Hey folks, Aaron here. Welcome back to another edition of Deeper Lore, a bonus episode designed to serve as a topical guide to the most recent episode of Lore. Why? Well, over the years I've learned that a lot of folks enjoy listening to episodes about certain topics, and it's common to hear a brand new episode and have it spark an interest in finding other stories that might be related. But with over 300 episodes to sort through, I am fully aware that it can be hard to track down specific ones. Believe me, the Lore team and I are constantly trying to find things that we know we've covered, and it's even a challenge for us. So this bonus episode here is my attempt to offer a guide for all the folks who want to go a bit deeper into the folklore we covered in the newest episode this week. This week for episode 272, tick tock, we get very esoteric. So much of folklore is really foundational stuff, things like death or fear or witchcraft or murder. But this week's episode unpacks a really weird corner of folklore that has to do with time. Visions of the past, time related devices with supernatural powers, those sorts of things. It's a little different from our normal fare, but also really, really intriguing. But believe it or not, this isn't the first time we've gone off the rails like this. So here are three older episodes that will pair up nicely with this week's brand new one. First episode 154 adding it up it's not exactly about time, but it's definitely one of those episodes that steps outside the expected and explores a really weird part of folklore. This one is all about numbers, which could be super academic, I know, but we opted for giving you a good mix of neat facts and chilling stories. Do check it out. Next go download episode 157 hanging on for this oldie. We took a look at the concept of immortality in folklore and examined some historical figures that were rumored to live beyond their expected lifespans. It's a fun one, so don't miss a chance to revisit it this week. And finally, I recommend you go listen to episode 192, time will tell. This one brings us right back to the idea of time, specifically time travel. I honestly think it's the perfect companion episode to this week's new one. So give it a listen or a re listen and see if you agree. And there you go. Follow up this week's brand new episode with a trip into the past this week, pun intended. Episodes 154, 157 and 192 are waiting for you right in this podcast feed. You can just scroll through your app to find them or you can tap their direct links in the description for this episode. And until next time folks, stay spooky. This episode of Lore is brought to you by Progressive Insurance Fiscally responsible Financial Geniuses, Monetary Magicians.
