Luke is joined by the incredible BAFTA nominated Amandaland and Motherland star Philippa Dunne, who plays long suffering friend of Amanda, Anne. She talks about how she got into TV because it looked like massive craic, and she and Luke compare notes on how going to the BAFTAs is a LOT of clapping. Plus, horror movie fanatic Philippa is put to the test on her fav films, although DO NOT come near her if you are a waxwork, statue or mannequin. Hard NO. And Luke’s joke about repeating answers in French completely backfires when Philippa responds in perfect French and reveals that her mum was a French teacher(!) C'est gênant ! After the episode with Maisie Adam, Luke has one thing on his mind: how well would he do on Last One Laughing?! We’re not saying he can fart on command or anything but…. he *can* fart on command. Plus Luke and Jan get into it following a confession about service station antics - how far would you go for a free ride?! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

The incredible Maisie Adam is today’s guest on Live, Laugh, Luke! Maisie chats about Soccer Aid, and her social campaign got people to know that it is actually a different event to the World Cup. She also talks about weird covid gigs in car parks, gigs so quiet you could hear a poppadom snapping and how she’s had to add another 25 dates to her already massive Whatsherface tour! Plus, Luke has a go at telling some “jokes” and gets absolutely roasted by Maisie. Oh, and if you’re Maisie’s auntie - we’re sorry about laughing about your furniture on FB marketplace(!) It’s been SO hot, and Luke and Jan are talking about everyone’s summer nemesis: hayfever! But why do we have to get the jab from the botox lady and not the pharmacy?! They chat about going to Coco Bongo’s in Mexico, and swimming with dolphins (or not!) And there's retirement home antics(!) Oh, and don’t forget to drop the names xoxo Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Welcome back to Live, Laugh, Luke where Jan is in recovery post surgery and is under strict instruction to do nothing - no hoovering or driving, so she’s absolutely milking it! In more medical updates, Jan tells us about her prostate test (no, we didn’t think she had a prostate either!), and a sh*t on a stick that she did for her bowel test. And back at the Hamnett house, Dave’s had his fish nicked by a heroin user/heron. We’ll let you work that one out. SHAMONE! There’s a game of guess the lyric, and should you be asking your partner permission for things? Let us know what you think in the comments… Learn more about your ad choices. Ok, we’re sticking with Just, Jest, Jan! This week on JJJ, Jan and Luke talk about letting your guard down after Luke was bullied at school. And would you travel 4 hours for a shag?! It’s maybe a weird thing for a lot of people to be discussing with their own mother, but not round here! And Jan gives her advice to a struggling mum. ----- Live, Laugh, Luke Podcast Sponsorship enquires - Email: Emma@elryagency.co.uk Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

This week’s guest is the incredible Charley Webb, who you might know as the iconic Debbie Dingle from Emmerdale! She looks back on her incredible 19 years in the soap, and tells Luke about nudity on screen and giving birth in a barn. She and Luke compare notes on ADHD, from being overstimulated to forgetting to feed your kids(!) Charley talks about how she can sometimes come off as cold when people first meet her, cue watching Luke self-diagnosing himself with autism in real time… Charley gets real about co-parenting and they get deep and talk about alzheimers, and coping with grief after Charley sadly lost her mum earlier this year. Oh, and there’s also zero sympathy for a listener who confesses about leaving all of their possessions behind in London and having to book a hotel :( ----- Live, Laugh, Luke Podcast Sponsorship enquires - Email: Emma@elryagency.co.uk Learn more about your ad choices. Welcome back to another episode of… actually we don’t even know what it’s called at this point. Anyway, this week Jan tells us how much she loves Adam Peatty as we head towards the podcasts’s first birthday! And what do snitches get? Well DI Don will tell you(!) Plus Jan gives some very valuable advice to a listener about the menopause. ----- Live, Laugh, Luke Podcast Sponsorship enquires - Email: Emma@elryagency.co.uk Learn more about your ad choices. Luke’s been to NYC for 48 hours to hang out with the Sugababes at 38,000 feet where the wifi is 10/10 and he made Australian news. Jan flew first class once, she drank 11 proseccos, fell asleep and woke up in Mexico….! Meanwhile Luke had a wild night out in New York, which was almost scuppered when he trusted a fart that he shouldn’t have. But he made it to a gay bar and got to see more than he bargained for. You’re welcome in advance for Luke explaining to Jan what ‘getting eiffel towered’ means ;) Most importantly though, Jan has had surgery and brings an update about her health… and her gag reflex. AND there’s a game based around movies - is the answer Snow White or Brokeback Mountain? Who knows - but they are close(!) Oh, and Jan talks about a dick wall. Nope, we don’t know either. Luke and Jan debrief after their incredibly accurate reading with David the Medium, where he shared details about Luke’s beloved Nan that only the family knew about. What an amazing experience! And of course, it’s episode 2 of Just, Jest, Jan, and it wouldn’t be right without your highbrow confessions and dilemmas; CAN the Dr tell if you’ve just had anal?! Plus Luke shares the heartfelt way he came out to his Nan. See you on Thursday! x Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
