Meet J, they are a rising 3rd year medical student with an interest in general surgery, who is currently studying for STEP 1. They graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2019 with a Psychology major and Chemistry and Medical Anthropology minors. As a Black queer nonbinary person living with a chronic illness, they view their identities as strengths that fueled their passion for disability advocacy and equitable care for marginalized groups.
