it could just be different circumstances because the different things happen in marriage. So but why people just say get it right first is just that when you get it right first at the beginning in marriage, it helps. But you may get it right at the beginning, go south in the middle and for many reasons. Exactly so. And there's no body. Some people have didn't get it right at the beginning, but it got right in the middle. So it doesn't. You can't judge and say, oh, it's because somebody did not do so. I think that what it is for myself and my husband was, was I was just very clear. We had a conversation about, look, this is my business, I love it and I want to do it forever. So you have to support and this is what you are doing. So it was, it was a, it was not a coral conversation. It was a conversation of just let's talk. Well, of course in the early stages, my husband didn't understand that walking till 2am, 3am, being on the road security wise, he felt why you coming on the road at 3am, stay outside or whatever those things because of security. But I made him understand. I look you what, it doesn't matter. Let me just come. People are on the road at that time. But after a while, sometimes if it's 3 o', clock, four, I will stay and I'll come about 5 o' clock or six. Do you understand what I'm saying? So it's just to understand. So now I will also tell you things is to understand why they are saying it and ask and not jump into conclusions.
Podcast Host
So you believe that the fact that you've had such a supportive husband, that's also part of the reason?
Guest Speaker
Oh yes, definitely grown, definitely supporting husband, children, help peers, EAS staff, all kinds. All kinds. So it's not just me doing anything

it will enter into a whole different, you know, space. But if you want myself and FBO to do a part two of this and just decipher this one, drop it in the comments because we are, we are willing to do it. There are several people within Africa, in fact, let's talk about Nigeria who are struggling to make ends meet. They are struggling because of either the system or the mindset they have about life. What is the one thing that people need to understand when it comes to building wealth for themselves in such an economy? You have done it.
Guest Speaker
This is a very tough question and why do I say it's tough? Anytime I think about when people ask this question I always say that it's important to also understand the circumstances that people have around surrounding them. Some people are, are born, I've not been born into sometimes I'll say the right environment which is not their fault. So some people have been eyeing the right environment but they've not had the right support. Some have the right environment support but maybe they don't have the right financial. So there's a. It's many layers but one thing that I think that everybody just needs to because sometimes even for some people they're just trying to survive. And so you tell them to come and do A and B and they're thinking I've not even eaten today. So I think that maybe more for me it's about the enabling environment that the government has to give to people to just allow people have the basics before they can begin to start thinking of how to even build this wealth. So building wealth or building or having success like I say, some people have just not been in the right place. And when I think about even my life and I think about people that I've been in primary school with, secondary school, university, we've all been on different journeys. Some have, are doing are any billions of dollars, some are not doing as well. Some have got. Life has just taken things in a certain way for them but it didn't mean that they are not, they don't have. And what if they are not working hard? Sometimes I just feel like, and honestly I feel like sometimes I don't want to say time and chance but I think that sometimes time and chance also happens to people. But the mindset that we almost, we must have all the time is a mindset of that we can make it right, we can do this, we can, we can come out of the situation we are in. So even if I am living in a 10 bedroom, a one bedroom and we're 100, I can be great, I can, I can, I can excel. But it's very hard because if somebody that is in that place goes to maybe a particular school and does not have people to support and help. How can they climb up? So that's why it's important that as human beings we must find a way to lift up others and always carry people. Any opportunity we have to give to people, financially give to them education wise, support them in any area we can. Whatever we can do to support the next generation or the next, anybody else, we must do it. If we will be given an opportunity, we must get somebody else, bring somebody else out. I remember I went to speak at a place and there was a young girl, she was a student and she had just lost her mother and she had just lost her father and she was crying. She was extremely brilliant and she cried and she, she just talking and she was crying about how she did not know how she was going to move forward in life. And when she spoke that day, I just said to her, I will take care of everything you need till you are done in university. This girl has gone, she's gone abroad to win things for Nigeria. Imagine if she did not have somebody to support her, but she would have been wasting away. So it's important that we are not selfish. Those of us that have. And it's not like we have, we have it all or we have everything but we must, the little we have, we must give. Sometimes when I see somebody with 10 cars or I see somebody with 40 houses, what are we doing with it when somebody doesn't even have a house or somebody doesn't have a place to lay their head. So as much as possible we must try not to be selfish. We must be self aware, we must think of others. And that's how we can now begin to help other people begin to build wealth, begin to build success, begin to grow, begin to get more without. Because all of we're not grabbing, you know, we, there's a. We have a grabbing society. So we need to learn to open up our hands and just give to others and help others. And then with that other person will now pay it forward. So we must always pay forward. So it's what it is. Everybody to be truthful. And I will say this, it's also in the Bible. The poor will never leave the land. You will always have. The poor is there, it's inside the Bible.
Podcast Host
No, I did it.
Guest Speaker
They will always be there. But guess what? You must be fair. You must help even those that you must help. So as much as you can lift out. Do you understand? Of poverty or whatever it is, poverty of the mind, poverty of money, poverty of health, whatever you can do to help the next person, we must do it. So yes, we want to. We're going to build, all of us so. But as they say, we must all blow. We must all make this money. But not at the expense of another person, not at the expense of another human being, not at all costs. Some who think is, is at all costs. It's not at all cost.
Podcast Host
Get rich or die dry.
Guest Speaker
I know. Because you can't carry this money. You can't take it to heaven. We can't take it. Yes, it's sweeter to be driving a kind in a Bentley. Oh, it's nice. But guess what? Can you carry Bentley? You can't carry Rolls Royce. You can't carry it to heaven. You can't carry it even inside the grave, you are going to be alone. Can't carry nothing. So it's just important that we understand that and then the next set of people, anybody is to understand that. Look, life is not set up to make you fail. Yes, things may be working against you, but you have to understand that you on the inside of you, you have success. You are made for more. You are, you are, you are. God has deposited something on the inside of you that can make you great. But greatness too. Greatness is different things to different people. Success is different things. Wealth is also different things. Some people think that wealth is that you must have billion of dollars in the bank. Do you have wealth of people? Do you have wealth of knowledge? Do you have wealth of health? You can be, you can be sick and have all the money and you cannot enjoy it. Is that wealth. Do you understand what I'm saying? So it's just important that we all have this at the back of our mind and just really just try and push the next person always. If it's that you can give your time, your words, your money, whatever you can do to help the next person as much as you can. Because you cannot help everybody. Please. I need to put that caveat cuz we want to kill you. Hey, they said that they we cannot help everybody.

I just want to say to you, don't mind me. No, I just want to say that life is a journey. Life is. And we're all on different paths and we're all going to experience different. Have different experiences. And life is also in seasons. So there's a season of luck. There's a season of abundance. There's a season of unfeeling sad. There's a season of joy, of. Of joyfulness. There's a season that life is. There's a season of your business doing well. There's a season of your business not doing as great. There's a business of you feeling like, am I enough? There's a season of I am all that. Just recognize the seasons and look at what you need to learn in every season. Use every season as a learning opportunity. Use it as a learning moment. Another thing I will also say is that never think that you are going to walk alone, but not Liverpool. But you will never walk alone. Right. You are. You need people. You need community. You need people that would, you know, hold your hand. You need people that would guide you, teach you, correct you, scold you. People that will heal you. People that will tell you that you are not all that you need it. You need people. So never think that you can. You're made to do life alone. Find a community. Listen to this. Always listen to all these. Plenty. Listen to this podcast. You are going to get things that are going to help you in life. So life is in seasons. We're all on different journeys. You need community. And just try and find your purpose. What you are, what you. What you. Things that you've been destined to do. Some people stumble on it, some people find it immediately. Some people are still looking for it. But don't feel bad, but just keep at it. You find something that when you have found it, there's all the joy in the world is yours. So I just want to say thank you.
