In Exodus 27:1–19, the bronze altar stood at the entrance to the tabernacle, and its fire was never allowed to go out. Pastor Josh Thompson explains why continual sacrifice revealed continual sin and why the system itself pointed forward to something greater.

Through Hebrews 9 and 10, we see that Jesus became the once-and-for-all sacrifice, accomplishing what millions of offerings never could. The fire of judgment was satisfied at the cross, and now believers are invited to offer their lives in grateful surrender.
