You'll never know. Hey, it's J. O And I've been spending, you know, my early spring nights a lot, like I would assume a lot of you are, which is watching NBA playoffs. You know, it's one of the quickest three months in sports. Thank you, Johnny. Yeah, three months of playoffs is wild. I guess the NHL does it too. So it's not necessarily just the NBA. And it is that portion of the NBA season that a lot of people, that's when they dial into to basketball. It's not necessarily, you know, March with the college tournament. It is straight up that April, May, June, playoff basketball time. I truly enjoy it. It's fun. You got competitive basketball games that matter every single night. We're at that point now here in the conference finals. We're gearing up to get ready for the NBA finals. And the saddest part about that, and I love the finals, right. Championship level sports at any level is amazing. But it makes me sad because we're no longer going to have NBA basketball every single night. Like we at this point, we are accustomed to having high level games every single night. Even now with the conference championships going on. They're on this every other night. Swing. Well, the freaking Knicks, they ended that, right? They say 4, 4 in advance there for the Knicks or Knicks and fours. I guess they're saying it as they sweep the Cleveland Cavaliers. They've advanced out of the east into the NBA finals, waiting on their opponent who's about to play game five. So there is, there is going to be some nights now where we don't have an NBA playoff game. And it, it truly makes me sad. This is a wonderful time of the year. You just, you gotta love games that just. There's juice on it, right? That there's just. They matter. Well, thinking about the Knicks and it, you know, the last few years, this, these are really good Knicks teams. They finally put it together, finally made it to finals with 10 or 11 games straight wins since. Well since the Danhausen uncursed him. And you might be, a lot of you might be thinking who's Dan housing? And he's, he's hard to explain. He's not a guy. I mean he's a guy. He's. He's not a guy. He's not, not a guy and he's not a ghost he's not a clown. He is not Dracula, not a vampire. He's kind of a professional wrestler. So he lives in the world of wwe. And if you Google Danhausen, I mean, this. This painted face character guy who does kind of look like a vampire. I'm not saying he doesn't. It's just. He doesn't do vampire things. He. He'll pop up. He does this thing where he curses people. And early on, he had cursed the Knicks because of Stephen A. Smith. You know, Stephen A. Smith's talking trash. As Danhausen was a guest leading up to Wrestlemania. He was a. He was a guest on first take and. And did some things with Stephen A. Well, Stephen A. He gets cursed, right? So then the Knicks are terrible. And it's so crazy. It happens. Right as he curses them, the Knicks start going on a. Just the absolute, like, slump at the worst possible time. So then all Knicks fans are like, come on, you gotta uncurse. You gotta uncurse the Knicks. Like, this is ridiculous. Like, you're ruining our. Our year over. Stephen A. So he. So Dan Housen, as he does, he. He will uncurse, you know, people that he curses as long as they can negotiate and come to some kind of deal. Like, so you're. If you're following me, he's not a Drac. He's not Dracula. He's not a vampire. He's not a ghost. He's not a clown. He's. He's kind of a professional wrestler. And I say that because he lives in the WWE world, but he doesn't ever. He doesn't wrestle that much. And he just. He does these things. He just cursing people. Well, then people are getting upset with him because the curses are happening. So he'll negotiate with you to get out of these curses. He loves human monies. He loves, you know, things that could bring more fame and fortune to him. Like, you know, having his face on the Las Vegas sphere and that and being on. He had his own blimp. He had his own blimp during WrestleMania. So he's shrewd negotiator. So he ends up getting what he calls human monies from Stephen A. In order to not curse the next. Or maybe was it even Stephen A. Anyway, he got. He got money. He uncursed the Knicks. The Knicks haven't lost since they literally ran through the east as if these were just preseason games against exhibition teams. And I'm not even joking about that. Like, game four, the sweeping of the Cavs. They went with 37, like, they're just absolutely running through anybody in their way. Now, the competition gets stiffer once they play the West. You know, once we get to the finals here, whether it's the Thunder who was the best team in basketball, they're the defending NBA champions or the spurs with Wemby. I mean, this is just. This is a team that is going to win championships. I mean, this. This is quite the freak of nature, this Wembanyana. So it gets. It gets tougher. But the Knicks, uncursed, are on an absolute tear to start the series. Danhausen curses the Cleveland Cavaliers not because they're facing the Knicks, but because one of the biggest Cavs fans is the Miz, who is also, you know, from the WWE world. So he gets his team cursed kind of out of spite because he's been, you know, a big villain in Dan Housing's world. And then the CAVS Absolutely tank. Four straight games, four big losses. In fact, I think game one, they were up by like 22. The Cavs were. And then just lost it. And it just never was the same. Now, at the trade deadline, I called out that the Cavs signal that this. This wasn't going to happen. This wasn't their year. They're not going for a title. Was when they traded for James Harden. That was the curse, in my opinion. But here we are. They. They made it to the conference finals, get swept and cursed by the Danhausen. So Danhausen and the Knicks, they are tied together in this thing. He now wants. Dan Housing wants courtside seats. He wants to sit with Timmy Timothy Chalamet at courtside of Madison Square Garden. Who knows that there's no way that's gonna happen, right? I mean, there's no way crazier things have happened. But speaking of the Knicks, Speaking of that's. This is the now. But the then was just as entertaining. I. The. The Knicks have got funny stories. Back In May of 24, we were talking about the Knicks here on Laugh With Me and a Game 5 in the NBA playoffs. And it wasn't about curses. It wasn't about professional wrestlers or. Or vampires or even human monies. This was about, well, farts. It was about things more in my wheelhouse. So we are. We're giving you a fun rewind of Laugh with me from May 22nd at 24. This is farting with the Knicks. Enjoy. I've got a great story for you. One that's. It's kind of. You know what? It's not that shocking. If you've ever been around a group of fellows or if you've ever been involved in a locker room of any type of. This story really shouldn't shock you. And the fact that it was as received as well and as humorously as it was really shouldn't shock you either. But it made big, big news. In fact, it was after Game 5 of the Pacers and Knicks series in the NBA playoffs. If you've been, if you've been following along, you know that in Game 5, the Knicks won by a staggering amount. They win by 30 points. They've been kind of hanging on in the series, but then they completely destroy the Indiana Pacers by 30 points. How did they do it? How did they possibly just turn it up one game, get so loose that the stress and the pressures of the NBA playoffs just completely subside? And it really shouldn't be as shocking as it is when you find out the story was written by Fred Katz of the Athletic in Thursday or last Thursday's episode of the Knicks Film School podcast. He told the story that he. And he wouldn't say which player it was, but this is what happened. It said it. A epic fart is what loosened up the locker room before the game. Apparently, they were watching, or they're looking at pictures of their head coach, Tom Thibodeau, from another article. He was maybe in a bathing suit or something. And it got the. It got the room laughing. One of the players let out an epic fart that got, apparently it strung along for so long and at such a volume. And that player looked around and with a completely straight face said, something's up with the pipes here that completely destroyed the locker room. They were rolling on the ground laughing. And of course, it was a fart that got the game, got the game completely flipped upside down. I mean, when you really think about it, fart jokes never get old. And when you're in the locker room, boys will be boys. And here's the thing. This, this is something that probably happens often in locker room, maybe not in such a moment as this, where it's very tense, it's the playoffs. They're trying to prepare for what's going to be a very, very big game five. And, you know, for that moment to happen and an epic fart to find its way into locker room at that exact moment. All right, that probably doesn't happen very often, but farts in general in the locker room, Come on, guys. I mean, anybody who's been around the boys knows that that's gonna happen. What. What a story. I wish, I wish Fred Katz would have told us which player it was, he would have become an instant legend of the game. And instead, you know, we're here to. We're here to wonder which player. And the fact that they said it strung along for a lot longer than one might expect for a fart of that volume, that means it was powerful, it was loud, and it was never ending. No, I. I can only imagine he. He was laughing. Maybe. Maybe he's sitting, he's laughing, and he get. He did one of those rollbacks, you know, where you just kind of. You just kind of sit back, roll back, and the push and the power of it just let it all out. He just kind of let it hang. Oh, man, I. I'm not. I'm not like one of those people. It's like, man, I wish I was in the room, you know, for that speech or for that. Like, I love just. I love the stories. You know, the stories is sometimes. Is better than the actual thing itself. And this is one that the story doesn't do it justice. Like, I. I wish I was in the room for the epic fart. I've been in the room for some epic farts. I will say one has been discussed on this very podcast before. The one that killed people at an Everclear concert. Waiting in the crowd, our good friend, favorite, one of our favorite guests of the show, Eric, let off a deadly fart that just hung in the rafters of that theater in. In Kansas City. And it. It was never the same. And I. I promise you that there's people that I. That we don't know, people that were just there that witnessed and smelt it. They undoubtedly knew who dealt it, and they still talk about it to this day. I promise you that's the case. That's an epic fart that I happen to have been a part of. That one didn't get to hear the audible. There was no volume to it. There was no audible. It was just, man, the residue, the everlasting stench that that fart had behind it. That's the part that remained. That's the part that we felt. That's the one that sticks with us still to this day. Then there's the fart. I was at a funeral, you know, sad day. I've unfortunately had the pleasure of attending many funerals in my time. Lots of family and friends, loved ones of friends that are close to me. But this particular funeral, you know, it's sometimes kids don't know. Kids don't know the right moment for certain things. Sometimes they don't even Know, they're doing this little girl, she had to be, what, 2, 3 years old? She's not even sitting by herself. She's being held row in front of me. And at a moment of pure silence, as everybody is completely in tune and listening to the speaker at the front, the longest squeal of a fart comes out. And we knew who it was. And the thing is, the kid didn't understand the moment, but everybody around had heard. We knew, and it was great. It was a. It was a tension cutter. It was something that we probably needed in that moment, because, you know, at funerals, it gets. It gets serious for all the right reasons. But this particular fart in my life has stood the test of time. Those are the ones that have. Have hung with me, that stayed with me. And then, you know, as. As some of, you know, if you listen to the show, you know, I. I am a living example of somebody who's trying to figure out the Crohn's disease, right? And that has had its own repercussions in my life. When things aren't going so well with this disease, sometimes I'm gonna be. I'm just. We blunt with you. The farts, like the. The burning trash farts that will fill the room in the middle of the night. It's. It's atrocious. It's. It's something that, you know, we've had to deal with. And the beauty of it is we have found a cheat code to that. That's. It's why I use a weighted blanket at night. You know, we put that. We put that 40 pounds of blanket right over the top of me, and we hold down these stench of the nuclear sewage that is coming out of my ass. That's. That's. That. It is what it is. It's just. It's a side effect of this terrible disease. We learn to live with it, but we have the cheat code. We've got the weighted blanket. It's always at the ready. This isn't something. Now, for the record, I don't have these burning ass farts every single night, okay? This is just sometimes. And anybody listening going, oh, my God, Jeremy, with the farts. And. No, you do too. You do too. Maybe not all the time, but you do too. Okay? So I don't want the judgment coming this way on the farts. Let's get back to what really matters here. And they said the next one came five by 30 points. And it was all. It was all because of a massive fart. Have you ever thought about Creating your own episode, you know, like having your own podcast. You know, it's 20, 24 and I get like, we're in that, we're in the look at me, you know, era, or the, the social media era. I mean, whatever you want to call it, where everything you literally, literally everything you do is put on blast, right? I mean, you're, you're putting it out there for everyone to see or everyone to know, everyone to hear. I mean, every little detail of some people's lives. And sometimes it's like, and it's fun because we're in this, we're in this world of everybody's putting everything out there. And then we're all, you know, and everybody's reading it, everybody's seeing it, and everybody's got opinions on it. And then we're bitching about your opinions and you're bitching about your opinions. And you know, you know, for example, you know, we just talking the other day, you get people that use their social medias to complain about stuff. I mean, it's a, it's a primarily negative account, you know, and for example, they're on there saying, you know, I hate the weather. The stupid storm happening right now. It's waking my dogs up. Dogs can't sleep. It's 10 o' clock at night. The thunder. Yeah, I mean, that's what happens, right? Like, the storms are loud. Shut your windows, put some music on. I don't know, do something. But people put their opinions out there. This is their outlet, I guess, to get that out there. Whatever it is that nine times out of 10 that they're not expecting little old me, who doesn't even know you to have an opinion about how you feel about the weather and your dogs, but shut the up. Like I don't care. But that's the beauty of social media, right? Like you, you're putting it out there. Somebody's gonna read it, someone's gonna love it. Some people aren't gonna love it. Most aren't gonna love it. And it's. That's just, that's 2024. I mean, that's where we're at. Anything and everything is out there. But with that being said, I think we have figured out what the, like epitome of on social media, the episode epitome of look at me opinion, look at me post, look at me stance. Which is silly because if, you know, let's just say I'm, you know, let's just say I, I'm. I'm upset with Target and I'm not. I just. Target. Please don't hold this against me. I don't. I use you as first they popped in my head. That's a plus. You know, I'm, I'm upset with Target and I've decided I'm no longer going to shop at Target. I have for. At least for a while. I need a Target break. I don't. But what if I need a Target break? You know, maybe I just don't go there. Like, I start going other places. Just change my routine, you know, check out other stores. I'll be back. But I'm gonna check it out. The time being, take a break. This is not something that probably needs to be posted. It's not something that matters. It's really nobody's business. I'm just making a change in my personal life and where I'm going to buy my goods, the things that I really don't need, but they're there. I mean, I love it. That's. That's where we're at right now. Any little thing that you don't like or any little thing that you're making a change in your life, you're making the final I'm never doing this again type of post. And I love it when it's about the very social media app you're on the ladies and gentlemen, I'm never going to post a Facebook again post. What is this? There's nothing more look at me, I'm taking a stand in 2024 than this. And it's usually something really, really dumb. You know, like the aforementioned thunderstorm and the dogs post. You posted it, you put it out in the world socially. People then socially posted on it and we're like, put some music on. Shut the windows. It's the freaking weather. You know when you get mad about it and you're like, people, I'm just telling you, my dogs don't like it. It's. The weather's 10:30 at night. No more. I can't have it. And I don't like that. All you have opinions about my post. So you know what this is? This is my final post. Yep. This is my final Facebook post. I am no longer coming here. It's too negative and I need a break. That's. That is so. Look at me. I'm taking a stand about something that I created. Be proud. Also, be sad because you're not going to see my opinions anymore for a little bit, which, you know, what's it like a week? Can they even make it a week? Those people that make their final posts? People that are leaving Twitter forever because Elon messed it up? No, they don't make it a week. And you know what? Maybe they're taking a break from actually posting. You know, they're on there checking out what you're up to. That's what they really want. They want to get away and no questions asked. Where'd you go? But I want to see what you're going on, what you got going on. That's. That's what it is. That's a hundred percent what it is. Just stop. Just stop. I think we need to start a trend of when people do this, let's call them out on this bullshit. You're not going anywhere. You'll be back posting about the weather and your dogs in no time. Because guess what? There's going to be another storm tomorrow or maybe next week. The wind. You know the wind's gonna be bad. You'll be back and we'll be there to tell you.

Malcolm Glebel
Hello? Hello, this is Malcolm Glebel from Smart talks with IBM. Today we're diving into a fascinating conversation with Stefano Pallard, head of fan development for Scuderia Ferrari hp.
Stefano Pallard
Your pronunciation is strongly American. It's more Scuderia Ferrari.
Malcolm Glebel
I'm still working on rolling my R's, but what I was able to learn from Stefano was the importance of engaging the Tifosi the Ferrari superfans in the digital age.
Stefano Pallard
Ferrari fans and superfans want to be part of something, want to belong to something, so they want to be part of a community and ultimately they want to be part of a winning team.
Malcolm Glebel
You've got Ferrari, which has a long history, design history, and now you're interacting in a kind of digital space. I'm curious how you balance those two traditions.
Stefano Pallard
When it comes to fan engagement, it's really digital technology and digital channels are being able to create a deeper connection with our fans.

If we were to ever find a cure or at least find something to put this thing in remission, it probably helped with my burning trash fart situation that happened. It's. Again, it's not something that happens all the time. It's just something that occasionally when it does happen, we, you know, you know that it's happening. And, you know, we just make sure that the. The weighted blanket is at the ready to hold down the farts. My family. My family appreciates it. I don't know if you guys have been following Aaron Rodgers, you know, the last few years. It's hard not to hear his name or hear. And he hasn't even played in quite a long time. I mean, he had a pretty average, especially for his standards, a pretty average final season in green bay in 2022. Then he had a. Just a banger of an entrance into the first game of 23 before blowing. That was a ACL or whatever he did. Blew his knee out, missed the whole season. But he didn't go away. I mean, he wasn't the quiet type. You know, weekly appearances on Pat McAfee Show. Then once that became too much, he's been quiet there. But he's popping up everywhere right now as we're heading into the 2024 season. And he. He had the audacity today to say to his teammates, to the organization, to the media of the jets, you know, no more distractions. We need to focus on football. When it's time for football. Time for football. No more of the bs. But with that being said, he's got this little thing called the freedom of speech. So he. He's gonna be. He's gonna be talking, he's gonna be saying things. And none of those things should be a factor in distracting anybody because he has his right to do this. Aaron, do you know how that works? Right? Like, yeah, you've got the right to say whatever you want to say. There's repercussions to it. You know, like being a distraction. It just blows my mind the people that don't understand what that means. And he actually, he. He admitted he. He was a vice president, potential candidate for RFK Junior Junior Robert. Robert Kennedy Jr. I don't know, you know, who he is. He's not gonna be president. That's why I'm not even bothering to know the Correct initials. But it's just nuts to me. Like, my first initial reaction to that, it was an actually true story that Robert Kennedy Jr. That's what. It just blew my mind that he was an actual candidate for Vice president at first. Then I thought about it. Why not? Why not Aaron Rodgers? That's what America is, right? I mean, if you want to run, you can run. I mean, if anybody can run, I mean, they have certain qualifications or age, blah, blah, blah. But anybody can do it. You get the signatures we just got so accustomed to, you know, it's politicians, career politicians. Like, these are the folks. And, you know, that certain somebody kind of threw that up in the air and then now everybody's running. But yeah, I mean, and the. Is that the. The history always has some goofy candidates along the way. Those folks just generally don't win. They generally don't make headline news oh, man. Anymore. I don't know. I think Garrett Rogers could end up being in office someday. I mean, he's got a very popular name. He's definitely not afraid of standing in front of you and telling you his opinion and standing behind it, as crazy as it may be. Oh, good for him. I. Maybe this is his career post NFL, and he's coming closer and closer to that every day. But man, the. The audacity to say, guys, we've got to focus. Football, guys, stick to football. When he's Mr. Podcast, appearance on a week every week and give opinions on things that causes mainstream headlines. Come on, buddy, it's time to look in the mirror. Not just for that haircut, Hit that intro.

In this “Rewind” edition of Laugh With Me, comedian and host Jeremy Ottoman revisits one of the show's most beloved topics: how laughter, especially of the cruder variety, helps us navigate tense sports moments, personal struggles, and daily life. Inspired by the New York Knicks’ epic run in the NBA playoffs, Jeremy dives into the folklore of locker room humor—including a now-legendary fart that supposedly changed the course of an NBA playoff game. The episode blends sports banter, comedic storytelling, and reflections on how humor binds us together, even (or especially) at our most ridiculous.
Jeremy Ottoman’s tone is irreverent, self-deprecating, and conversational. He seamlessly blends sports fandom, locker-room humor, and social commentary, making even bodily function jokes both relatable and oddly poignant. The show’s spirit is one of commiseration and collective laughter—whether you’re dealing with sports heartbreak, chronic illness, or just the absurdities of modern social media.
If you’ve never tuned in, this episode is a showcase of Jeremy’s signature blend: sports obsession, confessional comedy, and an appreciation for the timeless role of laughter (and flatulence) in diffusing life’s biggest moments. You’ll learn more than you thought possible about NBA playoff lore, Crohn’s disease survival tips, and why you should think twice before declaring “this is my final post.”
Quote of the Episode:
"The stories sometimes are better than the actual thing itself. And this is one – the story doesn’t do it justice. I wish I was in the room for the epic fart." — Jeremy Ottoman (17:42)
