Mad Liberation - A podcast about being mad enough to liberate ourselves and each other.

Established in 2023, ethereal hosts Strawberry Gelato and Gen Da Playboi present Mad Liberation, a podcast with live-audience recordings that highlights Chicago’s Black and LGBTQIA+ community.

Formerly known as “No Place Like Home Talk Show,” this rebranding better reflects the hosts' attitude - they’re fed up with the system and ready to make some noise. Frustrated with how Black queer artists are tokenized, overlooked, and receive the bare minimum, these MAD ARTISTS decided to create a platform to connect and empower. Each episode features an interview with a local baddie striving for collective liberation - be it through art, performance, providing resources, or their service to the community.
