Like, there's been, like, a bunch of hype leading up to, like, this season unfolding. And it. The whole season was just so beautiful, bro. This has been one of my favorite Dodger seasons ever. I was always in love with the Dodgers, but this season made me fall deeply, romantically, like, in love with them in a almost, like, sick way. To the point that I went to three World Series games.

I didn't go to so many because I always felt like I was a bad luck. And then, you know, what effort.

So, okay, basically Tommy John's surgery, also known as old nargo reconstruction, was first performed on a baseball pitcher, Tommy John in 1974 by Dr. Frank Jobe.

Tommy John surgery has become a common procedure in the mlb, especially for pitchers. It has made it possible for players to return from injuries that would have previously ended their careers.

Okay, going Back to Game 1 from the Dodgers against the Yankees. First of all, my mom watched that game at home and she said, mijo, I've never seen something so magical. Magical. It was insane. It was beautiful. It was poetic, right? And it was, you know, it was. It was crazy like that. I think will go down in history as one of the most beautiful games ever.

At least beautiful innings ever.

It was crazy.

You know, the pitching was phenomenal from both teams. I said, mom, I'm so happy that you saw that game. And I'm glad that you feel like that about baseball now, because they really got her hooked.

And I said, but I don't think you nor me will ever see a game that beautiful in our lives. It just doesn't happen. First of all, Yankees, Dodgers, that's alone. It's that. That those teams are the. It's like the pinnacle of baseball and some would say even the pinnacle of sports. If those two teams go at it for a championship title, it's like. It is. You can't write it up. It's already rare enough that they're playing. The fact that we see them play is magical. Everybody should watch it. Even if you don't like baseball. Right? They're pitching a fantastic game. Shohei Otani is finally at the World Series. He's with the Angels for, I think, six seasons. Didn't win. You know what I mean? He's finally with MLB. He has the biggest sports. No MLB contract contract ever, which is $700 million.

I want to say that's the biggest sports contract in general.

I want to say that too, but I. I don't want to. I gotta fact check myself later. But in mlb, it's the fattest payday ever. So not only he's already making history, he does a 50, 50 show. Hey, yo. Tiny's end the first year being a Dodger, he's in the World Series. Right? Obviously, it's not just him. It's the. The. The great teammates that he has behind it. So I told my mom that, and I said, not only that, the game was phenomenal. It's game one. They walk. Mookie bets. It's bottom of the 10th. I told my mom, mom, they only go normally for nine. It's bottom of the 10. It's. It's extra innings. Bases are loaded, loaded. Dodgers Are down by a point. All Freddy needs to do is really just hit a single and make somebody tired. Yeah, yeah, right. And. And they walk Mookie bet. People say, like they walked Mookie bets because they think that Mookie was better than Freeman. No, no. If, you know baseball, it's not because Mookie's better than Freeman. It's not that if, you know the pitcher was left handed. When it's a left handed pitcher, they wanna. They want to pitch with left handed batters or hitters. So that's why Freddie came.

It was a better matchup.

It was a better matchup because the left handed pitcher does better when the, when the, when the batter is left handed as well, like Freddy Freeman. Bases are loaded, they bring a nester. Cortez Poito. The first pitch, bro, It's a walkoff. Grand slam. Walk off. Grand slam. When I say walk off, that means game's over. There's nothing else you can do. Walk off, grand slam at Dodger Stadium. First pitch, game over, bottom of the tenth. Like, it's incredible what happened.

No. For sure. But one thing I've noticed about, like, baseball, especially, like a game like the World Series, game, one that is really the start of what can start a huge wave of momentum. And I feel like when you do something that grand, bro, the momentum that the Dodgers had after that, they were walking around with some bde, bro, everybody, there was this aura around them because it's like, what, just they just witness.

And mind you, when Sea Geek told us that they were going to send us a game 5, this is before the series even started. So this was in the assumption that we were going to go to game five. Right. Like, we don't know. We didn't know where the series was going to go. We had no idea that the Dodgers were going to be leading 3. 0. Right. We were like, oh, there's for sure gonna be a game five. So we end up going to New York. I end up going to New York two days prior to you just because you guys ended up leaving with Karen for like the marathon and stuff. But when I got there with, with all the boys and stuff like that, we weren't supposed to go to game four. We were only supposed to go to go to game five through Sea Geek.

But because the Dodgers were winning 3. 0, I was like, yo, there's a huge chance that they're just gonna close it out and sweep the Yankees.

Like, there's just no way the Yankees just bow down like that.

The atmosphere on game four, that's when we went to. Right, yeah.

I've never been up, actually, Padre Stadium, if I can be real with you, I've never been over there. But everybody goes to the Padre Stadium. But even when you go to Padre Stadium, there's mad Dodger fans. You don't really feel like an away team. Right.

You definitely don't feel like in an away team. And people might get mad, but you don't feel like you're in a weight team at Angel Stadium. You don't.

And mind you, the reason we're late is New York traffic is a bro.

I tried to take the subway for game four and I could. It just took so long. So me, me and Johnny, we just like, we're like, dude, let's just take the. An Uber. Like, this is, this is insane. And the Uber alone, from where we were at maybe about like, I don't know, 10 miles out took almost an hour.

Yeah, it's crazy because, like, you'll get to the stadium like in 45 minutes. But to get into the actual stadium is another 20, 30, easily the destination. You'll get there in 45. But that doesn't mean you're inside the stadium at 45.

So mind you going up the stairs, by the time we sat down, it was already 3, 4, 0. We were down 4.

No, 3, 0. We were down 3.

We were down 3, 0. So I mean, even sitting down, it's like, damn, they might take it today. And then boom, boom, boom. Five, zero. And then, as you know, the fifth inning, the Dodgers broke the gates of hell, bro.

What's crazy is that. Would you say we were sitting in the lion's den of Yankee fans?

I mean, from, from sitting down and already accepting that we are going to take it to game six in Los Angeles, which I wasn't really mad about, but my whole thing and what scared me the most was being up 3, 0 to going back to game six in LA from being, from being up 3 0. Right. Three games. Them taking one in New York, them taking another in New York, which is 3, 2. I was scared we were gonna lose momentum, Momentum in la. And it would have been three, three. And if we would have lost game seven, you're gonna tell me that we lost the World Series by being up 3, 0.

That would have been wild.

That would have broken my heart. And I kept thinking that in my head and I said, that's. I was like. I was like, oh, you're gonna. People knew. My friends and family know I was gonna go to game five. And I said, I hope I don't because it just scared me. Don't go to game playing.

It can. Maybe we can win. I think we won one or two with them.

Normally, it's kind of like a sacrifice game. It's like whatever happens, happens. You know, we don't have as much starting pitchers as we had in the beginning of the season. A lot of them got injured.

So me even going into. I'm like, this is gonna be tough. But I did say in the beginning, because who was the first team that we played? And I will give kudos. But we played the Padres, and to me, that was the scariest team to play because they're really good. The Padres. The Padres pitching the pot. The Padre players, They're good and they're hungry.

That was also a fun series.

I think we had a really, like, tough. We played good teams, man. Yeah, it wasn't. It wasn't fun being a. Being a Dodger fan this week in New York, bro. Because not only did we beat the Yankees, we also beat the Mets, and they're from Queens.

So it was scary wearing my Dodger hat around.

New York Marathon this year actually broke records in astonishing of over 50000 people. Was there. Have you ever seen 50000 people? I did. And they're all running. For everybody who joined the New York Marathon, congratulations. Finishing 26.2 miles in any marathon Is.

In any mar. And all marathons, because all marathons are 26.2 miles. But it was really beautiful. And shout out to my wife, Karen, she did it. She PR'd her time.
