I've definitely been in this phase of wanting my wardrobe to feel simpler but better. Fewer pieces, more intention. Things I can actually wear on repeat without thinking too hard. That's why I've been loving Quince lately. Quince is all about elevated essentials that feel absolutely effortless. Pieces you can layer, mix and live in without ever feeling boring. They really nail those staples. Think 100% organic cotton sweaters that feel soft but substantial. Premium denim with stretch that's actually comfortable all day. And luxe cotton cashmere blends that are perfect for those in between seasons when the weather can't make up its mind. These are the kind of pieces that quietly become the backbone of your closet. What I appreciate most is that Quince works directly with safe, ethical factories that cuts out the middleman. So you're not paying for some giant brand markup. You're just getting high quality clothing made with really thoughtful materials. They use things like 100% European linen and organic cotton and you can actually feel the difference. The stitching, the fit, the fabrics. It all holds up season after season. I can't tell you how much I'm loving my new cashmere sweater. It's one of those instant staples I keep reaching for, whether I'm dressing it up or throwing it on with those jeans. Honestly, it's the kind of piece that makes getting dressed so much easier. Hey, I'm Molly Sims.
A
And I'm Emisha Gormley. We're two girls obsessed with one thing. Beauty.
B
And by that, we mean everything that makes you look and feel beautiful.
A
We're calling on our favorite health experts, industry insiders and friends to answer all.
B
Your beauty questions with a drink in hand.
A
Definitely with a drink in hand.
B
You're listening to Lipstick on the rim with Molly Sims. This week we're going to be talking about fashion hot takes.
A
I mean, you give us a mic and an open floor to talk and prepare for a three hour long conversation.
B
Prepare. It's our solo episode. It's hotly very dangerous. And I got to tell you so during my Coachella lacrosse weekend extravaganza, a lot of women coming from all over. So it's so fun. But you know how Emisha and I love an outlet mall. You know who we gotta have back on is Michelle Collins. Michelle, if you're out there, we love you.
A
We love an outlet. Jackie Schimmel also loves.
B
Jackie Schimmel loves an outlet mall.
A
So. So outlet mall. We need to. That should be an episode on the road in the mall.
B
So I was so tired and the kids, they wanted to ride with their dad. Like, feel free to ride with dad.
A
Love it.
B
Didn't know I was stopping at Cabazon. I only went to Celine, you guys. Not only did I score, but I scored for my co host.
A
You called me in the midst of mayhem and I of course answer and you're like in the Celine store. And I'm like, what are you doing? And I mean as a, as a true best friend does. She had already honed in on the things that I would like. I immediately George, our new bestie at Cabazon Celine texted me. Hi, George. George. Like, we gave him our credit card. I was like, just ship. Just ship straight. Whatever you need. Can I just.
B
You did the toys work for. So Selma, who I work with, we are obsessed with thrillers, podcasts. We have a new podcast. It might be old to some, but new to me. It's called Bone Valley.
A
Bone Valley. Okay.
B
Bone Valley. Just waste away 17 hours of your life, but it's fantastic.
A
Bone Valley podcast. Well, I just am watching a show. Not. We're obviously here to talk fashion, but I do need to talk. It's fashion and dead bodies for us.
B
Exactly.
A
The show is Eric Bana, who, by the way, hot. It is so good. It's called Untamed and it's Eric Bana, Sam Neill, who I also love. Like, amazing. It is just. It takes place in, like, the top. It's in the parks, like, not Wyoming. I think it's actually California, technically. I don't know. All I can say is I have been staying up way too late watching it.
B
Oh, I cannot wait. He's. He's Australian. All right, so we're going to play each name one category, then decide. Buy, save, splurge, or skip.
A
Okay.
B
Coats. Okay.
A
I'm gonna say a coat is a splurge. You're wearing it every single day. Especially if you're on the east coast. It is your outfit. Nine times out of ten, when you walk out the door, it is what you. What people see. Like, you don't. Unless you're going in somewhere and taking your layers off. Your coat is your outfit. So invest in at least one beautiful.
B
Coat and a good puffer. Like a good. Like a vest. You can layer. I think in a. My Celine outlet purchase, I got a. I got a vest puffer, navy blue, super chic.
A
You will have that. Like, I think a nice coat. Like, I have this tweed coat that I got from Isabel.
B
You love that.
A
The brown.
B
The brown.
A
People always think it's Chanel. I'm like, it's not. And it is such a statement piece. Like, I think and you. And a really good tip, by the way, because I actually found for years I buy things off season. So when you see a coat that you love, like, keep an eye on it. And then as soon as spring is. Is around the corner, all those coats get marked down.
B
All of them do. I got my totem marked down. My shearling that I love, love and think shearling too. Like a good suede jacket. Nor what's it called? Norar.
A
And poor beautiful, beautiful shearling jacket from Nora Moore for again, it's. It. It is a lot. $2,000 is a lot. But a shearling coat for $2,000 is actually a really reasonably priced fur investment. And it's shearling. So you're not fur. Fur. It's. I don't know. I just think the coats that I've had for years, they're the. The girl math maths on all of them.
B
Also think quints. Think Massimo duty Mango. They make great coats and normally they're pretty on trend.
A
Yeah, I. I totally agree with that. And then to go back to, like, your outlet purchases, like, find an outlet mall wherever you're going, don't be afraid to dig in there. I have a Chloe coat from the Woodbury Commons outlet mall dating back to pre Mike. I bought it. I still have it in my. In my closet. It is just this navy, simple coat. And I remember at the time I paid $700 for it, which felt like an insane amount of money for me. And that was 15, 16 years ago, but it's still like chef's kiss.
B
I have my Chloe peacoat. It's so good. I can't even tell you camel love it.
A
But those are the things I. I'm a big believer in splurging on at least one great coat. You don't have to splurge on a trench. I don't think, like, you can get a great trench from. I have one from Mango that I love. You have a really beautiful Celine one that I love.
B
Oh, my God. I love.
A
Like, I love. So stunning. All right, bags, Bags.
B
I say splurge.
A
I say splurge too. Again, it's your outfit. And on most days, you know, I.
B
Think, listen, that row bag that you got Subaru to get me, what's it called?
A
The Idaho.
B
The Idaho. She's been. I mean, she's. She's been through it and she still looks good. Like, I have had that bag for three and a half years. I mean, things have spilled. Like, it's all leather. You can take it and get it shined up and oiled.
A
It's.
B
It stands the test of time.
A
I mean, listen, like, the nice thing I think about where we're at now is that there are so many brands out there. Like Manu Atelier. I got flooded on Instagram with all these, like, cute French chic girls running around the streets of Paris with these menu atelier bags. Little Lifner I think, makes incredible bags, and they're all under a thousand dollars.
B
Graviel, Monsieur. Monsieur Graviel.
A
Mons. Were Janessa Leone makes amazing bags. Hunting season Hunting season has had some of the most beautiful bags and their price points, especially in their evening bags, are spectacular. So I mean personally for me it's a splurge, but I think that there are so many great options at a attainable price point that you can still get the look for less. Foreign.
B

Okay, I don't know who needs to hear this, but the I'll start holiday shopping later era is over. This is your sign to start now. And honestly, Jenny Bird has made it so painless that it doesn't even feel like holiday shopping. We've been obsessed with Jenny Bird for a while now. Their pieces are modern, elevated and somehow work with everything. But heading into the holidays, they've become my secret weapon. Because here's the thing, everyone loves Good jewelry. And everyone loves jewelry that makes them feel instantly cooler. Their collection is full of those guaranteed yes gifts. The bracelets, the earrings, the monogram necklaces. It's all so beautifully designed and wearable. These are the pieces people put on once and never take off. Plus, they ship fast. Hello, last minute shoppers. I see you. And the packaging is so thoughtful, you don't even need to wrap it. It's like gifting that literally takes zero emotional energy. That might be the greatest holiday miracle of all. Put simply, Jenny Bird is the gift that never misses. You can get 20% off your first order with Jenny Bird by visiting jenny-bird.com and using code lipstick at checkout. Can I just.
B
I'm gonna bring this up right now. Okay. So I was scrolling, I don't even know on Instagram. This is like a couple months ago. And I read about these two girls. Now I don't know who the two girls are. I'm like, God, this is a great, like, app, tech startup. They raise a ton of money. Meanwhile, it's called FIA P H I A. It's Phoebe Gates, Bill Gates's daughter and her best friend. Honestly, it's amazing. You takes you a second, you have to put in all your information, but every time you start to shop, it'll give you like a little blue button on the side and you hit it and it'll tell you where to everywhere else to get it and how much it is. It's kind of amazing. And it goes one step far further. It'll say, okay, maybe you want to spend less. It'll show you four less. It's amazing, Fia, right?
A
And that's unbelievable. I. I reverse engineer searched a pair of sunglasses on this girl that I follow on Instagram. She's French. Her name's Alex Rivier. And she's just insanely chic. Like, everything is like monochromatic. She's just stunning. And she had these insane sunglasses. You and I like the same style sunglass. So you'll love these. I took a picture of it and I uploaded it into Google Image search, and sure enough, I actually asked her on Instagram who makes it? But I didn't hear back from her. And then this morning I did. And Loro Piana. I didn't know Laura Piano made something.
B
You know who has a great New tortoiseshell Celine. I just got them for Christmas for myself.
A
Wait, remember? I showed them to you in the city? I was like, I feel like these would look good on you. And you were like, I just bought these. We literally like the same sunglasses.
B
We like the same sunglasses. And we actually gave each other the same Christmas present this year, so it was fun. Okay. Oh, let me just say, Seline, what's the name of that bag with the blue?
A
It's the new Trio.
B
It's a new Trio bag. They have it in, like, a beige. They have it in a maroon with kind of an orange inlay suede. It sounds awful. And black with a royal blue and lace suede. So chic. I'm obsessed with it.
A
I love everything that Michael Raider is doing for Celine. I think it's late. Cool. I think it's finally bring that, like, old Phoebe Philo excitement I know brought to Celine. I think that's where we're at again. And it's so fun to watch, especially because of accessories. Like, I die over the big belt buckle.
B
I like the Celine. New sweatshirts. He is out.
A
Shoes.
B
Emma shows.
A
Because no matter what, in my opinion, they need to be comfortable. And expensive doesn't necessarily mean comfortable.
B
I do love some high, low on a shoe. I love Dolce Vita. Margot.
A
Margot Vianney.
B
Milano is very good. V I A N I Milano.
A
They make the most precious velvet Mary Janes. They're so good. Le Monde Barrel makes amazing shoes.
B
Okay.
A
And then.
B
Scarcity. Scarroso. Yeah.
A
Makes. I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, but I'm just gonna say it anyways. I am pretty sure they are a leather manufacturer in Italy that manufactures for pretty much most designers. Because I have now gotten two pairs of shoes that they sent that I'm like, oh, my God, it looks like a Bottega boot. It was like, a beautiful winter boot. And they have the. The cuff around the ankle is like the. What is it? The Bottega. What they call it the Introchado. The woven. I mean, it is stunning. And I think it retails for, like, $500. And it's beautiful.
B
I will say for spring coming up, you do need a dark tan sandal. Like, that is a safe Dior sandal.
A
I bought you last summer.
B
The Dior sandal you bought me, but also the manola you made me got me by Manolo.
A
And there's a great brand that I discovered, like, maybe about six months ago. I think they're like two girls in Paris. They're the brand is called Noma. Say. Oh, no, it is again. It's kind of. I think what's been really nice is that these brands have kind of come about that are. They're not the high end, expensive luxury designer brands. But they're still like. I think their boots are still like around 6, $700. But they're beautiful, well made, chic, comfortable. No Ms. Say, I got this pair of chocolate brown ones that are like the perfect like heel height. They're chic. There's just like little design tweaks to it that are cool. So you don't have to buy like a Manolo or Chanel.
B
Okay. Denim. Denim is very personal. But I definitely think it's. I think it's worth spending the money. I just do the perfect fit, the perfect jeans. If you do. Kate, you can't eat all day long. So if you're. You're gonna look amazing in them, but you cannot eat. They have no stretch.
A
Yeah. I think the thing for me with denim is I am not. I don't believe in giving up a fit that works on you because it's not in style. I get it. Skinny girl. Denim is out. Like, I get it. That ship sailed. I still remember, like, remember J Brand. They used to be skinny jeans. Like J Brand was everything but I love a vintage Levi. I think everybody needs a vintage Levi, a flattering barrel.
B
Kate Pistola. I freaking love. I love Legine because of you.
A
Legine. I love. I personally wear a lot of Silver Lake.
B
I love Silver Lake. And you guys, it's spelled S L V R L A K E. Yeah.
A
I also, I'm going to tell you, I like ask denim a lot. They make really comfortable denim. It's a lot of my flattering pairs. If you're my height, which is not Molly's, I'm five four and I. The one thing that drives me nuts with jeans is I won't try a pair on. If I pick them up and I see that they're going to be too long on me, I don't even try them on because. Because the truth is, is that if you shorten jeans for your height, your. The proportions end up being kind of off. So like the way it falls on your leg. So there's a brand that I have. They. I wish they cut the same paragon. I don't know the name of it. The woman that started it started it specifically for 5 foot 4, average height women. And it's called Nell Atelier. N E L L E Atelier. And they make the best jeans because they hit at the right spot for us 5 foot 4 gals. I really, really like that brand. I think they do a good job. And then, you know, I have an obsession with vintage denim and I will say Nan Collective, like, picked out a pair for me last year sight unseen, just based off of pictures she saw of me on Instagram. Knowing my body type, asked me what size I am in a few different styles. She mailed me a pair of jeans to try on one pair.
B
She's told the story 54 times, but. Yes, but.
A
But honestly, like it. It's mind boggling to me that she picked out a pair of jeans that are so personal and they fit me like they're, to this day the most complimented jeans I own.
B
Also love a nilly low tan. I just got a new pair of nillies that are the button ones all the way up. They don't have a lot of give, but they, they're very flattering and very slimming. Basics.
A
I already know your answer here. I know your answer.
B
I do. I think you should splurge. I do. I think I wear my Kate T shirts. Perfect tees. Not expensive. Sold out. Not expensive. But they are worth the money. A little bit more than like just your average. But I'm telling you, there's nothing better than a great white T shirt, a belt, a great pair of jeans. Nothing chic.
A
I totally agree. I totally agree. I think a white T shirt is like the foundation.
B
Get a white, get a black. Get an ivory tank tops and a navy tank tops from Totem. They're great.
A
Also, I do like the sold out tank top. Does. Lisette does great white T shirts as well. You can get two for like $138 or something like that. I think that's a great one. Um, I mean, we. We essentially said splurge on everything. Just.
B
We did. We basically said splurge on everything.
A
Let's just recap that for a second.
B
Recap. There's no. There's no saying there's.
A
As a friend of mine, there's no skiff. She goes, I'll look fabulous when I'm filing for bankruptcy.
B
Fabulous. We're gonna go to Saks and we're gonna look fabulous. I mean, that almost put me under, but I don't think it's going to go. I don't think it's gonna go.
A
We're good. We're good. Foreign. Something new isn't just hard. It is genuinely terrifying. I remember the moment right before we launched this podcast, sitting there thinking, Is this actually the right decision? What if absolutely no one listens? What if it totally flops? There are so many late night doubts that creep in when you're building something from scratch, but choosing to make that leap even with all the uncertainty ended up being one of the best decisions I myself have ever made. And honestly, having the right tools makes all the difference. That's why something like Shopify would have eased so many of those early worries. Shopify is the commerce platform behind millions of businesses around the world and 10% of all e commerce in the US from major household names to brands that are just getting started. It gives you a built in design studio with hundreds of ready to use templates so you can build a beautiful online store that actually looks like your brand. Sign up for your $1 per month trial today at shopify.comlipstick go to shopify.comlipstick that's shopify.comlipstick I have been really intentional lately about getting more fiber and protein into my everyday meals and honestly the easiest change I've made is swapping in Herobread. It's such a simple upgrade to my usual bagel sandwiches, avocado toast, tacos, even our Taco Tuesday and burger night rituals. Little shifts like that actually help me hit my goals without feeling like I've given something up. Herobread is soft, fluffy and genuinely delicious. Their bagels are amazing. I've been loving them for breakfast because they have 19 grams of protein and still taste like the real deal. Most products have 0 to 5 gram net carbs per serving, 0 grams of sugar and they're high in fiber which makes fitting things into my macros so much easier. They have got everything sliced bread, tortillas, buns, bagels, plus these small batch drops.
B
People go crazy for.
A
I am eyeing the Hero Buttermilk biscuit with 1 gram net carb and 2 grams net carb Hero Croissant HeroBred is offering 10% off your order. Go to Hero Co and use lipstick at checkout. That's lipstickheroh e r o.co let's talk about dressing for winter blues. I have suffered from that A lot more. My biggest hack in the winter is to play with texture and to add like layers are a little interesting. I find I dress very boring most days. I love a scarf. You know how I feel about a scarf. I mean I. I have a scarf collection now and it's. I have different colors for different sweaters and it's how I get dressed. It's so weird. It's. The only way I get dressed in the winter is with a scarf.
B
I bought a scarf. I think it was from Hartford. I got it at Jill Roberts. So good. She curates very well. If you're local to la, she curates really well.
A
I think she actually sells online too.
B
Also ought in New York. Curates very well.
A
I listen. My little tea and oranges.
B
My little tea and oranges.
A
She is the. The gift that keeps on giving to me. In town I actually discovered a scarf brand from her because Hermes is obviously expensive. She carries a brand called Maison le Compte something. It's French and this little like French designer out of Paris. The scarves are under $200 a scarf. Beautiful prints. I think the other French brand that I like for scarves is. Call it by your name.
B
Yeah, the bandana Love.
A
They make beautiful bandana scarves that they can't keep in stock. I have.
B
I have. I don't not buy them, but I have a black bandana that I wear on a bag. I wear it as a sarong. I wear it as a scarf.
A
It's just super chic. Guest in residence. I mean she can't keep them in Gigi Hadid. She's actually. Side note. We should have her on the podcast to talk about her clothing brand.
B
I love her brand. I love all the kind of polo rugby. I wore the cutest rugby shirt from superwoman. S P R W. Yep. It's so good. It's like it was. Cashmere was a purple and brown chocolate brown stripe. So fun, you know. Makes a good stripe too.
A
Is Clarivee Claire V white and Warren does white and Warren striped sweater that I'm obsessed with. It's a rugby. But there's also another brand that I discovered actually around the corner from Dr. Marnie in the city. It's called cushion Kushtan. I don't know how to say it. K U J T E N. It too is a French brand. Cashmere is what they like specialize in. They do beautiful. I mean I wish my kids would wear it, but they actually make these beautiful bandana cashmere crew neck sweaters. I. I'm probably gonna have to get one for Milo because, like, he's the only person small enough to. My kids pick what they want to wear and it's oversized sweatshirts from China. But like.
B
It'S funny, I passed by the BonPoint Alpha outlet and I thought, I'm like, RIP, never happening again.
A
Never happening again until we have grandbabies. But Christian makes really beautiful pieces. I'm particularly impressed by what they have. And it's not. You won't see everybody wearing it.
B
High sport pants and investment. I love a high sport. They're comfortable, they're chic, they're flattering, they don't wrinkle ever. You can get them in every color. I love a monochromatic. Clearly I'm wearing all black, but I'm very into it. It's been now like eight months. I'm like. And I'm also into a leather skirt. I was in New York at Thanksgiving and at Christmas a little bit. And then I was in, in January and I wore a beige long leather skirt. I wore my black goop I've had for four years. I love it. I. I switched twp shirts with it, sweaters with it. I layered. I loved it. I think a skirt, a leather one, and the high sport pants. Amazing.
A
I actually, I think you must have inspired this pick for me. I got this chocolate brown suede skirt that's just to the knee from Nora Moore. It's from my Teresa and I wore it well. I haven't actually worn it yet. I tried it on because when I got it, I was like, how am I going to wear this? And I tried it on with a pair of knee high chocolate brown suede boots. So it's kind of your monochromatic, like the leg and this, it just really like looks lean with like a camel sweater tucked in. It was so pretty. I don't know where I'm wearing it yet, but I got a great outfit to go somewhere.
B
Why does everybody keep talking about the dopamine dressing trend?
A
I don't actually understand what it is. I really. Young folk explain it to us old ladies.
B
It's a trend. So basically, I think when it's really cold outside and you're like trying to get yourself dressed.
A
So what you're saying is wrap my scarf around myself in 19 neon colors. It's a dope.
B
Exactly.
A
Cool. Cool. Got it.
B
We did a little IG poll. Rosie took a an IG poll for us from a few women. This is our first ask me anything. Okay. Victoria asked, is it okay to wear athletic Wear outside of the gym. Yes, absolutely, Victoria. Yes. But not seven days a week.
A
Yeah, exactly, exactly.
B
Lisa Hart asked, what are our hot takes when it comes to shoes?
A
I say buy fewer pairs but better pairs. Like, have one great ballet flat.
B
Have one great boot. One great tall boot. Have a great. Go to Hunter. If you live in somewhere cold, rainy, snowy, icy Hunter boots. They're waterproof. They look chic as shit. You can pretend you live in England.
A
Yeah.
B
And just invest in it. And I love. I mean, I love a chic legging with a Hunter boot with a raincoat or like a puffy.
A
I mean, you have the legs for it. I tried to pull that look off.
B
I saw you do it again.
A
Now I look like a garden troll. Like, I didn't. It was. I was like little stumpy McStumpersons in that look. But it's fine.
B
Lindsay Winnick Foley. Legita Harkins. Want to know our thoughts on barrel jeans?
A
I'm down.
B
I down.
A
I love. It has to be the right barrel. Like, I have a pet peeve when it looks like you can, like, squat a bowling ball through someone's legs like that. I don't want to look bow legged. I want to look just slightly barrel.
B
Linda Murphy, Okay. She said Adidas shoes. The tennis shoes are so unoriginal. Agree or disagree.
A
And why I disagree.
B
I disagree.
A
I think that chic black samba with like, me too. And even I'm. I'm super into socks right now, guys. Like, I ordered all these, like, socks from Falk.
B
I like Falk. Yeah.
A
But they make these beautiful sheer pantyhose. I have them Navy socks. They're like little socklets that I wear with my ballet flats. 10 out of 10. And you can wear Adidas. I think it's so cute.
B
F A L K. Alias thongs or granny panties? I got both.
A
Both, Boo. I. I am granny panties. And I'm going to take it one step further. Spanx. Granny. Actually, no, it's not Spanx. I actually need to go into Amazon and find these underwear. I've bought it at Bloomingdale's. They're vile because I've owned them for so long. They're called tummy control, guys. Not sexy. Like, literally the antithesis of sexy. But, man, they are comfortable. They don't roll down, they don't roll over your fat roll.
B
I love commando. I love skims. But I do love, like, I like.
A
A heavy duty, though. I want you to snap, like, if.
B
You'Re wearing white jeans.
A
No, you can't do that.
B
You Got to wear a thong. I'm sorry, you cannot see the. You can see no underwear. Go naked. Jennifer Salt Clemna says the Roe bags are stupid. Too big, too expensive, and the Hermes game is overplayed. Jennifer, we might not be friends with you. We. We agree to disagree. We're going to agree to disagree. My ro bag has been with me three and a half years. I've taken her 75,000 places. She stands the test of time. My Betty Burkin is 31 years old and I still love her.
A
I just, I think, listen, I think people have their opinions. I look at like, I will say when I look at a million influencers running around with that Hermes mini Kelly, the one that like barely fits like your keys in it. I am, I've. If you put one in front of me and said take it, I'd be like, I'm good. I don't want that. Like so. I understand your point, certain aspects of it. But I think if you're a die hard bag lover, you're not going to think it's overplayed or you're not going to think it's a waste. I just think it's what you're doing. Personal preferences are.
B
Jen Klaminsky asks skinny jeans in or out?
A
Out. I am gonna say they're out.
B
I do like a straight leg.
A
You took the words out of my mouth. 100.
B
I love a straight leg. I wear like, I love a Celine, I love a Kate. I love a pistola. I love an a Goldie. I love a straight leg.
A
There is a great style of silver link that actually I wear the crop version. You could wear the regular. It's called the London from Silver Lake. It is universally flattering. It comes up higher, sucks you in. It's a great, it's kind of a little bit of like a hybrid between.
B
A skinny and a straight Jacqueline Baska chunky sweaters. Do we like them? Do we hate them? I mean she's in a chunky right now. We're trying to find a Brandon Maxwell chunky look. I think you have to be careful. Everything can't be chunky. So a big jacket with a scarf with a chunky like you gotta like tone it down. But a chunky sweater, no jacket. I would definitely do more of a straight jean or a legging or just like a high sport pant, something very thin on the bottom. But I love a chunk sweater.
A
And I also love his legging with a boot, like a knee high boot. That's just such a chic look.
B
Lauren Micah younger asked how one should dress at the airport Sweats. Uggs versus jeans. Pull together.
A
I like a pull together look.
B
I like to pull together. You know what? You don't. Can I tell you why people take you more seriously?
A
Jasmine Ponty says white shoes and white bags, they're a no for me. Agree or disagree? I hate white bags and shoes.
B
I love a white tennis shoe.
A
A white tennis shoe, Avi. But a white.
B
Like I don't buy a white bag because it's going to get dirty and it's going to stain against my jeans. I know that sounds weird. Not a white bag kind of person. But I do have a wallet on a chain. White from Chanel.
A
That's different. That's different. Like a white shoe. Like I saw someone wearing like this like hideous white patent loafer and I'm like, you look like a cartoon. Like, you look like. It's just not a good look for me personally. My thoughts anyhow.
B
I'm Tara Palmieri. I'm an investigative reporter and I've spent a lot of my career reporting on the worst of the worst. I'm the new host of Broken Jeffrey Epstein. But forget Epstein. He's dead. This season isn't about him. It's about the people who are still alive, the victims seeking justice, and his co conspirators and enablers who are trying to hide. Listen to Broken Jeffrey Epstein wherever you get your podcasts.

Love it or Leave It Winter Trends Edition. We're gonna run through a list of winter trends and say whether we love it or leave it. Pistachio green. Love it or leave it.
A
Leave it for me. You leave it. Yeah, feather embellishments. Love it or leave it I'm gonna love it.
B
And I wore a feather. I looked like kind of a stuffed flamingo at the Golden Globes, but I had feathers. And Michelle was like, that looks fucking hideous. But I still wore it anyway. In pink. I think I pulled it off. I did.
A
You pulled it off. You looked beautiful.
B
But I don't know. I like a feather embellishment. I wore this dress to Demur Klass's wedding. It was a butter yellow, and it had the top with, like, feathers. It was so fun. Past summer. I loved it. I love that wedding, too. Vintage inspired slip dresses.
A
I love it.
B
I love it. You know who just crushed the globes? Is. She's dating. Who's the cute boy? Henry Styles. Harry Styles.
A
Oh, Zoe Kravitz.
B
Zoe Kravitz dating Harry Styles. She fucking crushed.
A
They actually is such a cute couple. I wish. I'm pretty much here for that couple.
B
Me too.
A
I love it. I think, like, I wore one of my favorite outfits last summer. It was not vintage, but it was this Vince chartreuse slip dress. And I wore it with, like, an oversized stripe navy and white T shirt. Do you remember that?
B
Yes. We both have it.
A
Both have the same chartreuse dress. You're right. 100%.
B
It's so good.
A
Best. I love it.
B
I love it. They make it every year. It's really good.
A
It's a really good one. All right. Polka dots. Love it or leave it.
B
I love a polka dot.
A
I do, too. You wear a polka dot really well.
B
Also, going back on the lingerie. Love check. Fancy makes it great. I wore one this summer in, like, a coral peachy pink. Whatever. Loved. Okay.
A
Polka dots.
B
Love it, love it, love it. Oversized and baggy jeans.
A
It's a. Leave it for me because I am too short to pull that off. Like, I don't. It just overwhelms me. I think it's something that looks better on a taller person.
B
Knit bandanas.
A
I mean, I love bandana, so it's a Love it for me forever. Fair Isle print.
B
But you think bandana's still in.
A
I love a bandana still.
B
I mean, I do, too, but I mean, I don't know. Okay. Fair Isle print.
A
I love a Fair Isle print.
B
I don't really.
A
No.
B
This is what we argue about. I know it sounds weird.
A
I love it. It makes me think of Thanksgiving and November and skiing and apres ski. Yeah.
B
Faux fur jackets. Love it or leave it. Love it, love it.
A
I actually got an amazing one from Tea and Oranges. It looks like it's chocolate Brown mink. And it was $400 from the brand Hartford.
B
That's the Hartford.
A
That's.
B
I got the scarf from there.
A
I mean, I almost borderline want to go and get it to show you because it's such a good jacket, like, and it's sold out everywhere. And it's faux, but looks so real.
B
Winter whites.
A
I want to say I love it. I just never do it.
B
I love it. I love. I love.
A
Wear it tomorrow, maybe.
B
I love a winter white pant. I love a white jean even in. I'm like, love it.
A
Yeah. What about animal print? I know. I know how you feel.
B
Depends.
A
See? I love it.
B
I know you do. She loves it. We still have the same Louis Vuitton animal print. My mom had that big mama.
A
That one, too.
B
With the pink with the graffiti writing.
A
Oh. It's just. It's. I think leopard is a neutral. Okay.
B
Trends we're leaving behind.
A
I would probably say I'm onto the peplum. Peplum is very hard to pull off. You have to have a very specific.
B
Is very hard. I'm also very mixed because I just ran that trend into the ground as a puffy sleeve. I mean, this is a little, like, Kate number that I got a puffy sleeve. I just. I don't know.
A
Can I tell you a trend that I really hate, Tommy? The damn pillbox hats. It's so. Try hard. It literally infuriates me. And there's, like, a few influencers that I'm seeing on Instagram, and I'm like, if I. I can't comment because it would be rude and I need to keep my inside voice inside. But right now, I'm sharing my thoughts with you guys because it is dumb. You're not Jackie.
B
I don't love the mini. Like you were saying, Those mini. Mini bat. I'm like, what is that? Like, what is even that West?
A
Like, the little ones, the long handles, like this size and this long handle. It looks like something your grandmother wore in 1962. It's not cute. It's not chic. It's ugly. I'm good.
B
We gotta stop. We've been talking for. This is supposed to be 30 minutes.
A
We've been talking for an hour. I love you so much.
B
I love you so much. Clearly. Follow us on Substack Images. Just tell me more. Mine is just mine.
A
She's like Madonna.
B
It's just Molly.
A
I'm telling me more because I can't shut the fuck up ever. So. Hey.
B
But you know what I have to say? What's Your New Year's resolution this year about buying clothes.
A
I am buying less and buying better quality and purging. I have been purging guys. Fun fact. I am actually being purged as we sit here.
B
She hired someone.
A
I have someone who has been working with me now for a week.
B
The called accountability. She can't throw anything away.
A
And she is militant with me. She is like, I mean, I would. I'll go up to my bedroom and have a heart attack because there's, like 600 pairs of shoes on my floor. And she's like, okay, we need to go through these. And I'm like, I don't want to part with any of them. This shoe I wore in 2007. Do you know how amazing this shoe is? And she's like, 2007, like, we're good. Move on.
B
It's funny, you know when the 2016 trend came out, when you posted we did it. God, I was. What happened to me in 2016?
A
Jesus.
B
That was a bad year.
A
You look great.
B
You look great. I mean, I liked my hair, but I was like, what the fuck? Did the first picture. I think I had them archive it. It was so bad. The first picture was, like, a floral dress, a leather jacket, which was so in. But then I had the Celine back, but I had on, like, the weirdest stilettos that I'm like, how this was just awful.
A
Yeah, I mean, it was awful. I do love certain people who. Who posted their 2000. Oh, Andrea Loveland. Andrea Loveland posts Andrea's lookbook. She says pictures. She looked chic and timeless. Every picture could have been 2026. I was like, this is timeless style.
B
I did not look timeless. I was very. I was very. Because I also, like, I just had scarlet. I was very into braids.
A
Oh, yeah, you love to braid. You loved. You loved boxer braids.
B
I love to braid.
A
All right, well, I think we're. I think Rosie's telling us to stop talking, to stop talking.
B
Okay, Goodbye. We're not saying anything else.
A
Goodbye.
B
