A
Yeah.
B
Thank you so much for being here.
C
No, that introduction, that was a great intro, bro.
B
Yeah, very well done. That's why I said, let me get like two beers in me. Yeah, I know. Yeah, it's the best intro. Really.
C
Yeah.
B
Means a lot coming from you. I appreciate you being here, giving us your time, sitting down with, you know, a couple dorks.
A
Yeah, we're dorks. Just a little heads up. So you said something before, you said before you started getting into. You're like, I'm a little nervous. It's kind of crazy to me that somebody, like, at your magnitude, performing in front of hundreds, thousands of people, that you still feel that, like, nervousness.
B
Yeah.
C
Honestly, it just like never goes away. And I feel like 10 years down the line, I feel like I'm still gonna feel the same every time I get on stage, every time I do an interview.
B
Yeah.
C
Because I feel like that little emotion that you have, that nervousness, like what you said, it's like you kind of get nervous, but because you want to do good.
B
Yeah.
A
It sets you up. It kind of like just gets that thing going.
B
It's also, I think you probably get nervous because you care.
C
Yeah.
B
You care about this interview. Thank you. By the way. You care about performing, you know, you care about nervous, you know, be worried. That is true. I'll put that on my Instagram bio.
A
If I wasn't nervous.
B
If I wasn't nervous, be worried. Yeah. Well, like I said, thank you so much. How are you? Life's crazy. I know. You're just in Miami premier.
A
She's moving.
B
You're moving. I mean, I'm. My slideshow.
A
My.
B
My. My slideshow on my Instagram post. My dog a slice of pizza. Hers. Have you seen her slides?
A
Crazy, crazy world traveler.
B
World travel. Like, all these people. I'm like, wow, you're really doing it, man.
A
How are you taking it all in? Like, how are you feeling? Like, how's your soul?
B
Yeah.
C
Thank you for asking that. Honestly, it's just like a really exciting time.
A
Yeah.
C
I feel like a couple years back, like, I'd let my nervousness take over me and because of that I wouldn't enjoy the moment. But this year I've really tried to just, like, take it in and just like really be in the moment.
A
Yeah.
C
And really enjoy it.
B
Yeah.
C
Because, like, sometimes you just don't realize that you're living your best moment and then you think back later and you're like, oh, wait, I was actually. Yeah, it was actually happening.
B
Yeah.
C
There and then. And I didn't even realize it.
A
There's a quote from the office that they kind of. They talk, they say that exact thing they said. There's like, I forget his name, but he's like, I wish we knew we were in the good old days when we were in the good old days. Like, I wish that you could be mindful of like, oh, we're here. But it's always a good, good old days, you know? But that's cool that you can now. You've kind of like settled into, like, your life. Right? It's cool.
B
Exactly. We always think big. We always think about big moments. Like, we always imagine when our big moment is right.
C
Yeah.
B
But we never really think about our organic, true moments that are happening right now.
C
Right now.
B
Even right now, in this second, this moment right now with you, as with everybody here, we're all growing and you know, and when you do have your big moment and it happens, you're still going to want to be growing.
C
Yeah.
B
So it's like, do you ever even get that satisfaction? That's why you should always live right now. Yeah. And be truly grateful for what's going on in your life right now. Cuz you right now is bringing you up for the next moment in your life. You know what I mean?
A
Yeah.
B
It blows my mind that you have so many quotes.
A
Me?
B
Yeah.
A
I'm a quote guy, baby. He really is.
B
Every time he has a quote. And like, at first I used to think, like, he's gonna run out. He's just. No, no, he's just like messing with me. Or he comes up with him on his head or he just, like, makes them up. But no, he actually knows these quotes. That's like, honestly, you're like, superpower. He's like. He's like a Pinterest.
A
A walking Pinterest. Yeah, that's me.
B
You're just filled with quotes, are you?
A
But I mean, you as an artist, you al. You also write your own music, right? Like, I feel like. Like you're pulling inspiration from. From life. From potentially quotes, right? What's your. What's your creative process?
B
November 8th. We are ending off the year. Wow.
A
With a bizang.
B

C

A
If you missed the first LA show, this is the show not to miss. We have. This is going to be our last seventh show of the tour. We're polished. The show is dialed in. You guys are in for a treat.

Yeah. Trick or treat is what they say. Go to the show.

A
Yeah. Link below.
B
Bring somebody. Bring a date. Bring your man.
A
All right.
B
We're gonna bring your girl.
A
You're dial down, dude. Being a little too demanding.
B
November 8th. I'll see you there.
A
All right. We'll see you guys there.
C
It switches up a lot for this last project, the project that's coming out in November. I don't know when this. This episode comes out.
A
This is coming out today, which is.
C
No, today.
A
November 2nd.
C
Are we live?
B
November 3rd.
C
November 3rd. Okay.
B
Okay. So plug it all in. Tell them, let the people know.
C
My project comes out in a couple days.
B
Yes.
C
November 7th.
B
Oh, wow. Congratulations.
C
Thank you. Thank you. I've been working on it for a while, and, like, the whole creative process has been so different to what I've done in the past.
B
Okay.
C
Mostly because, like, the whole inspiration behind the project was a Novella.
B
Okay. I love that.
C
My favorite novella. Growing up Camel. I don't know. Do we go into it?
A
Yes, please. This is. Yes.
B
This is your world we are just living in.
A
I want to hear all this.
B
Yeah, Everybody listening. They love you. They want to know all of this when they want. When they listen to your. To your new project, they want to know the backstory behind it. I want to know. I'm intrigued. Please.
C
Okay. So the title. I don't know if you guys have heard the song.
B
Yeah, yeah. Such a great song.
C
Iconic song, right?
B
Iconic.
C
So that song talks about Camille Tejana, and that's why the project is called La Trecionil Contrabando. It's kind of paying homage to.
A
Oh, that's cool.
C
But there's also a novella about it, and I saw this novella when I was 11, and I'd always, like, look it up to see if it was, like, on Netflix or, like, Hulu or anything.
B
Yeah.
C
I couldn't find it anywhere for years, but this year I found it on YouTube. It was.
A
The whole thing.
C
It was blurry as heck. Yeah, I could barely.
A
Yeah, 320.
C
I could barely see it. But, yeah, I started re watching it earlier, early this year, and I was just like, I'm just gonna base my whole project.
A
Oh, that's so cool.
B
That really inspired you, that novella.
C
Yeah.
A
So did you, like, put yourself into that world and wrote around that?
C
I did.
A
That's super cool. Yeah.
C
So, like, every experience that Camellia lived, I try to, like, feel it for myself. So, like, I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with the story, but she's like this girl from a small town. Innocent, sweet, good girl. And then she meets this guy. Really bad guy. Really, really bad guy.
A
Yeah.
C
And she runs off with him.
A
With him.
C
Of course they run away. And she becomes bad too. Like, she helps him do all his.
A
Sneaky, Like Bonnie and Clyde.
C
Yeah, yeah, exactly. And then later on, she finds out that she's the other woman and he's married.
B
Oh.
C
And so she kills him.
B
I love it. I mean, not us watching it tonight after the Dodger game. Yeah, that's. I love that.
A
So you.
B
Who.
A
You play the main. I guess, like, when you're writing. That's so cool.
C
Yeah. So when I. When I was writing the songs, I was like, okay, so what was Camellia feeling?
B
Yeah.
C
In the moment where she found out she was the other woman. Or like, when she felt suspicious and that song is not. Or Diamantes Amivoca is another song, and that one's like, where everything's fine, you know?
B
Yeah, okay.
A
Like the good parts, right, where like she's just in it, in love and.
C
Then later is like when she first. First meets the guy and she's like, yo, I would do anything for you.
B
These are your songs.
C
Yeah.
B
Wow.
A
I love how it's all like, correlated. Like the story starts from start to finish and it just. Wow.
B
So every emotion that that novella basically gave you, you wrote a song about it. That's so freaking cool. I really never even heard anybody do that.
A
A true artist.
B
Yeah. I want to know something though. Are you Camila? Camila, the Novella girl's name? What's her name?
A
Can you pull it up and find like a reference?
B
Do you see yourself more when she's good or do you see yourself more when she turns bad?
A
Oh, this is. This is the main girl right here.
C
And also the wardrobe I use for my shoots and music videos.
B
I know who that girl is.
C
I've seen her before, by the.
B
By the whole Nola, by the novella. So who do you see yourself more as? The beginning of her journey or the bad side of her or both?
C
Honestly, both.
B
Yeah. Okay.
A
Yeah.
C
Because with every song I like. Even though I haven't experienced what she did. Exactly.
B
Yeah, of course. You know, you haven't. We're gonna talk about that.
A
Yeah, cut that out.
C
Is the. Even though, like, I haven't had those exact experiences, I feel like in a way, like the root of all those emotions that she felt like are just like emotions that we all feel. Really?
A
Of course.
C
Jealousy, betrayal.
B
Yeah.
C
You know, they're all. Yeah, they're all rooted from like these emotions that we all experience. So in a way, I actually felt like really connected to every part of her. Even though I haven't ever been cheated on her, I've never been the other woman.
B
Yeah.
C
Like just putting myself into. Into her shoes and just like really feeling that I was like. Yeah, it feels like.
B
Yeah, yeah, I love.
A
That's kind of crazy because as an artist, like, you really have to dive into those emotions on a deep scale. Right. To really be able to feel and be able to put those emotions into the lyrics, which is like a whole another aspect. Cuz you're not just like writing how you feel. You're making it.
B
You're making music. Okay, I love that. I'm interested. I can't wait for To. To listen to it.
A
November 7th.
B
How many songs?
C
Eight songs.
B
Oh, I love that. Nice. Yeah. And I mean, at the end of the day, isn't that the whole point of Us watching movies, Nolas, listening to music. It's for us to explore. It's for us to imagine ourselves, even if we've never been in those positions of, you know, what she went through, but we're able to. To. To listen, to watch and to really dream and imagine of I would do this or I would be this kind of person. And you actually just. Exactly. And then you just put it into music. That's awesome.
C
That's the beauty of music. Like, you can just honestly take anything.
B
Yeah.
C
And make it.
B
Got it.
C
Something.
A
Yeah. Yeah. But. But you also, like, I feel like there's certain artists and you can feel it in music that they don't feel that passion that you just, like, when you were like, I can feel it. You took like, a de. Like, you're like, man, I. I felt her weight of, like, everything she was going through. I think that's going to, like, that reads in music. And I could tell, like, I love music. And it's like those people that are just like, I can feel their heart on the line when they're, like, singing or whatever, even rapping, whatever it is, you know, so. It's beautiful. That's really cool.
B
Yeah. You just went to the Latin billboards, Correct. How was that for you? What did you experience? Is there something that you brought back home and you're like, well, I didn't know it was like that. Or like, I had. Or like, what did you bring back from that experience?
C
It was a beautiful experience. I feel like, honestly, like I was saying before, like, when you really just put yourself in the moment and just enjoy everything, like, you just. Everything just like.
B
Yeah. Clicks.
C
Beautiful.
B
Yeah.
C
And just feels so smooth. Like, I don't know. You just have to.
B
Yeah.
C
Really want to enjoy it in order to do it.
B
Met a lot of artists.
C
Yeah.
B
Is there an artist.
A
Is there, you fangirl?
B
Is there an artist that you met and actually became friends with? You're like, wow, I didn't know I was gonna be friends with him or her.
C
Yeah. Well, I feel like all the boys in the panel, it was like a. Like a really special moment for me.
B
Yeah.
C
I feel like that's cool. I mean, things I've done in my.
B
Career, there's like, it's all legends. And the fact that you were the. You were the only, like, woman there. That's so cool.
C
Yeah.
B
No, that's awesome.
C
Yeah, that picture is.
B
And you're so, like, you're so boss looking.
C
I had to.
B
That's crazy. No, you are a boss. But look at You. You look awesome. I know you're with Kohli. Ciao. You're with Javi. I love.
C
Honestly, I was super nervous because those are some of my favorite artists, like Nathan. I. I love Nathan and his music and everything that he does. Also, Javi, Oscar, like, Khalisa, like, they're all amazing artist, and it was cool to just like, be in the presence of all of them and just hear from their experiences in panel. But yeah, no, like, I also decided to dress super feminine for the panel cuz I was like, you know what? I'm the only girl. I have to bring the feminine energy.
A
I love that you delivered.
C
It was amazing.
B
Honestly, I love that. That's cool.
A
That's amazing.
B
So, friend, who did you become friends with that you're like, damn, that's cool.
C
Honestly, I made a lot of friends. Yeah, Javi. I actually opened for him.
B
Oh, how cool.
C
A year ago. And so we kind of reconnected.
B
Yeah.
C
And he's super sweet. Yeah, sweetest guy.
B
He seems really cool. Him and his brother also became friends.
C
With Nathan, Oscar, but everything was super quick. So I wish, like, we could have had more time to just like, connect, chill more and talk more. But I also met Grupo Frontera.
B
Oh, that's. Wow.
C
We're also one of my favorite artists right now. And. Yeah, yeah, no, it's super cool.
B
Recently, I, you know, I feel like I know a lot of people also in the industry. And for the past, I would say since like 2018, 19, Mexican regional music has always been a part of our lives, but it has turned into something so global.
A
It's a movement now.
B
And I want to ask you, when did you feel, as of recent, where. It can be any artist, it can be any song. When do you feel that this song is what kind of kicked everything off and made it globally? What song is that? If you can think about a song right now, you're like, this collab, this song is what set it off. Set it off for. For Mexican regional music, whether it be Cumbias corridos.
C
I mean, I think, honestly, like, the biggest moment was.
B
That is very true.
A
Yeah. Yeah, I would. I would say so too.
C
Also, a big moment was Frontera with Bad Bunny.
B
That was massive.
A
That was more. I don't even want to say more global because, I mean, even.
B
I think it was. I think with the Frontera, with Bad Bunny, it just boosted it even more. But, yeah, I. I do think that really, really kicked things off, but I don't even think that it would have still existed. But I don't think that song would have existed if it wasn't for truly, like, Nathanael Kano. Because I really do personally feel like he almost created almost like a new genre in a way. Correct.
C
That's true. Honestly, I started listening to.
B
Because he also collabed with Bad Bunny and with El Diablo. Yeah. I think the song is called El Diablo. Yeah. It's not an Elcano. With Bad Bunny, it's called El Diablo. And Bad Bunny said, chunk, you've never heard that song. There's no way.
A
It's.
C
Because, honestly, like, I. Like, the first.
B
Yeah.
C
Like, artist that I listened to was 2021.
B
Yeah.
C
So I. I didn't even know about Natana. And. Yeah. Like, when I first started listening to all the choreos, I was like, I was scared to play in front of my friends.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
Yeah.
C
Like, all my girlfriends.
B
Oh, really?
A
What are you listening to? Are your.
B
Are your girlfriends very similar to you, or are you the one that pops out. Out of the bunch?
C
I have, like, the weirdest taste from all. I mean, playing on, like, the creepy, dark Cumbias.
B
Yeah.
C
Just like, girl, can we just listen to, like, Samaria Grande?
B
I love that. That's so cool. Where do you get that from? Obviously, I know you get inspiration probably from your upbringings, your family, your father. What's something that, you know, you. You just truly remember, like, because there's people who are rich in culture, and then there's, like, somebody like you who. I know that. I can feel that you grew up very rich in culture.
C
Yeah.
B
And I can see it. I can feel it, you know, you can hear it.
A
Yeah.
B
How can. What. What was I like? What was. How was it like being, like, a kid? Like, where did you grow up? I know you're from Beaumont as well, correct?
C
Yeah.
B
Can we say that? Did I just call it your city out. Yeah. Everybody knows that.
A
Right.
B
Okay, sorry. You want to give it? No. Yeah. So, like, it's cool. So, like, where were you raised? Like, how was.
C
You know, I grew up in Beaumont. Beaumont, California. And honestly, like, the very first genre, I learned how to sing, like, all the Jenny songs.
B
Yeah.
C
Like, all the Selena songs.
B
Yeah, Like. Yeah, I love that.
C
All of that. And my dad.
B
Yeah.
C
Right there.
B
Yeah. By the way, this is the first time ever someone brings her dad.
C
No way.
B
Yeah, right. Who has brought their dad?
A
I think you might be right. Yeah.
B
So, like, having a dad now, I'm, like, having a dad here with his presence, I feel like I have to be very focused on myself as well, you know, I Respect him, you know?
A
That's fair. Yeah.
B
No, I know he's. Joe. I know he's. You know, it's like, I gotta be careful on how we speak with each other, with everybody, you know? No. Yeah, but it's.
C
No, no. He's. He's the chillest dad. He actually introduced me to all these.
B
Yeah.
C
All these songs.
B
Yeah.
C
Vicente Fernandes, like, he taught me how to sing those songs.
B
I love that. That's so cool.
C
And I'd go to, like, my family parties.
B
Yeah.
C
Sorry, am I far away? I'd go to family parties, and there'd be a mariachi, and I just start singing. Actually, I think those videos are on YouTube.
B
Oh, we'll check them out. We'll put them up.
C
But, yeah, I was seeing, like, La Grand Senora at 8 years old, and it's, like, a crazy song to sing at 88 years old. But, yeah. And then I. I also had the other side of me that, like, listened to pop music at school. I also loved R B. Like, the first song I sang at a talent show was At Last by Out of James. And. Yeah, like, that was a really important moment.
B
Wow.
A
That's a hard song to say.
B
That's what I'm saying.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was a crazy moment.
B
She wanted to win the talent show.
C
I got second place.
A
There you go. Who got first? Yeah.
B
What?
C
Yeah, like, I remember I got a standing ovation. I was like, yo, what?
B
Wow.
A
At eight years old?
C
I think, yeah. Like, eight, nine.
B
Wow. Dude. Imagine at eight years old, you get a standing ovation. Like, what? That does something to you, right? As a kid, like, growing up, like. Because there's. There's, like, Grown adults will never get a standing ovation ever in their life.
A
Yeah.
B
And, like, for you to go in at 8 years old, like, that has to carve you into something later in life, right?
C
It's hard.
B
Yeah.
C
I mean, like, it's hard to get us anymore.
A
Yeah, exactly.
B
I know. That's what I'm saying. Yeah.
C
Wow. Yeah. That was like, a moment that just, like, really.
B
Did that.
A
That was that, like, a moment where you felt like, I really want to do this. Like, you, like, kind of felt deep in love with it.
C
Yeah. It was a moment when I was like, yo, I. I wanna. I wanna continue to do this. And even though it, like, scared the.
B
Crap out of me. Yeah.
C
I was like, I don't know. There's something about it that I just love.
B
Yeah.
C
But, yeah, I just remember I was trembling before going on stage.
B
I don't Know the question, too, about your upcoming project, similar beats, similar sounds from your other recent projects, or is this totally different as well?
C
I think it's a. A different world from what I. What I've done in the past.
B
Okay. I feel like so we're going to get something new from you, basically. Oh, I love that.
C
I feel like it definitely feels a little more regional.
B
Okay.
C
Kind of wanted to explore in that space.
B
Okay.
C
But it's still, like, kind of experimental.
B
Got it.
C
Experimental regional music.
B
Yeah. Yeah, I love that.
C
But, yeah, like my. My last EP, Kumbia Delicious, I released in 2023.
B
Yeah, I love that it was all.
C
Kumbia except for one song. And, yeah, like, that was just like, what I wanted to show the world of, like, oh, this is me. I make Cumbias and I spice it up a little bit. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
That's amazing. It's so cool how us. Because, like, you know, same with. With ourselves as well. But you, you know, you grow up listening to Kumbas and then you're able to create your own music. But, like, you now you're. You're like, okay, I want to make Kumbia music, but I'm going to add my own little spice to it. You know what I mean? You're, like, almost like, modernizing the Kumbia beat. Correct. So that's really cool. And that's really cool that you're actually, like, daring to do it as well. And it sounds amazing.
C
Thank you.
B
It's Kumbhalicious.
C
Yeah. Yeah. No, I mean, honestly, I feel like doing that has been the best decision I've ever made for my career. Before that, I was just, like, making random, random things. Just like pop. Like a pop song here and there, like a reggaeton song. And I didn't really feel like I had, like, something to call my own or something that felt like me. And so I started doing cumbia, spicing it up a little bit. And that's when I really felt that I was doing what felt like, like, me, because I was mixing the pop in, which I grew up on, and also, like the regional Mexicano, the Cumbias, and just, like, making it into one. And that's exactly, like, who I am.
B
I love that. I love that. Before we gonna. Before we go on a quick break, I want to give you some rapid fire questions. Just super quick questions. Is that cool? Can we do that with you? You have that thing, right, Josh? No, these are cool questions. So they can be a little sentence, one word, whatever you want. But we're Going. We're gonna come at you quick. Okay, you ready? No, you're good at these.
A
No, you're. Yeah, you're really good at this.
B
What? I'm gonna start crying. Why? Just cry.
A
Too much pressure.
C
We made a Stevie cry.
B
All right, you ready? They're AC Questions. You're on a road trip and you stop at a gas station.
C
What snacks did you get in Mexico or That's. Yeah, Mexico. The chips fuego.
B
Okay. I love that.
C
Like, me and my cousin are addicted to those.
B
Okay.
C
Squinkless.
B
Okay.
C
Of course.
B
Very underrated. With the sauce.
C
With the sauce.
B
Yeah.
C
Or like, you can not, like, mix it in, but, like, just have it on the side.
A
Okay.
B
You know, that's how Stevie. Stevie does it. Okay.
A
It's cleaner that way.
B
Yeah. You gotta wash it down with something. What are you washing it down with?
C
Mineral water that has lemon and it's called twist.
A
Oh, okay.
B
Oh, yeah, I haven't had that. I was like, no twist. Okay.
C
Oh, it is. I think it's.
B
Is it really?
C
Yeah.
B
Okay.
C
But it's called twist.
B
Oh, really? I haven't had it. Like a twist of lemon. You'd probably like that. He's a big twist guy.
A
Big twist guy.
B
Yeah.
C
Twist guy.
B
Okay, cool.
A
This one's kind of similar, but if you were a bag of chips, what chips would you be?
C
Have you guys tried the Turbo?
A
Yes, dude, I. Stevie, I'm not joking. Those are some of my favorite chips in the world. I swear to God, they're. They're so underrated. I feel like nobody talks about these Turbo flamas. And these are the great.
B
That's how the commercials are, dude.
A
These are some of the greatest chips. These might be my favorite chips in the world, guys.
C
I've never met anyone who likes them.
A
No, I'm obsessed with these. And, like, I'll forget about them and then I'll see them and I'll buy them and I'm just like, this is heaven.
C
This is my studio snack.
B
Yeah. Oh, really?
A
Dude, my mouth is water.
B
Yeah.
A
Hey, I love those chips.
B
They're better than hot Cheetos, huh?
A
In my opinion. Yes. I'm gonna go there.
B
It's a bold statement.
A
They. That's the way they season it. The experience of the crunch, the texture, the turbo Ness. Yeah.
B
The twist.
C
Dude, it's this paired with the yerba mate.
A
Yeah. That combo.
B
What a crazy combo.
A
You've tried these, right?
B
Yeah.
C
I'm telling you.
A
Yeah.
C
Have you ever had a late night studio snack?
B
Yeah. Have you ever had a lechugia no.
C
What is that?
B
Lechugia. Have you guys ever had that? No. Is that just like a Guadalajara thing? They're like these little bags and they have. Who are they? Agave, I think. Oh, they're like little. Yeah.
A
Yes.
B
You guys have never had that?
A
I've seen this before.
B
They're so good.
A
Do they have like the actual, like, the little, like, thing in it? Like so it's like the.
B
You just bite the corner and just suck on it like a bullies.
A
There's no, like, pulp in it?
B
No. Okay, then that, that and. And a gancito. Forget about it.
A
That's the combo right there.
B
Yeah. All right. What is one of Stevie's all time favorite movies.
C
Since we're in spooky season.
A
Okay. I like this on theme.
C
Killer clowns from outer Space.
B
Oh, my God.
A
Can we pull this up?
B
Did your dad make you watch that? Because that's like. Did that movie come out, like, when.
A
Your dad was like, from outer space?
C
It's an 80s movie.
B
Yeah, it's like an 80s movie, bro.
A
I'm not gonna lie. I've never seen this.
B
You've never seen it?
C
It's.
B
It's more creepy than scary.
C
See, it's not even scary.
B
It's not scary, but like, it's so creepy.
A
Is it like.
B
I think. I think this is what gave people like.
A
This is such an 80s cover.
B
Yeah.
C
Yo, I love it.
A
It's so cool.
B
It's such a good movie.
C
Well, like, I want my next. My next album.
B
Yeah.
C
Is gonna be.
B
Oh, that's so cool. I love that. You gotta watch this movie, bro.
A
Okay.
B
It's so good.
C
Honestly, watch it.
B
What? I would never. I would never think that you would say that.
C
What do you think I was gonna say?
B
I don't know, like something. No, I know you were gonna say that.
A
Honestly, I was gonna say great, great movie.
B
No, no, no.
C
Yeah, you.
B
You give Ratatouille, which is a great movie.
C
I'm assuming you like that movie, Alice in the Wonderland.
B
I like Ratatouille.
A
Another great movie.
C
You know what's underrated? Wally.
A
Wally. Yeah.
C
I think we have the same taste.
A
Yeah, I think so too.
B
Should I just leave? Wally's great.
A
Wally's good.
B
Wally's great.
A
What is your personal version of hell? Since we're on Spooky.
B
Oh, okay.
A
The who's down in who Newville were making their list, but some didn't know Walmart has the best brands for their gifts. What about toys?
B
Do they have brands kids have been wanting all year?
C
Yep.
A
Barbie Tony's and Lego gifts that will make them all cheer.
B
Do you mean they have all the brands I adore?
A
They have Nintendo, Nespresso, Apple and more.
B
What about. So the.
A
Who answered questions from friends till they were blue? Each one listened and shouted. From Walmart. Who knew Sharp gifts from top brands for everyone on your list in the Walmart app.
B
I like how you're not going in order and you're picking the ones that you. Your favorite question.
A
No, you know what I'm doing? I'm just curating them to, like, how she's answering them.
B
Yeah, that's smart.
C
Honestly, I feel like, as an artist, like, not being able to create freely because there was a moment in my career, I was like 15, where I just, like, I was signed to some people and they wouldn't give me creative freedom. And it felt like I was in jail. Like, I was like, yo, I'm putting this out, but it's not me. And so it wasn't. It felt really weird. But, like, honestly, having creative freedom and having a label that supports that is just like.
B
I love that.
A
It's kind of crazy how labels will try to, like, confine you, but they want to, like, utilize you, but in, like, in their own version.
B
Yeah.
A
And that kind of like, takes away from. From the art of, like, what you do and what you bring to the table. Like, it's kind of like.
B
You know what I'm saying? It's always blown my mind how they want you to. It's almost like, yeah, they just want you to stay the same, maybe.
A
No, they just. They want. They have an idea of you and they box you into that. But it doesn't benefit the artist, like, full capacity of what they can do.
B
Yeah, I never understood that. I never understood that. I like that.
A
Great answer.
C
Not feel good.
B
Great after.
A
It feels like hell.
C
It feels like hell.
B
What's one of your guilty pleasures?
C
Oh, no, like.
A
Honestly. Same.
C
Honestly, like, you can't have it.
B
Every day is crazy, bro. Imagine in 30 years, Red 40s banned, but you go to a Michelin star restaurant, they serve Red 40. Yeah, like just pure Red 40, bro.
A
In some countries.
B
Band in Mexico City. Like, at a Michelin star restaurant, just eating Red 40, bro. Or just like one Turbo Flama chip.
A
I wonder if this red.
B
Red 40, that's the world that we're gonna live in.
C
It should be like that.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
Or like when we're. When we're like 70 years old. Like, damn. Back in my days, mijo, this right here, it was everywhere on the Streets just. Nobody eats durable flamas no more.
C
That's what's gonna happen.
B
Yeah. I mean, why wouldn't they just enjoy.
C
It while they're still.
B
Yeah, exactly.
A
That'd be that bad for you, right?
B
Well, I think there's worse things for you than Red40, right?
A
I think so, too.
C
According to AI over here, Red40 can cause DNA damage in animal studies. It actually altered the stud. Like, DNA.
B
Really?
C
It might not be that bad, but it might cause kind of mess you up.
B
Does it have a taste? Alters DNA, bro. It's changing humanity.
A
Can you ask Jess? I'm just curious. Like, are they just adding this for coloring, or does this, like, alter the taste?
B
No, it's the color. It's so.
A
It's just color.
B
It's a color.
A
So they could remove it and it would taste the same.
B
Yeah, they just. It wouldn't be as red.
A
That's kind of crazy.
B
It's intended to be flavorless some.
C
What color would it be?
A
Like, yeah, like, green. Light green Turbos or brown? Like, just normal. Like.
B
But then it's blue 40.
C
Brown.
A
Yeah, brown. Like, like brown Turbo.
B
It's the same thing.
A
I know, I know.
B
I love red.
A
And then I need it on my finger. Exactly.
C
It's a beautiful red.
A
Yeah. I admire every time I ate a turbo, I just looked at my little residue on the figures. I'm like, red 40.
B
Yeah. The best is when you, like, eat underneath the unya.
A
Yeah. No. Nobody. No. Yeah.
B
Yeah. Okay.
A
I got.
B
I got more. I got more. You're not done yet? Okay, here we go. Wait, is it your turn, Josh, or me?
A
I think it's mine. What is. What's your idea of a perfect day? Okay.
B
I love this.
C
It's them. A perfect day. You want me to, like, go through the whole day?
B
Yeah. You can't explain today.
C
Today.
B
Well, you didn't get that joke.
C
No.
A
Like, it can't be today.
B
It can't be today.
A
You're saying, like, you being here, it makes it a perfect day. It's a very se.
B
W. Come on, Stevie. We were laughing, like, you know, sorry, bad joke.
A
Can all be gold, people.
C
I'll just, like, start off by saying what I did today, then. Honestly, I love. I love chill days where I just, like, have a lot of time to myself. I know, like, where I just wake up, make my coffee, make a little breakfast. I go to the gym.
A
Okay.
C
And then I come back and I start, like, organizing my. My room, cleaning up a little bit. I feel like that's good for you to do.
B
Yeah, it is.
C
You feel good after. And then I start working on, like, my music or I have a studio session later on in the day. Recently, I started cooking too, and I honestly enjoy that a lot.
A
Yeah, it's good for you.
B
Therapeutic. It's very good for you.
C
But honestly, like, I just. I love going to the studio. Like, I become obsessed.
B
Oh, that's good. That's awesome.
C
I just, like, want to be there whenever I have a free day.
B
You. You feel there's magic. It's creative. Yeah.
C
Honestly. Yeah, I feel like making music. It's like a spiritual experience.
B
I love that.
A
Wow.
B
Okay, I have another one.
A
Great answer, by the way.
B
Yeah, great answer. What was the last song you had on repeat?
C
Wait, let me check.
B
You can check on what songs you have on repeat. Yeah, right?
A
Yeah, I think so. On if you have like, Spotify, I think there's like an app. There's like on repeat. That's what it's called.
C
Oh, okay. Kiss it better. My Rihanna.
A
Wow.
B
That's your repeat song. I love that.
A
That's a good song. Not what I would have expected.
C
No.
A
Yeah, great song. I don't know. You. You kind of. You have like a broad scale, like.
B
Music, which is really cool.
A
Like, kind of unpredictable, which is cool because he's kind of like whatever you're feeling.
C
Like. Honestly, my playlist is so random.
B
Can we go through our playlist real quick? I want to see yours too.
A
Kiss it. Kiss it better. Is that that one?
B
Because you know how you can go on on, like the homepage on like, Spotify and the top, it says like. Like what you've really been listening to more often.
A
The repeat. Just go to repeat phone. You're making this complicated.
B
I don't know where repeat is on Spotify.
C
Wait, I. I know I've done it before. I can't find it.
A
Okay, honestly, me neither.
B
No, because right here on the top, when you press all, it shows, like, what you've really been listening to for the past month or so. Where, like, on the top, you go to the home. You go to home and then on the top. Do you don't have that?
A
Oh, no.
B
I told you. Don't get your Spotify at Kurasao. Hey, bro.
C
Isn'T that an IE thing?
B
No, no, I think they're.
A
Yeah, they're everywhere.
B
Do you remember the theme song? Do you remember them?
C
Sing it for us.
B
It's. No. Should I leave? Should I leave again? Should I leave? Yo.
C
I can't find it.
B
Okay, it's all good.
A
It's all good. We're on rapid fire mode right now, guys.
B
All right.
A
What is something you can't leave the house without.
C
Is them.
B
Oh, that's so cool. And she's artsy. Wow, she's an artsy girl.
A
Are you an aesthetic queen? Like, are you all about the aesthetics? Like, when you're taking photos? Okay, okay. This is lip gloss and lip liner.
C
Yes.
B
Lip liner. Yeah. Good job, Leva. I love that. Lip gloss or lipstick?
C
This is lips. Lip gloss.
B
Okay. Lip gloss, lipstick. And her digi. They're called digi.
A
You know what? You know what? I'm like what? I like the. When the girls do the. They do the. The tint and then.
B
Oh, they peel it off. That's like a new thing. That's so cool.
C
I haven't tried that one.
B
You haven't tried it?
C
Know, but it seems.
B
Yeah. Okay, so lip liner, lip. Lip gloss, a purse and your digi.
C
Yeah.
B
How much. What size is your memory card on your digi?
A
What a very specific question. And why is that important?
C
Let me check for you.
B
No, it's okay, Steven. You don't got to check. I was just curious. I really want to know. I really kind of want to know. Like, it. It, like, is he package Gigabytes. Four gigabytes? What is that, like three pictures that you can store?
C
No, it has like, a lot of.
B
Really? Yeah.
C
Wow.
A
Does it go directly to your phone or do you have to, like, plug it in? Like, what's. Okay.
C
But no, honestly, I love the pictures that come.
B
Really? Matt, remind me. We're gonna give her a 256 gigabyte memory card.
A
Yeah.
C
Thank you.
A
So you know.
B
You know that like 4 gigabyte, that's like not a known thing, right? You know that?
C
No.
B
Yeah, that's like very rare to see a 4 gigabyte memory card.
C
You know what the best part of this is?
B
What? The sound. Whoa.
A
It's so, like. It's 90s.
B
So 90s. Yeah. It's so digi. Yeah. She just doesn't take one of me.
A
She puts it away. Oh, my God. I wish you would have just done that for the bit.
B
You should have not even. Not even paid attention to me. I wouldn't even have said anything. I love that. That's so cool. Honestly, when people have cameras on them, you really. It's, it's, it's. It's a very interesting person, honestly. Yeah, it is.
C
That says something about.
B
It says something about the person. It really does. You know, you have a friend other than me. Who always carries around a camera. They're very interesting.
A
I agree.
B
So I respect that.
C
Is that a good thing?
B
It's a very good thing. I always carry a camera with me.
A
Which is why he thinks it's a.
B
Good thing, which is why I brought it up.
C
You seem like the type to have a camera.
A
Yeah, yeah, he does. He does.
B
Like, out of the friend groups, like, we all go design. I have an actual camera on me. Everybody else. And then, you know what's funny that I've realized is I'm never in pictures because I'm always the one taking them.
C
That's good, though, because then in the future. Well, actually, you're not gonna be in them, but in the future, you know, everyone else will.
B
Yeah.
C
Like, be thankful for you because they'll have all these memories.
A
I will say, though, it's kind of like a reverse psychology in the way of, like, you always take pictures of everybody. So when you ask us to take. At least the way I feel when you ask me to take a picture of you, like, I'm very inclined. Like, I really want to take, like, the best photo of you.
B
Yeah.
A
Because I see how much you, like, put in other people's photos.
B
Yeah. I appreciate that. Thank you, Josh.
A
Well, man.
B
Yeah.
A
What are best friends for?
B
That's right. What are they for? Should we hug?
A
Kiss?
B
I have more questions. We're not done yet. Oh. What's the most fun part? What's the most fun part about being a singer? Songwriter.
C
Honestly, like I was saying before, it's, like, songwriting and creating music just, like, feels. It feels spiritual.
A
Like.
C
Yeah, it's weird. I feel like that's weird, but I don't think so.
B
No, I'm. I'm very. I think both of us are very spiritual.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
C
Honestly, I feel like the reason why I'm so addicted to. To creating music and songwriting is because I get that feeling whenever I'm doing it.
B
So.
C
Yeah, I was actually reading a book about it that confirmed what I was feeling, because I was like, yo, this. This feels like. Like, I'm.
B
Yeah.
C
Connecting to God right now while I'm making the song. And I started reading a book a couple months ago, and it says that, like, creativity.
B
Exactly what you. Yeah.
C
A direct form, a direct connection to God.
B
Wow.
C
I was like, that's kind of crazy.
B
It is crazy. It is crazy.
C
Sometimes when I'm writing something, I'm like, yo, like, how did I even come up with this? Like, I don't even know. Just, like, flows out of you, and.
B
That'S why you love being in the studio.
A
I think there's like a story in the Bible about David, like playing like the harp, how you would connect with like God. I think it's like a biblical thing.
C
So really, I think, I think like any form of creativity.
A
Yeah.
C
Is a connection to God. Like whether it's dancing, whether you're like making clothes.
B
Yeah.
C
Like, it's just all coming from creativity.
A
Like creativity flowing through.
B
It's almost like. Yeah. It's almost like anything any human does that they enjoy doing a hundred percent. They put love into anything, whether it be making clothes. There's people that like making little fidget stuff. There's people that make music. Us that, you know, we do a podcast and other stuff. It's the gift that God has given us. So when we actually do it, because he gave it to us, we feel him. Yeah, right.
C
Yeah. It's literally totally right.
B
Because if we do anything else that maybe wasn't our God given gift, we don't feel that, that spiritual connection because that's not, you know, I mean, God gave us everything. But you know what I mean?
A
Even just the idea where, like you were like, sometimes I'll write something and you're like, where did that come from? Where did that. You know, and it's just that connection.
B
Yeah. And because you were perfectly focused, like everything was aligned in your life at that exact moment of you writing a song or whatever. You know what I mean? So when things are like a line, like things just. It's almost like you open up. It's a gateway, a gate, and just things come at you. Isn't that crazy? I believe in that.
C
It's crazy.
A
I like this question. Do you listen to the music before coming up with the lyrics, or do you have the lyrics first and then the music?
B
That's a really good question.
A
I feel like it could be both, right? Yeah, yeah.
B
Depends.
C
It depends if I have an idea for lyrics. Sometimes I just like have like something written in my notes already. I'm like, yo, I want to make a song about this. And then like whoever I'm working with, we start to like figure out what that sounds like musically. Or like someone can be like, oh, I have this beat. And then that will spark something to me too.
B
Because that's like what kind of happens a lot, right? Like, I got this bstv. Come listen to it. You know, like with it. I think you'd like it.
C
Yeah.
B
Cool.
A
Do you write music every day? Like, are you writing lyrics pretty much daily or. Not necessarily.
C
Not every day, but Whenever. Whenever I have, like, any kind of inspiration, I try to, like, go straight to. To notes and like.
B
Yeah.
C
Write it down. I feel like doing it every day might, like. I don't know, like, you might get Bertel. Yeah.
A
Sorry, I don't mean to derail the questions, but I just saw this thing about, like, Drake, and I don't know how true it was that he puts himself into romantic situations in order to, like, feel heartbreak. Like, he'll go all in. He'll dive all in and then, like, basically sabotage the relationship so he can write. And I'm like, dude, that's kind of. You're mentally not okay.
B
Imagine, like, I want to make, like, a breakup album.
A
Yeah. So he'll.
B
So let me get with a girl and then. And break her heart or she breaks mine.
A
He'll sabotage whatever I guess he wants to do, whatever the direction is. Have you ever dove in? Maybe not to that extent, but have you ever put yourself in, like, a.
C
I think, like, being in relationships really does help.
A
Yeah.
C
Inspire. And, like, when I've. When I'm in a relationship, I feel like I'm just, like, super inspired to write a bunch of. But I do feel like I also just wanna let my life flow. So, like, I. I'm living experiences that I should be in that moment. So if I'm, like, right now, like, I. I'm not in anything romantic, but, you know, it's. It's kind of a challenge to see what else I can write about that's not romantic.
A
Yeah.
C
Or that's not heartbreak.
A
Yeah.
C
So now it, like, now I have to challenge myself to write about, like.
B
Yeah.
C
I don't know. Going to Billboard.
B
Yeah.
C
Going to the After.
B
You know, Is there somebody like, that you would love to collab with right now? It can be up and coming. It can be anybody. It can be. It doesn't even have to be, like, Mexican music. It can be anything. I.
C
Right now I'd love to collab with group of.
A
Oh, yeah.
C
Honestly, I feel like the match would just be perfect.
B
Yeah.
C
Los Angeles.
B
Oh, my. I think. I think I. I like that one.
C
Yeah.
B
I think you would fit in perfectly with them. Well, with both.
C
Yeah. No, I. I love them. And they're like the cumbia.
B
Yeah.
C
Representing the cumbia.
B
Yeah.
C
I love Kali Uchis, too. She's amazing. And I've been loving her music for years, and I feel like her on a cumbia would be sick.
B
Yeah. It's so crazy how I feel like a lot of people, like, they. They think of cumbia. And they like, maybe think of like Los Angeles, Azules and things like that. But cumbia goes even deeper than that.
C
There's so much.
B
There's so much types of cumbia, bro. I personally, and I don't know if my wife would be down, but I want to go to those super underground spots where it's like. Super cumbia, bro. Yeah, like cholo vibes, you know what I mean?
A
Like, I feel like she would be down.
B
She would be.
A
Yeah.
B
I think so too. Like, I'm talking about like, like, like, what's it called? Have you seen DJ La Changa? Yeah, like, things like that. I gotta show it to you, Josh. It's super cool. And like, bro, they're like, like underground. They're like. Yeah, like, their style. I mean, I wouldn't dress like them, but their style is so cool. And like there. It's really a different type of genre where it's like, Like. Yeah, right.
A
What's the style?
C
That's my. My dream, actually. Surprisingly. I've never been to something like that, but I. I've been to a couple concerts of one of my favorite groups.
B
I don't know if I haven't heard. No, I would listen to them, though.
C
But they make like punk.
B
Yeah.
C
Like surf rock.
B
Really? Wow.
C
Super good. But their live shows are just really, really amazing. Like, people start moshing.
A
Wow.
C
It's crazy.
A
What?
B
Yeah, that's so. Yeah, you see, it's like there's. Yeah, like that. Like, I love the way they dance. It's. It's such a cool culture. The spiky hair. Like, it's so crazy, bro.
C
I want to go to a Sony that.
B
Yeah, like a Sony Thato.
C
Like, that's been my dream every time.
B
So, like, that's what I kind of want to do. And I haven't done it yet.
C
You have to.
B
And like, it's like, it's such a vibe, bro.
C
Next. Next episode.
B
So what they do is they take cumbia and then they. They lower down the beats per minute. So basically it's a little slower, but it's like. And then obviously they add their. Their stuff to it. But it's very dj. Like, it's.
A
It's.
B
The atmosphere is amazing. It's just fun. It's just. And it's insane sounds. It's almost like Mexican techno in a way. Yeah. So, yeah, that's really cool. I would definitely love to do that.
C
We gotta go.
A
The.
B
The. Everybody wants to know, what's your favorite fast food? You don't look like a fast food. Girly. But maybe. Surprise me.
C
No, after I said I. I'm obsessed with Red 40.
B
Oh, wait, you're right. Sorry. Yeah, dude, because you're from the ie, The Inland Empire.
A
I feel like you're gonna say in and out, unsurprisingly.
B
No, no.
C
But I do love in and out.
B
I do love in and out. Yeah. Favorite fast food. Something you grew up on. Where'd your dad take you recently?
C
After the violence? We always go to canes.
B
Oh, really?
C
Because it's. It's the only thing that's open 1am after the violet, after the Harry pots.
A
You know, I have like a love hate relationship with canes. Like sometimes it hits and then sometimes I've been disappointed. Like, it just doesn't do it for me.
C
Yeah, same.
B
Yeah.
C
But I like the idea of going to Cane.
A
I do too. I get it.
B
After you go inside the restaurant. Oh.
A
With the bread and the little. And then I make like a little sandwich with the sauce.
B
Yeah. I don't think I've ever had canes.
A
My mouth has got water. I think I'm hungry, bro.
C
Are you serious?
A
You never had it? It's.
B
I've got the other one.
A
It's kind of. It's unseasoned chicken, by the way.
C
Honestly, I think I like Chick Fil.
B
A More Chick Fil A.
C
But it's not open at 1:00am no.
B
And they don't open on Sundays either. Yeah, no, we're Jack in the Box, people. I like Jack in the Box.
A
Yeah, but.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
C
Oh, what do you get at Jack in the Box?
B
Number six Ultimate Cheeseburger.
C
You know, I'm mad at Jack in the Box because they. They removed the Sriracha burger.
B
I don't think I had it.
A
Was it good?
C
It was the best.
A
Well, they also removed the ciabatta burger. That broke my heart.
B
And Stevie's still pissed.
A
Yeah, I'm pissed off at John. I thought it was like a brand deal thing or something.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
Like a business.
B
I've never had a Sriracha burger. That's crazy.
C
Oh, it was. It was like sourdough bread.
A
Oh, okay, I'm in.
B
Okay. He likes.
A
I'm in.
B
I'm in.
C
Right?
B
Yeah.
C
Like, there's something similar now at Jack.
A
And the Sourdough Jack.
C
Yeah, but it's similar. Okay, but it had like, sriracha. The sriracha one had sriracha and then it had jalapenos. I mean, like, why Jack in the Box?
B
They'll bring it.
A
They'll bring it back.
B
They'll bring it back and then you're going to get a cloud.
C
It's been years, guys.
A
They brought back the monster tacos.
B
So look at my tattoo. It's just a sriracha burger.
A
The only tattoo she has.
B
Yeah.
A
Do you have tattoos that and durable flavor on the other arm? Yeah.
C
But I will say, like, I do love the Oreo shake.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
Oh, yeah. That's goaded. Yeah. And you know what? It's not. No, it's. No. I worked at Jack in the Box for so many years.
C
It's just like ice cream.
B
And it's just ice cream. And they have already a Oreo kind of powder shake.
A
Yeah.
B
Like crumbs. They have Oreo crumbs. That's what it is.
C
But why is it so good?
B
I don't know. I think. I think it's the ice cream.
A
Yeah.
B
And it's probably like their ice cream machine.
C
But after I eat it, I feel, like, super guilty.
B
Yeah.
C
Not eating for five days.
B
It's a lot of sugar.
C
Yeah. But, you know, guilty. Guilty pleasure.
B
Yeah. 100. Wow. I feel like we just went on a rant right now.
A
We did. We kind of derailed. Yeah.
B
I'm like, what?
A
Oh, yeah.
C
Did you say your order at.
A
Oh, yeah. What's your cane's order at Canes. Thank you.
C
J. I mean, there's like.
B
There's like.
A
Everything's the same. It's like the cania.
B
Yeah.
C
No, but honestly, I get the kids meal.
A
Yeah. Okay. That's just enough.
C
Just two?
A
Yeah.
B
Oh, just two.
A
Bro, you never drink canes. I have to take you to canes.
C
Yo.
A
It just. It just got into California maybe, like with the past five years. I don't know.
C
No, you have to go to a son or like the Kumia. Whatever.
B
Yeah.
A
And then while eating canes. Oh, okay.
B
Canes.
C
After Crazy. During the show.
B
Yeah, yeah. After.
A
Love a little, man.
B
Yeah. It's so crazy. Everybody has a restaurants that they go to, like after Haripelada or whatever. Do you have a restaurant that you like to go to in general, bro?
A
Whatever's open. I'm gonna be real with you, bro.
B
Like, you're not. You're not very picky, huh? I'm not picky.
A
There's not a lot of options. Tacos are like a street hot dog an LA dog.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, like arcane.
B
There's Aranes. There's one restaurant that. It's been consistent for me for so many years, and I love going to it. And I hope that you guys agree with me. Boiling crab Nope.
A
Disagree.
C
I will Agree. I will. I love boing.
B
I love boiling crab. I love to wait in line. I love to wait in line and wait to go into boiling crab. I get excited.
A
Do they open later?
C
Let me tell you.
B
No, there's just always a line.
C
Let me tell you. Let me tell you.
B
Tell me.
C
Let me tell you something.
A
Let me tell you something.
B
Let me tell you something.
C
No. So you go on yelp and you get on the wait list and so you just show up. You just pull up.
A
What?
B
I didn't know you can do that. Yeah, you.
C
You wait in line.
A
It's crazy.
C
That's crazy.
B
It's part of the experience almost.
C
Is it though?
B
Maybe.
C
Is it?
B
I mean, it would be nice if you just walk in. See, that's what you could do.
C
That's why I love it so much.
B
Really.
C
But honestly, I do love.
A
No, with this.
B
How dare you say that. Boiling crab. You don't like to go to boiling crab and sit down inside. Why? Why not?
A
It doesn't do it for me, man.
B
Why?
A
I get it, but not my thing.
B
You eat with your hands, they give you a bib. There's music, there's TVs.
A
Can I be.
B
You can ride on the wall.
A
I'm going to be honest with you guys. Yeah.
B
They give you a marker, you ride on the wall.
A
Okay.
C
Never given me a mark.
A
I love the shrimp there, right? The shrimp is good. I just hate deveining it cuz it's just.
B
Oh, my God. I don't like. De you hear?
A
Don't ask me then, bro. Don't ask me.
C
Yo, I just. I just did it like that.
A
No. Yeah, just like, just with the. With the bro.
B
What are you talking about? You devein your shrimp at boiling crab.
A
I don't want to eat the shrimp. I'd rather have.
B
Mommy, can you devain my shrimp? That's you, Mommy. Mcorta's me pancakes. That's you.
A
Yeah, little.
B
Oh, my God. I apologize for such bad behavior with.
A
A skinny mark, bro.
B
And he gets skinny Margaritas at the bar. Wow.
C
You got the turbo.
B
Okay.
A
I was on the right track.
B
You were on the right track.
C
So you still got that going for.
B
Hey, you're on the right track. And then you devained. Or should I say derailed? Whatever, bro. No regrets. You're doing so good.
C
But boiling craft fries, though.
B
Oh, my God. Fire, right?
C
And that spicy season for the fries.
B
Yeah, like I would go do. I do like the whole shebang, Triple X.
A
The whole thing.
C
Oh, no, no.
B
I do Triple spice. The spice level.
C
I'd be passed out after that.
B
Well, the whole shebang is like all of the spices, and then you pick the spicy levels. So it's the whole shebang spicy or triple?
A
You know what I do like the sausage. The sausage and the corn.
B
Yeah.
A
Because dipping that in that sauce. Okay, I'm with that.
B
And that's one of the restaurants that you leave. You leave and you're like, that was worth it. You know, like, you know when you leave a restaurant and then you're like, oh, my gosh, that's what we bought it for. No, this is like every single sand was worth it.
C
Wait, how many times have you been, though?
A
Okay, that's what I was gonna say. I don't think I've been enough. I've prob like three times and like, like five years ago, and I was.
C
Like, all right, no, you have to go again. I didn't like it at first.
B
Oh, really?
C
But then I started, like, loving it.
B
I love boing crab.
A
I. Everybody I know loves Bo.
B
And I love smelling my fingers after. Okay.
C
Just like. Just like, how you. From you.
B
Yeah, that's so funny. We all got to go to bowling. Crab, bro. It's cuz you haven't been with me, bro.
A
Maybe that's what it is.
B
Start hanging out with me more.
C
And then you dip it in the lime.
A
Yeah.
B
And the lime. The. In the oyster sauce. Are you a picky eater? Is it stevia? Picky eater?
A
There's no way she's not.
B
No, no. Do you like onions, tomatoes?
C
Depends.
B
Like, why does it always depend with the tomato?
C
I won't bite the tomato.
A
You know what? Who does?
C
There's some people that do. I don't love it.
A
Like, do we bite into a tomato?
C
Yeah.
B
Love.
A
I love.
B
I have before.
A
Yeah, with some salad.
B
I've done it. Yeah, with salads. Yeah. I love tomatoes. See, but you don't. Like, that's like, not like a normal thing to do, I guess, here in California or in America.
C
But I'll have it on my burger.
A
Okay.
C
Okay, I'll do all that.
B
Okay.
A
Mushrooms.
B
Mushrooms. Oh, that's a good mushroom.
A
Cuz. Texture. A lot of people, it's like a texture thing.
B
What about like raw seafood? Like oysters, camarones? Like our chila vibes?
C
I'm doing.
B
Yeah. Maris.
C
Maris.
B
Good. Same. Okay, what about this? What about temperature on your steak?
C
All of them.
B
Okay, cool. They're not.
A
Good answer.
B
You're not ready.
A
Anybody say all of them?
B
All of them.
A
That's like, don't matter, bro. That's crazy. Don't matter. Honestly, surprise me.
B
Imagine you go to a restaurant. How would you like your steak, ma'?
A
Am?
B
Surprise me.
A
Surprise me.
B
That's so funny. That's cool. Yeah. So you're not picky?
C
No, honestly, I. A pet peeve.
B
Oh, what is a Steve, right?
C
Are you guys picking it?
B
0.
C
Doesn'T want to try something just because of how it looks or the.
B
Texture or they'll be.
A
They'll make it, like, a big deal. Like, I'm not eating that. Like, don't do that. Don't, Don't. Don't hit me with that.
C
No, like, that's a pet peeve. Like, why you haven't tried it?
B
Or like, when I sit down with. I have a friend. Like, when I sit down with them and he orders, like, something on the menu, he'll, like, order the things. But can you not do this? What is it cooked in? Yeah, but can I have that on the side? Oh, and then can you take this off? And this. I'm like.
A
Bro, I have a friend, and I don't want to call him out. Pedro. He, like, every time we sit down, eat. I love Pedro. If you're watching this, bro, I had to do it this to you. Oh, my God. It's not even a big deal. Like, we'll, like, we'll order stuff, right? Bring stuff out to the table. And he always says the way he says it, though, right? He's like, what is that? And I'm like, just.
C
And then. And.
A
And just because he says it like that, bro, I go, shut up and eat it. Like, I'm not even going to answer what it is. Just because the way you said it, if it was like, oh, what is it? What is it? Like, you know, if curiosity.
B
Like, what is that?
A
I'm like, dude, dude, don't.
B
That I get. I get what you're saying. You know, I think. Yeah. One of my. One of my pet peeves is when I'm with, like, a friend or something, and then the food comes or, like, whatever. And then they're like, oh, my God, this is a lot. Don't eat it all. Yeah, no, we're not picky at all. I actually pride myself on, like, eating everything.
A
Me, too.
C
But it's. Because sometimes it is a lot and I'm not gonna eat.
A
No, honestly, that's fair.
B
I guess that's fair. Just.
A
Yeah.
B
I don't know.
A
Sometimes.
C
Unless there's someone who eats it for me.
B
Yeah. Yeah. I'll be like, I'll Eat it.
C
Sorry. I have a tiny stomach. Sorry.
B
Yeah, no, we pride ourselves on eating everything. It's, it's, it's, it's. I think it's. It's cool. I like it. I love oysters. I love everything.
A
It's cool. Same.
C
I tried making our chiles and I don't think I'll ever do it again.
B
It's. You know, it's such a simple process, but DNAs get the net. Some sort of sasson to it. Like the way that they make it at the restaurants.
A
It's like a touch.
B
There's a certain touch to it. You don't just, like, just get raw shrimp and hey, Los banas and limon and blah, blah. Like, there's a. There's an art to it.
A
Like ceviche. Like, ceviche is easier.
B
Yeah, it is easier. Yeah. Why didn't. Why don't you. What happened? Like, what. What scarred you?
A
Yeah.
C
I'm scared of telling you. You're gonna be like. No, it was the debating thing. Like.
B
Yeah, but that's. No, there's no problem with deveining your shrimp.
C
It's because.
B
No, he does it at boiling crab.
C
Okay, okay. Yeah.
B
That you're cooking something. That's fine.
C
Because it was like the whole process of doing it over and over again.
B
Yeah.
C
I was like, I don't want to eat that.
B
Yeah. Can't you buy the shrimp deveined?
A
I think so. Yeah.
B
Yeah. It's not the same.
C
Yeah.
A
Not the same.
B
Yeah.
A
You got to buy them whole.
