial here. Like, she might. Cassie might have been, like, a willing participant. And like, all this.

It's like, I'm sure. Yeah, listen, like, they. He was a monster. He abused her, I'm sure, at. For at least a decent chunk of that relationship. She was willingly there and did love him and did love the lifestyle and all those things. I get all that. But, like, when you've seen what's happened to her, I just don't think this is the case to be picking that apart. You know what I mean? Even I saw people, like, they released the full video.

She's not on trial, so who cares? That's the.

That's my point is, like, it doesn't matter. She is not under any sort. There's no charges. We're not trying to prove anything with her. Something like that. A chef, masseuse. Somebody was doing service. Like, she was like, they broke up, and he. She was with him for a little while, and, like. And it was okay, I guess. And people were kind of like, well, how. How could she have been, like, kidnapped or trafficked if, like, she was in another relationship and Diddy knew about it and nothing was happening? It's like, I don't know, man. Just because they're like. Like, we're throwing out all of this evidence that we've, like, seen happening to her because at one point, she was with Kid Cudi. It's like, yeah, I don't know. But then Kid Cudi got his car blown.

And also, what if it's the 50th floor for all we know did he's on the penthouse or. I don't know. Just because you're waiting for the elevator does not mean that you're not getting abused. Like these weird little details that, that people are fixating on. And I mean I, you know, I'd have to imagine this is based out of like they're fans of his and they love his music and they just don't want it to be true or whatever. But it's like, I don't know, they're, you know, everyone all of a sudden is a lawyer and very specific and very like, well, this is not proving this, that and the other. And it's like, I don't know, if this was somebody you didn't like, you would just be like, this guy, he's horrible to her. Throw him out, you know? And instead it's very, it's like, yeah, there's text messages of Cassie being like this freak off stuff. They, I can't believe they actually call it freak off. Like in conversation he's like, do you want to freak off? She's like, I love a freak off crazy. I'm sure they were. She's, you know, kinky and they, they like animals and all that. That doesn't mean you're not getting abused and beaten and you know what I mean? Like I just, the, the amount of, of excuses being made and, and on his part and the amount of like that they're tearing her apart for is just crazy to me. Like the one case where I, I thought the world was gonna kind of unite on this one, this guy. I don't know, there's a couple details.

But it's not like what do people just going off on like quotes they see because it's not.

There's screenshots of text messages that I assume are evidence that I, I don't know if that, that public record or whatever. But like, you Know, it's also just people don't comprehend an average person, regular person can't understand what goes on in an abusive relationship or like a kidnapping situation, whatever. Like there's those stories of like Elizabeth Smart was like in like in public like next to a police officer. It doesn't say anything.

Cuz you're warped in the head. And like an average person just goes well I don't know, something must be.

Going on in that situation. I just, it's like well you're not in it.

Know how you'd react because if you were in it you wouldn't be the person you are, you'd be a different person.

He was like, no, no, you need to like focus, you know? And they're like, how could. How could that. You know, how could he be the monster if he was the one saying no? Like, she was complicit. Let's go to the producer and the this and the that and like all the other people that he's. But yes, it's. It is wild sometimes to just see who gets the benefit of the doubt and who becomes vilified. Like there are people who have done far, far Far, far less who are, you know, have the scarlet letter and our career's over or whatever.

And then this dude is like, we have him on camera, like, maliciously beating this girl's face. And people are like, she did send those text messages, though, that she wanted everyone reasonable.

I know, but it's. It's just like, I just think about from her point of view, like, and her. Her new husband. I mean, I'm sure that's a lot for them to go through in general. Imagine like, when you finally, you know, after years and years, you, like, build up the courage or that the whole thing with this was that deadline came up with, like, the statute, they changed it so she had to file a lawsuit. And you're like, all right, I did it finally. And everyone's like, you're. You're like, guilty or whatever. It's like you. You really one of those, like, lost faith in humanity moments. But I also, you know, none of this really matters. It's like the criminal court. And all that is actually, is, this is criminal. This is civil. I don't even know what this is.

But, oh, but it's not the abuse. It's all. And that's the other thing is people are, like, going through with a fine to everyone now is a expert in racketeering and. Yeah, but. And prostitution over state lines and all these things. It's like, you don't know a thing about this.

And so it's like a curse. And if along the way of breaking one of those curses, you get excited like this, like, I, I just don't, I feel like maybe, maybe I'm wrong. Were people doing that with the Red Sox and the Cubs when they were like, getting excited along the way? You're kind of like, oh, they're, they're like finally gonna do it. And instead the Knicks, it's like, act like you've been there before. And it's like, we haven't, dude.

But social media is going to be angrier and meaner. But like, it's, it's, it look, I wish the Celtics won. It's definitively cool that the city is jacked up. It's cool to be in a city.

Yeah, like, like there was a clip of precious Achua, like walking, I think just like out of the arena and he crossed the street and went over to the fans were like behind the barricade and he like high fived the mall and was talking.

Yeah. Watching a city embrace a team and a team embrace a city is cool no matter where.

It's definitively cool. Like, I mean, in, I mean, I guess, like, I hate Boston. So if it's the other way around, but I don't know, I, I, I would find something to make fun of. Don't get me wrong. But I don't think I, I think that like, when people like, you know, you did this for the second round, it's like, yeah, we do this for the second round. We do this for the regular season.

And he just looked at me, and I had, like. I. I don't know, I got a fast and furious T shirt on, sunglasses on. And he just looked at me. He's like, hey, man, you going to the game? And I kind of smiled, and I was like, nah, dude, I'm. I'm just heading home. You don't want me at the game, though. I'm a Celtics guy. And he was like, what? And he got up and he, like, started, like, walking around the. The. The train. The train. And he's like, man, you like the Celtics? And I was like, yeah. He's like, you fucking going down? And I was like, no, you guys are. And then the bus gets. The train gets to another stop, and people start coming on, and there are people in some Knicks jerseys. And he's like, hey, guys. Hey, this guy is Celtics fan, right? And I'm like. And like, everyone started like, the fuck you. And like. But, like, we're all having fun. Like, it was, like, a great time, and. And I was laughing and then more in every stop. You know, we're coming down from 95th around the one, so closer and closer to MSG. So, like, more and more Knicks jerseys are getting on the train. And he's letting all of them know, right?

And for some reason I was, I was just thinking about. I don't know, I was high and I was just kind of like just thinking about my life. And I like did the math on where I live from ages 14 to 28.

But then to Vermont, Rhode Island, Florida, Rhode Island, New York, Boston, New York. There was like from like 15 East.

And maybe, maybe it's more of a modern thing with the Internet or whatever. You can be wherever. You can be in a small market and kill it. You can, whatever. And I don't, I just don't put stock in the fact it's like you happen to be born in a different place than me. So you think you're like, fancier, smarter, better, more popular. I don't believe that. But it might just be convenient that the place I was born happened to be a big time land of opportunity.

Because it's funny you say that, because literally the exact opposite mentality in my household growing up. My mother's born, raised in Brooklyn, then Long Island, Westbury, all that. And then my father's from la, they met in Chicago, so big city. I was like raised by big city mentality really. And like by my, you know, dinner table. Growing up, my mom had the New Yorker thing where it was the painting of, it's just New York and then the river and then nobody knows what else is out. It's like the world is New York City, right?

Yes, like that.

That like literally lived to buy every chicken parm she ever cooked. You know what I'm saying? Like, all that. And she wasn't Italian, so it wasn't the best chicken. Love you, Ma. But, but like, I think that that mentality probably catapulted me to the way that I thought about leaving Cincy too, because she was a. They always moved around. My mom and dad were always like wherever. Wherever the, the money might be and like that. Before they settled in Cincy, they were in San Diego, Louisiana. Chicago, New York. You know, my dad was in the 80s. He was a salesman in New York. He ended up class. He was like a Steely Dan song. He was Scarsdale doing cocaine and a little bit too much tequila. Ended up. And ended up kind of like flat on out of that didn't go well. Ended up in Cincy, so that's the only reason I ended up in Cincy. But they both had that big city mentality.

So I think maybe that's. That's what it was when I was, like. I felt like I was capable of that because of them.

To me, like, when you said, like, New York is, like. To me, that's just. My whole life is New York really.

So, like, when I. That's also why I will, like, on New York or why, like, I hate the Yankees more than other teams because, like, this is just my everyday life. So this is what I think about. And I don't even consider what's going on outside of this bubble.

You know, and I guess maybe when. I don't know if there was a. It's kind of like, you know, you can talk about your own family, but if someone else on the outside did. But right now, it's just like, this is the only place that I live that I like sometimes and I hate.

And then, like, Instagram happened and it's like, oh, they're everywhere.

I don't know where these girls came from, but these guys, it was like straight mad men. They were like, how about you go get me a drink? I'm like, I remember this one guy telling this flight attendant to open up her clamor. And I was like, oh, my God. And I. And I remember this. The. The chick, one of the flight attendants hopped on like the phone and was like, contrary to popular belief, this is still an airplane.

Very end. It was getting on the plane to fly back. So by then it was after a Super bowl, drinking the whole night. And she just put a.

I would say. On the. On the back end of it, the best thing is it's 7pm when you catch that L. And you can drink it all away with the boys. Because I. I'll never forget the lowest. The lowest point in my. In my 20s was. It was. First of all, I've had some probably lower points. I had a close friend died. 21. But it's like. But the lowest point. But the Bangles Bengals were on a night. It was one of those nice Marvin years with Dalton and A.J. green, like, 11 and 5. But I think we did win the division. But it was like. You probably don't remember, but, like, let's say week 16, 17, like, we had A.J. green injury. I believe, like, whoever our running back was at the time was out. So we went from, like, winning the division to having good momentum to having, like, a depleted offense, and. And you're completely overmatched by whoever you're playing. Andrew Luck. Early Andrew Luck, and we lose the Colts in the first round of it. In a year where you were like, yo, five weeks ago, I think we could have won the fucking afc.

And it was also the same day that Stuart Scott had Died and we lost. We caught that L to the colts by like 2pm and I was able to drink so heavily to get through that loss. My boys still tell me it was the drunkest I ever was. I was like, I. Because we, you know, you've also RIP Stu Scott, but secondly, you're, like, able to just get blackout drunk. Yeah, sure, the sun's out, but, like, you. If you want it to get dark, there's a strip club down the street. You're gonna feel a little better. And I did feel better about things. And you do. Like, I. I got through a lot of dark, dark between like, 4pm and 10pm The Vontes Burfig Pittsburgh collapse happened at like, 7pm so weird to me. And I was in a Vontes Burfect jersey. I almost got in a fight with the Steelers fan a little bit after that, but I did drink it away.

And I bounced back the dream way does. I remember 07 Super Bowl. Pat's Giants won. And I was at FSU at the time.

Yes, I think so. Yeah. But I was at fsu, so I was in Tallahassee, and I was at, like, you know, everyone hated the Patriots, so, like, there wasn't a welcome party I could go to. So I went to just my buddy's party and sat on the couch. I was the only person who, like, really cared about the game. And I was just sitting on the couch like a 12 pack right here, right in front of the TV. And I remember once that ball went through, not through Moss's fingertips, but right in front of his outstretched hands, I just got up and it was like. It was like out of a movie where, like, once that ball went through his hands, the party went nuts. Like, everyone's spraying stuff. People jumped over each other. And I, like, didn't. I was very smooth, just got up, grabbed the 12 pack between my legs, and just started walking the streets of Tallahassee like, like, like, like a drifter. Like, I was just walking the streets of Tallahassee, 12 pack in my hand, drinking a beer, throwing it into someone's yard, just, like, walking around just, like, praying it would start raining like I.

Deserve Eeyore on the way home. Speaking of another low point that it's speaking, like, of LA, too, and the softness walking out of that LA SoFi Stadium after the Rams had beat the Bengals in the Super Bowl. And I just. That was the time where I remembered how Rams fans and LA fans are so soft because all I wanted to do was, like, Getting a. Not. Maybe not a physical altercation, but I wanted to talk some to a Rams fan. And what you realize is all these are some of the soft people in the world. They were coming up to me, like, really fun game. Like, shut the up. They're like, what. What a fun day. You ever been to the stadium here? I'm like, get the. Out of my face.

And I was like, nice little first round win, but we're going to get smoked in the nlcs. And we swept them. And I was at game four in Wrigley and. Or maybe game three, but it was game three because I was at home, so. But it was like three, zero, you know, it's over.

And we walked out of Wrigley and everyone was like, we did karaoke. They're drinking Wrigleyville. And I remember being like. I was kind of like, I could keep a low profile here. Like, I don't want to get. I'm not gonna get beat up. And everyone was just like, where are we going? I was like, aren't you guys going to, like, the cemetery? Aren't you, like, gonna kill yourself right now? It's just because they drank it away.

I hate that we won't get the. Obviously it was a Bulls documentary, but it was. It was a Michael Jordan documentary. That 10 part or whatever it was. Like, I don't know, more of an east coast type comic the way that I am on Stage, like that's. But again, I kind of stand out in LA because I'm a little different than most of these. And I'll walk off stage sometimes. Like, I'll do a show in Venice. I was running the 10 minutes for a big taping I did. You'll see it at some point this summer. You guys know, don't tell comedy. Yeah, I did a 12 minute or 1012 minute special for them that'll be dropping at some point. And I'm running that set in Venice at this. This room that's probably, you know, it's. A lot of it ended up being like, I don't know, there's like eight to ten just lesbians throughout. Whatever. I don't. I know. I knew that because two comics before me were both lesbians. So they're talking, I went up there and I ate a dick with this polished set for like 10 to 12 minutes. And I'm able to know enough about LA and my comedy to walk off that stage and be like, like, that's gonna kill when I tap it in Columbus, Ohio. Because, like, these don't know what the.

They. Sometimes they hate me in la. Yeah, they really hate me. But I've. I've gotten to a point where I understand that, hey, when they really don't like what I'm saying, that actually means it's gonna kill. You know what I'm saying? The Midwest, I'm like, it's gonna crush. They might raise me out of Kalamazoo, Michigan, as the mayor, you know what I'm saying?

Like, so gotta know your audience. It's.

Yeah, but, yeah, no, and no, no, the reactions and. But yeah, LA has been good. And then I do the thing every. The last two years, because I think the last time I was here, I was just starting it, but I started a comedy tour every football season where I go to every Bengals road game. I do a show the night before and then I'll do the tailgate and do man on the street. And then so I'll do every Bengals road game and then I'll also do probably like five, six games outside of that. So last year I went to Philly a couple times.

What are the crowd like? Are they like, did the crowd for your show the night before the game, is it largely Cincy fans still growing? It.

[John F. Kennedy]

It is a lot of Bengals fans that are on the road of the game. But then also, like, the nice thing is when I go to these road games and do the tailgates, I'm Actually with these fan bases more so like those fan base. I'm not like being an either. I, I am but like in a way that a fan would be an. Right. I'm bringing up the fact that Ray Lewis definitely, if he didn't kill him, knows who killed those two people. I'm saying we're going to talk about that.

Yeah.

And so that I do get the, the football fan bases but also like, like I'm popping in comedy. I. In comedy these days, you got to hit the, throw the spaghetti against the wall as much as you can. I do stand up clips. I do the man on the Street. I do walk and talk videos where I'm talking, you know. So however the audience finds me, those, those audiences are football based a lot of the times. But you know, sometimes it's just people that found me through stand up, whatever like that. So that's dope. It's nice and diverse. I can get my football off though if I want to do those jokes. But I can also do whatever.

So it's been fun. And then, and then I'll do just cool. Like I went to the NFL draft a couple like recently. So it's good to you know, stay.

Plugged in in sports. Like you have your comedy thing with sports is a, you know, get some of that gambling money, get some of that, that, that fan base. Do what you diversification.

You guys know it though. It's like what I looked at it like a couple years ago. I was like, yo, what do I love? I'm. I love comedy. What are the other things I love that I can die and gram it and like sports. I love talking and I, and I know sports well enough to talk. I go to, I did Madison Square Garden a couple years ago for the Knicks game. Like I'll just go pull up with a camera and a mic, see what the happens.

And I'm not trying to be the dude that's like putting a microphone in front of you and being like, you say something dumb. Yeah, yeah, I'm actually doing whatever. Yeah, I'm gonna cut into it too and, and start some. So like went to the NFL draft in Green Bay. I just tried to find a sober packers fan for like an hour. Didn't. I did find a 12 year old and he was on his father's shoulders and he's like, I am sober.

I was watching that draft. I, I can't imagine like what. Paint me the scene, dude.

It is the saddest version of, of a 45 year old football fan with his 12 friends that are traveling in to watch young 20 year old black men get drafted by 80 year old white men. It's weird.

And, and you scream and yell and you don't know whether it's gonna be a bust or a hit. You're just reacting based on whatever Mel Kiper says and like you have no idea.

I hate, I hate overreaction guy on NFL draft day too because like the Bengals drafted this dude that had four and a half sacks. It was SEC defensive end Shamar. Switch it. I don't know any big about this guy, dude. Everybody's mad.

I'm like, this guy looks like a guy. He's the one and then he's the bus. And it's like now you're the ass.

I, I said that recently that like I've realized with my sports fan, like I watch, I like watching the sports. I don't care about like yes. Projecting where this guy's gonna be. His trade was smart. No one knows. I don't know. Let's go play the game and figure it out.

They act like there's a bunch of evidence that you can take and predict it. It's like, no, there's more evidence to prove that you're wrong. We all don't know what the we're talking about. Just let this happen. Hopeful, good coaching.

Luckily I was in Green Bay and I got a homie from Milwaukee.

If you were just like, dude, I was gonna.

I was saying. I think the episode after the draft, I was saying to Jackie and Pavs that, like, it's gonna change our standing in the world where we're after the trash. Because again, I watched, like, the third or fourth round. I forget which round. And you watched the third.

It was like, I had already left Green Bay, bro.

It's how I actually liked watch Draft. Like, my uncle would have a draft party when I was a kid, and I would go. Because it was only.

And it was the round where they had the international fans reading the pick.

And I was just watching, like, these dudes from Germany and Peru and Brazil get up there there and not be so excited to announce their pick.

But then I was thinking about, like, what does someone from Peru think? They're like. They're telling their friends, like, I'm going to America.

That's a NFL pick. And they're like, holy, that's gonna be insane. And they get off the plane in Green Bay, and they're gonna go back home and be like, everything we've seen on the movies is not true. It's all alive.

In New York and, like, building things in cities. And, like, you get dropped off at a stadium that's in the middle of a neighborhood. Like, America is not as cool as we thought it was.

The stadium is right there. It is wild. But the draft, you're right that it is a very embarrassing thing if somebody flew in, because last year was Kansas City. And it's like, I don't know if you've been to that stadium. It's in the middle of nowhere. Like, it's not a flex that you'd want.

No, it just if you have this built up image of, of America, which I think most of the world does, and you just get here and it's.

Green Bay, it's in Pittsburgh coming up and it's like, dude, what are we doing? Dude, These guys are gonna fly in from Peru getting knocked out by some at a bar over a darts game. You lost a fight to a 42 year old woman. Yeah, she bowled a turkey right after. It was crazy. It was like, what?

It was great. I, it was funny from my perspective though because I go all these games and do the shit, right. And you get the fan bases at these games. Like I went to NFC championship. You're really just dealing with commanders and Eagles fans. The tough thing at those games is I'm trying to talk a little. You can't talk to two teams that are in the NFC championship.
