A
My advice to the villain is to figure out your purpose, figure out what you're here for. Go on a self discovery journey of who you really are and why you are who you are. Like, why do you have that inside of you? Why do you feel that it's probably part of your purpose, it's something you can help other people with because like you said, there's a whole bunch, there's a whole market for it.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
So I would say start with a self discovery journey and really figure out, like, who am I?
B
People are making money off of fear, making money off of anger. It works.
A
Yeah.
B
People are hustling. How do you navigate that energy and still be genuine to yourself and prosper through positivity and affirmation and love?
A
I think it starts with my name's
B

A
Yes.
B
Welcome to the show.
A
Thank you. I'm so excited to be here.
B
You're vibrant, full of energy. Something tells me that we just finished filming your episode for Women in Power.
A
Yes.
B
How do you feel?
A
I feel so good. That was so much fun.
B
Right on.
A
I was worried about how like if I just had to sit there and speak and you're such a good like
B
there and speak, like I'm going to
A
forget stuff or go in circles. But you're such a good like lead with that.
B
Right on. Thanks, thanks, thanks. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right on. You were, you were such a great person in the chair to speak about yourself. What will we learn in your episode? Give us a preview.
A
So we talk about how to manifest and remove money blocks and, and create just a magical life for yourself and also just roadblocks and how to navigate them and how they actually are good for us to form us into who it is that we're here to be.
B
Hell yeah. All right, let's talk about, let's talk about meta's festing first. A good manifester is always a good storyteller. East coast born, Miami, west coast born. Talk about your, your fairy tale life that I would tune in and watch every Friday night. Between Saved by the Bell, Full House. Like, I grew up watching television. That was centered around your upbringing, Right? Tell us more.
A
So I was born in Ventura, California. It's like a little beach town in California.
B
Yeah.
A
And then my dad owned a restaurant in Pasadena and he lived in West Hollywood and I spent all my weekends there.
B
Yeah.
A
And I know, like, it's a cool story to talk about and I don't. I don't realize how cool you really should be.
B
Like, West Hollywood, dude. Yeah, I know, I know. Grit and grime.
A
And my daughter actually moved there when she was like 16 or 17. She was like, they were both born in Washington and my oldest daughter was like, I'm going to la. I need sunshine. I was like, I get it.
B
Absolutely. Yeah. A lot of that energy that I discovered when I moved out to the west coast is something that is not very prevalent in Miami, at least in the 80s and 90s. It's very, very prevalent now, which is interesting to see that energy come from Austin, the Bay, Louisiana, New York, even. Even Eastern Europe. Like, there's. There's all this crazy energy that's being manifested in Miami. It almost feels like it was actually me all this time in my room going, Miami needs to be cooler. And now we're. Now we're technically in the Future because it's 2025. Yeah. But there's still not flying cars yet.
A
I think we're close.
B
Folks. Hear this and go, ah, some west coast foo foo stuff. I'm like, dude, it's everywhere.
A
It is everywhere. And it's really like. I think it sounds woo. Because it's like, oh, think positive and stuff's going to happen. But that's not all of it. You have to take action. You can't just go, I want a million dollars and expect it to show up on your doorstep.
B
And it just fell. As I was going to play the Rain Shower, I knocked our backup mic. Did my screen crack? No. And it's 11:22. Yay. That's a good omen.
A
Magic.
B
Magic. Carry on.
A
So I think that's what people miss is they think, oh, it's just woo woo. Because you can't just wish something there and have it show up.
B
Sure.
A
But it's not. It's about having a positive outlook, having clarity on what it is that you want. Understanding there will be roadblocks, Being able to navigate the roadblocks and then taking action. You have to do your part and then the universe carries you over the finish line for sure.
B
It's funny because you grew up in a very normal, healthy upbringing. But that, that doesn't mean that you, you know, you still face some trauma. Yeah. You were married to alcoholics, you faced some darkness. You, you stared the shadow right in the face and goes ha fu. Talk about, talk about that.
A
Okay. In my earlier years, I probably created most of my own trauma just through, you know, I'm an experiencer. Like I want to try everything. I don't want to feel left out. I'm kind of like a trailblazer. But even with bad things, like I was like, I just need to try it. All my friends would be like, we're worried about you. And I'm like, oh come on. You know, and I just keep going. But it ended up working out for me in my adult life because I kept that same energy for positive.
B
There's a lot of negative out there that's very noisy, the frequency. And folks are monetizing on it. It's product market fit. People are making money off of fear, making money off of anger. It works.
A
Yeah.
B
People are hustling. How do you navigate that energy and still be genuine to yourself and prosp. Through positivity and affirmation. And love.
A
Yeah. I mean, I think it starts with self love because when you love yourself, you don't, you don't worry about is someone judging me or somebody saying things about me or it's like if I told you your eyes were purple, you'd be like, okay, psycho. Like it wouldn't affect you because you're nobody's wrong.
B
Right.
A
But when you're not sure about who you are and you think like, oh gosh, maybe my eyes are purple, then you start to get self conscious about, you know, so really like a strong self understanding of who I am, why I'm here, and just loving even like the not perfect parts of myself.
B
Sure, for sure. You've coached and been mentored by some great, great folks. I kind of want you to name drop, but I also want you to make that correlation to your religion and how it all kind of like connects together. And you've essentially created your own holy trinity and sort of monetized it. Talk about that experience.
A
So I was raised Christian with my mom and there's some great teachings in that. I think that every religion is great for the person who's experience experiencing it. I think at the end of the day it's all the same thing just with different man made stuff on top of it. But whatever feels good to you and makes you like in that place is the right thing for You. So as I journeyed out of the Christian church, I try. I went to the Buddhist temple and I tried the Gnostic religion.
B
So did Jesus.
A
Yeah, right.
B
I know.
A
I just tried all these different things, and I was like, gosh, there's so much that I believe in each one.
B
You walked around for 30 years going,
A
okay, right, I know. I just don't want any rules. That's what I can't do with organized religion, is like, don't tell me what to do.
B
Yeah. Lucifer Hammer in the middle of the desert going, can you believe this, jc?
A
Lucifer, like, bro, no, I can't do it.
B
What am I doing now? You gotta do this thing. Damn it. Again.
A
Again.
B
When will I ever learn? Yes.
A
So that. I mean, that just kind of pushed me away from organized religion because I was like, don't tell me this is gonna happen to me if I do this. Like, I don't do good with fear.
B
Fear.
A
You know? So after that, I started really reading the Secret and Understanding Manifesting, and that led me into Tony Robbins, who has been, like, a huge inspiration for me for years. But he led me to Dan Martell, who's now my coach, who is like, he's just incredible. Like, he took my mind to a totally different level. I thought I was a big dreamer, and then I met Dan, and I'm like, whoa, there's so much more I could do.
B
Yeah. I take moments of reflection where the last eight months, I've seen and interviewed so many legacy makers, women in power, just so many energies, so many entrepreneurs, and so many different levels of their journey where I'm like, I feel like I'm on my fifth ascension. So you hear it, and I'm just like, wow. I have, like, the fellowship of 300 entrepreneurs that have downloaded all this data into me. I go, okay, I guess I'm up to that. Yeah. What do you tell to someone like me that is a fresh soul that is onboarded onto your coaching program?
A
Well, it depends on what you want to work on. So I guess clarity and what it is that you want. Because I have struggled with being like, niche because I can help with so much. I've been through so much. I've trained under so many amazing people other than Tony Robbins and Dan Martel in the spiritual world. I've trained Reese San Agustin, and then I've had Mommy on Ami is one of my people on Instagram that I work with. And there's just all these really cool people that have taught me, so. So now I can help you with spirituality or manifesting or being a business owner. And I can help you with business and relationships. You know, I've been through hell in relationships, and people come up to my husband and I all the time in public, and they're like, you two have the best energy. And it's like, we'll just be sitting there, and just randomly, a stranger will come over. But it's like, everyone deserves that. Like, everyone deserves to have that kind of. He's my biggest supporter. Like, I couldn't do what I do if I didn't have someone that believed in me that, you know.
B
Yeah. I'm sure your. Your neighbors are the luckiest folks on the planet to have you guys. You guys are very vibrant. So I'm here to attest it, like, homeboy sitting right there. And it's. It's just been great vibes the entire time, but I got to attest to that to the west coast water. There's something magical about the west coast of the country versus the east coast, where you think of Miami, New York, you think of a lot of, like, anger. Like, you think of, like, the Caribbean islands that have gone through hell and back, and they're just immigrants. There's this energy in Miami that's been always angry. You can see it in our traffic.
A
Yeah.
B
What do you talk to folks like me that go, hmm, I'm more of an antagonist, and you're more of a protagonist. There isn't a lot of folks speaking to antagonists. If I want to be coached by you, and I go, well, I want to create your program, but twist it for the antagonist. It's the same voice of the holy savior Christ, but it's told in a different light. What, do you talk to someone like me and go, there's a whole market out there. How do we talk to them?
A
Yeah, coach me. Okay, so antagonist more like, you feel. We just explain what you mean by that.
B
Everyone's always celebrates the supervillain.
A
Okay, okay, okay.
B
It's time to celebrate the supervillain because there's a reason why that MFR is pacing up and down the hall and staring out that window. What's that man thinking about?
A
Yeah, okay. Okay. So I think that. I don't know. I still think everyone deserves to be happy, and I think you can be happy as an antagonist, right?
B
Absolutely.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah. Happiness is a luxury where I come from.
A
Yes.
B
Remember East Coast, West Coast?
A
Yes.
B
And I.
A
But I even think, like. I mean, the people I talk to mostly at this point are on the West Coast. And, I mean, even we're Just like walking through the airport and everyone looks upset and angry when they're fighting because
B
they're creating it in their own. Yeah.
A
And I think when you pull yourself outside of it, you just look around and go, is anyone even happy? Like, what is going on? And then when you ask they what would make you happy, they're like, I don't know. I'm just not, you know. So I guess to go back to your question, I think it's deciding what you want.
B
Yes.
A
Getting clarity, which I keep like drilling like clarity is so important for all of this. But also, I mean, is the villain negative?
B
No.
A
Okay.
B
It's not negative.
A
Just a name. Yeah. It's just a villain. Okay.
B
Let's just energy. Yeah.
A
Yeah. Okay. Because I just.
B
A dramatization. We created it to tell a story. Okay.
A
Okay.
B
But it's. It's the story of the positive, the negative. Going, I won this way. Going that way.
A
Yeah. Okay. So then I guess my advice to the villain is to figure out your purpose. Figure out what you're here for. Go on a self discovery journey of who you really are and why you are who you are. Like, why do you have that inside of you? Why do you, why do you feel that it's probably part of your purpose? It's something you can help other people with. Because like you said, there's a whole bunch of. There's a whole market for it. Oh, yeah. So I would say start with a self discovery journey and really figure out like, who am I?
B
Sure. Talk about manifestation. Let's go right back to your source of power. And how can someone be aware that they are a wizard? You're a wizard, Harry. Like, like great power comes great responsibility. Those cues that artists have left in movies and books and poems, those. The. Hey, wake up.
A
Yes.
B
What's your cue? What? What is a way for you to wake up someone that's watching this and then go, wait a minute, I'm a lot like her. Yeah. Holy shit, she's right. Yeah.
A
So look at the life that you're experiencing. It is a direct result of the words that you say, the thoughts that you have, the programming that you have. And if there's something that you want to be different, that's what you change. You undo the programming. You tell yourself a new story. In fact, my first coaching company was Rewrite with Tess. Because it was like, rewrite your story. And it was all about like, how do we just a new story. And I think when you start telling yourself a new story and create a new story, like that was just your last chapter. What's the next chapter?
B
Disney just took it to the next level. He just built the theme park. He goes, I'm just gonna let him build it.
A
Yes, yes. Yeah, but I just think that you can. Whatever you want it to be, you just have to change, like, the feeling behind it. The feeling is huge because you can't just say, I'm happy. Like, that's not gonna work.
B
What do you talk. What do you say about the. The super eccentrics that took it to the next level? Like the Michael Jacksons of the world that built the fairyland, that built. Even. Even was persecuted because he was just a little too eccentric.
A
Yeah.
B
What do you talk about to those folks that are no longer here? Like, the David Bowie's, the real stars?
A
Like, what do I think of them as far as manifesting goes?
B
Or how do I. As a. Yes. As a matter of fact, yes. Because they're essentially projects of the manifestation and they literally built it or created alter egos, depending on an album.
A
Yes.
B
Ziggy Stardust is not David Bowie.
A
No. Yes. And I think that to them it's like, those are inspiration. Like, that's how big manifesting can be.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
All of us have that inside of us. All of us can unlock that and create anything that we want to create, for sure. We just have to allow ourselves to dream bigger, allow ourselves to believe we deserve it, allow ourselves to love ourselves into that. And I just think they're a great inspiration for what's possible.
B
Awesome. How can folks find you, discover you, and learn more about you?
A
So probably most of what I do is on Instagram, which is tessanylayher, l a y h e r and also testinglayer.com, you can sign up for my coaching community. And if you're in Maple Valley, Washington, you can come into our Crystal Shop. Clear, calm and balanced.
B
I love it. Just hang out at the Crystal Shop.
A
Yes.
B
It's such a great moment, such a great morning with you. Is there anything else you'd like to add?
A
I call it the sour sweet spot. So it's when you're like, I believe this is going to happen. You're putting everything in. You've reprogrammed, like, your thinking and you're thinking more positive. And just like, you think you're doing everything right and then everything falls apart and you're like, what? This doesn't work. Like, everything's ruined. So in the tarot deck, the tower comes before the star and the tower is representation of everything falling apart. So that it can be put back together the way that you want it to be. So you're asking the universe to change your life, but you don't understand that you can't keep doing what you're doing. In order to have the life that you want, you have to change. Like, you have to be broken down and rebuilt. Your life has to be be broken down and rebuilt. And so when the sour sweet spot hits, I tell people, like, they'll be like, everything's ruined. Everything's going bad. I'm like, is it sour sweet spot? You know, it is if you've been doing everything and then. Right. You know, it's the. Right before the miracle. Don't give up five seconds before the miracle.
B
The emotional intelligence to. To pivot to a situation like that is really. Want to know how long does it take now, that sour spot, Is it five months, five days, or even five years? So that's where I feel like the real math comes into play, where it's like, can you sit still for five years and know that greatness is coming?
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
Because if you can sit still still for five to seven years and know that it's coming, then you deserve it.
A
Yeah, you absolutely do. But I think if you want to go even, like, more weird, like, time's an illusion. Right. So, I mean, it. It takes us however long you think it's gonna take.
B
The only thing that's similar to every single dimension, every single light sourcer is just gravity.
A
Yeah.
B
The only thing that transpires through light authority is just gravity. That time is just an illusion. It's all compressed totally. Yeah. My. My ultimate theory is, is that we're actually dying. We're actually living the moments right before we die. But life moves so fast and speed of light that God created a brain to slow it down to a point where it's called life. But we added this, and we already. Exactly. That was it.
A
That makes sense.
B
And I just died. And I'm back.
A
Here we are back.
B
I'm back. Oh, that was it. There it is. And with that concludes foods, another episode of the Red Life podcast.
