We are back with another Ask Me Anything listener Q and A. Oh gosh. My favorite question. What are your go to brands for wedding guest dress season? Raise your hand if you have a wedding this summer. I feel like we need to have a conversation about the state of retail right now. It is upside down. The lower end of retail places like Brandy Melville are closing their fitting rooms, which is insane. Another great summer dressing question someone asked how are we styling scarves for summer? So bear with me on this. Do we not feel like that was a little bit trendy last summer? I do feel like one thing that's really fun about summer dressing that I feel like I've been leaning into a lot is the wrong shoe theory. One of my like favorite fashion lessons that I've learned is where to shop for pieces that feel feminine but not too girly. Welcome back to let's Get Dressed. It's your host Liv Perez. Today we are back with another Ask Me Anything listener Q and A podcast episode. I love doing these. If you guys don't know, we do them at the end of every single month. I just feel like it's a great way to connect one on one with you guys. Answer questions about how you're getting dressed every day. It's also so interesting to hear what you guys are focusing in on and what you're excited about in the fashion space. Sometimes it's really random. Sometimes I notice all of you are asking the exact same question. Like last episode the number one question was what sneak sneakers everybody wanted to wear for summer. So it's kind of a fun look into your guys brain but then also what I'm working on paying attention to and wearing as well. I have been in LA all summer and plan to be here most of the time. I'm actually going to a wedding in Idaho in August that I'm so excited about. I've never been to Idaho and feel like it's like one of those places that's all over my Pinterest board. So I'm very excited about that trip. But I am going to be here home for the whole summer, which is kind of surprising. But there's a reason why, and it's because my husband Alex and I have just started working on a house that we're really excited about. So that is my summer project. I have been here doing that. It's so funny. When you're going through construction, all you can think about, like every decision you make is like you filter it through. Like, is that good during construction? So right now the things that I'm like buying and looking at, I'm like, are you actually going to use that right now? Are you going out enough or are you like, is it perfect to wear, like on days when you're on the job site walking around? So I've been focusing on like a lot of like easy summer pants, like summer tops, kind of re upping on like good tops, undergarments. I'm kind of in that phase. I don't have a lot of places that I'm dressing up for right now. So it's been nice to like have an easy, laid back summer. Which again, as someone who travels a lot for work, is kind of like a welcome shift. Like, I'm happy to be here for more than a month at a time. I am like in a good workout routine. All those things, right? Like when you travel, I feel like I just get like totally thrown off my axis. So it's nice to be home for the summer. Also, LA is the best in the summer. I always like when people leave and like go on amazing vacations, which I've done a million times. But LA is the best. Like, I just feel like the weather is incredible, the beaches are great, the restaurants are great. It's just the most fun time to be here. So I'm having a great time. I'm really enjoying it. The one thing I feel that I kind of miss about living in New York while I'm in LA in the summer is like activities, events, things that are like that feel like they're part of the city. So if you're in LA and you have like a good way to find those things, please send it my way. I need them for my mental health because if not, I feel like I'm just going to be in construction mode all summer. Also, speaking of advice and things to send My way. I am a first time renovator. Obviously I have not done this before. I did it in a minor way with the place that we're currently living in. Like, we updated the bathrooms, but this is a full blown renovation. And every time I tell someone I'm renovating a home, they look at me like I'm about to go through an insane trauma. Like, they're literally like, hmm, Mm. Okay. Big eyes, very nervous. And everyone in my life who has gone through renovation recently has said that it's very intense. So if you have advice, let me know. My sister recently told me that every decision you and your partner make, you should both sign off on it so that you both remember that you made that decision. Because she was like. So sometimes we would forget and then, like, get into a fight about, like, what actually got done or not. So please send through all the tips. I'm really excited about it and also can't wait to apply, like, some of the things that I feel about fashion into homes and interiors. I've obviously never designed a home before, but I feel like we can find some similarities, right? Like color blocking, textures, I don't know. It's all related. We'll figure it out. But send me your tips. If you've animated a house before and survived it. Well, I do feel like one thing that's really fun about summer dressing that I feel like I've been leaning into a lot is there's this theory called the wrong shoe theory. Alison Borenstein, who is an incredible stylist based in la, she's been on the podcast, we love her in this house, she coined this theory. And I feel like summer is the perfect time to play around with the wrong shoe theory because it's like, I want to wear a cute dress, like maybe a little summer dress. Maybe it's mini, maybe it's long. Like, I love like a knit long dress for like a summer weekend activity. And then you pair it with like a sneaker because you're walking around, right? It's that perfect time to like, wear the things in your closet that maybe you weren't reaching for the rest of the year. There are so many, like, sandals and loafers and things that like, really only come out in the summer for me. And so I feel like I've been doing some, like, wrong shoe theory vibes a lot. I have been wearing my sneakers a lot more than I usually do during the year and I think it's because I like that, like, contrast with a really summery dress. Like, I saw a picture of Charlotte Lawrence the other day, who's a singer. I think she was like out for her birthday and she was wearing this like, long bodycon black dress and then had these like, bright red and black Solomons. I think they were Solomons on with it. And I was just like, yeah, she looks so cool. Like, that's such a great vibe. So wrong shoe theory. It's just the idea that you're pairing a shoe that, like, wouldn't necessarily always work with the outfit that you have on. Right. Like, a lot of the times you'll pair something that feels like it's flattering, or maybe it's slimmer, or maybe it's chunkier or something along those lines. The wrong shoe theory literally throws out any logic, any like, sense of anything when it comes to pairing shoes. You know who's really good at the wrong shoe theory? Leandra Medine. Like, I feel like every time she was formerly had the man repeller and now she has a serial aisle on substack, I always see her outfits and I'm like, yeah, she totally went for like the sharp left shoe. I love it. So let this summer be the one of trying new things. I feel like summer again. Summer dressing is so easy. It's like, it feels like the time to take a risk. So do it with your shoes. Okay, let's get into some of the questions. It's fun to get these questions from you guys in the middle of summer because I can see what you all are thinking and needing. The first one was one we actually have never talked about in the podcast before, which I'm so surprised by, and I actually feel like we need to do like a bigger episode on this. Someone recently asked me, what are we loving and what are we getting rid of in terms of undergarments? I don't know how we haven't had this conversation on the pod before. For starters, I do have to say I'm a big believer in like, every four to six months re upping on undergarments. I have always done that. I'm a big believer in it. So make sure that you're doing that in your closet. For the past year or so, I have been wearing these skims fits everybody thong. They're comfortable, like, I'll give you that. But I do think that there's like a lot of fabric in them. If you are someone who wears pieces that like, are form fitting or can sometimes show like a panty line, those are not the undergarments for you. I feel like there have been numerous times where I'VE had to, like, switch out of them because I can see, like, line on the side or something like that. They're not great if you're someone who's in leggings a lot and works out like I am. I found myself having to get new ones because they're just. They're a bit bulky is the wrong word, because they're a thin material. But. But there is just a lot of fabric up at the front. So I've kind of transitioned away from those. One, because of the fit, which is ironic because they're the fits, everybody. I do love skims. No. Hate to skims. I just feel like maybe this isn't my fit. But two, because I feel like this summer, I've really gotten into understanding fabrics. I don't know about you guys, but I've definitely gotten served all the content about polyester and, like, the bad things we're putting on our body. And one thing I've tried to buy more of is all things cotton. I also. I just feel like we're in this epidemic of, like, things costing 300 to $400, and then you look at what they're made of, and they're literally all polyester, which is plastic. So I know I'm probably late to the game on that, but this is, like, the content got to me. Now I'm like, okay, we're not putting these things on our body anymore. So I actually highly recommend, anytime you're buying something, really go look at the fabric and the material of what it's made of, because I don't understand how we've gotten to this point where we're paying so, so much money for plastic. Actually, last summer, I remember buying this skirt from a brand on Revolve that everybody loves and I love too. And I was really excited about it. I bought it for, like, my anniversary dinner with Alex. I got it in the mail and tried it on, and it literally felt like paper. I was like, this is the cheapest material of all time. And I think it was, like, 300, which is insane for the level of quality of what it actually was. Like, it literally felt like paper. So I'm really pro looking into the materials, especially when it comes to undergarments, especially in all of these areas that are really sensitive and receptive to fabrics. I really would pay attention to cotton. I know there's a brand called Cuckoo Intimates that I've been loving. So, so, so cute. All cotton, 100% cotton. So I would look into that. But then I also just got, like, a Pack a bundle pack from into Misumi, which I love as well. They're boat neck tops. So good. So, so, so good. Definitely something that feels like a wardrobe staple for summer. But I got like a six pack of these like cotton thongs that they have in like a variety of colors and they fit really nicely. Not as much fabric up at the top and just like I feel like a good everyday fit. So that's what I've been paying attention to when it comes to undergarments. This episode is brought to you by Rothy's. I will say one thing. I have not found my go to bra yet. I feel like I've been hunting but it's like for someone who is like smaller, busted like me, I've been looking for a perfect T shirt bra that you can wear every day that isn't sheer enough where like you can see if you get cold but isn't thick enough that it has an immense amount of padding in it. I have not found that dream bra. If you have found it, please slide into my DMs. I'm looking for it. I wear a skims like balcony one right now but like I definitely can't wear it with a white T shirt. So I think I'm also on the hunt for that but, yeah, we should definitely do an undergarments debrief soon, because I feel like there are so many great brands doing cool things. I feel like the industry has changed a lot. And before skims, like, I don't remember what we were all buying, but I do feel like the industry has changed so much and, like, what. The things we want out of undergarments is really different. Like, when I was younger, the things we wanted out of undergarments were, like, to feel sexy, to be the Victoria's Secret bombshell. Like, you wanted to feel sexy under all your clothes. And now, like, I really just want things that, like, support me and are good for me and that I can wear on a daily basis. So I'd love to hear from you guys, what's working in your wardrobe right now? What are you leaning towards? Maybe you have a company that you've been with, like, forever and are your tried and trues, or. Or maybe you're, like, me, who are trying new things right now. Okay, this is probably my favorite question that I've gotten in a while because one of my, like, favorite fashion lessons that I've learned. But two, I actually feel like I just styled an outfit that answers the question perfectly, and that is where to shop for pieces that feel feminine but not too girly. I genuinely don't think that there is a rule book to finding pieces that oscillate between those two things. Right. I think at the end of the day, it comes down to how you style something. I have bought pieces from brands like Free People and For Loving Lemons and brands that feel really, like, girly and fun and whimsical, but have found ways to tone them down in the way that I style them. And I do feel like this is something that, like, as a woman, I feel a lot getting dressed every day. Sometimes I want to feel really girly and fun. Like, today I'm wearing this, like, cute pink jacket, and. And then sometimes I'm in, like, a big leather jacket and my loafers and want to feel feminine, but also, again, not too, like, quote, unquote, girly. It comes down to how you style it. The perfect example was the other day. My best friend has a brand called Mimchick, and she hosted a dinner here in la. One of my, like, favorite parts of her brand is she has a lot of these, like, really cute, like, bubble hem skirts. She actually made me a custom one for my bachelorette. It was a really cute, like, like, white kind of tank dress with a bubble skirt. It was white. It was so cute. I still have it and I'm obsessed with it. I need to like bring that out eventually. But so she sent me a skirt to wear to the dinner that was had like a black band around the waist and then it was like a high, low bubble skirt. Right. You could see that skirt in such a girly, fun way. Right. It could be with a tank top. You can wear it to the beach. It's something that could be styled, I think, in a really girly, youthful way. As I was getting ready for dinner, I wasn't feeling that it was like nighttime. I wanted to like kind of edge it up a little bit. And I was like, you know what? I'm going to wear my like lace up heels. I'm gonna throw a leather jacket over it. I'm gonna like leave my hair kind of like loose and messy. And it really edged up an outfit that could feel otherwise. Really girly and fun. So I think lean into those pieces in your closet. One I think don't be afraid to buy girly pieces. Like, don't be afraid to have those pieces in your closet that make you feel youthful, feminine, flirty, fun. I do find that as I've gotten older, I will, like, see those pieces and immediately steer away from them. And I don't ever want to lose that. Like, I always want to have those pieces that if I wake up feeling that way, can reflect that. Right. I think summer is a great time, a great example because there are so many times that I wake up and I want to have that like fun, cut, cute, effortless, carefree vibe. Right. It's not my everyday style, but I always want the option for it. But make sure you have pieces in your closet that can counteract those moments so that you can style them year round. Right. Like, putting a leather jacket over it is a great example for winter season. Like, if you want it to feel edgy, elevated, a bit more like seasonally appropriate, you can wear a leather jacket with it. Think about pieces. Like, belts are a great way to edge things up. Like, maybe it's like a deep green belt that makes something feel a little bit more elevated. Find those pieces in your closet that really can transform a piece. Because I'm a big believer in not having pieces in your closet that only work for like one time of a year. I might not be the best example of this since I'm someone who lives in LA and the weather's always nice. But you want to have things in your closet that you can work year round so it's less about Staying away from the girly pieces and more about how you style them. However, I do really quickly, though, understand how in the summer, it's kind of hard. And this is something I actually talked about on my Instagram recently. I have such a hard time styling summer because it does feel really kind of girly and carefree. And maybe girly is the wrong word, because there's nothing wrong with being girly. It can feel, like, whimsical and fun. Right. But my style sometimes isn't always that. So summer dressing is really hard for me. There are genuinely a few places that I look at always when I'm looking for dresses specifically. Like, sir has the best summer dresses right now. They're so good. All of them are, like, sexy, but not sexy. They, like, hug the body well, but they're, like, chic and fun at the same time. So I love that. Oola Johnson, I think, does a really good job of, like, straddling the line. And then I would look at brands like Dish Posse and Rue Sophie. I would look at those brands. I feel like they make great, elevated summer basics. Okay, question three. Speaking of summer, what to wear during heat wave? I was in New York last summer during that insane heat wave where I swear it was over 100 degrees with, like, 100% humidity. I don't think I've ever been in heat. Like, that weird, fun fact about me. I love humidity. I love it. Like, I thrive. I land in places that have, like, 80% humidity. And I am my best self. Literally the happiest I've ever been. When I was living in New York, people would ask me, like, what's your favorite time of year? And I would say, July or August. And they'd be like, what do you mean? I love it. One time I went and saw, like, a Chinese medicine doctor, and they were like, you're meant to be in heat. So I don't know, maybe I'm a reptile. I have no idea. Or was one in my past life, but I really love it. So I feel like it's given me a very good angle into styling for heat waves because I lean in hard when it comes to heat waves. One rule, one rule only. It's linen. It's always, always, always linen. It is the lightest, easiest fabric to get around in. And also, like, really good ventilation. Like, you're not going to feel claustrophobic and stuffy. I got a really great set last year, I think, from Beckonbridge that I wore the whole time I was in New York. It was like a Matching pant and top. And I wore it to a bunch of meetings, so I was able to, like, look really put together, but also felt really comfortable and, like, could move about the city also. We're gonna get into this again because I know I get shamed for it, but, like, it's sandals vibes. Like, I'm wearing. I wore, like, leather sandals in the city during the heat wave. Like, I am not getting blisters on behalf of the heat wave. I'm not gonna wear, like, leather sneakers or, like, something with a lot of fabric when it's that hot outside. And I know I'm gonna blister in two seconds. So I don't know. You can join me or not, but I'm wearing sandals in this city. Just, like, bring wipes with you. I don't know, like, figure. Like, I don't know. It doesn't have to be this crazy of a thing. Like, I don't know. I just feel like, at that point, like, your whole body is sticky and uncomfortable. So just, like, lean in, guys. Bring wipes with you if you need to. Okay, so direct report from our producer who's here, who was in New York last week when it started to get hot, and she said her mom wore sandals, and everyone in the city was wearing sandals. I don't think it's a thing. I don't know. See me, guys. I don't think it's a thing. Wear sandals. Just. You're going to shower at the end of the day, right? I hope so. That's the other thing. If you are living in New York in the summer and you do not get home and shower before you get in bed. Crime crimes, like, you have to. When I was living in New York, I think I showered, like, in the morning and at night. It's part of it. You know what I mean? Okay, go, Nyx. One last thing. When it comes to heat wave styling, don't over style it. Don't over complicate it. You're really out there dressing to survive, right? Like, I wouldn't do all of. Like, I wouldn't. Obviously, no layers. Definite no. And sometimes, honestly, I stay away from jewelry, too. I don't know if you guys have had that experience when it's, like, really hot sometimes, like, my earrings get hot or something. Like, you know, I don't know if that's happened to you or if I'm just, like, a weird reptile. But, like, sometimes I notice, like, my jewelry getting really hot. I just, like, want to feel free and, like, not feel, like I have a million things on, so keep it simple. Stick with linens. Also, I do know that a lot of people are against linen because it wrinkles really fast and can make you look maybe not put together. Especially if you're someone who is like commuting on the subway. You're getting on the subway, sitting down, you walk into the office and it's all wrinkled. I would lean into darker colors, like a navy, like a gray, because you see the wrinkles less. White linen, you will see the wrinkles all day. There's no avoiding it. So lean into those darker colors. Or I've brought up the Enzacosta twill pants on this podcast a million times, but that twill is like a linen blend where it doesn't wrinkle as fast. So. So if you're able to look for twill linen blends, I really recommend that too because at least you'll have a little bit of flexibility in how wrinkly you look going into the office. Okay, the next question. I love this question because I feel like LA is in the middle of a shopping renaissance. Someone asked me where I'm shopping right now. For starters, LA really is having such a great moment for shopping. I feel like in Malibu we have the Ranch, I think at Malibu, and it just opened up. It's right behind the Country Mart and so many brands are opening up there. Guest in residence. Mad Happy Frankie's Bikinis Kith opened up in there. It's a really fun place to like spend the weekend and walk around. So I feel like Alex and I have gone there a few times in the last months or so to spend the day. So I think LA is having a good moment. Also, I would say, like, LA is so great for vintage. Like I am at Shop RLT all the time. I love Scout, I love Recess. We have so many great mid range vintage places where you can find amazing everyday clothing and I think that that's kind of hard to find in other cities. Like when I go to New York, it is like so expensive. It's like the high end designer pieces that people collect and covet. And I don't really shop for that. I shop resale for like 90% of my closet. So I really love being able to go to places that are approachable and great for every day. Speaking of which, I feel like we need to have a conversation about the state of retail right now. It is upside down. I feel like genuinely I am not having a good shopping experience anywhere and I would love to hear your guys Thoughts on this? Please slide into my DMs on this. I think about it this way. The lower end of retail places like Brandy Melville are closing their fitting rooms, which is insane. I actually listened to someone who works for Brandy Melville on TikTok the other day being like, please don't harass the staff about the closing rooms having changed. It was a company wide decision to close the changing rooms, I guess because they couldn't, they didn't build proper doors. So it was like the curtain that would close and people were literally coming in, putting gum on the sides of the walls to close the gap so people wouldn't see them naked as they were changing. Do you realize how insane that is and how disgusting that is? For starters, let's start there. Gross. But also, like, have we reached a level of retail where we can't fix these small problems like putting a door that we're resorting to customers coming in and putting gum on the walls to close the gap? So much so that you're not willing to fix the issue that you get rid of your dressing rooms altogether. Baffles me. The woman who worked for Brandy was saying that it's a company wide decision and she was also like, please don't come into Brandy and change in the store. Like, we have minors that are coming in here. Like, you can't just be like trying things on in the store. Also think about the way that impacts like traffic, like how people are moving around. But then at the same time, like as a customer. First of all, Brandy is wrought with issues like the fact that it's a one size fits all is in 2026. The fact that Brandy Melville is a one size fits all is insane to me. And now you're also telling your customers that they can't even try it on. And then I think they have like an insane return policy as well. Like how does that work? How do you create a good shopping experience for that person? Right. Then I think of going all the way to some luxury stores now. Like, you have to make an appointment, you have to wait in line. That's a really crazy retail experience. What if someone wants to come and just see something or they think about buying. You're kind of eradicating that ability for someone to make an impulsive purchase. Like they have to make an appointment and be committed to it's going in and buying that thing. Right? But then I think of all kind of like the mid range places that I shop online and see final sale, final sale culture has also gone absolutely insane. Like there are websites that I go on where I have seen designer bags on final sale, like $6,000 bags that I want to see if it fits my body, if it's my proportion goes with my closet, but you don't have the opportunity to return is insane. So I feel like all around I'm having a really hard time finding great retail experiences. So I don't know, I kind of have a bone to pick with retail right now. I feel like I'm not finding a lot of great experiences where as a customer I feel excited. One place that I'm having an excellent retail experience right now is Depop. As I mentioned before, I am someone who is looking constant for great wardrobe pieces that I can wear every day that are secondhand. And I feel like I'm getting from a place where I'm not contributing to the massive retail as I've discussed prior. I also really love that. I feel like the people I'm buying from like love fashion as much as I do. They're collectors, they're people who have great taste and I just feel like I've been going there as like my first stop recently. I just got this jacket from there too. It's plain Polo Ralph Lauren vintage. I love it. I feel like it's such a great everyday piece that I can style like with jeans in the summer or I have it styled with a leather skirt right now and I feel like this is an easy way to elevate it, but so I have been living on there lately. What I love about shopping on Depop is I actually feel like every purchase I'm making is really intentional. Every time I see something I like, I heart it. It goes into my profile. But 90% of the time I'll message the seller and have like a one on one conversation with them about the piece. Is it going to fit me? How does it fit them? Where did they get it, how did they collect it, how did they wear it? So I feel like every time I buy something it's this really intentional purchase. I found so many great things on there and I feel like again, this jacket is a great example. It's summer, everybody wants great like vintage polo, Ralph Lauren Y vibes and there is like a treasure trove on there like vintage sweaters, vintage tees, racer jackets. I'm so obsessed with finding vintage pieces from Ralph on there. I also another thing that I'm loving for summer vintage teas. I'm having the best time with like a vintage graphic tee. There's one in my cart right now that's like bright yellow. It says like good luck in red and it has like, oh, good luck bunny. It's so cute. But also just for like my everyday summer wardrobe, there are so many great pieces on there. Seadre, which is one of my, like all time favorite summer brands. There are so many pieces from that brand on there. I have just always found things that I love and I've always had a really great, great buyer and seller experience. If you are looking for really great new summer pieces, highly recommend it. But if you're also doing a closet clean out this summer, which I know a lot of you are, it's like that perfect time to dive into refreshing your closet a little bit. Depop is the perfect place to sell your clothes. I've told you guys this before, but just a reminder because it's so good, there are zero seller fees. Zero. Which means that in comparison to so many other resale sites out there, you're going to get the best deal on Depop. So that's really what's been on my mind when it comes to shopping lately. I want something that feels really intentional. I don't want to impulse shop. I want to have a genuine experience, whether that's in person at a store or with a person that I really like, or online where I can connect with other people and actually make a smart, conscious choice for my closet. Another great summer dressing question. Someone on Instagram asked, how are we styling scarves for summer? So bear with me on this. Do we not feel like that was a little bit trendy last summer? Like, the scarves around the waist tied on the side, like the triangle over the pants. I really like it and I think it's so good for vacation dressing. Like, I love that ability to, like take a sarong and give it a second life. That's not just over a bathing suit. Right. But for me, it did feel a little bit trendy. I do love a scarf moment though. Like, I think it is so great to add this, like, additional layer to your wardrobe if you are someone who's kind of starting from scratch on that and not someone who is used to Layering like that. I would start with putting it on your bag. I think that's really cute for summer. Just, like, tie it in a knot around the handle and see how you like it. Take it for a test drive. I feel like sometimes if it's printed or colored, you might want to see how that works with your outfit or how you like it in a very simple way. Another way I like it. I love it over the shoulders. I feel like it's just chic, simple. Think of styling it the way that you would a sweater. Right. Don't over complicate it. I love the around the waist, but I do feel like it's a little bit trendy. But if that's your style and you're loving it, do it by all means. Is that harsh? It might be, but that's just my take for summer dressing. I do think it, like, falls into, like, the jelly sandal category for me of things that just feel really trendy. However, I'm a big believer in having an arsenal of scarves. I do. I have a basket in my closet, and sometimes I'll wear them around my shoulder. I will wear them in my hair sometimes. Sometimes if I feel the vibe again. Like, that feels a little trendy to me, but I really think that you should always have them. I mostly wear them over a bathing suit. Like, that's always my vibe, whether it's like a sheer sarong style or, you know, a proper scarf. Like, I took a Burberry scarf the other day and wore it over a bathing suit and loved it. But, yeah, that's my take on the scarves for the summer. Okay, last question. Oh, gosh. My favorite question. What are your go to brands for wedding guest dress season? Raise your hand if you have a wedding this summer. I only have one. I talked to someone the other day who told me they had 14. That's like, literally one every other weekend, is it not? Like the three. Three months in summer? 4:12. That's. That bleeds out of summer. That means you literally have one. Maybe they said 14 this year. Godspeed. I have one. As I mentioned, it's in Idaho. It's one of my best friends. I'm very excited about it. I'm thinking of, like, should I do some theme dressing? I'm not gonna go full cowgirl vibes, but I'm thinking, like, something that feels western and, like, fits the space. So stay tuned. Let's see where I land. I do have a few really great places that I will always look first, always look resale secondhand vintage. Whether it's your local vintage shop or places like Depop, I really recommend it. I found so many great one of a kind dresses. We all I think have that like fear that we're going to show up to a wedding wearing the same thing as someone else. And I will say I do think when you shop on really, really popular websites that everybody's on, you have more of a possibility for that to happen. So I would try to go for those more one of a kind unique places that will give you something that feels really special and great. I also really love and I've styled these for the Today show so I can say I give my stamp of approval on them. Meshke actually makes great dresses at an amazing price point. We styled this like red sequin one for the holidays this past December and I was so impressed with the way it hugged my model's body and the way that it fit and held her in so many in all the right places. So I would look at Meshki for sure. I would look on the tariff tax situation to make sure that everything's good there. I haven't ordered from them on my own so I would check into that. But I love their pieces. I also really love asos. ASOS is killing it with dresses right now. I am so impressed by their very designer inspired but at an affordable price point selection. I have found so many great pieces on there. I've styled a lot of pieces on there for the Today show and I just find that they have a really, really great assortment if you're looking to invest in a dress. I love Oola Johnson. I feel like it does not get the credit it deserves. I think a lot of people see it as commercial but once you style their dresses I think you will fall in love. I have worn so many of their dresses for weddings and love it was actually a dress from them that I'm considering for this wedding. So again, stay tuned on that. I also think brands like ALC make really great dresses that you'll wear again. So one thing I always try to advise for when you're looking for wedding dress dresses is what's a dress that you can find that you will wear to different weddings? Obviously, yes. I am the girl who anytime a wedding comes up, I convince myself I need to buy a new dress. We are all that way but I've been trying recently to buy dresses that I feel like I can get a lot of use out of. Obviously usually we're talking about different friend groups, we're talking about different, you know, crowds like, you don't want to wear the same dress twice within like the span of a month with the same friend group. Like, I totally understand that and relate to that. But I try to find dresses that you can re wear as, you know, through different summers, different weddings, different occasions. And I think ALC does a good job of like, classic but interesting cool dresses for weddings. Also, do not sleep on the Tory Burch sale section. I literally screamed this on the mountaintops because I feel like a lot of people don't know about it. The Tory Burch sale section is incredible. Sometimes I found dresses on there that I've loved from the Runway shows and they're like 50% off. So if you have a summer wedding, I feel like Tori is great for like those summer kind of fun pieces. Go look at the Tori sale section. I am always buying pieces from there. Great pants, jackets, tops, the whole nine yards. I actually like have it saved as a tab, which is really dangerous and not good for my wallet. But you know, I love a good deal.
