Ryan
I'm Kim. Just kidding.
Vinny
Bring the camera closer.
Ryan
Hi, guys. My name is Kim and I'm 26 years old and I'm from Austin, Texas.
Josh
Dang. Representing Texas born race.
Kim
Austin, Texas.
Ryan
No, from Georgia.
Kim
Oh, from Georgia.
Josh
No way. Okay, we'll get into that. We'll get into that.
Vinny
That's Kind of what we went like, cowboy.
Josh
I love it.
Vinny
Yeah. Representing Texas.
Kim
I see the botas, bro.
Josh
Wow.
Vinny
But I'm Vinnie, you know, Kim's husband and 26 to.
Josh
Wow.
Kim
Love it, bro.
Josh
Vinnie and Kim married from Texas.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
Look at you guys.
Kim
So I was telling you guys earlier, I found out about you guys through my girlfriend. She's always, like, sending me people to, like, get on the podcast, and she's, like, a really big fan of you guys. And then I started watching you guys content, and I also became, like, a fan. How long have you guys, like, tell me, what's the social media story? Origin.
Ryan
Okay. So we moved to Austin, actually, because we both got into tech.
Kim
Okay.
Ryan
Right after college, and I worked at a tech job fully from home, and I got fired. And I had, like, a little bit of following on TikTok. And I told them, I was like, I kind of just want to go all in on TikTok and see if I can do it. And then when I started showing, like, a relationship, that's what people really liked, and that's kind of where it took off. That's where we started doing, like, couple content and stuff.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
Yeah. So when she actually got fired, I was like, because I was working. Yeah.
Ryan
I was like, I got fired because of TikTok.
Kim
No way.
Ryan
I like me, like, the type of.
Kim
Content that you were posting or they just didn't want you posting.
Ryan
Yeah. They said that took too much of my time.
Kim
Wow. Jokes on them.
Vinny
Yeah. So basically we were like, what do we do? Do we go all in or do we try to get another job for her or what? And we decided to go all in, and here we are.
Kim
What's the timeline? Like, what year is this?
Ryan
Yeah.
Vinny
Two years ago. Two years ago now.
Josh
Wow.
Kim
And Tick Tock was the platform that you guys, like, started on. Wow.
Josh
Kim and Vinny, you guys been just going, like, full force for the past two years.
Vinny
Then basically I actually worked all up until last October.
Josh
No way. How was that?
Vinny
It was tough, honestly.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
I think this is an exclusive insight because I don't think I've said that. Oh, yeah.
Ryan
That you quit your job.
Josh
Really?
Kim
Matt cut that out.
Vinny
No. But, yeah, we started doing really well, and so I had the chance to, you know, do this full time.
Kim
Now that's so cool. That's a blessing, man. Yeah, that's so cool.
Vinny
No, really thankful for that. But, yeah, it wasn't an easy choice because I've worked, you know, there for, like, two years. Two, three years I worked in there. And yeah. Decided to go all in.
Kim
How would you guys describe your content? And then two. Who are, like, some inspirations that you guys have pulled from.
Ryan
Oh, that's good.
Vinny
Yeah.
Ryan
I would describe our content, like, funny and just very realistic. Like, lifestyle content. Like, we just kind of show, like, our true selves online.
Vinny
I feel like that's.
Ryan
People have really liked and I feel like we look up to it, which was crazy. Like, meeting Leslie and Felix.
Kim
Oh, wow.
Ryan
They've been like one of our, like, really, Dude.
Josh
I love. That's amazing.
Kim
Did you guys get to say hi to them? You guys met them before without the first time.
Josh
Oh, how cool. And they're from Texas too.
Ryan
From El Paso.
Kim
Yeah.
Ryan
We're going to be so nonchalant. And then we met them.
Kim
We're like, we're gonna be so chill.
Josh
Right?
Kim
We'll be so chill.
Vinny
Probably a little too nonchalant.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
Good to meet you. How cool.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
They're amazing people, aren't they, dude?
Kim
They really are. They're really so sweet.
Josh
So sweet.
Ryan
Inspiration.
Josh
We just went to the Salud party.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Which was amazing. First of all, congratulations.
Kim
Thank you.
Josh
And your team. It was insane. What a. What a. I'm sorry. I feel like I was in Mexico and I was just trying to tell you something in Spanish. It's just like I'm mixing both of the words together. What a great collaboration.
Kim
It really was, man. It really was. Yeah. She's a rock star, bro. Like, les is awesome. The party was incredible. I'm glad that you guys got to come and meet them and stuff. Yeah. It was the best experience, bro. And honestly, I. That was the most fun I've. I've ever had at a Saluth party.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
The bar just keeps going higher and higher, bro.
Josh
Everybody was there.
Kim
Yeah. It was lit. It was.
Josh
It was so nice to meet everybody, too. So it was really cool. You were saying.
Kim
Oh, just something that I just really enjoyed from you guys. Contact content is that you guys are really just authentic. Like, you guys are just like genuine people. And I think that's part why I think your guys's content works so well. It's like I'm watching, like, even from the moment you guys stepped into the room, I felt like I was watching one of your guys's videos. It's like, very seamless.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
No, that's what we try to do all the time. Just kind of be real.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
Resonates with people. That's what has gotten us to where we are now.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
Yeah. That's what we're going to keep Doing to just be real.
Kim
What's your guys's, like, goal? Like, what. What do you. Where do you guys see yourself in, like, the next five years?
Ryan
I think we've definitely been trying to, like, come up with a business idea. We always talk about Salud. Cuz I'm like, it's so crazy that he thought about that. Like, obviously there's like liquid IV and like, water boing stuff, but I'm like, the fact that he thought about, like, making Hispanic taste and stuff, that was such a good idea. So we always try to come up with, like, good business ideas.
Kim
Yeah, yeah.
Ryan
I think we're still in the works of that, but our goal would be to have, like, a business.
Kim
That's so cool. That's cool. Just so you know, I, like, I had the idea of saluth, like, for like, eight years, and it took a long time for it to, like, come into fruition. But it's good that you guys start thinking like that already, you know, kind of like trying to see what makes sense for you guys.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
What would you guys. If you guys could create a product right now, what would it be?
Josh
Yeah, what would it be?
Vinny
On the spot?
Josh
Just a hydration line called Taste.
Ryan
Would you take his idea?
Josh
It's called. It's called Cheers.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
Like, have y'all seen spa water? Moss, have you seen Mass? And what was the other one?
Ryan
Prime.
Vinny
Prime.
Kim
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Josh
Oh, my God.
Kim
That was. That was Messi. Messi brand.
Josh
Okay, so I don't understand how they put Messi in this conference table. Right. And they pitch him an idea and he doesn't say, that's the same thing as prime the logo, bro.
Kim
I don't think he knows.
Josh
You don't think he knows?
Kim
His marketing team should have, like, done better research and like, just. They. I think they kind of, like, messed them up and that. Doing that.
Josh
He never saw the logo. You don't think?
Kim
I don't. I. I want to say. I want to say he didn't wow. Yeah. I want to say he didn't wow because I don't think he would have approved it.
Josh
Yeah. Have you tried it? I've never tried.
Kim
I've tried Moss. It's good.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
I actually prefer it better than the other guys.
Josh
You a Messi fan or Ronaldo fan?
Kim
Cr. Yeah, way hotter.
Vinny
I'm messy fan. Oh, yeah.
Kim
You know, I have a messy jersey. When he came to Miami, I was.
Josh
Like, I mean, he's goated, bro. Super. Go.
Kim
They're both goats, man.
Josh
So Texas, right now, you're in la. What are some favorite things that you like doing here in la?
Ryan
I think definitely the food.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
You like the food?
Ryan
Some really good food. Like, you mentioned Javier's.
Kim
Yeah.
Ryan
We just tried Porto's for the first.
Josh
Time and we really like.
Kim
You guys have the potato balls?
Josh
No.
Kim
You guys have the pastries? It's like.
Josh
Yeah. Jessica, she's like the biggest.
Kim
She always brings.
Josh
I'm surprised today.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
So. So the food, obviously.
Kim
Do you guys like Tex Mex? You guys Tex Mex?
Ryan
We love.
Josh
Really?
Vinny
I like, like Mexican. Mexican food.
Kim
Okay. Yeah.
Vinny
But Texas is good, because that's in Austin. Or Texas. That's like, the thing.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
Dude, I've never been. You've been Austin.
Josh
Me neither. And I was just about to ask. No, I've never been to Austin.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
And I always get invited to go to Austin and they always say, come to Austin because you're from la. And then, like, Austin is like the LA of Texas. Is that true?
Kim
That's what they say.
Josh
Why is that? Why is that?
Ryan
I think a lot of, like, influencers and a lot of people from California migrated.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
So it's very, like, Elon and.
Kim
Yeah. Rogan and all that.
Vinny
There's a lot of tech and stuff.
Kim
They say that Isn't, like, the slogan, like, keep Austin weird?
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
Is it weird? Like, what does that. What does that mean?
Josh
It is weird. It is weird.
Kim
Like, what do you mean by weird? Like. Like, hipster, kind of like, like, very hippie. Ema.
Vinny
There's a street that's called the 36.
Kim
Okay.
Vinny
And it's just bars.
Kim
Oh, sick.
Vinny
Yeah. And so you can go out there and you don't know what you're gonna see.
Kim
Is that 9th street or is that not. Is that not. Is that a whole different area? Did I just make that up? I just.
Vinny
They go, like, 5th, 6th, 7th.
Kim
Oh, 6th Street. Is 6th street where the bars are?
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
Okay.
Josh
Okay, Okay.
Kim
I knew there was a single.
Josh
So now I know that if we go to Austin, we have somebody to take us around.
Ryan
We know there's places.
Josh
So have you guys had In N Out?
Ryan
Yeah, we actually have an in and out in Austin.
Kim
Oh, no.
Josh
Oh, my God, you're right. So In N Out fans.
Ryan
So it is kind of like la.
Josh
Do people from Austin, obviously. Texans all the way. Like, I'm from Texas, I'm from Texas. Right. But, like, people from Austin, are they kind of like, no, I'm from Austin, I'm not from over there.
Ryan
Yeah.
Josh
Type shit.
Ryan
When Austin think they're like, the better part Of Texas.
Josh
Really?
Kim
Really. It's more uppity.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
Is it because you guys have it in and out?
Vinny
Yeah, I think it's just, like, the aura around city.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
You're originally from. You're originally from Texas, right?
Vinny
No, no, no, no. Oh, so we're originally from Georgia.
Kim
Oh, both of you guys are from Georgia. Oh, okay.
Vinny
Our. Our back of. It's kind of crazy. We actually met in seventh grade.
Kim
Oh.
Vinny
We started dating. Seventh grade.
Josh
No way.
Ryan
Each other's first, like, boyfriend, girlfriend.
Josh
Wow.
Vinny
Yeah. But we weren't together the whole time. We've had some breakups.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
Yeah. That's. Yeah. That's crazy.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
So in high school, you guys dated, right? Throughout high school. One of the. One was the first breakup probably in high school. High school for two years. Two years?
Josh
Yeah.
Ryan
Two years.
Josh
Wow.
Ryan
We thought we were, like, done forever, and then. Yeah.
Josh
So how did it. How did it rekindle, like, what's going on?
Kim
And what did he do?
Vinny
I. I hit her up on Snapchat. I was like.
Josh
I was like, hey, remember me?
Vinny
I was. I said, sorry, can we talk?
Ryan
Yeah, we talked a lot about his story, which he actually, like, went through a lot during high school.
Kim
Yeah.
Ryan
And so I think that's kind of the reason why we broke up. He, like, dealt with drug issues and. Yeah, we talked a lot about it on Alanize, which we told y'all about, like, the first podcast that we did.
Kim
Wow.
Ryan
But then after, it's kind of when he hit me up, like, he was going through a tough time, so that's when we started talking again.
Kim
Wow. So two years, like, in the middle of high school, that's when you had broke up, and then you guys got back together in high school or was like.
Ryan
No, like, after high school.
Vinny
After high school, we were in college.
Josh
First year of college.
Vinny
First year.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
And then we haven't broken up since.
Kim
Oh, no way.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
Wow. Two years is a. That's a long time.
Josh
Yeah.
Ryan
That's why I think we got young. Mar. Married young, too, because we've, like, known each other for forever.
Josh
That's really beautiful. And you guys. Parents have known you guys since you guys were kids.
Vinny
Since you were kids growing up together. Like, our families basically grew up together. Little brothers and sisters, friends.
Josh
No way.
Vinny
Yeah. We go back.
Josh
Wow. Good for you guys. And you guys are married now.
Kim
You guys got married how long ago?
Vinny
When we were 23. We were three years ago. I'm trying to do the math, right?
Josh
You guys got married in Texas?
Vinny
Yeah, we actually got married in Italy.
Kim
Whoa.
Vinny
Family. But you saw.
Josh
He said Italy.
Kim
Anyone like it?
Josh
He said, we actually got married in Italy. Have you ever ate gelato? Yeah. Pasta. Yeah.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Congratulations. What an amazing. How was getting married in Italy? How was the wedding planning to. You know, how does that go? Like, because here in the United States, you can at least talk to the wedding planner.
Kim
Right.
Josh
Because he's here. He or she. But in Italy, how is that.
Ryan
I think it was pretty easy because we did something really small just with, like, our immediate family, like parents and siblings, and we just, like, coordinated with a restaurant, like, to do something on the rooftop.
Josh
Okay. So they kind of. Kind of handle it, huh?
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Wow.
Ryan
But it was amazing.
Vinny
Yeah. And we wanted to have our family there.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
And they've always wanted to go to Italy, so we made them look.
Kim
You guys have been there before going or getting married? First time going. Getting married. Bucket.
Vinny
We love to travel.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
And that. It was always our dream to do that, so.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Yeah. So you guys travel a lot, right? I just saw you guys went to Mexico City.
Ryan
Yeah.
Josh
Yeah. And then you started telling her, oh.
Kim
Dude, I love this video about, like.
Josh
I guess you were dressing like. He kind of said, like, you're kind of like, watch a lot of vibes. You know what I mean? You were like. He said, looks like you're about to go to sleep. You know? So is. Is. Is. Can we break that? Like, is that, like, a myth? Is that like a. Like a little mythbuster that we can do?
Kim
Yeah. I think you had mentioned. Or she. You had said that. He said that it was r. The way you were, like, dressed. Right. And then it was like, I. And I was like, I. I don't necessarily think it's rude, but I get what you're saying. It's like this unspoken rule, right. It's, like, frowned upon, for sure, to kind of, like, not dress decently when you're, like, out and about.
Josh
Okay.
Ryan
Like the bun or something.
Kim
Yeah, exactly. I have a question, though. Did you. Was that something that was, like, somewhat like, did you guys talk about it, or you just put the camera on her and just went in for it?
Vinny
We kind of just put the camera.
Kim
That's hilarious. So she had no idea? No.
Vinny
And the term I used was flying.
Josh
You don't want to be called a Fodonga.
Ryan
I know, but we were. In my defense, we were just gonna get churros.
Kim
Yeah.
Ryan
I was like, it doesn't matter.
Kim
But yeah.
Ryan
Yeah. The comments were definitely split, so. It was.
Kim
It was. I did notice that, too. The comments were Split. And then, like, I think, like, shortly after you guys went out again, and then he was in sweats.
Ryan
They called him out on it. He's like, we're on our way to the airport.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
That was why.
Josh
But airport swag, where I was coming.
Vinny
From was she had planned fits for every day.
Kim
Okay.
Vinny
We were in Mexico as a trip, and so you had a planned fit for every day, and then you choose.
Ryan
To wear the most comfortable outfit I had.
Josh
Yeah. Did you guys enjoy Mexico City?
Ryan
We love it. Yeah. It was our second time there.
Josh
Where are you guys from?
Ryan
Guanajuato.
Kim
No way.
Josh
Amazing city.
Vinny
Well, I'm from, like, a little, tiny rancho.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
She's from, like, a bigger city.
Josh
Yeah. So you're from Guanajuato. We just went there Recently?
Kim
Less than a year ago.
Josh
Oh, yeah. I've been there multiple times. That plaza, you say my name, everybody who knows. No, I swear to God, you know.
Vinny
Swear to God, I'm gonna go. And they'll be like, bro, hello.
Josh
Lavanda. Like, crazy there. So. So Guanajuato. Amazing.
Kim
Yeah. Beautiful.
Josh
Where are you? Around Guanajuato or somewhere completely different.
Vinny
So this is also crazy. We're actually. My Hometown is about 45 minutes away from her.
Josh
Wow.
Kim
Wow.
Vinny
Yeah. Loki. Are we related?
Ryan
That's, like, the big, I don't know, bro thing on TikTok. Everyone's like. They always. They look like. Like siblings. They look like cousins, really?
Josh
I don't see it. I don't see it either.
Kim
I don't see it either.
Ryan
Go along with it. To, like.
Josh
Yeah, wait, you go along with it?
Ryan
Yeah, yeah. Like, I'm like, yeah, for sure.
Kim
No, for sure. Have you guys done, like, a 23andMe, like, one of those, like, DNA where you can, like, figure out.
Josh
Sure.
Ryan
Not really.
Josh
I know.
Kim
Well, now I'm intrigued.
Josh
I'm like, wait a minute. Like, keep talking about it like, they're not bro. No. That's so funny. Well, I don't. I don't see it.
Ryan
I don't see it either.
Josh
You guys have completely different eyes. Yeah.
Ryan
We always say maybe it's just the light skin and dark hair. That's, like, the only thing. But I feel like we don't have any similar.
Vinny
Well, we also got nose jobs at the same time.
Kim
Wait, this is real? For real? Yeah.
Josh
Both had nose jobs, same doctor. At the same time.
Ryan
They gave us the same, like, nose.
Vinny
She got it first, and then a year later, I got one.
Kim
You just showed the doctor her photo.
Josh
And. Okay, so, you know, it's. It's More common for a woman to get a nose job. Right. So I'm interested in. Did was something wrong with your nose or what? Why would a man want to get his nose job? Is it because he had a deviated septum?
Vinny
I did.
Josh
Okay.
Vinny
I did have a deviated septum and also didn't like the shape.
Josh
Really?
Kim
Wow.
Josh
So I asked that because I'm kind of.
Kim
There's no way you would get one.
Josh
I don't know. I'm getting to the point. In my age, I have a deviated septum. I haven't been to the doctor for him to tell me, but I've diagnosed myself. I'm 98.9. Sure. I do.
Vinny
Oh.
Josh
Since I can remember, it's really hard for me to breathe on my left nostril. The right one.
Kim
Exactly. Is a deviated bro.
Josh
Imagine you're just born with one oil smaller than the other one.
Kim
That's what it is.
Josh
Yeah. And I think I snore when I'm over £190.
Kim
So it's like. Yeah. Weight thing.
Josh
It's a weight thing.
Kim
So it's like your face gets fat.
Josh
Well, my neck gets fatter and then it goes like this.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
So when I'm skinnier.
Kim
Opens up your nostrils. Have you ever done those little pore strip little things that open up your nostrils?
Josh
Yes, yes, I tried it.
Kim
Does it work?
Vinny
It sometimes. Not really, though. I mean, the best thing is just get the surgery.
Josh
So, bro, tell me, how's the breathing now?
Vinny
I never. Never better.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
Like, way better. I. I thought I had asthma or something. Oh, no way. And now I'm. I'm good.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
So you went to the doctor. You were like that. You're like, can you check my nose? And then they were like, you have a deviated septum.
Vinny
Most people do.
Kim
Oh, really?
Vinny
That's what he said. Yeah, yeah.
Josh
That's what I'm saying. Like, as a man, what was that like? What was the step forward? Me. First of all, I'm scared to go to sleep. Like, put under. Yeah. I'm. I'm like. I don't know. Like, I'm just super. Like, that's my phobia. So, like, it's really hard for me.
Vinny
Yeah. The experience was my.
Josh
Not even a chokehold.
Vinny
A little traumatic, I'm not gonna lie. We went to the same doctor. I had trust in them. It was in Mexico.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
And it was when we were a little bit more down bad, so it was kind of cheaper.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
But we. I trusted him. You know, he's. He's a doctor.
Kim
So.
Josh
Yeah, I had a white coat on.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
He seemed legit. But we pulled gloves. Yeah. And the nurse could not find my vein.
Kim
Oh, shit.
Vinny
Put the anesthesia.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
She kept poking, poking, poking. Wouldn't get it. Tried up here. Wouldn't get it. And I went pale. My blood pressure dropped. I almost passed out. And I had it sitting there for maybe like five, six hours because you can't get.
Josh
Oh, before they do it again.
Vinny
Before they do it again. Because you can't get anesthesia.
Josh
Oh my gosh.
Vinny
Could be deadly.
Josh
You see, now I'm there.
Kim
Holy. And that was making your blood pressure go up even higher?
Vinny
Yeah, I was in there like, this is my time.
Josh
So my. And then my. The second thing is, is, you know, I. I'm okay with the way I look. I think I'm pretty handsome guy.
Kim
Handsome devil.
Josh
Right, so. And I'm sure you were a super handsome guy too.
Kim
Still are.
Josh
But did you ever think, what am I gonna really look like now?
Vinny
Yeah, I did.
Kim
Right?
Josh
Isn't that like one of the top things that you think about? And especially for you too.
Kim
Right.
Ryan
It's like in the center of your face.
Josh
Yeah. It's your nose. You know, I was scared to look.
Vinny
Like a Whoville character. Like.
Kim
Yeah. Like a little pointy.
Josh
Yeah. I know how that feels like.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
I was Sandy Lou who for Christmas. Yeah.
Kim
I was the Grinch.
Josh
Yeah. So. Yeah. No, but that's one of my fears is like, what about if I don't like the way I look? You know? So that's a. That's like a big risk to take.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
But no, you guys look great. What about. Did you ever think like, oh, shit, like you look way different now?
Kim
Yeah.
Ryan
Did you? I think it takes time also for your nose to set on. The first year you just like feel weird and look off. But then after that, it's just like it feels like it's always been you.
Vinny
After. I don't even remember what we look like.
Kim
No way.
Vinny
Unless we look at pictures. Like.
Kim
Yeah.
Ryan
I feel like we did it pretty young. We were like 22. I feel like maybe we should have waited a little, found a better doctor, but still went okay.
Kim
But I mean, it was good, right? Like. Okay.
Josh
Yeah.
Ryan
And we trusted him because of our family. Like they had gone before to him too. So.
Josh
Really? Wow. So then they finally put you to sleep. How does that feel? Like, like those.
Vinny
The crazy thing is, cuz you can feel the pressure while they're doing the. While they're doing it, but you're Wait, what? Yeah, like, I. Maybe they didn't put you all the way. Yeah, all the way. And I woke up a little bit and I saw, like, them hitting my nose.
Kim
They break it.
Vinny
They break it. Yeah, they have. They have to break it, push it, basically together. Yeah.
Kim
That's crazy.
Ryan
He's like, I'm never getting for sure.
Vinny
If you see how they do it, you're probably not gonna.
Kim
Yeah. Did you see how they did it?
Josh
No, I've seen. I've seen how they do it. I've seen how they, like, lift. They lift your face up like this.
Vinny
Yeah, it's crazy.
Kim
Oh, my.
Josh
And you're like. You're like this for a couple hours and they just do their thing and.
Vinny
The recovery is kind of.
Josh
Did you post a video on YouTube?
Vinny
We did.
Ryan
No, we didn't.
Vinny
We didn't even do YouTube. We should have, but yeah, we didn't. Yeah.
Josh
Damn.
Kim
I actually think it might be better to do it young because I feel like doing it now, like 35, bro. Almost pushing 40, like, you're gonna be in so much more pain, bro. I feel like the recovery is gonna be different, you know, like at 22, you snap back into it. Like, you're good. They don't even remember. They don't even remember.
Josh
Do you guys think he's funny? You guys, what he just said was funny. Wasn't funny, huh? Oh, my gosh. Off topic. Okay, so 26 years old, living the dream right now, right?
Kim
Full time social media.
Vinny
Full time right now.
Kim
That's amazing.
Ryan
As of last year.
Josh
Okay, so I. I kind of. I got a sense that you guys were. When someone says, we study tech, what does that mean? Huh?
Vinny
Well, I didn't study tech. I graduated with my business management degree.
Ryan
And I graduated with marketing.
Josh
Okay, yeah, but you just said something about tech, right?
Ryan
Yeah, we both.
Kim
They got into tech.
Josh
Oh, got into tech. What does that mean?
Vinny
Yeah, so I was in tech sales. So I was an inside account executive for a company.
Kim
Oh, I can see that.
Josh
Okay.
Kim
I can see that.
Vinny
It's like basically sales selling technology to companies.
Josh
Oh, wow.
Kim
Well, can you say what kind of technology it was?
Vinny
Yeah, like, anything from like laptops to like crowdstrike, if you know, like, is that like software?
Josh
Yes, programs.
Vinny
Yeah, yeah, for companies.
Kim
Wow.
Vinny
So, like, you don't get hacked. Yeah, stuff for their databases.
Josh
Oh, wow.
Vinny
Networking.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
WI fi, everything.
Josh
That's it. So who had to learn how to use the camera first?
Ryan
Me.
Vinny
Yeah, she was. She.
Josh
Oh, because you already had somewhat of a following, right? You said.
Ryan
But I'VE always loved, like, recording myself. Even I have, like, videos when I was 12 years old on YouTube. They're hidden.
Josh
No way.
Ryan
You'll never be able to find them. But I would, like, just record myself with my friends and then you would upload them. Yeah.
Kim
At 12, that's crazy.
Ryan
And I would, like, even upload on Facebook and, like, my whole family would think it was funny. So, like, I've always loved, like, just posting online.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Wow.
Kim
What were you doing? Like, just, like, little, like, sketches or, like, making eggs.
Ryan
And then I would just, like, mess completely.
Kim
Yeah. Yeah.
Josh
Basically. How is it being in a relationship? And, like, I know because I. My wife, she. She's a beauty creator. But do you guys ever get to a. Because I'll be real with you. When I was doing stuff with my wife, it. It was amazing. We did a good time, but it started getting to a point where it was, like, too much work. Like, we were, like, work partners, you know? And then I kind of had to, like, step away for a little bit because it's kind of like all we talk about is work. And it's no more. Kind of like us. Yeah. No more sexy time. No, it's always sexy. You know what I mean? Right. Like, like, instead of, like, yeah, we'll like, stay up night and do this vlog, you know, blah, blah, which is great. It's cool. It's like, now looking back at it, it's like, what a great journey, right?
Ryan
Yeah.
Josh
It was no more like, want to go to yard house? Want to go to, like, you know, PF Chang.
Kim
Everything was content. Like, everything.
Josh
Yeah, it started to, like, really, like. It was just a lot sometimes, you know. So do you guys have. Have you guys found a balance yet? Or you guys just really going full force with, like, it? We just. Let's just do work, work, work.
Ryan
Our life is just social media. I'm just kidding. Yeah.
Josh
No sexy time.
Ryan
Absolutely not. But I think we, like, find a good balance and we talk about it a lot because we do find ourselves, like. Like, just fully indulged in, like, okay, what are we gonna do today? Okay, we can do this for content.
Kim
Yeah.
Ryan
But we have to, like, separate. Like, okay, maybe we should take time for ourselves and, like, step away from the content because it could get, like, very overwhelming at times, I think.
Vinny
Yeah. I think at the beginning, for sure, we were getting overwhelmed because we were getting pulled a million different ways. Didn't know what to do. We had no structure. Yeah. I'm coming from working full time and then corporate side. Yeah. Corporate job.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
To now social media time. So.
Josh
Wow. I love that.
Kim
And you guys have, like, a manager now and all that.
Vinny
Like, wow.
Kim
Are you guys, like, on a schedule with, like, posting and stuff? Like with your YouTube and stuff?
Vinny
Yeah, we're. We're trying to do two a week.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
Yeah. On YouTube now.
Kim
Oh, two a week. Wow. You guys have an editor or you.
Ryan
Guys have one so far?
Vinny
Yeah, one right now. But yeah, we do have an editor.
Kim
Okay.
Vinny
A couple editors now, that was the.
Kim
Thing that kind of took me out a little bit. It was just like the editing. The editing can become very, like, tedious.
Ryan
It takes so much time and.
Kim
Takes so much time. Yeah, yeah.
Josh
One thing that I realized, well, we especially. And I think every content creators, you know, we're scared to kind of give raw footage to somebody, you know, But I think you should definitely invest in that first. You'll never find somebody who's going to put as much love into a video because that's what the scary part two is. Right. But I think along the path of having an editor is you showing them the way that you do it, you know? I don't think you ever find somebody that'll do it immediately the way you want. It's time will, you know.
Kim
Crazy when, like, AI gets so advanced where you could almost just like, link your YouTube channel so they see how you edit and then you just dump footage in and then edits a video. Like, similar. Like how you would upload.
Josh
I can't wait.
Vinny
I can't wait.
Kim
It's going to be insane. Yeah.
Josh
Matt, you're gone, bro.
Kim
See you later. Matt, you're gone. My G. Matt's like, what?
Josh
No. Let's go on a quick break. Okay.
Kim
Let's go on a quick break real quick.
Josh
We'll be right back.
Kim
Some fun games that we're gonna play.
Josh
Yeah, we got some questions. Jess, got some really good questions for you guys, too, so we'll do that.
Kim
That's the evil smile. So you guys are done for.
Josh
We'll be right back.
Kim
Let's do it.
Josh
Cool.
Kim
We're doing who's more likely to.
Josh
Oh.
Kim
You ready?
Josh
Yeah. You want to go first?
Kim
Yeah. All right, guys, we're about to get into it. You guys ready?
Ryan
Ready.
Kim
This is. This is. This game is going to test your guys's relationship publicly.
Vinny
All right, well, pressure.
Kim
Pressure's on. See how madly you guys are in love with each other.
Josh
Seventh grade, bro.
Kim
Seventh grade. I feel like you guys should know all these.
Ryan
Okay.
Kim
Okay. The game is called who's More likely to Starting with who's more likely to be snacking late at night?
Vinny
For sure. 100%.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
I'll catch you in the pantry. Snacking away. Cookies.
Josh
Oh, cookies.
Ryan
I'm a big sweets person. Yeah, we were saying the bakery, everything sweet.
Josh
No way. Yeah. Are you savory kind of guy? Are you sweets too?
Vinny
I like sour. Is that weird?
Kim
No, no, no.
Josh
I like sour too.
Vinny
Yeah, Sour Patch sour anything.
Kim
Oh, but okay, but like, that candy you still like, will gravitate more.
Ryan
I feel like you're also more locked in, in the gym, so, like, you know when to stop your sweets, but I'm like, no control.
Kim
Yeah, all the sweets.
Josh
Do you, do you like the regular Chips Ahoy or the chewy ones?
Ryan
Both.
Josh
Honestly saying, I like the chewy ones. I need, I need milk, though. Like, anything that has to do with cookies, cake, pastries. I need a bus.
Ryan
I love milk.
Josh
Milk with yellow inside, you know?
Kim
You know what's been my thing lately. I haven't really done it, but, like, croissants with coffee.
Josh
Oh, my gosh. We'll get it.
Kim
Why is that, like, absolutely delicious right there?
Ryan
You need to go to Porto's after this.
Josh
Yeah, I know, right? All right, who's more likely to stay up all night? Scrolling again, for sure.
Vinny
Damn.
Josh
Two for two.
Vinny
Yeah. I'll wake up four in the morning. She's still awake.
Josh
Wow, four in the morning. You haven't gone to sleep.
Ryan
I have a really bad sleeping schedule.
Josh
Really?
Kim
Are you just on Tik Tok? Just? Dude, Tik Tok is so bad. I can get stuck on it too.
Ryan
When it got banned for a night, I think that's the first night I slept early.
Josh
Do you know about the triple click on the iPhone and it makes your screen red.
Kim
You have to set that up, though.
Josh
Yeah, you have to set that up. But it's really good. So, like, if you're scrolling because I, I used to scroll a lot at night. You just triple click the side thing and your phone turns red and the red signal, it seeps into your cornea, and it allows the chemicals and molecules in the nucleus in your brain to knock you out faster.
Ryan
Really?
Josh
Yeah, it's science stuff.
Ryan
Wait, so do you do this every single night?
Josh
You're just like, every single night? Triple click, I'll do a salute. Come and sleep.
Kim
I, I, I do the. I have the triple red too, because you put me on it and it's so annoying. It's so stupid. I'm like, this is dumb.
Vinny
It doesn't work.
Kim
Science is stupid.
Josh
It does it might as well just get off.
Kim
It just doesn't look the same, bro. Like, you lose all the color resolution.
Ryan
I think that's the point, right?
Josh
Like you.
Kim
That's what. That's the whole point. But I get frustrated. I'm like, I can't enjoy. I love tick tock and takes it away. Takes the joy away.
Josh
Do you know he has an iPad that he watches YouTube videos on and it has that little kid silicone in the back. So if he drops it. If he drops it, he's an iPad 40 year old kid.
Kim
No, I really am. No, for sure. For sure am. Okay. Who's more likely to be more indecisive about what they eat?
Vinny
I think also you.
Ryan
I think you.
Vinny
Really? Yeah, I think I eat whatever.
Ryan
That's not true.
Vinny
You're so if I ask right now, who's picky?
Josh
He's picky.
Ryan
Yeah.
Kim
You're a picky eater.
Vinny
Yeah, I tend to be. No pickles, no onions, no tomatoes.
Kim
That's what I was going to ask. Those are the three foods you already.
Josh
Doing so good at. My heart right now.
Kim
We were starting to like you, bro.
Josh
No pickles, no tomato.
Vinny
No. Can't do it at all. Maybe.
Kim
Oh, my God, bro.
Ryan
We go to Mexico and he's like, taco, just bear.
Vinny
Af. Just cilantro. I like cilantro.
Josh
That's even worse. Bear. And then cilantro.
Vinny
Salsa. That's good.
Josh
Okay. Salsa's fine. Yeah. Vinny.
Vinny
I'm sorry.
Kim
So like on a hamburger, you just do a cheeseburger.
Vinny
Cheeseburger.
Kim
Wow.
Josh
What's your favorite food then, Vinny?
Vinny
Cheeseburger.
Kim
So in and out, you just get the cheeseburger. You do no onions, no tomato, no lettuce.
Josh
You like mushrooms? Lettuce.
Vinny
Sometimes if I'm feeling it.
Ryan
Mushrooms.
Josh
Mushrooms.
Vinny
No.
Kim
Oh, who.
Vinny
I didn't do mushrooms.
Josh
But so not even onions.
Ryan
Like, since I'll be cooking. And then it has like onions in it. He's like, I'm not gonna like that. I'm not gonna.
Kim
And then, dude, you like, don't like it at all. Like, there's like, no, like, oh, I.
Vinny
Can'T do maybe grilled. Okay, maybe grilled. But if it's like hidden in there.
Kim
And like, have you always been like that? Like, have you?
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
Wow.
Josh
Really?
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
I wonder if your palate would change if you. When you get older. Are you. Are you still willing to give it a try? Like, would you like, try tomatoes again?
Vinny
I would try, yeah. Okay.
Josh
Maybe.
Kim
Wait, maybe. Wait, you're still 26. Maybe I like, okay, here's the.
Josh
Here's what we call the kicker.
Ryan
Does it change?
Josh
What?
Kim
Yeah, your palate changes.
Ryan
Oh, really?
Kim
For sure.
Josh
What, at 35 years old?
Kim
No, just throughout life.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
No.
Josh
Okay, here's. I have to know this chile.
Vinny
Yeah, for sure. 100 Valentina. Yeah.
Josh
Okay. So you're good. Oh, thank you.
Vinny
Yeah. Just. No, no, pick one.
Kim
You know, are you willing to be adventurous? Like, would you eat escargot?
Josh
No, no, I've tried them.
Kim
Not a fan.
Josh
Oysters?
Kim
No, Sushi.
Vinny
Sushi, yeah.
Josh
Okay.
Kim
Yeah, like sashimi and stuff.
Vinny
Yeah, but I can't do oysters. Yeah, I guess I kind of get that.
Josh
Yeah, but I get that. I get that. I get that. And you eat everything.
Ryan
Everything.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
Cool.
Josh
What's your favorite restaurant then? Geez, I'm so intrigued.
Vinny
Like, Texas Roadhouse.
Kim
Texas Roadhouse is pretty good, though, bro. Texas is pretty good.
Josh
Hey, that fine. That they give you in the beginning.
Kim
With that butter, bro. Insane.
Josh
Yeah, that Fire inspired.
Kim
Insane. Okay.
Ryan
I think that's really, like, asked to go.
Kim
Yeah. They also have, like, those shrimp things. The shrimp things are really good. Yeah, the. You like? Do you like it?
Vinny
Yeah, shrimp for sure. Yeah.
Josh
Who's more likely to run when they see a bug? Okay, I get that.
Kim
Who's more likely to run out of battery on their phone?
Vinny
Me.
Ryan
Never have charged.
Vinny
I can't. If I don't charge it at night, it's gonna die. Like, I'm not good at charging it.
Kim
Yeah, yeah.
Josh
You gotta get that little magnet that's at the Apple Store.
Vinny
I hate how heavy it is.
Kim
I know. It's kind of annoying.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
Who's more likely to cry during a movie?
Vinny
Yeah, yeah. She's emotional.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
Do you cry, like, on Tick tocks? Have you.
Ryan
Like, all the time. And then I'm, like, laughing the next day, I'm saying.
Vinny
And then I'm like, yeah, they can't be good for you.
Kim
They cannot be good.
Josh
Do you guys watch rom coms together?
Ryan
No, he doesn't. Like.
Vinny
I don't have. We watched the Notebook.
Josh
Yeah.
Ryan
Yeah.
Vinny
Like those classics.
Kim
The Proposal with Ryan Reynolds.
Ryan
I think I watched that by myself.
Josh
Oh, my God.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
All right, next. Josh. Oh, this is. How well do you know your partner?
Kim
No, no, no, there's more. There's more of the. Oh, wait, isn't. Wasn't there too. Jess.
Josh
No, that was it for that one.
Kim
Okay, gotcha.
Josh
So how well do you know your partner? H. I think they know each other pretty well.
Vinny
Yep.
Josh
They've known each other since he was, like, 12.
Vinny
More than half my life now.
Josh
So his voice changed when you. When. Like later in life. Right. Dan, you really been with them for a long time.
Ryan
Grow up, basically. That's crazy.
Josh
You watch them have perfect attendance in middle school and.
Vinny
I did. I. You did.
Josh
Really?
Vinny
You missed a couple. I. I remember.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
I did.
Josh
All right. When is each other's birthday? Easy.
Ryan
October 14th.
Vinny
December 2nd.
Josh
Okay.
Kim
Imagine I hit that biggest phobia.
Ryan
That's a good one.
Josh
Obviously. Pickles, tomatoes.
Kim
Food. Food in general.
Vinny
Any ingredients you can go for first. Let me see. Let me test you.
Ryan
Your biggest phobia.
Vinny
What am I scared of?
Josh
Yeah. What is he scared of?
Ryan
You can go first.
Kim
Is it tight spaces?
Vinny
No, not really. Claustrophobic? No. Yours is probably dying. Oh, just any kind of death. Burning alive.
Ryan
Yeah.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
I think that's phobia.
Kim
Burning alive is crazy.
Vinny
I'm just fearless.
Kim
What a man.
Ryan
Wait, what's your phobia?
Vinny
Probably speaking.
Kim
Public speaking.
Ryan
Okay.
Josh
Really?
Vinny
Yeah. Try to get over it. This helps.
Josh
Yeah, yeah. You're doing great.
Vinny
Thank you. I'm underneath.
Kim
I'm like, really? You know, I think that I read somewhere, it was like, more people are scared of public speaking than they are of death. Like, that's. It's more of a fear than. Than death. Where the.
Josh
Did you read that?
Kim
Google. Google.
Josh
Who would even write that article?
Kim
Because people were, like. They did, like, a survey on, like, what people are, like, scared of, and majority of the answer were public speaking over death.
Josh
You're not scared of public speaking? What are you scared of?
Vinny
Yeah, what are y'all?
Kim
Airplanes. I'm scared of flying. Yeah. I get really bad anxiety, and I used. That's a new thing for me. Like, I. I was never scared of airplanes.
Ryan
With everything that happened.
Kim
I don't know. No, it's like, I probably started, like, seven years ago.
Josh
Okay, wait, what happened?
Kim
No, she's saying with all the incidents that are happening and stuff like that.
Josh
Oh, yeah. Recently.
Kim
That definitely doesn't help. Yeah. I think as I've gotten older, I've become more of a control freak.
Josh
Yeah, that's what it is.
Kim
When I'm flying, my life is not in my control.
Josh
Yeah, Josh, you're scared of me not having control.
Kim
Big time. Big time.
Josh
I'm the. I'm the same. I'm the same thing. I'm the same way. I hate not having control. So I recently was with my family in Guadalajara. Right?
Kim
Yeah. America's fierce public speaking heights.
Josh
One thing that I don't like is not having control. So when I go to Mexico. And I'm sure you guys can relate. I'm kind of like, in my cousin's time, you know? When are you going to pick me up? My sisters are there, my mom's there. They're getting ready. When are they going to get ready so we can go to the restaurant? When is. My other cousin's going to come so we can all gather up and go. So there's a lot of waiting, you know, for others. And I realized that I. I'm not used to that anymore, like, growing up. Not used to. I'm used to my own time. I'm going to this. Or at least my wife. Yeah, right. It's just I'm. I'm relying on my wife. When is she ready? But when it's a lot of people, it almost gives me anxiety.
Kim
Yeah, I can get that.
Vinny
Do y'all argue over that?
Josh
Who, me and Josh?
Kim
I'm being dead serious. We've never been in a fight.
Vinny
Oh, really?
Kim
Yeah. Never been in a fight. Like a genuine, like, argument. Yeah. Like, we. We've had disagreements.
Josh
Not really, but a lot of the.
Kim
Stuff that we do, and we've talked about this, like, on the podcast. This. We do a lot of bits, like, in between, like, in the podcast. Like, we're, like, bicker at each other, call each other out and stuff. But it's really just. We're podcasting. It's just part of the. In the moment, you know, because outside of that, like, we don't argue.
Josh
No, we never argue. Even since. Even before the podcast. I've known him for a long time. We've never argued ever. Just kiss.
Kim
Yeah, all we do is kiss. Just. Just sweet, sweet love. So you were talking about you're afraid of dying. So for me, it's like, I'm not afraid of, like, death itself. I'm scared of, like, how I'm going to die.
Ryan
Okay.
Kim
That. That whole experience of, like, that. Those last moments of life, that is what I'm so fearful of. Like, that I'm dead. You know, I actually kind of curious, like, what's on the other side?
Josh
Don't be curious about that.
Kim
Not like. Not in a dark way. Like, I'm just, like. I think about it, you know? But that doesn't scare me when I think about it. But it's like on airplanes. Like, imagine dying on airplane. Like, I'm gonna experience death potentially for minutes, knowing that my life is gonna be over. That is scary.
Ryan
Yeah.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
That's what scares me.
Ryan
I think listening to crime, like, podcasts and stuff have definitely not helped.
Josh
Oh, my God.
Ryan
I just think of every single way that possibility, like, I'm out and I'm like, this happened.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
My wife listens to Crash. She had to stop.
Vinny
Yeah, we listen to them every road trip.
Kim
No way. That's what you guys put on.
Vinny
That's what we put on, Crime junkie. Yeah.
Ryan
And I'm paranoid every single time we go out.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Really? Yeah. Yeah.
Kim
Psychologically for sure. Even like when I watch like weird things before I go to bed. Like, I always have nightmares.
Josh
Always.
Kim
It's like without a fail.
Josh
Yeah. Have you seen the movie Terrifier?
Vinny
We tend to not watch scary movies, so smart, bro.
Kim
Yeah. Because. Yeah.
Josh
You've never seen Terrifier?
Kim
I don't watch horror movies, bro. I think the last horror movie I ever watched was the Ring and I was forced to watch it.
Ryan
You like scary movies?
Josh
I like scary movies, yeah. I like to get scared. I think it's an artist to. To scare people, you know what I mean? Like, I look at it that way, like behind the lens type of vibe where I'm just kind of like scare me and I do get scared.
Ryan
Yeah.
Kim
Damn.
Ryan
You don't have nightmares at night and like.
Josh
Yeah, I have nightmares all the time. Especially when you do like melatonin.
Ryan
Yeah, bro, I've heard that.
Kim
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Have you guys share the saluth asleep? No. Okay.
Josh
That one actually doesn't give you very relaxing.
Kim
It's very relaxing.
Josh
Yeah. But I have taken some other ones. Like, there's one that my wife gave me. It was called. It's called Let me sleep.
Kim
Oh, let me, let me. Yeah, it's one of the Kardashians.
Josh
Yeah, yeah.
Kim
So they actually have a really good brand.
Josh
Yeah. And I've taken those gummies. Have you taken them before?
Ryan
Yeah, I have.
Josh
You have.
Ryan
You're like knocked out.
Josh
So the next day you don't take any sleep.
Vinny
Stephanie, I do not. Let me sleep.
Josh
Oh, dude, try them. I just, I don't. Trust me. My phobia is to like get put under. Right. So like, why would I take something that makes me fall asleep?
Kim
He doesn't even like taking like Tylenol and stuff like that. Like, like super against.
Josh
I'm super scared of like man made drugs.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
So you don't take any? If you're sick, you don't take anything?
Josh
No, I just kind of like, I do a lot of earthing.
Ryan
Okay.
Josh
So like I just go in my backyard and I go on my artificial grass and I just put my toes.
Ryan
Grip the grass, pull it Out.
Josh
Yeah, well, you can't. It's. It's fake. It's turf.
Vinny
Yeah, that's true.
Josh
So it's not really.
Kim
So it's not really earthly.
Josh
You know, I tried doing. No, but being that I was just joking. But yeah, I don't, I don't. I. I really believe that the human body heals itself.
Ryan
Yeah.
Josh
And I feel that sometimes. Don't take. Nobody take my advice. I'm not. I know there's science and, and, and yeah. And do. In medicine and I believe in that as well. But for me, I feel like for me, if I do take medicine, I rely on it, then my body relies on medicine and then I don't feel. I don't feel. I don't heal naturally. Yeah, yeah.
Ryan
That's what I've kind of told him before. When I get cramps, I like don't take anything cuz I want to see like how strong I can like handle it, you know?
Josh
Really.
Ryan
But the only thing I will take is melatonin though.
Kim
I'm like, yeah, yeah. I think I told every night.
Josh
I.
Kim
Every night.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
And we're trying to get her sleep schedule like we said earlier on Check. So you got to.
Josh
Yeah, you got. That's very important. You got to go to sleep.
Kim
Have you tried like meditating?
Ryan
No, I haven't.
Kim
Or like staying off your phone for like an hour before bed and stuff? Like all those things on paper, like you're like. That makes sense. That'll probably work, bro.
Josh
You can't get off your phone though, when you're popping though, huh?
Vinny
You got to.
Kim
You got to check them likes.
Ryan
That's my issue. Like fomo. Like I feel like I'm missing out on something.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Really, isn't it? I was thinking I'm kind of the.
Kim
Same way you say that. Yeah.
Josh
I was thinking about this the other day. Isn't it crazy? Like us humans, we have to turn off our bodies.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
After 12 hours.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Like you are like 15 to 12 or I don't know, depending on the human. You gotta just kind of die for a little bit and then wait like a little bit. We are. Yeah, it is.
Kim
You gotta charge.
Josh
I mean, we're aliens to other people and other planets, aren't we?
Kim
Yep.
Josh
Right?
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Yeah. But isn't that crazy how we just kind of die for a little bit?
Kim
Spookiest eyes ever. Jesus Christ.
Josh
Yeah, I was thinking about that the other day. I'm like, ah, we're some very interesting species.
Kim
We are, bro. Even like, we're like babies coming out of us, like, or women. That's insane. Like they're. A baby grows inside of another human. That's crazy.
Ryan
I can't wrap my head around it.
Kim
That's wild.
Josh
Yeah, but. Yeah, definitely. When I do the. Let me. The let me sleeps.
Kim
What are they called?
Josh
Vivid dreams. Vivid.
Kim
That's interesting.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
You do two.
Josh
No, I'm scared.
Kim
You just do one.
Josh
I do one. And honestly, I just really started to, like, take them every once in a while because I run really early in the morning or I cycle. So I have. The problem that you have is I can't go to sleep. I love watching TV at night because I feel like that helps me go to sleep. Cuz that. And just like, you know, I knock out. So I started to, to. To kind of take these supplements so I can be able to go to sleep at least by 10:00. Right. And because I got to wake up at five. So if I wake up early, then, you know, I have a productive day.
Ryan
Yeah.
Josh
But if I don't take those gummies. But once again, you see how now I'm relying on something.
Vinny
Yeah. I don't like taking them all the time either. I try to, like, get off.
Kim
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I do. You feel like you have an addictive personality though?
Josh
Yes.
Kim
Yeah. Okay.
Josh
And I feel like if I, if, if I like something, I'm gonna continue to do it.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
And that's sometimes the thing that. Why I get scared as well on like, doing stuff. Like, even when, like a long time ago, I used to smoke a lot of weed and I just spoke a lot.
Vinny
Overdid it.
Josh
I overdid it because I want to be like, super high. Yeah.
Vinny
Have y'all gotten tattoos? Yeah.
Kim
Oh, yeah.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
This guy's tatted up.
Vinny
Oh, for real? Is looky addicting?
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
Tattoos?
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
Oh, yeah. And you got like, once you got one, you wanted to get more. It really is. I, I probably got like three tattoos and I didn't feel that, like, urge to get more.
Josh
But like in the last year, he's.
Kim
Like, but now the fourth one, I'm like, okay, now, now it's kind of like I'm starting.
Josh
Would you consider yourself hashtag blasted, hashtag.
Kim
Inked up from the feet up?
Vinny
Nah, I don't think I have enough.
Kim
But like, you don't have it on your arms?
Vinny
No, she doesn't like it.
Kim
I was gonna say, I was like, I don't think I've noticed that you had like on your videos.
Vinny
It's on my leg and on my torso.
Josh
Oh, really?
Kim
Like, big pieces or are you, like, those patchwork?
Vinny
It's patchwork.
Kim
Okay.
Vinny
Yeah. I have a pretty big one right here and on my leg.
Kim
Same artist or same style?
Vinny
All different. Oh, kind of similar styles.
Josh
Same. And you don't have any tattoos?
Ryan
No, not at all. Yeah, the one that you have right here is kind of funny.
Kim
What is it?
Ryan
You want to explain that to them?
Kim
What, was that your first one?
Ryan
No, it's like. It's a really big one, but he did it for his dad, which is really sweet. It's a va, right?
Vinny
Yeah.
Ryan
But every time, like, people see it on Tik Tok, they're like, why does he have the logo?
Vinny
Ralph Lauren polo.
Josh
That's kind of sick.
Kim
That is kind of sick. Is it big?
Vinny
It's pretty big.
Kim
Did it hurt right there?
Vinny
It was like, four hours, and I just sat through four hours.
Josh
Oh, man.
Kim
Dude. I haven't experienced a painful tattoo. They're not super comfortable. I'm not like, this is nothing, but I'm not like, ah, excruciating pain. I haven't got. But I've only got on my legs here. Yeah. Little arms, nothing everywhere.
Josh
Yeah, I would consider it. Yeah.
Vinny
Are you Hashtag?
Josh
He is. I would say I'm Hashtag, you're baby blasted. I would say hashtag. I would just put, like, on my selfie. Like, hashtag men with tattoo.
Ryan
Okay.
Josh
Hashtag tatted. Tatted. That's it. Hashtag tatted. You know your hashtag. First one.
Kim
Yeah, yeah.
Vinny
Do they all mean something or somebody?
Kim
No, dude.
Josh
Maybe one. Maybe the only one that means something. Something to me as I got, like, my every. Everybody on my family, like, their first letter of their name here, you know, And I got it, like, you see, other than that. Oh, this one means a lot to me. This really doesn't mean anything, but right here, Tangola Plaza. The Atlan, where my mom was from, you know, like the Kiosko. Yeah. So that's really. Other than that. I mean, White Ranger. You know what I mean? Like, a scorpion that has, like, a. Like, a chain. Oh, this kind of means something. I love cycling. So, like, his tail is a bike chain. I don't know if you see that. Oh, and this means something too. This is one of my cars that I built. It's E36M3.
Vinny
There you go.
Josh
So, yeah, it means something, but it doesn't mean, like, you know, like, it's not that deep. No, it's not that deep. I don't. I. None of my. See, look, I got Dodgers right Here. Just like that, you know.
Vinny
You like baseball?
Josh
I love baseball, bro.
Vinny
Oh, cool. Cool.
Josh
Yeah. You love baseball?
Vinny
Yeah, I actually played baseball up. I played in college.
Josh
Oh, please, please. Let us take you guys out to a Dodger game. La platica.
Kim
Have you guys been to a Dodger game? No. Oh.
Vinny
Or I am.
Josh
I love the Braves, though. And, like, when the Dodgers play the Braves, it's always a good game. I love the Braves, man. Please, whenever you guys come, we would love to invite you guys to a Dodge game. Yeah. Maybe not get the tickets, but, like a hot dog or something. Yeah. No, no VIP experience.
Vinny
Okay.
Josh
He knows a lot. He knows somebody that I've never met, works at Dodger Stadium. You know, I'm talking, like, sweet and everything. It's real nice. You know me, Mookie Bats and, you know, Ohtani. Just kidding. But, yeah. So I forgot where we were going.
Kim
We're gonna do the girly pop.
Josh
Oh, my God. Yeah. That's what I've been waiting for, dude.
Kim
I. Sorry, I'm going backwards here, but I just really wanted to ask because I was, like, very intrigued by what you're saying, like, your fear of, like, public speaking. What is it about public speaking that you're scared? I know we're going way back, but I won an asset, and I didn't get a chance to.
Vinny
I think because you're, like.
Kim
You're on social media, you come across, like, very confident, you carry yourself very well, you're well spoken, you're educated, you have all the tools. Where's the fear?
Vinny
I think it just comes from where I. Like, how I grew up. I just grew up as a really shy kid.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
Yeah. Just terrified of the world.
Kim
So is it, like, judgment? Like, do you feel like you are gonna. Like, how they're gonna perceive you?
Vinny
I've done maybe, like, two public speeches where I just tank them.
Josh
Did you.
Kim
And you rehearse and you were prepared and everything.
Vinny
Yeah. Like, for school.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
Tank them.
Josh
Wow.
Vinny
It's just, like, something in my mind that just, like.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
You have to, like, get out of that mindset.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
So even though you're online and millions of people have seen you.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
That you're. That's like. You're like. That's what I do.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
That's so interesting.
Vinny
I know. It's kind of like a mind.
Josh
Yeah, it is.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
You almost, like, are you willing to, like, put yourself more in those situations to, like, grow?
Vinny
Yeah, I have to now.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
Like, I'm trying to find opportunities to do.
Kim
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Interesting.
Josh
Especially I feel like in the field that I guess we're all in. There's so much networking, so much meeting people, talking to people, finding new ways to have, like, great opportunities. Right. You're really good at that.
Kim
But I had to become that because I. I wasn't like that, too, bro. I was pretty shy, like, in high school and stuff. Pretty reserved. And then social media kind of got me out of my shell.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
And then the positions that I've been put in, like, are you. I feel like I've been kind of held to the standard, so I don't feel like I have a choice. Like, I'm like, I got to do it. Kind of force yourself into it. Yeah. But I don't know. That's interesting. Girly pop challenge, huh?
Josh

Kim

You know, I don't say, like, really crazy words, you know, that you'll find in the dictionary. I'm really just a plain Jane. But I think what people just really want to see is it's not what you say. It's just confidence how you say that's what they really care about. You know what I mean?
Kim
That's a really good point. Yeah.
Josh
Thanks, man. Did you mean that?
Kim
No. The quote is, now people don't remember what you say is how you make them feel.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
So it's like almost like when you're, like, talking, it's like the emotion that is being portrayed versus, like, really breaking down everything you're saying. Yeah. Are you. Are you nervous about public speaking?
Ryan
I feel like I'm not. Yeah. I do say that. I get nervous and I'm like, pretty shy, but when I'm talking to people, I feel like just start yapping. Yeah, it just comes out.
Josh
No, it's. It's been about, like four years for me, I think, even, like when the start of the podcast. But, like, I always make it a point to, like, always look at people in the eye when I talk to them.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Remembering your. Their names goes a long way.
Kim
Yeah, dude, it's huge.
Josh
I was just on a trip recently, and the waiter, I met him, even to this day, his name was Neil, you know, and I remember, and I would keep telling myself, because I always remember I suck at remembering names. I do. And I said, neil, Neil, Neil, Neil, Neil. The whole. All day and the next day I saw him and I was like, what's up, Neil? He goes, oh, you remember my name? You know, and like, just a little thing.
Vinny
Just like, it's just.
Josh
I knew that it just like there was a connection there. And then like, that. Now that's my boy, Neil. You know what I mean? Like, and then now, like, he was the. The meseto. So, like, he would just hook me up now just like those little things. You know what I mean? Like, everybody, I was just in a Marisco spot recently, and the guy, Le chos pores of Mero, you know, because he was great. And I said, dude, what's your. Like, I asked people's names. What's your name, dude? Sayo. And then there's this Marisco spot in Guadalajara, and if you guys don't know, you guys should visit. It's called Mariscos Don Bergas. Right. So then he gave me his name. And then on the contact, I put, look, I put your name down as Paco Vergas. And he loved it. And like, now whenever anybody wants to go, like, there's a table for you. And he told me, he goes, I'll hook you up next time. You don't gotta wait in this line. Come.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
And that's why, like, I feel like now I'm really good at, like, meeting people. Annoying people. And, like, I know everybody.
Ryan
Yeah.
Vinny
One thing I know, in a previous podcast, you said that you're good at reading people.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
When you initially meet.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
Would you read off us?
Ryan
Oh, that's interesting.
Kim
They just brought on an fi bro.
Josh
Oh, you know, I respect you say that.
Kim
He likes. We do this, like, seven called, like, first impressions.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
And he, like, loves doing them.
Ryan
It's usually spot on.
Kim
Like, yeah, he's pretty good.
Josh
Yeah, I'm pretty good. You know, when I was pitched the Opportunity to, to speak with you guys. I was really excited because what I see in you guys is what I've kind of seen in, in my life, you know, prior with my wife as well. And I just see a lot of joy with you guys. I did know. I kind of felt that you guys have been with each other for a long ass time. And then when you said seventh grade, I was like, I knew it.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
You know, maybe not seventh. I was guessing more fourth grade, but it was seven. I was like, I'm a little off. But you know, I feel like you just kind of like what you said. Like, I feel like you're very energetic and you're like a really good friend, but I do feel like you can be a little quiet, you know what I mean? And with you I just feel like kind of like the whole like I eat whatever and then you're like semi picky, I guess. But like I kind of, I kind of knew that already. I kind of knew that like opposites always attract. And now every time I see a really good couple, I always know that you guys are completely different.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
Cuz like me and my wife, she's completely different than me. Wouldn't you say, Joe?
Kim
100%.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
Yeah. But very similar in the same, at the same time.
Josh
Yeah. And I. And I love that because you guys balance each other. And I feel like if you guys were the same, that's kind of boring.
Ryan
Yeah. I feel like a lot of people on especially online think of us as like the exact same person.
Kim
Yeah.
Ryan
But like you said, we have our small differences.
Josh
Yeah.
Ryan
That make us like more.
Josh
Yeah. And I haven't like really like talked to you guys, but I feel like you guys are like really? And I get along with people that go to like to, to Mexico a lot, you know, So I haven't really talked to you guys like on that level. Like, you know, but I feel like you guys are like my cousins too. Like, you know, I feel like once we start talking in Spanish and stuff, I feel like we'll connect even more. You know what I mean? Because I do feel like you guys, there's some people that, you know, are, that go to Mexico a lot and then they just know the, the swag a little bit more. You know, they're a little bit more in tune, they're cultured, they know some words that other people might not. You know what I mean? It just there, there's more flow to it. Yeah.
Ryan
We definitely want to go out to Mexico more. We even thought about living over there For a while.
Kim
Oh, no way.
Ryan
We want to learn more of that slang and, like.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
Because most of the. Most of our family is in Mexico.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
It's just in Mexico, it's a whole different, like, culture. Like, 100 more relaxed. You have family there. Like, everyone's nice.
Kim
Everyone's nicer.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
Yeah. Over there, it's like the main goal is to get together and just kind of community.
Kim
Community is huge.
Josh
Yeah. You and your family just kind of, like, get together and kick. Just eat, you know, drink, play some music, make each other laugh. And I was very blessed to have that on my side of my family, you know? So it's really good. I don't take it for granted. And I feel like you guys kind of share that as well. Yeah, I can. Yeah. Kind of get that. Yeah.
Kim
Love that, bro.
Ryan
That was a good.
Kim
That was reading.
Josh
So.
Vinny
Yeah. What's girly pop?
Josh
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, we are doing the girly pop challenge with somebody different today. With Vinnie instead of us. Do you think he's gonna do better than us?
Kim
Not a chance.
Vinny
I think so.
Josh
I think he might.
Kim
Not a chance.
Vinny
I think I'm in tune with the girly pops.
Josh
Oh, you see?
Kim
So did we, though.
Josh
Yeah. Until we met a real, real girly pop.
Kim
And she.
Josh
She broke us down.
Vinny
Okay. Okay.
Kim
We got exposed.
Josh
Hard. Yeah, we got exposed. So let's start. You ready, Vinny?
Vinny
I'm ready.
Josh
Can she help him or not?
Kim
No, she's all right. But she. She has to be the one to, like, answer what it is.
Vinny
Oh, yeah.
Ryan
What if I'm not even girly?
Josh
You can butt in, though, if you like. Okay.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
So girly pop question number one for Vinnie goes like. Did I say that right?
Kim
No, I was just reading one of the. Oh.
Josh
Where does the sticky side of a pad go, Vinnie? The sticky side of a pad go.
Kim
Tampad tampon. Tampad packs.
Josh
Pad pod on the Tampack squirrels.
Vinny
Where else would it go?
Josh
On the skin.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
Final answer. On the skin. Where does the side of a stick. Where does a sticky side of a pad go? Vinnie's answer is on the skin. I feel like Steve Harvey right now.
Ryan
Sticky part.
Vinny
The sticky part. What's it going to? How would it.
Ryan
It has to stick to your underwear so it doesn't move anymore.
Vinny
Oh, yeah.
Josh
Underwear.
Kim
What part. What part of the skin did you think is.
Josh
Ouch.
Vinny
That seems actually painful. Yeah, it is.
Josh
The sticky side of a pad goes on the underwear.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
Don't act like you know. I know now.
Josh
I know now. I think I said the same thing.
Kim
He did. He did. Okay. I had this one. This one was really funny. All right. Speaking like, staying on the sticky side. Conversation. Can you pee with a tampon in?
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
Final answer, 100.
Vinny
I feel like of. Yeah. Yes.
Josh
She got her poker face.
Kim
Yes, she does. Final answer.
Josh
Final answer.
Vinny
Yeah, you can, Kim.
Ryan
Yeah.
Josh
Oh, you can. I didn't know that you can. How?
Ryan
The string to the side.
Vinny
A little dement.
Josh
I don't know the anatomy of a tampon.
Kim
Correct.
Josh
Oh, I thought. I thought a pad.
Kim
Well, it was.
Josh
Because a pad. You can't. Right?
Kim
No pad.
Josh
Yeah, of course you could with a.
Kim
Pad, too, because it was not in. Yeah, just.
Josh
Oh, my God. That's what the sneaky side is really for, then. Oh, it's like part of your underwear now, basically.
Kim
Yeah, with like, a. Like a cushion. Like a layer of.
Josh
Yeah, it's like my cycling shorts. They have, like, a pad.
Kim
Exactly. That.
Josh
You wear them.
Kim
You wear them all the time.
Josh
Oh, yeah, I know how pads feel like. Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah. Cool. Yeah, got that one right.
Vinny
One for two.
Josh
All right, here we go. Whoa. What does it mean to double cleanse? I think I remember this one. I think I might have got it wrong.
Kim
I think I remember. I don't remember how I answered it.
Vinny
Double cleanse.
Kim
Double cleanse. Kim, do you know?
Ryan
I think I know.
Vinny
Is it, like, face wash stuff? I don't know. I'm stuck.
Kim
What do you think it is? Yeah, you have to guess. Huh?
Vinny
Double cleanse.
Kim
Double cleanse.
Vinny
I'm assuming some kind of face. Double wash your face.
Kim
Double wash your face.
Vinny
Exfoliate and. I don't know, Kim, that sounds right. Yeah.
Josh
Yeah. Don't give him a hard time, bro.
Kim
No, honestly, I wasn't too sure either, but I think that's what I had said, too. I was like, yeah, cleanse and. And. I don't know.
Josh
Good.
Kim
Half a point.
Josh
Half a point. Next question.
Kim
All right. What is a peplum top?
Josh
Real quick, Kim, do you know?
Vinny
Yeah, peplum.
Josh
Peplum top. It's not what you think, man.
Kim
No relation to Peppa the pig.
Josh
I'm.
Vinny
The first thing that comes to my mind is like, a tube top.
Kim
Okay.
Josh
Oh, okay. Damn. Maybe I think you're.
Kim
Is that final answer like a lacy.
Vinny
Yeah, lacy.
Josh
A lacy tube top. Lingerie type. Lingerie type of man. Huh?
Vinny
Is it close?
Josh
I don't know. We're gonna find out right now.
Vinny
Do y'all know?
Kim
We found out when we did this episode.
Josh
A peplum top is like, that one like, tight, bro.
Kim
It's like, tight and then flowing.
Josh
I'm gonna give it to him because he was pretty spot on.
Ryan
Yeah, he was not.
Kim
He was not, bro.
Josh
He said.
Ryan
He said a lacy tube top.
Kim
Yeah, bro.
Josh
Yeah, it goes like. I said something way different, didn't I?
Kim
What'd you say?
Josh
I don't even remember.
Kim
I didn't know that either.
Josh
All right, I got the next one. You ready? This one's good. What's one? Food women can't have when they're pregnant.
Vinny
Oh, seafood. Seafood.
Josh
He's correct.
Vinny
100.
Kim
Yeah. Can you be more specific?
Vinny
Processed meat. Like ham also.
Kim
Oh, I didn't know that. Is that. Is that true? That's true.
Josh
Damn. He got extra credit.
Kim
Can't you process food when you're pregnant?
Josh
Okay, so he got that, right. Yeah, and an extra one, bro.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
I saw this girl on this TV show, and she would have, but she already had her baby and she was breastfeeding and she says she has one beer a day because it helps her with her milk.
Vinny
What a fact.
Josh
I don't know. It was in the movie. There was a TV show. No, but it's. It's because. Because beer has yeast and stuff and, like.
Kim
But I'm pretty sure there's other stuff you can take besides beer to help with that.
Josh
What else? She likes to crack open a nice Coors Light. The baby's like, yeah, yeah. I'm not saying go do that, by the way.
Kim
No, of course not.
Josh
But just.
Kim
That's too risky for me.
Josh
Yeah, that's just too.
Kim
That's too risky.
Josh
So even, like, after the kid's born? Like, after. Not during, obviously.
Kim
Yeah. Either way. Either way. I was also hearing that, like, the first one you're gonna conceive, like, with the diet of the man up until six months, determines how the pregnancy is going to be for the woman. Six months, bro.
Josh
Because that's what your sperm will have.
Kim
Yeah, pretty much.
Ryan
Since they eat, like, super clean.
Kim
Yeah, yeah. Like, no processed foods. Basically, what you shouldn't eat while you're pregnant. So, like, like organic eggs, raw meats, and that's true.
Vinny
I gotta get right, then you gotta get right.
Kim
My boy, man.
Josh
There's no way my pops was all sick and dieting like that. No, no.
Kim
They're saying if you want to have, like. Like, that determines the smoothness of the pregnancy.
Josh
Oh.
Kim
It's not like you can't. You don't have to do that. But if you're actively trying to, like, help your girl out and you want to make you know, you. You can do your part, too. And only you can prevent forest fires, so.
Josh
Wow, I didn't know that. That's cool. That's. Yeah.
Kim
Tick Tock, bro.
Josh
Oh, Tick Tock University. All right, I got the next one.
Vinny
I think I'm doing pretty good.
Kim
Dude, you're crushing it.
Josh
You are. Except till this one. What's collagen good for your hair?
Kim
Final answer.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
I mean, it might be right.
Vinny
I think it's 100.
Kim
I think part of it. There's other aspects that it helps out with, though. Yeah.
Josh
Because there can't just be one. Right.
Vinny
Breastfeeding.
Kim
No, no.
Vinny
Just reaching now.
Josh
But college, you said hair.
Kim
You're on the right track.
Vinny
Hair growth. Hair thickness.
Kim
No, no, like, hair like.
Josh
Wow. That's actually.
Kim
Yes, exactly. So it's like.
Josh
Yeah, collagen is approaching. That plays a role in. In hair health.
Kim
Oh, and skin as well, though, is it not?
Josh
Where do you get collagen?
Kim
Protein. It's a type of protein.
Josh
You got the next one.
Kim
Oh, yeah. What is a money piece?
Josh
Oh, my God. I totally forgot about this one.
Vinny
What is a money?
Kim
You don't remember what it is?
Josh
No.
Kim
Oh, I remember. Dude, you should know this. This is the one that you should know. God, you're so stupid.
Josh
Money.
Kim
God.
Josh
I forgot.
Vinny
A money piece.
Kim
Money piece.
Vinny
I don't know, Maybe like a piece that you just love and it's money.
Josh
I just love wearing. Yeah.
Kim
This piece right here.
Vinny
That's all I can think.
Kim
That's okay.
Josh
I think I thought it was a tramp stamp, didn't I? That's a money.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
What is it again?
Kim
It's. Oh, do you know, Kim?
Ryan
It's like a highlight of a hair.
Kim
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Josh
Oh, you're right.
Kim
Like a strip of color in the front.
Vinny
Why is that called a money piece?
Kim
I don't know. This is what they call it in the street.
Josh
Yes.
Vinny
I never heard that.
Josh
Yeah, it's like that. Like, they do a little like. Like balayage.
Ryan
Oh, balayage.
Josh
You know, I used to be a hairdresser.
Kim
That's why I was like, you should know this.
Josh
That's right here.
Kim
I forgot, bro. Yo, are money pieces, like, not in or are they in? Because I think they're kind of fire.
Ryan
I think they're in.
Kim
They're in.
Josh
Yeah, they're in, bro.
Kim
I'm telling my girl to get one. You know what you need, baby? A money piece. Just like, get out. Oh, I got you, babe. Money piece. Peplum top. Sticky side. Date night.
Josh
Vinnie. What? What's What's. What's a. What's a. What's a diva cup?
Kim
You should know this.
Josh
I didn't know this either. So, like, if you don't know it, like I said it. But this is real girly pop.
Kim
This is as girly pop as it gets.
Josh
A diva cup.
Kim
This is a deep cup.
Vinny
Oh, nah, it's the cup you put in that gets the blood. No. Yeah. Some people put it on their plants.
Kim
What, the blood?
Vinny
Yeah, I've heard that. Yeah.
Josh
How you know that?
Vinny
I just know, bro.
Josh
If you know what a diva cup is, you won the girly.
Kim
Girly pop.
Ryan
Your girly popcorn.
Josh
Wow, bro, a diva cup was crazy. I had no idea what that was. What'd you think it was like, when girls gone. No, like, when girls go on bachelor party, bachelorette parties, and everybody has their little, like, pink cup that says, like, yeah, Queen. Like, queen. Or like that. Or, like, you know, like, that's a show. Yeah. You know.
Ryan
Yeah.
Kim
Diva cup.
Josh
That's what I thought it was. I can't believe you got that right.
Kim
And he didn't know it in the beginning. It like, the. The girly pop God summoned him.
Josh
Yeah. He's like, how'd you do that, cuz? Really didn't know until, like, comp.
Vinny
What do you say? Compa. I can't say it. I can't. Like, when your mind is compa. Oh.
Kim
Car part analyzed.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
Yeah. That's tough. Compartmentalized car part. I have to say that word in, like, in.
Vinny
I couldn't think of how three different parts.
Kim
Car part mentalized. Yeah.
Josh
What does that mean?
Kim
Like, to put it in different, like, categories. So it's like, you guys are better at car part mentalizing than girls. That's, like, a thing, right? So we're able to, like, put this here, this here, and, like, break it up versus, like, girls are more, like, emotional. It's like, they don't. They see everything as one. So for example, it'll be like, oh, you didn't take me out. The girl be like, you didn't take me out.
Josh
Right.
Kim
And the girls. The guy's like, yeah, we went out to eat yesterday. But she's like, no, but I want to take it out on a date. Like, they view it all. I don't know what I'm saying right now.

Josh
Compartment.
Vinny
Compartment, yeah.
Kim
What did I say?
Josh
Compartment? Yeah. You said car part, bro.
Kim
Come on, man.
Josh
No, bro, I couldn't even get the first.
Kim
Oh, Compartmentalized.
Josh
Oh, it's good in my books.
Kim
Compartmentalized comparts.
Josh

Vinny
That's pretty cool.
Josh
But what's blow? What's a blowout? Wanna put in a sentence for you?
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
All right. I'm your girl, right?
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
Very beautiful girl. See the curls?
Josh
All right, babe, I'll be right back. Where are you going? I'm gonna go get a blowout. Hi.
Kim
How pissed are you gonna be if she says that?
Vinny
Pissed.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
First thing that comes to mind is, like, the Poly D blowout.
Josh
Okay.
Vinny
So I'm assuming it's some kind of hair.
Josh
Okay.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
I'll be right back. It's only gonna take like, an hour.
Kim
I'll be right back and we'll go get a blowout.
Vinny
I've heard Brazilian blowout, so I'm assuming it's something with your hair.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Damn, you're good.
Kim
He's good.
Vinny
Locked in.
Josh
Just like. Like, round. Brushing your hair, you know, giving it a style. Sometimes they're like, making your hair straight. Now a Brazilian blowout. It's interesting you said that. How do you know about that? Does she get it that straightens your hair?
Ryan
Yeah, it's, like, wavy.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
So that, you know, kind of semi permanently Makes your hair straight for a while.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
You know, you got to keep on getting it done. Characters. Yeah, So I used to do those all the time. They smell.
Kim
Yeah.
Vinny
Yeah, they smell terrible.
Kim
Why?
Vinny
I can't go. They burn chemicals.
Josh
It's because it's a chemical you, like, put the blood in, and then sometimes they, like, flat iron it with the actual chemical and just smell. It's a lot of fumes.
Kim
That can't be good.
Vinny
Cannot.
Josh
It can't be, like, passing out.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
Oh, no way.
Josh
Yeah. Offer beauty, bro.
Kim
Damn.
Vinny
For straight here.
Kim
Worth it.
Josh
Worth it. You want to see the next one?
Kim
Do we have more?
Josh
Actually, no. That was it. You know what, though?
Kim
I think you did better than us. Yeah, we were. We were far off, bro.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
She says girl dad coded.
Kim
Oh, yeah?
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
Oh, really?
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
Oh, that's. I want to be Girl dad coded. I want to grow, man. I want to go.
Josh
Well, guys, what's. What's in store for. For you guys and for everybody because a lot of people. First of all, thank you because you guys brought probably your audience here, so welcome to La Platika. Yes. Daddy, Josh and Savas. And thank you guys for coming here. Vinny
Yeah.
Ryan
Yeah. I love that with my dad.
Kim
Nice. I started real estate because of my mom. She's been doing real estate for 35 years. So in 2017, I brought my first, like, property.
Ryan
Oh, nice.
Kim
Yeah, that's cool.
Vinny
That's really.
Kim
Yeah. 100%.
Josh
That's so cool.
Kim
You guys bought a house.
Vinny
Yeah, we did. We bought a house in Austin.
Kim
Congratulations. That's amazing.
Vinny
Yeah. Thank you.
Kim
That's so cool.
Ryan
Yeah, I think social media helps us, like, be able to do that, which is even insane to begin with. We wouldn't be able to.
Josh
No.
Kim
Yeah. Yeah.
Josh
That's so cool.
Kim
Wow, that's so cool.
Josh
Super cool. And now we have a place to stay.
Kim
Yeah, yeah.
Ryan
Whenever you come to Austin, you have a place.
Kim
Yeah, that's so cool.
Josh
We'll go. We'll go.
Vinny
All right.
Kim
We pull up to Austin. Where are you taking us to eat, Terry?
Vinny
Blacks or Suerte? Oh, those are both Mexican food. It's okay.
Ryan
Do you like barbecue?
Kim
Love barbecue.
Josh
We like anything.
Kim
Yeah. We're like. We're the opposite of any. Like, we're. Dude, we like anything in front of our faces. We were going to devour it.
Vinny
Okay. It's like big food place, so food trucks, restaurants.
Josh
No, we'll literally eat anything. Anything. And especially when it's free.
Ryan
You sound like him.
Vinny
Yeah, that's.
Kim
He's right. And then bar. What bar are you taking us to?
Vinny
6Th Street. We got to show y'all. 6th Street. It gets crazy.
Josh
Is it true Austin is known for their breakfast tacos?
Kim
That's a Texas thing. Breakfast tacos. A Texas thing.
Vinny
I think San Antonio is more. It's like bean and cheese or bean. That's what they're known for. It's like a bean and cheese taco. That's like the go to breakfast. Yeah. But, yeah, breakfast tacos all over.
Josh
Really?
Vinny
Yeah. Yeah.
Josh
Cool. We'll book a flight soon.
Kim
Yeah, we're going, baby. Yeah. I've been wanting to go to Austin.
Vinny
Y'all take us to the Dodgers game.
Kim
Done.
Josh
Oh, my God. Please, let's do that.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
Would you guys move to la?
Vinny
We thought about it. Yeah, we thought about it. I don't know. It's. It's a different life over here.
Kim
It really is.
Josh
Yeah. A bunch of fake people.
Kim
Even though, like, they say, like, Austin is, like, la, LA is still very different in, like, in its LA way.
Ryan
I think there's so many opportunities here, like, the amount of people that you meet here also.
Josh
That's the only thing is, it's. It's. The pool here is huge.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
And all the brands are here. Everybody you want to network with is here, you know, and does happen here.
Ryan
I think, for a few years. That'd be fun.
Kim
Yeah. Are you guys gonna do Coachella?
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
Okay.
Vinny
Definitely. Are y'all going?
Kim
We have a salute party. So you guys are.
Ryan
Oh, no way.
Kim
Gotta pull up.
Josh
We miss you guys at the other. Well, I feel like I saw you guys in passing. Yeah.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
So next time, for the next saloo party, which is Going to be in Coachella. Like, have you guys been at Coachella?
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
Okay. Amazing.
Ryan
First time ever.
Josh
Yeah. So he keeps. He's talking it up. Major first time. He's saying he has. Second, he's saying he has the biggest house in Coachella.
Kim
One of. One of.
Josh
He has the biggest house. And he says walking distance.
Kim
We're like really close to the fairgrounds.
Josh
So that's everything.
Kim
It's literally a 10 minute walk to the like the entrance of VIP entrance.
Josh
So if, you know, like, that's a, like having a walking distance. A major flex. So I don't know. He invited me this year. We'll see.
Vinny
I'm excited to see the fits.
Kim
The fits are going to be fire. Yeah, right.
Josh
They're gonna be fire. A little cowboy hat maybe.
Kim
You're gonna. That's the. That's the theme you're going for?
Josh
Yeah, a couple.
Kim
I haven't figured out my theme yet.
Josh
Yeah, me neither. I always like. I don't know. I figured out I like to go simple sometimes and comfortable.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
I feel like if I do too much, I look like I'm trying too hard. And like when you're almost 40 years old, you don't want to look like you're trying too hard.
Kim
He has really good fashion style, though. He's like the fashion guy of the group, I would say.
Josh
You really mean that?
Kim
I would say so, yeah. Between you and Jonathan, you really mean that? Okay. You know I did. Not anymore. I just totally don't anymore.
Josh
Yeah. Please. You guys should come.
Kim
Yes. 100.
Josh
100 wide open.
Kim
We haven't sent out invites yet, but we're gonna send out.
Josh
Have you ever heard that song that goes With Arms Wide Open? Sing it to him real quick.
Kim
I don't even know what song he's singing.
Josh
Creed with Arms Wide Open.
Kim
Never heard of it, bro. I think you're making.
Josh
Cue the song, Matt. You guys really mean actually don't.
Kim
Cuz we won't. We won't be able to monetize.
Josh
We're not. We're not going to do it. But I'm going to show it to you guys, right? Like. Oh, okay.
Kim
Yeah, yeah.
Josh
But yes. Hold on real quick. Sorry. Sorry. Do you guys drink?
Ryan
We do.
Vinny
Yeah, we do.
Kim
Did you guys drink at the Salute?
Vinny
We did. Yeah. And then the free drinks were amazing.
Kim
Yeah, they were like.
Josh
They were super strong too.
Vinny
That's what I said. Yeah. No, we probably drank a little too much. Honestly, bro.
Kim
You tell me.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
Do you guys think Ranch waters?
Vinny
That's like a thing in Texas?
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Aren't you from there?
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
Well, technically, you're from Georgia.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
I love a ranch water.
Vinny
Yeah.
Kim
So good, you know?
Josh
Well, there's a soda water, right? With tequila and lime.
Kim
With lime and. Yeah.
Josh
What's topico? Orange juice.
Vinny
Oh, okay. Yeah.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
It helps with hangovers because you're drinking water.
Kim
Tequila.
Vinny
Yeah. So, man.
Ryan
So ranch waters are good for you. You.
Kim
Why did you bring that up? What was the whole point of that? What? Drinking ranch water specifically. Oh.
Josh
Because I thought that was, like, their. Their.
Kim
Oh, their go drink.
Josh
Got it. Because I know with Alex, he's taking me to El Paso before, and he took me to this place, and all he do is drink ranch waters all day.
Vinny
Oh, really?
Josh
Yeah. He likes ranch waters, I think. Yeah.
Kim
Alex. Alex, probably. I like ranch waters better.
Josh
They put them in a topo Chico glass.
Kim
Oh, yeah.
Josh
They're really good. Like, that's pretty good.
Ryan
I think I'm more of a fruity, like, sweet drink, like what y'all had at the party. Yeah, those drinks were good.
Kim
Yeah, those are really good.
Ryan
Those are my favorite drinks.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
So we were just doing it for, like, Les's flavor, but when you go to the Coachella party, we're gonna have, like, all the flavors. Yeah. Like the Jamaica.
Vinny
I love the Jamaica.
Kim
Yeah, bro.
Vinny
Yeah.
Josh
Yeah.
Vinny
I'm excited. Yeah.
Josh
They have a flight to catch.
Kim
I was just about to say that. Yeah.
Josh
Yeah. We miss it. We're gonna have to reboot. Oh.
Kim
We're cutting it close. Yeah.
Josh
Thank you guys so much. Much, honestly. Good luck to everything. I hope to see you guys in the future. I'll see you guys in a couple months, Honestly, if all goes well. Let us know if you guys need anything. We are the plug in la. I am what you call a connector. Anything that you need, I will connect you to. I am the connector that's connected with a K. Okay.
Vinny
Plug.
Josh
I just have to say that. All right, hit me up. I'm serious.
Kim
Yeah. Like, not even to, like, gas him up, but he's plugged up.
Vinny
Oh, for real? For real.
Kim
Yeah.
Josh
Yeah.
Kim
He uses all my plugs.
Josh
Guys. Obviously you guys already follow them, but if you guys don't follow them, they're amazing people.
Kim
Amazing people.
Josh
Amazing people. And, yeah, congrats on everything. We will definitely do a part two one day in the future.
Ryan
Thank you for having me.
Kim
Maybe when you guys have kids. Kids in the works. Is that in talks?
Ryan
Next five years, for sure.
Vinny
We. We have a lot we want to do before.
Josh
You should wait.
Vinny
Yeah, yeah.
Josh
But you have anything else to say.
Kim
I love it, man. Great episode. Thank you guys for coming. I appreciate it so much.
Ryan
Thank you.
Vinny

Kim
You know what you need, baby? A money piece.
