How did you get into fashion? How did you become you?

Okay, so I was born and raised in Beverly Hills, like you said, off Benedict Canyon, to be specific. My mom is Swiss, fully Swiss, from Zurich. My dad is American. They met. They had me. I went to French school my entire life. So I was around French people who are very fashionable people. My mom was very into fashion my whole life. And my dad was an architect and a builder who also had really good taste. So I think like fashion, architecture, just tastemaking in general. Was really like, around. I was like, it's inherited.

You were born into it.

[Morgan Stewart]

I was born into it. It was just like I grew up in a really specific house. There was always just like clothes and design and stuff being talked about in front of me. And so I think it was inherent. Like I just. It was who I was. And I've always been really interested in clothes.

Always. Since you were young.

[Morgan Stewart]

Always. And it was like such a pastime with my mom. We went to Barney's, rip. We went to Nie and Saks and we were, you know, when Sunset Plaza used to be the chicest place in the world.

Il Soleil. You remember, like, Laura Urbanati. It was a random, right? Okay, so there was like a store on Sunset Plaza. You'd get all these like, bathing suits that were so special.

Not to be so dramatic, but it's just one of those things you live. It's a new reality. You just kind of. And every. I think I saw a TikTok that was like, you're 75% happy and 25% sad about every good thing that happens to you. I don't know if that math adds up, but it was basically along those lines. 35. It's like this ball of, like, fuck, dude. It's so irritating that you're not here. And what's weird lately is when people are like, oh, my mom and dad. I'm like, we don't have both of those anymore. That's weird. Nobody. Like, how are your parents alive?

My cell phone still has mom and dad when my dad calls. And it was actually, I swear, probably about the last month that my phone rang. And, you know, Apple Siri goes, mom and dad. And I looked at my husband, and I was like, I think it's time for me to change this. And he was like, no. He goes, you keep it. Mom and dad.

That's a sign. That's like, a sign. That is not, like, an accident. That is definitely dad being, like, our mom being like, hey, like that. I totally. That was one thing. I will say, that brought something up randomly. We got rid of my dad's phone number quickly. And that's one of those things where I like his WhatsApp photo change. He didn't have a WhatsApp photo, but it changed to something else. And I was like, oh, ooh. Ooh, a little. That was a little. That was a little fast. We could have just kept the ringer off, maybe. So those. Those things you should hold on to, I think. Are we gonna be. Are we gonna make it through? We're gonna make it. If we stay here, it's gonna be bad.
