With empowering knowledge and upgraded habits, we can keep medications for when they really do save the day - we’re lucky to have them, but the aim is to ensure a ‘genuine need’, not ‘quick repeat fix’ if there’s a broader piece to work on for a better long game. I never knew with all my migraines in my late teens/early 20s, that burning through a pack of Paracetamol/Codeine combo pills a month was not a great idea for my liver. I also became resistant to Amoxycillin by 28 with chronic tonsillitis - that’s what led me to naturopathy, learning about immune system strengthening, addressing food intolerances and then going onto look at more day-to-day products and BOOM: Founding the Low Tox Life as a blog in 2009 when I saw how any good-better-best options there were to switch to - and even more now 15 years later!

Since 2014 I’ve been bringing incredible experts together in more structured ways of learning for specific goals away from the internet noise. We have 10 courses at Low Tox Life to help support your goals. Our in house practitioner, Lisa Waayer, a naturopath and building biologist, has been hard at work with me these past few months, upgrading our 10 courses to ensure they’re 2025-up-to-date.
