Send us Fan MailIn this episode of the MomLife Ministries Podcast, Melanie and Christy pause to reflect on what God has been teaching us through our Safe + Secure journey. After spending the year anchored in Psalm 23 and John 10, we revisit the comforting truth that Jesus, our Good Shepherd, is present with us in every moment of motherhood—the busy, the beautiful, and the overwhelming. Together, we talk about fast-paced seasons, emotional honesty with God, noticing spiritual growth, and trusting him through wilderness stretches of mom life. We also explore the importance of remembering God’s faithfulness and building spiritual friendships that help anchor us in truth. As summer begins and rhythms shift, this conversation offers encouragement to stay connected and continue walking closely with the Shepherd who leads, stays, and provides.Check out our new theme for 2026-27 here!Register to Start/Lead a Local MomLife Group! Send us Fan MailIn this episode of the MomLife Ministries Podcast, we continue our Safe + Secure: Life with the Good Shepherd series by closing out John 10. We explore what discipleship looks like in everyday motherhood. As Jesus reveals his identity in the first century, we’re reminded that people responded in very different ways, just as people (including our children) do today. This conversation unpacks practical, honest encouragement for discipling our kids: modeling our own faith, making space for questions, releasing control, and trusting the Good Shepherd with every part of their story. Our guest today is Stephani Cook. Stephani has spent many years in school psychology and is passionate about helping others cultivate healthy relationships and intentional, abundant living. She also serves as Vice President of the MomLife Ministries Board of Directors. She has been married for over 30 years and is the mom of two adult children. Send us Fan MailAs sheep of the Good Shepherd, we are called to one flock. But in a divided culture, staying unified is easier said than done. In a world that constantly demands we "pick a side," how do we personally resist the pull of division and instead model a life of safety + security for our children?Today, we continue our Safe + Secure: Life with the Good Shepherd series by diving into a challenging section of John 10. While we love the imagery of the Shepherd’s individual care, Jesus also speaks of a "unified flock" that stretches beyond our own comfortable circles. Joining us is Lydia Lucas: wife, mom, writer, ministry leader, seminary student, and co-founder of Latinas Loving Jesus.Together, we explore how resting in our security with Christ empowers us to raise kids who are both firm in their faith and fierce in their pursuit of unity.Save the Date: Saturday, April 11 from 9:00am-12:30pm.Joy in Parenting is a MomLife Ministries gospel-centered community event for moms of all ages and stages. Send us Fan MailIn this episode, we’re slowing down to practice Lectio Divina: an ancient, prayerful way of listening to God through Scripture. As we transition from Psalm 23 into John 10 for the spring semester, we’ll meditate on Jesus’s words, “I am the Good Shepherd.”Together we’ll walk through four simple movements:Read—Notice what stands out from the passage.Reflect—Consider what God might be saying through the passage.Respond—Pray from your heart.Rest—Sit quietly with God and listen.Using John 10:3–11, we’ll listen to the Shepherd who calls us by name, leads us toward abundant life, and protects us from the thief who steals and destroys. This practice helps us slow down, quiet the noise, and recognize Jesus’s loving, guiding voice in our everyday lives as moms.Listen during a walk, your commute, or a quiet moment at home… anytime you need space to slow down, listen to God, and build a practice of discernment.📖 Want more MomLife encouragement?
