When Meet the Press turned the tables and let the guest ask questions (Dec. 24, 1950)

Inspired by the spirit of Christmas, Meet the Press invited Sen. Paul Douglas (D-Ill.) to try his hand as a moderator and ask questions of the panel. “It is a novel experience for a politician to have the chance to question the members of the press,” Douglas said. “Until this afternoon the shoe has always been on the other foot.”
