Foreign. Hey, what's going on, guys? Welcome back to the Mike Forest podcast. We're back. I just got back from the gym. The first time in the gym, oh, six months. So most of you guys know I've been dealing with back issues. I've had two lower back, one upper back surgery, a whole bunch of health issues that I feel like I'm just coming out of now. I do have a personal trainer, Ben Light. Ben Light is a ultra marathoner who's trying to get me to do my first sanctioned. Is that word, is that, is that the thing when you just do it by yourself? I guess it's not sanctioned. So whatever that mean. Organized ultramarathon. He just wrote this article called Body Mind Connection on health and wellness. I will link that down below as well. But Ben is putting me through, basically starting from scratch and building me up until I can get back on my feet where I used to be. I mean, I, I used to be an elite athlete. I used to do everything. I used to do marathons, 5Ks, 10Ks, all obstacle courses, competition. Even when I taught for my own company, I would make it really physical because I love to be physical when I was in shape and I could actually move. So I'm just getting mobility now. The feeling is coming back to my left leg because I lost all feeling in my left leg almost all the way up to my hip and that's scary. But I'm coming back. Health and Wellness will be a series that I'm doing on Mike Glover channel on my YouTube here in 2026. Not because it's a New Year's thing, but because it's become more of a priority in my life and I got the tactics down. I mean, peptides, for example, which I've done them all with, whether it's beyond wellness or longevity farms, I've navigated the ones that are good for me. I'm just going to show you what I've been doing. Um, even Carnival. I'll link a discount code because you guys should get this for your loved one. This is not to me, this is not just freeze dried food for preparation. I just had this for breakfast. A single serving has a ton of protein and it constitutes via water and then salt. It constitutes faster than you could thaw out top sirloin. And I eat it every morning for breakfast. So I, I have these things that I'm doing that are optimizing my health and wellness and I feel a lot better, including hitting the Bible every single day as a protocol. I'm looking at My Bible, I'm opening it up and focusing on throughout the day scripture and then implementing that in some way and then having the conversation with my family. It's super important. All right, so let's get into the meat and potatoes. This podcast, there is an uncensored version of this podcast on my Patreon called Monday Sit Rep because there's a whole bunch of things to talk about, but they all involve violence and protocols of things that you should not do. Like, I just did a reacts video for Matt Glover channel on Brown University students hiding in a library waiting to die. And I, I don't say that lightly because I, I take it seriously that the government has a protocol that sets these people up for failure in a worst case scenario. Yeah. Best case, they're locked in a library and the police come and rescue them like they did. Worst case, the shooter accesses the library, they have nowhere to go, and they're literally sitting and laying down in the floor of the library because somebody told them hide or just lay right here and wait to die. I'll talk about more in that uncensored version of this podcast. But also I did a reacts on the attack that happened in Australia at Bondi Beach. We'll get into that. But the reacts I did, it's egregious, the amount of videos that came out and the people's behavior. Maybe it's Australia because they don't, they're not an armed society. They're literally just sitting ducks waiting to die. And I hate saying that out loud, but it's true. And I want you to live. First things first, is this Australian terror attack at Bondi Beach. It was a hanukkah massacre. On December 14, a terrorist mass shooting occurred at Bonnie beach in Sydney, Australia during a Hanukkah celebration called Chanuka by the Sea. And if I'm mispronouncing that, I apologize. Authorities have officially treated it as a terrorist attack with an anti Semitic motive targeting the Jewish community. I could have told you that in the first five seconds of watching the videos. Right now the death toll is at 16, including a 10 year old child and one of the gunmen. At least 40 to 43 people were injured ranging from minor to critical injuries, including two police officers. Now, you can get a permit for a firearm in Australia. It's an arduous process, but you can get that these guys, allegedly a father age 50 and a son age 24, had those. The father was killed by the police at the scene and the son remains in critical condition and in custody. Reports indicate legally owned firearms were used and Islamic state flags were found in the attacker's vehicle. Now, the Australian, I believe it's the Prime Minister has claimed caught a lot of criticism for antisemitic behavior, including not stopping these protests, these near jihadist style protests. A civilian, Ahmed Al Ahmed, ironically enough, was widely praised as a hero for tackling and disarming one of the gunmen despite being wounded. The victim's range is from age 10 to Holocaust survivors and even community leaders, a Rabbi Eli Shangler and others from diverse international backgrounds. I even saw a recent interview with a survivor of October 7th and then was here and I saw somebody tweeted that it was a statistical unlikelihood that this person would be in both places. But it's a very significant Jewish holiday and ceremony. So I, I don't know why that would be outside of the realm of possibility if you're Jewish and you live in Israel and then you're coming to Australia to do something else. The government, Government's reaction. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese condemned the attack. Yeah, he should have been doing that in the first place with all the rhetoric, rhetoric, propaganda and the protests that were taking place before that. Australia right now, right now out the gate is discussing tougher gun laws because if they had less restrictive gun laws, the guy, instead of tackling the guy with the gun, nearly getting killed himself for tackling the guy, he could have engaged him and ended this immediately. Australia is discussing that and including firearm license reviews and limits on gun ownership. This idea that is radically in western civilization outside of our country in the uk, Canada and Australia, that if we take away your ability to defend yourself, we're all going to be safer blows my mind because if these guys weren't legally able to get these guns, they would have illegally obtained guns or used a car. So taking away gun ownership from law abiding sovereign citizens to defend themselves and their communities in a situation like this is insanity, insane. All the statistics by the way, I've done, I've done entire case studies on this in college. I could tell you there is no proof or evidence at all that gun restrictions reduce violent gun crime. Zero. Because all the people who are committing the gun crime have intent to do malice things to good people and they're going to get the tool, the gun no matter what. So the fact that they're looking at law abiding citizens who do have firearm licenses and going now we're going to restrict them despite them going through the process, how about you just arm citizens or allow them to make that Decision on their own, these guys would have came out with their rifles immediately and been engaged by law abiding citizens. Global leaders including the pope have called for an end to anti semitic violence. Yeah, good for you, pope. No offense to Catholics, but like, yeah, a lot of talk coming out of talking heads. This was Australia's deadliest mass shooting in nearly 30 years. The anti semitic nature of the attack places it in the context of rising global hate motivated violence. And it's happening all over the world. And it's funny that Australia is just recognizing this and we're just putting this out, but this is obviously happening throughout the globe with radical jihadists, which is the main talking point of today. If I had to summarize the podcast, this incident raises questions. Gun licensing, online radicalization, Australia's inability to stop and suppress, go after these talking jihadist protesters that were literally saying allah akbar and death to everybody. So this recently was reported by Joe Kent, who's serving as the director of u. S. National counterterrorism center, the nctc. And he just testified in December. And the key claim is that the NCTC, which I believe believes there are approximately 18, 18,000 known or suspected terrorists who have entered or remained in the United States. 18,000. That is not an exaggeration from Joe Kent. That is the number. The figure refers to individuals identified by federal counterterrorism analysis over multiple years. They didn't wake up and go, we think based on the numbers, we take 11 to 20 million, we it's 18,000. This is based on the analysis over multiple years, including migrants from various global hotspots that were allowed in. We allowed a president to be in a position of power to basically when he was sleeping, open up the floodgates. We did it. Kent testified that the NCTC believes there are 18,000 and that figure refers to individuals identified by federal counterterrorism. A point of focus has been the vetting standards for refugees and evacuees, especially after the Afghanistan withdrawal. The topic came under sharp partisan debate with republicans emphasizing lax vetting. You know, I already did an episode on this. You know what vetting is? Vetting is biometrics in a conversation and critics pointing to bipartisan complexities in immigration policy. Of course they will say it's complex. Is it really complex? How about the first thing we did right after Trump took over is shut down the border, the physical border. That's not that complex. Whether this represents active operational threats versus individuals under surveillance, we don't know, but does it matter? 18 thou. That is the town of heber City, Utah. The town that I'm in is 8, around 18,000 people. The issue ties into larger discussions of border security, intelligence sharing and community safety networks, especially community safety networks. What we're seeing happen again and again where the news spikes a little bit. We talk about this national guards woman that was killed, two of them shot in the back of the head by a jihadist. And nobody mentions it anymore because how would we ever be able to push our radical left wing agendas via our narratives on MSNBC if we're talking about the reality of terrorism and jihadists in our country? Right. That's what's happening right now. Also, this Brown university shooting in Providence, Rhode Island, December 13. A mass shooting occurred inside an academic building at Brown university. Two students were killed, nine others were injured with a mix of critical and stable cases. Police initially out the gate detained a person of interest, but they were released without charges after evidence did not support involvement. They just put out a statement that said there is no immediate threat. Again, this is the error of politics in reality for you to say as a law enforcement agency, as a, a powerful entity where people listen to you, to say nobody's in direct danger. If there's a shooter out there. And he went to Brown university and got away with it once in desperation, likely thought he was going to get killed in the process and survived. Why wouldn't he do it again? So the idea that, hey, everything's fine is interesting to say the least, but I think it's false. I think it's a fabrication. And again, it's politics getting mucked up or mucking up reality. As of the latest updates, the actual shooter is at large and law enforcement continues the search. The attack took place during the final exams. Heightened trauma and disruption on campus. I'll be doing a reacts later on Mike glover channel this week. Is the issue ongoing gun violence or is it people with issues? If we are protecting our banks, our federal institutions, every single federal government building that I've been in, the CIA headquarters is the most secure place on the planet. They have their own police entity, the office, office of security that protects that entire place. Why aren't we protecting our schools? Why aren't we doing that? The the release of the initial person of interest underscores investigative uncertainty. And everybody was like, oh, thank God we got the shooter. And then we don't. Lastly, the two u. S. Soldiers and interpreter killed in Syria. This happened also on December 13. Now look, a lot of people will, will write this off and say, oh, this is just like small little things that are happening, and it's not a systemic issue. These are the first military casualties and Trump's nearly one year in his second term. The first military casualties since he entered as the president in a year. Two US Soldiers, I believe they were with the Iowa national guard and a U. S. Civilian interpreter killed apparently in a key leader engagement. A KLE meeting. Now, KLE would be like this local mayor wants to meet with a commander and the platoon sergeant, somebody who's in charge, and then the two meet up together and they have a conversation. It could be a meeting at, in a boardroom. It could be drinking chai sitting on your butt. I mean, it's a key leader engagement and it typically involves headquarters, which is why I believe this was a target of opportunity. It wasn't just random soldiers. It was probably a commander or somebody in charge. So what we know is the ambush occurred near Palmra, a key strategic region where US Forces have maintained counter ISIS and stabil stabilization operations. You know, I, I believe special operations is operating all throughout there, still going after ISIS in the area. Three US Soldiers were wounded but survived. President Trump and Pentagon officials condemned the attack and pledged a serious retaliatory response. Now, what I've kind of learned from Trump is if he puts that out, they're going hard in the paint. You better believe they're going to go after these guys and they should. You know, everybody cheers and celebrates because we have a new government in Syria and he's coming to the White House and we have things under control. There are always going to be radical jihadists throughout the globe, not only infiltrated in those regions going after targets of opportunity, but for sure, just like Joe Kent articulated in that congressional hearing, even in our own country, which is scary. So these losses underscore the broader challenge. There is a jihadist resurgence that's taking place. I'm going to talk about that in the underground and what you could do about it, because, look, I've been talking for months about the potential of September 11, 2.0. We talk about it on survival dispatch with Chris heaven Khalid. There's even an episode this afternoon at five o'. Clock. I'm on every Wednesday for five to six, mountain standard time. I usually post that link on the free side of my patreon. Make sure you tune in. We talk about everything from preparation to security to things to look for. And we have a lot of expertise, including from Khed, who is an expert on counterterrorism and literally lives in Pakistan. Lastly, domestic versus international terrorism dynamics. Look, the Bondi attack and the Syrian ambush reflect this is happening all over the world. Is it only a matter of time before it happens in our country? I think that's something that we should ask ourselves. I'll cover it in the underground. Lastly, I want to say a big shout out to a veteran entrepreneur who's building a business. It's called Vets Tactical. You could see what it is here. I can't really talk about it in detail because I'll get suppressed and literally get a strike for that. But you can see where it's at right here. This is a cup thing that fits into a cup holder and has ready access to the pew when you need it. Guys. Check them out in the link down below. I'll offer a discount code. No more affiliate kickbacks with Vets Tactical. Just want to support entrepreneurs, especially our veteran entrepreneurs that are out there doing it. Until next time. Peace out guys.
