Josh Leva
That was a really good guess.
Sebas
Really good guess, actually.
Josh Leva
Jess, take it away.
Eric Ochoa
198. Really? Dude, I was born in 98.
Josh Leva
Me too, bro.
Sebas

Josh Leva

Josh Leva
We were in the old studio.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, that's right.
Josh Leva
The little. The shoe box of a studio.
Eric Ochoa
And upgraded. It looks just a little bit.
Josh Leva
Just a little bit. We have a team now that kind of keeps us in check.
Eric Ochoa
Hell yeah.
Josh Leva
And they have a. They're called Camera four.
Sebas
Yeah, four.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, yeah.
Sebas
How long has it been?
Eric Ochoa
Like two years since we.
Sebas
A year and a half. Two years?
Josh Leva
No, over two years, bro.
Eric Ochoa
I think like three.
Josh Leva
We didn't like two and a half years. Yeah, cuz we're three years on La platica since I've been on.
Sebas
Yeah, yeah, cuz I remember you're like one of the first guests that we. We had ever since.
Eric Ochoa
When number Was I there? 98.
Josh Leva
That's a good question. Jess. Can we look this up real quick? No, you. Brad, imagine you were 98.
Eric Ochoa
That'd be crazy, bro.
Josh Leva
That would be crazy.
Sebas
I mean, it kind of makes sense. No, but we started around like 30 something.
Josh Leva
What does?
Sebas
He's probably like 50, 40 something. Anyways.
Eric Ochoa
Take another guess.
Josh Leva
Were we numbering them at that time?
Eric Ochoa
No, 54.
Josh Leva
Damn. We weren't, bro. We were all over the place. It's all good.
Sebas
We were numbering them, were we? Yeah, bro, I numbered all of them. What the hell? Put some respect on my name.
Josh Leva
Yeah. Should we start this episode?
Sebas
Let me do the quick intro so we can just get right on it.
Josh Leva
Come on, man.
Sebas
Guys, Happy Monday. It's Monday. And four days from now, it's the live show. Jesus Christ. Wait, is this episode going on this Monday? No. Yes. Maybe.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Yes, yes. Yes.
Eric Ochoa
This Monday's episode.
Josh Leva
Yeah, it's live, bro.
Sebas
Okay, so four days from now, we got a live show at the bra. The bra Improv. Nice. Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Too much bone ducks. Yeah.
Josh Leva
Why are you cussing so much, dog?
Sebas
I'm just excited, bro. In four days from now, we're gonna see everybody who got tickets at the Brand Prof. And we're gonna put on a spectacular show.
Josh Leva
We hope. Yeah, we're gonna be live.
Sebas
Yeah, we're gonna be live in action. So happy Monday. Mondays don't suck. But you already knew that. Notifications on Follow Sasson Studios on YouTube as well. Look at this new logo, banner, whatever this is. It was just my birthday. I'm 35 years old now. I can say whatever the I want. I am. I am that now.
Josh Leva
Wow.
Sebas
But you gotta say shout out to our good friends over at sea, geek, for sponsoring every single video and always rocking with us.
Josh Leva

Sebas
You see, geek, for. For the Dodgers game. The Dodgers just whooped that Yankees ass. Two. Two out of two. Two games out of three. Series 18. Two historical. Go Dodgers.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
But shout out to everybody that lives in New York.
Josh Leva
Yeah. And for everybody out there who's on the treadmill right now getting your makeup ready, you know, making your little coffee in the morning. Shout out to you. Happy Monday. Hope you guys have a great week.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
If you guys are coming to a live show, like I said, we cannot wait to see you, meet you, and put on a spectacular show for your entertainment.
Sebas
Yeah.
Josh Leva
And just share that experience with you guys. We have an incredible guest. This is. He's a reoccurring guest we already introduced. I just want to do a quick little intro.
Eric Ochoa
This is.
Josh Leva
This man is a legend. One of my good friends. Somebody who paved the way for myself and a bunch of other, you know, creators. An og, a pioneer and a husband, a. A father, a baby daddy. It's. It's. It's our boy Eric, AKA super ego in the money.
Eric Ochoa
Hello. Beautiful introduction. Thank you.
Josh Leva
I remembered everything.
Sebas
I remember when you first.
Josh Leva
Oh, business owner, too. My bad.
Eric Ochoa
Oh. Oh, that. That's. That's entrepreneur.
Josh Leva
Entrepreneur. Got the hottest chili oils in the game.
Sebas
And the hottest.
Eric Ochoa
And.
Sebas
And the hottest Chila in the game.
Josh Leva
M talking about your weenie.
Eric Ochoa
Yes.
Sebas
Yes, we are. We're talking about that weenie.
Josh Leva
Pull it out.
Eric Ochoa
Pull it out.
Sebas
Can you zoom into his bulge real quick? Matt. Eric, thanks for coming, man.
Eric Ochoa
Thank you so much for having me.
Sebas
I remember the first time when he was on the show. Yeah, obviously I've known about Eric, but that wasn't the first time I met Eric. Right, Josh?
Josh Leva
I Don't think so.
Sebas
Was it Eric, you.
Eric Ochoa
I believe you said that was the. Yeah, I think that was the first time it was.
Sebas
Right. Okay, so it was so special for me to have him on the show because after the show, nobody knew. But we went to Joey's after.
Eric Ochoa
Did we? Oh, we did.
Sebas
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Like a tradition. We used to do that all the time.
Eric Ochoa
You guys don't do that anymore?
Josh Leva
We don't.
Eric Ochoa
You guys change.
Josh Leva
We don't even really drink on the show anymore.
Eric Ochoa
Really? Good. Good.
Josh Leva
Yeah, it's good. Honestly. Good.
Eric Ochoa
Good. Cuz our. Our last. We were. We were crazy.
Josh Leva
But every once in a while when we bring out like the. What they. I feel like it hits, bro. Like that episode hits.
Sebas
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, you know, we went to Joey's and we had such a good time and I did feel like I was like, damn, Eric's so cool. And I don't know, I don't know what you consider me, but I consider you my friend now.
Eric Ochoa
Se. Let's be best friends.
Sebas
Thank you.
Eric Ochoa
Let's be friends.
Sebas
Yeah. And we had a good time. So from then on I was like, yo, bro, whenever you want to come in the show, come on in. Maybe it took a little longer than. Than I wanted to, but look, you're here now. The new stew. And we getting it popping.
Eric Ochoa
Damn. We're getting it popping.
Sebas
Popping.
Eric Ochoa
We popping, popping. That's beautiful. So thank you.
Sebas
Yeah, you're welcome. We had a great dinner, didn't we?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, yeah, we had a great dinner.
Sebas
And we got smash.
Eric Ochoa
We got matching tattoos on our butts.
Josh Leva
Yeah, I remember.
Eric Ochoa
Should we show it now?
Josh Leva
Yeah, we can show it now. We can show later.
Eric Ochoa
We'll show later. Show later.
Josh Leva
Keep the, Keep the viewers engaged.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, yeah, but we show it. But shots are coming, Matt.
Josh Leva
But shots.
Eric Ochoa
We were talking about.
Sebas
We were talking about.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, it's okay.
Josh Leva
Or Matthew. Yeah. Or Benaki.
Sebas
No, yeah, it's Benaki. I like that. So we were talking to Jess not so long ago and we were like, dude, I can't believe. I wish you would have like seen how we used to roll back at the other studio. Cuz like we were doing everything right. We were setting up the cameras, we were producing video and at the same time we were drunk. As I'm talking about, like Alico. Like, hey, you know, it was such a beautiful time because like, me and Josh, we've been friends for such a long time. But this is something so new that we were starting again, you know, like being like, like on the show. So like Every time we'd work, it's basically like, hey, we're hanging out now.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
So like, hey, wanna have a show? You know what I mean?
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
And then like, it's just like so much fun. Like nobody was there. Just me and him. What's up, dude? He's heading. He said he's helping me set up the cameras. Obviously he's always late. He's always been late, but he comes in late. And then, you know, it's like, you want to take a shot before the show, you know, and then after that, be another shot. Another shot. Like, Jesus Christ. But we'd go to dinner after, you know that.
Eric Ochoa
A couple more shots.
Sebas
Yeah. And it was just such a good time. But I told Jessica and I'm like, dude, only if you knew how this shit, like, and it like worked out.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Like, I feel like if we didn't do that, I feel like lap. I think I wouldn't have been like, what it is.
Josh Leva
I agree.
Sebas
But everything's worked out. And that. We always like joke around Jess and we're like, dude, this show has like been made up just by us being drunk as having fun. Like our success comes with being drunk.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And, and, and I don't think I helped. I brought like a 1940. Okay. Remember that?
Sebas
You have a good memory. He does, right?
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Well, it's cuz I stopped drinking.
Josh Leva
I was just about to say that. I feel like that's helped, right? Like more like mental clarity. Feeling better, energized.
Sebas
That is true. We talked about this at the Salud party. You said I actually stopped drinking. How long have.
Eric Ochoa
Which was very tough cuz everyone was lit and, and just vibing. And you know what's funny is like the next day, Josh, we, we, we talked. He called me up and we're talking about something and he was like, he said, boobs. You weren't. Wait, you weren't drunk last night? I was like, no. I was like, wait, you drove home? I was like, yeah. He's like, dude, I saw you, you look drunk. And I was like, no, that was just me.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Vibing, chilling.
Josh Leva
Yeah. You know, well, dude, I feel like that's just like who you are as a person. Like you have this like very bubbly, outgoing personality. And like you, you were just being yourself. And I think just me being lit. I was like, he definitely is lit.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sebas
No, he wasn't.
Josh Leva
You know, when you're late, you just assume everybody else around you is lit. Remember?
Sebas
I wasn't drinking either.
Josh Leva
You drink at all that party.
Sebas
No, not that party.
Eric Ochoa
Where I saw.
Josh Leva
So how many days are you in right now?
Eric Ochoa
I can tell you. Actually, we'll have a little.
Sebas
Oh, there's an app for them.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, there's a little count meter. It's called like, no Mo Liquor.
Sebas
Dang. That's right.
Eric Ochoa
Take a guess. Whoever guesses right gets to kiss me.
Josh Leva
154.
Sebas
Oh, my God. I'm about to get this.
Eric Ochoa
Okay, 154.
Sebas
It's days or we're not doing months.
Eric Ochoa
I mean, well, they add up to months.
Sebas
Yeah, I'm gonna say 158. 158 days.
Eric Ochoa
154. What?
Josh Leva
I guess you're right on the money.
Eric Ochoa
Wait, wait, I made.
Sebas
No, wait. You're kissing the wrong 152.
Eric Ochoa
152.
Josh Leva
Okay. I was like, damn, I was good.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
Wait, what did you say?
Josh Leva
154.
Sebas
Oh, they said 148.
Eric Ochoa
No, you guys were both very close.
Josh Leva
Yeah, well, I just. Because you said you started January, right?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
So I was just doing quick math.
Sebas
Yeah. And I mean, I know I already asked you this, but, like, how do you feel?
Eric Ochoa
I feel great.
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
I feel like I've been a little more locked in this year. The bigger thing for me is, like. I don't even know if I want to say this lie.
Sebas
Just.
Eric Ochoa
Just say it, dude, I'm turning 40 next year. What?
Sebas
What?
Eric Ochoa
I know.
Josh Leva
Yeah, maybe you don't want to say that.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Yeah.
Sebas
Matt, cut this out.
Eric Ochoa
I'm turning.
Josh Leva
Dude, that is crazy.
Sebas
Yeah, I forgot, bro. You look great, but you always look. What the.
Eric Ochoa
Guys, please.
Sebas
What the.
Josh Leva
I just know you're turning 40 next year.
Eric Ochoa
I'm turning 40 next year. Yeah. Yeah. So for me, I was just like, I want to do something different, like before my 40th. And I'm like, I. I just. I'm not going to drink up until your 40th. Oh, I'm gonna go crazy in my 40s, bro. I'm gonna. No, no, I, like, I kind of like it. Like, it's just kind of made me focus a little more. Like, cuz, like, I have kids, you know, my wife. And so it's just. It's kind of like, had me a little more focused, like, even on social media again, like my.
Josh Leva
My feeling it.
Eric Ochoa
Thank you, bro. Thank you. But it's just. I don't know. Like, I just said, no more. No more.
Josh Leva
Wow.
Eric Ochoa
No more.
Josh Leva
What's been your favorite, like, thing about not drinking.
Eric Ochoa
The control, but just having a little more control? Like. Like the parties that go in places and just kind of like, oh, no, I'm fine. I'm good.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Because it's actually bringing me back to, like, a memory when I was. I didn't drink until I was 21. I don't know if you know that. Yeah, really, I didn't drink at all. Like, I was always the guy that, like, oh, yo, yo, Eric doesn't drink. Like, stop offering him stuff. Like, my boy Tim, Peter, like, everybody was always like, oh, I thought that.
Sebas
Was you saying that in, like, third person.
Eric Ochoa
No, no, that. That was. That was me saying them.
Josh Leva
He's like, well, that too.
Sebas
Imagine. Hey, do you want to drink? Doesn't drink.
Eric Ochoa
Eric doesn't drink.
Sebas
I love when people talk like that about themselves. That's so baller.
Eric Ochoa
Like, Mayweather does that all the time, bro. Money may. But, yeah, that's kind of how I like that, bro.
Sebas
Isn't it crazy that, like, you know, you'll be in like. Like, for example, you're like, in a peda, right? And you get drunk, and the next day you're like, bro. I feel like, bro. And then it's all gone. Like, that time is gone. Yeah, that funsy drunk time was gone.
Eric Ochoa
And you just deal with the hangover.
Sebas
You just have to deal with it now. And, like, yeah, it's fun and stuff, but like, now it's like, for example, that party. The only reason why I didn't drink, that party where Eric wasn't drinking, obviously he's not drinking at all, is because I had to go on a flight to Mexico the next day in the morning.
Eric Ochoa
That's right.
Sebas
But there's so many times now where I'm like, I'm only really kind of drinking for, like, special occasions. If that. Because now it's just like, bro, like, if I don't drink the next day, you feel so proud of yourself because you're like, yeah, bro. Big whoop. Yeah, I'm chilling now. You know what I mean? I got in a workout, and not only that, I'm just like, I feel good.
Eric Ochoa
You get so much done. Like, wake up earlier, you do the little workouts, you know, whatever it is. And it's just kind of like, oh, and I got energy for the rest of the day. So, yeah, feels good.
Josh Leva
But it's also boring when you don't drink.
Eric Ochoa
You don't know. You're absolutely right. Like, there's moments where it can be.
Josh Leva
That is true. Especially if you, like, know what it is to, like, drink and be with your friends and stuff. Like, that it's not the same.
Eric Ochoa
And I'm not saying that for anybody. Like, oh, you know, like, I'm a, like, like, yeah. Drink response.
Josh Leva
No.
Eric Ochoa
You know, but yeah, for me, like, it was just kind of like more of this goal, this mindset. But as. As I'm going through it, like, I'm almost thinking, like, huh, Do I want to go back?
Josh Leva
Interesting.
Sebas
So that's what I was about to ask you.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
When, like, my wife stopped drinking for a while. She didn't. She'll have a glass of champagne or something every blue moon or on a special occasion, but like, she stopped cold turkey for a while. And then after that, you know, I think she celebrates something and she's just like, I don't really want to go back to that.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
I've perfectly fine the way that I am without drinking.
Josh Leva
So you're thinking about.
Sebas
I was about to say you're gonna start. I mean, you're probably already starting that mentality.
Eric Ochoa
But you know what's crazy is like, I. So I've listened to like, podcasts and other people that. That are in their sobriety stage, and one of them is like, Tom Holland.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Right. Guy that plays Spider Man. And so he. He kind of speaks about that and he opened up about how, yeah, party sometimes it just becomes a little boring. But once you get past that stage, you just kind of become this person. It's kind of like, oh, it's cool. Yeah, it's all right.
Josh Leva
Okay. So I heard that same thing too, then. Yeah, that's what I got it from. Because I don't. Maybe it wasn't him, but somebody was just John Mayer. Could have been John Mayer.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Just basically. He doesn't drink either.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, he doesn't drink anymore.
Josh Leva
Wow.
Eric Ochoa
He kind of just talked about how, like, when he was at parties and he just would get too sloppy.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
His thing was, like, he was a little too irresponsible with it.
Josh Leva
Got it.
Eric Ochoa
You know, and I think sometimes for me, like, I could have been like, you know, sometimes I'm just like, especially doing the stand up stuff that I was doing. Like, I was just. I was pounding them and I was like the. The last guy up. So I was just like, okay, like, dude, I've already had like three drinks, couple shots, and then I have more shots on stage. I like to make it a whole vibe, which was fun, but I was like, let me lock in a little more and. And focus on these jokes.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
You know.
Josh Leva
Do you feel like your standup has gotten better?
Eric Ochoa
Because, dude, a Lot better.
Josh Leva
Wow.
Eric Ochoa
Vanessa, my wife, she's like. She goes, hey, you didn't. You didn't forget your jokes? Or, like. Like, sometimes I would start a joke, and then I just start another one, and I was like, yo. Like, I'm literally, like, just up there, like. Like a pendejo. Wow. But it was fun still. But at the same time, let me lock in a little more.
Josh Leva
Yeah. But going back to what I was saying, like, some. Okay, so there was person. There was person being interviewed. They were sober, right? And then there was this new person who was, like, entering their sobriety, and they basically said the same thing. I remember. They were like, it's like, it's just a little boring when we go out. And the person said, that's just something you got to get over. It is. You just gotta learn that that's just what it is. But then it just doesn't become boring because that just becomes a new norm. You're just used to being out and being yourself and creating that environment for yourself. You know what I mean? Like, it's not a crutch anymore. Like, you're just. You're just.
Eric Ochoa
I'll tell you how it starts, though. It. It really does very, very FOMO Y. Because it's kind of like everyone is doing shots, like, now. You got to get to a point where, like, as the homies, like, bro, shot. Shot. Like, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm used to that, bro. I'm. I'm in that shit sometimes.
Josh Leva
I'm buying the rounds.
Eric Ochoa
I'm doing it. I'm buying the rounds. And then sometimes, like, I've gotten now, like, oh, come on.
Sebas
Come on.
Eric Ochoa
You kind of feel, like, pushed off to the side a little bit. You're like, oh, that's right. Like, Eric doesn't do shots anymore. Eric doesn't drink right now. So once you kind of get over that, you're kind of like, oh, it's cool. It's fine. I. I got my little, you know, cranberry or whatever I'm drinking. And so it just. It kind of becomes that, and you start to get used to it, and people start putting, like, a little more respect on it. That's cool. Oh, it's cool. Like, he doesn't drink.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
So that's kind of it. You can still dance. You could still, you know, chill.
Sebas
Yeah, that's the thing.
Eric Ochoa
Converse.
Sebas
It's also kind of hard on yourself when you. When you don't drink those nights. Because if you're allowing yourself to go out and you're telling yourself, okay, well, you're gonna go out and you're gonna. And you're gonna have fun, and you're not gonna drink. Just make sure you don't have a fuchi face on either, you know?
Eric Ochoa
Oh, for sure.
Sebas
Yeah. Because sometimes. And me and my wife talked about it, too, because sometimes we don't drink when we go out and we've caught both of ourselves kind of like, just kind of being. Not boring, but, like, just a bot. We're just there.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
So you also have to put that pressure on yourself, too. Like, yo, if I'm going to Josh's birthday party, let's just not fucking sit on the couch and look at people either, you know? No, boy, you know, like, let's not go then. It's. It's hard to. Because now you challenge yourself to be, like, entertaining.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Like, they invited me because I'm me and they know I'm gonna be fun and. And I want to be like, you know, life of the party as well, without drinking. So you start challenging yourself, and then when you do it, oh, that was fun. Without drinking, you know, so it's like, it's cool. But now it's like, okay, if I'm gonna go out and not drink.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
I'm not gonna go and put my Fuji face on either. And it's not that it's fuchi. I'm just, like, not drinking, so I'm just kind of, like, chill.
Josh Leva
Yeah. And everybody's on a different vibe.
Sebas
Yeah. But, like, I don't like being the guy that's just fucking quiet or, like, not fudgeing, jumping up and down. You know, I'm a very person and, like, I talk to anybody, but there are times where it's like, when you're not drinking and everybody is. You do feel like you're just. You're the boring one.
Eric Ochoa
Let me ask you this. Have you guys ever, like, been to a thing, a function, you didn't drink, and you get to see other people get, like, super lit, so. So drunk, where you're kind of like, oh. Huh?
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Is that. Is that what I said?
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Eric Ochoa
It's interesting. Anyways, let's take some shots.
Sebas
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Congratulations, though, dude, because I know that's. That's a challenge, man. And I'm glad that you're sticking with it and everything. So it's going to be. You're going to do it this whole year. That's the goal.
Eric Ochoa
I'm already, like, halfway there, right? We're in June.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, we're in June, so we're in June, dude. What?
Sebas
Don't you feel like January? And January lasted three months.
Eric Ochoa
I do.
Josh Leva
That's usually how it goes. I feel the first month.
Sebas
But this January was kind of crazy, bro.
Eric Ochoa
A lot of crazy.
Sebas
All that. That happened in January.
Eric Ochoa
A lot of stuff.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sebas
But no, we're in June already. Yeah.
Josh Leva
Crazy, bro. Crazy.
Sebas
It's Gemini season. Shout out to all the Geminis out there.
Josh Leva
Dude, last time you were on the pod, did you have the chili oil line?
Eric Ochoa
No, I didn't have it yet.
Josh Leva
Wow.
Eric Ochoa
No, it was. It was in the.
Sebas
In the works.
Eric Ochoa
In the works? Yeah. And so it's crazy the way that that kind of came about was I was shooting these cholo housewife videos where it's like just basically the. The cholo character I have. And he was just, like, dedicated to his queen. Like, anything, whatever you want me, Rena.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And it started to pop off because so many women in the comments were like, where can I get one of these?
Josh Leva
Right?
Eric Ochoa
You know? So I was like, yes, okay, let me. Let me stick to this. I was shooting that with my boy, Alberto Portillo. Really great guy. He, like, directs stuff, writer. And so he was like, yo, we could shoot these at my house. We started shooting them, and after about a year of shooting this stuff, one of his neighbors shows up with a chili char oil. And he goes, hey, bro, can you take a picture with this now? And I looked at it, and my face was on it.
Sebas
Oh.
Eric Ochoa
And I was like, what's this, bro? What, for real? Yeah, bro. It was so weird. And so, like, he's like, oh, Alberto didn't tell you? I was like, nah. Tell me what? And so there I am taking the picture, and I'm just like, like the first dude, I have to send you the photo because I'm like this. I'm like, I look so annoyed and confused.
Josh Leva
He had no idea what was going on. Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And so he was like, my mom makes this amazing chili oil. You know, it's got, like, olive oils, it's got dried up chiles. It's made with, like, GMO free.
Sebas
Yeah. The macros. That's why I like it so much. The macros are insane.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, dude, zero. Like, it's like five calories. It's super clean. He goes, but I. I just. I threw your face on it. Like, I'm hoping you like it. I'm like, all right, bro. So I took it home with me. I tried it, and I was like, yo. I was like, okay, let's. Let's come up with, like, a couple other flavors.
Josh Leva
Is it the same packaging?
Eric Ochoa
No, no, the packaging was. Was a little different.
Josh Leva
Okay.
Eric Ochoa
But yeah, like, his. His sister does the art. She's, like, super dope. Yeah.
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
There you go.
Josh Leva
Wow.
Eric Ochoa
And so we got some.
Sebas
While you talk. I couldn't do that.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Yeah. The chili oils. We have the downest food, which is our hottest.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
We have the sweet food and the og foo. And in the very back, we have a sock meter to let you know how hot it is.
Josh Leva
That's crazy.
Eric Ochoa
It's@thehousefood.com.
Josh Leva
It'S brilliant, bro. And it's absolutely delicious. And I'm not just saying this because, like, you're one of my best friends. It's. It's incredible product, bro. It's an incredible product. It enhances the experience of food, and it's really well done.
Eric Ochoa
Chicken, your sopa. Yeah. Yeah.
Sebas
I'm not just saying that because he. Because he's one of your best friends.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
And I'm your really good friend now.
Eric Ochoa
Yes.
Sebas
I told you this. And I'm not even gonna put him under the. Under the bus. I talk more about your chili than him.
Eric Ochoa
Wow.
Josh Leva
Okay.
Eric Ochoa
Wow.
Sebas
And that. Me. And that says a lot.
Eric Ochoa
Okay.
Sebas
Because he always talks about it. I am such a fan of your chili oil. And so is my wife, Karen.
Eric Ochoa
Yes.
Sebas
Big fans, bro. I kid you not. My wife. Because my wife's the one that buys it all the time.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
And obviously I get to reap the benefits of that. But she buys your. Without tagging it. Without doing anything. Without nothing. Just a real, real fat. It is delicious. And once again, there's a lot of chili oils out there, and they're super high on fat.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
And they're super high on canola oil. Sodium is fine. It's. It's fine. Whatever. But they're super high on fat, and this one is not. That's why I put it on everything.
Eric Ochoa
100% olive oil.
Sebas
Yeah, everything. Have you ever put it on your Frosted Flakes?
Eric Ochoa
No. Wow.
Sebas
Good, bro.
Josh Leva
Have you ever tried it on ceviche?
Eric Ochoa
Yes. 100%. Yes.
Sebas
No. You know what I do instead of cooking with regular avocado oil for your eggs. Yeah. I use the as a base.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
And it just brings so much flavor into not only my eggs, but my life.
Eric Ochoa
Let's go. Can we. Can we just clip that? And can we just. Thank you. Send that to me, Matthew. Thank you. Matthew, zoom in.
Sebas
No, I kid you not. No, thank you.
Eric Ochoa
Thank you so much, man. Appreciate it.
Josh Leva
And no, they're Insanely good, bro.
Eric Ochoa
You.
Josh Leva
You got something really, truly special here. And I'm glad that you went this route with, like, the product. Like, you could have done, like, another Tapatio, which would have been so on brand for you.
Eric Ochoa
It's crazy.
Josh Leva
But, yeah, bro, this is so cool and unique, and it's incredibly delicious. Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Thank you. Yeah. Like I said, it's got a little sock meat on the back, last thing I'm saying.
Josh Leva
And I. I feel like, you know, and I really mean this. I love chili oil as, like, a product on its own, and I've tried so many chili oils, dude. Nothing compares to this one. This one is, like, very unique and rare, and it's like, even Trader Joe's. I used to be obsessed with that one.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
And now when I try it compared to this, I'm like, this trash, bro. Sorry. Trader.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. I try a lot of other ones, and I don't want to be like that guy, but I'm just like, yo.
Josh Leva
Dude, this is better.
Eric Ochoa
It's pretty fire, bro.
Sebas
Have you ever realized that? Why do people support Trader Joe so much when he's just a trader?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Right. Yeah.
Sebas
Anyways, back to your chili oil. Yeah, bro, thank you so much for this.
Eric Ochoa
Wow.
Sebas
A crew neck. A crew neck for the summer.
Eric Ochoa
For the summer. I asked my guy. I was like, hey, yo, you just. Just box up some stuff or.
Sebas
Look how cool that is. Josh Lever.
Josh Leva
That's so cool. I already got the merch, man. Yeah.
Sebas
Is it still the senora making the.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, yeah, still the senora making it. It's her and her husband, so it's, like, legit. They're, like, from, like, Michoacan, I think. I think I got that right.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Which is, like, where my family's, too.
Sebas
That's badass.
Josh Leva
Where they from, bro. So.
Sebas
So that's the story.
Josh Leva
He basically.
Eric Ochoa
That's the story, bro.
Josh Leva
Is that cool? That's so bad.
Eric Ochoa
It just landed on my lap. Kind of a. Kind of a thing, you know? But I love telling that story. And he's just like. He's like, damn, Perito. I'm sorry, bro. Like, you know, so both of them are. Both of my partners are named Alberto, so.
Josh Leva
Wow. Wow. So you guys, right now is just only available online.
Eric Ochoa
So it's available online, and we just got approved in Vallarta.
Josh Leva
No way.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Yeah. So hopefully by. Thank you. Hopefully by, like, summertime. We see it in there, you know?
Sebas
No way.
Eric Ochoa
It's. It's a. It's such a process, actually, like.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
You understand? Yes. Like, stuff like that with products and stuff in stores. But yeah, man. Where?
Josh Leva
It takes a while, bro.
Sebas
She's going to need some help now.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, no, we've actually talked to, like, distributors and like, this other company that. That. Which I'll probably talk to you about it afterwards because they want to come in and like, mass produce, mass producing everything.
Josh Leva
Let me ask you, how does it feel? And I love the packaging, but I'm just curious, like, how does it feel to have your face on the packaging?
Eric Ochoa
Sometimes I'm like, it's. It's cool. And then other times I'm like, I. I don't. I don't know. It feels a little weird, to be honest.
Josh Leva
You know?
Sebas
And this one's my favorite. The downest food, which is the spicy one.
Eric Ochoa
That's the hottest one.
Sebas
But it's the downest food. The house full. And then it's the pina one.
Josh Leva
Sweet.
Sebas
Sweet. The sweet food.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, the sweet food. That one has honey.
Sebas
Honey. That's.
Eric Ochoa
That's a. That's a honey based chili oil.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
So we use a really good. Like.
Josh Leva
I love hot honey, bro.
Sebas
That's it.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Yeah. So that's. That's exactly. And it's crazy because that's like in right now. I don't know if you notice.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Honey. So you can just get the.
Sebas
Yeah. Sourdough bread. Toasted cottage cheese. Yeah, right. Fruit eggs.
Eric Ochoa
My. My homie just opened up a restaurant. Shout out to Herman and Carol from a Michi Tacos over in Tacos, bro. Shout out mei tacos if you're ever in, like, Lake Elsinore, Menifee.
Sebas
951, baby.
Eric Ochoa
Shout out to the nine, five, one. Let's go.
Sebas
951.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. So.
Sebas
That'S up. And it's not smelling or it smell. Sonor.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, yeah.
Josh Leva
Smell some s' mores.
Eric Ochoa
Smell that lake. But yeah, they got a new restaurant. It's called Ghetto Brunch. And so now they're using the chili oil on their avocado toast. So if you're out there.
Josh Leva
Oh, no way.
Eric Ochoa
Order the avocado.
Sebas
Oh, they have it there.
Josh Leva
Can I say something?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
I love avocado toast, man.
Eric Ochoa
Dude, it's so good.
Josh Leva
I love avocado.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Like what?
Sebas
I mean, yeah, but like, what don't you like? You like everything.
Eric Ochoa
You really do fat.
Sebas
So.
Josh Leva
Yeah, I like everything.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
I'm not picky, bro. Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Wait, there's something you don't like. There is something. I'm trying to remember.
Sebas
Dick. Tell me.
Josh Leva
Tell me, please. I Can use it.
Eric Ochoa
I don't know.
Josh Leva
Damn. Yeah.
Sebas
What don't you like?
Josh Leva
I'm trying to think.
Eric Ochoa
Is there something.
Sebas
Me and him, we. We. Anything, bro.
Eric Ochoa
Honestly.
Josh Leva
You know what I'll get? I get a little, like, I'm not super into it. I'll eat it if I necessarily have to. But like, insect, like, you know, people eat, like, fried.
Sebas
Yeah.
Josh Leva
It's not like we don't.
Sebas
Yeah. But like, bro, like, you shouldn't be obligated to eat insects.
Josh Leva
Right?
Sebas
Like, so, like, that doesn't really count.
Eric Ochoa
Even though they got crazy protein. Like a cricket and.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Yeah. Like, what happened?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, like eating one right now.
Josh Leva
Like, I'll eat it. Right. Like, I eat ants. I've eaten scorpion.
Sebas
Like, we went to Guanajuato. I tried crickets.
Josh Leva
I've been all of it, but it's not my thing.
Sebas
No.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
I'm the same way. I don't eat reptiles.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
I don't eat amphibians. And I don't eat insects.
Eric Ochoa
Anything.
Josh Leva
Humans.
Sebas
I do not want to eat a human. No. So would you try it?
Eric Ochoa
Would you try it? Would you try, like, if we were.
Sebas
In that movie where they.
Josh Leva
With a hamburger?
Sebas
No, like when they all. They all. The plane falls in Argentina or something like that.
Josh Leva
Oh, yeah.
Sebas
And they have to eat each other. I mean, I'll have a couple, you know, cats.
Eric Ochoa
A little bit of the house full.
Josh Leva
Can I tell you something?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
A little bit.
Josh Leva
Oh, let's go on break.
Eric Ochoa
They sound less bro.
Sebas
Imagine like if we had to eat each other, bro. First thing I'm doing.
Josh Leva
Where are you going to start?
Eric Ochoa
Oh, we already. We already know what we're gonna start with you. Cakes galore over here.
Josh Leva
Hey, that'll last you a year. You good once you hear?
Sebas
I'll eat that when he alive. We'll be right back.
Eric Ochoa
Ladies and gentlemen, great gifts for dad. We've got them and they're up to.
Josh Leva
60% off at Nordstrom Rack stores now.
Sebas
How did I not know Rack has Adidas? They've got the best gifts.
Eric Ochoa
Gotta show dad some love.
Josh Leva
Snag amazing deals on Father's Day. Gifts from Cole Hahn, Calvin Klein, Vince and more. Great brands, great prices.
Eric Ochoa
That's why you rack.
Sebas
Hi, homeboy.
Eric Ochoa
You look great, Josh.
Sebas
Homeboy.
Josh Leva
Nah, I'm pissed.
Sebas
Nah, you look great, bro.
Josh Leva
Whatever.
Sebas
I think everybody watching this podcast would agree.
Josh Leva
My shirtless photo is coming up.
Sebas
We're back. We're back. We're live.
Josh Leva
I'm going to post it.
Sebas
Happy Monday and you better like it. No, guys, we're we're talking about how, remember, like, six, eight podcasts ago, he said he's going to take a shirtless selfie. Post it. Well, it's actually that week. And no, it's not this week. Yes, it is. It was June 6th. Yeah, Matt. Matt and Jessica reminded him. And guess what? He's not ready.
Josh Leva
I need a little more time. Is that fair?
Sebas
No.
Josh Leva
Can I have a little bit of grace?
Sebas
Sure. But you didn't complete what you said you were going to complete.
Josh Leva
I was out by a couple days.
Sebas
So for that, we're gonna do the downest food. Chili Ch.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, yes. It works as a thermogenic.
Josh Leva
I was just about to burn. Thermodynamic.
Eric Ochoa
Thermodynamic. I remember what Josh, at the beginning, he was always telling me, like, dude, hot sauce. It works as a thermodynamic. The dynamic.
Josh Leva
Yeah, it helps you burn more calories. This is true. So we're gonna take just like a hand, like a spoonful.
Sebas
Yeah, we're gonna take a spoonful and you can't cough and you can't do anything.
Josh Leva
And then we talk normal.
Sebas
We. We move on.
Eric Ochoa
Are you down, bro?
Josh Leva
The downest.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, let's go.
Sebas
I'm actually excited because this shit's super tasty.
Josh Leva
How about this?
Sebas
But I am nervous because it is super hot. It is really hot.
Josh Leva
We'll do it. We'll do it like hot ones. Like, we'll eat it and then you can ask us some questions and then we'll like.
Eric Ochoa
Perfect. Yeah.
Sebas
Because you're not going to take the spoon fry, right?
Eric Ochoa
No, I can do it with you guys. Do it with us. No, no.
Josh Leva
Yeah. As you ask these questions. No, he has to. He's the owner of the.
Eric Ochoa
I'll be. Sean Evans.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Okay.
Sebas
Should we just show one so we don't have to open all of them?
Josh Leva
I wasn't gonna open mine. These are mine right here, bro.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
No, guys, what's the website again?
Eric Ochoa
Thehousefood.com.
Sebas
Thehousefood.Com. You can get the sweet food, the house food, and the OG Bounce food.
Josh Leva
The OG food is really good, too.
Sebas
Wait, there's an og.
Eric Ochoa
The OG food is made with a different chile. Yeah, it was a different chile.
Josh Leva
So there's one website.
Eric Ochoa
Three.
Sebas
Oh, that's.
Eric Ochoa
It's sweet food. Down is foo. Og Fu. Yeah. It's made with a different chile.
Sebas
Some sometimes OG Fu. You're right.
Eric Ochoa
But they like the other one a little more. Yeah, the OG.
Josh Leva
I like that one more for, like, taste specifically, but when I want that Spice I go for.
Sebas
You want that kick you want, and I'm the opposite. Isn't it funny how, like, every consumer has a different perspective on their flavor for you, baby? Because my favorite one, no matter what, is a down is full.
Eric Ochoa
There you go.
Sebas
Cuz I feel like the house, the. The OG food is really good.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
But it's. I. I rather just have this one.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, I like that one. My. Mine is going to be the sweet. I like sweet on a lot of my.
Josh Leva
What I would do is you. You sell them a bundle, right? Like you can buy.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, you can do a bundle like that. Yeah, you can buy them individually and then we have, like, some merch in there too.
Sebas
All right, so definitely check that out.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, yeah, check it out.
Sebas
Thank you.
Josh Leva
How big are your. Your spoon gonna be?
Sebas
Oh, they're gonna say, hold on. How big is your penis?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Gonna be.
Sebas
Huh?
Josh Leva
Huh?
Sebas
Gonna be.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, He's a grower, not a shower.
Sebas
No, that's Benaki. This shit's gonna be.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, how big is my.
Sebas
What? What were you gonna say?
Josh Leva
What was that? My salute. Senses were tingling.
Sebas
Do that same sound again. Do the sound on.
Josh Leva
That's my. Is that your belly?
Sebas
No, my peepee. All right. Oh, my God, guys. If you guys can actually see the consistency in this, it's actually really, really, really, really, really, really, really.
Eric Ochoa
Here's what's different as well, too. It's got cashews on the top of it. So it really does give it a very different aroma from other chili oils.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Oh, smell this real quick. Smell it. Come on.
Josh Leva
Robert hates being on camera.
Sebas
You know that shit's good. You know that shit's good when you smell it like that. How good is it? Right? Imagine when you let it off. I just want to put all over my body.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, yeah.
Josh Leva
Put all over my body.
Sebas
It's so good, bro. Like La Labo. Why don't you guys collab with the houseful and make a cologne or a perfume that, like, smells like this houseful scent.
Eric Ochoa
Let's do it. I'm down.
Sebas
All right, so I'm going to do the first one, I guess, right? But the consistency be good. I'm going to be watching you mix it around. Okay.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Do the.
Eric Ochoa
Bro.
Josh Leva
Hurry up.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
You put the spoon back in it.
Sebas
Oh, my God.
Josh Leva
What's the purpose of having multiple spoons?
Sebas
I kid you not.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
So freaking good. That's the first time I ever had an actual spoonful. Oh, the kaka. What is bro. The kaka. Wat is bro. Who named them that Name Kaka Whates. Why are they called Kakahuate?
Josh Leva
Happens, bro.
Sebas
Damn, bro. Really makes your. Your chest hurt grow, huh, buddy?
Eric Ochoa
But all right.
Josh Leva
Like this. Is that good?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. You're good with that? Oh, my God. You're crazy, bro.
Sebas
Initial taste, delicious. Fantastic, bro.
Josh Leva
Insanely good.
Eric Ochoa
Has like a. A little bit of a. Cuz it starts going down the esophagus, bro.
Josh Leva
Thank God this well, because I'm not.
Sebas
Yeah, it kind of helps, dude.
Eric Ochoa
You guys have cashews?
Sebas
Yeah. Yeah, dude. Those kakawatis.
Josh Leva
I'm good.
Sebas
I'm good too.
Josh Leva
That was actually so fun, but that was actually enjoyable.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, I feel like we just took a shot together.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
But you know what I've done too, is just make tortillas on the comal.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
When that's tortillas. And literally, like, I had some of the pieces of jamon.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
And that. Roll those up.
Eric Ochoa
Really? Damn, bro. I did a. I did an egg.
Josh Leva
Huh?
Eric Ochoa
I did an egg. I did a little bit of the chili oil and then I cracked an egg and cheese. Oh. Like a queso fresco situation. And then. Yeah, put that on like in a taco Bam.
Josh Leva
Yeah, no, it's.
Sebas
It's fantastic. Oh, the questions. Just gotta do the questions. You're not gonna. You're not gonna do another one?
Eric Ochoa
Wait, are you guys really burned it like. Like that?
Josh Leva
No, you guys are good. No, I'm good. But it is hot, though.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, it's not.
Josh Leva
It's not. Not hot because.
Sebas
Because I'm such a fan of your brand.
Josh Leva
Wow, that's impressive.
Eric Ochoa
You're gonna let him one up you, bro.
Josh Leva
Give me that. Hand it over, bro.
Eric Ochoa
Hey, give him your spoon, bro, and.
Josh Leva
I'll do it with your spoon.
Sebas
Just know that if you do.
Eric Ochoa
If you lay.
Josh Leva
Oh, we're gonna be.
Sebas
Just know that if you do it and you tie me, I will do another one. Okay, let's go until the bottle's gone.
Eric Ochoa
God.
Sebas
Oh, shit.
Josh Leva
This is so dumb.
Sebas
Oh, shit. No, that's it. That's it. All right, questions. Oh, that is so.
Eric Ochoa
That's. That's. Yeah, a second one.
Sebas
You know why I like the agawate? Because they linger between your teeth and, like, for a good 10 minutes, you're, like sucking your teeth and it's like you can still taste it. What a treat. What a treat.
Eric Ochoa
What a beautiful treat.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And it coats your throat.
Josh Leva
Are we not drinking? No, don't drink no water.
Sebas
All right.
Eric Ochoa
All right. You guys ready for some questions?
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Josh Leva, how old are you?
Josh Leva
Not 40.
Eric Ochoa
Me too. That was just a joke, guys.
Sebas
Yeah.
Josh Leva
35 years of age.
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Sebas, when was your first kiss?
Sebas
My first kiss, I think came a little late in my life. I would say like 16 years old. Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, wow.
Sebas
No, I'm wrong. 15, 14.
Josh Leva
Damn.
Sebas
Yeah.
Josh Leva
15, 14 was your first kiss?
Sebas
Is that late?
Josh Leva
Super.
Eric Ochoa
What's wrong with that? I mean. Yeah, dude.
Josh Leva
That was your first kiss?
Sebas
Yeah, bro, it was in Norwalk. It was like in Norwalk.
Eric Ochoa
Where exactly?
Sebas
Norwalk High.
Josh Leva
You were in high school?
Sebas
High school? Ninth grade. That was my first kiss. I know, that's what I'm saying. That's kind of late, right?
Josh Leva
That's super late for a kiss.
Eric Ochoa
I was like 11.
Sebas
What the were you doing in ninth grade?
Josh Leva
Huh? You want to know?
Sebas
You had sex already by 9th grade.
Josh Leva
14. Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
No way. Really?
Sebas
A 14 year old doing.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, wait, I remember you told me this.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Good, good.
Josh Leva
What?
Sebas
Good?
Eric Ochoa
I was good.
Sebas
Dude, bro, at 14 you were having sex. What is wrong with you?
Josh Leva
Yeah, I lost my virginity.
Eric Ochoa
Wow. I didn't know this information was gonna come out. By who?
Josh Leva
By who?
Sebas
By who? Well, you just made that up.
Josh Leva
Bleep that out. No, bro, I had like my first kiss when I was like in. When I was like nine.
Sebas
Really?
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Let's do it.
Sebas
First kiss, kissing a nine year old. Another nine 12 year old.
Eric Ochoa
Wow.
Sebas
Wow. No, not me, I swear. Ninth grade, bro.
Josh Leva
That was your first kiss ever.
Sebas
In like a peck. And I felt bad after too. Thought I thought I got her pregnant.
Josh Leva
Oh, how old are you.
Eric Ochoa
For real, bro?
Josh Leva
I'm lucky.
Sebas
Sweating, bro.
Josh Leva
My pores are sweating. Hey, thank you, lips.
Eric Ochoa
I got you, man.
Sebas
It's like a good one. Like, that's why I wanted the second one because you have a little bit and then you want some more. Like meth.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
How old are you in sixth grade? Sixth grade? Seventh.
Josh Leva
Sixth grade. You're like 10.
Eric Ochoa
Like 10, I think I was like 11.
Sebas
Dan. You guys were early.
Eric Ochoa
Her name was. Did you say earlier? Her name was all. We went to the movie theater. My, my, my mom had dropped us off and I remember she. We were in the elevator and she was just kind of like, hey, have you ever like scammed, you know, And I'm like, oh, isn't that using your tongue? And she was just like, yeah. I was like, oh, that sounds gross.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And she pressed like the stop button on the elevator and yeah, she just kind of like pressed me and kissed me. And I remember like, wow, bro, I.
Josh Leva
Kind of had a kind of similar situation where the first girl, I guess I was like, I want to. Was like, in six.
Eric Ochoa
Straightforward.
Josh Leva
Yeah. Yes.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. What the.
Josh Leva
So there was this girl that went to our high school, and she was kind of known for the girl that would, like, kiss. Like, she would kiss, right? And I was like, I need to get a little piece of this, right? So one day after school, I was, like, walking, and I saw her with her friend, and I just, like, called her over. I started talking with her, but I was, like, literally looking for a kiss. And then we're walking down the hall hallway, just, like, bullshitting, small, talking. She slams me against the locker room, and she just starts making out with me. What? Yeah, she starts making out with me.
Eric Ochoa
That's how we met, dude.
Josh Leva
Yes, we met. And then the next day, she started telling everybody I. I made out with Josh. The job. And I was so embarrassed. I denied it. I was, like, telling people, no, she's lying. I never kissed her. And then she came up to me, like, during lunch and was like, why are you telling people that we didn't kiss? And then I literally said, I was like, because I would never kiss you. And she smacked me across the face, as she should.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Yeah. I learned a lesson. I learned a lesson.
Eric Ochoa
And then you kissed her again.
Josh Leva
But this really happened, bro. I was, like, embarrassed. Like, I was like, I don't want people to know that, like, we kissed, you know?
Eric Ochoa
Wow.
Josh Leva
Smack me. And then, like, I remember, like, I went to, like, apologize to her, and, like, I felt really bad, wrote her letters.
Eric Ochoa
I wrote you every day for a year.
Josh Leva
Yeah. Yeah.
Sebas
You felt bad.
Josh Leva
I felt bad.
Sebas
She technically raped you.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Mouth.
Josh Leva
Yeah. But I kind of liked it.
Sebas
All right.
Eric Ochoa
Heard of your first guys?
Sebas
Yeah. No, I was ninth grade, bro.
Josh Leva
You know. You want something nice?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
Can I drink now or not? Yeah.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Good job, guys. Hey. You guys did it.
Sebas
No, I'm telling you, it's so good that.
Eric Ochoa
I want another.
Sebas
I want another. I was gonna say mouthful, but then I was gonna say pause. I don't want to do that.
Eric Ochoa
Damn. You guys did two spoons of that. You guys are crazy.
Josh Leva
Yeah, that's crazy.
Sebas
No, we're big.
Josh Leva
You know what? I'm not even worried about the chili. I'm more worried about the oil messing up my stomach. Like, just eating oil, actually.
Eric Ochoa
Are you on an empty stomach?
Sebas
You do have a sensitive stomach.
Josh Leva
No, I had eggs. I had eggs this morning.
Eric Ochoa
Okay.
Josh Leva
So I'll be fine.
Eric Ochoa
I mean, you put it on eggs, rice, you know.
Josh Leva
Yeah, that's true. And it's olive oil, right?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, it's olive oil. 100% olive oil. So I think that's what makes us different from the other chili oil out there.
Josh Leva
I mean, olive oil is, like, really good for you.
Eric Ochoa
Very good. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sebas
Guys, guess what?
Josh Leva
We have a this or that.
Sebas
We do have a this or that for you, buddy.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
Let's get it again, baby. By the way, I love your botas.
Eric Ochoa
Thank you.
Sebas
Yeah, I think they look good on you.
Eric Ochoa
You know, I wore them and I was like, I hope. Are those talks about mine? They are, yeah.
Sebas
Well, because they have the signature yellow stitches.
Eric Ochoa
Yes, well, but they don't look like.
Sebas
Your actual Doc Mars. Well, actually, the souls do.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
Wow. I haven't seen those. I might buy those for myself.
Eric Ochoa
You could buy them.
Sebas
Dude, what size are you? Can I take a guess? 11.
Eric Ochoa
These are probably 11, but I'm a 10 and a half.
Sebas
I'm a 10. It's the universal size from Big Dick.
Eric Ochoa
Energy right here, bro. I love it.
Sebas
He's size 14.
Eric Ochoa
You're free.
Josh Leva
13.
Eric Ochoa
Damn.
Josh Leva
No, I'm a 12. I'm a 12, but I can fit a 13. Just depends on the shoe.
Eric Ochoa
You weren't a size 12 when we were rooming.
Josh Leva
I've been a size 12 since I was, like, really?
Sebas
Ninth grade.
Josh Leva
Since my first kiss.
Eric Ochoa
That's why she kissed me so hard, bro. Just. Damn. Did you see this, Fe?
Sebas
Were you always, like, the biggest guy in, like, every school?
Josh Leva
No. No, bro. No. But yes.
Eric Ochoa
Yes.
Sebas
Guilty. All right, so we have a game for you. This or that?
Josh Leva
I think we did this last time, too. I think so.
Sebas
There's no way we came up with this for that.
Eric Ochoa
You did. Yeah.
Josh Leva
Something like this.
Eric Ochoa
Something. You. You gave me two options, and I had to pick between the two. Right.
Josh Leva
That's this.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Okay.
Sebas
Dang. We did do that.
Josh Leva
Yeah, exactly.
Sebas
Oh, you're right.
Eric Ochoa
Sorry.
Sebas
That Tick Tock went kind of viral.
Eric Ochoa
Did it? Let's go.
Josh Leva
All right, here we go. Here we go.
Sebas
You want to start it? You want me to start it?
Josh Leva
Go ahead. All right.
Sebas
This or that? Ready?
Eric Ochoa
I'm nervous. Or that. Sorry.
Sebas
Cholo adventures or you know, you're Mexican when it's if.
Eric Ochoa
But cholo adventures.
Sebas
Nice.
Josh Leva
Sketch comedy or vlogs?
Eric Ochoa
Sketch comedy.
Sebas
Would you rather go viral when you did or go viral now?
Josh Leva
Oh, that's a good one.
Sebas
Very good one. That's actually a really good question. Very hard.
Eric Ochoa
When I did.
Sebas
When you did.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. I think it just. It just kind of gives me an idea of, like, what that was like and viral back then was like, you can't Recreate.
Sebas
Okay.
Eric Ochoa
Like, I feel like it kind of came from, like, a little.
Josh Leva
And. And I also think, like, going viral back then is more memorable till this day. Yeah, like, things go viral now, but you forget it the next week. But people watch stuff that went viral like, 10 years ago, and then it.
Eric Ochoa
Really felt special, bro. Yeah, yeah.
Sebas
100. That is crazy.
Josh Leva
I agree.
Sebas
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Like, we can. Yeah, we can, like, name some crazy videos like, that we can all remember some viral videos. But I can tell you a viral video that went, like, 10 million views last week, and you probably don't even know it or won't remember it, and.
Sebas
Then nobody even cares anymore.
Josh Leva
Nobody cares.
Eric Ochoa
There's so many content creators now.
Josh Leva
A lot of people oversaturated.
Eric Ochoa
Very oversaturated.
Josh Leva
Tacos or tacos al pastor.
Eric Ochoa
I'm going to go asada just because of the pork. Sometimes can't be that good for you all the time. Even though the flavor on the pastor is. Is top tier. Do you like the pina? Yes. With the pina. Oh, oh, yes, of course.
Sebas
All right. Esquites or tostilocos? I'm hungry.
Eric Ochoa
Esquita.
Sebas
Okay. Traditional.
Josh Leva
I'm skipping this one just because I want to ask him because I put.
Eric Ochoa
My chili oil on it before the esquite.
Josh Leva
Okay, promo.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Okay. Promo.
Sebas
Okay. So you want me to do the next one?
Josh Leva
No, no, just go back to it, dude. Common sense. Behind the camera or in front of it?
Eric Ochoa
Oh, wow, this is tough. Can I be between? No. In front of the camera? Yeah, yeah, Always. Yeah. I mean, there's definitely been some times, like, I think later in my life, like, I'll be behind.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
I think I want to do, like, some directing.
Josh Leva
Yeah, but you're more passionate about, like, being in front of it.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, being in front of it.
Sebas
He's a star, baby.
Eric Ochoa
But as I've gotten older, like, I've also wanted to help others with their process because you ever meet somebody and just kind of like, you know what you'd be good for?
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
My movie, you know?
Josh Leva
Right.
Eric Ochoa
I need a buff guy. So I'm in Sebas, if you gotcha. I got. You got that hair, that beard, that. Those tats. Josh, if you could train him.
Sebas
All right, I respect that.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, I respect that. I didn't. I think when you're a kid, it's always.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
You know, because you put the little mantequia, you know, that struggle. Food.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah.
Sebas
So what you're saying is grow up.
Eric Ochoa
Grow up.
Sebas
Yeah, yeah.
Josh Leva
You're more on a health kick. Like all your answers kind of revolve around like, what's better for you.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
I mean daddy, now that my is stares both bad for you.
Josh Leva
Not really.
Sebas
Yeah, Mic ain't that much better.
Eric Ochoa
I would like as far as health.
Sebas
As far as like calories wise.
Josh Leva
Well, it's corn.
Eric Ochoa
And there's no like everything has corn in it.
Sebas
Everything has corn.
Josh Leva
Yeah, but there's not like butter in it.
Sebas
No. But the tortilla in general. Just the tortilla.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
They're smaller, not as big.
Josh Leva
Yeah, right. Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Okay.
Sebas
But I like Mike's better. Yeah, me too.
Josh Leva
Old school YouTube grind or tick tock trends.
Eric Ochoa
Well, it's cool YouTube guy. I feel like it just kind of, it really molded who I am today and it just kind of pushed into like getting into everything else because everything else became very short form very quick, very like almost a. To appease like an hd like, you know what I mean? Like. Yeah, adhd. Yeah.
Josh Leva
I feel like the content went more about like, what is it? Quantity over quality?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
And back then it was quality over quantity.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, 100%.
Josh Leva
So it was like one video a week. But you would put everything into it and like that was enough to like keep people engaged for the week. But now it's like people are talking and I believe it. You people are talking about like posting eight times a day, 10 times. You gotta oversaturate your feed. But because of the way the algorithm works, right. It's like you're not. Every post is going out to all of your audience.
Eric Ochoa
So I feel like you burn out faster that way too. Because what you're doing is you're telling yourself like, like right now, what's, what's the thing? It's like three second hook. That's what I'm doing right now.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
You know, like I'm like, okay, what's a three second hook? What's going to keep people. Because if not, this is your competition. That finger is just for sure, for sure. Nope, that's boring. You know, but if it comes to something that you're like, you're very passionate about, you want to create, you know, a story tell. So it's, you know, film.
Josh Leva
I do think you get burnt out, bro. But I feel like the way people are producing content is definitely less effort and less like they're just, they're just posting the post.
Eric Ochoa
What's getting the eyes.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah.
Sebas
That's how like I hella respect like you guys that you see like still do skits and stuff like that. Back then you guys used to, like, really brainstorm that. Really?
Eric Ochoa
We get so excited.
Sebas
Really go out to a park, get costumes.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Get into a character. Create a character.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Now it's like, April, you're gonna do that dance.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Right?
Eric Ochoa
Like oral. Have you seen this video? Let's do our own version of it. Like, you know what I mean? So it's kind of that world, which is cool. Which is fine.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
But, bro, back there was a motherfucking rent. Fucking places out, Fucking dress up, call the homies. Everybody who wants to do it, get onto it. Yeah, I was just telling him, I'm like, hey, bro, would you invite me to a skit? I've never been on a skit.
Eric Ochoa
He's talking about you never been a.
Josh Leva
Part of a skit?
Eric Ochoa
No, I. I didn't know that you would ever be down to do, like, skit stuff. Like, I'd 100 love to have you on.
Sebas
Yeah, just like a little something. Like a little something, bro. Yeah, you know.
Eric Ochoa
You know, put you in the little Mexican videos.
Sebas
I was telling him that the Mexican dad videos that he's doing right now.
Josh Leva
They're hilarious.
Sebas
They're my favorite, bro.
Josh Leva
They're so good.
Sebas
He nails it hard.
Eric Ochoa
Thank you, bro.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
So, like, I don't know, Mayor can be your son.
Eric Ochoa
Yes.
Sebas
Or. Or something. Sure. Is that too much of a high leading role for you?
Eric Ochoa
For me, I think you could play. Well, what do you want to play? Like, you want to play the sun? I think.
Josh Leva
No, I feel like you should play, like, his best friend. Like his feel best. Like, maybe like the neighbor or something like that.
Eric Ochoa
Let's do it right now, bro.
Sebas
See, I like that. Yeah, dude, I'll go over there. Whatever. I've never been on skin.
Eric Ochoa
You guys never shot, like, a skit like that together.
Josh Leva
Look at him.
Eric Ochoa
What does that mean?
Sebas
Well, I've never been on a skit, man. I just don't know if I would in me.
Josh Leva
Not like a. Yeah, we've done sketch stuff, bro. But maybe not like a full on, like, video.
Sebas
No, like a real skit, bro. Like, I've never been on one, man.
Eric Ochoa
So cute. He's so cute. Come on, go kiss him.
Josh Leva
Okay, cutie. Okay, cutie.
Sebas
Yeah. No, but, dude, it would be an honor for me to be in a Super Eagle skit.
Eric Ochoa
Let's do it, man.
Sebas
Put that motherfucker on my resume.
Josh Leva
Hell, yeah, it's all mine.
Eric Ochoa
You know, like on IMDb. Like, if you Google yourself.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Which is crazy to do, but you google yourself. Like, they've thrown in, like, choler Ventures. Yeah. I didn't even know, like, until I saw it. I was like, what? You did this?
Sebas
It'd be an honor for me.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Let's do it. Let's make it happen.
Sebas
Please.
Eric Ochoa
Come on over. Okay. Don't walk. Run.
Sebas
But then my turn or your turn? Mine, right?
Josh Leva
I think that's it, bro.
Sebas
Now, there's one more, isn't there?
Eric Ochoa
He's writing one right now.
Sebas
Yeah. Making people laugh or making people think.
Josh Leva
Ooh.

Laugh. Yeah, it's always gonna be laugh, because I think people think too much already. Yeah, I know I think too much, and sometimes I need an escape from it, you know? So that laugh.
Josh Leva
Yeah. What's your favorite kind of, like, content to consume now?
Eric Ochoa
Oh, bro, this is so random, but, like, I feel like I got really late into it, but I'm starting to watch anime a lot more.
Josh Leva
No way.
Eric Ochoa
Very, very much so. Like, I. It started with Naruto. Like, shippuden. How do you say Naruto?
Josh Leva
Naruto.
Eric Ochoa
Naruto.
Sebas
What the.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, that's like that Japanese sound. But look, dude acted so much. And it happened during, like, Vanessa's pregnancy. Like, we didn't have anything to watch. We kept watching the office over and over and over, and we were like, all right, let's try this. So amazing show. My favorite. And, yeah, bro, like, the stories, the backstories to, like, the bad guys, you know, like, just, like, the friendships, and you just like, yo, this is, like, beautiful. And so I started getting more into It. And, like, I just finished, like, solo leveling the other day, and I was like, dude, this is so sick. How about you guys? What do you guys watch? What do you consume?
Sebas
Besides, I ain't gonna lie, I consume a lot of tv, bro. Yeah. Lately, especially because, like, I try not to, like, go out that much anymore. I try not to, like, do like that. So, like, I've kind of, like, shut down my social media mind like, around 6 or 7, and I just. I just really enjoy watching TV, man.
Eric Ochoa
What's your favorite right. Right now? Like, what do you think is something like. That's slept on?
Sebas
Oh, I was sleeping on this. Curb your enthusiasm.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, bro.
Josh Leva
Yes.
Eric Ochoa
Larry David's so good.
Sebas
Yeah, it's so good.
Eric Ochoa
That's why JB Smooth.
Sebas
Yeah. Been on for years and years and years. That's what I'm saying. I slept on that recently. Just started watching all the Star Wars. I'm really big fan now of that. And I am a fan, but, like, not crazy. I think the first three actual ep, the three episodes you should watch from start are, like, the best.
Eric Ochoa
I like that.
Sebas
I watch a lot of Apple tv. There's, like, a lot of good shows. I think it's called your Friends, My Friend's Neighbors, or your Friends Neighbors.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Such a good show. But, yeah, I just tend to watch.
Josh Leva
Bro, this is. This is so weird. Like, for myself, like, I realized that the content that I enjoy consuming, like, whether it be, like, TV or shows or movies and stuff, is stuff that I can see myself in or stuff that I can see myself writing always.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Yeah. That's the stuff that I just really gravitate towards. Like, there's a show that just came out on prime, it's called Overcompensating, and it was written by this guy, his name is Benny Chavez, I want to say. And he kind of based it around his life. And it's very, like, almost like American Pie meets, like, super Bad. Like, it's just kind of like that vibe. And I just, like. I just loved it because I was like, man, I could either see myself playing this or writing something like this. So that's, like, what I feel like I gravitate to, like, the most. But, like, action movies and stuff, I'm not really, like, super into it.
Eric Ochoa
Really.
Josh Leva
Yeah, not really.
Eric Ochoa
I think it's crazy because, like, right now, action movies is the only thing that's, like, selling, like.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
In anything. You know, you look at all like the superhero remakes and.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
A bunch of. But yeah. Yeah. Whenever you take your Time with like a TV show like that. Like that's, that's something special for sure.
Josh Leva
I also consume a lot of tick tock. Like I'm just always on tick tock.
Eric Ochoa
Same.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah. Like my girl put something on, it's like good. But I'll just start like scrolling. I feel like I'm more entertained by.
Eric Ochoa
What's your latest like, like subject obsession on tick tock. Like, because you know how sometimes your feet throws, like for sure.
Josh Leva
I was just talking about this ghetto prom. Like these like kids who go to like prom and they're dressed out in like all like designer and they bring out like a hundred thousand dollars in cash just to flex on the camera. Stuff like that.
Eric Ochoa
That's pretty cool. Yeah, that's funny. I like golf. A lot of golf stuff is coming out. Yeah, it just started happening. Like I started playing a little more golf here. Yeah, I played with Oscar a little bit. We haven't. We haven't golfed yet. We go.
Josh Leva
No, we should go golf. Let's go golf. Yeah, Yeah, I want to golf. Let's do it.
Eric Ochoa
Some of that and then just food stuff like always food. Yeah, yeah, a bunch of foodie stuff. So.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
How about you? What is your guilty pleasure thing? Besides nalgas Nachos.
Sebas
I feel like my shit's always like conspiracy theories and like, like did you know about the, the pyramids of Giza type?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
Or like about space and you can.
Eric Ochoa
Go in a crazy ass tunnel with that, bro.
Sebas
I like, I like listening to that type of some planet Earth type vibes, you know what I mean? I love Earth and space and like that.
Eric Ochoa
Have you ever been to space?
Sebas
No, but one day, hopefully.
Eric Ochoa
You want to go?
Sebas
You have tickets?
Eric Ochoa
I gotta connect.
Sebas
Let's go.
Eric Ochoa
My homie Musk.
Sebas
Hey, bro, remember how like Katy Perry and like the rest of those celebrity chicks went up there?
Josh Leva
Yeah, they got like, they got roast, bro.
Eric Ochoa
Well, yeah, did you see that they.
Sebas
Opened the door when they first landed and supposedly you can't do that because of the pressure or something like that. And then what's his name, the rich guy? Amazon dude, Bezos was there and then he had to like close it on them. There's like a video on that. Yeah, but it was weird because it made it look like the whole thing was fake, but you know what I mean? Like. Yeah, it was like weird.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, I've been through some of the, like, have we landed on the moon?
Sebas
Yeah, yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Buzz Aldrin. Is this, is this real? They try to offer him money, like to Talk on some. Like, hey, I'll give you $5,000 if you say that you actually were like, on the moon and he's just like. Like, he avoids it. He gets really upset and they. It's. It's such a weird thing.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
To get into that.
Sebas
It's crazy how like, we won't ever really know.
Eric Ochoa
We won't. No.
Sebas
Unless you're like, in that.
Josh Leva
Unless just like, breaks out and then like a bunch of Just gets revealed. You know what I mean? Like, if aliens come visit us and then like, the government starts freaking out and then all this stuff gets really. I don't know, it could be crazy. It's either never going to get released or it's all going to release at once and it's going to be chaotic.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. I say we just go to the moon and see if, like, we see the actual flag there and see like, the footprints and be like, oh, okay. Yes, yes, yes. Yeah, take a picture, come back.
Josh Leva
How much do you care?
Eric Ochoa
Also? How much do you care? Like, I kind of care.
Josh Leva
Zero.
Sebas
I kind of care.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
I think there's a part of me that's just kind of like, wants to get in, like. Yeah, you know what? What the fuck? Like, fuck that. For them to lie to us. It. And then it's a part, like.
Sebas
Yeah. It's not even that I care that. That some dudes went on the moon. Like, what's his name?
Eric Ochoa
Armstrong. Yeah. Buzz.
Sebas
Not Lance. Cyclist, something.
Eric Ochoa
Neil Armstrong.
Sebas
Neil Armstrong.
Josh Leva
Shout out to homie Neil.
Sebas
Like, I don't really care that he went on the moon. Like, that's cool if he did. I just want to know if humanity was capable of doing it. Did you rain? Like, did we do it or not? Are we cool like that?
Eric Ochoa
Well, then back then it was like a race, right? Like, and like countries.
Sebas
A lot of people were like, why don't we just like, casually go anymore?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, because we haven't been.
Josh Leva
But then they'll say, like excuses like, there's no need.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
And it's like, what do you mean there's no need?
Sebas
Why not? We went once. Why don't we just keep going?
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Then you get into, like, the flat Earthers and is it round? And that there's never actually been an actual picture of Earth. And I'm like, yeah, I'm finding this stuff. And I'm like, wait, what?
Josh Leva
That is kind of crazy that it's. They just put a bunch of images together to, like, create Earth. Like an image of Earth.
Eric Ochoa
Like, there's not a real photo of actual Earth?
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Like everything has just been kind of like drawn up or like graphed up. Like, I'm just.
Sebas
What? Yeah, no, Earth. Earth is round, first of all.
Josh Leva
100, right?
Sebas
Yeah, of course. No, it's the shape of a diamond.
Eric Ochoa
I don't know.
Josh Leva
Yeah, I don't know how you know. How you know.
Eric Ochoa
How do you know? Have you been to Earth?
Sebas
No, but I've been high in the sky.
Eric Ochoa
Have you been to the outside of Earth?
Josh Leva
You've been there, you seen it?
Eric Ochoa
Yes.
Sebas
Because don't you think if Earth was flat, we'd see from point A to point B all the way without obviously, like, things in our way?
Eric Ochoa
I don't know.
Sebas
But there's a horizon. The horizon is round.
Eric Ochoa
I believe it's round. But like, I've heard about like, things like. Because I've. I dove another one where it's like people going way down into the ocean and like how they've touched stuff. Like, it looks like something bounces back.
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And like those people try to come back out and like, they, they're just. They're missing all of a sudden because they try to explain something.
Josh Leva
Wait, what?
Eric Ochoa
Like, somebody has gotten to like, some part of the ocean somewhere around the world, and they've said that they felt some sort of like, gooey part, like in the center. Dude, I honestly, like, I'm so like an idiot, like, explaining this, but like, I remember seeing it. I'm like, what? But like this guy, like, he's like a submarine dude. And like he went very, very low one time and he was talking about how like the surface on the. The core almost like.
Josh Leva
Guys, it's squishy.
Eric Ochoa
Guys, I have a video coming up tomorrow.
Sebas
I'm like, one thing that I really, really want to know and that my tick tock and even my reels are consumed of it. And I love it is when they talk about Antarctica and how there's a city beyond that, that, that wall of ice.
Josh Leva
Then you don't believe the Earth is flat because there's. I'm sorry, that it's round. Because that's what they're saying, that it's flat. So you can go on.
Sebas
No, no, they're just saying that there's.
Eric Ochoa
A. Oh, a city.
Sebas
Just like a whole city.
Eric Ochoa
Secret city.
Sebas
A secret city in Antarctica. Behind that glass. Not glass, the. The wall of ice that. That's supposedly thousands of miles long. That there's an actual city. And there was a video which probably especially now with like AI Everything's so fake.
Josh Leva
It's Crazy.
Sebas
But you. Somebody supposedly flew over there. I'm sure it's fake, but it looks so cool. And there's a fat city back there, like a. A New York. And it's just supposedly all the higher.
Eric Ochoa
Power people, all the. The billionaires, like, if they have, like.
Sebas
All the billionaires, why they want to live somewhere so cold?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, because it's cool.
Sebas
Erica. Ladies and gentlemen, God, your presence.
Eric Ochoa
Sorry. So sorry.
Sebas
But, yeah, that's what my tick tock is.
Eric Ochoa
You get. You get into some crazy.
Josh Leva
No, it's not. Dude, give me the four scrolls. I bet you I won't see none of that. It's gonna be. Let me see. Go ahead. Okay.
Sebas
First, Dodger, having this Danny boy clothing for.
Josh Leva
Express.
Eric Ochoa
Okay.
Josh Leva
Tequila. No more man boobs.
Eric Ochoa
Here we come.
Josh Leva
Titties.
Eric Ochoa
What? None of your. None of your.
Sebas
You're over.
Josh Leva
You trying to be all deep? I like to know about the Earth, Josh.
Sebas
Lea. First of all. Okay, everybody, back at home, I have two tik toks. One is my own, and then the other one is La Platica. He goes on La platica all the time. And you. Yeah, you do.
Eric Ochoa
You.
Sebas
You saturate my content with people who have big boobs.
Eric Ochoa
Yes.
Josh Leva
First of all, I never use that La Platica account because it's trash. So that's your account? No, I use my personal account that I scroll on that. It's, like, beautifully curated to my liking.
Eric Ochoa
Wow.
Sebas
You know what? It's really hard for me to talk back to you right now, Josh. Leo. Because you just got me a Rolex. Oh, sure.
Eric Ochoa
It's a beautiful Rolex. Really nice.
Sebas
Okay, so. Yeah.
Josh Leva
Yeah. All right. Fair.
Sebas
But yes.
Eric Ochoa
My birthday's coming up.
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Jesus Christ.
Josh Leva
I know your birthday. Yeah, I do.
Eric Ochoa
I know your birthday.
Josh Leva
Yeah. January 27, 1998.
Eric Ochoa
Yes. Thank you very much. December 27, 2008. Yes.
Josh Leva
Hell yeah, bro. Are you ready to enter, like, your 40 chapter? Like, chapter 40?
Eric Ochoa
Dude, I'm gonna be 30. That's crazy. But, yeah, my 30s are going to be crazy. It's going to be intense. Thinking about it. I don't know. Like, it's just like. Oh, my God. You remember, like, when you were young and you hear someone was, like, turning 40?
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Even like my cousins do when they were turning 30. I remember, like, what the fuck?
Josh Leva
Yeah. How was your 30? If you could. If you could describe your 30s in, like, a few sentences, how would you describe it?
Eric Ochoa
Drunk as fuck.
Josh Leva
You were lit?
Eric Ochoa
I was always lit, but it was such a, like, good year of, like, just learning the YouTube dating, you know, I wasn't like, a lot of, like, relationships as well that I posted online, so that was. That was a very interesting time for me. You.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah. You were in a lot of, like, public.
Eric Ochoa
But actually that's. That's more of my, like, 20s.
Josh Leva
Yeah. But was there a lot of, like, repercussions having, like, posting, like, relationships and then like, you date somebody new and like, what was. What was that?
Eric Ochoa
Oh, my God. Yeah, but it was. It was such a thing. That was just like, you know, you. You put your girl in the videos and people. Because it was like, vlogging was really big back then as well.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And so people were just invested. People were very much, oh, my God, what'd you guys do today? We went on Osprey. We went to six. You know, we went in this fancy restaurant and you just kind of get all of it. But I just got to a point too where I was just like, oh, man, I wanna. I wanna stop pointing my. Just put it down.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
What was your question, though?
Josh Leva
Like, it was just like, the repercussions of, like, having a public relationship. And with all due respect, like, multiple.
Eric Ochoa
So. The repercussions. Yeah, Horny. The repercussions were definitely if it didn't work out, then all of a sudden it's like, you're going to break up with everybody and they're just like, what? No, like, I saw you too.
Josh Leva
Like, yeah, for sure.
Eric Ochoa
You know, having kids or, you know, and so it, like, that just becomes awkward.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And so you're kind of just stuck in this, like, weird place where when you decide to date again, like, they're just kind of like, well, who's that? She's not as pretty.
Josh Leva
Right?
Eric Ochoa
She's not. She's not better than.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
So it's. It was weird. That's actually a good question. Like, a very good question.
Josh Leva
Yeah. And then they, they. Because the Internet sucks and people are, like, mean, but I guess it comes with a territory, then they become a subject of comparison. Right.
Eric Ochoa
And they didn't ask for that.
Josh Leva
And they didn't ask.
Eric Ochoa
I feel really bad.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah, like, dating. Dating somebody like you who is, like, open, like, you are public with, like, your life and essentially relationships. Sometimes, like, it kind of comes with dating you.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. If I was to go to the past, dude, like, I would change that. I would. I would have kept all of my. My dating stuff, like, very private.
Josh Leva
You know what, bro? I agree with you, but at the same time, because I've done it before. Too. I had relationships that were public and I feel like now.
Eric Ochoa
Flat.
Josh Leva
Yeah. Dirty little slut. Now I'm so. I treasure my relationship, bro. And like the privacy of it. And I just, I just, I don't know, I just. It's like more sacred, you know, like, we're not. Obviously people know, like, I'm in a relationship and stuff like that, but I'm not like out there like, making all my content revolving around and stuff like that. It's like, that is my like, safe space, my home, my. My piece, you know?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, absolutely.
Josh Leva
Yeah. So. But. But I think I. My point was I've learned to appreciate that and admire that and want that because of the public relationships that I was in and seeing what the repercussions that came from that.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
You know what I mean?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, no, I mean, it's. It's something very difficult to do. And especially whenever it was like, oh, you know, you're dating someone else now, blah, blah, like people would be in the, in the comments like that. They're just gonna be like, well, dude, you're the one that put it up online.
Josh Leva
Right? Right.
Eric Ochoa
Like this is on you.
Josh Leva
Which is true.
Eric Ochoa
And it is, it's true, but it's just like, God damn. Like, you didn't, you didn't think about that.
Josh Leva
Right?
Eric Ochoa
Like, everybody is, is literally going with you in your relationship and sometimes things. Things aren't perfect.
Josh Leva
Yeah. Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
You know, and what's crazy is actually I not, not to plug in this, but like, I just started a podcast.
Josh Leva
I was gonna ask you about that.
Eric Ochoa
I just started it and my first guest is like Mike Scoffin.
Josh Leva
And she's a girlfriend that you were dating when I met you.
Eric Ochoa
Yes, that's right. Yeah, we shot a movie together. High school sex musical. Yeah. Never came out. But yeah, it was, it was crazy. We.
Josh Leva
It's really good.
Eric Ochoa
It's actually like a whole ass music. You can find some clips on like YouTube. But yeah, like, that was actually a really good conversation to kind of just connect with somebody. We didn't really get into that topic. I think that would have been a good one.
Josh Leva
But I'm a podcaster.
Eric Ochoa
On a podcast.
Josh Leva
Yeah, no, I'm a podcaster.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, you're a podcaster? Yeah. You should have been there.
Josh Leva
Yeah, I should have.
Eric Ochoa
Should have been there mediating. She's like, hey, this shit's stupid.
Sebas
Congrats on starting the podcast.
Eric Ochoa
Thank you, man.
Sebas
What's the name of the party?
Eric Ochoa
I don't know yet.
Josh Leva
Oh, wait.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, I started. I started kind of just Collecting.
Sebas
Oh, good.
Eric Ochoa
I've started stockpiling on a few episodes. Yeah, my first initial thought was just kind of like, Nobody's Perfect podcast.
Josh Leva
Love that.
Eric Ochoa
Or why is that? Because Nobody's Perfect.
Josh Leva
Exactly.
Eric Ochoa
And I just kind of wanted to get into the details about people and, you know, situations and how they learn from them.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
You know, but then I was like, no, that's stupid. So I wanted to change it up and I'm thinking of a couple of the names, which. I'll talk to you guys.
Josh Leva
Yeah, I don't want to say that, but I was just.
Eric Ochoa
Stupid name. You could do way better than that, dude.
Sebas
Yeah, you can. Yeah, but. So it doesn't have an Instagram or anything and you're doing it by yourself?
Eric Ochoa
No, and I'm doing it by myself.
Sebas
Oh, wow.
Josh Leva
So, dude, you. You asked Gabby. Shout out Gabby, right? She was your first guest. You're obviously married with kids now.
Eric Ochoa
Yes.
Josh Leva
What was that conversation like with your wife saying like, hey, I want to start a podcast and I want my first guest to be a girl that I was public with. And I. A lot of people know me by this relationship that I once.
Eric Ochoa
You have to tune in to episode two because my wife will be in episode two. We've had a conversation because we actually shot a skit, like, together, and she was like, in my house and shit, you know, so it was like. It was like, oh, I hope this isn't awkward. But it was really cool. Like. Yeah, Vanessa, like, loves her actually. She's just like. When you broke up with her, like, I remember watching you guys online. Wow. Yeah, she was just kind of like, I was crazy.
Sebas
That's really cool.
Eric Ochoa
That's really some grown shit, man. Yeah, we mature in here because.
Josh Leva
What did you guys talk about?
Eric Ochoa
Cuz she could. Why we broke up. White? No, no. Kind of just like on some acting. Like, because we met when she auditioned for.
Josh Leva
I thought y' all. I thought y' all went deep.
Eric Ochoa
I mean, we talked about crazy.
Josh Leva
You gotta watch it. All right.
Eric Ochoa
Damn, bro. No, no, we. We got into some, like. Some pretty deep stuff. Like about. About things in our life currently and then things that have happened in the past.
Josh Leva
Interesting.
Eric Ochoa
So check it out. Check it out. Subscribe to the no Name podcast.
Sebas
That's pretty good name.
Josh Leva
Yeah, no Name.
Eric Ochoa
I'm pretty sure it's out there.
Sebas
Yeah, it probably is. You. I feel like you. You. You play so many characters, you do so many types of skits. What's your like, favorite type of skit to. To do? Like the one that you're always super pumped to do maybe, like, a fairy character that you always want to. That you never mind playing.
Eric Ochoa
I have this impression of Josh. Favorite character. That's a good question. I enjoyed doing this one character called Sleepy Bitch for a while. Yeah, she was fun, but then I was just like, all right, I gotta get over this. Like, it was too much. A little too. Too ratchet.
Josh Leva
Damn, bro.
Eric Ochoa
She was fun because I felt like I could say anything with that character.
Sebas
Besides you knowing Josh and him being on a lot of skits with you, who's your favorite, like, content creator to work with besides Josh?
Eric Ochoa
Besides Josh. First of all, Josh was great. Josh was one of my favorite, like, people to shoot content with. He had a really good energy to him, and he questioned everything. You know, you were really good at, like, asking questions.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
You should do podcasting, dude.
Josh Leva
I'll do it.
Sebas
You instead of us.
Eric Ochoa
But besides, like, probably, like, my boy, like, Tim, shout out to my boy.
Josh Leva
Yeah, Tim. We had him on the pod.
Sebas
Yeah, he rapped.
Josh Leva
He's in our intro.
Eric Ochoa
Did he?
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
That's cool. Yeah, he's good at it. Peter.
Sebas
Tim. Okay.
Eric Ochoa
Peter. Petey Flow. And recently, kind of like these. These two young guys that I've actually been working with.
Josh Leva
Oh, my God. Kickback crew.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. So shout outs to them. Angel Efren and. Yeah, they're just. They're like a part of the, like, the new young wave right now of, like, content creating.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And they kind of. They think in, like, that quick format, bro, they have. So, like, I love that. I've met them and we've just started shooting content, and they're very quick to it. They're just kind of like, oh, why don't you just do this? Like, they simplify everything. And I think me being a YouTuber, like, I still kind of get into that. Like, oh, what if we did this and then we did that and an explosion. They're like, now, let's just. Let's just shoot it. Like, let's do it now.
Josh Leva
Yeah. I called you, and I remember when you started doing those style of videos, and it was like, the way it was shot, it was like. It was like a pov, obviously, right? Like, a wide establishing shot where you see both characters, and then it would be like a POV of the character that's in the sketch. And, like, the pacing of it, the structure of it. I was like, oh, this is so cool. And it just felt so, like, new. Like, I hadn't seen that. I was super fascinated by that.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Is that was that them kind of like.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, yeah, they, they, they're really good at that too. Just kind of like even like the, the person shooting will talk to.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Eric Ochoa
So it kind of just works. And with the dad character. Yeah, you know, the Mexican dad character, it's just, it's been a lot of fun and we just kind of take it to where the fuck it goes.
Sebas
Yeah, yeah. In like 15, 20, 30 years from now, you know, you ask somebody about super ego, what's something that you want them to say about you and your legacy that you're gonna leave out in the world?
Eric Ochoa
Great question. So like, like what?
Sebas
Like kind of Jessica's question. But what, what, what? I'm not gonna take your question. But yeah, that's a really good question.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, but like a good question.
Sebas
But yeah, it's a great question. Like, what do you want people to say about you? Like, yeah, you're funny, handsome, big old Chile.
Eric Ochoa
Damn.
Josh Leva
The biggest, the downest.
Sebas
The downest. But like, what is it that really tickle your pickle that people want to say about you?
Eric Ochoa
So many things I think people just kind of walk away with. Like, he's someone that just really cared. I like to take my time whenever I, I, I meet a lot of people or I express things or like show them things. I, I love to see other people succeed. And so even if it's not shown in my work, I just collaborating with me, like, I love to work with people. I like to see the best in others and help them like elevate themselves. But if, if you see it in my content, if you see like laughter, I think in the future I definitely want to get into like more dramatic stuff or like family, but maybe someone that just kind of has very family oriented content is, is one thing that I want to get into next. There's something else I want to say, but I don't want like other people to steal that. You know what I mean? So I'll tell you guys off off camera, but like just, yeah, just, just a dude with a good heart. And you know, I think people, yeah.
Sebas
People are for sure think. I mean, every time I talk to Josh, he, no matter what, he always gives his whole, sometimes your whole career to, to Eric.
Josh Leva
Absolutely.
Sebas
You know, if it wouldn't be for you, you know, who knows?
Eric Ochoa
I will take some stock and salute soon and podcast.
Sebas
Josh could have been working at chippendales right now.
Josh Leva
100%. Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Still killing it. Still killing it.
Sebas
Killing it though. Killing it.
Eric Ochoa
No, I'm so, I'm so proud of You, Josh, though, like, you, you, You. You really lit like a fire under my ass whenever we were, like, living together. And so I think there was one point where I almost quit YouTube, you know, I was kind of like, where's this going? Like, I don't know what I'm doing. You know, I'm go back to bartending.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And Josh was just so excited I said this for in the first one, but it's like, Josh was just kind of like, bro, what if we did this? And, like, your energy, dude, I was just like, Like, I don't know what this is, man, but this contagious. I need to be around him.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
You know, and every single time, you know, with his luscious hair, he's like, boobs. Like, oh, my God. Like, you have no idea, dude. Like, I love your content so much. I grew up watching you ball, and I'm like. I'm like, bro, I. I'm trying to be like you, my boy, you know? So it was. It was a really good back and forth, and so proud of you.
Josh Leva
Well, dude, proud of you too.
Eric Ochoa
Save us. You know, this podcast.
Sebas
Well, we have somebody that lights our ass on fire.
Eric Ochoa
There you go.
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Over here, bro.
Josh Leva
I.
Eric Ochoa
You.
Josh Leva
I. You guys both have incredible things in my life, and when you gave me the opportunity to, like, learn from you, you were so, like, willing and caring. You like everything you were saying, like, I got to experience that. That. That love, that passion that. The give back that you are willing to give back. And not everybody's like that, bro. You know, and you taught me so much, and I do. I'm not gonna be. I'm gonna be real with you till the day I die. I'm gonna give you all, like, the flowers that you deserve, you know? Because if it wasn't for you, bro, like, the heart and passion that you put into me and caring and willing to teach me, I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be sitting across from this man. And he gave me the same kind of opportunity. I felt like. And I've said this before, dude, either.
Eric Ochoa
Way, Josh, I feel like you would have gotten there. I don't. I can't expect. Like, you would have gotten there, dude. Like, you were such a determined ass, dude.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Like, first of all, your physique back. Like, dude, you were just like, yeah. You know, someone's like, oh, man. Like, you really set your mind to a bunch of shit, dude. So.
Josh Leva
But that doesn't matter, because this is the reality. I live, and I'm grateful for it. And I will cherish that. That. So whether I would have got there or not, it's besides the point. My thank you and gratitude goes to you.
Eric Ochoa
That's good now, dude.
Josh Leva
No, but really though. But I appreciate that. And yeah, and Sebas gave me the whole. The same kind of experience, bro. I'm gonna be real with you. And I think I've, I've mentioned this before. We, I. We started. I think you brought me on like 2010, dude, for like in 2009, 2010. I just like, studied you. I just was. I asked questions, I followed you and I learned. And then I did it for like 10 years. And I honestly felt like I kind of like, plateaued. Like I had a wall. I didn't know what the hell I was gonna do with my life. And luckily I was still, like, I built the brand enough that like, I was still getting work. And then, and then I got the phone call from Sevas that literally was like, yo, I want you to be a part of this podcast. And I little did I know how much it was gonna like, change my life. So it's just so cool that, like, I'm sitting with two people here who have been monumental in. In my life and I'm super appreciative and grateful for.
Sebas
Both of you guys should suck our pee pee.
Eric Ochoa
That's three way kiss. Three way kiss right here.
Sebas
You know, you should touch both of us right now.
Josh Leva
I will.
Sebas
I think you owe us.
Josh Leva
What size wrist are you.
Eric Ochoa
I mean, imagine if we really.
Sebas
Three way kiss right now. And then, and then Jess and Matt had to be like, all right, guys, that's enough.
Josh Leva
Guys.
Sebas
Yo, cut it off, Cut it off. No.
Eric Ochoa
Be weird.
Josh Leva
Guys, guys, we gotta go on break.
Sebas
Guys. Hey, dude, imagine.
Josh Leva
Yeah, I don't want to.
Eric Ochoa
So much for you doing like the podcast. Like, was it. Is there anything like that you're. You started. I. I saw one of your very beginning ones, dude, and you were like. You had this like, sample right here with you. And you were like, okay, test one, two and two. And I was like, oh, damn. Wow. How did I find this gem? You know, this old gem right here? Like, did you know it was going to get to this? Never, because this is, this is amazing. Like, you guys are killing it, man Studios, you know.
Sebas
Thank you, thank you. Yeah, it's, it's, it's super. Been a blessing. It's been, it's been a journey for sure. It really has. Consistency, I think, is what is key in our.
Eric Ochoa
Has it always been Mondays?
Josh Leva
Always?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
Yeah.
Josh Leva
I mean, when we first started, we would aim for Mondays, but it would be days. We had to post, like, Tuesday, Wednesday. But we always aim for Mondays.
Sebas
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
But it's already been, like, years already on Mondays. No, never did I ever think that it was going to be like this. Never. Not even when I honestly wanted Josh to be a part of it. Just to start my cons, our consistency. And honestly, just because I love Josh and I just wanted to hang out and just be a part of his life and he'd be a part of my life, which. That's what happened. But no, never, never did. I think I was gonna have a lovely Jessica and a lovely Benneke.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
You know, another studio. And I never thought that, you know, that was never the plan or to, like, have a show that. A live show that sold out almost 700 people in four.
Eric Ochoa
Amazing. Congratulations, guys.
Sebas
You know, never, never, never, never. But I think that's the beauty of it, is that I didn't. I didn't. I didn't care to do that. I just wanted to have fun.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
And I just wanted to organically have a podcast with somebody, and then if it happens, it happens. I never really reach for the. I mean, I did reach for the stars. Like, you know, I want to have a really successful podcast, but I think it's best to just do what we love and wherever it goes, wherever it'll go.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
You know, and. But, like, I can think him. I can think everybody, but I got to think the people back at home, they're the ones that really.
Josh Leva
Shut up. You didn't think me.
Eric Ochoa
They said, thank me.
Sebas
They're the ones that. That, you know, have created this. This. This. This culture. You know, I'm just. We show up for them. Honestly, we show up for them. We show up because people care. And. Yeah, because if there was not really much support, I mean, why, you know, be so consistent, you know, 100.
Eric Ochoa
I mean, 20, 30 years from now, what do you want to be remembered as, Sebastian?
Sebas
Just almost some similar Southern Te. Like, just. I just want to be remembered as, like, somebody who made people laugh, somebody who would inspire people to, I don't know, start a podcast. And I just want to be remembered as, like, a good husband and friend.
Eric Ochoa
There you go. Josh Leva, Same question.
Josh Leva
That's a great question, man. 30 years from now.
Eric Ochoa
30 years from now. Wow. So you'll be like.
Josh Leva
So I'll be 30, 32, 65.
Sebas
65.
Josh Leva
Damn. That's crazy. Crazy.
Sebas
If we were. If we're lucky to make it. Yeah.
Josh Leva
I would Just say somebody who just like loved unconditionally and was just present and honest, vulnerable and kind, respectful.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Well, you got a lot of work to know. Yeah, dude, that's, that's, that's great. But dude, you remember like you, you talking about acting and stuff like that. Did you ever want to get back?
Josh Leva
I do, I do. I think right now I'm to trying so grateful where I'm at right now, bro. And I just don't want to mess it up. I'm like, I got something so cool what I have going on in my life. Yeah. But like, just with the podcast, I just love it where I'm at this pocket. But I have not lost that love for acting, bro. And I think that like, you know.
Eric Ochoa
You'Re good at it.
Josh Leva
Yeah. If, if like Salud ever got like acquired and I just got like paid out.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
I think I devote myself into acting. I think I'd do it. I'd get like a full time acting coach and I'll just try to like get in, maybe even write my own stuff, fund my own stuff, you know. I think that'd be really cool. Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Hell yeah, man.
Josh Leva
Yeah. I haven't lost that like love for.
Eric Ochoa
It yet, that passion, that love.
Josh Leva
But I did lose a little bit of it. Like, it's a muscle, bro. Like, you gotta practice it. So I'm not like this person. Like, oh, I'm like a natural. I'll be able to like hop in. Like, I know I'd have to like study and practice and do the classes and stuff like that. You know, some people you got it, bro. Like you automatically got it. But you also did like a lot of theater in high school and stuff like that too, right?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. You got a lot of reps, Theater, improv. Yeah, whatnot. But yeah, that's. That, that was always the fun, the funnest thing to do and then.
Josh Leva
But bro, you know what I actually enjoy more than acting is directing. Like, I love directing, bro.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
I love being behind the camera.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
It's. It's kind of fun to direct a project. Yeah. You know, to kind of like see the best in others. I'm sure you're great at it too.
Josh Leva
Like.
Sebas
Yeah, yeah.
Josh Leva
But bro, because like, honestly, I noticed like when I'm in front of the camera, I'm too hyper critical on myself and then I become a little like, I don't know, I'm like, I. I'm really hard on myself.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
And I don't like that.
Eric Ochoa
Another thing about us too, like, we were Always talking about, like, our skin because we had, like. Yeah, for me, I was always like, Yeah, I had, like, acne scars.
Josh Leva
Yes, bro. Yeah. So I'm hypercritical myself, and I don't like the way I feel, even though I can't even focus on the art and what I'm creating because I'm so critical and analytical and how I look and all that. And I think when I'm behind the camera, I know how to see the beauty in people. And I just. And I don't know, I just feel like I can. I know what it's like to be that. Have that insecurity. So I know how to encourage people. And I just. I don't know. That's why I feel like I find really, like, passion and directing where I can.
Eric Ochoa
There's no pressure on. On, and there's no pressure on me as kind of like. Yeah, you're up. Do it again. You know, like, it's kind of helping other people, like, pull out their own thing.
Josh Leva
Exactly, exactly.
Eric Ochoa
You need to get to the point where you. You could do it for yourself.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Wow.
Sebas
Now that I said about that skin, your skin has been getting a lot better.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Now that I see you, like.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
It almost looks like you actually have that. The.
Josh Leva
The beauty filter.
Sebas
The. The smoother. Plug in right now. Face smoother.
Josh Leva
I might.
Sebas
No further. You tell me that you've been going to skincare.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We've done everything.
Sebas
Have you guys done that vampire?
Josh Leva
Yes. Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Is it the burn one?
Sebas
It's the one that we're all bloody after.
Josh Leva
When they pull your blood out and then they put it into you. Yeah.
Sebas
You've done it earlier.
Eric Ochoa
Not like. Well, they did it with the roller. Yeah. So they kind of roller thing.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Have you seen, like, Oscar oil when he does this? Have you seen, like, his stories, bro? He's so funny, bro.
Josh Leva
This man just started washing his face, like, two weeks ago. Like, this guy just has, like, perfect skin. He doesn't do anything.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, gorgeous skin.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah.
Eric Ochoa
You got that gorgeous beard, too, dude. Like, bro.
Josh Leva
So in high school, you didn't deal with any kind of acne?
Sebas
Not really, bro.
Josh Leva
Like, that wasn't even a thought. That wasn't even, like, a thought.
Eric Ochoa
Can't relate, man.
Josh Leva
Wow. That was. When I think about high school, I just think of, like, acne.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, same here.
Sebas
Not me. The only thing I worried about was, like, how sharp are my pencils?
Josh Leva
Wow.
Sebas
How sharp were they sharp? Because I never used them.
Eric Ochoa
The number twos. No, that wasn't you?
Josh Leva
I took them.
Sebas
Remember lead pencils?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, yeah.
Josh Leva
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Sebas
And then you go like this.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
You're crazy, bro. You're crazy.
Sebas
No, but I never had any really type of acne.
Eric Ochoa
Like, good for you, man. Good. Good for you. It's great.
Sebas
The only. The only time I had acne was when I was 18. I graduated high school, I started working at LA Fitness. Shout out to everybody that has ever worked at LA Fitness.
Eric Ochoa
It's a great job at One Zip, bro.
Josh Leva
Bro, you worked at LA Fitness? No, you did not.
Sebas
As a sales. Yeah, I sold memberships. And then I used to go to colleges and campuses and pull up our tent. Me and the guy, the other salesman guy, we do a tent and then we'd try to sell memberships to college kids.
Josh Leva
Wow. I didn't know that.
Sebas
I told you I used to work at Ellie Fitness, ass wipe.
Josh Leva
I just didn't listen.
Eric Ochoa
Oh.
Josh Leva
Nor care.
Sebas
So I. I started taking this weight gainer because I wanted to get big.
Josh Leva
It's called mass gainer.
Sebas
Whatever it is. And because I was. Because I was like, skinny, skinnier, and I want to take this weight in because once I started working LA Fitness, like, a couple months prior, and then after I started getting really into working out and I wanted to get big, so that weight gainer gave me mad acne on my arms.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, really?
Sebas
Yeah. That's the only type of acne I've ever, like, dealt with. Yeah. Other than that. No. Grew up having great skin and just a flawless beard.
Eric Ochoa
Beautiful. Amazing.
Josh Leva
I always knew I had, like, bad skin in high school and I was kind of, like, insecure about it and stuff.
Sebas
Even in high school.
Josh Leva
Even in high school, bro. It wasn't. It wasn't. No, it was pretty bad. It was pretty bad. Yeah. Especially because I played football. So, like, our helmets and, like, the sweat, just like, it was bad, bro.
Eric Ochoa
Got a photo right here.
Josh Leva
But it wasn't until I got on YouTube because, dude, I didn't even think about it. I just wanted to make, like, YouTube videos and those comment sections.
Sebas
Dude, what would they say about you? You're so nice.
Josh Leva
No, they'll just say, like, this dude's skin is terrible. Like. Yeah, like, they would just call it out.
Sebas
Especially when every video is going, like, a million plus.
Josh Leva
Yeah, this is even before that, bro. This is when I was, like, starting to build my name. Yeah.
Sebas
What would they say about you?
Josh Leva
Just that, like, Fatso Burger breath. I never got that.
Sebas
Remember that meme where it's like, so what did they call you in School and that white kid. And, like, he's kind of, like, putting his own two cents, too. I gotta share the video. It's hilarious.
Josh Leva
He's, like, thinking.
Sebas
He goes fat. So. So, like, what are the names that they call, dude? Oh, yeah, like, for example, like, Fatso, Pork Chop, Things like that burger. Yeah. Then the kid's like, yeah, yeah, I gotta show it to you.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, probably.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Dang.
Sebas
They would say things like that about you. Huh? I feel bad.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Well, they would also, like, drop, like, because I would get that same, too. It's just like, hey, listen, if you just, like, started applying this. This cream that my mom has from Mexico, I'm like, all right.
Josh Leva
Right. Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
All right.
Josh Leva
And I would listen.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Where did you get it for?
Josh Leva
Yeah. Really? Yeah.
Sebas
Yeah.
Josh Leva
But that was the first time I really, like, really became insecure about my skin, like, to the max.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
When I was like.
Eric Ochoa
We'd have conversations about it. Yeah, for sure.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And then we talk about, like, our.
Josh Leva
How jealous we were.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Other friends that just. With gorgeous skin. We were like, they don't even fuck. Yeah, whatever. Great beard, dude. It's nice.
Sebas
It's actually longer than average right now. I need to trim it.
Josh Leva
Can you grow a beard?
Eric Ochoa
You know what I started doing? I started adding, like, some type of, like, minoxidil. Yeah, I did the Minoxidil. Did it work? A little bit. It actually kind of started here, but, like, I should have done it for a whole year. Did you get closer to look at it?
Josh Leva
So I. I have a little, like.
Sebas
Okay. Oh, so it's working.
Eric Ochoa
It's working, but it's not working on this side.
Josh Leva
Interesting.
Sebas
Yeah. Have you seen the guys that rub that derma, like, needle thing on their face and then they add the serum? That looks like it works, bro.
Josh Leva
Have you seen people do, like, beard implants?
Rachel
Yeah.
Sebas
You should do that, dude. They do it in magazine.
Josh Leva
You should do that.
Sebas
You should do that, dude. It doesn't look that bad. It doesn't look that bad.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
I feel like.
Josh Leva
Does it?
Eric Ochoa
No.
Sebas
Looks fine.
Eric Ochoa
If you were to shave off your beard right now, I look like a fucking. You think it would change your personality completely, too?
Sebas
Yeah, probably. I'd be probably, like, really shy, timid.
Josh Leva
You wouldn't feel like yourself.
Eric Ochoa
No.
Sebas
Yeah.
Josh Leva
No way.
Sebas
Have you ever seen me with my. With my face shaved, like, baked, like, with a razor?
Josh Leva
No.
Sebas
Right. I look like a fucking elbow.
Josh Leva
What would it take for you to shave your beard? What would it take? Like, literally anything? Like. Like, could it be, like, you got a roll?
Sebas
I mean, I don't really care about money, to be honest, but, like, y' all don't know. You tell me you're not going to find anything.
Josh Leva
Like, if you got asked to be, like, in a Marvel movie, they just require you to, like, shave your beard, would you do it?
Sebas
Well, yeah, I'm being a marvel.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. That's cool.
Josh Leva
Let me see how far you would go.
Sebas
I'll be the Brown Panther.
Josh Leva
Is there? Yeah.
Sebas
No, you're never gonna see anything.
Josh Leva
Wow.
Sebas
It's never been done.
Eric Ochoa
Damn.
Sebas
Maybe if you find a picture of me when I was in eighth grade.
Josh Leva
What if Karen was like, I would really love for you to, like, shave you.
Sebas
I'll say. No, the.
Eric Ochoa
She probably loves it though, huh?
Sebas
Like, like my beard?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, your beard.
Sebas
She likes it. She thinks it's really.
Eric Ochoa
She's definitely seen you without a beard.
Sebas
No. Yeah, kinda. Kinda.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Would you do it for a 200th episode?
Sebas
No.
Eric Ochoa
Wow. Let me just throw that in there.
Sebas
Not at all.
Josh Leva
Let's go.
Sebas
No, it's like me saying, would you. Would you buzz your.
Josh Leva
Your head for our 200 episodes? Yeah, I'll do it.
Sebas
Yeah, right.
Josh Leva
But you gotta shave your beard.
Sebas
I'm not shaving my beard, bro. You don't want to see me like that, bro. Honestly.
Eric Ochoa
Do it, do it, do it.
Sebas
Maybe I'll do it after this break.
Josh Leva
Oh, I think you are going to. Huh?
Eric Ochoa
Wait. Shave it?
Sebas
Yeah, I'll show you right now.
Eric Ochoa
Shut the up.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah.
Sebas
But it's part of our bit. I'm about to shave.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, my God.
Sebas
We'll be right back.
Eric Ochoa
So I'm trying to figure it out.

Even somebody like you who has, like, you've built, like a brand for yourself and yeah, you understand what it is to, like, create content. You're like, I. I want to do a podcast. So I'm just going to start. I don't got a name. I don't got nothing, but I'm going to do it.
Sebas
Yeah, that be cool.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, I knew I felt big dick energy walking up.
Josh Leva
Whoa. Don't say all that to him.
Sebas
Don't say all that to n. He's going to leave off big headed.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, that's the point.
Josh Leva
He's got essential oils in his water cup right now. I knew it.
Sebas
Lavender. Yeah, we're starting now.
Josh Leva
All right, let's go.
Eric Ochoa
Wait, can I just tell you guys the names really quick?
Josh Leva
Oh, yeah, please, can you just say oh, yeah, yeah, can we say it on the podcast?
Sebas
Hey, bro, hold on, hold on. Yeah, when you say something on this podcast, magic happens. Am I right, Josh?
Josh Leva
He's right here.
Eric Ochoa
Read those.
Sebas
Tesa Lou was mentioned here first.
Josh Leva
Yeah, really?
Sebas
And it's very successful right now.
Josh Leva
A week prior.
Eric Ochoa
Maybe you guys can help me in the comment section with my.
Josh Leva
Yeah, okay, here we go, guys.
Sebas
Super. Can you tell them what's going on right now for those?
Josh Leva
Yeah, so I hate it. No, these are good. These are good. Eric Super Ego is starting a podcast and he is trying to figure out a name. He already started recording a few episodes and now we just got to get the branding right. And he asked Chat GPT for some help along with his own Chat bt. Chat GPT. Mind.
Eric Ochoa
Yes.
Josh Leva
Yeah. Your own mind, Rick.
Eric Ochoa
Bt.
Josh Leva
Yep. So first name.
Eric Ochoa
No, it's not Chat bt.
Josh Leva
Chat GPT gbt.
Eric Ochoa
Pt. Okay, I saw that clip.
Josh Leva
I'm sorry. Oh, did you really think it was Chat GBT in the very beginning? Yeah.
Sebas
Yeah, just like thousands of other Americans.
Josh Leva
That's fair. Okay, so first name that we have is Nobody's Perfect podcast.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Okay.
Eric Ochoa
Did you know misspelled? Did you?
Josh Leva
Oh, okay.
Eric Ochoa
Perfect.
Josh Leva
That's what I was gonna say. So it's spelled P E R F.
Eric Ochoa
E C K. All right, well, now that you've spelled it out, it sounds stupid.
Josh Leva
Yeah, I think it looks better than it sounds.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. By the way. Okay.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah. Nobody's Perfect podcast. Yeah, yeah.
Sebas
Next.
Josh Leva
All right. Understanding Me podcast.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, wait, that was a stupid one, though. That went away.
Josh Leva
So top of the list.
Eric Ochoa
No, no, no, no.
Josh Leva
This is number one.
Eric Ochoa
Understand me, dude.
Josh Leva
This is my fave.
Sebas
Everything is ranked by five stars.
Eric Ochoa
Also misspelled.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah.
Sebas
Which was the third one?
Josh Leva
I'm sorry, what's the third one? Or pod.
Sebas
Okay. Okay.
Josh Leva
Neighborhood foos.
Sebas
Okay.
Josh Leva
The Foo show.
Sebas
Okay.
Josh Leva
These are all Chat GPT.
Eric Ochoa
Huh? Some.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah.
Sebas
Okay.
Josh Leva
Real talk.
Sebas
Foo Foo.
Josh Leva
Oh, this one's good. Foods for Thought.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, like, food for Thought. But I was like, I want to stay away from the food, but I couldn't help but, like, come up with so many.
Josh Leva
Stay feeding my pod.
Eric Ochoa
No.
Sebas
Okay. I don't know.
Eric Ochoa
I don't know. What. That's a good thing.
Josh Leva
Do you guys like these?
Sebas
They're laughing a little too hard.
Josh Leva
No. Mama's Fool.
Eric Ochoa
Okay. And it's spelled mms.
Josh Leva
Yeah. Brown E Firme.
Eric Ochoa
Thanks. Chat GPT. I just copy pasted these, by the way.
Sebas
Okay.
Josh Leva
Fool's Day podcast.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Fool's Day.
Josh Leva
Yeah. That's terrible.
Eric Ochoa
We're gonna delete all this. Hey, don't put this up.
Josh Leva
Which is your favorite out of here.
Eric Ochoa
I was gonna go with, like, it's not on there, but it's a Sunday afternoon. Was another one. Sunday Afternoon.
Josh Leva
But you need. You want, like, a Latino flair to it, maybe.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, yeah. Like, I mean, you definitely. Yeah. My phone.
Sebas
I like that. I like that. You know what? I'm gonna. I'm gonna.
Josh Leva
I like Foods for Thought. I think there's something there.
Sebas
Yeah, no, I think there's definitely something that was my favorite.
Josh Leva
If not. If not the name, like, maybe you can do a little segment called Foods.
Eric Ochoa
For Foods for Thought in the.
Sebas
Oh, in the actual.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, like this part of the segment. Yeah, yeah, we get into Foods for Thought.
Josh Leva
That's pretty funny.
Sebas
We're going to come up with a name.
Eric Ochoa
We'll figure it out. Let's do it together.
Josh Leva
Yeah, let's do it.
Sebas
Are we going to be invited in your podcast?
Eric Ochoa
100%, please.
Josh Leva
How many episodes have you shot?
Eric Ochoa
Three.
Josh Leva
Okay. Yeah, three. So who was the third guest.
Eric Ochoa
You.
Sebas
Got to give AA exclusive.
Eric Ochoa
It's gonna be. Oh, it's gonna be Vanessa. So it's like two.
Josh Leva
Oh, gotcha. Okay. And this is gonna be, like, technically, like a solo podcast that you're doing.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, solo for now. Yeah.
Sebas
Hey, have you guys ever fought?
Josh Leva
Yes.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, I think we got into that.
Sebas
The first time, like, physically fought?
Josh Leva
No, no. I'd kick his ass.
Sebas
I don't know.
Eric Ochoa
Like, to see you try, bro.
Sebas
I feel like he's big, but he's slow. Like, by his first punch, I've already knocked him out.
Eric Ochoa
Have you guys fought?
Sebas
Never.
Eric Ochoa
Let's do it right now, dude.
Sebas
Yeah. My question was, have you guys ever. What Americans like to call bicker.
Eric Ochoa
Have we bickered, Josh?
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
You guys have some moments.
Sebas
Yeah.
Josh Leva
I've known this guy since I was 20 years old. He was. I lived with him. He was, like, my. My first roommate.
Eric Ochoa
Well, it's weird to, like, live with someone, too, you know? Like, you can. You guys can, like, meet up and then be like, all right, I'm sick of fucking Josh right now, and I can just go back.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
I feel like if me and him live with each other, he'd be sick of me.
Eric Ochoa
Really? Are you? What? What do you think?
Sebas
I just feel like I wouldn't give him his privacy.
Eric Ochoa
Just always be in his face. That's kind of crap.
Sebas
Through the door.
Eric Ochoa
Let's talk about your day, bro.
Sebas
Like, just with him, take his socks off and.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, you're like a prankster like that.
Sebas
Yeah. Like, take a sock off. Like, probably put, like, a billiards ball in there and just hit him with it.
Eric Ochoa
Wow.
Sebas
My older brother just, like, do, like that.
Eric Ochoa
Damn.
Sebas
Open the dawn of. Wife's taking a. Yeah. Gotcha.
Eric Ochoa
Wow. Yeah, my older brother used to kind of, like, around with us a lot like that. Like, if we were taking showers, he'd get a bucket of, like, cold water, and he'd dump it in there.
Josh Leva
Oh.
Eric Ochoa
And he found it so funny. But, like, me and my little brother, we didn't really grow up, like, pranking like that.
Josh Leva
So what's the age gap?
Eric Ochoa
Five years. He's older. He's my half brother, actually.
Josh Leva
David.
Eric Ochoa
Jeff.
Josh Leva
Oh, Jeff.
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. So he. We have different moms, same dad.
Sebas
Has Josh ever ran out of gas and hit you up to help him out?
Eric Ochoa
I saw that clip.
Sebas
No, because he's done it to me twice already, and you would think he'd learned his lesson on the first one.
Josh Leva
It's the G, bro. It's not even me.
Sebas
He always blames his bro. He blames his Jeep, like, if he doesn't have the thing that says E or not.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. Oh, dude.
Josh Leva
Yeah, whatever. But you'd come help me.
Eric Ochoa
100. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sebas
I would, too.
Eric Ochoa
100, bro, without a question. I remember one time, though, with me and Josh, like, I think the first time I feel Like, I broke your heart. Oh, there's like a moment I feel like this is. This is good. We. We were working out a bunch.
Josh Leva
Okay.
Eric Ochoa
We're getting our little protein shakes. We're always getting a little pumpkin. And there was one time where I had to tell Josh because I had another homie from work and he was like, hey, bro, let's go get a workout in. I'm like, oh, for sure. And I had to tell you. I'm like, oh, actually, I'm canceling our workout tonight, cuz I'm going with another buddy of mine.
Josh Leva
Oh.
Eric Ochoa
And you were like, stirring your. And you're like, oh, okay.
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, that's cool. Boops.
Josh Leva
Yeah, that's cool.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, sure. This is. What.
Josh Leva
We're living together.
Eric Ochoa
We were living together, dude. And I remember Rafael Raphael. He was from. From work. Oh, but whatever. Why do you care?
Josh Leva
Where is he now? I don't know.
Eric Ochoa
He's still at the gym. No, but like, I remember getting that workout and like, bro, like, something inside of your, like, face, your demeanor, everything changed about you that day. And I felt like after that day, like we kind of had like a little attention. Yeah, like, you were like, okay, cool. That's cool.
Josh Leva
It's fine. Was that making my so mad?
Eric Ochoa
You? Yeah, you were like in the middle of making something. I don't think it was like, during. I don't know. Dude, you were always making something.
Sebas
Isn't it crazy every time you go to Josh's house, you're always drinking pre workout. I remember vividly when we lived in downtown la and I used to come over to your. Your pad at the Watermark. We're just drinking pre workout. I think we're gonna go work out too.
Josh Leva
Yeah. What was it? Do you remember?
Sebas
It was blue. Remember?
Eric Ochoa
It was blue gtl.
Sebas
And we go to that gym in the dungeon.
Josh Leva
Oh, yeah, the Watermark. That was sick.
Sebas
Yeah, that was.
Josh Leva
It was like a private gym gym. Yeah. That nobody used ever.
Sebas
Nobody beautiful. And it was a beautiful gym.
Josh Leva
Yeah, no, it was sick. I don't remember the story, dude.
Eric Ochoa
You don't?
Josh Leva
No.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, dude. Something inside of you snapped that day. You've never been.
Sebas
Is there anything that you remember that you want to bring up?
Eric Ochoa
Do it. I don't care what I got, bro.
Josh Leva
I got some. I got some.
Eric Ochoa
I was a great roommate. You gotta. You gotta admit that.
Sebas
Who was the messy one and who was the clean one or God?
Eric Ochoa
He was messy.
Sebas
As you're messy.
Josh Leva
I wasn't messy.
Eric Ochoa
As you didn't refill the toilet paper.
Sebas
Oh, come on, dude.
Eric Ochoa
You would forget to flush. There was Masa in the toilet seat.
Sebas
I've been living each other. You've definitely seen his poop, right? Like, he had to forget how to flush.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
That's why, you know your homies.
Eric Ochoa
I mean, I'd have to wipe for him sometimes, too.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah, bro. Normal.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, Nalgona. I got it. Got a brush. This.
Sebas
Is the horse.
Josh Leva
He would get mad at me because I would, like, make my protein shakes.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, we talked about that.
Josh Leva
Yeah. Give us something new, like, little residue that would, like, fall in the. Like, the sink and stuff like that. And. No, not even. It was, like, the milk stuff. So it would, like, kind of leave like the.
Eric Ochoa
On the spoon, you know, like if you sit on the counter.
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
So there was like, just chocolate dots everywhere.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Hey.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Just chocolate dots of synthesis or what?
Josh Leva
The red one. I'm trying to think, man. I didn't really have much beef with you, bro. I felt like I was.
Sebas
Well, yeah, he was a clean one.
Josh Leva
Yeah, he was good.
Eric Ochoa
I mean, I gave you a little warning, too. I was just kind of like, hey, before you move in, bro, like, I'm. I'm a little weird with this. Like, I. I'm meticulous with specific things.
Josh Leva
Yeah. But in all fairness, like, this was your first, like, ohm spot ever.
Eric Ochoa
Got a little condo.
Josh Leva
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sebas
That's tight.
Eric Ochoa
You're like, can I move in with you, please?
Josh Leva
Because I got kicked out of my mom, so I had nowhere to go.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, you hated. Yeah, yeah, yeah. At the moment. Yeah.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
But I mean, we were fun roommates, though, still, man.
Josh Leva
Oh, for sure.
Eric Ochoa
We would definitely, like, pay his gossip.
Sebas
He would pay his rent on time and everything.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, yeah. No, he was really good about that. Yeah.
Sebas
You had. You already had, like, an actual, like, a real job.
Josh Leva
No, I was making YouTube videos.
Sebas
Just.
Josh Leva
Just YouTube.
Eric Ochoa
I remember you left your. Your work, and then you were working. You were doing, like, a factory thing.
Josh Leva
Yeah. At a warehouse. Yeah, yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And there was one time, I think I told you. I told you. You were just like, bro. Like. Like. So you just do this YouTube and you're like, yeah. He's like, bro. So you're just like, always off. Like, I'm like, yeah, bro. It's like every day is like a Friday for me. And you went, yeah, dude. You would repeat that to people. You would say that all the time to everybody. It's just like, every day's like a Friday.
Josh Leva
Really?
Sebas
You still say shit like that, bro?
Josh Leva
Do you? I remember and we can cut this out if you want, but the first time I ever realized that I wanted to do YouTube, like, I knew I loved it, right? But when I realized that there was a potential, like, to have a career and make money from it was from you. And I always tell this story, and I don't think I've ever told to you, but I felt like you hypnotized me. We were sitting at somebody's house. We were shooting a YouTube video, and we were sitting like this, and we were talking about, like, YouTube and AdSense and stuff like that. And then you go, do you know how much money I made on AdSense this month? And I was like, how much? And then you went, you want this? You went, I made $10,000. Yeah. And I was like, holy.
Eric Ochoa
I did this?
Josh Leva
Yeah, you did this, bro. You're like, I made $10,000 and you did your hands like that. And I always say to people, I was like, I feel like he hypnotized me because I was like, holy, bro. You can make that kind of money making YouTube videos. And I never. I'd never made more than like, 1500 bucks a month or something like that.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
So I was like. That was the first time that I was like, this is a possibility. There's something here that I can do.
Eric Ochoa
You remember that?
Sebas
You mind hypnotizing me right now?
Eric Ochoa
I got you, bro.
Josh Leva
Do you remember that?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, no, I remember it.
Sebas
Do you remember this?
Eric Ochoa
I remember seeing your face. I don't remember this. I don't remember this.
Josh Leva
You did this with your hands.
Eric Ochoa
Twice.
Josh Leva
I think it was like three times. And I was like, okay, bro, I get it.
Sebas
Started putting the raver things on the.
Eric Ochoa
Fingers, like.
Sebas
Afro Jack in the background.
Josh Leva
Afro Jack once. And, bro, that's funny.
Eric Ochoa
But I mean, you were just so passionate about everything, dude. And you.
Josh Leva
You were.
Eric Ochoa
You would soak everything in. Like, when you would have conversations with people, you, like, look him in the eyes. Like, Josh was very intense, too, like, when he was younger. You're just gonna. You're still the same way. Yeah, but no, he has his own.
Sebas
Way of hypnotizing people. Now, what's that one thing that you said recently to that one younger cat who. He was like, dude, you, like, drive. You, like, drive my dream car or something like that? And then what did you tell him after? Say it.
Josh Leva
Say, I didn't say that.
Sebas
Yeah, you did.
Josh Leva
Say it, fool.
Sebas
You can cut it out if you.
Eric Ochoa
Don'T like it, say it.
Josh Leva
I was like, oh, yeah? Well, your dream is my reality. Bucko. Like, what a dick, right? I did not say that. I told you that.
Eric Ochoa
It was a joke. It was a bit. Buckle. Oh, wow.
Sebas
What a dick, right?
Eric Ochoa
You said that.
Josh Leva
I did not say that, bro. I did not say that.
Sebas
He had to take that kid because now that kid's like, all right, yeah, you could have.
Eric Ochoa
You could have pushed them.
Sebas
Words of encouragement.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, but I don't think you said it like.
Josh Leva
No, I just don't. Wait, No, I was just like, anything is possible.
Sebas
Bro.
Eric Ochoa
He said.
Sebas
I said, well, your dream is my reality. Buckle.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, my God. Yeah, you changed that, dude.
Sebas
You hit him with the butt.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. I mean, if you did say that, if you did.
Sebas
Did say that, kind of almost like the same thing that you did kind of just not as D Baggy.
Josh Leva
This is pretty D baggy, bro.
Eric Ochoa
No, I take it back.
Sebas
N any think it's possible.
Josh Leva
Anything.
Sebas
It's possible. Your dream is my reality.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, man, that's so sick. What a flex. Yeah, flex.
Josh Leva
Oh, man. Good kid, good kid, good sport, good sport.
Sebas
He said you give him a knuckle sandwich. Little nookie. Come here. Look, a twerp.
Eric Ochoa
Oh. What else do you want to accomplish? Oh, damn.
Josh Leva
Damn. You're going to cut one episode. Yeah, definite. Definitely a different experience from the first one. We didn't get lit, so we got to bring you back for the 40th, and we got to get lit with you.
Eric Ochoa
Let's get lit, bro. It. I need an excuse.
Josh Leva
I feel like right now we're pretty, like, locked in, but I feel like, like starting October, we tend to, like, loosen up a bit and then we start drinking.
Eric Ochoa
It's going to get wild. It's going to get very wild.
Josh Leva
Oh, she's seen it. Oh, she's seen it.
Eric Ochoa
I get bad.
Sebas
Yeah, I've. I've been there, too.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And we're doing it with our. With our dicks up.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
100. Yeah, yeah, 100.
Josh Leva
Now you.
Eric Ochoa
Mine's out right now, but you guys.
Josh Leva
Well, Boobs, thank you so much for coming on, man. It was an absolute pleasure. Privilege, privilege, privilege. And I'm excited for your podcast. The no name podcast. The chili oil is incredible. I highly recommend everybody to go get it. It's phenomenal. I'm not just saying that. Try it for yourself. Money back guaranteed, right?
Eric Ochoa
Yes. So, hey, can we type in something?
Josh Leva
What.
Eric Ochoa
What else you got going on besides that, man? Oh, live shows. I'm doing live shows now with the Fool's Got Talent is another thing I started on YouTube.
Sebas
Cool.
Eric Ochoa
I'm trying to get back into the YouTube.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
I'm trying to understand what the space is like, because it's a lot of stuff is like very much podcast stuff or like that White Wall shit.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
So I started doing a Fool's Got Talent thing, but it's so good. Thank you.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
So it's just basically getting people that have, like, the talents and then we judge it.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
And we get, like different judges and whatnot. And I'd love for you guys to pop in on one of them too.
Josh Leva
Love that, bro. Are you gonna go on tour?
Eric Ochoa
So we're doing a tour. We're gonna be in Texas. We're gonna be San Antonio. We're gonna be. Yeah. Out there in Houston. All up and down. California.
Josh Leva
We're doing a live show too. Sold out.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, wow.
Josh Leva
Yeah. June 12th.
Eric Ochoa
I can't make it.
Josh Leva
Okay. Wasn't really.
Eric Ochoa
I hope it's fun, though.
Josh Leva
Should be all right. Do you have any tips? Any tips?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah. What are you guys trying to do? You guys trying to make some jokes up there?
Josh Leva
There's gonna be some jokes, you know, Give me.
Eric Ochoa
If you're a stand up comedian, what's your first opening line? Go, Josh. Now everyone's just staring at you.
Sebas
I know it is. So this kid came up to me and he was like, yo, that's your dream car, right?
Eric Ochoa
What's up, buckos? No, what do you got? What do you got?
Josh Leva
I think I would come in hot like that. Yeah, I think that. Yeah, yeah.
Eric Ochoa
They say what? First of all said, boss, what would you do? What's your first opening joke?
Sebas
I don't know.
Josh Leva
That's a tough one, bro. Opening joke.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, yeah.
Josh Leva
What's your opening joke, bucko?
Eric Ochoa
So a lot of times I've learned from other comedians, like, you gotta kind of talk about what it is that you look like right away from the very beginning. So a lot of times I go, come out. What's going on? I know you guys stopped maybe like, this is Mark Anthony from Teemo or something or a Bruno Mars type joke that I'll lean into. Because a lot of people think, yeah, you know, yeah, I'm doing a cover band or some.
Josh Leva
Oh, that's good.
Sebas
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
So kind of comes into that. And then you kind of get into the. The space of, like, starting crowd work. I've got more into, like the crowd work. And so that. That's become a lot of fun.
Josh Leva
Yeah, because you're still writing, like, structured.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, bro. Like, I. I have it all in my. I had like a 30 minute set in my head.
Josh Leva
Wow.
Eric Ochoa
But it's. It feels great to kill time with just talking to them. And then you start using your set and adding it into.
Josh Leva
Oh, that's cool. So you'll pull from a joke based off what somebody has said on the crowd.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Oh, that's cool.
Eric Ochoa
And sometimes people, you know, unless they've seen you before, and then like, oh, he's done that. Arguably did that joke.
Josh Leva
Sometimes it just happens perfectly. Like the person will say, what do you do for a living? And they'll say a thing and they'll like lead you into the joke.
Eric Ochoa
Or you're just kind of just on the spot.
Josh Leva
Wow.
Eric Ochoa
I think you'd be really good at that too. You're pretty funny, like, on the spot.
Josh Leva
Up. Damn.
Eric Ochoa
You two said us, we're just sexy on the spot, bro.
Sebas
I think, I think I'm fun. I think I'm funny.
Josh Leva
You think you're funny, like naturally or you think you're funny, like writing, like naturally?
Sebas
Not writing. Writing. I'd just be like, what I write. Knock, knock. Nah. Like that. I think I'm naturally funny.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Sebas
Like show, like, hey, what's up? Who here circumcised?
Eric Ochoa
Who needs what?
Josh Leva
Who's here? Who here circumcised? Where are my circumcised at?
Sebas
But I beat that ass. Like, I'll never laugh.
Eric Ochoa
I got a whole ass circumcised joke to you.
Josh Leva
Because you're not.
Eric Ochoa
Because I. I'm not. Yeah.
Sebas
You're not circumcised.
Eric Ochoa
I'm not circumcised.
Sebas
Uncircumcised dicks look bigger, huh?
Eric Ochoa
A hundred percent.
Sebas
Do you mind showing us right now? After the pod.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, I got you. I got you right now.
Sebas
Is there any like, Is there any like.
Eric Ochoa
I'm gonna cut that out.
Sebas
Is there any, like, uncircumcised nicknames they used to give you back in the anteater?
Eric Ochoa
Elephant trunk. Yeah. Yeah.
Josh Leva
He's telling you this.
Eric Ochoa
I am. You look at it and you're like, oh, that's crazy. It's like a surprise too.
Josh Leva
How would you like categorize or describe your comedy? Like you're cocky on, like stand up.
Eric Ochoa
Comedy specifically, it's very like family based right now. Because you want to go with something that's real in your life.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
So I talk about my kids, I talk about my wife, I talk about situations and shit. And a lot of times it's a lot of people that have watched like the videos in the past too. So I'll kind of get into some old Shit like that.
Josh Leva
Oh, nice. Do you go into character? Do you ever do like Eagle the cholo, like kind of.
Eric Ochoa
No, no, not really. No. With the food's got talent that we're gonna do like live.
Josh Leva
You're gonna be.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, I'm gonna be you the cholo. And so like, that kind of transitions into like more of the jokes there too.
Sebas
Yeah, I like that.
Eric Ochoa
That's fun.
Josh Leva
Damn.
Sebas
Well, hopefully we make one of those shows come.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Also, everybody back at home, look out for the skit that me and Eric are gonna do.
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
You can't act, bro. Can you act?
Sebas
No, I'm just gonna be myself. That's good enough.
Eric Ochoa
Damn, that was. I don't have that well said.
Sebas
Yeah, I don't have to act.
Josh Leva
You have to act, bro. Eric said he's tough, dude. He's going to push you beyond your limits.
Sebas
Who made that up? That facial expression, like. No, but like this.
Eric Ochoa
Artias.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Sebas
Yeah. You still got an uncle like that?
Eric Ochoa
That.
Sebas
He's the one that called you anteater?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah, yeah. He's a what?
Sebas
He's the one that called you anteater?
Eric Ochoa
Yeah.
Josh Leva
Crazy.
Eric Ochoa
There's.
Sebas
Isn't it crazy how like, some guys have that, some guys don't.
Josh Leva
What do you mean?
Eric Ochoa
What an uncle that touches them. Oh, where are you going with this, bro?
Sebas
Yeah, like, guys are born with like the.
Josh Leva
No, they're not born with circumcise, bro.
Sebas
You didn't let me finish my sentence sense.
Josh Leva
I already know where you're going with this.
Sebas
No, I said it's. We're born. Everyone here, like, for me, I think it's kind of up how they chop my off without me looking at it. Like, bro, I'll kind of like, I'd pay money to see my dick, like, uncircumcised for a little bit.
Eric Ochoa
At least a little skin that they like.
Sebas
I've never seen my people like that.
Josh Leva
I'm gonna be real with you. I love being circumcised.
Sebas
No, same. But you were once not. Do you know, do you remember how.
Eric Ochoa
Your dick looked like you were a couple hours old, bro.
Sebas
Do you remember how your pee pee looked like dick?
Josh Leva
No. My mom made this decision.
Sebas
I know, I know. Yeah, but you wouldn't want to see how it used to look like.
Josh Leva
No, no.
Eric Ochoa
Look at a little baby arm on Josh Leva. Big old dick.
Josh Leva
Not interested, bro.
Eric Ochoa
Big old baby dick.
Josh Leva
My beautiful.
Sebas
That's on mine is too. But bro, I would like to see how my look like.
Eric Ochoa
Prove it.
Josh Leva
Bro.
Sebas
It looked like a little like A thick episode.
Josh Leva
We talked about a dick's way too much.
Sebas
Look like baby larvae.
Josh Leva
All right, we need to understand our audience, bro, you're not understanding our audience right now.
Eric Ochoa
This is getting cut.
Josh Leva
All right.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, man.
Sebas
Great episode, Eric. Yeah, appreciate you.
Josh Leva
Thanks for coming down.
Eric Ochoa
Thanks for having me, guys. Bucko, if you cut the other part out, they're not going to know.
Josh Leva
Yeah.
Eric Ochoa
Was that what my arms look like over there? Okay.
Josh Leva
Damn. No, that's the best seat in the house, bro. That's the best seat in the house.
Sebas
It is. You know, it's crazy. I've never sat there.
Josh Leva
No, I have. We had a guest and she demanded to sit on this side because this like her.
Eric Ochoa
But you can't. That's your good side.
Josh Leva
No. So I had to sit there. That was the only option. I did it. I did obviously want to accommodate our guest. Right. Hopefully you guys are still listening. Eric Ochoa, ladies and gentlemen, on La Platica. There it is. Forever.
Sebas
Follow the.
Josh Leva
Follow the boy.
Sebas
Watch for our skit. Coming soon.
Josh Leva
There it is.
Sebas
Just me and Eric, though. No Josh, no.
Josh Leva
That's cool. I already have my fair share of sketches.
Sebas
Sketches. Now I want him to be on it, too.
Eric Ochoa
Let's do it.
Josh Leva
Sketches is like, sketch.
Eric Ochoa
Oh, yeah.
Sebas
Guys, live show this Thursday.
Josh Leva
Yeah, we'll see you there, baby.
Sebas
What a week we gonna have, huh?
Eric Ochoa
