Michaela spiritual family, welcome to Know youw Aura with mystic Michaela. Today we are talking about aura and addiction. We are going to talk about how addiction suppresses the soul, how you can notice it amplified in each aura color, and how to compassionately reach out to those who are suffering from addiction. But first. Hey, Scotty.
A
Hey, guys.
B
All right, so I really feel very passionate about this approach to this episode because a real pet peeve I have, and that's a light way to put it, is in society immediately, when society as a whole. Oh, so and so passed of an overdose or. Or somebody was an addict, immediately you see their life begin to be devalued. Oh, they were an addict. Oh, it was an overdose. Oh, you know, and that. Nothing. I don't. That really bothers me. It really, really upsets me because addiction is an affliction. It's a disease, and it's something that does not take away from someone's worth. And I really wanted to hone in on that today.
A
Yeah. I mean, if I really think about it, addiction really, I mean, for the most part, is a disease of the 3D.
B
Yes.
A
I mean, if we. Let's just think about this for a second.
B
Yeah.
A
Which one do you want to take? Gambling, alcohol, Pharmaceutical companies. All they're trying to do, these companies, in my mind, is.
B
Is get you addicted. Yeah.
A
I mean, you know, I mean, the super bowl, half the commercials are for beer or pharmaceuticals.
B
Yeah. Substances.
A
For substances.
B
Yes.
A
And they want you to be addicted to it. Yeah, it's a. Yeah. I don't know if they. I know they always say, like, oh, please don't, you know, if you need help gambling.
B
Yeah. Well, they have. That's B.S. yeah.
A
They.
B
They have to do that. We don't believe you.
A
I don't believe that for a second. They want us to go to the. To the casino. You want us to drink more beer or alcohol. You want us to take, you know, more pills to solve problems.
B
Yes. Escape. Escape. Escape.
A
Yeah. So, I mean, These are all 3D constructs, you know, I don't know.
B
It's to separate you from your soul identity. And so the ego. And I'm going to talk about this. Addiction is a disease, like you said, of the 3D. It's really a disease of the ego, and it amplifies the ego characteristics so that you cannot get close to, you know, the higher self, the soul self and whatnot. I'm going to talk about that today. But. But when somebody suffers from an affliction like that, it doesn't mean that they're valueless or they don't have worth or. Or they're not worth listening to. I do so many readings with people who have suffered from addiction, people who have loved, people who have suffered from addiction, people who have passed from unfortunate incidences through addiction. And, and it's always a case of there's a human in there, there's a person in there, there's somebody who's truly struggling. And hopefully through the lens of aura today, we can find ways to reach out, connect, or at the very least, it provides a compassionate lens on which to look at this, which is different than what society provides.
A
Yeah, I totally agree with that. We're just, you know, an empath, empathetic view.
B
Yes, definitely is what we're going to do today. All right, so when I come back, we're going to talk about that. Hey, Scotty.
A
Hey, guys. You know, I got to tell you something. There's. There was this bottle of One Skin by your sink the other day.
B
I've been.
A
I've been using that. Do you care?
B
No, it's the. I think you've been using the OS1 face.
A
I think so.
B
Your skin has been looking more hydrated and supple.
A
I feel it's been more supple. I feel the supple. I'm pulling on it right now and it's feeling really.
B
Look at that elasticity. Yes, it's been improved. Yes. But for real, I have been using one skin OS one face on my face twice a day, morning and night, and the OS one eye on for under my eyes. And then I've been using the OS 1 lip peptide, which let me tell you, that has made my lips, I feel, have. They've appeared more plump and full. One Skin is all about the science, and that's why I really appreciate what they're doing. Their founding team are longevity researchers and they asked a simple question. If many visible signs of aging, like wrinkles or fine lines or loss of elasticity, are driven by so called zombie cells, what if you could actually reduce those cells to slow the aging process down instead of just covering it up? Born from over a decade of longevity research, OneSkin's OS1 peptide is proven to target the vis signs of aging, helping you unlock your healthiest skin now. And as you age, for a limited time, try one skin with 15 off using code KYA at OneSkin CO. KYA, that's 15 off OneSkin CO with code kya. After you purchase, they'll ask you where you heard about them. Please support our show and tell them that we sent you. Today we are going to talk about addiction and. And the aura. Okay? So I have wanted to do this episode for a very long time, as addiction unfortunately shows up in a lot of my readings, and it shows up in a lot of our lives. Addiction is so prevalent, it's touched many of our lives, unfortunately. And my preface before we really go deep into this. Obviously, I'm not a doctor. I'm not a mental health professional. I'm not an addiction specialist or therapist. This is just an energy take. And these professionals are definitely the ones who we need to go to for assistance and help and guidance. My goal with this episode is a lens of compassion to addiction. A lens of a path back to yourself if you're dealing with it. A lens of how to reach someone who is actively suffering it. And you yourself may be struggling with addiction. Perhaps you've loved someone who struggles with addiction. Perhaps both. Here's the deal. I want you to know something. Addiction has nothing to do with your own self worth. And I'm going to talk about this more later. But you have to understand, no matter what you've done, no matter what has happened, no matter what has happened to you, there is a part of you that comes from that which is greater than us. And it cannot be destroyed because it is part of a bigger collective. So I want you to know that suffering from addiction does not take away from your worth. And if you've loved someone who suffered from addiction, that also is not taken from your worth. Because if you think about it, if you had a partner who suffered from addiction or a parent, a lot of times you. You're sitting there and you're thinking, aren't I a good enough reason to get better? And when you aren't, you know, and it doesn't quite work out that way, you can interpret that as something to do with your own worth. And that, too needs to be said. Today I'm going to talk about how addiction interacts with the soul itself and the aura. How it shows up in aura colors as I see them. And how to use this aura information to get through to those who are in need of help. But I say that with little caveats, because remember, you can't control anyone but yourself. So these are some lenses for compassion and love and outreach. But at the end of the day, everybody really has to want to get better. You can't be addicted to saving people who don't want to get better because. And that's a lot of you who I'm talking To as well. You can't throw yourself on the pyre for somebody who doesn't want to get better, you know, because then that makes you addicted to the addiction in a different way. So first, let's talk about addiction in the soul. First of all. And I can't stress this enough, addiction, the way I see it, it's an affliction. When I read someone's aura and they struggle with addiction, it feels like a foreign kind of disease that has settled upon them. It really is a disease. They say it's a disease and it feels like a disease, but it's a disease of the ego. What is your ego? I talk about that a lot around here. Your ego is the part of you that you get in this human body. On this earthly plane, it keeps you alive. It looks around, it sees what everybody else has. You know, it keeps you safe. It says, don't make changes because changes mean death. It's very. The ego is very black and white. You have to pick this or pick that. Nothing can be gray areas. Everything's black or white. And the ego, it's not a bad thing. We to love our ego because does just want to keep us alive. On this earthly plane, it does. But addiction comes in and it takes your ego and it completely hijacks it. And what it does is it suppresses your soul, and it makes your ego act out, act out a thousand times more than it should. And that's why everyone with addiction has the same symptoms, the same ego behavior symptoms. They lie. They're sneaky inconsistencies. They don't show up. They appear selfish. Okay? They have very VIP behavior. I can't do that today. I have to do that. Like, what are you doing? You know, like that. And this is just ego behavior that is just exacerbated by addiction. And the big thing is, is addiction suppresses the soul. It suppresses the higher self, your spirit guides and the entire universe's conversation with you. It suppresses your potential. It. It suppresses your life path. It suppresses all your dreams and hopes. It suppresses your ability to learn from what life throws at you. And your ego, through your ego, does not like change. It doesn't like to know things. It doesn't like to reflect and learn because that means that you change. So on a good day, even without addiction, we're always battling the ego. That's why you don't sometimes like to hear things that are true. Because when you hear it and you hear something that hurts, you're like, oh, I don't like that, you know, but you learn and you work through it and you get better for it, right? But when you have an addiction, the addiction suppresses that really well and you don't learn anything. So it really isn't a disease of the ego. The way I see it, I guess, how we crawl out of addiction, that's the thing we're responsible for, knowing two things can be true. You have a disease, okay? It's something that you're afflicted with and you did hurt people while suffering it. Two things can be true. You can be sorry about that for those that you've hurt, but you can also make sure that you don't feel like you're worthless as a person. And I can't stress that enough. Here's my own take. I myself have not dealt with addiction in myself, but I sure have loved addicts in my life. And I have seen it firsthand and I've been affected firsthand by it. And I have a lot of compassion for them. And I definitely speak addiction because of. And just like any of you that have dealt with somebody who has an addiction issue, you get it too, all right? You just know how they think, you know how they think, you know how it goes. And what I've learned is, and not just in my own life, but in readings, all this just comes from insecurities, trauma and a need to protect. The ego attempts to protect as it destroys through addiction. The soul always begs to be freed. They always, somewhere in them are just broken little bits screaming out for help. So every single person wants help. It's just, can you dig through the ego? Can you get through that crack? Can you find a way in? Can you do it for yourself? You know, can you support others while they find it for themselves? That's the ticket. When I come back, I'm going to talk about aura colors and addiction. Hey, Scotty.

How does addiction show up in every aura color? Because it is true. Every single. Anybody can get an addiction. Anybody can be afflicted with this disease. So every aura color, I see it on everyone. You know, it's pretty universal. But every aura color operates a little differently when they're suffering it. So let's talk about it. So I'm going to start with greens. Greens are tough when they have addiction issues because it's kind of all the things that are green. They're very smart. Greens are very smart and they're very systematic. And I always say it's like the ten commandments of the green. They come up with their own logic about everything. So when the ego comes in and hijacks all those awesome gifts and. And make it, here's all the reasons why I don't have a problem, or this is necessary for me, or this is the only way I can do things. That gets harder to crack because you have to go in and crack their own logic. And greens are pretty good at making big old fortresses around what they already think is true. So they can have a really hard time giving up the logic around their addiction because it makes sense to them. Perhaps they don't think it's a problem. I see it a lot sometimes with green auras. And they might even think that it enhances them. They might think that whatever substance they're using makes them better at something. They might find reasons and rationale. Their ego is really good at finding all the reasons why this is great. See. See how much better you are. See how much. See how much smarter. See how much more efficient. See how much more successful this makes you. And also addiction. With greens, they can avoid feelings, and greens already tend to kind of do that. They like to kind of separate their emotions and compartmentalize naturally to make sound decisions about things which makes them. Which makes green or is great listeners. But when the addiction comes in and ego hijacks that, it makes them really good at pushing all their feelings into a box under the bed and not accessing that box anymore. And that is where it gets hard, because then they forget where those Feelings are they, oh, where did I put those? And we need that to kind of break through. So how do you get through? So here are just a couple tips for getting through to a green aura who's suffering from addiction. New logic to replace old logic. I noticed that green auras really enjoy philosophy. Thought leaders, new ways of looking at something. They new, new challenges like a new workout regimen or a project or learning how to do something that is very specialized. They need a new pattern which is all encompassing, all encompassing to focus on instead. So basically, they need to kind of get very laser focused on something that's not their addiction and put all their energy into that to kind of break them free. Let's talk about yellows and addiction. Yellow auras in addiction are often very good at staying functional. So it's kind of hard to spot them. They have a less. They have way less ability to be called out. They cover their tracks a lot better than other aura colors, which makes it really hard to catch them. They're not, I mean, yellow auras, if they're starting to get messy in life, their addiction's at a level of actually really far gone. So that is scary. When a yellow starts getting messy and people are catching them on it. That's to me, usually the way I see it, that's a very severe addiction happening. They get very I told you so yellow sometimes. Meaning they create logic which negates all over all other perspectives which would change their behavior. Meaning, well, you don't feel that way, you feel this way. So if you come to your mom or something and she's yellow and she has an addiction issue, you might be like, hey, I'm feeling like this is what's happening. Or you're not present. No, you're not. I made dinner. We're here. What are you talking about? You know, they don't want to hear it. And they negate any reality that doesn't fit into their own. And perfectionism really drives them. So they are so yellows are just. They don't miss a beat. They see details. So they're very good at making sure they're keeping up and then saving time to do what they wanna do too, with their addiction. How do you get through to a yellow or an addiction? Usually self improvement can, I don't know, ring that bell? How? Changing behavior can be an accomplishment. Wow, you have an addiction. You can get through it. How can you get through it? How can you talk about this? Let's reframe addiction as some sort of personal challenge that you're going to triumph over learning about themselves is usually really attractive to yellow auras. They really enjoy new therapies. Oh, all of them trying. I found out about this new EMDR technique. I'm finding out about you. They love that, you know, they, they, they're more open to it. They like new ways of speaking, new vocabulary. They like to get curious about being sober, about being healthy, and the language in the world that's around that. It's a way you can try to kind of spark them back. How about reds? Red auras are in addiction, are very aggressive, very zero to 60. They're very convincing. I'm fine. They can act very functional too. But the problem is they can appear in control because they have an issue with admitting something has control over them. So they have a lot of addiction switching. I notice with reds, like, maybe they'll go all out at gambling, realize like, okay, logically, maybe this is a problem. My bank accounts are drained. My wife's not happy. People are noticing that I'm strapped financially. Okay, I'm not cold turkey. But then all of a sudden, now they're drinking, you know, too much. So it's kind of like they'll switch addictions. Another thing with red auras is they can get very risk taking behavior. They're driving too fast. They're taking chances physically that are dangerous. They can get very angry. They can start fights with people, and you worry about them going out and getting pummeled. You know, like you worry about them getting hurt. They can be very scary when, when they're in their addiction. How do you get through to a red? Well, red auras coming out of addiction, I notice, are often really good at being role models and helping others. I mean, coaching, leading groups, working out. I mean, they're not scared of anyone. So red auras who are on a sober journey are very good at calling people out. Like, hey, I know I were. I was you. Let's talk. You can't BS me. Let's. Let's have this conversation. And also just being a really good role model, leading others out of this darkness, that they've been there. And they like being the person who can be strong enough to drag others out, you know, from where, where they once were. And then they can get. I noticed like red or is. You can say like, hey, red. Or is they like, BMOC energy, Big man on campus energy. Okay, BWOC energy, Big woman on campus energy. They like to be someone that's like, hey, ask her. She'll talk to us about this. I'D love to, you know, so they, they don't shy away from giving people that pep talk. Those were the logic auras. And we're gonna talk about when we get back the empath auras and how they're different. Hey, Scotty.
A

That's 60% off your first order plus Free shipping when you head to smalls dot com kya so we talked about people who have red, yellow and green auras and addiction. And now we're going to talk about the empath auras with addiction issues. That's indigo, turquoise. That's pink. That's purple. That's blue. A little note here. Those who have a logic color and have an addiction issue usually will be exhibiting the ego traits of their logic colors. Okay, so I notice like if you are yellow, purple you're going to be exhibiting a lot of the yellow. So stuff outwardly. If you are red, blue you're going to and you have an addiction issue, you're going to be more red. If you're green, purple, you're going to act More green. Like, outwardly, that's, like. That's the thing. That's the. But when you have a double empath with an addiction issue, there's nothing for them to hide behind. So I'm talking about, like, if you're blue, purple, or, you know, your indigo turquoise or something, this is. This is where it's hard, because getting sober becomes this, like, avalanche of regret, emotion, sadness without reprieve or shelter. Like, the logic aura colors can give you. So, like, not that the people of red, green, and yellow don't deal with intense onslaughts of guilt and shame and anxiety and stress. Of course they do. It's just they have a bit of, like, that logic. Color can help them deflect it or shield it or compartmentalize it or put a barrier around it. They can balance a little bit. When you have a double empath color and now you're coming out of addiction, and this is, like, honestly, the number one reason I feel like people with double empath auras don't want to get better because they don't want to feel all the regret of everything that they know they've done and all the people that they know they've hurt. And then they have to feel not only their own feelings about it, they have to feel everyone else's feelings about it, too, including, especially, like, if they have their parents and they did things to their kids or their own parents or, you know, there's so many feelings. So if you're a double empath aura and you're coming out of addiction, it can be really, really hard. And they need. I feel they need just, like, a little. You need to understand that with them. But the good part about if you have a double empath aura is you're much easier to get very. They're a lot quicker to admit they have a problem. So we got that on our side. Whereas the logic auras, it's harder to get them admit they have a problem. If you got, like, a purple blue with an addiction issue, chances are they're like, oh, yeah, I totally have an addiction issue. They'll just be honest. Like, oh, I do. No, it's true. All right, so let's start with purples. Purple auras, they. Out of all the aura colors, the purples will probably admit the most freely that they do have an issue. They can accept that they have an issue a lot easier, because, I mean, purples just generally in life are used to kind of, you know, making mistakes or being the odd one out or being, you know, more inventive. With how they deal with life. They have a low. The problem when they're in addiction is they have a very low ability to say no to things. So it's a lot of self destructive behavior, impulsive behavior. They cross lines easier between life and death. They take risks with what they're trying to to do. You know, they don't have these limitations on them. They're just like, they just go for it. They get down to the low self worth really quickly. They like to their. Their ego, this affliction over their ego will make them let's see how low I can go. Let's see how low I can go. And they're not as afraid of death. So that's really freaky when you're dealing with a purple. How do you get through purples on a good day? And especially in addiction, they need to talk about the darkness. Purples love shadow work. They like to create in with words or art or talking. They like to listen to music about it. They like to be around others who want to talk about it. They aren't scared of the darkness. And to get out of the darkness, they need to talk about it openly and freely. So finding words for that, making connections for others to understand and being authentic and real to those who need that sort of wake up call, knowing that they can be the person to keep it real. To be honest, in a way others cannot. I do see a lot of purples working with addicts. Like I see a lot of past addict purple auras working with recovering addicts or people in rehab or whatnot. They're just great therapists because they're like, let's just talk about it. And they like to keep it real. And they're real too and they drop the shame quicker. What about blue auras? Blue auras and addiction can get very into their head. So depression, really sad feelings. They can immediately use addiction to dismiss those heaviness or guilt or kind of block them from feeling sad about things or like everything's their fault. They can see their addiction then as a friend or a confidant, a comfort. They can be alone a lot more when they are using. How do you get through to a blue aura? You have to get them involved in creating community for others. Like how can we create community spaces and context for people to feel not so alone? How can we be a parental figure for those lost souls in the world who do need love or do need a hug or do need a friend? You got to get them back to connecting with God's light. You know, like how do we work in spaces where we're taking care of these populations who just need a hug or need to be seen like you did. You needed to be seen as a blue. And you can do that for others. Like, here's a blanket, here's a cup of soup, here's help, here's a shoulder, here's an ear to listen to you. So getting them involved in the community. So I mean, I see them like doing really well work in the AA meetings. Like they're the ones kind of like who's doing cookies this week, you know, like that kind of thing. Like let like making it cozy, making it nice, making it approachable, making it friendly. You know, that's kind of like put them to work, put a blue to work. They love to work. And when they, when they're helping others, they tend to focus on that instead of what is causing them to distract into their addiction. What about Indigos? Indigos hide their addiction really well because they know everyone's tells. And they can use their ability to kind of read other people to make sure they're not found out until it's too late. So they can see addiction as a break from their heads, a break from their absorbency to others. It's like a shelter or from feeling. People invade their energetic space. A lot of time, Indigos don't feel like they can share their feelings. So addiction comes in. And now I don't have feelings, so I don't have to worry about sharing them. I noticed that Indigos will work addiction into their psyche. It's their self story. It's hard to get them to admit it, like, oh, I'm not an addict. I just do this, you know, whatever, you know, this is just part. This is who I am, this is what I'm doing. This is separate from that. So they can deny it a lot, even to themselves a bit. How do you get through an Indigo? They have to know that their insight really does matter. That what they say, how they feel, how they notice things, their nuances, it can make a difference for others who need to hear it, who need to make these connections. They need to be in context where they're helping other people do shadow work, wake up to their shadow selves. So I find that Indigos do really well in therapy and they move on. I feel like in sobriety to helping others. Let's talk about it. Let me be open about it. Let me share with you. Let me make you feel safe enough so that you can admit it too. You know, let's. Let's. Make this a safe, cozy spot. They. They really are into outreaching to those who feel abandoned or unheard, and also speaking out to the little nuances. Like, perhaps you used to do this, maybe you used to do that. Maybe you used to tell yourself this. So kind of they call out the behaviors, the indigo behaviors of lying to yourself to a way that maybe others are like, oh, wait a second, I do do that. Oh, you know, it's calling them out in those ways, and they have to know that they can do this, and it makes a difference. Turquoises. Turquoises. I feel like addiction can, because turquoises and identity are always a thing. So it's kind of like addiction can come in and be like, oh, here, you want an identity? Ooh, start using this substance. Ooh, now you have an identity. Now you're part of a crowd. Now you fit in, you know, and it's real sneaky. And sometimes they can masquerade as kind of, you know, those little community. Community type. Oh, that's not a substance. That's that, you know, those. You all know what I'm talking about. The kind of drugs that live on the fringe. Yeah. And they can feel. Okay. Well, this addiction makes me part of this subculture, this group or space. I am a. Whatever user. Okay. It can be an identity marker for their ego. So they can have a hard time separating their logic from use, and they can feel like they need the substance to feel grounded or like a set separate space from others so they can start to basically be gaslit by the addiction that this is who they are, and it's not bad for them. How do you get through to a turquoise? I feel like turquoises don't. You know, they're hard. They're a little harder because they don't like to be preached at a whole lot. So you kind of have to put them in the position of, can you please educate others on what you've been through? You know, not a hand holder, but a lantern holder. Can you please illuminate pathways out of addiction for other people who may have fallen into it the way you are have. I feel addiction with turquoises can almost be like a cultish experience. So it's like, speak to not just the addiction, but the culture around it that was also toxic. And you have to illuminate the path for others to get out of it the way that you got out of it. So you kind of got to put turquoises in this thought pattern of being. Listen, like, you're. You're a thought leader in how to get out of this, you have to be empowered in your own soulful, sober mindset and remind others the journey of that is beautiful and scary. I find a lot of turquoises have spiritual awakening and sobriety kind of commingle together. Pink aura's last one. Pink aura is an addiction. It's a lot of it. It's about the bubble, the joy bubble. Joy bubble is great. Joy bubbles, healthy joy bubble, spiritual. Until the ego comes in and hijacks the joy bubble and says, you visualize or. Or what you're set on or. Or you know, what you've already decided you can handle. How do you get through to Pinks? They need safe spaces to heal. Okay. Like, they need, like, a rehab. Like, a really nice rehab. I know that's expensive. I know. I get it. They need. But it does help them. I think sober living is very helpful for pink auras and then, like, a new life to look forward to for the aligned them. Like, getting them excited about how they can build out a different life out of sobriety. Sobriety becomes the new joy bubble. And it's kind of like you have the ownership and control over your visions now. It's the real you doing it, not the addiction doing it. And Pinks like hearing that because they want control. So deep down, that's like a very big thing to them. So I noticed with pink auras coming out of addiction, sometimes they need to just move. Sometimes they need a change of scenery. Sometimes they need a whole new life kind of thrown at them and telling them that that's okay, and you can have that and you can call the shots inspires them. And I find that's a way to get through. Okay. I need. Obviously, these are just starting points. These are just my own energy thoughts. This is just scratching a surface. We're not solving addiction today, obviously.
