Mystic Michaela
Michaela spiritual family. Welcome to know your aura with mystic Michaela today. Live life like a purple. I am going to talk about life hacks, life advice, life inspiration from purple auras. But first. Hey, Scotty.
Scott
Hey, guys.
Mystic Michaela
All right, so my idea with this is to make it a series. We. We have so many amazing mystic Michaela spiritual family members, and I thought we could do these little episodes. Live life like a purple is today. We could do live life like a yellow. We'll go through all the colors, including turquoise. Turquoise, too, right?
Scott
They'll definitely one day be live life like a turquoise.
Mystic Michaela
Of course, we will not forget the turquoise. And it's not that you want to be somebody you're not. It's just taking advice and. And inspiration from other energies, which is like, really how we grow and learn and gain compassion. And really, today's episode is take what you like and leave the rest. You know, like, if something resonates and it helps you and it makes a little catalyst in your mind for inspo. Take it, you know, so that was my thought with this series, but they're not gonna be in chronological order.
Scott
Okay. Just pepper em in.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah. I mean, I'm a purple. I don't know when the next one's gonna be. Okay.
Scott
I don't know. It could be a couple months from now.
Mystic Michaela
When I feel like it. When I feel like it.
Scott
It might be episod episode 500.
Mystic Michaela
It could be.
Scott
We don't know.
Mystic Michaela
Well, do you know any purple auras, Scott, Besides me and your two kids?
Scott
Yeah. Well, okay, so I'm red. Blue.
Mystic Michaela
Apparently.
Scott
I've never had another color in my aura ever, especially purple. But, you know, I know a guy. There's this guy I know. His name is Petro.
Mystic Michaela
Oh, Honchar. Blast from the past.
Scott
Petro Hanchar.
Mystic Michaela
Petro Honchar.
Scott
And he's red. Purple. And he's taught me everything I know about being purple.
Mystic Michaela
What do you know about being purple?
Scott
It's like live life to the fullest.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
You know, be creative. Artistic intuition, you know, say word salad. Yeah. Say screw it to the world. Yeah. You know, screw the BS and live how you want to live, you know, and, you know, dance on a table and go to the nightclub. I mean, this is all me, you know? This is me in a nutshell.
Mystic Michaela
Okay.
Scott
So, yeah, I learned all that from Petra. Is that right? Is that kind of a little bit.
Mystic Michaela
What it's like to be a purple?
Progressive Insurance Announcer
Yeah.
Scott
Yeah. It's a loud purple, maybe. There's quiet purples.
Mystic Michaela
There's Quiet purples, too. I think being a purple has a lot to do with. You don't think, like, society deems normal, you know, you think different, yet you're always trying to fit in, you know, and that can make you kind of feel on the outskirts a bit, or disorderly or disorganized. Well, I, you know, I.
Scott
There. I think reds do this too, but just in a we, at least. I do, I think, but in a different way. I also don't, like, fit the mold of, like, traditional thinking of society. I always like kind of thinking a little bit differently than everything else than everyone else does not. But not in a probably a purple way. I do it in my red ranty type way.
Mystic Michaela
Reds and purples get along well because of that, you know, because I think there's a lot of passion and a lot of kind of, like, against the man kind of a vibe, you know, like, don't tell me what to do is big for purples. It's big for reds, too. Like, don't tell me what to do. Differences is reds like to tell people what to do, and purples honestly don't care. Yeah, like, do what I do. Don't do what I do. I don't care. Reds are a little bit more invested in. No, do what I do. No, do what I do. You know, like that.
Scott
Well, yeah. Yeah. Because like, let's say a purple, they might do it in more like a creative way, whereas I, let's say, like, you know, like, with stock, I'll just take the stocks. You know, when everyone's going one way, I'm swimming the other way.
Mystic Michaela
Okay.
Scott
With stocks, is that kind of a similar thing or.
Mystic Michaela
Right. Or when you hear, like, just any sort of, I don't know, people kind of saying something, you're immediately like, well, how do you know? Hold on, you know, devil's advocate. Immediately, like, well, let's just see the opposite side of that. Or. What are you saying? Like, you don't take things right away, but I think purples are the same. Like, purples are very much like they hear something and they're like, well, wait a second, you know. And I think another thing with purples is, is that there's this, like, invisible world. And if you're purple, you've known this since you were small, that, you know, everybody's talking and everybody's doing something, and everybody's kind of going along with it, but there's this energy underneath where it's not real. You know, growing up as religious as I did, it was always like, this doesn't, this can't be like, right. There's like a little voice, you know, And I feel like purples just have to live with that voice always being like, that's not real or that's not authentic or that's not happening or that's not the way it is for everyone.
Scott
Right. And you have to come out and say something. Then the world shuts you down.
Mystic Michaela
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But, you know, but you never lose that knowledge that it's so true.
Scott
Yeah. You know, I assume some purples suppress that voice.
Mystic Michaela
Yes.
Scott
And others maybe scream that voice.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah. But even if you suppress it, it's it. Purple is a very pervasive, prevalent energy. Like, even if you're quiet about it or you're not going to speak out about it, like you're quiet purple, like you still know, you know, like, okay, you know, you keep it to yourself. But I'm going to go, I'm going to talk about my own purple isms, purple life advice, and take some from the mystic Michaela spiritual family too. I always get excited when I get to have a sponsor on that I'm so invested in. And that is Oneskin. I use the OneSkin, the OS One Face and the OS One Eye, also a bunch of their other products. And it's made such a difference in my own hydration. I don't like to wear a lot of makeup, so I'm very concerned with making sure my skin looks healthy and feels good so that I don't have to wear a lot of makeup. And One Skin just provides me all of those things. And a lot of it is because of the science. The founding team are longevity researchers who asked a deceptively simple question. If many visible signs of aging, like wrinkles or fine lines or the loss of of elasticity are driven by so called zombie cells, what if you could actually reduce those cells to slow the aging process down instead of just covering it up? So that research led to the OS one one skin's proprietary peptide. It is the first ingredient proven to switch off those damaged senescent cells, actually slowing skin aging directly at the source. And using the, the OS1 face and the OS1 eye, and I have an OS1 the lip peptide is really, really amazing. It's made my lips a lot more moisturized looking and then they look fuller. Using this for a couple months now, I've seen a definite difference in my skin tone, my hydration, and just kind of like how radiant I look. So born from over a decade of longevity research, One Skin's OS1 peptide is proven to target the visible signs of aging, helping you unlock your healthiest skin now and you age. For a limited time, try one skin with 15% off using code KYA at OneSkin CO. KYA. That's 15% off OneSkin CO with Code Kya. After you purchase, they'll ask you where you heard about them. And please support our show and tell them that we sent you Tips to Live Life from a Purple Aura I am very excited about this series that we will be doing in no particular order because obviously I'm a purple. So let's start with. I wanted to start with the purple auras and these are just supposed to be catalysts for inspiration, advice that may help you little things that make you feel supportive or may add to your own quality of life. Take what you need, leave the rest. It's not all going to resonate. And that's okay. First, let's start with purples. What is purple aura? Okay, so if you're new here, purple is an energy color that I'll see on people and usually it indicates their need for change, a real dislike of stagnation. These people don't often fit in with society's mold of how we should do things. They're not linear. So it's not like you go to school, you major in something, you get a career, you work at that job until you die. You know, like there's not that kind of monotony can cause a lot of anxiety in a purple aura. And the reason for that is is purples enjoy creation and they're not afraid of destruction. And the connotations of mistakes and restarting and, and doing it again aren't things that stress them out. The only stress that comes from that is society labeling them as lazy or hesitant or disorganized or flighty. But really, purples enjoy adapting and changing and being flexible and creating with what life throws at them. So I wanted to talk about some of my own purple tips for you. I am a purple aura myself. And then of course, I asked the wonderful mystic Michaela Spiritual Family Purple Auras to give their tips. And I strongly suggest that you go to this thread on our Facebook page and check it out. It has amazing wisdom there from our MMSF purples. But I pulled a couple reoccurring themes to talk about. But first, let's talk about mine. All right, so a few of my own lessons. And these are things. Listen, it's come with age, you know. Cause I didn't always think this way. I used to feel very bad about myself for my natural way of doing things. And instead of embracing how I naturally operate, I would constantly belittle myself and use bad self talk and try to be something I wasn't. And things that I've learned are mistakes, are teachers. And I love my mistakes. I never do anything right the first time. And I have come to completely love that about myself. Whether it's a recipe. Okay. Or it's one of my creative pursuits in this practice or this world, whenever I do something for the first time, I do it wrong. You know, I don't do it the right way. If I waited until I felt like I could do it perfect, I wouldn't do it at all. And so I learned. And if you're with me in workshops, for example, when I'm teaching or any of the events that we've gone to, when things happen that are like, oops, oh, oh, I didn't think of that. Oh, I forgot to send this. Oops, I just roll with it. It's like, oh, yeah. Because I know you guys are like, okay, no big deal. You know, I own that. I try it anyways. I throw things out there. It's not always right the first time or the second time. Sometimes it takes a few times for me to get it smooth or get it right, But I roll with it and I own it. And it's helped me a lot. And it helps other people feel comfortable enough to talk about their vulnerabilities and where they don't feel perfect either. And another thing is when I make a life mistake, like, let's say I did something the wrong way, a lot of times I have problems with just like, I don't know, I just had to get my kids her permit, you know what I mean? So there's like all these tiny little steps you have to do, and they act like it's so easy. Like, and this is just one of a gazillion examples, like you go to the DMV website for the state, and 1, 2, step 3, step 4, step 5, right there, it's like, oh, my God, you know, so what have I learned? I've learned to take everything with me. You know, I'm traveling to the DMV with like, all my personal information and basically like a file cabinet because I know I'm gonna forget. Oh, you didn't bring your seventh bill from seven years ago to, like, a utility bill. You know, you never know. So I'm so used to me having mistakes or not figuring things out that I plan for It And I just laugh at myself too. And another thing is every time I make some sort of mistake, no matter what it is, I say, what did I learn here? You know, and then I plan for it in the future. So I always take my lesson from something. And mistakes aren't even mistakes to me. They're just experiences at this point. Another thing, here's the thing with purple auras. And listen, we just have to be real. Purple auras do have a bit of an addictive personality. Now I'm not saying purples are the only ones that have addiction issues. So that's a whole different topic. I mean that we tend. Purples tend to have more vices than other auras. Aura colors. Good thing about purples though is that they own it too. Like, way more easy for them to admit, like, yeah, this is a problem for me than it is for other aura colors. Because again, purples are so used to kind of making little flubs throughout their life at this point they're like, yep, that is something that I do. It's self destructive. And it's kind of a weird addiction that I have. So we do have a tendency for vices. These can be anything from just allowing the wrong people into your life over and over and over again to allowing a substance in your life, to making poor choices with, you know, health scenarios. Maybe you had issues with actual addictive substances. Maybe you have issues with patterns of behavior that are destructive, you know, whatever it is. Sometimes we repeat a bit because again, purples love change and chaos and a little bit of catastrophe. They don't mind destruction because in those feelings they can feel alive and like they are creating and rising from the ashes and rewiring themselves. And life doesn't feel. Feel so monotonous when there's kind of chaos happening. But here's the thing that gets old, you know, and you get tired and the people around you aren't so into that, you know, on repeat. So we have to mature and understand ourselves and also be kind to ourselves through not being so self destructive. But you still have that kind of little personality quirk. So my advice is have a vice that's not so bad. You know, mine is chocolate and Diet Coke. I don't care, okay? Like, I don't care what the research says. I'm in. I love Diet Coke, you know, it's like, it's my thing. Don't take it away from me. There's nothing like driving to McDonald's at 7pm and just getting my extra large Diet Coke. Like that's my, that's my jam. You know, I don't have much, but I got that. And so you got, you gotta have something, what's your thing? But then also know your limits. You know, like maybe I don't buy the diet Coke and I don't keep it in my fridge because it's going to be gone in an hour, like you know, a 2 liter or something. So maybe I don't have it there, maybe it requires me to go buy it even if it's more expensive. Like you know, you got to take the trip to the drive in. So you got to work with yourself a little bit, let yourself have your little moments, but also make the parameters around them so you don't go overboard, know thyself, you know what I mean? And I also feel like with that self destructive behavior, like instead of, you know, dating the wrong people or you know, making bad choices in different areas of your life, maybe treat yourself, you know, like, well, this weekend I'm going to take myself for a pedicure. Or you know what? I really like this phone case. This is going to be my little treat at the end of this week because I love myself so much. So I'm going to buy this phone case, you know, like whatever it is, like give yourself little treats and those things they supply you and the more frivolous the better. Like maybe you don't need that phone case but it makes you flipping happy. So you know what, treat yourself. You know, these are little kind of like self destructive hacks which aren't self destructive but still have that kind of rebellious nature that can feed you for the moment. These are my, these are my tips. Also, do things on your own schedule, okay? Like you might not want to clean the house at 10am you might get the urge to do it at like 9pm Whatever, you know, like if I notice with purples they don't operate on a 9 to 5, their circadian rhythm is not the same. Like you might be super duper awake at times where other people are getting ready for bed. And that's okay. You gotta do. If you feel like writing or being creative or you know, tackling some sort of fun project or doing something that you don't feel like doing. But all of a sudden you're like, oh, I feel like I feel the need to clean out my closet at 10pm Go for it, you know, strike while the iron is hot. I talk a lot about purples and I talk about how they hate cleaning. And it's true, purples hate cleaning. But we're not dirty, okay? Like, purple auras aren't dirty. It's just the pointlessness of the task can honestly just depress me. I was unloading the dishwasher, you know, however many times a week I have to do this, and I'm in the middle of it. I'm like, this is so stupid. Like, why can't we just take from this dishwasher? Why do I have to put everything away just for it to go into the sink just for. You know, it's like, it's so pointless. I'm like, then how many minutes of my life have I wasted, like, filling and unfilling this dishwasher? And, yes, I get it. You know, then my other. That's where you got to count on your other aura color. Mine happens to be indigo. You're so lucky that you have a dishwasher to fill. You know, this. This is it. These are first world problems, Megan. You know, like, obviously, it's so nice when the house operates when it's not chaotic. I have to go to my other energy color to, like, find reasons for cleaning or organizing or doing the things we got to do. But honestly, purples can get stressed about it. And you're not a bad person if you don't like to do that stuff. It's okay. I would rather. Here's my. Here's a big thing for me. Like, I would rather feel silly. I would rather feel stupid. I would rather be a total laughingstock. I would rather get rejected so bad than have regret. And I feel like that's a big purple life tip. You'd rather try it and know it wasn't for you or try it and fall on your face and Than sit there and be like, oh, what would have happened? I'd rather know. Like, I'd rather know what's gonna happen than sit there and wonder. They're both not great feelings, but I feel like for purples, regret of not trying the thing is worse than rejection. When you tried the thing and it didn't work out. Yeah. And honestly, anybody that laughs at you or anybody that points a finger at you or anybody that's talking about you behind your back, that's just. To me, I feel like whenever I see somebody out there doing something that nobody else is doing or they're really putting themselves out there, I'm like, good. The courage, like, awesome. That's so cool. I really am proud of them, because anybody that says otherwise didn't have the guts to go do that. So I'd rather be rejected than have regrets. My way of thinking is not linear. Purples don't think linear. You know, you're not like A, B, C, D. You don't think like that. You think in kind of like a circular, bouncy way. That's how I get messages from spirit, you know, like, if you ever had a reading with me, I just talk and they just hijack my voice, and it's a. It's all over the place. You know, I get pulled to different things and in my own life, too. And in your life, if you're a purple, too, the way that you think all kind of cyclical and bouncy and all over the place. That is how you think, and that is how spirit, the universe, that which is greater than us, whatever you want to call it, that's how they can interject their inspiration or their wisdom or their downloads. That is how you figure out the world. Just because it's not linear, just because it doesn't fit the 3D societal, you know, patented and replicated ways that we're, quote, supposed to do things doesn't mean it's wrong. It just means that it's unique to you and it works. And that sounds like adhd, because I hear this all the time. Like, purple sounds like adhd. I don't have adhd, you know, but I can see where, if you're purple, that a lot of the ADHD stuff that we hear out there can relate to it. And if you're purple with adhd, God bless you. You know, like. Like, it's kind of the same thing, though. It's very much, you think in your unique way, there's nothing wrong. It's just society doesn't support it or isn't set up for it. That's it. You know, nine to five jobs, really not for purple auras. Unless the only time I see it working for a purple aura. Unless, you know, you have a lot of freedom at work. You know, you can look at your phone, you can listen to your music. You can kind of come and go a bit like you're not being micromanaged. Otherwise, it's very repression. It's a lot of repression there. I feel like with purples, a tip is, you know, it's okay to be sad. It's okay to sit in your feelings and create with that. There's a lot of wisdom that comes from sadness. There's a lot of wisdom that comes from feeling melancholy. And that is where a lot of artistic, be it writing or drawing or creating, that's where that can kind of come from or grow from. And purples aren't afraid of darkness. They're not afraid of shadow. They actually don't mind hanging out there for a little bit and seeing what comes up. So if you're feeling a little bit dark in a way, that's not scary, obviously. But if you're feeling a little bit like lulz or you go through moments where you're not super happy, that's okay. And let's see what we can get from there. Usually in those moments, we get a lot of inspiration, we get a lot of unique thought. We get a lot of creative impulses too. And I think my biggest one is like, don't commit to. Don't, like, just say you're gonna do something that you know you're not gonna do. Like, I'm gonna work out five days a week at this gym. It's like, no, you're not. You know, come on, let's get real. You know, like, no, again, know thyself when you're a purple. I think a big thing is purple auras. We think if we say something and we put it out there and we tell all our friends, we put on social media, it's honestly just setting ourselves up so that we can rebel against our own. Purples are very rebellious. And if you set yourself up, you'll rebel against yourself. So don't play that game with yourself. You know what I mean? A big thing is just one day at a time. And finally on that note, do one thing for you every day. That's like the non negotiable thing. Like, let's say you work all day and then you're like, I'm just. I'll keep with working out. You're like, I'm gonna go work out right after work. That'll be my thing. But yeah, I have to go grocery shopping, but I told my friend I'd meet her, but I told my mom I'd call her. But I have bills to do. But nope, I'm working out and I'm putting everything on the back burner, and I'm doing that. And let the chips fall where they may, and you'll pick up the pieces after. But take that, you know, half hour and do something for yourself, whatever that is, before you go. Tackle all your other things on your to do list that will make you feel like it's not a commitment. Actually, it's a rebellious thing that you're doing for yourself versus if you make it one of the things on your to do list. Does that make sense? Okay, so the MMSF had their wonderful life hacks for a purple two and advice for a purple two. And I feel like we need go over there and check it out. And I'd love for you to read and add your own and let's keep this thread going and see what more we can add to it. But a reoccurring theme that I saw in all of your advice was listen to your intuition. Like, listen to your gut. It's not wrong. And being listening to your gut intuition isn't necessarily judgmental. I think judging a book by its cover is something that purples can actually sometimes do, you know? And when you look back in your life in times that you didn't listen to yourself, your first impression was probably pretty dead on. And then after that, was your ego trying to tell you, no, that's mean, or, no, that's not right, or give them a chance, or like, whatever. Gut feelings and purples go hand in hand. And your emotions are always linked to, like, your body. So if you feel it in your body, like, I feel sick around this person, or I'm immediately feeling anxious, or immediately hear the word no, you know, you don't have to know it right away. You just have to know that you're right. Okay? You don't have to know it right away. You just have to know that you're right. You'll figure out the reason why later. You don't have to do that. You don't always have to justify your gut feelings is what I'm trying to say. That is what came up a lot in all of your advice, and I feel like I really liked this. One of you wrote something called Afgo. Afgo. That every time something complicated came into their life, or like I was talking before, like a mistake or something, they call it an afgo moment. Afgo, another effing growth moment. Okay. Or growth opportunity. Another effing growth opportunity. So it's rephrasing and reframing stuff that happens to you and things that you feel like are caused by your, quote, disorganization and telling yourself, nope, this is another opportunity for me to grow and change and have a cool experience and learn something. Because again, for purples, it's like, there's the way things are supposed to work and the way you work, and it doesn't mean you're wrong. You just don't follow the rules, you know? So again, can't wait to hear more of your purple isms and purple advice over on the Mystic Michaela Spiritual Family Facebook page. Hey, Scotty.
Scott
Hey guys. All right, so a lot of the inspiration for your talk today came from the Facebook group.
Mystic Michaela
Yes.
Scott
And you posted to the purples and you know what it's like to be a purple. And they gave some incredible advice and fun advice. Really, really fun thread. I highly recommend read it even if you're not purple. Very interesting. I think you're going to read a few now and then maybe we'll do a little overtime. Yeah.
Mystic Michaela
Okay. So Jennifer B. Writes saying this is her tip saying, oh well, my house is a mess. Oh well, I can't find that thing I just bought. Oh well, I'm going to be late for this event. Oh well, this phrase allows me to show myself grace and kindness from the unnecessary pressure I put on myself trying to live up to others expectations. Things are never going to be perfect. And that's okay.
Scott
That's okay.
Mystic Michaela
I loved that. Oh well.
Scott
Yeah.
Mystic Michaela
Nicole T. Writes, you're always be disappointed. You'll always be disappointing someone. Just make sure it's not yourself.
Scott
Okay.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah, that's a big one. Like don't betray yourself.
Scott
They all follow a line on the same kind of thinking though.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
Yeah.
Mystic Michaela
Like what?
Scott
It's kind of like you got to be you.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
Do it, you know, even do what you got to do. Even if you know it's gonna bother people or doesn't fit the mold or if it's outside the box, whatever, creative, all that. It kind of. They all. There's that thread that kind of runs through all these.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah. Purples always feel like a misfit.
Scott
Yeah.
Mystic Michaela
In a lot of ways. So it's kind of against that.
Scott
And, but in the, in the advice they're saying fight against you.
Mystic Michaela
Fight against it.
Scott
Fight against it.
Mystic Michaela
Ernestine B. Writes, and I loved this. Do it for the plot.
Scott
Okay.
Mystic Michaela
And then Madeline C. Like commented on it and said, yes, I love the. If anything, it will make a good story later. Okay. I say this all the time to myself. I'm like, you know what? Like let's just see what happens. You know, like let's see what crap show this turns out to be and it'll be at least really funny to talk about or think about later.
Scott
Yeah. One purple said, giving advice to purples. Don't do anything after 2am nothing good happens after 2am so if you're purple, I guess be in bed by two.
Mystic Michaela
But did you see the comments on that? They were like, oh no. All the fun stuff happens after 2am and Jennifer K. Writes, try something new. You are never stuck if you don't like it, you can always shift gears again. Move to a new city. But don't like it, move back. It's true. You're not a tree. You don't have roots. And you're great at kind of landing on your feet. Even if it's not pretty, you'll land on your feet. I just. I really appreciate the purple. Msfs. Be purple.
Scott
We're giving you permission to be purple.
Mystic Michaela
And now we're giving you permission to leave because we're doing overtime.
Scott
Exactly.
Mystic Michaela
And the rules of overtime are it's.
Scott
On you, not on us. Anything we say is on you.
Mystic Michaela
It's on you.
Scott
Right. So you can go ahead and go now.
Mystic Michaela
Yes, you can leave overtime.
Scott
All right, let me think here. Well, we had an issue again with the fridge, if you remember, a few overtimes back.
Mystic Michaela
This is so dull.
Scott
This is so boring.
Mystic Michaela
But this is a big deal for us.
Scott
Not purple at all. I paid $212. And this is actually when I got a new spirit guide. By the way, people, I now have Mikey. He's from New York.
Mystic Michaela
That's true.
Scott
He replaced Phoebe. Phoebe is still drinking her tequila somewhere. We don't know. I haven't seen her in months.
Mystic Michaela
That is actually so true. Like, the fridge issue brought in a new spirit guy.
Scott
Our fridge breaking brought a new spirit guide to me. Mikey from New York.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
And someone pointed out that the cost of the bill was $212. And that's the area code of Manhattan.
Mystic Michaela
Right. Because I thought he was, like, a New York City cab driver.
Scott
Exactly.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
Yeah, he is.
Mystic Michaela
Because if you listen to the first story, he, like, spoke to you.
Scott
Yes.
Mystic Michaela
You know, anyways.
Scott
Yeah. So anyway, that was maybe one of the lowest points of my life when I gave someone $212 to just tell me to defrost. Lost my fridge.
Mystic Michaela
And you guys, this guy said things happen to him. So that being the lowest point.
Scott
It was. I was so depressed.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah, you were. You were upset.
Scott
Yeah. I don't know. You know, I'm a red. I can't handle these guys.
Mystic Michaela
You felt, like, diminished.
Scott
Yes. So the other day, the fridge working totally fine.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
All of a sudden, decides it's not going to dispense water.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
And it breaks. I guess.
Mystic Michaela
This is first world problems, people.
Scott
Yeah, first world problem.
Mystic Michaela
Like the fridge. How do we drink? Right?
Scott
So you know, when I'm trying everything, I'm like, all right, I'll defrost the fridge.
Mystic Michaela
Right?
Scott
Doing all the tricks. I know everything. I'm hitting things, banging things.
Mystic Michaela
Oh, it's A day.
Scott
Nothing's working.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
You know, I'm changing the filter. I buy a new filter, do all these things.
Mystic Michaela
Meanwhile, the children are parched.
Scott
Yes. I'm running. I'm running the Publix to get water.
Mystic Michaela
Five Stanley's a day.
Scott
Guys, I personally think you could use the sink water, but. Okay, fine.
Mystic Michaela
Right.
Scott
You have to have the filtered water. Whatever. So, you know, I'm getting frustrated.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
And now I'm thinking, all right, what are my options? Okay. Should I just put in a whole water filtration system into the house?
Mystic Michaela
Yeah, I looked into that.
Scott
Really? All we need is filtered water.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
Okay. Because we don't trust the water here in Florida.
Mystic Michaela
I mean, do you blame us?
Scott
No, you can't blame us for that. So I'm going through all these things, and there's one thought in my head is, am I going to have to call a fridge guy to just repair this? Probably an easy fix. It's probably not a big fix. Right. It's probably not that hard. It's just water coming out of a fridge.
Mystic Michaela
Hard?
Scott
Could that be. And I'm like, no, there's no way it's going to happen.
Mystic Michaela
Right.
Scott
Like, I went total red. I'm like, I would rather buy a new fridge every single year. Because this fridge is new. It's only a year and a half old.
Mystic Michaela
Yes.
Scott
I would rather buy a fridge every year, new.
Mystic Michaela
Right.
Scott
Than ever have a repairman come to this house again to replace them.
Mystic Michaela
So Scott's doing a red or a spiral. He's just ranting, as he just did now, but in the middle of the kitchen with, like, defrosted freezer juice everywhere. And I'm like, you know, I don't know much. I don't know much, but I do know how to YouTube, you know? So I'm like, all right, this has to be on YouTube. Like, I swear, if you're purple, there's YouTube, there's Reddit. Those two together, like, you are unstoppable. Like. So I used my skills with YouTube Reddit, and I found the exact way to probably maybe fix what was going on.
Scott
Yeah, I went to Home Depot and had a fridge in the cart like, that I was just gonna buy.
Mystic Michaela
You're like, I'm like, I'm buying this fridge.
Scott
No, I was.
Mystic Michaela
I was gonna buy, but I found, like. I'm like, okay, like, here's the manufacturer. And then I won't touch anything. So I'm scared to touch things because I will mess it up. But I will at least show you a Video. And then you're like, I can do that. I can do that.
Scott
Yeah. Well, I had remembered that the old fridge there, the filter. Oh God, this is so boring.
Mystic Michaela
You don't need to explain this.
Scott
All right. The filter goes into a piece of like a holder.
Mystic Michaela
It's like the filter holder.
Scott
Right. And I used to fix that all the time on the old fridge.
Mystic Michaela
Right. Okay.
Scott
So I realized, oh wait, this one must have a holder too.
Mystic Michaela
Needed a new filter.
Scott
Need a new filter holder. So we bought the filter holder.
Mystic Michaela
Great.
Scott
And then the fun began.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah. So the problem with is like. And I again, YouTube's great. And there's always some dad on there that's teaching you how to do something very well. But we don't have any tools.
Scott
No.
Mystic Michaela
Like, cuz like I don't care, you know? And you don't care.
Scott
Yeah. Because we needed. What did you need?
Mystic Michaela
I'm got like a nut.
Scott
A nut nut butter.
Mystic Michaela
Nut butter. What was it called?
Scott
It was like a screwdriver that has a hole at the end.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah. And they acted like it was. I think it was. I think it was like a nut hole.
Scott
This is overtime, people.
Mystic Michaela
Honestly, like, they acted like it was such a normal tool.
Scott
Yeah.
Mystic Michaela
You know, And I was like, what's a nut hole? I don't think it was called that. But we didn't have that nutcracker. So our neighbor across the street, neighbor Aaron, she had a nut. She is a green dad and she has. But she's also purple. So she doesn't understand all the tools stocked in her garage. She just knows that her green dad puts them there. So sometimes if three, two purples and a red go into across the street neighbor Aaron's garage, like we'll find something. Like there's definitely. And there was like a nut hole in there.
Scott
There was a nut hole in there. The only problem with this nut hole that could be at the new Jamachi was that it was like the wrong size nut. We needed a 516 nut hole.
Mystic Michaela
Right. We're like, what? Who side ranch. What 516 nut hole? Can you make everything the same GD size?
Scott
This nut hole was like a 5 14.
Mystic Michaela
Like. Yeah. Like, what is this?
Scott
So it worked on some of the screws. Not at all the screws.
Mystic Michaela
So we're like, what the frick?
Scott
So we had a jimmy some screws with our old methods. You know, just like we'll take a fork and try to get it out.
Mystic Michaela
I'm real big on like butter knife.
Scott
Yeah.
Mystic Michaela
Butter knife could do a lot. Anyway, so long story. Short. We did it.
Scott
We did it.
Mystic Michaela
It was amazing.
Scott
We took the whole panel off the back fridge. We did together. So we put our red and blue.
Mystic Michaela
Me, Reddit, YouTube, purple and to go.
Scott
You. Yeah. And we, we, we did it. Screw by screw. Yeah. Okay. It was like a three minute video.
Mystic Michaela
Oh, my God. I took pictures of everything too. Like, this is how you put it back together. Yeah.
Scott
And we forgot to take the one picture.
Mystic Michaela
I took the wrong picture of everything.
Scott
Except which way the panel goes on the back.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah. Back to the purple and me.
Scott
Yeah. So that picture we forgot. But we took the whole fridge apart on the bottom.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
Unplugged, you know, did all the things turn the water off, by the way? We learned that the hard way the first time. Never turned the water off, by the way. Don't a flood.
Mystic Michaela
But the hose.
Scott
The hose. Kitchen was flooded. It was just, get a bucket, get a bucket. It was screaming to the kids, get buckets. There's just water coming everywhere. But we even turned off the water.
Mystic Michaela
Okay.
Scott
And we put the filter into the. A lot of weird references here, you know, into the thing that goes into the holder.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
And it worked. Okay.
Mystic Michaela
So we turned out it worked. Long story short, we did it. We high fived. We felt. I mean, you don't understand, you guys, like the amount of self esteem this has given us. We feel so flipping successful in life.
Scott
You don't understand. People have been coming around asking for our handyman help.
Mystic Michaela
Well, okay, so it was just across the street. Aaron.
Scott
Yep.
Mystic Michaela
Again, her alarm. So because we are so high vibe.
Scott
Right?
Mystic Michaela
People know this fixer upper.
Scott
Exactly.
Mystic Michaela
People across the street. Erin. Her alarm wouldn't stop. Go on. And it was the whole house alarm, which is weird because she doesn't pay for it and we don't. She never turns it on and it never worked ever before. And then it just decided to like, be really loud. And she's like, I need your help. And we're, we put. I put on my, you know, sandals and we run over there because we can't fix much, but we can break stuff.
Scott
Oh, we can. We can get that alarm off.
Mystic Michaela
And we did. And we did with YouTube and Reddit and Scott's never afraid to just like, I don't know, pull things out of walls.
Scott
I pull, I bang.
Mystic Michaela
I nut hole.
Scott
I nut hole. I screw.
Mystic Michaela
I unscrew, unscrew, Nuthole.
Scott
Yeah. And we did it.
Mystic Michaela
Smash everything.
Scott
And I checked my email just a minute ago and we have like four more requests.
Mystic Michaela
What do you need?
Scott
People want us to do things for them.
Mystic Michaela
Now the whole. Her whole system's broken, which she said, I don't care. That's fine.
Scott
That's never working again.
Mystic Michaela
Okay.
Scott
It's never gonna work again.
Mystic Michaela
Ask your green dad if you want that fixed.
Scott
Yeah, we cannot get that started again. And it'll never get started again.
Mystic Michaela
But look at us.
Scott
But look.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah, we have an amazing amount of self esteem.
Scott
And the alarm shine. We got the alarm off. Yeah, we did.
Mystic Michaela
Oh, yeah. No, we. It was. It's broken now. It doesn't work. But that's. That's what she wanted, right?
Scott
We did it.
Mystic Michaela
So I don't know what the moral of the story is, except you can do it.
Scott
Yeah. I think the moral of the story is when you're on this high vibration, people will feel it.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah, they do.
Scott
And, you know, this changed our lives. And. And I am so happy that I did not, because, you know, I bought the part. The part was like 65. Yeah. I was okay with that, but if I called a repairman, he would have charged me like double the part. He probably like 150 bucks for that part. And then he would charge me like 212.
Mystic Michaela
Rant it up, Scott.
Scott
To. To fix it.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
I'm in a 500 day.
Mystic Michaela
Yeah.
Scott
And I did it. We did it.
Mystic Michaela
The part cost 65 bucks.
Scott
Yes. Yeah, Something like that.
Mystic Michaela
Then we had to buy something.
Scott
Yeah.
Mystic Michaela
More filters. It was 50.
Scott
Yeah. And I bought the real one. Next time I'm gonna buy the dupe because the dupes only like 30 bucks.
Mystic Michaela
I think that's what caused this problem in the first place, though. Well, anywho, if you ever want to feel like a boss.
Scott
Yeah.
Mystic Michaela
Fix something yourself.
Scott
I told everyone. I told everyone at the gym. They were applauding me.
Mystic Michaela
Really.
Scott
They praised me. They couldn't believe it.
Mystic Michaela
