Melissa C. Butterworth
Thank you.
Ray V. Gutierrez
You look amazing.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Thank you. It's fantastic to be here.
Ray V. Gutierrez
I actually realize those are studs. Like, those are, like. That's, like, very hot topic of you.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Thank you.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Hell, yeah. Thank you. I'm so into the vibe. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. I'm so into this. Melissa, what brings you to Miami?
Melissa C. Butterworth
I actually live here.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Really? Where?
Melissa C. Butterworth
Yeah, I do. I. I have a home in North Miami Beach. I also have a home in West Palm Beach.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Oh, very cool. Just.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Just hanging out here with you today.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Oh, cool. We're going to be kicking it in West Palm in a couple of weeks. We're going to be filming Serena Willems episode. So that's happening December 11th exclusive.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Wonderful.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Don't tell Rudy I said that out loud, but it's happening.
Melissa C. Butterworth
I love Serena. I grew up playing tennis competitively myself.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Hell, yeah. And she's.
Melissa C. Butterworth
She's incredible.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Yeah. Very cool. Well, there's Serenas over here, but this is all about you, Melissa. Again. You live. You live out here in Florida. You know what it's like. You know what? What? The energy is happening out here. We got the Bezos. We've got all these monks, skunks, and billionaires moving out to Miami. There's an energy here, and it's clearly here, and we're thriving in it. Do you want to talk about that a little bit? Expand what it's like to be a Floridian in 2026.
Melissa C. Butterworth
It's so incredible. I mean, it's nuts. It is incredible. It seems like everybody from California and New York and just other parts of the country are coming to Florida.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Yeah, they've figured it out.
Melissa C. Butterworth
We got the beaches, we've got, you know, the arts, we've got incredible shopping. We've got major international airports. The people are all diversifications. And we've got phenomenal restaurants.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Yes, ma'. Am.
Melissa C. Butterworth
And not to mention we've just, our state has, has got it going on. Let's, let's face it.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Oh, yeah, yeah. There's this, there's, there's this grit that, that. I was born and raised in Miami, literally right across the street where Elian Gonzalez was. I went to Miami Senior High, I did the whole Miami experience. 8090s kid. And here I am living the red life and, and being among folks like yourselves and like ascending and helping my folks progress and understand, like there is more to life than just Miami. Then Florida, you know, traveling out to the West Coast. We, we talk, we spoke about a monk as well that's also one of your mentors that has his own podcast, you know, and returning from that San Francisco experience for 10 years and thriving, that energy and coming back to Miami, it's almost like there's so much that we have so much work we gotta do out here. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. And it's cool to like be thought leaders in this reality and go, dude, we can all ascend together and we can do it in style and very Miami like, or West Palm beach like it is. Oh, absolutely, it is.
Melissa C. Butterworth
I mean, if you could see what Palm beach is like now.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Oh, dude.
Melissa C. Butterworth
I mean, it is incredible.
Ray V. Gutierrez
I wonder why. It's just one thought. I, I like to call him Grandpa, like because I, I grew up with a grandfather very much that, that mindset and it was just like, it's like a door closes, we'll break the window open and break in and, and, and thrive. Well, let's talk about how that is essentially your North Star. Actually, let's talk about your North Star. Expand. Like what wakes, what gets you out of bed every morning?
Melissa C. Butterworth
You know, I have to say that it's knowing what your purpose is. You know, I wrote a book called Clues and it's really all about helping women find their God given purpose.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Oh yeah.
Melissa C. Butterworth
And I think when we find out what our purpose is, what our why is, what our passion is. You know, I'm up at 4am, 4.30am and I get the majority of my work done by 9am not good. It just love what I do.
Ray V. Gutierrez
I nap at nine, I wake up at one and then I do like three hours of work, go back to sleep and then up at 5. It's very bizarre. I'm like, this is, this is my rhythm. I'm going to just go for it. And then I just set alarms. I'm like, this is, these are bizarre times that mean nothing to me. Like, because I've just like just recently. You can even ask Rudy. Just the transition and the transformation on just hosting these podcasts and listening to folks like you. And like there's something very divine. And once you, it's not buying into it, but understanding that faith driven entrepreneurs are very much a thing. And once you lean into that and you, you say it live on camera, constantly, there's that consistency. Talk about how important there is grit and then there's consistency before you even dare think that you're going from self employed to entrepreneur.
Melissa C. Butterworth
You know, that is a really, really great point. I was talking about that the other day. You know, it's one thing to have grit resilience, but you have to combine it with day in and day out, consistency. Big wins. As you know, big wins don't happen overnight.
Ray V. Gutierrez
They don't.
Melissa C. Butterworth
And you know, it's, it's. Let's just say you want to be a top professional athlete, right? You start small, get up in the morning earlier than you would normally get up. Like I said, I'm up at 4:30 in the morning, 5am and just start with a 10 minute walk. Next day, 20 minutes, next day, 30 minutes. It's all about consistency. And it's the same way in entrepreneurship. I've had my company for 22 years and we just hit the $2.4 billion mark right on. And so, yeah, it is, it's pretty badass.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Yeah.
Melissa C. Butterworth
I have to tell you that it's day in and day out consistency. It's waking up early, it's doing the podcast, it's doing that, you know, things that you don't always necessarily want to do. Yeah, that's the key.
Ray V. Gutierrez
And it's crazy because it's like how silly to be in 2026 and be like, I have to wake up and do a podcast. Oh, poor you. Oh wow. Like, it's like we live in a reality where it's like on, on my Uber to, to work, I, I wrote three songs using my chatgpt for, for music. And I'm like, we're living, we live in a reality where everything has been so like gate kept where it's like, no, this is mine now. With AI, it's kind of released it to the masses where everyone can now be an influencer, a celebrity, it to really guide these new voices and be like, you can thrive and make money and then do your four hour week and then you could still live life in ascent. Like, how do you speak to your tribe, your village, your followers? If you say, yeah, you mean about
Melissa C. Butterworth
how to find a balance or as
Ray V. Gutierrez
in like, when you speak to your folks that follow you, your community, how do you address them? Like, are you talking business first? Are you talking energy? What is. How do you communicate?
Melissa C. Butterworth
You know, I'm pretty raw and real.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Right on.
Melissa C. Butterworth
And I take it all the way back to my farm days.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Cool.
Melissa C. Butterworth
I take it all the way back to my farm days and the things that I learned when I was really, really young that I apply now kind of dumb it down and keep it simple, you know. And I think people like authenticity. And so, you know, I'm known as Mel B. The warrior for women.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Right on.
Melissa C. Butterworth
And, you know, I just keep it real. And I'm all about like telling real live stories, both the good and the bad, because I don't think people just need to see the good for sure. Right. So I have a lot of content that, that describes the really hard times as well, because I'm normal. Just because you see me that, you know, I've got this massive success story, it doesn't mean that I haven't had incredible trials and tribulations. But the bottom thing, the bottom line for me is that at the end of the day, I talk to my audience about how they can turn their pain and to their purpose.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Oh, yeah.
Melissa C. Butterworth
It's all about taking what's been painful in your life and turning that into your purpose.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Or do you. Or do you talk about your shadow self and kind of figuring out that version inside someone and helping that person be themselves? Like.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Absolutely.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Yeah, sorry, that question was bizarre. But yeah, it's not bizarre at all. Shadow self.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Yeah, yeah, that's not bizarre at all. I mean, it's. There's. There's actually a whole study about shadowing and your shadow self, which obviously, you know.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Oh, very much so you've done the work. Yeah, my grandma did most of the work for me. She raised me in a certain way. That makes a lot more sense now. When I speak to folks like you, they're like, well, my grandmother's a white witch from Cuba and she can read your cards and she can read your divine energy the moment you walked into the room. And she raised me since I was 4. I grew up with ghosts and frequencies and shadow ghosts and seeing the shadows speak to me and understanding that's Funny. And then understanding the difference between a room full of energy beyond us and a room without it.
Melissa C. Butterworth
That's pretty incredible. You know, I allude to it in my book Clues.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Nice. Where's your book? Throw it over here.
Melissa C. Butterworth
I've got a phenomenal.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Get over here. I want to come here. Don't throw it. Okay.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We've got a phenomenal book closed.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Thank you. That's awesome.
Melissa C. Butterworth
I never come out. Higher frequency. Right on God.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Yeah, yeah.
Melissa C. Butterworth
I let the reader figure out thyself.
Ray V. Gutierrez
That's awesome.
Melissa C. Butterworth
What Clues is. And you know, I'll never forget Steve Jobs saying that it's impossible to connect the dots. Moving forward, you kind of look back. But I'm going to challenge that. And I challenge that in my book Clues because if you can get to a subconscious and conscious level.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Oh, yeah.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Where you start recognizing the people, the places, the voices that you hear, the shadow self, you start recognizing it, then you can actually start connecting some of those dots moving forward.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Oh, for sure, for sure.
Melissa C. Butterworth
It's pretty cool.
Ray V. Gutierrez
For sure. Yeah. It's interesting how folks are just now understanding the spiritual reality or the different frequencies and they're tapping into it. I've had guests here that are mapping out the DMT reality where they've intravenously figured out we can take the 15 minute DMT experience into an hour or two, just intravenously, and they're going to start mapping it and they're going to start sending people to this island. And it's quite the healing process. It's prayer times 10,000. Do you feel like we're just like we're not supposed to be doing this, but we should be doing this like 30, 40, 50 years ago, folks like us would be called crazy. Now. It's very common that folks are aligned with this sort of philosophy.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Yeah. And I think everybody has their own philosophy. Whether it's, you know, for me it's God. Absolutely same because he was the creator of the universe. So for me it's God. For other people, it might be intuition or it might be energy or whatever it is that they call it, but I think that this country needs to kind of get back to those core basics. We've lost touch with reality. And at least for me, I've made it to the $2.4 billion mark without having AI.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Sure.
Melissa C. Butterworth
And I made it to that mark without having all the social media. Amazing. And how did I do it? It's God.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Yeah.
Melissa C. Butterworth
And I give 100% credit to God for that.
Ray V. Gutierrez
That's amazing.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Yeah.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Leading with faith. Do you feel? And I apologize, we may not even use this, because I'm just curious, as a Christian, I was saved at nine. You see social media, you see how we imprint ourselves on these devices. Don't you still think it's a little diabolical how this works? It's just like it says it in the Bible. What we're doing is just not correct. This is not life. And we're doing it to these devices. And, like, the mark of the devil is literally this device. This is the mark of the devil. This is what we do all day. This is what we've become. Don't you think the bad guys have won long ago? Like, it's quite sad, isn't it?
Melissa C. Butterworth
I don't know. I mean, I'm always the kind of person that, like, thinks incredibly positively.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Good for you. Yeah. Yeah.
Melissa C. Butterworth
And so I look at everything, everything a lot differently. Like, you know, you're gonna hear in my. In my episode about some tragic accidents that I went through as a young child. And I think it really was going all the way back to the very beginning of my life where I heard that whisper from God.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Wow.
Melissa C. Butterworth
During some pretty traumatic times. And, you know, I always look at things as positively as I can. So why the rest of the world is just, you know, freaking out about, like, the latest gossip or, you know, what's going on on social media or what they're reading in the newspapers. I'm out there creating my own life.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Isn't that awesome?
Melissa C. Butterworth
Yeah.
Ray V. Gutierrez
That's why I kind of just use AI because I created this AI Altar. I'm like, well, this is the creature alter ego that I've created to thrive in the social media. And I haven't published in seven years. I'm about to in 2026, and I'm already mentally preparing myself to jump back into this noise that I was doing very well ten years ago. But listening to folks like, you know, and coming from an authentic experience, I'm like, well, the way I keep myself authentic, I have this device called the remarkable, which is something I write in. And I can see how my day went if I had a stressful day or a positive day by just the temperament of the way I write. And like, that to me is like, that's me connecting and actually feeling the whole human experience, because I can see how my day was just based on my energy, how I wrote.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Oh, it's fantastic.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Versus
Melissa C. Butterworth
published that you are so evolved. I mean, you really are. You're an old spirit.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Thank you. You've done the work.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Yeah, I can see it. I can tell.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Thank you.
Melissa C. Butterworth
I applaud you for that. That's great. Go, Grandma. I think your grandma had something to do with that.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Oh, yeah. She's standing right here. So what are we going to learn about you in your episode? Like, give me, like, the arc, the beginning, middle, and end in 90 seconds.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Sure. So you're going to learn how Melissa Conley Butterworth has turned her pain into purpose.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Great name. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, it's just like, if you don't get it right when you hear I'm like, eh, move on.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Exactly. Exactly. And you're also going to learn, not only have I turned it into my purpose, but I have built a $2.4 billion empire by helping other people achieve their legacies.
Ray V. Gutierrez
That's amazing.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Isn't that.
Ray V. Gutierrez
That's amazing. How qu. Curious. Why don't you just round up 2.5? Like, you don't round up. You need to mark a little more 2.5.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Actually, at three weeks, it'll be 2.6.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Well, there you go. Oh, hell yeah. Touche. I love that. I love that. You challenged me. You won.
Melissa C. Butterworth
That's right.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Thank you. Thank you. Gosh. Let's go right into it. How can people learn more about you, buy your books and just be obsessed with you? Do you have a website? Do you have a dot com.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Absolutely. So I am at www.advantestrategicpartnerswithan s dot com.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Nice.
Melissa C. Butterworth
Also, I have a podcast called the End Game, which is on YouTube and Spotify. Hell yeah. As well as Apple. And then in addition, you can Juni T. Is a company that I have invested in with Jay Shetty. So you can go check us out at any of the Costco's targets. Erons.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Right on.
Melissa C. Butterworth
And now Whole Foods all over the place. And my three books are all on Amazon. The End Game clues. And then the end game for hospital executives.
Ray V. Gutierrez
Wow. I am in for a treat. This is going to be quite the interview. Thank you so much, Madame Buttersworth. I hope that you enjoyed our podcast here at the Red Life. And for. Yes, for Inside Success. Actually, let's do it this way. This is Melissa C. Buttersworth, and I am Ray V. Gutierrez. I just made up my middle name. And we are Inside Success. Sam.
