How's it going? You might be a little surprised to hear my voice instead of Abby's, but don't worry, I'm just popping in with some exciting news before you drift back to those cozy bedtime stories. If we haven't met yet, I'm Kelly from our daytime podcast Koala Shine, a podcast full of fun, adventure filled daytime stories you might remember. I stopped by a little while ago to tell you about our Hector and Sunny series and since so many of you loved it, we've created another one just for you. Starting Saturday, May 9, I'll be sharing a brand new four part series, the Jupiter Banished from Magic. We'll be following Jake and Lily as they head off on a mysterious adventure. I can't give too much away, but there's a stolen spell book, some clever doggy detectives, and lots of clues to uncover. Can the Jupiter Twins solve the mystery in time or will they lose their magic forever? And who knows, maybe you can even help solve the mystery by listening out for the clues along the way. So head over to Koala Shine, make sure you're following, and tune in every Saturday in May so you don't miss a single episode. We can't wait for you to join us.

See you there. Hello and welcome back to Abby's Snoozy News, our cozy little roundup from Sleep HQ where we share sleepy chatter about the show, little bits of news from around the Koala Kingdom, and some sneak peeks peeks at future episodes. So snuggle down, get comfortable and let's take a quiet moment together. It's been a little while since we last caught up, and since then we've had Easter. How was your Easter break? I had a lovely time. The days are getting ever Longer, warmer and brighter. Here in Wales, so sunny. And I spent hours in the garden getting things organised and set up for a bumper summer crop of sunflowers, strawberries, veggies and sweet peas. I hope. I know that many of my friends went off skiing or to some sunny beaches. But I find that when everyday life is so busy, sometimes the most satisfying and restorative breaks are the simple ones. When we slow down a little and notice the small things around us. Maybe a colourful flower opening up in the sunshine, a busy bee buzzing around the bushes. Or a cloud drifting past that looks a bit like something funny. Or a quiet moment that makes us stop and think. And that's something I've been thinking about lately. That lovely little feeling when you notice something and your mind starts to wonder, hmm, what's that? I wonder how that got there. I wonder what the tallest tree in sleepy forest is. That feeling has a name. It's called curiosity. Curiosity can be the start of a great adventure or discovery. It might happen when you spot a tiny trail of ants marching carefully across the path. Or when you hear someone singing a song you've never heard before. Or when you discover something tucked away that you hadn't ever noticed. And April feels like a wonderful month for those kinds of discoveries, because everywhere you look, little things seem to be appearing. A flower where there wasn't one before. A new nest in the branches of a tree. A patch of moss growing between stones. Sometimes the world changes so gently that we don't even notice it happening. Until one day we stop and we take a closer look. And that's exactly what Koko has been doing lately on his evening walks through the sleepy forest. He's been taking his time, wandering slowly along the paths and looking carefully at all the little things around him. Not rushing, just exploring. The other evening, he noticed something very curious indeed, right beside his favourite eucalyptus tree. A tiny cluster of mushrooms had appeared. The day before, the ground had been completely clear. But now there they were, standing in a little circle like a miniature forest village. Koko crouched down and studied them carefully, careful not to touch them. Where had they come from? How long had they been growing there? And how many other tiny surprises might be hiding in the forest, waiting patiently to be discovered? Sometimes the most interesting things are the ones we nearly walk past. Now I have a little challenge for you all. The next time you're out on a walk, take a moment to look up high and down low. What things might you have been missing before? What new details can you spot? Perhaps something will spark your curiosity. A statue you've never noticed, an interesting sign, a tiny bug making its way along the path, or even a beautiful building you've walked past many times before. Hmm. Speaking of discovering new things, there has been quite a bit of exciting chatter floating through the Koala Kingdom lately. Over at Leora Academy, something rather big has been happening. Many of you will remember the Jupiter Twins, who've spent quite a bit of time there learning all sorts of magical things. Well, word has it that the twins may soon be stepping into a brand new chapter. Sometimes life brings moments when things begin to shift just a little. There might be new places to see, new ideas to explore, and perhaps even a few surprises along the way. It can feel exciting, a little mysterious, and sometimes just a tiny bit nerve wracking too. But those are often the moments when the most wonderful discoveries begin. So keep an eye out for the next Jupiter Twins episode arriving on the 4th of May. And if you're excited to hear even more about the Jupiter Twins, you can head over to Koala Shine for a brand new four part mystery, all set in lower starry skies starting on the 9th of May. And if you haven't checked out Koala Shine yet, it's our podcast of daytime stories hosted by Kelly, where you can find all sorts of fun adventures to listen to during the day, whether you're in the car, playing at home, or heading out on a little adventure of your own. Meanwhile, back in Sleepy Forest, two of our most energetic friends have a very different adventure heading your way. Yep, I'm talking about Hector and Sunny, of course. We have a brand new episode coming soon called Hector, Sunny and the Magical Hot Air Balloon. Now, these two are never far from a bit of mischief. But this time, their adventure takes them somewhere quite unusual. Up very high up. In this new story, Hector and Sunny climb into a hot air balloon and float gently up into the sky. Just imagine that for a moment. The quiet whoosh of warm air filling the balloon, the soft lift as the basket rises slowly into the air. The forest is growing smaller and smaller below. From high above, they can see the winding paths of Sleepy Forest, the glowing rooftops of Moonbeam Heights, and even the distant sparkle of Harmony Cove. It makes the whole kingdom look like one big place waiting to be explored. And that's not all we have coming from Hector and Sunny. Before long, we'll also be sharing a special two hour compilation of some of their coziest and most adventurous stories. So if you enjoy following along on their playful adventures, you'll soon be able to snuggle in and listen to many of their favourite moments, all gathered together in one very cosy collection. Here's another thought. Do you know what a lovely thing about curiosity is? The more you look, the more you notice. The more you notice, the more interesting the world becomes. Sometimes exploring means travelling somewhere new, but sometimes it simply means slowing down enough to notice the small wonders that are already around you. Maybe a flower blooming beside the path. Maybe a leaf shaped like a tiny heart. Or maybe even a new bedtime story waiting to be discovered. Because every story we listen to is its own little adventure. And there are many wonderful ones waiting for you here in the Koala Kingdom. In fact, our premium listeners will soon be heading to Pillowy Peaks in a special premium episode about Spaghetti the yeti and his friend Snowbelle. The story actually came from a request by one of our lovely listeners, Ruby Moon, who wrote to us with the idea. We thought that it sounded like such a cosy adventure that we simply had to turn it into a story. And Ruby isn't the only one sharing brilliant ideas. Another listener, Wesley, suggested that Cappy and Tito should pay a visit to Potato and Beans Diner, which we thought sounded like a very tasty adventure. So keep an ear out, because that very special crossover will be arriving into the Cocoa Club feed very soon. And to everyone who sends in their ideas, thank you so much. We truly love hearing them, and we try to include as many as we possibly can. I wonder what adventures Spaghetti and Snowbelle will get up to and who they might meet along the way. You'll have to listen or subscribe to find out. So, as you settle down tonight, imagine the Koala Kingdom growing very quiet. The forest paths are still and peaceful. The animals are all tucked up in their cosy homes, and somewhere in the distance, there's a hot air balloon drifting slowly through the evening sky. Now, let's take a slow breath in and let it drift out slowly. Feel your body relaxing against the bed. Your thoughts all become lighter, your mind floating gently towards sleep. Well, I don't know about you, but I'm starting to feel rather sleepy now. Sweet dreams.
